Until my husband's here.

That's a beautiful thing.

That is redemption.

And I think that's a beautiful thing because there's no sin too far gone from Jesus.

No one's too far gone.

And people think that they got to clean themselves up before they get to Jesus.

No.

Jesus died for the dirtiest, most broken version of yourself.

So Jesus is the one that cleans us up.

And I think that's beautiful.

All right, guys, we got Bryce here today in Las Vegas.

Thanks for coming on, man.

Thanks for having me, man.

I'm excited.

Absolutely.

You just got out of the fires, man.

It's getting crazy out there.

Yeah, bro.

It was really crazy because I flew in the day I flew in.

I think it was when the big one broke out in Malibu.

Malibu is my favorite place in Los Angeles.

And it's just so tragic to see the whole place going down.

Yeah.

It's just really sad.

It's a shame.

Praise Jesus that we were able to get out and

come and love on some people here in Vegas and just kind of like pray for LA and the firefighters and stuff like that.

I don't know if you've seen these viral videos, but there's a woman that was like prophesizing about these fires like a week ago on the streets of LA.

Oh, no, I haven't seen that before.

Oh, you haven't seen that?

No, no, no, no.

I'm actually really disconnected from social media.

Oh, okay.

Yeah.

I don't really watch a lot of social media, so I don't know.

I've been watching the news more because of the fires, but I've never seen any of these clips.

And there was one of Rogan three weeks ago talking about this.

So it's super weird.

Interesting.

Yeah, bro.

So weird.

Yeah, people were predicting it.

Whoa.

Yeah.

Dude, what the heck?

I know.

Yeah, I don't know.

Like, I think I did see the clip of the Rogan one.

And, you know,

I don't know what to to think about it from a practical stance, but from like the reality of it, it's like, man, suffering exists.

There's a lot of tragedy that's tragic what's going on.

And a lot of people can view that and become hopeless.

And it's like, Jesus is the hope in every circumstance.

Like, there are moments in my life where, you know, I haven't, you know, our house hasn't been directly affected by the fire or things like that.

But when I reflect in my life on moments of suffering,

Jesus has given me.

what scripture calls a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Just like a peace that doesn't make sense.

sense, but in these moments of suffering and hardship, Jesus has been that peace.

So it's been

really interesting.

So that's what I'm praying over these people that are just going through it.

It's like, man, God, give them peace through this hard time, through this suffering.

Yeah, yeah.

I've gotten with some friends and we're donating as much as we can.

It's tough right now.

That's

awesome, man.

Yeah, it's really hard.

What's going on?

Yeah.

When it comes to like suffering and hardship, like, do you think that's the universal thing everyone experiences?

Yeah, bro, I believe it.

I mean, I mean, you know, I was just talking to my girlfriend about this the other day.

Sin isn't just an action.

It's like the condition of the world.

And so when you look at sin and suffering, you have to recognize that like we live in an evil world.

I mean, even down to like a baby, you know, you don't even teach a baby to get angry.

It just naturally gets us angry.

Babies are naturally selfish.

I remember when I was in pre-K, I had a hard time sharing toys.

Really?

And no one told me to not share my toys with people.

I was just naturally selfish.

And so sin, it's a condition of the heart.

We're all born with it.

And we can recognize that we live in an evil world.

And so it's inevitable in this lifetime that suffering exists.

But I think it's the beauty of Jesus Christ is that because of our sin, like any justice system, you do wrong.

You deserve a punishment.

Our sin is wrongdoing.

We deserve death.

But Jesus loves us enough to take that punishment that we deserve.

And because of that, we can have a relationship with him.

And then when Jesus returns a second time, He's abolishing it all for good.

So there will be a day where if you're someone that puts your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, there will be no weeping and gnashing of teeth.

There will be no suffering.

Like it's just going to be joy and perfection because we're just with him for eternity.

So I think it's a very beautiful thing to look forward to.

You know, this life is just one big mission trip, man.

That's an interesting.

We're here to serve Jesus, love him, and tell people about him.

Yeah.

So coming back a second time, I have heard that.

So do you, do you see that within our lifetime?

How do you see that playing out?

You know, I can't say yes or no because I feel like every generation always says, man, Jesus is coming back in this lifetime.

But like, I got to like clear the air on the end times because there's like a lot of people that say, if you ever hear anyone say Jesus is returning like October 2027, never listen to that person because

no human being is going to know the day or the hour.

Now, the Bible tells us that there will be signs, but the end times is described as the period that we wait for Jesus to return a second time.

So even the apostles were in the end times.

As soon as Jesus ascended into heaven, they were in the end times.

So we've always been in the end times.

So I think the heart posture shouldn't be like

inserting fear into people's lives.

Like

when I preach the gospel, I'm not selling fire insurance to people.

I'm not saying believe in Jesus or you're going to burn in hell.

I mean, the reality is, is that...

Whatever we choose in this lifetime, Jesus wants everyone to follow him, but he's not a dictator.

So he gives us the option to.

If we choose to follow Jesus, he's happy.

He grants that wish.

We're with him for an eternity.

If we don't choose to follow Jesus, it breaks his heart.

But he respects that free will decision.

And then we're separated from him for an eternity.

So I think we have to understand that like with the end times, like we've always been in this end times.

And the hope for it is we wait for him to return a second time.

And so, and as for the believer, that's a beautiful thing because he's destroying sin forever.

And on the judgment day aspect, Like that it's an interesting thing because for those that aren't right with God,

which man, God is so interesting because when on judgment day, right, I can't look at God in the face and say, I didn't do X, Y, and Z because my life and my actions build a case against myself.

My words mean nothing, but my actions, my decisions that I've made that were knucklehead moves, because Bryce is a human and I make knucklehead decisions, those can be forgiven.

if I ask for it.

Because Christ's death on the cross and his resurrection were sufficient enough to atone for my sins as if if they never happened before.

So then when I look at Jesus Christ, he's the author, perfecter of my faith.

He is paid for my sins.

I can ask him for forgiveness.

And repentance is, I don't know, let me use drunkenness for an example.

Let's say I'm getting drunk all the time.

I used to get drunk.

Jesus, forgive me for getting drunk all the time.

I'm going to repent and turn away from this lifestyle.

Repentance is a confession.

Like, God, I acknowledge and own what I did was wrong.

I'm asking for you to forgive me.

And then the other half of repentance is turning the opposite direction of the lifestyle of it's living.

So if I was getting drunk 24-7, I would be turning away from alcohol and drunkenness, you know, and walking over it.

Now, me personally, I've never done substances before.

So it's hard for me to relate to people that struggle with substance abuse.

But I use that example because

repentance is just turning away from that.

So I think Judgment Day is so interesting because you can't run away from your actions.

They testify against yourself.

The only way for them to be abolished is if you receive the forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Yeah.

And I think it's such a beautiful thing.

So when you say receive it, you have to ask for forgiveness, right?

Absolutely.

Because imagine, like, if I, if I had a gift, like for Christmas and I wrapped it up and put the bow on it and I wrote to Sean Kelly on it, the only way you're going to understand what's inside that package is if you actually receive the gift.

And I believe that there's a difference in like apology and actually actively doing something about your behavior, right?

So if I came over here and I punched you in the face and I said, I'm sorry.

But I punched you in the face nine more times after I apologized and I apologize every time.

After about the third apology, you would probably stop believing that I was sorry for my actions.

Versus I say, okay, God, I really am sorry.

I'm going to actively choose to turn away from my sin.

I'm going to actively choose.

And I think that's the beautiful thing.

Like it's our actions can really tell that we believe what he's, what we believe what we say.

James chapter one says, pure religion is this, visiting widows and orphans in their affliction.

It doesn't say pure religion is.

talking about how holy you are, talking about how generous you are.

It says, no, it's doing it.

Now we have to recognize that our actions and good deeds don't get us to heaven, but our actions are a reflection of what we believe.

And so I believe if someone says, and that's where, that's where like, you know, when I was growing up, I had an issue with Christians because I thought that they were hypocrites, because there were a lot of people who were like, yeah, I'm a Christian with my mouth, but then they were doing awful things.

And I was like, whoa, this is wild.

And so I think like looking at that and going, okay, like recognizing God already loves me.

There's nothing more that I can do to make him love me.

He just loves me.

But the reason I obey his commandments is not because I have to.

It's just because I love him.

And I want to do things because I love him.

I serve because I love him.

I choose to love people because I love him.

And he loves them.

And he made them in their image.

Everything's out of love.

And I think when we recognize that our motives, actions, thoughts all come out of a love for him, it makes the life of a Christian 10 times easier because it's not about what you do.

You know what I mean?

It's about, it's about who you are in him.

Wow.

That's deep, man.

I'm learning a lot on this.

Thank you.

Oh, no.

Thanks, man.

This is fascinating.

This is all new information for me.

And I know you had a specific moment that caused you to change, right?

Yeah.

Yeah.

I had an encounter with Jesus the night I was going to take my life.

Crazy.

So can you explain what happened there?

Yeah, man.

I had depression and anxiety starting in the eighth grade.

And

I don't know if you've ever struggled with that.

I have.

Yeah.

It feels like an incurable disease.

For sure.

Like it feels like it's never ending.

Or like when the moment of anxiety is over, I remember like when my moment of anxiety would be over, I would be anticipating the next time it happened because it was so horrific and I was depressed went through things at home I was you know contributing to this and I didn't tell anyone about it and so for years just had this depression anxiety buildup finally when I was on December 25th of 2020 I decided I was going to take my life and it wasn't because I wanted to die so Christmas Eve Christmas Christmas day Christmas day um because

guess what?

It's a season of giving.

It's a season of giving.

Everyone gives gifts.

It's great.

And it's like, oh man, I'm going to do that.

I'm going to do the very thing that people least expect.

I'm going to take my life on the day of giving.

And

so, you know, and I didn't want to die because I wanted to die.

It's just because I thought it was the only way to get the pain to go away.

Okay.

If it's the only way to get the pain to go away, then I'll do it because I was suffering.

And it goes again back to what you started off.

Do you think suffering is inevitable?

Absolutely.

And not only do I think in this lifetime, but man, mental health is a big struggle nowadays.

And anyone that struggles with mental health can go, man, yeah, suffering is real.

And so I went to Waffle House.

You ever been to Waffle House?

I have.

Dude, it's so good.

I love that place.

I love that place.

And they,

yeah, this is awesome.

But I went to Waffle House for my last meal because it was open on Christmas and it's one of my favorite restaurants.

And I went in and it was packed.

It was the only thing open on Christmas.

I come from a small country town, so most everything was closed.

And so I grabbed this like random guy.

And I was like, if we're at a party of two, we'll sit down faster because there are booths.

There are booths.

And so we sat down and he's like 30 something years old.

And the second I sit down, he's dumping all of his life issues on me.

My wife's divorcing me.

She's taking my kids.

I'm broke.

All these issues.

And I'm sitting there thinking, man, you know, I came here to escape my problems one last time and you're dumping all your issues on me.

I'm like, you have no idea what I'm about to do when I leave here.

And so he's talking to me and I'm just eating, getting ready to get out.

And then he just goes, doesn't say anything about Jesus.

Has nothing to do with Christianity.

He just goes, I love my wife, but she does not feel the same about me.

There's no growth in a relationship if the love isn't mutual.

And when he said that, it was like time stopped.

And all these scriptures that I had learned going to my private Christian school, growing up in church for a little bit, they all started to make sense.

And we can learn things in our head.

But it was like the 18 inches between my head and my heart finally connected.

And for the first time, the gospel made sense to me because it was all love.

Why would an innocent man take a guilty man's punishment like myself?

Why would someone innocent like Jesus want to to take the punishment that I deserve because of all my knucklehead decisions, because of my rebellion, because of my nature that is in total disobedience to God?

Why would he want to do that?

All love.

And so I sat there and I began to cry and I thought, maybe I just don't know God's love because I've never given myself a chance to love him back, right?

Like we wouldn't know our love for each other.

Like you could say, man, Bryce, I love you.

I love you.

But I would know that you love me as a brother if we spent time together.

We got meals together.

We maybe played basketball together, you know, whatever.

And so I was like, I need to spend time with Jesus.

So I run into my car and I cry out to Jesus.

I don't say Allah.

I don't say Gandhi.

I don't, I don't just cry out universe, mother nature.

I say, Jesus, if you're real, take away my anxiety and depression.

And since that day, I haven't had anxiety or depression.

What?

Yeah, I cried out to Jesus and haven't had anxiety or depression since that day.

Whoa.

And so That was like a moment where I was like, okay, Jesus is really real.

And people believe in Jesus for two reasons.

So logical evidence, just facts, history, but also experiential evidence, like their relationship with him.

And that's why, you know, before, you know, I hated Christianity because of the people that said, I'm Christian, but their actions didn't reflect that.

They were big talkers, but their actions didn't say that.

So, and that's what a lot of people do.

A lot of people say, oh man, I hate God, but they don't really hate God.

They just hate a misrepresentation of God.

And so my challenge to those people that I wish I took upon myself was, okay, if you hear all these things about Jesus, why don't you just go to Jesus Jesus yourself and ask him who he is?

Because that's what I did that night in my car.

Okay, Jesus, if you're really real, take away, take this away.

And then I went to him for the source because we live in a crazy world.

People can gossip about me and you.

People can say nasty things.

And even your closest friends, they could fill in the picture about Sean Kelly.

But I won't really know Sean Kelly the best or to the fullest picture unless I meet Sean Kelly myself and I talk to Sean Kelly.

So it's okay.

Let's meet with Jesus ourselves and ask him.

So that's what I did that night.

And ever since that day, I've been telling people about Jesus because he transformed my life.

And I believed if he could take away the very thing that I thought was incurable in my life, he could do it in anyone else's life.

Wow.

Because I'm the dirtiest human being on the planet.

I was, I am.

And I needed someone outside of myself to save me.

And so, if Jesus could save me, I really believe he could save anyone.

That's beautiful, man.

And now you're on this big mission, getting millions of views on social media, talking with all sorts of life.

That's what I like about your content.

You'll talk to a witch, you'll talk to a gay person, you know, you'll go to pride parades, you went to FurryCon.

You seem to be really trying to push this message on people.

Yeah, well, like a lot of those people um

like you know in in the gay community for example they have a bitter taste about jesus

and uh and all these communities do and aside from their perspective of jesus my perspective is if these guys are so extreme about something other than jesus how much more confident And how much more extreme and excited could they be about Jesus if they actually knew?

And so where some people would write them off in society, I say, no, no, they're actually eager and hungry.

Jesus says that the harvest is ripe.

So he says actually many people are ready to give their life to Jesus.

Doesn't matter what they're doing with their actions, what they're saying.

Oh, if they say, oh, I hate Jesus, I hate Jesus.

They could just be saying that.

They could be putting up a facade.

Jesus says that many people are ready.

The harvest is ripe.

But then he says the laborers are few.

The issue is that there's not enough people telling people about him.

And so I look at those people and I say, man, God loves you.

He sees you.

He's for you.

Now, everyone lives in sin.

All sin is equal in the sense that it separates us from God.

Now, from a moral standpoint, lying is definitely not as bad as stabbing someone.

But from a sin scale, all sin separates us from God.

So I think that's the issue here.

And, you know, when you look at

someone like,

you know, I don't know.

And scripture teaches us that sex is a beautiful thing in a covenant marriage.

And in today's society, society elevates sleep with as many people as you want.

And some people try to scold people.

Oh, you can't have sex with people outside of marriage.

Well, to someone that doesn't know anything about Jesus and doesn't know about God, of course they're sleeping with people outside of marriage because it means absolutely nothing to them.

Whereas to the Christian, they believe that God is an original design for humankind.

Sex is a beautiful gift inside of marriage.

Sex is a binding act that you do with someone that you've made a covenant with.

Okay.

That makes sense.

So why don't have sex outside of marriage?

And so the issue is like, okay, man, we just need to meet people where they're at, not excuse their sin, but say, hey, look, God loves you.

He's created you in his image.

He has an original design for you.

This is what real love looks like.

He laid his life down for you.

He paid something that you can't pay.

It's either you pay it with your life or he pays it with his life and you live in him.

So what is that?

And then if we choose to live in him, he just transforms our life.

And I can confidently say that I've lived a more joyful, richer, fuller life living for Jesus.

Wow.

Because he's, people think he's a cosmic buzzkill.

But he's not.

He's just, he's amazing.

And I've found more joy living for Jesus Christ, a fuller, richer life than I have living for myself.

Yeah.

So what's the the exact reasoning for the sex until marriage stuff?

Like, is there something behind that?

Like what, according to scripture or because like they say not to have it until you're married, right?

Yeah, absolutely.

So let's look at the spiritual aspect of it.

Okay.

So

God, we believe that it, are you a Christian yourself?

I'm not.

Okay.

Yeah.

So according to Christianity, we believe that God sets the standard for morality.

So if God says, deems what is right and wrong, we listen to him because he's all powerful.

He's good and just.

So when God says sex before marriage is a sin, meaning that it's a spiritual binding act.

So when you make a covenant with someone, sex is actually the binding act that you do with your significant other to kind of like, that's like the seal of the marriage, essentially.

It's just a binding act.

But it's not just a binding act.

It's a gift given to a married couple.

Like sex is supposed to be an enjoyable thing.

It doesn't have to be this thing that Christians beat around the bush with.

It's a beautiful thing inside of marriage.

So when you go outside of marriage, Any kind of disobedience, like if you, if God sets the standard for something and you say no to what he sets the standard for, it's disobedience.

Initially, it's wrong.

But outside of that, let's look at, okay, what happens if Bryce sleeps with 20 random people?

Bryce is probably going to get an STD.

Bryce is probably going to get really sick because of that STD.

So you have diseases that happen.

And then if you look at a lot of people that have, if you look at studies compared to people that have a lot of sex, compared to people that don't have a lot of sex outside of marriage, people that have sex outside of marriage, they get their feelings hurt by people in relationships.

They're not dating someone.

They're not exclusive, but they bind themselves spiritually to that person.

And so when they have sex with them, and it's not a beautiful gift inside of marriage, but it's just a transactional thing.

You made me feel good according to my body and I got what I wanted from you.

So now I'm going to move on to the next person.

That hurts your feelings.

It breaks your heart.

And

it's not just like this spiritual thing or like, God's a cosmic buzzkill.

We got to look at the practicals here.

You can get STDs.

You can get really sick.

Some STDs are harmful.

They can kill you.

And then even, let's say not just a man and woman.

Let's look at homosexual intercourse.

You can get STDs that kill you.

It's not good for your body.

And on top of all this, like I just said earlier, break your heart.

You bind yourself to someone.

They got what they wanted from you.

Okay, then you just ditch and leave.

Oh, man, that's got to hurt.

That really has to hurt.

Now, you know,

praise be to God.

I've never, I've never had sex outside of marriage.

When I was young, I was too afraid to have a child

before I was married.

So outside of Christianity, that's why I never had sex.

But when I I became a Christian, I looked at it and I go, okay, wow, praise Jesus.

I never did this.

This is a beautiful gift from God.

And you know what?

To those people that feel like that they're too far gone and that, you know, oh, I've had sex outside of marriage, so God doesn't love me.

That's not true.

I mean, the beautiful thing about Jesus Christ is when we ask for forgiveness and we receive the gift of forgiveness, he wipes our slate clean as if we've never done it.

Wow.

So if you're someone that has had sex outside of marriage and you're looking to Jesus and you ask for forgiveness, he will will forgive you.

And the act is, okay,

I made a consequence.

I did something I didn't know was wrong.

I came to Jesus.

Okay, sex is a beautiful thing in marriage.

It's not something I do outside of marriage.

So now, God, forgive me.

I'm going to wait until my husband's here.

Do you feel like that system of just asking for forgiveness can be abused, though?

Because there's people that can just keep asking, right?

Or like there's no limit to it.

Yeah.

So it's called hypergrace.

And I would argue that hyper grace, I mean, I don't argue, it's just truth.

Hyper grace isn't receiving a real forgiveness.

So hyper grace is essentially saying, I can go sin as much as I want because God's going to forgive me.

That's not grace.

That's not asking for forgiveness.

That's abusing his grace.

And essentially, there's just no forgiveness for that.

Like the Bible teaches us that God doesn't look at the outward appearance, that he looks at the heart.

He looks at the intention of the heart.

So if he looks at someone who says, I'm sorry, God, I'm sorry.

But deep down, they don't really care and they're just going to keep living how they want to live.

God understands that.

But to the person that actually is sorry, confesses, and is actively making a turn, The Bible says, if you sin, we live in a wicked world and temptation is inevitable.

Every human being is going to be tempted.

But if you are turning from your actions and if you're running away from it, there is the possibility that you could stumble again and fall.

But I believe there's a difference in turning from your sin, running to Jesus and accidentally falling, you know, biting into temptation as you're actively turning away from it versus, okay, God, I'm sorry.

But then you keep doing it behind closed doors.

There's a total difference.

And the more you grow closer to Jesus, The more he tunes your heart.

The more you read scripture, the more you cling close to him.

because he's a real person.

He lived.

He lived on this earth.

He's a real person.

And the more you grow closer to him and you abide by the Bible and scripture and you just love him, you live your life out of love for Jesus, it's easier to turn away from sin.

Yeah.

Like you said earlier, it's not the words, it's the actions.

Yeah.

It's just easier to actively go, I'm not going to do that anymore because you love him.

Yeah.

It's easier to do something out of love than forcing yourself.

And when I look at my life personally in moments of crisis, right, freak out, and I'm trying to micromanage my life.

The times I sin the most are when I'm trying to stop it myself, when I call white knuckling my sin.

So I'm a knucklehead.

Okay, my life's going wrong.

So let me try to fix it myself.

I try to micromanage, micromanage, micromanage.

And as I'm trying to micromanage my life, I find myself making more decisions.

Or let's say to the person that wants to keep up their Christian walk, because this has happened to me before.

where I'm trying to micromanage my Christian walk based on what I do for him.

Because there are times where we live in a society where love is transactional, an eye for an eye, or, you know, if you do me a favor, I'll scratch your back.

You scratch my back, I'll scratch your back, things like that.

You don't really find people that just love you for who you are.

And even when you go down, it's very hard.

It's a very hard thing.

Not saying that those people don't live, but it's very hard in today's society.

And so when you live in a society like that, and you get to a point where you feel like that you have to earn God's love by doing things for him and you're trying to micromanage your faith.

Like this has happened to me before where I'm like, okay, I've just got to keep up with this.

So God's going to love me the more I do for him.

So I do this, this, this, this, and this.

I'm trying to do things because I'm trying to earn his love, not because I love him.

So then I look for dopamine hits everywhere I can find.

And then that's when I make no-go decisions because I'm looking for dopamine hits and all these things because my faith is about how much Bryce can manhandle his strength and faith, not about my faith comes from what Jesus did for me.

And when I looked at him, He is a definition of love.

He loves me.

So I give him my life.

I give him my life.

I submit myself to him.

And through there, and through loving him, we see transformation in our life.

That's so relatable.

Yeah, people pleasing.

I used to be a big people pleaser.

Same here, bro.

Yeah, it's a dangerous road.

It's very dangerous.

It's crazy, dude.

And it's depressing because you're never really yourself.

No.

You're someone else.

You're a different person at each person you meet, and you never really know who you are.

And identity crisis is just big, man.

Absolutely.

So I know you've preached to a lot of different walks of life, like we mentioned earlier.

Has anyone hit you up later, like you actually changed my life and impacted me?

It, you know, it happens.

It's just different with people.

And the Bible tells us that we sow seeds.

So we, you know, introduce them to Jesus.

They've never

heard of it.

We water seeds.

Means people have heard about Jesus before and we just reintroduce the idea or affirm it.

But it says God brings an increase.

God is the one that saves people.

And so

the saving isn't up to me, but we do have people that hit us up and say, man, this has deeply impacted me.

We've also had people get angry and upset.

And that's just it.

Because, I mean, we live in a world where people want to live for themselves.

And if you introduce an ideology that combats the way that they want to live their life, of course, it's going to ruffle their feathers.

But then you also meet people who need something outside of themselves to save them.

And I believe that's where Jesus comes in.

And I really do believe he's the way, the truth, and the life.

So I can't just say, yeah, everyone says that they love us and everyone says that they are impacted.

I mean, sure, there is a lot of that.

There is also the other side of it where there's a lot of people that don't like what we're doing, that don't agree with what we're saying.

And you know what?

That's okay.

It's okay that people don't agree with me.

But if I really believe that Jesus is the truth and that he is the only way, then I'm going to do everything in my ability to tell everyone about him.

There's a famous magician that lives here in Vegas named Penn Gillette, Penn and Teller.

And Penn is a well-known atheist.

And he has a video clip of him where he goes, he says, you know, if you're a Christian and you believe that there is an afterlife after this life, and you believe that people can go to heaven or hell based on where they put their faith and trust in, then you better believe you better be telling everyone about him.

And he goes, I may not be a Christian, but if I believed what you guys believe, I would be telling everyone about him.

And that should be the heart posture.

If you really believe Jesus is the truth, you should tell everyone about him.

Because as a Christian, we believe, like I said earlier, that he died for everyone's sins.

But wherever you put your faith and trust in, God grants that wish.

And we should be very cautious.

Yeah.

I saw your last video.

You sat down with someone in the Islam religion, which is, I believe, the fastest growing one right now, right?

Yes.

What were your takeaways from that religion?

Yeah, man.

So, I mean, in what way, in what regard?

Like, what do you mean?

Like, why do you think it's growing so fast compared to the other religions?

well i think that it's growing so fast because according to islam um it's just you and the law so it's just you and him and that's your relationship that's it um outside of that um there's a lot of ordinances there's just a lot of religious structure so people look at it and say oh there's religious structure so you know there i need religious structure in my life this is good Most Muslims, I would say 99% of Muslims that I talked to, if not every Muslim I've talked to, they were raised Muslim.

Every single one of them were raised muslim and

i grew up christian but i rebelled against god so i didn't really care so before i became a christian i researched every religion and uh you know outside of islam people will say oh you know i i've researched every religion but seriously if we can come to a humble standpoint of going okay let me look at everything my issue with islam is the works

And it is the fact that in Islam, basically to be a good, devout Muslim from a basic standpoint, there's five pillars of Islam.

Giving alms to the poor, fasting, praying, saying that Allah is the only one God and He's the only true God, things like that.

There's five pillars, okay?

And

it's all about your deeds.

So in Sarah chapter 101 of the Quran, it says that Allah has a scale and he weighs your good and your bad.

And if you're good outweighs your bad, it's good.

And if you're bad, outweighs your good, not good.

So it's based on what you can do for Allah.

And I have a really big issue with that.

Because

in Buddhism and Hinduism, they worship thousands of gods and they're trying to reach enlightenment.

So it's about how good they do.

You know, don't get bad karma.

Don't do bad stuff or you're going to get reincarnated to something bad.

Right.

But, you know, do enough good and maybe you'll be enlightened.

You'll become one with God.

But there's a chance that you're probably going to get reincarnated and you just get as many tries as you want.

So with Buddhism and Hinduism, particularly Hinduism, because I know a little bit more about that, reincarnation, your life has no purpose if you get infinite tries until you become one.

That's my opinion.

So is if I get reincarnated, then it doesn't matter what I do in this lifetime.

And they would argue, well, yes, it does because it matters about how you get reincarnated.

But no matter what, I am going to get reincarnated.

So I get another try.

So there's no purpose in that life.

And Islam is about your works and a law ways you're good and you're bad.

So my issue with works is how much is enough?

How do you know what is enough?

If you ask a Muslim if they're going to heaven, they don't know.

They don't know.

Well, Christians don't either, right?

No, yes, I believe you can be confident.

I'm confident that I'm going to heaven because it's not about what I can do.

Like if I took us to the Los Angeles Lakers game, courtside seats, and we go up to the security guard and he stops you.

He goes, wait, Sean, why are you going in there?

I gave you two tickets and you're going.

Security stops you.

You're not going to say, well, it's because I'm a good person or, well, it's because I did a bunch of good things.

Security guard's like, I don't give a rip if you've done a bunch of good things.

Like, these are courtside tickets.

Why do you get in?

You say, because Bryce gave me these tickets.

That's why.

It's a free gift.

He goes, absolutely.

And then you let him because you got given tickets.

And with Islam, it's about how good you do.

Buddhism, Hinduism, how much good you can do.

And when I looked at my life, how broken I was, how lost I was, how hopeless I was, I said, if I'm a broken human being living in a broken world, how could I ever work to perfection?

It's possible.

What is enough?

And then I look at Jesus, who is perfection, wherever religion is climbing up the mountain, how well I can get to God.

How can I get to God by what I do?

So climbing the mountain, climb the mountain.

Jesus is the only God that comes down from the mountain and meets humankind where they're at.

It's powerful.

So it's not about what I can do to get to him.

Perfection humbled itself, came down, lived a perfect life.

So because perfection took on flesh and lived a perfect life, that means that he doesn't just tell me how to live my life.

He showed me how to live it.

I have deep respect for that.

When someone tells me what to do in my life, but they don't do it, it's hard for me to do it.

But when someone shows me how to do it, it makes me more prone to do it.

He showed me how to live my life.

Jesus says, I didn't come to be served, but to serve.

He's the example.

Then he lived in the same wicked world we live in, except didn't fall to temptation.

So he lived perfectly.

So when I go through struggles, if anyone knows me better than myself, it's Jesus.

If I feel alone in my struggles, Jesus understands how I feel.

So that's a beautiful thing.

We're reconciled to him.

He empathizes with us.

It's beautiful.

Then he dies the death that I deserve.

An innocent man taking a guilty man's punishment.

And that's what Tariq in that video, he had an issue with me.

He goes, you know what?

It just doesn't make sense to me why an innocent man would take a guilty man's punishment.

And you know what?

It doesn't make sense to me either.

But that's why I love Jesus because it was all out of love.

The Bible tells us that we look to Jesus Christ as the author and perfecter of our faith in Hebrews 12.

And it says, for the joy set before him, he endured the cross.

What was the joy?

What was the reason that kept Jesus on the cross?

Because if he was God, he could have gotten down.

But why did he stay?

What was the joy?

You and I were the joy.

And that's a beautiful thing to understand that we were the reason that he stayed on the cross.

Meaning that if I was the only human being on the planet to be sinful in a knucklehead, Jesus would have came and died for me.

It's a beautiful thing.

Now, every human being dies.

We all die.

So what separates Jesus from us?

He resurrected from the dead.

Paul's account in the scriptures tells us that he appeared to over 400 people, 400, 500 people, and in the flesh.

And for 40 days, he roamed the earth teaching, and then he ascended into heaven in the flesh.

So he defeated the very thing that is my punishment that separates me from God.

Sin separates me.

Death is my eternal punishment.

He defeated the very thing that is going to bound me forever.

It's powerful.

It is.

And so instead of working my way there, I looked at my life and said, man, I could never fix my broken heart.

How could I ever work to perfection?

How could I ever work to, in an Islamic case, Allah who's perfect, powerful?

How could I ever, as a Muslim, work work to perfection to please him enough?

How could I ever?

And to me, it seems impossible.

So that is my, that is my challenge to people of all religions, not just Muslims.

It's like, man, okay, as human beings, we need someone outside of ourselves to save us because we're broken human beings.

Yeah.

I think chasing perfection is dangerous.

It is very dangerous.

Have you ever, have you ever tried to chase perfection?

Yeah, I used to do that.

I have too.

Yeah, it never ends.

It's awful.

Even if you don't chase perfection, chase something like money.

Money's a dangerous one, too.

Money's dangerous.

And Jesus Jesus talks a lot about money.

And it's just interesting, man.

Like, you can make anything your God, but perfection is a dangerous one because if you chase perfection, you'll never achieve it.

Perfection and money, it's never ending.

No amount will ever satisfy you.

No, man, never.

Crazy stuff.

Yeah.

I know you said earlier you're not on social media often, but did you watch the Wes Huff Billy Carson debate?

I would have loved it.

I watched it the whole time I drove over here.

Oh, nice.

It was amazing.

Did you see it?

I did.

What did you think?

Well, I think they took it down now, but yeah, I watched it.

They took it down?

I think so because Billy sent him a seasoned assist.

oh wow you know whoa um but i thought it was interesting wes knows his stuff you can't deny that yeah man i think it's i think i mean i think that just goes to show that there's a lot of history to jesus you know and that's coming from someone who likes billy carson so i try to be objective yeah i thought wes won that debate you know yeah oh you're talking about the wes and billy debate that got taken down yeah i didn't watch that i watched the joe rogan episode oh i saw that one yeah i saw the joe rogan episode i watched that but um But yeah, it was really interesting.

And I just loved him because he's so gentle.

He's just so kind.

Like he's just like, he's just himself.

He loves his stuff, man.

Yeah.

I like watching those debates.

Alex O'Connor, another person I watch.

Yep.

He's, he's awesome.

I like listening to his stuff as well.

I think it's great.

Yeah.

Oh, so you like him even though he's not Christian?

Yeah, bro.

I mean, I love all people.

I love all people despite they're Christian.

I mean, you know, if I, if I really believe Jesus is the truth and I love people, I'm going to tell them Jesus.

And I also think it's very interesting to hear other people's perspectives.

Why do you believe in what you believe?

Things like that.

It's a healthy thing.

One of my Bible teachers in high school, he taught me something.

He said, be a good, respectful skeptic.

That means like ask questions.

Why do do you believe what you believe why do you say what you believe and so i i think it's nice to see other people's perspectives and when i hear people that don't believe in jesus and they ask me questions hard questions it challenges me to go okay let me dive into my faith see if i can find an answer and so that's like for example like i i'm not the most knowledgeable about islam but i went to a mosque and i talked to an imam which is like the pastor of a church the leader of a mosque because I wanted to put myself in a position to challenge myself.

And I know I don't know everything, but if he says things I don't understand, I'm going to do my best to go home and research it, you know?

And I think we got to be good, respectful skeptics here, but I'm very confident and 100% positive that Jesus is the truth.

So I'm not wavering on that.

But when people challenge me, it makes me go home and learn more.

I think it's beautiful.

I got to set up some debates for you this year.

Come on, bro.

Well, I may not be the best debater, but

I'll do my best.

I think debates are a great way of

kind of...

changing the tides almost because you get both perspectives and then the viewer can decide what they lean towards.

For sure.

Yeah, I think that's great.

i especially like debates when people are open-minded i think it's very hard to have you know you can't uh you can't um progress in society if you have closed-minded conversations yeah i think having open-minded conversations are good for sure um do you believe there's demons walking amongst us right now What do you mean when you say demons walking amongst us?

Like you hear these terms like possession, you hear them like in Hollywood.

Like, do you believe they're like in human bodies?

Like, what's your take on demonic stuff?

Well, demons are very real and they can oppress people and possess people.

So oppress mean attempt to influence, torture people, and possess people, mean literally live inside of them.

Here's the thing.

If you go to Africa and you go to a village in Africa, you've got people like witch doctors and the local people there will say, oh, demons are real.

We've seen them.

I've heard stories in Africa in villages where there's like a snake demon.

where these witches will cast a spell on a vine and it turns into a snake.

I've heard so many stories and it goes and it'll go after Christians.

And when they kill it in this village, they cut the head and they cut cut it open and it's just hollow on the inside.

There's no organs or anything because it was a vine.

They cast a spell on it.

And that's how they determine if it's the demon or not.

I've heard so many stories.

Go to Africa.

You're going to say, yes, spiritual Rome is real.

Demons are real.

Satan's real.

All these things.

When you come to America, you don't really hear about it a lot.

Sean, why do you think we don't hear about it a lot?

Do you think it's intentionally suppressed?

In America.

Why do you, well, I don't think it's necessarily intentionally suppressed, but why do you think personally, I mean, you brought it up.

So I...

I actually, so in my world, I do hear about it, but I understand what you're saying.

The general person is not just casually hearing about demons.

Right, right.

Yeah.

Most people do.

I mean, in LA, you definitely see it.

I could tell you some crazy stories about personal experiences that I've had just off camera.

Yeah.

But I believe that the reason that we don't experience that side of spirituality a lot is because Satan doesn't need to do it here.

We're distracted by money, fame, and entertainment.

And Satan doesn't have to flamboyantly go, oh, I'm here to get us to fall for his tricks.

Because he's Satan's not this guy with devil horns.

He's not red red with devil horns and a pitchfork.

Okay.

He's a handsome man.

He's seductive.

He's going to entice you.

He's going to come in ways that you least expect it.

He's going to appeal to Bryce's needs and Sean's needs.

And I think it's a beautiful thing about Jesus.

He doesn't always give us what we want.

Sorry, that's what Satan does.

He appeals to our wants.

Jesus doesn't always give me what I want, but he gives me what I need.

He takes care of his children.

And so Satan's going to be seductive and things like that.

But that stuff is real.

I can tell you stories about stuff I've experienced here in America, particularly in Los Angeles that I've seen a lot more of.

But why do you think it's so prevalent in Los Angeles?

Man, there's just everything out there.

You know, I grew up in the South and they call it the Bible Belt.

Every person I talked to claimed to be Christian just because they went to church.

And, you know, when you come to LA, you got everything out here.

I mean, you've seen it.

All those people that we've talked to, majority of them have been in LA, Satanists, witches,

things like that.

All these people, all these different beliefs.

And Christianity isn't necessarily a prominent religion here in California.

And so when you have all these people believing different things, accessing the spiritual realm and things like that, there's going to be chaos and there's going to be signs.

And

I've seen, I've recorded encounters with people that have manifested demons towards me.

Damn.

I could tell you stories that I don't have on camera that are just like wild.

But you know what I do know?

is that they listen to the name of Jesus.

They have to be obedient to the name of Jesus.

I have heard that works.

You have to when you encounter demon, you pray in the name of Jesus, right?

Well, absolutely.

Well, you know, he's the king of the universe.

He's the Lord overall.

Satan's just the little G, little G God of this world.

Yeah.

That's it.

He can't defeat Jesus.

He tried.

He's already defeated.

Jesus defeated him on the cross.

Because what happened was he dies on the cross and they think they've got him.

And then he defeats death.

That's crazy.

So he's defeated Satan.

The battle's already won.

Satan's issue isn't, oh my gosh, like I've got to stop Jesus.

Satan's issue is I got to stop people from from finding freedom in Jesus.

So I'm going to bind them to the things of this world, the lusts of the world, the money, the fame, the status, the sex, the drugs, the alcohol.

So he's seductive.

He's, he's, he entices us, you know, and I think the Bible says, submit to God, resist the devil, and he'll flee from you.

How do we resist the devil?

By just submitting to God.

We submit to God.

We naturally resist the devil and he flees from us.

But temptation is inevitable.

How do we overcome temptation?

Through Jesus Christ, the strength of the Spirit of God.

That sounds very real, man.

Demons are real.

I agree.

Now, this topic, this may be where we differ the most but i wanted to bring this up before we wrap up um psychics

i know christians are not the biggest fan of psychics right yeah what do you think about psychics i have a psychic um we have a monthly call and uh i think they're i think the right one could help but i know there's a lot of bs in that space too what do you what is your purpose of seeking out a psychic uh

i use it for all sorts of reasons you know personal relationships they vet people for me if they're good or bad what their intentions are um In business settings, I ask some business questions.

I guess just answering questions that I don't have the answers to would be if I had to sum it down.

Sure.

Do you think that?

Do you think that have these psychics ever given you a wrong answer before?

Yes.

Okay.

And how long have you been seeing a psychic?

I'd say about a little over a year.

What's your appeal to the psychic?

Like what makes you trust a psychic enough to call a psychic?

Oh, yeah, that's a great question.

So once, I guess a few months in, a few of the things she said actually came to light.

So that's what kind of sold me, I'd say.

Gotcha.

And so I guess you saw the spiritual side of it.

You were like, whoa, this is crazy.

And

I think that's a big thing with a lot of people.

You see a spiritual side to things, something that naturally doesn't make sense, right?

And you go, whoa, how'd you know that?

Right.

So here's my take.

on psychics.

Okay.

The Old Testament talks a lot about psychics.

Sometimes they call them magicians.

There was even a point in the New Testament in the book of Acts where this guy named Simeon,

he was a magician.

He tried to buy the Holy Spirit because he wanted to prostitute the gift.

He wanted to use the Holy Spirit for his gain.

And he got rebuked hard.

He got corrected.

So my issue with psychics is, who are they talking to to get this information?

What does a psychic say?

Have you ever asked your psychic who they call it?

She says spirit.

She said, let me talk to spirit.

I don't know.

That could be ambiguous.

I'm not sure.

Yeah.

So like a spiritual realm, they access a spiritual realm.

Okay.

Well, from the Christian standpoint, if I believe in a spiritual realm, why would I need to go to a psychic that talks to spirits when I have God himself that I can communicate with?

Right.

Okay.

So if I talk to anyone but God, then what am I talking to?

It'd be a demon.

So here's the reality, man.

Like, it's kind of what I said earlier.

Demons know what we want.

Satan knows what he wants.

And when I was talking, I don't know if you saw that video I did with a Satanist.

His name was Chad.

He was like, man, Satan gives me everything I want.

He takes care of me.

And I looked at him and I said, oh, I believe that he takes care of you.

I believe it.

I bet he gives you what you want.

And I think it's the difference with Jesus because he knows what I need.

If God gave me everything I wanted, I would be so corrupt.

I'd be lost.

My head'd be screwed off loose.

I'd be freaking out.

So

in my opinion, according to a Christian perspective, if you're not talking to Jesus, you're talking to demons.

Now, there are some psyches that say, oh, you know, I talk to white energy.

I only use white energy.

I don't cast spells.

It doesn't matter what you say, what you call it.

The truth is, are you either talking to the Holy Spirit or are you talking to the devil?

So, you don't think there's an in-between?

Because some say they talk to angels, some say they talk to different entities.

So, you don't think it's either like a demon or God is basically what you're saying?

Absolutely not.

And this is why, you know, you have times in the Bible where angels have communicated to human beings, but there are times where angels have appeared to people in scripture and they fall on their knees to worship them and they say, Don't worship me.

Stop worshiping me.

Only worship Jesus.

And I think it's very important to recognize that angels, holy created beings, they, they ask not to be worshipped.

And so, okay, if they are asking not to be worshiped and we only worship Jesus, whenever you pray to something that's not Jesus, you're exalting that thing.

You're worshiping it.

So I think we have to be careful who we play with here.

We have to be careful who we call upon.

And I think like when it comes to like, when I need to make decisions, I pray, ask God where.

like what I need to do in situations.

And I follow the peace of the Lord.

When you surrender your life to Jesus, you receive the Holy Spirit and he's the seal on your heart so that you know that you know that you know.

And John 14 tells us that the Holy Spirit is there to teach us things and bring us conviction.

And God wants us to honor him in every decision you make.

So in your circumstance, instead of calling a psychic, you say, hey, God, what should I do about this business perspective?

Or, hey, God, I had a really good month financially this month.

What do you want me to do with your money so that I don't love my money more than I love you, God?

Or, hey, what should I do in this situation?

What should I do in this situation?

And the beautiful thing about Jesus is if you make a decision believing that he's the one leading you, if you make the right decision, you'll know.

and then you'll strengthen that muscle of listening to his voice and discerning his voice and if you make the wrong decision but you believe jesus was leading you there there's so much grace because you made the decision thinking that jesus was leading you there and so that's my challenge to people that go to psychics man because they're talking to a spiritual realm they're talking to demons and if you get things if you get what you want all the time it's a bad thing and that's why that's why i would argue like man you know going to psychics man you you know do do a love spell so that this person falls in love with me well that person might really corrupt you that person might really lead you down the wrong path you know i've heard a lot of psychics they do love spells or i'm not a fan of that yeah that's that's why i'm saying spells i'm not a fan of because then you're putting the other party at in that situation without them knowing yeah so i think i i think like when it comes to like you're you know you're making decisions like have you ever prayed to jesus when i was younger yeah i grew up christian you know when did you stop like kind of praying to jesus uh i'd say like when my parents got divorced so uh fourth fifth grade okay and then since then you kind of really haven't dabbled in having dabbled i used to pray almost every day sometimes i would see instant results from the prayers.

Like my stomach would hurt.

I would pray to, it sounds silly, but like I would pray, like make this ache go away and it would go away pretty quick.

No, I believe that.

Have you seen us per week pray for healing for people and Jesus does that?

I believe he does that.

Yeah, I think I challenge you.

Like maybe the next few times you've got decisions to make, ask Jesus what to do.

Okay.

Yeah, I'm open to this stuff, man.

Yeah, bro.

I think, I think it'd really help.

I mean, he's the God of the universe.

He knows you better than you know yourself.

So I think he'd know what to do.

I love him, man.

Bryce, it's been really fun, dude.
