Hey folks, Erin here.
Welcome back to Deeper Lore.
As always, Deeper Lore is a bonus episode that's just designed to be a topical guide for you.
If you enjoyed the most recent episode of the main lore show, episode 249 return trip, then this short bonus episode is designed to point you toward older ones that have covered similar topics.
This week's new lore episode is all about the ghosts of the sky, but it's not the first time that we have soared to the heights of ghostly air travel.
So here are three older episodes that might be fun to revisit.
First up, go download episode 32, Tampered.
This oldie might be focused on a special creature from folklore known as a gremlin, but the key stories take place in the sky.
It's a fan favorite, so if you haven't heard it in a while, or ever at all, do go check it out.
Next, go download episode 220, Uplifting.
Apparently, there was a long string of unusual sightings in the sky during the Victorian era, but rather than airships or even UFOs, people were spotting airships, as in balloons.
Part Jules Verne, part fire in the sky, this one is quite a trip.
And finally, you can't go wrong with episode 47 missing the point.
No, this one does not feature mechanical flight of any kind, but it does have wings.
And for lovers of classic cryptid episodes, the spotlight on the legend of the Mothman should give you a lift.
So there you go.
Follow up this week's episode with a trip into the past.
Episodes 32, 220, and 47 are waiting for you in this podcast feed, or you can find their direct links in the description for this episode.
And until next time, stay spooky.
