President Trump ran and won on mass deportations. Now the establishment media are claiming that President Trump isn't even deporting as many illegal aliens as Joe Biden.

What are the numbers? The Libs are saying that Trump isn't even doing as good a job on deportations as Joe Biden did. Joe Biden was probably the worst open borders president we have ever had in our country's history.
Well, here are the real numbers. According to Customs and Border Protection, only 359 illegal aliens are being processed daily across the southern border.
That means that in just the first few weeks of the Trump administration, of the second Trump administration, illegal border crossings are down 90%. Those are the numbers.
90% drop since Trump was inaugurated. That is 90% down from the same time last year.
According to Mark Krikorian, who's the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, he says, if you kind of break down the numbers, we haven't had numbers this low since the 1960s. But according to Newsweek, Newsweek is saying that the numbers aren't that good.
They're saying, according to publicly accessible data, Joe Biden's numbers were actually better than Trump's. This doesn't make any sense.
Now, Daily Wire has then done a

fact check of Newsweek's fact check of the immigration numbers. And the problem is that Newsweek is lumping in repatriations, people who were turned away at the border who never made it into America.
So they're comparing apples to oranges here. Doesn't really check out.
When you actually look at Joe Biden's numbers, Biden removed just

under 48,000 illegal aliens in all of fiscal year 2024. And that was the most that Joe Biden had

ever removed. And that is nothing.
President Trump is on pace to vastly exceed that.

Now, this has to turn us back to another piece of fake news, not just the left-wing media trying to pretend that Trump's numbers aren't as good as Biden's. This needs to bring us back to fake news at the end of the campaign over the summer and in the early fall of last year.
Remember, we were told that the Democrats really, really wanted to deal with the border crisis. They just needed a bill to do

it. You remember this? We have a border bill.
We want to get that border bill passed, but that mean old Donald Trump, who's not a member of Congress, but he's calling up members of Congress. He's telling them to vote against this.
If only we had that border bill, then we could take on the crisis of illegal immigration, the mass inflow of people across our southern border. But Trump didn't have a bill.
It's not like the Congress passed some border bill since Trump was inaugurated. Trump is dealing with the same law, the same statutes that Joe Biden was dealing with.
So why is it that Trump was able to knock the numbers down by 90% in just a few weeks on the job? Because Joe Biden never needed a border bill. So for the left and the squish Republicans, I remember at the time I was catching so much flack because I said, this is ridiculous.
We have immigration laws on the books. You just need the executive to enforce the immigration laws already there.
House Republicans certainly should not vote for this stupid border bill. One, it would make the border crisis worse.
But two, even if we could pretend that it was going to improve the border crisis, the fact that the Democrats would not enforce the laws that are already on the books means we have no reason to believe they would enforce some new immigration law that we passed. You don't need the border bill.
You can just enforce the law if you want to do it, which the Democrats did not want to do.

And now we have proof positive of that.

90% drop in just a few weeks.

One hopes a good sign of even better things to come.

Now, speaking of migration, really, really sad news out of Germany yesterday.

An Afghani asylum seeker drove his car into a crowd of people in Munich, injuring 28 people, including children. This days before the Munich Security Conference, at which J.D.
Vance is supposed to speak. J.D.
Vance just got in hot water for wading in to the issue of immigration and pointing out that traditionally, Christianity understands an order of charity, that we have particular responsibilities to those who are closest to us, to our families, those in our local communities, to our co-religionists, to our countrymen. And we need to make sure that we take care of them because if we totally ignore their needs and their safety and their concerns, and we give all of our charity to people on the other side of the world that we don't really know, that would actually be a perversion of charity.
That was his argument. He cited the Ordo Amoris and the scholastic Christian tradition.
Well, this is a good example of this. Because the German government in particular, but Europe broadly, and including America, the whole West, has prioritized the supposed needs of others, people from far-flung nations around the world, people of dubious ideologies of different religions.
They've brought them all in there, and it's led to rape gangs throughout Europe and the UK. It's led to stabbings.
It's led to mass murder. It's led to multiple attacks by the same kinds of people always on big markets in Europe.
Now, just before the security conference, you have an Afghani asylum seeker who mows down a crowd of people. It's always the ones you most expect.
Seems to prove JD's point. And it's important, I think, that this guy was an asylum seeker because a lot of this debate over migration hinges on the asylum seekers, the people who are supposedly seeking refuge.
Okay. In America, we can say, well,

actually the vast majority of illegal aliens are not asylum seekers, you know, fleeing violence or something. They're actually just economic migrants who realize they can make more money in the United States.
So they're going to break our laws to do it. And there's very, very little argument to take those people in.
But what about the asylum seekers? Well, look, this guy, allegedly, who just mowed down a crowd of people in Germany, he was an asylum seeker. But he obviously should not have been permitted into the country.
It was a dereliction of the German government's duty toward its own citizens to let this guy in. It means that our leaders need discernment to decide who can and who cannot come in.
There is a novel suggestion

that Christianity means we need totally open borders. There's this novel suggestion that it is immoral or intrinsically evil to point out that breaking immigration law makes one a criminal.
But that has never been the case in the West. And great evils can come from neglecting our duties toward our own citizens.
Now, speaking of Muslim terrorists, there is a story out of USAID. Elon is uncovering stuff that you would not believe.
There's so much more to say. First, though, go to livegood.com slash Michael.
We all take supplements, or at least we all think in the back of our mind that we should. But why are so many supplement companies charging ridiculous prices for products that are not that special? It's frustrating, and it's downright unacceptable.
So I recently discovered LiveGood. They offer premium quality products without the ridiculous markups.
I would recommend in particular the essential oils and hydration pack, especially the hydration pack, having come off this little sickness that I've got right now. Very, very helpful.
They've got everything. They've got everything from organic super greens and multivitamins to collagen, even skincare, all top quality stuff at prices that will not break the bank.
There's a reason they're the fastest growing supplement brand out there with over one and a half million satisfied customers. You ready to make the switch? We'll make it easy for you.
Save an additional 10% off on top of their already low prices. Livegood.com slash Michael, 10% off your first order.

Speaking of Muslim terrorists, not only are we subsidizing the lifestyles of Muslim terrorists, inviting them into our countries, we're also apparently funding their education. There's a new report out that shows that the U.S.
Agency for International Development, USAID, which Elon Musk and President Trump have shut down, provided full funding for Anwar al-Awlaki to attend Colorado State University in 1990. Full funding.
Did you get full funding from the government for your college education? Some people maybe did. Probably you did not.
Well, your mistake was you weren't a leader of al-Qaeda because Anwar al-Awlaki, who had a pretty serious leadership role in Al-Qaeda, who had connections to 9-11 hijackers, who had contact with that army psychiatrist, Nadal Hassan, before Hassan killed 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009.

Remember that shooting?

He knew all these people.

And he had his college education funded by the U government, by USAID in particular. Really scandalous stuff.
However, good on, well, this was reported by Pamela Brown, but good on the Doge team and everyone who's looking into USAID for finding this.

USAID is the gift that keeps on giving because the Democrats have used that to fund all of their little pet projects

and all of their broadly anti-American schemes.

I mean, frankly, the fact that this guy went to an American public university in the last 30 years actually probably explains how he became an anti-American terrorist. That's kind of what you sign up for when you go to an American university these days.
But the fact that every time you look further into USAID, you find something more egregious, more ridiculous, puts President Trump and Elon Musk in a really good political position here. There is very little to defend in USAID.
I'm not saying there's nothing, but there's very, very little. And even the stuff that is defensible has been tainted by leftist accoutrement that have attached to those policies.
What are we going to find next? Did USAID grow Bin Laden in a petri dish or something? Now, we know for a fact that USAID is going to dubious figures, not only Muslim terrorists, but also just liberal nonsense all around the world. You remember Rory Stewart.
I mentioned Rory Stewart last week. Rory Stewart is this British politician turned Yale University professor.
I think he's one of the teachers of grand strategy at Yale now, who picked a fight with J.D. Vance over J.D.
Vance's stance on immigration and his invocation of the Ordo Amoris. And Rory Stewart claimed that this was not Christian, and he pontificated without much knowledge of the Bible or of

Christianity. of the Ordo Amoris, and Rory Stewart claimed that this was not Christian, and he pontificated without much knowledge of the Bible or of Christian tradition.
He was really, really upset at the Trump administration. Well, got to give a hat tip to a muse here.
I'm beginning to understand a little bit why Rory Stewart seems to have such a personal grudge against the Trump administration. Here is Rory Stewart explaining his connection to USAID.
Stopped. Doesn't matter.
You have a contract. So, you know, Turquoise Mountain, which my wife Shoshana runs, has a contract, had another million dollars to go.
Money just stops. Hold on.
Wait, there's a contract between some organization and USAID, and the contract stopped. And hold on, his wife ran that organization, and they were supposed to get another million dollars, another million dollars from the U.S.
government, and that just stopped? Well, what organization does his wife run? It's called the Turquoise Mountain Foundation. And you can't make this up.
The Turquoise Mountain Foundation exists to teach Afghani peasants about degenerate modern art.

So this is in some ways often called the first piece of conceptual art.

Does anyone know what it is?

I don't expect the ladies to know. Kamouras, Kamouras.
Toilets. Exactly.
An artist called Marcel Duchamp, who's very important in Western art, put this toilet in an art gallery about 100 years ago. It was a huge revolution.
That's where your money's gone. Your money is going, or was going, until Trump got hold of it.
To pay off the wives of British politicians turned Yale professors. To teach Afghanis, who probably have more important things on their mind about how perverse western anti-artists decided to pretend that urinals and toilets were you know caravaggio paintings in the early 20th century that's where your money's going we don't have money to rebuild north Carolina after the hurricane, but we need to pay off the wives of British politicians to teach Afghanis about urinals that perverts pretended were art in the 20th century.
Very few things make me angry, but this is making me really, really angry. What a huge, not just waste of money, what corruption, what

bad judgment, what perversion. Oh man, USAID.
The more the libs protest the USAID cuts,

the more supportive normal taxpayers get of USAID cuts. I guess this is what should not make me angry.
This should make me happy about USAID. Pointing to USAID as examples of government waste, it is like shooting fish in the barrel.
And every time the Dems try to defend this stuff, they look worse and Republicans look better and our chances of winning a third through 30th term for President Trump go up and up and up. Now, speaking of the Commonwealth, we turn from the UK over to America's evil top hat Canada.
President Trump just referred to the leader of Canada in a way that raised some eyebrows from the Oval Office. There was obviously a delay in implementing those tariffs.
I spoke to Governor Trudeau on numerous occasions, and we'll see what happens. But it just sets up so good for them.
Look, the people would pay much less tax than they're paying right now that have perfect military protection. They don't have any military protection because they essentially because, and you take a look at what's going on out there.
You have Russian ships, you have China ships, you have Chinese ships, you have a lot of ships out there. And, you know, people are in danger.
This is a different world today. It's a different world that they need our protection.
Yes. The entire purpose of that answer, You can see even President Trump sort of stumbles at the end there.
And I don't think he's stumbling because he doesn't know about China's and Russia's various military positions. I think he's stumbling a little bit because he's laughing at his own joke that he made earlier.
And he straight faced it perfectly because the guy's a showbiz genius. But the line he goes, well, I've spoken to Governor Trudeau on a number of occasions, and he doesn't wink at it.
Sometimes Trump leans into the joke a little bit too much, and he kind of tips his hand. But here, just totally straight-faced, yeah, yeah, no, I've spoken to Governor Trudeau.
Yeah, the 51st state, you know, because they don't have any military protection. They don't have any trade.
They're completely dependent on us. Essentially, is what he says.
Because, you know, Canada has a military. Their military helped us out in the global war on terror.
And they do have some industry and they do trade with us a little bit. But Trump's point still stands.
America effectively provides the defense for Canada. America is the reason that Canada has an economy.
Canada is an appendage of the United States. It's our evil top hat.
And Trump is going to keep needling. I think he literally would like to acquire Canada, which would make sense, probably Washington's greatest mistake that he didn't take Canada.
But just the nickname alone, of all the nicknames, low energy Jeb, crooked Hillary, Lion Ted, all of the nicknames, this is his masterpiece. The subtlety of it, the dig, the audacity.
Governor Trudeau, that is Trump's nickname masterpiece. Ron DeSanctimonious.
They're all good. They're all kind of funny.
They're all Governor Trudeau. There's so much more to say.

My favorite comment yesterday is from Miss Megan 3694, who says the Associated Press also dictated that we must capitalize black and lowercase white when referring to people. Sickening.
Yeah, the AP is fake news. They should be kicked out of the White House.
President Trump kicked them out of an Oval Office briefing, which is great. I love that.
But they are really probably the worst offenders of fake news in the entire briefing room. They put the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, put them all to shame, especially because the AP pretends to be just totally non-biased.
It's the newswire. It's totally legit.
And then what? Then they have radical views and style guides on transgenderism, on race, on ideology, on the very word woke. Yeah, kick him out.
Get him out of there. Speaking of President Trump's comments from the Oval Office, you might recall, I played this clip yesterday.
President Trump was asked about Hamas's decision to stop releasing hostages, thereby compromising the ceasefire

deal in the Middle East. Here was President Trump's response to Hamas.

Mr. President, when you say all hell is going to break loose, are you speaking

about retaliation? You'll find out, and they'll find out too. Hamas will find out what I mean.

Mr. President, they're going to find out what I mean.
These are sick people, and they'll find out what I mean. They're going to find out what I mean.
These are sick people and they'll find out what I mean Saturday at 12. They'll find out what I mean.
You don't need to find out. I don't need to explain to you.
They're going to find out what I mean. If they don't honor their obligations, their promise that they made not just to Israel, but to the United States, they're going to find out what happens when you cross the United States.
You said there's going to be hell to pay. Yeah, yeah.
They're going to find out what that means. Well, guess what? 24 hours or so after those comments, Hamas is releasing more hostages.
What do you know? What do you know? That's amazing. I made the point yesterday on the show.
If I were running Hamas, I probably would release some more hostages. Because President Trump does not look like a guy who's bluffing there.
And because in this case, he can't be bluffing. Trump's foreign policy genius is his unpredictability.

He talks like a dove. He criticizes all the wars in the Middle East.
He wants to pull out. He wants to allow other powers to exercise some of their traditional sphere of influence.
In that way, he's really dovish. And then he'll drop the Moab.
he'll talk about how we don't want Ukraine and NATO and how Putin is not the worst guy in the world and how we need to be able to work together. And he seems really dovish.
And then he'll assassinate the top Iranian general. And then he'll go hug Kim Jong-un.
But then he keeps people on their toes, which is why, to use the Putin example, it's why Putin did not invade further into Ukraine during Trump's first term. It's why Trump's first term was the only term of the last 20, 25 years now, during which Putin did not further invade another country because he just can't take that risk.
Here, President Trump says, they're going to find out what I think, and they're going to find out at noon on Saturday. So with such specificity,

he is telegraphing here, I ain't bluffing, because I'll look bad if I don't follow through.

So anyway, I'm glad that Hamas came to their senses. They don't have a ton of sense, but they came to their senses here.
That's good. That's called peace through strength.

That's the real implementation of peace through strength. The neocons pretend that peace through

strength means invading every country on the face of the earth and lighting up the Middle East and trying to build Madisonian democracies. That's not what Ronald Reagan meant by peace through strength.
Don't forget, after the Beirut barracks bombings, what did Reagan do? He pulled out. Okay, peace through strength is a little bit more nuanced than just shock and awe and invading every country on earth.
But you do have to back up the threat sometimes. And I think Hamas realized that it was not, they did the calculation, they said it was not worth calling President Trump's bluff here.
Now, speaking of death threats, comedian Bill Burr says that billionaires need to be picked off like rats. People that are struggling out there because of these billionaires.
And they got us all arguing liberal and conservative. We got to stop doing that.
I am so tired of hearing about people going to bed worried about what's going to happen next week.

There is so much money in this country.

And there's so much work being done.

You know, then if you work a full week at a job, you should be able to pay your rent.

You shouldn't have to go out and get a job and still be struggling. It's bad for the country.
Because then the kids don't see their parents and they're not getting the upbringing that they need. It's so at least these billionaires.
They need to be put down. you know, like rabid dogs.

They're like rabid with greed and just going out and just dividing everybody.

Now, Bill Burr has been trending left in recent years.

I think he's pretty funny, pretty funny guy, but he's been trending left, unfortunately.

I don't know why. I don't know what's been pulling him lib in recent years.

But the reason that people are struggling right now in particular in this economy is inflation. And the reason that we see inflation is not because of the billionaires.
It's because politicians printed too much money because they were buying votes. That's why.
It's really not the billionaires. I'm not even a big defender of most billionaires.
Most billionaires are huge libs and I don't feel any need to defend them because they undermine my vision of the country consistently. But fair is fair.
This is not the billionaire's fault. Inflation is not the billionaire's fault, okay? I was with him on a lot of what he was saying.
It's crazy that kids don't get to see their parents because their parents are working so much. I agree.
I think that's terrible. I think we need a fundamental change to our political economy.
The fact that women are expected to work a job now for a wage, that's bad. Mommy should be able to stay home with the kids if she wants.
For many women, that's not the case. I agree.
I think there are a lot of problems. I think the inflation is out of control.
That's a political problem. It's not just a billionaire problem.
I guess what's wrong about what Bill Burr is saying here is it's a leftist analysis of the situation that makes the mistake that leftists, including Karl Marx, up to and including Karl Marx, often do, which is that he mistakes man for a fundamentally economic creature and man is not a

fundamentally economic creature. We are not just defined by our money.
We are not motivated purely or even primarily by money. Man is, is, is more than that.
Our politics is not defined fundamentally by material divides and by classes of material wealth. There's just more going on.
Ideas have force in the world. Even all the other stuff that leftists sometimes talk about, race has force in the world.
Sex has force in the world. Great power struggles have force in the world.
It's so reductive and just wrong, just stupid. So it's the billionaires.
I mean, there are plenty to blame billionaires for, some billionaires, not all billionaires, okay? Who are you talking to, you people? But there's plenty to blame some billionaires for. But this isn't it.
I don't know. I don't know what's gotten into Bill Burr.
Now, speaking of celebs, big breaking news. There's a report out now.
Kanye and his wife, Bianca, are reportedly headed for divorce. this according to the daily mail just 11 days after kanye strutted his wife out to the grammys

and had her strip nude and make an obscene display on the red carpet, followed by all the Hitler posting and the porn posting on X. And 11 days later, reportedly they're headed for a divorce.
You know, if those kids can't make it, is there really any hope for the rest of us? I don't, hmm. I almost didn't bring this story up because I said, I want to just engage in trashy celebrity tabloid gossip, certainly.
You know, maybe this is a private affair. But then actually I thought, no, this isn't a private matter.
Not just because Kanye is a celebrity, but because marriage is not a private matter. Now, there are questions about the validity.
I actually don't even know if these two were officially married. It's kind of unclear when you look it up online.
And then if you consider marriage as a sacramental act, then probably none of these people have really been married because Kim Kardashian had been married twice before she married Kanye, and then they had the divorce, and the whole thing is just very sad. However, marriage itself, sacramental or just as a natural institution, is not a private act.
It's not a private union. And actually, so many of our cultural problems today, in particular pertaining to marriage and the family and children, arise from our misunderstanding of marriage as something just kind of private.
You know, it's just a private act of consenting adults and it has nothing to do with you. That is not what marriage has been.
Marriage is the fundamental political unit. When you get married, you make public professions that you will be faithful, that you will stay in this union.
You make those professions to God. You make them before a minister.
You typically make them before the public. Then you register with the government and often with the church, but it's public.
And it's public because marriage is intrinsically a public institution, because marriage is ordered toward the creation of new people

and the future generation of all of society.

Okay?

So we do have to take this as a public matter.

We do have the right to talk about it.

We do have the right to discourage the breakdown of marriages.

Marriage is not just about you.

And the view that it is is a sign of the selfishness of our culture, which is why we are now a dying culture. Psoriatic arthritis symptoms can be unpredictable.

Hey, Michael.

I'd really love some relationship advice.

So I'm 23, and I've been with my boyfriend for like seven months now. We are best friends for years.
I love him. He's such a good, kind, sweet Catholic, but I am not at all attracted to him.
Never have been like romantically or anything. And he's been in love with me since first sight.
So I'm autistic. I'm really bad at reading people.
I've had awful judgment towards men and friends in the past. I don't trust my judgment, but he's proven himself to be reliable and stable.
And I know he'd give me a good life. He'd be a good dad.
He'd be a good husband and stuff. But I'm a hopeless romantic.
And it's high key depressing to imagine completely giving up on that dream and never falling in love. And I know women have married for security and stuff for centuries, and that worked for them.
So I don't know what to do. I'd really miss him.
I love him. I don't want to lose him.
But any advice would be helpful. Please pray for me.
And thank you so much. Have a great day.
Okay. Well, tough problem that you find yourself in because until that very last line there, I thought you were really just asking me for permission to break up with your boyfriend.
Because what you're saying is, look, I'm not attracted to him at all. Not physically, not romantically.
I don't love him. Like, I want to fall in love with someone.
That's what you said, right? I still don't want to give up that dream. It's very depressing to even think about marrying him.
So, all right, then you're just asking me for permission to break up with your boyfriend. Sure, break up with your boyfriend.
You're 23, it's fine. He loves you.
You don't like him that much. That's fine.
But then at the end, you said, but I really don't want to lose him. I love him.
He's great. Well, hold on.
Now I'm confused. If you break up with him, you're going to lose him.
You're not going to stay friends. Okay.
So if you're willing to do that, I think it's fine. I don't think you need to settle for what you view as a highly depressing marriage.
Certainly not at age 23. At a later age, perhaps it is time to get some of your fantasies out of your head and maybe settle for something that's imperfect.
But you're 23 years old. You can play the field a little bit.
It's okay. But at the very least, you need to be aware when you break up with him.
It sounds like you can break up with him. When you break up with him, he's gone.
You're not going to remain friends. That's not how it works.
So if you're willing to do that, because you think, look, I gave it a good shot. I know on paper, the guy, he's a nice guy, but I just want, I don't know, I want a hunk or something.
Okay. That's your right.
I think physical attraction is important in a marriage because sex is important in a marriage. It's like one of the defining features of marriage.
So if you're right, I think physical attraction is important in a marriage because sex is important in a marriage. You know, it's like one of the defining features of marriage.
So if you're really just like repulsed by this guy physically, or he just doesn't do anything for you, then that's important. You know, you're not just hiring a roommate here.
You are getting married. So that matters.
But be aware, you will lose him. He's out of your life once you break up with him.
Which is like, all right, that happens, you know. They say that breaking up is hard to do.
Oh, so hard to do. Okay, next question.
Mr. Knowles, in honor of your recent Music Monday with The Weeknd, I wanted to ask if you've ever found yourself placing your wife too high on a pedestal next to the Almighty.

In my collegiate years of debauchery and groping in the darkness, I prayed for the blessing that is my beautiful wife. And in the fullness of his time, God blessed me with her and now two beautiful children.
She has led me back to my faith, and we have grown stronger for it. However, there are times that I feel a pull mentally to place her higher than my Savior, or just below Him.
I wonder if I am starting to worship her more than I am God. Am I doing something wrong? If so, how would you suggest one course correct? May our Almighty Father continue to be a blessing in your life.
Okay, no, I've not had that problem with my wife. Though I love my wife as much as is possible for a husband to love his wife.
But I've not had that problem of confusing my wife for God, because I love my real wife. it's not just that I love the idea of my wife or some mistaken conception of my wife or some kind of poetic tool of my wife.
I mean, what you're describing kind of reminds me of Dante writing about Beatrice, who he doesn't place higher than God, but she is a kind of Christ figure who plays this role in his salvation. But Beatrice is this woman that he met twice in his whole life, and she died very young.
He met her when they were nine or something. So Beatrice is more an idea for Dante than a real flesh and blood human being.
And that sounds like what's happening with your wife. Your wife is kind of an idea for you.
You're considering this idol rather than the actual human being who's before you. So I don't, yeah, I don't have that problem because I've, maybe it's because you say you've met your wife later or whatever.
I've known my wife since we were 11 years old. And so I love my wife so much because I know who she really is so well.
And so I don't confuse her for God. I know my wife is sweet little Elisa, and I love sweet little Elisa.
And that allows me to love her in an appropriate way, knowing that I'm her husband. And she's my wife.'m not, yeah, I'm not going to confuse her for God or anything like that.
It just seems like you need to pay more attention to your wife, who your wife really is, and love her appropriately. Because if you make an idol out of your wife or something, if you become King Simp or something like that, you know, that won't be good for her, that won't be good for you.
It will just really pervert the order of love, actually, to use a popular phrase of the last two weeks. That would be a corruption of the ordo amoris.
Next question. Smokey Mike, Bible question for you.
I was at a Bible study one day with some friends and we got on the topic of

Jewish tradition and sacrifices being made. And obviously as a Christian, I'm fully aware and I know that Jesus Christ was sent and was our final sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.
but where in Scripture does it point to the Jews ever giving up their sacrifices of cows and sheep and doves and pigeons? Obviously, Jesus' parents sacrificed a couple of pigeons after he was born, as was necessary with the Jewish. But after that, you never hear of sacrifices being made again.
So that's my question. When did Jews and the Jewish tradition stop animal sacrifices for the atonement of their sins? Thanks.
The destruction of the second temple. This is one of those questions that actually has a very simple answer.
It's with the destruction of the second temple, because there are three types of laws in the Old Testament. Sometimes people will ask, why do Christians not practice all of the laws from the Old Testament? I thought, you know, Christ came not to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.
Not a jot or tittle will pass until all is completed. Well, you have to look at the type of law in the Old Testament.
There are moral laws, which are eternal and enduring. There are liturgical laws, laws pertaining to the worship of God, temple worship.
But those liturgical laws are fulfilled and transformed in the new covenant. But also, they literally can't continue to take place because the temple was destroyed in 70 AD.
And then there are juridical laws pertaining to the political organization of the ancient Israelites, which also is ripped apart as the ancient Israelites are scattered by the Roman Empire. So you see a new fulfillment of those laws in the new covenant, in the liturgical practices of the church, our Lord rebuilding the temple on the third day in his own body, and then through his church.
And then the moral laws, of course, endure eternally, but that's why. There ain't no temple to sacrifice the goats in anymore.
Okay, next question. Hi, Michael.
My name is Sarah. I am a stay-at-home mom of three young kids in Wisconsin.
And my question is, how does sweet little Lisa deal with your sweet children when you are traveling? My husband travels a handful of times throughout the year, and it is rather challenging to handle the sweet darlings with no man around the house. So I'm just wondering if you have any tips or tricks for how you work through those times.
That would be great. Thanks.
Well, I suppose I should connect you with sweet little Elisa because I'm usually away during these times, but it's difficult because I travel a lot. I give a lot of speeches.
I go to a lot of political events. I do a lot of film projects.
And so I'm on the road a fair bit. And sweet little Elisa, it's not like we have a lot of family in Tennessee.
We don't have any family in Tennessee. But she makes do.
She's a good woman, that sweet little Elisa. That's how she makes do.
But it ain't easy. It isn't easy.
So if you find yourself pulling your hair out or something or having the kids just ready to make you run through a wall. Just know that's normal.

That's normal. And if your husband's only on the road a few times a year, you're relatively lucky compared to those of us who are on the road once a week or sometimes.
That can be rough. But if you're going through it a little bit, that's okay.
That's normal. That's part of it.

Okay, because there has been such major debate, If you're going through it a little bit, that's okay. That's normal.
That's part of it.

Okay.

Because there has been such major debate, even religious debate, over this issue of deportation,

I've decided to assemble an expert panel with a priest, a Protestant, and a progressive reverend.
