We have great conversations about all of the things that are going on today, including the budget.
Max Lucato joins us about Christmas.
We talk about how corrupt our government really is, and we have new documentation on a whole buttload of lies, all on today's podcast.
Let me talk to you about my Patriot Supply.
With the Trump administration coming in, I don't know if I do.
I feel pretty good.
I feel pretty good, really.
However, with the entire world melting down, I don't feel so good.
I'll feel much better in about five weeks, you know?
January 20th, I'm going to feel pretty darn good.
Up until then,
let's keep our powder dry.

the best of the Blandbeck program.
All right, I want to ask you:
why would you believe anything that this government tells you?
And I mean anything.
You want to talk about a betrayal of trust.
We don't trust our institutions anymore.
I'm going to show you why.
And this is going to get much worse as we actually,
we don't need to run investigations or anything else.
All we need to do is release all of the reports so you can see all the things that have been hidden from you in the last four years and honestly the last, I don't know, 16 years.
We need to see all of it.
And the corruption,
the corruption from this administration is going to make
Watergate
and the Kennedy cover-up, all of that look like nursery school.
We are now starting to get reports.
Now, remember, what's going on with these drones?
Are they ours?
Are they Chinese?
Are they Russian?
Or are they just hobbyists?
The reason why I can't tell you is there's not any credible sources.
And I've talked to senators, I've talked to state senators, U.S.
senators, I've talked to Intel, I've had conversations on the air, off the air.
Not a single one of them or their agencies has credibility enough for me to come to you and say, I think this is what it is.
Other than just me just making it up.
I think this is what it is.
But I don't trust it.
It's kind of like how I felt before the election where you're like, oh, I think we're going to win.
And then 15 minutes later, you're like, I don't know if we're going to win.
I feel like that on every news story, you know, especially with the drones.
I think this is China.
No, it's definitely us.
Here's why.
Three reports came out yesterday.
Try this one on for size.
The Army Secretary
stymied the National Guard on January 6th.
Now,
this is a new report that just came in that
Donald Trump tried to use the National Guard to ensure safety on January 6th.
Now, remember, they called out the National Guard and they sat on their hands for a while.
Remember that?
They didn't come until it was almost dark.
And we're like, where is the National Guard?
Where's backup?
And they blamed it on Donald Trump and said, oh, he never did that.
Well, we already found out.
Now that was a lie.
Two days before he was saying, use the National Guard.
And then when he authorized that day the use of the National Guard, they were all sitting in their barracks waiting to go, wondering, watching TV, wondering, why aren't we being deployed?
Well, it wasn't Donald Trump.
After a two-year investigation
from the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight,
what happened?
The former Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and two Pentagon Army generals, oh, and the acting defense secretary Chris Miller, what did they do?
They put roadblocks up and stopped them from being
from being deployed.
Wait, wait, wait, wait a minute, what?
So then after they did that was a giant cover-up.
That's why we didn't get videos for like four years.
That's why we haven't seen any of the stuff from January 6th because
they were the ones.
First of all, we know Nancy Pelosi was told by the president, do you need National Guard in a couple of days?
I'm a little concerned about it.
She said no.
It took us until, what, 10 minutes ago before we got the video of her from her daughter saying on January 6th, this is my fault.
I should have, I should have done more.
This is my fault.
No, no.
Not only did they do this, the inspector general was part of the cover-up.
So when Trump said, I swear to you, Trump knew this, when Trump said,
what, about a month ago that we have to now separate the IG from whoever they are,
you know, keeping tabs on and investigating, that they can't answer to the Pentagon if they're investigating the Pentagon.
Gee, that's a well, what a surprise that is.
This is why.
Because the Inspector General was part of the cover-up.
And then they started fabricating things.
And then when it got to Liz Cheney, we now know she actually tampered with the witnesses.
Liz,
give me a reason to believe anything from any official in the United States government.
I will give you a comprehensive list of reasons if we could cue the cricket noises here.
I was going to say, wow.
No, no, no.
Obviously, we should not believe a word that comes out of any government official's mouth.
And it actually gives me pain to say this because I wish that we could trust our institutions a little bit more.
I used to.
It's part of the American spirit to be kind of skeptical and a little cynical about this stuff.
This Laudermilk report, though, this is, I mean, I read it when it came out yesterday.
I was rereading it right now.
And the stuff
involved in the aftermath of January 6th, how this was leveraged as an attack on Trump is quite something.
They deleted, the January 6th committee deleted a terabyte of evidence.
They withheld it from the final report and then deleted it.
And it was on our show when they first took over.
I had a House member on the air and they said, Glenn,
they deleted all this information.
We went on the air and people are like,
they were just trying to make the Democrats look bad.
No,
they deleted a terabyte of information.
That's like bleach bit and hammers 2.0.
That's the significance of deleting it.
Also, they didn't investigate who constructed.
Remember those gallows that were constructed outside of January 6th and it was used to paint us all as white supremacists, Nazis,
anybody who had any concerns about the outcome of that election.
You'd think that would be the first thing they would investigate.
But not only did they not investigate it, they deconstructed the gallows and just put it in the back of a government-owned truck.
Like, what, are you taking it back to your government shed where it came from?
So they took it out of the government truck, set it up, and then they put it back in the government truck?
Yeah.
More or less.
This is,
it is, it's, you know, when I said a minute ago, I used to believe the government,
that's wrong.
I shouldn't have believed the government.
You know, George Washington said government is like fire.
When it's out of control, it will burn everything down.
And it is,
when you do control it, it's good.
It could keep you warm, but it could also burn you up at the same time.
You've got to be careful.
It's fire.
And none of us...
have looked, my age, looked at the government that way because the last people that said it were the hippies and they're the Nancy Pelosis.
So, what the hell?
You know what I mean?
Now, so much over the last 20 years has been exposed.
It's just sickening.
And what I don't understand is how Democrats, and I don't mean the people in Washington, and I don't mean
the machinery, I mean how Democrats who vote are
still buying any of this stuff?
How do you not see it?
How do you be a fan of what RFK was saying just on health?
I'm not saying necessarily the vaccine stuff,
even the vaccine stuff now, but
how were you behind all of that, that big pharmaceutical is bad?
And now
you just, without any new evidence, in fact, all evidence points to you were right.
How do you support it?
What happened to you?
I changed.
I can tell you when I changed, why I changed.
What changed you?
How did you go from, no, you know, sexual predators, you know,
we shouldn't have them in the classroom too.
You know, it's not so bad.
It's really not.
What changed?
By the way, I'm in Nashville.
The hockey team, the Nashville Predators.
Not a good name.
And please never have kids get in for free.
You know, don't have one of those nights where, hey, half price for kids.
You're the predators.
Change your name.
Anyway, I digress.
I have a suggestion of what they could change it to.
I mean, I hear that Pocahontas in the style of Elizabeth Warren is off the crack.
Not if Donald Trump has anything to do with it.
Then you also have the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Now, we have been saying this for three years now.
These numbers don't make sense.
These numbers don't make sense.
The numbers in the economy don't match.
Now, when the economy goes down and the stock market goes up, that doesn't make sense either.
But I can explain that.
That's because the Fed and Wall Street are just circling the money.
They're printing money, giving it to the big corporations, and the big corporations are buying their stock back.
That's why the stock market is doing what it's doing and and is no longer an indication of anything real.
But BLS, the jobs report, how can so many people be unemployed, working part-time, and yet, oh, the labor statistics, we're adding jobs like crazy.
Well,
for a couple of reasons.
One, illegal immigration.
They're getting the jobs that do exist.
You're not.
If you are here legally, you're not.
Why?
Because the government's not going to be the police.
They're not going to stop you.
And if you're paying people under the table, if you're paying people less than what you have to pay, you can get away with it because the government's never going to stop you.
Hmm.
Public-private partnership again.
Now we find out that
the Bureau of Labor Statistics said, we just made some mistakes.
For the last three years,
it has erased every job gain.
They have now done the math up to, I think, the second or third quarter of this year, and they've done the math.
There's no job growth.
There's not been any job growth.
None.
All of that was a lie.
Why do you believe?
Why?
Help me out, Liz.
I got it.
You know, it's interesting when you talk about not believing our government and not believing politicians.
We started the show talking about that 41% of young people who are okay with the murder of United Healthcare CEO.
And there's an interesting mindset change that's happening among the American people, specifically among younger people, where they are actually properly diagnosing a problem or a grievance or some kind of corruption.
They are just mistaken, sometimes not just mistaken, evil in their prescription, and their prescription is poison.
I'm speaking at Amfest.
I'm the keynote speaker, last speaker on Saturday,
and I'm going to address this because that's filled with young people who
it's very easy.
You have a real grievance, but
you have been trained to misplace it.
You have been trained by Marxists to never look at the collusion with the government.
That's the real problem.
And you don't have anything to believe in.
You didn't grow up in America that didn't have TSA, which, by the way, Dallas TSA, I got a lot to say about you.
You didn't grow up in a world without that.
You haven't grown up in a world where you're not monitored all the time.
You weren't in an America where somebody could have an idea in a garage.
This is why Elon Musk is so amazing.
Because he just has ideas and he does them and they work.
Nobody can do that anymore.
Even Bill Gates, that evil, anyway, he even has said years ago he couldn't have started Microsoft in his garage now with all of the laws and regulations.
You don't know what real freedom is like.
I remember it.
You want that.
And you don't want what you've been taught in your schools is what you want.
No, they're wrong.
They're lying to you.
And that's what's causing the problems in America.
Let me tell you about Good Ranchers.
Remember, what's under the tree this year isn't nearly as important as what's in your heart.
And what's in my heart?
Well,
steak.

Now back to the podcast.
You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
Okay.
Where were we, Liz?
The Biden administration, although not Biden, because he can't tell the difference between a nickel and a dime trying to sabotage the Trump administration.
Yeah, so the latest on this is now
Biden is hiring 1,200, Biden's not doing it, but
he's hiring 1,200 DEI officials and putting them just under
the appointed official.
So there'll be 1,200.
Some of these people make almost $400,000 a year.
$400,000 a year.
That's your tax dollar.
Will you,
in your life,
your average person,
I don't know if you'll ever even
if you'll ever even pay $400,000 in taxes.
So you could be working your whole life
for that one hire.
And he's hired 1,200 of them.
And all he's trying to do is make sure that the DEI positions just can't get cut.
I got news for you.
Donald Trump is going to cut those positions.
He's going to.
And it's going to get ugly.
I mean, the ACLU was all over this and saying, oh,
we've got plans.
We're going to, we're going to,
this is obscene.
This is absolutely obscene what the Democrats are trying to do by thwarting the next president and honestly, thwarting the will of the American people.
You remember the speech that was given by, I don't know, some boob from,
well, one of the Carolinas.
I don't want to besmirch the other one for electing a boob.
But
he was giving a speech in the well of the Senate, and he said,
we need a shadow government.
Wait, hold it.
You mean a deep state?
Because we already have one of those.
And he said, and this is a quote, one of the most obscene things I've ever heard from an elected representative, we failed to make our case that our policies are better.
Now, in my world growing up in America, the next sentence is, we need to sit down and talk and find out why we're out of step with the American people.
His was, but we know we're right, so we need a shadow government to make sure we put our policies in anyway.
There's nothing more un-American than that.
By the way, Ted Cruz also said,
he thinks there's criminal charges that could be lodged against Biden and his administration for the selling of the steel and the walls for the border.
I think so, too.
I think so, too.
He'll probably end up blanketing, pardoning everybody.
that has either lived by a Biden or is a Democrat, worked for the administration.
Everybody's going to get a pardon at the end.
It's like, honestly, it's like, hey, everybody, Oprah's here.
Look under your seats because you got a pardon and you got a pardon and you got a pardon.
Now,
the Department of Health and Human Services on November 15th, this is posted almost immediately after President Trump has been re-elected, they advertised for the following position, a deputy assistant secretary for minority health with a salary of up to $221,000.
This is the goal of this position or this is the purpose of this position to quote, promote health equity.
To promote health equity, what does that mean?
It means racial discrimination in healthcare.
It means if you are seeking,
I don't know, think about during the pandemic when there was limited resources, limited beds in the emergency room, limited amounts of, you know, drugs and and therapeutics that people could access in order to treat COVID when it was at its worst.
Well, now you're going to be screened based on the color of your skin.
That's what health equity is because equity is not equality.
Equity is a word used
to disguise the reality that it's just, it's socialism.
It's discrimination.
It requires a government official to look at you.
and make a decision about whether or not you are going to have access to health care that you might need based on what you look like, not based on the severity of your illness, not based on your ability to pay, not based on your request for care, but based on the color of your skin.
That's not only wrong and immoral and completely absurd that a bureaucrat in that kind of position would make over $221,000.
That's evil.
The left likes to pretend that you're a racist or I'm a racist just for voting for Donald Trump.
This is evil racism.
This is the kind of stuff that we eradicated from our country, and Biden's trying to plant the Trump administration with these evil little minions before he leaves.
I mean,
why are we surprised?
How many anti-slavery amendments do we have to the Constitution?
I mean, it's amazing to me, with very few exception, after 10,
most of these seem to be like, oh, yeah.
Okay, you're so stupid you don't understand.
Slaves need to be free.
Okay, then the next amendment is like, okay, all right, let me limp up to explain this once more.
That means they're Americans and can vote.
How many amendments are
just one after another, especially on slavery?
And by the way, Who was it that didn't understand slaves should be freed?
The Democratic Party.
I swear to you, these these amendments are just, God, we didn't think you would be this stupid.
It's already covered, but let's lay it out clearly for you.
You cannot discriminate by color, by race, by religion.
We thought that had already been covered, but apparently not.
What I would do if I were the Trump transition team is there were, this is obviously a deliberate effort by the Biden administration because within the first 10 days after the election, 33 of these jobs were posted on government websites.
So this was, they were like, okay, Trump's coming in.
Let's start seeding the deep state with these racists.
What I would do if I were Trump transition is I would say we take racial equality very seriously.
We take civil rights very seriously in the administration of the 47th president of the United States.
And anybody who engages, especially a government official who engages in racial discrimination, will be prosecuted and prevent these people from even accepting these jobs because they will be threatened with legal action if they do.
You can make a legal case, a solid legal case, that that is exactly right.
And that's what should be done.
They would be doing that to us if
we were discriminating on race.
If we're like, you know what, we're only going to hire white people.
We would go to jail.
Oh, you know what?
We're just going to shuffle the deck here.
We're going to look look at everybody, but we lean towards white people.
Did you have weedies for breakfast?
If you had weedies as a childhood, you're in a different category.
Okay.
I mean,
we would go to jail.
We would be shut down.
It's the same thing, but don't expect the Democrats to get it.
Do you see the new or the DNC chair frontrunner, the one they're thinking should be ahead of the DNC?
He said the problem with the election is the convention should have featured pro-Hamas activists.
I totally agree.
It absolutely should have.
At least they would have been honest.
At least it would have been honest.
Think about how many Democrat voters and really prominent people, too.
I'm talking about Joe Rogan.
I'm talking about Elon Musk.
I'm talking about RFK Jr.
These were fairly hardcore Democrats who not only converted to being like, okay, we'll tolerate a Republican because it's not Joe Budd and it's not Kamal Harris.
These people are the biggest supporters of President Trump out there right now because of that kind of garbage.
So DNC, if you're going to be radical, please be honest and tell us.
Thank you.
It's just, it's just ushering new Republican voters right into our arms.
I respect you more than I respect people like Mike Johnson.
Mike Johnson doesn't tell me what, you know.
He doesn't tell me what he really is, what he really believes.
He tells me what I want to hear.
I don't believe it.
Then he's elected and then he gets in and he rapes you.
You know, I have much more respect for people who are like, yeah, I'm pro-Hamas and you should elect me.
Well, don't think I'm going to do it, but thank you for telling me who you really are.
Yeah, great.
Let's take all of the Democrat members of Congress and let's Jamal Bauman them.
Let's Corey Bush them.
Because as soon as they were honest about being pro-Hamas, man, voters were like, actually, we're good.
Yep.
By the way, Hochul has come out and she is now.
Trying to stir up support to end the Electoral College
because no offense, Wyoming, according to her words,
New York voted for Kamala Harris.
You know, it is so dishonest, and
this would have no space if we were actually teaching students what the Electoral College is for.
You want to talk about fairness.
Here's fairness.
Should New York City dictate what all of New York does?
No, they have have representation of all the small towns, all the farming towns, everything else.
New York city should not be the one that tells everyone else exactly how to live.
I think there should be electoral colleges in states now because the cities are just devouring all of the communities outside of those mega cities.
The electoral college is to make sure that New York, California, and let me say Texas doesn't run over all of the other states and force how they're living in those cities and those big states in Wyoming
or Idaho
or Alabama.
I don't have to live like you do in New York City.
I don't want to live like you do in New York City.
And we have completely different values than you do.
We should
have a say an even
equal seat at the table.
That's why we have the Electoral College and we have the popular vote.
So you can see, and it's usually pretty close.
This time, however, Hochul, you lost the popular vote.
So you don't really have a case here on the Electoral College, but you don't have a, if you're an American, you don't have a case on the Electoral College anyway.
Wait a second.
Have we wargamed the scenario that you just proposed?
If there was an electoral college on the state level in California or on the state level in New York, what would the have we actually looked in a map here?
If anybody has done this, tag me on social media because I am fascinated by this idea.
I'd not thought of this before, but I would we actually swing those states Republican if there was a state level?
I bet we would.
You know, every time, look at look at Wyoming.
Jackson Hole now controls Wyoming.
Just controls it.
Who's so close to controlling Texas?
All the big cities yeah uh you know you you don't have a chance when these cities grow so large they tip everything
that's why we have an electoral college and it didn't used to be this way but our cities are becoming mega cities almost states on in and among themselves you you have to balance otherwise the farmer and everybody else that makes your life possible in a city get screwed And also
think about cheating for a second.
If you have a popular vote across the whole country versus an electoral college system, it's a lot easier to impact the outcome of the entire presidential election because you can have one county somewhere with corrupt election officials.
And if they cheat by 10,000 votes, that could change the outcome of the election.
But if you're in electoral college, it doesn't necessarily.
This is the best of the Glenn Beck program.
I have to tell you, Chip Roy,
if this is what we get out of the Republicans,
I think we're going to have a problem.
I think we're going to have a problem.
Welcome.
How are you, Chip?
Well, Glenn,
I'm here.
And I'm frustrated.
Look, look, it is the season of the birth of our Savior, and we live in the United States of America, and it's still the greatest country in the the history of the world.
So we start there.
You know we have Max Lucato on.
That's why you're behaving yourself.
He's on in about 20 minutes and you're like, I just want to make sure I'm good with a Savior right now.
Just in case.
Well,
look,
here's the thing.
And all of your listeners know this.
No one's surprised, right?
No one is surprised.
They might be surprised it's as bad as it is, but they're not surprised.
Here's the bottom line.
Since Republicans were given the majority again in the United States House of Representatives, with the prospect of the incoming president and Doge and Elon of Vivek and a Republican Senate, what have we done?
We have, to the best of my account, if we pass this bill, which is still being determined today, what's going to happen, if we pass this bill, this bill will add another $110 billion
of unpaid-for deficit spending, plus a health care package that is partially paid for, but it's a lot of gimmicks.
So it really is continuing to drive the deficit by another probably $25 billion.
And
all of that is on top of the almost $200 billion
bill that they passed that is essentially a windfall bill under Social Security that shortens the timeline for Social Security's bankruptcy by six to nine months because it's another $200 billion of unpaid for spending.
So in essence, we have increased the debt some $335 billion in 45 days.
That is what we've done.
Now, we've already got a lot of money.
You've gone a little further than that.
I don't know if you've missed the funding for the Global Engagement Center for the State Department.
We're funding them for another year.
Okay, good.
Good.
All right.
So
I'm just talking deficit.
Like, just point one because that's that problem.
Point two
is that we're going through in this bill and we're funding a significant number of priorities that are contrary to what the American people gave us the majority to do.
Not kind of.
Not even kind of contrary.
Absolutely, the American people sent a message to the world, we're not for any of this crap.
Now, go ahead.
What's in there?
No, that's exactly right.
There is in that, and by the way, we got the text last night at 6.30 p.m.
So we've been going through the text like all of America, right?
We didn't have the text.
All we had was an outline until 6.30 last night.
So now we're going through the text and we're finding what you just pointed out.
We're funding, for example, the enemies of free speech that we're undermining and that our friends at the Federalists, like Sean Davis and Molly Hemingway, are telling.
We're funding, for example,
an extension of PAPA, right, which is the preparedness thing with respect to vaccines with no real shift and change to the blatant problems that we have with our health agencies on vaccine extensions.
Like, why would we just extend that?
Can I ask on that one?
What additional emergency powers
is the government in need of right now that we should give them?
Why is that even in there?
This is the problem, right?
You've got, and to back up, because we can go through one by one, but the real issue here that's being exposed, you saw Elon tweeted out last night about this, because this bill is contrary to the very existence of Doge.
But keep in mind, remember two weeks ago when Elon and Vivek came in to address the conference, you've got all of these Republicans flocking to the microphone to basically kiss the feet and kiss the ring and say, oh, thank you.
Thanks for being here.
Oh, you're so great.
You've got...
people who are no champions of conservatism who are joining doge caucuses and going out and saying i'm going to be the leader on Doge.
Why?
Because they know the American people are sick of all the garbage and they want cover.
They want to hide.
But here's the thing.
The emperor has no clothes.
There's nowhere to hide.
You've got a bill like this that
honestly, for whatever you want to say about the speaker and any disappointment about what we're dealing with, and there's plenty to discuss as we go through all this, it is also a reflection of the conference itself.
Okay?
In other words, when I went in front of the conference that day, two weeks ago, when Vivek and Elon were here, and I said at the microphone, I said, guys, I'm glad you're here.
We need to empower the president with impoundment so he can cut spending.
I think it's constitutional to do so.
Vivek agreed, and we're all talking about it.
But I said, here's the thing.
You guys, all of the people here at the mic, you guys have been, you, Elon, Vivek, you're looking for the problem.
You're looking for the enemy, and it's right here in front of you.
This is
the people in this room.
And everybody, look, I had applause from the usual quarter of the conference that are conservative and want to fight.
And then a whole bunch of people that were like, oh, we can't, oh, that's terrible.
Why would you say that well I would say that because we create the programs we pass the we pass all the bills it's not to say there aren't executive branch problems and abuses by the administrative state there are but we fund them we create them and our guys go to them they say chip we have to do economic assistance for farmers and I'll say you know what our farmers are hurting They're hurting because of bad policies.
They're hurting because of a corrupt farm bill system.
They're hurting because of SNAP and food stamps on problems.
They're hurting because of inflation.
They're hurting because of Biden.
Here's the thing.
You want $10 billion for economic assistance for farmers?
Okay, fine.
Let's talk about that.
Make sure it goes to family farmers.
Well, we couldn't get a provision that would make sure it doesn't go to corporate versus family.
Okay.
You want to do that?
Then let's pay for it.
Well, I don't know.
I don't know if we can get a pay for it.
We just need to do it.
We just need to, it's an act of God that this whole circumstance of what we're dealing with right now, disasters and all that.
This is the problem.
There's always an excuse.
And one last point.
Every Republican who runs on fiscal responsibility will always say, Chip, it's the mandatory spending.
It's Social Security, it's Medicare, it's Medicaid, it's veterans, it's all the mandatory stuff.
To which I say, okay, I disagree with you.
Funding the bureaucracy that's weaponized against us is a problem, and we should focus on that and earn the trust of the American people to reform and deal with and manage getting health care prices down.
We have plans to do that.
But you're also lying.
Because all of you, two-thirds of the Republican Conference just voted for $200 billion of additional Social Security spending that will undermine Social Security solvency, as I said before, by almost up to a year, like six to nine months, because they're not serious about it.
That's the problem.
This bill is a reflection of all of that.
And look, Grok is going to do a better job than I am uncovering all the stuff because it can go through and do it with AI.
But my staff is pouring over it like we always do.
The problem with the bill is a reflection of a conference that always wants the easy solution, which is more money.
And until you limit the endless supply of money and the the printing of money and the willingness just to write a check, you'll never stop the corruption because no one has to make the choice.
Nobody has to say, well, wait a minute, I can't fund farmers without cutting this bullcrap program over here.
Instead, they just print the money to fund the farmers.
So,
what do we have to do?
I mean, if the American people, now we're just a few days away from Christmas, that's why this is being done at this time.
They know the American people are not paying attention.
But what do we have to do?
So I'll tell you what we did, the conservatives, Freedom Caucus, et cetera, trying to work in good faith, trying to build coalitions.
We have to figure out how to support President Trump in January.
How do we get 218 Republicans together to fight and win?
So we offered, against our personal choice, we offered yesterday, all right, we hate this bill.
This bill's not great.
But
can we at least do the following?
Under a rule, rule, can we say we need 72 hours to review the bill?
Everyone needs to withstand the scrutiny of 72 hours.
That's a sacrosanct provision we fought for in the speaker's debate with McCarthy two years ago.
And we've honored it this entire Congress, for better or worse.
One time it got violated.
We're saying
we're not going to agree to violate the 72-hour rule.
We've got to read the bill.
Number one.
Number two,
we want to have a vote on a pay-for.
And we drafted an amount.
I filed a bill last night as an offer, as a counter, as a pay-for.
That pay-for, Glenn, would be simply to return non-defense spending to pre-COVID 2019, 2020 levels.
That would save about $110 billion, and that would pay for all of this disaster supplemental spending.
That's putting aside the fact that it has crap in there that I hate.
I just wanted, can we just get that vote?
And the third thing we asked for was a ban on selling off the wall.
Don't sell the wall for five bucks at a pop.
Just put that in there.
That's all we asked for.
And we're trying to help the conference.
How can we get here?
Even though I hate all this garbage in here.
Wow.
And we couldn't get that.
We couldn't get that question.
You couldn't get that?
We couldn't get that.
And that's, look, and
I'm trying to figure out how to navigate where what we're talking about here,
what's being exposed, I want to be clear.
This isn't just about leadership and this is being exposed.
This is the conference.
This is the entire Republican conference.
And people need to understand that because everybody wants to go home and they want to be able to come back and campaign.
I brought you your farmer money.
But no one had to make a choice.
And no one had to go through and say, guys, why are we putting a provision in this bill that takes RFK Stadium in D.C.
on federal property and basically has federal dollars going to give the District of Columbia, which is corrupt, which has criminals on the street, which is stopping school choice, which has the DC 5 abortion stuff.
Go down the list of all the crap our nation's capital does.
And we literally just gave them RFK stadium property and money so that they can go try to get the commanders, who should still be called the Redskins, by the way,
a stadium.
Like, you can't make this stuff up, Glenn.
Like, why would we do that?
And so these are the things that we're saying,
you know,
we need to clean up the system so that that crap is no longer being done due, quote, by votes.
We need to narrow this down.
If I were doing this right now, I would put a CR on the floor to March, let President's team get in place, and then we go solve the rest of these problems.
That's what I would do.
And if you needed to include some minimal amount of disaster, so we had 10 people living in tents in North Carolina, put a $10 billion or some amount in there to hold for people to help them, put that on the floor, pass it, get to next year, and then let's get busy.
Congressman.
This is Liz Wheeler.
I'm sitting in for Stu today.
I have a question for you.
When is this vote expected to happen on this crap sandwich that you talk about?
Hey, so good to talk to you, Liz.
Hope you're well.
So
right now,
we're being told it could be tomorrow morning.
Again, this is a suspension of the rules.
So it could kind of happen at any time because we're not taking it through the rules committee, which is what we should do, right?
Normal order.
So it could be tomorrow morning.
That's the rough plan.
It could go earlier if the speaker wants to try to just move it through.
Could it happen today?
Theoretically.
It could happen today.
Now, we believe, as I said, we believe it should be 72 hours to review the bill.
And the reason that's important is what's happening right now.
It's the cleansing power of transparency and sunlight.
Everybody sees what's in it.
Now, do you want to vote for this thing?
Do you really want to vote?
for the RFK provision?
Do you really want to vote for things for Congress?
Do you really want to vote for these things that are against free speech and the stuff you were just talking about, Glenn, PAPA extension, all of these things that we disagree with?
Do you really want to vote for those things on top of $110 to $135 billion of additional deficit spending unpaid for?
Is that what you want to do?
And I think the longer it hangs out there, the more the American people can speak their mind, the more Elon can tweet, the more Glenn can talk about it, the more I can talk about it, and the more they go, then my colleagues have to go, well, this is a crap sandwich.
We've got to do something else.
So that is what I hope happens.
And
we are in a transition period where the new administration is coming in, where we've got more power through technology and our voice and the use of X,
you know, talk radio and what you do.
And
again, the Emperor has no clothes.
So those of us who have been in the trenches for a while, I'm like, thank God, like the Calvary's here.
We've been screaming, as you know, I've been on your program, like for years going, guys, here's what's in the bill.
But it's hard to get that out.
It's getting easier to get that out.
Yes, it is.
We're going to have to transition through this process.
This is hours, days, weeks, but it's going to happen.
A reckoning is occurring.
So you ask what people can do.
Call your members of Congress, tell them to oppose this bill.
If the worst thing that happens is that this bill has to die, that's a good thing.
If we have to deal with government closing, so be it.
If we have to wake up Saturday, if members have to be here, if we have to miss Christmas, so be it.
Our forefathers, George Washington, what were they doing on Christmas Day?
What were they doing in 1775 on Christmas Day?
They didn't, you know, what were the boys in Bastogne doing
in Christmas of 44?
So, like, do you think I want to be away from my family Christmas?
Of course not.
But we have a job to do.
We have a country to save.
So, look, if we need to be here Saturday, Sunday, Monday, we should be.
And that's my message to my colleagues.
Stop this Christmas tree legislating.
Stop Stop doing it purposely right before Christmas.
And this is exactly why the 72-hour rule exists, and it's why we
stood behind it.
You have been listening to the congressman from the great state of Texas, Chip Roy, who is going to run for Cornyn's seat if I have anything to do with it.
I'm just going to announce it.
He's announced to me, not really, but he's going to be the guy who runs against Cornyn, and he will kick Cornyn's ass as it should be in Texas.
But anyway, Chip, who didn't make any of those announcements or allude to any of that in even private phone calls, thanks for being on the program.
Glenn, in all seriousness, Merry Christmas.
And I do mean it, irrespective of Max Lucato.
But say hi to Max.
This is the season of the birth of our Lord and Savior.
And we are so eternally blessed to be Americans and
to have that blessing of God's salvation that he gave us.
And, you know, the sun is rising, and we've got to just stand on the wall.
We've got to do our part.
So all of your listeners and everything, thankful what you do and
let's keep fighting.
Thanks a lot.
I appreciate it, Chip.
And it'll be great when you run for Cornyn seat and win.
Chip Roy from the great state of Texas.
All right, let me
take it.
He hates that.
No, no, no, no.
Charlie Sheen is an icon of decadence.
I lit the fuse and my life turns into everything it wasn't supposed to be.
He's going the distance.
He was the highest paid TV star of all time.
When it started to change, it was queer.
He kept saying, no, no, no, I'm in the hospital now, but next week I'll be ready for the show.
Now, Charlie's sober.
He's going to tell you the truth.
How do I present this with any class?
I think we're past that, Charlie.
We're past that, yeah.
Somebody call action.
Aka Charlie Sheen, only on Netflix, September 10th.
