Glenn revisits a story of unexplainable forgiveness after an Amish community was shaken by a murderer and asks how this differed from America’s reaction to Derek Chauvin’s convictions. Was justice done yesterday? Glenn goes to the phones to get his listeners’ reactions. Journalist Jason Whitlock joins to review the final Chauvin trial verdict and discuss what could happen next. Both sides of the aisle bashed Nancy Pelosi for thanking George Floyd for "sacrificing his life for justice" Has America forgotten the image of Lady Justice? Charlie Sheen is an icon of decadence.

I lit the fuse and my life turns into everything it wasn't supposed to be.

He's going the distance.

He was the highest paid TV star of all time.

When it started to change, it was quick.

He kept saying, No, no, no, I'm in the hospital now, but next week I'll be ready for the show.

Now, Charlie's sober.

He's gonna tell you the truth.

How do I present this with a class?

I think we're past that, Charlie.

We're past that, yeah.

Somebody call action.

Yeah, aka Charlie Sheen, only on Netflix, September 10th.

I want to take a minute and

talk about adflegal.org slash back.

you know,

being shut down on being able to talk at work,

COVID restraint, whatever it is.

We found it.

Among over 1,500 cases they're involved in,

the Equality Act, fighting for little girls' right to wear a mask that says Jesus loved me in public school.

They do it all at no cost to their clients.

We don't have any time to waste today.

I want to get right to the big news of the day, and that is the Chauvin trial.

We have a lot to cover, but I also want to hear from you, 888-727-BECK.

I want to hear what are you feeling today?

What are you thinking today?

What is the message that you think needs to be said in America?

We go there in 60 seconds.

The Glenn Beck Program.

I don't know.

Tonight I'm doing a special on the economy, and you really, really need to see it.

I'm going to highlight some of the stuff coming up in hour number three of today's program, but inflation is already going through the roof.

It is, there are troubled times coming.

We're going to have a boom and a bust.

And please, please have your financial house in order, and now is the time to do it.

The people to call is American Financing.

If you have high-interest credit card debt, please roll it into your mortgage, if this is right for you.

Roll it into your mortgage.

That way, you can pay off the high interest debt to the credit card companies, and you have it under one loan that is three, maybe even in the twos, two, three, four percent.

You're going to save a buttload of money.

If you're looking to buy a house, please don't buy too much of a house.

But if you need a mortgage, they work for you, not the bank.

Whatever your financial needs are, they can help you.

It's American

Financial, AmericanFinancial.net right now.

I'm sorry, not financial.

One of the

one of the greatest memories

on a day of tragedy for me has to be October 2nd, 2006.

I don't know if you remember what happened on that day.

But a guy named

Charlie Roberts

walked into a one-room Amish schoolhouse.

It was a beautiful Monday morning, unseasonably warm.

He was 32 years old.

He was a dad, father of three young children.

He walked into the schoolhouse and ordered the boys and the adults to leave, then tied up 11 little girls between the ages of 6 and 13, and then shot them.

He killed five of them,

injured the others, and then he killed himself.

It was

when evil came to town.

I mean, there's nothing more peaceful than the Amish.

And if you've never had a chance to be in an Amish community, you know, or go to an Amish community,

next time you're in Pennsylvania, which might be, you know, never,

you should go to Amish country.

It is beautiful and the people are amazing.

They're amazing.

And here comes this monster into this school and he shoots these innocent little girls.

And it is,

it was one of the most shocking scenes I had ever seen.

And it was a horrible, horrible day.

Everybody was talking about the little girls.

The news was focused on the little girls.

What was really

what made that day so memorable to me

was when the Amish were still gathered in a barn,

waiting to find out whose child was alive and whose child was dead.

Still waiting to find out if their daughters survived.

There was a knock on

Terry Roberts' doors.

Terry Roberts is the mom

of the killer.

And it was an Amish man named Henry.

And he knocked on the door.

They had already talked inside the house.

We are going to have to move far, far,

far away.

We're now parents of a mass murderer.

And how can this community,

I mean, we can never face this community.

Then came the knock on the door from Henry.

And Henry said,

We don't see you as our enemy.

We lost our daughters today,

but you lost a son.

Now,

can you imagine

what that felt like as a parent?

On the day of Charlie, the killer's funeral, 30 Amish men and women, some parents of the victims, came to the cemetery and formed a wall to block out the media cameras.

These were parents whose daughters had died at the hand of the guy they were burying.

And they did the work of blocking the media.

And then one by one they went over and expressed their deep sorrow for the mother's loss.

That's probably all you know about this story.

But I have to tell you:

when you actually

put into practice

what you believe,

miracles happen.

Four weeks after the shooting,

the Roberts were invited to meet with all of the families in a local fire hall.

Now, can you imagine your son killed these parents' children?

One mother looked across the fire hall

and held

the gaze.

Both women looked at each other.

The mom of the killer, who was grieving the loss of her son, and grieving all of the ones that he had killed, and the mother of one of the daughters that had been killed.

This mother mother looked over with tears in her eyes and said, We're all grieving.

We're all trying to make sense of the senseless.

There's a word in black cursive,

and it's on a it hangs above a big double-pane window in Terry Roberts' sunroom.

The sunroom itself was built by the Amish.

And as they gave that to her,

they gave her a sign that just says forgiven.

Now imagine how hard it's been, but as time went on, The Amish went on.

They

it wasn't empty words.

They embraced her as as a member of the community.

She was in the hospital with stage four breast cancer.

One of the girls that her son tried to kill cleaned her home before she returned from the hospital

around Christmas time.

The Amish came to her house to sing Christmas carols.

These people know

how to live.

These people, I mean,

me personally, I think they do they have electricity.

I think that that's the that's the other group that doesn't have electricity, right?

The Amish just have horse and buggies, but I think they can.

I don't, I don't know.

I don't want to live like them,

but you know what?

I don't want to live like this either.

I think I'd rather be Amish.

I was looking for that yesterday.

I can't find it.

These families have found a way to come together.

Yesterday,

you had people saying, this isn't justice.

Well, it may or may not be, and not the way you mean it.

I don't know.

I wasn't in the jury room.

I mean, there's a lot of evidence that they had to go through, and the jury, I mean, in Minnesota, you have to be

100%.

All jurors need to agree.

In just a few hours, they all agreed on all three.

Really?

Because I would think there would be might be a struggle a little bit.

Now, again, I wasn't in the courtroom.

I don't know the jury instructions.

I don't know Minnesota law.

But really?

I pray

that these people were not trying to send a message to the rest of the world, not trying to send a message to

the community,

not trying to send a message to anybody who might harm them if they did otherwise, but actually were looking at the facts of the individual case.

And I wasn't there, I don't know.

All I know is I didn't hear anybody talk about the family of Chauvin yesterday.

Did you hear anybody talk about his family?

There's two people involved here.

There is

the victim

and the perpetrator.

Both of them have families.

Both of them now have lost their son, their daughter, their husband,

their father.

Both families have had tremendous loss.

And I can guarantee you in Minneapolis, if you are the family of Chauvin,

you are thinking today I should move far, far away from here.

You are thinking, how am I going to stay close?

Close enough to be able to visit him in prison.

Because close enough to visit him in prison is not far enough away from the people who would do me harm, call me racist.

You know,

justice was done yesterday.

We all saw the video, and we all saw something that horrified all of us.

Now,

I personally don't think that

rises to the level of murder, but they define it differently in Minneapolis and in Minnesota.

It's a different standard than the one you and I are used to.

So, again, I don't know.

I'm glad he

is paying a price, but is this price right?

But was

justice

done?

See, people are looking for social justice, and social justice is not real.

Collective justice is not real

because you're asking for something to happen that is impossible to happen.

When men are involved, miracles, mistakes, and murder will happen

because

men are flawed.

People must pay for their sins, and they will.

And that's up to God.

We need to make sure people pay for their crimes.

And

all we're doing right now is playing musical chairs.

I personally think America was on the mend.

I thought America was struggling to be a more perfect nation.

And that takes time.

And I think that the progress that we had made from

1950

or 1960

to the year 2000 was astounding.

Astounding.

Was it right?

No.

Did we made real progress?

Yeah.

Racism still exists?

Yeah.

Bad cops?

Yeah.

Bad priests?

Yeah.

Bad, you know, bad artists?

Bad TV people?

Bad whatever?

Yes, because it's a collection of people.

Miracles,

madness, mistakes, and murder all happen

when you have a group of people.

I want to hear from you today, 888-727-BECK.

But I urge you to ask yourself this, because I haven't heard this from anyone.

I haven't heard this from anyone.

I watched TV last night.

I haven't heard it from anyone.

Everyone has an agenda.

We have an amazing opportunity to reset,

to take this, even if you agree or don't agree with the verdict.

It's the system.

And I'm going to talk a little later about how the system has failed.

And the system has failed because it failed to protect people who were to be the

jurors.

It failed to protect the possible innocent

because information was held back.

Can we just

look at this story today

as just a story because this is all it's supposed to be?

A story about two men.

George Floyd, not a perfect man, but didn't deserve to die.

Chauvin,

not a perfect perfect man, but not convicted of racism.

Nowhere in the trial did they say, and he was racist here, here, and here.

Oh, he has a long pattern of racism here.

That's what this story has become, but that's not what this story is about.

I would ask that you would ask yourself, how am I going to serve my nation best?

What is the thing that I can do today that will serve my nation

best?

And the best thing you can do is serve your God.

And the best way to serve God is to serve your fellow man.

Is anyone thinking

of

all

families?

I pray for all of them.

Back in 60 seconds.

Our sponsor, this half hour, is Relief Factor.

For years now, I've been telling you about Relief Factor.

I've been telling you what an amazing product Relief Factor is.

I told you my story, how I was in so much pain I could barely function,

couldn't function some of the time, and how my wife encouraged me.

Basically said, I'm not listening to you anymore.

Let's just try everything.

So I tried Relief Factor.

I never thought it would work for me.

I mean, it's all natural.

What are you talking about?

All natural.

And it's going to reduce inflammation.

Oh, no, come on, back off of that one.

I've tried Ibuprofen 800.

I mean, I've had the strong stuff, sister.

It's not a drug.

There's no way this stuff is going to work for me.

Holy cow, has it changed my life?

And 70% of the people who try it go on to order more because it changes them.

It works.

Now, it may not work for you, but just try it for three weeks.

Within three weeks, weeks, you'll know.

After three weeks, stop taking it if it's not working.

800,500, 8384.

70% of the people go on to order more.

800-500-8384, it's relieffactor.com.

10 seconds, station ID.

Another thing I really want to know, and then we're going to go go to the phones after the break.

One thing I really want to know is what does the Star Tribune

think would be,

is necessary?

What facts are helpful by revealing the details of the jurors?

I mean, the media really,

really

wanted to

out the jury.

CBS News did a newscast revealing the details of the jurors.

New York Times promoted a story on social media under the banner 12 jury members and two alternates in the Chauvin trial remain anonymous.

Their faces can't be shown on camera, but here's what we do know about them.

And then the Star Tribune

ousts the jurors.

I mean, and it's not hard.

If you live in that area, it wouldn't be hard.

But just to be helpful, the Star Tribune told us about juror number two.

He's a white man in his 20s.

He's from Minneapolis and works as a chemist.

Okay, now hang on just a second.

It goes on and tells more.

Why, if you are living in Minneapolis, you have a job, you know, around people who are chemists, one of them you know is out on jury duty, or one of them you know has been gone for three or four weeks, you now know who that is.

And I'm sure they're going to be completely restrained, completely restrained on Twitter.

No one would ever out these people.

We are.

We have got to separate ourselves from the mob because that's where we're headed, mob rule.

This is the Glenback program.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

We go to Maryland and Al.

Hello, Al.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

Hey, Glenn, thanks for having me on.

You bet.

After the verdict yesterday, I was sad, mainly sad for America.

And then I woke up this morning angry as I watched social media.

And I have to say that I'm a black man.

I may not sound like one, but I am.

And I'm so tired.

of this false narrative of quote-unquote justice and systemic racism in America.

I'm just tired of it.

I've had it.

You know, we had a young girl, seven-year-old yesterday in Chicago, get shot in her car in McDonald's, drive-through, no outcry.

And

I look back at George Floyd, and I want to respect the criminal justice system.

I really do, but I'm having a hard time with it this morning because I feel like this man.

I want to ask you why you feel that way.

What is causing you to doubt?

I mean, I have my own issues, but I want to hear from you.

What is causing you to doubt?

I feel like this man, Derek Chauvin, was guilty even before the trial started.

He didn't have a chance.

And I'm not sure.

And I wasn't there, as you indicated, but I have a sneaking suspicion that all the facts were not laid out.

And I don't even know if they even

dealt with the issue of this man being high on fentanyl.

Yeah, they did.

And so, oh, they did.

Okay.

Well,

they did.

And it was.

Yeah, I mean, I think he,

from what I can tell from a distance, he received a fair trial.

I don't think he had the best representation, but he received a fair trial.

Where it goes off the rails for me is

the jury was not sequestered.

It shouldn't have been held in that city.

The jurors

had to,

had to worry about what would happen to them, their children.

You had one juror, I'm sorry, you had one person that testified on behalf of Chauvin, and he got up the next morning and had a severed pig's head and pig blood all over the front porch of his house.

I mean, those kinds of things play a role,

as does

waters coming in

and

showboating before the jury is sequestered.

You have the president coming out.

I mean, even the judge said, I think there's a good case for a mistrial here

or for

a new trial.

And I wish everyone, the media and the politicians, would shut their mouths and respect the process.

Nobody did.

So I think the fair trial thing broke down because of the leadership of our country.

Yeah, that's exactly right.

What the president did yesterday was so irresponsible.

And so I woke up angry, and then I called my good friend Bob Woodson, who you've had on your show several times.

And

he talked me off the ledge.

He said, we need to do as Mother Teresa, we need to increase our faith.

And he reminded me of the story of David and Goliath.

And he says, we are the David.

He indicated that the low-income black American who's been used used as a pawn in all of this

is a sleeping giant.

And we need to cultivate them and help them rise up to counter this false narrative that's, by the way, being promoted by people who are probably making six figures or more, who have made it, who have been successful, and now crying racism.

That's the part that just I struggle with, and I'm tired of it.

So I got some hope from Bob.

He's doing yeoman's work.

We need to give him all of our resources and promote these causes and band together to counter this narrative that's coming from big tech, the politicians, and the media.

Because their numbers are not that great, but they own the platforms that are promoting this narrative, and we need to counter it.

I agree 100%, 100%,

including with Bob Woodson.

What he's doing is God's work.

Stu, can you look for his email email address, or not his email address, but his website so I can direct people there?

Unless, Al, you know it.

Do you know it?

It's the Woodsoncenter.org.

Okay.

That's very hard to remember.

Woodsoncenter.org.

Thank you very much, Al.

Appreciate it.

We cannot be part

of the problem.

We have to be.

We have to be a unique and unusual people.

We have to be a peculiar people.

We have to be people that

the rest of society goes, what is up with those guys?

If we pile on and we become

just part of the same

noise, we make no difference.

No difference.

And,

you know,

I watched Titanic with my daughter the the other day.

And

she didn't want to watch it.

I know, dad, everybody dies.

And then the lady takes the diamond.

And, yeah, okay.

I said, you haven't seen it.

It's really good.

And she watched it with me.

And

when it was over, she's like, I'm so mad at you.

Why?

Because I'm going to cry all night and I have to watch it again.

Now it's her favorite movie.

But i watched it the other night and a time is coming when this ship is going to lift up out of the water

just like it did in titanic it is going to stand straight up and down now

remember that that ship

was a skyscraper

that was That was in a time when you didn't have skyscrapers.

That ship was so long, it was like a 12 or 15 story building standing up in the water.

And do you remember what all the people were doing?

They were all sliding into the sea and they were all panicked.

We cannot be the ones panicked.

We have to be the ones that say, over here.

Over here, over here.

I've got a lifeboat over here.

And you won't be able to be that person

if you're angry.

We have to find a way to where we can actually live like the Yamish.

We can live the principles that

we preach or we say we claim to be.

You know, a lot of these problems are caused or were caused by...

people saying one thing and doing another.

I mean, I don't give this to the

I don't give this problem to the founders.

The founders did everything they could, everything they could to stop slavery.

Everything.

And

they did the best they could.

I really blame this on a lot of Christians that,

you know, were going to Bible class, being taught by their preacher in the South that slavery okay.

Now, I don't know how you make the case for slavery.

And then after that, all the people like the Klan who carry the cross for the Lord.

It's a perversion.

I was talking to a friend of mine.

He said, I was just talking to

a rabbi.

And he said,

we Christians misunderstand.

And I wish I could remember exactly what the phrase was, but he said, we misunderstand.

He said, it's a mistranslation

of

don't take the Lord that God's name in vain.

We think that means don't swear.

What the translation actually is, is don't carry the Lord's name in vain.

So in other words, don't do evil.

and say you're doing good in his name.

And we got a lot of, I don't know if you saw the press conference yesterday, but we got a lot of those people.

And that's the real problem.

We have a lot of

proving to be done to show that we are not,

that we are people that are different.

We're not racist.

And I don't say you have to prove that.

You don't have to prove that.

You just have to be different.

You just have to be different than everybody else.

Because everybody can say that.

You're not.

I'm not.

So now don't be part of the group that is just parroting those things that nobody believes.

And don't be part of the angry mob.

And don't

and pray for those who are part of the angry mob on either side.

Can you imagine, I just read a story yesterday

about how,

well, here it is.

There's a new study out,

and it shows the majority of young white female liberals have a diagnosed mental health condition, a majority of them.

White liberals are significantly more likely than other racial and ideological groups to be diagnosed with mental health conditions.

This is the findings from a Pew Research Center survey, yada, yada, yada.

Nearly half of young white liberals, 46%, report being diagnosed with a mental health condition significantly higher than the percentage of young white moderates at 26%,

46% for liberals, 26% for moderates, and conservatives 21%.

Now, why is that?

I, you know, if we take this at face value,

and I was going to say I'm not a doctor, but actually I am.

But

we take it at face value and we look for easy things.

It's because you're being raised in a hopeless world.

There is no hope.

I have to tell you, I could not do this show.

I couldn't do it.

My job is to read all of this crap.

My job is to filter through all of it and see what's important, what's not, what you need to know, what I can bring perspective on.

It is the worst.

it used to be fun it used to be great it's the worst

because i'm swimming in this crap and it's not easy to keep a healthy attitude the only way i can do it is i believe

in something bigger than me i know i can look at this trial and say

I think there should be a retrial of this.

I don't know if that will happen.

And I can work to do whatever needs to be done to make sure that justice happens for both sides, no matter what color.

But you know what?

In the end,

oh, there will be justice.

There will be justice.

And I know that sounds trite and like, oh, really?

You're down to that?

Yeah, I am down to that.

I am down to that.

But it's a great place to be

because it is the source of all hope

it's the source of all love it's the source of every answer we need so yeah i'm not down to that i wish i would have started there

that's part of the beating down process you know god will have a humble people and we are anything but humble

and so we're going to be beaten into submission.

We will be.

And not by our fellow man.

I mean, that may be the way it manifests itself, but for our own good, we will be beaten into a humble people.

And when we're humble and we realize we're not in charge,

we can't vote for anybody.

We can't do anything

ourselves.

We can only do what we're supposed to do and live the way we're supposed to live and fight for the things that are real justice,

individual justice, not social justice, personal justice, not collective justice.

Look for the real truth, not the woke truth, and let the chips fall where they may.

Then God will handle everything else.

And he won't be thwarted.

I don't know what that means, but if it means that we have to be the grist, that I have to be the grist, or you have to be the grist, as long as I'm with you, I don't wish this on him,

and we are the

oil between the gears.

So when the machine starts up, others can be

living in justice.

Good.

Okay.

All right.

Then that's our role that we play at this time.

And that's okay.

I'll play that role because I believe

in the future.

And it's not just about me or my wants.

It's it's about the future

all right our sponsor this uh half hour is timeshare termination team timeshare termination team i mean if you have a timeshare i just went to lunch with some guys uh yesterday and uh they were they were like uh

Tonight on Glenn TV.

I apologize for talking so much today.

888-727-BECK.

If you're holding, hang on.

We will get to you today.

888-727-BECK.

More on Chauvin and Floyd.

Next.

Let me talk to you about American financing.

Tonight I'm doing a special.

Remember during the Obama years, I used to say, watch the other hand.

Whatever they're doing right now, watch the other hand.

The other hand is at the printing press, and it is going to cause some massive, massive disruptions.

You're going to have a boom and then a bust.

And

you need to be prepared for it.

So please call American Financing at 800-906-2440 and get a refi of your mortgage, of the loan that you have.

You could get it down into the twos.

And I will tell you that part of the problem is going to be it's going to get harder to get a loan soon, especially if the Fed insists that these banks don't raise the interest rate, which they say they're going to do.

The banks are going to start foreclosing on

if you miss it in 10 minutes because they'll be missing too much money.

Things are changing.

Go to AmericanFinancing.net right now, 800-906-2440.

They work for you, not the banks.

What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

This

is

the Glenback Program.

I've heard hours and hours and hours of experts talk.

I want to hear from you.

888-727-BECK.

How are you feeling today about the Chauvin trial and the verdict and how everything was handled?

Where are you?

And I would urge

my goal today

is to

be a positive influence in the country and to do my part to

look for the road ahead and what can I do to help my nation.

I would urge you that you would think that way as well and then let's talk about what happened.

I also, I think we have Jason Whitlock on here sometime this hour.

I really want to hear his opinion on this as well.

888-727-BECK.

We go there in 60 seconds.

The Glenn Beck Program.

So pain has gotten aggressive with you.

Yes.

Is it dull?

Yes.

Is it aching?

Yes.

It's all of these things, okay?

They gave you like 20 different options.

And I'm like,

all of these.

If you're in this boat, please try something new.

It's called Relief Factor.

Before I go to Jason Whitlock, I want Jason to hear

a couple of people on the phone because a lot of people are saying the same thing.

And

let me go to Paula in D.C.

Hello, Paula.

Line five.

Hey, Glenn, it's Paula.

Thank you so much for letting me share how I'm feeling today.

I'm in Washington, D.C., so I really don't have opportunities to

keep it real.

But

when I watched the verdict yesterday with my friend, my heart just sank.

I felt a great deal of sadness, and I felt

some anger come up, and it was really not against

anyone.

I think it was more against like the politicians and the environment and how

black people,

it seemingly

through the like through politicians narratives that

they need to be victimized constantly.

And

I've been working on a project at the United States Chamber of Commerce for six months that's under restoration.

And I can't tell you how many times we have been shut down

and what downtown D.C.

looked like last summer with things boarded up,

safety issues.

And it's one thing to hear it on the news, but it's another thing to live here and see the destruction

and the chaos.

and allow people to happen.

People don't even

until you've walked walked the streets of New York or Washington, D.C., or I'm sure Minneapolis.

I mean, people, you know, people wonder, why is the price of plywood so high?

Well, maybe because so many businesses have been boarded up because of

trouble.

It's really

destructive what has happened and demoralizing to walk

on those streets.

So I can relate to you on that, Paula.

Thank you.

And the other thing, too, is like

during the protests with the Trump supporters, I actually, and I haven't told anyone this, so now everyone gets to hear this.

I told my friend, I dressed up in black.

I had a medic bag, and I went and I stood with Antifa to see for my own eyes what was going on.

Like I was incognito.

And I can tell you that there were no shenanigans happening.

I was right up there.

This wasn't during the Capitol, but this was the one before.

Tons of people, completely peaceful,

no shenanigans were going on.

And I just kept that in my diary that I'm keeping of my eyewitness.

But what you see on the news was completely different.

And, you know,

what touched me the most, what touched me the most was your story about

the Amish.

And

oh, I'm going to get emotional.

Sorry.

What that brought up for me is how important it is for me to forgive.

Like,

that's been on the forefront of my mind since Easter that, like, look.

I'm like you.

I'm a recovering alcoholic.

Next week, I'll have 21 years of continuous sobriety.

I'm grateful.

I have a higher power.

You know,

I'm a deeply flawed person, and I believe that if I can forgive others,

if I can forgive others in my small little world, that's what I can do to be, to add to the nation's healing, if you will.

You know, Paula, you give me so much hope.

I mean,

you give me so much hope because that is the answer.

And And that's the reason why I told the Amish story.

That's the problem.

We are being told there is no forgiveness.

I didn't own slaves.

I didn't have anything to do with the Jim Crow laws.

I've spent my whole life doing the best I can

to

be open and to see people as people, forget about color.

Now we're being told that that's wrong because they're moving in the opposite direction.

They are moving back towards racism.

It's not a movement to move us forward.

It's a movement to move us backward.

And they're being told there is no forgiveness.

It's only collective forgiveness.

That is a lie.

In fact, it is a,

and I use this not with a capital A, an antichrist teaching.

It flies in the face of everything we know about the Judeo-Christian God.

And it is a destructive lie.

And that's why I told that story of the Amish today.

This is a horrible story.

The country has been under attack for the last year.

A guy who wasn't an angel, but he didn't deserve to die.

He's dead.

Family,

everybody's surrounding that family.

Okay, that's good.

We should mourn with them.

But also, let's not forget the other family that just lost a husband, a dad, a son

to prison now for 40 years.

He didn't get up.

He was not convicted of racism

and he was not convicted of

murder with intent.

They define it differently in Minnesota.

That's why the murder is being used.

In any other state, that wouldn't be defined as murder.

That would be manslaughter.

So He didn't get up to try to kill anybody.

There was nobody that was saying, oh, you don't know this guy.

He's so racist.

And yet that's what this story is about.

There's no racist that is going to jail today.

They didn't make that case.

It wasn't even part of the case.

We have to forgive each other because that's the only way we can move on.

Jason Whitlock, let me go to you.

I'm sorry to make you hold.

But I wanted you to hear at least one voice of people.

Because I am seeing in the phone calls that are stacked up and I'm hearing from from phone calls, people are

sad today.

They're afraid of where we're headed.

Give me your perspective

on the verdict yesterday.

Well, I want to first piggyback off your comment.

I think people are justifiably confused.

Like,

what are we doing here?

What direction are we heading in America?

We've always been headed in the direction of expanding freedom, expanding fairness,

moving against

a race-based worldview.

And now we're pivoting really quickly and really passionately the opposite direction.

And it's a byproduct of technology.

In terms of big tech and the way we communicate now

is

cheap

and

not substantive.

Because again, Glenn, when you think about those of us in our 50s, you know, we grew up in homes with one phone in the home, no call waiting, one record player, one, maybe two TVs in the home.

But now there's just, and so I think like communication has been cheapened and it's been dumbed down to a point

where it's just much easier to lead people the wrong direction.

And social media promotes an anecdote-driven worldview.

And

may I just interject here on, you know, you're talking about how it's been cheapened.

I didn't know anybody that ever wrote a letter to the editor.

Because you have to sit down, think about it, write it, put it in an envelope, get a stamp, get the address, send it in.

I mean, it took forever by the time that thing was out.

Now,

everybody's writing a letter to the editor, and it's all of equal value.

And only the ones that are the hotheads are the ones that make it to the top.

I mean, what are we expecting to happen?

And again, so someone that would write a letter would really be passionate and probably really informed on the topic, and they would take the time to do that.

And now all it takes is 10, 30 seconds to write out a tweet that says, I hate you.

And so

my reaction to the verdict was I thought that to me, clearly, I thought Derek Chauvin was

guilty of manslaughter.

I don't think he had an intent to kill.

I do think he was a bit drunk on his power and a bit distracted by the crowd harassing him.

And that combination turned lethal for George Floyd.

However, having said that, I'm just amazed at how big tech and corporate media working together have us so focused on George Floyd and other resisting criminal suspects and what happens to them.

And I know people get tired of hearing it, but I'm just amazed.

A seven-year-old girl got shot and killed sitting in a McDonald's drive-see window.

No one cares.

There's no

question

around a seven-year-old girl.

And I'm just amazed that, and again, I because this isn't about anything real, Jason.

This isn't about actual justice.

This isn't about anything.

This is about political power, capital,

and

in some cases, actual dollars.

Oh, no, actual dollars, I wouldn't even say in some cases, in a lot of these cases.

There is money to be made

in

championing resisting criminal suspects, black suspects who are killed by white cops.

There's lots of money.

Patrice Colors Khan makes up a hashtag, and now she has four homes scattered across America and has a deal with Warner Brothers and all this other stuff for making a hashtag and pretending like she cares about George Floyd.

There's a lot of money being made.

It's look, Al Sharfton

takes a picture of himself getting on a private jet to go be with

George Floyd's family.

Again, all the messaging is, look at, I've made it, I'm flying on private jets, all off the backs of criminal suspects resisting arrest and pretending like their life has 10 times the value of these kids that are being and some adults being slaughtered in the streets every day and we ignore that a seven-year-old girl she had no shot at life she's experienced nothing she's done no harm to anyone and she's slaughtered and no one cares.

It's mind-blowing to me and I get why people are like,

American values are being changed rapidly, rapidly.

I mean, this is just overnight, and it's all driven by social media.

I'm going to say this, and it'll irritate some people, but again, if you go look at how America on a dime changed on same-sex marriage.

That's the influence of social media.

That's the influence of Twitter and amplifying voices.

And Jack Dorsey says it, that that's the goal of social media and Twitter to amplify voices that he deems need to be amplified.

And again, I said it last time I was on your show.

I have great sympathy for the LGBT community and how we have demonized their sin

and

not demonized our own sin.

Excused our sin.

I get it.

And so there needed to be a correction

among us believers and Christians.

We needed to correct our behavior as it relates to that.

But I'm not, again, it's just like I said, there's reasons why I haven't gotten married.

And so everything is not for everybody.

Jason, I appreciate it.

I've got a network break I have to hit, but thank you for

the

reason

and the logic that you're using today.

I really appreciate it.

Jason,

you bet.

I mean, at least I don't.

I mean, you know, when sugar and butter become good for you, let me know.

This is why I avoided eating Bilt Bars and anything, said protein bar.

It's a healthy snack.

So yesterday, Nancy Pelosi

strode up to a microphone and she said this.

So again, thank you, George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice,

for being there to call out to your mom.

How heartbreaking was that?

Call out for your mom.

I can't breathe.

But because of you and because of thousands, millions of people.

Please stop.

I can't take it.

I can't take it.

Listen to this.

Listen to this.

Thank you, George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice.

Okay, first of all, he didn't sacrifice his life for justice.

His life was taken from him.

Maybe because of the police officer, maybe a combination of things, including the police officer.

But

he didn't sacrifice his life.

And if you would have had him on the ground and said, hey, George, do you want to die for justice?

Or would you you like to live another day, even if it's just for, you know, doing nothing with your life, which would you prefer?

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't say, I want to die for justice.

Martin Luther King died for justice.

He sacrificed himself for justice.

He knew what that meant.

George Floyd didn't.

So now she's taking somebody who didn't volunteer for the job and saying, hey, thank you so much for the sacrifice.

How arrogant, how arrogant is that?

And by the way,

we don't try

in American courts.

We don't try causes.

What was on trial and apparently yesterday, because you hear it now from all the pundits, it's not enough.

It's not enough.

Enough for what?

You can't bring him back, but you're not looking for justice for him or his family.

I'm sure his mother, and I heard his brother say it, I feel good today because I feel justice was served.

Okay.

So what more do you need?

You're wanting a justice called social justice, which goes against every American and quite honestly, Judeo-Christian principle.

More in a second and your phone calls.

There is so much information out there, and we give it out all the time.

All the time.

Well, cyber criminals are out there and he or she, why would I say, why would I say he?

What sexist cyber criminals could be all females.

We don't know.

But anyway, the cyber criminal is out there and they're looking for your information.

They're just looking really honestly one piece of information, your name and address.

Because they can probably get the name and address and then find the phone of the social security number and piece all that stuff together on the the dark web.

So how many pieces of your information

is out there?

How many pieces of information are now being sold?

Because all they need to do is take your information and then they can do all kinds of things, take your identity, take your tax refund.

They can take all kinds of things, take out loans in your name, and then you're left with a mess.

Where's the justice?

Jessica and Virginia, thank you so much for holding.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

Hi, Glenn.

I was just calling originally I thought I felt hopeless and scared but your positive message really

helped uplift my spirit

what I'm concerned about at this point is yeah

what I'm concerned about at this point is what this will do

you know I think one of the problems we all admit is they'd like to make sure we get qualified police officers.

I come from a family of law enforcement.

It's really scary to see.

You know, I hear when they used to put out a posting for a job, they'd get over a thousand applications.

Before this trial, they were getting 60, and they're not really happy with the qualifications of the candidates.

And I wish people would see if we want better cops.

We can't just villainize all of them.

Yeah, that is, again,

thank you for bringing this up, Jessica.

And I'm glad

you're not as hopeless as you were when you started the day.

And please spread that on to somebody else because others are feeling hopeless today and sad.

I think we were all sad yesterday because

this has destroyed so many lives, not just George Floyd, but also

the life of Officer Chauvin, his family, the family of George Floyd.

It was taken and used for political reasons, and it destroyed how many businesses and how many families across the country over the summer.

And it's divided us, and it's left us feeling empty inside

because

we don't even know what justice means anymore.

So please,

please share your

feelings today with others because I can guarantee you somebody else is feeling the same way.

But try to help them see it from a different

angle.

See, this isn't about, this is not going to be solved by us saying, it's Black Lives Matter.

It's these socialists.

It's these Marxists that are trying to change everything.

We need to say those things.

We need to be aware of critical race theory.

We need to be aware of

social justice.

And the difference between social justice, which is a collective justice, and the justice that we all know from the New Testament.

That is an individual.

Jesus came down, and yes, He was going to save all mankind, but He doesn't go, all right, everybody's good now, everybody's good, I died for everybody collectively.

Because if He did that, it wouldn't require us to accept it.

All justice is individual, and that's why social justice, in my opinion, as the way it is being touted right now, is

so

evil.

Because it dismisses the individual.

I can't tell you if justice was served yesterday.

I think Chauvin should have paid a price.

But I know that the Minnesota law defines murder differently than you and I are used to.

I also wasn't in the jury room, and

I wouldn't have wanted a jury for this.

I think our system failed the jurors.

Because I don't, if I were a juror, I wouldn't have felt safe.

I wouldn't have felt safe.

I'm more upset at

our politicians and our media than I am at the judicial system.

I still have enough faith in there going, well, you know what?

That was 12 people and they heard it.

And, you know, sometimes you're going to get it wrong.

And I hope we always err on the side of letting someone go who might be guilty than putting an innocent man into jail.

But I don't know.

Here's what I want you to take away today.

America does not understand

the image of lady justice anymore.

And this is an important thing to teach and to teach your children.

Because once you understand that

icon of justice,

you understand how things, what we are striving for, and what man has strived for from the beginning of time.

And when we strive for lady justice, things get better.

When we distort or forget it, things go dark quickly.

So

let me remind you of this statue of this lady and who she is.

First of all, she's dressed like she's dressed.

She's wearing a toga because she comes from

the Roman goddess or the Greek goddess.

You can even find Lady Justice in the same kind of form in Egyptian mythology.

This is an ancient symbol.

The judges are kind of dressed in a toga sort of outfit as well because it is a

tip of the hat to Lady Justice, if you will.

Now what is she holding?

How is she dressed?

Where is she standing?

Well, most people will know that she's blindfolded.

She has a sword in the right hand and it's double-edged.

Why is it double-edged?

She's holding scales in the left hand.

Why?

Well, let's start at the scales.

There's two reasons and they're both really important.

And this is why people may feel out of sorts today and felt out of sorts, honestly, with O.J.

Simpson and maybe a million other trials.

And it's why African Americans have felt like there was no justice for so long.

Because the scales weren't in balance.

The scales in her hand, she has, because she is to differentiate truth and fiction, but she does that with the scales,

facts and evidence.

Just put on the scales, facts and evidence,

and let me see.

how the what the outcome is.

Now put a pin in the scales for a second because it's really important we come back.

The sword she's holding represents Lady Justice making the decision, but also having the power to enforce that decision.

If you see a statue of Lady Justice,

at least an old one for sure,

she's standing on a snake.

Why is she standing on the snake?

Well, this goes back to

this goes back to the Old Testament.

This goes back to

you shall have the power to crush his head.

This is evil being crushed under the feet

of a woman, Eve, or Lady Justice, or mankind.

Justice is there to stop evil.

Now, the biggest thing we have forgotten, we haven't forgotten the sword.

We have forgotten really about the evil, but we don't think in terms like that usually anymore.

I mean, unless you're a religious person.

Oh, no, they're not evil.

They're just bad guys.

Okay, well, sometimes they're bad guys.

Sometimes it's evil.

But the lack of justice is definitely evil.

The distortion of justice, collective justice, is evil.

So let's put the the whole thing into perspective.

She's holding the scale.

She has the sword.

She's trying to stop evil.

The most important thing on Lady Justice is the blindfold.

She cannot see.

Now, you would argue, well, how is she going to do justice?

That's why there is no justice.

Nobody does anything about the crimes.

It's right in front of her face.

Take her blindfold off.

she doesn't have a blindfold so she can't see the crime she's weighing the crime the evidence of the crime on the scales

what she cannot see is the person who is standing in front of her

because she's a judge

and so she is not to know is this a friend of mine is this a powerful person is this a person with a long record that might taint my view but has nothing to do with this case?

Is this a guy who's white?

And I know we're all upset about Black Lives Matter, so

No.

If the evidence is important, put it on the scale.

But no one receives a different standard in trials and justice because of their position or lack of.

It doesn't matter what she thinks or what she sees.

Judging is based on the number of evidence and the facts placed on her scale.

This is what we are supposed to be about.

And many people on both sides don't feel that that has happened in the past or don't feel that it is happening now

because everything is emotionally charged, and the courtroom is supposed to be the one place that has no emotion when it comes to the law.

Judges are never supposed to take decisions emotionally.

Juries are supposed to look at the evidence in the law, and they're not supposed to factor in their own feelings.

They're not supposed to factor in what their family might be thinking, what the press is saying, or what they know they might face outdoors.

This is why you feel like something's wrong, because you know

you couldn't do it.

You know, if your family, if you lived in a community and if your name got out,

you could be dead, you'll be harassed, you could lose your job, your kids would be forever

beaten up in school, or maybe if they're in a private school, be kicked out.

You know, you couldn't do it,

or it would be very difficult.

That's why we feel something is wrong, because we're not sure.

And when you are judging, putting someone in prison for the rest of their life,

when none of the evidence, none of the evidence that was even offered, I'm not saying that it was fake evidence, the prosecution offered zero evidence, didn't even attempt to say that Chauvin was a racist.

That was about cops.

Well, that shouldn't enter the courtroom

and

definitely should not enter the jury room.

You know, in the old, old, old, old days, thousand years ago, judges

were actually blindfolded.

In India, it happened, where they would blindfold the judges,

and they would sit there listening, blindfolded, to make the decision.

Let me go back to the scales

because this is the other part that I think we're missing.

The scales are facts and evidence, truth and fiction.

But after

you've decided, Those scales are now held by justice and the judge.

And And it's justice and mercy.

Justice demands a price be paid for the death of a man.

But how much?

Because we must be a merciful society as well.

All we have to do is restore the image of Lady Justice.

and know what it means and then fight for those principles and everyone wins if that happens.

I don't care what your color is.

Everyone wins if Lady Justice becomes what we've always strived to make her.

You are listening to the Glenn Beck program.

Tonight, we are going to take a break from the Chauvin trial, and we're going to show you why we have to start watching the other hand again.

You know, a lot of this stuff is misdirection.

You know, they're voting on

in the House, Washington, D.C.

being the 51st state.

Tomorrow, they're doing that.

Tomorrow, they are doing that.

And we could get all up in arms on that.

Or we could ask: what else is going on?

All of these things that are happening that are so emotional, what else are they doing?

Tonight, I'm going to show you, and it is going to impact you and your children for the rest of your lives.

It is the economy.

We are now looking at spending trillions and trillions of dollars.

What's happening now in Washington with a spending spree will end our currency as we know it.

It's only a matter of time, and the charts and the graphs that we're going to show you tonight

are

mind-boggling.

Just what's happening in the stock market is mind-boggling.

I thought it was bad inflation.

Oh, I had no idea.

No idea.

But I will tell you this.

I have a really big sweet tooth.

I mean, I grew up in a bakery.

It's in our blood.

For five generations, we were bakers.

And so I didn't like to bake, but I love donuts and cake.

I love it.

And I love sweet things.

Just, I can't, I just,

I can't live in a world without sugar and chocolate.

I can't.

And so I have a really hard time when I need to snack, especially at night.

Well, Built Bar is something my wife wanted me to try because it was a protein bar and it's healthy for you.

That's the wrong approach.

That is the wrong approach.

It's real chocolate.

It's really good.

Don't tell me it's a protein bar.

Don't tell me that it has net three to five carbs.

Don't tell me any of that because that always tastes like crap.

This is unbelievable.

Caramel brownie, cookies and cream, raspberry chocolate, mint brownie.

Oh my gosh, they're fantastic.

This

is

the Glenback Program.

You know, the the one thing I don't see the corporate media doing, and sometimes, you know, other media online, I don't see them asking honest questions.

I don't meet very many people anymore that say,

well, show me the facts.

If you really have the facts, I've changed my mind.

So that's the way we're supposed to be.

And that's what we should be doing is asking honest questions about what's really happening in our world right now.

Everybody's trying to win, or as a political point of view, let's ask some honest questions.

And we're going to do that with a guy who I think does it for a living, Josh Rogan.

And we're going to start with China and the Wuhan virus.

Why can't we question COVID?

And when we do question COVID, what do we find

in 60 seconds?

The Glenn Beck Program.

Hey, if you missed the beginning of the show, the first two hours, we did everything about Chauvin, the first two hours, really powerful hours that I think you really want to hear.

So

sorry, I'm just not a.

The government is spending money at historic levels and our national debt is at historic highs.

Will Biden's so-called infrastructure deal push America over the edge?

Glenn warns, all signs point to a major economic disaster, the end to private savings and private spending, and the birth of a state-controlled digital dollar.

Watch dollar decimation, how Biden's spending spree could end our currency as we know it tonight, 9 p.m.

Eastern at Blazetv.com slash Glenn.

Josh Rogan is

an author, and he has had access to the top U.S.

officials from the White House and in our foreign policy machine.

And he has written a new book called Chaos Under Heaven.

And

it talks about our relationship with China and what happened under Trump and with the Wuhan virus.

Welcome to the program, Josh.

How are you?

Great to be with you, Glenn.

Thank you.

So

thank you for at least asking honest questions and letting letting the chips fall where they may.

I don't know why we can't talk about where the virus came from.

I don't think that it was a man-made virus that was intentionally released.

I think there's a good chance that it did come from

the Wuhan

Institute and it accidentally was released, but I don't know if we have any proof of that.

Tell me about what you have found.

Well, that's exactly right, Glenn.

As it turns out, the origin of the coronavirus is not a political question.

It doesn't matter if you're on the left or the right.

It doesn't matter if you like Trump or if you don't like Trump.

It doesn't matter if you're a Democrat or Republican.

It is simply a scientific and forensic question.

And probably the most important question that we have to answer in order to solve the crisis that we're in and prevent the next pandemic.

Yet, for over a year, we've been told that just to even utter, just to even mention the possible, still yet unproven, but certainly possible theory that the outbreak began due to human error in one of these Wuhan labs, just to mention that was considered quite impolite and quite out of bounds in Washington

society and in the media for a number of reasons.

So before we get into the reasons, let me ask you, but

we knew something was wrong.

I mean, talk about the Wuhan cables.

Yes, so what I reported at the time, and then again in this book, was that for years there have been concerns amongst U.S.

diplomats and others about these Wuhan labs, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the largest repository of bad coronaviruses in the world, where U.S.

and Chinese scientists were working together to create viruses, not create, but to use science to develop viruses into versions that were more virulent, that could infect humans more easily and therefore were more dangerous and more transmissible.

And then when the outbreak break happened right next to these labs,

there were a lot of people inside the U.S.

government who wanted to look at these labs and who saw these reports from years ago about concerns about these labs, but they were unable to do so because of the political environment and because of the things that were going on inside the U.S.

government and in the U.S.-China relationship, including that the Chinese government was blackmailing the U.S.

government into not asking any questions and also blackmailing a lot of other countries and also lying about the origin of the virus and covering up the sciences and jailing the scientists and jailing the journalists.

So there was

a very extensive and well-funded campaign led by the Chinese Communist Party and also the friends of this lab, the American friends of this lab, whose careers were tied in with the lab, who had a clear conflict of interest, who were telling all the journalists, you better not talk about the lab.

And by the way, we don't think the lab did it.

And because we're the best friends of the lab, we're the best people to tell you that they didn't do it.

So So there was a perfect storm of horrendousness that combined to push us towards this idea that we couldn't look at these labs.

And then here we are a year later.

And of course, now we have Robert Redfield, who is the CDC director, doctor Tedros, the head of the WHO, and many other people, including many scientists, saying, hey, listen, we got to look at these labs.

It doesn't matter what political side of the spectrum you're on.

So now we have to look at these labs.

And that's the bottom line.

And we've wasted a year.

We've wasted a crucial time and energy and resources.

And the question is only more important than ever because it relates to how do we stop this pandemic from happening again?

We can't do that if we don't figure out how it happened in the first place.

Okay, so now let's go to why have they, why is it been?

I mean,

you're called a conspiracy theorist.

You're called all kinds of names.

You're shut down.

People have been shut down on social media.

Some have lost their jobs just for questioning.

Why?

Why?

Who's so powerful that this is all shut down like that?

You know, there's a couple reasons.

One is because of, again, this propaganda campaign that was run by the Chinese Communist Party, but aided and abetted by American scientists who are the best friends of the lab.

I'm talking about Peter Zazik, the EcoHealth Alliance, and all the rest who, you know, told us that it was a conspiracy theory because they didn't want anyone to look at the lab.

And then when the WHO did its report, they hired the same exact scientists, including Peter Zazik, to go look at the lab.

They went there for three hours, talked to the scientists, didn't see anything,

got some data, but not really all the data, and then came back and said, we don't need to look at the lab anymore.

And this is a cover-up, okay?

There's no other word for it.

It's a cover-up to distract us from the urgent need to look at this lab and also look at the other theories.

The whole point is that we need to look at all the theories and figure out what's what.

And wherever the facts lead, that's where we have to follow.

And it's really as simple as that.

And then in the media, the reason that

they picked up on this was because Donald Trump endorsed the lab theory.

And most of the mainstream media didn't want that to be right.

They couldn't bear with the fact that Donald Trump might have been right about something, despite the fact that he also did all these other things they considered horrible.

But even the broken clock is right twice every day.

And here we are a year later, and Donald Trump is no longer president, so it doesn't matter if he was right.

But the media still doesn't want to correct their error if it is an error because they don't want to get dunked on.

But getting dunked on is really not what's important.

What's important is protecting our country from this pandemic.

I was talking to Condi Rice last week, and she said something that I had not heard anybody say before.

She corrected me when I said rising China, and she said, It's a risen China.

It's a risen China.

It's not rising anymore.

It's going to get more powerful, but it's already at the table and it's a powerhouse.

What does the shift in

our president mean to China?

And I mean, because I am not for trade barriers.

I was strongly against trade barriers.

However, I was torn on trade barriers with China because China is just, they're out of control and they are not the friends of freedom

and not friends to us.

And so I was glad to see that we were taking a hard line on

China.

And now I feel like we'll just excuse anything again that China is doing.

Is that at all accurate?

Yeah, Glenn, I agree with almost everything that you said.

You know, when the Trump administration came in, what they did was they flipped over the chessboard.

They ended 40 years of what was largely a policy of engagement first, cooperation first, which meant betting on the idea that as China got more powerful, that it would liberalize economically, and then that would lead it to liberalize politically, and that would then solve the rest of our problems.

But it became pretty clear after Xi Jinping took power in 2013 and more and more over the years that that just wasn't happening.

China was going another way.

And actually they were abusing our engagement to advance their interests against ours.

And actually they were interested in changing the world order to make it safe for autocracy and repression and aggression of all kinds.

And that we were late to acknowledge that, much less respond to that.

Now the problem with the Trump administration's response, of course, is embedded in in the title of my book, Chaos Under Heaven, it was very chaotic.

You were there, it was a mess.

It was very dysfunctional.

And so it was hard for anybody to really understand what was going on.

And the factions fought internally, and Trump changed his mind on the tactics and all the rest.

And, you know, we didn't stand up for human rights against the Uyghurs and in Hong Kong.

And the trade war, you know, I could make an argument that the terrorists were useful, but because the trade war was executed in such a haphazard manner, it undermined its effectiveness.

But here we are four years later, and Trump flipped over the chessboard, and now the Biden administration has a chance to set it back up again.

And they could, if they choose, set it up in a way to give us back the advantage.

We still have the high ground.

We still have the best economy.

We still have the right.

We still have the position of moral

justification that we stand for the things that we believe in, including democracy, freedom, human rights, the rule of law.

And then we still have allies and partners who profess to believe in those things.

So we don't know yet if they're going to pull this off, if they're going to take this new approach that the Trump administration admittedly messed up at times but handed them and make it more international and more effective.

They could do that if they chose.

We just don't know yet.

What are the signs that show us one way or the other?

Have you seen anything yet?

Well,

absolutely.

So for right now, we have a lot of continuity.

And we saw, you know, we still have the tariffs.

I'm not a tariffs guy either, but hey, listen, that's leverage.

You don't want to just give them away.

You want to use them to get the things that you want.

The Biden administration confirmed that there's a genocide going on in Xinjiang against the Uyghurs.

Guess what?

There is a genocide going on against Xinjiang, against the Uyghurs, and now they have to actually do something about it.

So the indications are that they're, oh, by the way, they also haven't said that we can't talk about the lab accident theory.

The Biden administration confirmed that there was some shady stuff going on in the lab that they didn't admit to.

In other words, they want to get to the bottom of it.

They're not invested in the idea that we can't talk about the lab accident theory because they weren't there at the time.

So

who is it?

Go ahead.

No, no, please finish.

The indications are.

The indications are that they are open to a more

assertive, more aggressive policy towards China because that's what the American people want.

That's what the polls show that Democrats and Republicans want because the Chinese Communist Party's aggression now affects us in our own lives, in our schools, in our markets, in our sports, in Hollywood, in Silicon Valley,

everywhere.

So,

now that all Americans are woken up to this, especially if you're sitting in your basement scared of getting the coronavirus, you know that what happens in Beijing no longer stays in Beijing, and you want your leaders to do something about it.

And that's what the American people are calling for, and that's what the Biden team is starting to respond to, but it's not enough yet.

So, what was it that the Americans were doing that in this lab that

many Americans didn't want other Americans to know about?

What were they doing something nasty or was it just looked bad?

This is a crucial question, and this is a great question, because according to Robert Redfield, again, not a completely unproblematic person, but not someone who's bailing out the Trump team for the sake of it, according to him, the virus likely came from what's called gain of function research.

That's what they were doing there.

It's where you collect all these viruses from the wild and then you run them through mice that have lungs that are adapted to act like human lungs.

And you do that a few thousand times, and you see what happens.

And that's the idea there is to predict the next pandemic.

And wouldn't it be ironic if the program to predict the next pandemic actually caused the pandemic, sparked it quite accidentally, of course.

And the problem with that is that these Americans were doing this in Wuhan because this research had been largely banned by the Obama administration in the United States.

So they moved it to China where there was less oversight.

And now now here we are we're trying to get back into these labs.

It's basically impossible because the Chinese government won't allow it.

But what we can do is we can examine these American labs.

And that means the NIH and that means the NIAID, which is run by Anthony Fauci and the EcoHealth Alliance.

And this is what you see.

This is what you see in Congress.

More and more lawmakers standing up to say, okay, well, listen, if we can't get into these Wuhan labs, we want to know what all the American labs were doing in conjunction with them.

And we want to know were the procedures followed.

And if not, why not and if not and who's going to be account held accountable for that then we got to take a look at all this gain of function research because and this is going to blow your mind

the current plan to respond to the pandemic is to increase this research sixfold by spending another 1.2 billion dollars to collect 500,000 new viruses from the wild and bring them to labs all over the world.

It's called the Global Eviron Project.

And do you want to do this every year?

Do you want to have this problem every single year?

So my simple proposal, again, not a pro-Trump guy.

I'm not an anti-Trump guy.

I'm not a Republican.

I'm not a Democrat.

I'm just a reporter who would like to not have a pandemic every year.

And my idea is: let's figure it out before we six-fold increase this risky research.

Let's figure out if that's what caused the pandemic.

That would be helpful.

That makes me think

so.

No, and I think if we're going to do this research anyway, we should do it in the United States.

Shipping it off to China and having them do it in China where their standards are a lot lower than ours is insanity.

Insanity.

Not just Logan.

Go ahead.

The allegation by the Trump administration, which was confirmed by the Biden administration, by the way, again, not pro-Trump conspiracy theories, Jake Sullivan, all the rest, was that they took this research and then they had their own game going on with their military in a way that we didn't know about.

Okay, and that's the real danger here is that we think

we're just doing open science with a bunch of nice Chinese scientists.

But these nice Chinese scientists may be very nice people, but they don't get to make the decisions about what research happens and what they tell us and what goes on in these lands.

That's run by the party.

And the party acts as it acts, which is not in our

Josh Rogan, author of Chaos Under Heaven.

Chaos Under Heaven is the name of the book.

Josh Rogan, thank you for being on.

Appreciate it.

Our sponsor this half hour is AMAC.

We live in a country that has really lost its way.

We don't respect logic, law and order, basic decency.

It's all up in the air.

Well, how do we get it back?

Well, we have to have a few guardians.

We know we've lost our guardians of the media.

Who is watching the store and everything in Washington, D.C.?

Well, the Association of Mature American Citizens, AMAC.

It's an advocacy group that is now over 2 million members, strong and growing.

They believe in the values that constitutional conservatives care about.

They represent courage, faith, reason in trying times.

They stand for solvency and not the end of the dollar.

They have a full-time presence in Washington, D.C., and they are at the table fighting against

the guys who are fighting against our Constitution and our constitutional values.

And honestly, the

mature association that gives you all kinds of discounts on the other side,

they are very, very powerful.

And no one was standing up for mature Americans.

Nobody was actually standing up against, you know, the things that are happening in healthcare that will hurt senior citizens.

You need to join AMAC.

Stand with AMAC as they stand with us.

The cause is great.

The benefits are really, really good, too.

AMAC is better, better for you, better for America.

10 seconds, station ID.

You know, I,

oh my gosh.

Yesterday, the Biden administration officially came out and said that

they strongly support H.R.

51, the Washington, D.C.

Admission Act.

More than 700,000 people in Washington, D.C.

have been deprived of full representation in the U.S.

Congress.

This taxation without representation and denial of self-governance is an affront to the democratic values on which our nation was founded.

To make the D.C.

a state

is right, providing its residents with long overdue full representation in Congress while maintaining a federal district that will continue to serve our nation's seat of government.

They are asking for a, quote, orderly and swift transition to statehood for the District of Columbia.

That changes everything.

You add now another state.

I mean, we're at the point of the Missouri Compromise.

Honestly, we're at the point of the Missouri Compromise.

Missouri, the Missouri Compromise was because they knew if

Missouri came in and they were going to say,

let's expand

slavery,

it would tip the balance of everything.

They needed a way to bring Missouri to the table without

screwing up the political game that had been played for so long.

That's what's happening here, really, with Washington, D.C.

This is the Glen Pack program.

I'm going to tell you some things about the economy

next that I think are absolutely mind-blowing, mind-blowing.

I'm going to tell you about the stock market.

I mean, you look at the stock market, you're like, oh, it's going up, it's going up.

And I've been telling you for a while, that's inflation.

I had absolutely no idea until we started researching, I had no idea

what's really going on and how bad it really is.

Inflation is coming.

I believe a collapse of our dollar is coming.

So what are you going to do?

I don't buy gold as an asset to get rich off of.

I buy gold as an insurance policy.

So when the world goes mad, and have you checked the sanity of the world lately?

I have something left.

Right now, Goldline is offering 6% in free metals delivered directly to your door with qualifying self-directed IRA orders for retirement accounts.

They're waiting for your call now, 866 GoldLine, 866 Goldline, or Goldline.com.

Call them now.

How Biden's spending's free could end our currency.

As we know, it's a brand new special tonight, 9 p.m.

Eastern, Blazetv.com/slash Glenn, right after a brand new Stew Does America

tonight at 9 p.m., live on Blaze TV,

dollar decimation, how Biden's spending spree could end our currency as we know it.

This is

trouble coming our way.

Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble.

We, I believe, are going to see a

melt-up, and we're at the beginning of that melt-up right now,

where things are going to explode, and everybody's going to say, this is great.

And then trouble hits like nobody's business.

And I'll show you this trouble tonight and show you how to prepare your family.

I always told you during the Obama administration, remember, this administration is really being run by the Obama people.

And so it's the same tactic.

Don't look where everyone's telling you to look.

What else are they doing?

Well, they're doing an awful lot.

They've been busy this week.

They've been telling us that, you know, we're systematically racist, blah, blah, blah.

But

between doing that, what nobody is seeing is they're meeting with representatives to try to push through another $2.3 trillion

social infrastructure bill.

This is round one.

Round two will have another trillion dollars.

I mean, are we even counting the trillions?

We're spending at a historic rate.

The GDP ratio is now at 102%.

So we're now all of the money that we make,

all of the money that we make in a year, every bit of land and transactions and homes and wealth and everything that is our national product in a year, everything that we spend,

all of that taken.

And we're still down 2%.

It's

not going to be good.

Not going to be good.

We are spending now like it's going out of style, and I think money is going out of style.

The Fed has acknowledged rising inflation, but they say they're not going to do anything about it.

Remember, the Fed's job is to,

according to them, stop us from having collapse and economic depressions, and also to keep inflation under control.

They have a target for inflation, 2%.

Looks like we are going to be having inflation of at least 4%.

Let me just give you a couple of numbers here.

Commodity prices.

In the last year, lumber is up 265%.

How are we going to build new houses?

How are you going to build a house today

when the lumber to build it is 265%

over what it normally is?

And

when that lumber comes back down to normal levels, are you going to try to sell your house?

And it's going to be what?

100% more expensive than what you could build a new one for today?

Crude oil, up 210%.

Gasoline, up in the last year, 182%.

Heating oil, 107%.

Corn, 84%.

Copper, 83%.

Soybean, 72%.

Silver, up 45%.

Sugar, up 59%.

Cotton,

54%.

Natural gas, up 43%.

That's, and that's just, that's the raw stuff.

That's the raw stuff.

Coca-Cola said they're raising their price.

Good.

Another reason not to buy it.

Wheat and coffee are already up 10%.

There was a article out yesterday, the price of household staples, diapers, tampons, going to surge.

The

detergent.

Procter Gamble is saying they're going to raise the prices on almost everything.

Well, that's all of your home stuff.

That's everything that you buy because you have to buy it.

When you're looking at Scott toilet paper and Huggies diapers saying that by June, it'll be up almost a dime by June.

you got a problem.

Cereal is going to be up a dime.

That's Cheerios.

That's grape nuts.

That's even Skippy peanut butter.

Hormel Food says their ground turkey is going up.

Smucker has already boosted the price of Jif peanut butter and now saying it's going to have to hike its prices on everything else.

But don't worry, there's no inflation.

There is inflation.

There is inflation.

And the worst place,

the worst place, please, please hear this warning.

Please hear this warning.

Right now, we are spending so much money.

People are having a hard time finding people to go to work

and fill these jobs, but there's unemployed.

What do you mean we're having a hard time finding work?

The government is giving out so much money now that there's no reason to go to work for a lot of people.

I can make more money by not working than working.

People are the

outflow

from the government compared to the inflow.

I'll show you this chart tonight.

We had in 2019

we had

income that was coming in

this scale, and I don't know what it's marked in.

It might be billions of dollars.

It has to be, it has to be billions of dollars.

The income that the United States was making

was from taxes.

We're bringing in

$100 billion in a quarter.

What we are now bringing in is about $10 billion in the quarter, and we are outflowing in one quarter $650 billion.

That can't last.

The chart is crazy.

So the government is just pouring cash into everything, pouring cash into it.

This is the number that is staggering to me.

We know that people are getting into the stock market.

We know that the stock market has high prices and everybody is saying, oh, it's going to keep going up.

It's going to keep going up.

Over the last 12 years, the money that has poured in to the stock market, the new money that has come in, was $452 billion.

That's over the last 12 years.

And that's from people making money and having more money and putting it in.

Also, a result of the Fed giving these banks money and them using it to buy their own stocks, et cetera, et cetera.

But half a trillion dollars over 12 years.

Over the last five months,

the number that has gone in,

the amount of cash that has gone in, new money to buy stocks, is $569 billion.

In 12 years,

we put in less than half a trillion.

And in the last five months, we've put in over half a trillion dollars.

Where's that money coming from?

That money is not coming from anything real.

That money is coming from stimulus packages, and it's jacking up and juicing.

It's like the 1920s.

I mean, it's not real.

None of it is real.

And we're borrowing all this money.

And it will, it will, look, we're opening the economy again.

People have a pent-up demand.

They have money in the bank that they have saved.

And so now they're going to go out and they're going to spend.

So we're going to see a surge.

This is not anything to do with the Obama policy, even honestly, the Trump policy.

This is normal.

People are leaving their houses and they're going to go shopping.

They're going to go buy things.

They're going to go do things.

They're going to take vacations.

So you're going to see the economy go up, but you're going to see, you are going to see money coming at you like nobody's business.

This economy, I think, is going to be on,

I mean, on every possible stimulant

known to man.

It's going to think it it can fly and it's going to jump off a roof.

You always know you're in trouble when the water starts on the shoreline, starts to flow in real fast, recede from the beach, and it's just rushing to the ocean.

You're like, wow, that's weird.

I haven't seen that before.

And then what happens?

All that water that rushed in

comes at once in one big tidal wave.

That's what we're seeing.

What's happening on Wall Street right now?

If you were standing on a beach and that water were dollars, you would see all of it rushing like you've never seen before.

All of the money just rushing into the stock market.

That wall is going to come back down.

This is a,

what I believe

is

a controlled collapse, but I don't think you can control it.

I think these people are so arrogant, they have no idea what they're doing.

But there is a collapse of the dollar that is coming.

How do I know?

Well, right now, the United States government,

what have I been telling you for a long time in commercials with American financing?

Hey, lock in this interest rate.

So if you have a home, you buy it for 30 years and you can lock that interest rate in.

Okay, you got 3%.

Banks are going to hate you when the interest rates go up.

Well, why isn't the Fed, why is the Fed saying if we have 4%, 3% or 4% inflation right now,

inflation comes 5, 6, 8%, 10%.

You've got to raise those rates.

Why are they saying they won't do it for the next four years?

Because over the next four years, for the rest of human existence, the minute those interest rates start going up, it's like the United States has the worst loan idea of all time.

It's not just an adjustable.

We're selling them all the time.

We've got to get somebody to buy them.

The Fed's been buying them.

But as interest rates, if it goes up to 5%, 6%,

we're done.

We're done.

We don't have the money for the interest rate.

Just like you wouldn't have the money with an adjustable loan if all of a sudden we hit 20%.

You have some real protections.

The United States government doesn't have those protections.

You just can't afford it.

And so what happens to the dollar and what happens to you?

That's the topic tonight.

Eastern

sponsor this half hour is Hustler Turf man

Hustler Turf they are the these are the lawnmowers that we always saw cutting the grass of football fields or cutting the grass you know on the sides of highways because they were the ones who invented the zero turn lawnmower.

These were the ones that could cut the, you know, the cutting time of lawn down in by half easy.

And they were built for the industry.

So they were not built to

last a couple of cuts.

You know, well, you're going to be out once a week.

You know, so

52 if you're living in the summer and the grass is always growing.

You'll use it 52 times.

No, this is, they use these lawnmowers every day, eight to 10 hours a day, every day.

So they're built to last.

Well, they take in the same technology and they're the ones who developed it and invented it, and now they've put it into one for your home.

They are built like a tank.

There's nothing like them.

When you're looking for a lawnmower, make sure you find a hustler dealer and test drive a hustler turf lawnmower.

They're amazing.

This is the Glenbeck Glenbeck program.

We have Ruth on the phone.

Hi, Ruth.

How are you?

Hi, great.

Thank you so much for taking my call.

I've been holding, and a scripture came to mind while I was listening to everyone else that cuts through the chaos and crisis.

It's 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Something we can do besides vote, take a stand, boycott, you know, be brave, we can seek God.

But it says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

And it is up to us.

It is, and he will have a humble people one way or another.

We will be humble people.

That's right.

So

you wanted to talk about a mistrial?

Well, I'm disgusted by the woke mob, which I'm going to boycott.

I'm alarmed at the Soros-infused violence since George Floyd's death.

And I'm especially angered at Maxine Waters for throwing fuel on the fire.

The president did the same thing.

I'm horrified at the doxing of the jurors by the press

and the media.

And even the Supreme Court seems to be threatened

by the violence and by the mob.

And yeah, I see that coming.

He would not have a good lawyer if they did not do that.

I will tell you, I agree with you, Ruth.

And I think we are headed towards mob rule, which is terribly frightening.

And I say that, I wasn't in the jury room, so I don't know what they actually talked about.

However, when you have the newspaper in town doxing you and saying, hey, you know, this guy's a chemist and he's in his 30s.

Well, if I know chemists and I know one in his 30s and he's been gone for two weeks, you know, from work, I kind of know it's him.

And I think that's extraordinarily dangerous.

I think there were all kinds of messages sent and Maxine Waters was one of them that was sending that message.

And

I think she has opened up the door for a retrial.

Stu, you saw Dershowitz last night.

He was saying the same thing.

Yeah, he came on my show last night, Studos America, and talked about, he said that he thinks there's a real chance they're going to overturn this and have a mistrial because of vaccine waters and other comments.

Oh my gosh.

Will that just

set everybody on fire again?
