Hey folks, Erin here.

Welcome back to another edition of Deeper Lore, a bonus episode designed to serve as a topical guide to the most recent episode of lore.

Why?

Well, frankly, there are a lot of lore episodes in our catalog now.

After 10 plus years, we've managed to write and publish over 350 episodes, each one containing multiple stories, characters, events, and creatures.

It's a lot to try and remember, which is why the lore team and I have a massive spreadsheet with keywords to help us keep it all straight.

So, when we publish a new lore episode, they are often related in some way to older ones, and like pairing a fine wine with the right food, many of these new episodes just feel more complete when you can follow them up by listening to others that fit them.

And there you go, that's the purpose of deeper lore.

So, let's get started, shall we?

This week for episode 291, Dream Come True, we explored the realm of premonitions, dreams, and predicting the future.

It's not as safe and cozy as it seems though, and I think the team did a fantastic job of unpacking what turned out to be a really complicated topic.

But it's not the first time we've discussed dreams and visions, so here are three older episodes that will pair up nicely with this week's new one.

First, episode 111 Inside Job.

I have recommended this one before, but this story is one of my absolute favorites.

They called her Sleeping Lucy because of the way she would work her magic, and the legacy she left behind is creepy, inspiring, and powerful.

Do check it out.

Next, download episode 143 Inside Information.

This oldie tells a few stories about omens delivered not by dreams, but by ghosts.

And that, of course, makes this the sort of episode you want to listen to with the lights on.

Enjoy.

And finally, there's lore legends number 30.

Coming at the topic from the urban legend angle, this episode really delivers on the creepy folklore around predictions and warnings of impending death.

I think you're going to love it.

So there you go.

Follow up this week's brand new episode with a trip into the past.

Episodes 111, 143, and Legends 30 are waiting for you in this podcast feed.
