Day 298: The Glorious Mysteries
Fr. Mark-Mary leads us in prayer with four of the Glorious Mysteries. We begin with the Ascension of Jesus, who returns to the Father and invites us to live with eyes fixed on eternity. We then reflect on the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the powerful moment when God’s Spirit is poured out upon the Church. Next, we celebrate the Assumption of Mary, rejoicing that she is taken body and soul into heaven as a sign of the promise that awaits us. Finally, we honor her Coronation as Queen of Heaven and earth, a reminder of her intercession and maternal care for us. Together, these mysteries invite us to live with faith, joy, and confidence in God’s saving plan. Today’s focus is the mysteries of the Ascension, Descent of the Holy Spirit, Assumption, Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth. We will be praying four decades of the Rosary.

Today we will be praying and concluding the glorious mysteries starting with the second glorious mystery.
So we'll pray the second, third, and fourth and fifth glorious mysteries, the ascension, the descent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, the Assumption of Mary, and the coronation of Mary as queen of heaven and earth.
So let us begin in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

The second glorious mystery is the ascension.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
