Speaker 7 Donald Trump just wrapped up a disastrous press conference with Australia's Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese. Let me show you what went down.
Donald Trump, again, just looking sickly.

Speaker 7 It's very bizarre. He started talking about the haircuts of the members of the press who were asking him questions.
Here, play this clip.

Speaker 9 President Trump, so a question to both of you if you don't mind.

Speaker 10 I love his haircut.

Speaker 10 I'm going to try that. No, I love it.

Speaker 7 So, as we all know, and then this reporter asked him him a very good question. I mean, she said, why aren't you providing the tomahawks to Ukraine?

Speaker 7 Why aren't you supporting Lindsey Graham and other Republicans in the Senate and who are trying to impose these serious sanctions against Putin and label Putin a terrorist?

Speaker 7 Watch how Donald Trump treats this female reporter. Again, it's really disgusting stuff.
Here, play this clip.

Speaker 11 This lady has done such an amazing job on the Ukrainian children who were abducted by Russia. Would you support Senator Lindsey Graham's bill to declare Russia a terrorist state?

Speaker 11 And you have within your power the most powerful man on earth. Why don't you just enable Ukraine to finish this war tomorrow?

Speaker 10 Well, if you knew anything about what you were talking about, you'd be able... You do.

Speaker 10 I don't think you do, really. I don't think you do because it's a little more complicated than that, but it sounds easy.
We're in the process of trying to make a deal. If we make a deal, that's great.

Speaker 10 If we don't make a deal, it'll be

Speaker 10 a a lot of people are going to be paying a big price.

Speaker 9 President Trump, so a question to both of you, Geneva.

Speaker 7 Yeah, I mean, Trump is totally unhinged. This was a very, very strange press conference.

Speaker 7 A reporter then asked Donald Trump, you know, what's your response to the Prime Minister of Australia saying that there's a trade imbalance with Australia that's significantly in the United States's favor?

Speaker 7 I mean, the U.S. has a massive trade surplus.
So why are you hitting your friend and ally, Australia, with these tariffs? And then Donald Trump just starts rambling about airplanes.

Speaker 7 You have to buy our airplanes. It's very strange here.
Play this clip.

Speaker 12 Mr. President, the Prime Minister mentioned that there's a trade imbalance that's very heavily in America's favor.

Speaker 13 Why does America slap such heavy tariffs on a friend and ally?

Speaker 10 Well, we don't.

Speaker 10 Well, we do in some cases. We do in many cases because we've been treated unfairly.
But actually, the tariffs are very light.

Speaker 10 The one thing is you buy a lot of airplanes, so that helps because you buy a lot of the beautiful Boeings, the best of the Boeings, Boeing, and by the way, Boeing is really doing well.

Speaker 10 They have lots of orders, and they're really doing a great job. They make a great plan.

Speaker 10 But Australia, because of its location, which is great, but one of the things dictated by that location is you have to order a lot of airplanes. So I guess we have that advantage.

Speaker 10 They need a lot of airplanes in Australia, and that gives us a little bit of an easy person.

Speaker 7 Another reporter from Australia then asked Donald Trump, so would you consider lifting the tariffs ever for Australia?

Speaker 7 I mean, given all the facts and data, which shows that there's a trade surplus, Australia is a friend.

Speaker 7 Why would you do this? And then Donald Trump just goes on this weird rant and rave that he always does about he solved eight wars and he's going to solve nine wars soon.

Speaker 7 He just makes up numbers and I've created all of this peace and I'm great. He doesn't answer the question.

Speaker 7 And I mean, here's the thing when you watch this and to all of our Australian viewers, the Midas mates or the Midas down under, I mean, you see how, I mean, this is just an individual who's so unhinged and untethered from reality.

Speaker 7 And he's a real threat to Australia, a real threat to the world. Here, play this clip.

Speaker 11 President, given the trade surplus that the U.S. enjoys with Australia, would you consider lifting the tariffs that you've imposed on Australia? And can you give us any details about the critical?

Speaker 10 Yeah, well, the tariffs have been amazing because, you know, tariffs have been really a reason that I was able to settle almost all of the, you know, I've settled eight wars in eight months. Not bad.

Speaker 10 I have one more to go. It's Russia-Ukraine, and I think we'll get there, but it's turned out to be nasty because you have two leaders that truly hate each other.

Speaker 10 You can't have it all right. They hate each other beyond all else, And it makes it actually a little bit difficult.
But

Speaker 10 we tra of the eight deals, I would say because of tariffs, four or five of them were settled. It's an amazing thing, the power of tariffs in terms of our country.

Speaker 10 But tariffs have always been used against us. We never use them against anywhere else.
And now you have a president that, for national security reasons and other reasons, is using them.

Speaker 10 We've become a very rich nation again and a very secure nation again.

Speaker 10 But we've also become a nation that used that power of tariffs and the power of trade to settle five of the eight wars that i said i settled eight i'm very proud of that nobody else has settled one i don't think there's been an american president that settled one i think there probably hasn't been outside of the two countries involved or however many are at war i don't think there's ever been an outside country that settled the war period so i settled eight in eight months i'm proud of that now in the meantime i'm running a country that's right now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world we were dead a year and a half ago we were a dead country.

Speaker 10 Now we're the hottest country in the world, economically and otherwise.

Speaker 10 But I will say this. Australia pays very low tariffs.
Very, very low tariffs. In fact,

Speaker 10 Australia pays among the lowest tariffs.

Speaker 7 Donald Trump has then asked a question

Speaker 7 about this ceasefire. It's not a peace deal.
It's a ceasefire in the Middle East, which Israel and Hamas never signed. I just want to emphasize that.
And it seems to be collapsing.

Speaker 7 I mean, almost 40 Palestinians have been killed hamas has reasserted control israel has continued to shell and strike uh southern gaza also hitting lebanon as well netanyahu doesn't support a two-state solution trump doesn't support a two-state solution so what are we even talking about here and then donald trump is like hamas they need to behave they need to behave behave themselves here watch this clip here let's play it the middle east and now it's all i mean we have a little situation relatively with Hamas and that will be taken care of very quickly if they don't straighten it out themselves because they're in violation of their agreements.

Speaker 7 Price picks.

Speaker 14 It's good to be right.

Speaker 7 Donald Trump has asked about soybeans and the fact that our soybean farmers are all going bankrupt.

Speaker 7 You'll recall Trump gave $40 billion of our taxpayer money to Australia while our farmers are experiencing far mageddens.

Speaker 7 Also our construction workers, our manufacturing workers, frankly, all Americans are suffering, but Argentina is getting a $40 billion bailout while 20 million Americans are about to lose their health care.

Speaker 7 You know, they've got universal health coverage in Argentina while our health care here in the United States is being ripped away from so many.

Speaker 7 So Trump's asked about soybeans and he goes, you know, I want them to buy soybeans. You know, I used to speak to Xi Jinping all of the time.
Biden never called Xi Jinping. Biden never did Biden this.

Speaker 7 Well, Donald, when former President Biden was the president, China was buying our soybeans at a significantly high rate.

Speaker 7 60% of the sales of our soybean farmers were being sent to China under Biden, but not under you because of your failed trade war against the world.

Speaker 10 Here, play this clip. Korea, China and I will have a really fair and really great trade deal together.
I want them to buy soybeans.

Speaker 10 They stopped buying our soybeans because they thought that was punishment.

Speaker 10 And it is punishment to our farmers, but we're not going to allow that to happen because I made a great trade deal with China, a $50 billion trade deal, and they were great about it.

Speaker 10 They were doing everything that they were supposed to do. And then when Biden came in, you know, I used to call President Xi all the time to say, thank you, or you're not buying enough.

Speaker 10 In other words, they were supposed to buy. Biden, do you think Biden ever called him? I don't think Biden ever called him.
You think Biden lied awake at night thinking about trade with China?

Speaker 7 Then Donald Trump is asked, why did it take you nine months to meet with Prime Minister Al-Benisi?

Speaker 7 You didn't meet with him at the G7 meeting in Canon, although Donald Trump Trump left early and fled that thing immediately and didn't really meet with anyone.

Speaker 7 He blew off meetings with Modi from India and so many other world leaders who were expecting to meet with him.

Speaker 7 And then one of the things the reporter says is, well, is it because you don't like Ambassador Rudd? You don't like, he said, the former prime minister as well of the Labour Party there.

Speaker 7 You don't like that he said negative things about you. And then you'll see how unhinged Donald Trump becomes here.
Play this clip.

Speaker 4 Go ahead.

Speaker 8 There's been concern in Australia that it's taken nine months to get this meeting.

Speaker 8 Have you had any concerns with this administration, with the stance on Palestine, climate change, or even things the ambassador said about you in the past, the Australian ambassador?

Speaker 10 I don't know anything about him. I mean, if you said bad, then maybe he'll like to apologise.
I wrote, I know, did an ambassador say something bad about him?

Speaker 10 Don't tell me.

Speaker 10 Where is he? Is he still working for you? Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 10 You said bad?

Speaker 8 Before I took this position, Mr.

Speaker 10 President, I don't like you either.

Speaker 10 I don't. And I probably never will.
Go ahead.

Speaker 10 No, you won. Go ahead.

Speaker 4 Behind you.

Speaker 7 And then Donald Trump says that the war on Ukraine, Russia's war on Ukraine, doesn't affect the United States in any way. Here, play this clip.

Speaker 10 Unbelievable.

Speaker 10 It's a bloodbath. It's the worst since the Second World War,

Speaker 10 the worst number of people. And, you know, it doesn't affect us in any way.
We don't pay anything because now they pay us for the weapons that they get.

Speaker 10 The NATO is paying us for the weapons, as you know. It doesn't affect, I guess you could say that's a positive thing.
They pay us, but I'm not interested in that. I did straighten it out.

Speaker 7 Then Donald Trump says that he doesn't think that Ukraine can win the war against Russia. He goes, they could still win, but I don't think they're going to win.

Speaker 7 Here, let me show you this clip right here. Mr.

Speaker 11 President, on the war that you haven't solved yet, Ukraine-Russia Ukraine-Russia situation, have you not locked in a meeting?

Speaker 11 And can you explain just a few weeks ago at Angka you said that Ukraine could possibly win the war and

Speaker 10 the territory, but now they could still win it. I don't think they will, but they could still win it.
I never said they would win it. I said they could win.
Anything could happen.

Speaker 10 You know, war is a very strange thing.

Speaker 7 Next, Donald Trump is asked a question about

Speaker 7 China potentially taking over Taiwan, and then Donald Trump and whether the Australia, UK, US, the AUKUS alliance is important in order to be a check against China's potential territorial ambitions and taking over Taiwan.

Speaker 7 To which Donald Trump says, you know, I don't think AUKUS will be needed for that.

Speaker 7 Yes, Taiwan is the apple of Xi Jinping's eye, which is the same expression that Donald Trump uses to talk about Ukraine being the apple of Putin's eye. It's a weird phrasing.
Here, play this clip.

Speaker 4 Mr. Mr.

Speaker 8 President, yeah, your Secretary of War, Pete Hagseth, in his Shangra last speech in, I think it was May, warned about the potential likelihood or threat of President Xi ordering an invasion of Taiwan.

Speaker 8 2027 is also the year that Fleet Base West is supposed to start rotating those US and UK submarines. Do you see AUKUS as a deterrent for China in the Indo-Pacific?

Speaker 10 Yeah, I do. I think it is, but I don't think we're going to need it.

Speaker 10 I think we'll be just fine with China. China doesn't want to do that.
First of all, the United States is the strongest military power in the world by far. It's not even close.
Not even close.

Speaker 10 We have the best equipment. We have the best of everything, and nobody's going to mess with that.
And I don't see that at all with President Xi.

Speaker 10 I think we're going to get along very well as it pertains to Taiwan and others. Now, that doesn't mean it's not the apple of his eye, because probably it is, but I don't see anything happening.

Speaker 10 We have a very good trade relationship. We're going to have a very good, I think when we leave South Korea, could be wrong, but I think we'll end up with a very strong trade deal.

Speaker 10 Both of us will be happy. No, I don't see that happening now.

Speaker 7 And Donald Trump trashes the former Biden administration.

Speaker 7 This is what Donald Trump loves to do on the world stage, trash the former administrations in front of our international allies, or I should say former international allies here. Play this clip.

Speaker 10 We had an incompetent president, but you don't have that anymore.

Speaker 7 Then Donald Trump says that he thinks that China is in trouble and that they're not going to make it. He thinks China's not going to make it.
It's all projection, by the way.

Speaker 7 The United States is in deep trouble right now. Structurally, America is

Speaker 7 pedestal by pedestal, legs of the pedestal. It's cracking our economy.
It's brick by brick by brick right now, is what we're seeing. And actually, China's economy is doing great.

Speaker 7 China's found alternative markets outside of the United States to import from. But this is Donald Trump projecting here.
Play this clip.

Speaker 10 Almost like saying, we don't want to do business with you, but it's probably nicer. Saying you're going to pay 158, 157% tariff is a nicer way of saying that we don't want to do business with you.

Speaker 10 And if they don't do business with us, I think China's in big trouble. I'll be honest with you.
I think China is,

Speaker 10 I don't know that they even make it, I really do. I believe that they're in big trouble, and I don't want them to be in big trouble.
I want them to do great.

Speaker 10 I want them to thrive, but we have to thrive together. It's a two-way street.
I think.

Speaker 7 Then Donald Trump goes on this rant again. Look what I've done.
I've made peace in the Middle East.

Speaker 7 For the first time ever, there's peace in the Middle East, everybody, because I say it's peace in the Middle East. Therefore, it's peace in the Middle East.
Here, play this clip.

Speaker 11 You just alluded to the violence in the Middle East. What steps is the administration taking to maintain the ceasefire activities?

Speaker 10 Well, a lot of steps, and right now it's in the hands of others. You know, we have 59 countries that agreed to the deal.
We have peace in the Middle East for the first time ever.

Speaker 10 We made a deal with Hamas that, you know, they're going to be very good, they're going to behave, they're going to be nice, and if they're not, we're going to go and we're going to eradicate them if we have to.

Speaker 10 They'll be eradicated, and they know that.

Speaker 10 So they went in, they went in, and I don't believe it was the leadership, but they had some rebellion rebellion in there among themselves.

Speaker 10 And they killed some people, you know, pretty a lot of people. But this is a violent group.
You know, you've probably noticed over the last hundred years. This is a very violent group of people.

Speaker 4 And

Speaker 10 they got very rambunctious, and they did things that they shouldn't be doing. And if they keep doing it, then we're going to go in and straighten it out.

Speaker 10 And it'll happen very quickly and pretty violently, unfortunately.

Speaker 7 And look, there's not peace in the Middle East. Bodies of 57 Palestinians brought to Gaza hospitals in the past 27 hours.
Gaza Health Ministry says the humanitarian aid being blocked by Israel.

Speaker 7 Hamas asserting,

Speaker 7 reasserting control over Gaza. Strikes on southern Gaza.
Israel says because they said the Palestinians violated the ceasefire. As I mentioned, you know, there were strikes in Lebanon.

Speaker 7 I mean, in terms of the death count, close to 40 Palestinians have died that that we know of, right, around 40.

Speaker 7 And so

Speaker 7 I don't really see how this is even being called a ceasefire when Biden was able to get 83% of the hostages returned.

Speaker 7 Trump did get some hostages returned, which is something that should be applauded, right? I mean, getting the remaining hostages back is great.

Speaker 7 The idea of a ceasefire, in theory, is a good thing, but when you don't say you support a two-state solution or a free Palestine living next to a free Israel side by side peacefully when you don't require Hamas to disarm,

Speaker 7 when you don't require Israel to recognize a two-state solution. I'm not really sure what we're even talking about here at all.
So you have that.

Speaker 7 And then by the way, in the background of all of this, we learned today that the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service and their military intelligence services have significantly scaled back intelligence sharing with the United States due to ongoing concerns about the reliability and political ships fearing that sensitive information provided to the United States could end up with China or Russia or enemy or the United States who could use it to harm our allies.

Speaker 7 We just know that because that's being announced publicly, but I believe that's what's taking place in Canada and Europe and Australia and elsewhere right now.

Speaker 7 Tell me what you think as well. I'll leave you with this one point right here.
Caroline Levitt, Donald Trump's press secretary, chief propagandist, posted the following.

Speaker 7 This is her text message with a reporter from the Huffington Post who she refers to as a left-wing hack. So the reporter says, is the president aware of the significance of Budapest?

Speaker 7 In 1994, Russia promised in Budapest not to invade Ukraine if it gave up the nuclear weapons it inherited when the Soviet Union dissolved.

Speaker 7 Does he not see why Ukraine might object to that site as a meeting point between Donald Trump and Putin, given the history? Who suggested Budapest was the question by this reporter. Thanks.

Speaker 7 And then Caroline Levitt, who's the White House press secretary, the chief propagandist, her response is, your mom did. And then the reporter says, is this funny to you?

Speaker 7 And then she goes, it's funny to me that you actually consider yourself a journal. You are a far-left hack who nobody takes seriously, including your colleagues in the media.

Speaker 7 This is all that's wrong with this regime. These are amateur losers, baby, no offense to babies behavior.
It's a gross. Who the hell behaves like this?

Speaker 7 These are sick, disgusting, vile, immature human beings.

Speaker 7 These are serious freaking issues of life or death.

Speaker 7 And you see why America is the laughing stock for the world, why the world is both horrified and mocking what the United States has become weaker than ever before under this despicable, vile, grotesque Trump regime.
