Speaker 3 Well, fast forward a little bit, they did some investigation. They found out that one of these planes was President Nicolas Maduro's actual personal plane that he uses to fly all over the place.

Speaker 3 And before we go into this story,

Speaker 3 just to figure out what this conflict is truly all about, Glenn, look at where Nicholas Maduro flew to in this plane. He would fly to China.
He would fly to Iran. He would fly to Russia.

That's what we've been talking about for the last couple of weeks. That's what this, that's what all of this stuff with the boats is all about.

They were there to vote with rifles.

Speaker 2 They came armed with a conviction and hatred. Both sides certain that the other wasn't just wrong, but evil.

Speaker 2 The free staters set up newspapers, printing presses, pro-slavery mobs, the border ruffians.

Speaker 2 They called and said, basically what she was saying, burn it all down. We're coming for you.
The town of Lawrence, Kansas sacked, hotel was leveled, presses were all smashed.

Speaker 2 And then came a guy that you might have heard of lately, John Brown. John Brown, not a good guy.

Speaker 2 I just want to remind you, it's the John Brown, what is it, anarchists

Speaker 2 or a socialist gun club that is going around right now with the left.

The law itself is on the line.

District attorneys refuse to prosecute crimes. you know, that they agree with.

Speaker 2 Street mobs threaten violence, silence dissent. You got this lady, you know.
Self-appointed crusaders believe rage is righteousness.

Speaker 2 You know, and when you hear politicians say any means necessary,

Speaker 2 what does that mean? What does that mean?

Speaker 2 Media figures excusing assassination attempts because they had it coming. He was a bad guy.
Understand what time it is. The storm isn't coming.
The storm has already formed and it's on shore.

Speaker 2 In Kansas, it started with press rooms and ballot boxes. Then came the mobs, then the swords, and the fire.

Speaker 2 The government of the United States at the time, most powerful on earth, powerless to stop it. Why?

Speaker 2 Why couldn't they stop it last time?

Speaker 2 This is the key to understanding.

Speaker 2 They couldn't stop it last time because the people had stopped believing in their government. And they only believed in their side.

And violence becomes understandable.

Speaker 2 We now have protesters who call riots protests. We have this lady saying, it's right and it's coming for you.

Speaker 2 Politicians celebrate chaos when it serves their side, otherwise they're dead set against it. Mobs who actually think they're John Brown and are proud of that.

Speaker 2 They're shooting flames and bullets and swords in the dark.

Speaker 2 Hansen says the left now is bleeding Kansas again, but I'll tell you something else. If we're really honest, it's not only the left.

Speaker 2 He has that same kind of smarmy look on his face where he's just happy and he's like, hey, we're going to fundamentally transform the United States of America. Yeah, he was.

Speaker 2 hope and change is what it was. That was the phrasing of it in that first campaign where he was more i i think he developed into more like i'm a professor type of

Speaker 2 first he was very mom danny yeah the mom danny thing i think is interesting i keep i keep trying to to tie it to a pop culture reference and i haven't been able to exactly nail it but the one i came up with tell me

Speaker 2 tell me if you think this is right he reminds me of the announcer from the hunger games i love it That guy, right? Yeah, yeah. Love it.
He's like, Tog. Yes.
He's very happy, very excited.

Speaker 2 Hey, what about the romance? What's going on there? He's doing that stuff. What he's talking about is a bunch of people murdering each other, right?

Speaker 2 He's talking about people dying, but he's putting this wonderful face on it. You know, he's lots of smiles.

Speaker 2 And it's a different, I don't know if we talked about this yesterday, but it's a different package than

Speaker 2 from, let's say, Bernie Sanders, who's like this old curmudgeon, he's shaking his fist at the cloud type of guy.

Speaker 2 And I would argue also AOC, who AOC is giving the exact same

Speaker 2 pitch as Bernie Sanders, the same stuff, except she's just younger. Like, that's different.
That's not what Mom Dani is doing. Mom Dani is pitching this a totally different way.
It's with a smile.

Speaker 2 Everything's wonderful. It's not all anger about rich people and millionaires and how they shouldn't exist and all that stuff.
That's not what he's doing.

Speaker 2 And that's why 68% of the people in New York City are against some of his policies and yet they'll vote for him. Yeah.
Because they like him. He's likable.
He's likeable.

Speaker 2 I mean, I don't find him likable. I don't know if you don't find him likable.
And many people

Speaker 2 in New York don't find him likable,

Speaker 2 particularly when he's calling for a global intifada. And you might happen to be Jewish.
You might say, this guy doesn't seem all that likable right now as he sides with Hamas.

Speaker 2 But I will say, many do find him likable because he proposes this stuff. Like, I care.
And it's socialism with a smile. And it's completely different.

Speaker 2 You know the other part of it? Do you know that 45%

Speaker 2 of all Americans, 45% can't read beyond a sixth grade level?

Speaker 2 of America cannot read past a sixth grade level. That was worth extending half to.

Speaker 2 10 million New Yorkers don't know where their next meal is coming from. And I'm just like, what does that mean exactly? They don't know where they're going.

Speaker 2 They're on DoorDash just scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. Is that what we're talking about? Because I don't actually believe, I've been to the city,

Speaker 2 you know, there are people,

Speaker 2 there are people in tough circumstances in every city, in every place in our country.

Speaker 2 The long-term hunger statistics do not support the need for a widespread food stamp program like we have. No.

Speaker 2 But that's what we hear all the time is that everyone's struggling.

Speaker 2 I mean, you look at Cloud and Piven. Yeah, I know.
You look at the income statistics.

Speaker 2 It's like, you know, you mentioned sort of a hollowed out middle class, which is at some level sort of true, right? Like some of this has happened.

Speaker 2 But what you see overwhelmingly are people that were in the middle class leaving the middle class and going to the upper middle class.

Speaker 2 Now, there are some people in the lower middle class and lower classes that are, you know, struggling, and that doesn't mean

Speaker 2 they're real problems.

Speaker 2 Those have existed. However, we can't romanticize the past and act as if people people didn't struggle in the 1950s.
Lots of people did for many

Speaker 2 various reasons that were very bad. There's been economic struggles throughout.
There are economic struggles even in periods where we look at immense economic growth, like the 80s, for example.

Speaker 2 There were people who struggled, but you had to try to understand what policies bring the best, the most amount of

Speaker 2 happiness and health and growth to the most amount of people.

Speaker 2 that's how you manage a policy.

Speaker 2 But the policy stuff, I mean, you look at the Zoran stuff, you mentioned a couple of the policies that are unpopular.

I'll try to dumb this down.

Speaker 2 Require cities and towns to allow more multifamily housing and apartment buildings. That is a minus 20.

Speaker 2 Policy. That is, even phrased that way.

Speaker 2 Subsidize electric vehicle purchases. Minus 21.

Speaker 2 Increase taxes by 3% on Americans making more than $75,000, as you know, the rich people making over $75,000 in order to increase spending on healthcare, infrastructure, and education.

Speaker 2 I mean, that's basically the core promise of the Democratic Party. Correct.

Speaker 2 We will increase taxes on people, a lot of people, maybe more than just rich people, and we'll throw it into a bunch of our programs. Correct.
That is a minus 22 policy.

Speaker 2 So far, he's not positive on any policy.

Speaker 2 Abolish the death penalty, minus 22.

Speaker 2 Restore affirmative action in college admissions. Okay, this is a

Speaker 2 staples of the Democratic Party. Minus 26.

Speaker 2 Increase refugee admissions.

Speaker 2 Minus 33.

Speaker 2 Get rid of tracking, I guess, testing in public schools. Minus 39.

Speaker 2 Cut police budgets by 10%.

Speaker 2 Minus 48%.

Speaker 2 And net support.

Speaker 2 Lower the voting age to 16.

Speaker 2 Oh, my gosh. Minus 49%.

Speaker 2 How is this guy doing so well? Because it's not about any of this, not about policy. I mean, Glenn, as I've been saying for a long time, 60% of people can't read at a sixth grade level.

Speaker 2 His idea was we're going to put particles or dust into the stratosphere and it's going to reflect sunlight. And so all the sunlight won't actually hit the planet and so it will cool the planet.

Speaker 2 if that doesn't sound like maybe something that you only do if the whole world is going to die if you don't do it, what is?
