I catch him and now he's paying me back $10,000 a month on a payment plan.
What kind of attorney does that?
A corrupt one.
Yeah.
So it's tough, man.
It's tough to do legal battles in Mexico, but I'm immune to it.
I'm immune to bad news.
I'm immune.
Every day someone's trying to steal from me, sue me, fuck me over.
I'm used to it.
I don't think anyone has it worse than me besides Trump and Tate.
All right, guys.
Someone I've talked to for years now on social media at Vegas, Dave, how to bring him out of retirement, man.
You've been low-key lately.
Yeah, very low life.
Just low-key and staying out of the public right now.
Living a total different life from five years ago.
Yeah, before it was all about the content to build the brand.
And now, even though I'm quiet and low-key, the brand lives forever.
Was that always a plan?
Just make a bag and kind of slowly dip from social media.
No, I thought I would never leave the scene.
I was addicted to the waitresses.
I was addicted to the fame, addicted to
being on TV.
I was addicted to that lifestyle, but then it switched where I'm the complete opposite now.
Was it a specific incident that caused you to make that switch?
Yeah, it was the federal case when I beat the casinos and they didn't want to pay me and I had to fight for 40 years in prison, 19 felonies.
I fought that Fed case for three years and beat it.
But after that, I was like, fuck this, man.
That was a wake-up call and nothing in life's guaranteed.
So I just wanted to kind of switch how I lived my life.
Yeah, because you were battling that case while your mother was dealing with health issues.
There was a lot going on at that time in your life, right?
Yeah, she was stage four pancreatic cancer at 80 years old.
Jeez.
2% chances of living, and she beat it.
I beat the case.
And then I also hit that Royals bet that year.
And then, you know, it's part of the journey.
Yeah, the Royals bet was 2.5 million, right?
Yeah, 100,000 before the season started.
Crazy.
That's nuts, dude.
I mean, it was that a record at the time.
Yeah.
No, and they changed the rules and how they take future bets because the liability, but no one thought the Royals would win.
They'd win a World Series for, what, 30 years?
And 25, you know, 100,000 win 2.5 million.
I had big balls and I wrote it to the end.
Yeah.
And the casino wouldn't pay you.
That's where the lawsuit started, right?
Yeah.
They made a false allegations to want to pay me.
And then when I stood up for my rights, they indicted me in 19 alleged felonies and tried to put me in jail for 40 years.
Holy crap.
Which casino is that?
Wynn, Westgate.
But you know what?
They're all connected.
They're all crooks.
They're all connected.
Yeah.
You know, they make so much money.
And then when it's time to pay out, they don't want to pay out.
It's really absurd.
You can't really beat them here because even if someone wins 80,000, it's going to cost $100,000 to lawyer up.
Damn.
The person loses no matter what.
So this is happening to other people then.
For sure.
Jeez.
That's why when you see people that can gamble in Las Vegas, not saying they're a loser, but overall they're playing.
They're a loser playing because the casinos are smart.
They kick out anyone that wins and they will keep the people that continue to lose.
Yeah, these days with AI, DraftKings will ban you in like two days.
Yeah, technology's really changed the game.
Yeah.
Has that affected your odds of winning with AI and everything?
No.
For me, I just look at the opening lines.
I just can read the lines, the opening lines, and that's it.
It's easy for me.
Damn.
Yeah, it's like second nature because you've been doing it so long, right?
20 plus years.
Yeah.
When was the first winning year on that journey?
Probably 2010, 2011.
Oh, so 10 years in?
Yeah.
Well, I was just, yeah, I was a professional loser for 10 years.
Okay.
Yeah.
I had to take my, learn my lessons and
recover some big losses.
And then I was able to learn money management, discipline, and mostly stick to basketball, baseball, and and football
do you feel like those sports are harder to win now
book always has an advantage but if you're great like me and i'm not bragging i'm the best in the world at baseball and hockey i know that you can beat them that's why people pay me big bucks for my expertise yeah but this is my last season i'm done i'm retiring full-time what makes you want to retire man i mean
i never really enjoyed my life you know i'm just always
putting out fires every single day, dealing with headaches.
And I worked so hard for what?
My friend Michelle gave me a book, Grow Old, Die With Zero, right?
So I worked my ass off.
I've never taken a vacation for 10 years.
I've never been in a relationship for like five plus years.
I don't hang out with friends.
I had to sacrifice everything.
So this year I'm going to travel and spend money.
So I finally flew private for the first time this year.
And I'm going to take my parents to Japan tomorrow for the first vacation in 10 years.
So I'm going to live life a little bit.
And
I mean, I mean, why work so much?
I have enough money forever.
I have no kids, no wife, no liabilities.
So it's like, I might as well enjoy my life now.
You never wanted kids?
No, I just think it's a headache.
It's a headache.
And whatever I do, I'm going to be the best at.
And I'm going to be honest, I'm selfish.
I work so hard.
I want my time.
And I can't dedicate 50% of my effort to a child when I know I need to dedicate 100%.
Maybe if I fall in love, I mean, you know, people say you fall in love, things change.
I've been in lust, but never in love.
So we'll see.
Yeah.
So you're going to retire next year, man.
What's going to be the next thing then?
Well, I'm semi-retired now, but I had to come fully out of sports because I'm running my three properties in Mexico.
You know, basically I have three resorts out there that I have to manage myself.
Originally, I had a company that was going to manage it, but now I'm taking full control.
Yeah.
And there were some issues with that company, right?
Yeah, Cabo Platinum, they were stealing from me.
So, you know, I trusted this company to manage my properties and they were stealing from me.
I thought they were stealing from me the last couple of years, but they've been stealing from me from day one since 2016.
So I built my empire while people stole from me.
So it's just been a crazy, crazy battle.
You uncovered, what, $6 million in fraud there?
$6 million and we're finding out more.
They set me up with builders to set me up to build my home.
And the first builder stole $2 million.
Second builder stole a good chunk.
And I still finished the house.
Took me six years.
But, you know, it's crazy because, you know, you think they're your friends.
And I was like, holy shit.
You know, these people actually take me out to dinner and treat me.
No one else.
I always pay the bill.
Come to find out.
It's my fucking money.
money.
Oh my God.
You know, I was like, they're so generous.
It's my money.
But the truth is going to come out.
And
like, all this could be settled last year.
It could be settled tomorrow.
And they would just provide the bank statements and the receipts, but they don't want to because it's pure fraud.
Crazy.
Now they're out of business, right?
Well,
they're still running business.
There's something called Profeco, the government that protects the consumer in Mexico.
They sealed up their office, put them on the news, and it really affected their business.
And they want to blame it on me.
Come on, man.
You're stealing.
If you're running an ethical business, then people stay with you no matter what.
So, like with me in sports, people always used to hate, oh, he's a scam, this and that.
Well, I'm in a results-driven business.
People don't buy shit from me unless I produce winners.
So, I always tell people you can make excuses, but if you run business the right way and you do the right thing and you're ethical, your business is going to sustain hard times.
Damn, that's nuts, man.
We'll see how that plays out.
You're fighting that in court right now, right?
Yeah, I have a case in Mexico, case in the States, criminal and civil.
I'm going all angles.
And
now they're crazy now now they're panicking and she's swearing under oath that she was my employee for three years she filed a labor lawsuit but they try to embargo my house like in a movie where they come down and knock down your house and take three hundred thousand dollars worth of your furniture holy yeah like movie type um because they don't around with labor out there they take it very serious in mexico so she lied and said that um she was my employee for three years when she was my property manager that i never paid her one time she had a salary and i never gave her a vacation Well, I don't know anyone that works for three years for free.
Yeah.
It's just a lie after a lie after a lie, but sooner or later the truth is going to come out and I'm going to be victorious like I always am.
Geez.
And that's in Mexico.
So you got to learn Spanish.
Yeah, it's very tough out there.
I should learn Spanish, but I'm too busy working and grinding when I, that's, that's in my bucket list.
I'm sure if you spend three months out there and just immerse yourself in the culture, you'll learn it.
Yeah, but I get too much going on out there, you know, running these.
I mean, I would never
have built what I built out there if I knew I had to run it.
Because now I'm coming.
If someone told me, hey, you're going to stop sports and now you're going to run three resort hotels, basically, because these are like 40,000 square foot villas, I wouldn't have done it because I trusted someone else to do that work for me.
Yeah, no, I feel you on that.
You have the biggest villas out there in Cabo, right?
Yeah, no one has what I have.
I mean, I have Vegas Dave 3, just one Villa of the Year award that's on a private beach, 40,000 square feet, 13 bedrooms.
We just had Little Baby Future checkout.
A lot of celebrities, a lot of athletes stay there.
Vegas Dave 2 is the one that took me six years to build.
That's 40,000 square feet.
So no one has
those size villas.
And I have an experience, meaning my staff is amazing, meaning the butlers, the maids, the chefs, the connoisseurs, the bartenders.
I mean, you don't lift a finger.
Everyone says, you know, your houses are beautiful, but the staff is remarkable.
The service is unreal.
What gave you that conviction to pick Cabo?
Because you could have picked anywhere, right?
You had a lot of money.
Well, I was going to cabo for
15 years you know when i was in the club i'd win a big bet take all the cocktail waitresses to cabo pop some bottles and record content and after a while someone was like you know what instead of getting a room for everybody rent a villa and i pre-judged i was like how nice can a house be in mexico so when i got there i was like holy it was like cribs back in the mtv had an elevator i was like okay one day when i become a real millionaire i'm gonna buy a villa so when i really became a millionaire when the Royals won, the first thing I did was go to Mexico, bought Villa Vegas Dave 1 for only like 500,000.
Now it's worth 5 million.
Damn, 10X.
Yeah.
And that house rents like clockwork at $4,000 a night.
Holy crap.
The other ones rent for $20,000 and $18,000.
So people, people have money, man.
You know, people spend, I got a guy that just checked in now, seven nights, $21,000 a night.
Jeez.
Yeah, Cabo's really blown up too.
That was good timing for you.
Yeah, because there's no loans out there, right?
So even when the economy is bad in the world, there's really no recession in the real estate of Mexico out there because there's no loans.
You know, there's no 95% loan.
Everyone, everything's cash.
So you can't fake the funk out there.
So when the market does great, Cabo like triples three X's in like two years.
So you got to buy out right there?
Oh, that's what you can't fake it out there.
It's all cash only.
I didn't know that.
Cash only.
Wow.
So you got to be a baller to live out there.
Yeah, you can't, you can't fake it like out here.
Yeah, you can't fake it.
Yeah.
Out here, you could just rent for like a mansion for 5K a month or whatever.
Yeah, they're cash only.
Yeah.
You miss Vegas, though?
No, I hate Vegas.
I hate the States, man.
I mean, I spend all my time in Cabo.
I come back maybe once every four months to see my parents, or they come out there a lot now because they know I'm not coming home.
And I love it there besides the few bad apples, but there's always bad apples everywhere you go.
But the people are nice.
The weather is great.
Like I said, people are kind.
I love the food.
I'll actually leave and go places.
Like in Vegas, I won't leave the house.
There, I'll wake up.
I'll go running every every morning, and I'll run errands, and I'll be outside where in the states, I just don't like it here.
I think I lost all trust for the states after the Fed case.
I don't blame you.
I mean, that could have put you in prison for how many years were you facing on that?
40.
40?
Jeez.
When the last plea, they tried to get me down to two to three years.
I almost took it, but I said, fuck that, man.
I'm not a crook.
And
I walked.
It was great.
The odds were against you.
The federal conviction rate is insane.
Yeah, but they knew from the beginning that I wasn't lying.
They just didn't like the fact I was showboating.
I was rubbing their faces, but I was just building the brand and building,
you know, just producing content.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't blame you for leaving Vegas.
If you're banned from every casino, why would you live here?
Yeah, but it's a blessing in the skies because I haven't been to a casino forever.
But what's at a casino?
Hookers, drugs, alcohol, gambling.
Things that you don't want in your life to be successful.
It was the biggest blessing of my life.
I think, you know, if I tell the casinos, I thank you very much for that because I would not have the wealth I have.
No way I could have made the money betting sports.
It forced me to be a sports consultant, pivot.
And that's where I made all my wealth.
And, you know, everything I have is selling pics off Instagram, believe it or not.
It's crazy to me.
When I look back and I see what I built, I tell my parents, can you believe I built all this off social media?
No.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
But I got in early.
I was always telling people content is king.
People used to laugh at me for bringing a video camera to the nightclub.
I videotape every date I went on.
I would go to Cabo and videotape.
The rule is if I come, I videotape.
And now content is the new currency.
And I knew it.
When I think of who was the first person I remember selling sports picks, it's always you.
You were early, man.
Now everyone does it.
There's so many characters now.
Yeah, they're characters, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, I mean, I don't really pay attention to what's going on, you know.
So you haven't seen the Sean Perry Mozzie beef?
No, I don't.
I don't pay attention.
They're boxing right now.
They are.
Well, that's good.
Well, promotions, whatever works for them.
As I told you before, when I walk away from this industry, I don't care what anyone says.
No one built what I built.
No one has what I have.
They can say whatever they want, but no one has the assets I have.
So I think there's a lot of money for everyone to make.
So I don't hate on anybody.
There's enough money for everyone to make.
So I don't pay attention to what anyone says.
Maybe five years ago, I would have gotten involved and ran my mouth.
But right now, I focus and stay in my own lane.
And I'd rather have peace.
You seem like you're very at peace right now.
Yeah, I have peace.
And anyone that doesn't bring me peace or profits, boost us.
You know, I block people right away.
I see a post, block the person.
I mean, someone flakes, block.
I don't give second chances.
Yeah.
So you block Steve Stevens?
Probably.
Yeah.
He's a character too.
You know, I don't, I'm sure if he still talks, if he still talks about me, he still does.
Oh, my God.
He still talks about me?
Yeah.
Whatever, man.
I have whatever.
I guess I'm his hero.
It is what it is.
But I have nothing bad to say about Steve or Darren, whatever his name is.
You know, we had choice words in the past, but what, 48 years old, man?
I'm not beefing over someone on social media.
I'm a fucking wealthy as fuck.
I'm deciding what suntan oil I'm going to put on the beach today and what handicapper that's 60 talking shit about me on the internet.
It's ridiculous.
I mean, you know what they say about hate is always coming from below.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But one day, you know, people change unless it's in their blood forever.
So some people never change, dude.
I don't know.
I don't have time to hate, man.
I wish I had time to like look at people's situations.
You know, like we sat in contact for years, you know, and I finally am now on this.
It was always respect with us.
Yeah.
I always respected your marketing because at the end of the day, hate on your bets or whatever, but you are a good marketer.
You knew how to get views.
Yeah, you know, and I was very honest.
And I didn't care, you know, and I'm still, I still don't give a fuck.
I'll still tell you the truth.
I might be kinder.
And then my choice words are a little different now, but I'm still very cut by the same cloth.
And I'll always tell you straight up.
Some people don't like the honesty.
A lot of the girls were crying, you know.
A lot of guys don't want to hear the truth.
But if their feelings are hurt, it's because they're fucking insecure.
Why were the girls crying?
That was a dick.
You know, I mean, I was, I don't know how I got away with what I did, but, you know, giving girls play and be smoothies and like record everything and give them breadsticks from Olive Garden the next day.
And they would love the content.
I don't know how I got away with it.
But I look back now and I'm just like, man, what a crazy life.
And people meet me now as a businessman, and they're like, I can't believe you were this person before.
I was like, I can't even remember those days.
That was just crazy how I used to live.
Damn.
You ever just want to settle down with one chick and ride into the sunset?
I would.
Find me a good girl.
You won't find it in Vegas.
Maybe Cabo.
I don't know how the girls are there.
They all got kids and tattoos.
And it's not my thing, you know.
It's very hard.
I'd rather have a girl.
You know where you're going to find her?
You got to go to the fucking village.
Go to a village where they don't speak English.
So, you know, like in
Ukraine or some shit.
But it's tough nowadays.
You know, I work so hard.
There's no way I'm going to sign a contract where a girl wakes up one day and the coconut falls off the tree from Vegas Day of three.
She's like, oh, I don't love you no more.
And she gets half my shit.
I will have a partnership.
You can sleep on the second floor of the villa.
You can actually sleep next door at the other villa.
But I want my space.
I want my own bedroom.
I want my own bed.
And
we can live life.
And I'll treat you like my wife, but I'm not signing no goddamn contract.
That's for sure.
Wow, you wouldn't even sleep with them at night.
You love your privacy, bro.
Once a month, maybe.
Because
I'm a machine.
I'm structured.
I go to bed at 9:10.
I wake up at 3.
Damn.
I don't want to hear someone snoring.
I don't want to hear someone talking, moving in bed.
I need to sleep because I wake up like a machine at 3.
So if I don't sleep well, my whole day is fucked because I've run a routine.
Why do you get up so early?
That's super fucking early.
It's just how I am.
And I go running every morning.
You know, you said I lost weight.
This is the lightest I've been in a while.
You probably lost 70 pounds since I've been.
I'm not even kidding.
Really?
Bro, you were kind of chubby back in the day.
Why?
Drank a lot of, drank, and partied all day.
Yeah.
But I run three to five miles every morning, four o'clock in the morning.
So I don't love it, but I suffer.
I told myself through suffering because anytime I run, I haven't missed a day.
I think I missed one day in three years.
Damn.
If I run, I can picture my day,
strategize strategize my day, and I can focus.
And when I'm running at four in the morning in the marina and people are just fishing or coming home, no one else is doing that shit.
So I'm doing shit no one else in the world is willing to do.
That's why I have three villas and no one else has it because it all starts from your morning routine.
Yeah.
Are you still sober?
Of course.
I'll have a shot here and there when I have guests, when I have guests visiting me, but dude, I don't party.
I won't even date a girl that parties.
I won't date a girl that drinks excessively.
Like I'm so different.
Like I'm probably too strict with my rules, but I have very, a lot of non-negotiables because I worked hard to have what I have now and I don't want to lose it, you know, and I know what it's to take.
You know, I don't want a girl with social media.
I don't want a girl that has girls night in Miami.
I don't want a girl that goes to EDC and Coachella and all.
Shots fired over here.
But I've learned too that I also pre-judge a lot, right?
I'm very judgmental and I admit that, but that's, I admit my flaws as well.
Well, at least you're aware.
I am.
Yep.
No, I mean, you're at a position now where you got to pick the right girl or else, like you said, you can lose half.
Yeah, and I'm fine being alone.
I love being alone.
I have a little Maltese, and that thing doesn't talk back, and it goes everywhere I want to go.
They have a VIP chair from every table in Mexico.
He eats filet mignon every night.
You know, I'm cool with the dog, man.
And then when I want to see people, I just pick up the phone and people fly the next day.
So I control my ecosystem.
If I want to turn it on, I turn it on.
If I want silence, I don't answer the phone.
No one can get hold of me.
Does Trump winning make you think there's hope for the United States?
Well, yeah, but it's going to take time to change.
Then what's going to happen after four years?
He can't come back.
Right.
You know, people understand we got a guy that's filthy rich that doesn't have to do this and does it.
You know, it's just, I'm not going to get into politics.
I'm just saying that he's the person that can do it.
And
I'm a capitalist just like him.
Yeah.
But I don't want to get into politics and into that thing.
Don't want to get you canceled there.
Yeah, but I'm just saying, but
he knows what he's doing.
You don't become where he is in life by making poor choices.
Yeah.
I'm happy you're finally taking a vacation, man.
10 years is impressive.
I thought my streak was impressive.
I went five years.
Five?
Yeah, I don't have time.
You know, I got sports people.
They depend on me every day to pick winners.
They're paying me thousands of dollars a day.
I got to produce.
You know, they're trusting me.
And number two, I got
what, $70, $80 million in real estate that I got to manage now because people were stealing from me.
So I have have to manage the homes.
So, but my parents are getting older.
Um, and I always wanted to take my mom to Japan because my mom's Japanese.
So, I'm taking my parents to Japan tomorrow for two weeks, and I'm shutting off.
So, I, that's why I called.
You said, I'm in town for two days.
Let's do this.
And I'm out.
I love it, man.
How's the March Madness picks been going?
You've been crushing it?
Yeah.
Very, very, very good.
Very easy for me.
I feel like that's the toughest one, though, because you never know who's going to upset.
I do a lot of second half.
I watch the first half.
And then when the line comes out, I can tell
that makes sense i read the lines very well yeah so you don't know who's going to win it all you kind of wait till halftime and then it might not be the sexiest thing but i'm worried uh i'm focused on making people money yeah you know i care about them paying me and them making money not what's attractive yeah i hope duke wins it i'm a big fan of their team this year duke yeah yeah they they've they have a big legacy dude they're looking nice this year Coop, what's the white kid's name?
Yeah.
He might be a problem in the NBA.
If he stays injury free and he doesn't make poor choices, remember, you're just one bad choice and one bad decision from fucking up your whole life.
Yeah.
And these kids are young.
So when they get money thrown in their face, it's very tough to make the right decisions sometimes.
Do you think the NIL helped or hurt athletes?
Helped.
They deserve it.
What's the difference if you're 18 or going pro at 21?
If you're athletic and God gave you that ability and blessed you, that ability, you got to to capitalize.
I agree because barely any of them go pro.
Yeah, they got to make their money.
So at least make money for four years in high school, college, or whatever.
And if you don't make the league, at least you made six, seven figures.
Yeah, because a lot of them sacrificed a lot.
Yeah.
It's very hard to make it to that elite top tier.
So at least they can monetize it.
So I approve of that.
Absolutely.
You said baseball is your best sport, right?
Correct.
You've been crushing it this year?
Well, season starts tomorrow, actually.
It's always starts tomorrow.
But I don't play for the first couple of weeks.
I want to, you know, look at the numbers, look at the lines, and then I wait till about three, week three or four.
I'm very patient, very methodical.
Before, I'd be like, go, go, go, go, go, go.
Now I'm just like, listen, here's my pace.
If you want to be with me, relax.
I got this.
Just trust me.
And
we're very methodical.
That's smart because you see people betting on like ping pong and bad, like badminton shit.
Cricket, volleyball, degenerates, man.
Degenerates, you know, I, and I'm glad I'm transitioning from the sports betting world into my villas in in Cabo.
Because in my business right now, for 20 years, I deal with degenerates.
They all lie.
They have to lie to their wife what they're doing.
Why is the money missing?
Where'd it go?
A lie after lie after lie.
Okay.
Most of them drink.
Most of them do drugs.
Most of them just hang out in a casino all day.
With my villas, I get to give people an experience.
Everyone leaves going, holy shit,
that was the best vacation of my life.
So there's some,
I have gratitude towards, you know, where I'm at right now in life because i get to deliver an experience do i make a shit ton of money yes but i actually made way more money in sports really yeah i mean i had days where i made 500 000 a day holy shit that's insane but i used to stream on instagram for seven hours straight with a goat hat on and a mask i remember those days you know i would i'd get top stream at 20 30 000 streams live but i was consistent but i don't i can't do that no more why because i i hate most people i can't deal with people and i'm not willing to do that no more.
So I don't deserve to make that kind of money again because I'm not willing to put that work in.
You were live streaming before it was big.
Yeah, I was one of the first big ones.
I mean, if I would have stayed, I could have got huge.
But after my last relationship, I think that's the one that made me change where I don't want to be in the spotlight no more.
Was that the supermodel?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was just, it was cool, TMZ and all that shit.
But after a while, while you're just like, I.
The Lakers game was the pinnacle.
And after the Lakers and the Birkins, I was done with my marketing.
Was it too expensive expensive a lifestyle to date that woman?
No, it's just, it was a headache.
You know, it was just, to me, a partner, in a relationship, you got to give them attention.
I was still building my business.
But yeah, you know, having a hot chick is great.
But at the end of the day, it's just more about character.
I'm not saying she had a bad character.
It just wasn't a great fit for me.
Yeah.
Well, usually the more attractive ones lack personality from my experience.
Yeah.
This one was a smart one too, but it just wasn't a good fit.
And it is what it is.
She was just a chapter in my life that God brought and she helped me change my life for the positive.
And I think she's dating Oscar now, De La Hoya.
And damn.
Yeah, they're together.
And that's great.
She, she deserves someone to love her.
I just wasn't the guy.
Was that a quick rebound for her?
Or like, I have no idea.
I just found out like a year ago.
You got her blocked, probably.
Yeah.
I blocked her as soon as she packed up her shit, blocked from everything.
No one can ever get hold of me.
Once I'm done, I'm done.
Damn.
So you don't forgive easily.
No, I'm too busy, man.
You fucked me once, you're going to fuck me again.
And if you give me a headache once, you're going to give me another headache again.
You lie to me once, I know you're gonna lie.
People don't change, you don't think so.
They can if they really want to, but most people don't want to.
Agreed, yeah, most people.
You can do anything you want.
I changed, but it was discipline.
Can you unfollow everyone from social media?
Can you not drink?
Can you not date?
Fuck, I probably had sex once in two years from going out every single night.
Yeah, you know,
run every morning at 4 a.m.
All I eat is egg whites all fucking day.
Do I like it?
No, but what it takes takes to get in shape, what it takes to be a one percent of a one percent.
Turn down every invite, every vacation, every social event is no, no, no, no, no.
You got to learn to say no to everyone else and say yes to yourself if you want to get up there.
But everyone says they want to be up there, but no one's willing to sacrifice.
Not many are.
They say they are, but they're not.
No, everyone's full of shit.
No, I had to sacrifice my health, my personal friendships.
Oh, yeah.
Say bye to friendship.
If you have family, everything, man, you got to, I was alone for four to five years.
But guess what?
four to five years went by so fast i'm amazed at what i built and 99 of the people are still doing the same shit no growth and still doing nothing with their lives yeah yeah you always early are like how did you get that insight to be early to everything
vision gut i have a very good gut feeling i really believe i have two good guardian angels and i just go with my gut help me with my investments crypto when we used to talk baseball cards sports betting you know the predictions uh Women got me out of relationships before it's too late.
So it's like, I just have a very good intuition.
I trust my gut and I don't second guess it.
Once I get that bad feeling, I'm out, blocked.
Yeah.
Cause you set multiple world records.
You also got the world record for a largest sports card sale, right?
Yeah, the Mike Trout card.
$4 million sale.
Yeah, I took it.
That's when I was popping on content.
You know, I bought that rookie for $400,000 on eBay.
Posted on YouTube and Instagram that I was going to break the Honus Wagner record, which was the biggest baseball card payout in the world for what, 100 years?
Everyone laughed.
Two years later, executed, sold it for $4 million.
Well done because the market crashed after that too.
And I told people it would crash.
Sold it.
I said, it's going to crash.
Everyone was mad.
And I was like, I'm just keeping it real.
And it crashed.
You timed it well.
You also crushed it in crypto, too.
Yeah, I love crypto.
It's the only thing that I'm passionate about now.
You know,
I know that crypto is the future.
Everything's blockchain.
I don't trust the dollar right now.
Well, dollar is going to get weaker with Trump and risk assets are are going to go through the roof.
But what they're going to do is what I said years ago.
They're going to make a digital currency stablecoin, which is a CBDC.
And everyone's going to have to convert from dollars to digital.
They'll find a way to fool all the peasants and say, hey, we'll let you not pay taxes.
Turn in all your cash for digital dollars.
Everyone's going to say, okay.
And they're going to control the digital dollar.
They can track it, put an expiration date.
If they want the economy to boom, you have to spend it or or it's going to be taken away.
They can make sure, have control.
You, hey, Sean, you've been to Cabo 10 times this year.
You don't need another vacation.
We're going to shut off your flying abilities with and purchasing abilities.
So once people find out once everything's digital and it's all controlled, then they're going to flock to Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the only pure form of democracy for currency.
And by then, it'll be half a million to a million dollars.
Sounds like communism.
Jeez.
That's scary.
You're a big believer in crypto.
Big, yeah.
I mean,
I don't believe in like currencies.
All of them fail.
If you study all of the currencies in all of history, they always fail.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm big into blockchain and I just really believe in crypto.
It's just so easy.
Like if you want to send money to someone in Mexico, instant.
Easy, but people can't do it.
I mean, as I always tell people, anyone that does crypto, they're either very intelligent or wealthy.
Stupid and broke people don't do crypto.
I don't know any dumb person that's broke that does crypto.
Maybe the meme coin people.
Yeah, but not the real ones.
Yeah, yeah.
I stick to like the top five, top 10.
You big on any certain coins right now?
Near.
I heard of that one.
You have near avalanche and a little bit of Aave.
But again, all those cryptos don't do jack shit.
At the end of the day, Bitcoin's where the money's at.
So what are you going to use a near token for?
What are you going to use a SUI token for?
What are you going to use an Avalanche token for?
It's all to make money.
It's all hypothetical, yeah.
The only thing that really has intrinsic value is Bitcoin.
And ETH has a purpose too, but everyone's greedy, right?
So you want to make those big multiples.
But Bitcoin is where I use it every day.
So when did you first get into Bitcoin?
When I started talking to you, probably 2021.
So the second bull run.
Yeah.
If I knew what I knew, and I was around 2017, I would have been a billionaire.
I have big balls, right?
Yeah.
I think they put a million in, right?
Just to start for fun.
Just for fun.
I didn't know what the fuck I was doing.
Here's a million.
Tell me how to do this shit.
You know, I got crushed.
I learned, got crushed, learned.
And now I'm crushing it now because you got to take those wounds and be resilient.
Most people quit.
Absolutely.
You got to figure shit out.
You're working on a second documentary right now?
Yeah.
They really want to talk about how I got to where I'm at right now, how I just disappeared.
And what's like to build in Mexico and go through criminal lawsuits in Mexico and civil lawsuits in Mexico and find out everyone's stealing from you and still build an empire and still be victorious.
So it's something I really didn't want to do, but so many people after hearing the story have come to me.
So I have my entertainment attorneys working on a proposal with a big network.
And
they say I'm good for TV, so
for a TV series.
So we'll see.
I mean, your first movie did well, 2.5 million on YouTube alone.
Yeah, it was good.
It really talked about and shared about.
David Wancha, the person you see now, versus Vegas Dave, the brand where everyone just saw me at the clubs.
But it ended in 2021.
So the next chapter where I'm at right now is a whole different lifestyle, whole different perception of life, and a whole different just way of living.
So, you know, I moved very fast, but it was all different choices.
And it's very hard to build another country, you know, because out there things can be corrupt.
You know, you can pay people to do shit.
Like, it's, it's, it's, you got to know the right people.
It takes a lot of balls to do what I did, but I always find a way and always figure it out.
I love it.
What's the next focus for you?
Is it the villas?
Just the villas and happiness.
I mean, I sold all my beachfront lots.
I got a couple left.
I don't want to build them more.
I had oceanfront lots, I was going to build a hotel.
But after the property manager stealing for me and the builder stealing for me, I don't need more money.
Just selling everything, peace.
I make good money.
I just want to have happiness.
I want to travel.
And hopefully, like you said, find a good girl, you know,
one good one.
I hope you do find one, bro.
I'll put a a bounty right now a hundred thousand dollars i will i'll pay you a hundred thousand dollars if you find me a good girl what are your qualifications no kids okay 25 to 32 that's young for you while i don't want an older one okay because you want kids or no it's just because the older ones in 10 years are going to age fast i'm you know i just
listen if it looks like michelle baby
um no but um
Age kind of matters, but if the personality matches,
it matches.
But ideally, no cats, no cigarettes,
no drugs, respectful to their parents.
I like that one.
Respect, honesty, a good communicator.
And
I prefer not married before.
I don't want baby daddy drama and shit like that.
But
virgin?
No.
Virgin lasts three years, maybe.
But I'm very picky, so it is what it is.
But if you can find me one, I'll pay $100,000 for it.
100K, I might start looking.
100K, Bitcoin, too.
Yeah, if you're watching this, send me your applications, guys.
I'll take 100K.
I did Millionaire Matchmaker, but 10 years ago, that was the crazy episode.
But I wasn't in the right.
How does that show work?
They put millionaires on there and they brought girls.
And I told them, oh, they're all gross.
Get them away.
And she chased, Patty chased me out.
That's when I was crazy back in the day.
They had like a million views on that.
And she's like, you're terrible.
I was like, I said I wanted this, this, and that.
And she's like, you're only going to end up with a cocktail waitress.
Because before, that's all I wanted.
Another thing, they can't be a cocktail waitress you know too much about those women yeah that's just not my thing no more yeah you said you're chasing happiness are you happy right now or not yeah i'm very i'm at peace man i'm i'm very happy um everyone that's supposed to be in my life is in my life i pray every day to bring the right people my life get the wrong people out so i knew you were a good choice today because god wouldn't have me connect with you That's how spiritual I am, you know,
you know, I trust my gut.
So I didn't know you believed in God.
Yeah, I have to for what I have.
I've never seen you post about religion or or anything.
I don't post about that or politics, but I pray every single day, morning and night.
I'm grateful when I ask him to bring justice in my court cases and to bring the right people in my life, get the wrong people out, and to look over my parents and my dog.
I love it.
The Maltese.
Yeah, and people that are close to me.
I love Malteses, dude.
They're so innocent, man.
Yeah, I could have Malteses forever.
I'm fine with that.
Yeah.
How do you deal with the stress of court?
Because that is probably the most stressful thing in life.
Especially Especially when the system is one attorney I'm going against in Vegas, the guy just lies.
Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie.
Other attorneys in Mexico steal.
I caught one Mexican attorney stealing from me.
I catch him and now he's paying me back $10,000 a month in a payment plan.
Trump, Tate, than Mia.
I get fucked with every fucking day.
Every day.
But I'm immune to it.
It's just a chess game.
I don't let it bother me.
That's why whoever I battle in court, they're going to lose because you know what?
They don't, they can't fight it.
They don't have the resources to fight it.
And most people that are doing it, it's after the money.
I'm always the defendant.
I'm always the one getting fucked.
And
most people, when they're in a lawsuit, they can't produce income as well.
So the business goes stagnant and a year from now, it falls apart.
So while I'm fighting lawsuits, I'm also waking up at three, four in the morning producing income.
So my business never falls apart.
So to answer your question of why do I wake up so early?
I have to squeeze every fucking hour out of the day.
Damn, that is nuts, dude.
So you've just been hit with so much bad news.
You're just numb to it.
I'm immune to it.
Nothing surprised me.
Like three days, I had three peaceful days.
And I told my assistant, Michelle, man, it's been three days of good shit.
Something bad's about to happen.
Then find out my attorney in Mexico is lying behind my back.
Wow.
You know, so it's just like another,
but it, and then I ordered
an escalade from Miami because I wanted to get an SUV in Cabo and it gets stolen.
What?
Yeah.
From the way there?
On the way there.
So now there's an insurance claim.
My assistant's like, senor, like, how do you like, I'm like,
don't worry about it.
We'll figure it out.
Like, I'm immune to it.
I can't focus on bad shit.
I just got to keep moving forward.
So it's like I'm very resilient and I'm used to bad news.
If I have too much good news, something is suspicious.
Would you say you're paranoid, living kind of on edge?
No, I'm confident.
I'm confident.
I'm not paranoid.
I'm just self-aware and nothing can fool me because I've seen everyone lie to my face.
I've seen people that I trusted lie.
I've seen people turn on people.
I've seen it all.
And I'm always sober.
I'm always alert.
So I can't be fooled.
You might fool me and I'll play stupid.
Like with my couple of attorneys I have now, I know they're lying to me.
Well, I'll make my chest move when it's right.
But people don't
know what it's like to deal with corruption, and especially in other country.
But at the end of the day, there's good and bad in every country.
Yeah.
So what was your attorney's angle?
Like, were they making money somehow?
Or?
Work with the other party.
I'm paying you to represent me, Sean.
Yeah.
I pay you.
And then you take a bribe from the other party.
So I just offered more than you, basically.
And then pretend you're still working with me.
Damn.
And how'd you catch that?
I had my ways.
Jeez.
But do I get mad?
No.
Do I say anything?
No.
I just move on in silence.
I don't say goodbye.
Block, delete, thank you.
Because what?
Everything's a learning lesson.
There's a reason why everything happens.
Like how I caught my property manager stealing from me, I knew it was off.
But one of their employees came over and I had to teach him crypto.
And his name is Skylar.
He came over and I was tired because I went out to dinner late that night.
And I should never do crypto when you're tired.
He came over.
I showed him and I clicked a link, a meta mask, and it was a hack.
Oh, I lost $3 million
in crypto.
This is a year ago, last April.
I have an FBI report right now for $3 million.
Drained it.
And
I was pissed.
And
very upset.
But the next day I got over and I said, God, why would you do this to me?
There is a reason.
There is a reason for this.
And it made me
look at my invoices better.
You know, every month they would send me invoices and I would say, where's the receipts?
Where's the information?
And they'd be like, oh, I'll give it to you later.
Or, or I'm sick.
They would say they're sick with cancer or they would make up excuses of why not to give it to me.
But when that 3 million was taken, I had to tighten up the belt.
I was like, hey, listen, I want everything you've been promising me.
Our contract states, receipts, financial documents monthly.
I want everything by the state,
or we're parting ways.
They would never give it to me.
Instead, they try to break in my house with a restraining order on them.
Jeez.
And they try to flip it on me, saying like they're the victims and that they were my employees and I never paid them.
Just scams, man.
But
what I'm saying is that if it wasn't for that crypto hack,
I might have not put my foot down all the way.
So
I will take that trade every day, get kicked in the nuts and lose $3 million and be fucking pissed,
or
keep that money and have someone steal hundreds of thousands of dollars from you every single month.
They control the income.
I never got to meet the people running my homes.
They made up the prices.
They made up the marketing.
They tried to change the name of the home.
They had control of everything.
Come to find out, they were trying to get my house behind my back.
Wow.
They were signing power of attorneys behind my back.
They would have stole everything from me.
That's why for this case, it's a principal.
There's no mercy.
I don't don't want their money.
I want them to go to jail because they're still stealing.
Cabo Platinum, Danette Reed, Michon Andre, they're still stealing.
There's other people that have houses at Cabo.
They're older, 70, 80.
They don't follow social media.
These people rent their homes out.
Don't even tell them they're renting it.
Don't provide them receipts.
And they're still stealing.
So to me, it's principle, man.
It's principle.
It's principle.
And I'm doing this for the community and because no one else wants to stand up and I have to do it.
Wow.
It's not about the money.
It's the principle for me.
Yeah.
Everything happens for a reason, right?
Correct.
Yeah.
You getting hacked.
You would have never found these people scamming you.
How did they get so much control over everything?
Was it gradual?
Yeah, they're very good.
You know, they kin my parents' birthday party.
What?
What they do is they, they're the real estate agent.
Scam's elaborate.
It's brilliant.
They sell you the home, the real estate agent.
Then they sell you in the design work.
They don't.
produce receipts and bank statements.
They're supposed to only charge 20% markup, but she makes up fake invoices.
So they make money off there.
And then they rent your homes, but don't provide the bank statements of what they really rented.
So if the house rents for $20,000 a night, like, oh, the person had cancer.
I feel bad for him.
I only collected 10 grand.
Well, they're pocketing the other 10 grand a night.
Plus, they make 20% commission.
So they get you in that.
And then when you catch them stealing, you're for most people want peace.
So like, fuck it.
I'm out of Mexico.
I don't want this drama.
So they sell your house and make another commission on the real estate sale.
Wow.
And they tell you, we're going going to extradite you out of the country if you don't keep your mouth shut.
They leave voice recordings of my parents' answering machine.
We're going to extradite your son out of the country if he doesn't keep his mouth shut.
Holy crap.
Yeah.
I got all that on recording.
Like, but everyone else runs away.
I'm the only one that has the balls to fight it.
And people now know the truth.
And the truth is coming out about Cobbler Platinum.
And it's not defamation.
These are facts.
So they're making more than you on your own property.
That's not great.
They wanted to change the name.
I found out they were booking the homes when I wasn't there and didn't report it.
It's just a scam.
Damn.
Big scam.
And the fucked up thing is that I trusted them.
So I don't really trust people no more.
I don't blame you.
I get fucked over by everybody.
But at the end of the day,
it's my fault.
Because you know what?
I grew so fast and I should have took a step back and went slower.
But let them control my house.
Let them control my income.
It's my homes.
I should get the income and then I pay you.
But I let them control everything as the property managers, my design managers, everything.
They had full control and they were taking vacations all over the world with my money.
That's the problem.
When you're going too fast, you start like giving control up to friends, to coworkers or whatever.
That's why right now I'm done.
I sell all the other land.
I got three villas.
I don't need no more.
I can't spend $500,000 a month in rental income.
I don't spend money.
You know, like I don't buy anything anymore.
You just stack your bag right now?
Dude, I don't do anything.
Like this watch is from five years ago.
I don't buy no more jewelry.
I shop at Ross.
I went to Ross the other day from Japan, 500 bucks.
I'm very simple.
I don't buy it.
Why are you making all this money then if you don't spend it?
Well, now it's coming in because from all the hard work I put in, the rental income.
Yeah.
It comes in.
I can't even spend the damn money.
That's why I said, okay, we'll go to Japan.
Okay, I'll fly private experiences.
But now I'm having groups of friends come.
So I've already had three groups of friends come.
Next month, I have my friends from Hawaii that I've known for 20 years because now I can breathe.
Before I was grind, grind, grind.
Now I'm like, okay, bring, and everyone, all my friends have wives and kids.
I'm the only single one.
So they're all coming with their kids to see me.
And, you know, now I'm enjoying my life and I've control my homes.
And
I think I love to give people experiences.
You know, I'm very generous to the right people, but I've been generous to the wrong people.
And that's my flaw is that I do have a big heart.
Even though people think I'm a dick, I do, I trust too much.
There is that stigma about you that you're a dick.
You're an asshole.
I'm just blunt and I don't tolerate bullshit.
And people confuse that with being a dick sometimes.
Yeah, they don't like honesty.
But I was a dick before too.
But right now, I mean, it's just brutally honest.
Either you like me, you don't.
I don't give a fuck.
It is.
You gotta please everyone.
No, and I'm not, I'm not trying to live to please everyone.
I've never been a people pleaser.
I just need that one person to believe in me.
I only need one person to ride with me.
That's it.
You only need one to believe, one to ride.
Everything else is just extra baggage.
Who was that for you when you were coming up?
Was it your mom?
My parents.
That's why I tell any girl, if I date, hey, when I'm in Vegas, I live with my mom and dad.
I will stay with them until they pass away.
You think that's gay that I live with a multi-millionaire, lives with their parents?
Well, I have respect and honesty and integrity because every time I hit rock bottom, they bailed me out.
Every time I wanted to quit, they said, don't quit in the dreams.
I was not going to fight the lawsuit in Mexico.
I was like, I'm tired of this bullshit.
My parents said, fuck that bitch.
She stole.
We know my dad's like, I know she was stealing from you from day one.
We didn't want to tell you.
Damn.
You go back and you fight that bitch for us.
My dad never swears.
So did not read.
You're going down.
I'm doing this for my parents because they,
Michael, did not kid my parents' 90th birthday, surprise party, anniversaries while they're stealing from me.
Holy shit.
Then they would have stole everything.
They saw me work every day, 18 hours a day.
And when the first builder stole 2 million, come to find out, she set me up with that builder and they split the profit.
So she made a million off of.
Yeah.
I don't know how much she made.
I thought she was just stealing the last two years.
I'd agree.
She's been stealing since 2016.
Holy crap.
Watch me cry when I got wiped out to zero, had to work, make $150,000 a month payments to the house to rebuild it or it gets shut down.
And they just laugh behind my back and pretend to be my friends and take me out to dinner with my fucking money.
That's nuts.
And then sue me that they are my employee when everyone knows you manage my homes.
Now the truth is coming out.
So now she's posting pictures that she's dying of cancer.
So she's saying she has cancer?
She's been saying she has cancer for eight years.
Anytime she gets pushed against the wall, she pulls the cancer card out.
Wow.
It's fucked up.
I wonder if there's a way to prove that.
I don't know anyone that gets cancer treatments and goes to Vegas the next day.
You know, she gets a brain tumor removed and then she's in Vegas the next day.
Jeez.
It's just a big scam, man.
It's literally an American greed episode.
They might have to make this into a film.
You would never believe people can be so conniving.
I'm living it right now.
Crazy.
Well, I hope you beat that man.
I will.
100%.
Where else can people support you and keep up with you?
I'm really not that public anymore.
Instagram, if you want to see my villas, villaveasdave.com, villaveasdave.com.
Three villas, best experience of your lifetime.
Chefs, maids, butlers.
We just had Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt come out there.
They traveled all over the world and said it's the most beautiful place they've ever been to.
Even Brad Lee, them came out there.
I had billionaire stay at the house and they're like, this is the nicest house I've ever seen.
So I'm very proud of the homes.
I worked very hard for them.
and that's what I have.
What I have, you know, I always tell people: you want big things, expect big problems.
You don't want big problems, have small things.
So, I'm still dealing with putting out fires of having big things, but
it's worth it.
I'm living life.
I'm loving life.
I'm happy.
I'm in peace.
And I'm ready for the next stage of my career.
Love it, man.
Well, I hope you enjoy Japan with the family.
And I'll see you in Cabo next time.
For sure.
I'm holding you to that.
All right.
Let's do it, guys.
Check them out.
See you next time.
