Hi, this is Isaac Dover, political correspondent with The Atlantic.

I'm here to announce that The Atlantic's weekly politics podcast is relaunching as The Ticket.

With the voting starting for the 2020 election, we're focusing the show on questions that will define this crazy year in politics.

I'll talk with the people in power and those trying to get in power to understand what we're all going through.

We are in a moment no less dire than my ancestors and our ancestors faced.

They used the power of the presidency to call the president of Ukraine and ask for dirt on an American citizen, on a political rival.

I'll be on the road all over the country in caucuses and primaries and swing states and back to Washington.

We'll sit down with the people running for president and many other offices to talk about what they do, who they are, and why they're even running in the first place.

Look, they blew everything up, which means that there is a chance to build something new and better on the rubble.

So stay tuned for real conversations with the real people shaping politics.

If you've been subscribed to Radio Atlantic, you don't have to do anything.

New episodes will arrive in the same feed as they do each week.

If you're new to the show, just look for the ticket, Politics from the Atlantic, wherever you get your podcasts.
