The Left's Very Literal Mental Breakdown
Professional psychiatrists are reporting a huge surge of left-wing patients ever since the 2024 election. That's funny, of course, but it has deeper importance too. Charlie explains why the left making itself into the party of mental illness has hobbled their ability to resist Trump's shock-and-awe agenda. USAID whistleblower, Dr. Mark Moyar, explains how the organization funded "privilege walks" and more with taxpayer dollars.

That is tpusa.com. Buckle up everybody everybody.
Here we go. Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks. I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy. His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here. Noble Gold Investments is the official gold sponsor of The Charlie Kirk Show the rancor, the incessant shrieks that we hear from them in the public square is fading.
Where is la resistance? Where is the resistance? In 2017, they were in the streets.
They were screaming at the sky.
They were protesting in every state capital.
They were raising hundreds of millions of dollars by this time.
The ACLU was so cash rich, they had to find trannies to go higher.
They couldn't even decide where to spend the excess of the billions of dollars they had coming in. Real resistance in 2017 seemed to be organic.
It was a top-down squeeze. The richest people were opposing Trump.
The grassroots were opposing Trump. By this time in 2017, we already had Michael Flynn entrapped.
We had KT McFarland issues. We had National Security Advisor issues.
Russiagate was bubbling up. Bob Mueller was heading down the pike.
We had a major derailment of the mandate of the first presidency. X was still called Twitter, was owned by Jack Dorsey.
Elon was
worried about making electric vehicles. There was no Doge.
There was no J.D. Vance.
The first term was met by an insurmountable surge of opposition, well-funded, curtailed activism. And the Democrat Party decided to make an epistemological and ontological decision.
They decided to make their religious purpose and meaning to destroy Donald Trump. It's a very dangerous and tricky life choice to make every fiber of your being about removing and thwarting a duly elected president of the United States.
Now, to be honest, it gave a lot of mentally ill people meaning in their life. I've seen a lot of them on campuses.
A lot of these people have wanted to kill me. Literally, they've been arrested for threatening to kill me.
They've been arrested for threatening to kill Donald Trump Jr. They almost killed President Trump.
They had existential despair and they tried to fill their existential despair with, we hate the orange man. And millions of people came out of the woodwork, some of whom should have been in mental asylums, and marched in the streets, paraded through campuses, smashed windows, burned Wendy's, and they said, we must defeat him.
And you, of course, know how the story unfolds. It's the greatest political story ever told that started as an insurgency, was derailed by the bad guys, went into exile and mounted a reclamation.
And so now we're looking across the horizon and the terrain. We say, where are they? They're going to regather.
They're going to regroup. But there's a very fascinating wrinkle that is occurring here.
Mental health experts see a massive increase in despair and burnout. Axios, which is a mainstream media regime operation, has published an article claiming that mental health experts are seeing massive increase in patients who are Democrat voters complaining of despair and burnout in the wake of President Trump's winning the election and taking office for the second time.
The piece claims that worn out whiners are whining so much about not being able to keep up with President Trump's shock and awe and rapid fire policies. The article notes, quote, mental health professionals say even people who don't see themselves as directly affected by the administration actions are feeling frazzled by the dizzying pace and Trump's enduring ability to command attention.
Quote, they may feel it through the venting of a spouse, the distress of a neighbor with a trans child or an anxious friend who works for a government contractor. Andrea Bonoir at Georgetown University psychology professor says, quote, she said she's seen an uptick in patients, particularly Democrats,
expressing a sense of burnout, guilt, and despair at losing an old way of life. Bonoit writes, she pointed to federal workers who aren't sure if they'll be let go as others are concerned about their immigration status or worried about loved ones whose refugee flights were canceled.
Everybody, they made a decision to religiously focus on the removal of Donald Trump as their purpose. As Pascal famously wrote, that every human being has a God-sized shape hole in their heart.
And every human being tries to fill that hole, and we believe only our Lord is able to fill that hole. Democrats don't believe in God, and they believe that there was a God, it would be him.
So they don't agree with any element of that. So therefore, they must come up with some construct, some meaning, and think about how similar left-wing activism has been to religion these last couple of years.
They would have group ceremonies similar to a religious experience. They would have approved music.
They would have banners and they would have shirts and they would have incantations. The whole regime media was all focused on this one singular human being.
And contrast that, by the way, with when Donald Trump was removed from office in 2021, in February, March, and April of 2021, we did not go into existential despair. We went to work.
And that is where you deserve credit because you're not mentally challenged. And I know that might sound like it's a little bit of a slight, but let's just be perfectly honest.
The current composition of the American left includes not only, but it includes basically they've redefined themselves as a mentally ill faction. It's a serious structural issue.
Their organization organizations are all messed up by accommodating all the mental illnesses from From woke military to you're not pronouncing me correctly, to the DEI stuff, to oh you offended me. The whole left-wing project is constituted around this elemental agreed-upon proposition that we all have something that we're dealing with and we must pander to one another or pander to you.
And every left-wing organization is wrecked by this. One of the reasons why, you know, they're saying, oh, we need our own Turning Point USA.
That's what they're saying. Mark Halperin said this on the program.
The left wants to try to create their own left-wing Turning Point USA. It's going to be really hard because at Turning Point, we don't put up with any of this stuff, misgendering, garbage.
But if all of a sudden you're trying to start a left-wing Turning Point USA, well, you've got to have equal representation of, well, you've got to have a tranny, you've got to have a black person, you've got to have a Hispanic, you've got to have some sort of equilibrium, you can't have a white man running it, because that would be against our rules. So they have a philosophy that keeps them in shackles.
But you're seeing the left retreat from activism,
and now they're on the psychologist's couch.
Let's play Cut 74.
For every American who doesn't want some weird Elon Musk suck up, searching through your personal private data, this is your fight. Your fight, my fight, our fight, and we will win this fight.
Are you ready to say no to Elon Musk?
We will fight it out in Congress.
We will fight it out in the courts.
We will fight it out across this country.
And I promise you, we will win.
Look, Elizabeth Warren should go be a grandmother.
I'm not kidding.
She should not be doing this screaming into a microphone.
She looks terrible.
She's shaking.
There's something biological in her that says,
just honestly, go spend time with your grandkids.
Do you have grandkids?
I hope you do. I don't know if you do or not.
This whole, like, I'm going to go be an activist, change the world. It makes you into a cruel, uglier person.
Charlie Kirk here in this new year. It's going to be exciting.

It was an unwavering battle cry for justice. And now you just hear the sounds of exhaustion.
These disillusioned warriors of progress, they've traded their placards for therapist appointments. And they're striving to mend the fractured psyche of a movement that no longer feels at home.
I mean, this is just one of many, one after the other. And the hysteria is a limiting currency, limited currency.
There's only so much hysteria that one can engage in. And their rank and file, I am fascinated to see the campus activity next week.
I saw it during the 2024 election. It just missed, on our side, it was gangbusters.
We took over the entire campuses. We had thousands and thousands of students in support of us.
But what I missed was where's the opposition? Where's the one, two, three, F the bourgeoisie? Where's the 5678 you're not going to make me
engage in your hate or whatever silly jingle that they have? Who was the one that they had against me that one time at University of Illinois? I'm actually, I may or may not be going, I can't say that. I might be going back to University of Illinois.
This is Joy Reid. She's a very sad person.
It's this amazing irony that she's named Joy. Full crisis in our democracy.
No one believes you. Even your rank and file is like, stop it.
Give me the Xanax. Please, I can't handle it.
Where's the Valium? They did full opposition against Trump and we beat them.'re so overly dramatic and i mean this sounds so cliche and i don't like doing cliches but it really is the boy who cried wolf i mean it's like the perfect childhood story that kind of just is presenting in front of us it is it's perfect i can't think of a better example play cut 73 but we But we begin tonight with a full on crisis in our democracy as federal workers are literally locked out of their offices while operatives working for a private citizen essentially take over our government. Their tactics in their tactics include turning off our federal websites, deleting government funded research that you the, the taxpayer, paid for to impose speech codes, bullying news organizations by demanding interview transcripts, implementing an FBI purge, locking federal workers out of their computers, and even turning them away at their offices while giving themselves, without congressional or any other authorization full access.
Okay, now I got to focus on the earrings.
Got to get them up on screen.
I'm sorry.
Before I go into the actual details, what is that?
So it's either one of two things.
Is that a picture of Africa?
Is that an elephant?
Or are those ovaries?
I can't quite tell.
Can we get a zoom up on the Joy Reid earrings? Those have their own zip code. Can we get a little enhanced image there of the earrings? I'm going for ovaries or elephant.
And if it's an elephant, it's a little ironic. I think it is an elephant.
So she's wearing Republican earrings. I think that's, what do you guys think? Freedom at charliekirk.com.
What the fresh heck is that? Is it a dragon? I don't think it's a dragon. I don't think it's ovaries.
It's an elephant. Blake speak from on high that it's an elephant.
So what is she trying to tell us? Going to become a Republican? Anyway, so Joy, it looks like something Indiana Jones would fish out of the Temple of Doom. I know.
You need bigger earrings next time, Joy. I can't see them.
Could you imagine in the production room at MSNBC?
I guarantee you there's some person in quality control at MSNBC looking at this.
They say, oh my gosh, what are we doing?
And they want to tell her to get rid of the earrings,
but they know that she'll be like, racist!
You're terrible!
So she has untouchable ability to wear the most horrendous earrings ever because you want to be called a racist. So Joy Reid going on this rant about our democracy.
I would love to speak to her or anybody, and this is why I can't wait to get back on campus, anybody who wants to talk about this. So let me get started.
So it's a threat to our democracy that the person that the people voted for is fulfilling what the people voted for. New York Times, Trump's actions have created a constitutional crisis, scholars say.
Oh yeah, just like experts say that you shouldn't send your kids to school during COVID or wear a mask when you shower and take the nine different mRNA gene altering vaccines. No one believes this stuff anymore.
All these old tricks are exhausted and they're just going to keep on running the same playbook. Meanwhile, doge is here, cuts are here, and we're getting back to the founders and framers intent for this country.

Joining us now is Dr. Mark Moyer,
professor at America's greatest college, Hillsdale College, but also a USAID whistleblower. Dr.
Moyer, welcome to the program. Tell us about what you saw and experienced at USAID.
It's great to be with you, Charlie. Yes, I worked at USAID in the first Trump administration.
And to understand what's going on now there, you really need to understand
the first Trump administration because it was a cesspool of corruption and bureaucratic resistance. Now, one of the problems we had was the first, basically the year of the Trump administration, basically 2017, there were very few political appointees.
And so you had the bureaucracy essentially running the organization and doing all sorts of bad things. And this memory lingers for those of us who came in.
I didn't get there until 2018. There were very few of us.
Pete Morocco, who is now in a leading role, he didn't come until even after that. And so you had lots of terrible things
happening. One was the administration was continuing to push things like DEI and
transgenderism. And you also just had all sorts of avenues for corruption.
And I reported some of
that corruption. And then I became a target of the bureaucracy.
And ultimately, they pushed me out.
So tell us more about what you learned and some of the more outrageous examples and incidences at USAID. So one of the things I saw and one of the things I learned quickly was that there is a strong anti-Christian sentiment within the organization.
And this has a lot to do with LGBTQ and abortion activism. One of the interesting things about USAID is you do have a significant number of people who are children of missionaries, and themselves, many of them are people of faith, but they have to live in the closet because they are so afraid of retribution.
And under the preceding Obama administration, they had gone to great lengths to try to purge any sort of support for faith-based organizations. So when Trump came in 2017, that was a priority.
Let's work on faith-based organizations. Let's support religious groups.
And oftentimes in these countries, they have some of the best people and the most dedicated people. And so I went out in 2018 and did a trip to Africa, and very few Trump appointees had been there at that point.
And what I found was that the missions there were refusing to work with faith-based groups because they were still operating on Obama-era guidance from a year and a half ago that said the establishment clause doesn't let us do that. And that, of course, is complete nonsense.
And ultimately, we were able to make some progress on there. Of course, when the Biden people came back in, they reversed that again because they are dominated by LGBT and abortion interests.
So you've told a story about a privilege walk, which is just wild to hear. You had to play a role as a Scandinavian woman? Yes.
And that's another indication of how much the bureaucracy was still in control in 2018. When I got there, there should have been a session for new political appointees.
There wasn't any such thing. There was nobody telling us, here's what the mission is.
Here's how you do it. We were kind of left to fend for ourselves.
But we did have to go through the new employee orientation for career staff. And one of those things was this so-called privilege walk, where you stand in a line, you have this role, and then they read out statements like, you know, people make bad stereotypes about me or I have trouble getting services.
And at the end, you know, you step forward or back based on where you are. The white male is at the front so everyone can see that he's the one with the privilege and then everyone else is various distances behind.
And this is just wrong on so many levels. I mean, for one thing, we're talking about adults here who should understand that life isn't fair and some people have more advantages than others.
But it also is aimed at specifically pointing to white male privilege, which, you know, as people who've looked at this seriously know, there's a lot of white males in this country who don't have very much privilege. You have a lot of class privilege.
You also have a white liberal. If you're a white liberal, you can get away with a lot more and do all sorts of things you couldn't as a white conservative.
But the other thing about this is it's basically intended to support left-wing politics because it's saying you are in your spot because of your circumstances. You don't really have control.
It's all because somebody else is creating a bad situation for you. And so this is a abdication of personal responsibility.
And of course, a reason to say, OK, well, you know what we need since you can't take care of yourself and you're in the situation we need the government to come in and do things. I mean, that's just extraordinary.
Just everyone understands that if you watch a video of a privilege walk, it's incredibly disgusting and just repulsive, where they will differentiate you based on race and then tell you, well, because you're a white male, you have all these advantages. I mean, you should be like, well, actually, let's do a walk.
Who here wants to walk for that had two parents around, that had parents that didn't commit crimes? I mean, if you want to talk about the actual reasons why people are able to advance, or how about those of you that wake up early, don't do drugs, actually take your life seriously. If you were to give advice to the Trump administration to fix USAID, what would you recommend? Yeah, well, I think they're already doing a lot of great things in a lot of great directions.
You know, they moved in very quickly. They purged a lot of the bad actors who were there when I was there and people who helped get me pushed out of the agency.
And that includes the head of the Office of Security, the ethics official. It's unbelievable how the people there who are supposed to be in charge of enforcing rules are actually a big part of the problem.
I think the biggest challenge going forward is to sort out what could still be kept and what should be eliminated. I think everyone, including Secretary Rubio, would say there are important things that we do with foreign aid, but there's a lot of terrible things.
And we've seen all these stories about transgender operas and DEI comic books and DEI consultants who get paid these huge homes. That obviously gets swept away.
But the more difficult task is that the Biden people have injected DEI, LGBTQ, LGBTQ, feminism, radical feminism into all their programs. You know, even if something that seems very innocuous, you think, you know, a global health program seems okay.
And, you know, they're hiding the fact that, well, they count transgender surgery as global health. So it's going to take a lot of time to dig through there and take that bad stuff
out and purge it from the programs that are still worth keeping. Why do you think that this did not
make bigger news during the first Trump administration? Yeah, that's an excellent
question. I think it just, you didn't have somebody like an Elon Musk out there banging the drum.
I started working on this. I published a book last year about what was going on at USAID, but it was hard to get people's attention because people said, well, we never heard of USAID.
In fact, I had suggested to the publisher we could call Agency for International Corruption. Again, they said, well, people just don't know this.
So it took Elon Musk raising the issue and also the approach they took at the beginning. They went in and said, OK, give us your information.
And the bureaucrats tried to block them and gave them an excuse to go in and seize all this information. Because that was in the first term, we couldn't get that.
The bureaucrats would stonewall even senior appointees. They would not give information to Congress.
And so finally, thanks to Doge, we are now paying attention and it's long overdue. Well, Dr.
Moyer, we love Hillsdale College. We appreciate you blowing the whistle.
Thank you so much. Thanks.
Great to talk to you, Charlie. Thank you.
Talk to you soon. This is infected throughout the entire federal bureaucracy.
I hope you understand this. When we talk on this program on how terrible college campuses have become, this is an example of how this mind virus has infected every portion of our federal government.
privilege walks used to be something that were done at the most radical university campuses that they'd be done in nyu or they'd be done at stanford but to do that within usa id it shows how
the college campus radical university campuses. They'd be done in NYU or they'd be done at Stanford.
But to do that within USAID, it shows how the college campification of the country has been executed, turned the whole country into a major college campus. And now we are trying to unravel that.
And at quite a record pace, by the way, we're seeing it already start to fall apart because it is an empire built on a very brittle foundation. It is a fragile regime.
And holding the line is critically important. Who could possibly be against the Department of Government Efficiency? Well, we know who, the entire Democrat Party.
And that's why we're going to play offense on this topic. We want to make government more official.
And they'll say, oh, it's not that much money. That is a terrible argument.
If it even saves $5 of you as taxpayer, it's a fight worth having. So next argument.
Oh, it's not going to add up very much. And what's the point? That is a cynical, nihilistic view of budgeting.
We do not subscribe to it. Every dollar taxpayer money should be cherished and should be valued.
If you find an outrageous line item for $5 million or $20 million. And by the way, under that belief, how many of you go, if you get a check at a restaurant, or go through your Visa bill and start asking questions? Are all of you guys okay if they just say oh sorry you had to go pay for the entree of the table next to you oh i guess that's fine it's only 20 bucks it's only 30 bucks we all check receipts why don't our leaders do the same five million dollar line item is the lifetime taxes of 10 people and this is exactly the type of of BS argumentation of how you get this waste in the first place.
It is our money, not the government's money. We shouldn't let people propagandize us that $10 or $50 or $100 million is irrelevant.
That is an attempt at hypnosis. They're trying to hypnotize you.
We need a full cultural transformation root and stem. Hey, Charlie Kirk here.

Campus tour starts next week. Let's kind of get the energy going here.
Let's go to cut 64. Would you support white-only dormitories? Everybody has a choice.
So I think white-only and black-only anything is evil and wrong. That's why I hate critical theory and critical race theory, because when it's put in practice, when it's put in practice, you start to discriminate people based on race.
So we're now south of the Mason-Dixon line in North Carolina. We did a lot of work to get rid of segregation in this country.
Why are you trying to bring it back? What work? The Civil Rights Act of 1964. In this state? Yeah, actually in this state.
Are there black-only bathrooms out there I'm unaware of or white-only bathrooms? Nah. Right.
A lot of work was done in this state. You, your face is small.
Well, thanks for being here. They always go to insults when they lose the argument.
God bless you, my friend. He's going to go work for USAID.
Actually, no, he won't because they're not hiring. But typically, he'd be a great applicant.
With a stroke of a pen, President Donald Trump has made the entire American culture bend the knee. It is full scale cultural capitulation.
It is one after the other. PBS Public Broadcasting has said, PBS caves the Trump, oust staffers.
We have closed our DEI office. Goldman Sachs, otherwise known as Government Sachs, is abandoning a significant pledge it made to refuse initial public offering business with companies that had all white, all male boards gone.
Disney making efforts to change his DEI efforts. Now, look, here's the important thing.
They're going to try to have DEI under the surface. Anywhere we see it, it's not going to happen.
No more racial quotas, no more equity. We're not going to do any of this.
I don't care about the color of skin. I care about merit.
That's phase two. Understand, phase two is it's going to go below the surface.
These little cockroaches are not going to go away. They'll try to hide it below the surface.
we need to make an example out of one or two places where it's still happening from college admissions to grant funding to internships do you remember state street
capital partners who famously said we're not going to hire white men for internships or jobs? We need to sue them into oblivion. They're going to act in a more clandestine manner.
Just like we have insubordinates in the federal government, we'll have that in the private sector. We need to exercise and excommunicate the DEI demons that have infected our country the last couple of years.
And you know what's amazing is how little pushback there is. Yeah, I mean, there's the clamoring people in the corner.
It just goes to show how our theory of the case has been correct. Our theory of the case was as follows.
We lived through an attempted cultural Chinese style revolution, a Chinese style culture revolution in 2020. And it goes to show it was built on a Potemkin village.
There was not mass support for this. It was a color revolution.
Let's go through the list. Disney responds, gets rid of DEI.
Target has rolled back its DEI. John Deere has scaled back its DEI.
Boeing has scaled back its DEI. Harley-Davidson, Lowe's, Walmart, McDonald's, Amazon, Meta.
It's almost a competition. It's a race to who's actually still going to have this stuff.
You're going to stick out like a sore thumb. By the way, that goes for every college too.
All of these colleges have DEI departments. Ooh, you want to talk about a delicious little thing?
That's where some of the opposition is going to come.
In fact, it's going to be very interesting to see.
President Trump wrote the executive order for all the federal branch of government
for people that receive federal funding, grants, tuition, or subsidized student loans.
Woo!
You're trying to tell me that Wellesley, Williams College, Brown, Cornell,
they're going to defy the order. I guarantee it.
They're going to say, oh, no, no, we're not going to listen to it. Or imagine these colleges that are forced to do it.
Oh, they're going to protest. And these kids are going to lose so much public opinion.
If you think the Hamas protests were noteworthy, wait for the DEI department protests. And they're going to look so unpopular.
And they're just going to have such a crass way about them. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to crush these cockroaches.
The DEI infestation of our country. And no, that is not a racial thing.
It is an ideological thing. It's do you believe that people should be organized based on the color of their skin? I say no.
The Ku Klux Klan says yes, and Democrats say yes, and DEI departments say yes. I say no.
We're at our best when we're based on merit. We're at our worst when we're based on race.
America's best moments have been merit-based. Our ugliest moments have been race-based.
So getting rid of
DEI is saying we don't want to go back to that. And we have to play unapologetic offense on this.
Every DEI official should not be rehired. Period.
If they were involved in a DEI department, they're done. We don't want them.
They're not to be rehired, especially the federal government, corporate America, etc. Go find work elsewhere.
Go work for the California State Pension Fund. Go work for Massachusetts.
Well, you're not going to have any high level position. We need to make it toxic to hire such DEI officials.
Toxic. We're not going to say, oh, you know, you're going to have a soft landing.
There'll be no soft landing. This is one of the ugliest things that manifested itself in every corner of American life, and we're not going to put up with it.
President Donald Trump with one executive order has impacted the federal government and any private contractor. The American Renaissance is being live streamed.
And where is the opposition? They're too busy talking to their mental health counselors trying to get a refill of their valiant script. Meanwhile, we're saving the country and it's going to happen every day.
Full throttle, full offense. The left is far weaker than we ever realized.
