Speaker 5 MAGA Mike, this is your nightmare. As soon as Thanksgiving wraps up, your speakership may be bye-bye.

Speaker 5 Even your wife is giving interviews where she says that you overestimate your own abilities and you think you can accomplish things in timeframes that are absolutely unrealistic.

Speaker 5 It's like your wife is your third grade teacher giving you a report card and mocking you in front of the the world. You are a punchline, MAGA Mike.

Speaker 5 You are pathetic, and people are bringing out the receipts right now, especially as we learn of this MAGA Republican exodus, a mass resignation that may take place over Thanksgiving, according to numerous sources and our own sources here at the Midas Touch Network.

Speaker 5 We've got those receipts, MAGA Mike.

Speaker 5 Like I remember during the government shutdown, every other day you would give an interview where you promised that there would be a health care plan released immediately when the government shutdown ended.

Speaker 5 Remember when you said this on CNN to Caitlin Collins? Because I remember it here, play this clip.

Speaker 7 Is if the government reopened tonight, would Republicans have a plan to address the Obamacare subsidies?

Speaker 6 Yes. Yes.
You could have a plan.

Speaker 6 Yeah, we could have that ready immediately.

Speaker 6 Yes.

Speaker 5 But now, MAGA Mike, right before Thanksgiving, your wife gave an interview with you on the Katie Miller podcast,

Speaker 5 Stephen Miller's wife's podcast, like the 200 people watch. And I guess I'm one of them to get these clips, by the way.

Speaker 5 And Kelly Johnson, MAGA Mike's wife, goes, he always overestimates his abilities to get things done and he underestimates how much time it will take. I swear.

Speaker 5 I think that's what my second grade report card may have said. But you know, you grow out of that phase.
Okay, Magamike here, let's play this clip of his wife. Let's play it.

Speaker 8 What's he most often wrong about?

Speaker 9 Oh dear, do we have enough time?

Speaker 9 How long something's going to take him, I would say.

Speaker 6 So she says I overestimate my ability to

Speaker 9 he overestates his ability to get things done and underestimates maybe how much time it will take.

Speaker 9 So he says, I should be able to do this in 30 minutes, you know, and then here we are two hours later. It's like, yeah, no.

Speaker 5 And she's so right while she humiliates you in front of the world, MAGA Mike.

Speaker 5 Because I also remember when you went on Larry Koodlaw, remember, during the shutdown, and you have a whole notebook full of ideas. Remember that year, play this clip.

Speaker 6 Subsidizing the insurance companies is not the answer because it just drives the cost up even further. So we need to look at the root causes.

Speaker 6 The Republican Party is the party that is working on that, has been working on it, and has more ideas going forward. We've got to bring down the costs.

Speaker 6 And you can do that in a responsible way that also increases access and quality of care. And we've got notebooks full of ideas on how to do that.
We've got to build consensus around it.

Speaker 5 Well, none of those ideas have been presented.

Speaker 5 You have a lot of very vulnerable MAGA Republicans and Republicans in the House right now who are like, can we please extend these Affordable Care Act subsidies?

Speaker 5 Because there's a massive amount of people in our state who are about to be kicked off of health care if we don't extend these subsidies by December 31st.

Speaker 5 They're already getting their letters in the mail right now. And then you have other MAGA Republicans saying, no, you can't give people health care, MAGA Mike.
That's socialism. That's communism.

Speaker 5 How dare we help people stay alive? So utterly pathetic. Here's the headline from the Daily Beast, but we've reported about this here on the Midas Touch Network.

Speaker 5 Punchball News has a good exclusive on this. Raging House Republicans warn of flood of retirement announcements coming.

Speaker 5 And this unnamed senior House Republican tells Punchball News that the moderate members in the House right now are apoplectic. Big word right there.
They're pissed. They're angry.
They're livid.

Speaker 5 They're beyond livid at this point about what MAGA Mike is doing. Every week, it's more censures, public flogging of members, and a massive redistricting strategy that's blowing up in our faces.

Speaker 5 This House Republican Congress member says, the floodgates will be wide open with retirement announcements after holidays with the family. It's a Tinderbox.
Morale has never been lower.

Speaker 5 Mike Johnson will be stripped of his gavel and they will lose the majority before the term is out.

Speaker 5 And by the way, I hate to say this, Marjorie Taylor Greene called it when she was saying, look, MAGA Mike, he doesn't have a health care plan. She goes, it's non-existent.

Speaker 5 Here's what she said on News Nation. Play this clip.

Speaker 10 Mike Johnson is telling us to stay home and not do our job.

Speaker 11 So what does Mike Johnson, like if you were to be able to talk to Mike Johnson right now, you would tell him what?

Speaker 10 Tell him the same thing I told him last week and I yelled at him on the phone on our GOP conference call. What'd you say? Is that is where is our

Speaker 10 health care plan? It's non-existent. Democrats created this problem years ago, but Republicans have never fixed it.

Speaker 10 And I said, we need to be back at work and not being in session is basically pathetic. What did he say to you?

Speaker 10 He gave me the same talking points he gives to the press every single day.

Speaker 5 And should I show more of MAGA Mike just being...

Speaker 5 Oh, what's the right word here? I don't want to say it. Being humiliated by his wife.
We'll just put it that way.

Speaker 5 But MAGA Mike says that his own 15-year-old son is humiliated by him and makes him drop him off blocks away from the school so that nobody sees him and his wife says the kids are embarrassed of MAGA Mike your wife is saying your own children are embarrassed about you here play this clip what's your daily routine like as a family

Speaker 6 it varies right I mean it's yeah we're kind of in triage every day and and every day is different there's no pattern

Speaker 6 for the schedule So everybody has to be very adaptable.

Speaker 9 I will say though that he is now taking, he takes our son to school.

Speaker 9 and so that kind of starts the day and he and our youngest get some good quality time together on the way to school which has been really nice because you know we didn't have that when we were back in Louisiana.

Speaker 6 Of course it's in a motorcade so I have to drop him off a block away from school because he gets embarrassed.

Speaker 9 Yes.

Speaker 9 You don't have that much attention drawn to it.

Speaker 5 When the kids but on a serious note MAGA Mike says that he's never visited a grocery store. That's an interesting admission play this clip.

Speaker 8 So when you became speaker you got a security detail. When's the last time you've gone to CVS, a grocery store?

Speaker 6 Very seldom. Yes.
Because it's such an ordeal.

Speaker 12 You know, I didn't realize how vulnerable my old luggage was until I started traveling more. Seriously, have you ever thought about how easy it is to break into your luggage?

Speaker 12 You're constantly leaving it with hotel staff, airline employees, even sitting alone in the overhead bin. And a ballpoint pen can pierce most luggage zippers in seconds.

Speaker 12 Then you just re-zip it and it looks untouched. That's your passport, your laptop, your meds gone before you even land.
That's why I become obsessed with Noble. I mean, look at this thing.

Speaker 12 If you're watching this video, I've got it right behind me, right here. Noble completely removes the zipper.
It's a zipperless latch lock suitcase that closes like a safe.

Speaker 12 The two halves meet with a tight seal. You literally hear and feel the click when it locks.
It's the first time that I've had zero stress when my bag is out of sight.

Speaker 12 And they fixed everything else that used to drive us all crazy about travel. Built-in charging ports so you're not crouching by a random outlet for 5%.

Speaker 12 A front laptop pocket that makes TSA painless. And my personal favorite, a flip-out cup holder built right into the luggage.
Total game changer when you're juggling a coffee, a water, a boarding pass.

Speaker 12 Plus, the smooth 360-degree wheels make it effortless to roll through the airport. Don't just take my word for it.
Over 500,000 suitcases sold.

Speaker 12 Highest rated luggage brand in the category on TrustPilot. Over 12,000 flight attendants and pilots swear.
by Noble and TSA agents even say it helps prevent theft and tampering.

Speaker 12 Noble's all-in-one carry-on is the durable, safe, advanced luggage you've always dreamed about.

Speaker 12 Every suitcase comes with a 100-day money-back guarantee, free three-day express shipping, and yes, a lifetime warranty. It's the last suitcase you will ever need to buy.

Speaker 12 Noble gives you real travel peace of mind, security, design, and convenience all in one. And for a limited time, Noble is having the biggest sale ever.

After you purchase, they will ask where you heard about them.

Speaker 12 Please support our show and tell them we sent you.

Speaker 5 Then Magamike refers to his job as being like a firefighter. That he goes, I got to put out all of these fires every day.
No,

Speaker 5 you're the arsonist, Trump's the arsonist, the MAGAs are the arsonist, and you ain't the firefighter, you're the arsonist as well. Here, play this clip.

Speaker 8 What's the most annoying part about being a speaker?

Speaker 9 Never, probably no downtime.

Speaker 6 Yeah.

Speaker 9 Hardly any downtime.

Speaker 5 For me, just.

Speaker 6 Oh, that's right. I mean, even when you think like the work of the day is done and you put the phone down, I mean, this would be 11.30 at night.
Ring, ring, what?

Speaker 6 Another crisis. You know, I mean, you're sort of like a firefighter in a way.
You have to put out fires every, you know, every hour.

Speaker 5 And then as we know that, what, over the past, what is it, 130 days, the Republicans have worked, what, 12 days? They've worked like 12 days, 12 of 120, basically.

Speaker 5 But Meg and Mike says, I've never taken a day of vacation. Watch Meghan Mike say this, play this clip.

Speaker 6 I haven't had a vacation day in two years. I haven't been off in two years, literally.
So it really does. Not on Christmas Day, right?

Speaker 6 Not on Christmas Day, but even then, even then, last Christmas, I'm taking calls from members with their drama.

Speaker 5 Well, Meg and Mike, I do remember when you would go on Fox State Regime Media during the shutdown while you were on vacation and you would say and you would say that you have a health care plan but it's like it's highly classified information your health care plan and you can't share it on conference calls with anybody here play this clip so another thing that happened this weekend is open enrollment began for Obamacare people are seeing a change in their premiums essentially if these subsidies that are set to expire at the end of the year are not changed renewed handled in some way last time you were here we talked about Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene who had some real frustrations about this.

Speaker 7 Where is the Republican plan? I know you two had talked. Well, she posted this on X this week.

Speaker 7 She says, Johnson said he's got ideas and pages of policy ideas and committees of jurisdiction are working on it, but he refused to give one policy proposal to our GOP conference on our own conference call.

Speaker 7 Apparently, I have to go into a SCIF, referencing a protected intel. sharing type place to find out the Republican health care plan.
And there are a lot of exclamation points there.

Speaker 6 Yeah.

Speaker 6 I don't know what to say about that. I mean, that's absurd.

Speaker 6 Obviously, we're not going to be on a conference call explaining all of our plans and strategies for health care reform because they're leaked in real time.

Speaker 6 Literally, when I have a conference call with all my members, it's tweeted out by a journalist. They're supposed to be private, but they're not.
And so Marjorie knows that.

Speaker 6 She knows she can come into my office any day at any hour and I'll lay out everything for her.

Speaker 6 The committees of jurisdiction, the people who specialize in all of this, have been working on this around the clock for a long time.

Speaker 6 In fact, we published 60 or 70 pages of healthcare reform ideas in 2019 when I was the chair of the Republican Study Committee, the largest caucus in Congress.

Speaker 6 Our ideas have been out there for a long time. We're formulating the final plan that will bring down premiums.
There's only one party in America that is going to do that.

Speaker 5 But, MAGA Mike,

Speaker 5 I thought you never took vacations. What are you talking about?

Speaker 5 And then I love this part of the interview on the Katie Miller podcast that nobody watched but me to get you these clips, which is MAGA Mike's wife, Kelly, says that she was so surprised that her loser husband actually became the speaker.

Speaker 5 It's like,

Speaker 5 shocked me. He's a loser.
She doesn't say that he's a loser. I'm saying that, but that's the implication, I think.

Speaker 5 Here play this clip.

Speaker 7 So with that,

Speaker 8 you essentially went from being a regular member from just a district in Louisiana to being speaker practically overnight. What was that adjustment like for your family?

Speaker 8 Like flying up here when he was getting sworn in, right? If you go back in time, it all felt very rushed and not something I don't believe you guys prepared for.

Speaker 9 Oh, no, not at all. In fact,

Speaker 9 it was such a surprise that I wasn't even here for it.

Speaker 9 As I told him, I said, we don't know what's going to happen. I mean, we've already seen what's already happened.
And so I'm just, I'm not going to, I'm not going to come up there.

Speaker 9 And then, so I missed it. But yeah, our lives changed overnight.

Speaker 9 And we, we were not prepared for it,

Speaker 9 but we've just been taking it one day at a time and

Speaker 9 we are adjusting finally. We are finally getting used to it.

Speaker 5 And then, of course, you had Magamike as the government shutdown was winding down, saying that he was not committed to bringing up any deals to save Obamacare or extend the subsidies. Play this clip.

Speaker 13 There are a lot of ideas that we'd like to bring back to the table because that will actually solve the problem and not just subsidize insurance companies.

Speaker 13 So you're not committing to bringing up a bill that deals with the Obamacare subsidies before they expire? I'm not committing to it or not committing to it.

Speaker 13 What I'm saying is that we do a deliberative process. That's the way this always works, and we have to have time to do that, and we will in a bipartisan fashion.

Speaker 13 If something passes the Senate, it would only pass on a bipartisan basis.

Speaker 13 Would you bring it up?

Speaker 13 Well, the bill that's going to pass is the same. So we know to extend the subsidies, that later vote.
I can't commit to anything that hasn't even passed through the Senate yet.

Speaker 13 I mean, I've never done that. I'm very consistent.
I've been Speaker for over two years, and one of the reasons I've held them caval is because I don't go out and predetermine outcomes.

Speaker 13 It's a member-driven institution as it should be. And I'm really insistent about that.
We got to get back to regular order and that's what we're doing.

Speaker 5 And then you have Donald Trump on Air Force One as he was heading to Mar-a-Lago to go on another taxpayer-funded vacation, four days, five, what is he? He left on what? Tuesday?

Speaker 5 And so he's been there Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and maybe longer. And Donald Trump has asked, so are you planning to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies?

Speaker 5 Because let's be real, Americans need this to be extended because otherwise they're going to get kicked off of their health insurance.

Speaker 5 People are waiting to buy insurance from the exchanges, the ACA exchanges. At this point, you see like California, 35, 40%

Speaker 5 down in purchasing of health care plans. But across the country, 20%, 25%, 15%.

Speaker 5 People are waiting to see if these ACA subsidies get extended. Otherwise, they'll lose health care, and then if they get sick, they die.
It's not a good situation.

Speaker 5 So, Trump, right before Thanksgiving, can you show compassion, Donald, and just say you want to do it? He goes, nope. Why would we do that? I don't want to extend the subsidies.
Here, play this clip.

Speaker 5 I'd rather not.

Speaker 14 Somebody said I want to extend them for two years. I don't want to extend them for two years.
I'd rather not extend them at all.

Speaker 14 Maybe some kind of an extension may be necessary to get something else done. Because the Unaffordable Care Act has been a disaster.
It's a disaster. And I said it was when it first got put in.

Speaker 14 Unfortunately, we lost a couple of Republican votes, and the Democrats voted for it. It's a Democrat plan.

Speaker 14 And the premiums are going up, and it's the Democrats' fault. But, you know, they are negotiating with me.
It's very interesting. They want to see something happen.
Who are you talking to about this?

Speaker 14 I can't tell you, but we have a lot of Democrats want this plan to happen. They would love to see the money go to the people and the people go out and get their own health care.

Speaker 14 And there would be nothing like it.

Speaker 5 Well, there you have it, folks. Let me know what you think.
