When empires debase their currency, citizens who hold gold survive the transition.
That's not opinion, it's documented fact.
Trump's economic warning isn't speculation, it's pattern recognition.
The same signals that preceded every major currency crisis are flashing now.
Unsustainable debt, foreign nations dumping our bonds, and central banks hoarding gold.
But Trump's also revealing the solution.
The IRS strategy he's used for decades is available to every American.
It's how the wealthy preserve their fortunes when paper currencies fail.
American Alternative Assets has documented this strategy in their free 2025 wealth protection guide.
It shows exactly how to position yourself before the turbulence Trump's warning about arrives.

The patterns are clear.
Make sure you're on the right side of them.

So you just got back from summer vacation.
Maybe you might have even had to book two rooms because of your snoring.
Some vacation, huh?
Snoring can be an underlying cause of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and even memory loss.
Here is my advice.
If you want every night to be a true vacation, you need to get yourself Zipa.
That's happy Z spelled backwards.

The snoring can stop as soon as the first night.
Zipa was proven in a 600-patient clinical trial and sold over half a million units.
From now until the end of October, show your family you actually care by purchasing a limited edition Pink Zipa.
Not only will you save $10,
but Zipa is on a mission to raise $50,000 for breast cancer research and they will donate another $10,000 to the Susan G.

So please come join us.
Well, Victor, lots of news this week, but I wanted to start with the polls because it looks like Trump is closing in on the Harris lead.
The Nate Silver, who is often very reliable, has in the swing states, Harris now less than 1% ahead in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
And I thought that was very encouraging.
That was a Wednesday poll.
What are your thoughts?
I think that it's starting to resemble a little bit the 2020
phenomenon.
Remember, she gave a big talk.
I think it was in Oakland, as the native daughter of Oakland, which she wasn't.
She got a lot of Hollywood silicon money, black woman, young, dynamic, well-known, California, biggest state.
And then she had the first debate, and she called Biden a segregationist supporter and a racist, kind of lied about busing.
And then she had the second debate, and she was the real Camela, the cackler, the word salader, and Tulsi Galbert.
kind of dissected her.
And then she had these wackos.
She never had a position.
And all of her staff, remember, they kept coming, they kept leaking that she was a tyrant they fired them they had no position and meetings she'd say well should we go left this day or should we go tomorrow we go more to the right what is she was just a person without any principles or consistent ideology and she dropped out in december it was a phenomenal she was the head of the the pack for a while for a while I think she got up to 20% or something in a 10-person field, 10 plus.
And then she bombed.
And I think that's what's happening.
The more people see that she has no policy statements on her website, she's flipped at almost all of her positions.
And she won't do interviews.
She won't do unscripted lectures or talks or rallies.
She won't, she's kind of avoiding the debate.
She won't have press conferences.
They want to know why.
And then Tim Waltz is a force multiplier of her
vulnerabilities.
He's herky jerky.
He's a pathological liar.
He brings nothing electoral to the ticket.
So I think that she's stalling.
The question is, A, can Trump take advantage of it and keep pressing?
Because whatever he's done the last week is much better than what he did the last two weeks.
He's kept a message.
He's kept to the issues.
He's got some great new explicators.
And I think that is one of the reasons why he is surging.
And by that, I mean J.D.
Vance,
Tulsi Gabbard, Gabbard, and RFK Jr.
can articulate what Trump represents much better than Trump can.
And they're out there.
And I thought maybe
they're going to endorse Trump and then they're going to sit back and just say, well, I endorse them.
My job's over.
But it's not that way.
They're participating.
So I thought that I think that explains.
And then when you look at the real clear politics polls that are coming.
And remember, Sammy, we haven't had a lot.
It's still behind the polls.
I mean, we haven't had them in September 4th or 5th or anything like that.
And when you look at even the polls, the real clear policy aggregate, Trump aggregate is ahead in Arizona.
That's all the polls.
He's tied in Pennsylvania.
This is a week ago.
And it doesn't account for your latest poll.
In Nevada, it's dead even.
It's dead even in Pennsylvania.
It's dead even in North Carolina.
In Georgia, it's dead even.
The only one that really, she had a lead in all of the aggregate was Wisconsin, and that was very tenuous at 1.5.
So
if he is surging, and if the polls in both 2020 and to a lesser extent 2016 discounted or underestimated his actual strength as exhibited on Election Day, he's in pretty good shape.
I was in Michigan.
I just got, I'm in here at Pepperdine today, but we in California don't see those ads, you know, because it's of no value.
The Electoral College is set.
But Michigan's a swing state.
And when you look at this, I noticed two things about the ads when I turned on the television.
One, she has more ads than Trump does, so she has more money.
But Trump's ads are much better.
I'm not just saying that because I favor him over Harris.
I mean, they just show her debating herself.
She said,
Biden nominates is so good.
I am so happy.
And then it said, prices are so high.
Everything's going up.
And it was this, they're really brilliant.
Who's ever doing them?
So I think everybody should shed their pessimism and get a little bit more encourage if this trend continued.
Still up in the air, but it's a good sign.
Yeah, it is.
You know, I think her gamble is that when she did that interview, she tried to say, my values haven't changed, that line everybody's been repeating.
But the gamble is, is that her base will think it's a wink and a nod and not worry about her flips.
And the other independents or dithering voters will remain gullible and believe her flips.
And
I don't know which way it goes.
I don't know which way it goes.
They're inconsistent.
You can't have a candidate that says, these are my
policy current positions.
I'm for a wall.
I'm to stop catching release.
I'm for secure borders.
I'm for a defense buildup.
I am to be tough on crime.
I want to frack.
And then all of those are antithetical to what she did.
So when they ask her, just a timid little Dana Bash was pathetic.
God, we've talked about that, but just a little pathetic question.
How do you reconcile these latest statements with your current?
She said, well, my values haven't changed.
Well, that's an admission.
She's saying, basically, hey, everybody out there, I'm still left-wing, but I have changed my positions to be centrist or right because that's popular and nobody wants what I have.
And therefore, I'll probably flip back.
And so it just shows you that she admitted that she's a chime.
And I don't think to see her, she's one of these people that the more she preps for a debate, the worse she gets.
The more that she worries about not giving an interview and avoids the media and the public, the worse she gets.
And the more that people get acquainted with her, the worse she gets.
And that's why they keep her away.
It's not just that she has a word salad and she can't speak, just to be around her.
There's something arrogant about her, off-putting, the voice.
It's just something that doesn't wear well.
Yeah, exactly.
She's the antithesis of Tulsi Gabbert.
Tulsi Gabbert's got a pleasant voice.
She's genuine.
She's upbeat.
She's not, you know what I mean?
And, and it's just, yes.
She's a much better spokesman for the MAGA position than Harris is for whatever whatever she is for.
I don't know what she's for in him.
Yeah, we're all wondering.
Yeah, there is reason for a bit of optimism, but we do have our DOJ, Merrick Garland, now out on the war path for Kamala, I'm sure, by saying that there is Russian interference going on in U.S.
election and that they have evidence of fake media companies that are paying for AI social media content and for social media influencers for content.
That guy guy is such a pathetic, tragic figure.
I mean, he thought he was going to be a Supreme Court justices.
And after
Mitch McConnell said, you know what, we're going to play by Joe Biden rule that in a lame duck session, we're not going to hold hearings on a Supreme Court.
You started it, we finished it.
And they just crushed him.
And he's been an obsequious
toadish person ever since.
And so he was the one that illegally appointed Jack Smith.
There was no statute that said that there should be a special counsel.
When they did Robert Mueller, there was no statute, but at least they voted in the Congress to ratify.
They didn't do that with Jack Smith.
And he'd been talking with Merritt Garland.
So you wouldn't think they would want to mention Russia-Russia collusion or interference after Hillary Clinton's fake steel dossier that she paid for in 2016, and she hid it through, what, three paywalls, DNC.
Perkins-Coe, and Fusion GPS.
And it was all bogus.
If we were having this conversation nine nine years ago, everybody would have said, oh, this is, it's authentic.
There was nothing in it, nothing.
And that warped an election.
They did nothing.
Merrick, why don't you go back there and see if any of that's subject to the statute of limitations?
If you don't want to go back that far, go back to 51 intelligence authorities.
Has Leon Panetta, has John Brennan?
Has James Clapper ever apologized for warping an election?
That is,
Anthony Blinken, our Secretary of State, made a call to Mike Morrell, the interim former deputy CIA director, and he said, round them up.
And they rounded up these hacks.
They signed a letter.
They had a little, I don't know, escape clause.
It has all the
hallmarks of Russian disinformation.
At the time, the FBI had the laptop and had authenticated, and they knew it.
They said they were retired.
About half of them were still contractors on the payroll.
So you basically had the CIA interfering to give Joe Biden a plausible lie in the next upcoming debate, which he used
when Trump said, well, your whole family's criminal.
It's all there in the lab.
Oh, 51 authorities said it's not.
It's Russian.
It's your Russian.
You're doing it.
That helped.
That warped an election.
Did he investigate that?
No.
Well, why doesn't he do this?
Mark Zuckerberg has just confessed.
And we talked about that, that in the 2020 election, he partnered with the FBI to squash accurate news accounts about the laptop, which would favor Joe Biden.
Is he going to look at that?
That's interference.
That's collusion.
That's interference.
If there's going to be any interference, it's likely going to be from China.
And
so
I don't know if that's the October surprise.
Remember the October surprise is when the left drops bombshells onto Reagan.
They said he was secretly negotiating with Iranians so they wouldn't release the hostages till he came.
When George W.
Bush ran, remember it was the drunk driving at the last moment.
Oh, he had a DUI.
They dropped that, I think, 24 hours and it lost him two or three points.
Russian collusion with
Donald Trump.
But there was also, remember the Access Hollywood?
Remember that?
That
Billy Bush tape they just dropped right before the debate.
And then 2020, we had the 51 intelligence authorities.
And now I don't know what it will be, but everybody listening, I don't know if it's going to be another Russia, Russia, Russia, but it's going to be something like that.
And I hope the Trump people are prepared for it.
They don't believe in the American people.
They don't believe their agenda has any support.
They don't believe that people like what they have to offer.
So they have to have a coup to remove a guy like Biden or hide hide him from the public, then by fiat, appoint a person like Harris, and then segregate her from
the press and put her in seclusion because they can't just be honest, be transparent.
I'm Camilla Harris.
As you remember, I said everybody should be woke, and I'm a radical.
And I want to have single-payer health care.
You don't know it's good for you, but it is.
And I'm against your fracking, and it's good for you.
And you know, those guns you have, I want mandatory buybacks.
If she just say that, that's what she's for.
But she can't because nobody wants what they have, so they have to be deluded.
They have real contempt, as we said before, for the American people.
They do.
And you know what their argument is, though?
Things like misinformation, disinformation.
the presence of arms in the population, whatever, is all part of an ignorance that's being cultivated in the American people.
And that ignorance is the threat to democracy.
And they're really saving democracy, the likes of Merrick Garland.
Yes, because he's preventing
the
diversity I really do.
I mean, when you nullify the primary votes of 14 million voters who voted for Joe Biden, and
when Joe Biden got those votes after losing three caucuses and primaries,
and they were dead,
what, terrified that Bernie Sanders or Pete Buttigig or Elizabeth Warren, who were ahead in the delegate count, and they had them all dissipate when they had the South Carolina black vote that Clyborne organized, and they knew he was demented and unhinged, and they kept that hidden for three and a half years.
And then when it was no longer
able to disguise that the president was not in control of his faculties, they did something that no democracy in American history, I can't remember in the the modern history, has ever done.
They staged a debate before the conventions and before the nominees were ratified by their delegates.
And when that blew up, then they had another coup and they said, you're out, Joe, or we're going to 25th amen.
And then they said to the American people, it's much more important that our party have a viable cognitively alert candidate than it is you, the American people, have a cognitively alert president.
Therefore,
the king is dead.
Joe Biden's gone.
Long live the king.
Camilla Harris comes in.
I know we told you that that was Biden's insurance policy.
It no longer is.
She's no longer inept.
She's no longer a buffoon, a joke.
She is the second coming of Barack Obama.
And we've just anointed her.
There's going to be no open convention.
There's going to be no delegate.
Joe Manchin, get out of here.
We don't want you.
You are the candidate.
Just forget everything we said 48 hours ago about her ineptness and she would never be able to do it.
Just forget now that she was ever an incumbent.
She has not really been vice president.
It was Joe Biden, Joe Biden's unpopularity.
She's not, and that's what they do.
And that's what they're doing right now.
It's an affront to democracy.
They don't believe in it.
And I think that Trump and Vance are up to exposing all this.
But first,
I want to talk about U.S.
Steel and its sale to Nippon Steel, which is owned by Japan.
But first, I would like to take a moment for our sponsor, Field of Greens.
Field of Greens feeds your body with fruits and vegetables medically chosen to support your heart, vital organs, and immune system.
With Field of Greens, you can feel the difference in your energy levels.
No more afternoon crashes.

And we'd like to thank Field of Greens for sponsoring the Victor Davis Hansen show.
So Victor, we recently learned, and it was through the artifice of Trump and Vance, that U.S.
SEAL was to be sold off to Nippon
Steel, which is owned by Japan.
And so it would have been foreign-owned, and it's been sitting hot
in the oven for quite some months, apparently.
And I thought that was interesting that they exposed Harris and Biden for that.
Yeah, I mean,
they're warping all sorts of news events.
There was a report, and I don't want to traffic in rumors, but there was something similar that
there was a decision, I think it was the Aviation Weekly or some magazine, I just looked at it, said
that this
fiasco in space where we're just abandoning two astronauts and we're counting on the demonized Elon Musk to
recalibrate his quite different,
but much more dependable than the Boeing projectile.
He's going to go up and I guess in February.
But
the delivery vehicle that dropped them off is coming home.
But they're not going to be on it, which is either because
they don't want to risk them and they have no confidence in it.
But a lot of people said they just didn't want to, she was a space sorry, remember that?
They don't want to have any chance whatsoever.
There's a mishap or there's more attention paid to it.
So they just want to stick them up there and leave them up there and let Elon take the responsibility for bad or good to try to salvage it
after the election.
That sounds fantastic to me, but I wouldn't put anything past them.
And so you're going to see all of these news developments warped in some way.
And we're going to see something.
You can imagine why Joe Biden is putting such inordinate pressure on Netanyahu.
He wants anything,
anything, anything he can say that will give a slight bump in the polls by saying he solved the Gaza war or there's now a ceasefire.
He wants those 250,000 votes.
And you can see that during the convention, we talked about that.
We both predicted that they would not riot.
and they would not charge the halls.
Everybody was predicting because they had made a deal.
And as I said earlier, Molly molly ball wrote in 2021 that the street demonstrations of antifa and blm were modulated uh and coordinated by this progressive project she had called it a cabal and a conspiracy she's a woman of the left she's a very good writer i have no personal animus to her but she laid it out they did the same thing with with that right now it's back to school you can believe they're telling all of these campus campuses we do not want demonstrations So don't crack down on them and cause violence.
Just let it blow off steam.
Let them go like they did in Columbia.
Harass Jews, do whatever you have.
And at Harvard, don't go after the guys that went after the Jews.
Columbia has a big report out about anti-Semitism.
And yet, here the same people are right at the gates of Columbia doing the same old stuff.
And Stanford just issued
a 950-page report on anti-Semitism.
It's pretty damning.
But I tell you,
these people are not
revolutionaries as they think they are.
They are conniving political operatives.
And they are basically telling the Democratic Party, we're not going to vote in Michigan and to a lesser extent Minnesota and other places with large Muslim populations unless you are pro-Hamas.
And the Democratic Party can't admit that.
So they translate that into, oh, we're for a ceasefire, which means we're pro-Hamas.
They have elevated hostage takers and mass murders to the same level as a constitutional state like Israel.
And we're supposed to take that.
I mean, it's so absurd.
Oh, well, the hostages, we need to do more to get.
Hey, Joe, they're killers.
They're thugs.
They took hostages.
That's a medieval thing to do.
They took over 250 of them.
They just shot an American, one of them, in the back of the head several times because he was going to be rescued.
That is the reality.
And you're with those people when you pressure Israel and say they haven't done enough when they're trying to rescue them.
It's just, it's bizarre.
I hope the American people look at this and just get disgusted.
There's a wonderful article in The Gate Stone by John Richardson where he basically says these people think that if there's a ceasefire, these hostages are going to come home.
And that is a very wrong perception.
And he goes on to defend these positions.
He's absolutely right.
They're going to meter them out and they're going to kill any that they think are going to be rescued.
And maybe they'll let one out and then get a concession.
Then maybe two out and get a concession.
And then when they got enough concessions, they'll kill the rest.
They're thugs and killers.
And it's frightening that we let all these people in on student visas that are,
I don't know, synchronized with Hamas.
They're getting paid by Iran.
They're one and the same.
That's another reason
a person should vote for Trump.
He has said that if people break the rules and they're on student visas, that they're not going to renew them and they have to go home.
And that would be a treat, I think.
You come over here and they say they hate this country and they hate this and they deface monuments, they go to Stanford, they write on iconic colonnades,
all this pro-Hamas stuff.
And then somebody says, you know what?
You can go back.
You get to go back to the Middle East and demonstrate there.
And there won't be any of this decadence America.
You can be pro-Hamas, go into the streets of Gaza, parade, go pick up an AR-15 or whatever you want and attack the IDF.
But you think they're going to do that?
No.
No, they're as cowardly as the Hamas is themselves for hiding behind.
They do it because we're not able to express our values.
We don't defend them.
We don't have confidence in them.
We can't say, you know what, we didn't say we were perfect.
But
God would swear, I swear by God, that we are 10 times better than the alternative.
And if you don't like it here and you want to trash this country and try to warp an election, just get out.
Just go back home.
We don't have to invite you.
Immigration is not a suicide pact.
And I hope somebody says that to them.
Yeah, and it really, we should be joining Israel since we've had an American killed.
One of those six that was killed this week was an American.
We had Americans killed on October 7th and taken hostage.
So
they're doing us a favor.
I mean, the people that have blown up Marines, Hezbollah, the Houthis that have attacked our ships, and of course, Hamas is no friend of ours and killed Americans.
And then there's Iran that's fired weapons at us and killed maybe 22,500 in Iraq during the war with shape charges.
Who's fighting them?
Israel.
We're not.
This would all stop in two minutes.
If a U.S.
president just said to Iran,
don't do it.
Don't get in.
You're not going to give any more arms.
You're not going to send any more cargo ships to Hezbollah.
We're going to shoot them down.
You just stay within your own borders.
And if you don't, the first thing we're going to do is embargo all your oil and blockade your trade.
Next thing, it's going to get worse.
So don't do it.
And then say to Israel, you have to deal with your regional opponents, but they're not going to be resupplied by Iran.
And Iran is not going to send missiles at you.
And if they do, you're welcome to do whatever you think is necessary for your security.
And we will guarantee it.
And there would be no war.
In fact, that seems to be one of the sticking points on the ceasefire, that Israel doesn't want to leave a corridor between Egypt and Gaza open where Iranian arms could come in.
And that's where they're sticking on the ceasefire, at least one of the big points.
And I don't blame Israel.
Blow it up, blow it sky high.
It's a tunnel, I understand.
So.
Yeah, I don't understand another thing, and that is
it's worse that Robert Maui, you know, he was a Pentagon special envoy, I should say say, and special envoy in the State Department.
He was just an Iranian appeaser.
And then this guy that works, I guess he was Kamala Harris's national security advisor, that Gordon guy,
he was just a shill for Iran.
And there's no, I mean, she's incapable of criticizing Iran because the people around her are pro-Iranian.
And they're all in the Pentagon, they're all in the State Department, and no one ever, you know, wants to talk about it.
No.
Well, anybody dithering on their vote shouldn't be dithering anymore and vote for Trump.
But let's go to some messages and come back and talk a little bit about Russia, not Russia, sorry, about China and Brazil.
Stay with us and we'll be back.

And so Victor,
Kathy Holkel's, I think it was the deputy chief of staff by the name of Linda Sun, has been arrested on charges of fraud, smuggling, money laundering.
And apparently she was doing business for the Chinese Communist Party and never registered as an agent for China.
And so lots of accusations in New York.
Merrick Garland is obviously looking into this, isn't he?
This is so weird because we've just had the South Korean espionage, former CIA employee, wife of Max Boot, who is now under indictment.
Now we have spies there.
Remember Dianne Feinstein's chauffeur?
She wasn't,
I don't know what happened.
There was no culpability.
For 20 years, he drove her around while she was talking as the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee on her phone in the back seat.
And the FBI said, oh, there was nothing wrong with that.
They're everywhere.
These Cornfucius Institutes, many of them have been shut down.
They were just nexuses for espionage.
No one seems to be upset about it.
So while you have Chinese spies in government at the highest levels, whether it can't get much higher than the Senate intelligence chair,
former late Diane Finstein.
When you have the governor of one of the largest states, the chief financial center of the United States, and
she's talking every day among a Chinese communist spy.
And Merrick Garland said he's worried about Russian collusion.
Is he insane?
And
they have a soft spot for China.
I don't know if it's commercial, but when you look at Tim Waltz, we're going to have a vice president if he's elected that went, what, 30 times over 30 times to China.
And he went to Tenement Square on the anniversary of the slaughter.
He spent his wedding anniversary there.
He loves China.
He said everybody's equal in China.
So
they're so insidious.
They've never come clean about the Wuhan virus.
They're probably still making another, I don't know, gain of function virus under the auspices of the People's Liberation Army that run the lab in Wuhan.
Going back to Reedney, California, 12 miles by farm where they had all sorts of toxic vira laying on the floor of an old packing house.
What was that all about?
So, So, I don't know.
I get really frustrated because the U.S.
government or the
media or Wall Street or Investment or Silicon Valley,
they just can't, they're unable to be vigilant against China.
And part of the psychological mechanism that they square that circle, because they let China do whatever it wants, then they double down on Russia.
And they say, oh, Russia's interfering.
Paul Manafort, he's an agent.
Mike Flynn, call the Russian ambassador.
Oh.
And they didn't do that.
But that's how they say, well, we're really looking for collusion and interference.
No, you're not.
Because if you were,
there'd be Chinese people arrested all over the place.
And you would look at Hunter Biden and getting on a plane on Air Force 2 and flying into China and
trying to
romance and flatter all these Chinese to give them 20 their family they contributed to that 27 million dollars so china interferes and colludes far more than any other country and they can't do anything about it because they're implicit in it so then they find other what places to divert our attention yeah
well i what i thought was funny is some commentators were talking about how she was the DEI advocate in her job.
And so they were saying that's a perfect Chinese position.
It is.
That will bring mediocrity to the top and ineffectual companies.
Exactly.
Exactly.
They love DEI.
And remember during Wuhan, as soon as Trump issued that travel ban, you're racist.
This is memories of the 19th century,
yellow peril.
and what you did.
They were really good at it.
And well, I shouldn't say they were really good at it.
All they did was go up on a couple of left-wing websites and say, what are the talking points to see how you hate America and can blame it?
And they just embrace them
and
regurgitate them.
Anyway,
it's pathetic.
Yeah, it sure is.
On that issue of Walt saying everyone is equal in China, does he realize that half the Chinese people haven't ever seen a doctor?
Like what the statistics are on this?
Everybody is equal.
I'm so much better off being in this unequal
society in the United States.
He's a useful idiot.
He's one of these people that the Chinese gave him money for his trips.
So he would take a bunch of impressionable high school kids and then he'd go over and a low-level Chinese person that contributed to the free junket that he and his wife were on would show him specific places that were not representative of China as a whole.
And then he would give these propaganda talks to high school kids and go back and go to lions clubs and local civic organizations and brag on China.
And their view is that we'll have hundreds and thousands of these stupid, useful idiots, and then we will permeate the United States with this message.
Yeah.
Didn't that economist do that too?
Yeah, absolutely.
They're everywhere.
I know people that are on Chinese boards and they're everywhere.
And
it's
I once saw a scholar stand up and say Mao wasn't so bad as everybody makes out.
I was like, okay,
70 million people dead later.
Well, Biden's point woman, remember her?
She was
working for Obama, and she gave a lecture when she said her high school hero was Mao Zedong.
That's at the height of the cultural revolution when
he did the impossible.
He became the world's greatest mass murderer with his forced starvations.
70 million people he butchered, starved to death.
He outdid Stalin and Hitler combined.
And yet, I think her name was Anita Dunn, and
she's still around.
Now she's licking her wounds.
She's really angry that they had this coup that got rid of Joe Biden.
Oh, excuse me.
She's really angry for about a week, and then they probably have bought her off, and she's now employed for Harris because they've all flocked to Harris.
And
she's got her hands on all that money that Joe Biden raised, $300 plus million dollars in that kitty.
Yeah.
Well, one person who is not anybody's fool is Elon Musk, but he's got himself in quite a pickle in Brazil, I understand, that they've shut down X and made it illegal to get onto your X account.
And they're threatening Starlink if Starlink doesn't make X unavailable to Brazilians.
And so I was wondering your thoughts on this.
He can handle, yeah, he can handle Brazil.
What he's worried about, and he should be worried, is there's backdoor praise on social media by people in the Biden and Harris camp and the left in America because they hate Elon Musk.
They hate him because he's a Renaissance man.
We've never seen anybody like him.
We've talked about that with redoing an entire social media platform,
pioneering space exploration, single-handedly making the United States
superior in the so-called space race.
And then in addition to that, the only person that's in the history of the 20th century, 21st century that broke the big three monopoly, no one else had ever been to do with Tesla, and revolutionized
electric vehicles.
So they hate him because he's not one of them anymore.
And yet
what Brazil is trying to say is, all you communist countries in Latin America, we're going to go toe-to-toe with Elon, and we're going to beat him, and then we're going to get, is it bright skies or whatever?
There's a left, there's people in the United States that have a left-wing social media platform, server platform, and they want to at least peel off a billion people that are communist or hard left.
It brings up a larger question, though.
We've lost Latin America.
Obador is now leaving, and he's trying to subvert the Supreme Court and the Congress of Mexico, such as it is.
His replacement is to the left of him.
So he's a communist, and another hyper-communist is coming in.
Remember, everybody, he was the one that said to Mexican-American expatriates, be sure you do not vote for Republicans.
And then he said it was a beautiful thing that he was able to put 30, 40,
he, meaning iconic of Mexico, illegal aliens into the United States.
And then he cooperated with Biden to cool things down so they could say, oh, there's less people crossing than any time during the Trump administration.
And that's all staged so they don't embarrass Harris.
And then as soon as she's elected, they're going to open,
Mexico will open the gates again to the welcome.
greetings of the Harris administration, who sees each person who crosses illegally, resides illegally as A, a constituent for big government subsidies, higher taxes, more social programs, and B, a voter.
And so
Mexico is lost.
Venezuela is lost.
Brazil is lost.
Peru is lost.
Bolivia is lost.
And
what do you want to say about it?
Elon Musk, and part of that, when I say lost, that is
they are adopting the Castroite paradigm.
Their closest
allies in foreign policy are China and Russia, and they favor Iran, they favor Hamas, they favor Hezbollah, they hate the United States, and they're sending thousands of people here.
Is that a smart thing to do, to take people from those countries?
No.
There's so many insidious ways in which this Biden-Harris project really weakened the United States.
And you can really see their attitude about the United States in one brief demonstration, and that was the moment his polls became
unsustainable, the backroom politicos and the donors told Joe Biden, you embarrassed us.
They didn't care if he embarrassed, if he had had that debate with Donald Trump and he had done as poorly as he did, but his polls were 10 points ahead, do you think they would have got rid of him?
No.
It was only because he embarrassed them to the degree that he was going to lose the election and the ticket, down ticket was going to lose.
And then they said to the American people, think about it.
We have such such contempt that we don't want this guy representing us, but we want him representing you.
There we are.
Yeah.
Well, Victor, let's go ahead and take a break again and then come back because Tucker Carlson recently had an interview with a historian that he called one of America's most honest, popular historians.
And he had some strange things to say.
So stay with us and we'll be right back.
Welcome back to the Victor Davis-Hansen Show.
So Victor Tucker Carlson, it's been going around, had a very interesting interview with a man by the name of Darryl Cooper.
I've never heard of him.
Apparently, he is either an amateur historian, a novice historian, or I just saw this morning a pseudo-historian, depending upon your point of view.
But he did say that Churchill was culpable for World War II or the wars
in World War II going on and on or continuing because the Germans really did want to bring peace.
And that then he, in a different venue, I believe this is the same historian said the Nazi death camps were a result of Germans having to take so many war prisoners.
Yeah, I mean, I was in flying from Hillsdale and I got a lot of requests, and people sent me this.
And I think
there was an interview by this fellow, Darrell Cooper, who has a blog.
I'm not sure he's a formal historian.
And he kind of resurrected the Pat Buchanan view of World War II, that it was the Allies who started it, and we would have been better off not fighting it.
And I think...
15 years ago, I did an interview.
I think it's on Barry Weiss's substack with Christopher Hitchens, where
we critique that view.
I had no personal animus of Pat Ben.
I like Tucker Carlson.
He's done me so many favors.
He was very magnanimous for five or six years.
Every Tuesday night, I went on a show.
I liked him.
I still like him.
But I think when he has these platforms, I think what he does is he wants different views.
And then what happens is some of these people get on there and they know that he's got a huge audience and they go to town and it reflects badly on the show because
it's nonsense.
And you mentioned these things.
And I just wrote,
it's listed at Powerline.
It'll be on my website.
A complete
refutation.
He thinks the war was started by the Allies because they declared on September 3rd war against Hitler and he didn't declare war because he invaded Poland and he didn't think they were going to do it.
Oh, he didn't think they were going to do it.
Why do they have to do it?
If they hadn't have done it, there would have been, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no, no.
They did it because of the Anschluss, the Sudetenland.
They did it because of Munich.
They did it because he was killing people already in Germany that
had physical difficulties or were communists or were homosexuals.
He'd already opened Dachau.
He was rounding up Jews, Kristallnach.
He was doing all of that.
And then he invaded Poland when he said he had no more territorial ambitions.
And they said, don't do it.
And then he did it.
And what did he do the first thing he went into Poland?
He started killing Jews.
He didn't do it because of the war.
He didn't do it because of tensions.
He didn't do it because he was forced to.
He was in the driver's seat.
And the first thing that came in his mind was to butcher Jews in Poland.
Second thing was to bomb civilian centers.
Mr.
Cooper said the United States and Britain were culpable because they used terrorist bombing.
He said they bombed the Black Forest.
Do you believe that?
That was just so silly for him to say that.
In
1939 and 1940, 1941, by 1940, with the complete collapse of Western Europe, Britain was all alone.
We were isolationists.
Soviet Union was collaborating on the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
All of Europe, every capital in Europe was either pro-Nazi or actively Nazi or occupied by Nazis.
Britain's army had had been depleted, had barely survived Dunkirk, and it was flying mostly with two-engine bombers all the way across occupied France and the Low Countries where there were German fighter bases.
And they were thinking of anything to stop that juggernaut.
And they came up with an idea to incinerate some forests, some of them around Berlin, and cause fires.
And he said this was a terrible bomb.
You know, they quit in about a week, two weeks.
It was just completely not feasible.
The bombers that went over there were shot down, the fires didn't start, and yet he's talking about terrorism.
And he seems to think that the Nazis didn't start it.
Terror bombing, I'll be very careful, terror bombing, the deliberate targeting of non-military civilian centers was started by Nazi Germany.
It was consistent
with Nazi ideology.
They did it in Poland before anybody on the Allied side did it.
And then in May, when they went into the Low Countries, on the way to France, they bombed the center of Rotterdam.
They completely wiped it out.
They destroyed it.
There was no military value.
There was a civilian residential center.
And the British started to go back into Germany, and they tried to bomb, and they were very ineffectual.
This is not Dresden or Hamburg yet.
They went into...
during the Blitz and they bombed and destroyed Coventry.
And then they switched from military targets because they could not knock Britain out of the war and they firebombed London.
You know, everything about that interview, I was so,
it was so bogus.
He said that, you know, you just mentioned that,
oh,
they didn't have any idea that when they went into Russia, they were going to have two million prisoners.
So they couldn't deal with them.
It wasn't that it was planned.
They just
it was like, what do we do with it?
No, No, no, no, no, no, no.
There was something that we call in the West the
orders, the kill orders, you know what I mean?
They were a whole series of Fuhrer directives.
And I'm talking about March, April, May on the
eve of the invasion, the criminal orders.
And they were a series of five or six that Hitler said to the Wehrmacht.
He said, when you go in there, we're going to kill the Commissars.
You're going to kill Jews.
You're going to kill intellectuals.
And you're not going to abide by the Geneva Convention.
You're not going to do it.
And that was just
common knowledge, Sammy.
And they didn't.
And that was the point.
It's consistent with everything they had done before the war.
It was consistent with what he said in Mein Kamp.
And when he, if you look at Halder, the chief of staff of the German army, he said in his diary, this is a war of extermination, and we don't have the resources or the desire to deal with the 2 million prisoners.
So they just let him die.
And that's what they wanted to do.
But to say that, well, it was kind of an accident.
They didn't mean to do it.
And the Holocaust was kind of inadvertent.
And then
he said that Churchill was a terrorist and a warmonger.
because Churchill then turned down peace offerings.
Churchill,
all during the late 30s, was trying to tell Stanley Baldwin, the Conservative government, the prime minister, and then Shaman, arm, arm, arm, arm, arm.
If you don't arm, they will attack us.
If we attack us, there will be war.
He said, don't disgrace yourself because you'll get war.
Deter and you won't get it.
He didn't want a war.
And he was trying to warn people the only way to prevent this madman was to scare him by being more powerful than he was.
And then after he invaded Poland and was successful, this Cooper says, well, he offered a peace.
Yeah, he offered a peace because he looked at
the map and he said,
I'm in the driver's seat.
And they went to
that.
He said, why did you declare war on me?
And they said, as I said, they declared war on.
We declared war on you because you broke every agreement and you're slaughtering people and we know what you're going to do next.
And you're on the side of the Russians.
So then he went into
Denmark in April and Norway.
And then, of course, in May, the invasion of the Low Countries and France.
So then Cooper says, well, then he offered peace.
Think of that statement.
Yes, he now had gobbled up all of Western Europe.
Russia was still on his side.
America wasn't in the war, and little old Britain was all by itself, and he was eyeing them.
And he was basically saying to Britain with a gun to their head, you don't have a chance, and we're willing to let you have certain concessions.
And they discussed it.
The warmonger Churchill, he had a war cabinet.
He said, you know what?
You can't trust this man.
And I know what he wants.
He wants to put us into
a situation like France will be shortly, i.e., bataan, and it won't work.
And we'll probably have to give up our sovereignty, stop rearming.
We'll probably bring Edward VIII back.
the abdicated Hope Senson buffoon who was a pro-Nazi.
And we'll probably have David
Lord Jones, George, who was now not pro-Nazi, but a defeatist.
And we'll have that crazy Oswald Mosley in here,
and we'll live as a second.
But you go ahead, just go talk to Mussolini if you want, and you'll see what happens.
So, you know, Halifax and all the people, they went over and Mussolini basically said, no way, we're winning.
Why would we give you any conditions?
We're going to declare war on France and get some spoils.
No.
And then
Cooper says,
and then he decided that he was still willing to deal, he was still willing to deal with Britain.
You know why, Sammy?
Because Rader and Dernetz, his admirals, came to him and said, Mein Fuhrer,
they have 10 to 1 battleships.
They have more cruisers.
They have more destroyers.
And there's no way in the world we can go across the channel.
We will get over there.
Even if we got over there, we'd be stranded.
No one has ever done it except Caesar
and William the Conqueror, and we're not going to be able to do it.
And
he started to postpone Operation Sea Lion.
And then they said, we can't, there's no way that we can bomb.
We don't have a four-engine bomber.
We don't have a
air superiority.
The submarine Spitfire, when used in concert with a hurricane, diving from high speeds, it is taking an unsustainable wall.
And then Hitler said, well, we're willing to have a peace with you.
So Cooper interprets that.
Well, he turned them down.
Well, he was basically saying, we're willing to have a peace with you because, A, we can't invade you and we can't defeat you by land or sea by air.
Therefore, here's peace terms.
Because he wanted to turn to the Soviet Union and stab them, who was his partner.
And that's what he did.
So then he said, we'll never be able to conquer Britain.
We tried.
Well, we offered them peace terms, and now they're smart because because they know we're weak and we can't take them.
So
the only way we can get rid of the last
opposition
and do it before the U.S.
comes in is to attack Russia.
Once we attack Russia, then we will tell Britain you have no friends.
The Russians are conquered and the Americans now will never come in.
But to say that he offered them peace and he turned it down is just, it's, you know what I mean?
It's just, it's just bizarre.
It's ridiculous.
And didn't you show in your your history, the Second World Wars, that Hitler broke all of his
agreements anyway?
He would have just done it long enough until he had power to overwhelm them, and then he would have gone in and done it.
He did.
And
the thing is,
so what started World War II?
Well, Hitler started it because he invaded Poland and then he was, they told him not to do it.
He had had the Munich Agreement and he gobbled up an autonomous Czechoslovakia, which he said he wouldn't do.
He just wanted the Sudetenland and a protectorate.
And once he did that, you would think he'd be so happy because Chamberlain was completely disgraced.
Okay, he was still prime minister.
He was still prime.
He got smart.
I mean, he was weak and naive.
And Churchill actually, far from being a warmonger, he was very empathetic to the disgraced Chamberlain.
He invited him on May 10th when he was made prime minister.
He said to the former prime minister of Chamberlain, you can come in my war cabinet because you saw the light.
And he said later, maybe the guy was just fooled and naive and thought that you could believe Hitler.
He didn't want to steal any more land.
Or maybe he thought he could talk, talk, talk and delay Hitler and then we could rearm.
And there was something to that.
Hitler was not, I mean, Churchill was not eager for war.
He was eager to rearm to prevent war.
And he was very nice to Chamberlain.
But what started the war was
they told Hitler, and his advisors told Hitler, if you go into Poland, they will declare war on you.
And it was going to be hard to go into Poland, I mean, for the French and the British to declare war because they had populations that were not necessarily wanting to go to war after what had happened, 17 million people killed in World War I.
But once they saw what he was doing in Poland, I mean, it wasn't that he was coarsened by the war.
The moment they got in there, they started killing Jews on spec.
But the only thing
that Cooper doesn't understand is when he says that the Allies waged a war of terrorism,
World War II was caused because the Allies, who were far stronger than Germany, Italy, and Japan in terms of population, in terms of GDP, in terms of potential
area, potential munitions.
And it was absolutely crazy for Hitler to go into Poland and then to attack Russia and then for the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbor and to put the British Empire and the vast Soviet Union and the dynamo of the United States all on the same side.
And he did that.
And the reason that that he did that was
in 1939 when he went into Poland
Britain and France had appeased him for five or six years and he didn't think that they were serious.
The United States was isolationist and he didn't think they had it in them to go to war and the Russians were collaborationist.
And so he went in there
and
they sized him up, Britain and France, and said, uh-uh, we can't deal with this killer.
And then he went into the Soviet Union and Stalin said, that guy stabbed me in the back.
We can't deal with this killer.
And then the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and we said, we see what these killers are like.
And then all three of them reached their potential.
That is, they mobilized about 30 million soldiers.
Two-to-one advantage.
The GDP of the United States, as I said before, was larger by the end of the war than all the six belligerents put together.
And they started to kill and destroy.
And they took took up the Axis word that it was going to be a total war.
They said, okay, you want a total war?
You're killing civilians.
You're doing this.
We're going to destroy you.
We're not going to do what we did in World War I because it doesn't work with you people.
No armistice, Germany.
And that's how it happened.
And then, you know, when he said that the Allies were so harsh, and they meant the Versailles Treaty.
The Versailles Treaty, the problem with the Versailles Treaty wasn't that it was harsh.
It was humiliated with no means of enforcement.
So you tell the defeated Germans, it was your fault, but we're scared to occupy your country, and we're going to let you claim that you were never defeated and surrendered in France 70 miles inside the border on November 11th.
Therefore, we humiliated you by saying it was your fault, but we were afraid to force you to follow the rules.
And then they broke all the Versailles Treaty.
It was much more indulgent with the Germans' plan for France.
They had something called the September September program in 1914, where the Kaiser's sweep around, the Greek cartwheel around Paris worked.
You know what they were going to do?
They were going to take Belgium permanently and they were going to take the Atlantic fort cities from France permanently.
It was much, Versailles was much softer to Germany than what Germany had done to Russia in 1918 under Brest-Latawitz.
You know what they did to them?
They just took 50 million people in a million square mile, almost the size of the Roman Empire in Western Europe.
Yeah, didn't they take the bolt?
Wasn't it the Bolt?
Yeah, they took everything.
All they didn't want was the Asia parts.
And it was much, it was, gosh, it was so much, Versailles was a joke compared to what we did after World War II.
We said, no, no, no, no, no Versailles, no peace conference, I'm sorry.
No stab-in-the-back excuses.
We're going to go into your country and we're going to invade it and we're going to occupy it and we're going to destroy you and Japan and Italy, and then we're going to put a gun to your head and make you have a constitutional government.
And so,
did it work?
Apparently it has, because Italy, Japan, and Germany are all humane nations.
Did it work after World War I?
No.
And why?
Because it was too harsh?
No.
Because it was too soft, but it had...
language that was humiliating.
So you don't talk loud and carry a quick twig, you talk softly.
And that's what Churchill and Roosevelt did at Casablanca, 43.
They said, you know what, we're going to have an unconditional surrender.
We want to warn the Axis powers.
We didn't start this war, but there's going to be no negotiations.
None.
Zero.
We're going to fight this to the end.
And that's what they did.
And so they employed techniques of total war that the Axis had started and thought no one else would ever do it.
That's exactly what Bommer Harris said when he went into Dresden and Hamburg.
He said, they sowed the wind and they're going to reap the whirlwind.
And what he meant by that was they started a war, they bombed Polish civilians, they tried to destroy Rotterdam, they burned down Coventry.
We couldn't really react much because we didn't have the wherewithal.
But now, you know what?
There's occupied France as ours, and they don't have German bases in France, and we can fly the first 800 miles across the channel all the way to Germany, and we're going to have friendly aircraft, and we have fighter escort, and we have now, you know, not little two-engine bombers, we have a Lancaster bomber and B-24s and updated B-17s and we have good navigation and fighter escort and we have friendly land below us and we're going to do to you what you wanted to do and tried to do to us.
And that's what he thinks is terror.
And I don't get that at all.
Again, I like Tucker Carlson because I think he's trying to open up lines of discussion, but on this particular topic of World War II, this is not original.
It's just an update of Pat Buchanan's.
And it's the same thing.
What prompted it is the Ukraine war and what prompted Buchanan was the Iraq war, as if misadventures in the modern world then explain
backwards the misadventure of going into World War II and then ending up with the Soviet Union, our former ally as our new enemy.
You fight the wars at the time.
Everybody knew who Stalin was.
There were naive people in the Roosevelt administration.
But Harry Truman wised up.
And when it was all over, the Soviet Union lost 27 million people and they killed three out of four German soldiers.
And that was what we did.
We basically said to Stalin,
You don't have to bomb.
We will bomb.
We will bomb their factories in Japan and Italy and Germany.
You don't have to have a blue water fleet.
We will destroy the German fleet.
We will blockade Germany and Japan.
You do not have to go into North Africa.
You do not have to go
into Italy.
You do not have to fight in Western Europe.
You do not have to fight in Asia.
We will do that.
You don't have to fight in North Africa.
You don't have to have submarines.
You don't have to have...
much of anything.
Expedition.
All we ask you to do is defend your own soil and kill Germans.
And we will supply 20 to 25%
of all the things you can't make.
You guys are really good at making artillery, at heavy machinery, and especially tanks, just go to it.
And what we will do is we will give you the finesse.
We will give you 400 trucks so all your divisions are motorized.
We will give you ponchos.
We will give you radios.
We will give you sea rations.
We will give you food.
We will give you aluminum, whatever you need.
that you can concentrate on the other side of the Ural Mountains, your factories.
And it worked.
And then basically when the war was over, the United States lost 450,000 dead, Britain, 420,000, Soviet Union, 27 million.
And that was the strategy.
And you can call it cynical, you can call it brilliant, but it was not trying to start World War II.
The United States tried to stay out of as long as they could, and so did Chamberlain and Britain.
And when he says that Churchill was a warmonger, it's only because Churchill was the only voice that said in Britain,
you know what Churchill said, Sammy?
He was really mixed because he said, we're not going to come out of this well.
He understood that after the Depression, and you look
after World War I, when you looked at key indices, how much debt
Britain owed about
$4 billion to the United States.
It owed about
one and a half billion.
This is when a billion was like a trillion dollar.
It owed that to the empire, Australia, Canada, New Zealand.
It was completely broke.
And he saw that.
It was way overextended.
And he knew that if Britain went to war, A, it would lose its empire, and it did.
It would be impoverished, and it was, and it would lose its world-class reputation and stature as an adjudicator of
world peace and the policemen of the world and it did and the United States would take over that role in opposition to the Soviet Union and yet it went he went to war and he didn't and he only went to war because Chamberlain but especially Stanley Baldwin had lost deterrence that that's just a fact
and
I don't quite know when I read the Tucker interview I was really surprised because Tucker's a really smart guy and
I don't know
well maybe he'll post post this next to his interview with the guy or something like that, because he surely should.
As you were talking, I just have one observation.
It seems to me that Netanyahu is in the very same position as Churchill, and the accusations that he's not doing enough for a ceasefire are the same thing as saying Churchill didn't take the peace agreement with Hitler.
Netanyahu just really
can't do that because he's fighting Hamas that's as bad, if not worse, than the Nazi regime.
Well, that's interesting you said that because in the posting that someone sent me, Coop, they're very critical of Israel.
And
the argument is the same, that it's a war model.
Israel doesn't want a war.
He didn't want a war.
They were booming on October 7th.
Their whole policy, in fact, was
to
kind of play Hamas off against the Palestinian Authority and actually
try to, what would be the word, not buy off, but acculturate Hamas to peace.
In other words, let 20,000 people from Hamas-controlled Gaza come into the kibbutzes and the farms and then see how well it works and get to know the Israeli leftist.
And when they get injured, go to a sophisticated ER room, be treated very nice, and then they will look at that magnanimity and reciprocate in kind.
And then look at the skyscrapers, look at the
desalinization plants, look at the freeway system, and compare it to Gaza or the West Bank, and for that matter, Egypt or Jordan or Syria or any other surrounding country and say, you can do this.
Myself, I had been to Israel and I was very worried that
this was very naive.
People on the Arab side who looked at that looked at it with envy and jealousy and anger rather than with lenses of emulation.
And that's exactly what happened.
But they did not want this war, and
they were not deterring this war.
And they knew that Hezbollah had 150,000 rockets, and Hamas probably had 20,000.
They've already been targeted by about 15,000 rockets from Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran altogether.
And
their economy is really in trouble.
The Israeli,
it's been in a,
I don't know, it's been in crisis.
Yeah, sure.
A war would do that.
Very hard to get goods in and out of Israel at this point, obviously.
So
their economy is going to continue to suffer until they can get out of this war.
Well, we'll see, but
Israel right now,
if you look at it,
how would you put it?
It's kind of amazing, Sami, where they are.
Can you think of an ally of Israel?
I can't.
The Europeans are against it.
Russia and China are against it.
The United States has betrayed it.
And they're surrounded.
The Houthis have sent missiles.
Hezbollah on their northern flank has forced 100,000.
Israelis away from the border.
They're without homes.
Hamas butchered 1,200 people.
They're in a war in God.
And Iran, for the first time in the history of the Jewish state, sent 300 rockets or drones onto Israeli soil.
And yet they're alive.
They have just almost destroyed Hamas.
They're going to turn to Hezbollah, and they probably will destroy Hezbollah.
And if Iran wants to get in a war, they have the ability, they've proven now, to do a lot of damage to Iran.
And so I don't, I just think it's quite amazing that they don't have any friends.
We betrayed them.
They're surrounded by 500 million hostile Muslims.
And they're confident that they can survive and do their enemies a lot of damage and deter them.
And this administration, if you think about it, they have lost all control of the Red Sea.
They've ceded it to the Houthis, these pre-civilizational creeps.
And every time they send over a $50, $500 drone, we have to reply with a
$5 million cruise missile.
And they know that.
And what Biden will not do is tell the Houthis, if you keep trying to destroy American assets and if you try to shut down the major waterway into the Suez Canal and all traffic into the Mediterranean, we are going to do, take your grid, hit this, hit that, and we're just going to keep doing it.
And that's what we're going to do to you.
And they would stop it.
This administration has lost control of the Red Sea, one of the most important waterways in the world.
They have lost control of the Black Sea, one of the most important waterways to Asia from the Mediterranean.
It's gone.
It's a war zone.
Can't go in there with commercial vessels.
It has lost control of the Straits of Hormuz.
They're harassed.
It has lost control of the eastern Mediterranean.
along the shores of Lebanon or Syria.
It's very Argazi.
It's very dangerous.
So
the whole world, it's kind of like creepy people coming out of the woodwork because there's no pest controller.
You know what I mean?
We just quit.
And it's really changed radically, especially when you look at these seedlings and these bodies of water.
They've lost control of the South China Sea.
China's basically announced, I mean, they're ramming Philippine ships.
They've got the Sproutly Islands that they expropriated.
You can't go really in between China and Taiwan without their de facto permission.
And if there was a war with Taiwan, our carrier would be blown up in a minute if it went in there.
So all of these key waterways are now taboo or they're too dangerous because of the, and we were, as I said earlier, we're short, what, 37 ships in the Merchant Marine.
The Navy is short itself, sailors.
The whole military is short, 45,000, 50,000 recruits.
This is what the Harris-Biden people did.
And
it's very serious.
It is.
You can see as we talk around the world, you have Brazil doing this to Elon Musk.
You've got China ramming Philippine ships.
You've got Russia now saying, Putin said that if this attack on Mother Russia continues,
then
there's going to be ramifications for those who supply the weapons to hit Russian soil.
And he's threatened.
threatened.
Again, everybody laughs about it.
I discuss it on the end of everything.
It's not so funny.
That's something.
They just hit two.
Did you see that picture of the American sailors in Izmir?
That those
Turkish gang toughs, they went and attacked American sailors in civilian clothes.
The weird thing is they tried to put bags over their head as if they were going to take them hostage.
This is our NATO ally.
And they they were there to train turkish nay navy personnel and they got off the boat and they went into izmir i've been to zmir a lot and they were attacked right on the street this is the logical extension of the erudoyan hate and and everybody's saying to them wait a minute this is a nato country They threatened to go into Gaza.
They threatened to attack Israel with rockets.
They threatened to send rockets into Greece, a NATO member.
They threatened to take the Dodecanese islands that are Greek.
They threatened the Armenians and said they were so happy that they just ethnically cleansed 150,000 of the Turkish people of Aberbajan.
They threatened to veto Finland and Sweden coming into NATO.
They are unreliable and really on the side of Russia.
Why are they in NATO?
Why do U.S.
ships even stop there?
Why do we have several nuclear bombs at Iserlach Air Force Base?
It's absolutely insane.
They are an enemy.
They're not a friend of the United States.
And
that's going on as we speak all around the world.
I mean,
look at it.
It's the Houthis.
They just torched a Greek tanker that's leaking oil.
Where's all the green people?
Oh, where's Greta Thunberg?
Why didn't she say?
Oh, my God, there's oil.
She's protesting against Israel.
Can you imagine imagine if Israel hit a tanker and it had oil all over the Mediterranean, what she would be saying?
She doesn't say a word about the Houthis because they're cowards.
Yeah.
If she said something about the Houthis, oh, this radical Islamist government is destroying the environment in the Red Sea, she's afraid that some crazy immigrant would blow her up.
Well, yeah, but it also shows you that her brain is disturbed and not rational.
So who would listen to her anyway?
But
there you have it.
Victor, if you have any voters out there right now listening to you and they've been dithering about whether to vote for Trump or not, they're not dithering anymore, I hope.
Oh, I hope not.
You can just pick your issue.
If you're worried about the border and 10 million people and what Mexico has become under Obador as an enemy,
and
almost every single day there's a rape or killing by an
and I've noticed they're using the word migrant.
We talked about that, not illegal alien, not illegal immigrant, migrant, as if they don't come or go.
They're just there, moving around, as if we're American citizens.
If you're worried about that, if you're worried the crime, they just shot four people in Chicago on a subway.
They had a mass shooting in Georgia.
If you're worried about crime, if you're worried about what we just talked about, the lack of deterrence, if you're worried about paying more under Biden with interest rates on the debt in history, $1.2 trillion a year, it's larger than defense budget.
If you're worried that our defense is a wreck, that we have DEI, there was just a story today, Sammy, about kind of a DEI
officer on a ship who she decided, you know what she did?
She wanted to get the internet.
So she just rigged up a secret starlink on this military vessel so she and her friends could secretly get an internet, Snapchat, all their friends, which were not secure, on a U.S.
military ship.
And then they knew there was rumors about it and they knew it and they couldn't find it.
Can you imagine that?
The spies were on their ship.
And you know what they did?
They just court-martialed, but they didn't demote her.
She's still, I mean, they demoted her one rank.
She's still there.
She needed to be
dishonorably discharged.
She needed to be jailed as a traitor.
And
so that's where our U.S.
military is.
We're spending more on interest on the debt than we are.
And even if we were spending more on the military than we are on the debt, there's something sick about our acquisitions.
We've got to stop this revolving door where we get all of these military people, they come out, they get on Raytheon, General Dynamics, Northrop, Lockheed, and then they sell these big ticket items.
And yet we learn from the Ukrainian war and we learn from from Gaza that
it's kind of like World War II now the side that builds the most
the most reliable the most numerous the cheapest swarms the other side so what we're doing is what Germany did in World War II we're building the equivalent of King Tiger tanks, very small numbers, very expensive, very big, very formidable, and very useless, or V-2 and V-1 rockets.
And they are doing what we did, building tens of thousands, one an hour, of B-24 bombers, of 50,000 good Sherman tanks, of thousands of
cheaply made howitzers, millions of vehicle, that kind of stuff.
We should be having huge drone plants right now.
We should be making drone carriers with 10,000 drones on them.
And we're not doing that.
Our enemies are doing that.
We're not.
So there's
so many reasons not to vote for this ticket.
And if you're worried that almost every day in the paper, you see some type of racial incident.
And what I'm really worried about is when you see these attacks and they're racially, there's a racial component, go look at the comments.
And I'm not just talking from the New York Post.
I mean anything.
And there's been a series of violent crimes where young African-American males have killed or raped people of the opposite race, sometimes Latino, sometimes white.
And in an inordinate fashion, given the 12%, 88%,
six times more likely to be offenders than the other people are to be perpetrators of interracial crimes.
But I'm not interested in that.
I'm interested in the response, the comments.
People,
it's scary what they're saying.
I mean, it's pretty racist.
And it's not just white people, it's everybody.
And so you're getting a degree of racial polarization I've never seen.
And part of it is DEI.
Part of it is a rising crime rate.
Part of it is this reparations that, you know, there's a bill in the California legislature that
I think has temporarily died.
If Newsome were to sign it, he'd be all through.
But my point is,
we've reached maximum racial tension.
And when Camilla Harris is stroking that, she really is.
And Trump is responding in kind.
And I don't know where it's going to go.
But if you're sick of all this, then I think, and you vote for the continuance of another three years of Biden-Harris, then
you get what you vote for.
And it's going to be really,
I don't know.
What she said she's going to do
is scary.
A wealth tax.
If she has a wealth tax, a tax on unearned income, if she raises the already high federal income tax to 39%,
if she raises the capital gains to 40%,
and what is she going to do?
She's not going to pay down the debt.
She's just going to redistribute all that money.
And that's why we have a very low labor participation rate.
It's getting down below 62%.
It's because people are being subsidized not to work.
And if she tries to buy people's guns, AR-15s, mandatory buybacks, or if she tries to cancel patents like she said she she would do, that would destroy the pharmaceutical industry, any industry, it would destroy.
And if she is going to adjudicate our foreign policy, and if she thinks she's going to give offensive weapons to Ukraine, not to seek a negotiated settlement, but to go into Russia, if she thinks that Hamas and Hezbollah and Iran are the moral equals of Israel, it's scary to vote for that.
It's
there's a thousand reasons not not to vote for.
It's essentially when you see a campus protest and you walk by and there's people screaming and yelling and harassing Jews and writing graffiti on
walls or monuments, statues, breaking the law, occupying, you're voting for that.
You're voting for the person who said these demonstrations will not stop, nor should they stop.
This is a movement.
Or I'm going to bail you out after
you've been violent and jailed for arson or assault or
theft or looting etc that's what you're voting for yes and the person who said in her interview my values haven't changed yeah well
they haven't uh they temporarily changed their manifestation in the policies and then look at the people one final rant
Today, Liz Cheney came out and said she's going to vote for Kamala Harris.
There is no, everybody remember, there is no such thing nine years after Donald Trump was
came down the elevator in 2015.
There is no such thing as a never Trumper.
They don't exist.
The people who were former Republicans
are now where they always wanted to be.
Everybody understand that?
They're there where they wanted to be.
Liz Cheney is where she wants to be.
She will be socially and culturally accepted by the bi-coastal elite.
She will get a plum university job or media job or investment job.
She is presentable.
She does not represent conservatism.
I don't know if she ever did, because simply this, if you take the Bush-Cheney positions and you put the Trump positions next to them on energy development, on crime, on military spending, on deregulation, on tax, you name it.
They're almost identical except for three or four issues.
Even abortion there.
I think that Bush-Cheney was more restrictive.
Maybe there's a difference on the border.
Bush-Cheney were either not,
there's some, maybe they were open borders.
I don't know.
They didn't really care about it.
It wasn't the critical issue it is now.
They were into nation building.
And
I think Trump after Iraq and Afghanistan, no more optional wars.
But what I'm trying to say, Sammy, is they're very similar.
If you put
what she told everybody to do, or her father, or the bushes, for the last 50 years, and you put that next to the Harris agenda of
grabbing guns or canceling patents or
isolating Israel, abandoning support for Israel,
or
for reparations, or for against fracking or for the new Green Deal.
I could go on and on, but you put that and they're going to vote for that.
That seems essentially what they're saying to us.
All the things I told you to do, all the things Bill Crystal told you to do, all the things Max Boot, all the things David Fromm, all the things George Will told you to do all these years,
and all the things, all of our advocacy, and all of our TV appearances, and all our books, and all our our political activism and all our elections it was all a sham because now we're voting for the exact opposite because the new representative of all the things that we were for is crude he's got a bad accent we think he's a dictator we don't like him and therefore we're going to nullify everything and everybody who is still supporting the agenda that we embody and we told you we were for
so i think they're all back where they want to be and they should just say we're leftist We're just leftists.
We're not never Trumpers.
We're not Republicans.
We're just leftists.
And we kind of wanted to be a leftist.
And Trump gave us the excuse so that we could say that he repelled us.
So now we are embracing candidates and positions that we always wanted.
So Lynn Cheney is basically saying, I'm going to vote not just for Kamala Harris.
I like that open border.
I like the 10 million people who came.
It's a lot better than Trump, who closed the border.
I basically, I don't know, I like the idea that we kind of tell Israel, you know, you're the moral equivalent of Hamas.
You know, that's pretty much what I want to do, but I couldn't say it.
I kind of like DEI and woke.
I think it was long needed.
And I like these source prosecutors.
And I think, you know, that you have the right to buy, to force people to sell their guns.
I really do.
I think that's a good thing.
And I like the New Green Deal.
We just fracked too much.
I know Dick Cheney was involved with Halberton and their oil, but that was, you know,
that was kind of wrong.
And we'd need to cut back on emissions and fossil fuels.
I think you just have to do that.
And I'm pretty much for abortion.
A woman should have a right to terminate a baby in the birth canal at the last month.
So that's what they're for.
And that's where they are.
And they're where they always wanted to be, is the way I look at it.
And so don't use the word never Trumper.
They're not Republicans that they think, do they really think, Sammy, that they're going to help defeat Trump?
And then after four more years of this Marxist-socialist stuff that we've had, the country will be fine.
And then the process,
they're going to have a big convention.
And Mitt Romney and George Will and David Frum and Jonah Goldberg and Bill Kristol
and Max Boot.
and Mona Charon and Liz Cheney and Adam
Kissinger.
They're all going to get together and say, hey, everybody, this is the new Republican Party.
We're right back where we were.
We're right back where we were.
And all of you people who are poor, white, working class in the Middle
West, and all you Hispanic males who have businesses in California, and you 20% of the African American population that joined the MAGA movement, you'll just join us.
You'll see we're all wrong, and you're just going to be
you know, we want to, you know, we want to elect Liz Cheney now.
You think that's going to happen?
They say they're going to unite the Republican Party or reform it.
They're not even going to be put, they would destroy it.
You think anybody would ever follow those people?
Eight to 10 million people got Obama elected because they didn't like that and they were conservative and they didn't vote for it.
They just stayed home.
So they don't have an ability to unite people.
You talk to MAGA people.
I talked to them
rural Michigan for the last nine days.
If you put another Romney-like figure up there and
with
on one side Bill Crystal, on the other side George Will writing their position papers or opposite, they would not vote for it.
I don't know if it's good or bad.
They would not vote for it.
It's a prescription to defeat.
Yes.
And Trump does not need that.
This conservative will not be defeated if people unite.
They can win.
They can win without the never Trumpers.
And I think that's part of their anguish.
Anyway, that's a rant.
That's a wonderful rant, but it will end our show today.
So listeners, please come for the weekend episode because we will be talking about U.S.
crime and immigration.
And I know Victor touched on that today, but we'll go in a little more deeper in some of the stories.
So we welcome you back.
for the next episode, which will be available on Saturday.
But we hope you enjoyed this Friday episode.
And thanks to all our listeners for joining us.
Thank you, everybody.
This is Sammy Wink and Victor David Sanson, and we're signing off.
