There's one guy and I only have his name and the city he lives in.

How can I hire a killer to kill him? What if I told you that all over the world, there are hundreds of people with no idea that somebody wants them dead? I want her to be killed, but it should seem she is dead because of accident, not by murder. Out there, in the dark underbelly of the internet, there is a secret kill list.
Seeking house to be burned down with occupants inside. No survivors.
And I can see it. I'm Karl Miller.
I'm a journalist and author. And since 2020, I've been part of a team working in secret to stop people getting murdered.
We're in the worst possible position, I could think. Like, the world is on fire.
We're in the middle of a global pandemic, meaning we can't leave our houses. We found ourselves in the middle of a live assassination market and we don't even have any policy or moral guidance yet in terms of what we actually do.
I don't know, man. It looks like a big Pandora's box that we're opening.
And once you open it, it's open, man. I don't think we can put it shut.
It would become my job to tell complete strangers that someone has paid to have them killed.

Hello there, can I speak to a **** please?

Yes, me. Hold on.

Hello, it's me. Who are you?

This is the story of our mission to keep the people on the kill list safe.
