The Belief Shift That Made Taylor Welch Finally Break Through | #Marketing - Ep. 27

52m
In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I’m sharing Taylor Welch’s unforgettable Funnel Hacking Live presentation… a powerful deep dive into personal growth, belief systems, and what it really takes to unlock power and authority in your life. Taylor doesn’t just talk about success... he breaks down how to reprogram your identity, collapse time, and start operating from a completely different level of mindset and action.

We talk about parenting, business, God, and the decision that led Taylor to give away his $78M company, all while giving you the exact belief and behavior shifts that helped him build (and rebuild) extraordinary businesses and a meaningful life.

This isn’t your typical marketing advice… it’s the kind of internal work that unlocks everything else.

Key Highlights:

Why most funnels don’t convert (and why selling is the real problem)

The difference between force and power in business

The moment Taylor realized his identity was capping his income

The “belief → emotion → action” framework that runs your life

How to stop repeating the same mistakes… and learn the real lesson

Why reframing regret might be the fastest path to momentum

How to jump time and unlock results in months, not years

If you’ve ever felt stuck… like you're circling the same mountain… this episode will challenge the way you think about business, identity, and growth, and show you how to finally get unstuck and move forward with clarity.

Speaker 5 This is the Russell Brunson Show.

Speaker 6 What's up, everybody? This is Russell. Welcome back to the podcast.
And today I wanted to actually, I want to take you guys to Funnel Hacking Live. You cool that?

Speaker 6 Funnel Hacking Live International, which we also nicknamed Funnel Hacking Live 9.5. It's between Funnel Hacking Live 9 and 10.
We basically did a little mini virtual FHL, which is really cool.

Speaker 6 Well, it was a mini, I guess. It was in a virtual studio that held about, I don't know, 300 people in the room.
So all my inner circle members were in the room. And then we streamed it out to...

Speaker 6 to the masses. And so I think we had over 10,000 people that registered for it.
But anyway, one of the presentations was my friend Taylor Welch.

Speaker 6 Taylor is someone who who I have a lot of respect for.

Speaker 6 You've probably seen, you know, I've done another podcast episode with him. We went deep on some cool things.

Speaker 6 But we thought it'd be fun to show you guys his FHL presentation. It was very unique, it was different, and really, really powerful.

Speaker 6 So, with that said, you guys are getting transported back in time to go hang out with Taylor Welch

Speaker 6 at Funnel Hacking Lab in 9 and a half. I hope you guys enjoyed this presentation.
If you do, let me know.

Speaker 6 And we'll see you guys all soon.

Speaker 5 When you encounter greatness,

Speaker 5 you can be threatened by it or you can be inspired by it.

Speaker 5 Pick one.

Speaker 5 Let's be inspired. Let's stand on the shoulders of giants.
And there's no one more threatening if you have a little bit of insecurity than like king of internet, Russell Brunson.

Speaker 5 But Russell, I got to say this real fast because it's like, it's real. I just met Russell two days ago.
For real, Doctor.

Speaker 5 And I gave him a hug. And

Speaker 5 you can't feel everyone's energy online, but when you meet him in person, it's like, whoa,

Speaker 5 this person's big. There's a story in the Bible about a guy named King David.
Anyone heard of him? Yes or no?

Speaker 5 David. David.

Speaker 5 Whatever.

Speaker 5 And so

Speaker 5 there's these mighty men of David. This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, but we got to hit Russell before we keep going because he gave me this mic, and so I'm going to use it.

Speaker 5 And there are these people around David that are warriors. Crazy.
One of them, Abishai, he like kills 300 people by himself. Joab, they're crazy people.

Speaker 5 But what's fascinating when you study this is years ago, these men were on the front lines of the Israelites afraid of a giant. It's the same people.
What changed?

Speaker 5 There was a multiplier injected into the mix.

Speaker 5 Russell Brunson, oh, he's a multiplier, man. And I think he's about to go to a new level.
If you agree with that, give him something. Give him something.

Speaker 5 I don't know where he is, but thank you. Thank you for being here.
Okay, we're going to dance a little bit. We'll have some fun.
I have some slides. I don't know if I'll use them or not.

Speaker 5 And we're just going to hang out. Do you have something to take notes with?

Speaker 5 Are we, is this room like crew family?

Speaker 5 Like, you know who they're voting for?

Speaker 5 Not there yet

Speaker 5 soon and very soon raise your hand if you have something in your life that you would like but you do not yet have

Speaker 5 all the way up

Speaker 5 what we're gonna do today and this is my main job I want to help you get these things

Speaker 5 I'll speed them up for you

Speaker 5 I want to make them easier

Speaker 5 more effortless

Speaker 5 how do we do that we have to build some power anybody wants some power in the room? Anybody online wants some power?

Speaker 5 Here's what we're going to do. I just want to I want to get to know you.
I've got, they gave me like four minutes to talk.

Speaker 5 Garrett gets an hour and a half.

Speaker 5 Maybe after nine years, you can give me 90 minutes.

Speaker 5 And I'm going to condense it down as much as I can. But what I want to do is I want to get to know each other real quick.

Speaker 5 Raise your hand again if you got something that you want that you do not yet have. All right, cool.
I'm going to give you a minute. I want you to write this down,

Speaker 5 physically, pen and paper. I want you to write it down.
You got 60 seconds to do this, and then we're gonna get to know each other a little bit. So, I'm gonna say, uh-huh.
All right, write it down.

Speaker 5 Is anybody bold enough to

Speaker 5 share?

Speaker 5 You know, part of getting this is

Speaker 5 taking it and printing it from the mental realm, second heaven, to the physical realm, first heaven. I'm gonna explain all of this for you, okay?

Speaker 5 I'm gonna explain it.

Speaker 5 Who wants authority? Raise your hands.

Speaker 5 What's authority mean?

Speaker 5 Recognition and respect. Recognition and respect.
Thank you very much. You get a bonus.
Who else?

Speaker 5 Leadership. What's your accent?

Speaker 5 Oh my God. Please keep talking.
Who else? What's authority mean?

Speaker 5 Here's what it means. Write this down.
Authority means the words out of your mouth have power.

Speaker 5 so if you take a

Speaker 5 is there a difference between a police officer standing with their hand up to oncoming traffic and a random civilian getting run over by something what's the difference authority authority means that what you say has power means what you do has power so once again raise your hand if you would like authority Throw it in the chat if you would like authority.

Speaker 5 Here's what the Bible says. You have to subdue the earth.
Authority is unlocked when you subdue.

Speaker 5 Authority can be latent, but you can't exercise it because you haven't wrestled with the thing you're getting authority over. Make sense? Yes or no?

Speaker 5 All right, so step number one: who wants to share their vision, their dreams? Raise your hand. Let's go.
What's your name, sir? DJ. DJ.
I love the shirt. Thank you.
It's shiny. You can use this mic.

Speaker 5 All right. So I have six kids.
You have 15, 16. 12 grandkids, and I want to give them what we've learned here today.
Let's go. The power to

Speaker 5 really live their own lives, their own dreams, and

Speaker 5 take life to the full potential. Because honestly, unless you learn this and execute this, you've got an average life and who the hell wants that? All right, round of applause.
Thank you, DJ.

Speaker 5 Who else?

Speaker 5 Who else? What's your name? I'm Victor. Victor.
Oh, I know you, Victor. All right, 15 seconds.
Okay, so I have a multi-seven figure in Brazil selling in Portuguese.

Speaker 5 Now I want to do it all again in English to the whole world. I love it.
Round of applause.

Speaker 5 I'll come back to you. The doctor has raised her hands.

Speaker 7 So it's Sonia.

Speaker 5 Sonia. I'm retired military.
Not Dr. Sonia? Sonia's fine.

Speaker 5 Oh, we're friends now. Yes, absolutely.
Okay, Sonia.

Speaker 7 Tell us. I'm retired military, so one of my things that I would love to be the go-to person for women veterans.
I did 21 years and three combat tours.

Speaker 7 The next thing, I'm on my Encore marriage, which means I'm looking for this. My husband now is married 18 years.
It's been two years, and I want the best of the best in my marriage.

Speaker 5 I love it. I love it.
Can I have it, hug? You're the best. Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 Kyle, you're going to have to be my mic stand. Don't talk in that.
Just hold it.

Speaker 5 If you want to talk, I guess. Whatever.
All right. Check this out.
So here's what we're going to do. We're going to speed up a little bit.

Speaker 5 And what I want to tell you is I want to tell you how I learned some of this stuff. Is that okay? We go with it.

Speaker 5 I should have, hey, here's what I'll do. If you like something, just say nugget.

Speaker 5 That was genius. It's like, my man, I'm stealing that.
That's good. This is me.
Say wah, wah, wah.

Speaker 5 Man, I am a case study for this stuff. I got started in business.
I was 24 years old, had no money.

Speaker 5 We lived off of Taco Bell. So we say amen.

Speaker 5 It's actually not as bad for you as they say.

Speaker 5 You just got to... use your authority

Speaker 5 you know

Speaker 5 we we didn't have any money we got married My wife, every piece of furniture in our house was given to us. I worked at the church full-time, vocational.

Speaker 5 You don't really join staff at a church to like make money.

Speaker 5 You join for other things. Anybody been on staff at church? Anybody worked vocational ministry? Yeah.
God bless you.

Speaker 5 And I got married to my beautiful wife. Her name is Lindsay.
This is her. And one day my wife, she takes me to a Ruby Tuesdays.
We go go to Ruby Tuesdays because it's free unlimited salad bar.

Speaker 5 We just eat and not pay for anything. She said, hey, I think it'd be nice, you know, you do you, but to have like some money.

Speaker 5 And I was, oh,

Speaker 5 okay.

Speaker 5 You're one of those people. You just worship mammon.

Speaker 5 So, no, I didn't say that. And she said, I think that maybe the

Speaker 5 church is not where you're supposed to be. I was like, I'm not going to hell and quitting the church job.
Like, because to me, I was so legalistic legalistic and didn't know how to work anything.

Speaker 5 And so, I took her advice literally. I said, I'm going to teach myself how to do this.
So, I started buying books.

Speaker 5 I started buying more books. One day she came home.
Funny story. Can I tell you a funny story?

Speaker 5 Yeah, thank you for the nugget, Michael.

Speaker 5 I'll give you something later for that.

Speaker 5 She came home one day, she was mad. Like, married dudes, raise your hands.

Speaker 5 You know, like, there's like, I'm frustrated with you, and then there's like, run away,

Speaker 5 Mad.

Speaker 5 And she said, what did you do? So what do you mean, what did I do? She said, there's an Amazon package at the door with six books in them. How did you buy them? I said, you told me to do this, woman.

Speaker 5 I just did what you tell me. She's like, well, I needed an oil change and we need to like date.
We couldn't afford both. So I just started buying books and she wasn't.

Speaker 5 I was like, you know, the mixed signals you get. Guys, we just got to like band together.

Speaker 5 I was like, well, I don't, maybe I don't need it. Anyways, we're not going to go there.
I don't have time. And one day I got lucky and I discovered this book called Psycho Cybernetics.

Speaker 5 If you've read it, let me know.

Speaker 5 And in psycho cybernetics, I learned that I had a program malfunction.

Speaker 5 The way that I was programmed by

Speaker 5 my upbringing, by my childhood. This is why, if you got kids, anybody got kids? Be really careful what you tell them.

Speaker 5 Because when you grow up learning, money don't grow on trees, hard-earned money. When you grow up learning these things as a kid, it begins to program you.
You know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 5 And so I realized I was programmed and I had a cap.

Speaker 5 So let me say cap.

Speaker 5 Then think about this as like a glass ceiling. Now be careful with this.

Speaker 5 Because some of your glass ceilings are actually gifts.

Speaker 5 If you grow beyond your maturity to hang on to it,

Speaker 5 mercy would be not giving it to you so you can keep it. Does this make sense?

Speaker 5 You sure?

Speaker 5 So I began to learn these rules, and I began to take them seriously, and I began to practice them. And all of a sudden, we started to get unlocked.
I was broke. We got married.

Speaker 5 And I started taking it seriously. And then I was not broke.
It happened again and again and again. And I learned this lesson.
Repeat after me. Things take as long as you need them.

Speaker 5 Repeat after me. Things take as long

Speaker 5 as you need them

Speaker 5 to take,

Speaker 5 but no longer.

Speaker 5 Things take as long

Speaker 5 as you need them to take,

Speaker 5 but no longer.

Speaker 5 Things take as long

Speaker 5 as I need them to take,

Speaker 5 but no longer.

Speaker 5 Uh-oh, this is a problem. This means that every level that I have wrestled with is really a responsibility issue that if I'm programmed correctly, I can grow past it.
Does this make sense?

Speaker 5 Are you good? She said, nugget.

Speaker 5 I love you so much. Thank you for keeping me going.

Speaker 5 It happened again when we moved to Nashville. We started the business.
We moved to a new city with new friends. and new environment and something unlocked.

Speaker 5 We hit a point of no return.

Speaker 5 i'm going to teach you a little bit about that today and things unlocked quickly we went from zero to 4 000 clients 700 staff hundreds of thousands of customers and we did these events all over the world and it got so big that one day i began to believe that i was entitled to the level that i had climbed to

Speaker 5 and this is when you start hearing people say like

Speaker 5 Nah, I'm not willing to do that.

Speaker 5 Nah, I don't want to work.

Speaker 5 I don't want to put myself online.

Speaker 5 You will never grow past the things that you feel like you are entitled to.

Speaker 5 And you will never climb over the things that you are too good to do. Does this make sense? Yes or no?

Speaker 5 So things started building. Some of you in this room actually were here during this season,

Speaker 5 to which I apologize. It was wild.
It was crazy. And then I started having kids.
This is my five-year-old daughter. Her name is Kate.
She's on the left. Harrison doesn't like being touched.

Speaker 5 His love language is like, stay away and give me food, and we're good.

Speaker 5 That's all he cares about. And one day, my daughter was three years old.
Listen to this, especially those of you who have kids or you want to have kids and you want to be a multiplier.

Speaker 5 I was eating breakfast at the jewel of the South,

Speaker 5 Cracker Barrel.

Speaker 5 Cracker Barrel is where you take people when you want to connect with them. Enjoy some pancakes and have some chocolate milk.

Speaker 5 And my daughter and my wife were sitting at the table and I've started talking to my three-year-old. You got kids?

Speaker 5 You talk to them, you know, like ask them questions. How you doing? How was your day? And I'm having a conversation with my daughter and she's not responding to me.
I'm like, what's wrong with you?

Speaker 5 I look at Lindsay. It's like, you're going to fix your child.
This is your offspring. Deal with it.
And Kate goes, looks at her mom, and her mom says, are you offended with daddy?

Speaker 5 My three-year-old says, yes.

Speaker 5 He promised to ride bikes with me and he didn't. She's three.

Speaker 5 He told me he was going to go to Chick-olay

Speaker 5 and he didn't. He said we were going to read books before bed and he didn't.
And the thought that goes through your mind when this happens, you think you have more time.

Speaker 5 Like who would have thought a three-year-old would be keeping a list of offenses

Speaker 5 with her dad?

Speaker 5 I was like, something's got to change because the model that I'm using is not working.

Speaker 5 If you get to the end of your life, lean in on this.

Speaker 5 This is

Speaker 5 some of the things that I say are things that you should rewrite your identity around. This is one of those things.
If you get to the end of your life and you have

Speaker 5 pockets of time that you regret you have failed regardless of how high you climb, regardless of how much money you make,

Speaker 5 if you have wishes that you could go back and do it different, you didn't play it 100%. Now, the good news is, how many of us have regrets?

Speaker 5 Yeah. Well, we're going to delete them today.
Full on delete. Are you okay with that?

Speaker 5 This leads me into

Speaker 5 the idea that I'm not a teacher. I'm a programmer.
So I'm not speaking. I'm kind of like externally processing with you.
Okay?

Speaker 5 Which is why you have to talk back to me or I'll just leave because I'll just go process by myself. I want to program you.

Speaker 5 I want to change the chemical makeup of your brain a little bit if you're cool with it. Are you good with it?

Speaker 5 You want me to keep going?

Speaker 5 You want me to stop?

Speaker 5 You getting something already?

Speaker 5 All right, nuggets. Thank you.

Speaker 2 Next up is a little song from CarMax about selling a car your way.

Speaker 8 You wanna sell those wheels? You wanna get a CarMax instant offer? So fast. Wanna take a sec to think about it.
Or like a monster. Wanna keep tabs on that instant offer.

Speaker 1 With OfferWatch.

Speaker 2 So, want to drive?

Speaker 5 CarMax. Pickup's not available everywhere.

Speaker 3 Restrictions and fee may apply.

Speaker 1 It's okay not to be perfect with finances. Experian is your big financial friend and here to help.
Did you know you can get matched with credit cards on the app?

Speaker 1 Some cards are labeled no ding decline, which means if you're not approved, they won't hurt your credit scores. Download the Experian app for free today.

Speaker 1 Applying for no Ding Decline cards won't hurt your credit scores if you aren't initially approved. Initial approval will result in a hard inquiry, which may impact your credit scores.

Speaker 5 I reached this point of no return. I was walking on a beach with my wife.
We had taken a vacation. It was about six months, four months after this had happened.
And any like, any Jesus people?

Speaker 5 Let's go! Yeah.

Speaker 5 Cool. But I'm a Jesus person, and I was walking on a beach, and I was praying about this.
I was like, what am I supposed to do?

Speaker 5 The best business consultant of all time is Holy Spirit. He's way better than any of us.
And I was like, what do you want me to do about this?

Speaker 5 And I feel like God spoke to me, and he was like, I want you to give these companies away. I was like, no, this is Satan.
Rebuke you. It's not.

Speaker 5 Never.

Speaker 5 Not today. We had just gotten professionally evaluated for $78 million.
It was a big deal. And he's like, give them away.
And I said, I'll make a deal with you. If you tell my wife, I'll do it.

Speaker 5 And if not, you the devil. So we ain't doing it.
Anybody relate with this? Like, because like hearing from God ain't that hard. Obeying God, very different.
It's very different.

Speaker 5 So I get home to my the Airbnb that we're staying at.

Speaker 5 And I say, hey, Lindsay, I think God might have spoken to me, but probably not. Caveat.
I feel like he told me to give the businesses away,

Speaker 5 like completely. And she begins to cry.
And I was like, yes. I knew this wasn't God.

Speaker 5 And I said, well, it's okay. It's okay.
We don't have to. Come here.
Let me comfort you and whatever.

Speaker 5 She said, no, no, no. God told me that you were going to have to do this two weeks ago.
And I said, I'm not telling him.

Speaker 5 Anybody have to make a deal with God that backfires?

Speaker 5 They're like, what was I doing negotiating with God?

Speaker 5 I said, okay.

Speaker 5 And the key, the trick to obedience, let me tell you this real fast. I'm going to teach you something that will change everything about your life forever.

Speaker 5 The key to obedience or power, regardless of whether you believe in it or not, is you have to obey before you can talk yourself out of obeying.

Speaker 5 Like,

Speaker 5 it's like getting in a cold plunge. Where you do not want to get in the cold plunge.

Speaker 5 But if you can just get in before your brain realizes that you're killing yourself in a cold punch, then you're good. And so, I just fired off an email.
Some of you are feeling this way right now:

Speaker 5 like, this is what I need to do, but rationally, oh,

Speaker 5 no, no, no, no, no, you just do it before you can talk yourself out of it, and your life becomes fruitful as you obey. Does it make sense, yes or no?

Speaker 5 So, I did this, I gave them all away, I sent the email right then, sent it to the attorneys,

Speaker 5 and then it

Speaker 5 all

Speaker 5 hell broke loose,

Speaker 5 And I had to test the lesson that I learned in the previous system.

Speaker 5 You see what I'm saying? Like, you get the download, then you get to test the download. So everybody walks away from these conferences.
And like, what did you learn? Decisive.

Speaker 5 Move.

Speaker 5 Obey.

Speaker 5 Invest.

Speaker 5 Well, you're going to have to test that.

Speaker 5 In your real life.

Speaker 5 That's how you get authority over the principle. Yes or no?

Speaker 5 You with me?

Speaker 5 Here's what I learned: is that

Speaker 5 the time between struggle and breakthrough can be skipped.

Speaker 5 It can be jumped. So we say jump.

Speaker 5 Why would you want to go through it?

Speaker 5 You can skip it. Why not skip it? So let's pivot.
Can I go deeper? David Hawkins, one of my favorite authors, he wrote a book called Power versus Force. Anybody read it?

Speaker 5 Power versus force. Force is not where you want to be.
You want to be in the realm of power. Here's what he says.

Speaker 5 To be a success, it is necessary to embrace and operate from the basic principles that produce success, not just imitate the actions of successful people. To really do what they do, it is necessary to

Speaker 5 be like

Speaker 5 they

Speaker 5 are.

Speaker 5 Success leaves clues. It's true.
We know this. We've been taught this.
Tony saved us and he taught us this principle.

Speaker 5 But the problem is if success leaves clues now we actually have to go back and find out what they were doing then

Speaker 5 to model that does this make sense yes or no Sonia how you feeling we good

Speaker 5 the the struggle can be skipped and the things that you think take 10 years can take six months they can take a month we're gonna go deep into some of like quantum entanglements let me say quantum

Speaker 5 you're gonna be real smart to your friends just be like quantum

Speaker 5 That's all you got to say. Who are you voting for? Well, in the quantum world, it's already happened.
So,

Speaker 5 Satin, you are the smartest person. No, no.
But I have to, because we have to get off of this old linear system, which is what is the linear system? 2 plus 2 equals 4. A equals B, then leads to C.

Speaker 5 It's like, do, do, do, do, do. But in the real world,

Speaker 5 you can skip all of it. If you know the rules.
Real quick, turn to somebody next to you. If you're in the chat, say this in the chat.

Speaker 5 Tell someone something you've been waiting too long to have But today you've made the decision that you're gonna get it go for it

Speaker 5 You guys got it done you told the person next to you All right, so let's break this down. Let's let's let's speed it up somebody on the front said I want to finish my yard.

Speaker 5 This round of applause for him for the honest answer

Speaker 5 What did you learn at ClickFunnels? Well, I learned how to do quantum entanglement to finish my front lawn

Speaker 5 Epic

Speaker 5 Epic. All right, let's go a little bit deeper.
Let's go a little bit deeper. Here's what I want to challenge you on a little bit.
Challenge you on a little bit.

Speaker 5 You can tell when somebody has a message to say, can't you? You sort of feel it?

Speaker 5 Okay.

Speaker 5 How can you tell?

Speaker 5 Yeah, how can you tell?

Speaker 5 They're expressing it. They're talking.
Are they whispering it? No. Are they mumbling it? No.
Okay, you guys got a message? Yes. You got something you want? Yes.

Speaker 5 Okay, when we turn to someone and we tell them, instead of going, well, I really want to just do this.

Speaker 5 How about we just actually tell them?

Speaker 5 Own it. Own your power.
I want to finish my lawn.

Speaker 5 All right, here we go.

Speaker 5 If we do jump into this new realm,

Speaker 5 So we have we have this dichotomy happening. We have the first heaven, which is the physical realm.
This is your

Speaker 5 touch, five senses, smell, taste, everybody knows that. And then we have the second heaven, which is the world of the emotions, the thought, the soul.

Speaker 5 And then we have the third heaven, which is the realm of the spirit.

Speaker 5 All power starts in the spirit, communicates through the portal of the second heaven, which is your emotions, and then manifests in the first heaven. Do we get it?

Speaker 5 Okay, so you're like a spirit person in a body. Okay, so sometimes what will happen is if we want to activate, boom, trigger the algorithm, what we have to do is we have to allow ourselves to feel.

Speaker 5 This is one of the most intelligent rooms I think I've ever been in. So thank you for letting me be here.

Speaker 5 Like, I don't always say that. You can ask my team.
Sometimes we're like, ooh, they dumb.

Speaker 5 We're going to have to work up real hard to get them there. Proverbs 11 says, through knowledge, the righteous are saved.
So there's some utility in not being dumb. There's a lot of utility.

Speaker 5 God, through all the Old Testament, he's like, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. My people are destroyed through lack.
It's like, they're so dumb.

Speaker 5 Then you come to ClickFunnels, meet Russell, and you get real smart. But we can't let the intellect overtake the spirit because when the spirit meets the human analysis, we shut it down

Speaker 5 because we forgot how to feel.

Speaker 5 So anyone who's like saying your feelings don't matter, it just means that they've achieved part but not all. They've gotten close, but not all.

Speaker 5 Because what drives the human condition is getting the download from the spirit, which comes from right here. When you get here and you live here, everything speeds up.
Say, speed up.

Speaker 5 All right, online, are we good? Have I lost you? Are you still here? Okay.

Speaker 5 If you go into this realm,

Speaker 5 there are some things we have to believe about it. And do just show of hands about permission to program a little bit.
Like, do you trust me enough? to go in and tinker

Speaker 5 let's see you okay let's do this i'm going to share some things failure in this realm, in the realm of the spirit, it says nothing about you. It's not a thing.

Speaker 5 Failure doesn't really exist in the spirit. Failure is what we have invented as humans to bring attribution to things we don't understand.
Just like time. What is time?

Speaker 5 Albert Einstein is writing a letter to one of his best friends. He's losing his mind because his whole life he's been on the Newtonian train.

Speaker 5 And then he realizes that everything is chaos and there's, it doesn't follow the rules. And he's losing, he's going crazy.
He sends a letter to his best friend.

Speaker 5 He's like, I don't know how to explain that time is a perception

Speaker 5 the time's the same way humans invented time so that we could experience little bits without messing up the whole thing does that make sense you sure pay your dues doesn't exist in this realm there's no such thing

Speaker 5 you don't pay to play in this realm

Speaker 5 you pay to position

Speaker 5 You pay to position and the payment is sacrifice. It's not always money, but sometimes it is money.
And you have unlimited tries. Some say unlimited.

Speaker 5 And when you play video games, it's like you play, and it's like, die, die, die, die, die, die. You make it.
Expansion pack, boom, next level.

Speaker 5 You're willing to die like 20 times just to get the next part. This is sort of similar in like the spirit worlds, okay? There's no such thing as

Speaker 5 failure in the spirit realm. What there is, is there is learning.
So let me prove this to you and break it down. We're going to go to the slides.
I'm actually doing a really good job using the slides.

Speaker 5 I feel like I may deserve a clap for that.

Speaker 5 All right, man, there's this one speaker, and he just made everyone clap for himself the whole time.

Speaker 5 We didn't learn anything, but we clapped for him.

Speaker 5 You've got beliefs. We say belief.

Speaker 5 Belief is

Speaker 5 the driver of everything. Anybody ever experienced self-sabotage?

Speaker 5 Man, I want to do this. I just can't get myself to do it.
And I'm going to try again the next day. Like, how many of you enjoyed, for real, Annie's story yesterday?

Speaker 5 Oh my God. It's so powerful when you get to meet someone at the bottom

Speaker 5 because that's where you see them. That's where you see them.
But you have belief. Belief drives everything.
If you've experienced self-sabotage, here's what you're experiencing.

Speaker 5 You're experiencing... A value system that's only getting met by not moving forward.

Speaker 5 Make sense?

Speaker 5 We're too deep. You want me to come back up stay here okay

Speaker 5 if you believe that you can either be

Speaker 5 a good dad

Speaker 5 or have a big business do we see the problem

Speaker 5 we have two value systems think about your I values antennas sticking up out of your head they go out into the world and they attract certain things you've got these like radar lidar systems what your brain's going to do in the spirit world is it's going to simultaneously try to attract

Speaker 5 It doesn't prioritize them the way you think they do. It's going to say, Hey, build the business.
Boom, we build the business. We got it.
We got it. Hey, be a good dad.
You're failing. Boom.

Speaker 5 Gotta go back over here. Be a good dad.
Hey, your business is failing. Boom.
Switch back over here. And then 10 years go by, and somebody's going

Speaker 5 back and forth, back and forth. Anybody ever felt this?

Speaker 5 Like, no matter what I do,

Speaker 5 it's like I'm not moving forward. Two steps forward, one step back,

Speaker 5 one step forward, two steps back. You want to delete that? Eliminate it? Say yeah?

Speaker 5 Say yes, please, baby.

Speaker 5 So here's how we do it. We have to change our belief.
We can't just focus on behavioral modification all the time.

Speaker 5 My five-year-old, I walked into the living room the other day, and I'm glad God hasn't killed us all.

Speaker 5 Because as I learn how to parent my kids, sometimes I'm like,

Speaker 5 disappear. Like,

Speaker 5 she's in the living room, and I walk through, and we have a nanny, and I see her go

Speaker 5 on the nanny and then he says, what did you do? And she goes,

Speaker 5 she growled at her nanny like a little baby bear.

Speaker 5 I said, Kate Wiles, this is her middle name is Wild.

Speaker 5 I said, apologize to your nanny. And she said, I'm sorry for hitting you.

Speaker 5 This is behavioral modification. That ain't going to work.

Speaker 5 That's not going to work. But as business owners, that's all we do.
We're like, if I do A, A, maybe I'll get to B, but if the identity doesn't change, then your antennas will just force you back.

Speaker 5 This is why God always changed people's name.

Speaker 5 If they told him what to do, but he didn't change how they called themselves,

Speaker 5 it won't work. You have no command over the spirit if you're using an old name for a new assignment.
Make sense?

Speaker 5 This is why it's really hard. When you feel like you're going from one season to another,

Speaker 5 Because if you fall in love with your assignment

Speaker 5 You will never be able to step into the if you think your assignment is your identity Then you're gonna have to drag that thing around like a ball and chain for the rest of your life So we have to chase The identity not the assignment.

Speaker 5 Does this make sense? Yes or no? You want me to keep going? Yes.

Speaker 5 Nugget

Speaker 5 this is actually a pretty difficult room. I'm surprised.
Surprised. A little bit, you know, because you guys are just taking it all in.
And I'm like, do I have some of my face? Are you just listening?

Speaker 5 Because your brains are working the whole time. So I just, I respect your intelligence.

Speaker 5 All right, belief. So let me say belief.
Next, next, next. Let me say next.

Speaker 5 We have our thoughts. Now, our thoughts are different than our beliefs.
Here's why.

Speaker 5 Our beliefs tell us what to feel about our thoughts. Here's an example.

Speaker 5 Anybody been stuck in traffic?

Speaker 5 Yeah, bad traffic, drivers, they should be illegal. You can't boat, you can't live here.
Like, it's awful. In Nashville, especially, we got bad drivers.
They're on, like, they're too slow.

Speaker 5 And if you're stuck in traffic, let's say you're on your way to a meeting and you're stuck in traffic.

Speaker 5 The thought you're going to have no matter what is, I'm going to be late.

Speaker 5 True?

Speaker 5 But we don't feel until our thinking consults our beliefs.

Speaker 5 Because here's what we could believe: we could believe I'm gonna be late, they're not gonna listen to me, I'm gonna get reprimanded, it's gonna be the worst thing that's ever happened.

Speaker 5 I'm probably gonna get a divorce because I'm gonna get fired. Well, then you're gonna be honking your horn and shooting around like a devil.

Speaker 5 And so, but if our belief is that, well, there's nothing I can do about it, let's turn on some RB, some smooth Russell Brunson,

Speaker 5 let's listen to the man.

Speaker 5 Let's listen to an audio book. Let's learn.
See, our beliefs, they actually, they tell us, how should I

Speaker 5 feel about this thing?

Speaker 5 Same thing happens with failure, by the way.

Speaker 5 So anybody like run a promotion that doesn't work

Speaker 5 every day?

Speaker 5 And then what do you feel about it? Depends on how you believe. Because a lot of people, their belief system is I am what I have.

Speaker 5 and if your belief is i am what i have rather than i am what i am then when you run something that fails you begin to feel all of these things insecurity disbelief lack of self-esteem but if you believe something different well you get it right you get it after your your feelings you have actions and actions run

Speaker 5 Actions run the circuitry of the world. So these are your choices.
How you behave is a loop. Draw it back.
All the way back

Speaker 5 to your beliefs. This is why they keep talking about momentum, right? Momentum, momentum, momentum.
Why do you want to stay in momentum?

Speaker 5 Because there's a loop, a circuitry, activity goes back and it feeds the belief that drives your feelings. Does this make sense? Yes or no?

Speaker 5 There are only two things that you can do.

Speaker 5 The people at the top, there's only two differences. They can either do something different or they can believe something

Speaker 5 different

Speaker 5 and Believing is what drives the doing. Does this make sense? Can we go deeper? You want me to keep going?

Speaker 5 All right.

Speaker 5 I'm going to put two minutes on the clock for this one. I want you to go real deep on this.
Raise your hand if you have something in your life that you regret fully and truly.

Speaker 5 Keep your hands up and look around the room real fast. Everybody without their hand up, don't do no JVs with them, okay?

Speaker 5 They're not being honest. We're going to do it again.
If you've ever had anything in your life that you regret, hands up.

Speaker 5 Yeah, even King Myron.

Speaker 5 You have changed my life, though. Thank you.

Speaker 5 Give it up.

Speaker 5 All right.

Speaker 5 Here's what I want us to do. I want to reprogram this so that

Speaker 5 instead of being dragged down by it, we can get power from it. Are we good with that? Yes or no? Two minutes on the clock.
I want to write these things down.

Speaker 5 I want you to write down your regret, one story, one story only. Don't give me a hundred things.
And I want you to write down what you learned from it. Got it?

Speaker 5 Good. Let's go.
Two minutes.

Speaker 5 All right. Turn to somebody different that you haven't spoken to and tell them what is the good thing that came from this.
And use your voice. Go ahead.
Go for it.

Speaker 5 What happened? What's the good thing that you can pull from this?

Speaker 5 All right. We good? We good?

Speaker 5 Give me some snaps if you good want to keep going all right love it thank you let's let's practice this for a second I want to redefine regret for you if I can and this is something that you might want to write down

Speaker 5 because as we learn I'm doing this on purpose like I'm you're teaching yourself as you write these things down so we're not just listening we're actually teaching our own minds and spirits as we as we go through the motions on this.

Speaker 5 But

Speaker 5 there are countless people in history that if you delete the regrets, you delete the good things too.

Speaker 5 People say, I wouldn't have kids if it wasn't for this person.

Speaker 5 And

Speaker 5 should I have married them? I wish I wouldn't have, but I can't delete my kids. And I love how many of you have heard like being fired from that job was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Speaker 5 Let's see, you don't want to delete everything, but we want to delete the belief around it. So, this is something you should write down.

Speaker 5 Your regrets

Speaker 5 are everything you had to do

Speaker 5 to become

Speaker 5 who you are supposed to be.

Speaker 5 Everything you had to do to become who you are supposed to be.

Speaker 5 Everything you had to do to become who you were supposed to be, called to be, anointed to be.

Speaker 5 We need to reframe this so that we can fix the past as we progress into the future. And you know what happens when you delete shame from the narrative?

Speaker 5 When you remove shame from the past, you automatically, accidentally, irrevocably delete anxiety about the future.

Speaker 5 Because in the future, here's what exists. Everything that has to happen

Speaker 5 to become who you were supposed to be, what's there to be afraid of?

Speaker 5 We don't think about it this way, but in a clinical sense,

Speaker 5 you have a color or a narrative from your past that is shaping the thought processes of your future. You can go into neurobiology, you can go into psychology.
It's the same, every you can

Speaker 5 go into string theory and quantum entanglement. It's all the same.
As we reframe the past, we are reliving something that hurt us,

Speaker 5 but through the lens of something that benefited us.

Speaker 5 And when we do this, we gain the ability to pre-live the future.

Speaker 5 Still with me?

Speaker 5 Because what's the future? It's just the past that hasn't happened yet.

Speaker 5 Because you have a man-made construct, past, present, future.

Speaker 5 We just printed something from the future into the past.

Speaker 5 And we just did it again.

Speaker 5 And we just did it again. You can't stop

Speaker 5 You can't slow it down.

Speaker 5 We just did it again.

Speaker 5 We just did it again. You catching it.
The past is being printed

Speaker 5 into

Speaker 5 a neurosystem that gives us recall. So, okay, let me break this down another way.

Speaker 5 If you could go into the future and see exactly what's going to happen, would you make more money?

Speaker 5 Like, who would have bought Bitcoin in like 2010 or whatever? When did Bitcoin get invented? 2009. 2009.
I would have bought it in 2009. If we saw the future, we would have known.

Speaker 5 So there is a realm where we can actually get into this state

Speaker 5 if we can get rid of the trauma of our past. We can remove the anxiety about our future.
And in that, we can control it. You want me to keep going?

Speaker 5 Turn to someone right now, tell them something you're grateful for in your past, because it had to happen for you to be who you are. Do it right now.
Turn to somebody.

Speaker 5 If you're in the chat, throw it in the chat. And tell me you are grateful for something and tell me what it is and and why you are grateful for it

Speaker 5 you want me keep going

Speaker 5 go deeper okay yes sir you think I'm crazy

Speaker 5 yeah

Speaker 5 I love the honesty

Speaker 5 all right so so the mistakes of our past are really nature's research is what it is As you print mistakes into the past, nature gets smarter.

Speaker 5 And so as you explore, you test the boundaries, this worked, this didn't work,

Speaker 5 this hurt. know this this hurts my one-year-old right now he is a master at discovering everything that can hurt him

Speaker 5 like stairs amazing the stove I'll touch it it's like you know when you're a baby

Speaker 5 you just it's pointy let's touch it as hard as we can like what are you doing but this is the way that the research takes place If you eliminated the mistakes, you just delete a body of research

Speaker 5 and you can't make good decisions. How do you learn to make good decisions? You make bad decisions and then make another decision

Speaker 5 and you tune the algorithm. Is it making sense?

Speaker 5 I am grateful for the consequences of my choices.

Speaker 5 Turn to the person on your left.

Speaker 5 I am grateful for the consequences of my choices. Turn to the other person.

Speaker 5 I am grateful for the consequences of your choices.

Speaker 5 So

Speaker 5 there's a block here because if mistakes are nature's

Speaker 5 research, why are there so many people stuck in insecurity?

Speaker 5 Why are there so many people stuck in repeating the same self-sabotage over and over? Like a loop. Going around the same mountain over and over.
Anybody tired of going around the same mountain?

Speaker 5 It's like, man,

Speaker 5 I love this mountain, but we're good.

Speaker 5 Let's move on. We can't go from one mountain into the next because our research doesn't print unless our meanings are correct.

Speaker 5 So what the body legitimately does is the body will keep bringing you the same data capsules over and over because, like, if you talk to me in another language, I don't understand it.

Speaker 5 I don't get it. The doctor's speaking to me and she can tell I don't understand it.
What's she do? Keep repeating herself. Why?

Speaker 5 He don't understand it. Like, where is the bathroom? Banyo.

Speaker 5 Donde. Banyo.
Bathroom. Bathroom.
Christine could help me out because she's a Latino.

Speaker 5 Latina.

Speaker 5 Don't what? Donde es el banyo. Donde es el bano.
But you know what I'm saying. You get the picture?

Speaker 5 Thank you for showing me up. You keep repeating it.
Why? Because they don't understand. What can I do to get this person to understand? Life's the same way.
Well, they went through this business.

Speaker 5 The business failed. There was something that they learned that was the wrong lesson.

Speaker 5 They got to fail again.

Speaker 5 They don't understand the language. So we have to repeat it until they lessons are repeated until they're what?

Speaker 5 Lessons are repeated until they're learned. And so we repeat over and over, but it's not because we're dumb.
It's because we're learning something that's not the lesson.

Speaker 5 How many of you have gotten into a car accident? Raise your hands. How many of you walk everywhere and refuse to drive a car? Why?

Speaker 5 That would be a lesson. Cars are dangerous.
I'm just going to walk to Las Vegas.

Speaker 5 Wrong lesson. Let me say wrong lesson.

Speaker 5 So this happens in business. I made an investment in this program.
Didn't work. So I'm never going to invest.
Another thing.

Speaker 5 Okay.

Speaker 5 Well, every investment you make is going to fail until you learn the right lesson. So you can go a long time or the short time.
You can do it quickly or you can do it the long way.

Speaker 5 Anybody familiar with the group of people called the Israelites back in the Bible? They go from one point to another point. It's about a 30-day journey, 38 days.
Anybody know how long it takes them?

Speaker 5 40 years.

Speaker 5 And we look at that and we're like, y'all are so dumb.

Speaker 5 It's like, well, you've been trying to do this for 10 years and you're still at square one.

Speaker 5 Aren't we the same?

Speaker 5 We don't have to. We can choose not to, but in order to do that, we have to learn the right lessons.
What are you hearing me say? Talk to me. Talk to me.
Talk to me. Talk to me.
In the chat.

Speaker 5 Talk to me now. What do you hear?

Speaker 5 Life happens for you, not to you. I fixed it.
What are you hearing? Don't learn the wrong lesson. Don't learn the wrong lesson.
What else?

Speaker 5 Life will keep hitting you until you learn the right one. What about you? Lesson learned never repeats itself.
Lesson learned never repeats itself.

Speaker 5 A round of applause for yourselves yourselves because you're amazing.

Speaker 5 All right, we got four minutes. We got four minutes.
We're going to do one more exercise and then we're going to wrap up. You good with that?

Speaker 5 I'm going to skip about 30 minutes because Garrett stole it.

Speaker 5 I'm just kidding. Garrett's probably watching this.
He's going to beat me up tonight. Grizzly bear out of his cage.
Let's do an experiment real fast, okay?

Speaker 5 We've touched the past. True? When you touch the past, you have to touch the future.
The past, present, futures, think about a long cello string. Okay?

Speaker 5 When you vibrate that string, is it vibrating at the top or the bottom?

Speaker 5 Yes.

Speaker 5 If you mute one side, is it muting the top or the bottom? Both. No sound comes out for the cello players in the room.
Time is like this. So when you touch the past, you automatically touch the future.

Speaker 5 Oops.

Speaker 5 So I've just programmed a bit into your future. You can thank me later.
It's going to be extraordinary because you have nothing to be anxious about because there's nothing for you to feel shame about.

Speaker 5 But we've visited the past. Now we're going to visit the future.
Are you ready for it?

Speaker 5 I want you to take one minute, 60 seconds, and I want you to write down your best case scenario for your life, your business, your money, your kids. Pick one area.

Speaker 5 Tell me what it looks like and what it feels like. And I've given you a picture to give you the warm and fuzzies.
60 seconds,

Speaker 5 falling colors, you can go.

Speaker 5 So

Speaker 5 here's the secret to making all of this happen.

Speaker 5 And, you know, you can, I think there's some of this material inside of

Speaker 5 Brunson's stuff. So if you want to go deeper

Speaker 5 and you haven't joined, then I'm deeply sorry for your loss and figure it out because

Speaker 5 we ain't got time to go into it. But the secret to skipping zones, jumping levels, sometimes you'll go through seasons where 10 years happens in six months.

Speaker 5 What you don't want is you don't want six months to go by in 10 years.

Speaker 5 So we have to prioritize accordingly. The secret is we begin to make decisions that the person there would make.

Speaker 5 Because

Speaker 5 life goes,

Speaker 5 hey, I don't really care what this person wants. What do they deserve?

Speaker 5 What actions demonstrate that they can hang on to? the things that they're wanting to get. So this is all we have to do is we have to then isolate.

Speaker 5 You should practice this on the plane home you should think about this what what types of decisions would this person make if they had a hundred real estate properties or a 60 million dollar net worth what would they do and then you slowly begin to make those decisions are we good

Speaker 5 russell it's zero seconds i'm gonna wrap taylor a welch if you want to follow me i love you guys thank you so much y'all are the best

Speaker 4 Hey, this is Russell. I had a really cool offer for you right now.

Speaker 4 Shortly after we launched ClickFunnels, I remember asking some of our top two Comic Club award winners, what would they do if they had everything taken away from it?

Speaker 4 If they lost their name, their brand, their email list, their traffic, everything. And all they had was a ClickFunnels account and internet connection for 30 days.

Speaker 4 What would they do over the next 30 days to get back on top? I asked over 100 two Comic Club winners and from that 30 people wrote me back and gave me very detailed step-by-step battle plans.

Speaker 4 Day number one, they would do this. Day number two, they would do this.
And by the time the 30 days was done, they'd be back on top with a very successful business.

Speaker 4 Do you want to know what these people wrote? If so, I took all of these 30 battle plants and put them inside of one book that you can get free at 30days.com.

Speaker 4 All you got to do is go to 30days.com and go get a free copy of this book. We'll ship it out to you, just cover the shipping handling.

Speaker 4 And when you get it in the mailbox, you have a chance to go through and look at all of these detailed step-by-step blueprints.

Speaker 4 All you got to do is find one of these blueprints that you like, follow it step-by-step, and when you're done, you will have your own online business done and launched and live.

Speaker 4 So go get a free copy of one of my favorite books we've ever created at 30days.com. Again, that's 30days.com.
