Where Has All The Respect Gone? | 11/29/19

2h 2m
James T. Harris is on the program discussing child development, figures of authority, and above all, respect. First lady Melania Trump was booed by school kids during an appearance in Baltimore. Why do so many young people display such a blatant disregard for those appointed to lead? Allow us to reflect on how Democrats like Barack Obama and Maxine Waters have been inciting incivility among the Left for over a decade.

The impeachment hearings will go on, but nothing of substance will come of them. President Trump continues to act on behalf of the American people, even while the entire opposition in Congress wastes countless hours trying to get rid of him. There was a quid pro JOE when Biden was Obama’s vice president (and Biden the younger was behaving badly). Joe Biden should not be in this race, but the liberal media is desperate for someone who can defeat Trump. Pete Buttigieg was called out for a comment he made in 2011 about education in minority communities, but did he actually say anything wrong? A caller challenges James on a number of issues involving Trump and the Democrats.

James recounts the students he taught who sought to find solutions to poverty in inner cities. Their motives were pure, but their reasoning was fundamentally flawed. Is there a war being waged against Thanksgiving? A video filmed at a “Christian” college in Minnesota sure makes it appear that way. James became a Republican not because of the people within the party, but because of the principles the party stands for. What is the Kanye West Effect?

Speaker 51 Hello, America.

Speaker 6 My name is James T.

Speaker 67 Harris, and I am a unicorn.

Speaker 80 According to the Urban Dictionary, A unicorn is a mythical creature, someone amazing who is hard to catch or simply a very hard find the term is often describing someone who is remarkably attractive but not at all crazy and has a great personality ha ha that's me i am a husband to a smoking hot wife a father to three perfect kids they never do anything wrong ever but that's not what makes me mythical no What makes me a very rare find is the fact that I am a radio talk show host who is an American of African descent, conservative, and has a great face for television.

Speaker 29 Yes, I am a beautiful man.

Speaker 79 My show is called the Conservative Circus.

Speaker 91 I am the ringmaster, and the big top is News Talk 550 KFYI out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaker 23 Now, if you would have told me any time in my life, up to a few weeks ago, that this day would happen, I'd say you're crazy.

Speaker 3 But here I am, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 81 I'm honored.

Speaker 98 I'm also very, very frightened, but that's okay because you're right here with me.

Speaker 101 Millions of you.

Speaker 3 Before I was in radio, I was a professional speaker.

Speaker 105 Before I was a speaker, I was a high school teacher for 10 years.

Speaker 108 But I have always been the child of Randolph and Dessey Harris.

Speaker 30 And the one thing they demanded of my sister and me was that we respected our elders.

Speaker 92 An adult is never never wrong.

Speaker 112 Even when they are wrong, you will show respect.

Speaker 108 That's what my father said.

Speaker 107 I have a childhood memory of my father walking into my elementary school class,

Speaker 114 looking to see where I was.

Speaker 115 We had eye contact.

Speaker 30 Then he went over to the teacher.

Speaker 7 The teacher's name was Mr. Fritchie.

Speaker 19 I remember it because this was a traumatic experience that I had.

Speaker 116 The teacher was surprised. Mr.
Fritchie was like, Mr.

Speaker 76 Harris, why are you here?

Speaker 115 They had met during parent-teacher conferences.

Speaker 21 And my father told Mr.

Speaker 86 Fritchie, if my son ever gives you any problems, if my son ever disrespects you, you have my permission to whoop his assets.

Speaker 121 That's what he said.

Speaker 72 He didn't say assets, but you know.

Speaker 21 And my eyes went wide, and I sat straight up, and Mr.

Speaker 104 Fritchie said to my father, Mr.

Speaker 8 Harris, I'm sure things won't come to that.

Speaker 17 I mean, James, he's a very disciplined young man.

Speaker 123 And my father said, just in case i want you to know i want him to know i want the class to know you

Speaker 125 have

Speaker 117 my permission yeah my parents were very very serious

Speaker 127 about respecting authority i tried to pass that on to my kids No, you had that first kid and that first kid is wonderful.

Speaker 128 That first kid is perfect.

Speaker 31 And you think that you know what?

Speaker 83 You are the greatest parents on the planet.

Speaker 3 Then God gives you that second child to let you know you had nothing to do with it.

Speaker 31 My number two, wild child, my number two, you know, number one would say, mom, can I cross the line?

Speaker 27 And mom would say, no, and so he would stay four feet from it.

Speaker 5 My number two, mom, could I cross the line?

Speaker 3 No, he would get his toes right on the other side of the line.

Speaker 68 And then when you weren't looking, he put his foot all the way over and then bring it back.

Speaker 19 Number two,

Speaker 106 when we go to parent-teacher conferences, obviously he was very, very bright, but you know, he had, he acted out.

Speaker 86 My solution, well, I pulled from my father.

Speaker 89 I said, look, put my name on the board and put my telephone number, my cell number, right next to it.

Speaker 105 If you ever have a problem, just point to that number.

Speaker 84 And number two,

Speaker 104 whenever he did have a problem, the teacher pointed to the number and he just sat down, eyes wide,

Speaker 117 back straight.

Speaker 19 we respect authority never had a real problem out of my number three my daughter until she grew up and turned into a teenager but that's a different story for a different day

Speaker 135 respecting authority when I was a high school teacher I was the first American of African descent working in that high school and there were there were black students there they tried me I'm at the board and I'm putting up the lesson and all of a sudden, boom, I get hit in the back of the head with an eraser from two black kids.

Speaker 140 Again, I'm the only black teacher in school.

Speaker 51 How are you going to treat me like this? What? What?

Speaker 108 You know, I turned around to them and said the same thing Don Lemon said to me years later when I was on his show, you know, during the presidential debate with Obama.

Speaker 141 I said, brother, really?

Speaker 25 Really?

Speaker 25 Seriously?

Speaker 92 I shut the class down.

Speaker 1 I took off some paper and put some tape over the window.

Speaker 31 And the students were like, what are you doing, Mr.

Speaker 22 Harris?

Speaker 114 I'm like, you know what? Class is over.

Speaker 98 When the bell rings, I want everybody out of the class except for you two sitting in the front row, the ones who threw the eraser at my head.

Speaker 108 The kids left the classroom. I locked the door.
They couldn't see in because that's why I put the paper up.

Speaker 2 And then I did something very unprofessional.

Speaker 5 I took off my

Speaker 5 suit coat.

Speaker 69 I wore a suit and tie every day as a teacher.

Speaker 143 You know, I think that that would sort of command more respect.

Speaker 83 I loosened up my tie, I rolled up my shirt, and then I went over and I engaged the two young men

Speaker 2 and then I opened a door and I threw their books and their coats out it was the last class of the day and then I packed up all of my stuff because I knew that I was going to be fired I knew it

Speaker 119 you just can't engage people like that and you're you can't do that

Speaker 79 So I was expecting to be called down to the principal's office just like students do and I was expecting to be dismissed.

Speaker 145 It didn't happen.

Speaker 21 the day after that, it didn't happen.

Speaker 146 The day after that, it didn't happen.

Speaker 2 So I went to the students, they came to class, they were perfectly well-behaved, they were respectful,

Speaker 32 and I kept them after class. One day I'm like, hey, you know what,

Speaker 95 what happened?

Speaker 131 They're like, what do you mean?

Speaker 2 Say, didn't you go home and tell your parents what happened?

Speaker 5 And they said, no.

Speaker 95 I'm like, why?

Speaker 77 They said, because they would have whooped our assets too.

Speaker 25 Your parents demanded respect.

Speaker 15 Your parents would have been embarrassed if they would have known, if they knew how you treated a teacher, someone in authority.

Speaker 2 Yes, Mr. Harris.
Okay.

Speaker 136 Well, I'm glad we have this understanding.

Speaker 108 Funny sidebar story.

Speaker 108 Years later, I was driving to church, had the whole family, all three kids, and we were driving to church, and I noticed that a car did a U-turn and started to follow me, and it kind of freaked me out.

Speaker 147 I turned left, he turned left, I turned right, he turned right.

Speaker 31 Followed me right into the parking lot of the church.

Speaker 136 And I'm like, okay, this is serious business.

Speaker 19 Honey, let's get the kids out, get in church.

Speaker 76 Somebody, get somebody out here.

Speaker 8 You know, I'm being stalked.

Speaker 94 Well, it turns out that the stalker was one of the kids that I had the engagement with years ago.

Speaker 131 He saw me driving in the minivan, recognized me, and just wanted to talk to me.

Speaker 21 He had his wife in the car, and he had two kids.

Speaker 31 And he said, Mr.

Speaker 112 Harris, I thought that was you. Mr.
Harris, do you remember that day?

Speaker 151 I'm like, of course I I remember that day.

Speaker 69 He said, Mr. Harris, I just want you to know I graduated from high school.

Speaker 9 I went to the Navy.

Speaker 9 I've had so much success.

Speaker 22 I told my wife about you.

Speaker 152 I told my friends about you.

Speaker 30 I told them about that day and how that day really just changed things for me and how important respect is.

Speaker 21 I was relieved that it wasn't something serious, but I was also very much humbled.

Speaker 121 Respect.

Speaker 154 All of this floods into my mind

Speaker 9 as I face the fact that the first lady of the United States of America goes to an opaque summit.

Speaker 106 And there's Americans of African descent, kids, really middle schoolers.

Speaker 53 She walks in.

Speaker 21 Here's a woman who is learned.

Speaker 159 Here's a woman who speaks multiple languages.

Speaker 99 Here's a woman who has dedicated her time

Speaker 69 and her resources to address a problem that is plaguing America, that is plaguing this neighborhood.

Speaker 137 And she is greeted with a chorus of booze.

Speaker 102 Booze.

Speaker 94 See, the headlines say that First Lady was booed at an opiate summit.

Speaker 11 But if it were reversed, they would introduce race to the equation.

Speaker 163 See, see, see, see, it should read, black students boo first lady.

Speaker 94 But the media is not going to do that, are they?

Speaker 165 No, they're not.

Speaker 110 So we have to, we have to break this down.

Speaker 85 Because I think there are two factors.

Speaker 100 There are two things that are at work here.

Speaker 100 One of them is the absolute breakdown of the family.

Speaker 139 But the other

Speaker 139 is how the media is manipulating.

Speaker 166 How the media is spinning.

Speaker 71 How the media is causing people to

Speaker 20 turn against one another how they're continuing to foment racism

Speaker 22 I believe that we are way past the time,

Speaker 129 way past the time where we can blame race for anything.

Speaker 167 And yet, that is the chief weapon.

Speaker 132 That is the tool

Speaker 94 that the left uses.

Speaker 122 We're going to get into

Speaker 161 how the media has responded to this.

Speaker 168 If you paid attention to my earlier stories, you know where I'm coming from.

Speaker 9 I say that this is a complete breakdown of the family.

Speaker 20 It's not just the black community.

Speaker 109 Do you remember Cameron Casey?

Speaker 117 He's from the Parkland, one of the Parkland survivors.

Speaker 99 And you had Senator Marco Rubio go down and to meet with the survivors.

Speaker 92 Remember that town hall meeting?

Speaker 170 Do you remember the disrespect that those kids showed

Speaker 31 a sitting senator of the United States in the United States of America.

Speaker 85 Disrespect.

Speaker 127 I absolutely shut off everything he was saying afterwards.

Speaker 108 I couldn't hear it because of the lack of respect.

Speaker 172 Meanwhile, you've got Nick Sandman. Remember him?

Speaker 156 From one of the Covington Catholic kids that were in Washington, D.C.

Speaker 174 And he was approached by a Native American.

Speaker 30 And yes, and yes, remember how the media treated that story treated that young man

Speaker 1 I'm telling you we've got things to talk about

Speaker 129 James T Harris sitting in for Glenn Beck this is the Glenn Beck program

Speaker 160 James T. Harris sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 1 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 153 You know, I'm sitting here and I'm just thinking about how the culture has changed.

Speaker 67 And the culture has changed tremendously since I was a high school teacher.

Speaker 1 I stopped teaching in 2000.

Speaker 20 I loved every single day as a high school teacher until it was finished actually i was teaching history i was teaching it backwards i didn't follow the timeline you know where you you start uh if you're american history you started the founding but the reality is you never really make it past world war ii right so i switched it i started to teach history starting with the president and then moving backwards and i cut it into seasons and generational cycles that way when spring came back up you know what you could you could remember that you could have context.

Speaker 108 It didn't work out with the state testing.

Speaker 84 And then there was a little disagreement.

Speaker 21 I should say a misunderstanding on my part.

Speaker 88 I thought the principal was offering suggestions.

Speaker 21 No, actually, he was telling me that this is the way it has to be done. And that was pretty much it.

Speaker 118 Still, when we look at teaching today, we look at the schools, I can honestly tell you that the teachers are no longer in charge.

Speaker 30 When I was a professional speaker, I did speaking for high schools, and I would only do it primarily for private schools or for public schools when you know the teachers had to be in the room.

Speaker 21 I said this, they have to be, they can't leave the auditorium because the kids will just sort of just like take over.

Speaker 154 Mob mentality.

Speaker 135 So I had to ask the question: where were the adults in the room when the First Lady of the United States

Speaker 95 walked out

Speaker 102 to

Speaker 102 these booze?

Speaker 141 It is my pleasure to introduce to you the first lady of the United States of America

Speaker 201 Breaks my heart

Speaker 89 Breaks my heart

Speaker 8 and then

Speaker 18 When this got picked up and the news is covering it

Speaker 77 You had you had different reactions.

Speaker 9 You had a reaction on the from the right side of the aisle Of Of course, you had a reaction from the left side of the aisle.

Speaker 118 You had

Speaker 31 Tommy Lorraine.

Speaker 124 She came on and she gave sort of like

Speaker 71 a nuanced approach here. She was talking about how the children will be children.

Speaker 202 Well, yes, and I think this is not only because, of course, she is Melania and her last name is Trump, but this is also just a lack of respect from young people. But where do they learn that from?

Speaker 202 Where do they learn that disrespect? Where do they learn that it is okay to boo the First Lady of the United States?

Speaker 202 Well, they learn that because they don't believe that they have to respect Melania or anyone with the last name of Trump, because the media and congressional leaders and Democrats have told them that they don't have to, that it's their moral right to do those things.

Speaker 202 So, this is an epidemic in this country, not just of people not liking anyone with the last name of Trump, but just with young people being completely disrespectful.

Speaker 129 Tommy Larin.

Speaker 19 Yeah, she's right to a certain degree.

Speaker 160 Yeah, you have to be taught respect.

Speaker 116 I just talked about how you have to be taught respect.

Speaker 113 I was taught respect.

Speaker 97 It was drilled into me.

Speaker 125 I made sure that I taught my kids to respect authority,

Speaker 114 even though we're talking about a different generation.

Speaker 31 Now, I want you to hear from D.

Speaker 123 L.

Speaker 127 Hughley.

Speaker 138 He is a radio talk show host.

Speaker 21 He has a TV show.

Speaker 153 He's a comedian.

Speaker 106 Here was his take.

Speaker 203 Melania Trump shows up in Baltimore, taboos and jeers.

Speaker 203 She's an anti-opiate, anti-drug message. Do you think she deserved that type of treatment?

Speaker 145 I do.

Speaker 140 Her husband disparaged Baltimore.

Speaker 203 Yeah, very much so.

Speaker 95 Roaded, infested.

Speaker 160 And sent his woman in, which I think is cowardly.

Speaker 95 Right.

Speaker 84 If you send your woman into a hornet, you created, I think that's cowardly.

Speaker 80 But the other thing is Baltimore ain't an opiate drug capital.

Speaker 108 It's a heroin.

Speaker 80 Right.

Speaker 123 So you went with the wrong woman and the wrong drug.

Speaker 78 Okay, haha.

Speaker 89 That was so funny.

Speaker 165 Not really.

Speaker 21 Not really.

Speaker 84 See, he made it about President Trump.

Speaker 21 And he made it about President Trump speaking truthfully about Baltimore, the district of Elijah Cummings, how people lived in rat-infested areas.

Speaker 71 See, this is what the media will do.

Speaker 148 The media, honestly, D.L.

Speaker 108 Hughley says that these kids remember when President Trump talked about their neighborhood.

Speaker 200 Really?

Speaker 153 Really?

Speaker 84 Is that what got them going?

Speaker 90 I don't think so.

Speaker 9 I think that they were taught this.

Speaker 124 I think that they were poured in these cups of sorrows.

Speaker 137 I also think that it's because

Speaker 12 we have a generation of kids that do not have parents in their lives.

Speaker 131 We're going to talk about that.

Speaker 152 Coming up next, James T.

Speaker 107 Harris Harris sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 108 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 108 You're listening to Glenn Beck.

Speaker 175 The Black Friday Super Sale is on at cbdistillery.com.

Speaker 178 You've wanted to try CBD for yourself, right?

Speaker 175 Well, now is the time to do it during the the CB Distillery Black Friday Super Sale because right now you'll save 30% on all CBD products.

Speaker 186 CBD is the powerful extract from the hemp version of cannabis. And while it may offer many of the health benefits of marijuana, there's no high.

Speaker 178 Again, enter shop to save 30% at cbdistillery.com.

Speaker 195 Cbdistillery.com.

Speaker 135 It's Black Friday.

Speaker 127 My name is James T.

Speaker 87 Harris, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 84 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 21 We're discussing the fact that Milani Trump, the first lady of the United States, was booed by a bunch of black middle schoolers.

Speaker 136 And I think that this is a cultural phenomenon.

Speaker 127 I think that this is something that should be discussed.

Speaker 21 It needs to be discussed.

Speaker 85 Yes, yes.

Speaker 138 Children today are more disrespectful than they are in the past, but every generation says that, right?

Speaker 114 And you can talk about schools back in the 1950s when the biggest problem was skipping and lying and chewing gum.

Speaker 87 And then in the 1960s, we got the boomers that came on board with their shenanigans, and then the Xers after them. Then we have the millennials.

Speaker 20 And we're almost into a new generation beyond the millennials.

Speaker 110 The culture.

Speaker 133 is just not respectful.

Speaker 142 We see it in our politics, and our politics are now bleeding over into families.

Speaker 19 We're going to talk about

Speaker 108 Thanksgiving on the on the Glenbeck program today and how that has changed because of rudeness, because of just political hatred.

Speaker 22 But right now, we're talking about these kids in Baltimore.

Speaker 17 Now there is another, there is the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey used to say, but for right now,

Speaker 1 I want to talk about the disrespect that's going on because it's not just the booing of the First Lady.

Speaker 168 If we're talking about what's happening in what people like to refer to as the black community, we got a lack of respect for for police officers.

Speaker 114 What was this?

Speaker 20 This summer, you know, police officers are trying to do their jobs, and you got people running up and hitting them with water balloons and water guns, and that's supposed to be okay.

Speaker 1 It's supposed to be okay because of the mythical hands-up, don't shoot. It's supposed to be okay because of the Trayvon Martin hoax.

Speaker 117 It's supposed to be okay.

Speaker 135 I don't think so.

Speaker 160 And I think

Speaker 21 what it is, is actually dangerous.

Speaker 109 By allowing our children to be disrespectful, we are putting them in harm's way in so many different environments.

Speaker 80 Do you want to weigh in on this?

Speaker 5 888727B

Speaker 9 is the telephone number.

Speaker 116 I'm starting to hear from folks.

Speaker 205 I forgot to do my shameless plugs.

Speaker 2 You can follow me on Facebook at James T.

Speaker 20 Harris Media.

Speaker 68 You can follow me on Twitter at James T.

Speaker 21 Harris. I also have an Instagram page, James T.

Speaker 72 Harris.

Speaker 143 would love to hear from you would love to to share with you what I'm thinking

Speaker 172 and you know through social media and even with social media you can get rude and disrespectful I mean there are no rules on social media unless you are a conservative

Speaker 34 they'll enforce the rules if you're a conservative They'll call you out

Speaker 17 for being rude and for being disrespectful if you are a conservative but when it comes to the left side of the aisle

Speaker 153 we are letting the children run free

Speaker 125 now

Speaker 38 there's the other side the media the media loves to fan these flames the media you know if it if it were an american of european descent oh oh the media is all over that because there is a war on Americans of European descent, especially if they are male.

Speaker 104 They're even coming up with new terms like cis and this i can't even follow it but you know it you know what's happening

Speaker 72 when we talk about all of the hatred that is going on especially if we're talking about racial hatred political hatred i would like to to say to you that that doesn't really exist among we the people

Speaker 124 that exists in the media

Speaker 83 that is what the media is pushing, that is what the media trades on.

Speaker 31 If it bleeds, it leads, especially if it is anti-conservative, especially if it is anti-Trump.

Speaker 110 Now, the first lady, she walked into this gauntlet.

Speaker 76 You had D.L.

Speaker 11 Hughley saying that, you know what,

Speaker 21 that shows you the kind of man that President Trump is to send his woman in there with the wrong message.

Speaker 157 I'm sorry.

Speaker 21 I think it shows you the type of individuals President Trump and Melania Trump are

Speaker 21 I'm quite sure she knew that she would not get the the

Speaker 86 the respect of the crowd she probably sensed it she went anyway

Speaker 67 and you know what she stuck to her message

Speaker 31 and here's something that the media did not report

Speaker 86 by the end of Melania Trump's presentation

Speaker 124 she won the crowd over.

Speaker 157 There was far more cheering when she was finished than when she walked in.

Speaker 157 Her simple message

Speaker 95 won the crowd over.

Speaker 139 The crowd of angry teenagers, or maybe adults flooded the room.

Speaker 22 Maybe adults realized how embarrassing this was.

Speaker 18 It doesn't matter.

Speaker 125 However, it happened.

Speaker 199 Her poise.

Speaker 106 Her grace.

Speaker 7 Her comments afterwards.

Speaker 2 We live in a democracy and people should be able to express themselves.

Speaker 68 Maybe Melania should tell that to Twitter or to Mark Zuckerberg over there at Facebook.

Speaker 69 They should be able to express themselves.

Speaker 15 You used to be able to do that.

Speaker 83 But the first lady, I think, proved a point.

Speaker 94 And the point is, you know what?

Speaker 156 Even if you are being disrespected,

Speaker 119 if you show respect, it's going to elicit a positive response.

Speaker 173 It could.

Speaker 123 It might.

Speaker 115 And more of us should take the opportunity just to give it a chance.

Speaker 157 Was that one of the liberal songs back from the 1960s or 70s?

Speaker 79 All we are saying

Speaker 32 is give grace a chance.

Speaker 25 Give respect

Speaker 5 a chance.

Speaker 85 They call it love.

Speaker 116 That's like the

Speaker 20 every word.

Speaker 95 Love.

Speaker 21 888727 Beck, Beck, if you want to get in on this conversation, it's tied into everything.

Speaker 11 There was the big news yesterday.

Speaker 94 We had the Democrats who were trying to prepare liberals for the

Speaker 159 Thanksgiving dinner.

Speaker 94 You had Democrats who were giving instructions.

Speaker 166 You had CNN who were giving out pamphlets on how to deal with the President Trump.

Speaker 21 how to deal with President Trump and his policies.

Speaker 108 It was quite hilarious.

Speaker 31 And it's quite the change.

Speaker 113 Now we have Democrats out there who are calling for peace.

Speaker 29 Now we have Democrats out there who are wanting to just, you know, have conversation.

Speaker 143 We have Democrats

Speaker 2 who don't want you to be mean because it's the Republicans that are mean.

Speaker 1 It's the Republicans that are bigoted.

Speaker 70 It's the Republicans that are part of, what did they say on CNN last week we are part of a cult

Speaker 151 we're part of for ISIS

Speaker 100 and you don't invite ISIS to the to the table you don't do that to the Thanksgiving table but if you do you have to treat them with respect well that's interesting because I remember President Obama

Speaker 114 I remember President Obama back in the day.

Speaker 133 He had quite different instructions.

Speaker 168 He was telling people, you know what?

Speaker 53 We need to, I need for you all to, you know, to just get all up in folks' face.

Speaker 20 I need for you all to get just get all personal.

Speaker 208 Talk to them whether they're independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.
And

Speaker 208 if they tell you that, well, we're not sure where he stands on guns, I want you to say he believes in the Second Amendment.

Speaker 208 If they tell you, well, he's going to raise your taxes you say no he's not he's gonna lower them

Speaker 92 no I need for you to get up in their face if they if if they're saying they're gonna raise your taxes I want you to lie to them and say no we're gonna lower them

Speaker 15 if they say we're not gonna be able to keep our health care I want you to lie to them And you know what?

Speaker 91 That was in 2008.

Speaker 5 Things have ramped up since then.

Speaker 35 The very same party that is trying to tell you to, you know, be calm and just tell the Republicans what Democrats would do for you they got to explain

Speaker 8 maxine waters

Speaker 209 and if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant in a department store at a gasoline station you get out and you create a crowd

Speaker 102 and you push back on them and you tell them they're not welcome anymore anywhere

Speaker 124 they're not welcome anymore they're not welcome anywhere.

Speaker 197 And we've seen Republicans, conservatives chased out of restaurants.

Speaker 19 We've seen them harassed.

Speaker 133 And yet, we have the tolerant left saying that it is it is Trump supporters. It's we the people.
It's conservative.

Speaker 156 It's Republicans that are doing that.

Speaker 6 No

Speaker 7 the lack of civility

Speaker 21 is not from the right side of the aisle.

Speaker 210 Oh, we can get there.

Speaker 71 But this lack of civility is something that is spreading like a poison and it's getting worse.

Speaker 86 And I don't think we're the ones that are perpetuating it.

Speaker 143 This is what makes some of the 2020 politics very, very interesting because when you look on what's happening on the left side of the aisle,

Speaker 88 the left side of the aisle,

Speaker 131 the Democrats are so calm, they're starting to put us all to sleep.

Speaker 109 James T.

Speaker 29 Harris, sitting in on Black Friday for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 29 Happy Black Friday.

Speaker 109 James T.

Speaker 133 Harris, sit again for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 84 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

Speaker 21 You know, I am out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaker 156 News Talk 550 K FYI.

Speaker 166 I love living in the valley of the sun.

Speaker 157 It's just a beautiful, especially this time of year, especially this time of year, as the rest of the country is kind of cold, freezing, snowy.

Speaker 88 Now, we got rain, but that was just for like a half a day, and then the sun shine returns.

Speaker 132 It's a beautiful thing, and it's also a beautiful thing that we're in an election year.

Speaker 20 I know that some people just bristle at that, some people get tired of the campaign commercials interrupting their flow.

Speaker 166 I have a suggestion: cut off the television.

Speaker 93 Oh, it would do a world of wonder.

Speaker 166 But if you choose to inflict that pain on yourself, I want you to look at it a different way that television the that electronic media is so powerful it has shaped reshaped our whole world

Speaker 120 the way we look at politics the way we look at church the way you know it dictates our time We have shorter

Speaker 105 attention spans because

Speaker 115 of that television, that little electronic box

Speaker 21 and the people who control it the people who manipulate it oh my goodness you have to ask yourself why am I seeing this

Speaker 198 why are they showing me this

Speaker 148 and then

Speaker 108 you also have to ask yourself what are they not showing me And the perfect prime example of that is the first lady being booed by those children, the black kids out in Baltimore at the Opioid Summit.

Speaker 21 The media wanted you to hear the booze that's why ABC NBC CBS that's why they all carried it CNN MSNBC that's why they care Fox News they carried it

Speaker 73 but no one carried the cheers when she was walking off the stage well why

Speaker 105 because it's all about the narrative it's all about control and one of the things

Speaker 23 One of the reasons why many of us in this country love President Trump is because he broke through that.

Speaker 105 He broke through that by manipulating the media himself.

Speaker 132 He broke through that as

Speaker 71 a reality TV show star.

Speaker 138 You know, I just read Bill O'Reilly's book.

Speaker 21 It's a fantastic book, The United States of Trump.

Speaker 68 And in that book, he suggests that this was all part of the plan.

Speaker 21 That President Trump planned on becoming president years ago, decades ago.

Speaker 21 And everything he did, especially that reality show, was

Speaker 11 building up to the moment.

Speaker 9 When he came down the elevator and he made the announcement,

Speaker 71 he, in a way, knew that he could talk to the people directly because

Speaker 23 of the show, because of the shows that he has done.

Speaker 169 And now with the use of Twitter and the fact that the television gave him so much time building him up because they thought they could tear him down,

Speaker 156 now he is still punking them every single day.

Speaker 108 And that's why you don't see many of the rallies anymore unless you're watching Fox.

Speaker 118 They're not going to show it because he's killing them.

Speaker 105 And something else incredible is happening.

Speaker 134 You had all the king's horses and all the king's men try to bring President Trump down with the fake

Speaker 106 the dossier story with the your collusion

Speaker 121 obstruction of justice with the Russians

Speaker 135 and now they're trying to use the same playbook with the Ukraine Ukrainian and now we have we're going to have impeachment well we're going to talk about that we're going to talk about impeachment 2.0 the impeachment hoax

Speaker 168 If you want to weigh in,

Speaker 94 it is a triple 8727

Speaker 102 back.

Speaker 166 Oh, we're going to have some fun with this.

Speaker 23 Because if you choose to watch television, if you choose to watch that box, I want you to understand how President Trump really is even beating the manipulators of this hoax.

Speaker 25 Primarily the Democrats.

Speaker 13 Oh, the Democrats, man.

Speaker 34 I'm telling you, the reason why they're doing all this is because they got to get this man out. They got to get this bad man out, the orange man.

Speaker 24 They have to get him.

Speaker 115 Because they can't beat him him at the election box james t harris sitting in for gwen beck this is the gwen beck program

Speaker 39 you're listening to glenn beck

Speaker 42 Rules and restrictions do apply.

Speaker 75 If you are

Speaker 110 a fan of impeachment, If you are a fan of the drama,

Speaker 77 of the show, you are having the time of your life i mean when is the last time we were able to really enjoy a good impeachment we got to go all the way back to bill clinton and that was fun i mean that was salacious right i was a high school teacher during that period of time and a miracle happened they made me the current events teacher right in the middle of the clinton lewinski scandal oh yes I had my students read the star report for extra credit.

Speaker 129 Yeah.

Speaker 114 Then I got called down to the principal's office because the star report really is soft porn.

Speaker 133 I'm serious.

Speaker 199 The things that Bill Clinton did in the Oval Office is

Speaker 209 terrible.

Speaker 2 But you know,

Speaker 132 it was just relations between consenting adults.

Speaker 6 That's what we were told.

Speaker 83 And that with the impact on the kids, you know, it depends on what the meaning of is.

Speaker 110 That became very popular.

Speaker 20 And also, that oral relations really isn't relations.

Speaker 35 Thank you,

Speaker 206 Bill

Speaker 25 Clinton.

Speaker 30 You know, when I was first married, my wife was on the left.

Speaker 96 She's liberal.

Speaker 121 She's liberal, but she's so beautiful that I kind of overlooked that.

Speaker 30 People credit me for flipping her.

Speaker 108 I didn't flip her.

Speaker 155 It was the impeachment hearings that flipped her.

Speaker 95 Yes.

Speaker 21 Our number one son, you know, he was old enough to pay attention and ask questions, and he kept asking, mommy, did the president do something wrong? Is he in trouble?

Speaker 21 And mom wouldn't answer the question.

Speaker 5 So I would, yes, son, he's in trouble.

Speaker 7 Well, why is he lying?

Speaker 97 Well, son, you see, what he did was that my wife was like, no,

Speaker 25 stop, stop talking.

Speaker 31 And I, there was one incident.

Speaker 17 I remember my wife diving across the living room to turn off the TV so my son would not have to hear about all that Lewinsky stuff.

Speaker 25 And I said, look at you trying to protect yourself from trying to protect your son

Speaker 143 from the man you voted for.

Speaker 103 Twice?

Speaker 17 My son said, when I grow up, I don't want to be the president because the president's always lying, getting in trouble.

Speaker 108 That's what flipped my wife.

Speaker 17 That's what flipped her.

Speaker 128 That's what moved her from being on the left side of the aisle over into the promised land.

Speaker 6 And you know what?

Speaker 87 The same thing is happening right now with this impeachment hearing.

Speaker 155 You have many Democrats who are watching these Democrat representatives.

Speaker 88 They're watching their behavior.

Speaker 22 We're seeing that the left never has accepted President Trump's 2016 election win.

Speaker 97 They have been in resistant mode from the very beginning before he was even sworn in.

Speaker 153 We've had marches.

Speaker 173 We've had just the left, the Hollywood left, lose their mind.

Speaker 97 Robert De Niro, these guys, they're losing their mind.

Speaker 170 then we had the fake

Speaker 20 Mueller investigation we had the he's colluding with the Russians

Speaker 99 and they dug deep and the deeper they dug more of the deep state was exposed more of the fact that we had operatives ladies and gentlemen We had elected officials.

Speaker 170 We had our police force.

Speaker 153 We had the FBI.

Speaker 207 We had the intelligence community trying to conduct a coup.

Speaker 207 That's crazy.

Speaker 130 That's banana republic stuff.

Speaker 35 It's happening right here.

Speaker 225 We actually are watching men in uniform lying, testifying on lies about a president of the United States, trying to overturn him because

Speaker 155 they don't like him.

Speaker 201 He's not not part of the club.

Speaker 160 I had an opportunity to read The Plot Against the President by Lee Smith.

Speaker 121 It is an excellent book.

Speaker 166 And the fact that I read that book before these impeachment hearings started, I'm sitting there able to connect the dots.

Speaker 133 I could read the stitches on the fastball.

Speaker 136 Then I sat down and I watched The Democrats Hydra.

Speaker 76 Yeah.

Speaker 118 The Glenn Beck piece.

Speaker 108 That's right.

Speaker 104 Sat down and watched it.

Speaker 86 a little over an hour.

Speaker 77 And I wanted to say, come on, come on, Glenn Beck.

Speaker 95 Come on, man.

Speaker 206 That's conspiracy.

Speaker 196 See,

Speaker 30 I used to have a conspiracy theory button right on, you know, right, right, right, right in the studio.

Speaker 19 And whenever people would call in and talk about deep state, I hit that button.

Speaker 141 Dude, it's conspiracy.

Speaker 127 You can't do that anymore.

Speaker 132 And you especially can't do that with Glenn Beck because he has all of the I's dotted and the T's crossed and he has documentation up the yang gang.

Speaker 9 You can't deny it.

Speaker 125 But then you're overwhelmed.

Speaker 33 You're overwhelmed by how deep the rabbit hole goes and how far back.

Speaker 19 The Democrats hydro is going to blow your mind, but you need to watch it.

Speaker 106 You also need to read the plot against the president by Lee Smith.

Speaker 21 When you do and you look at these impeachment hearings,

Speaker 115 you see what's going on.

Speaker 100 Now, have you noticed that since the showboat shif shift hearings you got to be careful when you say that showboat shift you know the the shift hearings

Speaker 132 he's full of

Speaker 95 shift so you got to be careful with that

Speaker 161 have you noticed that there has been some movement those rumbling sounds you hear are the independents feet moving to the conservative side of the aisle

Speaker 96 Check it out.

Speaker 21 Poll after poll and a few largely unnoticed interviews are evidence that the country in general has tired of the impeachment issue.

Speaker 31 The people want some action on things that matter in their lives.

Speaker 97 And it's obvious that Nancy Pelosi is not willing to do that.

Speaker 169 Schiff had his shot and he came up short.

Speaker 71 If you notice, The mainstream media has pretty much avoided the topic now.

Speaker 166 Instead,

Speaker 108 they're doing polls and they've they've turned their attention to the upcoming Inspector General's report.

Speaker 95 Remember that?

Speaker 129 They're not really talking about a patriot right now.

Speaker 62 Have you noticed that?

Speaker 91 Oh, oh, and Trump supporters, we've been psychoanalyzed by amateurs, pundits, and a sprinkling of experts, and we

Speaker 157 are being called cultist.

Speaker 127 We have been accused of having the mindset of ISIS members.

Speaker 2 So

Speaker 95 we can shift, shift to the side

Speaker 108 uh we've got the holiday weekend news cycle to

Speaker 71 fill

Speaker 1 now we got to get ready for the next big event on the calendar and what is that that's impeachment 2.0

Speaker 92 no you thought i you thought i was going to say that it was the usmca getting passed by

Speaker 151 silly you thought That we were going to talk about, you know, dealing with prescription drug prices.

Speaker 108 You thought that we were going to have an actual budget instead of a continuing resolution.

Speaker 29 Immigration reform?

Speaker 103 No, no, no.

Speaker 15 Health care reform?

Speaker 130 No, no, no.

Speaker 73 Is there any legislation coming out of the House?

Speaker 133 The answer is no.

Speaker 110 The House, instead, is focused on unseating a duly elected president who continues to gain even greater favor with the voters in this country.

Speaker 77 It's amazing the amount of pressure that this president has been under, and he still is working on behalf of the American people.

Speaker 25 He still

Speaker 225 is getting things

Speaker 97 done.

Speaker 197 Not Congress.

Speaker 129 Next week, they plan on resuming their march toward impeachment.

Speaker 136 But ladies and gentlemen, this time it's different.

Speaker 29 We got Natler. We got the penguin.

Speaker 96 He's on stage.

Speaker 95 He's on deck.

Speaker 91 And according to news reports, he's invited the president and the president's attorneys to attend this.

Speaker 95 Oh, oh, that's wonderful.

Speaker 225 And the letter inviting the president, you know, it's been made public.

Speaker 25 It's transparency.

Speaker 94 They want you to believe that this time.

Speaker 88 Unlike the Schiff affair, the president's been given a fair shot at addressing the issue.

Speaker 120 But,

Speaker 20 my friends, nothing could be further from the truth.

Speaker 223 And the devil

Speaker 159 is in the details.

Speaker 226 This is all amazing.

Speaker 6 And I'm going to give you the skinny, skinny, skinny coming up next.

Speaker 77 James T.

Speaker 30 Harris, sitting again for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 108 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 41 If you've been thinking about home security, there is no better time to get it than right now.

Speaker 54 Get 25% off your system, plus a free security camera.

Speaker 62 This is the best deal you'll find on home security, but you have to order before this Monday to get the exclusive offer.

Speaker 66 25% off and a free HD security camera at simplysafebeck.com. That's simplysafebeck.com.

Speaker 29 It's Black Friday.

Speaker 94 My name is James T.

Speaker 109 Harris.

Speaker 136 I'm filling in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 143 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 207 You know,

Speaker 109 you can reach out to me at jamestarris.com.

Speaker 108 You can also go to my Twitter page, which is James T.

Speaker 133 Harris, Instagram, James T.

Speaker 77 Harris, and Facebook, Jamest Harris Media.

Speaker 9 make sure if you go there to like the page and follow and then you know what say say Zucker may I please please please and maybe he'll let me follow maybe he'll he'll let the page grow but we have to be nice we have to be respectful

Speaker 35 unlike Democrats

Speaker 5 we are talking about the impeachment 2.0 and what's coming up and let's let's remember you know

Speaker 76 that all of this is over a telephone call that the president made where he was asking for a quid pro quo, supposedly, that he was going to hold up funds

Speaker 20 until the Ukraine started to investigate corruption.

Speaker 21 I think that the shift made a mistake.

Speaker 129 I think that the, you know, the whistleblower was supposed to come out and

Speaker 117 talk about this telephone call, and they thought that the president was going to protect the presidency by not releasing the transcript of the call.

Speaker 126 Wrong,

Speaker 97 wrong.

Speaker 26 He released that transcript and blew the whole thing up.

Speaker 21 And instead of America now looking at it, we can read the transcript but tell there was no quid pro quo.

Speaker 159 But you know what?

Speaker 23 There was a quid pro Joe.

Speaker 227 I said, I'm telling you, you're not getting a billion dollars.

Speaker 227 I said, you're not getting a billion. I'm going to be leaving here.

Speaker 178 And I think it was, what, six hours? I looked at leaving in six hours.

Speaker 227 If the prosecutor's not fired, you're not getting the money. Oh, son of a

Speaker 95 got fired.

Speaker 227 And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.

Speaker 78 Wow.

Speaker 216 That sounds like a quid pro quo.

Speaker 110 That sounds like corruption.

Speaker 109 And then the prosecutor who was fired was allegedly investigating the company that had Hunter Biden on, and Hunter Biden, who had it, you know, sitting on their board, getting 50,000 plus a month,

Speaker 105 or 50 to 80,000 plus a month.

Speaker 110 We have to talk about Hunter this hour as well.

Speaker 94 And then Hunter goes over to China, wherever he gets off, you know, the Air Force 2 with the vice president, he gets paid, paid, paid.

Speaker 21 Democrats don't want to talk about that. Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 31 The media doesn't want to cover that.

Speaker 163 Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 87 Instead, we're talking about impeaching a duly elected president over

Speaker 120 a phone call.

Speaker 207 The Judiciary Committee, they're coming coming up next week.

Speaker 84 They're going to permit the president and his attorneys to attend these hearings.

Speaker 11 And Chairman Natler, you know, he loves authority. He loves that gavel.

Speaker 33 He's going to be just tapping down that gavel for the cameras.

Speaker 75 And you know what?

Speaker 196 No, Natler's committee is full of leaks.

Speaker 122 It's remarkable leaking going on.

Speaker 111 So we're going to know everything that

Speaker 92 these people are testifying about, and we're going to learn more.

Speaker 25 You can expect more bombshells.

Speaker 110 That was a bombshell.

Speaker 25 This is a bombshell.

Speaker 16 The walls are closing in.

Speaker 21 There's going to be more of that stuff.

Speaker 92 And there's going to be a great amount of comedy this go around.

Speaker 73 See, we missed comedy with

Speaker 108 Schiff.

Speaker 172 But with Nadler, we're going to get a lot of comedy.

Speaker 154 Why?

Speaker 105 Because, my friends, Sheila Jackson Lee is on that committee.

Speaker 138 Sheila Jackson Lee, you know, the recently freed slave, Sheila Jackson Lee.

Speaker 130 She said that on the house of the flag.

Speaker 147 I didn't say that.

Speaker 21 I do believe that Hank Johnson is also on that committee.

Speaker 153 He,

Speaker 68 we can't put too much military equipment on one side of Guam because the island may capsize.

Speaker 74 Mr. Speaker, you know, it's just

Speaker 15 imagine a world without balloons.

Speaker 104 That's a, that's a...

Speaker 21 Hank Johnson talking about helium balloons.

Speaker 163 They're up next.

Speaker 11 And the timing of this whole thing, they invited the president, they expect from the president look for the media to say oh you know what uh uh the president why won't he show up because i don't think the president's going to be there i don't think so why because you know what they already have a nato prescheduled gathering it was already they've been planning this for months you got heads of state you got various ministers they're all going to be there And meetings like this take a lot of time to arrange.

Speaker 6 So, you know, it's been in the planning for months.

Speaker 106 You got security measures alone.

Speaker 72 It takes coordination.

Speaker 119 Every step is pre-planned.

Speaker 150 Where are they going to meet? They're going to meet in London.

Speaker 97 When are they going to meet? Wait for it.

Speaker 25 Wait for it

Speaker 129 next week.

Speaker 97 During the impeachment hearing.

Speaker 168 Oh, well, the president's not going to show.

Speaker 216 Well, no, he's not going to show.

Speaker 17 Why?

Speaker 14 Because he's going to be doing his job.

Speaker 76 He's going to be squeezing member nations to anti-up for their fair share.

Speaker 22 He's going to be negotiating shared military burdens.

Speaker 11 You know, the business of running the country.

Speaker 100 And I wager that Natler feels very, very clever.

Speaker 110 Very clever.

Speaker 105 No doubt he feels that he's pulled off a huge stunt and maybe he has.

Speaker 136 But the media is helping.

Speaker 85 They're going to help cover it.

Speaker 84 I don't know if the media is going to London.

Speaker 94 What do you think?

Speaker 114 Do you think the media is going to go to London and cover this?

Speaker 132 Or do you think they're going to be creating drama and inciting further division with the impeachment trials?

Speaker 21 For the most part, the public will be told that President Trump was invited and didn't show and most people will never know why

Speaker 167 because they get their news from fakery.

Speaker 154 As far as the IG report coming out, there's been a whole bunch of leaks on that as well.

Speaker 122 Just remember this the IG reports they're just calling balls and strikes like Comey was supposed to do When Comey came out and said oh, you know what Hillary's done everything wrong, but we're not going to charge her We're not gonna prosecute her because we can't prove intent remember that that wasn't his call that was supposed to be Loretta Lynch

Speaker 156 The IG is going to come out and call balls and strikes, but it's going to be the Attorney General William Barr

Speaker 106 the criminal investigations.

Speaker 108 That's what I want you to look for.

Speaker 71 And if this were a chess game, I would make the observation that a number of pawns have fallen.

Speaker 216 Andrew McCabe, Peter Ibe, stroke and stroke, his paramour, Lisa Page, or Page, yes.

Speaker 18 Even James Comey, Clapper, and Brennan, they're all under a cloud.

Speaker 83 Again, read the plot against the president by Lee Smith.

Speaker 19 Watch Glenn Beck's The Democrats Hydra.

Speaker 156 We're getting close to watching some valuable pieces fall.

Speaker 118 High, how high up is this gonna go?

Speaker 35 How high up will this go?

Speaker 74 I don't know, but get your popcorn

Speaker 127 because I think that President Trump has known for a long time, and I think that Attorney General Barr is the real deal.

Speaker 153 And I think that this president he'll probably get impeached, but he will be the first president to get impeached and then win re-election by a landslide.

Speaker 122 That's That's my prediction.

Speaker 152 You got to talk about Hunter Biden.

Speaker 91 If Hunter Biden,

Speaker 5 if this was one of President Trump's son and they were acting like this, the media will be all over this and they would ding the president's chances.

Speaker 152 I am convinced of that. You don't know a lot of stuff that's going on.

Speaker 115 I'm going to tell you.

Speaker 92 Telephone number is 888-727-BECK.

Speaker 131 My name is James T. Harrison again for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 29 It's Black Friday.

Speaker 109 My name is James T.

Speaker 133 Harris, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 84 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 160 You know, I, when it comes to 2020 politics, I just, I'm just loving this.

Speaker 31 I know that makes me very strange.

Speaker 87 I'm one of these people that just enjoy the fray.

Speaker 107 And I enjoyed 2016 when we had all of the Republicans up on the stage.

Speaker 104 And I was initially uncomfortable as the president or now president, President Trump.

Speaker 69 Back then, businessman Trump was just slicing through all of these Republicans.

Speaker 6 But good night, he changed the game.

Speaker 122 I remember the Democrats teasing us.

Speaker 166 We had all of these Republicans up there all competing against each other.

Speaker 139 And everybody knew that

Speaker 163 it was rigged for Hillary.

Speaker 25 Now the tables have turned.

Speaker 21 And we have, like, I don't know, 20, 20-something Democrats.

Speaker 114 We got more coming in every day.

Speaker 19 Not a whole lot of leaving, but more coming in every single day.

Speaker 156 And I initially thought that a senator Warren, we call her Senator Spreading Bull, in the conservative circus because of all of the lies, the whoppers, the lies that she tells, her high cheekbones, you know, getting fired because she's pregnant, lie after lie after lie.

Speaker 174 I thought she was going to win the primaries, but she killed herself with health care.

Speaker 121 I mean, she absolutely just fell on her sword.

Speaker 105 I don't think she's coming back.

Speaker 80 She's plummeting in the polls.

Speaker 69 Joe Biden, surprisingly, he is still beating everyone.

Speaker 153 Everyone and he shouldn't be.

Speaker 197 This to me shows the desperation of the media.

Speaker 109 They're trying to find somebody that can be President Trump, somebody moderate.

Speaker 72 They don't want to give the party over to the radical left.

Speaker 4 They understand that there's no way a socialist, well man, we may talk that talk, but now they're taking us serious.

Speaker 16 Oh no!

Speaker 70 So they can't, they got to pull this away from Bernie.

Speaker 21 They're happy that

Speaker 107 Senator Spreading Bull Warren, they're happy that she inviscerated herself.

Speaker 168 But Joe Biden.

Speaker 97 You know what?

Speaker 160 If Joe Biden were Donald Trump and if Donald Trump Jr.

Speaker 95 were Hunter,

Speaker 168 the whole Trump campaign would be done.

Speaker 101 It'd be gone.

Speaker 163 Did you hear about the latest with

Speaker 163 Hunter Biden?

Speaker 21 No, I'm not talking about the $50,000 and the millions of dollars he picked up in China for just basically doing nothing because of his dad's last name.

Speaker 146 I'm talking about the fact that Joe, I'm sorry, Hunter Biden's baby mama, the one in Arkansas, she was a stripper in clubs in Washington, D.C.

Speaker 209 What? Yeah.

Speaker 74 And there's reports out there that Hunter Biden, you know, he divorced his wife, and then he was, I think he was married or hanging out with his deceased brother's wife, that would be his sister-in-law.

Speaker 70 And then while he was with her, you see, he started, you know, messing around with the girl from Arkansas who was a stripper over in Washington, D.C.

Speaker 87 And then he got her pregnant, and then they went on the Maury Pulver show and then they said, it's your child.

Speaker 35 The child is yours.

Speaker 95 It's terrible.

Speaker 114 You had a reporter from Fox ask Joe Biden about that.

Speaker 94 He said, this is personal.

Speaker 6 Yeah, and only you would answer.

Speaker 168 Only you would ask a question like that.

Speaker 78 What?

Speaker 87 It's the media.

Speaker 21 Oh, but see, that's very telling, isn't it?

Speaker 132 Because if this were

Speaker 69 one of the Trump kids, this would be all over the news, and and the media would be holding the father responsible for the

Speaker 163 sins of the son.

Speaker 101 They would.

Speaker 20 And you know this.

Speaker 6 And yet the media is turning a blind eye.

Speaker 122 Now, not the foreign press.

Speaker 174 Oh, the foreign press is all over this.

Speaker 160 They like that salacious stuff.

Speaker 9 And it is a salacious story.

Speaker 77 So in a sane world,

Speaker 105 Hunter Biden would be seen as a security risk with the businesses that he's dealing with and

Speaker 105 his lifestyle with the oh, I forgot to tell you that he was suspected that he was doing crack, crack cocaine in these, in these in these strip clubs.

Speaker 28 I'm not making this up.

Speaker 139 You know, he got kicked out of the military for using drugs.

Speaker 2 I think cocaine.

Speaker 22 He used it twice.

Speaker 28 Most people get kicked out if they catch it once.

Speaker 162 He did it twice.

Speaker 14 You know, is that white privilege?

Speaker 85 Is that white privilege?

Speaker 51 No, a little bit, maybe.

Speaker 5 That's our last name.

Speaker 141 That's Biden.

Speaker 101 But, but, but, but, but.

Speaker 6 You got to keep our eye on Joe Biden because I really do believe that

Speaker 154 Hunter's antics are going to blow up Joe's campaign.

Speaker 110 It's not going to come from the mainstream media, but it's going to come from Democrats who are just repulsed by all of this.

Speaker 135 Like I said.

Speaker 143 In the earlier segment, you had a lot of Democrats who left the party, who walked away, who blexited

Speaker 128 from the Democrats during the impeachment of Bill Clinton.

Speaker 6 It's happening again right now.

Speaker 30 Let's talk about Mayor Pete Bootygig.

Speaker 9 That's what I call him Booty Gig.

Speaker 159 I know it's Booty Judge.

Speaker 2 Oh, it was whatever.

Speaker 21 You know, when he first came on the scene, people were just making up stuff.

Speaker 87 They didn't go with the obvious.

Speaker 210 Booty gig.

Speaker 69 Mayor Pete Bootygig, in my opinion, is everything that is wrong with a Democrat candidate.

Speaker 128 He has convictions, right?

Speaker 99 And some of them are pretty good.

Speaker 20 But you have to abandon that when you become a liberal candidate.

Speaker 118 You just do.

Speaker 128 And there's historical precedence for this.

Speaker 216 You know, there's history.

Speaker 170 Did you know that Jesse Jackson used to be pro-life?

Speaker 36 yes he was he was pro-life as a matter of fact it was jesse jackson that said that abortion is the black holocaust

Speaker 38 look it up well what happened

Speaker 6 what happened he decided to run for president 1988 i do believe he no longer talked about that anymore Yeah, 1988, that was a while ago.

Speaker 70 I remember that because I was, it was the first time I was ever on TV.

Speaker 69 I I was at the Jesse Jackson rally just because it was in the union at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Speaker 1 And I just happened to be going to class, so I stopped there to look at it.

Speaker 7 Oh, there's Jesse Jackson.

Speaker 104 And then when I turned around, there was a camera right in my face, the bright lights, and the reporter had

Speaker 137 the

Speaker 131 microphone, and he stuck it

Speaker 128 in my face.

Speaker 22 And he said, What do you think about Jesse Jackson running?

Speaker 121 What do you think about this happening on Black History Day or month?

Speaker 168 I said, Well, you know,

Speaker 110 we've come a long way since Martin.

Speaker 136 I didn't say Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I said Martin.

Speaker 80 Since Martin

Speaker 96 did this and that, we come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.

Speaker 169 I was so happy.

Speaker 114 I went home and I recorded it, you know, with the V.

Speaker 136 Remember you put the cassette in there?

Speaker 6 Yeah, VH, right.

Speaker 136 I put that in there and recorded it. And then my dad came home and I showed it to him.

Speaker 168 I said, Dad, look, I'm on TV.

Speaker 105 And he sat down.

Speaker 94 He listened to what I had to say.

Speaker 9 I said, what do you think, Dad?

Speaker 155 He said, well, son, you look good, but you didn't say anything.

Speaker 78 And

Speaker 5 when did you ever meet

Speaker 36 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Speaker 130 and become good friends where you could just call this great man Martin?

Speaker 206 That was a fail.

Speaker 79 That

Speaker 206 was a fail.

Speaker 207 But I remember back in that day, Jesse Jackson coming to the church.

Speaker 1 I remember Bob Dole coming to the church. I grew up in a Democrat household.

Speaker 168 Booty gig,

Speaker 160 Mayor Booty Gig, he said something back in 2011 that was pretty much on point.

Speaker 230 You know, the kids need to see evidence that education is going to work for them, right? So you see a lot of parts of that. That's part of the motivation.
Yeah.

Speaker 230 Because you're motivated because you believe that at the end of your educational process, there's a reward, there's a stable life, there's a job.

Speaker 230 And there are a lot of kids, especially the lower-income minority lower ones, who literally just haven't seen it work. There isn't somebody they know personally

Speaker 230 who testifies to the value of education. So, yeah.

Speaker 92 That's Mayor Pete back in 2011 basically saying, you know what, Democrat-run schools and Democrat-run cities kind of suck, really bad.

Speaker 36 And you don't have kids who can really pay attention to what's going on.

Speaker 131 They don't see have any role models.

Speaker 5 It is a roundabout way of saying, you know what, the parents are not involved.

Speaker 107 Where are the success stories in low-income areas, i.e., black?

Speaker 151 Well,

Speaker 147 now

Speaker 73 Mayor Budigig Buddygig wants to be president, so he has to walk that completely back.

Speaker 230 What I said in that comment before I became mayor does not reflect the totality of my understanding then and certainly now about the obstacles that students of color face in our system today.

Speaker 141 Really?

Speaker 34 Well, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 21 I'll tell you what.

Speaker 105 My friend Candace Owens, she took this thing on.

Speaker 21 We're going to address Buddy Gigg's concerns here and get to the truth of it.

Speaker 102 And I'm going to tell you how Democrat candidates should act.

Speaker 107 That is coming up next.

Speaker 22 This is Black Friday.

Speaker 19 My name is James T.

Speaker 109 Harris.

Speaker 22 Sitting in for Glenn Beck. This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 39 You're listening to Glenn Beck.

Speaker 175 The Black Friday Super Sale is on at cbdistillery.com.

Speaker 177 And with over a quarter million customers, CB Distillery is the source to trust.

Speaker 193 Go to cbdistillery.com and enter shop to save 30%.

Speaker 178 Again, enter shop to save 30% at cbdistillery.com.

Speaker 195 Cbdistillery.com.

Speaker 133 It's Black Friday. James C.

Speaker 21 Harris sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 94 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 200 We're talking about Mayor Pete Buddhik.

Speaker 127 I know it's Buddha Judge or whatever they say, but I said Buddha Gig.

Speaker 84 We're talking about him because he's trying to make a play

Speaker 109 for the nomination.

Speaker 36 And you know what?

Speaker 88 He should because you have Elizabeth Warring falling apart.

Speaker 31 I think you have Bernie Sanders.

Speaker 69 He's faded.

Speaker 88 I don't think that

Speaker 29 Joe Biden can last too much baggage.

Speaker 161 But he's going about this the wrong way.

Speaker 133 He spoke truth in 2011 when he talked about some of the problems that are existing for low-income kids, but he got caught on the carpet by the liberal gatekeepers.

Speaker 106 You can't say those type of things and run for office as a Democrat.

Speaker 118 When you run as a Democrat, you have to let go of a lot of your principles, a lot of your morals.

Speaker 69 I just pointed out Jesse Jackson, who once was pro-life.

Speaker 132 Then he ran for president as a Democrat.

Speaker 156 Democrats, they're not going to put up with that.

Speaker 22 So, Booty Gig stepped in it.

Speaker 168 When he backtracked on that, he basically apologized to the black community.

Speaker 104 He's evolved since then.

Speaker 22 He didn't know what he was talking about in 2011.

Speaker 144 And that really upset a friend of mine by the name of Candace Owens.

Speaker 231 Well, he's walking back because he's weak, and this is why people prefer Trump, because Trump would not walk back on telling the truth.

Speaker 231 When you break down the family union, which has been done strategically by the Democrats since the 1960s, the children run to the street.

Speaker 231 When the children run to the street, their idols become cultural icons. People don't know who you are in black America, but I bet you they all know who Jay-Z and T.I.
and all these rappers are.

Speaker 231 We have a cultural problem in Black America, and we need leaders that have the spine to be able to admit that if we're ever going to get better.

Speaker 38 Dang.

Speaker 78 Ooh!

Speaker 112 Wow.

Speaker 107 You know, George Gilder said something similar on the Oprah Winfrey Show back in the day.

Speaker 133 George Gilder was also, I believe, the first person ever to be kicked off of the Oprah Winfrey Show for saying that.

Speaker 19 He said you can either let men rule in the household and be the head of the family and raise the boys and raise their girls to be respectful, Or you can lock your doors and watch the young men run wild in the streets.

Speaker 166 Oprah didn't like that.

Speaker 155 She didn't like that. George Gilder.

Speaker 204 Now

Speaker 223 you have this Candace Owens, who is a firebrand.

Speaker 200 I got a hold of her when she first came out, pulled her in.

Speaker 201 I was sort of like Morpheus.

Speaker 155 She is Neo.

Speaker 168 Little Matrix lingo.

Speaker 87 But she soon just eclipsed everything I was doing.

Speaker 162 And now she is just running free.

Speaker 71 She's the head of the leader of the Blexit movement, the Black Exodus of the Democrat Party.

Speaker 89 Amen.

Speaker 158 And boom, shakalaka.

Speaker 222 Walk away.

Speaker 168 Run away.

Speaker 167 And she's calling this Democrat out because he once spoke some half-truth and now he's retreating from it.

Speaker 118 And you also have Mayor Buddhigig, who's trying to go to the black church.

Speaker 146 See, he doesn't understand.

Speaker 104 You had Congressman Clyburn,

Speaker 137 who is a, I'm related by marriage.

Speaker 94 I had to put that out there as a disclaimer.

Speaker 207 He came out and said, you know what?

Speaker 160 Yeah, it's true.

Speaker 200 Most Americans of African descent who are the older generation are not going to go for Mayor Pete because of his sexual sexuality.

Speaker 125 Not going to do it.

Speaker 122 Can't make me not going to do it.

Speaker 25 Not going to do it.

Speaker 14 So you have Mayor Pete going to these churches trying to convince these people.

Speaker 122 That's old school man.

Speaker 116 And most of the younger generation of Americans of African descent don't go to church.

Speaker 121 They're making a mistake.

Speaker 121 He'd be much better off if he were just authentic.

Speaker 174 Ladies and gentlemen, this is my first time sitting in for a nationally syndicated show.

Speaker 95 And I have a caller.

Speaker 122 And it's a shame that my first call, David in Florida, wants to take the ringmaster to the woodshed.

Speaker 97 David in Florida, welcome to the Glenn Beck Show.

Speaker 232 Hi, thank you very much.

Speaker 135 What's on your mind, David?

Speaker 124 Yes, I am.

Speaker 121 I heard you were upset with something that I said.

Speaker 232 Well, that's not exactly the way I said it. But first, I want to say I respect you for taking the call, knowing that I'm opposed to almost everything you said.

Speaker 37 But

Speaker 232 I'm interested in an intelligent discussion. And

Speaker 232 let me get to it because there are like... We're not going to have time.
I wish I could sit with you for an hour. I've got about 10 things you've said in the last half hour that I've...

Speaker 150 I got one minute, David.

Speaker 30 I got one minute in conversation with

Speaker 232 so go baby go all right all right real real quickly first of all you say that the Pelosi and the Democrats have done nothing they're spending all their time on investigations well this is a fact not an opinion you can google it you can go to the

Speaker 232 public record 275 laws have been passed by the democrats since January so it's not that they're not doing anything they're doing a lot the bills are sitting on the Connell's desk that's That's one.

Speaker 232 The other thing you said, one of the other things, was that the Democrats since day one wanted to get Trump out of office.

Speaker 232 You folks forget very easily the day Obama was inaugurated, McConnell asked what he was planning on doing, and he said, my top priority is to make sure that this man is a one-term president.

Speaker 79 Well, yeah, absolutely. You tried to block his stuff.

Speaker 29 James T sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 205 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 21 This is the Glenn Beck program, and I am just having a fantastic time here.

Speaker 31 First time sitting in on a nationally syndicated talk show.

Speaker 5 Having a great time, but I had a call.

Speaker 34 I had a call.

Speaker 79 My first call.

Speaker 121 took me to the woodshed.

Speaker 167 You know, I feel like the bell saved me there.

Speaker 204 It's like Rocky and Apollo Creed.

Speaker 87 I was, this is the Rocky one.

Speaker 198 I just happened to get up before he did because the bell knocked him out.

Speaker 97 He was saying I got it all wrong.

Speaker 15 He was saying, you know, from he'd been waiting for hours.

Speaker 31 Everything I said was wrong.

Speaker 123 Well, here's the deal. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 21 Congress did get a lot of things passed, but I guess I should have said they didn't get the president's agenda passed.

Speaker 19 McConnell did not vow to impeach President Obama just to make life difficult for him.

Speaker 171 And why shouldn't he?

Speaker 205 That's the way politics works.

Speaker 160 You allow Obama his term and try to defeat him the next time around.

Speaker 97 The Republicans didn't go for impeachment even when Obama went over their heads with executive orders.

Speaker 18 They just didn't.

Speaker 71 Obama pretended Congress didn't exist.

Speaker 21 And Congress didn't object because it was Obama, the first black president.

Speaker 112 Who's going to try?

Speaker 25 Do you remember that whole thing? Do you remember people were afraid to disagree with President Obama because they didn't want to be called

Speaker 25 racist?

Speaker 75 And of course, you know that the media was absolutely 100 sold out for Obama, even though he was spying on them.

Speaker 84 And most of the bills passed by the House are junk legislation.

Speaker 145 Let's just be real.

Speaker 96 Open borders, climate.

Speaker 122 I know David in Florida.

Speaker 17 We wanted a back and forth, but we can do that on Twitter.

Speaker 84 You can follow me on Twitter at James T.

Speaker 168 Harris.

Speaker 17 Or we can do that on Facebook.

Speaker 87 You can follow me there at James T.

Speaker 77 Harris Media.

Speaker 82 Let's talk about college students.

Speaker 32 You know what?

Speaker 226 Let's not.

Speaker 156 I was a high school teacher for 10 years.

Speaker 87 And I was openly conservative, although I did not try to indoctrinate my children.

Speaker 170 my partner uh who's also a history teacher was a a lefty I would even say she was a she's communist and we balanced each other beautifully she had a mock legislation this is in brown deer Wisconsin circa the 1990s

Speaker 127 and that thing was so real I was the Republican coach she was the Democrat coach that was so real that we had Congressman Barrett he's now the mayor of Milwaukee at the time read that thing into the congressional record it was outstanding

Speaker 157 and my students all the the time, especially my more liberal students,

Speaker 30 they were getting angry with the social issues of the day.

Speaker 96 This is before global warming, even though global warming was around.

Speaker 80 This is before socialism was really hip, but they were kind of like wanting to redistribute wealth.

Speaker 20 They said that, you know what, people should give up more of their money

Speaker 85 in order to have poor people get off the streets.

Speaker 94 Some of my students even empathized with the poor and they went and lived with them in the middle of the the inner city on sewer grades and stuff like that in wintertime.

Speaker 116 They came back and shared their experiences.

Speaker 105 I said, that was crazy.

Speaker 204 You know, I understand.

Speaker 126 You walk in another man's shoes, but, you know, it's crazy.

Speaker 223 They kept pushing this.

Speaker 21 They kept pushing this. I said, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 96 I'll tell you what.

Speaker 69 We're going to introduce, I'm going to introduce to you a grade tax.

Speaker 94 Because there are a lot of people in this class who are suffering.

Speaker 172 They're poor in grades.

Speaker 21 You got some kids that are flunky. You got some kids that are D-minuses.
Some kids that try to put the head down on the desk.

Speaker 168 I was famous for hitting them in the head with tennis balls if they went to sleep in my classroom.

Speaker 105 I'd be arrested for that today.

Speaker 105 But I say, if you are an A student and I'm going to take your A and I'm going to knock it down to a B and I'm going to give that to somebody who's getting an F so now they're getting a D.

Speaker 21 If you are a B student, I'm going to knock you down to a C, I'm going to give it to a D student, and then they're going to end up getting a C.

Speaker 84 And I did it for real.

Speaker 94 I did that.

Speaker 155 I did that.

Speaker 94 It lasted for two days.

Speaker 116 One day longer out of my pride, because I got called down to the principal's office.

Speaker 168 Parents were livid.

Speaker 95 Parents were livid.

Speaker 35 Students were, girls were crying.

Speaker 206 But I work hard.

Speaker 34 Why does he get my grade?

Speaker 24 And I work so hard.

Speaker 35 I'm like, hey, it's grade tax.

Speaker 209 He's poor.

Speaker 111 Look at him.

Speaker 122 He's sleeping. He's drooling.

Speaker 25 You need to share your grade with him.

Speaker 120 To lift.

Speaker 95 all the boats in the class.

Speaker 121 Oh, that got rejected quick.

Speaker 157 I haven't been in the classroom in over 20 years and I still hear from former students about the great tax

Speaker 207 we tie it in

Speaker 10 Thanksgiving

Speaker 146 Thanksgiving

Speaker 25 we have moved so far down the road Thanksgiving you know Christmas remember when we used to say where put the Christ back into Christmas is about Jesus It's about the birth of the baby Jesus not Not the grown man Jesus, the baby Jesus.

Speaker 116 Now it's about Santa Claus.

Speaker 136 As a matter of fact, we don't even Thanksgiving.

Speaker 21 Right after Halloween, they start putting out the Christmas stuff, but not about the baby Jesus, it's about the Santa Claus because they want you to buy gifts.

Speaker 8 We skip over, I think, arguably, one of the most important, most significant holidays in our history.

Speaker 79 Thanksgiving.

Speaker 14 We don't teach what it's about anymore.

Speaker 17 As a matter of fact, the College Fix,

Speaker 23 which is a fantastic outlet,

Speaker 169 they went and they asked students on campus what they thought about Thanksgiving.

Speaker 104 And

Speaker 76 I want you to brace yourself if you haven't heard this because it is absolutely

Speaker 207 crazy.

Speaker 238 So you think Christmas and Easter are worse than Thanksgiving?

Speaker 141 Yeah, well, I think that Thanksgiving has been misconstrued a lot,

Speaker 239 especially in textbooks. And it's kind of just based off of the genocide of Indigenous people.

Speaker 141 And I don't really think that we actually give thanks on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 239 We just eat a bunch of food and it's just a bunch of capitalist bs.

Speaker 240 We're here today at McAllister College, a small Christian private school in Minnesota, asking students if it's okay to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Speaker 217 Leaning towards no, I feel like with, you know, the historical context and historical, you know, kind of the really awful oppression of, you know, Indigenous people.

Speaker 217 Like, the holiday is really praised by, I think, people more on the conservative side of things to uphold that sort of tradition.

Speaker 95 Oh,

Speaker 95 so much there.

Speaker 223 And the Indigenous people.

Speaker 105 Yeah, it's only celebrated by people on the conservative side of the aisle.

Speaker 161 Actually, you know what?

Speaker 67 This young man may be on to something because the conservatives, more so than the liberals, know their history.

Speaker 164 They know the history of Thanksgiving.

Speaker 87 But if you thought that

Speaker 28 that Thanksgiving was not under attack, I am telling you right here and right now, we got a generation of kids that want to get rid of the holiday.

Speaker 241 The original, like, the celebrating a feast really isn't because of the

Speaker 238 notions

Speaker 95 of

Speaker 241 what the actual holiday was.

Speaker 16 Well, I mean, the entire thing is sort of based off of Indigenous peoples and the murder of Indigenous peoples in history.

Speaker 51 The murder?

Speaker 141 Not really, but what do Americans do except for celebrate unethical holidays?

Speaker 95 What other holidays are unethical?

Speaker 60 Columbus Day.

Speaker 60 I mean,

Speaker 242 Christmas break, it should be labeled as like winter break in general, but most schools are celebrating as Christmas break.

Speaker 141 Sure.

Speaker 54 Do you celebrate these holidays?

Speaker 60 Uh, more or less.

Speaker 25 Hypocrite!

Speaker 147 Ew. And moral holiday.

Speaker 138 I guess if Santa Claus was part of the alphabet, people, if he were an LGBTQ or something like that, it would be okay.

Speaker 94 Then it would be, you know,

Speaker 94 right.

Speaker 77 But no, these, these students, they're serious.

Speaker 93 The assault on Thanksgiving holiday is only a part of the wider war on traditional American values.

Speaker 139 You can hear it in these students' voice.

Speaker 238 Is it okay to celebrate Thanksgiving?

Speaker 38 Um

Speaker 141 no.

Speaker 159 No.

Speaker 234 Yeah, it's probably not as bad as Christmas or Easter, but like, oh, I don't know.

Speaker 238 So you think Christmas and Easter are worse than Thanksgiving?

Speaker 234 Yeah, definitely. They don't celebrate Christmas and Easter.

Speaker 95 Sure. That sucks.

Speaker 201 I'm pretty religious.

Speaker 234 So Anthony, they're just like.

Speaker 238 Why are you at a religious school then? There's a church right over there.

Speaker 186 It's true. That's true.

Speaker 117 It's a good point.

Speaker 238 Is it okay to celebrate Thanksgiving?

Speaker 243 Oh my god, um, that's a good question.

Speaker 243 I think it's okay as long as your values are in the right place. So, the history of the holiday is obviously not the best,

Speaker 243 um, and it's very violent and oppressive. But if you are celebrating like the value of gratefulness and friendship and love and family, then I think that's a different story.

Speaker 199 I tell you what, this is bad.

Speaker 122 This was bad, And we can point to one place.

Speaker 9 Well, actually, two.

Speaker 136 I'll take it back to the parents.

Speaker 155 And I'll also take it back to our education institutions that teach kids this stuff.

Speaker 83 But, you know, you know, Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday to talk about

Speaker 143 the founding of this country and to talk about the miracle of free enterprise.

Speaker 72 And we will do that.

Speaker 69 This is James T.

Speaker 88 Harris on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 7 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 59 Shopping this holiday season, finding the perfect gift from your computer or your tablet or smartphone, that is, that's a breeze.

Speaker 220 Now, here's the problem with it: all of that online shopping, you're left potentially vulnerable to identity theft.

Speaker 218 You may miss identity theft just by monitoring your own credit.

Speaker 221 So, you need somebody to watch it because somebody stealing your information on the dark web or taking an online payday loan in your name is going to dramatically impact your life in the negative.

Speaker 47 That's why there's Life Lock.

Speaker 50 They'll monitor your personal information.

Speaker 220 And if you have a problem with identity theft, they'll work to fix it.

Speaker 51 Now, nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses, but Life Lock offers something that's perfect for the holidays and beyond.

Speaker 220 And now until December 8th, you can join and get a special radio discount.

Speaker 57 Save 30% or more off your first year by using promo code back.

Speaker 126 So call 800Lifelock or go to lifelock.com and use the promo code back.

Speaker 222 That's promo code back for 30% or more.

Speaker 4 You are listening to the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 85 My name is James T. Harris.

Speaker 90 I'm a radio talk show host out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaker 31 I am the ringmaster of the conservative circus, and the big top is News Talk 550K FYI.

Speaker 118 So happy to be sitting in for Glenn Beck today.

Speaker 17 You can follow me on Facebook at James T.

Speaker 67 Harris Media.

Speaker 136 Just look for the very beautiful man in the cowboy hat.

Speaker 137 You can also find me at Twitter, James T.

Speaker 71 Harris.

Speaker 133 We're talking about the war on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 110 It started in the classroom and now is spread out to the popular culture.

Speaker 104 And this season, we had a lot, a lot of television shows that were breaking bad on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 115 Now, this is the time where we're supposed to be thankful.

Speaker 30 This is the time we're supposed to sit down and talk to each other and share what we are thankful for.

Speaker 204 but all over the television you had anti-conservative anti-thanksgiving messages from the simpsons you know they're for famous for their their horror show episodes of halloween now they had the halloween the thanksgiving and the aliens came down dressed like pilgrims because you know it's the pilgrims that destroyed the indians and you know and colonized

Speaker 179 yes

Speaker 14 And you heard it right in these college students, you know,

Speaker 5 in their explanations of why Thanksgiving is bad.

Speaker 69 they were talking about how it's unethical, genocide, racism.

Speaker 80 They've twisted the spirit of Thanksgiving into something unrecognizable, you know what, and pretty gross.

Speaker 71 You've got one TV show where the teacher is bringing over a Thanksgiving gift to the child.

Speaker 197 And listen to what she says to him.

Speaker 209 Miss Homily Prawn Stroller.

Speaker 239 Graham, happy genocide day.

Speaker 217 My teacher in my temporary home.

Speaker 135 Happy

Speaker 159 Genocide Day.

Speaker 9 When I was a teacher, there was a book called

Speaker 94 The People's History, Howard Zinn, The People's History.

Speaker 108 Actually, I read that in college.

Speaker 21 It is an intoxicating book.

Speaker 153 I mean,

Speaker 168 you learn how Columbus came over here, and you learn how Columbus enslaved the Indians in the search of gold.

Speaker 200 You didn't never were told that Columbus's real name is named after Christ Bearer.

Speaker 20 Not that the first people over here didn't do bad things,

Speaker 115 but genocide?

Speaker 120 No.

Speaker 121 Show after show, Fox TV shows, sitcoms, or breaking bad on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 159 The assault is real.

Speaker 154 And what's crazy is is we don't get down to what what we don't teach what Thanksgiving was all about

Speaker 121 now if you're a conservative you know this

Speaker 143 you know the pilgrims came over here you know that they they had a compact well that's actually before they had a compact they were more like a commune

Speaker 20 they were working for the greater good for the community

Speaker 30 Many of the pilgrims lost their lives on the trip over.

Speaker 29 We're talking about gale force winds.

Speaker 160 we're talking about a sailing of the Atlantic in winter.

Speaker 135 Terrible.

Speaker 122 And then the pilgrims, when they got here, they were living in these common ownership communities and it backfired.

Speaker 6 Next year is going to be the 400th anniversary of the landing of the Mayflower and the subsequent founding of the Plymouth colony by English separatists.

Speaker 120 They were known as pilgrims.

Speaker 167 And they, of course, became the mothers and the fathers of our Thanksgiving.

Speaker 194 Thanksgiving.

Speaker 137 Now, when they got here, of course, it was crazy.

Speaker 85 Can you imagine?

Speaker 20 Can you imagine landing on the virgin shores?

Speaker 75 Well, the Indians were here first.

Speaker 210 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 147 And

Speaker 22 Indians, Native Americans, the

Speaker 7 tribes,

Speaker 153 the nations.

Speaker 7 Okay, the nations.

Speaker 30 They were here first. Okay.

Speaker 31 And the nations were also very instrumental in helping those first of pilgrims

Speaker 110 adjust

Speaker 154 and you could read the diary of william bramford he was the the colony's first governor you could read about the settlers initial arrangement land was held in common crops were brought to a common storehouse and distributed equally for two years every person had to work for everyone else in the community

Speaker 86 not for themselves

Speaker 94 They couldn't work as individuals.

Speaker 22 They could not work as families.

Speaker 9 They had to live happily after in a socialist utopia.

Speaker 104 But the problem is the common property approach killed off about half of the settlers.

Speaker 70 And Governor Branford brilliantly in his diary talked about we got to do something different.

Speaker 22 People were complaining because in commonly working, people wouldn't show up.

Speaker 17 They wouldn't do the work.

Speaker 30 Just like some of the students in my class would lay their heads down and drool, but they were happy to get that grade-sharing program.

Speaker 69 Socialism is disincentives.

Speaker 156 Socialism, it bred conflict, contempt.

Speaker 9 So, Bradford changed up, gave out, you know, parcels of land, had the individuals work for themselves, had families work for themselves.

Speaker 29 That was the birth of our free market economy.

Speaker 156 And I think think that one of the things that Americans can do on Thanksgiving is give

Speaker 6 prayerful thanks for private property and the profit motive.

Speaker 168 It produced abundance.

Speaker 149 And the pilgrims shared it with

Speaker 69 their Native Americans, their nation brothers and sisters, and

Speaker 197 they joined together for at least two generations.

Speaker 104 This is the period of time when God instilled a measure of peaceful, productive self-interest into the human mind, and he knew what he was doing.

Speaker 85 And for that, we should be thankful.

Speaker 166 And we should say, Amen.

Speaker 161 But see, you know what, these kids,

Speaker 9 they're not seeing it.

Speaker 197 And we've allowed for our schools to teach the kids lies.

Speaker 6 We've allowed for our schools to indoctrinate children, indoctrinate the culture.

Speaker 204 And now it's all in the popular culture.

Speaker 121 We are on the verge of losing Thanksgiving.

Speaker 101 You heard that one young man, you know, but Christmas and Easter are worse.

Speaker 104 The birth of Christ and the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, that's even a worse holiday.

Speaker 25 We're in bad shape.

Speaker 35 We got to pray because we're in bad shape.

Speaker 77 James T.

Speaker 107 Harris, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 22 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 39 You're listening to Glenn.

Speaker 211 You heard me talk about Mike Lindell. He's the inventor of my pillow and how his pillow has given me the gift of great sleep.

Speaker 169 They're calling it the Kanye effect.

Speaker 67 James T.

Speaker 131 Harris, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 105 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 118 And you know, the Kanye effect.

Speaker 216 I take offense.

Speaker 159 I do.

Speaker 162 I'm talking about this new wave, this surge that is happening among Americans of African descent who are looking at the Republican Party in a different way.

Speaker 129 Not the Republican Party.

Speaker 121 They're looking at President Trump.

Speaker 133 You see, for years, the Republicans were afraid of Americans of African descent, and I can say that because I've been a Republican for pretty much my adult life.

Speaker 36 I didn't become

Speaker 118 attracted to the Republican Party because of their lofty principles.

Speaker 105 The very things that the Jeff Flakes of the world are talking about, those never-Trumpers who are upset because the president is not living up to their

Speaker 151 high,

Speaker 2 high idea of what a president, how a president is supposed to behave.

Speaker 201 No,

Speaker 23 I was attracted to the

Speaker 137 values.

Speaker 69 I had a college student, and when I was in college, I had a student, a roommate, who sat down and he had a chart.

Speaker 156 It's like a blind test.

Speaker 72 You had to check what you agreed with, which side you would agree with.

Speaker 31 And I ended up checking off all the boxes.

Speaker 76 And when he removed the cover from the top that told you, you know, which was the Republican side and what was the Democrat side I gasped

Speaker 160 I'm a Republican then I had to come to terms with that

Speaker 21 and I voted for but first time in my first presidential election I voted to re-elect President Ronald Reagan

Speaker 98 and I grew to love Reagan I started to read books I read the works of Russell Kirk I read The Road to Serfdom by Friedrich Hayek.

Speaker 9 I figured if I'm going to be in this party, I got to understand what these principles are all about.

Speaker 98 And I didn't tell my parents that I voted for a Republican for at least two years.

Speaker 104 My father said, I was born a Democrat.

Speaker 29 I'm going to die a Democrat.

Speaker 105 Now, there's a rumor that my mother, God bless her, that she very possibly voted for Nixon.

Speaker 153 Don't know why that, I feel that.

Speaker 73 There was tension in the house around

Speaker 124 that period of time.

Speaker 145 But my parents lived conservative lives, and they brought us with conservative principles and values, like most Americans of African descent who come from a two-parent family.

Speaker 95 Yes.

Speaker 105 But when it came to

Speaker 29 voting, they voted Democrat.

Speaker 163 Well,

Speaker 163 I broke away.

Speaker 82 I broke away early.

Speaker 168 I walked away, I blexited, I guess, early on before these were even a thing.

Speaker 86 People used to question my conservative principles, my values.

Speaker 29 I told them, you know, I named my daughter Reagan, R-E-A-G-A-N.

Speaker 21 I'm probably going to insist that my first grandchild be named Trump.

Speaker 95 Just plan.

Speaker 35 Just bring me some grandbabies. That's okay.
That's okay.

Speaker 95 That's okay.

Speaker 207 This Kanye effect, though, is real.

Speaker 31 And when Kanye first came on the scene and he was talking about

Speaker 21 President Donald Trump and how he loved President Donald Trump, I was like, oh, this is going to be interesting.

Speaker 94 And then when Kanye West came out and said, he tweeted this actually, I love the way Candace Owens thinks.

Speaker 1 I was like, oh, wow.

Speaker 121 And that just thrusted her into the stratosphere.

Speaker 170 And she was ready for it.

Speaker 168 For those of you who follow Candace Owens, those of you who see her, she goes into the belly of the beast and she eviscerates people with just

Speaker 38 brilliant.

Speaker 89 Her mind, sharp.

Speaker 93 But even with Candace and some of the people who are part of the Blexis movement here, they're new to conservatism.

Speaker 159 What they're drawn to is President Trump.

Speaker 133 And President Trump, surprisingly, to a lot of people, we figured, you know what, he's better than Hillary.

Speaker 35 For the love of Pete, he's better than Hillary.

Speaker 32 Jesus, help us.

Speaker 130 How many of you were praying

Speaker 115 election night 2016?

Speaker 135 I know I was praying, Jesus help us.

Speaker 87 And I stayed on the I was on the air.

Speaker 122 We were on the air about 11 hours.

Speaker 25 11.

Speaker 122 We refused to go off until we heard the mainstream media say president-elect Donald Trump.

Speaker 197 And we rejoiced. And we're still rejoicing.

Speaker 153 And I got to be honest with you.

Speaker 18 I just thought, you know, he was a New York liberal.

Speaker 71 He was just, you know, he was stumbling.

Speaker 11 We would get some of the things we wanted and a lot of what we didn't.

Speaker 51 But we've been wrong.

Speaker 160 I think he's going to go down as one of the most conservative presidents this country has ever seen as far as his policies go.

Speaker 10 But the Kanye effect.

Speaker 146 Kanye has, I don't know, how many million followers on

Speaker 166 Twitter, Facebook, all this kind of stuff.

Speaker 95 Millions.

Speaker 115 And when he started talking about Candace Owen, he started talking about President Trump.

Speaker 127 Those millions of people, some of them got very curious and they started looking into it.

Speaker 105 And then they hear the things that these individuals say.

Speaker 80 When Kanye West is sitting in the president's office, the Oval Office,

Speaker 108 talking about the liberalism, what has liberalism done for the black community over the last 60 years?

Speaker 18 I mean, it's the same things I said when I was on CNN back in 2008 with Don Don Lemon.

Speaker 2 The first time I was on, you know, I got beat up because I was all happy just to be on TV.

Speaker 78 Ooh, everybody watched.

Speaker 9 I had the whole family watching and he just eviscerated me talking about death threats and reading the hate mail and then like, brother, please, brother,

Speaker 133 why are you going to vote for Obama over John McCain?

Speaker 21 I'm like, well, because John McCain is less of a socialist than Obama.

Speaker 164 Come on, brother.

Speaker 159 That's what he said.

Speaker 105 The next time I was invited onto his show, I was ready for it.

Speaker 69 And I'm like, okay, why are you voting for the Democrats, Don Lemnon?

Speaker 154 What have they done when it comes to the abortion rate, when it comes to single parenthood, when it comes to education rate, when it comes to graduation rate, when it comes to

Speaker 157 incarceration?

Speaker 95 What have the Democrats done?

Speaker 19 He went to commercial.

Speaker 114 And then I was off of that show.

Speaker 21 And then I ended up standing up for conservative principles, and I led to the first live walk-off of an interview on CNN. Google it, James C.
Harris, CNN. they'll pop up.

Speaker 135 So I was out there,

Speaker 168 but there wasn't a movement.

Speaker 38 Why?

Speaker 125 Ow, it wasn't time.

Speaker 21 But with this generation, with Kanye West, with the Candace Owens,

Speaker 99 and even my stuff out there on Facebook that was going viral in 2016, you have a whole generation of Americans of African descent who are now ready, who are now

Speaker 164 open.

Speaker 137 Kanye has 29 million followers.

Speaker 99 I'm sorry, followers on Twitter.

Speaker 92 And he also, and his wife probably has even more than that.

Speaker 85 I'm going to get to her in a moment.

Speaker 14 Here's what I'm trying to tell you.

Speaker 94 It doesn't matter how it happens, we need to be ready to embrace the results.

Speaker 154 I've heard Glenn Bett talk about how Kanye West might be,

Speaker 168 you know, God might be using him to usher in the next age of a revival.

Speaker 118 And wouldn't that be funny?

Speaker 116 Kim Kardashian has 62 million.

Speaker 95 She's beating her husband.

Speaker 23 But yeah,

Speaker 11 the next wave.

Speaker 9 Because of course Kanye West has given his life to Jesus.

Speaker 143 And his latest album, Jesus is Lord, is just blowing people away, not just in the music industry, but it is amazing when you have

Speaker 10 news networks, NBC, ABC, CBS covering Kanye and have to mention that Jesus is Lord.

Speaker 130 And Kanye is not shy about saying it.

Speaker 169 He's not shy at all.

Speaker 31 So much so, that show, the Kardashian show, I have never watched one episode of it. I haven't even seen a minute of it.

Speaker 204 I know how popular that it is.

Speaker 207 In a recent episode, you had Kanye asking Kim Kardashian to dress more modestly.

Speaker 38 What, what, what?

Speaker 160 Yes, and it caused a little bit of friction.

Speaker 22 He said, You know, now that I'm a Christian, to see my wife out here dressed so scantily, you know, that it does something to my soul, does something to my spirit.

Speaker 29 She went back at him, like, Look, you created this.

Speaker 87 This is what you wanted.

Speaker 130 He goes, That's back when I was a rap star, but right now, I'm a Christian. I want that

Speaker 122 now. According to

Speaker 96 Kim Kardashian,

Speaker 147 now,

Speaker 201 because of

Speaker 167 her husband and recent trips to the White House, it's had an effect on her, on her Instagram feed, and

Speaker 69 somewhat, she's now dressing

Speaker 135 somewhat more conservatively for her at least.

Speaker 36 She said, I think I have a little bit

Speaker 160 changed a little bit, less sexy these days. I don't know if it's the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill and he's not comfortable with that.

Speaker 163 I listen to him, what?

Speaker 83 And I understand him.

Speaker 35 Still,

Speaker 106 at the end of the day, he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want, but I'm changing.

Speaker 223 Why? Is it because

Speaker 72 he's lording it over her?

Speaker 95 No.

Speaker 168 Actually, they love each other.

Speaker 174 She loves him.

Speaker 10 She wants to honor him.

Speaker 78 What?

Speaker 164 What?

Speaker 31 She said, but

Speaker 128 I kind of had this awakening myself.

Speaker 21 I realized that I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time.

Speaker 90 I definitely don't want to expose them to that.

Speaker 159 Ladies and gentlemen,

Speaker 156 I think what we're watching here is pretty magnificent and that it's coming out of the popular culture.

Speaker 108 Part of it, what we're watching, is Jesus.

Speaker 77 And the other part of what we're watching is a political awakening sparked by these individuals.

Speaker 144 And to that, I say, Amen and boom shakalaka.

Speaker 67 I was out in San Francisco recently, and

Speaker 128 right when I was in Chinatown, and craziness, craziness ensued, and it was inspiring.

Speaker 173 I'm going to tell you about that.

Speaker 161 My name is James T. Harris.

Speaker 83 I am sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 67 James C.

Speaker 138 Harris, sitting in for Glenn Beck.

Speaker 33 This is the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 31 I am in Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaker 19 That's where we operate out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaker 116 News Talk 550 K FYI.

Speaker 21 That's where you can hear the conservative circus Monday through Friday, 4 to 7 p.m.

Speaker 163 AZ time.

Speaker 9 And I have to tell you that we absolutely have fun with conservative issues.

Speaker 106 That's what we do.

Speaker 9 You can follow me at James T.

Speaker 113 Harris at Twitter, James T.

Speaker 105 Harris Media on Facebook or James T.

Speaker 115 Harris Instagram.

Speaker 157 Just look for the beautiful man with the cowboy hat.

Speaker 200 And you'll know that you have found the Conservative Circus.

Speaker 104 I originally from Wisconsin.

Speaker 127 Don't hold that against me.

Speaker 9 Great state.

Speaker 110 I wouldn't be talking about great state.

Speaker 21 And I was born and raised there, and I was a Packer fan against my father's will.

Speaker 105 He moved from Mississippi up to Wisconsin.

Speaker 104 And the one thing he did not like about Wisconsin were Packer fans because they're so loyal, almost rabid.

Speaker 106 And he raised me on the Bears.

Speaker 84 And then when I became an adult, I had to reject that and embrace my true heritage as a cheesehead.

Speaker 142 Even though I'm in Arizona, I still love the Packers.

Speaker 105 My program director happens to be a San Francisco 49er fan.

Speaker 71 So I decided that last week we would go out to a game.

Speaker 9 I wanted to take him out to San Francisco and watch a game together because, you know, he's taught me almost everything I know.

Speaker 105 I just wanted the opportunity to watch his team get humiliated and laugh at him.

Speaker 21 I was in my Packer gear.

Speaker 133 He was in his San Francisco gear.

Speaker 160 And he actually, after the beatdown,

Speaker 115 used the San Francisco 49er napkin to wipe the tears from my face.

Speaker 93 That's how ugly it was.

Speaker 115 But because that game moved from the afternoon to the evening, it was flexed, which made the misery, it made me even more miserable.

Speaker 18 Primetime beat down,

Speaker 160 we had an extra day to burn.

Speaker 69 So we decided to take the train from San Jose

Speaker 115 up to San Francisco.

Speaker 197 Just to see it for ourselves.

Speaker 75 You've heard the stories. You heard about Nancy Pelosi's district.

Speaker 128 You know about what's going on with the homelessness just everything is completely out of control people relieving themselves in the streets well

Speaker 161 we had an opportunity to go up there and we did see that it's sad it's really sad but while we were in in chinatown i met an individual's name was brandon he self-identifies as a dog because he does not like cats.

Speaker 136 He liked my cowboy hat and he wanted to know if it was edible leather.

Speaker 104 And I told him it wasn't. He asked me where I got it from.

Speaker 136 I said I think it came from Southern California.

Speaker 72 He's like, ooh, ooh, LA?

Speaker 169 San Diego?

Speaker 140 That's even worse because of the border wall.

Speaker 29 Then he brought up Trump.

Speaker 9 He said, first of all, you have to give it to Trump because he puts America first. And he turned all of us gay lesbians, tranny vegans against each other.

Speaker 9 See, he identifies as a doggy and he says that the lesbians are the kitty cats.

Speaker 6 And the kitty cats and and the trandies, they all are eating up each other.

Speaker 115 He says something else that's very interesting.

Speaker 9 He said, you have to give President Trump credit because he puts America first.

Speaker 210 Who can be against that?

Speaker 73 Even if he puts up a wall around the whole country and tries to keep others out, he's still saying America first.

Speaker 116 Here's my takeaway.

Speaker 14 Even in San Francisco, In Chinatown, even

Speaker 17 with the people who are just living lifestyles that we don't understand.

Speaker 205 President Trump's America First is coming through. That is a good thing, my friends.
Thank you very much for having me and remember to respect each other.

Speaker 67 James T.

Speaker 140 Harris, sitting in for Glenn Beck.
