Day 226: Entrusted to the Spirit
Fr. Mark-Mary invites us to pray, bringing our hearts and intentions to the Holy Spirit, asking to be overshadowed by the same Spirit who came upon Mary at the Annunciation. We entrust our intentions to the Spirit, reminded that nothing is impossible for God. Todayβs focus is the mysteries of the Crucifixion and Resurrection, and we will be praying two decades of the Rosary.

Today we'll be praying with the fifth sorrowful mystery and the first glorious mystery, the crucifixion and the resurrection of our Lord.
And this is going to be episode three of five of praying with particular intentions and bringing them to different persons of the most holy trinity.
So today, we're going to bring our intentions to the Holy Spirit.
And I guess what it'll look like for me, and I offer this as some guidance, is
when we were going through these episodes before, I was bringing myself, my intentions, my own heart.
I kind of brought it to the Holy Spirit, really asking to be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, as Our Lady was at the Annunciation,
where the angel Gabriel said, you'll be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, right?
By the power of God,
and that nothing will be impossible for God.
Nothing will be impossible for God.
And so we have, again, these images of the Holy Spirit is this cloud of a dove, of fire.
And so we bring whatever it is, whatever needs to be healed or whoever needs to be healed, encouraged, strengthened, brought back, convicted.
The spirit of truth of a particular person again needs courage or boldness to experience forgiveness, conversion.
Whatever it is, we bring it to the Holy Spirit this day.
And again, we'll be praying with two different intentions for our different decades.
So now let us pray in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
The fifth sorrowful mystery is the crucifixion.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, and thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
