If you're a homeowner, you need to listen to this.

In today's AI and cyber world, scammers are stealing your home titles and your equity is the target.

Here's how it works.

Criminals forge your signature on one document, use a fake notary stamp, pay a small fee with your county, and just like that, your home title has been transferred out of your name.

Then they take out loans using your equity and even sell your property and you won't even know what's happened until you get a collection or foreclosure notice.

So, when was the last time you checked on your home title?

If your answer is never, you need to do something about it right now.

And that's why we've partnered with with Home Title Lock so you can find out today if you're already a victim.

So Victor Kamala Harris did several interviews.

So she's gotten out on the interview circuit and it seems like Obama,

I saw an article that said Obama encouraged her in a harsh way to do this.

But there were two interviews where she,

as usual, made some pretty bad blunders.

And the first one was that 60 Minutes interview with Bill Whitaker, where

he asked her if she would change anything

that she had done on the border.

That was the big one.

And he even gave her the inroad to say it was a mistake.

He said, do you think there were any mistakes made in opening the border so wide?

And on the view, she was asked if she would change anything in the administration, the Biden administration.

And she said, no, I can't really think of anything I would change.

And I was wondering if he had to reform the characteristics.

Well, as I said before, she's in a damned if you do and damned if you don't do move

because she's just said that she had been turning the page.

She's the change.

I told Jack mentioned that.

And what can she say?

I'm turning the page.

And three and a half years later, I can't think of one thing that I wouldn't go do again.

So I'm not the turn the page move move-forward candidate.

Everything has been great.

You like the prices?

Because everything that Joe Biden did, I was in on.

And I'm not going to criticize him.

Yeah, but he did give her the opportunity to say, well, you know, maybe

there are deaths in Afghanistan.

We could have done something that would have prevented that.

Yes, but she doesn't trust him because there's no filters on him.

And Joe Biden is furious.

So that if she even gives any suggestion that she is distancing himself self or recorrects the narrative or whatever, then you start to see Joe Biden starting to say things like,

I'm going to put a Trump hat on.

Yeah, I'll put it on.

Trump hat.

Or, I don't know, Ron DeSantis is doing a great job down there in Florida.

I know that.

So, you know, that's what he's doing.

There's a lot of articles out there saying that he is, they feel like he's trying to undermine.

Yeah, so she's very careful not to get him angry.

On the other hand, if she doesn't separate separate herself and she goes like she thinks she's doing, toes a line, then she's responsible for this dismal.

He is the real clear politics approval rating is 41%.

Yeah.

So does she want a 41% rating?

No.

So what does she do?

She talks to one audience and says one thing and one the other, just like she does about her.

She doesn't want to get progressive.

Say, she's sold out.

She's just moving to the center.

So I'll move to the left and then I'll move to the center, and then I'll move to the left, and she just doesn't know who she is.

And that's why she is starting to wicked Jack corrected me, wicked wick of the East or Wicked Wicked.

Wicked Witch of the West.

Yes, she

got water thrown, and she's melting, and she doesn't know how to stop it.

And they're in panic mode.

Today,

Quinn Piak,

which is a left-wing poll, had Trump four points up.

According to CNN and Nate Silver's statistics, when you look at the correlation between the popular vote and the Electoral College vote,

when

the poll showed Donald Trump two points ahead in the national vote, if that should happen, then it's a landslide.

But you're basically talking about two points difference in the actuality in 2016 and the actuality in 2020.

So he could be six points up in Michigan.

And

that's why they're calling for more debates.

CNN.

Let's have another, and they don't understand human nature at all.

Thucydides in the third book of his history makes a great statement about the revolution at Coursera, when one faction

gets in power and they destroy all the institutional

rules and regulations and humanity and then they fall out of power.

And he says, that is what happens in revolutions.

That's what happens when people foolishly destroy the institutions thinking they will never have to have refuge in them.

So what did they do?

They took the first debate and they said, we're going to break precedent.

Now, no debates ever happened before the candidates were nominated or

before the conventions have met.

But we need this because we need to put a stress test on Joe Biden.

So we're going to bait Donald Trump in Clint Eastwood style and say, hey, you chicken, are you going to do do a June 27th debate?

And he fell for it.

And ta-da.

Biden was removed and Trump's wide lead vanished.

Then the second one, they said, we're not doing it on Fox.

We're not doing it on Fox.

That's what Kamala Harry.

We're going to do it on ABC.

And so they did the Muir Davis interview, and that was a setup.

Forget about the rumors that she had some type of access.

I don't know if that's true to some of the questions or the drift of the questions, but the main point is

they pick questions, abortion, climate change, all of that stuff for like a t-ball for her to swing at.

And then in addition to that,

they followed up on Trump.

You didn't answer the question, President Trump.

Can you follow that up?

They didn't do that once to her.

And then they fact-checked him entirely the whole evening and their fact-checks.

So they destroyed that genre.

Then they went to the CBS and you'd think they would not do it again.

And they did it worse because they had promised not to fact-check.

And that's exactly what they did, and they fact-checked wrong.

So, my point is, now she's asking for another debate.

Donald Trump is not stupid.

He'd have to be out of his mind to go back into that genre when, on three occasions, they used it, warped it, destroyed the traditions just for short-term political gain.

And that's where she is now.

He's not going to debate.

Why would he?

And he's not going to go on CBS.

Why would he?

When

When

last time he did it in 2020, they asked him all these questions and he got in that discussion about the laptop and he said it's genuine.

The FBI has it.

He was absolutely right.

And they said, no, there's no evidence.

And 51 intelligent.

They lied and they've never apologized.

So he said, when you apologize, I'll think about it.

So they destroyed that, and now they want it, is what I'm trying to say.

They want it.

Just like they thought the blue wall was wonderful.

Blue wall, they made the term up, not anybody else.

There can never be an election because before you start voting, you have California, Illinois, New York, and then you've got the blue wall of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

And then Trump destroyed it and it was, let's get rid of the Electoral College.

We've got to get rid of it.

Like adolescence.

Adolescence.

And so she's in a quandary now because

She hasn't identified, she can't identify herself because she has a further left voting record than Bernie Sanders.

And you know what happened to Bernie Sanders in 2020.

They 86 him right off the stage.

So she can't be who she is.

She knows the border is unpopular.

67% of the people don't agree with her policies.

She knows that staples have gone up 20 to 30 percent.

She knows Afghanistan's a disaster.

She knows they blew up the Middle East.

She knows it crime.

And she knows that she's on record on everyone.

Wow,

what a crazy idea.

I want her to fund the police.

No deportion, no deportation, no deportation.

Remember Channel?

Every one of those, she was emphatic.

So she got what she wanted, and now she's running for president and she's scrambling in 90 days.

And her advisors sit around every night and say, you know, one more day.

We got to cross off one more day.

Only 28 more.

We've evaded this interview and that interview and you flip this and flip that and you squirmed out of that.

And they thought they were smarter than half.

They thought they were so cute.

And meanwhile, the American people are just sitting here, you know, I'm working all day.

Hey, I'll turn on the TV for five minutes.

Wow,

she doesn't know what she's saying.

Wow, that here, this Waltz guy is a really nice guy.

Wow, he lied about his sergeant major class, he lied about in vitro fertilization, he lied about carrying a weapon, he lied about going to China 30 times, now it's 15, he lied about being in Teneman Square, he lied about getting Nebraska.

What does he not lie about?

I don't know.

He's a pathological liar.

And then they said, J.D.

Vance, cat women, cat women, cat women, cat women.

Well, I just saw him on TV.

He's a nice guy.

What were they talking about?

You know, then the hurricane.

The hurricane comes, and

she's shaking down celebrities.

And she's never called...

any governor one time as vice president.

And that was what DeSantis wasn't demagoguing.

He said, I am too busy trying to save lives.

She's never called me for any other hurricane until she wants to get a photo op with me.

I'm not going to do it.

And Biden was asleep at the beach.

Trump had a good line.

They asked him, does Biden do anything better than you?

He said, he sure sleeps a lot better.

And he does.

And so they just thought, you know what?

These are East Palestinians.

East Iowa,

Ohio Palestinian.

East Palestine, Palestine, Ohio.

Ohioans, whatever you want to call them.

Noble people that were done a grave injustice.

And then the administration, whether it's Biden or Harris or Pete Buttigig, it's ha ha, deplorables, chomps, crazies, hobbits, irredeemables, deplorables.

We're kind of, we're kind of, we'll get there.

Yes,

we're going to get there maybe, sort of, kind of.

And they didn't do it.

And so the first four or five days, they looked at the map and they thought, two things.

These are rural hillbillies up in the mountains of the Carolinas, Georgia, northern Georgia.

Then they thought, you know, they're kind of red voters anyway.

If it's kind of disruptive, well.

And then they just sat for five days.

And then they thought, oh my god, we're looking at the internal polls.

People are angry.

We're getting killed even on the network news.

There's all these volunteers who are doing a great job and there's bodies in trees.

And we're raising money and telling jokes on TV and going on crazy perverted sex podcasts.

You know, this is bad optics.

And then they got together and they said, Camilla, you got to get a photo out.

So she did the plain thing and they forgot to plug in the phone and her earplugs.

That was fake.

And then the papers that she was shuffling as if she was looking at, you know, strategic ways and they were all blank.

It was all fake.

And then Biden came in like, Mr.

Get Off the Grass and they said, What are you doing?

I have got it on the phone for two hours.

And then, I was on the phone for two hours again today.

Two hours.

He gave four hours in the first four days of his time.

So it blew up in them.

So what I'm doing is I'm recounting all of the nimbus clouds that are hovering in their sky.

You know what I mean?

And now they're forming a perfect storm.

And she is bleeding, bleeding, bleeding.

And now they're saying, debate, debate, debate, debate.

We'll get good.

We promise, we'll get good moderators.

They'll be fair this time.

No, you've you've cried wolf too many times.

And, oh, now,

misinformation, disinformation, misinformation.

They're saying that we didn't do things.

That's disinformation.

Hey, Corinne, next press conference, just storm off on Peter Doosey.

Storm off.

We'll do that.

Get the talking points out to MSNBC.

Get Scarborough to say disinformation.

No, no, no, no.

The jig is up.

We've listened to you guys.

We've learned all about laptop, the authentic laptop.

And you said, disinformation, disinformation, disinformation, disinformation.

And that helped win the, not this pig, non-hick pork.

They're saying the same thing about people criticizing their FEMA.

They do, but we've heard it before.

It's exactly what they said about the laptop.

It's Russian disinformation.

Don't let them spread disinformation and misinformation.

And then they said the same thing about Scott Atlas.

And he's spreading disinformation that these lockdowns may not be useful.

And

they created all that.

And so now they're trying to use it again.

And nobody's listening.

Everybody thinks they screwed up because they did.

And, you know, and then there's Ron DeSantis.

It's just, he gives a press conference.

And the next thing you know, you've got 5,000 statistics of helicopters and trucks and water and food.

And he's got a photographic memory where they are.

And he's perfectly calm.

All the people are there.

And his team is, and they want in on it.

And then they got Biden, you know, who's passive-aggressive, and he said he's doing a great job.

Camilla, no need to call, no need for a photo op.

He's doing, and so he bit back at her, DeSantis did.

So they are in freefall.

And I would not be surprised to see if the polls show further deterioration.

I've been saying this.

I'm not saying that I'm going to be right.

But I have said in this podcast 10 times, this reminds me of 1980 when I was a young little kid in my 20s in graduate school.

And I came home and I told my Democratic parents, I can't vote for Jimmy Carter.

And he's losing, losing, losing, losing.

They said, no, Victor, look at the polls.

My mom said, my dear mom, I don't even want to disagree with her because I have such positive memories of her.

I shouldn't say positive, wonderful, but she said, look at the Gallup poll.

It was in mid-October.

37 to

47 to 39.

47 to 39.

Carter to Trump.

Carter to Trump.

And then I said, mom, he's going to lose.

All he does is wine, wine, wine.

And he calls Reagan crazy.

He says, Reagan has no, he's going to blow up the world.

Da, da, da.

And then they look at the Iranian, day 441, 40 and 41.

And he said, well, you know, we're not, you know,

he was appeasing them.

And then there was Reagan.

He was just,

there you go again.

Mr.

Reagan, do you think you'll cause a world war to get the hostages back?

There will be no hostages hostages when I'm president.

What do you mean by there will be no hostages when I'm president?

And he was cool as a cucumber.

And he won by almost nine points.

I'm not saying the Gallup poll was accurate, that he was that far behind.

But he absolutely blew up his campaign.

And the same thing happened in 88.

Same thing happened with Mike Dukakis.

I'm not an ideologue.

I'm Mr.

Professional.

It's competence, not ideology.

He never really said anything.

And they just redefined him as Willie Horton and Mr.

Tank and the Boston Harbor and all the other commercials.

And he went from 17 ahead to a last-minute blow-up.

And he lost by about,

I don't know,

I think George Bush got 51% of the vote and he got about 45 or something.

So my point is that I think she is in free fall.

When a candidate is in freefall, if they don't arrest it very quickly, it's

for Trump to be ahead

four points in Michigan.

I know, that's crazy.

Yeah, two points in Wisconsin?

That means he's, and you know, they probably thought, well, we'll give her Pennsylvania, because Pennsylvania usually polls better for Trump than Michigan and Wisconsin.

Yeah, exactly.

So I don't believe he's down two on that same poll.

So

I've talked to people that have access to internal polls with the Trump people, and they say it's it's astounding.

Yeah.

Their internal polls, what they're showing.

And that's why Trump, what did Trump say today?

In Trimple's typical Trump, we're going to go to New Jersey.

We're going to go.

Hey, we'll go.

We're going to go to New Jersey.

Hey, we're going to go to New York.

We'll win New York.

He's not going to win New York.

We're going to go to Minnesota.

And he's just trying to rattle their cage.

And he would be stupid to go to those places.

But he, because he'll probably lose, get very close.

He'll probably lose him by three or four points.

But unless he can get some big billionaires there, it might be worth the go.

But they're in free fall and they can't,

damned if they do, excuse my language, damned if they don't,

put her out there and put her in those T-ball interviews.

She can't do a T-ball interview.

But the more she can't do it, they say, look, she's not doing them because she can't.

Well, I can.

I'll do one with Bill Whitaker on CBS.

Oh my God,

why did they let me do this?

You kind of feel sorry for her when you look at her eyes.

When she starts these questions, her mind goes blank.

You know what I mean?

Like, she just goes,

can you think of

how you would implement your economic policy, the detail?

And it's like,

for the first second, it's, oh my God, I have no mind.

I can't think.

And then it's, but what did I do in my past when I was in situations like this?

Ah, yes.

Choice A, the the cackle.

Choice two, I batted my eyes and flirted.

I'm good at three, I acted like a little kid.

So your listeners know Victor was batting his eyes.

And then I acted like a little kid.

Yeah, it doesn't work in that.

It doesn't work.

Kamala,

you're getting near 60.

The jig is up.

You know what's going to happen?

I hope so, but when it's going to happen, the right, you know, they play by the Marcus Queensbury rules.

They loved it.

The Republican establishment, they're so funny.

They love to lose nobly, and they hate to win ugly.

So when McCain loses,

I did the good fight.

I didn't ever say Barack Hussein, Obama.

I corrected people who did.

And then when Romney,

you put a dog on your, he put a dog on his car, he hays somebody at 16, his wife has an

elevator, all that stuff came out.

He didn't pay his taxes.

Then Harry Reid goes, it worked, didn't it?

He didn't talk to the garbage man.

He didn't talk to the garbage man.

He never got mad.

They hijacked.

He never said, hey, wait a minute.

Remember they did that with Reagan in that primary?

They said, that'll be enough, Mr.

Reagan.

He said, I, and they tried to cut his microphone.

He grabbed it and said, I'm paying for this.

And he was.

And so my point is that Romney could have got angry at Candy Crawley.

He could have just,

but they don't do that.

It's, well, I'm going to play golf tomorrow.

I'll look at my investments, and I'll

maybe double down on that capital gains

tax proposal cut that I did.

And I think I can get 46,

45 points.

And I can lose

within five.

So

I'll be really noble.

I'll be so happy, and we got rid of that crazy Lee Atwater that won last time by being so mean.

We ran a campaign where we had no Willie Horton ass.

And then, meanwhile,

they just demonize them.

They smear them.

They slander them, and they just take it.

And that's how they do it.

And then you get this Trumpian figure in there.

He reminds me of the guy in Aristophanes' play, The Sausage Seller.

He's really crude, and he just keeps attacking these

pompous demagogues.

They keep saying you smell and you're a sausage seller, and he just makes fun of them.

He doesn't care.

He'll win ugly.

And that's what he's doing.

Yep.

Well, Victor, I'd like to remind our listeners that T2T, or Tunnel Towers Foundation, is at the heart and the number one refuge for veterans and first responders and their families.

Christopher Chambers enlisted in the U.S.

Navy and later graduated from SEAL training.

He was conducting a nighttime raid on a ship that was illegally transporting advanced lethal aid from Iran to the Houthi forces in Yemen when he was reported missing.

Facing eight-foot swells, the U.S.

Navy Special War Warfare Operator First Class lost his life with another service member.

Christopher was 37 years old.

He left behind a wife and a young daughter.

The Tunnels to Towers Foundation provided Christopher's family with a mortgage-free home.

The foundation honors the legacy of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and are catastrophically injured while serving our country and our communities.

The foundation is working to eradicate veteran homelessness by providing housing assistance and services to those in need.

Tunnels to Towers is committed to helping America keep its vow to never forget 9-11 or the sacrifices of the greatest heroes.

Help heroes who protect the freedoms we enjoy.

Donate $11 a month to Tunnels2Towers at t number2t.org.

That's t number2t.org.

t2t.org.

And we welcome back the sponsorship of Tunnels to Towers, a great organization.

So Victor, I just want to ask you one thing after all of that discussion.

When are they going to go to, is it, I hope they say this right, DEF COM 1 and put

Donald Trump.

Is it 5?

I thought 1 is the most urgent.

Oh, yes, you're right.

You're right.

DEF CON 1.

DEF CON 1, yes.

And put Donald Trump in jail, do you think?

What's the possibility of that?

Well, Jack Smith is crazy.

He's out of control.

He's violated the DOJ's own handbook of ethical behavior that you don't

indict a major political figure or you don't further a prosecution 60 days, 90 to 60 days out.

He's been disgraced when he went after the Virginia governor Bob McConnell, and he was reversed 9-0 by the Supreme Court for trying to demonize him.

So he has a reputation that if you want to destroy a political candidate on the right, you take this Jack Smith and he'll do anything, anytime, anywhere.

He has no ethics, and he will get a conviction.

He will be overturned, but by the time he's that you overturn it, the race is over and his targets destroyed.

Who knows who Mr.

McConnell is now?

He was an up-and-coming Republican candidate until Jack Smith destroyed him unethically.

So yeah, I think, as I said, I'm really worried about a scenario in which Donald Trump wins the Electoral College.

Camilla Harris wins the popular vote, but loses the presidency.

Jack Smith then indicts,

convicts, I should say, with a biased jury, Donald Trump, and tries to put him in jail.

Joe Biden is now a doddering old fool, and she, sometime in

late November, December, the 25th Amendment, and she's president.

And she says, I won the popular vote.

He's in jail.

And the Constitution would say then J.D.

Vance,

I wouldn't even say it.

There's nothing in the Constitution that says he can't be in jail and be president.

But if there were some kind of weird court ruling, there's still J.D.

Vance was elected vice president.

And he could serve for a month or two until Trump got out.

But I don't think they would do that.

I'm not paranoid.

These people are, if you think about everybody, we have never, everything they have done is a first.

And it's all projection.

Hillary Clinton's blabbering around that, what, the First Amendment and disinformation, and you can get rid of the First Amendment.

This is a woman who used three paywalls to destroy Donald Trump with a foreign national, which was illegal, Christopher Steele.

Then we went into the Alpha Bing hoax.

Then we went into Russian disinformation.

Then we went into that fake first impeachment.

Then we impeached a president twice for the first time.

Then we tried a president as a private citizen.

Then we tried to get him off the ballot in 1916.

Then there was two assassination attempts.

Then there were five lawfarer indictments.

What have they not done?

They'll do anything.

And they don't understand that the more desperate and the more shrill they are, the more people get sick of them.

And they're, you know, I never thought in my lifetime the Republican Party would have the same number of registered voters as the Democratic Party does.

I never thought the Republican Party would be the party of the masses.

I never thought that

it's really when you read something in the New Republic and the nation, and yes, I do once in a while to see what they're thinking,

they're not even conscious anymore.

They say that he's a racist and he's very dangerous because he might get a record of Latin, a record number of Hispanics and blacks.

Stop!

He's a racist.

And the proof that he's a racist, he might get more blacks and Mexican Americans than anybody else has ever done from the Republican Party.

Now, how does that calculate?

But they don't care.

That calculates into the left doesn't know what it's talking about.

They never know what it's happening.

The people that are on the left-wing media, the only good left-wing media people are those who were me-tooed.

You know what I mean?

Or they went after.

And

then they see the light.

Garrison Keillor kind of sees the light now.

Mark Halburn sees the light because they've done it to them.

And they see,

you know, they get kind of wizened.

Yeah.

Well, Victor, let's go ahead and take a break and then come back and talk a little bit about the

Hurricane Helene and Hurricane.

what is it, Milton?

Milton, yeah.

Stay with us, and we'll be back for the hurricanes.

Welcome back to the Victor Davis Hansen Show.

You can find Victor on X.

His handle is V D Hansen.

And you can find him on Facebook, Hansen's Morning Cup.

So come join him there in the two most popular, I guess,

social media sites.

So, Victor, I was listening to all the news and there was a lot out about FEMA.

I know you mentioned that the Democrats are talking about all of the criticism of them as misinformation.

But some information has come out about FEMA that is

a little disconcerting.

And that is that FEMA has declared, and this came out in one of their internal meetings, declared they wanted to focus on, quote, disaster equity.

And of course, nobody knows what that means, but nonetheless, it's probably some sort of racially segregating thing, funds in that fashion.

And then that FEMA had billions of dollars that was going and has gone to illegal immigrants.

And I was wondering.

Well, it's fairly funny.

Who started the misinformation?

It was Alejandro Mayorkas.

He said, we're going to run out of money.

And that set everybody crazy.

And then who said Joe Biden said, well, that was $7.50 was just the

he didn't say that.

He said, we're going to give everybody $7.50.

Now, does that mean, does the average person who has no home and no water and nowhere to go to the bathroom and the president of the United States who's been asleep at the beach and the vice president's been raising money, he says he's going to give everybody $7.50?

Does the average person in extremists say, well, that's Joe Biden?

What he really means is he's going to give us $7.50 initial payment and then much, much more?

No, they don't think that.

And I don't think they really meant that.

So then, after all of this outcry and all this private help, and then suddenly they're doing a good job.

They're trying to, but it's kind of too late.

I mean, people are dead and people

are sick.

And they could have done it.

I don't know why they didn't have the FEMA people there on the ground on the first day.

I don't know why there wasn't a gigantic gymnasium right near the entire mess that was a rapid response.

And Kamala Harris just didn't sleep on a cot overnight, right, on day one.

Why didn't you do that?

And so the misinformation was started by them, and then they use it like they always do.

They just turn it around and they say, you guys are spreading information that you can't get money and you're going to make people die.

No, you were the ones that said that.

And then they said, well,

this has nothing to do with immigrants.

It all has things to do.

It's fungible.

That's like saying that we gave money to Hamas, but it was only for humanitarian purposes.

No, no, no, it wasn't.

It freed up money for food and water so they could spend the money that was intended for food and water on tunnels.

And it's all fungible.

And if you can take, if you didn't let in 10 million people, maybe 12 million, and you had banked that money in Homeland Security, then you could have diverted it for this fund.

But you're putting them in these hotels, 150 hotels in New York alone.

And they're right now in much better conditions than the people in the Carolina.

So they always do that.

They get some little technical things.

And they, you know, I don't, I, I don't, I just wish they would be honest.

I wish they would just say this.

We wanted 10 million people to come in.

We feel there's no such thing as a border.

So we got rid of it.

So then we brought people in.

And you know what?

We wanted to give them instant parity.

I know they didn't work for their

rent,

they were not paying rent.

We just gave it to them.

And we gave them upper middle class accommodations.

And we and I see them in my own environs.

And we gave them EBT cards and WIC cards.

And that's what we want to do.

And we just wanted to do it.

And

we're telling everybody you have to have a real ID, but they don't.

They don't have to really well, they can fly anywhere we want them to without ID because that's what we do.

We privilege people from another country more than we do our own citizens.

Because we don't really believe in citizenship as a unique, exceptional category.

And so just say it and make the argument.

At least Bernie Sanders says I'm a commie and I really, and you know, give credit to Walls.

He said that socialism is just being kindly to your neighbor.

He defended it and he said he loves Mao Zedong, like Anita Dung.

She was honest.

That was my hero.

But don't do it, don't feel that way and do all that and then come back and say, I can't believe you're calling me these names.

That's who you are.

You did it.

Own it.

There's no money.

I mean, there's no money in the government.

It's $37 trillion in debt and $4 billion deficit.

So just say that we don't believe in deficits or debts.

We have something called

modern monetary theory, that we alone can print money.

And money is an abstraction.

so we can just spread it around.

And the more we spread it around and print it, the more the wealthy, greedy insects who have all the money, the less that money is valued.

Because we're going to inflate the economy.

Inflation is good.

That's what they believe.

Wow.

And they're going to destroy the lives of all of those seniors on fixed influx.

They already are.

They're not going to.

I know.

I don't want to say anything, but I go to to a big food market and I see elderly Mexican-American citizens who go up and they look at a little New York flank steak and they look at it and they it's almost like they're doing an autopsy on it and then they put it back and then I people there there there's people you can tell they don't speak a word of English.

They're they're

They're here recently is what I'm going to say.

They don't have any restrictions.

They have all these cards.

And

if you would go out in the parking lot, you would not, you couldn't walk through the parking lot and say, this person is illegal and just arrived, and this person is, say,

40-year residents of hard working by the caliber of the car they're driving.

Just can't tell.

And so something is weird about this whole thing, this idea that you want to bring people in, and they have an app you can go.

You can just go from a different country, get in a hat, and get on a plane.

And I think that is happening in our local airport because I don't know why we're having flights only between one and four in the morning from

three separate non-stop cities in Mexico flights from.

Makes no sense.

I've lived here my whole life.

We never had any.

And now we have three.

And why do we have three flights?

We only have two from Los Angeles.

Can you imagine that?

Everybody in Fresno wants to go to LA or San Francisco.

There's only two flights.

And there's only one airline.

But from Mexico, there's three cities non-stop.

It doesn't make any sense.

This whole privileging of a foreign national over your own citizen.

And those people have legitimate.

And when you give people Social Security disability, and a lot of these people are on disability, you water down the system.

There's less for other people.

And if you have Obamacare and you're going to give universal health care, well, if you put 10 or 12 million people in there, as I said, 12 San Francisco's or 12 Oaklands, well, that's that's going to be fewer services.

It's just common sense.

So, just say it.

Why doesn't Joe Biden just say, well, I'm committed to open borders, and I want to give everybody a chance in the world to come here, especially the poor and the people without any substance or skills, and we're going to bring them in here to give them parity.

Now, that's going to tax our system.

It's going to cost several billion dollars, and it's going to tax.

So, some of you in your medical

experiences are going to wait longer in a waiting room.

And when you go to the ER, it's going to be a little longer.

And when you go into your dialysis clinic, there may be people from all over the world ahead of you.

But that's a small price to play for this inclusivity.

Just say that.

But don't lie to us.

This election is about a lot of things.

It's the people who lecture people and the people who get lectured.

The people who lie to you and the people who are tired of being lied to.

And so I had this.

I may be wrong.

I was wrong about the the midterm, I thought the Republicans would do a lot better in 2022, but you know, there were some October surprises, draining the petroleum reserve, leaking the Roe v.

Wade preliminary report was going to come out from the Supreme Court, and

offering to give, what, a trillion dollars in student loan forgiveness on the eve of the midterm.

That really all made a difference.

And they're going to do some stuff like that in the next three weeks.

And I hope everybody on the right is prepared.

They had a little October surprise today.

Did you see it?

What was it?

No, I didn't.

They said

Donald Trump at a summit was asked by Vladimir Putin according to an aide.

Putin was, you know, he has health problems.

So he was worried.

He was sickness.

Yes.

And he asked if he could have an American

COVID test kit or a machine that could test him or make test kits.

And Trump said yes, and then according to the aide that was there,

Putin said to Trump, Don't tell anybody you did this, because my people wouldn't care if I had if they got out that I asked America for that, but your people would.

And that was supposed to make Trump look really bad.

But it makes him look magnanimous.

And he could say, well, if a person has 7,000 nuclear weapons and he's an an archrival and he's in a position of dependency and he and a humanitarian effort might please him for a while.

It doesn't mean mean I approve of his cutthroat methods.

It might be a good art-of-the-deal negotiating.

Yeah, sure.

So I don't, but that stuff's going to come.

And then Bob, why do you think Bob Woodward released his stuff on Monday

before the election?

Oh, wait.

Bob Woodward has a new book.

And he's got all these disclosures in it,

and it's about Netanyahu, how bad Netanyahu, how they hate Netanyahu.

Oh, wow.

Okay.

This strategy, by the way, is not working with Israel.

The Biden-Harrow strategy that they get into a little room and they say, now we've got a problem.

We've got 250,000, 300,000 Muslim voters in Michigan.

We've got to win Michigan.

But

we did kind of snub Josh Shapiro.

That was kind of a mistake.

And we have a lot of Jewish donors who are kind of antsy.

And the American people are 65% to 70% in favor of Israel.

And then somebody said, well, that's easy to do.

We'll just separate Netanyahu from Israel.

So we'll say that Netanyahu hijacked the Israeli government and he's hated and we hate him.

Or as Joe Biden will leak, said, he's a SOB and he's a ethan idiot.

And that will demonize him.

And then

when we go to Michigan, we'll say,

We don't like him and we'll have the Arab American community come in and we'll say to him, Biden called him an ethan idiot and he called him an SOB.

And then when we have the Jewish community, we said, but he wasn't talking about Israel.

He likes Israel.

And they think that's going to work.

But that's predicated on everybody hating Netanyahu.

It's not predicated on Netanyahu destroying Hamas, taking out the entire hierarchy that nobody's ever done with Hezbollah, and just about ready to humiliate Iran.

So he has come back like Phoenix from the ashes of October 7th, literally, and he's done wonders.

He's Churchillian.

And he's in a positive now, barely, but he's positive in his public relations, polling in Israel and in the United States.

So that little gambit's not working.

They can't just be honest and say, you know what?

If you have any disagreement with

a leader of a foreign country that's an ally, you don't let the press know.

And you don't repeat anything.

And we just say that we are Israel's ally and we are Israel's ally when there's a Labor Party and when there's a

liquid or Conservative Party and they feel the same about us.

It transcends.

What's so hard about that?

Yeah.

Well, Victor,

I was expecting, I think a lot of us were, I heard like 80 universities that there were going to be October 7th anti-Israel protesting going on at the universities, but

they are oddly absent from any news on these.

And I was wondering your thoughts on the lack of these.

Well,

the last presidents that allowed them to get out of hand are no longer presidents.

And the alumni had a long time to digest it.

And the big post-George Floyd DEI experiment of getting rid of the SAT and going from proportional representation in terms of the profile of the incoming classes to repertory did not work.

So the faculty has had four years of people who were admitted

without a SAT score and they can't maintain the same rigor of their classes because the students aren't prepared.

And so they're not, they're restless and so the public is overwhelmingly angry at Middle Eastern students who come over here on a student visa and then abuse the friendship and hospitality that the United States shows them.

So there was zero support.

So all of these college presidents are thinking, if I let this out of hand,

I am going to either get fired or I'm not going to, I'll be like USC, they can't raise money.

USC is trying to hit everybody down, that president can't raise any money.

And I'm not just saying that because I'm a friend of Max Nakia's and he raised a ton of money and he should be president still, but that DEI stuff doesn't work.

And so I think what's happened is they were told when the school year comes back, I mean, Stanford had, I would walk across the quad for four months.

It was all illegal.

It was all contrary to Stanford rules that you can't stay overnight.

And they didn't do anything to them.

The interim president didn't.

And they were yelling horrible anti-Semitic things.

And then all of a sudden, the year thorough, I thought, wow, they're promising a nationwide October 7th.

And that's one reason.

The second reason is, every time Israel tries to reason with these people and tries to be moderate and has a ceasefire, then that magnanimity is termed weakness to be exploited and to be rebiled.

And now Israel has pretty much destroyed Hamas.

And the real polls, there was an interesting article about pollsters who have actually polled the Gazan people.

They don't like Hamas.

And then they thought, well, at least Hezbollah is indestructible and is going to kill all the Jews.

And we saw all of those films for years.

They all have those red or green black berets and they're all with beards and they're big tall guys.

They look like Napoleon's old guard.

And, you know, death to America, death to Israel.

And they had an Osralis picture, and they had all these other pictures.

They're all dead.

All the people's pictures, they're all dead.

And now nobody wants to run Hezbollah.

One guy was what?

He was the head of Hezbollah for six hours, and then he vanished.

He went up and smoked.

And so they're terrified because they know that somebody in their ranks, maybe

their brother, their mother, their sister, their wife, is talking to Mossad.

And they're talking to Mossad because they hate Hezbollah.

And Hezbollah knows they're hated and they don't

and the pagers that

they're just in shambles

and when those pagers went off there were 4,000 of them.

They didn't all kill people but one thing they did is they identified where all those people were.

It was like having a map of Lebanon and having a split second you were told where every single operative was that had the pager.

Well, most of those people had one job and that was to watch their multi-hundred million dollar inventory of rockets they got from Iran and see that you could transport them to a place to launch.

So they were either you know an apartment building like a concierge.

Don't go down to the third floor of the basement.

We've got six Scud rockets or they were in a truck with a canvas over taking it out to a suburb or a farm or they were at a launch pad.

And all that was now known to the Israelis.

And they're systematically blowing those places up.

And so the point is it's very hard to be romantic about a bunch of losers.

It's kind of like,

take a,

you know, when Mussolini, that famous picture, I've stayed at the hotel where he's out on the balcony and he's got all of these, he's announcing the

June 10th Declaration of War.

Isn't that their parliamentary building?

There's a hotel right across from it.

Yeah.

Oh, he's in the hotel right there.

That's right.

And anyway, you can't, it's just a sea of people.

And then you take, fast forward and you see he and Carlos

Petraducci, her name was, they were hanging by their ankles.

Yeah.

They can see their underwear

and they've been just tortured

and everybody's laughing at them.

Or it's like Hitler comes back from

Paris after destroying France in seven weeks and he gets to the train station in Berlin and there's about a million people.

And then he can't go out at all after, I think it's December 44.

He doesn't go out and he lives in his bunker.

Well, Hezbollah is shattered.

So nobody wants to identify with a bunch of losers that are stupid enough to have their walkie-talkies and their pagers blow up.

And then every time a person says death to America, he's blown up.

And then the Iranians keep saying, we're going to get rid of this virus, we're going to kill you, we're going to do this.

They sent 500 in two waves, April and 500 of them, 320 and 182.

And they didn't do much.

And they sent three rockets, Israel did, and they did a lot.

And Israel's going to take out all of those people.

And Khomeini, Ali Khomeini, or whatever his name is, the head of Iran,

he's in hiding.

He should be out there in a big square saying, death to Israel, death, with his AK-47.

But who wants to root for a bunch of losers?

It's like the San Francisco 49ers, when they're 10-0, you can't find anybody who's not a fan that wants to go to the game.

And now if they're 0-10 or 1-2, no, I wasn't a fan of the 49ers, they're losers.

I don't want my season tickets.

Take them.

So that's one reason why people are not protesting.

Because Hamas are losers.

They don't mind that they're killers and they're psychopaths and they don't mind that Hezbollah are brutal and they kill Americans

and they kill people as you just pointed out in

the Houthis with the Iran that was sponsored and all the Americans they killed in Iran.

They don't care about that, but they do care that they're losers.

So nobody wants to go out in the Harvard Square or the Stanford Quad and say, yes for Hamas, yes for Hezbollah.

And they say, yes, they're in a tunnel.

They're afraid to come out.

Hezbollah is being systematically destroyed.

And then you're for Iran?

They're even cowardly.

Death to Israel, the little Satan, the big Satan.

And then the third thing, of course, is the third thing

is the elephant in the room.

The left wing doesn't want this going on when there's an election coming up.

Yes, that is part of the parcel, but there's this big elephant called DJ Trump.

And they're afraid that if they go out there and they do what they did at Stanford and deface

iconic historic sandstone colonnades that have to have

poor Mexican-American workers go with little tweezers and pick the paint out meticulously while these spoiled brat kids do stuff.

Their pictures are there, their names are there, and there's no statute of limitations.

He can come in and he can just say anybody who was expelled or committed a felony and was on a student geezer, you're gone.

And he will do that.

So they're on their best behavior, some of them.

Yeah.

Because they think Trump is crazy.

They think he's crazy because he follows the law.

In today's America, that's crazy.

Yeah.

It's so funny.

I've been reading their latest campaign.

Have you seen it?

Massive deportations.

Trump is planning to deport 10 million people if he were elected.

Yeah, because you let in 10 million people, so they're going to go back.

What's worse?

Wow, Biden and they let in 10 million people illegally that swarm the country.

Yeah, so they have to go home.

But they just reversed the equation.

We let in 10 million wonderful people and we let them in.

There were a few criminals, rapists, and murderers, but you want to depart them.

It doesn't make any sense.

These people are insane.

So that's why that's a long explanation why the campuses have been a big dud so far.

Yeah, as far as those protests.

Well, let's take a break, our last break, and then come back and talk a little bit about new evidence about our Secret Service and the work they're doing as protectors of our candidates.

Stay with us, and we'll be right back.

Welcome back to the Victor Davis-Hanson Show.

So, Victor,

the House is doing investigations, and a whistleblower came forward in a letter to Josh Hawley,

and he says that the

Secret Service denied information to investigators from the Department of Homeland Security, and the whistleblower said it's because the Secret Service was not giving Trump the security he needed, even when he had been guaranteed the presidential level of security.

And they were sometimes providing it, and other times not providing it.

And I was wondering your thoughts on that.

People in the Trump campaign had been complaining about that for months.

Everybody knew it.

And I'm not saying it's conspiratorial.

I'm just thinking it's the attitude was,

I don't know, it's sort of like Boeing, huh?

You know, like the,

you know, did you get the weld on that door?

Nah, it's just boring.

We're not going to check it.

What if the door flies off?

Well, not everybody will be killed.

Who cares?

That kind of attitude.

It was kind of like, hey, shouldn't we have a drone?

Shouldn't we have a radio that we can communicate with local law enforcement?

Where's the snipers?

Whose are they?

Are they coordinating with the other people?

Do we have the perimeter secure?

Do we have our people checking everybody as they enter?

Nah, okay, it's just Trump.

He's nuts.

And the second diamond, we have

that

open spot we always worry about where a person can just park his car, walk to the chain link fin, put a rifle, and kill somebody in the third or fourth.

Ah, no, but, you know, things happen.

Come on.

That's how their attitude was.

That's what the head of the Secret Service, she was fired for that.

Or she was forced to resign, and the second second guy is not much better.

And so it's,

they've had a real bad problem.

I don't know

whom they're getting, but remember they went down, was it to Colombia or Chile, and they had all those people partying with prostitutes and stuff?

Yeah, that was under Obama.

Yeah.

But I mean, they've been doing that a lot.

Yeah.

And

the old days when those wonderful Secret Service people

You know, that were around, they loved Kennedy.

They loved Johnson.

They loved Nixon.

They loved the president.

I think some of them still do.

But there's this woke ideology in the beltway that has infected the FBI, the Secret Service, the CIA, the DOJ, the IRS.

And I don't know how you...

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the left has tried, when they have the media, they have the control of the universities, the foundations, the media, popular culture.

They've created this narrative.

that if you are a bureaucrat, even in a conservative bureaucracy, it's pretty clear that if you want to be advanced and have a career, then you have to mouth a certain shibboleth.

So if you're a lieutenant colonel and you're an aide to Congress from the Pentagon or you're in the Pentagon between deployments and somebody, you have to prepare your commanding officer for testimony before Elizabeth Warren.

You just say that, you know, there's three sexes and women that are pregnant need special airsuits.

That's what you say.

You don't care if you believe it or not.

And the other people, you go before Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley, they're pro-military.

So big deal.

They're not going to go after you.

If they do, they're still pro-military.

But these people aren't pro-military.

So you make the necessary adjustments.

And then it goes into

if you're James Baker in the FBI and you're making $175,000, then you want to work at Twitter when you retire and make $7 million.

Same thing with the defense guys,

the revolving door.

So that culture culture is all left-wing.

And

we talked about in Megan Crystal.

Stanley McChrystal got on the weekend news shows and endorsed Harris and said she was full of foreign policy experience and sober and all this.

That's the cost of doing business.

And so that ideology.

And to the credit of H.R.

McMaster, he didn't.

He wouldn't endorse anybody.

And so, I don't know.

I just think that

it's

there has to be some serious house cleaning done before.

There has to be.

Everybody demonizes the 2025 project.

And I guess one of the head author was kind of went egocentric.

But the point I'm making is they had the idea of having 25,000 people vetted because you should do what the left does.

gets everybody out.

If you don't believe me, I was a political appointment on the non-political, all of us were political appointments in the sense that a president appointed us.

But I was on the American Battlefield Monuments Commission.

It's about as apolitical as you can get.

I think it was like 72 hours after Obama was elected, I got this letter.

Turn in your passport and you're resigning immediately, effective immediately.

And the right doesn't do that.

No.

But they will now.

Yeah.

And that's what's so funny because everybody's saying

every narcissist media guy, if you notice that, he he always says he's going to be a target they're going to go after me well first of all they don't know who you are

that's true i think that when national review was going after trump he said something to the effect who is this guy who is this guy who is this guy i never heard him he can't even afford a pair of pants who are these people and they got really angry not because he criticized them He didn't know them.

He didn't know who they were.

He didn't know you either when you first got your prize from that New York.

What was it?

I can never remember that.

Was it the Gatestone or something?

No, it was the Eric Bendel News Corps.

Well nobody knew me.

It was 2003 and I just, somebody nominated, I sent essays and of course I wasn't supposed to win, but I won.

So they took me to New York.

I saw cats on Broadway.

Cool.

I had dinner with the Murdoch family.

And I had that wonderful, is it Bob McManus?

He was the managing editor of the New York Post.

He was one of the most funny, wonderful guys.

And he kind of adopted me for the day and took me around.

And then I met the Brindell family, and then they had at the Harvard Club.

And George Pataki was supposed to introduce me, and he came up and goes, I really don't know who you are.

And I'm going to make a little longer speech.

And then Giuliani was supposed to say something, and he was.

I don't know if he was trying to run for mayor again or what, but he spoke a little long.

And then they came over to me and said, you've got about three minutes.

And then they gave a silk,

really silken satin little booklet with your four columns.

Everybody had to send in four columns.

Yeah.

And there was some good, you know, I think there was a $10,000 award.

And they paid for your ticket.

I don't think I'd ever flown really first class until then.

And I got a first-class ticket.

I felt like I was king for a day.

And anyway, when I go in there, nobody was reading them.

I just remember that Andrea Mitchell was there and there was Kissinger and everybody.

And she turned to me and said, you know who won?

And I said, no, I don't.

So anyway, I think it was Trump came in.

I don't know if he was going to come.

He just came in and he said, who won?

I think he went every year.

And

I said, the guy with all those things.

But there was a whole palette of them.

Nobody wanted them.

And he said, it can't be too important because nobody wants them.

Good point.

I had never talked to him.

I had talked to him on the phone once in a while, rarely.

But he made a good point, and that is if you call, if any of these people call him, he doesn't want to talk to you if he calls you.

If you tell people that, why?

I never tell anybody.

I've never told one person publicly that he's ever called me.

I will never confirm or deny it.

But the point is, if you're a journalist, you've got to be independent.

And you know what I mean?

You don't want to go with any candidate, hang out with them.

And you don't want to have them.

I know there's kitchen cabinets and stuff.

They all do that in Washington.

But that's one of the good things of living out in the middle of nowhere.

You can't get into anybody's kitchen.

No, you can't.

Nobody wants you.

And,

you know, it's out in the middle of nowhere.

And people always say that.

Why in the hell do you live out there?

Why don't you grow up and join the big leagues?

But, you know.

That was, you brought that up about, but it wasn't about Trump so much as just this guy from Fresno State sent in on his own four columns.

I think it was in 2003 when I was writing for National Review, my second year.

And I must have had a friend on the committee.

I knew no one.

And they gave me this award.

And a couple of people came up to me that were very much better.

You know, how did you win?

Like, I should have won.

And then when it was over, this was even funnier.

I was just out in the street.

I didn't know anybody.

And it was all, everybody was going to have drinks, and I was the guy that got the award.

Nobody to have a drink.

Except that there was this older, I hope I got his name right, Bob McManus.

He was wonderful.

He came up to me and goes, let's go have a drink.

Yeah, I really liked him.

He was a wonderful guy.

He was really sweet.

And

it was,

but that New York crowd, just to see it, you know what I mean?

All this smoothie.

And this was on the Conservative.

It's a Conservative Award from New Score.

But even, gosh, it was just...

I think we were all the way back to talking about how that crowd has to be recognized.

And if you don't recognize them, that's worse than anything.

And so Trump didn't really.

Trump has the best attitude.

There's nothing that

they have that he wants.

And, you know, he doesn't want to go to the White House correspondence dinner.

He wants to be liked.

He always did want to be liked, but he doesn't want to be liked by those people.

Melania Trump, did you see Melania Trump was on,

the five?

She was wonderful.

And she's really sincere, but she's really tough, too.

And she was talking, and I think it really did.

And her book is coming out, and people are really angry.

You know, they never put her on Vogue cover.

She's very beautiful still.

She's very well spoken.

And I think she's going to be an asset in the last two weeks.

It sounds like she may come out of her cocoon and just come.

She'd be a big asset.

And they were so mean to her about her Christmas decorations decorations and everything.

She wore that jacket.

I just don't care.

Anyway, we're chatting, gossiping.

People out in the middle of nowhere in Salma, California on a farm have no business talking about things they have no idea about.

No, we don't have any idea

who these people live.

We don't live in exactly New York society.

I don't, yeah, I don't.

I'm sure there's some very nice people there.

Of course, there's some.

Some of my, I can't say some of my best friends live in New York.

But some of the nicest people I've ever met, Roger Hertog or

Rebecca Mercer or Roger Kimball, icons of the conservative movement.

They're very nice people.

When I go to New York, and it's very, very rare, believe me, I get something about that place.

It's like San Francisco today.

It's like all cities, you know that?

Anytime I go to a big city, I start getting

nauseous.

Yeah.

Well, Victor, we are at the end of our show.

So thank you so much for all of your discussion today.

It's very enlightening, as always.

And thanks to our listeners who are, of course,

without you, we're not here.

So we love you as well.

Thank you, everybody.

I much appreciate it.

I won't drift off into a stream of consciousness at the end next time.

You ambushed me, Sammy, with that

memory of 21 years ago.

And it's faulty, but I have this vague, I tried to blot it out of my memory yeah I was very grateful though that you know that they gave me an award and they gave me money and I got to go to my first Broadway play my first first class ticket yeah

well I was just trying to help remind you of what it's like not to be known yeah

yeah Donald Trump not to know you because you weren't talking about all of the I think I never even knew he just kind of it was kind of like he was walking by and he just put his head in you know what I mean

but I think in those days he must have been a Democrat.

I don't know.

Yeah, he was.

But there was a lot of Democrats.

There was a lot of media people there from CNN and people.

But there was a low turnout because it was me.

It wasn't some of the luminaries that won.

That ward was pretty prestigious.

It is.

It still is.

You said that Andrea Mitchell was there, so she's definitely part of the.

Yeah, she was there with Alan Greenspan, I remember.

Oh, that's right.

And she asked me who won.

George Fataki was funny.

He just kept talking and talking.

And he said,

he came up to me and said, I have to introduce you.

I said, I don't know.

I have no idea.

I'll just talk.

I think he was running for governor

or mayor or something.

All right.

And with that, this is Sammy Wink and Victor Davis Hansen, and we are signing off.
