This is the Victor Davis-Hansen Show again.

So, Victor, we've had lots of news this week, and I wanted to start with Cash Patel because he was a great nomination, if you ask me.

But there's lots of controversy out there about him.

And I was wondering your thoughts on that, and especially on the controversy.

What is it that we should overlook as far as their criticisms of Cash Patel?

We had Cash on our podcast about his book on corruption, gangsters and stuff, and the government.

So

why are they so upset at Cash Patel?

And why are they trying to stop him?

That's a legitimate question, because if you look at his resume, he has, he was, I think by Devin Nunes, who also was just on our podcast, by his own admission,

Cash was assigned to

analyze what the steel dossier was.

And remember, before the Nunes

committee looked at this collusion hoax, nobody really knew what the FBI role was, and they had denied it.

Cash Patel and his team of investigators on the prompt of Evan Nunes found out that not only was Christopher Steele a foreign national that had a bogus dossier that the Democratic people had signed off on and had outsourced, excuse me, I should say the Republican.

That was initially some

never-Trump Republicans had initially made contact with him.

That half-finished lying dossier was then refined by Hillary Clinton.

And what Cash showed was two really important things.

One, the FBI actually was paying Christopher Steele as an informant.

And two,

Hillary Clinton was.

Hillary Clinton had denied that, but she was using the DNC Firewall One, who paid the Perkins-Coey law firm Firewall 2 and the Fusion GPS Firewall 3.

And that really broke it open.

So he had a lot of investigated.

investigated he came to that

position as a he had been a long time prosecutor in the DOJ and confined to terrorism he had been he would then go on to work in the DOD all the way to the end of the Trump administration so he had DOD experience he had DOJ experience he was a career prosecutor he had been a public defender and he had worked in the intelligence so with that resume and he's actually a very brilliant guy and he has a photographic memory, and he's fearless.

So

why are they up so upset?

And the thing about cash is he's blunt.

So he had also been, and this is thematic of all the Trump nominees, that they have been targeted by the

agencies in which they are going to direct.

What do I mean by that?

Tulsi Gabbert put on a

no-fly list.

She's director of national intelligence.

Pete Hex says takes a lot of criticism, War on Warriors book about the Pentagon.

He's going to nominally head the Pentagon.

RFK, HHS hates him.

They go after him.

He's going to head.

Jay Bacharia, a victim of a censorship

campaign against him by many people in HHS, and that's subordinate.

He's running NIH.

That is one thing that they look at him and they think, you know what?

He's a loose cannon.

He said he's going to reform the FBI.

And he wants to move the office to Kansas, he said, or the middle of the country.

And he's going to bring in all these old retired FBI guys that we got rid of.

We're the young Turks and we're McCabe and we're Ray and we're Comey and we've got we're political, you know, and we've got a lot of stuff we don't want to talk about.

And we do things under Ray, you know, like we went after Catholic, we said they were far-right traditional Catholics.

We went after pro-life protesters.

We

went after parents at school board meetings.

We've done a lot of things.

We had the laptop

of Hunter Biden's under our possession.

We knew it was genuine, and yet We fueled the mythology right before the 2020 campaign.

we fueled the mythology that it was bogus to enhance this lie about laptop disinformation, which 51 of our friends in the intelligence community had sworn falsely that it was a product of the Russians.

So we didn't want to release it, but we did one thing worse than release it, not releasing it.

We went and partnered with the old Twitter and Facebook to suppress news accounts that it was genuine.

So I could go on and on, but they don't want this guy to come in because

he will expose all that.

And there's communications, etc.

Number two is they're going and saying, well, he's not an FBI agent.

He's never been an FBI agent.

That's like saying, well, Donald Trump has never been president.

And Joe Biden has got a lot more political experience than Donald Trump.

How'd that work out?

So those are two things.

And then, as I said, he's over and candid.

You're You're just not going to have cash say,

what are you going to do about the FBI if you were to be...

Well, it's a very problematic question on the pros and the cons, but I want to be very slow.

You know, he's not going to do that.

He's going to say there's a lot of corruption.

And I think the FBI is very...

upset because there's a lot of dissonant FBI agents and they have really been angry at Robert Mueller who was the special counsel who lied basically by saying he had no knowledge of Husing GPS and the steel dossier.

His successor, James Comey, who let Harley off the hook, she destroyed all of those emails and they were under subpoena and the devices that were subpoenaed.

Loretta Lynch, his superior, had met with Bill Clinton.

He exercised both investigative and prosecutorial responsibilities, which you never see.

He had

met with Donald Trump in a private confidential conversation with the President of the United States, and he memorialized it on an FBI device.

And then he leaked it to a third party.

He didn't even have the guts to leak it himself.

He got a third-party friend who leaked in the New York Times a classified information.

Then he lied to the President of the United States and said he was not the target of an FBI investigation, when he was.

And of course, he dreamed up.

Operation Hurricane Crossfire, which was the investigation of the Trump campaign on false charges of collusion.

So when he went before Congress, the Nunes Committee, on 245 occasions, he said, I can't remember.

Could you

explain why you were paying money to Christopher?

I don't remember.

That's not clear.

Why did you have an ambush interview with Michael Flynn?

What did he do wrong?

Why did you send people there?

You had bragged that he was naive enough to let you come in without a lawyer.

Why?

I don't remember.

It's just, you know, it's just a period.

That's what he did 245 times.

Then he was removed.

And his successor, Andrew McCabe, the interim, remember he was infamous for three things.

So

I want to stop here and say these are things that Kash Patel has not done.

Kash Patel, I'll take this one example, the third example of the successive directors.

Andrew McCabe lied four times to federal investigators.

The Inspector General of the DOJ, Michael Horowitz, he lied.

He said he was not the source of leaks about an FBI investigation to the Wall Street Journal.

He lied to federal investigators.

Number two, if we recall the Stroke-Page correspondence, do you remember that Lisa Page said to Peter Stroke in their text, the Paramour text?

She said,

Well, remember what we told Andy, that we're not going to let this happen.

We need an insurance policy.

In other words, the three were discussing the insurance policy, which was the russian collusion hoax yeah to keep donald trump yes

and he said there's no way he said there's no way we're going to let trump be president that's almost a literal quote yeah

okay so that was the second thing he did

he lied to federal investigators he's on record

in a conversation that they are planning how to stop a candidate with a legitimate aspiration to be president.

And the FBI is going to stop that.

And they tried to stop that.

The third was, do you remember this weird interlude where they decide that the left decides that Donald Trump is Biden-like.

He's suffering from dementia.

So they get this Yale psychiatrist and they bring her up to Congress.

Remember her?

Yes.

And she says, well,

I'm diagnosing him and he is crazy.

And they said, well, that's unprofessional for a psychiatrist not to meet a patient.

She said, I don't care.

He's crazy and he needs to be restrained.

We need an intervention.

She wrote a book.

She edited a book.

So there was this hysteria.

Donald Trump even was forced to take the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, of which he aced.

Yeah, wow, I didn't realize she went that far to say she needed to be restrained.

Yes, she did say that.

An intervention.

She needs to be restrained.

Yeah, she was.

She was censored by her, informally so, but by her colleagues, even at Yale.

But this is what I'm getting at.

In that climate, Rosenstein, who was the active DOJ with the departure of Jeff Sessions, and Andrew McCabe discussed how to frame Donald Trump.

And Rosenstein, according to McCabe, said to McCabe, they don't check me when I go into DOJ.

I could wear a wire, and no one will ever know it.

So we'll just have a conversation with Trump.

In other words,

I'll get close to Trump and you guys in the FB wire me up and finally he'll say something stupid.

We'll have it.

And I guess he meant will either blackmail the president or show it to the cabinet and get him out by the 25th Amendment.

Later Rosenstein said that McCabe was lying.

McCabe said that Rosenstein was lying.

That is the third successive FBI director.

The fourth of course is Christopher Wright.

Remember that Christopher Wray

said that when Comey stepped down, then McCabe became interim.

When what I just said transpired, he was demoted and he was in a process of Trump trying to get rid of him.

At that point,

Ray took over as permanent FBI director and McCabe had only been interim.

And so what did he do?

The first thing he said, if you get rid of Ray, excuse me, Ray said, if you get rid of McCabe, I'm going to...

I'm going to resign.

At that point, Trump said, promises, promises.

He should have, but he didn't.

So they let McCabe stay, and then there was that argument.

They got rid of him finally and his retirement and all that stuff.

And then Ray did what?

He monitored school board meetings on the prompt of the DOJ, who had been influenced by teachers' unions.

We don't want these parents.

They're objecting to trans stuff.

That's against union policy.

Who are they?

Go to the FBI.

Go to these Virginia meetings and monitor them.

We'll find out who the ringleaders are.

Two, pro-life demonstrators.

They're not like pro-abortion demonstrators to get in your face.

They're dangerous.

They're white nationalists.

Let's go have a performance art raid at this guy's house and arrest him.

And then,

in addition to that,

they went after Catholics.

They went after pro-life people.

And they went after so-called white supremacists.

And I don't think there was any evidence for that as well.

They also went after Rod.

They didn't have to go after Roger Stone with an armed SWAT team and tip off CNN.

They went into Mar-Lago.

Remember how they rearranged these items on the floor that looked like that Trump had been storing them by just tossing them?

They were far more secure in Mar-Lago than they were in Joe Biden's garage and other locations.

And they had been there far less time than Joe Biden's 30 years as a senator.

So that's what they all do.

And Cash comes in and says, I'm not going to do that.

And so now the left says, hmm,

we're going to stop him for what we think he might do, but we don't care about what the last four directors actually have done.

That's the argument against him.

And

we'll see.

And as far as not being an FBI director, that is the point.

What I just outlined is the point.

Donald Trump is saying to everybody the people with these

Christopher Wray or Andrew McCabe degrees, I think in the case of Christopher Wray, he's a Yale graduate, these don't mean anything.

They don't mean anything.

And Robert Mueller's resume and Comey's resume and all this experience, because they continually break the law because it goes to their head as if they're

untouchable.

And we need somebody who's practical.

And the only way we can count on them is they're not part of that body politic.

So I have just a follow-up question on that.

Have you heard, I mean, I think somebody said this in in some

news show I was watching.

It might have been facetious, but they said they had noticed all of the

sounded like shredder trucks outside of the FBI and the CIA.

And I wasn't sure whether that was just

a joke

and the DOJ,

but a joke to make the point that they're going to get rid of.

There wasn't a shredder truck.

I think it was outside the DOJ.

One of the things that

Tom Fitton and his group are doing is they're suing

to get the records of Jack Smith, the special counsel, because apparently he was in contact on Fanny Willis's Fulton County investigation.

They said they had no contact.

But we keep, in this podcast, we keep going back to that November 23rd, iconic 2022 date where on the same day within hours, the special

counsel was appointed.

And

Mr.

Coangelo left the DOJ, a very prestigious third billet to to go work for Alvin Bragg.

And then Fanny Willis' paramour, Nathan Wade, was in the White House with the White House counsel.

All that was on the same day.

On the same day.

Exactly.

Yes.

So you had the Willis investigation.

You had the Bragg investigation.

You had the Smith.

The only reason that you didn't have the fourth, Letita James, was a civil suit.

She was suing.

Well, it was a criminal suit.

She was the Attorney General of New York, but she was suing on a civil matter of a fine for supposedly inflating his real estate collateral assets.

So

they were all coordinated, and they do not want that information released.

Anthony Fauci does not want

those

post-COVID discovery

right after we discovered about the COVID and it was going to come here and it actually had, I think, a couple of cases.

That frantic exchange between him

and Francis Collins.

Yeah.

And that was about gain of function research, that they had sent money through EchoHealth, Peter Dosik, to avoid legal restrictions on gain of function in the United States.

So we sent about $600,000.

But as Stephen Quay, who is also on this podcast, pointed out, it wasn't that people would say, well, hey, hey, Victor, well, $600,000 is nothing when you have a Wuhan lab.

It wasn't just that.

They allowed people to send instrumentation and expertise about how to do gain of function research.

So in other words, Fauci thought, if I support this communist PLA lab, and if they can do things that we're not allowed, and we give them instrumentation and money and advice, then maybe they'll share the results with us.

That is so naive.

But yeah, they did share the results with us.

They did.

Most turkey.

Killed one million Americans.

The thing about it is it's so incomprehensible and so unimaginable that public health officials that are responsible for our safety would have had an indirect, if not a direct role in manufacturing a virus that was going to kill a million of them.

As somebody who had a horrific reaction to the second COVID where I, you know, I was

very high fever for a week and then I had an autoimmune response.

I have an autoimmune problem, but

it was long COVID for a year and then I went two years, I got it again and I was sick for four months.

So there are some of us that are not able to handle, and

this doesn't happen to me when I get the flu or anything, influenza.

It's only this particular virus.

And I have a feeling that's the spike protein element in it that your immune system, for some people, can't get rid of.

So it just wears you out going, going, I I mean, I lost 25 pounds trying to get rid of this white protein.

So I have a personal grievance against Anthony Fauci and all of these people.

And that personal grievance is minuscule, minuscule, trivial, irrelevant compared to the families who lost people who died.

I know so many people who died, especially in this community of Selma, any

because it's mostly Mexican-American, but Mexican-American males who were suffering from diabetes, say 55, maybe a little overweight, suffering, battling obese, got this disease, they died.

I know a lot of people who died.

And there was no need for that.

And so,

and then the way that he tried to protect the Chinese, and he praised the Chinese, Fauci did.

And he was basically, I think, saying to us, to the Chinese, please don't expose my role in this fabrication of this virus.

Well, let's move on to Hunter Biden.

Big news

this week is that Joe Biden, of course, pardoned him, which I think to most people is not really all that surprising.

But the left seems to have a bee in their bonnet over this.

They are going nuts.

And for example,

Governor Newsom saying he was disappointed,

some of the talks, podcasters saying they couldn't believe it, they felt betrayed by Joe Biden.

I was like, I don't know, I just felt like, well, of course he was going to do that.

We all knew he was lying, even though

what the issue was, was that the left are law abiders and Donald Trump is not.

I think is what the point they were trying to make with their Joe Biden lies.

But what are your thoughts on this?

Well, they all, all summer long, at key points in the campaign, early in May, June, July, at key opportune moments, Karen, Jean-Pierre, and Joe Biden himself

not just said that they were not going to

they, meaning the administration, in particular Joe Biden, was not going to pardon Hunter, but they did it emphatically so.

And they did it in the context of rule of law, rule of law.

We are the party that protects democracy, unlike Donald Trump that questioned his judicials.

And they often said, oh, Donald Trump attacked the prosecutor.

He's attacking Fannie Willis.

He's attacking Letitia James.

But Joe Biden, he abides by the rules of Merrick Garland and the special counsel.

And then we learned the following: that the DOJ under Merrick Garland and Mr.

Weiss had had a cooked-up deal that vilified the two IRS special investigators on Hunter, tried to destroy their reputations, did destroy their reputations, were all set to give him a sweetheart deal, and had already said they were not going to prosecute crimes

by the five-year statute.

So

there were crimes before that he's not going to have to pay for, even if they hadn't pardoned him.

And then the argument, as the judge basically pointed out,

how can you say that he should get a pass for his addiction when he was making over $1 million a year?

So

you're too drug-adled to pay your taxes, but you're not drug-addled enough to get a million-dollar income?

This is ridiculous.

So they threw that out.

So then I'm mentioning that because Joe Biden said that it was a politicalization and weaponization of the legal system again.

Against his son.

And what is he talking about?

He's basically saying, translate, Merritt Garland, my own DOJ, and my own prosecutors are hurting my son.

Well, if that's true, what do you think you were doing to Donald Trump?

Because you unleashed the special counsel.

And then they took a coordinated approach, and you had James, and you had Bragg, and you had Fannie Willis, and they were all trying to destroy him.

And then he says, and no other person would have been charged with this gun charge.

Well, no other president, including you, would have been charged taking documents that had an archival dispute except Donald Trump.

You did that.

You, Joe Biden.

And then it wasn't even a pardon.

Pardons are something that you do something wrong in the past,

and then you excuse that person.

You exempt that person.

Who shows some contrition, right?

Yes.

So

this pardon goes back to 2014.

And what it says is, I'm translating translating again, but as I read it, it says,

if Hunter

is found to do anything

over the last 10 years, anything,

if he rented a house from somebody, which he did, and he never paid the $300,000 rent, and they choose, and it's a federal matter, if they could be,

maybe it was because he was getting, I don't know what,

he's exempt.

So any crime that is found through documentation that was hidden that will come to light under the Trump administration,

then

nobody can prosecute.

He cannot be forced, I think, to

testify in any particular case that might involve him in a criminal act.

But it's also, and this is very important, it is a

pardon for the entire Biden family.

Because remember, if you look at the contents, and I got the contents of the laptop, if some of you have seen that publication, it's online, and I read the entire thing.

It is the most incriminating document.

Mr.

10%,

the big guy, I'm tired of paying his

utilities bill.

I help dad out.

He doesn't appreciate.

I'm the bad guy.

And it's just prima facie evidence of this money coming in.

And now, according to the House Oversight Committee, $20 million.

And all of the Bidens, three generations of Bidens, the siblings were getting it.

Joe was getting it.

The grandkids were getting the money.

And every once in a while would emerge loan repayment.

Remember, Jim Biden sends him over

$250,000.

Loan repayment.

Just have somebody pay you for a service.

Say you're a lawyer and you go do legal work and he writes loan repayment on the check.

You think the IRS is going to fall for that?

And

then you learn that he didn't even pay the fine that his lawyer did.

So how does that work?

Somebody pays you,

I guess it was a million-dollar exposure when he was paying his back taxes to get off of a criminal exposure.

And so the lawyer pays it.

Is there, I don't, I say, I don't think the House investigators found a formal loan document.

I don't think they found scheduled interest payments.

I don't think there's any evidence that Hunter has paid back one penny.

So that's not a loan.

That's a gift.

Yeah, wasn't that his sugar daddy that was showing up with him at the trials?

Yes, and then the lawyer as well.

My point is this.

The IRS,

for any of us listening, knows every one of these tricks.

And they know that if you get a gift, I think now it's gone from $17,000 to $19,000,

but any gift over that to an individual, the person who gives it has to pay gift tax.

And

that didn't happen.

And you don't just, anytime money in the United States exchanges hands, for

all practical purposes, there's a tax paid, whether it's income or gift or what.

And you have to abide very carefully by those laws.

He didn't abide by any of them.

Now he has a pardon for all of that.

for 10 years.

The guns, the guns, he says, well,

nobody would ever be charged with this gun violation.

They do do that all the time.

If you go to New York City and you're walking down the street and you have a concealed weapon with a permit, let's say from Mississippi, but not from New York, and somebody comes up and hits you over the head and you pull out that gun and the cops happen to drive by, they will arrest you for that, for an improperly

registered gun without registration for conceal permit in New York.

And they will throw the book at you.

And he knows that.

So

that was another thing besides that, that Hunter Biden was abusing the tax system.

He didn't pay back taxes.

There is a pardon for Joe Biden and the entire family for a whole decade of malfeasance.

So for all practical purposes, the whole Biden crime syndicate is over with now.

It's untouchable.

There's a final element that I was thinking.

I haven't seen it remarked on.

I've got to calm a little bit about it.

There is a sickness in Hunter Biden, vis-a-vis his father.

I mentioned that if one reads carefully the laptop communications, there's an anger.

He is not Bo Biden.

He is the bad seed, the prodigal son.

He feels that he cooked up the entire

shakedown operation.

He is the dirty bag man.

He is Hunter.

Remember he says to his cousin, they always have me do stuff.

Nobody ever, I'm the one making this family.

If I was like dad, I'd charge everybody.

So he had to do the dirty work.

And then he gets angry because he sees his father's homes and his lavish lifestyle, his sports car, his family.

And then it's Hunter.

Hunter, go give us some more money.

Hunter, you like that stuff.

You like to go shake down.

Go get down to Air Force 2 and go shake with

dad.

And he got very angry about it.

And then when he was up with the IRS and they were squeezing him because of this phony sweetheart deal they cooked up, and the judge was mad, his lawyer, his lawyer said,

We might have to call in Joe Biden, now president.

Think of that.

They're going to call the president of the United States to testify on behalf of Hunter Biden, and he would say something that would probably be preposterously false, and they would be able.

And so he was basically

blackmailing his own father and saying, if you don't pardon me at some point, I am going to have you come and testify.

And if you don't believe this, you think Victor's crazy?

Right during the height of these controversies and this exposure, Hunter Biden started to paint.

And he put a paintbrush in his nose and mouth.

Yeah, or something.

What was it?

Something was in his mouth?

Yes.

I mean, that was almost a deliberate reference to his Coke.

It was like, I snorted Coke up my nose.

Oh, I know what it was.

It was those.

I want an ambassadorship.

I want a law changed.

I want a regulation modified.

Why did he do that?

Why did he do that?

I can tell you, it's the same thing as the references in the laptop.

It is the same thing of threatening to bring his father in to court and embarrass him.

He's sending a cannonball shot across the administration bow.

He's saying, you people think you're really good.

I'm going to go do this and make my own money.

Are you going to stop me?

Try to stop me and see what happens.

And what happens is he's testifying.

Yeah.

And he could bring down the entire family.

And they just thought, you know what?

We don't, as long as I'm running for president, we're going to contrast the Biden word, the word of a Biden.

Remember that?

Biden's word is solid.

We're the party of democracy and law and constitution.

And we're going to get every one of these lackey lapdogs that we have utterly no respect for, the Joe Scarboroughs,

the people at CNN, that cast, the Joy Reeds at MSNBC,

Rachel Maddow.

The View, we'll get them all to just keep saying, look at Joe Biden compared to Trump.

He's so principled.

He's going to even,

nobody gets...

an excuse, the rule of law, the rule of law, the rule of law.

And they did, and now, and then he was thinking, you know what?

As soon as this election is over, me, Harris, doesn't matter, win or lose, who cares, Hunter is going to be pardoned.

And those idiots who helped the campaign, they're going to get nothing but embarrassment.

None of them have said that.

They all say, I feel so bad.

How can he do this to me?

He's embarrassed me.

They're all narcissists, Victor, so that's why they are.

They're horrible people.

You know, everybody, when Devin Nunes was under scrutiny and he kept using this term, fake news, the fake news.

He said it all the time, and people would say and think, wow, that is so reductionist.

That's so juvenile.

That's exactly right, the fake news.

These people make things out of whole cloth.

I'm just not talking about Jussie Smollett or Donald Trump said to drink bleach or officer sicknik was killed by a mob.

They do it in every aspect of their news coverage.

They make things out.

And they do it because they think that they are morally and intellectually superior and the means are necessary to get to the

Donald Trump is holding court.

And some of his recent visitors have been Justin Trudeau from Canada and the Mexican president, who is Claudia Scheinbaum.

And they've come and Donald Trump has had some choice words with them, telling Trudeau that maybe he should become the 51st of the state and be governor.

And he says that he has arranged with the Mexican president Steinbaum to secure the border, but then she immediately turned around and said, well, I never made, here's her quote from her.

I give you the certainty that we would never

propose that we would close the border.

So,

but what's going on with the Well, what's going on is that the hated orange man, fascist dictator who is going to destroy the world

is not that at all.

So if they really believed all the horrific things they said here in the United States and Europe and in Mexico, Obador was really cruel, then they wouldn't have anything to do with Trump.

But they...

The second thing that's going on is what we call left-wing projection.

And I've said this a thousand times.

They say, hmm, we tried to destroy Donald Trump by lying about him.

If I were elected president and I had all that power, if I had done what I had done to him and I was now on the receiving end, I know what I would do.

I would go after all my enemies.

That means that they're going to go after me because Trump must think like I do.

No, he doesn't, actually.

You're much more vindictive and vengeful than he is.

But the point is that they're all coming to cut some kind of deal.

There was a reported conversation at that table where Trump said something to the effect of Trudeau is:

Can't Canada survive without ripping us off for $100 billion a year?

Is it so important?

No sooner have they had that conversation, and

all of a sudden, Ontario is starting to put these ads on television.

Dear old friend, Ontario, we are here to help you.

We've got all this natural gas and oil, and we're part of America.

And the commercials,

it's weird.

They look like Americans.

So then Donald Trump, at some point, I think they were picking up on it.

He reportedly said to Trudeau, maybe you should become the 51st state and you can be instead of you can be instead of prime minister you can be governor governor yeah governor of Canada I wouldn't want Canada to be part of the United States because we would get like 20 million San Francisco's they're nutty left yeah we're not going to have that but the point is that they're all there and then Shine Bonn the Mexican president comes down and There's a big caravan forming, of course, to get in their last licks.

And we've got to remember Obador.

Obador said that he told everybody to vote against Ron DeSantis.

He told everybody to, I thought that Yankees, the Yankee

always interfere in Latin American politics.

I didn't know that the Mexican president has the audacity to tell Mexican-American citizens, of which he said, isn't it a beautiful thing that 40 million came here?

Not under illegal auspices, it wasn't, Mr.

Obador.

And they fled you.

I wouldn't brag about how many people fled your country because you wouldn't serve their social needs.

And they came to a supposedly xenophobic and racist country, which they felt was preferable to you.

And yet you're bragging about the fact.

That's like Trump saying,

that's really good.

40 million Americans left to go to China.

It doesn't make sense, Mr.

Obadore.

But in any case, He said not to vote for DeSantis, not to vote for Republicans, not to vote for Trump.

She comes in,

and then Trump says immediately about the caravans and the, we're going to slap a 25% tariff.

And she's thinking, hmm, I better call him up.

I can't, I'm a communist socialist.

I hate his guts.

I don't like the United States, but we're doing really well.

We're getting $63 billion in remittances.

It's the largest source of foreign exchange, larger than our oil income, larger than our tourism, larger than the $30 billion the cartels make for us out of sex trafficking, immigration, smuggling, and fentanyl.

And she's thinking, I've got to be kind of careful because the Chinese are sending all this raw fentanyl into our cartel factories.

They're turning it in to things like value,

Atavan,

candy, anything that an American will take and know it's not fentanyl because they're not stupid.

They know the fentanyl will Kill them.

So we got to disguise it.

And we're killing 80,000 a year, 70,000.

The Chinese are happy.

They're killing Americans.

We're happy.

We're making $30 billion on the drug trade.

And we don't dare say a word because the cartels have ways of getting to all of us.

And she's thinking, hmm, and then we...

We're also facilitating ways for the Chinese to cheat on tariffs because we are having their products come to Mexico and we're assembling them, giving good jobs to Mexicans, and then we're sending it up to the United States under NAFTA protocols tax-free and the Chinese are getting the money.

They get the money by supplying the fentanyl and we help launder their cash and they get this, we get the 63 billion and by the way Americans, a lot of the 63 billion, I shouldn't say a lot, I say the vast majority comes from illegal aliens who are

being subsidized by the U.S.

and state government and local governments for their health, food, shelter needs, so they can free up somewhere people have estimated from $400 to $600 a month to send down to

mostly indigenous people in Mishocan, Chiapas,

and Oaxaca.

And because the Mexican government, racist to the core, will not extend the social safety net to

southern Mexico to the same degree they do to other uh states in mexico she knows all that that's my point trump comes along and the first american remember when obedor was helping biden get up the steps yes you're so weak let me help you yes

yeah so

he's the first president that knows mexico i wrote a column this week called yes mexico knows exactly what they're doing yeah so trump comes across i was talking to an administration newly appointed official today we had a good conversation.

what is the better strategy?

Not which strategy, which is the better strategy?

And he didn't mean they were mutually exclusive.

And one was tariffs on Mexico, and the other was taxing remittances at, I don't know, 10% gives you $6 billion, $20 gives you $12,

30% gives you $36

billion.

The cost of finishing the,

what is it now?

I guess it's 2,000 miles, 1,800 miles, would be about 7 billion.

So actually Donald Trump could say Mexico paid for the wall by their remittances.

There's going to be all sorts of problems.

Who gets tax?

If you're a U.S.

citizen, can you send money to Mexico without a remittance tax?

And if you could, will people use you as a third party?

It's a mess.

Yeah, it sure is.

But it will threaten Mexico.

Mexico knows what they're doing.

And you know what?

They have for so long called us racist, Yankee imperialists, interfering in their business, why they send in people by the millions illegally into the United States.

They send in drugs.

They do all of these things.

And then they always go back and scream and yell that they're a victim and they're

victims of neocolonialism, neo-imperialism, as if we're Hernan-Cortez and we just landed at Veracruz.

You know what I mean?

Sorry, it doesn't work anymore.

It doesn't work anywhere.

Trump's saying to the whole world, don't do it.

We don't care.

Hamas, let go of the hostages.

If I were you, I'd let them go.

You can, guiltish, you can get all of your expatriates and you can occupy the Manhattan Bridge.

You can chase everybody.

It doesn't mean anything.

We're going to be pretty tough with you.

You don't know what we're going to do, but you won't like it.

They know that.

They know that Trump is not like a previous politician.

He can say tomorrow, I want to stop all visas visas from countries that support terrorism.

And he did that before.

And he can send back every single student from the West Bank or Gaza on a student visa.

And I guarantee you that if he does that with 200 of them, the campuses will be absolutely quiet.

They have a right to protest.

It's a free country.

They can say whatever.

They can even say from the river to the seas, but they cannot deface property, federal cemeteries, the White House wall, shut down the San Francisco Gate and Bay Bridge.

They can't do that.

Prevent students from going on

and chase Jews into the library.

If you do that, you don't have any right to be here.

And no other president would say that, but he will.

So he knows that.

And that's why people, this is a long, windy answer.

Why are people going to Augo?

And the short answer is they know what they have been doing.

And they have been taking the American people for advantage.

They do it through trade.

They do it through rhetoric, they do it through immigration, they do it through drugs, they do it through terrorism.

And

this administration will say,

not this pig.

No nick porkus.

It's not going to work.

And that's why they're terrified.

Which is wonderful.

So, but Victor, I think.

But what people voted for him.

Yeah, absolutely.

Something about Trump that the left never understood, that they never explained why a so-called selfish billionaire that's been married three times, that had a colorful, if not controversial, life, appealed to the middle classes.

This wasn't Ava Perrone type of populism.

This was a genuine, when he was at that

McDonald's window and that Indian American guy went by, mentioned that before, and he said, I'm not,

he said, I'm just an ordinary.

You're not ordinary.

And I think his wife, and I was reminded today by a caller,

and and she said, you took a bullet for us.

And he said, I guess I did.

And there was something about him that nobody's really got to, that he has an empathy for working-class people.

And that resonated to black people.

In other words, he was saying to the inner city of Chicago or Detroit, I care more about you people than foreign citizens from Mexico.

And I'm not going to let these people come in and take your shelter, your food, your social services.

They're guest.

You are us.

And that resonates.

He's saying the same thing to Mexican-American communities.

You are the most impacted.

Don't believe this bi-coastal elite.

They're at Martha's Vineyard.

They're at Presidio Heights.

They're in Malibu.

When these people come from the border, they gravitate to Spanish-speaking constituencies.

They go into your schools and you don't have AP anymore.

You have bilingual education.

Your kids don't get a competitive education.

They go after your children that don't speak Spanish and call them gringos.

They try to enlist your kids to be part of the cartel.

Yeah, they bring crime to your neighborhood.

They do.

They do.

And they bear the brunt of it.

And the Mexican-American community is saying, not this pig.

We're not going to do it anymore.

We don't care if you call us all sorts of names.

We're not just going to sign up for a bunch of wealthy democratic elites who use us as cannon father.

in addition to what's going on or the people showing up at Mar-a-Lago, and you mentioned Trump threatening Hamas, but all of the things that seem to be changing even before Donald Trump gets in, I thought were interesting this week.

That Ukraine announces it will cede territory to, or it's willing to cede territory to Russia,

and that he was invited to Paris for the inauguration of the refurbished Notre Dame, which seems strange to me because you would think that the American president would go, but Biden was off in Angola.

And I was wondering some thoughts on that.

Why don't they invoke the Logan Act?

Because they destroyed Michael Flynn's life by saying that he was trying to conduct a foreign policy with the Russians before he was formally inaugurated.

It's 18th-century statute that I think two people have been charged and no one has ever been convicted of or even tried, maybe charged, but not fully tried.

And they did that against Michael Flynn.

Donald Trump has torn up the Logan Act, hasn't he?

He's acting as if he's the president and not because of his own volition.

The world sees him as the president.

I said on Fox last night,

I was right in the middle of answering something by Sean and

an off-topic thought came into my head.

And I said, it's like the left is saying the game is up.

We're not going to talk about the Logan Act.

We tried to...

There was assassination attempts.

Two left-wing people tried to shoot him.

And

we tried to take him off the ballot in 16 states.

We tried to impeach him.

We tried to try him as a private citizen.

We had five civil and criminal suits.

We spent $5 billion in two campaigns to destroy him.

We couldn't do it.

And now everybody hates us, and Joe Biden's got 30.

We don't want to run anymore.

We don't want to rule.

So we can't say that Donald Trump shouldn't take over.

We want him to take over because we're scared of the Frankenstinian monster we created.

Frankenstein, and this monster that we thought would be a valuable, I don't know, puppet facade veneer for our hard left, it didn't work anymore.

So they're saying, Trump, just come in and help us, save us.

take Taiwan or intimidate the Japanese or Australian with a role?

Nah, Trump's coming in.

We don't know what he's going to do.

He has a long memory.

We might get away for the short term, but the United States, even in its decline, is still pretty powerful, and the guy's going to build it back up.

And we don't know, we have no idea what he's going to do.

Zelensky has no idea.

The reason Zelensky said finally what everybody knew he was going to say, in other words, Vladimir, you stole our Donbass and Crimea, but you know what?

They have a checkered and disputed history, and we were always going to give it back to you if you would go back to your 2022 demarcation point.

If you do that, you can tell the Russian people you went to war to institutionalize the Crimea, to institutionalize the Donbass, to

Make sure we weren't in NATO.

And that was worth this war.

And we're going to say to our people, we stop you from taking the whole country.

I'm just tired of a million and a half, dead, wounded, and killed.

That's what's going to happen.

But the reason he couldn't do that with Biden,

he never knew what Biden would do.

In other words, if he said to Biden, I'm going to make this deal now to Putin, he would think then,

well, the guy is so weak and unhinged.

He might say,

he might meet Putin and Putin might say, well, I want the Donbass and Crimea.

Yeah, but I thought about it and maybe I want another half of Mimea and he might agree with it.

Or he might go to war.

Who knows what he's going to do?

I don't mean that in the good sense of unpredictability like Trump, but I mean in the demanded sense, that he wouldn't keep his word or he wouldn't care.

And I say that not because of venom or political bias, but because the record.

When this whole started, he came into office and he put weapons deliveries that had been approved by Trump, the evil Trump, on hold.

He didn't deliver them to,

he delayed them to Ukraine.

And then when Putin started mounting troops, and why did he mount them?

Because of the Afghanistan debacle.

Putin said, any president that would allow $50 billion to be handed over for terrorists and then flee, he won't do anything.

So then...

But what did Biden do?

They asked him, what would you do if

Vladimir Putin is mounting troops on the board?

Well,

it depends on whether it was

major or minor, offensive, major or minor, major or minor.

And then when it happened, he did the first thing he said,

called up Zelensky and said, you want to fly him out?

It's almost like he said, hey, we're experts at fleeing the battlefield and getting out of political theaters.

We can do in Afghanistan for you.

We'll just fly you out like we fled.

It was just pathetic.

And that's why Zelensky didn't trust him.

He might have liked him more than Trump, but at least with Trump, he feels that there's some power there and there's some deterrence that he can work with.

Yeah.

So, my interpretation of this, Victor, and I'll tell you the two sides.

So, the left has got an internal critique going on.

And there are those on the left who say extremist groups took over and our agenda ended up not reflecting the general population in the United States.

The other side seems to be saying that all of those extremist movements that people are talking about were the extreme fringe and were never reflective of the real Democratic Party.

And so they have a sense of denial in their thing.

And those are the two positions I see in this.

We've got to rethink ourselves.

There's no two positions.

The Democratic Party is dead.

It's been hijacked, and it's run by

the Silicon Valley left-wing billionaires, not the reformist Silicon Valley.

Hollywood, the George Clooney who got rid of Joe Biden, and in the political sphere, the donor class, Wall Street left-wingers and Silicon Valley left-wing trillionaires.

But the main political nexus of the party is, and we know the people, it's Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren,

the Black Caucus, the Latino caucus, the squad, Hykemb Jeffries, Pelosi lurking around, Shroomur.

These are transactional people.

They'll be anything.

But they're hard left now.

And then

in addition to them, there is the king and queen of the Democratic Party.

Iraq and Michelle, and they're left wing.

And they

look at the Biden administration as saying, we couldn't do what he did because everybody thought we were socialist.

But we used old Joe Biden from Scranton and we faked and fooled the American people and we pushed down their throat a third Obama term that was harder left than our first two.

And he didn't even know what he was saying.

But he served a useful purpose.

The only problem with Joe Biden is he collapsed completely the last year.

That's what the Democratic Party is.

So when they ask this, when they're engaged in this autopsy, self-reflection, it's not self-reflection.

Listen to them.

They will say, it's the messaging.

Listen to Jim Saki.

It was the messaging.

We should have gone on Joel Rogan.

We shouldn't have paid Al Sharpton.

We should have had more press comp.

No, no, no, no, no.

It was a mandate.

I don't care what the popular vote is.

The popular vote was somewhat close because you had $2.5 billion

and 95% of the media coverage and you still lost.

Any normal campaign, if you hadn't have gone after Trump with lawfare and all of that media negativity and all that money, it would have been a wipeout.

And why do I say that?

Because on every single issue, the border.

Crime, the social DEI woke, trans issues, deterrence abroad, the foreign policy disasters, energy, Green New Deal, illegal immigration, all of it together, and especially the economy and hyperinflation.

You didn't even poll 40% on most of those.

So that is their problem, and they won't change.

And they won't change because they look at and they say to themselves, well, yeah, Victor, but

we were like that in 2020,

and we won.

Because you know why?

We figured out how to switch all of the balloting from 30% 30% absentee to 70%.

And then we got in because you stupid people didn't know what we were doing with ballot harvesting, ballot curing.

The rejection rate plunged on the ballots.

And we got the laptop disinformation.

We controlled social media to suppress news.

And then we got to the midterm and we didn't change.

We were just as hard left.

We went, remember we leaked that Will versus Wade and then we got that decision and we went abortion, abortion, abortion, abortion, abortion, abortion.

And then for insurance, we remember the gas was high so we drained half of the Petroleum Strategic Reserve.

And when that wasn't enough, we said we were going to give amnesties for marijuana, but especially student loans.

And that got us, we survived the red wave.

Then 2024 came.

Again, the message hasn't changed.

Hard left, unacceptable, unpopular.

And 24, we thought, well,

we're going to have a coup and get this demented candidate out that served his purpose.

He's no longer useful for our agendas, so we'll just discard him and we'll say to 14 million primary voters, see, you wouldn't want to be you, we don't care about you.

We that are party of democracy.

We nullified 14 million people's vote.

Had a coup, got rid of Joe, put her in.

That was cool.

Gave her two and a half billions with PACs and things.

Kept her away from the six weeks, no press conferences, no interviews.

That's how they think.

And then we're going to say to her, now listen,

we pulled this off in 2020, we pulled it off in 2022.

You do not, Camela,

you do not ever go on record as supporting any of these unpalatable issues.

So listen, you're fracker now.

Remember that?

You've never opposed fracking.

Well, I did.

I said, yeah, I would never, no, no, no, no, no.

You never oppose fracking.

You have to say, repeat after me, the border is secure.

The border is secure.

You were never barters, borders are.

Remember that.

Now, you blame the Republicans.

They are open borders.

They didn't want to go for the bipartisan scam.

You remember that?

Now remember, you said bidenomics

were working.

So you now say, we know prices are high, but this, they've gone down.

You don't ever talk about cumulative prices.

Abroad, you say that you want to ceasefire and that Israel is committing all this carnage because that's where the party is.

We can't hide that, even though 65% of the American people, but we can finesse that.

But then you lie.

You say you're for Israel.

Now you suspend bomb shipments to Israel, but you also say you're for Israel.

And as far as crime, crime is going down.

In other words, it's gone so high that if it went any higher, you would have complete civilizational implosion.

So it has tapered off of its steadily high historic marks, but you say it's gone down.

It's gone down.

Oh, you were never for EV mandates.

Come on, remember that.

You go to all these Michigan auto workers, Penn people.

You tell the frackers and Penn you're for them.

You tell the EV people you're not for them in Michigan.

You're for gas engines.

And that's what you do.

And we can win this with all our money and our meeting.

That's what they thought.

And underlying all of that is absolute contempt for the voting population.

They are so stupid they will never know.

But they found out they were wrong on that.

Well, I mean, it's not that you think that or I think that.

That's what Barack Obama literally said to those black campaign workers.

They said, well, you know, sometimes I just think that, you know, you don't really know it, but you're voting.

You're not for Harris because she's black and she's a woman, maybe.

You're just kind of falling into that trap and you don't know what she's done for you.

And then I heard there was someone on the radio today, well, we lost because Jin Saki didn't tell people all the good things that Donald Trump,

all the bad things that Donald Trump did, but all the good things.

They just didn't understand what Joe Biden had done.

I'm thinking, well, was it the 30% cumulative increases in staple prices since he took office?

They didn't understand.

Oh,

it was that you called Donald Trump Hitler and he was on Palatable and the next day you were shaking hands with him?

Is that what they didn't understand?

So they all did that.

And it was all based on an elite, bicostal, credentialed, educated class.

Unfortunately, I spent most of my life with them.

I'm looking back now at the age of 71.

I said, what happened to you, Victor?

I mean, I have no,

I love classical languages, and I spent eight years, undergraduate, and graduate, mastering Greek and Latin.

I still read it, and I love that, and I love students.

I was teaching, but my God, I associated with these people, and I had to be with them.

And they are the most disdainful of the middle class.

And then I had the other misfortune, I'm playing victim now.

Wait, you're talking about the faculty that you were

cursed with.

Well, I've taught at a lot of different universities visiting them permanent, but

and then I was also cursed that I, every week,

for four years, I went over to the coast to UC Santa Cruz, came back.

Four years went over to Stanford, came back.

And then I was two years a visitor at Stanford as a professor at the Center for Behavior, Came back.

And then I've been 21 years at Stanford.

And I'm talking about coming back every 10 days or every week.

So then I got a dose of reality.

So it was schizophrenic.

It was like,

Richard, what are you going this weekend?

You know, I just walked with, wow, you know, I just, wow.

And then I'd come back and say,

hey, Victor, hey, why don't you help me

weld this plate on the fence over here?

And hey, Victor, get on that tractor and go five acres before before you can.

And people were normal.

They were hardworking.

And you kept saying, why am I not with these people?

They're normal.

Turns out the American people are the nicest,

most

industrious people in the world.

You get up at four in the morning, and the highways are

clogged with commuters, they are hardworking.

They're generous, and you have this contempt for them by this smug, degreed, credentialed mediocrity.

That's what they are.

They're mediocre.

None of those people.

If you took any trucker in the San Joaquin Valley and you gave me just three years, I could teach them to be a professor.

If you took any of those professors and put them in a truck driving class, they would wreck the truck in the next week, as soon as they went to jail, and they'd kill people.

I can't say anything about that because I would probably wreck the truck as well.

Well, the point is that

when you look back at your life, I've been very blessed.

But

the hardest part of it was being with this class every single day and listening to this.

You know what I mean?

It's almost very predictable.

And when election, I was on the Stanford campus during election day and it was like...

Are they going to have the chocolate chick cookies or the toys to pet when they lose?

Are they going to call them Hitler or Mussolini?

You know what I mean?

It was just so predictable.

Yeah.

Well, Victor, we are at a break and the end of our show.

And I have one comment from your website and on your Mexico article.

And it's actually titled No One Important.

So thank you, No One Important.

But this is what No One Important has to say.

They've bought off plenty of American politicians as well, the Mexican government.

It is said that the cartels own El Paso and many other towns in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and even further north.

As for corruption, this is what I was taught as a child.

But looking at our government, I have to wonder which country is more corrupt.

Though ours is from the top primarily, while Mexico's is on the street level.

Yeah, that's a good point.

I've never had a policeman take a bribe.

I've been pulled over, but I've never had a highway patrolman.

They're very professional.

They've never said to me, could you give me a hundred bucks?

Yeah.

But we have it at the high level as well, as Mexico does.

They have it at both levels.

But he's not ordinary.

If I could paraphrase Donald Trump.

You're not just nobody.

Oh, that's nice.

I think Odysseus said he was Utes, nobody.

When he said Cyclops said, who's put my eye out?

And Odysseus had said, utes, no one.

And so everybody, and they said, Cyclops, can we help you?

Who took your eye out?

Nobody did.

Perfect.

Yes.

He's not nobody.

Everybody's somebody.

They sure are.

And we're thankful for all of our listeners out there.

We're thankful for Ohoi Paloi, the middle classes, all the working classes, all the people who are not the working classes, but understand them and support them.

Yeah.

We're not just going to, not just middle class.

There's a lot of.

The last thing I'll say, I've met so many people who you would say were extremely wealthy and credentialed, and yet they're not part of that class.

They're very humble people, they're very hardworking, they've been very successful, but they retain a sense of humility.

I could mention hundreds of names of people that I've been fortunate to meet.

A lot of them are supporters of the overseers at Hoover.

I always like to talk to them.

I never talk to them about politics.

I always ask them,

What did you do?

And

sometimes they reveal how they were successful, and it's always they came up with an idea for a product or they worked weekend.

They were very hardworking and they were very creative and they contributed to the welfare of all of us.

So it's very interesting to listen to them.
