I get so many headaches every month.

It could be chronic migraine, 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more.

Botox, autobotulinum toxin A, prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine.

It's not for those who have 14 or fewer headache days a month.

Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor.

Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms.

Alert your doctor right away, as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition.

Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk.

Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck, and injection, site pain, fatigue, and headache.

Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms, and dizziness.

Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection.

Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS Lugarix's disease, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert Eaton syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects.

Why wait?

Ask your doctor.

Oh, you're going to be so glad to hear this.

You're going to be so glad to hear this.

Finally, the Republicans have been doing what all voters for Republicans have been clamoring for.

They're caving.

Now,

now they've decided they're going to replace Columbus Day with Juneteenth.

Okay, first of all, Juneteenth is something most of Americans don't don't even know what it is.

Okay, this is like for most Americans, it's the first year they've ever ever heard of Juneteenth.

It's a good holiday.

I like that holiday, but what are we doing now?

Now, all of a sudden, now we're coming to it and saying, no Columbus Day,

where

are the hearts of men?

I have a new understanding of, and in those days,

men's hearts will fail them.

Yeah.

What that means, I think, is the lack of courage.

Tonight,

we're going to restore a few things.

Tonight,

we're going to restore hope.

Restore courage.

Restore faith.

Restore the covenant.

Restore common sense.

More in one minute.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

Okay, one of the best things about having a good set of earbuds is that you can be listening to stuff in bed without disturbing my wife while she's trying to sleep.

You know, she's over there peacefully.

You know, while my brain is just vibrating between two solid walls of Norwegian death metal, I mean,

you haven't lived until you've really, when you've really gone to the wall with the Norwegian death metal groups.

You know what I'm saying?

Fortunately, I have the right earbuds for the job.

It's a pair of Raycons.

I will tell you that I have always purchased Apple AirPods because they're loud.

I'm practically deaf.

They're loud.

They sound good.

But they are so uncomfortable and they always fall out of my ears.

I mean, it's a good thing I don't exercise because I would lose the pair of AirPods all the time.

They're really uncomfortable.

They actually hurt my ears.

I don't know if you've felt that way.

But let me tell you about something I found.

It's the E25 earbuds from Raycon.

Now, the problem is the reason why I buy

the AirPods is because...

They are loud and they sound good and everything else sounds like crap.

So there's this middle space where I've been looking for that's not going to gouge my eyes out and still sound great.

That's the earbud that I now have from Raycon.

I urge you to get these earbuds.

As far as I know,

Raycon's not trying to control the world either or

flip us for communism.

So

you not only have six hours of playtime, seamless Bluetooth pairing, more bass, more compact design that gives you a nice noise-isolating fit, and they're comfortable.

You also,

you know, aren't paying, you know, a company to destroy America, which I think is nice.

Raycon, buyraycon.com/slash beck.

Go and see them online right now.

All right.

So here we are at the Standing Rock Ranch, a place that has been very, very private for me and my family.

We don't have guests here.

We just kind of,

I don't know, wrap ourselves in the blanket of this giant mountain and its fingers.

And we tune everything out.

And

it's a sacred place.

We were going to do restoring the covenant in Gettysburg, and then COVID happened, and, you know, God forbid we have more than three people together.

So we couldn't go to Gettysburg.

And I was haunted because I knew that the covenant was something that had to be done.

And I couldn't sleep at night.

I didn't know what to do.

How am I going to do a restoring event?

And then I came up here to the ranch

and I walked the land, and it didn't take me very long to skip my vacation and start working on this project.

And it airs tonight at 8 o'clock.

Please keep our producers and everything

in your prayers.

There has been miracle after miracle after miracle of putting this together.

I mean, I will tell you probably next week the miracles that have happened, but we need the biggest one

yet.

It'll be a miracle.

It'll restore my hope when it actually makes it on the air because we're in the middle of nowhere.

But tonight,

I urge you

to watch this with your family.

To call everyone you know that believes in God at all

and have them watch

and then have them act.

I urge you, I urge you, if you feel as though you have lost hope, which I completely understand,

to watch this tonight.

It will be on the Glenbeck YouTube page.

It will also be on Blaze TV.

I think we're putting it up on my Facebook page as well.

And it comes from a place of despair.

It really does.

I mean, in just the last few months, everything has become very clear, hasn't it?

I mean, just the press.

The press has gone from a different opinion to, gosh, they seem to be in the bag for a political party, to now a co-conspirator in what I think is going to be remembered by future generations as the biggest robbery in the history of mankind.

The destruction of American principles, the theft of American rights and our Constitution, the destruction, intentional destruction of the greatest economy in the history of our nation.

And what's worse

is the theft of hope.

You know, I've talked about these days for almost 20 years now, and I was insane every step of the way.

I was

I was called all kinds of names, you know, because I introduced you to the real roots of progressivism and that I talked to you about Woodrow Wilson.

No, I still hate that guy.

Even today,

the New York Times is still trying to defend him, but they can't in this new woke culture.

We exposed Acorn and the Tides Foundation and George Soros and the

money printing that we said that they would do.

We told you they would print money, we would buy our own loans, and in the end it would be the destruction of the dollar.

I was crazy every step of the way.

We introduced you to the communist plan from the 1940s to flip a country from capitalist-free to authoritarian without a shot being fired.

We introduced you to the madness and the evil of the climate fear-mongering just to control your life and to keep those in poverty impoverished.

I'm proud to to say I think we were some of the first to be called racists because we dared call the president a Marxist and that he was encouraging the radical left, which was very different than liberals.

We told you about all of these things,

and we told you that their goal was to reshape the world closer to their heart's desire,

and they were moving the entire world.

And we also told you that because

they couldn't bring the rest of the world to American standards, they would drag us all down to the standards of Mexico.

We exposed Cloward and Piven, the communist plan,

and you knew it was true.

And the left, we have done some calculations, and we figure it's taken about $100 million

in free advertising or

research or whatever they might have said.

It took about $100 million

to destroy my reputation.

But in doing so, they perfected a machine that they're now using on everybody.

On everybody.

The reason why there's no courage is because they have trained you to fear the mob.

They have trained you to believe that they could smear you, mob justice would come for you, lies, deceit, intimidation.

They perfected that machine, and it's working well.

All the while, we scared the living daylights out of them.

When we stood together, over half a million of us, I was told it's the largest crowd called by a private citizen in U.S.

history.

And we came, all of us, not really knowing why, even me, one August day, hot, humid in Washington, D.C.,

to restore honor.

And if you were there, you'll remember how it felt.

Then in Jerusalem, restoring courage in Dallas,

huge day of service.

Nearly 60,000 Americans came to paint and to clean and to help and to build

to serve the community of Dallas.

And in the end,

there were no projects.

We kept calling people saying, we have more people to volunteer.

Do you have any space for volunteers?

They didn't.

But we all worked side by side with our children.

We gathered together and

we did something else that had never been done, the first sold-out spoken word event in Cowboy Stadium.

They said we were nuts for doing it.

But do you remember how that felt?

Do you remember in Birmingham, restoring unity, where we started the Nazarene Fund, which is now the leader in rescuing of Christian and Yazidi slaves in the Middle East, saving and moving tens of thousands of Christians to new homes all around the world when the entire world said, No,

it can't be done.

We've gone through a lot together.

But now I watch TV and I look at things and I think

what is coming next

in some ways we've been here before.

In the 1980s, Reagan,

Reagan won with a simple message that America was dying to hear.

It's mourning in America.

We had been talked down, we had been ripped apart, we had endured corruption, a war in Vietnam, assassinations of a president, his brother, MLK Malcolm X.

Our streets had been torn apart, our institutions were torn apart, National Guard in the streets.

Then gasoline and heating oil prices shot through the roof, unemployment at an all-time high since the end of World War II, and we had what they called stagnation.

Americans were held hostage by terrorists in a country few of us even understood, and our military had been humiliated in the desert sands, and it all felt over.

Then in 1980, enough Democrats and Republicans came together to elect a new leader who was optimistic, he was confident without arrogance, who actually still believed in this country.

He told us that this American sunset that we thought we all saw was something that was caused by politics, politicians, those in Washington who wished to control us.

But most of all, our biggest problem is that we had begun to believe the lies that America was a force for evil in the world.

Yes,

there were some common sense things that had to be changed, but as our belief in the founding principles were restored, we could come together and fix it.

And against all odds, when the entire world counted us out, the American people pulled off a miracle.

You've got 10 seconds of cap deal going on right now.

Borrow, look yourself.

Five seconds left in the game.

Do you believe in miracles?

Yes!

It all began on the ice against the Russians and ended with the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Then in China, Tiananmen Square, and Bill Clinton even said, the era of big government is over.

And we felt as though our biggest fears were behind us.

And that was our problem.

Because what we didn't know at the time was the fact that the very election of Ronald Reagan so frightened those who sought out power and rule that they set a new course, the birth of the new left, one that could control the media, corporations, education, and methodically build what we now know as the deep state.

We failed to listen to the patriots like Eisenhower and Reagan.

Eisenhower, the first to warn us of not just a military industrial complex, but an educational industrial complex.

Those in science and higher learning who would now be partnering with those in government to conduct studies to feed the population, what those in power would pay them to feed.

And Reagan's last farewell address, he warned us.

The resurgence of national pride that I called the new patriotism.

This national feeling is good, but it won't count for much, and it won't last unless it's grounded in thoughtfulness and knowledge.

And

We failed to educate our children.

He warned us we would see a new generation that would not know who America was nor could defend her.

We didn't listen.

And now we ask, is it still morning in America or is it a setting sun?

There has been a conspiracy to overthrow this nation.

It's an insidious infestation of Marxism on all of our trusted institutions.

But I have told you for almost almost 20 years that you will be the audience that saves this nation.

And I still believe that.

But now,

we're all called to do something

that I keep telling myself is impossible, but I know it's not.

We need to not go over the cliff with the rest of humanity.

What we need to do now is just remember the difference between right and wrong.

We need to remember and stand up for what is true and right and righteous.

We need to simply remember the difference between social justice and real justice.

We need to stand for our God, for our religion, our freedom, our peace, for our wives, our husbands, and our children.

Tonight,

I'm going to ask you to do three things, and they'll sound simple because they are,

but they will be hard to actually do.

But I believe if we don't do these things,

which all start with an American covenant, we will be swept off this land.

The distant voice of the Mayflower cries out to us.

The words of Washington call us back to a life of merit.

And the final acts of Abraham Lincoln will lead our nation back to the promise of hope.

Tonight, Blaze TV.

Tonight,

I don't know what to expect.

The producers that have been working on this, this has been an all-volunteer kind of thing, and the producers that have been working on this up here at the Standing Rock Ranch

have been awake now for about 50 hours, and we are crossing our fingers that nothing goes wrong.

Almost everything has gone wrong, but through a series of serious miracles, there is no way we could have pulled this off.

Last night, I got a call and they said, Les, it's not going to happen.

It's not going to happen.

We're not going to make it.

And I'm like, Yeah, you will.

Yeah, you will.

You will.

And we kneeled down as a family to make sure that all the roads were clear and everything would go according to plan.

And

at 4 a.m.

this morning, I got another call.

Okay, okay, I think we're on track.

We could use your prayers and we could.

I encourage you to watch tonight.

It's free.

It's commercial free.

It was all volunteer.

There couldn't be any money exchanged on any of this.

It had to be a pure message.

And that's what you'll see tonight.

And it's free on YouTube.

It will be free on, I believe, my Facebook page.

And it's also on Blaze TV.

If you're not a subscriber, I urge you to subscribe now.

So

you're not missing a thing.

Restoring Hope tonight, 8 p.m.

Eastern, live, don't miss it.

Call a friend.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

So Alicia, she's 52.

She lives in California.

Yeah.

Yeah, I know.

I don't know.

In the last few months, she found herself in unbelievable pain.

The unenviable position of having to pull double shifts at the grocery store where she works, all thanks to the coronavirus.

And that's a game for 20-year-olds.

But Alicia did what she had to do.

Problem was that Alicia had not one, but two bad knees.

Things got really bad really soon as she was limping to and fro bed every single night and morning.

But she listens to me and she

took my word for it and just decided I'm going to try Relief Factor.

So she did.

She said the inflammation in her knees began to reduce substantially just a couple of days after she started taking it.

Now Alicia has almost full mobility back.

Alicia's a tough cookie.

She didn't take it lying down.

She gave Relief Factor a try.

She got her life back.

You may too.

Just try it.

Try the two-week or three-week quick start now at ReliefFactor.com.

That's relief factor.com, 800-500, 8384.

Get your life back.

This is the Glenbeck program.

I will tell you that

I have exposed many things,

George Soros, the Tides Foundation, etc., etc.

And

I am continuing to do that if anyone still cares to listen,

especially those in Washington.

but there is an absolute,

well-planned, well-financed conspiracy to tear down our nation.

And

I have never

called for people to be

charged with treason because that is the highest crime in the land and the only one that comes with death penalty punishments.

But I will tell you, there are people that are committing treason in our nation.

They are

conspiring and financing

and laying well-played plans to destroy us from the inside.

The New York Times, what they have done with the 1619 project, which we exposed last night, they have a staff writer named Nicole Hannah-Jones.

And she wanted to create this

new story,

this new storyline to reframe American history.

As she says in the first part of it, what if we were to tell you that what you were taught in schools about our country is wrong?

Well, go ahead.

What if?

She says, what if I tell you that everything you thought you knew

and you thought it was good was actually bad because of the American system of slavery.

The bowl of cereal you eat, it's evil.

The lack of universal health care, it's all because of slavery, overcrowded

prisons, low minimum wage, white artists stealing music from black artists, traffic jams on the freeways in Atlanta.

I am not making it up.

These are all things she contributes to slavery.

And it is evil what is happening.

The goal stated, the goal of the 1619 project is to reframe American history by considering what it would mean

if we considered the real birth date of America, not 1776, but 1619.

Well, we can imagine a lot of things.

What if Captain Kangaroo were God?

I don't think that changes anything, cause it's not.

But this is so insidious.

People think it's just a little podcast.

No, it's not.

1619 is a podcast.

Random House is releasing a series of 1619 books next year.

The New York Times has partnered with Pulitzer Center to indoctrinate students with a curriculum for schools.

It is now in all 50 states, in thousands of schools.

It's likely in your local school district.

And it is a serious effort to brainwash an entire generation that their nation is just evil.

Now she started, now this is just a staff writer.

In 2016, she established the Ida B.

Wells Society for Investigative Reporting, dedicated to the training

necessary for journalists of color to compete and succeed.

Now, where did she get that money as a staff writer?

Do I even need to say it?

Pat, I'm so sick of saying...

I'm so sick of exposing that because you know it's like a joke now.

Gee, where did they get that money?

George Soros.

I don't know if you saw the

special last night, but if you didn't, please watch it because it is

a warm-up for what's tonight.

I'm showing you what is happening in our country

with this 1619 project.

And it's all happening now on our streets.

In fact, Nicole Hannah Jones initially replied to the New York Post tweet about calling the riots the 1619 riots.

And she said, it would be an honor, thank you,

if the burning of police stations and restaurants all across the country were because of the 1619 project,

thank you.

I would accept that as an honor.

Holy cow.

And how does somebody like this become so influential?

I'm sorry.

It's because there are people that are

working to overthrow America.

Just last week, she published a feature piece in the New York Times about reparations and what is owed.

There are so many problems with reparations.

She says we just, oh, no, we, you know, reparations are, you know, that's going to be good.

Well, let me ask you this.

Carter Woodson, known as the father of black history, who, by the way, I'm gonna buy all of his books.

This is a guy who wrote books in the 20s and the 30s.

The NAACP still says you should read his books.

He went back to the census in the 1800s and he pieced together African-American history that you've never heard.

His example and his research shows that in 1830, over 3,700 free blacks in the the South owned over 12,900 black slaves.

So now how do you calculate reparations?

How do you do it?

Did you know on the Trail of Tears,

the Native Americans were crying that they were, you know, so hated and so oppressed, which they were.

Except they were oppressing the slaves.

They brought their slaves, black slaves, with them on the Trail of Tears.

Now, that kind of changes things a little bit, doesn't it?

Now, I know this doesn't appeal to Pat because of his white privilege, and he's a little fragile.

Are you okay?

Are you okay, Pat?

You're hurting me.

You're hurting me.

Okay.

I'm about to break in half here because of my fragility.

All right.

Now, does anybody else find it odd that white people are the ones that are so fragile?

and yet it is the social justice warriors that we've built little crying rooms and you know, crayon rooms for them.

And they're triggered by every little thing, uh, and words are fragile ones.

It's like the new slogan is: sticks and stones can't break my bones, but words are what really hurts me.

It's more like that now.

But also, sticks and stones can also do it.

Well, yeah, everything breaks out.

Well, and guillotines,

yeah, and guillotines.

Guillotines can

hurt people.

Cut your head off, maybe?

Yeah.

This is the least covered story, I think, that is a pretty big story of the last week or two,

where

this mob set up a guillotine outside of Jeff Bezos' house.

I mean, it's right next to the front of his house.

And it seems to me that a guillotine is

somewhat symbolic of having your head cut off.

There was a noose recently that we heard about every minute of every day for about two or three weeks that really wasn't a noose.

It was a handle for pulling down a garage door.

But a mob of scumbags can set up a guillotine at Jeff Bezos' house, and there's nothing.

Nobody cares about that.

Isn't that every bit the symbol that a noose would be?

Don't they both kill people equally?

You get strangled by the noose, and your head gets amputated by the guillotine.

That seems like you're equally dead either way.

And they're serious.

And they're serious people.

They are serious.

They are going to come.

I don't think a lot of people understand that or believe that, but they will soon because

they will come.

And this is just the first little

evidence that they plan to cut people's heads off with guillotines.

Well, I will tell you this.

They're useful idiots, and just like the brown shirts that caused all the fear and got Hitler elected, if Joe Biden is elected, the first things that will happen will he'll do night of longknives.

Those people will all be arrested in jail or dead.

Guarantee it.

Guarantee it.

I mean, if you don't see the

if you don't see the exact patterns, look at people elected

Hitler because they thought, oh, well, we can control him.

You know, he's really kind of just a nobody.

Look at what we're, what, look what we're possibly going to elect with Joe Biden, a guy who is senile.

And why are they all going along with it?

Because they know they can control the agenda then.

I mean, we are repeating things step by step.

It doesn't exactly rhyme, but

it's sure in the same ballpark.

You know, it's not exact, but it has a familiar tone to it.

And I don't know how these people don't see it.

I mean,

are there Americans that don't

really

understand that these people are dead serious?

I love the mayor of Seattle.

Once she's threatened, once somebody comes to her house and she's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute.

What about all the people that live on Capitol Hill in Seattle?

What about their homes?

You only freak out when they come to your home.

It is such a progressive attitude.

It only matters when it's about me.

I'm different.

That's right.

You know, there was a really interesting article written in the Federalist last week where it says

this guy, Christopher Bedford, did some research and

wrote an article that everywhere statues are torn down, this is historically speaking, everywhere statues are torn down, history promises that people are next.

So

we're kind of there.

But just in every instance, just in every single case,

the other case.

Let me address

it.

Don't worry about it.

But in every instance,

you guys always made fun of me for saying it ends with a bullet in the head.

Yes, it does.

We did.

Yes.

But am I right?

We will see.

So my theory was.

Yeah, I know that.

As we're standing at the wall, I hope you're cracking jokes.

It's going to be fun.

Because it'll make it a lot easier.

I laid this out 20 years ago.

It is suggest,

shove, shoot.

Well, they did all of the suggesting.

They did all of it.

Then they shoved.

For those people who will not be silent, for those people who

look,

in Nazi Nazi Germany there was this

this great who who was he he was a historian of some sort in Germany and he said that the guy who ran the butcher shop did not hang the swastika in his front window because he was a Nazi he hung it as a symbol to say

I'm not going to be a problem Don't even look in here.

I'm not a problem.

Well, that's what people are doing.

They're signaling right now.

I'm not going to be a problem.

So don't worry about me.

I'll put the little black square thing up on my Facebook page.

I'm not going to say anything.

I'm not going to be a problem.

Every one of these companies is the same thing.

They're not looking at the Black Lives Matter, you know.

No, they don't know anything about it.

Yeah, the organization and their crazy demands on society, which, by the way, would put them all out of business.

That's not why they're agreeing with it.

They're agreeing with it.

So they look, look, we're not going to be a problem.

Everyone, we're good boys and girls here.

Don't worry about us.

It's true.

It's true.

It's embarrassing.

All they need are for these guys to create this chaos on the streets, to be able to collapse us into the hands of those very people at the very top, like George Soros, that will get rich and control the world.

I mean, that's,

and as soon as that happens, as soon as a collapse comes, they'll kill all those people.

And they'll kill anybody who speaks out against.

I mean, we are seeing a replay, and I can't believe how many people are remaining silent.

One piece of developing news here as we speak: Jelaine Maxwell has been arrested,

Jeffrey Epstein's long-term girlfriend/slash person who was lining up 16-year-olds.

So she's been in, she's disappeared for a very long time, and no one kind of knew where she was.

Apparently, she has now been arrested.

We'll have more details on that coming up.

Well, it couldn't happen to a nicer person.

Thanks, Pat.

Let me talk to you about Real Estate Agents I Trust.

When you go with a real estate agent, you might be thinking you get the best real estate agent,

I ask if you are a praying person to

pray for the production staff of Restoring Hope.

I just got an email

from somebody

I'm not going to read,

but it is

I have failed you again

because they're worried that this is not all going to come together.

We were having some complications.

And I just wrote back to them and said, well, if it doesn't happen,

then it's probably my arrogance.

God had, you know, the COVID thing canceled the

restoring the covenant event, and I

maybe, perhaps in my arrogance, I...

I didn't get that message and started to do it again.

Or perhaps that what we're doing is

so on target that the adversary is doing everything he can to stop.

And in that case, I have faith that God wins, either way.

So pray for us and also please join us tonight.

It's free on YouTube, commercial free, restoring hope from the Standing Rock Ranch, from Plymouth, Massachusetts, New York, Philadelphia, and Gettysburg.

We might have

All right, let me tell you about Rough Greens.

You know who's going to be the star of this show?

Is Uno.

Because Uno's been by my side the whole time and up at the ranch, and he's just my best friend.

He really is just so great.

Is that because people won't talk to you?

Is that the main reason?

Or would you just say that Uno's?

No, because he's the one friend that doesn't have a fat mouth.

Well, I mean, anyway.

Fair.

Listen, I want to to talk to you about rough greens.

This is something that I feed my dog.

Stu feeds his little,

I mean, just a mouse of a dog, really.

Yeah, he's a mouse.

Also, our golden retriever, though, who's almost normal sizish.

I don't think I've, I don't think I've met.

Have I met your golden retriever?

I don't think so.

Piper.

Yeah.

Is there?

Yeah.

So here, listen, what you need if you really care about your dog is to give him all of the best stuff.

This is not a dog food.

It's an additive.

And I'm telling you, you'll see a huge difference in your dog.

This is the Glenn Best Program.

Hello, America, and welcome to Friday.

Well, not really, but it is a three-day weekend, so I'm counting it as Friday.

I couldn't, you know what, I could just go on the air and say it's Friday, and half of America would believe it because of COVID.

We're like, is it Friday, really?

I thought it was Monday.

We've got a great show for you today.

We're going to recap what we did last night about the 1619 project.

It is terrifying when you truly understand the army and the global forces that are arrayed against those who believe in the Constitution.

But there's some real hope, some people that are standing up, that aren't afraid.

And I want to introduce you to one of them in 60 seconds.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

All right, if you think there's no such thing as a perfect night's sleep, you got another thing coming.

You know what I'm saying?

I'm going to make you enough of you.

Anyway, it's my pillow.

Instead of taking us to the moon, what if, I'm using my 1619 project, what if

NASA had focused instead on solving the problem of the occasional or even frequent sleepless nights?

Can you imagine how we wouldn't be oppressed then?

Well, they didn't do it because NASA was run by a lot of white people.

Anyway, Mike Lindell is a guy who just took this on himself.

And I will tell you, from personal experience, I did not believe the advertisements.

Mike sent me a pillow, and I was like, oh, yeah, I don't like that.

He came in, and I slept one night with it, and he said, You don't like my pillow, do you?

And I was like, No, I really don't.

And he said, You got the wrong one.

And, you know, because they make them for different, you know, they make them for fat heads and for people with normal heads.

And so I had to get the fat head pillow.

But anyway, right now, if you want a great night's sleep, MyPillow is offering buy one, get one free offers on many of their products, like their duvet covers, their pillows, the bolster, neck, geez

elegance pillows.

I don't even know what that one is.

But they also offer deals on both reusable and disposable face masks.

Have a feeling those are going to come back and be shortages on those soon, so you might as well order them now.

So last night on Blaze TV,

I tried to lay out the case on what is really happening with the 1619 project.

Now, a lot of people just think, oh, well, that's a podcast.

No, it's a podcast.

Random House is about to release a series of books books based on this, I believe, evil and intentional destruction of our history.

And it's all put together by the New York Times, Random House,

brought to you again by George Soros funding.

And

its reach is incredible.

It is now being taught in all 50 states, in thousands and thousands of schools all across the country.

It most likely is in your neighborhood school.

You must mobilize and stop this.

It cannot be part of our school.

It is an intentional distortion and lies, out and out lies.

I'm not saying that.

We have experts of history, both liberal and

conservative, both black and white, that are saying this is fictional.

This is not even real.

1619 Project has decided that the leader has come out and said, well, we didn't mean it to be history.

This is journalism.

So are you saying journalists lie and make up facts?

I mean, I don't even know what the New York Times is even doing, but it is very well funded.

And up until recently, I didn't think there was a counter to this attack.

But as always,

you know, we don't know the mind of God.

And he is calling people into positions all over the world.

And I think we're going to see miracles.

And one of those miracles is a man who is really born for these times.

His name is Bob Woodson.

He is the founder and president of the Woodson Center.

We've had him on a couple of times here recently.

But I wanted to talk to him today.

He's part of our Restoring Hope broadcast today,

tonight at 8 p.m.

But he was also on the 1619 Project episode for a few minutes last last night because he started the counter 1776unites.com.

Welcome to the program, Bob.

How are you?

Pleased to be here, Glenn, and glad to be with you again.

So, Bob, tell the American people exactly what the 1619 project is.

As I was looking into it and as we did our research on it, I was shocked at how well financed, how well organized, and how

deeply embedded now in the system it already has become.

Yeah, well, what the left has done

is they have used the legacy of the civil rights movement and also the

America's birth defect of slavery.

And they have used it to define America as incurably racist.

So she is

Jones has assembled a group of journalists and not even researchers, and they have come together to reframe the birthday of America as being 1619 when 20 African slaves arrived on our shore and not 1776.

And her contention is that because some of the signers of

the Declaration of Independence were slave owners,

therefore

it was written by people who were hypocrites, and therefore, the documents that they penned is also flawed.

And so essentially,

they are using the black experience

and the rich legacy of the civil rights movement as a framework to really demean this country and proclaim it as being irretrievably racist, and that in essence, all white people are

victimizers, and all black people are victims.

And if something is in your DNA, it cannot be changed.

And that's the message that's being communicated.

And since the message is they're using the black community as the messenger, the bludgeon, to try to destroy this country, we thought the messengers on the other side should be led by blacks, sort of like the Civil Rights Coalition led by blacks.

was participated in by all.

And so we've assembled a lot of scholars, but also activists.

And we're offering not a counter-debate, but a counter-narrative to challenge what they're doing.

And it is important for us to not make this some intellectual jousting contest, but we've brought grassroots leaders whose lives

embody

the implementation of the principles of our founders because some of them were drug addicts, some of them were predators, but through God's grace they were redeemed.

And so in essence, 1776 that we put together starts with sin because America is founded on the whole notion of redemption.

But the left defines it by sin.

And so what they're looking for is some cheap shortcut to redemption and destroy everything that is not pure.

And so that's why they want to destroy the monuments.

They want to define America by its birth defect, not by its promise.

1776, by contrast,

defines America by its promise.

And the reason they're going after the Lincoln emancipation statue is because when you're trying to destroy the truth, the first thing you do is to destroy evidence of the truth.

And so that's why they're targeting these statues.

And it has nothing to do with racial justice because they even deface the statue of Frederick Douglass.

There was an article in The Guardian in 2016 where they're talking about China,

the Communist government in China.

And I just want to quote from this.

Efforts to commemorate the past are often misleading or so fragmentary as to be meaningless.

Almost all of the plaques at historic sites in China, for example, tell either partial histories or outright lies.

The Communist Party does not just suppress history, it recreates it to serve the present.

That is exactly what is happening here.

Exactly.

It really is happening here, and that's why it is important for us to push back

against it.

And we are gaining a lot of momentum.

In other words,

It is so insidious that the most popular book in Amazon in the Socialist section is Communism for Kids.

So they're starting in the in the in the grades, so therefore we are mounting

an offensive against this by we're developing curriculum so that parents and teachers and others will have something competitive.

We're also beginning to develop histories.

For instance, their their whole claim to the black community is that the problems of out of wedlock births and the crime and violence that you're seeing is a legacy of slavery and discrimination.

Well, we're debunking that by

presenting evidence that even at the end of slavery in 1865, 75% of all black families, according to the records of six major plantations, had a man and a woman raising children.

And as Thomas saw in his writing documents, that for the next hundred years, the black family and our Christian faith and our entrepreneurial spirit caused us to thrive and to achieve in the midst of oppressive circumstances.

And so

we are demonstrating this.

We are going to be educating people that America is defined by its promise and not by its birth defect.

Because the Bob Woodson

Bob Woodson is

it is a religion, Bob.

What is going on right now is a perverted, evil religion, and it is controlled by Marxist, and it is funded by really, really wealthy people who think the destruction of America will play into their hands.

But I

warn you, you cannot open a can of evil without it coming to get you in the end.

Bob is running 1776 Unites.

You will see a little bit more from him as I bring him into the cabin here at the Standing Rock Ranch from the 1800s.

And we talk a little bit about what needs to be done and the future.

There are a few things that I'm going to ask you to do tonight, but one of them is to support organizations that actually make a difference.

And one of those organizations is 1776unites.com.

Bob, you and I are on the same page on one thing.

We both firmly believe that the answer is going, we're going to be saved or lost, but I believe saved by the African American community because of their connection to God.

And

enough is enough.

There will be people that will stand and come to the rescue of this nation that understands what really is at stake and how they're being used.

And Bob, I think you're a big part of that solution.

So thank you for being on the program.

If you want to donate, go to 1776unites.com.

That's with an S, 1776unites.com.

More in just a minute.

First, let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour.

I'm telling you, I am more convinced than ever that this has been

the powers to be have taken advantage of this, and they are intentionally now destroying our businesses.

10 seconds, station ID.

I have to tell you, if we get this thing on the air today, it is going to be a miracle.

We are out in the middle of the day.

What is happening?

You're killing me with this.

You just keep telling me and the audience over and over again that this thing is going to fall through and everything's on the line.

No, no, it's not going to.

It's not going to.

But it is going to take a miracle.

But it's not going to.

It's not going to.

But why is it?

Why are you worried about it?

Why do we need a miracle?

One word.

One word.

Rendering.

Rendering.

That's the operative word here.

Oh, yes.

Oh, God.

Rendering.

Every video editor in America right now is having nose stress.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Well, let me give you some more stress.

Here's what I found in the grocery store here in Idaho.

And I think we know what it means.

I just reached up to get a loaf of bread.

And what does it say?

Oh, my gosh.

It doesn't even say bread.

It just says white.

Might as well just say pretty kind of a

might as well just say, stay away from here, black people.

You don't get any of this.

The oppression just doesn't start.

And you'll notice

if you go to the grocery store and you put that in, they put put it in its own special bag and they put it separately because of the fragility of the white bread.

Oh, yeah.

No,

I get a special lane at the grocery store when you bring up the

it's not white bread.

It just says white.

It's just code.

It's like, hello, special lane, special lane for me.

Tonight,

tonight at 8 o'clock is restoring hope.

And

it is something that has been haunting me for a while.

And I think it is the most important thing that we've ever done, which, you know, could be one of the reasons why we are having so many problems.

I mean,

you wouldn't believe the things that have happened to us.

We've taped

a lot of this

and

we have been out recording, and I'm not kidding you, it started to downpour.

It doesn't rain in this area in July.

It just doesn't rain or late June.

It was downpouring

and we all stopped and covered all the equipment and said a prayer and we're like, Lord, we just have to finish this, please.

I'm not kidding you.

It rained around us.

It rained around us.

It rained all the way around where we were.

It was incredible.

We finished and I'm telling you a storm of biblical proportions.

I thought my flagpole, I have about a hundred-foot flagpole in my front yard.

I thought that flagpole was going to come down and snap in half.

We had to go out and take the flag down because it was standing almost.

I mean, the flag was, I mean, it was, I've never seen anything like it.

Trees were busted in this.

It was like 60, 70 mile-an-hour winds, constant.

I felt like I was in the Wizard of Oz.

And it happened right as we finished.

I mean,

it's been really

miraculous.

And that's why I say it's going to make it tonight.

It's going to make it tonight because God always wins.

And if it is meant to be, then it will happen.

If it wasn't meant to be, well, then that was my fault.

But tonight...

From the Standing Rock Ranch, and it's free on YouTube.

There are no commercials in it.

Nobody is getting paid for this.

It's all volunteer.

It was very important to me that this was absolutely pure

and uniting and hopeful and true.

And tonight, I urge you to watch this with your family because we begin to set history right.

We begin to tell you some things that you have

that you've probably never heard before.

And if your kids are in school now, I can guarantee you they've never heard it before.

But when we are being taken apart and our history is being lost, we must double down on teaching our children what is true, what is right,

and we have to double down on ourselves, our own behavior.

You know,

Lincoln didn't...

He didn't tell anybody he made a covenant to free the slaves.

He didn't tell anybody.

He begged, what do you want from me?

He felt through prayer, release all of the slaves.

And

he made a covenant that he would.

And we started to win the war.

Then he made a national covenant.

But it begins with the individual.

Tonight, you do not want to miss Restoring Hope, Blaze TV, YouTube, Facebook.

I think

cyber criminals.

Oh my gosh, we live on the edge so much of the time.

Cyber criminals don't care whether they hurt you or your family.

When one steals your identity, it happens all the time, every single day.

They don't just take your money.

They take away your ability to feel secure.

They take away your credibility.

They take away your name.

That's the most important.

The only thing you really own is your name and your credibility.

The terrible truth is, they're cyber criminals.

They don't care.

Listen, don't take this lying down.

Protect yourself with Life Lock.

They will detect a wide range of identity threats, and not only will they alert you, but if you become a victim, they have a dedicated restoration specialist, a team that will help to work to fix it with you.

Must be a very important show that we're doing tonight because

everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.

But

we will be there tonight, come hell or high water, his will, not mine.

If it's not happening, it's for a reason, I guess.

But

make sure you don't miss it.

This always happens to us.

Whenever it is...

Whenever it's super important, everything goes wrong.

And somehow or another, miracles happen.

Restoring hope from the Standing Rock Ranch on YouTube and Blaze TV

tonight.

You don't want to miss it.

8 o'clock-ish.

8-ish.

8 o'clock-ish.

Well, you've got obviously a network, so it'll be 8 o'clock on the dot.

As always, the programming airs.

Now, I'm not going to say that, I mean, because it seems like if you're airing it at 8 p.m.

Eastern, you'd be preempting my show,

which I was not informed of.

I don't know why I'm here.

I should go home right after rain.

Well, I think.

Well, you might want to stick around.

And you know what, Stu?

That might be a really good idea.

Might be a really good idea.

So anyway,

we have Larry Schweikart on with us now.

He is, I would say he's

the

Howard Zinn of the right, except that's an insult, and I don't mean it that way.

He is the correction to Howard Zinn.

He is the author of A Patriot's History of the United States.

Larry, welcome to the program.

How are you?

Hi, Glenn.

Long time.

Long time.

So good to hear from you.

So, Larry, we are rewriting our history now.

Like, I've never seen anything like it outside of Mao's China.

Is that too strong of a comparison?

Not at all.

It's really shocking.

Heather McDonald has a piece today in City Journal about how rapidly things have unrolled.

I mean, just a year ago, most of this was not going on, at least not at this kind of speed.

Well, I think it was all going on, and Larry, correct me if I'm wrong, I think it was all going on behind the scenes.

It was just,

I mean, this is not spontaneous.

This is not spontaneous.

What the

New York Times,

George Soros-funded

organizations, and Random House are doing with the 1619 project.

Larry, you're a historian.

Anything that you can compare this to that is...

I mean,

it is now being taught in school, and it is not historically accurate in any way, shape, or form.

Yeah, it's stunning that a nation is deliberately propagandizing against its own roots, against its own culture, against its own founding.

This has never, ever happened before in human history.

And by the way, I took up the 1619 project on my Wild World of History website with a lesson series called a 1620 Default.

And Mike Allen and I argue in Patriots History that the U.S.

really was founded on four pillars of American exceptionalism, and those four pillars are not found at Jamestown.

They are found only at Plymouth.

And the real essential founding of America starts at Plymouth with a Christian, mostly Protestant religious tradition, with common law, with private property, with written titles and deeds, and with a free market economy.

And most of those, certainly the religious part and common law, were not present at Jamestown.

So rather than try and pick apart the 1619 project on one, this error or that error,

we need to just discard it entirely and say, no, that has nothing.

Slavery has nothing whatsoever to do with the essence of American exceptionalism.

Well, it's things you have to kind of pick it apart.

And I mean, it's very easy to do.

Things that they say, like, one of the reasons why the founders broke away from England was because they wanted to carry on and protect slavery.

Well, that's not in any of the usurtations of

the Declaration of Independence.

It was never uttered by anyone, and the king was the big perpetrator of

slavery at the time.

And the founders, many of them, just read their own words, many of them

one of the main reasons they wanted to break away was because slavery was against

everything in the the laws of God and and nature and they felt it was a violation of those things and they wanted to get away well

let's jump ahead to yeah let's jump ahead to the Northwest Ordinance okay even before the Constitution with the Northwest Ordinance the Americans banned slavery in the old Northwest that's as clear a signal as to where this nation was headed as you know it's the first real public law regarding slavery, and the very first law they pass regarding slavery is to ban it.

So, the amazing thing is, is that we have this, but this is exactly the same argument that was made in the 1850s.

And it is, it's such an easy argument to take apart because

Jamestown was

the English coming over looking for gold and wealth and new lands to rape.

Correct.

The Plymouth experiment was a group of people that were coming away from that.

They wanted to get away from all of this.

They came because they wanted religious freedom and they wanted to live in peace.

That is entirely different, entirely different than Jamestown.

And the land that they settled in Plymouth was uninhabited.

They took it from no one.

The Indians had already cleared out of there.

Right.

It was not just uninhabited.

The Native Americans felt that it was cursed land, if I'm not mistaken, because of the plague.

There was a really bad plague that wiped out all of these Indians,

and they would not return to that land.

So that's the land that they inhabited.

Right.

You know, Glenn, where all this ultimately heads, I mean, the direction of this line of discussion is what will happen with public schools.

And what we see right now with the shutdown,

and there's no end in sight.

I mean, I'm here in Arizona, and they keep pushing it back, and

we don't know when public schools are going to reopen, but if and when they do, they will probably be on half

you know, half-day weeks or whatever, which means doubling the number of teachers, et cetera, et cetera.

More and more online learning.

And what I'm getting at is there may finally be an opening to begin to deconstruct the public schools and to get education back into the hands of responsible people and the parents where it belongs.

So, Larry,

I mean,

to me, this is so logical, but it didn't really come to me until I've started to see it all come apart here and what our schools are doing to our kids.

There is no way for a government school to teach rebellion.

I mean, we were founded on rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.

Well, how can a government-run school teach don't trust the government?

Yeah,

that sums it up nicely.

It's really, really hard.

And, you know, there's a piece by Vicar Hansen today on the universities have sown the seeds of their own destruction.

I believe that's true, but I'm not sure how long it's going to take.

But when you look at, for example, the Black Lives Matter infiltrating pro sports, it's only a matter of time.

It's already happening to some college levels.

I hear a number of people go, well, I'm not going to watch the NFL.

I'll go watch my college football game.

Uh-uh-uh.

Black Lives Matter will be in all of the college sports before too long, and you'll see the same kind of boycott of those.

And that'll be very interesting because A, when they tear down all the statues and they rename all the rooms and so forth, donors are not going to give to a college building or classroom that doesn't bear their name, number one.

And number two, when they start attacking the sports team and half or two-thirds of the fans leave, that slices the revenue from the college athletic programs by an incredible amount.

And then you're going to see

an astonishing restructuring of the colleges and universities when those two things happen.

Well,

I could only hope.

Larry, have we ever faced anything like this before?

I mean, it is so clear to me that this is a well-laid out and well-financed plan, and it is on every front.

Lincoln was right.

If we're going to be destroyed, we'll be destroyed by ourselves.

It'll come from within.

Have we ever experienced any time like this?

Well, you're absolutely right that it was well funded.

And I maintain that George Floyd's death was not so much a trigger as a convenient event for the go signal.

They were just waiting

for the drone signal.

And, okay, this is good enough, go.

And they sent out the word to all the mobs.

It's interesting in the late 1850s, a guy did a study about the lawlessness of the 1850s.

And there was even a very famous article called The Civil War was a crisis of law and order.

And what you found in the 1850s was something called mobbing.

And mobbing was occurring everywhere, north and south.

And almost all of the mobbing centered on the issue of slavery, either good or bad, either northerners trying to free slaves or southerners trying to kill slaves or free whites in the north fearing slaves are going to take their jobs.

So this is a new but much more dangerous manifestation of the mobbing that we saw in the 1850s, and we know where that led.

Real quick, Larry, I'm tired of hearing this about our founders that they got it.

We started on looting and destroying businesses with

the Boston Tea Party.

That was not about looting.

That was about sending a message to the king.

It was only that.

They didn't take the tea for themselves.

They weren't running out with old colonial televisions.

It wasn't looting.

Can you set that straight?

Yeah, you're exactly right that they went.

And by the way, they went on the boats with the permission of the captains.

Nobody opposed them because the goal was to say that the tea, and it's a long story, but that the Tea Act actually lowered the tax on tea, but because it increased enforcement, it made tea actually more expensive for the colonists.

And they were basically saying, we will not drink your tea.

It wasn't, we're going to take your tea free.

It was, no, get this stuff out of here.

We don't want it.

It was kind of like what the Chinese were trying to do in the opium wars, and the British wouldn't let them.

Chinese says, no, we don't want opium.

Hell, yeah, you're going to take it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Larry, thank you so much.

I really appreciate it.

Author of Patriots' History of the United States, a book that everyone, everyone should own.

Thank you so much.

We'll talk again, Larry.

Our sponsor, this half hour,

is Simply Safe.

You know what's more fun than having somebody rob your house?

I mean, besides everything,

somebody not robbing your house, that's actually more, more important.

Home invasions, unfortunately, still happen in this country

and it's terrifying how often it happens now, and it's only going to get worse.

There's one every 24 seconds, which means by the time this commercial is done, almost three burglaries will have happened somewhere in the United States.

Don't roll the dice at being the next one.

Am I going to be the one on the wheel of terror?

Nope.

Nope.

State-of-the-art equipment and around-the-clock monitoring, second to none.

The system is easy to set up.

Best of all, it's really affordable.

You're going to spend about 50 cents a day.

That's a sip of your morning coffee.

Unless you get your coffee at Starbucks, in which case, you.

I mean, I think they pay you just to, you have to pay just to smell the coffee there.

One of our editors and producers, Clayton, is with us now.

Can you just

give me an update?

Because I don't even know what rendering really is.

It means the computer is just trying to put in final.

It's like a final mix, right?

It just kind of takes all of the information and just kind of locks it in.

Yeah, so is that what rendering means?

Basically, any effects that they did, color correction or audio, like adding in music under stuff or putting like just sound bites here or there.

All that has is works off of a proxy file to start out with.

So that way you can watch it and you can, while you're editing it, you can kind of see what it's doing.

Well, when you go to export, you have to render all of that so that whatever changes you made is actually on the final product.

Okay.

So All right, great.

That's where they're at right now.

Perfect.

So we're talking about the special that runs tonight at 8 o'clock, and we had serious complications

last night, and a big chunk of it had to be all redone, and

we were just way behind.

Have you heard an update on this?

Because

half an hour ago, they were saying it might have to happen on Friday night.

And I'm like, well, no, it's happening tonight.

Tonight at 8.

So

what is the latest update?

Are you in touch with them?

Yeah,

we're keeping in contact, and it seems like they're into the render process a little ways.

But the issue with rendering massive projects like this and things that we've done with you in the past for like the root specials or any of your other, you know,

some of the ADL stuff.

specials.

Yeah, you render stuff and it renders in chunks, basically.

So if there's just a.

So

we have no idea really when it's going to be ready.

No.

It's a rough estimate.

Yeah.

Premiere or whatever editing software.

Are we going to make it or not?

Are we going to make it or not?

That's all I want to know.

I'm going to do everything in my power, and my team is going to do everything in my power.

Here's what we'll answer.

Here's what we need to do.

We need everybody to pray that this special makes it tonight at 8 o'clock.

8 p.m.

Eastern, it's Restoring Hope from the Standing Rock Ranch.

Gosh, get on your knees and pray for this one.

Hello, America.

It's Friday.

Technically Thursday, but it feels like Friday because it's a three-day weekend.

It is the

day that we have our Restoring Hope event here at the Standing Rock Ranch, and we hope that you are with us virtually.

Gather your family around 8 p.m.

It'll be free, two-hour special, commercial free,

8 p.m.

Eastern Time.

You can find it on Facebook.

You'll find it on my YouTube channel.

And of course, Blazetv.com.

We have coming up this hour somebody who is enabling these white people to celebrate their Independence Day.

And as the Democrats tweeted out earlier this week, Donald Trump is supporting white supremacy on July 4th because he's going to be at Mount Rushmore.

We have the governor of South Dakota to talk about that and her fragility and whiteness, all of that coming up.

And in one minute, a guy who will really be be able to help us balance

security and freedom.

What exactly do we do, and can we get some freedoms back that we have lost?

Like, for instance, I don't know,

somebody coming into my house as a police officer and taking my stuff and never giving it back.

Rand Paul joins us in 60 seconds.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

So Michael lives in Georgia, and like me, as a German Shepherd who wasn't much of an eater, I don't know, is that a German Shepherd thing?

Because, man, Uno would not eat.

We would have to hand feed him.

Now, Harley is Michael's German Shepherd, and she would eat dry kibble food.

Definitely not her game.

If Michael's anything like me, we tried everything to get her to eat.

He decided to do what I've done, and that is give Harley some rough greens.

Now, that doesn't sound good to me, but the dogs love it.

He said, the first night I mixed rough greens into her food, she slowly began to eat, and then like a crazed maniac, she destroyed it.

That is exactly my experience.

It's Pat's experience.

It's Stu's experience with Milo.

I mean, they just love this stuff.

It's not a dog food, it's a supplement, and it has probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, omega,

some of the things that your dog needs to live a healthier lifestyle, all the things that are in Rough Greens.

So give your dog the 14-day jumpstart for $14.95.

You'll see the difference in your dog, and they love their food.

That's roughgreens.com/slash back, or call 833-Glenn33.

Roughgreens.com/slash back.

Rand Paul is joining us now.

He is trying

again

to make it harder for police to take your stuff.

It's civil asset forfeiture.

He's got a bill that he's reintroducing as police reform

hits.

And this would be a really good reform.

Rand Paul, welcome to the program.

How are you?

Hey, Glenn.

You know, it's a pretty radical notion.

We have this idea.

I don't know where we we thought of it, that you should be innocent until proven guilty, that the government should not take your stuff unless they convict you of a crime.

But it's been going on a long time.

This civil asset forfeiture, we have stories of like a young man leaving Boston, driving to California, and his dad gives him $1,000 to set up shop in California and try to find his way.

Somewhere along the road in Nevada or somewhere, he gets stopped in a little town by a trooper who says, do you have any money?

And he says, yeah, I got $1,000 my dad gave me.

He says, well, prove to us that it's not a drug money.

And they said, well, I don't know.

It's just $1,000 in cash.

And so the policeman then says, well, if you sign this agreement not to sue us, we'll give you $500 back now and you can be on your way with $500.

It's sort of highway robbery.

It's amazing that this went on.

And Institute for Justice and other good groups have looked into this.

And it's, I don't know, just amazing that we would allow people to take money from somebody without a conviction, without a charge.

And then guess where the money goes?

The money goes to buying cars and television sets for the police who took the money.

They get to keep the money and spend it at the police house.

That is actually

highway robbery.

I mean, there's no other way to describe this.

This first came to me probably in the 80s or 90s, maybe.

And I remember hearing a story of somebody who I think the IRS said,

you know, where's all this cash?

You know, we think that you're laundering money here or whatever.

And they didn't.

And they lost their business, never got their money back.

The case was never proven.

It was flimsy to begin with.

And there was nothing they could do.

That was the first time I heard about it.

And now I'm hearing more and more about situations just as you described.

And

here's another one.

Yeah, here's another one.

People had a hotel fully paid for, and they found that the police were looking for hotels that didn't have mortgages.

So they found this hotel, was completely paid off.

The guy had inherited it from his grandparents.

And they said, well, we have identified some of your rooms being used by people who are selling drugs.

And they said, well, we absolutely don't countenance that.

We have rules against it.

We'll do anything we can to prevent this from happening.

And they identified like eight rooms and eight people over a ten-year period.

It was just, you know, any hotel on the side of the road is going to have problems with this.

But what they did is they took, they tried to take the entire hotel from the family, the entire hotel, because one, it was paid off, and two, they came up with this charge that because drug dealers had used some of the rooms, that the hotel people were somehow responsible.

Institute for Justice, I believe, defended them.

They actually won the case.

But, you know, probably without the Institute for Justice's help, it would have been probably hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fee just to try to protect the government from taking your business.

So, how did we start here?

How did we get here, Rand?

How did that happen?

And it had been happening for so long.

It's well-intentioned people who think drugs are a scourge.

And I don't disagree.

I mean, I don't want our kids on drugs.

I think drugs are terrible, illegal drugs.

And I think we

should preach against that and persuade against that.

But what we allowed is too much power to gravitate to the government on this.

It's also part of what we have with some of the racial disparity.

I don't think our country is consumed with racism.

I don't think our country is consumed with prejudice.

I think we actually have less of it than we have had for a long time.

Many of us

are in many ways so much better than it was 50 years ago or 40 years ago.

But the laws have allowed a disparate amount of black individuals to be caught in the war on drugs, civil asset forfeiture, not really because of racism, but because there is more crime in poorer areas in our cities, and the police patrol there more often because they're trying to stop crime.

And so what happens is the white kid in the basement in the suburbs never gets caught with drugs, even though he may have them.

But the black or the poor kid gets caught more often.

And so our jails are disproportionately full of young black men.

And some of it is unfair because of the war on drugs.

And that's why we need to approach this more as not of a racism issue, but more of an issue of how have we approached the war on drugs and has it been unfair to some people.

So, Rand, let me switch topics here with you for just a second and ask you, because I know the one thing that I can count on with Rand Paul and just a handful of you guys is that you won't violate the Constitution for security and I am really concerned because it is absolute lawlessness lawlessness and surprisingly happening with mainly democratic mayors and governors and they are I mean

the job of the government is to protect its citizens from lawlessness.

And they're not doing it locally.

I don't want the top to come down and be a hard ass on it, but we have to have an end to this lawlessness.

How can we do it without violating the Constitution or giving any kind of new powers that we don't want to give to the state?

I think the main thing is you've hit the nail on the head.

We shouldn't back down and we shouldn't just sort of acquiesce to people and mobs taking over our cities.

But we have to be very loud and we have to loudly proclaim that not one major city or very few major cities in our countries have had a Republican mayor in the last 50 years.

Louisville is the main city in Kentucky.

We haven't had a Republican mayor since 1972.

And we've got some problems there.

But if there are complaints about the police force and complaints and needs for reform, they need to understand that the Democrats did this.

The Democrats have run our cities, our major cities, for 50 years.

And the one thing I would point out, and I think it's too simplistic to make this all about racism, is that, you know, Chicago, a third of the police force is African American.

Most of the police chiefs have been African American.

Most of the mayors have been African American over the last 50 years.

It isn't just about racism.

It's about fixing problems.

But they're all Democrats.

So

how people get away with blaming Republicans in Washington for this, these are mostly local problems.

Even President Obama, when he wrote about this, said that ultimately local officials in Minneapolis are going to have to fix this.

And in Minneapolis, there hadn't been a Republican mayor since 1972 also.

So I don't know.

Blame needs to attach where it attaches, but most law enforcement are local issues, and Democrats need to be self-examining and asking themselves, why have we been electing Democrats?

Look, Eric Garner, I spoke out about Eric Garner being choked to death five years ago, six years ago, and it was terrible.

It was about the same as a George Floyd thing, and de Blasio never fired him.

Finally, de Blasio runs for president in this sort of bizarre halfway run for president, and then he finally fired him.

But it took him five years.

The other thing we need to acknowledge is the unions get bad cops reinstated.

Most cops are good people, 99% of them.

We cannot lose sight of that.

But in Minneapolis, over like the last eight years, there have been six really bad cops who were fired.

One of them broke some guy's nose while the guy was in handcuff.

That kind of stuff can't be tolerated, and even the police will tell you that.

But then he got reinstated by the union.

And so the unions are responsible for covering this up, but not one Democrat will mention that.

You hear them doing all their fake crocodile tears all over the Senate floor, but not one of them will admit to you that, yes, the union protects bad cops.

Is there anything that the Republicans

can do and should be doing?

I mean, I feel like they're just, it's a waste.

The Republicans are a waste right now.

I think Americans feel as though there is an insurrection that is happening.

This is a very well-funded, laid-out, Marxist attack on our institutions and on our history, on all of it.

And nobody is willing to call this an insurrection.

I mean, they are calling for the destruction of the United States of America and capitalism.

Isn't there anything constitutionally that this applies to?

I think there is pushback, and I think there is a growing silent and maybe less than silent majority out there.

You know, you look at the poor people in Seattle, they are pushing back.

They are saying, my goodness.

But Seattle has elected a socialist to the city council out there.

Their mayor says, oh, this isn't an insurrection.

This is a city of love, and these are acts of love as people are being shot in this autonomous zone.

So, yes, there has to be pushback, and I think we always look to Washington for it, but really, we've got to take back our cities, and we need to point out to everybody in the city, you know, Seattle has lost, think of it, they've lost all of the cruise industry.

They had a million people coming through there every year on the cruise industry.

Now, that was some due to the virus, but they also had conventions, big cities.

Seattle's a beautiful city, and people like having conventions.

You know, the climate's cool and mild in the summertime.

Guess what?

Nobody's going to come to a city that has an autonomous zone with people shooting each other and idiots running around saying no police and defund the police.

So the cities are going to have, but people need to run for office there and they need to say the Democrats aren't.

If a Republican can't win, run as an independent and say you're going to fix the things the Democrats have screwed up for 50 years.

Rand Paul, thank you so much.

So a guy that

served as the president of Drexel University Online,

responsible for about 8,000 online adult learners

in 100 different fully degreed programs is joining us now.

He is the author of numerous books, blah, blah, blah.

But he started something called Our Community Salutes back in 2009.

Dr.

Kenneth Hartman, welcome to the program.

Glenn, it is really an honor.

I've been a big fan of you.

Going back to your days in Philadelphia when you first came to our town.

Holy cow.

I'm listening to you all the time.

Yeah, yeah.

yeah, but I

can't say thank you.

Thank you for having me on the show and certainly thank you for your amazing contribution to America Salutes this Saturday.

So explain what America Salutes is.

So

and you're really at the heart of why this is happening.

So 12 years ago when I was listening to your show, you inspired me

to

take action in my community.

And in spite of being a university president i i joined our local school board just outside philadelphia where i quickly discovered we were doing nothing to recognize the kids who were graduating from high school and who were uh enlisting directly in the military again i'm an old soldier but i was an officer rltc all that stuff 100 years ago so i started a dinner back in 2009 for all the kids in our county a beautiful event uh we only had 60 kids about 200 people word got out about this this event we called our community sleuth and i got a call from a woman in Pittsburgh, say to her, what you did, can you help us do it?

I said, sure.

And then more word got out across the country.

And 12 years later, this year, we have our community salutes ceremonies in over 50 locations.

We honor thousands and thousands of high school seniors and their parents who are enlisting in the military.

including, by the way, nine ceremonies in Texas, when COVID-19 came along and canceled all of them.

So, again, as an old soldier about commission, I decided to do something virtually.

And that's what America Salutes is.

And I got to tell you, it is the most remarkable, humbling experience of my life.

The country has come out.

Celebrities like yourself have contributed to it.

It is going to be an historic and star-studded event on Saturday.

So

this is actually to say thank you to those who are going into military service.

And I got to believe that's kind of daunting right now for a lot of people with what's going on in the cities, you know,

what's being said about the nation and everything else.

I mean,

how are enlistments going?

Not good, not good.

And again, this is for the

class of 2020, high school seniors, class of 2008, who are enlisting directly.

As their peers are going off to college, they're in the watchtower.

And what we're finding right now, Glenn, some of us have been reading this in the paper.

We are facing a national security crisis.

As the military is not meeting their enrollment goals because enlistment goals because of what's going on.

And then recent events in the cities have caused many of these high school seniors to withdraw their commitment.

And that's why your great advice to the high school enlistees about in the show about our nation's history and the Constitution is so important.

That's why we gave, as you may know,

and we created an amazing pocket guide guide to the U.S.

Constitution that we gave the 10,000 high school seniors.

And that's why this Saturday we need a million Americans to come to our Americanslets.us and sign our virtual thank-you card to the class of 2020 high school seniors and their parents.

They must know that their country is behind them,

especially now more than ever.

It's so important that they come, watch a show, sign that virtual thank you card so that we can tell them that their country is behind them.

That is really important in these times.

Police are having a hard time with recruits.

The military is having a hard time.

And the silent must not be silent.

And this is a really easy way for you to help.

It's happening this Saturday, but you can go to Americasalutes.us

and sign the thank-you card for these.

It would be great if we could get a million people to to sign that.

I urge you to post this on Facebook and Twitter and everywhere else and get people to sign this virtual thank you card because this is our future.

So go to Americasalutes.us.

Americasalutes.us.

Kenneth, thank you so much.

And it's always nice to hear from somebody who said that

something I said prompted them to do something.

And

I didn't know that.

And I think that's

I'm honored by that.

You're doing real good.

Thank you.

Thank you, sir.

Good luck tonight.

I'll be watching.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot.

Dr.

Kenneth Hartman, Americasalutes.us.

All right.

I don't know if you know this, but the Democrats tweeted out just the other day, and boy, how right they were.

Donald Trump is celebrating white supremacy by going and celebrating the 4th of July at Mount Rushmore.

Well,

we have

the governor of South Dakota and her white fragility

on here in just a second to answer for this horrid, horrid crime of 4th of July at Mount Rushmore.

Next.

Can you believe it?

All right, getting a good clean shave

is just really, I mean, it just feels good when you really have a really close shave.

Now, some people haven't shaved in about three months.

And, you know,

you might need a Sherpa to help guide you through that forest that's on your face.

But the one thing that you can't forget is the shaving gels and all that stuff, that's all marketing.

The best way to get a great shave is the way the kings used to shave, and that's with a special proprietary blend of essential oils.

And what you do is you just rub it into your face.

It's an oil, not a foam.

It reduces, even eliminates a lot of the shaving irritation.

In fact, it covers all of them, but it can eliminate most, if not all, of them, for men and women.

Ingrown hairs, shave bumps, redneck, bikini bumps, snicks, all of that.

Hello, it's the Glen Beg program.

Booty bada booba booba-ba-ba-bao.

I have no idea.

Can you tell?

It feels like Friday to me.

Restoring Hope happens tonight on YouTube, the Blaze, Facebook, commercial-free from the Standing Rock Ranch, Restoring Hope.

And I hope that we hit 8 p.m.

We're having all kinds of technical difficulties, and

we're going to say 8-ish.

We're going to say 8-ish.

But we'll see.

Tonight, don't miss it.

Bring your family together and tell your friends.

It's kind of a strange idea to promote a network special at a roundabout sort of time.

Shut up.

Is that something that has ever been done before?

Shut up.

No.

It's weird, though, that it would have tried to be.

You want to talk about something.

The world is such a crazy place.

Who would have foreseen a global pandemic

hitting our society?

Who would have foreseen

all this craziness that we've gone through in the past few months?

And who would have foreseen that you would blow up a special bigger than initially planned without the resources or personnel to accomplish it?

And then it would go over budget and over time.

And none of that is true.

And then it would eventually wind up being that you're looking at a computer rooting for the percentage to go up to 100 so you can actually put it on the air on time

30 seconds.

Like we're looking

at it.

It is like looking at your computer when it's like,

you know, 8%, 8%, and you're like, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.

This should only take a couple of minutes, and then you're like an hour into it.

You're like,

when is this going to be finished?

Anyway, tonight, 8 p.m.-ish, make sure you join us.

Blaze TV.

All right.

Governor Christy Noam is here to explain her whiteness.

She is the governor of South Dakota, which is practically a slave state, even though it never had any slaves in South Dakota.

I think we all know that

they're still enslaving people now.

And the president wants to go and celebrate his whiteness by going to Mount Rushmore on the 4th of July.

Governor Noam.

Oh, thank you.

How do you answer to that?

How do you answer to those charges?

I firmly reject that notion.

I can't even believe we're having this discussion in America today.

Well, I will tell you this.

There is a sorted history about Mount Rushmore and those mountains, but it's old history, and I don't have a problem recognizing it, but Mount Rushmore has never been a symbol of white supremacy.

Can we agree on that one?

Absolutely.

No, it's always been a place to honor leaders of this country that did specific things to ensure our liberties and our freedoms that need to be remembered and told to future generations.

So nobody's ever said that any of our past leaders were perfect or that they didn't have flaws or they didn't make mistakes, but they did incredible things that are still impacting our lives each and every day here.

And that is why they're memorialized on this mountain and why we go there and take our families and visit and tell the stories of them and the accomplishments that they have because today we're still standing on their shoulders and enjoying our freedoms because of the work that they did.

I will tell you, I would not be surprised if things continue to go the way they are and there's no turnaround from here.

I would not be surprised if Mount Rushmore didn't exist in my lifetime.

Well, if I'm alive, it'll still exist.

I mean, I'm going to

keep in this mountain.

It's a national monument that is a treasure to our country.

And in fact, I'm working to raise some funds to take these four men and put their statues on our state capitol.

I want to put these four men around the dome.

We have the infrastructure in place.

I just need to pay for the statues.

But while the rest of the country is tearing down monuments, I want South Dakota to be known for putting up monuments and telling this country's history because

it is so important for our future that we learn from our past, that we understand how we got to where we are today.

And if other states want to take different paths, boy, South Dakota is going to be different, and we will stand up and tell the world.

You have to let me know about that project because I'd love to help you with that.

I'd love to help you with that.

So the president is coming on Saturday.

The crowd is controlled.

You have to have a ticket, I assume.

And there's only so many people that can be there.

What are you expecting on protests?

Well, he's actually coming on Friday, so it'd be great if all the protesters thought it was Saturday.

But

that would be fantastic, actually.

But he's coming on Friday on the 3rd

because we are

traditionally that's when fireworks always happened at Mount Rushmore.

And it gave everybody the opportunity to wake up on July 4th on Independence Day with

on their TV screens a view of fireworks going over Mount Rushmore and gave us the opportunity to really talk about the special place and what independence means.

So he is coming back to Mount Rushmore on the 3rd.

It's been 11 years since we've been able to have the fireworks.

They were taken away during the Obama administration.

And one of the first things I asked the president for as soon as I won election as governor was, could you help me get fireworks back at Mount Rushmore?

And he grabbed a hold of it.

Go ahead.

Go ahead.

No, I just, you know, it's so interesting to hear because what I've been reading from the New York Times and others is that it wasn't Obama taking that away.

It was the Forest Service and the National Park

because it's been a tinderbox up there, and the whole thing would go up in flames if you had fireworks.

Is that not true?

Well, it was environmental concerns,

but obviously those entities are within an administration within the federal government.

And it was when Obama was in office that that was decided that they were going to stop having fireworks over Mount Rushmore.

Ironically fireworks happened throughout the Black Hills and several other communities at the same time.

The only ones that were stopped were the ones that were at Mount Rushmore.

But we have now gotten them back.

We've gone through a year of environmental processes.

We've gone through the permitting processes.

The National Park Service has been doing control burns and back burns, making sure that we've done assessments and met all the concerns.

So even though we are having fireworks back at Mount Rushmore, you know, know, we've complied with all of the environmental concerns that may be out there to do this correctly and safely and have a wonderful event.

So, Bernhardt, who is the Secretary of the Interior, has been fantastic to work with on it, and it wouldn't have gotten done without his help with me and the President constantly pushing to get it done.

Well, Governor,

I appreciate your hard work and appreciate the way you've handled COVID and everything all the way along.

I would like to be the first to be

arrogant enough to even ask the question.

This 4th of July, we were supposed to be in Gettysburg, and we were working on a fireworks presentation, very different and really,

really quite amazing.

And I would love a place to do it.

Is it possible at all that

Mount Rushmore might be available next year to do something.

Oh, absolutely.

Yeah, we're going to continue the tradition of having fireworks there at Mount Rushmore.

This year, obviously, we've pulled out all the stops.

We've got flyovers.

The Blue Angels are here.

We've got several different

military aircraft that will be there doing some special things.

The President will give a speech.

The U.S.

Air Force Band will be there playing.

It's going to be a special event.

We had a lottery system for tickets.

125,000 people

submitted within two days into receive the 7,500 tickets that can be given on the place.

People are coming from all over the country to enjoy it this year, but we will tell the story of the country, our history.

I think the President's speech will focus on how important these leaders are in the mountain, and it'll be a great launching pad for your event next year as well.

We're going to continue that here in South Dakota.

We value this country and the opportunity we get to wake up here every day.

So, Crazy Horse, they still do fireworks there, do they not?

You know, I'm not sure if they do fireworks actually at Crazy Horse.

They do some special events there,

and there is several communities real close by there that do do fireworks.

But

how does the

go ahead, I'm sorry.

No, Crazy Horse is just a really special place as well.

It's sacred to the Lakota Nation and the Native Americans in the area.

And it is an entire mountain that is being carved today and still worked on to honor Crazy Horse and his leadership to our Native American people.

So that is just not too far from Mount Rushmore.

It's a wonderful thing to see all people in the area as well.

Yeah,

it's truly a wonder of the world, I think.

If you think Mount Rushmore is impressive, Crazy Horse, when it will be finished, probably around the year 3030,

is going to be absolutely remarkable.

I mean, it's amazing, and it's a private family.

They won't take any government money to do it, and it's really remarkable.

How does

it a sacred mountain?

All of those are sacred mountains.

Is it just Mount Rushmore that is of offense to the

Native Americans?

Or is that overblown?

Or what?

There's actually other locations in the Black Hills that they consider to be very sacred.

I do know that

the entire Black Hills, many within the Native American community,

believe that it belongs to them.

And people will have to study our history to really see where they land on that.

But there has been some legal action and

some decisions in court regarding that and those decisions.

But regardless, there is always consultation with Native American tribes on everything.

Even with this event at Mount Rushmore, there was consultation with tribes to make sure that we were complying with the cultural balance that's there.

So that's something that I hope everybody recognizes that we think is incredibly important.

And we did consult with them as this was planned and making sure that we honored that.

Yeah.

Governor Christy Noam from South Dakota, have a great time this weekend

and celebrate the true meaning of Independence Day and the true promise that those documents that that were signed on July 2nd, July 4th really promise to everyone, no matter their color.

Thank you so much.

Appreciate it.

Exactly.

Yep.

Thanks so much.

You have a great day.

You too.

Bye-bye.

You know,

it's incredible to me that

we don't recognize the bad things in our history.

And quite honestly,

what we did to the Native Americans, especially the Native Americans in South Dakota, you know, 100 years plus,

was horrible, was truly horrible.

You know,

it ended at Wounded Knee, which I've been trying to get the

the Congressional Medal of Honor winners to

send all of the national medals of honor to anybody who received one for wounded knee.

It was a slaughter, and we knew exactly what we were doing.

At least the leader that came in from Washington,

he didn't care.

He had his own point of view about the Native Americans, and he didn't care.

And it was a slaughterhouse and a massacre, and it was wrong.

And we should recognize those things.

But we should also recognize that there's a lot of people then and a lot of people now

that are that take their spirit from Davey Crockett

and appreciate the Native Americans.

My ranch is part of

sacred

territory

from a Native American tribe, and it's the Shoshonees, and we take that seriously.

There are Indian prayer circles on one of the hills of our ranch, and we believe this is sacred ground as well,

and do everything we can to protect it and to keep it a sacred land.
