Donald Trump looked terrible this morning.
A very sickly and unwell Donald Trump rushed out of the White House to purportedly attend yet another celebration, the Navy's 250th anniversary celebration.
Oh, Donald Trump sure likes the cameras on him when it comes to celebrations, especially when there's a government shutdown, but he doesn't want the press to ever be there in the White House when the Democratic leaders are there to discuss the real facts facts about this Donald Trump MAGA Republican Jeffrey Epstein shutdown.
So, as Donald Trump was rushing out of the White House today, he was asked some questions by the press on Sunday morning.
And Donald Trump continued to lie.
He attacked the federal judge he appointed back in 2019, the Trump-appointed judge in Oregon, the federal judge who ruled against him and said that his deployment of troops important was patently unconstitutional and was thrusting our country into martial law.
Donald Trump believed that the female judge was a man and said he did not serve me well.
Let me just show you what went down this morning.
Here's Donald Trump leaving the White House, and once again, he repeats the lie that Portland is burning to the ground.
The politicians are afraid for their lives.
That's why they're saying things are not the way Donald Trump is misrepresenting them.
Here, play this clip.
We're going to look at that.
It was amazing.
Portland is burning to the ground.
It's insurrectionists all over the place.
It's Antifa.
And yet, the politicians who are petrified.
Look, the politicians are afraid for their lives.
That's the only reason that they say like there's nothing happening.
And you've seen it.
The place is burning down and they pretend like there's nothing happening.
So we'll take a look at the order.
We haven't seen the order yet.
So then a reporter asked Donald Trump about the Affordable Care Act subsidies because Donald Trump and all of his MAGA minions out there keep on trashing the Affordable Care Act and they keep saying, oh, well, they've got something better and they're going to roll out a plan and just trust us.
We're going to help people.
Look, tens of millions of people.
have Affordable Care Act plans and rely on these subsidies or else they're going to lose their health care very soon or go medically bankrupt.
So this cuts to the core of this issue, of all of these issues surrounding this shutdown.
Not the lies that Donald Trump and MAGA Mike Johnson and J.D.
Vance are trying to blame this on immigrants or transgender people.
It's that Americans are going to die.
So Donald Trump, are you open to extending the Affordable Care Act subsidies?
Because otherwise, just for example, someone whose premiums may be $300 a month, next year it's going to be $2,000 a month.
So how's that person going to be able to pay $2,000 a month health care premiums?
You got a plan, Donald Trump?
Donald Trump's like, we're going to work on a plan.
We're coming up with a plan.
Two more weeks.
We'll come up with our own plan.
No, you're not.
You're just going to continue to torture the American people and focus on rolling out $1 Donald Trump coins.
That's what your focus is on.
Donald Trump coins, golden ballrooms, Club Rose Garden, UFC stadiums at the White House.
That's not what the people want.
The people want affordable groceries.
The people want affordable homes.
The people don't don't want to be psychologically tortured, living paycheck to paycheck.
The people want health care affordable.
Education affordable.
A better future for their family.
That's what they want.
Here, play this clip when he says, we want to fix it so it works.
Obamacare is bad.
All these people know how to do is rip things apart, not build.
They're destroyers.
Here, play this clip.
Are you open to extending the Affordable Care Act subsidies?
We want to fix it so it works.
It's not working.
Obamacare has been a disaster for the people, so we want to have it fixed so it works.
So then a reporter says, well, what about all the layoffs in the federal government?
Because Russ Vogt, Project 2025 author who now is the main director of Office of Management and Budget, Donald, you've been posting videos of yourself and Vogt as the Grim Reaper, AI images of you and Vote as the Grim Reaper, seeming to take a great deal of delight in firing people and firing workers.
So, what do you make of that, Donald?
And he goes, they're the Democrat layoffs.
All this guy knows how to do is try to skirt and avoid accountability for his own fraud.
Why?
He's a lifelong fraud.
He's a lifelong criminal.
He's a lifelong con artist.
He's a lifelong sexual abuser.
This is how these people behave.
Here, play this clip.
What about the layoffs?
You pay it.
Well, they're demo.
I call them Democrat layoffs.
They're Democrat layoffs.
They're causing it.
We're ready to go back.
You know, we have a record-setting economy.
We have a record-setting country.
Prices are way down.
We're doing better than the country has ever done.
And the Democrats hate seeing that.
It's up to them.
Anybody laid off, that's because of the Democrats.
Thank you.
Then, as he's heading into the helicopter to go to the next celebration where he wants to be taped at the taxpayer expense, this is where he attacks the female immigrant, Portland judge, federal judge immigrant, and he says
he did not serve me well.
He should be ashamed of himself.
It's a female judge, just so you know your judges here.
Play this clip.
Well, obviously, I don't know the judge, but if he made that kind of a decision, Portland is burning to the ground.
You have agitators, insurrectionists.
All you have to do is
look at the television, turn on your television, read your newspapers.
It's burning to the ground.
The governor, the mayor, the politicians are petrified for their lives.
And you have a judge like that.
That judge ought to be ashamed of him.
And just so everybody can see what's going down, this is what it looks like in Portland.
There are peaceful protesters, but Donald Trump and ICE, they've sent snipers there, okay, to train weapons on the peaceful protesters.
And then the snipers are also shooting pepper spray and non-lethal rounds at the peaceful protesters in order to try to provoke them.
As I've said in other videos, it's not an exaggeration to say that currently in the United States, there are wars on humanity, wars against humanity right now.
There's chemical warfare taking place by the Trump regime militarized forces against Americans.
Here, play this clip.
Going back to MAGA Mike Johnson here, MAGA Mike Johnson was asked on Face the Nation.
So are you negotiating?
Like, what are you doing?
And MAGA Mike's like, well, it's quiet around here.
It's very unfortunate that we're not doing negotiations.
To which the host, to her credit, said, well, you sent all of the Republicans home.
You sent them all home.
So there's nobody there because you declared a vacation.
But everybody who watches the Midas Touch Network knows when I had Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries on, he specifically said, let's do it in public.
MAGA Mike, J.D.
Vance, Jon Thune, Donald Trump.
What are you afraid about?
Let's go in front of the cameras like I thought we were going to do at the White House, but you said no cameras could be there.
Let's do this in the press and let's talk to the American people about the real issues.
And the MAGA Republicans refuse to do that because all they want to do is lie.
They want government to be utterly destroyed so that Donald Trump can try to implement his fascist agenda.
That's what's happening.
Here, play this clip of MAGA Mike.
House Speaker Speaker Mike Johnson joins us from Capitol Hill.
Good morning to you, Speaker.
Anyone up there to negotiate with?
There's not, Margaret.
Good morning.
Good to hear your voice.
It's kind of quiet around here.
It has been for the last several days, and it's very unfortunate because as we're talking, real people are being adversely affected around the country in some and in very substantial ways.
I pray that more Democrats in the Senate will come to their senses and do the right thing.
And when they have the next opportunity on Monday to vote to open the government, I surely hope that they will.
Well, you did send your lawmakers home to their districts, which suggests we've got probably another week ahead of us of this shutdown.
Going to Senator Thune right here, the leader of the MAGA Republicans in the Senate, this just goes and shows you their entire mentality.
Senator Thune's like, the Democrats' only choice is this.
You either sign on to our budget or else or else.
That's their view.
Sign it or else.
That's not the way American government works.
A fifth grade student who takes American government for the first time knows that American government was about negotiation.
It was about consensus building.
It was about having to make trade-offs occasionally and compromise.
That's what our very system is about, especially when you don't have the votes in the Senate to pass it on your own.
So what do you do?
You're supposed to talk to the other side and negotiate.
Now, what Democrats are fighting for is actually a thing that helps the Republican states.
That's the wild thing about it.
This isn't like the Democrats doing what Republicans did when they threatened to shut down with Biden, where they wanted special things for their red district in particular.
And Biden was like, I'm the president of all Americans.
Happy to help red districts, blue districts, purple districts.
That's why there was no shutdown for former President Biden because he delivered for the red states.
He delivered for what the constituents wanted there.
So then those MAGA Republicans went back home home and took credit for the things that Biden was ultimately doing.
But Biden was like, I'm the president of the United States.
Go take credit for it.
I'm just going to do my job.
Here, the Affordable Care Act subsidies are helping, if anyone, actually people in red states more than blue states, but everyone's either on Medicare, Medicaid, or an Affordable Care Act plan.
So people rely on these subsidies to live.
That's what the discussion is.
So if you have a better plan, a better health care plan, articulate.
I think there's a better health care plan.
I think it's called universal health care.
I, the host of the Midas Touch Network, have asserted my plan.
Universal health care.
It should all be free.
It should all be funded by the government.
That's my view.
You could disagree with it, but I think the Affordable Care Act plan is the next best thing that we have.
The subsidies keep the price down.
If you let them expire, everyone's going to go medically bankrupt.
Trump's been saying he's going to come up with his plan since his first term.
He hasn't.
So show me what your plan is or stop whining, but you have to help the American people.
What's your point of being in government?
And if not, oh, yes, I get it.
It's to help the rich people and the oligarchs.
That's what you want to do.
Anyway, here's Thune.
I digressed.
Let's play it.
Right now.
But there are reasonable Democrats out there who are having conversations with Republicans.
And I'm hopeful those are going to yield some results.
I mean, at the end of the day, all these things that they want to do and that we're talking about, we're happy to have a conversation about, but that can't happen with the government shut down.
So it's, it's, you know, open up the government and or or else.
I mean, I think that's really the choice that's in front of them right now.
Then Donald Trump was whining about how on Fox they had Senator Kelly, a Democrat.
Why is Fox News and Peter Doocy putting on Democrat Mark Kelly to talk about the totally unabated or challenged health care?
The fake spin is so bad for Republicans that it's hard to believe that we win.
It will be very unfair in the future when they don't have Trump to fight for them.
Therefore, we should fix it now.
I'm watching this interview.
It just doesn't end.
Fox should either get on board or get off board now.
But at this point, it just doesn't make any difference to me.
They suck up the ratings because of us and then spin them in the Democrats' direction.
They refuse to put up polls that correctly show me at 65% in popularity, a Republican record.
But if I have a fake bad poll, many of which are done by Fox, one of the worst pollsters is the Fox News poll.
They put them up immediately and with gusto.
Republicans Republicans are so tired of this fight with Fox always trying to be so politically correct.
So he's whining and attacking Fox for accurately showing that his approval's plummeting, that Americans overwhelmingly are siding with Democrats and are blaming Republicans and Donald Trump for the shutdown because they control all levels of government and they're the ones responsible for the shutdown.
That's why they're being blamed.
And Americans are on a health care plan, Donald.
I know you living in your Mar-a-Lago billionaire world don't understand the struggles of what it means to live paycheck to paycheck or to not be able to afford your health care or your groceries.
But Americans are on these plans.
Americans know that it's not an illegal immigrant or a transgender thing because they're on these plans.
Here, play this clip of Senator Kelly.
Let's play it.
Now, the majority leader in the Senate, Jon Thune, talks about, well, we'll have conversations.
We need more than conversations.
We need a real negotiation.
The president met with the four leaders of Congress about a week ago on Monday.
And it didn't even seem, the feedback we got, it didn't even seem that he understood what these premium tax credits were.
So the first step here is the president has to understand what's going on.
And when you look around the country and you see who this affects the most, it's folks in rural areas.
He won rural parts of this country.
in almost every state.
So this affects his voters, and it should never be about that.
I mean, I get that, but I think we both know that, you know, this president pays a close attention to his base.
This is going to impact them significantly.
And you might, you know, and then they use the spin like, here was Magnum Mike Johnson this morning where he was like, you know, Russ vote, he runs the OMB, and he does not relish, he does not enjoy making these cuts and taking away things from the American people or taking away services.
He doesn't relish it here.
Play this clip.
And vote to keep the government open.
He has never been open before.
We see furloughs.
We don't see furloughs.
We don't see layoffs, though.
In a situation like this, where the Senate Democrats have decided to turn the keys to the kingdom over to the White House, they have to make tough decisions.
Russ Vogt runs the Office of Management and Budget.
He has to now look at all of the federal government, recognizing that the funding streams have been turned off and determine what are essential programs,
policies, and personnel.
That's not a job that he relishes.
Oh, he absolutely does relish it.
How do we know that?
Because Senator Mike Lee, well, one, Russ Vote has said he's relished it.
We've shown you tapes before of Russ Vote, by the way, saying we need to inflict the trauma.
on employees.
They need to feel trauma so they quit on their own and that they feel tortured.
That's literally what this sicko said.
Go back, Google, Google.
Did this guy say that he wants to inflict trauma?
It's a quote, a direct quote from these people.
And by the way, so you've seen this clip before.
This is from this past week.
This is Republican Senator Mike Lee saying Russ Vogt, the Project 2025 guy who now runs basically the White House with Donald Trump when it comes to all of these budget cuts.
He's called the Director of Office of Management and Budget.
Russ Vote, Mike Lee, the Republican senator, says Russ Vogt has been waiting for this moment to destroy government since he reached puberty.
Since puberty.
What a creepy thing to say.
Here, play this clip.
But this is what they're doing.
They're doing it deliberately.
It's going to harm them.
Because Russ Vogt, the OMB director, has been dreaming about this moment, preparing this moment since puberty.
Russ Fog has a plan, and that plan is going to succeed in empowering, further empowering Trump.
This is going to be the Democrats' worst night.
All right, so.
And it's of their own making.
And finally, I want to show you this clip right here from this morning.
Let me show you.
I want to show you one more after this.
I want to show you Pritzker.
Here you have
MAGA Mike Johnson, and he's asked also point blank, so can the American people depend on you and Republicans to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies?
Can we depend on you for that?
So if you're saying that the Democrats should just go along and sign this continuing resolution for government funding without you wanting to negotiate at all to extend the subsidies for the people who depend on them, to lower their premiums,
to keep their premiums where they're at, rather.
Can we then rely on you to, will you then say you will agree in the future to to extend the subsidies so that we can get through this?
And MAGA Mike's like, I can commit to what Republicans have always done,
which is destroy people's health care.
That's the issue.
Like to me, this clip I'm about to show you gets to the central issue.
Just agree to extend people's health care.
This is healthcare.
This isn't private jets for billionaires, which you're good with.
This isn't yachts for billionaires, which you're good with.
This isn't 90,000 square foot ballrooms, which you're good with or Trump commemorative coins.
This is Americans just agree to extend their health care.
What's more existential than people staying alive?
But here, play MAG and Mike.
All right.
Well, let me ask you about what's at the crux of this.
Democrats are demanding the funding bill include an extension of the Obamacare tax credits, as we've been talking about.
They're set to expire at the end of the year.
More than three-quarters of the people who get health insurance through Obamacare actually live in states that President Trump won in 2024.
We're talking about some 19 million people, Mr.
Speaker.
Can those people depend on congressional Republicans to extend those health insurance tax credits by the time they expire?
We have plenty of time to figure that out because, again, it doesn't expire until the end of the year.
Do you commit to that?
I commit to what Republicans have always done and what we've already proven this year in the one big beautiful bill, the working families tax cuts.
Republicans are the ones in Congress working to improve health care access, quality, and make it cheaper.
We want to bring the cost down of health care.
Premiums are too high, but it's not because of Republican policies.
It's because Obamacare is not working.
We're trying to fix it.
We've just shown in the one big, beautiful bill, the Working Families Tax Cut, those reforms we made to Medicaid are not cuts to Medicaid.
Medicaid will continue to grow.
It's just growing at a slower pace.
Why?
Because we got illegal aliens and able-bodied young men without dependents off of Medicaid.
They were never planned to be there in the first place.
And what the Democrats are demanding right now to keep the government open is we put them all back on there.
We're not doing that.
Let's just say.
And then finally, here you have J.B.
Pritzker.
This morning, here's what he had to say.
Let's play it.
Join us now to discuss Illinois Governor J.B.
Pritzker.
Governor Pritzker, what's your response to Secretary Noam?
And as a practical matter, since you oppose this troop deployment, is there anything you can do?
Well, good morning, Jake.
And let me just say that the Secretary doesn't know what she's talking about.
She frankly says that people are clapping.
They're not.
They're booing her on the street, and they're booing ICE and CBP.
They're marching, the CBP marching on a beautiful Sunday in
Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago.
They're raiding neighborhoods where instead of going after the bad guys, they're just picking up people who are brown and black and then checking their credentials.
Are you a U.S.
citizen?
I don't know about you, but I don't carry around papers that say I'm a U.S.
citizen.
So you can imagine people are getting detained, they're getting arrested, U.S.
citizens.
And they did this, of course, when they raided a building in the middle of the night in South Shore.
130 people that were emptied out of this building.
They were going after a few gang members.
And instead, they broke windows, they broke down doors, they ransacked the place.
And there were people that were held, I mean, elderly people and children zip-tied.
Elderly people held for three hours at a time.
They are the ones that are making it a war zone.
They need to get out of Chicago.
If they're not going to focus on the worst of the worst, which is what the president said they were going to do, they need to get the heck out.
So let's talk about.
There you have it, folks.
Let me know what you think.
