This

is

the Glenback program.

There is the biggest story in America happening right now, and for some reason, it's not getting a lot of coverage.

In fact, Katie Herzog, who is a

blue check mark on the left, said this is so bizarre.

I've called 10 gas stations around Asheville, and not a single one has gas.

One person laughed at me when I asked, and yet nothing on current gas shortages on NPR or other national news sites.

How is this not the biggest story in the U.S.

right now?

The local NPR station didn't even mention it on the last update.

What?

Well, it was covered.

It was covered locally on a Fox channel.

Here's what they said.

It's the QT gas station on Selenes around 9.30 at night.

They are out of gas.

Everybody sitting here is not getting gas.

Everything except diesel is out.

What they just told me.

This is going to affect everything in America.

And the Biden administration?

Oh, you won't believe what the Biden administration said about it yesterday.

We start there in 60 seconds.

Tomorrow night on Glenn TV.

Calls to defund the police have led to officers being ambushed and killed.

While crime is spiking in record numbers all over the country, critical race theory has infected our schools, media, and major government institutions, making racial discrimination acceptable in America again.

Glenn reveals where this is all leading and shows how Marxism follows the same violent pattern every single time.

Tomorrow night, 9 p.m.

Eastern at BlazeTV.com/slash Glenn.

Tomorrow night is a very important show if you want to look into the future.

If you're brave enough to look into the future, what is happening in the United States is already playing out, especially in one country in the world, beyond the United States.

They're ahead of us.

I'll show you exactly what our future holds coming up tomorrow night.

You don't want to miss it.

If you want to be prepared, don't miss tomorrow night's show.

Don't miss a single episode of the Glen Beck program.

All right.

So

we have the oil pipeline, the gas pipeline that has been shut down.

It is the gas pipeline that serves major U.S.

airports, including Atlantis, Hartsfield, Jackson, which which is the busiest passenger by traffic anywhere.

This provides Jet A fuel, it provides gas, and it also provides diesel.

This was hacked last Friday.

It was hacked by a group, Darkseid.

Darkseid is in Russia.

We know that.

We don't have ties directly to the Kremlin.

However, you don't do things like this without Putin's understanding or permission.

You would never,

never attack.

Do you think they're going to

attack

China?

You think they're going to go after an ally?

Of course not.

That's why Darkseid never attacks former Soviet states.

So we know that it was at least a Russian gang.

We don't have ties to Putin himself, but we know the attack came from Russia.

We know who these people are.

Here is what the White House said yesterday

about the pipeline ransom.

Listen to this.

That victims of cyber attacks often face a very difficult situation, and they have to just balance often the cost benefit when they have no choice with regard to paying a ransom.

Colonial is a private company and we'll defer information regarding their decision on paying a ransom to them.

Would the administration offer any advice on whether or not to pay a ransom?

So typically that is a private sector decision and the administration has not offered further advice at this time.

Given the rise in ransomware, that is one area we're definitely looking at now to say what should be the government's approach to ransomware actors and to ransoms overall.

Stu, can I ask you a question?

Yes.

In the original episodes of 24, what was the one thing Kiefer Sutherland always said?

Do not negotiate.

Do not

negotiate with terrorists.

The United States doesn't negotiate with terrorists.

We all know that.

We all know that.

This is critical infrastructure.

Now, let me give you a reason why I think that all of this is being led to be being let play out.

I think the Biden administration is moving at a geriatric pace for a reason.

It makes it so much easier to nationalize everything.

It makes it so much easier when everybody is screaming about gas.

They didn't create the problem, but they will exploit the problem.

What was his response yesterday?

His response yesterday is, well, this is covered in the stimulus package.

This is why I need to have that

$2.2 trillion infrastructure.

Really?

Is that it?

I'm telling you, I got up this morning and I was looking at the news, what's happening in Israel, what's happening all around the world,

what is happening in our own country with our own economy.

And I thought, you couldn't plan this any better.

You really couldn't.

And I don't mean that, you know, gee,

it just couldn't be planned any better.

I mean, they did a really good job.

They did a really good job.

You cannot convince me that this is all just

inept people.

They're not that many inept people.

And yes, I've been to Target.

This is going to affect the airports.

It's going to affect the gas stations.

It's going to affect prices.

Well, gee, no big deal.

The gas stations all along the East Coast are now beginning to run out of fuel.

This is America's biggest petroleum pipeline.

And they can't get it back online because of Russian hackers.

If the United States of America cannot,

we have such

weak defenses that they cannot protect our private businesses from terrorists, and that's exactly what they are, terrorists from Russia, then what the hell good is the federal government?

What is the reason we have government?

We have government to protect our rights.

We have a government to protect our property, to protect our way of life.

It's like the police.

We have the police because we can't police everything ourselves.

We have the government because there are certain things we can't do by ourselves.

One of them is stopping cyber terrorism from Russia.

Oh, this is a private sector.

Is it?

That's weird because you would think that the pharmaceutical companies would be a private sector thing too.

But you had no problem marching in there and saying, I want to take the patents.

North Carolina has declared a state of emergency.

Today's emergency declaration will help North Carolina prepare for any potential motor vehicle fuel supply interruptions across the state and ensure motorists are able to have access to fuel.

This is according to the governor.

This is the fourth day yesterday, day five today

of the largest oil pipeline or gasoline pipeline, fuel pipeline in the East Coast.

I don't know if the president knows that, but that's where most people in America live.

Meanwhile,

they keep denying inflation.

Last week, I told you Costco and Kroger, among other brands, have begun the process of serving size optimization.

That's basically what they're saying is we're going to charge you the same price, but give you less.

Paper towel rolls, rolls instead of being 235 sheets is 212 sheets your package of mac and cheese still provides four servings but now instead of 12 ounces per serving it's 10.1 ounces Kirkland

the brand of whole salted cashews used to be 22 ounces

still in the same plastic container now 20 ounces of nuts the rest is air

this is the first thing that happens in inflation Serving sizes go down.

It's been going on for generations.

The only other thing you can do is,

you know, reduce the product or raise your prices.

Well, nobody wants to raise their prices, but actually because

instead of paying 10% more for those cashews, you're just getting 10% less.

But you're paying the same price.

So it's the same thing.

It's just a trick.

Is anybody else sick of tricks is anybody else just searching for somebody to be honest

god i'm so sick and tired of having to try to figure out what everything means because everybody's trying to bamboozle you or trick you did you see what was in i'm going to talk about this next hour did you see the the left

Democrats seem to believe Americans are so gullible and stupefied that friendly reporters can openly quote the left gloating about how they lie, steal, and cheat to get power.

Time magazine article crowing about

Democrats' successful conspiracy to rig the 2020 election through aggressive lawsuits, complaints to corporate media, the ability to deploy rioters.

Remember that?

Time magazine quoted them.

talked about a conspiracy, a whole group of people that had conspired together, the corporations and everybody else.

Now, New York Magazine, yesterday, it's out with an article quoting Democrats celebrating their successes at lying to Americans about the true goals of the president, their conspiracy elected.

The author claims a person close to the White House told her at his 100-day mark, Biden is the most liberal president we've ever had, and the public thinks he's a moderate.

That's a winning strategy to me.

They're willing to accept that you're going to write this piece so long as they know that swing voters in Colorado aren't going to read it.

That's a quote.

I am so sick and tired.

You want to change the country?

Then tell us what you want to change it to.

Stop telling me that you're not a Marxist, only later to reveal that you are a Marxist, and Marxism is great.

You smeared me.

You did everything you could to destroy me and my family for years.

For what?

So you Marxists could win?

Now

the powers that be are lying to you about inflation.

Why is inflation so bad?

Because inflation screws you.

It screws the guy down at the bottom.

It screws the business owner that is just trying to make it.

It doesn't screw the banks.

It doesn't screw big business.

They're getting bailouts all the time.

In the end, it really screws the little guy.

Anybody who has

played the game the way it's supposed to be.

You pay your taxes, you save your money, you went to school, you worked hard at your job, all of these things that are now in jeopardy because you might not believe in critical theory.

I'm sorry, I don't think all white people are racist.

I also don't think black people can't be racists.

Sue me.

Shut me down.

Go ahead.

You play by the rules.

You put your money in the bank.

Your money, because they are printing money, is worth less.

Yes, it says a dollar.

I've got a hundred dollars in the bank.

But if inflation is at 10%, you actually only have 90 cents in the bank.

The way they are running, and this is not my estimate.

The way they are running, experts believe that your $100 will be worth $52

in just a couple of years.

Who wins?

I'll tell you what it looks like.

You want to know what it looks like?

Look at Columbia right now.

I haven't even started.

I haven't gotten to a darn thing I wanted to get to yet.

It's going to be one of those shows, gang.

Buckle up.

Back in one minute, I'll tell you about what's happening in Colombia and then what's really happening here in America.

First, our sponsor this half hour is Timeshare Termination Team.

this is from Colombia

bloody violent protests have raged on for 10 days now through Colombia leaving at least 26 dead and more than 900 injured.

Demonstrations erupted in in Bogota, Medellín, Cali, and other cities April 28th, decrying

President

Dukes, I think, proposed tax hike

that critics say will raise the prices of food and taxes for more middle-class workers.

The plan is meant to unburden the government from the COVID-19 financial strain.

So what happened in Colombia?

They decided to give people money and give them a basic minimum wage.

Just start paying things out, just start printing money.

Well, now, here comes the Piper and he demands his due.

So what do they say?

We're going to tax more.

We have to tax more.

We're out of other schemes.

We have to tax more.

We have to tell you the truth now.

You know, when we told you that this wouldn't, nothing to worry about, this is going to get us out of the hole?

We all knew, because two plus two does equal four,

we all knew that there was going to come a time when this whole thing could collapse on us.

Well, here it is.

So now we have to tell you the truth.

We have to raise taxes.

That's coming, America.

So now people are marching in the streets.

But they're not marching in the streets just because of inflation, just because of high taxes, just because the government lied.

No, no, no.

They have a little help on the streets.

you see they're also protesting the violent police responses oh you mean it's not just America really isn't that interesting yeah they they're they've been protesting for a while for police reform and equity

oh

well that's great we have so much in common

Listen to this

this is a guy 34 year old tourism sector employee.

He says the government doesn't want to listen to us and we just have no choice.

I've been walking every day peacefully with friends.

We can observe the undercover cops.

They even tried to shoot us on Monday.

I wasn't injured.

I wasn't a militant before, but we need money to live.

We need to go back to work.

We're supposedly a democracy.

Here's a group of people that say, I want to go back to work.

Meanwhile, in America, we pay you to sit at home.

Oh, by the way, way, they did that too in Utah.

In Colombia, they had a basic minimum income.

Worked out well.

I'm sorry, I am in a mood today.

Life lock.

Recent survey showed couples tend to share a variety of passwords with each other within the first six months of dating.

Unfortunately, when those relationships ships end, Both parties have access to the login information, tracking one another's location, access multiple things with the same passwords.

Cybercrime comes in many different forms, can come speaking a little like this,

or it can speak and whisper words of love for a while.

LifeLock will detect a wide range of identity threats.

If your information has been compromised, they'll send you an alert.

Things really go south.

They have a dedicated restoration specialist

there to deal with it if you become a victim because nobody can prevent everything.

Gee, especially with the United States government taking such a hard stand.

The code has been for for 10 bucks off.

This administration is doing absolutely everything it can, I believe, intentionally, to tear us down and destroy us.

Look what they've done with the police.

Look what they are doing with the police.

Look what they're doing with our

defense department.

Our defense department, our CIA.

All they care about is, you know, cisgender people not getting the opportunity that others should have now.

I mean,

it's insanity, what is going on?

Insanity.

Remember, I told you last summer.

Think of this.

I told you last summer,

you haven't seen anything yet.

You will not recognize your country from this summer, said this last summer.

you won't recognize your country that you're living in right now, next summer.

We're not even in the summer, and I don't recognize my country.

Do you

do you recognize, do you recognize an administration that says after the biggest cyber

hit on our nation's infrastructure, to hit our oil and gas pipelines and shut down

the East Coast, the colonial pipeline.

Do you recognize an administration that says, hey, this is a private sector thing and they're just going to have to decide whether or not they pay the ransom or not?

Do you recognize that?

Because I certainly don't.

Do you recognize a country that will jail

the people who are in the Capitol riot?

I abhor what happened on January 6th.

I abhor it.

It was foolish.

It was reckless.

It was wrong.

It was illegal.

It was

the dumbest political move I've ever seen.

Let alone people died.

I mean, I can't tell you how many ways that this was wrong.

However, do you believe the defendants

are,

do you believe they should be isolated?

Do you believe they should be in solitary confinement?

Do you believe they should be in a place where there is no ability for their attorneys to meet with them and discuss the trial?

That's exactly what is happening.

We're going to get their attorney on

probably, hopefully tomorrow.

Are you kidding

One prisoner says a prison guard beat him up so badly he suffered permanent eye damage.

Then there's Edward Lang, an observant Jew, who claims guards disparaged him as a false prophet as he prayed for other inmates.

What is happening to our country?

A country that is now paying people

more money to stay at home than you can get to work.

The single mom is better off earning gross income of $29,000

with $57,327

in net income and benefits than to earn a gross income of $70,000 with net income and benefits.

You can make the equivalent of $70,000 by working a job, making $29,000, and then taking the rest from the government.

Does that sound like a country that is going to get healthy?

How many homes, they say inflation isn't happening.

How many homes could you build with $50,000 in lumber in 2015?

We have a housing shortage, by the way.

Housing shortage.

The solution is build more houses.

Okay.

In 2015, with $50,000 worth of lumber, you could build almost 15 houses, 14.7

today.

With $50,000,

you can build two.

Two.

So don't tell me inflation isn't here.

Oh, by the way, inflation definitely isn't here.

I mean, it's definitely not here.

You know, we covered

the hidden indicator where they're just reducing the sizes of things by 10%, but charging you the same amount.

That's not inflation.

Yes, it is.

That's hidden inflation.

Let me tell you about the latest.

You know that stores are closing like crazy.

People are, you know, out of work from their traditional job.

There's one store that's actually booming.

One brand store has opened more new stores than any other.

Not only have they opened more new stores than any other so far, they're also set to open more new stores across the U.S.

than any other by a wide margin.

Do you know what that store is?

Dollar General.

Dollar General is a discount grocery, drug, and variety store with locations in 39 states.

Along with the Family Dollar and Dollar Tree, their footprint with U.S.

customers has continued to increase since the financial crisis of 2008.

The discount grocery category has grown from 15% of all grocery expenditures in 2008 to nearly 30% of all U.S.

groceries expenses in 2019.

Nearly 100% growth in 10 years.

By the way, that's happening while everybody's doing their shopping also on Amazon.

Then the pandemic hit.

With its one-two punch of COVID-19, the idiotic government response to COVID-19 led to a shutdown of the entire economy, lock people in their homes, forced small businesses to close their doors, maybe count this as a one-two-three punch.

The government's next move, in a you broke it, you bought it sort of way, pumps trillions of dollars into the company or into the economy by way of cash stimulus payments, extended unemployment benefits, canceled or deferred rents, forgave student loans hundreds of billions in child care credits.

By the way, according to the American Enterprise Institute, the average U.S.

household with two kids that lost a job during COVID-19 is eligible for $2,000 a month across all state programs and federal subsidies.

That's $24,000 a year just in COVID-19 related benefits on top of whatever normal welfare you can receive.

So, retailers are pushing back against the pandemic.

CVS, Kroger, Rite Aid, Hy-Vee, all stores have closed locations during 2020.

What has the Dollar General store done?

Over the past 12 months,

they've had 240 new store openings

in a 12-month period.

But that's not even the big news.

The big news is that Dollar General is on pace to open 1,035 new store locations by the end of the year.

That's two new dollar stores every day from February 2020 till the end of 2021.

The CEO says the demand is just there.

Nearly half of all new retail store locations in the U.S.

opening in 21

will be dollar stores.

Half will be dollar stores.

So what does that tell you?

You ain't shopping at Whole Goods anymore.

You're not shopping at a Wegmans.

It means consumers in America are changing their habits.

They're looking for cheaper alternatives.

This is the canary in the coal mine.

In the coal mine,

you don't know that gas is leaking until the canaries die.

When you see that, get out.

The government figures the consumer price index

You don't see the switch the move from Smiths or Whole Foods or Wegmans to Dollar General

Because to them all of a sudden the prices of groceries go down so rather than seeing inflation driving prices up They see the average grocery store receipt getting cheaper and the CPI doesn't go up

But on the ground, what's happening is many shoppers already paying more out of pocket for gas a lot more soon, for lumber, for food, for rent.

They're looking for ways to make any kind of balance happen in their checkbook.

People generally, if they're responsible, adjust

to their new means.

And when the price of everything is going up due to inflation, consumer behavior changes to reduce the cost.

It means they voluntarily lower their standard of living, in this case, reducing their grocery costs by shopping at stores with fewer luxury items.

The Congressional Budget's CPI is blind to all of this, intentionally.

All they care about are the numbers.

They don't care about actual people and they've rigged the system.

There's no real inflation.

It's maybe going to hit 3.4%.

It's already at 10.

If you calculate the way it was calculated when I was a kid, it's over 10.

When Reagan was in office, it would have been 10.4% if you calculated it the same way.

The American consumer knows what's going on.

And I tell you, the way this administration is acting,

it's like they were acting before the

election.

Do you remember how we all said there's no ground game?

How is he planning on getting elected?

He's not going out.

There's no momentum for him at all.

There's no ground game.

And yet they were so arrogant.

They just operated as if they knew they were going to win.

Some would say, definitely not this broadcaster, would say they knew

because it was rigged.

They are acting like they are going to rule forever.

They are acting as if no one really cares what the American public is saying about their policies, and Democrats are turning on their policies.

Why don't they seem to care?

Why do they keep going and doing all of this very unpopular stuff?

What do they know that we don't know?

Bo lives in Ohio.

He writes in about his dog's experience with rough greens.

He said, Glenn, it took my dog Toby a few days to get used to the rough greens, but he seems to love it now.

It's too early to see a change in his behavior yet, but I am seeing a few moves from his younger self.

I'm definitely going to continue to see

if he responds more.

Thank you, Rough Greens.

This is somebody who just tried the trial pack.

You want to make sure that you get the trial pack.

If you're not sure your dog is going to like rough greens, I mean,

every dog I know of loves this stuff.

It's like dog crack,

dog crack.

And it is, it's a bag, a trial bag that will let you have your dog try it for, I don't know, a few days, depending on the size of your dog.

This might be three days for my dog.

For Stu's dog, it could be six months.

Pat's dog, it's a year and a half.

But you can get the trial pack.

All you have to do is pay for the shipping and handling.

Just try it.

Make sure your dog will eat it.

Then order a full bag of rough greens and begin the challenge.

And you'll see 30 days, 60 days, 120 days.

My dog is still changing on me.

And he's been eating it for a year.

You will meet the real dog inside of your dog that is just dying to come out.

Give them the nutrients they need.

Put this on their food.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

Stu, did you hear the Jake Tapper audio yesterday with the White House official when Jake said, why is the president saying we should abide by CDC guidelines and then wear a mask outside?

Why is he doing that?

Well, you know, he believes that, you know, it's still dangerous on the outside.

Well, wait, but why is he

believing that?

Why does he believe that?

Can you go into the

numbers on the CDC guideline on

the ability to catch it outside?

It's really amazing.

David Leinhardt for the New York Times, who has actually done a lot of really good reporting on this sort of stuff, has talked about today a number that has been thrown around by the CDC, which is basically saying like they are saying now less than 10% of all cases come from outdoor transmission.

Less than 10%, really

less than 10%.

Yeah, so you'd think to yourself.

Seems like a small number.

It seems like a small number.

But a number that might legitimately still have you wearing a mask or social distancing because it's still obviously a part of this.

It might not be the majority,

but it's a part of this.

And it's while absolutely true, it is less than 10%.

I mean, that is a hundred.

absolutely true, Glenn.

The thing is, it's

how much less than 10%.

So we don't know exactly the number,

but experts believe, now, again, we're supposed to follow the size of the.

According to the New York Times, New York Times.

Yes.

Experts believe the number is likely more like 0.1%

of cases are outside.

Wow.

They have based this, their number on,

there was a study that happened, and it was thousands and thousands of cases, and there's 95 of them that were transmitted outdoors.

Now, there are no known super spreader events in the world that have ever occurred outdoors, and there are no known transmissions

other than close conversations that have happened outdoors.

So these 95 cases that they're talking about are actually

from all from Singapore at construction sites.

And when you look into the details of it, basically

they just said these

came indoors and

they were actually indoors, not outdoors.

Are you assured that Joe Biden's not going to be on a construction site in Singapore anytime soon?

I'm not.

I'm not.

I'm not.

He may think

he's on one.

There you go.

Right now, I think he thinks he's on one.

This is the Glenn Bach program.

Let me tell you about Rough Greens.

Ever since Uno tried Rough Greens for the first time,

he is a different dog.

Your dog, too, right, Sue?

Oh, yeah.

I mean, Miles is...

Miles was, I mean, practically dead.

You're talking about President Miles?

Is that who you're talking about?

Yeah, President Miles.

President Miles, yes.

President Miles has been able to run the country.

He's awake more often than Joe Biden.

And a lot of that's because of Rough Greens.

Without Rough Greens.

Have you really seen a different

change?

Oh, yeah.

I mean, first of all, it is run to the bowl.

And, you know, Miles doesn't run that much anymore, but it's a very slow walk to the bowl Which is more than normal We don't have to carry him there at least

and Yeah, you see a real difference in energy level my dog Piper is is much younger and and you can tell I mean she wants to run around she wants to play you know, there's a lot of the activity the increase is noticeable Yeah, same with Uno.

Uno is nine, which is old for a German Shepherd, and he's acting like he was three.

I mean, it's it's really a change.

Try a free bag of rough greens for your dog just to try out.

All you pay for is shipping.

You get a little bag, make sure that they'll eat it.

You put it on their food.

If they love it, order a bigger bag and watch the results.

This

is

the Glenback Program.

I got a letter in

from a fan and listener who is really struggling,

34 years old,

listens all the time

and doesn't know what to do, doesn't doesn't know how to

fight

or

at least present facts to his friends.

We go there in 60 seconds.

The Glenn Beck Program.

First, let me tell you about Relief Factor.

Relief Factor is something that is

really going to change your life.

It is

a pain remedy that is

real.

And I say that kind of unbelieving because, you know,

anything that works on inflammation, that's where all of our pain is coming from.

But anything that works on inflammation has never really worked for me.

I don't know why,

but it just doesn't.

I mean, ibuprofen 800, shut up.

Geez, I already take that.

I take, you know, ibuprofen 1600, it doesn't make a dent with me.

So I really didn't think that Relief Factor would work.

It did.

And I still take it three times a day, every day.

It is,

it's a miracle in my life.

It's a miracle in many people's lives.

Try it.

You might be part of the 70% where it just works wonders in your life and you get out of pain.

You get your life back.

Just try it.

Three-week quick start.

You'll know in three weeks.

Doesn't work in three weeks.

It's not going to work for you.

Dear Glenn, my name is Frederick Morgan.

I'm one of these young black Americans, 34 years old.

I listened to Rush every day when I was in middle school.

I truly believe in the conservative thought.

I am a conservative, but I can't fight some of the things my friends bring up.

I try my hardest to fight it because I know that I'm right.

I went to Florida State University.

I may major in history.

I'd love your opinion if you could.

Please tell me how I can fight this story that this country was built on slaves when it actually truly was all the way up to Canada and the original 13 colonies.

They did have indentured servants right alongside everyone else at the time.

I try to tell people this.

I try to give them,

you know, some

information that will help change their lives.

The whole thing about the Civil War, how many lives were lost, white lies, white lives.

But it's just not enough.

I need more history.

I need more real history.

Because what I was taught, obviously, it just isn't enough.

So he goes on and he's basically pleading for information.

Frederick,

I got your email this morning, and I really appreciate you writing in.

Let me see if I can help you.

First of all,

You're right about indentured servants.

The first American slave happened in the 1600s.

Now that was an English slave.

There was no America in the 1600s.

It was English.

And that slave belonged to a black man.

See, he was an indentured servant.

It was a black indentured servant to a black man.

And what indentured servant meant is,

you know,

it's kind of in a way when a company pays for your education into something and then, well, it's this.

It's the military.

You do what the military says and they'll pay for your education, but you work for them for at least four years.

That's basically what indentured servitude was.

It wasn't slavery.

It was indentured servitude.

So this indentured servant, I guess, just didn't work hard enough.

to this man's liking, and so he went to court and he said, I think he owes me the

rest of his life,

thus making him a slave with no chance of escape.

That was a black man that sued for that privilege

and won in an English court.

So the first slave was black.

The first slave owner was black.

While the numbers don't compare

because of just the volume,

the

the per capita rate in many of the southern states slaves were held per capita in more black families than white families most people didn't have slaves

but most people didn't look at slavery at all.

It's not that they didn't look at it and judge it great.

They refused to look at it.

For instance, we're doing that right now on many things, many things.

And when your progressive friends say, well, they didn't stop slavery, no.

Do you believe abortion is either good or bad?

That it's either a fundamental right that every woman should have to kill her baby, or it's a fundamental right of the babies to not be killed by their mothers.

Either way, it doesn't matter.

How come we haven't solved solved that?

Why haven't you done everything you can to make sure that every woman has the right?

Oh, you say you have, you've done everything you can, but you still have half the country or more believing it's wrong.

So, now what are you going to do?

What needs to happen for you if you believe that that is the right of every woman to be able to choose to kill her child?

Every woman has that right, and she's enslaved to a system

that says no.

What are you doing to free her from that?

We're doing everything we can.

That's exactly what the founders did.

They did everything they could.

But at some point, you either have to kill people over it and have another war, or you just believe in progress, that we're going to make steps and eventually will get through this.

See, that's what progressivism is, except I think progressivism is actually on the side of evil because it was really started to make us a communist country or a fascistic country because before the 1940s and the 1950s where communism and

fascism revealed itself for the death machine that it was, when it first was proposed, people in America, many on the right and the left, Republicans and Democrats, thought, you know, this is the way it should be.

We should do that.

But they didn't want the bloody revolution.

They didn't want to kill people over it.

So they decided we would just put it in step by step.

And eventually we'd get there.

Now, yes, it's taken 100 years, but voila, we are here.

So should they have had a bloody revolution in 1917 here in America?

Well, I guess if you're an absolutist, you would say yes.

But if you're an absolutist, then what happens to when you have control now of all three branches?

You are

just marching headlong into socialism.

What are you going to do with the 50% of the Americans that don't want to do that?

that don't believe in that path?

What are you going to do?

Are you going to hope that progressivism will change them?

Or are you going to scare them or shoot them?

Because that's the choice that our founders had on slavery.

Refer them to the Declaration of Independence, the first draft.

You can find it online.

Look for where Thomas Jefferson's handwriting changes.

Look for when Jefferson starts to print things out, not in cursive letters.

Look where he capitalizes and underlines the word men.

Why would he do that?

He understood.

He understood that slaves were men,

that slaves

had

just the same equal right as everybody else to be free.

That's why he excoriates the king, King George, and explains how many times they tried to stop it.

What makes you any different as a progressive than the founders?

They did everything they could,

including all new lands, the Northwest Ordinance, forbade any kind of slavery.

It was not going to spread.

In fact, they did everything they could to shut it down, to slowly bleed it dry.

If we were a nation that was built by slaves, and over the 400 years of the slave trade,

I think we imported about a million slaves.

Why isn't Brazil built on the back of slaves, seeing that they took about 8 million?

Why aren't they known as a country built on slavery?

We took the least.

Americans took the least amount of slaves.

For all the rest of the Dutch slave trade, we were the lowest on the totem pole.

Why is it that we are the only ones?

Why is it that we are the only ones?

Yeah, well, it took a civil war to stop it.

Yes, it did.

Isn't that amazing?

Isn't that amazing?

We're the only country in the world where white people fought white people to free black people.

Gee, that sounds awfully racist, doesn't it?

We killed 600,000 men and women and children in many cases on the battlefield.

600,000 in the Civil War.

White people fighting white people to free black people.

Help me out.

Well, it just that wasn't what the Civil War was about.

The Civil War was about the Union.

Yes, it was.

And the Union was trying to abolish slavery.

That's why they seceded because they thought Abraham Lincoln was going to stop slavery.

Well, he didn't, did he?

When he first got in, he didn't care.

He said the federal government doesn't have that power to stop it.

It has to stop in the slave states.

You might call him a progressive, but when they came out and said, we reject this union and to join our new Confederate Union, you have to be not only accepting slaves, you have to actively be involved in importing and expanding the slave trade.

We thought that was evil.

We thought that was wrong.

So, yep, we went to war.

See, the problem with this is this is so easy.

It's so easy to fight, but no one really wants to listen to it.

Nobody wanted to listen to the plight of slavery, just like nobody wants to talk about abortion today.

Nobody wants to talk about the fact that there are more

people held in slavery today

than in the entire 400 history,

400-year history of the slave trade, 400 years of slavery.

There are more held today

in slavery than over that entire period.

Why aren't we talking about that?

The reason is, we don't talk about things that are important anymore.

Don't you know that?

That's why the media is not covering the

colonial pipeline.

They're not talking about the incredible attack on our infrastructure by Russians.

Now, if Russia were a friend, I'll tell you this.

If Donald Trump or Ronald Reagan were in office, we would be demanding that Donald, that Putin would bring those people to justice.

Can you imagine?

You imagine if some group just attacked the infrastructure of Putin's oil regime.

And they were Americans.

And the American government said, We don't have anything to do with it.

I don't know anything about it.

But they could prove it came from America.

Do you think Putin would think that maybe we were involved and have some strong words for us?

Because I know Ronald Reagan would have.

I know Donald Trump would have.

But the media has decided it's not important because the media is part of the destruction of America.

And so is our educational system.

So, Frederick, take solace in the fact that you have

the first name that Frederick Douglass had, and Frederick Douglass was conned by people for a long time.

He believed that the Constitution was a slave owner's paradise until he was asked, have you read it?

When he read it, and then he read the Federalist Papers and he read the Declaration of Independence, he said, this is the greatest document of freedom.

This is the greatest anti-slavery document ever written.

You may not win with your friends.

Don't try to win.

Just try to be helpful.

But at the same time, Frederick,

you might want to find some new friends.

Let me tell you about Car Shield.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you don't own a computer chip manufacturing plant, because if you do, this commercial is not for you.

Based on the assumption that you don't own one, I'm going to further assume that you don't enjoy the prospect of having to pay thousands of dollars to replace one in your car, even if you can get one.

This hasn't really hit yet, America.

It's about to.

Your phones, your car, everything.

They're not making computer chips.

And Ford is saying we're not going to be able to fulfill production in this quarter.

For a covered repair, man, you get one of those computer chips.

Before, I had a $3,000 or $5,000 computer chip go down.

A chip, a piece of plastic.

If that went down and it cost that much money, write my car off.

But I didn't because I have Car Shield.

Car Shield.

Doesn't care about

your car doesn't care about your savings.

It doesn't care about the computer chip shortage.

When it goes, it goes.

But CarShield has me covered, and they can cover you as well.

Call them right now, carshield.com.

This is an insurance

policy against inflation and what's coming towards your car.

CarShield.com, code back, carshield.com, code back deductible may apply.

10 seconds stationary.

Welcome to the program.

So

riots in Jerusalem yesterday.

Did you see what

happened yesterday in Jerusalem and

the top Israeli diplomat in the United States, he said yesterday the Western powers have inflamed the tensions in Jerusalem.

You know, Stu,

I mean, are we on the wrong side of everything now?

It's an interesting wording.

I thought what had inflamed Jerusalem were the rockets landing on it.

That was kind of my

thought about what was inflaming Jerusalem at this particular moment.

I don't know.

I mean, I don't know.

We're not on the wrong side of everything.

It's just, you know, this is something we've had to deal with for a long time,

and it's getting worse and worse and worse.

You know, this stuff is everywhere, and you have to fight it off everywhere.

I mean, we talked about the Disney thing yesterday, where they're going through and teaching critical race theory, and that, like, the colorblind society is a hateful relic of the past.

And

asking for- How does that even make sense to anybody?

How does a thinking human being actually make that work in their head?

I don't know.

I mean, the only thing is the sort of Ibram Kendi construct of saying basically, you know, the only solution for past discrimination is current discrimination.

There is nothing you can do about the past.

The past is gone.

Tomorrow may never come.

Let's concentrate on today.

I mean, this is so easy to take apart.

How does this stuff make sense to so many people?

Are they just that dumb?

I mean, I've met dumb people.

I have seen them in the parking lot of Walmart and I have lived in New York City.

So really, class doesn't make a difference.

We are riddled with dumb people.

And so maybe you just have to be that dumb.

But just a few honest questions tear all that apart, doesn't it?

Yeah,

but no one wants to act.

It's very difficult to get people in the mindset of wanting to ask or answer honest questions.

It's very difficult.

I mean, they just don't know.

You know, the output mask thing is a perfect example of it, right?

There's never been evidence to support you should wear a mask outside ever.

I mean, it's never been a drop of evidence to say that that's a smart thing to do.

Yet, if you don't wear one in certain areas of this country, you will be harassed by people walking by you who will get in your face to explain to you why you're bad for doing that and while increasing the risk that there's actual transmission because they're in your face yelling at you.

That's not sense.

There's no science behind that.

That's not common sense.

That's just, I don't know if it's just tribalism or what it is, but it's

not a problem.

I think tribalism is a big part of it.

It's not so much now, but it was under Donald Trump.

You had to be against the vaccine.

You had to be against

everything that Donald Trump did, hydrochloroquine, all of it.

And it was all tribalism.

It had nothing to do with the truth.

Now I just think those roles are set for everybody on COVID, and so you,

I guess, self-select.

However, I'm willing to look and live by the science, but I don't think the people in Washington are.

All right, tomorrow, very big program, the Glenn Beck program on Blaze TV.

Grab your subscription now and save promo code Glenn at blazetv.com/slash Glenn.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

So glad that you have tuned us in today.

It is Tuesday.

The pipeline is still down.

The White House has said

that we should,

that's a private sector thing.

So whether they pay the ransom or not is really up to to them.

Okay.

All right.

Okay.

Thank you for that help.

Is that an issue to you?

I mean, you don't think the government should have a little more guidance on

it.

It is weird that this is one of the things that happens often, not only by private companies, but also by city governments and state governments that they get hacked and they just literally just pay criminals to get their information back.

What is the ignorant practice?

What are we paying the federal government?

Why are we paying taxes if they won't protect us from outside forces?

Isn't that their job?

Seems like

outside forces.

Yeah, it does to me.

And we don't seem to take any of these things seriously after they happen.

You know, you have hacks from sometimes state actors that we don't do anything about.

I mean, we have a very serious possibility that a global pandemic was caused by a communist government.

By the way, I've still, still not unsealed the research files from

the Wuhan Institute of Virology so that people around the world can check them out and see if maybe this was the cause.

Still haven't done it.

We're a year later.

Still haven't done it.

No one seems to care.

No one seems to do much of anything about it.

And it's going to continue.

We're busy

keeping these people responsible.

We're busy working on equity right now.

We should be laser focused on equity.

Because that's what everybody's looking for.

Yes.

Not equality, that's for sure.

I don't want equality.

No, not equality.

I don't want equality.

I want equity, which is something totally different and brand spanking new in case you haven't been following this.

Have you seen the Disney thing?

Did you look into that at all, Glenn, over the past couple days?

I didn't look into it because it would make my eyes bleed.

I know about it, the Disney training, but I did kind of make my eyes bleed.

I thought about you a little bit and the eye bleeding here, and I thought about how much to torture you over this because I know you

love and you hate Disney.

You have a love-hate relationship there.

I love Walt Disney.

I love what he stood for.

I love what he built.

I love how he built it.

I love the ideals, the original principles of Disney.

I despise them now.

Despise them.

Well, this is going to help you probably down this road because they've started a

brand new program for their employees.

And it's called Reimagine Tomorrow.

Because you're probably imagining tomorrow right now as a white person as like you are a racist and you don't like black people and you're hoping to go back to those good old days of slavery.

What do you think does Disney do to help me reimagine a place where white people are not in charge and where white people don't

milk their advantage to keep people in chains?

You know, I'm glad you asked that, and I'd like to get your reaction to some of these things, Glenn, to see how you feel about it.

Sure, sure, sure.

One module of

the program is called Allyship for Race Consciousness.

The company tells employees that they must take ownership of educating themselves about structural anti-black racism, and they should not rely on their black colleagues to educate them because it is emotionally taxing.

I can imagine how emotionally taxing it is.

White people are not

emotionally taxed at all right now.

We are just living the sweet dream.

And the document goes on to basically say: instead of,

so you're not, we're supposed to have a conversation about race, right?

That's what we're always told.

With people of color.

But don't talk to people of color about their opinions on it because that is going to tax them emotionally.

Instead, you should go, as the document advises, you should go talk to or go read things from black journalists and writers who can inform you about this, which, again, to my eye, and I know as a man with white privilege, I don't have any role in this conversation, but

to my eye, picking your journalists based on their skin color is racism.

Is it not?

Excuse me.

May I quote, ha ha, racist?

Oh, yeah.

It's a great cartoon.

Thank you.

Yeah.

By the way, we should point out this is from Christopher Ruffo, who's done an incredible job.

I mean, one-man records

in destroying

and exposing so many times in internal documents like this from schools and companies across the country.

I think he's going to be joining us later this week to talk about this.

Disney recommends that employees atone for their racism by challenging colorblind ideologies and rhetoric.

I can't take it.

Such as

all lives matter.

I don't see color.

And

of course, white people must listen with empathy to black colleagues and not question or debate black colleagues' lived experience.

Now, Glenn,

correct me if I'm wrong here.

I'm just thinking here for a second.

First of all, I thought the

utopian vision, utopian, we may never get there, but utopian vision of Martin Luther King was a colorblind society.

So now that we must challenge colorblind ideologies and rhetoric, such as I don't see color.

I mean,

they are

Martin Luther King.

Yes, of course they are because they believe the opposite of Martin Luther King.

Because Martin Luther King was saying, America, live up to your principles and your values and your ideals.

What they're saying now is all of those ideals, all of those principles are garbage.

And the only way to fight racism is with racism.

So two can play that game.

That's what they're saying.

Two can play that game, and

we're going to get the one up on you, and we're going to crush you into the dirt.

This is, you know, I'll show you this in action tomorrow, tomorrow night on our special.

9 o'clock, it happens.

You can watch it a billion places, watch it at Blaze TV, watch it on YouTube.

By the way, you're going to have to go seek it out on YouTube.

Some reason or another, it's hard to find any of the videos of mine on YouTube being spread around anymore.

But you can just go to YouTube and watch it there for free.

You can get it as a Blaze TV.

But we're going to show you this happening in real time.

They're just a little ahead of us, one country.

And we'll show you the truth on that.

By the way, Stu, I brought in the Disneyland Prospectus.

Yeah.

Okay.

So this is the actual

prospectus that was typed out originally by Walt's secretary at his dictation over a weekend.

This is what he brought to the banks and said,

I want to build a theme park.

Nobody knew what a theme park was.

They turned him down.

He was asking for $18 million to build Disneyland.

Can you imagine that?

This is the Disneyland story.

I want you to see, are they living up to any of these ideals?

The idea of Disney, of Disneyland, is a simple one.

It will be a place for people to find happiness and knowledge.

Okay, you could say critical race theory in a very twisted, absolutely

polar opposite of Walt Disney sort of way.

You could say, oh yeah, we're just giving knowledge, yes.

It'll be a place for parents and children to share pleasant times in one another's company.

A place for teachers and pupils to discover greater ways of understanding and education.

Here the older generation can recapture the nostalgia of the days gone gone by, and the younger generation can savor the challenge of the future.

Here will be the wonders of nature and man for all to see and understand.

Disneyland will be based upon and dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, the hard facts that have created America, and it will be uniquely equipped to dramatize these dreams and facts and send them forth as a source of courage and inspiration to all the world.

So if America was built on slavery, you better damn well tear Disney apart

because it was dedicated to the ideals, the facts, and the dreams that created America.

So if you're saying that's slavery, tear the damn park down and I will help you do it.

Disneyland will be something of a fair, an exhibition, a playground, a community center, a museum of living facts, a showplace of beauty and magic.

It will be filled with the accomplishments, the joys and hopes of the world we live in.

And it will remind us and show us how to make these wonders part of our own lives.

That was Walt's dream.

That's what he built.

That's not what any Disney park represents today.

If they are teaching their people, they have already allowed people people to grow their hair any way they want, mustache, you can have tattoos.

I know this seems like a really small thing, but why was Disneyland so successful?

Why did Walt Disney build a berm, a wall around Disney?

It wasn't just to keep people from sneaking into the park for free.

Why did he build a giant berm around that whole thing?

He built it so you could enter a fantasy world.

You could enter a world where the current world of stress, the current world of problems would disappear.

So would Walt want people with tats on their face?

No.

Why?

Because people view tats different ways.

He wanted everything as clean and as generic as possible with all of the employees.

He wanted people to represent the best of mankind without any reminders of the outside world.

You want to take your vacation at a place that you're already so concerned is going to bankrupt your family?

I mean, if you were the federal government, you'd be borrowing from your great-grandchildren to be able to go to Disney.

You're already stressed out about that.

You want to go into a place that now is preaching to you what you should be instead of the hard facts, the ideals, and the principles of this country that created the greatest country, the greatest

flash of freedom in all mankind?

I don't think so.

I don't think so.

Sorry, Walt.

I think now it's time for all of us to go back and sit on that bench that had gum on it

at the carnival where you took your kids every Sunday and thought thought there's got to be a better way.

Not anymore.

They've destroyed it.

You know, I should probably apologize for being in such a bad mood today, but

I don't know.

I pay attention to the world.

Let me tell you about American Financing.

Sarah wrote in about her experience.

She said, we just closed on our home with American Financing.

I heard about them through the blaze, decided to give them a try.

They were fantastic.

They assigned a whole team to take care of us.

They were amazingly helpful.

Great communication all around.

Above and beyond that, we got a great interest rate to boot.

2.75.

What's your interest rate now?

Is your interest rate anywhere near four?

God forbid it's higher.

You can get your interest rate now down in the twos and save yourself a buttload of money over the long term of your loan.

You will pay a lower monthly payment.

If you consolidate your loan without resetting the terms of your mortgage, without resetting the years,

if you consolidate your loan right now, you could save hundreds, if not thousands, every month.

And I'm telling you, those credit card bills are going to go up because the banks will impose higher interest rates because they'll say people are desperate and they're too risky.

And so we have to charge more money.

And they will gouge themselves on your interest rate.

Trust me, it's coming.

Get out of those things as fast as you can.

So yesterday, the Biden administration came out and said, you know, what they did with Johnson ⁇ Johnson and the vaccines, that actually helped the credibility of the vaccines.

That didn't stop anybody from coming out and getting the vaccines.

Well, other than the fact that we can look at the numbers and almost to the day that you said, hey, Johnson and Johnson, there might be a

bad situation here with Johnson and Johnson.

All of a sudden, everybody just decides, yeah, I'm not going to go get a vaccine.

Really?

To clarify.

Glenn, you said almost to the day, it was to the day, the exact day this occurred, there's a massive drop-off from not only Johnson and Johnson, but of course, also Pfizer and Moderna, and people not wanting to take it as much.

Now, it's started to just sort of pop back up in the last few days.

So, you know, multiple weak

area of declines in vaccinations, obviously based on the fact that they pulled one off the market for no reason and then put it back on the market with not even a warning.

So incredible.

So, Stu,

I have a country that it may actually be worse than what our country is doing to get people vaccinated.

Our country just says, hey, there might be a real problem.

People might die from this.

But go get the vaccine.

And if you get the vaccine, you got to still wear masks and social distance and never see anyone ever again.

I think this might actually be

worse.

In Romania,

they have decided

that one of the health clinics, they need the space to vaccinate people.

So one of the health clinics is going to be

Bran Castle.

Hmm?

Bran Castle.

You don't know what Bran Castle is.

Let me see if I can.

Romania, Romania.

What did it used to be called?

Oh,

Transylvania?

Yeah, Bran's Castle

known as Dracula's Castle.

So, kids, all we want you to do is go up a hill and go into Kessel and they stick you with needles.

Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Uh-uh.

No.

Apparently, tourists think it's cool.

I guess you get a t-shirt.

I got,

you know, I got vaccinated at Dracula's Castle.

I kind of want that t-shirt.

I don't know why.

I do.

I do kind of want the t-shirt.

I do.

I got vaccinated at Dracula Castle.

What'd you do on your weekend?

Nothing.

It's almost worth flying over because the airline tickets have got to be cheap.

They're always always cheap inbound to Romania, but now maybe even more.

So you got that.

Either that or you can go to Bucharest and get it at the National Library.

Oh, you got to go to the Dragon Club's Castle.

You got to go to Dragon Castle.

Yeah.

I'm not going across the street to get it at the library, but.

Are we sure you're supposed to be injecting that into my neck?

Why would you be?

I don't understand.

But I was an arm shot.

Why are there two needles going into my neck?

And why is your head so close to me?

All right.

Back in just a second.

Mr.

We're going to talk about his book.

It's out today.

Yeah, it's out today.

Killing the Mob.

We'll talk to him next.

I want to tell you about

home title lock.

We know home title theft is a big problem.

We've been talking about it for a while.

Cyber thieves remove your home's title.

They're able to put their name on it.

They say they're the owner.

You want to get a home title lock because, well, you know, this stuff happens all the time.

I mean, there's a new hack every single day, it seems like.

There's a big breach that happened on Facebook.

500 million accounts were exposed to cyber thieves.

And according to a retired FBI cyber crime expert, everything thieves need to take over as the new owner of your home was leaked.

Talking about name, address, personal information.

It's probably out there somewhere.

Thief can forge your signature on a deed stating that you sold sold your home to them and they'll leave you in debt and you can even be evicted from your home.

Don't let this happen to you.

Go to hometitalock.com, register your address, and see if you're already a victim.

Then sign up for 30 risk-free days of protection during this high-risk risk breach that's going on now.

This

is

the Glenback Program.

Hello, America.

Usually on Fridays, we have Bill O'Reilly on, but Bill is the author of the most successful historic series in history of America, I believe.

He sold about 100,000 copies in the last five days.

It is another one of his killing books.

This one's Killing the Mob, and it's fantastic.

Bill's here to talk about it.

We go to him in 60 seconds.

The Glenn Beck Program.

Let me give you something positive to think about.

Buying or selling a home is a hassle.

If you're about to do either one of them, it might feel like there's a huge mountain of responsibility resting on your shoulders.

It could cost you big time.

Here's the good news.

You could get a great agent, and it's not hard to do.

How do you even interview real estate agents?

I didn't know the answer to that.

That's one of the things I questioned about five or six years ago.

Before I started this company, I was working with the 500 best real estate agents in the country, according to the Wall Street Journal.

I was doing work with them, and I was about to buy and sell a house, and I had had trouble before, and I'm like,

how do I even find a good real estate agent?

How do you, I mean, what do you look for?

And I got the lowdown, and I know exactly what to look for.

So we started a company that would do that for you and then offer our recommendation for free.

So all you have to do is go to realestate agentsitrust.com.

If you're looking for the person that has a great track record in your area, most times it's the best track record.

They are good at getting the best deal for you, either on the buying or the selling side, have great customer service scores, and we watch them like a hawk.

They don't work for us.

We just make sure that they always fall in line with all of the parameters that we have set up, that we say these are the best practices.

These are the things that will get your home sold fast and for the most amount of money.

Realestateagents I Trust.com.

That's how you find them.

Alcatraz Penitentiary, 9.45 a.m.

Al Capone has let his guard down.

It's shortly after breakfast as the man nicknamed Scarface works his shift, mopping the prison shower room.

It's a guy who once wore expensive suits and diamonds but now displays the standard Alcatraz uniform of a blue chambray shirt, trousers, belt, and shoes.

Capone is 37.

He's the former head of a notorious Chicago crime syndicate that earned profits of more than $100 million annually.

That's about $18 billion in modern currency.

He lived without fear of arrest.

He paid off the judges, police, and politicians to ensure his freedom.

And while he was once the most feared mob boss in America, reputed to have killed more than 30 human beings, he's now just another inmate in this escape-proof prison on a windy island in the middle of San Francisco Bay.

Capone knows he has enemies here at Alcatraz.

He has a reputation among the inmates for seeking special treatment from the warden.

The warden is James Johnston, who has famously declared that his prisoners are entitled to food, clothing, shelter, and medical attention.

Anything else you get is a privilege.

It's known as rule number five in the inmate regulation handbook.

It's the reason Warden Johnston constantly denies Capone's favors.

But that doesn't stop Capone from trying.

In one instance, he attempts to avoid the weight at a prison barbershop.

Get to the back of the line, you bum, says a fellow inmate, James Lucas, a 22-year-old Texan, known as a chronic hothead.

Do you know who I am, punk?

Snarls Capone.

Lucas grabs a pair of barber shears and presses the blade into Capone's jugular.

Yeah, I know who you are, grease ball.

And if you don't get to the back of the line, I'm going to know who you were.

That's just the beginning of chapter five of Bill O'Reilly's new book called Killing the Mob, and Bill joins us now.

Hi, Bill.

How are you?

Excellent read, Beck.

Very good.

I was riveted.

I wrote it, and I was riveted when you were reading it.

Thank you very much.

Tell the rest of the story because it's fascinating.

He leaves the barber shop, and what happens to him?

Well, he gets beat up, and

the guy who put the shears to his neck

is after him.

And

meets him in the shower with a razor and slices him pretty badly.

And then Capone, that's it for his life.

He deteriorates physically and mentally,

gets out of Alcatraz, goes to Miami, and dies in his early 40s, which is justice because what a horrible, horrible human being he is.

But the reason that we've

highlighted Capone in Killing the Mob is he's the template for organized crime today.

So what he did was he he elevated, we opened with Bonnie and Clyde, John Dillinger, all those people, but he elevated criminality to an organized level in Chicago and as you pointed out, took over everything.

I mean he bought the governor and the mayor and you know you can do whatever he wanted to do.

And then once that was successful and the money as you pointed out, billions of dollars in bootleg alcohol in today's prices.

Once that was proven to be successful, then that's how the organized crime then grew in that template to organize, to come into cities, New York, Chicago, LA, Philadelphia, Boston, buy up everybody, bribe everybody, and take over the rackets.

Prohibition was repealed.

Then they went in heavy the gambling, extortion, prostitution, vice, and the unions.

So that's how it all evolved.

And Al Capone, a famous name, but boy, what an awful, terrible human being.

Why did Elliot Ness go in, if anybody saw the movie The Untouchables?

It's just a great movie with Sean Connery and Kevin Costner.

But it's clear that in Chicago, everybody has been paid off.

Why was it that Hoover didn't go after and use the FBI to go after these guys?

Hoover took over the FBI in the 30s and assassinated, literally, the FBI assassinated, all the bank robbers.

It wasn't like come out with your hands up.

It was, the FBI catches you, they're going to pull a bullet right between your eyes.

And that's what happened to all of them, Bonnie and Clyde, John Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, Babyface Nelson.

Hoover was in charge of that.

But then when it came to the Italian mobsters, Diego Hoover would not investigate, would not put the FBI on their trail.

Lucky Luciano, the first godfather in New York, his private papers say, and we have them,

the mob had something on Hoover, but doesn't say what.

Now, everybody knew J.A.

Grahoover loved the ponies, he was a gambler, and he was gay.

And so I do believe that the mob had something on Hoover, and that's why he didn't investigate.

So with Al Capone so out of control,

Franklin Delano Roosevelt knew that and was embarrassed that the federal government couldn't control this guy.

So they sent in the Treasury Department, that's Elliott Ness, that's the untouchables, and they got Capone on income tax evasion.

Which was not the, was that the plan originally?

The movie shows that that's the order to Elliott Ness was get him on anything you can get him on.

Okay.

Get him on anything.

All right.

I mean, so the guy files an income tax, but Capone files his income tax because he made $3,000 a year, and he's right around in the best, you know, come on.

Right.

So, and that's what the, that's what the drug people do today.

But here's the ironic part about all this.

So

Capone goes down, and then there's a TV show, The Untouchables, that was...

Do you remember that back, or were you too young for that?

Oh, I do.

I do.

I do remember it.

I remember it in reruns.

Robert Stack plays Elliot Ness, and that's the Kevin Coster part in the movie.

All right, so it's the same thing.

The Untouchables go after Elliot, go after Al Capone, they get him, and then the series is All Italian Bad Gangsters.

Well, the real gangster, gangster, the godfather of Chicago, Sam Giancana, did not like

that TV show in the 50s.

The producer of the show was Desi Arnaz.

Lucy, I love Lucy.

He produced it.

All right.

So Giancana hand delivers a letter to Desi Arnaz says, hey, knock off the Italians, make the bad guys other esniphies.

Where upon, Desi Arnaz writes a wise guy note back to same Giancana saying, what do you want me to to make him Jews?

That day, Giancana takes a contract out on Desi Arnaz

and hires the assassin.

We have it all in killing the mob.

And I'm not going to tell you anymore because I want people to read the book, but Desi Arnaz came with this close to having a bullet in the back of his head.

I mean,

how powerful the mob was.

Yeah.

And Desi Arnaz was a very powerful person in television.

Most people just think of him as, you know, Lucy's husband on I Love Lucy.

He was the secret behind Lucille Ball's success.

I mean it was he and Lucy through Desi Lou that did Star Trek and The Untouchables and a million other shows that people know.

And Arnaz

Arnaz thought that

he was invulnerable because he was so powerful, as you point out.

Correct.

But what Arnaz did not know was that the mob controlled much of Hollywood through a guy named Sidney Korshak, who was not a mobster.

He was a lawyer.

And the movies

that we all saw in the 50s and 60s, a lot of the TV shows, they were all paying organized crime money

to produce the shows because the organized crime controlled all the unions.

The cameramen, the lighting, the sound, and they could shut down a production in 10 minutes.

And nobody knew it.

Americans didn't know that the mob was controlling the film industry, and the mob could walk in and say, We want you to put this guy in that part, and we're going to take 15% of your gross.

They did it all the time.

So,

who are the ones that really cleaned this up?

You had Elliot Ness.

What happened to him after Capone?

He committed suicide

in Pennsylvania.

Do we believe it was suicide?

Yeah,

Yeah.

That was the apex of his career, and then he retired

and just didn't have a very good life and took his own life.

Wow.

I'm sad.

And then who was the

go ahead?

Go ahead.

No,

I guess I can think of three names.

I can think of Elliott Ness, I can think of RFK, and I can think of Rudy Giuliani as the three guys that just were relentless.

Were there more?

No, because

it had to be very, very

centralized.

Organized crime was so powerful in this country between 1946 and 1962, they controlled everything.

The unions?

Yeah.

And that's what the power base was, the unions.

To this day,

Organized crime in New York, where I am, controls many of the unions.

And I have a thing in the United States of Trump where Trump and I are discussing, if you want to build a building in New York, you've got to deal with the mob now, today, this very moment.

Oh, yeah.

And we name all the names and all of that.

Bobby Kennedy is the hero of the book because Bobby Kennedy came in as Attorney General, defied his own father, who had mob ties, Joseph Kennedy.

His brother was kind of punchous pilot, agnostic about it.

And Bobby Kennedy went after the mob with a ferocity never before seen at the federal level and did did them huge damage.

And then what he did led to Rudy Giuliani and the RICO statutes and new federal laws.

And Giuliani hurt the mob bad in New York as a U.S.

attorney in the Southern District.

Hang on just a second.

Let's pick it up at RFK here when we come back.

10 seconds station ID.

We're with Bill O'Reilly.

His new book is out today.

It's called Killing the Mob Bill.

The Kennedys, we know that

Joseph Kennedy was a bootlegger and involved with the mob.

We know that the mob in Chicago was involved with funny business, if you will, on the election of 1960 that got John Kennedy into office.

And we also know that he hung out with all the people that you would associate in popular culture, Frank Sinatra, etc., with the mob.

Why was his brother?

so anti-mob when the family had benefited from the mob and

Jack was kind of living up the life with

possibly the mob, at least in my opinion, you would know best.

Excellent questions.

Let's just start from the beginning.

Joseph Kennedy, the patriarch of the Kennedy family, was a powerful man.

He was the U.S.

ambassador to London before World War II.

And this was a very powerful, powerful person.

He didn't bootleg.

He didn't actually, he wasn't in the Capone business, but he did have and hold contracts to distribute wine for communion, Holy Communion.

Okay?

He

was the one during Prohibition that supplied the wine to the tens of thousands of Catholic churches in America.

And you can imagine how lucrative that

contract was.

So

that's how it got into he was a bootlegger.

He was not.

He was a shrewd businessman.

All right.

He also

was a big Hollywood guy, running around with all the stars like Gloria Swanson and things like that.

He really wanted to be president himself, but he kind of screwed that up when he was the ambassador of London, right?

Yes.

He was pro, not pro-Nazi, but he was soft on him.

So

anyway,

Joseph Kennedy and Sam Giancana, the godfather of Chicago, were friends.

They would dine out in public.

Kennedy went down to Fountain Blue to see Giancana, who owned a piece of that hotel, Miami Beach.

So the deal, as you accurately said, was that Giancana would deliver Illinois to JFK in the 1960 election, which Giancana did.

Richard Nixon knew it was a fraud, but Nixon never said a word, which leads to speculation about what they had on Nixon.

Anyway,

when

JFK was elected president, the mob celebrated.

They were so happy because

now we have the presidency.

Now we run it.

Okay.

So Kennedy appoints his brother Bobby as attorney general and Bobby goes after the mob with a ferocity never before seen in this country.

Why did he do it?

His father was pounding him.

JFK didn't like it.

He goes, Bobby, can you just pull back a little?

Bobby says, no, I'm going after Hoffa.

I'm going after Giancan.

I'm going after everybody.

Where did this come from?

My opinion

of Bobby Kennedy is he was the only really good Kennedy that was actually trying.

He believed in something and he was fighting for the right.

What else is the answer besides that?

Well, he was driven.

Bobby Kennedy was driven.

So I spent some time with Robert Kennedy Jr.

Because I asked the same question that you asked, and I had no answer.

And we don't, Dugard and I don't depend on what other people have written.

That's why these killing books are so successful.

It's all fresh material.

So Bobby Kennedy Jr.

told me in a roundabout way,

not in a direct way,

that his father felt slighted by his grandfather because his grandfather clearly favored Joe Kennedy, who was killed in World War II, and the president, JFK, where Bobby was kind of the outlier along with Teddy.

Teddy was considered kind of the dunderhead of the crew.

Bobby was smart, but

he didn't get a lot of attention.

So the theory, and I believe it, is this little payback to dad from Bobby.

That's quite the payback.

Quite the payback.

So

you have to understand one thing, that Bobby Kennedy went in

hating corruption.

He just couldn't abide it.

And there was so much corruption.

But what Bobby didn't know is that Sam Giancana's mistress, Judith Exner,

was also his brother's mistress, JFK.

That fouled everything up.

All right, we're going to get into that here in just in a second.

We're with Bill O'Reilly.

His new book is out today, Killing the Mob.

I highly recommend and urge you to buy it.

It's a great read, really great read.

Bill,

we were talking about RFK and him going after the mob.

Is this the closest we have come since the 1930s of actually ridding ourselves of the mob?

I mean, how much did he reduce it?

About 50%.

He caused the mob to basically

restructure how it does business.

And remind me to tell you why the mob loves Joe Biden

before we depart.

Okay.

So he reduced it by 50%.

How did he do it?

And

why wasn't he killed by the mob?

Okay, so

by exposing Jimmy Hoffa as a mob stooge

and showing how organized crime used the billions of dollars in union pension funds to build Las Vegas and do other criminal activities,

the

secrecy of organized crime was exposed.

Soon after that, Congress passed new laws called the RICO laws, which made it easier for the federal government to spy on the mob.

For example, John Gotti, the last of the flamboyant Dons, hung out in the Bergen Fish and Hunt Club in Queens.

Well, the mob wired that place,

picked up all the conversations with Gotti and his mob friends, and Gotti wound up in an Illinois federal penitentiary where he died.

You mean the FBI wired the place?

Yeah.

Yes.

Well, it was under the direction of the U.S.

Attorney in New York, so it could have been somebody else, but we assume it was the FBI.

But anyway, that all happened because Bobby Kennedy exposed the evil

that was consuming America driven by organized crime.

And remember, before 1958, when the mob controlled Cuba, they bought Batista, the dictator there, and they were building Las Vegas.

Bugsy Siegel, the Flamingo Hotel, was the first one.

Before that, the mob didn't do narcotics.

All right?

But Vito Genovese, probably the most evil human being ever to walk the ground in the United States,

he was able to force

the families to go up against Luciano, lucky Luciano, the first godfather, and then they started the narcotics traffic, which has led to millions of deaths and ruined lives in the United States.

Why do you say he was the most evil?

I mean,

you are, I mean, you're in

quite the evil company.

How do you describe it?

I mean, you've got to really go.

I mean, it's like evaluating the Nazis.

Who was the worst?

I did that killing the SS.

But Vito Genovese, he was the

driver of the mob taking over the narcotics traffic.

And to this day, 80%

of the drugs sold in the United States come from organized crime.

And the opioid stuff and all that, that's the mob.

So anyway,

Bobby Kennedy's exposure of Hoffa, and we take you through Hoffa's assassination minute by minute.

I think that's the first time it's ever been done.

Basically,

put the pressure on a federal government to go after organized crime.

But there has not been one president that has really devoted time to this issue.

Not one.

But the favorite president of organized crime of all time is Joe Biden.

You want to know why?

I do know why, but go ahead.

All right, Beck.

So

in 107 days, since Biden has dropped all of the Trump border policies, 400,000 plus foreign nationals have come to the United States.

400,000 people.

Many of them children.

That means the Border Patrol and all the feds down there have to tend to those people, feed them, house them, process them, put them on buses wherever they want to go.

What has suffered is drug interdiction.

They've stripped that and they're using that to process the migrants.

So at this time in history, as we are talking on Tuesday, the 11th of May, more narcotics are in the United States of America than ever before.

And the mob controls the distribution of drugs all over the country.

They don't sell them anymore on the street.

That doesn't happen.

They franchise that out to the gangs.

And the gangs are the ones committing all the homicides in Chicago, New York, LA,

a town near you.

Those drug gangs are who's killing everybody.

The mob does not sell the drugs.

It allows those people to do it in return for a massive payment every month to whatever family is controlling that area.

They love Biden because Biden has clueless, has no idea this is happening.

And we did a search on billorilly.com.

I have very good investigators to try to find one article, one report that has told the American people what I just told you, Beck.

There has not been one.

Not one.

And that's just stunning.

Anyway, Biden carried the mob I think 80 to 20 or right in the last election so so wait so wait but they also are they still as deeply involved in the labor unions as they were because he has revitalized the labor unions and has made all kinds of promises are they still in the business of labor unions depends where you are So in the United States of Trump, I've got a chapter where Donald Trump tells me, as a builder in New York, he dealt directly with organized crime because he if he didn't he couldn't get his buildings put up because the concrete union is controlled by the mob out of Staten Island and Trump was very candid about it he goes I have those guys in my office and then you know we make the deal and that's that's who who does it so it depends who you where you are okay

but the labor unions traditionally have allowed gangsters mobsters to dip into the pension funds get loans that are of course, interest-free to finance whatever activity the mob wants to finance.

That's what Hoffa did.

One last question before we go, Bill.

I know you covered this in killing JFK, but why did the mob

were they involved at all?

I mean, the rumors are always been, well, you know,

Kennedy was killed by the Cubans and the mob.

He was, you know, RFK, you know, that was a setup by the mob.

It makes sense because of, you know, cutting into their business by 50%.

Were they involved at all?

No,

because it doesn't make sense from a business point of view.

So if you read Killing Kennedy, that is what happened to JFK.

You want to know what happened?

Read Killing Kennedy, we document the whole thing.

Now, the mob wanted to kill JFK and RFK.

They wanted to assassinate them, but the family Dons, the guys in charge, knew if they ordered the hit, it would get out.

And then what would happen?

Then the full weight of the federal government would be war, almost like a declared war on organized crime.

Their business would be wiped off the face of the earth.

So they did not do it in either a case, in either assassination.

What they did do, Beck,

is have Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated.

And we write about that in Killing the Mob.

So Jack Ruby was a low-level mobster in Dallas, the Carousel Club.

Okay?

He had terminal cancer.

He knew he was going to die in a month.

He killed Lee Harvey Oswald.

There has never been a reason stated.

Okay?

Why did Ruby do that?

Some people say, oh, he loved JFK so much, he just wanted revenge.

That's bull.

All right?

Ruby walked into a well-guarded, well-secured courthouse

and pulled his gun and shot him from 10 feet away.

He did it because Oswald was signaling that he was a Patsy.

Remember that?

I'm a Patsy.

Okay?

Oswald said that.

And when he was walking, and the cameras picked it up.

What Marcello in New Orleans, who was really running Ruby, he was the godfather of New Orleans, Carlos Marcello.

Okay, what he feared was that Oswald was going to blame the assassination on him

and organized crime.

Oswald was going to say, they paid me to do it.

They made me do it.

And that's why Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald.

And that's the first time that that's ever been put out there.

We have it in killing the mob.

We run it down, and that's what happened.

I do have one more question.

I know I said it was going to be the last question.

I do have one more question.

Isn't this

what you've had in months?

No, it's just easy.

Here's the question.

You know, Bonnie and Clyde, they were, by the way, because I'm a Texan now, I know this.

Bonnie and Clyde were killed by the

Rangers,

not the FBI.

But

the FBI provided all the intel.

It was the Rangers that killed him.

Anyway, when you have back in those days, some of these guys were beloved.

Some of them were not.

But there's always been this love-hate relationship

and, you know, kind of this Robin Hood kind of thing or romanticizing of all of this.

And then when the FBI comes and there's no trial for any of these, they just shoot them all they assassinate

right for americans to live with that shows that americans had had enough so what is the truth there would were we romanticizing them just for a while and then we were sick of it or what happened okay uh what do i have two minutes yes okay less than

americans hated the banks depression banks are throwing uh people out of their homes foreclosing on farms hated them Bank robbers come in.

The folks were helping the bank robbers.

The press got onto it, made the bank robbers Robin Hood, just like they did with Jesse James and Billy DeKids.

Same thing.

That sells papers, okay?

Fast forward to modern times.

The Godfather, Bonnie and Clyde the movie, Beatty and Dunaway, The Sopranos, all of that.

These actors are so powerful, so brilliant, so good, that even though they're doing bad things in the movies and TV shows, they're sympathetic figures.

Killing the Mob tells you the facts about it.

All of these people, Bonnie and Clyde, were the worst.

They would put a bullet between a child's eyes

if that child was inhibiting whatever they wanted to do.

All right?

And that is the value of Killing the Mob, the book.

It's the truth for 300 pages about how

one of the most evil institutions ever created existed and to this day

exists and hurts this country.

Killing the Mob.

I will tell you that it is a book you're not going to have an easy time putting down.

It's really well written.

It is, I mean, especially if you're a guy.

I mean, if you're a guy, mob and Nazis, I could watch documentaries and read books about them forever.

This is really well done.

Bill O'Reilly, thank you.

We'll talk to you Friday.

All right, Bec.

Thanks for having me, and I really appreciate it.

You, Beck.

So, I have to tell you, earlier this

broadcast, we talked a little bit about the transitory hyperinflation and what is being done on all fronts.

It is really something that I hope I am wrong.

I hope that the Federal Reserve is right, that this is a transitory hyperinflation.

This is going to go away quickly.

I don't think I am.

And if you've listened to the program lately, I don't think you think I'm wrong either.

The dollar is in serious trouble.

And if you are not prepared when the hammer comes down, you can lose a lot, not just through inflation, but when we switch over to another currency, let's say we have digital U.S.

dollars.

They're going to offer you, they're not going to give you one-to-one.

They're going to offer you an amount of money for whatever you have in the bank and whatever you have in dollars.

The Glenn Back Program.

We need to restore the natural order of things.

I don't want to live in a world where liberals are the uptight ones and conservatives do drugs and get laid.

Once upon a time, the right were the ones offended by everything.

They were the party of speech codes and blacklists and moral panics and demanding some TV show had to go.

Well now that's us.

We're the fun suckers now.

We suck the fun out of everything.

Halloween, the Oscars, childhood, Twitter, comedy.

It's like woke kids on campus decided to be all the worst parts of a Southern Baptist.

And that's wrong because it's cultural appropriation.

If Democrats had always policed morality as hard as they do now, they would be down a lot of heroes.

Bill Maher, who is seemingly one of the only people on the left calling out the crazy woke nonsense coming from the Democrats and the left right now.

And

one of the points he makes there is really important.

It's not only wrong, it's not only oftentimes racist and all this nonsense that goes along with wokeism, it also makes for a really boring world.

A world where you can never say anything and no one is entertaining and no one is interesting because they're all bland woke dullards.

And that might be the biggest offense of them all.
