Speaker 1 So last week, as you might have seen on social media by now, a woman was working out in her gym in Los Angeles. And after her workout, before her workout, I'm not exactly sure what happened.

Speaker 1 She went into the locker room to change. And who walked in and started staring at her while she was completely butt-naked? A biological man.

Speaker 1 And I'm sure you're not surprised by now, but she was the one who was punished. And then when a female athlete spoke up about women's rights in sports, her team called her a transphobic racist.

Speaker 1 I mean, you seriously cannot make this stuff up. So obviously, it seems like we still have a lot of work to do in our culture.
Let's just dive right into this story.

Speaker 1 I'm going to let this woman tell you what happened last week at her gym in Los Angeles.

Speaker 2 I just had the worst experience ever at the gym, at Gold's Gym, and I think this is probably happening at gyms across America where like

Speaker 2 trans women are going into the women's locker room and not really caring about how women feel about it and it's really hurtful yo like how are you gonna say you want to be a woman or that you are a woman but you don't give a fuck how women feel today I was naked in the locker room I turn around and there's a man there in boyish like boy clothes lip gloss standing there looking at me I'm butt naked so the first thing I think is maybe there's a workdoor in here maybe I missed the sign I say the word sir to say sir what are you doing in here he goes don't fucking talk to me I'm a woman I have a right to be in here immediately I'm fucking pissed because I'm butt naked I feel violated I feel like weird like I don't want to deal with this right how can you say you're a woman or you want to be a woman and you don't care how women feel

Speaker 2 Nothing more manly than not giving a fuck about how women feel, I'd like to think. When is the cutoff point? Is it like, oh, you cut off your penis, you can come in here?

Speaker 2 Why aren't women making the laws? And if you really want to fucking be safe and feel good, why don't we just make trans restrooms?

Speaker 1 Because it ain't right. I mean, that would make sense.
Like, nothing she said in that entire video was incorrect.

Speaker 1 Now, that was the video that she made and she posted after the altercation at Gold's Gym, which I believe is no longer a Gold's Gym. It's technically an EOS gym.

Speaker 1 I'm not sure, but on the outside of the building, it says Gold's Gym. So there's been some back and forth about that.
Anyway, that's not even important, right? Let's move on.

Speaker 1 Anyway, the altercation took place. She was kicked out of the gym.
She got in her car and she made this video.

Speaker 1 And this now happened about a week ago, but it has just now taken off on social media in the last 48 hours or so. So again, you guys are probably seeing all of these videos going off on X.

Speaker 1 And like I said, nothing she said in that video was wrong. She is totally valid in every single thing that she said.

Speaker 1 And massive props to her for not just rolling over and ignoring and accepting the fact that this is her reality because it doesn't have to be.

Speaker 1 It shouldn't be the reality for her or any woman that is expecting privacy and security in a woman's locker room because she's right. It is not normal.
It doesn't feel normal. It doesn't feel safe.

Speaker 1 And it feels like there is no end in sight for common sense, rational women who just want to have privacy and feel secure.

Speaker 1 And I want to make it clear, him being in the locker room was bad enough, but it wasn't just that he was in the locker room. It is how he was treating the women who were there in the first place.

Speaker 1 This woman, Trish, who is a rapper in LA, by the way, she tweeted more about the incident over the last few days and she said, this person told me he was a woman and demanded that I leave the women's locker room.

Speaker 1 He said, quote, straight women like Dick, they're probably looking at me more than you.

Speaker 1 My jaw was on the floor when I read that tweet. The audacity, what does a woman's sexuality or who she's attracted to have to do with anything?

Speaker 1 Like a woman being attracted to men, usually a specific man that she's in love with or in a relationship with, does not mean that she wants to see your genitalia on display when she's just trying to wrap up a workout in a space that she believes is private and safe and secure.

Speaker 1 I mean, that is insanity. And the fact that he said that just shows how entitled he is and how secure he feels in his presence in that locker room, that he feels like he deserves to be there.

Speaker 1 And actually, it's not a him problem. It's an everybody else problem.

Speaker 1 It's a female problem that they need to work through and they should actually be grateful that he's there so that they can stare at his dick. I mean, it is truly.

Speaker 1 It is truly reprehensible. Now, Trish went on, she commented on that post and she said, I was naked, scared, and being yelled at.
He called me a bitch in front of everyone. Classy.

Speaker 1 Classy, very feminine, delicate, lovely female behavior. A young woman was also in the bathroom.
She froze up completely traumatized and later thanked me for being there with her.

Speaker 1 I've been told I could lose my music career if I speak out, but I don't care. And good for you.
Like genuinely good for you because at this point, the gloves are coming off everywhere.

Speaker 1 Like good people know that this is insane. And regardless of what happens in your career, you will be on the right side of history.

It is the patriarchy rebranded as inclusiveness. Exactly.

Speaker 1 A women's right issue is protecting a woman's right to safety and privacy and security, protecting them from the insanity that we are seeing play out in this story right now.

Speaker 1 I actually think we talked about it in a couple of episodes, but something that disgusts me more than anything when it comes to these stories is when we have the videos of these altercations take place, and other women and other individuals just stand around totally silent, silent, totally complicit in all of this.

Speaker 1 Just like this video.

Speaker 3 And that's why I'm getting kicked out and I want to make sure the girls know.

Speaker 1 I mean Trish was totally alone there. Nobody else wanted to engage.
They all just kind of, I'm going to put in my headphones and ignore this crazy lady. She is not crazy.

Speaker 1 She's actually standing up for all of you. She is standing up for basic biological truth and reality.
And everybody else just wanted to ignore it and walk away.

Speaker 1 Another altercation with this individual took place outside of the locker room and it looks like, to his credit, a man did stand up for her.

Speaker 1 But I want you, before you watch this video, I want you to look out for the employee because the employee jumped in. But she only jumped in to protect the man in a sports bra.

Speaker 2 Did you tell me or not that women like you see this?

Speaker 2 Exactly. Exactly.

Speaker 2 Stay out of the way.

Speaker 2 No. Now he knows how to be a man, right? Now he knows how to be a man.
Stay out of the women's locker room.

Speaker 2 We don't want it.

Speaker 2 He needs to have his gym membership revoked with that shit.

Speaker 2 And the woman told you. He assaulted me.

Speaker 2 The girl told already. We have already filed a report.

Speaker 2 That's gone. No.

Speaker 2 You can't get rid of me for this. I'm a woman, and I have every right to not want a man in the restroom when I'm naked.

Speaker 1 Okay, so I'm going to pause right there because obviously you saw the female employee try to jump in defending the man. But what is so insane is at the end of the video, she is being pulled out.

Speaker 1 They're saying, Ma'am, you need to leave. And he saunters right back into the women's locker room.
That's what's happening at the end of this video. He's going, okay.

Speaker 1 He is prancing right back in to continue trampling on the rights and privacy and security of the women at this gym. And she seems to be the only person that realizes how insane this is.

Speaker 1 And listen, I'm sure that the gym has its policies, and this employee is trying to do the right thing. Maybe, hopefully, maybe I'm just being naive.

Speaker 1 I know that California has policies that protect trans people versus women, but women's compliance, just in general, in looking at the trajectory of this issue, is a huge reason why we still have this problem in 2025.

Speaker 1 They bent the knee every single time. They compromised without end, trying to be kind and inclusive.
I mean, they were trying to do a good thing, but their kindness continued to be taken advantage of.

Speaker 1 And now we are here. And now when women like Trish do speak up, they are the ones who get punished and ostracized.
And this very same thing is happening right now in the Women's Soccer League.

Speaker 1 So Elizabeth Eddy is a female soccer player for the Angel City FC, and she wrote a piece for the New York Post last week about this exact issue.

Speaker 1 And it's titled, the National Women's Soccer League Must Adopt Gender Standards to Keep Growing.

Speaker 1 So in this article, she writes, addressing this challenge entails remembering why women's sports categories exist in the first place.

Speaker 1 Not to exclude, but to create a space where female athletes can physically compete on equal footing.

Speaker 1 Then she goes into the differences between men and women, the studies that show that men have a biological advantage. And she goes on and she says, fairness and inclusion are core American values.

Speaker 1 Reasonable people can disagree about where to draw the line, but avoiding the conversation altogether by shutting out diverse views does not serve us.

Speaker 1 In fact, we owe it to our current and future female athletes to solve this. She goes on and she says, I know from experience that the National Women's Soccer League is more than just a sports league.

Speaker 1 For many, dreams are coming true in real life, dreams that were impossible before my generation.

Speaker 1 I also understand that for many athletes and fans, seeing intersex and transgender athletes compete and dominate on sports's biggest stages also realizes a dream.

Speaker 1 How can we make an open arena reality for small and tragically marginalized minorities with nowhere else that may feel safe and inclusive to to compete.

Speaker 1 I mean, guys, this is an incredibly balanced and fair piece.

Speaker 1 Many people, especially on the conservative side of this issue, would say that this was too fair, that she's giving too much in this argument.

Speaker 1 But this is a kind piece that is trying to address everyone's feelings, everyone's concerns. And guess what? Her league lost their damn mind.
All she was asking was, can we have a conversation?

Speaker 1 Let's not shut out people for their opinions. And this is how they responded.
And of course, before you even ask, the first people to condemn her were, of course, her female teammates. Just watch.

Speaker 4 going into this i'm a little bit nervous because i think um it's a big job to represent your team and speak for your team and not just that speak for others who this will be important to

Speaker 4 we've all obviously seen the article that was written in the new york post earlier this week so i really want to start off by saying that that article does not speak for this team in this locker room.

Speaker 4 I've had a lot of combos with my teammates in the past few days and they are hurt and they are harmed by the article and also they are disgusted by some of the things that were said in the article and it's really important for me to say that.

Speaker 4 And we don't agree with the things written for a plethora of reasons, but mostly the undertones come across as transphobic and racist as well.

Speaker 1 Transphobic and racist because the individual in question, just one individual in question, even though Elizabeth was talking about the issue at large, is an African-American biological man.

Speaker 1 And because of that, she is a racist transphobe. Even though in the piece she was saying, can we just have a conversation?

Speaker 1 Even though in the piece she said, I understand the need for a space for everyone to be able to compete, for everyone to be able to have their dreams realized.

Speaker 1 Because of that, still, even though she said that, they condemned her.

Speaker 1 And that's why it's so important that you can't give them an inch because they will take them out of the label, twist your words no matter what you do.

Speaker 1 So you might as well just be honest and say exactly what you think because at the end of the day, people are going to say what they're going to say.

Speaker 1 They're going to condemn you even if they are sisters to you. Even if you spend all of this time in the locker room, on the field training with them, they will turn on you on a dime.

Speaker 1 I mean, it's like, it's laughable, but it's so expected at this point.

Speaker 1 One person in the comment section took the words out of my mouth and said, you should be ashamed of yourself for throwing your own player and teammate under the bus for simply showing one thing, courage.

Speaker 1 She should be applauded for standing up for women's rights, and you do the opposite. The absolute bare minimum you could have done was say, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Speaker 1 I mean, that's basically what happened with the Kansas City Chiefs when Harrison Butker made his now infamous graduation speech a couple of years ago.

Speaker 1 And Andy Reed and the team and the players all got out there and they said, listen, we love him. He's allowed to think whatever he wants to think.
We're just going to focus on playing.

Speaker 1 That would have been a good move, as this commenter is saying. That's the bare minimum.
But even that would have been a coward move. But you had to take it a step further.

Speaker 1 You are a woke mob against your own people and it is absolutely disgusting. Couldn't have said it better myself.
And then this one, I'm sorry, was just too good not to share.

Speaker 1 This commenter said, why are so many young women such intellectual midgets, unable to deal with such simple binary reality male versus female?

Speaker 1 Why are so many young women such abject cowards refusing to stand up for what is right? Why are so many women such pathetic, pandering Cynco pants?

Speaker 1 Unfortunately, I say this as a young woman. Unfortunately, this commenter is asking valid questions based on our society, based on what we're seeing on social media and in the world.

Speaker 1 He is asking a very good question. Like even the women that are being elected into office are not protecting women, as Trish and Elizabeth both said.

Speaker 1 And this was on full display at a recent debate in Virginia during the governor's election. Just listen to this response from the Democrat candidate.

Speaker 5 And that's why I'm asking my opponent: if your little girl comes home and said said she was forced to undress in a locker room with a biological boy, what would you say? She's crying.

Speaker 5 What would you say?

Speaker 5 Would you,

Speaker 5 are you not going to answer?

Speaker 1 Nothing. She says nothing.
It is complete and utter silence. She does not care.
She's looking into the abyss.

Speaker 1 I'm not going to even involve myself. What? That is a real concern as a mother.
Are you not thinking? Are you not having those conversations with your teenage daughter?

Speaker 1 That is the kind of response that women who stand up to this nonsense have come to expect. Like that is the bare minimum.
Just not caring, complete ambivalence, just ignoring all of it.

Speaker 1 But retaliation these days is far more likely. Like what Elizabeth Eddie is facing from her team or Trish literally getting escorted out of the gym and having her membership canceled.

Speaker 1 And based on what we know, based on what Trish has said, the biological man in question, well, of course, his gym membership is totally fine.

Speaker 1 She tweeted and she said, Gold's gym terminated my membership after the man was escorted out by the police. They then had me escorted out by officers.
Afterwards, it was embarrassing.

Speaker 1 I left, but not before making sure that everyone knew that they were allowing men in the locker room. Now, as I said, this whole thing happened back in October about a week ago.

Speaker 1 It's going viral right now. People are pulling Trisha's posts from TikTok.

Speaker 1 And one of the most recent videos that she uploaded, I think, just really hit the nail on the head about what we need to do moving forward with this issue. Just listen.

Speaker 2 I'm just a woman who's standing up for women's rights. And I don't give a fuck what you are.
If you're a Republican, a Democrat, I don't care if you support Trump or Kamala. I don't give a fuck.

Speaker 2 All I need is people to come together for one thing. It's to help women, to save women.
Women! Women! Not fucking men with dicks and dresses. Women!

Speaker 1 Okay? Really simple. It is so incredibly simple.
It's not men who show up to the gym in sports bras and earrings and lip gloss. That does not make you a woman.

Speaker 1 I know that you guys have tried to boil down womanhood into some kind of caricature, into a costume that you could just easily put on, but biology, reality, does not work like that.

Speaker 1 And a lot of women, not all of them, but a lot of women are fed up and they are no longer being silent. And Tricia's absolutely right, this should be a unifying issue.

Speaker 1 I actually believe that this can be and is a unifying issue.

Speaker 1 Based on polling, the majority of Americans believe that men should not be in women's sports, that men should not be invading women's private spaces.

Speaker 1 And it's interesting and comical to me how the left always says that conservatives hate women, that we're so patriarchal, that we're so backwards and awful to women that we hate women's rights.

Speaker 1 Yet, it seems that usually it's conservative women taking a beating for this issue. Meanwhile, the Democrats, the feminists, the women's rights advocates, they stay silent time and time again.

Speaker 1 Even when it is a black lesbian from LA who is calling out for their help.

Speaker 1 And usually I don't care about somebody's race or sexual identity, but it's so integral to the story because it really is just the comical cherry on top.

Speaker 1 Like due to the current thing, due to who is the most oppressed in our society right now, Trish, who by the left's own standards is a minority and a protected class, is still pushed to the side.

Speaker 1 She's not marginalized enough right now, and therefore her feelings do not matter because because she has offended the more marginalized group at this time. Like it is genuinely bonkers.

Speaker 1 It makes no sense. The rationality does not exist to be honest.
And yet this is the world that we live in.

Speaker 1 Now we talked about this a couple of weeks ago, but there are studies that are showing that transgenderism is on a decline, especially for my generation. And I am beyond thrilled to hear that.

Speaker 1 Not for any like transphobic reason, obviously, but because that means that for my generation, young people, they are probably happier.

Speaker 1 They're probably more confident and comfortable in their skins, which is a net positive for everyone.

Speaker 1 And also because hopefully one day, because of that trend, because it's on a downwards trajectory, that means we will have even more people standing up against this insane backwards ideology, because that is what we need.

Speaker 1 You cannot claim to protect women and love women and then shame them for their concerns and silence them. for their worries.

Speaker 1 You cannot create layers of marginalized, victimized, oppressed groups and then ignore them and brush them aside for the current thing. It genuinely does not make sense.

Speaker 1 And I am sure, in fact, I know that there are a lot of people out there who believe genuinely that men can be women and they want to support this craziness, they believe in it with all of their heart and soul.

Speaker 1 But for a lot of people, I think that they just turned a blind eye and roll over out of genuine fear. And that is what needs to end.
We need more Trish Hymans. We need more Elizabeth Eddies.
