Hey, welcome back. I'm so excited to share this special episode with you bringing back mic drop moments from three of your favorite solo episodes I've done.
It's time to dream bigger, take bold action, and trust that life is rigged in your favor. You'll learn how faith forms the unshakable foundation for success, why going big and investing in yourself opens doors to new opportunities, and how embracing uncertainty is a powerful catalyst for your growth.
Plus,
you'll learn the direct connection between who you surround yourself with and what manifests
in your life. I know this episode is going to get you pumped to take action and put in the
reps to unlock your next level, especially if, and set you up for a better tomorrow. That's in your seat.
I'm ready for my close-up. Okay, so today I had the opportunity to go to church, and it was the nine-year anniversary of Voo Church, which is, if you've been with me, you know I love my Voo, and you can watch Voo Church online.
Today was the nine-year anniversary. It was so cool.
My son and I have been going now for, I think, almost four years, at least three, if not four now. And we absolutely love our church.
It's incredible. But to hear our pastor walk us through that journey and hearing him talk about how nine years ago, it was him and a handful of friends sitting in his apartment, calling it a church, right? They had a vision for the future.
They had a vision for where they were going, but that vision wasn't real. They were in a little apartment room, calling it a church.
And then he walked us through how over the next year, he started to build and encourage others and the people who started it with him started encouraging others. And the next thing you know, they got a really small place at a rescue mission, which was really small and he showed us a picture.
And then a year after that, it started building and getting bigger and bigger. And they went to an elementary school and the elementary school allowed them to use their facility on the weekend so they could fit more people.
And then by the third year, they were able to get a much larger location. And then the pandemic hit and everything went to virtual.
And that's hard because you think you're going to lose some ground. But instead, they came out of the pandemic so much stronger.
They had built their online presence, their YouTube channel, their podcast, like, you know, starting to get millions of downloads. And they now secured a second location and bought a building.
They didn't own it outright, but they, you know, were making payments on it. And then a year later, they paid off the building.
And then they got another location. And then our pastor's father became ill.
And he had to step back from running his church. So our pastor bought his location.
So now there's four locations. And they also are preaching at prisons.
And like I said, online. And he just walked us through this whole trajectory from in his apartment nine years ago to now where they have four thriving locations, millions of views on YouTube, on the podcast.
You know, they're working with these prisons. I mean, there's thousands and thousands of people in Miami going to these different locations in Voo Church every single week.
And the impact they're having is incredible and massive. but he shared that if he had known how hard all this was going to be nine years ago,
he probably wouldn't have done it because it would have been too daunting a task. But instead, he would just focus on that big vision that he had for his future and that next step that he could take, not knowing what would lie ahead, but having faith that God would guide him in that right direction and that having faith that the best is yet to come.
And he shared with us today that after his father stepped back a year ago and had cancer and was going through medical treatments, that today he is healed and healthy. And it's just, it's one miracle after another.
And it just reminded me, you know, of my own journey, my own challenges. And I want you to think about yours that my gosh, of seven years ago, I'd known how hard it was going to be to build my own business and get here today.
I probably wouldn't have done it. I probably would have just said, hang it up.
I'm going to go back to corporate and, you know, figure out another job. And I'm so grateful I don't.
But to my pastor's point, finding success is a lot of work and it is a journey of highs and lows and not giving up believing in yourself and focusing on your faith and reminding yourself that you need to surrender. You need to surrender to a higher power because you're not going to have all of the answers and we can't assume that we are or blame ourselves when we don't or get locked up with fear because we don't know how to handle the uncertainty.
Instead, let go, let God, and remind yourself that the best is yet to come because it truly, truly is. And it was just such a fun journey today to go through that experience with him.
You can absolutely see, if you go to his YouTube channel, Voo Church YouTube, you'll be able to see this message. And it's a nine-year anniversary of Voo Church.
And it's just, it's such a beautiful story. And it made it so real to me that we're all going through this journey, no matter what it is, nobody has all the answers.
And yes, it's so much easier to do in community when you're in community with others that have your back, that are good people that are like-minded with you. And when you have faith and it was incredible day to day because mass was that good and and the message was that good your back, that are good people, that are like-minded with you, and when you have faith.
And it was an incredible day-to-day because Mass was that good, and the message was that good. So no matter where you are on your journey, if you're not there, oh my gosh, life is short.
Just start stepping into your passion and your purpose and know that the doors will open. No, it's not all going to be perfect.
There's going to be plenty of turbulence along the way after I just got off my flight from L.A., and there was plenty of turbulence on that flight, but turbulence is temporary, right? And we just have to have that faith that we're meant for more. We've been put here for a reason and not sure exactly how it's all going to work out, but it's all going to get better.
And I'm going to stay focused on that future cast vision of where we are going and why we are doing what we're doing. And as we do that and we move forward with faith
and we practice gratitude in all that is so good in our lives,
more goodness keeps coming in.
So wanting you to know that one of the messages I took away from this last week
was everything is rigged in my favor.
And the reality is it's all rigged in your favor too.
Just start allowing it.
Have faith that that is exactly how it's been set up for you and that the best is yet to come. So my foundation is my faith in God.
And that wasn't the case, as I just mentioned four years ago. Once you have your foundation, whatever that may be for you, but it's got to be unshakable, I believe, right? Because it didn't work as well when it wasn't.
The next thing that really came to me was this belief and this knowing, and this really goes back to God. This goes back to the Bible.
And no more fear, no more worry. For a long time, specifically during the pandemic, I was full of fear, full of worry.
It was making me physically sick, you know, losing my hair. I broke out in a rash.
It was terrible watching my son get so depressed. It was a really bad time.
What I have now, which is different is my relationship with God, which is, as I mentioned, it's just like this foundation, unshakable belief and knowing that things are going to be okay and that we're divinely being led to where we're meant to be to go. When you think like that, when you start believing that, that everything's actually rigged in your favor, that when one door closes, a better one opens, suddenly you're excited to get up in the morning, even if it is challenging in that moment, right? Like my life is far from perfect right now.
And I'm dealing with some things that are, you know, somewhat like of a headache. They look like I'm like, oh gosh, nobody could be excited to deal with that this week.
But you know what? Because I have this belief that I'm being divinely led and that I'm on the right path, that I'm living my purpose-driven life, I know things are rigged in my favor, that it is gonna be great. I just don't know how it's all going to play out.
And I'm okay letting go and living in the uncertainty. That's a huge seismic shift.
When I was younger, I like I wanted to control everything. No, that is not the answer.
I guess it's called the law of detachment. And it's about letting go.
Gosh, it's so powerful. And I just had this like incredible memory that just popped into my head.
I was spitting on a rooftop because it was during the pandemic. We couldn't be inside.
And I remember the teacher was talking about, you have to just let go, stop trying to white knuckle everything and choke everything, just let go. And that was a really scary time for me because I was letting go of a relationship.
I was letting go of fears. I was letting go of another version of myself in order to step into uncertain to try to figure out what the future held.
And that was huge for me, huge. Maybe it could be huge for you too.
Okay. And again, you don't have to have all the answers today.
I'm just sharing with you what worked for me, but I'm telling you that's so good. And I want it to work for you too.
Okay. I wrote my book, Overcoming Your Villains, my second book.
You know that it's all about removing negative people, places, and things from your life and thoughts, even the thoughts in your own head, right? So overcoming your villains is a huge part about this recipe to success, removing negative people, places, and things. And that can be jobs.
That can be toxic work environments. That can be peers at work.
That can be the make believe friends that really aren't your friends, a frenemy, right? Like anyone that's bringing your vibe down, limiting all interaction with them or cutting them out of your life completely is going to open up opportunity for you to bring positive people into your life, attract places that you're supposed to be going, things you're supposed to be doing. Get rid of this path that you're on that was what other people told you to do so you
can get the path that God has meant for you. Like, oh my gosh, remove the negative people,
places and things from your life and watch yourself take off. Overcome Your Villains,
such a great book. If you haven't read it yet, go get it.
I do the audio version. You need it.
Okay. That's another step.
Another step. Ready? Find your purpose and calling.
And I get people
are like, that's so big. How do you do that? During this whole messy path along this way of like, listen, me getting fired.
That was a massive, it wasn't rejection. It was a massive redirection to what I was meant to be doing, which is I'm meant to be here sitting with you today.
I'm meant to be taking stages, speaking life and belief into people. I was speaking at Northeastern University last week.
And right before I was going to go on, and it's so funny, I'm going to do a post about it this week. Right before I was supposed to go on, I saw that they had this big board up and it said, Heather Monahan, two-time bestselling author, top 50 keynote speaker.
And then it said I was speaking about sales strategies. And yeah, I was a sales leader in corporate America for 25 years.
I can speak about sales strategies, leading sales teams, leadership in business ad nauseum, right? I don't need notes. I can just get up and do it.
I did it for so long. However, I looked around that room and I thought to myself, that is not the message these people need to hear right now.
I felt like something much larger than me was speaking into me. This is not the message you need to bring forward today.
I trust myself now so implicitly. I want you to trust yourself too.
My intuition is so strong. And because I act on my intuition, I trust it even more.
So yes, a lot of people would say that's crazy to change your talk right before you're going to go on. But I believe in me.
And I knew the people that were there that brought me in to speak believe in me too. Right.
And so when you feel that sense of belief, when you're not surrounded by negativity, when you're not surrounded by naysayers, but champions, you believe in yourself more. I took that stage and I said, oh boy, giddy up and here we go.
I am not giving the talk that everybody thought I was going to give today, including myself. And here's why.
There's one voice and opinion in your life that will always matter. And that is your own.
When your heart speaks to you, listen and act, and you will hear it more and more and more. And it will set you on that right path.
I said, I want to start off today with two stories that I feel like are so important for you to hear. And I got into these two stories.
And really the bottom line was this, that the message I was bringing forth was a couple of things. You need to just go bigger and you need to have faith and you need to have hope.
And when other people tell you your ideas aren't going to work, that's okay. And you can thank them for their limiting beliefs, but you got to stay on your path and listen to your truth, regardless of what is the truth for anyone else.
And there are millions of people in the world that told me I was crazy seven years ago when I got fired and I decided to go to work for myself. Everyone told me to wait out my non-compete and go back to the industry I had expertise in.
And today I'm so glad I didn't. But it's a constant battle, right? Like, obviously that would be the easy thing.
I have way more expertise, 25 years of experience and expertise and network in that arena. I only have seven years in this new one, right? So it's harder when you're starting out.
But one thing that's cool is when you find your way and you know you're on your purpose-driven path where you're meant to be, suddenly doors open for you unexpectedly that wouldn't have opened if you weren't on that right path. So finding your purpose and calling is huge.
And there's a knowing about it. There's a certainty about it.
It doesn't happen on day one, though. I'm going to tell you this.
Seven years ago, I didn't feel this way. When I wrote my first book, I didn't feel this way.
I started feeling this way a couple of years ago when I wrote my second book. And maybe if you've been following me on the journey on the show, if you've been with me on the show, you've seen the evolution over the last five years as a show has gone on.
I think I've seen it for sure. I know I've gotten messages from some of you that you've seen it, too.
Right. The more stages I take, the more certain I feel, the more partnerships are coming together for me that I had dreamt about, prayed about, but had a sense and calling that these were going to happen.
And now they are like all these things are coming together now. If success was easy, everybody would have it, right? Like if it was on day one, I just flipped the switch and it happens.
That's not real. Maybe it's real for you.
That has not been the case for me, but there's a sense and this knowing and this belief that I am on the right path. And I want you to find that path.
And it starts with letting go of what's not for you. You're never going to be able to grab greatness if you hold on to mediocrity.
And for a long time, I was holding on to mediocrity.
In my personal relationships, in my business relationships, in the work that I was choosing
to do, I wasn't growing.
I was stagnant.
You've got to let go of average to grab great everywhere in your life.
Let go of it. One of the big things that opened up like a vortex of positive energy for me was clearing out and decluttering my last house when I was selling my home.
My realtor said like, we got to get some stuff out of here. You've lived here a long time.
I literally gave away and threw out so much stuff. It was incredible.
Not only did I feel lighter and happier and loved my home so much more after I did that, right? I did it because I was moving, but I loved my home when I did it. I was like, why didn't I do this sooner? Amazing miracles started showing up in my life.
Now, what's so wild is this past week, I interviewed Marie Diamond from The Secret. You're going to hear she's coming up in the next couple of weeks.
I'm going to release the episode. I'm so hyped for you to hear it.
It's so freaking good. And I'm implementing like everything this woman taught me.
It's incredible into my life because that whole declutter thing as part of Feng Shui, right? Which she did not make this up. It's an ancient Chinese practice that's been around for thousands of years.
And again, there's no downside to it. Like decluttering, what's the downside? You're not going to get hurt.
The worst that happens is you have a cleaner house with more space. But what she says and teaches around Feng Shui is that it creates space for miracles to start showing up in your life.
And it truly worked out that way for me. I literally emptied out my house, decluttered my home.
Within two weeks, I got a phone call from the Dr. Phil show to come on.
Like so many wild things started happening out of left field, not things I was working on, not things I was planning on, things that just started showing up for me. So declutter, I'm tasking with that today.
I'm going to do it to my bedroom now that I've lived in the condo I'm in now for a couple of years. I need to declutter again.
Like it's never over, right? Why not always be creating space for miracles to show up in your life? Okay. Then back to her Feng Shui.
I, I really went down the rabbit hole, like her whole idea. And again, I'm gonna get into the detail on the show on that episode so you'll hear it,
but I'm prepping you for it now
so you can start getting in the mindset
because I wanna set you up for success so bad.
Her whole concept is like,
we all know what a vision board is, right?
Like putting the spouse that you want on there,
the book deal that you want,
the millions of dollars that you want,
the home that you want, the child that you want,
whatever it is, right?
Like all the things you want,
you desire your vision for your future. You map it out.
You put pictures against it. You visualize it.
But her ideas go even further. Make it part of your home.
So for example, she says, like, don't put pictures of yourself alone in your home. That's sending the message subliminally that you're alone.
If you want to be in a relationship, put pictures with you and people you love in it so that you are always seeing, I'm always surrounded by love. I'm always surrounded by people who love me, right? Like share the message and the vision board, not on just the vision board, but everywhere in your home.
So declutter the table, declutter the desk, declutter the bedroom and have pictures of two hearts together, have pictures of you and your best friends hugging together, you know, have pictures of you on amazing trips that are super expensive that you know, like you need to be making millions of dollars to go on again, right? That's all sending this message that you're succeeding, that things are going well. Start living out your vision board in your home.
And that can be done through the colors that you choose. That can be done through plants.
Oh, here is another great one that she shared with me. Get rid of all fake plants.
Fake plants stagnate energy and stop flow. So I chucked, I had these beautiful fake plants, got rid of them, put real ones in, like bring things to life, bring energy into your home and create movement and energy.
I have a fountain now in my house. It's very small.
It's cute. So cute.
But like it shows that water is always moving. Like money is always moving into my life.
Like energy is always moving. Positive things, miracles are always coming to my life.
It's all about setting your home up to literally like be a vortex for good for you. And ironically, the same day I interviewed Marie, which is so crazy, I interviewed Michael Beckwith.
He was in the movie, The Secret, with her. And I say ironically, no, it's serendipitous.
It's a miracle, right? Like these are people who I've watched that movie a million times and think it's incredible. And now here they are coming on the show, right? Same day too, which is so wild.
I don't know. To me, that's like gets my attention.
There's miracles happening all over. Anyhow, when I was on with Michael, such an incredible spiritual individual, amazing energy, like so vibing high, like he's all about getting your vibration to the next level to attract the right things into your life and the right people.
It's so much good. but he also shares right like it's first connection to god source you know i say god for sure some
people say universe. I say God.
He says God as well. So it's your connection to God and prayer to God, right? Super super being aligned with God and what your soul purpose is, getting clear on that.
And that can be done through prayer. That can be done through journaling.
That can be done through religion. Like there's so many different ways, right? For me, a lot is going back to the Bible and reading the messages from the Bible.
Gosh, they're so powerful. Like, you know, the power of the tongue is stronger than that of the sword, right? Like there's all the power resides within you through Jesus Christ, right? Like there's so much truth and power in the Bible.
It's incredible. And it's just so wild to me.
It's thousands of years old. Like all of the information we ever needed was already there.
It was the last original piece of artwork that we've ever seen created. Okay.
So he's talking about first, God first, and your relationship with God first. Next, he's talking about positive affirmations, positive prayer, meaning, I don't know that I'm saying it correctly, but I'll teach you the right way.
Instead of when you pray saying, Oh God, please, I would like to have a new car in my life. You thank God for the new car that you already have in your life, even though you don't have it yet.
Right. It's all about like, you're so expectant and this is back to the Bible.
You're so expectant for what it is you're asking for that it's already here. You're already showing gratitude for it.
So gratitude, love, like joy, being on that super high vibe and speaking it into existence because the power of the tongue is so incredibly powerful. Like, thank you so much for these incredible miracles in my life.
God, I'm so incredibly grateful and thankful I received them today and every day with so much gratitude, right? Like this positive, affirmed prayer, instead of like begging for something, you're thanking that you already received it, even though you probably actually haven't yet. OK, so that was super important.
And he was reminding me of that living your life's purpose. And like the more that we can come into alignment with what we're really meant to be doing.
So meaning don't live your life for your parents. Don't live your life because your spouse told you you should do this job.
Live your life because of what your higher calling is and what you call to do. The more you step into that, the more miracles are going to show up for you.
Make space for them, right? Start vibing high and expecting them and watch how your life unfolds. I swear to you, in the past two months, I can't even like, I have my new partner in LA and you know, this amazing company that we're growing together.
I have my new partnership with Dean. I have, you know, so many incredible brand deals that have come to me in the past month alone.
I just as a result of this event that I spoke at this weekend, have a new incredible brand partnership that just came out of nowhere. I mean, it's wild because I've been thanking for these things and asking for them and thanking it and feeling as though they've already come to be.
And now they're materializing. And it is incredible and so exciting to watch.
And I want you to have that too. I want you to have whatever it is that you want.
I want you to know you have the power within you to activate it. I bet some people are going to think I'm crazy.
My son, I will tell you, thinks I'm crazy for sure, but that's okay. I can handle it.
And I don't want to be vanilla, right? Like I don't want to be like everybody else. Like I want to be uniquely me.
And to be a disruptor in the world, you're going to have to do disruptive things and say things differently than what other people say, even if it's not conventional and that's okay. Not everyone has to like me, right? Jason Tardik got into this whole thing about haters and how, you know what? When they engage on the feed, it helps the feed.
It helps the post. It helps me reach more people.
Thank you, haters. Like start looking at it as, I don't want to be like everybody else.
I'm different. I'm unique.
I'm me in a category one of one. And so are you, my friend.
I want all this greatness for you. I want you to have all the magic that you have the potential to access.
And I want you to treat yourself as if you deserve it all because you do. And the more we act as if we are deserving, the more we can receive and be grateful for what it is we're asking for.
So start showing up as that best version of you. Start owning and rocking who you are.
Get excited about what's happening this week because it's coming and it is going to be incredible. I am so hyped.
I am so grateful. And another key that I'll add to this, your I am statement, super powerful.
I am healthy. I am blessed.
I am highly favored. I am loved.
Own your I am statements and say them often and with conviction. Also, just be expecting all greatness to happen, all good things to come.
Everything is rigged in your favor.
Of course it is.
Why wouldn't it be?
You're highly favored, and so am I.
I'm so excited for that.
Be expectant.
Get excited.
Do things that make you feel uplifted and happy.
Take care of yourself.
Get enough sleep.
All these little things make big differences in how you feel and then how you vibe and then how you show up, right? How you show up matters. It really, really does.
We all have the chance to impact people in a really positive way each day. Why not be that difference maker for somebody? You need to be it so others can see it.
I'm constantly reminded about that. Okay.
So pray, be expectant, realize everything's rigged in your favor.
Know that anytime anyone did something, it was just an idea, right? And they had to take the steps to actually materialize it and allow it to become something bigger. You can too.
Like we're all creating. We're all constantly creating, whether it's a building or a car or a flower or a card, everything is a creation and process.
And you're the master of your life and you're the one creating it. And it's just, gosh, it's so, what an awakening to start seeing this and realizing this everywhere.
I feel very, very grateful. I'm so grateful for all the support that I get.
I'm so grateful to you for being here on the show. This show doesn't exist without you.
I learned so much from you. Please give me more feedback.
Let me know. Leave a review for your girl.
Share the show with somebody you think it could help. And I promise you, I'm on this journey with you.
I don't have it all figured out. That is for darn sure.
But we get closer every single day because we test and try and keep stretching ourselves to go for more. All right.
So do good. The world needs you.
Turn your light up, my friends. The world's dark.
We need some more light. We need some more of you.
That category one of one. Turn it up, dial it up, and bring it forward.
And just remember, don't be vanilla. Vanilla is way too plain.
You, my friend, are not vanilla.
All right, until next week, keep creating your confidence.
You know how I will be.
I decided to change that dynamic.
I couldn't be more excited for what you're going to hear.
Start learning and growing.
Inevitably, something will happen.
No one succeeds alone.
You don't stop and look around once in a while.
You could miss it.
I'm on this journey with me.
