Merging Faith, Business, and Generosity with Larry and Staci Wallace | #Success - Ep. 33

37m
What happens when you stop chasing money… and start building a business around calling, purpose, and peace?

In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I sit down with Larry and Staci Wallace, founders of Fueled by Fire and two of the most faith-driven entrepreneurs I’ve ever met. Their story isn’t just inspiring… It’s wild!!

They once gave up everything (yes, everything) in obedience to a prompting from God… and what happened next will challenge the way you think about success, giving, and what's really driving your business.

Whether you're a faith-based founder or just feeling the pull toward something more, this conversation goes deep into the purpose behind your profits.

Key Highlights:

The story of how Larry and Staci gave away everything… And what God did next

How they teach CEOs to shift from chasing revenue to building legacy through generosity

Why they believe peace - not success - is the new metric that matters

The “D.O.G.E.” framework they use to help business owners scale with operational and spiritual integrity

How they tie every offer to a mission, and require their clients to do the same

Why your calling is your business (and how to finally merge the two)

Their bold approach to faith-first decision making… Even when it makes zero financial sense

This isn't your typical business, sales, and marketing podcast episode. It's about building companies that honor your values, serve others, and still scale to 8-figures and beyond.

If you've ever felt the tension between business and belief, Larry and Staci will help you see how your funnel can become a force for good.

Speaker 5 That's sellingonline.com slash podcast.

Speaker 5 This is the Russell Brunson show.

Speaker 5 What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the show. I'm here today with two of my newer friends.
I've been having so much fun over the last three or four months hanging out with them.

Speaker 5 They joined my Atlas group. And now we're here at Inner Circle.
And I wanted to pull them aside because it's just been fun watching them from afar.

Speaker 5 Obviously, learning more about them and their businesses. I thought they had some really unique things that they're doing.
It'd be fun to share with you guys as a whole.

Speaker 5 And so they're coming all the way from, which part of Texas are you guys from?

Speaker 8 East Texas. East Texas.
Out in the middle of the country. Yeah.

Speaker 5 All the way from Texas. And excited to have them here.
So it's Larry and Stacey. And yeah, excited to have you guys here.
How y'all feeling today?

Speaker 9 Feeling fantastic. That's great.
Yeah. It's great.

Speaker 5 So So I would love for you guys to explain,

Speaker 5 because, again, a lot of people in our world are in coaching businesses. You guys have a coaching business, but it's a little different.

Speaker 5 And I'd love you to explain kind of what you're doing, why you're doing it so that people have an understanding of that before we dive into some of the business side of it.

Speaker 2 Yeah, we actually work with faith-based CEOs, entrepreneurs, and we help them really anchor their calling. A lot of people that we work with have made millions and millions of dollars.

Speaker 2 Some of them are in their startup, but we teach them how to move from revenue creation to profitability and cash flow so that they can create greater generosity. So our driver is generosity.

Speaker 2 Like we work everything when we work inside of P ⁇ L statements and we work inside of something we have, a signature growth method.

Speaker 2 It's how can we increase their operational efficiencies, doge their business so that we can create greater generosity. That's a new thing now, right?

Speaker 5 Doge the business.

Speaker 9 Yeah, yeah, doge the business.

Speaker 8 If we have a different spin on it, instead of governmental efficiency, it's godly efficiency.

Speaker 5 Ooh, way better. Department of godly efficiency yeah doge secrets.com that could be the next uh yeah right

Speaker 5 um that's amazing and then um

Speaker 5 the people you're working with are most of them like again they're running businesses and they want to focus more on god and their business or you know i mean or is it people that are already focusing on that and you're helping them figure out their calling more so or where where exactly did most of the government denominator is that people

Speaker 2 I think there's going to be a divergence in the next two years where people have run after money and things and they're searching for success.

Speaker 2 They've heard about the importance of significance, but the real denominator is going to be a drive for peace.

Speaker 2 So as the world with AI, there's so many great things happening, just like you said on stage, but there's some scary things.

Speaker 2 And people are going to either be able to master what we talk about, we talk about conscious thinking, subconscious thinking.

Speaker 2 Our driver is to help people get into the super conscious thinking, where it's not the things that money can buy, but it's the things that money can't buy.

Speaker 2 I got to travel with Zig Ziglar for 12 years and we shared the stage together for a long time. And he used to say, I like the things that money can buy.

Speaker 2 They can buy a house, but they can't buy a home.

Speaker 2 It can buy a bed, but it can't buy a good night's sleep. It can buy a book, but it'll never buy wisdom.
And so the things that money can't buy are the super conscious things.

Speaker 2 That's how we work with leaders all around the world, helping them get to that place where they can create legacy based on the things that money can't buy.

Speaker 5 Yeah, that's really neat.

Speaker 5 Larry, you told a story at Inner Circle that kind of,

Speaker 5 or Atlas meeting, I mean, that kind of like shocked me and was interesting, but it shows us

Speaker 5 how much you guys believe in like making decisions based on faith, not just always numbers. Do you know what story I'm talking about? About walking away from everything.

Speaker 9 Yeah, 2017.

Speaker 5 I love you to tell that story because I think so many people, it's like we only base our decisions based on the numbers, the metrics, things like that.

Speaker 5 But there's so many times that I think that people, if they started listening to other things

Speaker 5 outside of that, you know, listening to God, listening to their faith, listening, things like that. Somebody make decisions that make no logical sense.
I mean, outside, you're like, this is crazy.

Speaker 5 Why are we doing this? But then it's like, it's the reason why the next thing is born and the birth of the next thing happens. And I think I'd love for you to tell that story.

Speaker 8 Yeah, it's a great story.

Speaker 8 You know, it started off with Stacey having a dream. And so one morning she woke up and

Speaker 8 she felt like God had given her this new song to write. And

Speaker 8 can you tell the words?

Speaker 2 Yeah, it just said, will you say yes? Would you sacrifice your life? Will you say yes? Would you have raised the knife? Which is a story out of the Bible, Adam and

Speaker 2 I mean

Speaker 2 Abraham and Isaac. And will you say yes? Or will you turn and walk away? Will you say yes to me today? And I thought it was a song.

Speaker 2 So I got up, got in my office thinking, oh, I'm writing another song.

Speaker 2 But it wasn't a song. It was a request.

Speaker 8 And so we felt like the Lord was telling us that we needed to step away, or she was feeling like the Lord was telling her that she needed to step away from our business that we had, very successful business at the time.

Speaker 8 And so I wake up, she tells me, and she says, I think you're going to have to take over everything. You know, you need to, you know, the sales, everything, you know, so I'm usually the operations guy.

Speaker 8 And

Speaker 8 so I said, okay, you know, let's do it. And so she stepped away from that and I was just running our business.

Speaker 8 And a few weeks later, I felt like I had the same dream that she had, that it was like, no, it wasn't just for her. It was for both of you.
And so we had bills to pay.

Speaker 8 We had two teenagers, you know, we, we, and it was a significant amount of income that we had coming into our family.

Speaker 8 And to walk away from all of that and literally give everything away, because that was the second part of it, wasn't it?

Speaker 8 Wasn't just step away from your business and stop generating income, but it was give away everything you have. And I was like, God, what does that look like?

Speaker 8 And so a lot of people, it's hard for them to fathom, you know, especially in this day and age, because

Speaker 8 you know, you read the Bible about the rich young ruler and where Jesus asked him to give everything away and to walk with him. And the rich young ruler said, I can't do that.
And he went away sad.

Speaker 8 And so we don't know what would have happened if he said, okay, I'll give away everything. But I felt like that was a test for us.

Speaker 8 And, you know, I know it's not a test for everybody, but it was a test for us.

Speaker 2 Two and a half years we did that. So every time, so we're pretty high.
At that time, we were pretty high leaders in various industries.

Speaker 2 And so we would get recruited to come work for different companies. And every time we would get a really big package, equity ownership, we would sense, this is not what I've called you to do.

Speaker 2 I told you, give it all away. My mom was like, that's the devil, right?

Speaker 8 Well, the interesting was like during that season of time, like we had zero income coming in. Like we're trying to figure out how to pay bills because we had bills.

Speaker 5 You lived in your house?

Speaker 9 Yeah, how did you get out of here? Yeah, we had a very hard house.

Speaker 2 We had a mortgage.

Speaker 8 We had electricity, water.

Speaker 9 House was up for sale because he said sell everything.

Speaker 8 Yeah, we had the house up for sale and it wouldn't sell.

Speaker 8 And that was like really frustrating, too, because in the back of my mind, I was thinking, well, we have equity in the house and that could be our fallback and all that stuff, but it would not sell.

Speaker 8 And so literally we were living by faith from month to month to month. And the interesting thing was, was he provided.
Like he provided every single month.

Speaker 8 And so I would sell things, you know, we had bills to pay. I would go up in the attic and say, we're not using this.

Speaker 8 I'll put it on, you you know, whatever the eBay or whatever it is, and I'd sell it and have enough money to pay the bills for that month. And then next month would come.

Speaker 8 But then there got to one month where I was like, I don't have anything else to sell. Like we sold everything unless we want to start selling our furniture that we use every day.

Speaker 2 And we had the house listed, so we wanted to keep it staged. So interesting, I went into fetal.
Like I, because it was my dream, I felt like I'm leading my family.

Speaker 8 Do you second-guess it a lot?

Speaker 2 Oh, my goodness.

Speaker 2 It's like mentally, especially when you've been identified online, like we had thousands of people watching us online because we had raised up some companies that I had like 250,000 people on my down.

Speaker 2 So it was like, I was used to being popular. He was used to, we would travel and we'd do the selfies, like God's blessing us.
Look at us. And we're like on safaris.

Speaker 2 And I remember like month three crying out to God, why would you ask this of us?

Speaker 2 And we actually had a pastor that came and asked the same thing because we were some of the biggest givers in our church. And so he said, why would God ask you to do that?

Speaker 2 Because you guys use your money to advance the kingdom of God. And so I went home that night and I was thinking, yeah,

Speaker 2 why are we having to? And suddenly that little voice made his question. And I remember saying, God, why would you ask that of us? We use our money to advance your kingdom.

Speaker 2 And it was like, I heard Clearist, I say it again. I said, we use our money to advance your kingdom.
He said, say it again. I said, we use our money to advance your kingdom.

Speaker 2 And he said, Stacey, isn't that narcissistic? You think I need your money to advance my kingdom? He said, I don't need your money. I need your yes.

Speaker 2 And we knew in that moment that this was a calling of something bigger than we've raised up some pretty big companies. This was a test that he wanted to see what had our attention.

Speaker 2 And

Speaker 2 the next day, Larry came in and he encouraged me, got out of bed, and I was like feeling better. The next day, Larry comes into my office and he said, I can't breathe.

Speaker 2 I feel like I have a Mac truck on my chest. No wife wants to hear that.
And I said, hey, what's going on? He says, I got nothing left to sell.

Speaker 2 And I said, well, you told me yesterday that he's got us. And so I said, why don't you go for a walk and just pray?

Speaker 2 We have an acronym, pray, P-R-A-Y, pause, reflect, ask,

Speaker 2 and then yield. Ask God, what are you asking of us? Well, he comes back, and when he comes back, he went to the mailbox and he walks in.

Speaker 2 I'm in my office and he goes to the kitchen and all of a sudden he starts screaming, Stacy, Stacy. And he's waving this Visa bill.
And I'm thinking, God,

Speaker 2 how do I encourage him? And he says, no, open it. We open it up and Russell, it was

Speaker 2 a

Speaker 2 refund from Visa. saying that we had overpaid interest for X amount of time.
It was $32 more than our bills that much, that month.

Speaker 8 And what was crazy, though, is like, I felt like he said at that point, he says, now will you trust me?

Speaker 8 Because like every single month, because he said, you know, think back, because at this time we were like a year and a half into it. And he said, think back.
Have you ever missed a bill?

Speaker 8 Have you ever been late on a payment? I was like, no, never been late on a payment. Never missed paying a bill.
And even when I thought that we were, he still provided.

Speaker 2 It always felt like it was last minute, but it was always on time. And so that was the first time he asked us to give it away.

Speaker 2 We now live on a ranch, 62 acres, and we obviously birthed in 2021 Fuel by Fire, where we help CEOs understand that beyond the currency of money, beyond the economy that everybody lives for, there's another economic system, and it's out of this world.

Speaker 2 And so, when you ask, who do you serve? We serve people who have been in the rat race. They've made money.
They've lost money. They've made money.
Money seems to have wings.

Speaker 2 But like you know, when you put your money to a movement instead of chasing money you create movements suddenly money begins to multiply and there's a scripture in the bible that talks about multiplying the talent not consuming it not burying it in fear i can't invest in in you know growth but really multiplying it and that we believe is what god's called us to do is to teach people how to move out of the rat race of revenue into profitability so that they can multiply cash flow and create generosity.

Speaker 2 And we've got two nonprofits that we are able to funnel those funds through. And Women, We Rescue and Restore the Lives of Women and Girls.

Speaker 2 I've gone through some crazy things in Epiphany Global, where we

Speaker 2 just support missions around the world and outreaches around the world.

Speaker 8 You know, Russell, God brought us out of that season, right, obviously. And when he brought us out of that season, that's when we birthed Fuel by Fire, our coaching business.

Speaker 8 And he tremendously blessed that. And so we pay for everything in cash.
We owe no man but to love him. You know, we don't have any debt or anything like that.
And

Speaker 8 fast forward

Speaker 8 a couple of years later, so it was in October of 2023,

Speaker 8 Stacey wakes up in the morning. And

Speaker 8 so she has a habit every morning, we both do,

Speaker 8 that we say, good morning, Holy Spirit. What would you have of us today? And we wait and see what he has to say.
And that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 Which is not natural because your natural is to look at your phone, to want to get up. Yeah.

Speaker 2 But before those juices, the dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine hit your body, to let him have those first seconds of the day. And if he says, cancel everything, we cancel everything.
If he says,

Speaker 2 puts a face before us, we, you know, like right now, I've got some folks that I know just recently have lost loved ones, and I know they're smiling, but they're hurting.

Speaker 2 And that ability to hear him makes you a conduit. And so that morning was extraordinary again.

Speaker 5 so she felt like she heard

Speaker 8 10 out of 10 will you do it again

Speaker 2 and she's like god what does that mean my eyes are closed and i'm like oh god because we had just again we do everything on cash so we raised up all the money a lot like what you're doing with the million dollar offer.

Speaker 2 We're creating on 62 acres. We're creating a lodge.
We're creating an event center. And so we had raised the money for that.

Speaker 5 To pay for it in cash.

Speaker 2 To pay for it in cash. And I heard 10 out of 10, let's do it again.

Speaker 8 Literally, the next day, we had concrete guys coming out to build up the forms. Yeah, to start with.

Speaker 8 We had already cleared off the pro, you know, that pad and everything. The pad was set.
They were ready to put the forms on. And so.

Speaker 2 He's brushing his teeth. And I said,

Speaker 5 let me tell him this.

Speaker 2 I said, and my eyes are still closed. I said,

Speaker 2 what would you do

Speaker 2 if God said, 10 out of 10, let's do it again, do it by midnight, I'll give you a hundred-fold return without missing a beat. He leans out of the bathroom and he goes, those are great odds.

Speaker 2 Let's do it. Like no fear, no questioning it.
So we had calls until 4 o'clock from 4 to midnight. We had to give all that money away.

Speaker 2 And I will say to nonprofit organizations that don't have online giving set up, it was a Saturday, October 31st.

Speaker 2 There were so many nonprofit organizations that we wanted to give to that they didn't have their system set up. We couldn't give 25,000 or more to them.
And so most people are thinking.

Speaker 8 Well, that was pretty crazy. We're like trying to give them money.
We could not work. Yeah, it wasn't working.
So we literally had to like.

Speaker 9 That's what I'm saying. We said the same thing.

Speaker 2 Operational excellence. But we did that.
And the next launch, in one launch, we were able to.

Speaker 9 Hold up.

Speaker 8 So the very last organization that we gave to, the campaign, they were just launching launching this campaign and we got a hold of them like at 1145 at night and happened to be at church in Austin and they said yeah we have this campaign you're gonna be the first ones to give into it and we're like okay great and so you know what what do we send the money to and they told us and they said

Speaker 8 I said so what's the name of your campaign they said all in

Speaker 2 and I'm like you got to be kidding me this is like the last bit of money and it's all in I'm like that's amazing but the thing that really is the story that relates to most people is like everyone else, we spent so many, we've been doing business for four decades and we spent so much time chasing money, chasing money, chasing how do we increase funds?

Speaker 2 How do we make more revenue? And I believe there's a message that there, and I see it more and more in your posts, there's more. There's more to our calling isn't over here and our business over here.

Speaker 2 There's

Speaker 2 a convergence instead of a divergence.

Speaker 2 There's a convergence of those coming together where people can live a purpose-driven, faith-based, highly profitable life that creates extravagant generosity without forsaking their faith, their family, their freedom.

Speaker 2 And Peyton's a living, walking testimony of what happens when as parents we be consistent in more than what the world offers, they come back and they want to follow.

Speaker 5 Peyton's are stunned for those who don't pay in yet.

Speaker 8 And the follow-up to all of that, we're almost done building that building.

Speaker 9 Really?

Speaker 8 So cool.

Speaker 5 It's interesting because for me in my journey for years, I always looked at

Speaker 5 my calling and my business as completely separate things. And it wasn't until for me, I had someone who's one of my coaches and she's an amazing coach.

Speaker 5 But before I hired her as my coach, she went through my coaching program. So I helped.
helped her and her husband launched their business and all sorts of stuff.

Speaker 5 And I was having this coaching call with her and she was talking about that,

Speaker 5 how they're tied together i'm like no they're not like god doesn't care about what i'm doing over here like this is my business this is where i you know where i spend my time spiritually they're different

Speaker 5 and she was like you don't see it i'm like see what she's like she's like you're like like this is your calling what you're doing and i was like no like my calling is not helping me make money like it seemed it seemed really shallow to me i was just like that god couldn't care less about me helping people make money these are so separate and then it was powerful coming from her she's like you don't understand like yes you helped us make money but she's like do you realize what you gave us she's like before we met you like we were in bondage like we couldn't do anything.

Speaker 5 And you helped us to get out of bondage. Like, yes, we made money, but we got out of bondage, and now we can serve and we can give.

Speaker 5 We spend more time with our family, we're able to like give to charity and like all this stuff.

Speaker 5 And she's like, She's like, You like the vehicle that God's given you to like the tool, whatever, is to help people make more money. But what you're actually giving people is freedom.

Speaker 5 When you start looking at that way, your calling is to free people so they can serve people, they can do that. And like, I was like bawling my eyes out.
I'm like, because I'd never,

Speaker 5 I'd never seen that, never like, you know, and for me, when I, when I put those two things together, it gave me more permission to like double down on my business.

Speaker 5 You know, I'm like, now I'm like, okay, well, if this is a calling, like, then I, I need to go all, like, then I don't know if I, I personally feel like I had like safety nets after that.

Speaker 5 Cause I'm like, oh, well, I'm doing what God wants me to do. Therefore, like, I can go, I can go harder.
You know what I mean? I didn't put safety nets like you guys were.

Speaker 5 I'm hoping I never have to, but

Speaker 5 I'm hoping I would be willing, but also, you know, but it's a crazy thought, though.

Speaker 9 It is a crazy thing.

Speaker 2 Like, think about,

Speaker 2 you know, in 2017, before 2017,

Speaker 2 we had a, we've had all kinds of traditional business, telecom, healthcare. We had a business that we were using, a type of network marketing model, selling telecom.

Speaker 2 Garrett was in his flux of the worst days of his life.

Speaker 2 And I remember meeting Garrett

Speaker 2 and saying, he would be a great guy to have on my front line. And so

Speaker 2 he slept on our couch. He was in a tough season of life.

Speaker 5 He was Garrett White before Garrett Jay White that you all know. Yeah.

Speaker 2 But everybody has a before story. We have a before story.
And the before story is what's so important

Speaker 2 because Garrett, in his worst days, helped us create our first funnel. He was hacking.
He had every kind of system. It was like Frankenstein,

Speaker 2 everything.

Speaker 2 But that was 2012. And you guys were all in the research mode and all of that, probably trying to hack some of the stuff we were doing over there.
That

Speaker 2 funnel put 23,000 people for me into that system, which became 250,000, which became a $350 million company in three and a half years.

Speaker 2 And then fast forward where we see back to what you've created, those days of hacking and searching and trying to figure out what is this ClickFunnels thing going to be.

Speaker 2 Today,

Speaker 2 We write offers for anything God tells us to do, anything. He tells us to put in a lake and stock it with bass.
We look at how much is, we don't ever question it. How much is that going to cost?

Speaker 2 Let's build a launch for that.

Speaker 2 Put in a lodge, which is what we're doing now. We look at the budget and we know God has no problem with money.
And he's given us a tool. We just write a launch for that.

Speaker 2 Everything he, now we teach other people how to do it.

Speaker 2 This is where I say, no eye has seen, no ear has heard the things that God has prepared for you.

Speaker 2 We just have to get out of scarcity, grasshopper thinking and believe, get a giant slayer, David mentality. And instead of saying, the giant's so big, I can't do it, the giant's so big, I can't miss.

Speaker 2 And when you have that perspective, you walk into a room like what we're in right now, and you realize that one can put a thousand to flight, two can put 10,000 to flight.

Speaker 2 But what if we create a movement? We can change the world.

Speaker 3 Yeah.

Speaker 5 So cool. I'm curious when you guys make your offers.
Do you tell the people like, hey, the money rationist, we're going to be building that? Like, do you talk about that?

Speaker 5 Or is it more behind the scenes? Like, are people buying into the whole vision of it?

Speaker 2 From day one. Yeah.

Speaker 8 So when, so we have a workbook that people can buy. It's an upsell.
We have a VIP which people can

Speaker 8 become a member of during our launch. And both of those, we tell them.
that 100% of those proceeds from the workbook or from VIP go to one of our nonprofits. And so they know that going in.

Speaker 2 And then from our actual, we do programs that are $25,000 to $250,000. And we let them know a bare minimum of 10% of everything we bring in immediately goes back out.

Speaker 2 And to be in our $125,000 or $250,000 program, they sign an agreement that they will give 10% of their company to nonprofit. We won't work with them unless they give.

Speaker 2 So because we know there's an equation of generosity that causes the blow-up of their business. So one company specific is two young guys that came to us at 21 and 23.

Speaker 2 They had started these sheds and hit COVID where everybody was trying to find places to store their stuff. And so they did pretty good, but then they came to us and they were going through bankruptcy.

Speaker 2 And we happen to have a lot of business acumen to help people like that. So in less than nine months, we were able to get them to 13 million.

Speaker 2 And from 13 million in three years, we got them to over 70 million. So

Speaker 2 But every time they would take a dip, it's because they stopped giving. Every time they got a setback, it's because they were messing with the equation of generosity.

Speaker 2 So we've tapped into an equation that works inside of our client,

Speaker 2 within our clients, that

Speaker 2 it's like gravity. You can't explain it, but you cannot deny it.

Speaker 8 I have something cool about that.

Speaker 5 So my mentor, Dan Kennedy,

Speaker 5 brilliant marketing of mine, not someone who has faith or belief, you know, and all of that kind of stuff.

Speaker 5 And it shocked me because I bought one of his courses back in the day. It was his wealth building course.

Speaker 5 And the entire first hour of the wealth building course, he was like, All right, there's this thing you have to do. It's not gonna make any sense.
Doesn't make sense to me.

Speaker 5 He's like, But you give away money. You give to people, you serve, and he's like, and it comes back.
He's like, and it was funny because he doesn't know the principles or why. He just knew it worked.

Speaker 5 And so he's like, so like, step number one, if you want to build wealth, give money away. That was like the whole break.

Speaker 5 And I was like, and I asked him later, I was just like, that was so shocking that that would be like,

Speaker 5 I love you to death, but I know your beliefs over here. And that doesn't make any sense.
He's like, doesn't make sense to me either. But it, math, you know, the equation works.

Speaker 5 And so I give money away and it comes back. And I had another mentor.
He said, he said something really cool. This is back 20 years ago.
He told me this. He said,

Speaker 5 the size of the hole that you give from will be equivalent to the size of the hole you receive from. And I remember he said that.
And I was just starting my business at the time.

Speaker 5 I had a little bit of money, but not a lot. But I started thinking about when I'd go to restaurant tipping people, I'm like, I can tip 10% or 20%, whatever.
I'm like, or what if I tip the whole bill?

Speaker 5 So I started doing that more and more. And it's just, it started that process.
And anyway, it's just, it's interesting.

Speaker 2 Our lake is really important. So I have a dream that I'm getting close to 60, that I want to have fishing with G-Mama.

Speaker 2 And I want people to come out to the lake and have a TV show, and I want to talk to them about the finer things of life. And so when we're building this lake, first off, you're intentional.

Speaker 2 You know, it requires a lot of thought process. What are you going to put in the lake? How are you going to feed the bass? And are you going to have shiners and bluegill?

Speaker 2 And so you're putting a lot of money into the lake.

Speaker 2 And in Texas, we have big rains. So the lake fills up, and we've got this incredible dam and spillway.
Well, the lake fills up and then it keeps raining. And it's like

Speaker 2 we're on top of the hill watching this and we're like, oh, wow, it's overflowing. Like it's

Speaker 9 flooding.

Speaker 2 It is out the spillway. And we're thinking as we're going to bed, we do not want this to go over the dam.

Speaker 2 So we go to bed, we're praying. God, we're just stewards of this whole vision.
We don't own it. It's yours.
And so

Speaker 2 if you want us to start over with the fish, we know we can do it again. We feel that way about business.
And so it's not ours, it's yours.

Speaker 2 Well, we go to bed and the next morning I wake up and literally the water is not only flooding out of the spillway, but it's right up to the edge of the dam.

Speaker 2 And I woke up and I said, good morning, Holy Spirit. What would you have of me today? And he said, As long as you have an effective spillway, I can keep sending the rain.

Speaker 2 He said, the spillway is generosity. He said, don't stop giving.
I'll keep sending the rain.

Speaker 2 And Russell, that's what we see with you is as much as people know you for all the click funnel things, anyone that studies you deeper, they see your heart of generosity.

Speaker 2 They see even when you get on stage and there's somebody who's passed away, the generosity that comes from your tenderness of heart.

Speaker 2 And we are athletes, so

Speaker 2 put me on a basketball court, I'll score. Put him in a football field, he's going to score.
Put you in your zone and on the mat.

Speaker 9 Well,

Speaker 9 maybe that's the other night too.

Speaker 5 I can still be most people with no arms, but

Speaker 9 I'm willing to try.

Speaker 2 But that competitiveness move to generosity-that's why our vision is to create a billion-dollar storehouse of generosity.

Speaker 2 And the only way we'll do that is by working with a lot of really successful companies and CEOs who get the tithe, who understand the 10% giving.

Speaker 8 And what the amazing thing is, though, is that every single company that comes to us comes through ClickFunnels.

Speaker 8 And so the platform that you guys built is the gateway that gets them to us.

Speaker 2 To Uganda, Mozambique,

Speaker 2 Guatemala, all these different organizations that we support,

Speaker 2 ClickFunnels is making a way for that. So if you've ever questioned whether or not your calling and your business are aligned, making a difference.
It is like,

Speaker 2 take the slingshot away from David.

Speaker 9 Yeah.

Speaker 9 Yeah.

Speaker 5 Well, dang, thank you guys. I feel better about myself already.
There you go. That's awesome.
Okay.

Speaker 5 One last question because I know in the business world, people that follow me, listen, there's two sides. There's a lot who do believe in faith.

Speaker 5 But there's a lot who struggle with that. And they're like, you know, and I'd be curious,

Speaker 5 like for those who don't believe in whatever, but like more so, like, how do you help them to understand there's a calling? Because I'm a big believer. I think all business is calling.

Speaker 5 I feel like the reason why 22 years ago I got geeked out about marketing is God is planting seeds for like today, right?

Speaker 5 And I think people start businesses and even if they don't have faith in something, but like, how do they, how do they, I don't know if there's a way or if you teach something, but like how do they find their calling?

Speaker 5 How do they become aware of it? How do they know it's not just like, I'm trying to make money, but like, how do they find the purpose?

Speaker 2 Well, people, we always say give people what they want. And then as you create the dynamic of relationship, give them what they really need.
So people come to us to make more money.

Speaker 2 And they know that we have a track record of producing wealth. So that's what our signature growth method is.

Speaker 2 And it starts with God-size vision, the G, God-size vision, having something bigger than yourself that you cannot do alone.

Speaker 2 And then the R is how to turn your revenues into profitability and cash flow. Everybody wants that.

Speaker 2 O, operational excellence, which is Larry's jam, teaching people how to really doge their business, create SOPs, create a functionally healthy company.

Speaker 2 W, wise counsel, how to put scaffolding around you in order to scale. T, how to have a team-managed business.
And then H, healthy habits. People come for that.

Speaker 2 What we know, though, is a lot of those leaders that come, they're addicted to pornography and alcohol, and they've tried everything to get free, everything.

Speaker 2 And when somebody is suffering, We always say you go through three things, suffering, sacrifice, and then you go through silence before you get the slingshot.

Speaker 2 When you're in that place of suffering, it's not about religion. It's about freedom.

Speaker 2 And so we talk a language of peace and freedom that brings people to a place of recognizing God has given you a talent, but maybe you've let a crack, you know, there's a, I talked about it yesterday when we were on stage, is the crack in the nuclear submarine called the USS Thresher.

Speaker 2 And basically, they were on a regular routine mission and they'd slipped below their integrity level, which is the integrity of what the submarine was built for.

Speaker 2 They went deeper and then all of a sudden they started having malfunctions, but it was a crack in the submarine that actually caused it to implode. It was catastrophic.

Speaker 2 They called it a catastrophic failure. A lot of CEOs experience catastrophic failure because of a crack in their marriage, a crack in their family, not watching what's happening to the kids.

Speaker 2 And so suddenly they're spending all these years building all this money or all this wealth, and they miss missed the thing that actually imploded what matters most.

Speaker 2 And so that's how we communicate really not about religion, but about what matters most in your life. We happen to be Christians.
That's our faith. But we speak to people of all different backgrounds.

Speaker 2 At the end of the day, money is not the denominator everybody's chasing. Money only makes you more of what you are.
But what most people are chasing is peace.

Speaker 2 And peace often comes through suffering, sacrifice, a season of silence, and then the ability to say what Zig Ziglar always said, be, do, have.

Speaker 2 We believe it starts off with C, have that God-sized vision. Become the leader God created you to be.
Do the hard work, do the reps, do the reps so that you can have a life of peace and profits.

Speaker 5 So cool. You guys, this is fun.
I'm glad that we had a chance to sit down and talk. I'm glad for my people to hear this too, because I think

Speaker 5 I try to bring this and weave more of these kind of conversations into what I'm doing. And this is just super cool.
And just to see what you guys,

Speaker 5 how much you're willing to follow the promptings of God is inspiring and exciting and scary.

Speaker 9 Yeah, it is. All right.

Speaker 5 Good promptings for me. Don't let me know.
Just kidding.

Speaker 2 You know, when we saw your selling online challenge, and I wanted to tell you this, is that

Speaker 2 we're so glad that we were in ClickFunnels since 2017, but had no idea what ClickFunnels was. We didn't know the community.

Speaker 8 Beyond the platform.

Speaker 2 Yeah, we just used the software.

Speaker 2 And when we saw selling online, it was because we were looking for a sales coach for our team who didn't drop the F-bomb.

Speaker 2 We were just looking for somebody who could just teach the information without the emotional drama.

Speaker 8 Shared the same values.

Speaker 2 And with, yeah, values. And so

Speaker 2 the day that we saw you and you went through the whole thing, our team is online with us. And they're like, when you went to the million-dollar offer, they're like, Larry, hold her back.

Speaker 9 Hold her back. Because they just know.
I'm like, if that can change. Not too late, by the way.

Speaker 9 We got it in the back of our mind. Yeah.

Speaker 2 But when you made the offer, we, of course, went in for the offer that you were offering, and we said, how do we get on a call?

Speaker 2 Because what was in the back of our mind was not what can we get from you, but how can we come and just serve and be a part of the community.

Speaker 2 If we get an idea and we already have, you know, one funnel changes everything, pays for everything. That's why we always say it's not about the money.

Speaker 2 It's about are you willing to receive the one thing that can change everything. For us, that's why we're here, is we want to be a a part of the movement that you're doing, the bigger movement.

Speaker 2 And we're honored that we get to be in the room with you.

Speaker 5 Well, thanks, you guys. It's been super cool getting to know you guys.
Ever since day one, we first hung out at Atlas. I was like, I love these guys.

Speaker 5 Yeah, so grateful to have you guys.

Speaker 5 So, for our team and people who are listening who want to follow you guys and jump in and plug into what you guys are doing, what's the best place for them to go and see all the magic?

Speaker 2 At Stacey Wallace, everything's under my name, or Field by Fire. FieldbyFire.com tells everything that we've got.

Speaker 2 We run a challenge every month to teach people how to merge faith and business, and it's fbfchallenge.com. And yeah, it's life-changing.
Yeah.

Speaker 5 Awesome. Well, thanks you guys for being you and for hanging out and sharing all these cool things with everybody.
Grateful for you and for everyone at home.

Speaker 5 Go check out their challenge and appreciate you guys all listening.

Speaker 3 So thank you.
