Speaker 3 No, I didn't hear the car pull up, Malachi. You just jealous.
All right, well, I know what y'all here for because, of course, I can see the dang future. Heck, I just proved it.

Speaker 3 So let's see about doing another tape.

Speaker 3 How about this one? This one looks good. Oh, I am feeling some weird wild energy from this one.

Speaker 1 Here it is.

Speaker 3 First tape.

Speaker 1 This was back in 2012.

Speaker 1 I was working in a bar at the time.

Speaker 1 I used to finish quite late. I remember this particular evening was sort of midweek, so I'd finish about half 12-ish.

Speaker 1 Because I'd work so late, I got into the habit of having a spliff when I got home, just to relax before I could actually fall asleep.

Speaker 1 Got home, went into my kitchen. Rolled a spliff as I usually do and I went outside into the back back garden, lit my smoke.

Speaker 1 I just happened to spot these orange glowing lights almost straight away.

Speaker 1 Three lights in a line just moving in my direction.

Speaker 1 The one in the middle had a slightly brighter glow about it and it was slightly bigger.

Speaker 1 This is really odd. The only thing I could think that this could be is an aeroplane.

Speaker 1 I don't live near any airports.

Speaker 1 And this thing, they were just really slowly gliding.

Speaker 1 I could tell they were coming towards me because they were getting bigger.

Speaker 1 It was really, really low, like a super low altitude. So I knew it couldn't be a plane.

Speaker 1 I still had my earphones in from the walk home.

Speaker 1 I decided to take one of them out, thinking I'm going to hear an engine or something.

Speaker 1 And I couldn't hear anything.

Speaker 1 I just couldn't really figure out what this was. I thought maybe it could be like a helicopter or something.

Speaker 1 But everything around me was just silent. I couldn't hear an engine.
I couldn't hear anything.

Speaker 1 After about three minutes of

Speaker 1 watching

Speaker 1 these lights moving towards me,

Speaker 1 they just stop in the sky.

Speaker 1 What the hell is this?

Speaker 1 I don't think I've blinked this whole time.

Speaker 1 All of a sudden, it just starts slowly sort of like moves towards the ground, gently sort of moving up and down, just ever so slightly, as if it's like just gliding and trying to find the right level to just sit at.

Speaker 1 I just couldn't take my eyes off this thing because I wanted to figure out what it was.

Speaker 1 It slowly starts like moving up higher and higher and higher until it's probably sitting like 80 meters in the sky

Speaker 1 and it just stops.

Speaker 1 The three lights have actually moved and they're now sitting in a triangle.

Speaker 1 In the middle there was like a warm white light.

Speaker 1 At this point I started to get pretty scared and I still had one earphone in so I took that earphone out.

Speaker 1 I couldn't hear a thing.

Speaker 1 That's when I thought this is a UFO.

Speaker 1 I'm actually having this experience.

Speaker 1 It slowly starts to descend. and move closer towards the ground

Speaker 1 but as it does it slowly starts moving across my neighbor's garden

Speaker 1 starts arcing round

Speaker 1 moving above my house it was gliding in such like a controlled motion

Speaker 1 and i knew that it knew that i was there

Speaker 1 because of the way that it was moving the fact that it was moving towards me

Speaker 1 That's when I really started feeling really fearful, absolutely terrified that I was just going to get abducted.

Speaker 1 This craft was slowly moving over my parents' house and it's probably about five meters from touching the roof.

Speaker 1 It's slowly, slowly creeping over and I'm craning my neck to look at it.

Speaker 1 From the light in the centre,

Speaker 1 I noticed that it's a dome.

Speaker 1 I can see the silhouette of this figure inside this dome.

Speaker 1 And I absolutely shit myself.

Speaker 1 Ran inside. I swung the door open, slammed it shut, ran straight through the kitchen.
I'm freaking out.

Speaker 1 A zap of light is going to come in and I'm going to get abducted.

Speaker 1 Absolutely pelted it up the stairs. As I was running up the stairs, I could see my sister's light was on underneath her door.

Speaker 1 Ran straight for her room, just swung the door open.

Speaker 1 As I burst in, she's sitting on the bed, all like wide-eyed.

Speaker 1 And that's when I just blurted out everything that I had just seen.

Speaker 1 Oh my fucking God, Rosie, you never guessed what I just fucking saw. I've just seen these orange flashing lights.
This thing was in the sky. I thought it was going to get abducted.

Speaker 1 She was freaked out. She was obviously petrified because I've just ran in.

Speaker 1 Got on top of her chest of drawers to look out of her window, but I couldn't see anything through that window.

Speaker 1 Look out through the other one and I can just see these lights moving off in the distance.

Speaker 1 But after that, I don't remember what else happened that night.

Speaker 1 I can't remember sleeping that night, if I did sleep, if I could sleep.

Speaker 1 I've asked my sister since, sort of like, what actually happened after I burst into your room?

Speaker 1 She said she can't even really remember.

Speaker 1 That has escaped my memory.

Speaker 1 A couple of years later, there was a guy who, him and his family, had seen something similar.

Speaker 1 He'd written about it in the local newspaper. My friend at the time had spotted it and sent it over to me.
I was like, You should get in touch with this guy. So I did.

Speaker 1 Just from reading his article, he seemed quite enthusiastic about it.

Speaker 1 I sent him my story.

Speaker 1 He was really interested in sort of like meeting up and actually having a proper chat. So

Speaker 1 we met

Speaker 1 probably a month or so afterwards in a coffee shop.

Speaker 1 I just kind of explained everything that I saw. He was like asking loads of questions about it.

Speaker 1 He was asking if I'd had any missing time.

Speaker 1 I can't remember losing time on that night, but also I'd lost some of the slight details.

Speaker 1 He thinks that I could have been abducted.

Speaker 1 It's a possibility, but I just don't know.

Speaker 1 And then he reached into his bag and he pulled out this picture

Speaker 1 and He just kind of turned it around on the table and showed it to me

Speaker 1 Is this what you saw?

Speaker 1 It was this black triangular craft

Speaker 1 In each of the corners of this triangular craft was orange lights and there was like a white light in the middle.

Speaker 1 As soon as I saw it, I thought, this is it.

Speaker 1 That's what I saw.

Speaker 3 Folks, let me say this. I don't know why some people don't believe.
in our extraticle brothers and sisters out there in outer space.

Speaker 3 Because I'm telling you, there is extratesticle life out there there for sure. We cannot be the only people in this universe.
They're as real as the hair on my back, I'm telling you.

Speaker 3 And there's a lot of proof, a lot of proof. There's photographs, there's testimonials.
You do not have to convince me. Oh, dad gummet, I apologize, but here comes a cosmological blast to my head.

Speaker 1 I was 10 to 12 years old.

Speaker 1 We lived in a really small town far away from anything.

Speaker 1 We

Speaker 1 lived in the middle of two mountains, the Appalachian Mountain Range.

Speaker 1 While we lived there, my parents had a house on top of a hill. So it really looked like from where you were on top of this hill you could see anything

Speaker 1 my best friend and i we were really tomboyish we were always outside doing anything anything we could do outside

Speaker 1 this particular night it was

Speaker 1 late at night it was dark

Speaker 1 At my parents' property, they have these lights that they could turn on so we could play well into the night.

Speaker 1 That night, we were playing basketball.

Speaker 1 My friend Stacy shot the basketball. The basketball hit the rim like a pinball.

Speaker 1 It just shot 30 feet off into the distance in a direction that a ball has never gone all the times we've ever played there.

Speaker 1 It

Speaker 1 flew in a direction that didn't make sense up and over an

Speaker 1 eight-foot wall and landed 35 feet away. And when it landed 35 feet away, we instantly thought it was going to bounce and roll down the hill like all the other balls did.

Speaker 1 If the balls got too dangerous to the edge of the hill, then they'd roll down and we'd have to go get them in the morning when the sun came out.

Speaker 1 The ball landed like a a weight at this specific spot.

Speaker 1 Both of us looked at each other like we had no idea what was going on. Like what was that?

Speaker 1 I just threw my hands up in the air and I said, okay, well, I'm gonna go get the ball.

Speaker 1 Run over to get the ball, just excited to keep playing.

Speaker 1 As I get closer to the ball, I see that the ball is like lit up,

Speaker 1 kind of glowing.

Speaker 1 I can still make out that it's the basketball. It's definitely still has like an orange tint, but like there's a light on this ball.

Speaker 1 I couldn't figure out where the light was coming from.

Speaker 1 As soon as my hands touched this glowing basketball,

Speaker 1 something inside my head, very clear, very monotone, just said, Look up.

Speaker 1 That voice in my head,

Speaker 1 the most monotone, nonspecific male-type voice.

Speaker 1 I'm still holding on to this ball. I'm still like crouched down to the ground, and I look straight up

Speaker 1 and I see a very large, very black

Speaker 1 saucer-shaped object

Speaker 1 hovering 30 to 40 yards above my head.

Speaker 1 It's blacker than any black I've ever seen.

Speaker 1 It made the sky like blue around it.

Speaker 1 I couldn't see any rivets in it or any screws or anything, but I could see kind of like panels.

Speaker 1 There were these round lights around the bottom of it, like pods around the bottom.

Speaker 1 I did not want to remove my eyes from it. I couldn't get enough of looking at it and seeing what it was.

Speaker 1 I remember saying to Stacey, do you see this?

Speaker 1 And I'm still looking up.

Speaker 1 And I can hear that at this point, she is right beside me. I can hear by her response that she's also looking up.
And she says, yeah, I see this.

Speaker 1 It made no noise.

Speaker 1 It was huge. It was bigger than our house.
It was so big that we were so close underneath it that we couldn't see the top and we couldn't see the end.

Speaker 1 No smell of like gasoline or anything, like absolutely no emissions.

Speaker 1 It felt like the air was like electric or something.

Speaker 1 You could almost hear just like the faintest little

Speaker 1 hum.

Speaker 1 I remember one of the first thoughts I thought was like, how is this thing not falling on my head?

Speaker 1 How do I not hear this thing making a massive noise? Like, what is going on?

Speaker 1 At that point, we're just standing there staring, looking at this thing. So if she sees it and I see it, then that means it must really be there.
Like, I'm not going crazy.

Speaker 1 It was about 10 seconds later of us like standing there watching it that it started to feel scary.

Speaker 1 From where we were, there was absolutely no way that it could have been looking at anything else.

Speaker 1 We were the only things outside. There weren't any wildlife there, just sort of like a blank cornfield.
And then us, two kids, just playing.

Speaker 1 I started to get this feeling. Kind of like the way I felt when something told me to look up.
I got this feeling that it was gonna take us, that it wanted to take us,

Speaker 1 that it was starting to get dangerous, that these things, whatever that was, this giant floating spaceship that was absolutely out of this world, unlike anything I've ever seen, even on television.

Speaker 1 I started thinking of all the things I could do. We knew we couldn't run away.
This thing was watching us for who knows how long.

Speaker 1 I dropped the basketball.

Speaker 1 I remember just kind of like gritting my teeth, clenching my fists really tight and just pushing the thought out of my head into the air.

Speaker 1 We don't want to go with you.

Speaker 1 The second this thought of we don't want to go with you was launched out of my mind.

Speaker 1 It started to slowly rotate.

Speaker 1 You could hear like a little, not a motor, but it was almost like a little hum.

Speaker 1 And the whole thing just started to slowly rotate in a circle.

Speaker 1 We could see the lights were slowly rotating with the ship.

Speaker 1 We just stood there, hypnotized, transfixed,

Speaker 1 and it went from standing still and hovering pretty much silently

Speaker 1 to up the valley through the mountain range 20 miles away in a half second.

Speaker 1 We

Speaker 1 ran in the direction that it went because the way it shot, it went straight up the valley, the Appalachian mountain range. So we could see its exact flight path.

Speaker 1 We ran and jumped on top of a better viewpoint and you could see it almost like a little trail of light, kind of like a shooting star, but like 10 times faster.

Speaker 1 We just kind of stood there in silence and then turned to each other and couldn't stop with the questions like, oh my God, what was that? Did you see that? Can you believe this?

Speaker 1 The questions just kept going back and forth between the two of us.

Speaker 1 The thing that we both kept saying was, but did you see the giant black ship? We kept confirming with each other that we saw it because neither one of us could believe it.

Speaker 1 We ran inside. We told my mom she was the first person we saw.

Speaker 1 We were so excited and nervous and just,

Speaker 1 you know, non-stop trying to get things out to tell her, like, we saw this black spaceship and the basketball did this.

Speaker 1 And mom, somebody's in my head telling me things, you know, like all this stuff is coming at my mom. And my mom's like,

Speaker 1 it must be the military

Speaker 1 if you both saw it and it was definitely something in the sky it has to be something military it's probably a military thing and we just don't know about it

Speaker 1 who do you talk to about it especially back in the 90s people didn't have cameras so a lot less people believed in this sort of thing you know

Speaker 1 back then you were a conspiracy theorist, you were part of some kind of government cover-up.

Speaker 1 That's not the bucket that all experiencers should be in.

Speaker 1 My parents still live there. When I go back to their house, part of the tree that it would have been closest to is kind of dead on that side.
It doesn't look like the rest of the tree.

Speaker 1 The part very specifically that would have been directly under the UFO where me and my friend Stacey were standing is just a giant dead stick.

Speaker 1 And the rest of the tree is green and blooming.

Speaker 1 Throughout

Speaker 1 our lives,

Speaker 1 this has been like

Speaker 1 a very difficult thing.

Speaker 1 People don't really want to talk about it. You know, they're not really open-minded.
It changed the way I live my life.

Speaker 1 I feel like it changed my personality.

Speaker 1 When I was 10, I was just a little kid and I believed everything an adult said, and I listened to the rules. And, you know, I was a good kid.

Speaker 1 If what I saw is real, which I know it is,

Speaker 1 our whole world is not anything that we think it is.

Speaker 1 Nothing.

Speaker 3 Oh man, them aliens just wanted to play some ball. That seems like a little harmless fun to me, but candidly, I have been known to be too trusted.
I am probably a prime target for an alien abduction.

Speaker 3 In fact, one time the aliens did pick me up, but then they dropped me right back off at the end of the street. I wasn't in there for more than 10 seconds.
