Day 232: The Wedding Feast at Cana and Proclamation of the Kingdom and Call to Conversion
Fr. Mark-Mary invites us into a prayerful meditation on Jesus’ miracle at the Weeding in Cana and His proclamation of the Kingdom of God. At the wedding, we reflect on Mary’s attentiveness and Jesus’ willingness to act, stepping into His public ministry with generous love. As we hear the call to conversion, we’re reminded that Jesus Himself is the Kingdom made visible, drawing us closer through His words, His presence, and His saving work. Today’s focus is the mysteries of the Wedding Feast at Cana and Proclamation of the Kingdom and Call to Conversion and we will be praying two decades of the Rosary.

Today we'll be praying with the second and the third luminous mysteries, the wedding feast at Canaan, the proclamation of the kingdom, and the the call to conversion.
As we pray with the wedding at Cana,
we see this interplay between Jesus and his mother.
Mary, who is attentive, paying attention,
sees that they're out of wine, and she proactively
brings this to Jesus.
And Jesus.
He says yes to doing this miracle.
And also in this, he says yes to beginning his public ministry these first of his public signs which will ultimately lead him to Calvary
and that Jesus the divine bridegroom saves the best wine for last
as we pray with the proclamation of the kingdom and the call to conversion
we see Jesus being revealed throughout his preaching
throughout his miracles as the kingdom in himself
and that in proclaiming the kingdom and calling us to conversion, he's calling us to himself as he is God being God.
He is the shepherd, shepherding, the teacher, teaching, and the savior, saving.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
