Speaker 2 Got no room to compromise.
Speaker 2 We gotta stand together, it's the corner survived
Speaker 2 stand up straight and hold the line.
Speaker 2 It's a new day of time to rise.
Speaker 2 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenback program.
Speaker 3 President of the United States, my fellow Jamaicans, our nation is in crisis.
Speaker 3 The Decepticon variant Hobo 19 is still killing fat people.
Speaker 3 Inflation is destroying our fart jars and now that Ukraine is being
Speaker 3 sexually raped. That is why I've asked Congress to order a full-scale attack on Joe Rogan.
Speaker 3
Not Joe Rogan, the Russian guy. The guy with the shirt.
Pooty tang, man. He's a bad dude.
Speaker 3
We gotta come together, man. Get this guy.
He's got our cranes. He's got all the cranes.
We need him for the
Speaker 3 better build back. The build back, bit of better, the better, the bit of better,
Speaker 3
the bit of better buildback, better plan, man. You say it three times fast, pal.
You say it.
Speaker 2 God
Speaker 2 piece of shit. Guy over here.
Speaker 3 Anyway, let's start the show.
Speaker 2
Let's start the show, shall we? Let me tell you about Relief Factor. John wrote in recently about his experience with Relief Factor.
He said, I used Relief Factor for about six months now.
Speaker 2
I was really skeptical at first. I put off trying it until my brother just said, here, get out of pain and loaned a few days worth of his Relief Factor.
I was shocked.
Speaker 2 I don't know if it helps everyone, but it sure helps me.
Speaker 2 John, thank you for writing in and thank your brother for sharing some of his Relief Factor created by doctors to help your body reduce inflammation, the major source of most pain.
Speaker 2 It has four key ingredients that each work together with your body as it fights against the effects of aging, exercise, and everyday living. I take Relief Factor every single day.
Speaker 2 It has made an enormous impact on my life.
Speaker 2 The three-week quick start is available now for you at $19.95.
Speaker 2
It's a buck a day. It's a trial pack.
Hundreds of thousands of people have ordered Relief Factor. 70% of them go on to order more after the three-week trial pack.
Speaker 2
If it's not working for you, it probably won't after three weeks. But I'm telling you, it's made a huge difference in my life.
800 for Relief, 1-800-4 Relief, or ReliefFactor.com.
Speaker 2
Go there now, ReliefFactor.com, 800, the number 4 Relief. Relief Factor.
Feel the difference.
Speaker 2 All right, you know,
Speaker 2
we got a lot to talk about. I'm going to talk a little bit about the economy.
I want to talk about the Clinton, the latest Clinton scandal. But I just have to start with this
Speaker 2 amazing quote from Prime Minister of Canada, Trudeau.
Speaker 2 He was talking about the protesters this weekend, and he said, and I quote, they don't believe in science. They're often misogynistic, often racist.
Speaker 2 They take up space.
Speaker 2 And with that, we have to make a choice in terms:
Speaker 2 do we tolerate these people?
Speaker 2 Wait, what?
Speaker 2 I've heard this before.
Speaker 2 You know, just in the 1920s, I think, when
Speaker 2 they were thinking about
Speaker 2 gas chambers, chambers, etc., etc.
Speaker 2 Here's George Bernard Shaw.
Speaker 4 I don't want to punish anybody,
Speaker 5 but there are an extraordinary number of people whom I want to kill. I think it would be a good thing
Speaker 4 to
Speaker 5 make everybody come before a properly appointed board,
Speaker 5 just as he might come before the income tax commissioners, and say every five years or every seven years, just put him there and say, Sir or madam, now will you be kind enough to justify your existence?
Speaker 5 If you're not producing as much as you consume, or perhaps a little more, then clearly
Speaker 5 we cannot use the big organization of our society for the purpose of keeping you alive, because your life does not benefit us and it can't be of very much use to yourself.
Speaker 2 Incredible.
Speaker 2
That's George Bernard Shaw. He's the guy that they credited with the idea, the first idea of the gas chambers that later happened in Nazi Germany.
He was serious about it. He was a progressive.
Speaker 2 He was a friend of Margaret Sanger.
Speaker 2 Take these people seriously.
Speaker 2
It's the same kind of people and the same kind of thinking. And every day that goes by, it becomes more and more clear.
They'll do anything.
Speaker 2 I don't know if you saw the news, hope you did, about Clinton and the Durham report. Another step has been taken in the Durham report.
Speaker 2 They have already charged the Clinton campaign subcontractor, DeChenko, for allegedly lying about the sourcing behind the so-called steel dossier that he helped compile.
Speaker 2 So we know now, we've known this for a while, press really hasn't said anything about it, but the steel dossier came from the Clinton campaign. We know that now.
Speaker 2 Michael Sussman, the former law partner of the Clinton campaign, the general counsel, Mark Elias, they were indicted in September for lying about the work that they did for the Clinton campaign on linking Trump to a Russian bank.
Speaker 2 Now we have more information on this.
Speaker 2 Rodney Jaffe,
Speaker 2 he is the guy that is identified in the filings from Durham as tech executive number one.
Speaker 2 In the sussman indictment and the latest filing,
Speaker 2 it shows that tech executive number one exploited proprietary and perhaps classified data provided by DARPA to further their own political attacks.
Speaker 2 Now, this latest filing on Joffee's activity stating Joffe asked researchers to mine internet data to establish an inference and narrative tying then candidate Donald Trump to Russia.
Speaker 2 It was later confirmed that two former DARPA employees have given grand jury testimony, so it appears that Durham is following this track.
Speaker 2 So Durham has now divulged to an extent that contractors and tech experts,
Speaker 2 the same people involved in the Alpha Bank hoax, do you remember the Alpha Bank hoax? That's when they said he has servers. Hillary Clinton was the one who came out and revealed this.
Speaker 2
They've just told us that Donald Trump has a link to an Alpha Bank in Russia, and they talk to each other at night. That's all false.
We know that.
Speaker 2 Now we find out that those same people spied on the president when he was running for president, and even worse,
Speaker 2 they used and exploited their internet connections and hacked in to the executive office of the president of the United States.
Speaker 2 Donald Trump said this weekend, this is worse than
Speaker 2 Watergate. He is absolutely right.
Speaker 2 What happened in Watergate? Watergate was President Nixon using former spies, et cetera, et cetera, and then also using some of the departments in, does any of this sound familiar?
Speaker 2 Like the FBI and the CIA, to spy on the DNC.
Speaker 2 And they broke into the Watergate Hotel because they were looking for documents on, you know, What are they going to do?
Speaker 2
How many ads are they going to place or whatever they thought they were going to find. It was worthless.
It was worthless and really stupid because Nixon was going to win anyway.
Speaker 2 So the first term of Nixon went exactly like the first term of Donald Trump,
Speaker 2 where
Speaker 2 people were making accusations and you couldn't get to the bottom of it. Except in Donald Trump's case, they did impeach him.
Speaker 2 They didn't remove him. Thank God now that we know the truth.
Speaker 2
And they got away with it. It was in Nixon's second term that he was caught.
And if Trump had won a second
Speaker 2 term, and see if this doesn't make sense now on why they had to get him out of office,
Speaker 2 if he won a second term, all these people would be in jail. This would have happened
Speaker 2
real fast. But now you have the media covering this.
Where is the media? Do you remember when Donald Trump was running and he was on 60 Minutes with Leslie Stahl?
Speaker 2 And listen to the lecture she gave him when he said, look, the evidence is there. They were spying on me.
Speaker 2 Listen.
Speaker 6 The biggest scandal was when they spied on my campaign. They spied on my campaign.
Speaker 7 There's no real evidence of that.
Speaker 6
Of course there is. It's all over the place.
Leslie, they spied on my campaign and they got caught.
Speaker 7 Can I say something? You know, this is 60 minutes and we can't put on things we can't verify.
Speaker 6 We can't put it on because it's bad for Biden.
Speaker 7 We can't put on things we can't verify.
Speaker 6 Leslie, they spied on my campaign.
Speaker 7 Well, we can't verify them.
Speaker 2 They can't totally verify them. No.
Speaker 6
It's been, just go down and get the papers. They spied on my campaign, they got caught.
No. And then they went much further than that, and they got caught.
And you will see that, Leslie.
Speaker 6 And you know that, but you just don't want to put it on the airport.
Speaker 7 As a matter of fact, I don't know that.
Speaker 2 Well, Leslie, you know it now.
Speaker 2 You know it now.
Speaker 2 So are you going to be issuing an apology? And will 60 Minutes be running this story in the upcoming 60 Minutes? I don't really care because I don't think anybody watches 60 Minutes anymore.
Speaker 2
You're completely irrelevant. You used to stand for something, but you don't anymore.
And we all understand that. And that's why nobody is going to cable news or to traditional news.
Speaker 2 Just not going there.
Speaker 2
We know who you are. We know now.
I mean,
Speaker 2 if Donald Trump, if this isn't a, again,
Speaker 2 total vindication of Donald Trump,
Speaker 2
there was no alpha bank. That was Hillary Clinton.
They were spying on them. It was Hillary Clinton.
Speaker 2 And even worse than what Donald Trump said there, spying on my campaign, they were spying and broke into the executive branch, the White House,
Speaker 2 and they got into their internet and got into their mail and everything else. Are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 This is,
Speaker 2 this should be
Speaker 2 life in prison.
Speaker 2 if you are as a candidate
Speaker 2 you and all those involved should go to prison you become a banana republic we are a banana republic let's be honest about it
Speaker 2 we have a media that is in bed with the federal government and we have tech executives and we have big tech in bed also with the federal government and they're all protecting their ass
Speaker 2 We have the CIA and the FBI in bed with the left.
Speaker 2 You know this.
Speaker 2 You know this because of what's happening with the truckers.
Speaker 2 Has anybody noticed what they're saying now about the truckers? Not in Canada, but the truckers here and anyone here who gave money to the truckers in Canada?
Speaker 2 You got to be stopped.
Speaker 2 They are now
Speaker 2 spying on people.
Speaker 2 I'm sorry,
Speaker 2 they're just watching the internet.
Speaker 2 Now, it's weird that they're watching the internet for people who are peacefully gathering with trucks, but they just couldn't watch the internet and
Speaker 2 find out somebody was buying gasoline and matches and we're going to burn cities to the ground.
Speaker 2 Or, hey, let's meet at Macy's in Harold Square and let's let's go to Macy's and just take all of the stuff out of Macy's let's loot it they couldn't stop that
Speaker 2 you know what this government has become
Speaker 2 it is the Stasi
Speaker 2 it is
Speaker 2 it is the KGB
Speaker 2 it's the SS
Speaker 2 at best it's J. Edgar Hoover
Speaker 2 and you remember how the left hated J. Edgar Hoover?
Speaker 2 J. Edgar Hoover was spying on everybody.
Speaker 2 Everybody who was anybody in America, he had a dossier on, and he would illegally wiretap, he would listen.
Speaker 2 What they did to Martin Luther King as the FBI,
Speaker 2 they did that covertly and denied it.
Speaker 2 They are doing it openly now, and nobody seems to care.
Speaker 2 Is anyone going to care?
Speaker 2
Is anyone even going to report it in the mainstream media? Guys, you're running out of time. If you don't change your ways right now, you are done.
You're on the wrong side of history.
Speaker 2 If you can't admit
Speaker 2 that Hillary Clinton was spying her campaign and broke all kinds of laws,
Speaker 2 lied, used you, and I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, mainstream media, used you.
Speaker 2 Now, if it really was usury,
Speaker 2 I don't know, when somebody uses me and destroys my reputation, I get very upset.
Speaker 2
You know, when I don't get upset is when I was part of it and I knew. And that's that's when I go quiet.
At least that's when I would go quiet had I done something like the press did.
Speaker 2 More in 60 seconds?
Speaker 2 American Financing NMLS 182334, www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org.
Speaker 2 If you're a homeowner and you haven't refinanced your mortgage yet, it's time to ask yourself why interest rates are going up.
Speaker 2 Please listen in about 15 minutes. I'm going to tell you what's going on with the banks and the stock market and explain to you really clearly.
Speaker 2 I'm going to ask you a few questions and then explain the only thing that could explain what's going on.
Speaker 2 And then I'm going to play some people from BlackRock that will tell you in their own voice
Speaker 2
what's coming. What's coming.
You need to batten down the hatches right now. Take time today and give American Financing a call.
They're America's home for home loans.
Speaker 2
A free review of your finances could lead to saving a ton of money. Just call them.
You could skip up to two mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days. It's American Financing, 800-906-2440.
Speaker 2
800-906-2440. Or go online now, AmericanFinancing.net.
10 seconds, station ID.
Speaker 2 I'm going to find time today to tell you about what happened on Friday. It was been a busy weekend for me.
Speaker 2 On Friday, I flew out to Florida to speak at the CPI conference, and a lot of the Freedom Caucus was there. These are the guys who are really working hard and really understand
Speaker 2 what America is up against.
Speaker 2 I have to tell you,
Speaker 2 Mark Meadows, pray for Mark Meadows, man. He is fighting the FBI right now,
Speaker 2 and it's
Speaker 2
they're just brutal. The Justice Department is completely out of control, completely out of control.
But I talked to him about ESG, and I have some things to report on that.
Speaker 2 First, let me give you this: there is an anti-ESG bill in Kansas that is very, very strong, and it's going to target all aspects of ESG. It now has 24 co-sponsors.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 because of the composition of the House, it needs 63 votes to pass, but it already has 25 people, one sponsor, and 24 co-sponsors. So it's looking really, really good.
Speaker 2 I got a message from the representative that
Speaker 2
is the main guy, Representative Michael Murphy. He said, I filed the bill yesterday with 24 co-sponsors.
I feel good about the chances, but I'm asking for some help.
Speaker 2 When you mentioned it on the other day on the radio, we got a tremendous response. Glenn, could you please mention HB 2664
Speaker 2 and encourage all people that live in Kansas to email or call their representative in House leadership? The public support will certainly help move it forward. We really need
Speaker 2 the help from the public. So if you're in Kansas, the House bill is 2664.
Speaker 2 It's a good bill
Speaker 2 that's standing up to the banks and saying you can't do this in Kansas. No ESG here in Kansas.
Speaker 2 I'm up here at the ranch in Idaho because tomorrow I'm meeting with House and Senate leadership and the governor in private meetings. A lot of people have
Speaker 2 written this weekend and said, man, can I come and listen to you? No, they're just private meetings of just ESG talk. And
Speaker 2 there's a lot of people here in Idaho that are up on it and they know and most of them are GOP members, but there are some squishy GOP members who today will remain unnamed
Speaker 2 that
Speaker 2 I don't think they get it.
Speaker 2 And, you know, it's one thing to not get it, and it's another thing to know really what it is and then not do anything about it. And I really think this needs to be a litmus, the litmus test.
Speaker 2 If the people that you are voting for don't just know it, but know it really well and are actively fighting against it right now,
Speaker 2 they shouldn't be in office and you should let them know. If you're not fighting against ESG, the E, the S, and the G, all of them, and trying to stop it in our state, I can't vote for you.
Speaker 2 Same with washington where do you stand it's time they make a stand because we're beginning to
Speaker 2 and just beginning
Speaker 2 the glenn back program
Speaker 2 so janet wrote in about her dog's experience with rough greens she said our little rescue girl loves rough greens i fill her kibble bowl and if there's no rough greens in it she sniffs and then goes to the cupboard where the rough greens is kept and just waits I have to add it.
Speaker 2
And then and only then she eats. Smart girl.
She has a lot more energy. She's curious, more curious now than she's been before.
She's more playful as well.
Speaker 2
And her allergies seem to be annoying her less. Thank you so much for recommending Rough Greens, Glenn.
Thank you, Janet, for writing in and giving it a shot. Rough Greens, not a dog food.
Speaker 2 It's a supplement that you sprinkle on the dog's food. Dogs love it because it tastes amazing, and they get all the vitamins and minerals and probiotics that they need.
Speaker 2
Right now, you can get a free bag of Rough Greens just for your dog to try out. Roughgreens, R-U-F-F, greens.com/slash Beck.

Speaker 2 So, I'm going to read to you something here that
Speaker 2 is,
Speaker 2 you know, stock market talk, and I understand very little of it. But luckily, I have great researchers and great
Speaker 2 friends that I reach out to that do know all of this stuff. So, let me just give you a couple of paragraphs of what I read over the weekend, and then I'll give you the explanation that I
Speaker 2 was taught by all of my very smart friends.
Speaker 2 On Friday,
Speaker 2 you might have noticed something odd was happening in the market.
Speaker 2 While stocks were tumbling, pushing most tech names to a deep bear market amid the worst turmoil for risk assets in a year, inflows into stocks, both institutional and retail, have been soaring.
Speaker 2 According to the Bank of America, cumulative equity flows year to date in 2021 have hit a record $153 billion, exceeding the pace of early 2021.
Speaker 2 Now,
Speaker 2 what they're talking about here is
Speaker 2 the global stock market
Speaker 2 last,
Speaker 2
let's see here. Yes, this last week logged in $46 billion worth of new cash.
This is the fourth largest weekly inflow into the global stock market on record.
Speaker 2 When you look at the whole thing over time,
Speaker 2 since January 1st, 2019, three years ago,
Speaker 2 cash has seen $1.89
Speaker 2 trillion worth of inflows. Bonds have seen, you know, stocks and bonds,
Speaker 2 $1.8 trillion worth. Equities,
Speaker 2 $632 billion. Okay.
Speaker 2 What does all of this mean?
Speaker 2 If you look at the global stock market,
Speaker 2 just this year, annualized at this rate, which is $5.7 billion of new money coming into the stock market every day, We're going to add $1.322 trillion
Speaker 2 of new money into the stock market this year.
Speaker 2 So you know, 2021
Speaker 2 logged in more money coming into the stock market than the prior 25 years combined.
Speaker 2 And this year is on pace to exceed that number by 45%.
Speaker 2 Just those two numbers should make you say, wait a minute, wait a minute, what? That doesn't sound good. Let me repeat.
Speaker 2 Last year, 2021,
Speaker 2 there was more money flowing into the stock market, $913 billion, almost a trillion dollars, more than the prior 25 years combined.
Speaker 2 Where's this money coming from? And this year, we're going to be 45%
Speaker 2 higher than that.
Speaker 2 Again, where's this money coming from?
Speaker 2
So that's what I asked my friends. I thought I knew the answer, and I did, but they gave me really much more scary information.
You want it? I mean, it is Monday. Sucks already because it's Monday.
Speaker 2 What do you say? We just throw this log on the fire.
Speaker 2 Investors have not had more access to low-interest money than they do right now.
Speaker 2 Investor debt versus projected gains,
Speaker 2 listen to this, they're taking on, they're borrowing this money and they're betting on the future.
Speaker 2 They currently need
Speaker 2 an 81% annualized stock return to make a profit.
Speaker 2 So you know the average of 23%
Speaker 2 is what's usual since 1980. So if stocks don't return with 81% year-over-year return, the investors lose.
Speaker 2 We have never, ever had 81% annualized return. The best year was 2020 when we had a 55%
Speaker 2 annualized return.
Speaker 2 So what's happening?
Speaker 2
Well, I will tell you that we, as we've shown you, the Fed is lending trillions of dollars to the banks. They're just giving them, literally, trillions of dollars to the banks.
So
Speaker 2 what are they doing with it? They're giving it to places like, you know, Goldman Sachs, or in this case, places like Blackwater. And Blackwater is investing.
Speaker 2 But remember,
Speaker 2 remember,
Speaker 2 government and the central banks are now on the hook for the stock market returns because they now are responsible for your pension and your retirement funds.
Speaker 2 98%
Speaker 2
of the federally insured pensions have U.S. stock market exposure.
So all of these big investors are getting free money from the Fed. They're going in, they're dumping it in.
Inflows to U.S.
Speaker 2 stocks increased 270%
Speaker 2 from March 2020 to January 2022.
Speaker 2 Now, how's that happening during a global pandemic? Why are people suddenly the average person who probably lost their job? Why are they dumping money into the stock market?
Speaker 2
How does the stock market go up when the supply chain is disrupted, when everything is closed. We should have had a massive disruption in the stock market, but we didn't.
Why?
Speaker 2 Because the Fed is giving funny money to everybody.
Speaker 2 The massive IRA pension market, which the government is on the hook for, is worth over $75 trillion.
Speaker 2 And most of that money, 65%,
Speaker 2 is in the stock market.
Speaker 2 If you think that
Speaker 2 this is going to end well for your pension,
Speaker 2 you're mistaken.
Speaker 2 The stock market is being driven right now by the Fed.
Speaker 2 The Fed is buying stocks themselves.
Speaker 2 And the government is on the hook. And need I remind you, the government is you.
Speaker 2 People are getting rich on your back,
Speaker 2 and it ain't you.
Speaker 2 This is the biggest theft in American history, in world history.
Speaker 2 The transfer of your money
Speaker 2 and the debt now that your children... Remember,
Speaker 2 when they give away and print trillions of dollars and give it to investors because they're too big to fail,
Speaker 2 your children are going to be paying for that debt
Speaker 2 and those dollars are not going to be around
Speaker 2 they have an unlimited currency policy right now
Speaker 2 so
Speaker 2 what happens when the stock market takes a downturn and it will
Speaker 2 all of that money will be lost and all of the banks and the and the jp morgans and the
Speaker 2 you know Goldman Sachs the Black Rocks the Blackwater the people who are too big to fail,
Speaker 2 they're going to be failing. And who's going to bail them out this time?
Speaker 2
You will, in a form of a new currency. That's what's coming.
And I really urge you to find out what's right for you to protect yourself.
Speaker 2 You know, I
Speaker 2 sent some Instagram pictures out this weekend, yesterday,
Speaker 2 on Saturday, I was at Heritage Auctions in Dallas. They had a big Lincoln sale, Abraham Lincoln sale, and some of the stuff that has never come up for auction before.
Speaker 2 And I will tell you, I have a renewed sense. I told my wife, I said, look, I don't think our money, you know, money is not going to save you.
Speaker 2 And I don't know what's coming, but you just listen the way they're talking about the truckers.
Speaker 2 You see what's happened with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and the press isn't going to even cover that.
Speaker 2 You see how they're talking about people as anti-government who are just, I'm not anti-government. I'm pro-constitutional government.
Speaker 2 I'm anti-olig.
Speaker 2 And you see the way everything is being set up, and they're getting more and more vicious.
Speaker 2
These These people will destroy America, but I want you to know, it's going to be a race to the finish line. If there is any violence, we lose.
As you see, and you know, any violence, we lose.
Speaker 2 And don't be surprised if it's not leftist violence.
Speaker 2
But any violence, we lose. And we're on a we're on a racetrack.
They're not ready yet. Otherwise, they would have snapped the trap.
They're not ready yet.
Speaker 2 ESG has to be really chugging along.
Speaker 2 They have to have all of the ducks in a row, and they have to have an economic collapse to be able to do it. I think they need war as well.
Speaker 2 I could be wrong, but boy, oh boy, does it seem like our government is just on the war path?
Speaker 2 We got a Russia, Wednesday.
Speaker 2
Make sure you write it down. It's going to happen at 8 o'clock.
Pat, have you ever seen our government give such specific details on how this war is going to happen on now.
Speaker 2 They're saying on Wednesday, Wednesday they're going in. No,
Speaker 2 I don't think so.
Speaker 2 And the Ukraine, the Ukrainians don't think it's going to happen at all.
Speaker 2 The Ukrainian president said, Joe Biden, could you please come over or at least send your intel people? We'd like to see what you've seen because we don't have any of that intel. Yeah.
Speaker 2 Yeah. They say that Russia does this all the time.
Speaker 2 And then they and then they back off and then they come back and threaten again and then they back off. So Ukrainians are pretty used to this and they don't think this is going to come to anything.
Speaker 2 Germany announced over the weekend that they announced that Europe is on the verge of war. Europe
Speaker 2 is on the verge of war.
Speaker 2
You go into war in Europe. You're in World War III.
Everybody makes a move. The world is up for grabs.
And everything changes overnight.
Speaker 2 I will tell you,
Speaker 2 I am renewing my commitment. Tanya and I
Speaker 2 just, we took money.
Speaker 2 The kids are not going to college. I'll tell you that.
Speaker 2 But we took our money and bought
Speaker 2 really important pieces of history this weekend on Abraham Lincoln. And I really truly believe that
Speaker 2 this cannot just,
Speaker 2
A, it can't just sit in a vault. It needs to be seen.
And I'm working on some things for this summer that I hope be able to do.
Speaker 2
But it needs to be seen all over the country. It can't just be in one place.
We got to see it all over the country. But also, we need to preserve these things.
Speaker 2 And if you have things that are important to American history, if you can keep it safe, and I mean put it in a vacuum bag and seal it, and at some point, if things get dicey, bury it and don't tell anybody.
Speaker 2
Because I really, truly believe these people hate America so much. They'll destroy all of our history.
And we have to preserve it.
Speaker 2 I said to Tanya, she said, you want to do what? And
Speaker 2
I explained because she saw the prices. And I said, yeah, but listen.
And I talked to her about where I think we are.
Speaker 2 And if we lose this history, we have no way of proving it. We have no way.
Speaker 2 You know, they're already saying, did you see what happened with Elon Musk this last week? They were talking about how
Speaker 2
one of his rogue rockets is going to crash into the moon. Yeah.
All week, they talked about that.
Speaker 2 It wasn't an Elon Musk rocket.
Speaker 2
I guess you should follow the science. Chinese.
Now, Pat, let me ask you, is that a mistake
Speaker 2 or was that intentional that they're blaming it on Elon Musk instead of China? My guess is intentional.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 And I couldn't tell you one way or another. I know what I believe just from past action, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 Button up, batten down the hatches, and prepare for impact because this time we're not coming down in the trees. Back in just a second.
Speaker 2 Our sponsor this half hour is Real Estate Agents I Trust.
Speaker 2
I like solutions to problems, and I had a problem. I've had it my whole life.
I mean, I was in radio, so I moved around an awful lot, and I've never sold a house and made a profit or even broken even.
Speaker 2 I always lose on houses, usually because I lose my job when everything goes to hell in a handbasket economically. So
Speaker 2
I started realestateagentsitrust.com because I don't know how to pick a good real estate agent. I didn't know.
You know, you just ask people, do you know of a good real estate agent?
Speaker 2 You know, you can get anybody. Realestateagents I trust.com is the company I started and it's a free service to you.
Speaker 2 After working with the 500 best real estate agents in the country, according to the Wall Street Journal, I learned a lot. I learned that there is a system and there are markers that you can look for.
Speaker 2 So we developed this system to go out and find those people. They don't work for us.
Speaker 2 We just recommend the best ones to you, the ones that we feel have all those markets and the track record that's going to make you a very happy customer when you're buying or selling a house or doing both.
Speaker 2 Realestateagentsitrust.com. We'll find the right person for you, whether you're buying
Speaker 2 locally and selling locally or if you're selling and moving across the country.

Speaker 2 The key was.
Speaker 2
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. So I missed the Super Bowl.
What a surprise. I'm not real sad about it.
Speaker 2 I'm bummed I wasn't with my family and friends who were watching it at home.
Speaker 2 But,
Speaker 2 you know,
Speaker 2 I did see the rap
Speaker 2 halftime show, which was
Speaker 2 terrific.
Speaker 2 Oh,
Speaker 2
gosh, that was terrific. And, you know, and I saw a clip of The Rock dressed as a cranberry.
I thought that was
Speaker 2 just terrific as well at the very beginning.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2
Yeah. Really good.
Really, really good. So.
Speaker 2 So. Yeah.
Speaker 2 And of course, I'm not for either team in California. So
Speaker 2 mainly because of California. So one of them was from Cincinnati, Ohio, though.
Speaker 2
Oh, I thought they were both from the end. No, then I was for Cincinnati.
Okay, yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 Got no room to compromise.
Speaker 2 We gotta stand together, it's the corner survived.
Speaker 2 Stand up straight and hold the line.
Speaker 2 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenbeck program.
Speaker 2 Hello, America, and welcome to the Glenbeck program.
Speaker 2 I saw the craziest thing I've seen on cable news. And, you know, come on.
Speaker 2 I'm in the same universe, although I don't think it's the universe we all started in, but I'm in the same parallel universe that you're in right now. And I know we've seen crazy things,
Speaker 2 but I actually saw a reporter on CNN
Speaker 2
with the truckers behind her on this quiet street. Nothing was going on.
There wasn't a peep. You could hear the birds chirping.
Speaker 2 And she actually said, I'm here at the truckers for so-called freedom rally and it might look peaceful behind me
Speaker 2 but there's been a few incidences that have happened here and I thought oh my gosh I've seen this before except in the exact opposite when the entire city was on fire and
Speaker 2 things being blown up and the reporters standing there going
Speaker 2 Yes, I know there's things on fire behind me. Yes, that is the whole city block on fire, but it's mostly peaceful.
Speaker 2 How do they expect us to believe a word they say?
Speaker 2
Time to batten down the hatches, gang. Take care of your financial health right now.
Stop wasting money on those high interest rates. If you have credit cards, pay them off.
Speaker 2 And if you're like, I can't, I can barely keep ahead of it.
Speaker 2 Then please, if you have a mortgage, please call American Financing and see if they can do a consolidation loan and pay those things off and get the lower rate.
Speaker 2 Things are going to get dicey really fast. Somebody told me the other day, how did the guy go, how did he go bankrupt? The answer.
Speaker 2
Took a long time. And then all of a sudden, that's the situation we're in.
This has taken a long time to get here, but the last phase is going to happen overnight. Call American Financing today.
Speaker 2
A loan with them could literally change everything for you. You could skip up to two mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days.

Speaker 2
BJ Dichter, he is a spokesperson for the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy. I had him on a couple of weeks ago when this all started.
I wanted to find out about who they were and what was going on.
Speaker 2 Because of that, Esquire Magazine said that
Speaker 2
I was responsible for the American support. Support.
Well, you got me there. I am all-powerful.
And you can't imagine how much power we really have. It's frightening, isn't it? BJ is on with us again.
Speaker 2 BJ, I've been watching you guys closely.
Speaker 2 If any of the stuff that was true, that the media was saying that you're violent, extremist, and anti-government,
Speaker 2 man, you guys are the worst at it because I'm not seeing anything.
Speaker 4 Yeah, you know, the worst thing to bring to any sort of insurrection are bounty castles and families. You know, how threatening can that be, right?
Speaker 2
Yeah, well, that bouncy count, that bouncy castle. I mean, when you see that, you're like, oh, well, there's the hate.
There's the hate.
Speaker 4 Exactly.
Speaker 2 So tell me about.
Speaker 4 Sorry, go ahead.
Speaker 2
No, no, no, please. I'm sorry.
I'm on a real bad delay myself today. I'm up in the mountains of Idaho.
Speaker 2 Tell me about what happened this weekend,
Speaker 2 what what Trudeau did. Give me a summary of the weekend.
Speaker 4 Well, let's start first with the week. Wednesday was probably the most contentious day that we were a little bit worried because all week the government, the local government, had been signaling
Speaker 4
that they're going to impose some scary action. They were going to seize vehicles.
They went to court.
Speaker 4 They had an injunction, which the judge struck down most of the requests with the exception of one. And yet, somehow they spun it into a win for the government.
Speaker 4 Then they were going to raid us, which they didn't do. They took some fuel.
Speaker 4 They were going to raid us the second night. They ended up taking firewood from truckers who were just trying to keep warm in the cold.
Speaker 4 And after Wednesday night, I mean, like I was watching this, and it's terrible for me to say this, but when they took the
Speaker 4 fuel that we were carrying to the drivers, I started laughing. And I thought, what a nightmare of a PR disaster the government, the local government has just created for themselves.
Speaker 4
They're stealing fuel from people who want to keep their families warm. Okay, I'm sure that's not going to work in their favor.
And it didn't.
Speaker 4 And after Wednesday night, we got word from some people in policing on Thursday that all the police agencies that had been brought from other parts of the province, Peel Region, Toronto, whatever, those police chiefs had had enough.
Speaker 4 And they said, there's nothing happening here these people are peaceful and quite frankly we don't want to risk any law lawsuits to our police force so we're leaving and going back home so they went now was that reported anywhere
Speaker 4 with us
Speaker 2 was that reported anywhere i mean are the people of canada who are not looking at alternative media are they getting any of this news
Speaker 4 oh no no but uh they're getting it if they're following alternative media like yourself, post-millennial, national telegraph, whatever. Then they're going to get it.
Speaker 4 But what's interesting is because we've shut out the mainstream media, meaning
Speaker 4 we barred them from our press conferences, because we know it would just be calling us names and building up these narratives. We've had these amazing press conferences that went two or three hours.
Speaker 4 And the people from the post-millennial were chuckling with me. They told me it was fantastic to see that the mainstream media had to follow our feed to get the content of the press release.
Speaker 4 It was vindicating for that.
Speaker 2 That's great.
Speaker 4 Yeah.
Speaker 2 So, BJ,
Speaker 2 you know, I've been very nervous because I don't know you guys.
Speaker 2 I know you from this conversation, the conversation we had, and you sound very reasonable. And what I've seen, you know, from what I can see,
Speaker 2
seems like this are just good, rational human beings who have said, no more. They're not anti-government.
They're none of that.
Speaker 2 And I've been very concerned because a lot of people will get into these protests and they are not disciplined.
Speaker 2 I noticed that you had, I think you called them block captains, which is exactly what Martin Luther King called his captains. Is there any modeling behind the
Speaker 2 trucker freedom rally
Speaker 2 that
Speaker 2 pulls pulls its inspiration from martin luther king
Speaker 4 uh i think we're all inspired by leaders like uh dr king and others throughout history that's where this really started from
Speaker 4 uh and that was the whole idea of we don't this is going to be peaceful for a couple of reasons a
Speaker 4 we don't condone violence we're all part of a very regulated industry where we're used to following rules from the government ones that we agree with and disagree with.
Speaker 4 But the second thing is because there's so many people, there's no need to ever get violent because there's just tens of thousands of people here who just want their freedom back.
Speaker 4 And it's not like we're going in like, I don't know, you can think of some of the other three-letter activist organizations that are making a demand for change.
Speaker 4
They want money or whatever it's going to be. We just want a return back to normal.
We just want our natural freedoms granted back to us. That's it.
Speaker 4
We're not seeking any new dramatic or drastic change. We just want some normalcy.
That's all.
Speaker 2 It's interesting that Trudeau and even Biden, I've got to read this from Trudeau word for word. This morning I had a direct call with President Biden to talk about our shared challenges at the border.
Speaker 2 I updated him on the situation, particularly in Windsor. We discussed the American and indeed global influences on the protest.
Speaker 2 We talked about the U.S.-based flooding of the 911 phone lines in Ottawa, the presence of U.S. citizens in the blockade, and the impact of foreign money to fund this illegal activity.
Speaker 2 We both agreed that for the security of the people and the economy, these blockades cannot continue. So make no mistake, the border cannot and will not stay closed.
Speaker 2 That's a threat.
Speaker 4
It is, but it's interesting. I don't know who the threat is at because we have no involvement in any blockades.
Our movement was just to come to Ottawa and to park here until we get our voices heard.
Speaker 4 Now that's inspired people all over the world to start their own convoys. And it started with Alberta, that blockade on the Montana border, and then the Windsor border.
Speaker 4
We don't have anything to do with it. I mean, we support their right to protest.
And we don't understand why the government keeps doubling down on this self-inflicted wound.
Speaker 4 Like when the premier of our equivalent of the governor,
Speaker 4 Doug Ford, decided he was going to go to court to try to freeze all our assets
Speaker 4
because of Windsor. We have nothing to do with Windsor and that's what we're going to be arguing in court.
And instead of attacking good, hardworking,
Speaker 4 blue-collar people that are the backbone of the economy, maybe you should just have called Justin and said, hey, Justin, maybe it's time we just dropped these mandates and passports and all of this ends.
Speaker 4
It's so easy. It's such a simple win for them.
But I also think you're seeing the signs of the government starting to, I don't want to say crack, but reverse course. When Justin Trudeau
Speaker 4 gave his last press conference, he did exactly what we needed him to say, at least I thought, from a communication standpoint.
Speaker 4 Our policies have have saved millions of people.
Speaker 4 And that tells me, because I do know there are
Speaker 4
liberal MPs that are ready to throw Justin Trudeau under the bus and are not happy right now. That tells me that they're now exploring going in the opposite direction.
It will take a couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 It will take a couple of press conferences. They need to build a narrative where they can claim victory, having had protected all of us.
Speaker 4 But I think we're at the tail end of of this and we're going in the direction of the government reversing reversing course as long as everybody remains peaceful it remains a family atmosphere everybody is loving to one another and loving to people in the government who disagree with us like they're i i i i'm not a fan of justin trudeau as a politician But I don't hate him as a person.
Speaker 4
I don't really care either way. We just want him to make the right decision.
And they think they understand.
Speaker 4 And when we're not combative like that it's very difficult to paint us as any sort of you know uh extremists or any any sort of agitator that's going to get aggressive with them because we have not been
Speaker 2 so one of the things that they uh the narrative that they push is this is hurting this is hurting businesses this is hurting you know mom-pop businesses that just can't get because the the supply lines are are broken down and even just having the trucks you know off the road you're hurting businesses how do you respond to that yeah so the two years of lockdowns and crushing people's livelihoods and everything they worked for that didn't hurt their businesses and it's amazing here in Ottawa there's a few people that have been opening their businesses
Speaker 4 despite the fact that the local government is issuing tickets to businesses that open up because it's a state of emergency in the city of Ottawa. So they can't have it both ways.
Speaker 4 They can't say it's illegal to open up, but if you do, we're going to give you a ticket and it's the trucker's fault.
Speaker 4
So there's been a few local brave businesses that have opened up despite the restrictions from the local government and Mayor Watson. And their businesses are booming.
They love us.
Speaker 4
I mean, there's one Schwerma shop we've been going to every day. Tons of us go.
They've never been so busy in their lives,
Speaker 4 in recent years, especially since COVID.
Speaker 4 And we're doing everything we can to any business that opens up to give them as much business as possible, just as thanks for standing up and being there for us.
Speaker 2 We're talking to BJ Dichter. He is a spokesperson for the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy in Ottawa.
Speaker 2 We found out this weekend, Give, Send, Go, which was standing firmly,
Speaker 2 was hacked over the weekend.
Speaker 2 And a lot of people that gave, they were doxxed and now being harassed for giving to you guys um you know i wonder where the fbi is on that one um how are you raising money now
Speaker 4 um
Speaker 4 give send go that money is actually being held by them uh despite the fact that the ontario government thought it has jurisdiction in the united states they're learning very quickly that they don't So GiveSend Go is holding on to that money while our
Speaker 4 lawyers litigate this in court and try to get that money released.
Speaker 4 But what we've been doing, I'm a big Bitcoiner, I have been for many years, and I reached out to the Bitcoin community and said, hey guys,
Speaker 4 maybe this is the moment for Bitcoin and for people to learn about self-sovereignty of money and the importance of that.
Speaker 4 So they banded together, they set up basically the equivalent of GoFundMe, but in the Bitcoin space on a platform called TallyCoin. And it's Bitcoin for truckers.
Speaker 4 And they've now raised, last I checked, $1.2 million.
Speaker 4 And that was primarily going to be for legal funds for defense and offense since we've been targeted and smeared by the fake news media.
Speaker 4 I put in a tweet recently, Nicholas Sandman, so they understand where we're going with this. But until then, until we get the other money released, we're going to,
Speaker 4 I'm hoping by the end of today, actually, I'm having a meeting with the CEO of an exchange will be processing Bick these Bitcoin donations converting them into dollars and sending them to the bank accounts to the truckers who've been waiting patiently for some relief for some fuel repairs all that sort of stuff that they needed
Speaker 2 That's great BJ I wish you all the luck stay safe Stay calm. You guys are making a big difference
Speaker 2
And I wish you nothing but the best in peace. Thank you.
If you'd like to give, all you have to do is just search for Bitcoin for truckers, Bitcoin for truckers, and you'll find TallyCoin.
Speaker 2 Back in a minute.
Speaker 2
Judith wrote in about her experience with Relief Factor. She said, I started taking Relief Factor about two months ago.
She said, quote, this stuff is fantastic. It has helped me out so much.
Speaker 2 In addition to my arthritis, I have a lot of other aches and pains throughout my body, and Relief Factor has been a miracle worker for me.
Speaker 2 Relief Factor, created by doctors to help your body reduce inflammation and that is the major source of all of our pain and it has four ways it attacks inflammation in the body like ibuprofen is one.
Speaker 2 These are four different ways that you can attack where the real source of most of our pain really is and inflammation.
Speaker 2 I take Relief Factor every day, have for the last three or four years, and I'm telling you, it has made a huge difference in my life. Try the three-week quick start developed for you, $19.95.

Speaker 2 If you missed any of the the show today, you've missed a lot already. You can get the podcast wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 You can download it after this program is finished on radio from broadcast to podcast, the Glenn Beck program. Don't miss an episode.
Speaker 2 Earlier in the podcast, we talked about what's happening with the Hillary Clinton campaign being caught now red-handed spying on Donald Trump's campaign and using big tech to spy and hack into the servers at the White House.
Speaker 2 It's insanity.
Speaker 2 But if you're watching mainstream media, you know, you probably know that,
Speaker 2 oh, I don't know. Joe Biden is worse than
Speaker 2 January 6th, which I thought was the worst thing that has ever happened.
Speaker 2
But apparently, no. It's Joe Rogan.
Who did I say? Joe Rogan.
Speaker 2 His,
Speaker 2
yeah. Well, Joe Biden is actually worse than January 6th, but Joe Rogan is not.
Yeah. I couldn't believe that
Speaker 2 op-ed from CNN
Speaker 2 that we're just letting white people get away with it now. He can just say whatever he wants.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 it's worse than January 6th. I mean,
Speaker 2 these guys are living in a crazy world, crazy world. Can you imagine actually believing these things?
Speaker 2 Well, I can now,
Speaker 2 but if you would ask me two years ago, five years ago, no way.
Speaker 2
No way would I have believed it. Just shows how fast we've gone downhill and how far down that hill we are.
I don't know that there's any hill left to slide down, is there? No,
Speaker 2 I don't think there is. We'd have to pick ourselves back up.
Speaker 2 I don't know if you saw this, what was happening in Ontario, but the police, there's a video that's going around now
Speaker 2 of the police going door to door and talking to this one video was this woman who was on Facebook and she was talking about the truckers rally.
Speaker 2 And the police show up at her door and they say, hey, we just want you to know some of the rules. And she's like,
Speaker 2 what are you,
Speaker 2
what are you spying on me? And they're like, no, we just... We're just watching everybody that's talking about the...
So, yeah, that's spying on me.
Speaker 2 And people online, they either get it or they don't. And they're like, what's the problem if she's not doing anything wrong? What's the problem?
Speaker 2 I don't know. The Stasi, the SS,
Speaker 2 the KGB,
Speaker 2
China, and people who just disappear. I don't know.
That's a problem, America. A real problem.
Speaker 2 The Glenn Bach program.
Speaker 2 You know,
Speaker 2
I cannot sleep on just any old sheet, I guess. I don't know what's happening.

And I'm up here at the ranch.
Speaker 2 Thank goodness I had the dream sheets, the Giza dream sheets up here

Speaker 2 And I'm on a
Speaker 2 Joe Biden was with Lester Holt and
Speaker 2 said this about personal freedoms before the Super Bowl. So what is your message to people who want desperately for this to be over and to be able to resume the lives that they remember?
Speaker 2 Well, look,
Speaker 8 I love how people talk about personal freedom.
Speaker 2 Do you?
Speaker 8 If you're exercising personal
Speaker 9 freedom, put someone else in jeopardy,
Speaker 9 their health in jeopardy.
Speaker 8 I don't consider that being very
Speaker 9 dealing with freedom.
Speaker 10 I don't consider that dealing with freedom.
Speaker 2 What?
Speaker 2 All abortion theories aside, because
Speaker 2 he certainly doesn't feel that way about abortion, does it? That personal freedom where my body, my choice, doesn't apply to the
Speaker 2 to the person that you're killing.
Speaker 2
Nope. So nope.
Nope. So don't worry about that.
And he wants you to know that he feels your pain. When it comes to gas prices, I want you to listen to this.
Speaker 8 I'm going to work like the devil to bring gas prices down, which I'm going to work in to make sure that we keep strengthening the supply chains to bring the cost of energy and everything else, the goods that come to America down
Speaker 8 by helping the force 24-7, by changing a whole range of things.
Speaker 2 Can you stop for just a second?
Speaker 2 Listen to him. Listen how I
Speaker 2 work like the devil, and some people think that maybe I am.
Speaker 2 Listen to the way he is talking. He has, you want to talk about low energy.
Speaker 2
He's got no energy. He is aging rapidly.
And by the way, you're going to work like the devil to bring gas prices down by strengthening the global supply chain so those things can come to America? No,
Speaker 2
no, Joe. You don't do it that way.
You
Speaker 2 bring us back to energy independence, you know, like Donald Trump had us when you first got on. This guy's a moron.
Speaker 2 I don't know if you saw Kyle Dunnegan.
Speaker 2 can we play
Speaker 2 cut three? This is this parody he did of Biden, and it's fantastic.
Speaker 3 President of the United States, my fellow Jamaicans, the nation is in crisis.
Speaker 3 The Decepticon variant Hobo 19 is still killing fat people.
Speaker 3 Inflation is destroying our fart jars, and now that Ukraine is being
Speaker 3 sexually raped. That is why I've asked Congress to order a full-scale attack on Joe Rogan.
Speaker 3 Not Joe Rogan, the Russian guy, the guy with the shirt, Pootie Tang, man.
Speaker 3 Bad dude.
Speaker 3
We got to come together, man. Get this guy.
He's got our cranes. He's got all the cranes.
We need a
Speaker 3 better buildback. The build back,
Speaker 3 the bit of buildback, better plan, man. You say it three times fast, pal.
Speaker 2 You say it.
Speaker 2
Stop. This is great.
This is great.
Speaker 2 By the way,
Speaker 2 for our engineers,
Speaker 2 the camera or something is picking up like a party line. I'm not kidding you.
Speaker 2
Oh, I can hear it in the background. Can you hear? Yeah.
Yeah. I don't know who that is.
Speaker 2 Mabel, is that you? If you're on a party line, you guys should stop talking because we can hear you.
Speaker 2 But anyway, I don't know what that is. Please don't say anything icky and personal because I don't really want to hear it.
Speaker 2 Let me play another piece of audio that you might not have heard. This is a former BlackRock executive, in case you don't know who BlackRock is.
Speaker 2 They manage
Speaker 2 about $20 trillion,
Speaker 2 probably more like $30 if you count the central banks and the Federal Reserve, which they're now investing for. Here is the former BlackRock executive talking about what we're headed towards.
Speaker 11 Listen: The global debt bubble is at its peak and um it's becoming apparent uh given what's going on across the globe that um we're at the end
Speaker 11 and due to that fact um we're going to see um lots of crazy things in the financial markets i think uh we're going to see um the credit markets become unhinged the equity markets become unhinged um you know the fed got a reprieve from COVID when they were able to, you know, the cover of COVID print 65% more money to keep this thing afloat.
Speaker 11 But we're at the end days here. And a lot of what you're seeing in the response from global governments is what I believe is setting up a system to,
Speaker 11
you know, under the guise of medical tyranny to prevent the riots that are going to ensue once this thing all unwinds. That's my personal belief.
And I watch what people do and what they say.
Speaker 2 I think he's exactly right. That's why he's a former BlackRock executive
Speaker 2
because he is, I think, speaking the truth. That is what's going on.
They know trouble is coming, and they need to have little cages built for everybody.
Speaker 2 I will tell you that I was with the Freedom Caucus on Friday in Florida, and
Speaker 2 I just think they're the best people in Congress. I just think if we could have more of the Freedom Caucus and less of the,
Speaker 2 I don't know, caucus caucus,
Speaker 2 we would be in much better shape. These guys are for the Constitution
Speaker 2 and small government, and they get it. And
Speaker 2
they, I believe, have real solutions. Everybody else is nibbling around the edges.
But I spoke to them, and I have to tell you, I was really impressed with what they are doing.
Speaker 2 They are working ahead on what happens when we do have control of Congress, which is nice. I don't usually see a plan that people are actually going to do.
Speaker 2 You know, you just usually get a bunch of talking points from people like Turtlehead in the Senate about, you know, you give us the House, the Senate, and the White House.
Speaker 2 Boy, we're going to do these things, and they never do.
Speaker 2 The Freedom Caucus is serious about what they're doing. I talked to them about the ESG.
Speaker 2 And before I started, I said, so how many here
Speaker 2 raise your hand if you know about ESG? ESG? About, sadly, 10 hands went up in the room.
Speaker 2 In fact, one of the guys that was with me actually gasped. He was like,
Speaker 2 I said, okay, out of the 10, how many of you think you can at least hold your own and
Speaker 2 we can dive in on the
Speaker 2 medium deep end of the pool and we can have a conversation and you can keep up? Only one hand remained up. Then I said, how many of you know about MMT, modern monetary theory? One hand went up.
Speaker 2 These are the good guys.
Speaker 2 These are the good guys. They don't know.
Speaker 2 You have got to tell your lawyer. I told them, I said, if you guys go home this weekend, and if you are not by Wednesday deep into MMT and
Speaker 2 ESG scores and what's happening with the great reset,
Speaker 2 all your plans are not going to come to anything because this is the Rosetta Stone. This is what you need to understand.
Speaker 2 I was really excited to hear they're setting up a fellow now at CPI. One of the big donors there said, I want to put a,
Speaker 2 I want to pay for the studies to go on right now about that. So CPI, who hosted this,
Speaker 2
is working towards something now. And I think there was some real urgency there.
I'm here in Idaho up at my ranch. I'm going to meet with the
Speaker 2 Senate, the House leadership, and the governor tomorrow.
Speaker 2 And,
Speaker 2 you know,
Speaker 2 I'll work with anybody that
Speaker 2 is sincere,
Speaker 2 but I plan on telling all of them because a few of them are up for re-election.
Speaker 2 I think the Great Reset and ESG
Speaker 2 is
Speaker 2 the most important thing we can do is to shore ourselves up to make sure that our banks aren't operating under this global contract of ESG, and we get our money out of places like BlackRock, and that includes your state treasuries, and they make sure that no litmus test for you to get a loan is going to happen for social justice or governance or your green energy uses, all of that has to stop.
Speaker 2 And if your governor, if your
Speaker 2 representative or your senator locally in your state, if they don't know about it, if they aren't actively engaged in stopping it, and I mean with more than just words,
Speaker 2 if they're not actively engaged, and by the time November comes around, they'll all have plenty of time to pass legislation.
Speaker 2 And you'll know who voted against it and who voted for it, who was on the front line, who wasn't.
Speaker 2 If they're not on the front line of this, you need a new governor or you need a new senator or you need a new House of Representatives person.
Speaker 2 This has got to be the litmus test because everything else is meaningless. Everything else is a show.
Speaker 2 This is how they build the cage. And I love how they were talking about
Speaker 2 inflation. And Joe Biden, once again, went to, that's why you got to pass my $2 billion
Speaker 2 stimulus package, the Build Back Better bill.
Speaker 2
Are you kidding me? You know what that is? That's the machinery, but it's covered in sugar. And the sugar is, we're going to give you free health care.
We're going to give you,
Speaker 2
you know, free apartments. We're going to give you free daycare.
It's all these free things on top because they know what's coming.
Speaker 2 That those things are going to be wanted and needed by a lot of people. And they're going to look to the government if nobody else will provide.
Speaker 2
And the government's going to be more than willing to do it. You just have to trade in some of your freedoms.
Warning, it is coming sooner than you think. Back in just a minute.
Speaker 2 Our sponsor, this half hour, is My Patriot Supply.
Speaker 2 If you
Speaker 2 are paying attention at all, you know what is coming our way is going to be tough.
Speaker 2 And by the way, we make it. We make it through this, so you know.
Speaker 2 But we have to do the things to keep our families safe and secure and to make the journey to the other side a little bit easier. My Patriot Supply.
Speaker 2 Can you guys hear that? Can you hear that? I mean, it's like a party line, and it's coming from.
Speaker 2
I don't know. I think the camera.
How does that even work?
Speaker 2 Anyway, My Patriot Supply
Speaker 2
is a place that can help you keep your family secure. You don't want to have to worry about food.
The supply chain breaks down. The price of milk, the price of food.
Speaker 2 You know, if you don't have really any money, you're living paycheck to paycheck, that's fine.
Speaker 2 When you go into supermarkets or where where Costco or wherever you buy your food, buy an extra box of macaroni and cheese. Buy a couple of extra, anything that is on sale that keeps.
Speaker 2 You need to do that.
Speaker 2
Another way to do it is through my Patriot supply. And this is how my family is prepared.
My Patriot supply, the food lasts 25 years. It's 200, sorry, 2,000 calories per person.
Speaker 2 You need four weeks at least, four weeks of food to weather any kind of storm that could come our way. They have the four-week food supply, emergency food kit on sale right now, special $50 discount.

Speaker 2 This
Speaker 2 is amazing. This news is just breaking out of Canada.
Speaker 2 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has told his caucus he is going to invoke the never-before-used Emergencies Act to give the federal government extra power to handle the protests across the country.
Speaker 2 Sources who were not authorized to speak publicly said the Prime Minister will inform the Premiers of his decision later today.
Speaker 2 In a meeting with the Liberal caucus on Monday morning, Trudeau said there were no plans to deploy the military, according to the sources.
Speaker 2 The Emergency Act, which replaced the War Measures Act in the 1980s, defines a national emergency as a temporary, urgent, and critical situation that seriously endangers the life, health, or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity of authority of a province to deal with.
Speaker 2 The Act grants the Cabinet the ability to take special temporary means that may not be appropriate in normal times to cope with an emergency and the resulting fallout during an urgent and critical situation.
Speaker 2 It also gives powers to the Prime Minister to
Speaker 2 respond to four different types of emergencies: public welfare, public order, international emergencies, and war emergencies.
Speaker 2 I can't believe what I'm reading.
Speaker 2 This is coming from the CBC.ca.
Speaker 2 Well, look how violent they've been.
Speaker 2 With our trucks parked the way they are.
Speaker 2
Trudeau went out and he knelt with BLM. He took a knee with BLM.
He won't even talk to these people. And now the never-before-used
Speaker 2 Emergency Powers Act
Speaker 2 holy cow
Speaker 2 it what happens what happens
Speaker 2 when this thing begins to break down what happen what do Canadians do now when they see the Emergency Powers Act if if they start dragging these families out of their trucks
Speaker 2 isn't that what you'd expect though with the Emergency Powers Act that's It sounds like
Speaker 2 that's probably what they'll be doing.
Speaker 2 Yeah,
Speaker 2 they're going to have to. I mean, you're not using the police.
Speaker 2 You would have to use military.
Speaker 5 Wouldn't you?
Speaker 2 If you say
Speaker 2 if the powers give you the right to deal with things that the local province can't deal with, that would be a national
Speaker 2
police force or National Guard. I don't know what they have up in Canada.
The monkeys. The world is truly, truly.
Speaker 2 Oh, now. I'd love to.
Speaker 2 I'd love to see them sand in the mountains.
Speaker 2
That would be tremendous. That's worth the price of admission.
I'm getting a bucket of popcorn for that.
Speaker 2
The world has gone insane. Keep it right where it is.
More to follow.
Speaker 2 Got no room to compromise.
Speaker 2 We gotta stand together, it's the corresponding.
Speaker 2 Stand up straight and hold the line.
Speaker 2 It's a new day, I'm turned to rise.
Speaker 2 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenback program.
Speaker 2 Let me give you the opening phrases of a new book that is out that is,
Speaker 2 I think,
Speaker 2 a little bit terrifying
Speaker 2 when you realize what we're talking about here.
Speaker 2 When a society begins to unwind, chaos ensues. It's now crystal clear that our opponents want to create confusion, undermine basic truths, and take down America.
Speaker 2 The opponents can be recognized by what they want to tear down, the family, traditional traditional morality, gender, public order, public safety, public police protection, freedom of speech, religious liberty, abortion restrictions, the military, America, Israel, and the Christian religion.
Speaker 2 It's an all-out assault on Western civilization.
Speaker 2 What name shall we give those nihilists?
Speaker 2 For here, let's call them the Desecrators.
Speaker 2 The author of those words in 60 seconds.
Speaker 2 Well,
Speaker 2 the word of the day over at Sleepy Joe's playhouse at the White House is inflation. Not that he remembers the word of the day or most words on any days, but inflation is coming.
Speaker 2 We've been telling you forever that inflation...
Speaker 2 If it kicks in, because of the spending and the printing we're doing, it's a real problem.
Speaker 2 And once wages go up because of it, it's game over because you're in a spiral that you just have a very hard time getting out of. I don't know how we get out of this.
Speaker 2 The head of global economics at the Bank of America, Ethan Harris, said just last week, when we get this broad-based increase and it starts making its way to wages, You're way behind the curve and the Fed better start moving.
Speaker 2 Well, I don't know what they're going to do.
Speaker 2 I can tell you what you should do, and that is protect yourself with something physical, something tangible, something that has proven itself to be a hedge against insanity time and time again, and that is gold or silver, precious metals.
Speaker 2 One additional week, Goldline is extending their special on historic $5 gold Indians and Liberty coins.
Speaker 2 Call them to find out how you can qualify for free gold and silver when you acquire these historic items. It's 866Goldline, 866Goldline, or goldline.com.
Speaker 2 Matt Schlapp is joining us now.
Speaker 2
He is the chairman of CPAC, the American Conservative Union, also the author of The Desecrators, a new book that comes out tomorrow. Hi, Matt.
How are you?
Speaker 4 Hey, Glenn, great to be with you.
Speaker 2 I want to start actually on something that
Speaker 2 I I got throughout the book, it talks about
Speaker 2 you and
Speaker 2 your wake-up, your personal transformation,
Speaker 2 realizing that what you always believed about America, that Democrat and Republicans, we can disagree, but
Speaker 2 we work together and
Speaker 2
liberals eventually become conservatives. You're saying that's no longer the case.
Can you give me the wake-up call
Speaker 4 Yeah,
Speaker 4
that's a great question. The wake-up call I had was my wife is working for President Trump in the White House.
We have been fixtures in Washington, D.C. for quite a while.
I'm 54 years old.
Speaker 4 We both worked and met under
Speaker 4 in President George W. Bush's White House.
Speaker 4
So we've kind of had our whole professional career here in Washington, D.C. We have tons of friends in the media.
We have tons of friends who are Democrats.
Speaker 4
I've worked on all kinds of bipartisan efforts. And what I realized is like the curtain was ripped apart under Trump.
And what you realized is that they don't like us. They don't respect us.
Speaker 4
They think we're bad. They're trying to destroy us.
And they actually don't believe in America. And it was a long time coming to this, but, you know, I had to get there.
Speaker 2
Their arrogance is astonishing. I don't know if you saw the news.
It just came out from the CBC.
Speaker 2 But Justin Trudeau, later this afternoon, is going to be invoking the Emergency Powers Act, which has never been used in Canada.
Speaker 2
And it sounds to me like martial law is coming. They're going to do something to these truckers.
And they
Speaker 2
describe these truckers. And the same thing here with anybody who is, you know, not woke enough.
They describe us really almost like vermin.
Speaker 4
Well, you know, Glenn, it's a little bit our own fault. And I'm, and I know that's provocative to say.
I'm going to say it's a little bit my fault.
Speaker 4
We had this idea that we could be the leave us alone caucus. You know, we're going to live our lives.
We're not overly judgmental on how others live their lives. The government should leave us alone.
Speaker 4 And yes,
Speaker 4
the left will take over universities and school school boards. And we kind of rolled our eyes at that.
And we knew that we'd raise our kids to have common sense. And we'd come to
Speaker 4 some kind of resolution on all this.
Speaker 4 And what we didn't realize is that in being a little meek and a little too polite and a little quiet, we turned over the whole dang thing, the keys to everything to them.
Speaker 2 And now they view us.
Speaker 4
as sh they view us as sheep. They view us as meek.
They think that they can dominate us even though they're a strong minority.
Speaker 4 We have more numbers than they have.
Speaker 4 And so what I see happening in Australia and Canada and in our big cities in America is the fascist left saying, well, this is our moment to strike. We can finally get rid of these.
Speaker 2 And they really mean that.
Speaker 2 I'm interested in having you explain
Speaker 2
Desecrator. I mean, that's the name of the book, and you make it very, very clear clear why you chose that.
But it is a provocative word, and I think you're accurate. Explain.
Speaker 4 Well, my co-author Deal Hudson and I were talking, and he said, you know, initially we thought we'd write a book on cancel culture.
Speaker 4 And he had approached me because my wife and I had been so, you know, had been so canceled by our old world and old friends and everything about our life.
Speaker 4
And he's like, he really ought to tell the story. And we were starting to write it.
And it was his idea. He said, you know, it's really not cancel culture.
Speaker 4 That's more of a political term that's like okay you get shut down you lose your job you lose your facebook page whatever
Speaker 4 desert creators uh
Speaker 4 it incorporates this idea that there's a spiritual component to this why is the left going after all the things that make us happy that are truthful that are holy that are transcendent, that are unique?
Speaker 4 Why are they going after all the pillars of these things at exactly the same time?
Speaker 4 Gender, the family, faith, America's role in the world, the idea of truth and what that words mean something in the Constitution. They're going after all those things at the same time.
Speaker 4 We believe that's because there is a spiritual battle going on in this country and in civilization. And we think the devil is very cocky.
Speaker 4 And we think that he views this as a moment where maybe not just America, but this whole idea of civilization would come crashing down. We actually think in the book, we describe this.
Speaker 4 This is the moment we're in. We think we can win it, but my lord, people have got to wake up to what we're facing.
Speaker 2
I mean, quickly, really quickly, this has to be a great awakening in every sense of that word. It has to happen right now.
I was talking to CPI
Speaker 2 and the Freedom Caucus on Friday at
Speaker 2 their convention, and
Speaker 2 I said, you know,
Speaker 2 are, it's a finish to the wire.
Speaker 2 One of us, if we wake up quickly, we win.
Speaker 2 If we wait, you know, any, any longer,
Speaker 2
they're building their cages right now. And they're moving as fast as they can.
We can still win, but it's going to be right down to the wire. Would you agree with that?
Speaker 4
I would agree with that. And I live in Virginia.
I live in this Commonwealth. And look, ordinary moms and dads and teachers and coaches and cops led the way.
People are waking up.
Speaker 4 That's why our theme at CPAC is going to be America Awake, Not Woke.
Speaker 4 And
Speaker 4 we have got to have a great America unwokening and unwakening. And it's got to start right now.
Speaker 2 You know what's funny is most people don't know this, but Abraham Lincoln,
Speaker 2 the group of people that were really the most
Speaker 2 active in stopping slavery and supporting Abraham Lincoln was a group called the Wide Awakers.
Speaker 2
And they were wide awake and they were pushing, wake up, people, stay awake, be wide awake. You have to see what's going on.
And I can relate to that now.
Speaker 4 I can, you know, the Bible's replete with examples of
Speaker 4 Jesus and God warning us to stay awake.
Speaker 4 And this idea of vigilance is really important now because who would have thought these people would be like trying to like propagandize our kids about every tiny little thing?
Speaker 4 It's like we've got to be aware of everything now. And I think,
Speaker 4 boy, the reference to Lincoln is perfect because that was a moment when it was a question of whether America would survive. And I think we're at that moment again.
Speaker 2 I
Speaker 2 don't disagree with you. And I'm glad to see that you're bringing the spiritual aspect into it because,
Speaker 2 um you know do you know who james lindsay is yeah the uh mathematician yeah so he's not a god guy at all um he's not an atheist anymore um and i was talking to him a few months ago and i said you know how how do you describe this and he said glenn you know i don't use these kinds of terms uh he said but the only way to describe what's being done is evil And I think if you really look at it, I mean, just what you wrote, just that list in the book, education, what's being done to our kids is evil.
Speaker 2 The media, the lies, the distortion, the smears, it's evil.
Speaker 2 Entertainment, corporate America, what's happening with sports, all of the things that are going on with the police, freedom of speech, religious liberty, abortion, it's all evil, evil.
Speaker 2 And the virus,
Speaker 4 as the father of five kids, what I've witnessed with the virus is a real attempt to separate kids from their parents.
Speaker 4 The kids go to schools, even schools that are well-meaning, and they teach them this idea that they're going to kill grandma if they don't take these certain steps.
Speaker 4 And that if you're not vaccinated, you're going to
Speaker 4 cause an international death toll.
Speaker 4 And parents that have a more common sense approach to these things, or religious leaders that have a more common sense approach to these things, it creates huge division between the young and the old.
Speaker 4 So it's just getting worse. And you know, Glenn, the other thing is, I'm a simple man, and I know this: that when you do what God wants you to do, it brings you joy.
Speaker 4 Even if your circumstances are desperate and tough, it brings you joy. They call it ecstasy in a spiritual sense because you know you're doing what you were put on the earth to do.
Speaker 4 I ask you, have you ever met one of these desecrators who was happy or joyful? I've never.
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2
And I can't, I can't. I often think, I can't imagine living like that.
They're always so miserable, miserable. I mean, you know me, Matt.
Speaker 2 I'm not exactly a happy-go-lucky optimist, but I'm a happy guy. I really am.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 they never are.
Speaker 2 What's the first thing we have to do, Matt?
Speaker 4 The first thing we have to do is we have to, I call it the Trump whispering.
Speaker 4 And I give these stories in the book of how people would walk up to me and whisper in my ear about how they love Trump, but they didn't want to say it loudly.
Speaker 4 And what I realized is that that's how it is in everything. If you want to have a traditional view of America, if you want to talk about questions of race and you're a white guy, you have to whisper.
Speaker 4
You have to find someone who won't yell at you or call you a name. That has to end right now.
No more whispering. I know you might lose your job.
Your kid might not get into the fancy school.
Speaker 4
Your kid might not be the, you know, the starting forward on the basketball team. There are ramifications, but think about this.
What you're giving up in your silence is the future of this country.
Speaker 4 And if what I learned when we did these CPACs around the globe, including with the kids in Hong Kong, when we were the first people to protest with them, these kids all came up to me in their broken English and said,
Speaker 4
for the very first time, we think America has our back. America stands for freedom.
If America goes away, we go away. And that is, I hate to say it, but that is the tragedy of our moment.
Speaker 4
We're in this conversation in America about insane ideas that the left is pushing. But what's really behind all of this is the end of order in the whole globe.
And we're the listeners.
Speaker 4
So we better stand up. Thank you, parents and cops and coaches in Virginia.
Now let's all the rest of us do it.
Speaker 2 Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, author of a book comes out tomorrow, The Desecrators, Defeating the Cancel Culture Mob and reclaiming one nation under God.
Speaker 2
Highly recommend the Desecrators. Matt, thank you so much.
We'll talk to you again.
Speaker 4
God bless. Thank you, Glenn.
God bless you.
Speaker 2 So the left loves to divide us, and
Speaker 2
it's really the core of their existence, to divide and destroy. You're not an American.
You're gay or you're straight. You're male or you're female.
You're black or you're white.
Speaker 2 That's how they see the world through tribalism. And everyone is a victim.
Speaker 2 Nobody's focusing on
Speaker 2 what makes us great, what makes us strong.
Speaker 2 The fact is, we're a melting pot of a whole bunch of different individuals and risk takers who have the opportunity to take those risks, to do the crazy thing that everybody says is nuts because of our freedom.
Speaker 2 These are the kinds of things that you're going to learn with your kids in the Tuttle Twins books. They're courageous heroes and inspiring entrepreneurs.
Speaker 2 The books profile individuals who made a difference, who changed the world, who stood up for what was right and challenged the world and made it better.
Speaker 2
Others took chances, innovated, succeeded. They all should inspire our kids, and we have lost all of those stories.
These and other Tuttle Twin teen books are on sale for Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2 We have
Speaker 2 quite an interesting Wednesday night special coming this week.
Speaker 2 I'm not going to give you all the details because I don't want to give anybody advance warning. But the question has always been: who's really running the White House? I mean, is it Biden?
Speaker 2 Who's really running it? A lot of people will say, oh, it's the chief of staff that's running it right now. No.
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2 We got a tip on something, and we've pursued it, and it has taken us to
Speaker 2 Alice in Wonderland will make more sense than this.
Speaker 2 You'll see the real power in the White House who really
Speaker 2
is calling the shots. And I mean, we joke.
I joke with my staff all the time. I'm like,
Speaker 2 you know,
Speaker 2 you're not helping me become more popular with people that, you know, have everything to lose and are not good people. This isn't helping.
Speaker 2 But you need to know it, and we will tell it to you on Wednesday.
Speaker 2 I urge you to please go to Blazetv.com and become a member of the Blaze TV.
Speaker 2 It will be the Alamo.
Speaker 2 We will tell you the truth as long as we can possibly do it. And

Speaker 2 Well, let's see.
Speaker 2 Is this happening a lot faster, Pat, than you
Speaker 2 than you thought?
Speaker 2 What, the implosion of the of the planet?
Speaker 2 Yeah. The implosion of everything we hold dear? Yeah, yeah, I'd say it's happening faster than I thought it would, yeah.
Speaker 2 And you and I, we've talked about this forever, and we've talked about birth pangs and, you know, how towards the end it's going to come faster and faster. But it's breathtaking.
Speaker 2
It is really breathtaking. Yeah.
Things are happening that just a short while ago you would have never dreamed were possible. No way.
Speaker 2 I mean, they're running
Speaker 2
running roughshod over the Constitution. Nobody cares.
They just ignore it. And when it's brought up,
Speaker 2 they still don't care. They just deny it and move on.
Speaker 2 They're pretty good at this.
Speaker 2 We were having, I had dinner with, I don't know,
Speaker 2 eight or nine people
Speaker 2 the other day.
Speaker 2 And we were sitting around and people started talking nonsense.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 I said, you know,
Speaker 2 I hate to be this guy, but
Speaker 2 I'm going to tell you a story about Ben Franklin. Ben Franklin, I think it was in 75, 74, 75, said,
Speaker 2 I can't hang out with my friends anymore who are just talking about trifles.
Speaker 2 What's happening in the world is way too important. You have to have those conversations with people.
Speaker 2 You know, they don't want to hear it, whatever.
Speaker 2 You've got to have those conversations with people and
Speaker 2 start
Speaker 2
steering away from those people who just don't want to hear it or don't want to think about it. Because you need to.
You need to.
Speaker 2 And you need to find like-minded people that will help others when this all hits the fan.

Speaker 2 How long have you had your current mobile service? Are you one of those people who have bounced around from seemingly good deal to seemingly good deal?

Speaker 2 Or are you the type of the person who's been with the same company forever, despite the fact that you're also paying through the nose? How would you like to actually not pay through the nose?
Speaker 2 How would you like to not have your money being used to further abortions with Planned Parenthood? Because if you're a Verizon customer, that's what's happening.
Speaker 2
And a lot of these big cell phone companies, they're doing the same thing. I mean, it's like Coca-Cola.
They're, you know, they're part of this. Get away from those guys.

Speaker 2 This is the Glenbeck program. It is Valentine's Day.
Speaker 2
I was working on a painting. I wanted to have it done for Valentine's Day and just haven't had a chance to finish it, so maybe next Valentine's Day.
But
Speaker 2 it's of this old couple walking down the street and
Speaker 2 they're holding hands, and they're both so hunched over. You know, they're just
Speaker 2 not by choice, they're just kind of almost looking down at their feet as they're walking. But it's their holding of hands
Speaker 2 that I focus on.
Speaker 2 I'm going to call the painting young love
Speaker 2 because I think that's the
Speaker 2
at least that's the goal for me and my wife. By the way, honey, sorry I'm not home.
Valentine's Day. I love you.
Speaker 2 The goal for my wife and I is
Speaker 2 to
Speaker 2 grow old together, to be that couple that that is walking down the street holding hands.
Speaker 2 You know, when I was growing up, it was, it was, it was different. We
Speaker 2
people didn't get divorced. My grandmother yelled at me when I got a divorce.
She said,
Speaker 2 You think your grandfather and I
Speaker 2 liked each other all those years? And I was like, well,
Speaker 2 up until now, yeah, grandma. She said, no, we loved each other.
Speaker 2 You get through those moments.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 there's something about old couples that are just magical.
Speaker 2 Dave Isse is with us. He's the founder of Storycore.
Speaker 2 If you've ever listened to NPR, they do Storycore and they play it on NPR
Speaker 2

And Dave has brought some of just those great stories over to this audience, which I so appreciate.
Speaker 2 Dave, welcome to the program. How are you, sir?
Speaker 4 I'm doing great. How are you doing, Glenn?
Speaker 2
I'm good. Happy Valentine's Day.
Good.
Speaker 2 Yeah, you too.
Speaker 4 Great, beautiful intro about
Speaker 4 the painting. And I have to say, now a lot of people say to me, I hear you on the Glenn Beck Show, so it's not only an NPR thing anymore.
Speaker 2
Oh, that's good. That's good.
That's good. Well, that's one of the things we talked about.
These stories should be
Speaker 2 universal.
Speaker 2 So let's start with, you brought a couple of stories with you, and I love both of them, so I want to get to both. So can we start with Lyle and Carly?
Speaker 4 Yeah, sure. So
Speaker 4 this is a very simple, so
Speaker 4 as you said, you know, with StoryCorp, we have everyday people across the country
Speaker 4 coming into one of our trailers and telling the stories of their lives. And this is,
Speaker 4 we've had about 700,000 people across America do this. Say, I'll go to the Library of Congress.
Speaker 4
And this is an excerpt of a conversation between a 90-year-old grandpa, Lia Link, and his daughter, Carly. And he talks about growing up on his family's farm in Wisconsin.
And it is a love story.
Speaker 4 Listen.
Speaker 2 Listen to this.
Speaker 10 My father believed that any man that needed a vacation should get a different job because for him, those 110 acres was the whole world and he needed nothing else. But farming wasn't for me.
Speaker 10 I wasn't happy picking corn or shoveling manure, although milking cows was good because I could sing opera in the farm milking cows, and that was great.
Speaker 13 It sounds like you were the black sheep.
Speaker 10
Yeah, I drove my poor father nuts. He couldn't understand me.
I remember his saying one day, son, you cannot think the thoughts you think.
Speaker 10
My brother was totally a farmer. He never made another footstep that my father hadn't made before, and I couldn't walk in my father's footsteps to save my soul.
So if the day came, I left.
Speaker 13 Tell me about how you met Grandma.
Speaker 10 She came to the church that we attended, and I said to her, someday I'm going to ask you to marry me. And I took her hand and it went from there.
Speaker 13
You and Grandma had so many adventures in your lives. You bet.
Your honeymoon was just driving across the country.
Speaker 10 Yes, I had a 36 Chevy and I was able to lay a mattress in the back seat.
Speaker 10
And we spent our first night in that car on a bluff over the Mississippi River. My father, by the way, did not approve of that kind of outrageous living.
But I was willing to break new ground.
Speaker 10 And your grandma really was ready to break new ground.
Speaker 13 Yes.
Speaker 13 I know that
Speaker 13 it's hard to talk about grandma, but what made you love her so much?
Speaker 2 I don't know.
Speaker 2 I don't know.
Speaker 10 It was something I couldn't help.
Speaker 10 We have been in love for almost 70 years,
Speaker 10 and
Speaker 10 she now died.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 10 all I can say is that
Speaker 2 life
Speaker 10
was so beautiful. Is.
It is so beautiful.
Speaker 2 I'm terribly, terribly lonesome.
Speaker 13 She was pretty amazing.
Speaker 2 Very. Yeah.
Speaker 13 Do you have any regrets, Grandpa?
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2 Well, no, we lived a wonderful life.
Speaker 10
I think when we got married, we made all new tracks, and we never stepped in any old tracks. I want you to do the same thing.
Live with courage.
Speaker 2 That is just remarkable.
Speaker 2 So simple and so remarkable, Dave.
Speaker 4 Well, you know,
Speaker 4 it's the grace grace that's hiding in plain sight all around us when we take the time to listen.
Speaker 4
These are our stories. You know, we talk about this every time I come on, you know, we're in the 24-hour news cycle.
You know, we're just, we forget who we are as Americans, and this is who we are.
Speaker 4
It's as simple as that. And, you know, the last words, those last three words, live with courage, that he tells his granddaughter.
I mean, what else do we need to know in order to live a good life?
Speaker 4 I mean, like you said,
Speaker 4 all you want to do is end up as an old person
Speaker 4 holding hands with
Speaker 4 your wife. You know, live with courage.
Speaker 4 That's it. We make things so complicated and so messy, and they're not that complicated.
Speaker 2 You know, they're really not.
Speaker 2 They're really not.
Speaker 4 Assume the best in others. Yeah.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 The other story you brought to share
Speaker 2 is, I mean, you want to talk about live with courage,
Speaker 2 how good things come from adversity and just doing the next next right thing.
Speaker 2 Tell me about Philip and Ruth before we start.
Speaker 4 Sure. This is a story that was recorded just a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 4 This is a guy named Philip.
Speaker 4 This was recorded in Connecticut.
Speaker 4 And
Speaker 4
Philip is 91 years old. And he told the story in a StoryCorps interview about being an 11-year-old in a concentration camp.
And he got separated from his parents.
Speaker 4 And he saw that there were two lines forming. One had kids and old people, and another had people who looked like they could work.
Speaker 4 And he figured out what was going to happen to the people who were on the line with the kids and old people.
Speaker 4 So he made a split-second decision, and he ran to the other line and wanted to tell the story with his wife, Ruth, about the quick decision that saved his life.
Speaker 2 So let's listen. Here's a story from Philip and Ruth.
Speaker 14 I saw a woman standing with two girls, and she was a nurse. So I went over to her and I asked her, would you be kind enough to take me as your son?
Speaker 14 She said,
Speaker 14 if they let me live with two children, maybe they let me live with three.
Speaker 14 Hold on to my dress.
Speaker 14 We survived.
Speaker 14 And even though I saw her only for 15, 20 minutes, I never forgot her face.
Speaker 14 I was able to come to the United States States in 1947.
Speaker 14 I was 17 years old.
Speaker 10 Can you describe life after that?
Speaker 14
Years later, a fellow got married and I didn't want to go to the wedding. I didn't have fancy clothes.
Also, I don't dance.
Speaker 14 But I went and sitting at the table, I said, I come from the town of Bilica.
Speaker 14 A lady was sitting next to me.
Speaker 14 She says, you know, a girlfriend told me a story. They saved a boy from Bilica.
Speaker 14 And we don't know if he's alive.
Speaker 14 When she finished telling me the story, I realized
Speaker 14 that I am the boy.
Speaker 2 I says, where do they live?
Speaker 14 And I called the lady that saved me.
Speaker 14 She picked up and I promised to come to visit her.
Speaker 2 While there, I noticed the two girls.
Speaker 14 They were 18, 19 years old and grown up.
Speaker 10 That was me.
Speaker 10 I was that girl.
Speaker 2 Yes.
Speaker 14 Your mother saved my life.
Speaker 14 I then married you and that's how our family began.
Speaker 14 We have been together as husband and wife for 66
Speaker 2 years.
Speaker 14 We had three children, seven grandchildren.
Speaker 14 So, all in all, I am very thankful
Speaker 14 to be alive.
Speaker 14 God was good to us.
Speaker 2 Dave,
Speaker 2 I think my favorite part of that story is,
Speaker 2 and you can barely hear it, when
Speaker 2 she, I assume it was her kind of
Speaker 2 tapping his hand
Speaker 2
when they got to the happy part. And I remember my grandmother doing that to my grandfather all the time when they would tell happy stories.
It was
Speaker 2 something between them where
Speaker 2 it was just saying,
Speaker 2 we're still, we made it and we're still together and it's good
Speaker 2 yeah
Speaker 2 yeah
Speaker 4 i mean just the fact that it took until
Speaker 4 he was 91 for that story to get told you know it's such an incredible it's such an incredible tale and you have the love and intimacy between them and just the you know it's it it's it it reminds us of how lucky we are to be alive.
Speaker 4 I mean, look at the improbability of that story is just breathtaking.
Speaker 4 Yeah.
Speaker 2 It's amazing to me how we have concentrated, all of us have concentrated on all of the problems, all of the bad things.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 I was just thinking
Speaker 2 this weekend, I think I was writing in my journal, and
Speaker 2 I just,
Speaker 2 I was overwhelmed by how lucky we are. We are so lucky to be born at this time.
Speaker 2 Even with all of our problems, even with all of the trouble in our nation and everything else, I still wouldn't want to be born at any other time and in any other country.
Speaker 4
You got it. I know, I absolutely agree.
I mean,
Speaker 4 what a country this is. What a country this is.
Speaker 4 And, you know, we talk, you and I came together, you know, at first and continue to talk about our efforts to kind of bring people across the political divides together to remember their humanity.
Speaker 4 And, you know, I don't know what Philip and
Speaker 4 Ruth's politics are, but, you know, who cares?
Speaker 4 Lil Link and his granddaughter, who cares?
Speaker 2
Yeah. I mean, we're Americans.
And I think
Speaker 2 that's the way we used to be, and that's where we need to go again.
Speaker 2 Thank you so much.
Speaker 4
Thank you. Thank you, Glenn.
Most people who listen to your show, I think, are the same way. You know, 93% of Americans feel this way.
It's just that we don't get to hear it.
Speaker 4 So thank you for having me on.
Speaker 2
You got it. Dave Issei from Storycore.
Thank you very much. You can find them at storycore.org.

Uh, here's the great news. If you're like me, you don't have to worry about any covered repair because you have car shield.
Life is unpredictable. Things come up, and those big expensive things like
Speaker 2 your car spitting something out

But if you're out of warranty, stop rolling the dice. Get car shield.

Speaker 2 The big story, I think, of the weekend and today has to be the fact that they now have proof that Hillary Clinton's campaign not only spied on Donald Trump as a candidate, but then hacked into the White House servers
Speaker 2 and
Speaker 2 were
Speaker 2 in. I mean, that is
Speaker 2
a pretty big deal. Imagine anybody else doing that.
Imagine
Speaker 2 if they were trying to make make it look like Trump had dealings, it was colluding with Russia when they hacked it.
Speaker 2
That's incredible. So bad.
Incredible.
Speaker 2 Imagine if any conservative would have done anything like that.
Speaker 2 That person would be, I mean, lucky if they weren't for the death penalty. And in the old days, when there were consequences, something like that, because this is akin to treason, what they did.
Speaker 2 Right.
Speaker 2
And that does carry the death penalty. And Trump has made mention of that.
And so the only aspect of the story that's getting covered is that. And they're not telling you why he's saying these things.
Speaker 2 So they're just trying to make him look crazy by suggesting that the people who did this crime should get the death penalty. But it's not outrageous because it is akin to treason.
Speaker 2 I mean, you are hacking, you're hacking into the White House servers
Speaker 2 and you're trying to, I mean,
Speaker 2 what would we do if that was a foreign agent?
Speaker 2 Well, that would be treason. Yes.
Speaker 2 And we probably wouldn't do it anymore, but it would call for the death penalty
Speaker 2 if that person was found guilty of it. So
Speaker 2 it's not outrageous.
Speaker 2
And he's been right all along, but will you ever see this story on CNN or the New York Times? No, probably not. No, I doubt it.
And no apologies to Donald Trump either for destroying his life. Yep.
Speaker 2 Based on this.
Speaker 2 This is the Glenn Back program.
