Speaker 2 The Trump administration has made fatal error after fatal error regarding our nuclear arsenal, classified information, personnel information, and one has to ask, is it an error? Is it a mistake?

Speaker 2 Trump officials fired nuclear staff, not realizing that they oversee the country's weapon stockpile sources say that's right what happened this past week is the trump officials fired hundreds of people at the national nuclear security administration and then friday they scrambled to try to hire back the people they fired because they didn't realize that this was the team that oversaw America's nuclear weapons.

Speaker 2 Now, you would think if you were making cuts and firing people, I don't know, maybe that would raise a red flag, nuclear security administration.

Speaker 2 I mean, it should all raise a red flag, but maybe that one was like, are these people the people who oversee our nukes? This is the agency tasked with managing the nation's nuclear stockpile.

Speaker 2 And this was part of the broader energy department layoffs where they want to fire basically everybody in the agency.

Speaker 2 Now, if you believe this was mere negligence, that just means that you've also then said, Trump is this brilliant businessman and Elon Musk is so smart. These are the smartest people ever.

Speaker 2 Yet they fire the people who oversee the nukes? You think that's what really happened? That it was just a mere mistake?

Speaker 2 What is it? Did they do it intentionally? Did they just fire everybody and not realize who these people were?

Speaker 2 So of course the Trump administration lies, but their lie is it was less than 50 people, which I think we know to be false because they lie about everything.
