If you thought goldenly breaded McDonald's chicken couldn't get more golden, thank golder because new sweet and smoky special edition gold sauce is here.
Made for your chicken favorites.
I participate in McDonald's for a limited time.
You just gotta shave your ears.
I just went and ripped them out.
What shave your ears?
I had a little hair in there, so I just.
I just shaved his ears.
I've never heard anyone plucked it or shaved it.
I just plucked them out.
Okay.
I just went to the bathroom.
I just ripped them right out.
With your finger?
So I look good, bro.
You promised?
Yeah.
He says, I'll show you.
How are you going to show me?
I have to look this way.
Let me hear.
I got you.
I know.
This is important.
That's a fresh guy.
What's your eyeliner?
Look at look at R.
Okay.
You know who I miss?
Your sister.
Literally none.
I look so cute.
No, oh, no.
Oh, I look so cute.
You are a real one, buddy.
I miss you.
How's your sister?
She died.
Shut up, George.
That's the worst.
I am a psycho.
You're a true psycho.
Okay, no, we bless you in Jesus' name.
Let's pray.
Wait, whoa, what?
Yo, you can't just do that.
You can't set me up.
I feel like we just walk in the room and Christ is there, and you're like, yo, you got to set me up for a second.
Have you ever licked that lamp behind you?
What are you talking about?
This is a salt lamp.
If you lick it, it's salty.
Okay, go.
I'm not going to lick it as your salt lamp.
Go lick that.
Well, no, it's not my salt lamp.
I hope this is how we're starting.
Where's your hospitability?
Hospitable.
Yeah, that was it.
Where's your hospitality?
Thank you.
You're welcome.
We got this.
This is the best start to a podcast ever.
Ever.
I mean, I don't know if I'll keep that in, but yeah.
Do you rest your arm like this while you're podcasting?
Can I be honest, when we have a guest, a lot of the time I catch myself and I'm like, oh, I have to relax right now.
Do you're not?
That made me uncomfortable.
Imagine how many of your guests are like.
I'm honest.
I'm open and eyes.
Imagine if you were shooting a personal pressure and you're like, so when did Jesus get you out of sobriety?
Was that any tattoo?
Into sobriety.
The feather?
With the heart?
None of them are.
Actually, I was thinking of getting them all removed.
Why?
Just because I was like, I don't know, it's over.
Tattoo's not a sin.
I just found out.
No, just open up the floodgates right away.
Just open up for a debate.
Not today.
I don't think we're debating.
Okay, unless you want to.
I would love to debate.
Okay.
Just joking, bitch.
Okay.
All right.
Do you guys usually have it just cracked a little bit like that?
Just a little bit.
It makes your eyes look pretty.
It makes you glowy.
You're welcome.
Thank you.
You will look up.
I feel like I'm blowing right now.
By the way, how thirsty are we?
There's.
Okay.
We're hospitable, remember?
Yes.
To our guests, we just want to make sure you have water.
Thank you.
I appreciate it.
So, George just came from Equinox.
He's wearing a lot of moisturizer.
What kind of moisturizer?
You got to do that?
Is this Carrie Underwood comeback?
Yeah.
I called her Carrie Underwood on the Avengers episode, and she got so mad.
He had a bad blowout when he walked in.
I was all, you know, when you're already feeling insecure about something, you always said, what's up, Carrie Underwood?
It's like, you're good.
Get down.
No, I thought that was a compliment.
Get out, George.
I thought that was a compliment.
And then you called my poor friend Amish.
And he called me an Amish woman because I had a dress that was covered in my dress.
No, but you always look like you're ready to turn butter, dude.
You do look like you're ready to turn butter.
No, you look like it, bro.
Like, you look like you're typecast.
Even today, a little bit with the sleeves.
What does this remind you of?
Milk me?
Hello?
I don't know.
What is that?
I confused them with Mormons.
I don't know why.
You said I look like I'm ready to turn butter.
I don't know what's going on.
I realized, like, wait, that's a whole different.
Wait, what is that?
I don't know what are you talking about.
We should start here.
Okay, okay.
And action.
Can we pray really quick?
Do you guys really start actioning?
Yeah, we do.
You guys hold hands?
Yeah, if you want to.
All right, Lord, we love you so much.
God, come.
We invite you, Holy Spirit, to come and just release wisdom, release anointing over this episode.
God, we bless George.
We thank you for his life.
We thank you for his influence.
Just come, Holy Spirit, and let this truly be such a significant, profound episode that breaks chains, that brings people to Jesus, and that just really exalts and glorifies your name, Jesus.
So we love you.
Come, Holy Spirit, and release joy in Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Amen.
What happens if you have a guest that doesn't feel comfortable doing that?
Well, it's a Bible podcast.
Oh, I don't know.
They're fishers of men, you know.
Go out there and go grab them.
That would be it.
Yeah.
I prayed with Bobby Lee once.
That was cool.
I saw that.
I just saw him at the comedy store.
You handled that so well.
I didn't see him.
How was he?
He was really funny.
He's like, he's so beautiful.
I know.
I like him a lot.
The comedy store was a little horrifying, but.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's tough.
Gosh, you know, I used to love comedy so much.
And it is a tough, tough place to be.
Just the jokes.
It's so funny how often people talk about Jesus in their jokes.
Dude, why do they have to make why?
He's the most, okay, so I was actually talking to Belle about this.
Every time either they make fun of him or if they just bring him up, it's so cool to see it because I'm like, wow, he, regardless, you cannot deny his presence.
He's the most famous man alive.
I know.
Like, they have to, even in their like uncomfortable because you got to remember, comedy to them is their therapy.
Totally.
So, people that don't know who God is, they're working things out.
So, if any way, shape, or form, somebody brings up his name, that's a bonus.
Even if it's in a really gross, dark atmosphere, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, something's cooking, something's happening in there.
So, it's cool.
I like watching it.
Honestly, I love that so much.
What?
What are you?
Shut up.
Why does that happen?
She doesn't know what to say.
I love that so much.
Don't even come at each other like that.
Do you guys have any idea how fun it was editing your guys's episode when you guys are like this?
Every, every time.
Oh, no, it was bad.
I saw a lot of us.
Yeah, I did.
Me too.
But am I a real one for letting you guys?
No.
No, you're not.
Wait, a real one for what?
I was like, hey guys, you know, you guys say
a lot.
Did you say that?
Yeah, I did.
That's why people make fun of us the most because we do that.
I know we've gotten so much better, though.
It's gotta end.
Has it gotten so much better?
We still.
Your ears are so sassy, or you're feeling it.
It's just like both.
A little bit of both.
I like it.
No, and I really do love that so much, what you said.
Okay, I really do love that so much.
And I was going to transition into our opening.
Do you mind?
Praying again?
No, we don't need to pray again.
Hi.
Hi, I'm Manch.
And I'm Ari.
And I'm George.
Yep, this is George.
He's our third co-host of the Girls Gone Bible podcast.
Surprise.
Surprise.
Everybody, your audience is like, dude, who is this guy?
Yeah,
yeah.
Everybody's like, who is this guy?
Yeah, I'm sure.
Well, the ones who don't know me.
Well, thanks for having me, guys.
I really appreciate it.
Yeah, guys, this is George Jenko.
I don't know if you know him, but this is George Jenko.
We love George on this podcast.
We've had him on before.
If you guys know his podcast, literally the George Djanko podcast or show, George Denko,
you're almost there.
You're almost there.
You didn't give me a show.
Let's take it from the top, actually.
I'll walk in.
Okay.
Anyways, me and George were just fighting over the mirror over getting ready for this episode.
Yeah, I look so oily.
My wife is like, you should moisturize.
I'll never listen to my wife again with that stuff.
When you moisturize, I feel like my face is a slipping slide right now, dude.
It's not even oily.
It's really the thing about your culture.
You're just not going to age.
Like, it's so annoying.
You said that with such anger.
you're like well it is you guys are not gonna age is that what moisturizing is for is de-aging yeah or it's for hydration i'm i you know waxed my eyebrows yesterday
yeah and well i have to every three days or it's just do you really who does it for you you do it yourself no there's this girl named nitu she's indian and i love that because i'm like guess what i need to do
my eyebrows She loves it.
I've said that joke so many times.
I've said she loves everything.
I guess that anyway.
She comes over?
No, not realistically.
She would love to, actually, because by the time she has to crank her neck doing my yeah just hanging out over there i need to stop okay it's gonna be normal you know i was doing crowd work and this girl had her arm like this crowd work what's up so follow me i do comedy oh and crowd work is when you like work with the crowd yeah yeah yeah you up to date yeah so i'm doing crowd work right this is crowd work by the way
so i'm doing crowd work and dude this crowd is hard they're all drunk a girl's falling off of the table a girl's talking to her friend on the phone and she's loud i'm trying to ring these guys dude.
I'm trying to reign these cats in, dude.
So finally, I'm like, boom, boom, and I'm on fire with this crowd work.
And then I turned to the girl and I was like, she looks so sassy because her arm's in a cast like this.
I'm like, hey, little sassy Sally.
Like, how did you get your arm like that?
And she goes, ah, had a stroke.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, no.
She had a stroke.
That's really sad.
Oh my gosh.
I am.
That is sad.
Can we replay her?
She looked like she got hit by a bus.
She goes, ha ha, oh, oh.
What did you, Iron?
What did you say, How?
I just made a joke about how I could have gone to hell, but I have my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to thank me for forgiving my sins.
Okay,
did you guys escape?
Yeah, of course.
Steve, Jesus.
Can I have some coffee?
Well, I wasn't ready for that one.
The poor girl had a stroke.
Yeah, but she's okay now.
We have five later.
She's fine.
Right with the other arm.
You know, I thought you were going to say, like, you kicked her arm out or something.
That would have been sad.
Oh, my God.
Is that why you...
No, dude.
I make fun of them.
I don't hit them.
Okay.
listen George.
I'm just starting to get to know you.
I don't know what to expect.
I just got her number, by the way.
We've hung out so many times that I don't have any of your guys' numbers.
I called Belle.
I'm staying outside in the heat because that's how they treat their guests out here.
I'm sitting outside.
I was like DMing her.
I was like, come on, I'm outside.
You're not even.
I'm on a fast, social media fast, 21 days.
And you're a social media star?
Yeah, social media star.
How bad did it get for you that you're like, I need to get away from you?
It wasn't even that bad.
I would like delete it and then re-add it, but it's been the best thing of my life.
You should try it.
It honestly is great.
I actually have a flip phone.
No.
Like Cricket?
Cricket Wireless.
Boost Movie.
It's actually with Mint, with Ryan Reynolds.
I do an ad for them.
You guys did a brand deal for Mint?
Yeah, I mean.
Why did you bring up their competitor, Cricket?
All of this better be in there.
Okay.
No, come on, bro.
That's so funny.
No, trust me, your ad would love it because it's funny.
Yeah, no, Cricket's like.
Don't talk about cricket.
You're with me.
Well, do you know what cricket is?
It's like, you don't want cricket.
Like, you definitely don't want to go to cricket.
It's like the worst of the worst.
That's why I brought them up more than your advertisement.
Just beep them out.
It'll be funny.
I feel like I'm a part of this ad now.
I feel like I'm sending you guys a new video.
You're the third member of this podcast.
Thank you.
I really appreciate it.
I hope you have time.
I do.

What's up, George?
How's your life been?
What's up,
I love that so much.
And
I love that so much.
Update us on everything on like married life.
Married life is good.
We love your wife.
She's the best.
She's perfect.
Looking at her.
She really is.
She's actually perfect.
Jesus.
My mother wanted me to tell you, being so serious, that she wanted me to tell you,
she called me to tell you.
that she's the best thing that ever happened to you and you are so lucky.
Exact words.
I believe it.
I believe it.
Proverbs says that a good woman is like a crown on a king's head.
And she is definitely that.
You know what's so funny?
Yesterday, we're sitting down and we're just eating pizza watching Big Bang Theory.
And we just came off of a crazy trip.
We went to Italy, went to Greece.
Then from there, we went to Lake Como.
Then we're gearing up for tour.
We had some great guests.
And I turned to her and I go, dude, eating pizza on the couch with you is better than all of those things combined.
So I told her, I said, it's very comforting knowing that I have the greatest gift already and everything else is a bonus.
And I don't have to work like
losing my mind over something that I already achieved.
And it's like a good marriage there.
And it's really nice.
I love how much you guys love each other.
And I just wanted to start off this episode with saying that, and I'm being genuinely serious, all jokes aside, I can't tell you how often I see you guys on the internet.
I see you.
I see your clips.
And like, we're just, we might not live in the same place and we might not see each other all the time, but like we adore you guys.
We love you.
We truly are like your biggest.
I'm such a big supporter of you guys from a distance.
And every time I see you on the internet, I literally feel God's delight for you guys.
And I was going to voice muma both of you and just be like, I want you to know, you guys, your humility, just like there's an innocence about you both that is so special and like warms the heart of God.
Thank you, man.
I really mean that.
And like, even since the last time I saw you, I can't tell you how often I see videos of you guys where I'm like, the growth is unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I'm like, wow.
And every time I talk to somebody about you guys who like watches your podcast or something, everyone always says the same thing.
George is so humble.
You will be, and you're so you.
You're so authentic.
You'll be on your podcast.
You'll just speak your mind and potentially in like your authenticity and in your rawness, potentially make a mistake or say something, whatever, because it's your genuine thoughts.
You don't overedit your podcast.
Like you literally keep everything in there.
And then you come back the next week, open up your podcast, sometimes with an apology.
Bro, I've been doing those apologies.
And it is, please don't stop.
Like truly, please don't get jaded to the point of like wanting, and you don't have this anyways, but like I had it on my heart to tell you, don't ever get to a place of performance or striving where you're like, oh no, I have to be perfect.
So I'm going to make this so curated because your willingness to openly make mistakes, say something, and then even change your mind, like you're just expressing what normal people go through.
Yeah.
How they think.
You say what people don't are afraid to say.
Right.
I've just been in the game for so long and I've watched them like the same people.
It's so funny because on YouTube, if you click their accounts, you could see what they've commented in the past.
Oh, yeah, I know.
So I've watched the same people love me and the same people hate me.
And then they love me again and then they hate me.
And I took that to God one day and I'm like, man, I'm getting nauseous.
Like, and I catch myself changing sometimes to like please everybody.
And it's really hard to do that.
And I just realized my peace comes with not worrying about their noise and worrying about God's.
So like I just dance in front of the Lord, but with the whole world watching.
And I just have my eyes on my dancing partner.
And to be honest, like
everything that I wanted before came when I don't even care about them anymore.
Like I have all these opportunities on my table and I have, we're going on tour.
We have these guests I never dreamt about.
Like
it
seek first the kingdom and the rest shall come.
God knows what your heart desires because he put those placements in them, but he can't give them to you if you desire them more than him.
And I, being in an industry for like 11 years, it's, I've caught myself, oh, dude, this is where I turn my back against God.
And that's a very hard thing to like, to grasp because
I get mad at other people for doing that to me.
And then I take it up to God and God goes, hey, man, you've done worse to me.
So like, forgive the comments, forgive your friends, forgive your family, focus on me.
Just worry about what you're working on and the peace will come.
And so I think I've grew up in a world where we try to work for the peace.
Right.
And the peace is in his presence.
So me just being on a mic and laughing or crying or, or, or just being who I am, it came just because God gave me the wisdom to like.
This, if I had to shorten it up, it'd be this.
What am I fearing?
Am I fearing the Lord that has wisdom with it?
Or am I fearing the world?
And whatever you fear, you worship.
So if I fear the world, I start worshiping the world.
And one day I'm going to meet my creator and he goes, hey, man, like, be away from me.
I never knew you.
You knew them more than you knew me.
Yeah.
And so at the heights that we're at right now, we have to really, really be focused on like, hey, like, what are we actually catering to?
Because you guys know more than anything.
Like, I tell my, I tell my wife all this.
I go, you grew up what I have now.
A beautiful girl.
has like fame like when people walk in and they start treating you differently it it boasts you it makes you feel like something different and if you wake up every single day and everybody's just giving you compliments or everybody's giving you like booze and stuff,
regardless of what they are, it will fluctuate how you're behaving.
Totally.
And so, like, I just kind of cut the noise off.
You have to.
And just, I'm sitting here with my God and my wife.
And I've just been so happy, bro.
So happy.
I see that in you guys, too.
I think something that I wanted to ask you about, because we've like all of your fan base and audience, and probably a lot of ours, because we have a lot of overlap which i think is so cool um
so many of them have seen you just like openly be on your faith journey like they've seen ari and i be on our faith journey and i think you have a similar situation with as ari and i do where you grew up orthodox ari and i grew up somewhat catholic and we have this complex where we love jesus yeah right but like we don't necessarily we don't know the word we don't really know him but we love him and like we say that we love him but i think you're similar to me for example where we didn't have really any discipleship nor did we have like christian community of any sorts or maybe even like mentors and i know since the first time we met you your whole life like the lord has provided you a level of community that i pretty i'm pretty sure you didn't have before and like mentors and yeah like you have cliff and you're just like in the word and I just want to ask you what it's been like to go deep with God like you have like you've gone deep with Jesus yeah it's okay this is the best way I could put it.
I've met some people, I've sat down with some people that know the Bible way better than me.
Yeah, know the word they finish off the sentences, but they have no love.
And then I read a verse where God says you could have all these talents, but if you don't have love, it's like gongs clashing together, yeah, for sure.
And so, you have to be careful who is your mentor when you eat their fruits.
Do you think they're coming from God or not?
So, this has kind of been the journey that I've been on.
Now,
having a real relationship with God is always in a state of humbleness.
Like, I can't go and arrogantly be like, I'm right all the time is because I'm not leaving God room to work in my heart.
That being said, I grew up in
a church where me and my mom have different viewpoints on things.
And we were bickering with each other.
And you know what?
At the time, I would cry all the time.
When I left the church and I started going in my own direction, like.
My mom used to tell me it's better for you to, to, for me to die first before that happens.
Like it was, imagine you always do something good for your mom and all you think about your mom and you're always thinking about her.
And then God puts you in a position to be like, All right, is it going to be me or your mom?
Abraham, is it going to be me or your son?
And so I understand that feeling now.
And one day we're going back and forth or arguing.
But here's the thing: if I had to be humble, it's like, man, I learned a lot from my mom.
So I can't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
So I sat there with God and I go, God, like, how do you feel about this bickering?
And I just sat in his presence
and I just felt weeping.
Because imagine two of his kids, instead of being like, hey, let's glorify our Lord together.
And hey, you have your agreements.
You have your worship.
You have your ways.
Leave that between me and God.
Let's pray and ask God to guide our feet to where they need to be.
But sitting here for an hour debating, being angry.
saying mean things you regret because you're so scared that your loved ones may be walking in the wrong direction.
God says you could do a lot more preaching my word by no words and more action yeah if you just walk with more peace and love and show them your fruits then they could want to come with me so true so
yes there's been a lot of division and i'm so happy i got out of that storm because i was so arrogant dude i would always be i grew up in the industry and i also grew up in a liquor store and the two that i have in common is i fight for my peace and
With God, that's not how it works.
God is the God of turn your cheek, walk away, pray for them.
If they sue you, give them more.
And so it's hard.
It's a, it's a hard, it's bitter to swallow because in your brain, as a son of God, I'm like, no, no, no, I'm going to fight for you.
And God's like, hey, man, if I wanted to fight, at the tip of my sword would be a thousand angels.
I don't need Georgie Jenko in Hollywood fighting his mom or fighting his comments or fighting Catholics or fighting Orthodox.
How about you put your head down?
You truly talk to me with all of your heart and I'll guide you there.
And listen.
I've made decisions publicly where I'm like, hey, this is how I see things.
If the time comes where God opens up my eyes, he goes, hey, you're wrong.
That's a big blessing.
Because dude, I'm the guy who gets on the podcast and be like, yo, yo, I was super wrong.
And I'm hungry to look for when I'm wrong.
But what I used to do before is divide the room instead of bringing them together.
If I feel like this person, like my mom, we view something differently.
Instead of hammering it over them, we pray about it.
And this is a very hard thing to do, but it's a very solid thing to do.
Bring up the word of God and stop bringing your opinion into it.
Yeah.
And like it's hard, but it's something that I'm learning.
And so I'll read it and we'll talk about it.
We'll pray about it.
We'll move on.
What I've learned is that our job is to plant the seed, not to grow it.
And we get confused with doing God's job sometimes because we get carried away.
So I just plant the seeds.
I ask God to forgive me if I'm misstepping blindly because I don't want to be the blind leading the blind, but I also don't want to run away from where he wants me to be from.
And the best thing I could do is be patient, quiet, ready to listen.
And if it's time to speak, he'll let me know and I'll speak it.
Wow.
Okay, confession.
I love my morning coffee ritual, but I don't love how it makes me feel sometimes.

Have you ever had a really stressful, unwanted thought pop up during worship?
Maybe it made you feel like you needed to start your prayer over because it wasn't right or perfect.
It filled you with shame, or it even caused crushing guilt because it felt like it offended God.
A lot of people have thoughts like these, including Ari and I.
And trust us, we know how scary and isolating they can be to struggle with.
They can even lead to compulsive behavior like constantly asking for reassurance, punishing yourself for having bad thoughts, or worrying about participating in religious practices like praying incorrectly.
But here's what changed everything for us.
Learning that these thoughts aren't character flaws or signs of weak faith.
They might be symptoms of religious OCD, also known as scrupulosity.
OCD is really misunderstood, as a lot of people are surprised to learn that it can focus on religion.
But it's true.
OCD can latch on to anything you deeply care about, including your faith.
And when it does, it can be devastating.
But there's hope because with the right kind of therapy, OCD is highly treatable.
And that's where no CD comes in.

If I've realized anything in my life is if you just pray for people,
God will send them someone else to tell them like sometimes it just can't be you sometimes you're too close and so i just like i have so much respect for you and that how you just decided to put your head down and like be humble and just follow jesus and then let other people imitate me as i imitate christ there's just a lot of responsibility behind it like as of right now we're pretty we're pretty on the same page with how we're sticking to the word or we're practicing but
There's a deep fear of mine that is like, yo, I'm 30, you know, I'm 32.
Like, what happens if I'm 42 and what I've been preaching the last 10 years, I was putting people in the wrong direction.
So there's a humility into it being like, all right, God, as of right now, I believe this.
Yeah.
But I can't forget that the past 15 years of my life, I did believe what my mom believed.
And I did worship.
And I would get very upset if somebody would combat me on it.
So I'm trying to find the most peaceful approach that we could all sit at the same table, all worship the one that we call God, and figure out a way that we're like, hey, you know, I, you worship this way.
I pray that's between you and God.
And if I'm wrong, I pray that I'm standing next to you worshiping.
And if that you're wrong, I pray that you're next to me worshiping.
But the whole like sitting here debating, the arguing, like, it doesn't do anything good.
And it brings out a really bad thing out of church.
And here's the thing, right?
Say I'm Orthodox, you're Catholic, you're what we're Christian, like, right?
How embarrassing is it that we're sitting here arguing with each other and a Muslim walks by, a Jewish walks by, a man who doesn't even know God walks by.
And they're like, look at these clowns.
Totally.
That's crazy.
And I, and I took very much big part in that.
What people didn't know is that I came from a church where I'm studying and I'm learning and I'm exiting it, right?
So I'm in a transition.
They thought I was attacking because I was angry.
It's not true.
I was just questioning and learning at the same time battling myself.
But I can't make excuses.
God gave me a platform and he says, much is given, much is tested.
I acted like a fool on that episode.
When I watch it back, I'm like, on the Avengers episode.
On the Avengers episode,
I was so quick to want to speak and learn.
But I didn't take any time to remember that, hey, dude, your family members, your church, the people you grew up with, your ethnicity, like they, they thought I was just throwing haymakers, but the truth is I was asking questions.
It's fine, but I was doing it inappropriately.
Yeah.
And my mom told me, she goes, this has been your problem since you're a kid.
It's not what you say.
It's how you say it.
All of us.
Yeah.
You got to be calm.
You got to be collect.
You got to be humble.
So like now i have conversations with catholics or orthodox and i i and you know
it might take a lifetime it might take a lifetime for them to like hey dude i mess with you again because there's a lot of people that wrote me emails there's a lot of people that like like return tickets there's a lot of people that
but i i can't be consumed in that i have to keep moving my falls are a little heavier now because i'm higher up but i i can't sit there hovering over my mistakes because then i'm not giving my chance to grow and keep moving so i i'm forgiving myself, but also moving forward.
But I also,
this is the hardest part.
I got to give them room to forgive me.
I can't just expect them to forgive me right now and just move on.
Yeah.
So like it's a little battle, but staying off the internet and like staying with your wife, staying in your Bible, it just, it gives you a lot of peace.
Also, no one's ever came up to me in real life and like got angry with me.
You,
you are so kind and you're so humble and you truly are harmless and you don't ever want to hurt anyone.
Honestly, I didn't even know that it was that big of a deal from, I didn't even, I wasn't even aware of all of that.
And it doesn't really,
yeah.
But you know what?
I loved it.
I really did.
I know that sounds crazy, but I loved it.
Yeah.
Because imagine if I kept going in that direction and I didn't know the, like the catastrophe that I was burning.
Yeah.
Like when we wield the word in front of the world, we're wielding a sword.
Totally.
So how you wield it, you could either really set somebody free from bondage or you could really enslave them and hurt people.
And so I was, I got really cocky with my power of like turning on a microphone and talking.
I got really cocky.
And God was like, all right, I'm going to let this dude talk.
Cause, you know, it's so funny.
God's always guided my mouth.
So I literally sat back and I'm like, why didn't he like open my eyes?
I watched a friend of mine talk wild on a podcast.
And afterwards, there would be people that tell him that, hey, boy, you're wilding out.
You can't be talking like that.
And he'd still deaf ears.
So I sat there in a meditation.
I go, why did it land on deaf ears for me?
Obviously, God had people come up to me.
Obviously, I had to review this like why is it that god let me go through that and it's because god saw my heart wilding out yeah and he's like hey dude i can't i can't correct you until you feel that fire i keep trying to nudge you away from it but you keep trying not to poke it so i'm gonna let you touch the fire now and so when i touched it dude i didn't just burn myself i burned my home wow i burned my mom my cousins my loved ones i have relatives that are high priests in that type of form
the the way that people would call me and scream at me to people call me and weep like i had absolutely no idea how i was swinging that sword until after that and it's humbling man it's and i had no idea that it was took my sword but also like it's it's also more personal as well yeah because i grew up from that church so like dude like having somebody i used to go to his house and learn from call me out and scream at me and his family talk about me online it wow i wasn't angry about it because it would be foolish of me to be angry i upset them but it's quick to
It's good to quickly learn your mistakes.
A lot of people get bitter and then they're like, no, it's it's them.
And it's like, that's such a wrong approach.
Like, you know, when you did something wrong.
You got to work on that.
I'm so proud of you.
I really, I'm so proud of you.
And, and honestly, what you said earlier about how, like, it's interesting because you have all this responsibility and you just don't want to lead people in the wrong direction.
The most beautiful part about this for all of us and anyone else who preaches the gospel is that we have.
a entire Bible that tells us where to go, how to get there.
And so if we stick to that, we'll be okay.
And then there's other things and other, you know, denominations and other debate, debatable topics, but it's just like, there's only one hill to die on.
Like truly, everything else is not a hill to die on.
The hill to die on is Christ and Christ crucified.
Like that's all, if we stick to that, which you, I really believe you do, while amongst talking about other topics and, you know, workshopping things out loud, because that's what you do.
I don't know.
I'm going to again encourage you to just like continue being yourself while going in the right direction, while becoming more like jesus because it's a blessing to everyone there have been moments where you've been like so humbly apologizing or something online and it makes me feel like oh you don't have like you don't have to be perfect oh make mistakes how many times have we oh my gosh called orpa in the bible
like you know we've done who knows we've said much you get the holy ghost you get the holy ghost you get the holy ghost
i didn't start preaching like that it's it's weird i came from a podcast that was like full of degenerates talking about anything yeah i was just like love talking about God because I love talking about God because it's deep, bro.
It's deep.
Like it's, I wanted to be an actor and I wanted to be a musician and I wanted to be all these things because I like storytelling.
But the best story in the world is God.
So I didn't come out trying to be a preacher.
I blinked one day and I had a podcast where people coming up to me.
You know when I realized my podcast started to go a little bit more in the spiritual realm is when I'm about to interview Candace Owens.
And she's putting on her mic like this and somebody's putting on makeup on her.
She goes, she looks at me.
She goes, I'm really proud of you that you went the spiritual route.
Like, you really went there.
And I literally went, Did I?
I was like, I didn't know that because I don't think of it that way.
I just had these conversations that I wanted.
Somebody said, when you have a podcast, talk about things that you really care about.
So I like the industry because I see all these broken people from broken homes and they're so thirsty for like just some type of help.
So I always like to bring up Christ because it helped me a lot.
And I grew up at a liquor store and I would watch my mom and dad do that to broken drunks.
You know how weird it is for you to sell liquor, but also teach them about the gospel.
It's like such a weird transaction, dude.
I love that.
My dad would beat the brakes off of a man if he stole liquor from them.
But if a pregnant woman or child would steal food, he would tell his employees, hey, pray for them.
Like, just turn your eyes from him.
So, like, the world that I lived in was like, we hung out with the schmucks.
Yeah.
And we love them.
Same.
So, like, that's why, like, my podcast, we wanted to just be more about like the real world.
And then also, like, I don't want to hide away from Christ.
Yeah.
I wasn't trying to be a Christian podcast.
I was just trying to be the George Jenkins show.
If it was a Christian podcast, I want to put my my name above God.
It was supposed to be a comedy show.
Like my tour that I'm going on, it's a comedy show.
But then my heart started getting affected by it.
It was like I went to do a show and it was in Arizona.
So I did two shows, did one in California, one in Arizona.
Thank God both of them sold out.
In the middle of it, I'm telling jokes.
People are laughing, but I could see them waiting for something, waiting for something.
So I literally go, hey.
Because of the authority on your life.
George, you can't get away from it.
I literally go, do you guys want me to tell some more jokes or you guys want me to get deep?
And bro, the audience all at once goes deep.
And I was like, all right.
Then I'm looking like a dude giving a monologue on stage.
And I'm sitting there and I'm just seeing everybody at the edge of their table.
And I'm like, oh, God, like, I didn't want to do this, but like, it's so funny that it's, it's just right.
It's here.
And they want me to do it.
But it's, it's something I ran away from because I, I, I know the responsibility.
Totally.
Do you get what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Like when I see, I get the only things that actually anger me, I'm not going to mention mention names out of respect yeah but like there's a lot of preachers and there's a lot of people that want to be on my podcast and i look at them and i smell fake wolf i'm like i do not mess with them right now because i'm watching you manipulate women and children for your benefit while your wife's at home oh i could go off like it really angers me and i i've told them to f off so many times but for me to walk into that spotlight I'm walking in just trying to entertain people and make people laugh as George Janko.
So you're not trying to get healed over here.
I'm not trying to heal you.
If you get healed off of the talent that God gave me, amen.
But I'm not telling you guys to come here for that.
People want me to go and do that.
Like there's people that will pay me and say, hey, go preach and do this or go to ASU and do this.
It's too much responsibility for a young man that doesn't know the gospel fully.
Like I can't go and just do this.
Good for you.
I'm good at it because God made me good at it.
But I know that.
It would be really, it would be really, really bad for me.
If I know how to fly a plane up and down, I know i'm pretty good at it but now they want me to fly somebody across atlanta out of southwest i have all these people's lives in my hands i can't just go and willy-nilly do it there's a lot of people that do that now because it's cool to talk about
i lost a job because i talked about jesus there's a very big difference
and so on watching these people collecting the money and fame from talking about jesus i'm like bro woe is you bro yeah if you're in it for the wrong place bro like dog like you're gonna want to set on fire the things that you're buying wow when you meet God.
You're going to want to set it on fire because the time is going to come when you're looking at his eyes and they're on fire and they're about to annihilate you off this planet.
And you're doing it to benefit while your wife's at home.
You're talking to this young lady that's looking at you because she feels a difference because of Jesus and you take advantage of it.
Dog, like, oh, God.
Dog, it's, it's deeper than it is.
Happens a lot, huh?
Oh, my God.
People taste the power.
Like, dude, think about this.
I'm actively trying not to do it.
I'm active.
I don't look at the camera.
I'll actively try to do it.
I slip into pride all the time i slip and the only way i could do it and get away with not doing it anymore is calling myself out on it in front of the world wow so i could have the audience be like hey george you're doing it again hey george you're doing it again wow but these people they don't even know that they're doing it or if they they are they're they're hiding it behind walls i mean they're operating in it for so long that it just becomes second nature and people don't even realize like when they're so far in the darkness that it just becomes their natural reality of being in pride.
Yeah.
Pride is the craziest thing.
You know what the Bible says about a man who who takes somebody else off the path of God's will?
You know what he says?
This haunts me, bro, because we talk about God on the book.
So imagine me after watching the Avengers episode or watching the feedback on this.
God said it is better for you to tie a rope around your neck with an anchor and drop you into the abyss of this ocean.
Yeah.
Do you have any idea what happens when you go into this?
Because
I looked it up.
The reason why that's so horrible is
your eye pops out.
You explode from the pressure from underneath.
That is the worst way to go
while you're suffocating and your mind is literally popping out, your brain is coming out of your ears.
It is the worst way to go.
And God says, dude, if you do this to my kid, it's better for you to go do that to what I'm going to do to you.
So let's stay on pride for a second.
So what do you do?
What in your intimacy with the Lord?
Do you do in the mornings to resist pride?
Because it's so easy for it to slip in.
Like, what does it look like with you and pride and being on such a big platform?
Yeah, the journey is, it's, it's a journey.
There's a clip of me.
I just watched it the other day and I totally forgot that I even put this on the podcast.
And I'm so blessed that God let me put that on the podcast.
The first time I was ever on Impulsive, I was just rambling about Jesus.
And I said my prayer that I said when I came to California and I said, God, if it takes me one inch away from you, I don't want it.
Put it miles away from me.
I'd rather suffer and be a poor man on this earth than to ever reap these benefits and lose you in the process of it.
That's how it started.
And then now I started getting and started getting and started getting.
Much is given, much is tested.
And I've learned that I was like, okay, cool.
It's not bad to have things.
It's not, it's not bad to have power.
But if you abuse them, it's more of a chance of you being judged in a way that you wish you never had these things.
So.
The prayers change as the heart changes.
So as I'm growing like a good father, he's not letting letting me get to the next level until I could hold what's in my hands.
Because I asked him, I don't want it.
That's my prayer.
I don't want it.
And now I'm getting more than I could ever even imagine.
But my prayers lately had nothing to do with me anymore.
So now I'm holding everything that my old Georgie would have been like, yo, bro, I want this and I want that.
Never saw it a day in my life.
But then I said, Hey, God, like, I'm tired.
And how stupid of me is it to sit in front of the creator of this universe and say, Can I get more followers?
Can I get more followers can i get more views yeah can i get this so i could get this or i could literally sit in front of him and remember that everything i'm about to ask him is about to perish in a few years and say okay like now i understand the prayer when i says how about it be your will that's in heaven that will be done here what do you want from me so that way when i stand in front of you it wasn't hey man remember when you only talked about yourself forever.
You only talked about yourself.
You never even cared about what I needed you to do.
And then as soon as I asked God, hey, what do you need from me?
That's when he plopped everything my heart desires in front of me.
And I'm like, wait a second, this doesn't make sense.
Why are you giving this to me?
I don't even want this.
And now you start getting in your head.
No, no, it's a test.
The devil doesn't want.
And then you go to the parable of talents.
No, no, no.
I built you.
You wanted that because I built you to be a man to go speak.
But you were talking about yourself.
So I didn't think you had anything to talk about.
But now you want to talk about me.
So here's the microphone.
Wow.
But then you're like, all right, well, what do I do?
I don't know if I'm responsible enough.
Different level, different devil, right?
I wasn't worthy here, which means I'm not going to be worthy here.
So when things get tough or things get great, I got to set myself in the middle of the cross and say, it ain't about me.
If I make a mistake or I make, if they, if they applaud or if they boo, it's not my job to listen to them.
There was a line from Rick and Morty that really spoke to me.
And I didn't even watch the episode.
Somebody talked about it.
And I was like, yo, that's a, that's a fire line.
He says, I don't care about what the world boos at.
I've seen what they cheer about.
Oh, wow.
And I was like, yo, that is a deep message.
We get so caught up trying to impress the girl we're not trying to dance with.
Wow.
It doesn't make sense to me.
I'd rather impress God.
Yeah.
And it's so funny.
And this is selfish to say this.
And only a true man of God will know this.
When you dance with God, you start receiving things you feel like you have no business receiving.
It's like kind of my wife.
When I look at her, I understand God now.
When I look at my mom and dad, I understand God now.
My mom gives me more than I deserve.
I give my wife way more than she deserves because in my heart, I go, you deserve everything because you're so meek.
You're so beautiful.
You're so kind.
You're so pure.
You're reading the Bible.
So my heart is wanting to give her everything because her heart is not attached on the world.
I know.
So I want to give her the world.
Yeah.
But imagine if my wife was only thinking about the materials things.
I'm just, I ain't giving it to you.
Yeah, totally.
You're going to, you're going to lose yourself over this.
That's a great point, Jerry.
So he's not going to give you what's going to break you.
He's going to give you what's going to exalt you.
So if you don't have what you're thinking in your mind, God is destined for you to have, is because your heart is not reflecting him.
It's reflecting you.
And he can't give you something that you're going to reflect to all of his other kids.
Wow.
Because it's going to be death.
Yeah.

By the way, I'm literally, I'm so happy no one caught it.
I go, oh, great point, John, Jare, what?
George.
You said John?
Yes.
I need help.
I need true help.
Anyways,
impulsive.
Going from that world to that, I mean, there's obviously been so much sacrifice and there's been probably so many moments of surrender for you.
And I just wonder that story of Abraham and Isaac, it's Genesis 22.
How does that speak to you?
That sort of sacrifice and that sort of surrender.
Like, what does that look like for you in your own life?
When I read Abraham now, my wife was like, sad.
There's a lot of people that are like, how
how could you worship a God that would ask you to kill his son?
And I said, hey, man, keep reading the story.
He stops him and he gives him his son.
So when you sit there and go, how could you, how, yeah, how could we?
How could we, and this is the worst part.
How could you know that the creator of the world gave you his son and you still do the sin that put him on that wood?
It's crazy.
Yeah.
It's all a reflection.
We took from the tree the truth.
God himself had to crawl back onto the tree and nail nail himself because he's the truth.
So it's depending which tree you're going to.
And the sacrifice to me is not a sacrifice anymore.
It's not a sacrifice.
It's a pleasure.
It's a joy.
I weep.
The things I used to weep before, I weep him now.
And I said, How did I used to weep in front of you?
I was embarrassed.
I'm embarrassed.
Here's the thing that I'll say about this.
If somebody's going through their time right now where they feel like God's wronging them or they feel like, how could this happen?
Why would God let this happen?
Keep letting them go.
Right.
Exactly.
Don't be the Jew in the wilderness wanting to go back to slavery.
Yeah.
Yes.
Don't, don't do that.
Sit there and humble yourself to know that, like, hey, dude, like, and excuse my language, like, actually, I'm not going to do it.
But, like, I used to sit here and be like, why am I eating poop, bro?
Why am I eating poop?
I did so much.
But, like, bro, humble yourself.
Enjoy that poop.
Eat it.
Yeah.
Sit there and humble yourself.
You have something to eat.
You have something to grow off of.
If you have any audacity, and by the way, I'm not judging you.
This is me.
If you have any audacity to look at God and go, I go, oh, my man, what are you doing?
You're already, your heart's in the wrong place.
Because now when I'm going through things, and it's the scariest place to be sometimes, but when you're going through things, this whole year, I've been going through turbulence, and I've gotten out of them so much faster when I humbled myself so he could get me out instead of me trying to wander my way out of it.
It doesn't work that way.
It's not me plus God.
It's just all God.
So if there's a situation that's going down, well, you're hurting, you lost your job, you lost your friends, You lost your family.
It could be anything from material to physical to spiritual.
If you feel like you're losing it, just take a breath, humble yourself, and remember that he could bring it to life if he wanted to.
And he will.
Listen, when I went through what I went through,
I remember being really embarrassed
and really scared.
And it didn't help that everybody in the world wanted to put their two cents into it.
When you went through what specifically?
Separation from impulsive impulsive or friend groups or family groups or churches like there was a lot of stuff i was with it was it was a very short amount of time but what i've learned is if i just
if i step in into the water and i keep my eyes on him i could get to him quicker yeah but if i keep taking every two steps to turn away to look at the problem exactly
there's a reason why you're drowning and you can't breathe yeah yeah so i i've gotten very good, not because of my own will, because of his.
And I'll tell you how to get here.
I'm actually going on a tour to explain this.
It's called the Man on Water tour.
That's good.
But I'll explain a little bit of it right here.
This right here.
And by the way, it's a comedy tour.
So please don't come to the thinking as a church.
It's a comedy tour.
It's a podcast.
Please don't.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But it's like, I want to make sure.
I just want to make sure.
Because I don't want people to come bringing their Bible and then they're thinking we're about to praise and do stuff.
It's a comedy tour.
It's a podcast tour.
But I'm talking about the greatest story.
Right.
It's the main guy talking about the the main guy.
Yeah.
That's the log line.
The best way to get yourself out of feeling in a place of suffocation is taking a moment, focusing your eyes on God, humbling yourself and saying, hey, what do you want me to do?
Stop telling God what you want him to do.
There's a reason why this happened.
My whole life since I was a kid, I would.
It's so funny.
I never got anxiety and depression until I was in Hollywood.
But those only moments was when I started doubting God.
Of course.
When I was a kid, I got held back.
My mom would train me to be so happy all the time.
Full of faith.
Well, my mom would be like, hey, buddy, how would you like to try third grade again?
And I'm like, really?
And she's like, yeah, you get new friends.
And I was like, no way.
Like, my mom was so
my mom.
It's born parents.
My mom is like, no, they're just jealous of you.
That's why they held you back.
You got held back too?
No, but if I were to, yeah, man, I got to spend a lot.
Oh, dude.
Like, my whole comedy bit is actually about me and my school.
But the reason why I tell these stories is because
there's two types of men in God's eyes, and there's only two.
It doesn't matter if you're black, white, Asian, anybody in the world.
There's only two types of man in God's eyes, grateful and ungrateful.
It's either you could sit there and rejoice and...
elevate his name or you could
forgive me for saying curse at God
people always tell me like hey is it wrong to look look for materialistic things or be rich or all that stuff?
It's like, listen, I got money the day that God taught me that the money ain't mine.
That's when I got money.
It's when I realized that I'm his steward.
So, how I spend, if it's a hundred bucks or $150,000, if I'm spending it in a day, I'm not looking at it as if it's mine.
I'm looking at it as his.
So, yeah, I don't get stingy.
I get very generous because I'm not worried about it.
It's not mine.
If he needs to fill up my pockets, he'll fill up my pockets.
Yeah.
But my intentions are set on him.
You will thrive when you put your intentions on him.
When people say you're a prosperity gospel preacher, absolute freakingly I am.
Absolutely I am.
In fact, I want you to do me a favor.
I want you to say with your mouth so I know that God hears you.
Say with your mouth when you look at me.
Tell me a time and place that you invited the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and you didn't prosper.
Tell me.
I don't care what it is.
I don't care what it is.
Tell me where it is.
You cannot bring this light into a room and it gets darker.
If you're thinking, well, no, you, you have a range over, you're doing this.
Well, you're confusing yourself.
The, the best thing you could ever have in the world is the presence of Jesus Christ.
That's what I'm talking about.
I'm not talking about money.
If God didn't give you money, I'm sorry to say this.
It's because you're not responsible for money or he's using you for his glory, which you should be taking that with a beautiful thing.
If God asks you to be poor, why don't you do yourself a favor and remember that the first is last and the last is first?
When I'm sitting up here at at the top, you think I'm freaking like, oh, yeah, making it right.
No, I'm worried.
Every step of the way, I'm like, oh my God, am I doing this the right way?
Am I, am I making sure that this is going out?
This is that.
I'm going to have the same problem on top that the kid at the bottom is going to have if your heart's in the right place.
Yeah.
If you're poor right now, if you're struggling with money, I promise you, invite the Lord in.
And wherever you go, celebrate it.
If you keep being poor, celebrate it.
If you become rich, celebrate it.
Money's not going to make you happy.
Fame is not going to make you happy.
I got money and fame.
I became depressed.
Yeah.
I got anxious.
I got depressed.
It was a worse place.
I used to ask God to take it away from me until my mom told me to chill out.
You know, she said to me, actually, this stayed with me.
I said, no, this is from the devil.
And mom goes, oh,
so the devil's over here blessing you with all this, huh?
And I was like, well, no, no, no.
She goes, no, no, no.
It just seems that you're going through a turbulence.
You need to humble yourself.
and say, hey, God, if it's not good for me, take it away from me.
I started giving him my first fruits.
That's the secret to my success.
It wasn't because I was the most tell us what that is.
First fruits in so many ways.
Okay.
First fruits of your day is instead of getting up and getting on your iPhone and looking at the junk that the world is giving to you, why don't you get up and see what God wants to give to you?
That way, if you start your day with the rock, right?
If it's a strong rock, then you could layer things on top of it.
And then you could feel confident.
You could feel strong.
You could feel peaceful.
But if you start with rockiness and lies and goo and stick, it's going to feel like quicksand.
You're going to feel like dark and depressed.
Totally.
I would start my days with that.
What does people think about George Dango today?
What do they like?
I hope they like me.
I hope they like you.
And some days you're like, I got to kill myself.
This is terrible.
God goes, hey, man, how about you start thinking about me in the morning and then I'll take care of you?
How about that?
How about you give me your life and I'll take care of your steps?
So then I started giving him my first fruits.
And by the way, do I fail on this?
Sometimes when I sleep really late and I wake up and I have to rush to a meeting, but dude, I could feel the difference.
Yes.
I could feel the difference.
Start by giving your first fruits, first hours, first part of your day to the Lord.
Amen.
Hey, if you don't like reading right now and you're dyslexic and stupid, like how I was, dude, sit there and meditation, pray.
And guess what?
One day God's going to open up your eyes.
And when you're reading literature that takes college students to understand, all of a sudden you're able to break it down.
It ain't because of you.
It's because of the comforter of the Holy Spirit.
He's not asking you to meet him where he's at.
Dude, we'd be cooked asking to let you
meet where you're at.
So invite him into where you're at.
When I got out of being an addict of smoking weed, I was trying to medicate myself.
I would always try to quit and then fall and then quit and then fall.
A few months ago.
So like if I go, if I go back and forth, I go back and forth, I go back and forth,
I would always wait for the day.
I'll give myself a 30 days and then I'm going to be honest, but I'll be hunting for that day.
Right.
And then I realized one day when I was speaking, I kept saying I and me.
And I was like, bro, it's not him.
That's why I keep failing.
That's why I keep, I get sober and then I fail again.
And I get sober because guess what?
When I go and tell people how you did it, it's all about how I did it.
Pretty tricky when you have a podcast.
So
this is going to piss off a lot of people, but this is the truth.
Go ahead.
I would light up a J or freaking hit a bong or rip a bag, whatever it was.
Yeah.
And I would just sit there praising him, bro.
Blast it out of my mind.
Blast it out of my mind.
But I stopped running away from him.
Wow.
Because if I'm going to be here, I'd rather you be with me.
So all of a sudden, the next day I would look at it differently.
Then all of a sudden, I feel about it differently.
And then all of a sudden the things that these Christian people would say to me started kind of like adding up a little bit.
Those Christians, man.
Well, it's tricky because there's false Christians and there's real Christians.
So the people that throw the rocks, you don't know which one you're actually dodging or which ones that actually matter.
Yeah.
So one thing led to another and I put it down.
And one day I just didn't want to put it up anymore.
Because at one point, this is the best analogy I could put.
And this is how I was explaining it to my wife.
I had two sets of fruits in the garden, the ones I planted and the ones he planted.
The ones he planted, even people, strangers, atheists would be like, yo, my man, how do you have that?
I'm like, yo, it's God.
Didn't shy away from that.
You can't shy away from that.
But then these fruits, I'm like, all right, these are bad, right?
Everybody keeps saying they're bad fruits.
So I got to get rid of them.
As I'm ripping these fruits out, I'm planting more.
And then I rip them, rip them, rip them.
And then one day I get so tired in the garden ripping these out.
And then I fall.
I get so sad that I fell.
I plant that thousand more.
And then now I'm looking.
I'm like, man, these fruits are really outweighing God's.
But I'm just sitting here focusing on those fruits, focusing on those fruits.
And one day the Holy Spirit told me, he goes, not audibly, by the way.
I want to make sure people are not thinking I'm hearing them audibly.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's a feeling.
It's a comfort.
It's a thought.
It's a picture that when you know it's from him, it's only a relationship thing.
It's like if I close my eyes and I hear you guys speak, I know who's speaking right now because I spent time with you guys.
So you'll be able to know when you speak time with them who's the devil and who's God.
Yeah.
So God just whispers into my heart, he says, you're just so focused on your fruits.
Turn away from your fruits.
Just eat mine.
And if you got to go eat your fruits, it's fine.
But just when you're done, focus on my fruits.
So I'd pick up the J, but I'd focus on his fruits.
And one day, man, I got tired of eating these fruits.
And I just wanted to eat these fruits.
And so I'm sitting here and I'm eating these fruits.
And one day, two days, three days, four days, a week goes by.
And I look back and I realize those fruits I was trying to rip out from the garden are drying up and they're dying themselves.
So I don't even need to worry about them.
Wow.
The Lord is taking care of it.
A lot of us try to fixate on the problem because we feel like we owe God to do that.
But the truth is, the gospel explains,
it's mercy, it's grace, and it's a gift.
You don't earn a gift.
You receive a gift.
And with faith, that's all our job is to do is to receive it.
If you're caught up with your own pride of thinking, I got to do this for God, God's going to hang back because He doesn't mix evil with good and good with evil.
Remember, He always tells us all the time: He goes, Look at the gifts you give, but you guys are evil.
That is so.
We try to gift ourselves, but we mistake it.
These gifts that we're giving ourselves are evil.
So, don't focus on what your messups are.
Don't focus on what you're doing.
That is so amazing.
Just focus on God.
And through that, you'll be able to keep it moving and keep it going.
Focus on Jesus.
Just focus on Jesus.
It's really simple.
And it gets even more simple as you journey with God is that like you actually don't need to think about anything other than Jesus.
And then you do watch your entire life fall into place as he works even in the bad times.
And what you were talking about before when you were like.
You were just talking about hardship and about how like if you focus on the problem, it just gets bigger.
And literally all I was thinking about for you, for us, for everybody is just what I've learned more than anything is just the power of yielding.
The prayer that I pray every single morning, two things, three things.
One, Holy Spirit possess me, my mind, my body,
my heart, my mouth specifically, that I only speak things that you would have me speak.
And two,
I pray that I would love people the way that Jesus would love them.
And then three, I pray that my spirit would yield to Jesus, that my spirit would yield to God alone, not to my flesh, not to my opinions, not to anything that I think about a situation.
Because in every hard situation, what I've learned is God
actually doesn't care about anything except us becoming more like Jesus.
It is the,
his number one focus.
and goal is that every single one of us becomes more like Jesus.
So when we're facing hardship, everything that we face is literally God producing himself in us.
Jesus forms himself in us through difficult situations.
And it's so hard to remember in the face of
difficulty is that like in this moment, this might be really bad and this hurts and this sucks.
Jesus is forming himself in me.
And that just will change your entire life when you realize it's not about this or that or figuring it out.
How do I become more like Jesus through this?
What is he producing in me that makes me more like him?
You know what I mean?
What do you guys think is the best step forward to following Jesus?
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
No, you can answer.
The best step forward in terms of if you're a new believer or anybody.
The best step forward is to read the Bible.
Get good mentors.
Read the Bible.
Spend time with Jesus.
Like you said, the first fruits every day.
You,
there's only one
form of currency to buy what we want to buy in Jesus, and it's time.
You don't get it through watching a podcast.
You don't get it through going to a conference.
You don't get it through impartation.
The currency is time.
You don't graduate from it.
You don't,
you never depart from that.
It's literally just your time.
It's extended amount of time with Jesus in the secret place when no one is watching.
It is the key.
I have studied and watched and talked to so many men and women of God that I admire so much.
And they say the same thing.
Love Jesus in the secret place.
It's actually that simple.
And if you want wisdom, he gives you wisdom.
Isn't that crazy?
It is that simple.
And read the word.
Well, think about it.
Like
advertisements, social media, streaming service, they all fight for your time.
Yeah.
And so, like,
it's not confusing when we act like the world, when we only absorb the world.
Right.
We're always like on the phone, if we're always watching a show, if we're always watching a movie, if we're always watching all this, but we give no time to God.
You are what you're feeding yourself.
My mom used to say, you don't, like whatever gasoline you put in a car, it's like, it matters.
Like whatever is making you run matters.
Yeah.
And so a lot, I grew up a lot just praying.
That's wrong.
You can't just pray.
It's a form of like pride.
It's like,
I'm only sitting here worried about what you think I'm going through because, you know, you're God.
You got to figure it out.
You're going to need to help me.
But the truth is like, If it ain't his words in your mind, it's somebody else that you don't want.
Totally.
So that's a big one.
That's why I always ask people, what's the first step?
And a lot of people give me all these other things, but it's like, dude, it's just the word.
The word became flesh.
And then he went back to the word.
So it's like, it's insane to think that like you need anything else.
What has the Bible done to your life?
And what has been your journey in reading the Bible?
And what has it done other than change your entire life probably?
And did you really, has it, have you really gone in even more?
I feel like you've gone in even more this past year.
If you ever see me becoming more wise, it's because I'm diving in deeper.
I was so see that in you.
I was only regurgitating what I learned from the world.
So like I was stupid.
And do you get in?
Do you, are you in Bible studies?
Do you have good men of God around you?
Because I feel like men also, I keep hearing them, I had to ask them that.
Like, I feel like that's very important.
You got to hang out with somebody that like you want to be like.
You need good.
So if I want to be like Christ, I got to look at people that I feel like are acting Christ-like.
Right.
So if your mentor, like, for example, like, if you want to be rich, you want to hang out with somebody who's rich right you want to be funny you'll hang out with somebody who wants to be funny i want to hang out with a married man who loves his wife yes i want to hang out with a man who his kids love him yeah yeah i want to hang out with a man that when i bring up something if i act prideful or stupid or gossip he tells me hey chill out watch your mouth yeah i need somebody to be above me and say hey you're wrong you got to correct your mouth
and those are the people i hang around with if you look at the ones that are lost in the world they hang out with what do we call the yes men but the yes men are stupid men they're they're empty vessels of nothing and all they want to do is please people i don't want to please you i want to give you purpose
i don't want to please you i want to bring you to the man who pleases me yeah so i don't care if i make you happy or if i make you sad as long as i know that god's pleased with my actions right you wouldn't believe how many people want to act more like you, trust you more.
Like when I'm more real with somebody, they're like, that was my biggest fear before.
is like i have all these thoughts i'm like this person needs to chill out and then i wouldn't say anything because i'm like i want them to like me i don't want them to hate me i have no friends you can't lose more friends but then i started gaining more friends when i was like hey man you know the way you spoke about your mom was wild wow watch out bro that's your mom or like hey dude you have a son you know it's time you stopped going to the club and raised your son yeah like you wouldn't believe they want to hang out with me more because they're like yeah bro he called me out on that and like of course they do i need to i need to do better so so good i stopped fearing remember you whatever you fear you worship
and it leads to death yeah so unless you're worshiping god and fearing god there's no wisdom there yeah so once i started fearing god i didn't care what chuck thought about you know like i'll be like chuck chalk it up buddy like you got a good name chuck so it's great
uh
and So yeah, and it's so funny.
Everything else came.
I wanted more friends.
I started being more real with them.
And then I got in more friends.
I wanted a stronger family.
I had to be more real with them.
I didn't get scared of things I shouldn't be scared of.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Can we just talk about masculinity?
Because I just love the way.
Tell me.
I love the way
you love your wife.
And I love the way you talk about marriage.
And it's really rare.
It is.
Yeah.
For someone your age in this industry.
It is.
And it's just so beautiful.
And we're just so proud of you for that.
But do you feel like there's an attack on masculinity in this generation?
Yeah, of course.
Can you talk about it?
Yeah.
I mean, like, they're just raw.
Like, like, okay, there's all these conspiracies, man.
They want to control you, man.
They want to do all that.
But the truth is, dude, like
all of what's going on in this world, God said 2,000 years ago, it's nonsense.
It's going to be up and down.
Maybe masculinity is going to be a more better trend when our kids grow up, but it might go in a wrong direction where they're chauvinistic.
So it's not where you're at.
It's where your heart is with God.
So like, if I'm like, my wife was a big blessing to me.
My biggest fear, the reason why I am a good husband to her is because I was walking down in the very beginning of a relationship.
I didn't have women like me when I was growing up.
So that became charming.
I was good looking.
I started making money.
Like, I was like, I'm not putting this down, bro.
I worked my whole life for this.
Even family members I looked up to would be like, hey, dude, like, get out of your system now.
Yeah.
So that way, when you're married.
Yeah, I'll say that.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, so it's, it's all good intentions, bad advice.
Just because somebody has good intentions doesn't mean it's good for you.
Yeah.
Right.
So
I literally sat down one day with this beautiful woman.
And to be honest, I was blessed because
God really showed me that I was going to marry this woman.
But what
I was one day, I'll be honest, one day I was walking her down a direction I used to walk down, a very bad, evil direction.
And
one day before I was like in the midst of like convincing her, like, yo, this is fun.
We should do this while before we're married and all this crazy nonsense.
God whispered in my heart, he goes, I will literally kill you.
I'll kill you.
And I was just like, whoa, I've never felt that.
God's always nudged me, but never like threatened.
I've never felt that before.
And it chilled me to my bone.
The fear of God.
Oh, bro.
And by the way, needed it.
Was a really horny dude, like a stupid, immature, dumb kid.
And like, I needed it.
And I sat her down.
I said, hey, remember all that stupid stuff I was hyping about?
And she was like, yeah, I go, God told me he'd kill me.
if I even go through with this.
She started laughing.
She goes, honestly, because we're new.
We're just started dating.
She's like, I was just, you know, I thought you liked that.
And I was like, oh, so like, I took advantage of this woman that wanted me.
So I was convincing her with my sharp tongue that God gave me to convince women or men that God exists.
I'm convincing them to do evil things.
Right.
So I'm sitting there and I'm like, oh man, like
I really should more probably talk to her about Jesus than talk to her about this nonsense that's going on in Hollywood.
Right.
Wow.
One day, two days, but then I'm starting to fall back a little bit.
We're doing a lot better, way better.
In fact, everybody's complimenting us.
So a little guilt comes when I have those bad thoughts.
Yeah.
It wasn't a sharp, I'm going to kill you.
It was like, this is your last morning.
Last morning.
The death, I learned, wasn't from me dying.
It was the death of the relationship because we were supposed to be one.
Yeah.
And so he's going to remove it.
Yeah.
And God whispered in a dream in mine, he goes,
I will make sure you watch her make another man a a king i will make sure that you stand there and watch as tears roll down your face her put a meal in front of him and raise a children in front of you i will and you will be alone i won't bless you because how are you spitting in the blessing that i'm giving you and so then i started reworking my mind and asking god for forgiveness but it came with like
you have to ask for forgiveness and then once i asked for forgiveness i said okay well how do i behave here's the crazy part and this is for a lot of men that are single right now it's gonna be a little uncomfortable
The world that they're giving you right now is like this music video having sex with all these women.
It's nasty, bro.
It's gross.
And in fact, real men will tell you this: when you're going through it, you feel gross.
Yeah, it doesn't feel gross.
Wow.
But when you have sex with a woman that's meant for you and no other man's touching her, or no man's looking at her, or you guys are having this intimate thing that, and by the way, there's no guilt anymore because it's blessed.
Yeah.
Yo, sex without guilt is a wild thing.
Talk about it.
It's a wild thing.
It's a wild thing.
Thank you.
It's better than a thousand women that makes you feel guilty about it.
The reason I say that is because, as young as you are, probably listening, you're thinking that the whole world revolves around sex.
It's a beautiful thing, but what comes after that with growing something with a wife, talking about what you want to do with your children growing up, or where we're going to move, or how we're going to be, and then you guys growing together, it's like, oh man,
it makes perfect sense what the devil throws in your way to avoid you from going there because this is what was promised to us.
And it's a good gift that God wants us to have.
But he'll distract you and try to chain you down to this.
So that way you do never get to what this is supposed to be.
So, yeah, man, real men, real men, this is how you behave.
You sacrifice the same way that Christ did.
That's why he says, love your wife like your church.
And let me tell you something.
If you love the church, there's a lot of sacrifice that comes with the church, a lot of killing yourself to prosper her.
But here's the best part:
everybody compliments me on the man that I am today.
And it would have never happened if it wasn't for Belle.
If I didn't have somebody to die for and really kill my
possessions and kill my thoughts and kill my ego and all of the lust of this world, and God said, Hey, Abraham, go up there, sacrifices for me.
Because if you do this, then we could begin this real life that we have for you.
And dude, I did it.
And it was
the greatest.
Like there is nothing on this earth besides Christ.
I got to be honest.
I tell her this all the time.
I'd use you as a body shield for God.
Like if bullets are flying, I would let all of the bullets hit you for God.
But it, but besides God,
all
and everything around me.
I would never trade it for just a moment having dinner with my wife and
taking her across the world, reading the gospel with her.
like it is the greatest thing a man could get blessed with in the bible in proverbs it says a good uh a a good gift from god a good woman is like a crown on his head
when this woman walks around i take more pride in when they compliment her than when they compliment me and vice versa right she loves you so bro
and by the way you could get there the only way you could get there i'm not talking to you guys i'm talking about the men out there the only way you could get there is like bro you you have to show god that you're ready.
And I'll tell you why.
An atheist man told me this once.
I was dating three girls.
But by the way, I was always respectful.
I always told the girls, Hey, I'm just freelancing right now.
Yeah, right.
He's just freelancing.
And I was like, Hey,
I was like, I'm just freelancing right now.
And I'm like, I said this.
I said, I'm just waiting for the right one.
And he looked at an atheist, dude.
An atheist dude looked me in my face and says, I don't get it.
That doesn't really make sense to me.
And I go, why?
He goes, well, you believe in God.
He goes, why would God give you his daughter if you treat his other daughters like that?
Wow.
And I literally go, oh,
oh.
And this is actually a story I never told anybody.
I took a few months to be absent.
I didn't mess around.
It's important.
And I did it for God.
And I was like, hey, God, like, obviously I fell once in a while, but I tried my absolute hardest.
And I did a pretty good job in my eyes.
And
I literally was sitting in my room and I was praying to God.
And I said, hey, God, like, I know you're going to bring me a great woman one day.
And I'm showing you now that I'm going to treat her right.
Even though he saw in the future I was going to act like an idiot.
But
I'm going to treat her right, right?
My heart's in the right place at the time.
A few months go by.
I'm sitting in my room and I'm eating.
And my friend walks in.
He goes, dude, I just met your wife.
And I go,
What?
I'm spoken to Jay.
I'm high.
I'm like, dude, what are you talking about?
He goes, bro, I met your wife.
He goes, bro, I looked at her.
And all I kept thinking is like, oh, this is George's wife.
Wow.
He goes, you got to come meet her.
No.
Don't you love when God uses atheists?
Yo, yo,
message.
All the time.
All the time to correct me, bro.
It's very humiliating.
Very humiliating.
And so I was just super high.
And he goes, bro, you got to come.
I've never told this to everybody.
He goes, you got to come right now.
He goes, you got to come.
I was like, bro, I'm not going to leave my house because I would be like a hermit.
I was like, I'm not going to.
He goes, no, bro, you got to.
And in my heart at the time, I go, bro, I can't reject this.
Even if I'm high.
What if it's the right girl?
So this beautiful girl walks into this
Takaya, walks in, her hair is back, and she's wearing what Bella Hadid was wearing for her runway show.
And so I look at her and I go, wow,
you're more beautiful than Bella.
And she looked at me and she goes, what?
I go, like, you're like little belle.
And she goes, what?
And I just got really quiet and I just stood there.
And that was the first time I ever talked to her.
So the joke is why I call her little belle.
Oh my god.
Is that why you call her Belle?
It's because I was a little dummy.
No, George.
George, I'm going to lose it.
Yeah, that's why I call her little belle.
And then throughout life, her mom was like, you know, her name is Shauna, right?
And I was like, I know.
We made a deal.
I said, because it's just a funny story between us.
I said, I will call her little Belle until our first daughter.
And then I will call her Belle.
And then I'll start calling Belle Shauna.
Are you going to, are you going to name your daughter Belle?
Yeah, that's the, that's the, that's.
That's so sweet.
Yeah, that's the drink.
That is so cool.
I want her to name our son George, by the way.
I want you guys to help me in the comments.
George II.
George III.
Oh, the third.
You have to continue it.
You know how powerful that is?
Hey, guys, welcome to the room, George Djanko the third.
You're like, oh, my God.
I'm going to name my daughter, Angela.
The second.
The second.
It's not girl names, right?
Only guys.
Oh, really?
I want to name Danjel.
Bell's going to watch this.
Isn't that weird?
No, that's cute.
It's the best name.
So Ari, literally, I'm not even.
She started like a worldwide phenomenon of people naming their daughters Ari.
Like everyone has named their daughter Ari.
Oh,
if she wasn't Ari, I would also.
There's only one Ari.
Love him.
Cloudy.
Shut up.
She gets offended if the baby's ugly.
You're like, are you sure it's that Isabella?
Are you sure?
It's not.
It looks like an Izzy.
It looks like an Izzy.
Izzy or Icky, but one of them.
But definitely not Ari.
Okay.
That's so funny.
So basically, did you guys hear how to be a, okay, how do we be a masculine man of God?
Let's give us just
kill yourself and be like Christ.
He was the manliest man in the world.
Okay.
There we go.
First of all, yes.
If you're not going to die to yourself, he'll kill you.
Have you had an urge to smoke in the past two months?
No.
No.
No, because like, well, no, hold on.
That's not true.
Not like how I used to.
Not how I used to.
No, no, no.
Spend time in God.
But that's the worst part to say, right?
Because it's so annoying to say it.
Because when you're like,
man, I want to do something bad.
You don't want to run to your mom and dad or like to God.
It's a very uncomfortable thing.
So I say, start by meditating.
Just pray.
And literally, just say this.
Like, if you're about to do something, just invite God.
If you fall that day, it's fine, dude.
Just get back up.
Get back up.
Don't worry about it.
Don't hurt yourself.
But in that time, just say, hey, God, be really honest.
God, I'm so weak.
I'm such a stupid little boy.
I'm so weak.
I'm about to like this Jay.
It's right here.
I already rolled it up.
Like, God.
Give me the strength to walk away from this.
And then something will, something will happen where you're not touching it.
But it's that honesty and that rawness, right?
When you come before him, and it's the power of invite.
It's an invitation.
If you invite him and you fall two seconds later, you opening the door and inviting him empowers you 10 times more.
The scripture says, wherever sin bounds, grace abounds more.
Yes.
Preach.
I'm not a preacher.
I'm a stand-up comedian.
If you guys want to come to my show, it's at the George English show.
You get your tickets.
You're going to get a joke right now.
And don't call me Carrie Andrew.
I'm the only one I met.
I mean,
What did you just say right now?
You said that I look like I was born to make butter.
Yeah, because you look Amish.
By the way, do you always carry around water bottles that are four times bigger than a normal water?
I'm not successful at the Stanley.
They should sponsor me.
Yeah.

Yeah.

I have to bring that guy out for my last show, but it's interesting.
But yeah, no, I'm really excited.
It comes out.
It's comedy, stand-up, and then it's podcasting.
But the podcasting is very special because, like, how we were just talking freely right now, there's gonna be like a QR code.
So people are gonna be sitting there, like, literally in real time being with us.
And people are gonna monitor it.
Yeah, it's gonna be sick.
That's such a good thing.
Did you say, I wish we we did that?
Yes.
That's so funny.
Don't you dare bite my swag.
That would be fun though.
Honestly, can you give us that little QR code?
Yeah, I got you.
So how can they get tickets, George?
