This

is

the Glenback program.

Holy cow, do we have a great program for you?

We have an hour with with Larry Elder, who just might be the next governor of California.

That's coming up.

Also, I wrote a little song about the first hour.

It goes a little something like this:

Chip Roy!

Oh, how I love him.

I don't have it completely worked out, but maybe by the end of the hour, we begin with the CDC, the mask up

mandates, and

Chip Roy

in 60 seconds

the glenn beck program navigating the current uh housing market without an incredibly qualified real estate agent is a bit like uh

you know dissembling a bomb and uh really have only watched you know like macyvor and you're like i'm pretty sure it's the green wire bad idea Finding out that a qualified agent can be difficult.

It can be.

Finding that person and getting them to actually sell your home on time for the most amount of money or help you buy the next dream home, it is really difficult.

The best real estate in your area, who is it?

Do you know how to qualify them?

Do they have systems where they're already, they've got buyers ready to go, already visiting their website looking for homes like yours?

Realestateagentsitrust.com.

We have done all of that work for you.

We want you to interview them, make sure they're right for you, but we think these are the most qualified in your area.

So let me give you a little update on the CDC and the mask mandate.

Now, you might ask yourself, Glenn, why are people having a problem taking the vaccine?

Well, because, oh, I don't know, we're not talking about if you've had COVID and you already have the antibodies for the first time.

Nobody even is addressing that.

Does that play a role at all?

I've already had it.

We're not talking about

anything really reasonable, it feels at this time.

You're only being belittled, you're being lectured to.

Nobody's sitting down and having a conversation saying, Look, I understand what the thing is.

Nobody's doing that.

It was a

massive push.

They lied to us from the beginning on the masks, on the 15 days,

on all of it.

And now, with this new Delta variant,

which seems

less lethal,

we're being told we have to start all over again.

No, I don't think so.

No, uh-uh.

I won't.

Now, will you take the vaccine?

You know what?

If you would have asked me that,

even Biden would have asked me that six months ago, I would have said, Yeah, of course I am.

No, no, not now.

I don't trust them.

Everybody is acting so weird.

And

when they refuse to answer normal questions,

I feel uncomfortable about it.

Now, I still trust the vaccine.

I don't think there's chips in it, but I just don't like the way they're behaving.

Now, that's just the way I feel.

But when they start to do things like, for instance, what the CDC did on Tuesday,

this doesn't help

listen to this story Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cited an unpublished study from India to justify its recommendation on Tuesday that fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission of COVID-19

Now,

I want you to watch for this because this was a Woodrow Wilson thing.

Experts.

He said it was time to listen to the scientists and the experts.

We couldn't have a represented republic anymore because the things were getting way too complex and we'll just hire a bunch of experts to tell us what we need to do.

And they'll guide society.

That's exactly what is happening.

Notice every time Fauci is questioned on something, he says peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed.

Well, that's what the CDC said.

Here's this study from India that says we really need to have in indoor settings, you have to wear a mask.

Peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed.

Well, the study claimed the Delta variant produced an unusually large viral load in more than 100 vaccinated healthcare workers with breakthrough infections.

Here's the problem.

When the peers did review it for the journal Nature,

they rejected it.

The archives of the study's page on Research Square, a pre-print server for unpublished research,

shows that this was marked reject

on July 9th and remained so at least through the evening of July 26th Eastern Daylight Time.

So when the CDC said, well, this peer-reviewed, we're using this study and that's why we're doing it, you know, science, science, science, peer-reviewed, peer-reviewed.

That had been rejected.

The reject status and the review notes were removed

by the next morning.

So the CDC sides it, and then they, what they do is they take the reject status off and all of the review notes, all of the peer reviews,

they took all of those away by mid-morning the next day and replaced it with posted,

suggesting that the paper had been accepted without any revisions.

Now a few smart people got onto Twitter and was like, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

And because of that, the notes were restored and the status was changed to revise.

It said rejected,

but then they put revised, bearing the same date, July 9th.

So

they are making it look like on July 9th, they just said revise,

when actually all the peers said reject.

Now, here's what they here's what they said the problem was.

There was a bug and a user interface error on our end.

And that's what happened.

It was just a bug.

And I know that happens all the time.

All the time, you know, where a document can be found, but one word will be changed.

You know, how many times does that happen to you, Stu?

All the time.

All the time.

All the time.

Now, the CDC director,

Rochelle Walinski, remember that's the woman.

from Pennsylvania who's got just a buttload of credibility with me.

You remember?

You know know who I'm talking about?

That's not Rochelle Walinski.

You're talking about the.

Isn't she?

Is it

the person whose gender might be questioned by them?

No, that's a different lady.

That's a different man, lady.

Man, lady.

Okay.

All right, good.

Well, then she said fully vaccinated people have just as much viral loads as the unvaccinated, making it possible for them to spread the virus to others, which is why children should wear masks in schools.

Dan Crenshaw said,

shut up.

Was that a quote?

Yeah, well, pretty much.

He said, the game changer data for CDC used for the mask mandate is from a single study from India.

The study was rejected in peer review, but the CDC used it anyway?

No.

And I would also add, I haven't seen this around

in some of the reporting on this, but India is not even using

They literally have no vaccine use in their country

that is an American vaccine.

They've been using the Russian vaccine.

They've been using an Indian vaccine.

And they've been using

AstraZeneca.

But they don't use Pfizer.

They don't use Johnson ⁇ Johnson.

And the Moderna one, they just approved like last week, which so they haven't started using it yet.

So this study was done on people who aren't even...

using the vaccines that we use here.

I mean, that is

kind of of a big detail.

This is why people don't want the vaccine.

This is not your, you can't claim science, science, science, science, science.

You can't say that and then

give something that was rejected in peer review.

I don't think there's any reason, though, that this would make...

This isn't even about vaccines.

This is about masks.

Right.

But it's about the credibility on all of it.

You know, once you lie to me about other stuff, I'm going to believe you about this.

When do I know you're telling the truth?

I do not think you should get the vaccine based on your trust of Anthony Fauci or Rochelle Walinski.

You should get the vaccine because it's been shown to work over and over and over and over again.

Sure.

So there's, but you're right.

Like, they have no credibility on this stuff.

They changed their guidance every two days.

I mean, every two days, there's a new thing that you're supposed to do that yesterday they told you you weren't supposed to do.

Or in this case, now they're restricting us more

after they said it was okay to go around and have the vaccine and do what you used to do.

Go around.

Live your life as it used to be.

See, and again, is it this dangerous that we all have to be corralled?

Is it this dangerous?

Now, listen to this.

Who is telling us that you are killing people if you walk around and you're unvaccinated and not wearing a mask?

Who's telling us that?

The United States government is telling us that and the media, right?

Sure.

Biden is all over that.

You're a killer if you're doing this.

Border officers have been releasing illegal immigrants who have tested positive for COVID-19 into the Rio Grande Valley in Texas.

That's amazing.

We didn't know this.

No one told the city of La Jolla.

This is...

the police department saying this.

No one told us that these people were possibly ill.

The border officers had been releasing releasing illegal immigrants into Catholic charities of the Rio Grande Valley, which had put them up into a hotel that they had rented out.

La Jolla is a southern city in the Texas border with Mexico.

The information we have is that everybody is staying in that hotel.

Is COVID-19 possible?

Officers say they witnessed a group of 20 to 30 people staying at the hotel, most not wearing masks.

A county judge, Richard Cortez, called on federal immigration officials to stop releasing infected migrants into our community.

In one week, border agents in the area apprehended more than 20,000 illegal immigrants.

We also know now that there was a massive cover-up at Fort Bliss, where the government made every effort to keep the extent of COVID-19 outbreak under wraps.

The allegations about the Texas base were made in a whistleblower complaint filed Wednesday

by career federal civil servants who volunteered at the Fort Bliss facility between April and June of this year.

COVID, quoting, COVID was a widespread problem among children and eventually spread to many employees, reads the complaint.

It was initially obtained by Fox.

Hundreds of children contracted COVID in the overcrowded conditions.

Adequate masks were not consistently provided to children, nor

was it consistently enforced.

Then it goes on to say how these kids were treated.

I mean, it's a horror show.

It's a horror show.

The same people who are telling us that we have to mask up, we have to change our life, we're going to kill people,

they're releasing

thousands of people, thousands, tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people that are coming across our border who have tested positive, have it, and they're releasing them all over the country.

Inexcusable.

Inexcusable in every way.

It's the same way it was inexcusable when they said the George Floyd protests were okay because racism was more of a health issue than the pandemic.

Like these are, there's no way to believe the propaganda that they put out there.

None.

So I understand why people would not want to listen to any of this stuff.

And I think, look, the good thing here is the CDC changed these recommendations.

We may see more, obviously, as you point out.

Like, these things may escalate.

But, like, has any state put in a statewide mask mandate since this?

No, the federal government is.

The federal government is something that Biden controls.

But have you flown on airlines lately?

Oh, yeah.

Multiple times.

I mean, I've never been told I was going to prison more than when I was

on an airplane.

And I don't know how much you flew

because I flew when Donald Trump was president during the pandemic as well.

And this stuff's all new with Biden.

It's all new.

Biden changed all of this stuff.

The threatening tone,

when you're eating, it's pull your mask down, take a bite, and then put your mask back up and chew.

They actually say that on the announcement

from the flight deck, which is just embarrassing.

I mean, you're treating us like children.

And the rest of America is done with it.

But I tell you, Chip Roy channeled a lot of America.

I'm going to get to that in one minute.

Rough Greens, Leslie lives in Washington State.

Really?

And you listen to us?

Do you listen in your basement and keep it a secret?

Anyway, she writes in about her dog's experience with Rough Greens.

She says, when my Rough Greens order arrived, I was excited to see what it could do for my two dogs.

They both love it.

Shiloh is a mastiff lab and can be a little picky.

Well, you can when you're a mastiff.

But no more.

Both she and Liam, our greyhound, will be seven soon, and both of them are showing signs of being more active and healthier now.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Leslie, those aren't dogs.

Those are giant wolves or possibly miniature horses.

But I'm glad that they like rough greens and that it's helping with their energy and their health.

That's exactly what it's supposed to do.

That's what it's done for Uno, my German shepherd, who is nine.

And it is a beautiful, beautiful thing to see.

Rough greens, not a dog food.

It's something you sprinkle on the dog food.

It's a supplement filled with all the things that make your dog healthier healthier and happier.

And you can get a free trial bag of rough greens for your dog just to try out, make sure that they like it and will eat it.

All you pay for is shipping.

If they eat it, then order the full bag of rough greens and watch your dog over the next couple of months.

10 seconds, station ID.

I don't know the last time

I was standing with somebody and wish I could have been there cheering them on as much as I was yesterday for Chip Roy.

He channeled exactly how many Americans are feeling when he stood up in the House of Representatives yesterday and said this.

What we're seeing at the border is an absolute travesty.

And yet my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are going to do nothing, literally nothing about that today, even as we see people spilling across the border who are clearly testing positive for COVID.

We have a hotel in La Jolla, Texas that is literally filled right now with individuals who are heavily testing positive for COVID.

These are the facts on the ground.

And I know my friend, the speaker, knows how bad it is at the border, knows how bad it is in Laredo, knows how bad it is in Del Rio, knows how bad it is in McAllen.

I've got a text here from a sheriff in a small Texas town saying, We're passing an emergency declaration tonight at city council that no illegal immigrants can be released in the city of Uvalde per the CDC guidelines of countries on their list without a negative COVID test.

And we have had our health authority write orders that give us the authority to have them government, border patrol, and immigrants quarantined for 10 to 14 days.

We have a crisis at our border, and we're playing FTSE with mask mandates in in the people's house.

I mean, it's absolutely absurd what this body is doing, the people's house.

It's an embarrassment.

It's a mockery.

And the American people are fed up.

They want to go back to life.

They want to go back to business.

They want to go back to school without their children being forced to wear masks, to be put in the corner, to have mental health issues.

And we're running around here, and the speaker comes down here at 10 o'clock in the morning saying we got to wear masks.

in the people's house while we've got thousands of people pouring across our border and Democrats don't do a darn thing about it, heavily infected with COVID.

We have the New York Times, okay, today.

What a mess.

CDC about to reverse on indoor masking for the vaccinated, quote unquote.

This is some serious nanny state stuff that will only breed resentment.

No kidding.

Consider resentment being magnified right here in the floor of the House of Representatives.

We are absolutely sick and tired of it, and so are the American people.

This sham of an institution is doing doing nothing for the American people.

Nothing for the betterment of the people that send their representatives here.

I just met this morning with an organization that tries to take care of people from human trafficking.

Met with an elected official from Mexico while cartels are raping and pillaging and killing.

And we have people infected with COVID coming across our southern border into Texas and you all put masks

Masks up front here, here on the people's house.

We got to go around and see, okay, we can't come to the floor.

I can't execute my constitutional duty unless I wear a mask.

Which is it?

Vaccines or masks?

The vaccines work or they don't work?

Do the masks work or they don't work?

I'd like to know which it is.

I'd like Dr.

Fauci to come down and answer a single question about natural immunity.

Have you been infected with a virus?

Do you have immunity?

Or are they just going to go around poking people saying you must take a vaccine?

Oh, but sorry, the vaccine doesn't work.

You must wear a mask.

This institution is a sham, and we should adjourn and shut this place down.

I got to tell you, I have to tell you, you know who that sounds like?

Charles Sumner.

That is, he was, Charles Sumner stood up and said, you're not serious about stopping slavery.

You are putting on an act every day here.

You say you care, but you don't care.

And I'm not standing for it anymore.

That is a Charles Sumner moment without the beatdown.

Thank goodness.

We are getting closer and closer to an impasse.

And

I think it's intentionally being done to us.

Be a peacemaker.

But tell the truth.

This is the Glenback Program.

The oldest young man I know is John Ziegler.

And I say that he's the oldest young man I know because he is the guy, and I bet he was this way at 15.

Get off my lawn, you punks.

John Ziegler is with us now.

Hi, John.

How are you?

You know, my wife would agree with you.

Yes.

I know.

You're an 80-year-old man and like a 30-year-old body.

I don't know what happened.

By the way, let me just say off the top here that in the spirit of Simone Biles, if this interview doesn't go well for me, I do reserve the right to quit.

And

I expect you all to call me a hero at the end of this book,

my gosh.

That's brave.

That's brave John.

Give me your thoughts on that quickly.

I just think that the culture has completely shifted in a remarkably short amount of time.

I think that it's a contagion.

I think we saw with Ozaka, and I think that when people get rewarded for failure,

they tend to go for failure more often.

I mean, it's now actually

a symbol of woke virtue to quit.

I mean, I'm not suggesting that she has no mental issues, but it's just astonishing to me the response.

It's okay that she did that, but to call her a hero and brave and a role model, it's just absurd.

And I think that there are incredible ramifications for this.

You don't think that young kids are going to look at that and quit more quickly

sometime in the future?

It's unbelievable.

It used to be that when you were brave, when you sucked it up, and you just did it.

Well, every sports movie in the history of Hollywood has just been destroyed.

Or is that going to be the future sports Hollywood movie?

The glory of at the end of the movie,

you will be glorified on Twitter for having quit.

That'll be the final scene.

Yeah, I'd like to see the pride of the Yankees, where he gets the diagnosis is like, and he just goes home and whines to his wife and quits.

It's funny.

It's funny, Glenn, but I'm a big believer, as you are.

The culture has completely shifted in a remarkable amount of time, and it's very scary, and it has incredible ramifications, especially for our kids.

I have two young daughters, and I'm very depressed about the whole thing.

Are you well, let's get to COVID quickly, because I've got a few other questions for you.

You just wrote

an article about the much-needed perspective on the rising COVID cases.

Can you give us the stuff that the media is not giving the American people?

Well, from the beginning of this, I have said that the biggest mistake, and it's probably been on purpose, that the so-called experts have made is that

they shifted the metrics, the data metrics from hospitalizations and deaths to supposed positive test results.

And we all know that the test is fraudulent.

It's not reliable.

They've admitted that themselves.

But before the vaccines, Glenn, there was at least a

semblance of rationality to that, because if you tested positive, there was about a 2% chance you were going to die.

Now, you know, that's a very bad situation.

I've never believed that that was an emergency calling for a free society to end the entire premise of our being.

But, okay, fine.

But now that the vaccines exist and over 60% of the American people are at least somewhat vaccinated, if in fact they work, as we're told that they are, and I'm in fact vaccinated, I believe that they work to at least some degree, then the entire premise of relying on new positive test results is completely absurd because there is no connection anymore, especially with this particular Delta variant, to the notion that if you get this, you are going to die.

We already know this from the United Kingdom statistics.

And the statistics regarding deaths, which is what really should matter, and hospitalizations, hospitalizations have gone up slightly.

Deaths have not gone up at all, although I do believe deaths will go up slightly in the next couple of weeks.

They are at the lowest levels they've been since the pandemic.

I don't believe they're ever going to get anywhere close to what they used to be.

The health care system is not going to get overwhelmed.

And as far as the statistics that get forgotten, Glenn, the one I like to rely on the most, and it's amazing that very few other people even focus on this, is excess deaths.

Excess deaths is a fascinating statistic because the CDC tells you every week how many people have died in comparison to how many people we would expect under normal circumstances to die.

I guarantee you that there's not 1% of the American people and probably not even less than that of the American media that could tell you that the last time that America had 110% or more deaths in any particular week compared to what was expected was February of this year.

It has been less than 110% every single week since February of this year.

Now to be clear, because I watched these stats very closely, it's not unusual in a normal week without COVID for it to be 102, 103, 97, 98.

There's a margin of error.

110 is not that big of a deal.

It's bad.

It's what I would call a sucky situation.

Not an emergency.

Suboptimally.

Right.

Right.

Right.

But it's been February since that has happened.

And that was the entire basis at the beginning of this, the whole 15 days to slow the spread, that we were going to salvage our health care system and make sure that we didn't have bodies in the streets.

That never happened.

It was never going to happen.

And it's not going to happen now if the people who are telling us we must get the vaccine actually believe in the vaccine.

And that's the most mystifying part of this whole thing because

the people that are most supposedly in favor of the vaccine don't seem to believe that they work.

I know.

I mean, that's what is the problem.

It is crazy.

It is crazy.

They missed the train.

When they said,

you know, you got to get the vaccine, oh, and you still have to wear the mask.

You're like, why would you get the vaccine then?

Why would I do that?

Well, Joe Biden lied about that.

He lied about whether or not you can get COVID while vaccinated.

And the idea that this media narrative is being formed now, that it's all unvaccinated people that are becoming testing positive is just flat out false.

There's no evidence nor logic to support that.

It's funny.

The vaccinated group seem to think that there's communities of 100% unvaccinated people that are all spreading this among themselves.

That's not the way the world works.

It's not the way we live.

I mean, it's completely absurd.

Now, I believe that I would still hope that the vaccines work, but they do not stop you.

It is now clear.

They do not stop you from getting this or testing positive.

I have two close friends who were vaccinated, just got it yesterday, and they're not feeling very well.

But this is the reality of it.

We're going to have to live with this.

The death knell of America as a free society, I believe, will be this notion that somehow we can get to zero

test results of a of a test

work.

I said this

in January of 2020,

no, 2019, when it first started.

I said, look, 2020.

Yeah, 2020.

This is going to be a part of our lives for the rest of our lives.

It's going to become like the flu.

You're never going to get rid of it.

You just minimize it as much as you can.

Well, and we have.

And unfortunately, though, Glenn, there are a lot of very powerful people who do not want this to end.

I know.

And they really do not want this to end.

And they want it to end for reasons that aren't necessarily conspiratorial or, you know,

in a room where they're all laughing, ha ha ha ha, we've taken over the world type of thing.

I mean, let's face it, I mean, these so-called health experts, their lives are much better today than they were when this began.

They don't want this to end.

If this ends, their relevance ends.

They stop getting on television.

No one cares what they have to say.

And I'll tell you, a lot of liberals really,

really love

the ability to tell other people how to look at their lives.

And I'll tell you what, a lot of them love to wear the mask, too, because it hides how ugly they are.

I mean, that's, I mean, that's.

That's okay.

All right.

So, John, let me switch the topic because I have Larry Elder coming on in just a few minutes.

What are your thoughts on Gavin Newsom and the recall and Larry Elder and the whole race?

Well, I mean, I've been one of Gavin Newsome's strongest opponents from the beginning.

My daughters, on their own, refer to him as Governor Pussom.

I've said from the beginning of this, I would give a left pinky finger for him to be recalled.

I will up that to a left testicle

because, after all, I'm married.

I don't really need both of them.

So

I am vehemently in favor of the recall.

He has made himself a king.

That is not an exaggeration.

That is a fact.

And the media here is completely in the tank for his kingdom.

Unfortunately, I do not believe that we're going to get 50%

to say yes on the recall.

So therefore,

Larry and others.

Well, there's just too many Democrats.

And this goes back to what we were talking about, Glenn.

If the media was educating people properly to the statistics and how wrong Gavin Newsom was, Gavin Newsom changed the world.

Gavin Newsom, on a lie, declared an emergency and a shutdown in California.

He was the first to do so.

He claimed that over 25 million Californians were going to get COVID in eight weeks.

That never even came remotely close to happening.

It still hasn't happened a year and a half later, not even close to that.

He was totally wrong.

It was a lie.

He knew it, or at least should have known it was a lie, and he changed the world because when California did that, every left-wing governor had to follow, and then rhino governors followed after that.

That's why we had the shutdown in America was because of Gavin Newsom.

Unfortunately, the news media has backed him every step of the way.

The average Californian has no idea that he even made that prediction, that projection, or what the stats really say.

But wait, wait, wait.

It's more than just being wrong on COVID.

He has destroyed

that state.

I mean,

what he's doing to small businesses.

I talk to people who are liberals out in California, and they're like, I can't take it.

I can't take it.

And the homeless problem, all of that, nothing is going to change 50%.

Well, when you start with, you've got to remember that Donald Trump got barely a third of the vote in this state.

I mean, so you're talking about a ridiculous level of Democrats.

Look, to me, I will say this.

There's one issue that could change it.

It is the masking of children come September, which will be just before the recall election, which I'm bracing myself for my nine-year-old daughter to be masked again this year for absolutely no reason.

Move.

Well, I've got in-laws, Glenn,

that still live here.

So that would require a divorce.

But move.

But so I don't, it's not impossible.

It is not impossible.

Newsom is still dumb enough to potentially blow this, but I have already written that I do not believe he will be recalled, and therefore it won't get to Larry.

But look, God bless Larry and good luck luck to him.

And I would, my left testicle deal is still on the table.

I'd be happy to

keep it up to get rid of Gavin Newsome in a heartbeat.

All right.

Well, I'd like to take your left testicle off of the table now so we can move on and have a normal day.

John Ziegler, it's always good to talk to you.

Thank you so much.

You bet.

Bye-bye.

All right.

It's nice to live in a country where you can do business with whomever you please as of today.

We should never lose sight of how important doing business with people that you want to do business is with, how important that is.

Because it's not just an opportunity to seek the highest level of value or the lowest amount of money.

We have a responsibility as holders of American values to seek to do business with companies who share those values.

And when they also couple that with lower prices and the highest level of value, you find a company like Patriot Mobile and you switch.

Patriot Mobile has the broadest nationwide coverage.

It uses the same cell towers as all the other major carriers, so you get the same great cell coverage.

They have plans to fit any budget.

They are cheaper.

They have a U.S.-based customer service team that has the highest rating among all wireless carriers.

And more importantly, they share your values and they support organizations fighting for religious freedom, the Constitution, the sanctity of life, veterans, first responders.

Doesn't Doesn't that sound like a company you want to do business with?

Go to patriotmobile.com/slash back.

Why haven't you switched yet?

Do it now.

PatriotMobile.com slash Beck or call 972 Patriot.

972Patriot, patriotmobile.com slash Beck.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

Larry Elder is coming on with us next.

I love Larry.

I think he is such a great communicator

and strong conservative, especially in California.

And now he's running for governor, and it looks like he may have a chance.

And

I think he would make a great governor.

Yeah, I mean, I wanted Gray Davis to be recalled back in the day as well.

And I remember there were other candidates I thought were a heck of a lot better than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

But for California, you take it and you say, hey, at least he's not a communist.

Larry, and, you know, he's.

legit.

I mean, Larry could be Ronald Reagan.

Yeah, he has been, you know, that's who he is.

I mean, he's been a guy who

has been in this movement, who understands it, who understands how to communicate, who's lived a life.

You know, he's gone through a lot of the struggles that people in California.

He grew up in South Central, did he?

Yeah, I mean, he's gone through some stuff.

Yeah.

He's overcome it.

He is not like, you know, Schwarzenegger was like, hey, I guess kind of he's better.

This would be not only a massive improvement, a miracle for California, but also the country.

I mean, California is such a big part of our economy.

And so

it does affect what happens in the rest of the country.

I mean, Larry Elder in control of California is unthinkably great.

It's not even something that I would consider possible, which is why.

I wouldn't have.

In fact, when I first heard Larry was going to run, I was like, oh, that's not going to work out well.

And then I started seeing the polls and I'm like, run, Larry, run.

I mean,

he has a real shot.

It's really 50.

It's 50-50 whether Newsom gets recalled right now.

I think the latest poll was legitimately 50 to 47.

The 50% saying keep him in, 47% say throw him out.

That's the first hurdle you have to get through in this election.

You have to get Newsom out.

But if you do that, the field is broken up a lot.

And Elder is one of the most well-known.

He's incredibly competent and smart, and he will make a good impression, I think, on

moderate Republicans and moderate Democrats, as well as conservatives.

The problem he's going to have is Eric Adams.

Eric Adams is running, and he said,

I'm no longer running against candidates.

I'm running against a movement.

All across the country, the Democratic socialists are mobilizing to stop Eric Adams.

They realize that if I'm successful, we're going to start the process of regaining control of our cities.

The left hijacked what it meant to be a progressive.

Did they?

But anyway,

he is

trying to play to that common sense Democrat who doesn't want to be a socialist.

Yeah, so Eric, you're saying that someone from that movement essentially can hurt.

Yeah,

somebody like him

can peel away the common sense Democrats from somebody like Larry Elder.

Yeah, is there someone like that in this race?

I don't know.

I don't know.

That's interesting.

That'll be interesting to watch.

I want to see, I wonder what Elder's vibe of the field is, let alone what he would do for California, because that would be incredibly positive.

Yes.

All right.

Back in just a minute with Larry Elder.

Hello, America.

This is the part of the hour where I try to entice you to listen for the next hour.

I think I only need to say three words.

Larry Elder, next.

The Glenn Beck program.

Ah, summer break is coming to an end.

That means back to the school, you know, where they're going to learn so many great things and the books that they're going to be assigned.

Your kids will hate America and each other in no time.

I'd like to suggest that they're going to get so much bad information and no real history that you can find a series of books that will actually teach these things that are good.

Good Good for America, good for them.

It'll teach why the free market is better.

I mean, and boy, that sounds dull.

Really sounds dull.

They are really good.

And

they're called the Tuttle Twins.

The host of the Larry Elder Show

and now a California gubernatorial candidate, Larry Elder.

Welcome to the program.

Glam, thank you so much for having me.

I appreciate it.

Oh, yeah.

I mean, Larry, I have to tell you, when I first saw, I just said this to Stu on air about 10 minutes ago.

When I first saw that you were running, I was like, that's not going to work out well.

Because, I mean, you could be Ronald Reagan.

But you're in California.

And then I start to see the poll numbers, and And you're ahead, almost double ahead of anybody else.

You're out raising funds for anybody else who is in the race.

And

you have a legitimate shot here.

And that would be game changing for not only California, but for all of America.

You know, Glenn, I I think it will be game changing for all of America for a number of reasons.

You know, this critical race theory, this reparation stuff, this tr stuff you were just now talking about, training white kids to believe they're oppressors, training black kids to believe that they're victims.

People in the center are sick of this.

People in the center are sick of people like this guy,

Ibram Kendi, running around saying, just being a good person, just being a not racist is not good enough.

You have to make sure that other people are not racist.

This is the kind of stuff that's sickening people in the center.

And so even people who are not Republicans are going to be, I think, buoyed by this candidacy.

And about Ronald Reagan, a number of people, Glenn, have said, well, Elder, what is your experience?

I said, what is the experience of the guy I'm running against?

Gavin Newsom.

This guy was governor of, mayor of San Francisco.

He was lieutenant governor for eight years, had eight years to think about what he would do if and when he became governor.

And for two years, we've seen a rise in crime, rising homelessness, declining quality of public schools, and the draconian way this man shut down the state while violating the mandates with the very same professionals who drafted the mandates when he was sitting at that famous French laundry restaurant, not engaging in social distancing, not wearing a mask.

Ronald Reagan came out of Hollywood he didn't spend 27 years as I have up and down the state broadcasting I'm on every major market in California from Sacramento down to San Diego I've been writing a syndicated column since April of 1998 it's carried in the largest newspaper in the valley here in LA it's carried in the largest newspaper in Orange County I've been talking about issues like crime and homelessness and the outrageous cost of living for years Ronald Reagan came out of Hollywood now he of course was a student of William F.

Buckley began reading National Review and at one time he was a left-wing guy I was never a left-wing guy.

So you could make the argument that I'm even more prepared to do this than Ronald Reagan.

Well, I will tell you this, Larry, that

Ronald Reagan

started to write radio

minutes, if you will,

just like Paul Harvey.

And that was explaining his philosophies.

And I think that really helped sharpen him and also prepare the way.

You've been doing it in a three-hour format every day.

That's right.

And I'm a native Californian, and Glenn, my dad came here in 1945, right after the war.

He worked two full-time jobs cleaning toilets.

Believe it or not, was able to save his nickels and dimes enough to have a stay-at-home mom, my stay-at-home wife, my mother, and she stayed at home until the youngest of us was in middle school.

And he saved up enough money to move uptown to South Central L.A.

We were the second black family in the neighborhood.

Now, the house is still in the family, Glenn.

I just looked up on Zillow.

It is now worth $600,000.

No one with an eighth grade dropout education could follow my father's path to the middle class here in California if he or she worked three jobs,

let alone two.

And that's because virtually every development project, every housing project in California is stopped by the environmentalists who claim it's going to have an adverse environmental impact.

That's why there's a shortage of housing in California.

That's why for the first time

in our nation's history, middle-class people, I'm talking about people making between 50 and 100K, are leaving California because they cannot get that first house.

There's a magazine called called CEO Magazine.

It's been around for 17 years.

And for 17 consecutive years out of all the states, California has been determined to be the worst state in which to do business based upon taxes, based upon regulations, based upon the anti-business attitude that this legislature and these environmentalists have foisted down the throats of the American people.

I have a regular guest on my program.

His name is Leo Haney, and he's a brilliant economist with UCLA.

Writes a lot about real estate.

He says, because of the rules and regulations that we've had now for the past 30, 40 years, the average price of a home in California is literally 50% more than it otherwise would be.

And that's why people are leaving for the very first time.

And I think I can do something about that.

So

what is the biggest problem that you see, the first thing that you would have to tackle in California?

I think the first thing I have to tackle is homelessness.

You go under a freeway overpass in L.A.

and a lot of the other cities here in California, homeless people on either side.

Now, I don't blame all of this on Gavin Newsom because it preceded him, but he hasn't done anything about it other than to, quote, build more housing, meaning more government people building housing at a far higher cost than the private sector would do without doing anything about the underlying reason why people are on the streets in the first place.

Why are they on the streets in the first place?

Well, maybe 10% of them, Glenn, we don't really know the percentage, are truly schizophrenic, meaning a danger to themselves or to others.

They literally need to be physically picked up from the streets, removed for their own safety and for the safety of the rest of the homeless population.

Some percentage of the people.

And where?

And but where?

Put in mental institutions so they can get treated.

And

another percentage of them, I don't know how many, I think it's relatively small, are people that just don't want to work.

And if you just don't want to work, either you're going to go to jail as a vagrant or you're going to get a job.

And the rest of them, probably the bulk of them, are people who have mental problems or who have drug problems.

They too need to be treated.

Now, what we've done in California,

is passed something called Proposition 47.

I think the voters were duped into doing it.

And the idea was that some people who are stealing are stealing in order to support their meth habit or their heroin habit.

And so we passed a law that says if you steal under $950,

you don't go to jail.

You're not a felon.

You've committed a misdemeanor.

You get a ticket if you get caught.

Well, what the

sheriff of L.A.

County tells me, his name is Alex Villa Nueva, one of the people that I interviewed before I got pulled off the radio because of my FCC requirement running for office, he said they've taken away our stick.

You have somebody on the street who's stealing in order to support the meth habit.

And we can't say either you dry out in jail or you dry out in rehab, one or the other, because we cannot tell them they're going to go to jail because they're not going to go to jail.

And you've seen all these videos of people literally stealing in front of people, in front of the

walking out, not running, walking out.

Now, as far as the mental illness part,

churches need to be involved in that.

Government can't solve this.

We have missions in Orange County, for example, where they're getting people off the street, trying to give them some spiritual instruction.

And that's what needs to happen.

Now, I'm not at all saying that 100% of people on the streets can somehow become computer software programmers at Apple.

I don't believe that whatsoever.

But you cannot allow people to stay on the streets.

It is a taking of public property.

It jeopardizes the health and safety of everybody.

They literally need to be removed from the street.

And housing needs to be built for low-cost, low-cost housing, low-cost apartment.

But we have no low-cost housing, no low-cost apartments because of the environmental regulations I just now mentioned.

mentioned.

So the private sector needs to be unleashed to build these kinds of things.

The religious sector needs to deal with these problems.

People need to be picked up off the street, and we need to then put them in these housing that's affordable housing built by the private sector, not by the public sector.

The other problem with just building housing, which is what Gavin Newsom and the Democrats want to do, is you haven't dealt with the underlying reason people are there in the first place.

A, B, you can't get them to get up in the in these new houses anyway.

They're not going to stay.

And C, you're inviting other people from cold weather climates to come to California where they're going to be treated with care and compassion as we should treat every human being.

We're going to get free needles and free food and I might even be able to get a free house.

So officers tell me a whole bunch of people who are living in these tents who are in Skin Row aren't even from California.

We've incentivized people from the other states to come here.

So for all those reasons, Gavin Newsom is doing nothing whatsoever.

He's not involving the churches.

One of my mentors is a guy named Pastor Jack Hibbs.

And he said, Larry, let us do it.

Let us adopt a block, adopt a street, adopt an area.

Let us get these people off.

Let us get these people the kind of instruction that they need while the private sector is building low-cost housing.

And I believe that if I do the combination of things I just now mentioned, I can eliminate this problem.

So, Larry, one of the things that I think we all learned from Donald Trump was

the system is so incredibly corrupt that there are career people that are just not, they don't care who the president is.

And they will work to thwart and destroy everything.

The people elect somebody and put them in.

They'll work to destroy that person.

How are you going to deal with

a Californian

system of

progressivism, socialism that is just bred now into the system?

It's a massive, massive problem, Glenn.

I'm not deluding myself about that.

We have supermajorities in the lower chamber of government called the Assembly, supermajorities of Democrats in the upper chamber called the Senate.

And talk about a deep state.

Particularly, we have term limits, and I know a lot of Republicans like term limits.

What it does is just strengthen the staffers and strengthen the special interest groups.

The politician comes in, knows that he or she is only going to be there for a few years, and it's given a lot more power to the so-called special interests.

What I intend to do, if I'm lucky enough to become governor, is to use a number of powers I have, even when dealing with the hostile legislature, not least of which is the ability to declare a statewide emergency.

I'm going to declare one regarding homelessness to suspend the

law that's called CEQA, the California Environmental Quality Act, that essentially allows anybody to stop anything for an indefinite period of time.

Somehow, some way, Glenn, the legislature is able to waive a CEQA for, example, the construction of the Seattle, Sacramento King Stadium for a billionaire.

They waived it for that, but they can't waive it to build low-cost housing so that these homeless people, to the extent that we can get some of them self-sufficient, can get off the ground and go to these homeless places.

Also, in education, I'm a product of the public education system.

I went to Crenshaw High School.

That was a school that was featured in the movie Boys in the Hood.

2% of kids at Crenshaw High School can do math

at state levels of proficiency.

That's not a typo, 2%.

75% of all black boys in California cannot read at state levels of proficiency, and those levels are low.

Did you say, what was that percentage?

75%.

Oh, my gosh.

50% of third graders, Glenn, cannot read at state levels of proficiency.

Now, check this out.

We have 300,000 public school teachers in California.

Every expert I talk to tells me at minimum, 5% of them are incompetent.

That's 15,000 teachers.

Any given year, you know how many are fired?

2.2 are fired.

Now imagine if we did the same thing with the LAPD.

There are 10,000 officers.

Imagine if we had 5% officers who are bad, who are corrupt, planning evidence, using excessive force, engaging in racial profiling.

We wouldn't put up with it.

But we're putting up with 15,000 bad teachers.

How about I declare a statewide emergency on education and I get rid of the minimum of the 5,000 teachers who are incompetent.

Teachers get tenure in California after just two years.

And it takes almost an act of God to get them fired.

This is outrageous.

80% of the public school kids in California are black and brown.

These are the ones that the left claims that they care about.

Gavin Newsom shut down the schools.

Again, the kids were already behind while his own kids were enjoying in-school private education.

It is outrageous.

And the teachers who know the schools the best, the ones with school-aged kids, they're not putting their own kids in public school.

Philadelphia, 44% of the teachers with school-aged kids have their own kids in private school as opposed to 10% nationwide, 6% of black families nationwide, 39% of Chicago public school teachers, school-aged kids, their own kids in private school.

Here at the L.A.

District, the public school teachers who have school-age kids are twice as likely to put their own kids in private school compared to families that don't have public school teachers.

Holy cow.

It's the equivalent, Glenn, of opening up a restaurant, putting up a sign and saying, come on in, just don't eat the food.

Yes.

Nobody that works here eats here ever.

All right, Larry Elder, more with him in just a second.

I want to tell you about our sponsor.

It's Raycon.

If you're listening to anything with earbuds, I want you to try Raycons.

I think you're going to love them.

I hate, well, I hate Apple for, oh,

multiple reasons.

You know, let's have everything made by slaves.

What do you think?

I don't think that's a really good idea.

Hey, let's overcharge.

Hey, let's never, ever supply long cords with any of our products.

You know, those kinds of things.

Their earbuds suck.

But the good news on those,

they're twice as expensive as

Raycons.

Huh?

Raycon, they don't suck.

They're really comfortable.

They don't fall out of your ears.

They're not made by slaves.

What do you say?

And half the price.

They're great on sound.

They last forever before a charge, hours and hours and hours before the charge.

And again, half the cost.

Raycon, offering 15% off all of their products.

So save an additional 15%.

Here's all we have to do.

You just have to go to buyraycon.com slash Beck.

Save 15% by doing this.

Buyraycon.com slash beck.

10 seconds, station ID.

All right.

Larry, I'm going to push back on one thing.

And

I really do believe this is the only way you're going to be able to get things done, but it makes me very, very uncomfortable.

You say I'm going to declare a statewide emergency.

That suspends all kinds of laws.

Now, I personally think a lot of those laws should be suspended.

How do you rectify that or how do you balance that in your head being a conservative that I know believes in constitutional law?

Well, this man has invoked statewide emergencies to basically shut down the state for the coronavirus pandemic.

I'm sorry.

I think this is an emergency.

I think this is an intervention.

This is damage control.

We have not built enough homes in order for young people to buy that first home.

That's why they're leaving California for the first time in our nation's history.

Crime through the roof in L.A., in San Francisco.

Can you give me some of those stats, Larry?

About

crime.

Well,

let me give you one that will be jaw-dropping.

Since the coronavirus pandemic has started, Gavin Newsom has overseen the release of 20,000 convicted felons released because of the coronavirus under early relief.

Now, what could possibly go wrong wrong when statistically the majority of criminals who are released from prison are going to reoffend?

Just a couple of days ago, Barbara Boxer gets mugged for her cell phone in Oakland.

And two days earlier, the Oakland police chief held a press conference where he complained about the defund the police movement and how many millions were being diverted from the Oakland Police Department.

I'm in Los Angeles.

The LAPD has lost $150 million from its funds for so-called youth programs.

Now, connect the dots.

Why do we need youth programs?

Because these kids do not have fathers.

Why don't they they have fathers?

Because the new Voe liberal named Lyndon Johnson launched the so-called War on Poverty in 1965.

At that point, 25% of black kids entered the world without a father married to the mother.

Today, that number is 70%.

What we've done, the left has done, is incentivize women to marry the government and incentivize men to abandon their financial and moral responsibility.

And forget about elder.

Barack Obama once said, a kid raised without a father is five times more likely to be poor and commit crime, nine times more likely to drop out of school, and 20 times times more likely to end up in jail.

So what they do is they deal with the symptoms of the problem they cause.

The symptom is a lot of young people are not working or doing all sorts of bad things.

So let's have a youth program for them.

So systemically, what the left has done is destroy the family.

They're destroying schools.

They're calling the police systemically racist.

The police are pulling back.

It's called the Ferguson effect or the George Floyd effect, and crime is going up.

We have two left-wing DAs, one in San Francisco and one in L.A., both of whom got there because George Soros funded them, and both are facing recall elections because they're not prosecuting people to the fullest.

We have cashless bail in California.

So what could possibly go wrong when you reduce the chance of a bad guy being caught, being convicted, of being put in prison, crime goes up, and the people who are hurt are the very black and brown people living in the inner city that the left claims that they care about.

So I'm going to declare a public emergency on crime, on housing, on education, and I'm going to suspend some of the rules and regulations that are stopping bad teachers from being fired, that are stopping cops from doing their jobs, and that are causing the cost of living to go so high because you cannot build anything.

One developer told me this, Glenn.

I had a 10,000 housing project.

I got sued.

I cut it down to 5,000, I got sued.

I cut it down to 1,000, I got sued.

Finally, they approved 250 houses after 22 years.

He got so fed up, he went to another city.

Another guy told me, I was giving a speech about CEQA, and I was giving some examples, and somebody yelled out, I had to spend 25 grand to get rid of the kangaroo rat.

I never heard of a kangaroo rat.

And I talked to him after the speech, and he said he was building a factory.

And as a condition of him building the factory, he had to pay $25,000 to hire an expert to find not just the kangaroo rat, but the Stevens kangaroo rat, which is a different species than the regular kangaroo rat.

So I hired this guy.

He spent all this time looking for the kangaroo rat, and the Stevens kangaroo rat didn't even exist.

And it had it existed, I would have to pay even more money to give him a new habitat.

Now, as far as I know, rats are rodents.

Who gives a rip?

But all he did was jack up the cost of this factory causing people not to work or not to work when they would have worked.

And I have story after story after story about this.

When I was in Ohio, I practiced law at a big law firm, and one of the things I did for a while was workers' compensation.

Wait,

I don't want to cut you off in the middle of this story.

So, we're going to start back there in just a second.

More with Larry Elder in just a couple of minutes.

He is running for

Yeah, me neither.

Never said that.

Never said that.

Can't imagine ever getting to a point to where you're like, I got to stop saving so much money.

we were talking business in california with larry elder and i had to interrupt him on a story that he said in ohio can you begin that story again sure i i practice law at a big law firm in ohio i did a little bit of workers compensation from the defense side representing companies that have been sued by workers.

And the burden of proof was of course on the claimant to make the claim.

I get a phone call from somebody I'm trying to get money from who runs a bunch of different restaurants in California.

And he tells me this story.

And the only reason he prevailed is because he's very, very wealthy and wasn't going to put up with it.

One of these workers claimed that he was owed $65,000 in unpaid wages.

And he found out the guy wasn't even in the state when he allegedly incurred the $65,000 in wages.

So he contested the lawsuit.

Turns out the burden of proof is on the employer to disprove the claim.

Oh, my God.

That's why so many employers just settle.

And after a while, they offered to settle for $50,000.

He said no.

$25,000, he said no.

$5,000, he said no.

Went all the way to court, spent way more money than the $65,000 that this employee was claiming.

But it was the principle of the thing, A, and B, he felt that if he is perceived as somebody who can roll over like that, there'll be other lawyers coming after him for other bogus kinds of claims.

But the point is the burden of proof is on the employer to disprove the claim.

What the hell is that, Glenn?

So tell me, talk to me a little bit about, you know, I know big business, a lot of them are moving out of California and they're coming to Texas.

And I swear to if these people, California, my Texas, I'm going to be really pissed.

But

you can't do business there.

But there are so many small business owners that are just dying, just dying because of the COVID restrictions.

And

it is a hostile environment.

What is the name of that restaurant?

Pineapple Hill.

Yeah, Cronies.

Pineapple Hill.

Pineapple Hill.

No, it's Cronies Restaurant.

They are being boxed by their little community,

their little city council,

and not and just being forced out of business because

they didn't do everything that little city council said they had to do to stay safe.

Well, they couldn't and keep people employed and keep their restaurant.

Right.

I mean,

what is happening for the

small business owner?

Because that's the backbone of society.

They're being slaughtered.

And Glenn, I'm not just a lawyer.

I also ran a small business for 14 years.

At my peak, I had about a dozen employees, and it didn't go bankrupt.

I didn't liquidate it.

When I relocated back to California from Ohio, I sold it and it kept going on for a number of years.

My point is, most small businesses fail, and those who succeed operate on very thin margins, often from payroll to payroll.

So this guy shut down all businesses in California.

We're still getting our hands around how many ended up in bankruptcy because the bankruptcy courts are just now reopening and are processing the claims.

All I know is that the average state, two-thirds of jobs have been restored.

Here in California, only 50% of jobs have been destroyed.

How many lives were destroyed by this man who, by the way, excuse me,

kept his own winery open while telling other businesses to shut down?

This is why one guy told me he's a tire guy.

He buys

big tire factories, outlets.

He wanted to build another one out here, start another shop out here.

And he said, I got sick and tired of all the regulations.

He goes to Texas.

Literally, he was able to open one within a matter of weeks.

He'd been in litigation for months trying to open one here in California.

Very

ivory.

It took me two years to build a radio studio in New York City.

I built the studios here in Texas in two weeks.

I I hear story after story after story like that.

This is a magazine called CEO Magazine.

It's been around 17 years.

And based upon taxes, based upon regulations, based upon the power of the public sector unions, unfunded pension liability, the degree to which the business climate is friendly or unfriendly, CEO Magazine, for 17 years of existence, has rated California the worst state in which to do business for 17 consecutive years.

It is absolutely outrageous.

And that is why, again, middle-class jobs, people making between $50,000 and 100,000 K, are leaving California for the first time in our nation's history.

Can I say one more thing about the

school system?

Yeah.

The largest contributor to Gavin Newsom is the California Teachers Association.

The largest affiliate is the LA affiliate called the United Teachers of Los Angeles.

They, of course, shut down schools while the teachers still continue to get paid.

And as a condition for reopening, they made some demands.

Two of the demands were single-payer health care and defund the police.

What those two things had to do with education is beyond me.

This is the kind of crap that people are putting up with.

And I gave an interview to a black newspaper in Sacramento called the Sacramento Observer.

I walk in, Glenn, and I can just tell by their body language, okay, this guy's an Uncle Tom.

He's a sellout.

He's a Republican.

And I said, aren't you sick?

Aren't you sick and tired of a school system where 75% of black boys cannot read at state levels of proficiency?

Aren't you sick of these rich white liberals like Rob Reiner, who some years ago stopped a housing development called Amundsen Ranch?

It was in Ventura County adjacent to LA.

9,000 units.

It was on pristine land.

I'll give you that.

But unless Rob Reiner lives on a houseboat, wherever he lives at one time was pristine too.

So he stops the project.

Ten years later, they celebrated high fives.

I read the article about the celebration.

Not one mention about the fact that 9,000 housing units didn't get built.

Now everything is a trade-off.

And I said, don't you see the connection between these rich, elite white people who are Democrats and the fact that you can't get housing here?

And one of the reporters told me before the interview started he tried to buy a house couldn't afford it I said connect the dots and you sit there and you vote year after year after year for Democrats that don't give you choice in school even though black and brown parents based upon the polls say they want it that are causing the housing cost of housing to go through the roof even though you're trying to get that first house and I'm the bad guy I'm the Uncle Tom I said think it through and now Glenn I'm not saying all of a sudden because of that they became Reagan Republicans

I know that all of a sudden they were beginning to rethink some of their assumptions and that's why I believe they're so afraid of me.

I'm from the hood.

I'm from Crenshaw High School.

I can talk about the connection between what these liberal people that belong, say, to the ACLU, most inner city people, from what I can tell, I haven't seen any polling data, want gang injunctions.

And every time there's a gang injunction filed, the ACLU files a lawsuit to either trim it or get rid of it.

Crime goes up, again, for the very people in the inner city that people like that claim that they care about.

Tupac Shakura once said, we need the police more than anybody else because of all the criminal element that's right there.

I said, who's on your side?

Larry Odin, the Uncle Tom, or people in the ACLU who aren't concerned about crime at all because they're living up in the hills.

They have private security and they have guns.

And I just asked you to rethink some of your assumptions.

And I can just tell that for the first time they're hearing stuff they never heard before.

And unlike the typical Republican here in California, I can talk to black and brown people about what the left is doing to them in ways more effectively than I think the typical Republican can.

I will tell you, Larry, I think it is going to take a black man or a black woman to turn us around because you are the only ones that can really break through with any kind of credibility.

And it takes somebody who is not a bomb thrower and is eloquent enough to be able to get people to rethink their assumptions.

Larry, I wish you the best and we'd love to have you on again.

Could I ask you,

how does this work?

I mean, you go in and you say, I want him recalled or I don't want him recalled.

And then if you say, I want him recalled,

you can vote then on who you want to replace?

No, it's real simple.

There are two questions on the ballot, and that's it.

Do you want Gavin Newsom replaced?

And if 50% plus one says yes, the second question is, who do you want to replace him?

Now, you won't know the 50% plus one until they, of course, count the ballots.

But you can either vote to replace him or not vote to replace him, and you can vote for somebody to replace him or not vote for somebody to replace him.

So 50% plus one has to vote to recall him and then whoever gets the greatest number of votes to replace him will win.

So it's conceivable that I could win with 20-25% or so of the vote altogether.

And that's why this is so unusual.

And it's on September the 14th, but the ballots go out.

It's going to be almost all mail-in.

The ballots go out on August the 14th.

So come September the 14th when the election actually takes place.

It's almost going to be anticlimactic because by then most people will have voted.

And that's why I need money.

Believe it or not, I have a campaign campaign expenditure limit of $9 million.

If something I can raise that amount of money, and I will.

He can raise and spend an unlimited amount of money, and most people speculate he'll spend at least $50 million trying to defeat me.

Good heavens.

How come you have the restraint and he doesn't?

That's a very good question.

I think that's a legitimate question for us to litigate in the courts.

But that's exactly the way it is.

I have restraints.

He does not.

And it gives him a huge message.

It makes no sense.

Makes no no sense.

It gives him a huge.

And when it was clear I was going to run Glenn, all of a sudden the SEIU union gave this guy $5 million.

And again, the number one contributor to him is a teachers' union.

And

I'm not dissing teachers.

40% of the teachers feel the way you and I feel.

They want choice.

They want merit pay.

Really good teachers ought to be paid way more than the bad teachers ought to be paid.

And the person that hates bad teachers more than anybody else are good teachers.

But the unions are the ones that give all this money to left-wing causes and left-wing politicians just like Gavin Newsom.

So the power of the teachers' union needs to be broken.

The power of the public sector unions need to be broken.

Allah, what Scott Walker did.

Recall that?

He had to face a recall election.

They gave him death threats.

They trashed his house.

They trashed the capital.

But he got it done.

He restricted the unions to only bargaining over wages, not on benefits, not on discipline.

He got them to no longer get automatic deduction for dues.

And if you got a raise above inflation, you had to go to the voters to get approved.

And he made them contribute to their health and retirement plans for the first time.

I need to do something very similar to what Scott Walker has done to break the power of the public sector unions in California.

And believe me, they will come after me with both barrels.

Oh, yeah.

They are vicious.

They are vicious.

No,

I worry and will begin to pray for your security, Larry,

and

for a shield of protection over you.

You can go to ElectElder, electelder.com.

Newsom has a war chest already going into it of 30 million.

They believe that it's a $30 million war chest already.

Already.

And you know, if Larry is the guy, they are going to do everything they can.

They're raising money.

Just Larry's raising money for them.

Can we get Larry to raise money for Larry?

It would be nice to have Larry Elder as governor and you can help.

Everybody always says, what can I do to help?

What can I can't do anything to help?

How about five bucks, $10, $100, anything that you have?

He could win with 20%.

ElectElder.com.

ElectElder.com.

Larry, thank you so much.

I hope to talk to you again.

God bless.

Anytime, Lynn, you know where to find me.

You got it.

Thanks, man.

Bye-bye.

Wow.

That would change a lot of things.

Game changer.

And it's possible.

I mean, the real question is, will they throw Newsom out?

But

I want to give you some polling numbers because I know you left polling numbers.

I do.

And you'll be able to look through them and go, ah, because I've done that.

So I'd like to hear your reaction.

Let me go to our sponsor this half hour.

I don't know about you, but my default setting on whenever I grill out is not paying attention.

You know, starts out great.

You're like, oh, man, we got some great stakes.

I'm going to go out there.

And then, you know, halfway through, it's like, can somebody call the fire department?

Because it's, I just, I lose attention.

And, and I don't know how, you know, everybody's like, no, see, you feel here in your hand, and that's medium rare.

And that's rare.

And that's well done.

Okay.

I, it does, it all feels the same to me.

I don't know what you're even talking about.

Anyway, RekTech.

Now that I have a RekTech, I can smoke, I can grill, you can even bake in RekTech.

And they come out perfect every time because they have smart grill technology.

I want you to go to rechtech.com right now, re-e-c-te-e-q.com, and A-B compare.

If you are in the market for a grill or a smoker or anything,

outdoor cooking, you need to look at a RekTech.

You will never find one that is built better.

I think this is the best on the market, no matter the price.

It's RekTech, R-E-C-T-E-Q.com, RekTech.com.

You are listening to the Glenn Beck program.

Yeah, hello, you sick freak.

I have to tell you that Larry Elder interview and the possibility of him being governor of Texas has given me real hope for the first time in a long time.

I mean, it would be shocking to him that he's running for governor of Texas.

I'm not governor of Texas.

Sorry, governor of California.

Yeah.

Governor of California.

Yeah, that is.

I was just thinking it would be like Texas.

Yeah, it's a real conservative.

And like, it's a a way, there's an actual path here because Newsom could lose this.

And if he does, Newsom only needs to get 25%.

May I give you the stats here?

As Larry was saying,

the war chest already for Gavin Newsom is $30 million.

And that's coming from labor unions, law firms, tech executives, and Native American tribes.

Okay.

So he's got $30 million.

Larry can only raise $9 million and is trying to raise $9 million.

That just seems crazy.

But here's, that's the advantage that Gavin Newsom has, is money.

But I don't believe you can buy an election.

What Larry has in his favors, in his favor, is Republicans represent a quarter of the overall electorate, but comprise a third of the most likely voters.

While Democrats and no party preference registrants are disproportionately less likely to vote.

So the passion is on the right.

Listen to this.

87% of Republicans express the highest level of interest in the election versus little over half of Democrats and Independents.

Democrats expect Newsom to prevail by 70 to 8%.

So Democrats think he's going to hold on to this.

Yeah.

And maybe that's they're not

motivated to go in

and they also think he's going to win.

And if that happens, somebody like Larry Elder could win this thing, especially if Newsom.

I mean, Newsom is going to open up the schools before this thing.

He'll open them up.

He'll close them right after.

He'll be like, you know what?

It was just getting too dangerous for the teachers.

But

he'll do whatever he has to do, I think, to win.

But

I think that's good news.

The enthusiasm gap.

That's a huge gap, isn't it, Stu?

I know you really watch polls.

Yeah.

No, that is a huge gap.

I mean, it's similar to what we saw, for example, in the it's like a reverse Trump election.

The people on the right literally can't stand

Gavin Newsom in California.

It's also like a Hillary Clinton.

But I was going to say, on the opposite side of this, in the Trump election, you had people who were really passionate for Trump versus people who really hated Trump.

Joe Biden had nothing to do with that election at all.

In California, it's people who really hate Gavin Newsom versus people who are like, eh, Gavin Newsom.

And that, so that could be the type of thing that it's Hillary Clinton.

Yeah.

Because there were people that were very excited about Donald Trump and then people who hated Hillary Clinton, but her core was like, eh.

Yeah, they didn't love her.

They didn't love her.

And that's how they feel about Gavin Newsome.

Like, I mean, I think they.

This could be a game changer.

A game changer.

Huge.

Yeah.

And really possible.

I mean, look, the polls are tight on Newsom being recalled.

And if he gets recalled, Elder is the frontrunner.

ElectElder.com.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

Hello, America, and welcome to the Glen Beck program.

In 60 seconds, I'm going to lay out something that will show you, if you're paying attention,

how dire the situation is, how close we are to truly losing freedom in every respect.

We are very, very close.

Remember when I said bridge is out?

No, no, no, no.

The bridge has been restored, except it takes us to a different place, and we're about to cross that threshold.

I'll explain in 60 seconds.

The Glenn Beck program.

I don't know if you've heard the good news or not, but the Democrats have proposed another $5 trillion reconciliation and social reform bill.

Isn't that?

Isn't that,

oh my gosh, that's going to be good.

Now, unsurprisingly, people like Jeffrey Gunlock, who is the CEO of Double Line Capital, just reiterated his position that the U.S.

dollar is doomed.

Let me say it this way: the U.S.

dollar is doomed.

Yeah.

It's not a a question of if it's a question of when we cannot do this we can't keep spending our way out by the way did you see the fed yesterday uh came out and said you know just because we said it was transitory inflation doesn't mean it will go back down

wait what

yes it does what are you talking about science science science unbelievable gold line right now is giving away free silver with their extremely popular $5 gold Indian coins with every qualifying order.

You're going to receive 10 brilliant uncirculated silver Kennedy half dollars at no additional cost.

I love these because they remind me of my grandfather.

Every time we would come and stay with him or I'd, you know, go out, he'd always take a silver dollar at Kennedy on the front and he'd hand it to me.

And you keep this.

Fortunately, I didn't listen to my grandfather on that because I don't have any of them left, but I love them.

Anyway, this is a great special on an already low-cost item.

If you're thinking about gold or silver, this is a perfect promotion for you.

They're standing by to take your call.

Call 866Goldline.

866GoldLine or Goldline.com.

All right.

What is this January 6th hearing really all about?

Okay.

You think that it is about,

you know, getting these bad guys and duping the American people thinking that it's these white Trump supporters that are the biggest enemy

of all mankind.

Okay, that is one of the goals.

But it is much deeper than that.

And I have not read these things anywhere.

Thanks to members of the Blaze who pay everybody's salary, we have a good staff of researchers that tie all of these things together.

And I want to show you what I showed you on TV last night.

And this, you can watch it all, see all of the documents on last night's Blaze TV Wednesday night special.

I urge you to watch it.

And if you're not a Blaze subscriber, may I ask you, please, we all need to stick together, we all need to hang together, or we'll hang separately.

You will see by the end of what I'm going to share with you, you will understand

we are running out of time.

All right,

U.S.

Capitol Police.

Did you know the U.S.

Capitol Police are setting up regional offices in Florida and California?

And they may be setting up regional offices all around the country.

We move in the Capitol?

No.

No, they say it's necessary to investigate threats to members of Congress.

I thought that's what the 56 field offices of the FBI were supposed to do.

But apparently, we need Capitol Police.

I mean, if this is starting to sound like the hunger Hunger Games,

police force from the Capitol, that's Capitol City Police.

The U.S.

Capitol Police say threats against members of Congress have more than doubled so far this year compared with 2020.

The Capitol Police are also buying more police armor, surveillance, and rioting gear, and it is now training personnel with the National Guard in Seattle and Virginia Beach.

It's seeking $107 million in budget increases.

$107 million in a budget increase.

Now, remember, the Capitol Police, in January, the Washington Post said that the U.S.

Capitol Police already have a big budget with, quote, little accountability.

Last month, the Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin approved a request to loan the Capitol Police eight what what are called persistent surveillance systems ground units.

Now, the Army is going to install these and train the Capitol Police to operate them.

They capture high-definition video, have night vision to, quote, enhance the ability to detect and monitor threat activity.

Now, if it was cameras, I'd think, don't we already have cameras?

No, this is military grade.

Let me share with you the problem with these these base stations.

In June, a federal appeals court found that the Baltimore Police Department are using similar but not military-grade surveillance technology, and they found that it violates the Fourth Amendment protection against unreasonable search and seizure.

Why?

Because an independent study of the Baltimore police system found the technology allowed police to track people for multiple days.

So if you go to Washington, the Capitol Police will be able to track you for days.

Now, we're not going to know how the U.S.

Capitol Police are going to use the surveillance system on loan from the military, because the other great thing about the Capitol Police is they are free and exempt from the Freedom of Information Act because it's part of the legislative branch.

So this is Nancy Pelosi's police force

and they are giving them a buttload of more money and we can't FOIA anything about them.

How do you feel good?

You feel good?

Because I feel good already.

I don't know if this is going to make you feel any better.

Capitol Police press release just said throughout the last six months, the United States Capitol Police has been working around the clock with our congressional stakeholders to pivot toward an intelligence-based protective agency.

So now the Capitol Police are going to pivot and become like the CIA.

Oh,

okay.

All right.

Last night I went over the national strategy for countering domestic terrorism.

And if you haven't seen it,

you're normal.

The media has really just rubber stamped this and moved on.

But it is a massive transformation of national security policy.

First of all, in it, in the strategy report, and I want to quote, domestic terrorist attacks in the United States have been committed frequently by those

opposing our government institutions.

Now, frequently.

What does that mean, Stu?

Frequently.

Something has been happening frequently.

Often?

Often.

Okay.

All right.

And attacks in the United States have been committed frequently by those opposing our government institutions.

Name some.

January 6th.

January 6th.

Let me listen.

Domestic terrorist attacks in the United States have been committed frequently by those opposing our government institutions.

Gretchen Whitmer.

They were trying to kidnap her.

I remember hearing about that.

Okay.

You've already been well-trained.

You really have.

Look at that.

Antifa, Portland, Minneapolis.

What are they saying?

They're all trying to destroy.

Chaz in Seattle.

We don't recognize this as the part of the United States of America.

My understanding, though, those attacks are okay.

Well, let me just say,

that's why I was asking you

for those, because if you're being honest, you include those.

Of course.

You start with January 6th and you go back and you include all those.

But unfortunately, the White House only mentions four events.

The 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Okay.

The killing of five Dallas police officers in 2016.

Which was after a BLM.

BLM.

Okay.

And the person that did it was a BLM protester.

And then the shooting of four people at the Republican congressional baseball practice in 2017.

Okay, yeah, sure.

Okay.

Again, a Democrat.

And the January 6th Capitol riot.

Those are the four.

Now, that's not frequently.

That's not frequently.

It's not frequently.

It's too much, but it's not frequently when you have to go back to 1995.

But it was nice that they're including some Democrats.

I'm surprised because when they always say this is the worst thing since the Civil War, January 6th, it's not even the worst thing since 2017.

No, it's not.

I mean, the 2017, obviously, you can go back to the

Oklahoma City, or you can even go back to the George Floyd riots and all that other things and make arguments.

But like, when you're talking about actual threats to our democracy, a Bernie Sanders supporter tried to kill 10% of elected Republicans.

Yeah.

That was a bad day.

That was a really bad day.

Suboptimal.

Suboptimal.

That's a good word for it.

Yeah.

Okay.

Now,

what they're doing is they're conflating actual terrorism, the 95 Oklahoma City bombing, with hate crime events and with the January 6th Capitol riot.

The White House says, now listen to this, this is really important.

Domestic terrorism is both persistent

and evolving,

which means if domestic terrorism is evolving,

So will the definition of terrorism.

When we thought of terrorism, we thought the words radical Islam, jihad,

one crick, crazy, whacked out, live in the middle of the woods guy coming down and blowing something up.

That's terrorism.

No, because it's constantly evolving.

And if they meant that kind of terrorism, they would have mentioned radical Islam or jihad.

But they didn't.

Nowhere in this report is any kind of Islamic terror mentioned, even though just last year, not 1995, last year there were multiple federal indictments of people for providing material support to ISIS and Hamas.

Again, from the White House strategy.

Among that wide range of animating ideologies, racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists, principally those who promote the superiority of the white race, and the militia violent extremists that are assessed as presenting the the most persistent and lethal threats.

Okay, I want to make it really clear.

They're white supremacist, Nazis.

I hate them.

I hate them.

Who doesn't?

Except them.

And how many are there?

Really?

You're a white supremacist.

You're just as much as a moron as Ibram X.

Kendi.

Sorry.

You're both supremacist.

One is a white supremacist.

One is a black supremacist.

You're both morons.

And I know it's not popular to say, but I will to my dying breath say all men are created equal.

All men.

I don't care what your skin color is.

In fact, we should stop listening to people who say we should judge a man on his skin color.

Okay, so the strategy doesn't define racism, doesn't define bigotry, but

they cannot and will not ignore the dynamics of racism and bigotry that perpetuate the domestic terrorism threat.

So, what are they going to do about it?

What are they going to do?

Well,

they've already set something up in the Pentagon.

I don't know if you know this, the senior advisor to Secretary of Defense for Diversity and Inclusion, it's a new role, is Bishop Garrison.

And he's going to make sure that the

military is, you know, gets rid of all racism.

Now, this is what he said when he tweeted in 2019.

I mean, how old were you way back then?

He said, if you support Donald Trump, support for him, a racist, is support for all of his beliefs.

He's dragging a lot of bad actors, misogynists, extremists, and other racists, out in the light, normalizing their actions.

If you support the president, you support that.

And there's no room for nuance with this.

There's no more, yeah, but I'm not like that kind of talk.

So if you're in the military and you supported or support Donald Trump, Bishop Garrison, the new senior advisor to the Secretary of Defense for Diversity and Inclusion, says that you are a racist.

Okay.

All right.

So now he was given the job in a working group in the Pentagon to make the, he's the

point of contact for the countering extremism working group

and he's coming up with the definition of prohibited extremist activities among uniformed military personnel

and on gray areas such as reading following and liking extremist material and content in social media forums and platforms he's coming up with what those things are So it's kind of a thought police kind of thing.

What exactly does the Pentagon consider extremist?

Well, we don't know for sure, but there is a memo that has just come out, new category called Patriot Extremism.

The memo says, this ideology holds that the U.S.

government has become corrupt, absolutely has, has overstepped its constitutional boundaries,

yep.

or is no longer capable of protecting the people against foreign threats.

That one is the only one that I'm kind of like, well, maybe.

I mean, he hasn't completely sold us bound and chained to China,

but he is releasing the spies.

Well, that kind of thinking is just a normal Tuesday for half of the nation, or maybe more.

But by this new standard of quote, patriot extremism,

half the country is an extremist.

And that is the point:

to redefine extremism,

terrorist,

and terrorism.

All right, I started with the Capitol Police.

All right.

Let me show you how the strategy is already playing out.

This is not something they're proposing and thinking of doing.

They're already doing this.

I'll show that to you next.

If you've been listening to me for quite a while now, you know,

if you get

any kind of value of anything that I talk about, please consider this.

Get the most out of your sleep.

We've been talking about Mike Lindell and his products for a while.

And I have to tell you honestly, I don't take clients that I don't believe in.

Everything you are seeing, in fact, I've reached out to an old friend of mine who is one of the best scholars on Woodrow Wilson because I think everything that Biden is doing, I think Woodrow Wilson has done.

And history is not,

you know, they always say history repeats itself.

No, history is repeating itself right now.

And this time, we are sound asleep without war.

Without war.

When Woodrow Wilson got into office, he formed something called the American Protective League.

By the end of the war in 1918, he had 250,000 badge-wearing members across the country.

Their job was to spy and intimidate, read their neighbors' mail, and listen in on their phone calls in an effort to root out the enemy.

The government, along with these 250 badge-wearing members, they had as many as 2 million business people

also doing the same thing as volunteers.

They arrested 175,000 Americans for criticizing the war.

That's it.

Now, let me ask you,

could that happen again?

Yes, it could.

Could it?

It is.

It is

happening again.

We told you about, what, in April?

Last spring when Yahoo News reported on a secret program run by the law enforcement section of the U.S.

Postal Service, it's called ICOP.

And they search through social media posts of Americans looking for inflammatory posts.

Then, when they find somebody that they think is radical, they pass it to the Department of Homeland Security.

And they're mainly interested, and this is a quote, in right-leaning parlor and telegram accounts, end quote.

This is the postal service.

But wait, there's more.

This is the Glennbach program.

Life is busy.

Opportunities to do what you want to do.

Don't wait around just because you've got pain today.

If you're somebody who lives with pain, moderate or severe, I'm sure you know exactly what I mean.

I do not not want to miss my life because I'm in pain and I just don't feel well enough to do it.

The pain in our bodies that we deal with day to day, most of it is caused by inflammation in our joints.

I went through years of inflammatory pain in my hands.

It was one of the worst things I've ever gone through.

I couldn't write.

I couldn't do anything.

I couldn't paint.

Now,

I mean, look, I'm painting up a storm.

That is all thanks to Relief Factor.

I want you to call 800-500-8384.

800-500-8384.

It's relief factor.com.

It's not a drug, but developed by doctors.

70% of the people who try it go on to order more month after month.

The only reason why you do that is because it works.

Relief Factor, just try it for three weeks and see if it'll work for you.

ReliefFactor.com or 800-500-8384.

Glenn went through all this stuff with all the documents and everything.

You can watch it on last night's Glenn TV program available on demand at blazetv.com slash Glenn.

The promo code is Glenn.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

So, Glenn, I'm looking for an update here from you on a big story that was breaking yesterday that

you're trying to get to the White House strategy on how we're all screwed.

Yeah.

And that's something we can get to after after we hear the update on how you're feeling about your art show.

You're such a jerk.

Well, you said you were like.

I was ready to vomit yesterday.

It's got to be closer today.

You're a day closer today.

You're a day closer, and I'm very vomitous.

Very vomitous.

You could vomit at any moment.

I could vomit at any moment, and I hope I could vomit on you.

So what's your biggest fear here?

Is it that people won't show up?

Is it that people won't buy it?

Is that people come in and they do show up, but they laugh at your hard work?

What is the thing that most

of all of those?

Thank you very much.

Could you hear them?

No, describe how you do it.

If you'd like to go to the art show, it's up at Park City, at ParkCity Fine Art.

You can find them at parkcityfineart.com and get all the details.

By the way, you can come up and

see the art, and there's also affordable art really for everybody.

I believe.

I believe.

I think

we're supposed to have limited editions and

some copies uh of the of the work uh that we will be selling on saturday uh and you can call the uh park city fine art for more information if you want okay can i get back to business now

listen to this in the white house strategy remember all of this stuff is already going on The Department of Treasury, in coordination with law enforcement and other interagency partners,

is exploring ways to enhance the identification and analysis of financial activity associated with domestic terrorists.

How do we define domestic terrorists?

We can't.

It's always evolving.

Remember, it's always evolving.

As well as enhancing engagement with financial institutions on domestic terror financing through existing provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act.

So if you are deemed a danger or a domestic terrorist,

they can cut you off.

They're working with the banks to stop your financing.

Okay?

The White House doesn't say exactly how the government is going to use the Treasury Department to spy on Americans in its war on domestic terrorism, but we have some context clues.

Earlier this month, As we talked to Tom Fitton yesterday and found out, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit against the FBI to view records of communication between the FBI and several banks.

Bank of America reportedly gave the FBI financial records of customers who made transactions in Washington, D.C.

on January 5th and 6th.

Normally, you need a subpoena to do that.

Here's a guy.

We think he was involved.

Can you get us the records to prove that he was there?

Yada, yada.

That wasn't this.

Give us everybody who was at a cash machine or spent any money on the three days around January 6th.

That's unheard of.

Yeah.

That's such a wide net.

Exactly right.

Exactly right.

So they are not getting, they're not getting any information, even though we have FOIA.

But remember, the Capitol Police can't get a Freedom of Information Act request because they're from the legislative branch.

So this is Nancy Pelosi's force.

Judicial Watch complied when the FBI said, you know, we need more specifics.

What exactly are you looking for?

And then they said, ah, what you guys did about January 6th.

They will neither confirm nor deny the existence of any such records.

That's how your government is responding to

a redress.

I would like you to give us the answers.

That's constitutional.

You have a right to do that.

Nope.

Last month, Wells Fargo shut down the bank account of Lauren Witzke, who ran for U.S.

Senate in 2020 as Delaware's Republican candidate.

Now, you may disagree with her.

I don't really know much about her.

She seems a little loopy, but

you don't have to agree with people.

And there's going to be a lot of people that say crazy things.

Well, she was in Florida, and they decided to shut down her bank account.

Wells Fargo did.

And they said they just did it for business reasons.

What business reasons?

You just shut me out.

I'm in Florida.

I have no credit card.

I have nothing.

I can't get back home.

My credit in my account says zero.

What do you mean you shut me down?

In June, as you know, somebody at the IRS leaked 15 years' worth of tax returns

of thousands of Americans who are really wealthy to ProPublica.

It's a non-profit investigative news outlet.

The IRS says it's investigating the leak.

Okay, wait a minute.

What?

What?

They just leaked all this.

The press printed it.

It's all secret stuff, never supposed to be exposed.

And you're like, yeah, we're looking into it.

And at the same time, in this bill that Biden is trying to get passed,

the new spending bill, there's $80 billion of a budget raise for the IRS.

$80 billion.

So you know, the budget for 2021 is $11.9 billion.

This will increase their budget by one-third.

What are they going to do with it?

They want more auditors.

Who do you think they're going to be shaking down?

The IRS is now going to be weaponized once again.

These are the things that they are doing.

You know that they are doing all of these things.

Let me give you one of the other pillars.

By the way, watch all of this and you'll see all of the documents, all of the quotes.

This is nothing that

is a theory.

This is the fact.

This is what they're doing in their own words.

If you don't believe me, go to whitehouse.cov and just look for White House's national strategy for countering domestic terrorism.

How do we define domestic terrorism again?

It's always evolving.

Yeah, okay, that's right.

That's right.

Okay.

So one of their pillars is to understand and share domestic terrorism-related information.

This one they are working

with high-tech.

Now, as soon as they release this, it's interesting,

Facebook began doing something else.

They began, if you were on Facebook, you might have received one.

A rewarding extremist content.

If you go on to certain Facebook or you, you know, just click on something, you might get extremist

content.

And then it asks, are you concerned someone you know is becoming an extremist?

What, but, what, big brother, what are you doing?

Then, another message from Facebook.

You may have been exposed to harmful extremist content recently.

Violent groups try to manipulate your anger and disappointment.

You can take action now to protect yourself and others.

To protect myself from what?

Thought crime prosecution?

I mean, desperate people do desperate things.

Desperate people are used and

manipulated online.

And a lot of them are manipulated online by people who are seeking power

in the different parties or Facebook.

And don't talk to me about manipulating people because that's what your algorithm does.

Now the Democratic National Committee planning to work with SMS carriers to dispel information about COVID vaccines.

Are they reading our messages?

If you're an unvaccinated right-winger, To many on the left, you're a threat to national security that should be locked out of public places.

Now the U.S.

Surgeon General didn't go that far, but how long is it going to be before the Surgeon General has a warning label on things that I believe or things that you believe?

How do they define misinformation?

See, can we play the Nancy Pelosi audio from yesterday?

Listen to this.

On science.

Just to clarify something from earlier,

is Kevin McCarthy a moron, and if so, why?

I said earlier in my comment: science, science, science, and science.

On almost every subject that you can name, science is the answer, whether it's the climate crisis, whether it's a health crisis,

whether it's our preeminence in the world in technology, science, science, science, science.

To say that wearing a mask is not based on science, I think,

is not.

stop.

It's not based on science.

It's based on somebody's opinion who happens to be a scientist today

because you've changed it over and over and over again.

If we're going to listen to science, do we have to listen to science?

You know, I don't mind listening to science when they say butter is bad for you.

And then 10 years later, they're like, you know, butter has some good things.

Okay.

This is like every other week they're flip-flopping.

That's not science.

That's an opinion.

And that's misinformation.

Me saying that will be deemed at some point, if not now, misinformation and dangerous.

The National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.

How do we define domestic terrorism?

It's always evolving.

It's always evolving.

Okay, good.

This is from the White House.

Their next pillar is clear consequences for accounts that repeatedly violate platform policies.

Okay.

All right.

Now here's the thing.

They want to prevent individuals from being drawn into the grip of domestic terrorism in the first place.

So they're going to punish you if you are part of misinformation.

But they also, if you've been exposed to misinformation, they want to make sure that they are there.

Like clockwork.

After the strategy was released, the FBI posted a curious tweet saying, Family members and peers are often best positioned to witness signs of mobilization to violence, help prevent homegrown violent extremism.

Visit this link to learn how to spot

suspicious behaviors and report them to the FBI.

Oh, I don't know.

That's a little George Orwell.

Especially when they're taking over our schools.

Let me just quote from 1984.

The children were systematically turned against their parents and taught to spy on them and report their deviations.

The family had become, in effect, an extension of the thought police.

It was a device by means of which everyone could be surrounded night and day by informers.

who knew him intimately.

Let me give you this comparison here, Little Nugget from the White House strategy.

Even as we augment our approach to domestic terrorism under existing authorities, the Department of Justice is examining carefully what new authorities might be necessary and appropriate.

New authorities?

Well, we already have the Postal Service doing intelligence operations.

We have the White House senior staff flagging people's Facebook posts.

We have the FBI urging family members and peers to report on each other.

Do you see the apparatus that they have built?

It's not building.

It's built.

It's here.

I'm going to give you a solution

right after the commercial break.

And please hear me on this solution.

Life Lock,

brilliant idea the other day I had.

You're going to love this one.

What if criminals got to vote on cyber criminals?

Then they'd only be able to steal our identity and money if we were, you know, silly enough to keep electing them to the office of cyber criminal.

How could this possibly fail?

We're already electing criminals.

Why don't we just start electing cyber criminals?

Okay,

could happen.

Crazier things are happening right now.

Cyber criminals can steal what's yours, sometimes even harm your finances and credit.

Good thing there's Life Lock because you know the FBI's is not looking into all of your details for that.

LifeLock helps to detect a wide range of identity threats and they'll work with you to fix the problem if your data ends up getting compromised.

The Glenn Beck program.

Unbelievable.

Welcome to the program.

I'm going to give you a quick outline of this, and we'll talk about it more tomorrow.

I'm running out of time, but I want to give you a story.

This is happening up in New York.

It appears as though Ben and Jerry's is

dying in New York.

There's a lot of Jewish people in New York.

Ben and Jerry's came out and said, you know, we're boycotting and we're not going to be involved with Israel because of the West Bank, blah, blah, blah.

They're going to stop selling all their products in the West Bank.

Well, the people in certain parts of New York, big Jewish communities, they're not going to Ben and Jerry's, to the retail stores.

Now, these are franchisees.

Listen to this franchisee.

He said, I could sit back and watch without speaking out, out, but it's hurt our bottom line and our

overall store value.

We fear boycotts from customers.

We have many of our customers are Jewish and they're not coming in.

He said, we've lost foot traffic and big catering jobs, yada, yada, yada.

And he said, I'm going to make some, I want people to know I'm not them.

Here's the thing.

Boycotts work.

Now that isn't a boycott.

That's just a group in a community like, I'm not going in there anymore.

Now, this is a franchisee.

Coca-Cola.

We've been concentrating on Coca-Cola this whole time, going, Coca-Cola's got to stop.

Why doesn't anyone focus on the local bottler?

Because they most likely don't agree with the Coca-Cola nonsense.

So why are we going to our local bottler and saying, we don't want Coke in our neighborhoods anymore.

And you local Coke bottling plant, you're distributing it.

You're enabling this.

And we're not interested.

That's what's happening to Ben and Jerry's.

And believe me, I know

Coke will pay attention if the bottlers start to go, ah, guys, I'm in trouble here.

I can't carry your product anymore.

Everything would change.

This is the Glenn Back program.
