Donald Trump was asked a very simple question, though.

Speaker 4 Look, you promised Americans you would try to reduce costs. And then Donald Trump lies and says tariffs don't cause inflation.
Okay, they absolutely do cause inflation.

There could be some temporary short-term disruption, and people will understand that.
