Relation because a lot of the people they're in relationships.
You serious?
Yeah, yeah.
So I'd say most stars are actually have boyfriends or girlfriends outside.
No way.
So, you know, I've had days I show up set and a girl's fighting with her boyfriend.
She brings that to set.
It makes my day tough because someone's like, you know, I'm very like in tune with people's feelings.
Yeah, yeah.
So I can, you know, if they're having an off day, I got to be able to fight through that.
Yeah.

And here's the episode.
Ladies and gentlemen, we got Spencer Barrick here today, aka Damon Dice.
How's it going?
It's going great, man.
How's it work been lately?
It works been good.
It's keeping me young.
That's the fountain of youth.
How often are you filming?
Right now I'm about 10 to 12 scenes a month.
Okay.
And are those all shot in like a short period of time?
Or do you spend a lot of time?
Usually I'll do like a week on, week off.
Okay.
So this is my, actually my week on starts tomorrow for the next few days, next five days.
Oh, you'll be busy.
Yeah.
So
today's my kind of prep day.
And
I treat my job as I've been an athlete my whole life.
Yeah.
So I look at what I do as being a professional athlete of sex.
You got to be in good out of shape, you know?
Yeah, it's you definitely don't want to be out of shape on set.
Not only is it the aesthetics of it, but it's
conditioning, flexibility,
just overall strength and just like, what's that?
Stamina.
Stamina, yeah.
Yeah.
Because like if you're the scenes that we're doing on set are like 30 to 45 minutes of like it's hardcore too for the most part.
So it's like on average, people are going like, yeah, five, ten minutes.
Bro.
So it's like, we got to have that stamina and that endurance to really, you know, take it that extra.
Yeah.
How can guys watching this increase their endurance?
Because most guys last two, three minutes.
Yeah.
So a few tips for guys.
Again, being an athlete, what you put in your body, the fuel you put in your body.
So that really matters.
Like you can't be eating like fatty foods, sugars, alcohols, eating clean, eating healthy, a lot of fruits and veggies because it helps with blood flow.
Oh, yeah.
Some fruits and vegetables that kind of help me out with stamina and endurance are
celery juice is actually my secret.
Really?
Yeah.
So celery juice increases blood flow.
It also increases the
load size.
Oh.
Did I say that?
Okay.
Interesting.
I'm going to try that out.
And watermelon
has something called lycopene in it, which also gives you a little extra to go.
I have heard that about watermelon, actually.
Yeah.
So I just compare a lot to being an athlete and staying hydrated is the biggest thing because a lot of guys...
you know, they'll just go fast out the gates.
They'll get gassed.
And once you're like gassed, you start getting hot and overheating.
That's when you lose that.
Bro, sometimes you cramp up if you're not hydrating.
I've had cramps too.
Yeah, cramps happen.
I've had shoots where like you cramped up, cramped the middle set.
Oh, it's tough, but yeah, you got to fight through it sometimes, you know?
Yeah.
Has there been any shoots where you just couldn't get turned on?
Well, I've shot over 1,200 scenes professionally
in my, this is my 10th year.
Yeah.
Yeah, there's been some scenes that have been tough.
It's again, like, it's 90% mental.
I'd say 10% physical with it.
Okay.
because every
person I shoot with you know they might be having a bad day coming in like you know maybe they're their dog died or something or like you know they're having relationship because some of a lot of the people they're in relationships you serious yeah so I'd say most are actually have boyfriends or girlfriends outside no way so you know I've had days I show up set and a girl's fighting with her boyfriend she brings that to set it makes my day tough because Someone's like, you know, I'm very like in tune with people's feelings.
Yeah, yeah.
So I can, you know, if they're having an off day i gotta be able to fight through that yeah um so
also someone i grew up watching very heavily was michael jordan and kobe bryant
um so i i've really kind of encapsulated their mentality and the mamba mentality in the bedroom yeah so it's like you know if if i'm not all there like say like you know the girl's having an off day and she's just you know not feeling it like i gotta kind of just block that out and just make sure that I'm doing the best scene I can do and making sure she's having a good time and she's comfortable and set.
Wow.
That's it.
So yeah, it's definitely
tough.
The mentality side of it, it's like sometimes in Vegas in the summer, I'm shooting a scene.
It's 100 degrees outside, 100 degrees plus.
You know, I got to really tune in and block everything out.
It's like I'm sweating, I'm dying, but I'm just like, you know, I got to tough it out.
It's definitely mental fortitude with some of the things we do.
How much creative control do you have on set now that you've established a name?
Yeah, so it just really depends on the company.
Creative control with the scene.
So a lot of the times in shoots and scenes, we will do still pictures.
So we'll take actual pictures of the sex positions.
It's kind of a rehearsal or a walkthrough, basically.
So it's kind of like you're going to a football game on a Sunday.
You do a walkthrough of your plays.
So we'll do a walkthrough of the positions that we're going to do.
from start to finish and we'll take pictures of it.
Wow.
That'll go in like the thumbnails on the websites and on social media.
So we'll do a walkthrough and then we will do the video after that.
Wow, I didn't know that.
Yeah, so a lot of the times it'll more or less be scripted on the positions we're going to do in what order.
There's certain companies, one of the companies I've been shooting for a lot lately is called Belessa, which is a newer,
it's about five years old.
It's the number one adult site for women in the world.
It's about 95% women that use that website.
So, for that company, it's not scripted positions.
The directors are like, they tell us to have sex on how we'd have sex at home.
Oh, nice.
So it's like not following any certain protocol.
Like we just as performers, we just do what we would normally do at home.
Nice.
So you like that more?
I like that more because it's more natural.
Yeah.
A lot of what a lot of people don't realize on sets and porn in general, it's not real life sex.
Right, right.
So I'll tell people, like, if they're like trying to learn about sex, don't watch.
Because a lot of things that I'm doing for like browsers and a lot of these sites, it's like very acrobatic and I'm flipping the girl over, tossing them around.
It's not, it's definitely not at home sex.
Yeah, and a lot of people do learn from it.
Yeah, and like I would say,
you know, you can learn some things, but
don't
professional, don't try this at home type thing.
But yeah, it's just different nuances.
Like even again, like the sports analogy, like I've watched other performers in the past to see what they do, like some of the top guys, the guys that have won the AVN Performer of the Year.
So I'm learning from, I've learned from the best watching them or even like, you know, them giving me advice over the years.
Nice.
So it's definitely a learning curve to that.
How do you win that?
Is that like fan votes?
So for the AVN and XBiz,
it's like press and panels.
Yeah.
So the media channels.
It's basically like Grammys or Emmys.
Oh, God.
Yeah.
So it's not a fan vote.
They do have a fan vote aspect, but it's like the writers that are in the adult industry, the editors, they kind of have their own little guild in which they vote the Performers of the Year.
Have you ever won that?
I've never won Perform of the Year.
I've been nominated a bunch of times.
This year, I have nine nominations.
Damn, you're killing it.
Yeah, so for the award season comp this year, I have several scenes nominated for best sex scene.
Wow.
Best threesome scene, best VR scene.
VR scene.
Virtual reality.
So that's a thing?
Yeah, so imagine this is the camera right here.
It's basically POV, but in virtual reality.
Wow.
So like all the actions going on in front of me.
Oh, so you put on the goggles?
No.
So this is, say, this is a camera right here.
Yeah.
And
the girl is here.
My partner's here.
So it's all like, it's basically a POV.
Oh, wow.
But it's high-tech.
Your point of view.
Yeah.
So the consumer, they're putting on the VR goggles to actually watch that.
Right.
Which is pretty wild.
Yeah.
So they think they're having sex, basically.
Yeah, it's you're you're up in it.
Wow.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Is that like a hot, like what are the hottest categories right now, you think?
I would say VR.
It's been been around for i've been shooting vr for like seven years now oh really yeah i wouldn't say because that's the thing it's like even with technology and vr in general like it's the hardware adoption like a piece of like good hardware like the oculus costs i guess like five hundred to a thousand dollars yeah yeah so that's not a mass uh mass product where a lot of people have it so it's kind of niche yeah um
i mean it's easier for someone to just go on their laptop or their phone and watch it like that yeah you know at such a lower barrier of cost yeah so what do you think gets gets like what gets so what's hot?
What's hot now?
I do know that in 2021 or 22, the number one trending, because I don't know if you're familiar with every year they do the top trending categories on
top trending searches and what people are watching every year.
They even do it state by state.
So like it's it's crazy.
If you look at the map sometime of like top trending things on in the U.S., like just the things in the different states is just mind-blowing.
The things that people in Alabama watch compared to the things that people in Utah watch is just like,
and there's some things on there.
It's like, what?
Like, people actually watch this.
The stepsister stuff.
Yeah, the stepsister stuff.
Yeah, that's, I'd say that was bigger.
The kind of taboo and family style stuff was bigger about five years ago.
Okay.
Right now, I'd say a big trend is actually romance.
Romance.
Romance is making a big content right now.
Just like real authentic romance.
Real authentic romance.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
So that was one of the top trending, I believe, a year or two ago.
Wow.
Um, and that's kind of a Balessa one where it's like more realistic, it's more they call it ethical
because it's just

Click the application link below, and here's the episode, guys.
It's not scripted as much as just real life.
Like, it's like what the performers would do naturally.
The scripted stuff is so whack to me, dude.
Yeah, it's cheesy.
I've done some cheesy on the internet.
I really have.
It's like, looking back, I don't regret anything, but there's definitely some shoes I'm like, damn.
Like the police officer one?
You can name it.
I've been that.
You've done it.
Yeah, you
name off 10 things.
Like, yeah, police officer, dentist, teacher.
Doctor.
Doctor.
You name it, man.
I've been a space alien.
I've been stepbrother.
Now I'm like, you know, I'm a little older.
I'm 35.
Now I'm playing some stepdad roles.
Have you done the furries?
No furries, but I did shoot a Christmas special like a year and a half ago.
Yeah.
And they dressed me up like Rudolph.
I might count that, dude.
And I was like, when I showed for the movie,
I didn't know I was going to be dressed up like Rudolph.
They're like, here's your costume.
Like, really?
And I was like, God, I hope no one sees this.
And then that scene got nominated for
one of the scenes of the year for like parody.
I'm like, oh, God.
And they started blasting it, promoting it.
I'm like, here's me in a reindeer costume.
Like, great.
That's going to be on the internet forever.
So, what was the girl wearing?
I think for that movie, that was with Miss Claws.
So, she was Miss Claws, and you were a reindeer.
Yeah, there was like a Miss Claws.
There were some elves involved.
That's some bestiality.
I guess, but it wasn't like, yeah, it was kind of, I mean, it's parody.
Yeah.
What's the wildest?
Was that the wildest thing you've done or is there crazier?
Oh, the wildest thing.
Jesus.
What can I say on camera?
I haven't done anything illegal.
The wildest thing I've done on camera,
wildest shoot.
1,200 shoots.
It's hard to do.
I know, that's what I'm saying.
It all blends in at this point, right?
This one time I
so they a lot of the parodies are like kind of based on like Marvel movies.
Yeah.
Um so this one shoot, it was a feature movie for uh Wicked, and it was the movie was Supergirl, like based off Supergirl.
And I was brainiac, if you're familiar with that character.
Brainiac.
No, I haven't.
So he's basically a green space alien that uses his brain only to like that's his superpower.
Oh, yeah.
He talks like through his brain.
Telekinesis.
So he does that.
So for that, I was in hair and makeup for six hours.
Holy shit.
So for that, they shaved my head completely bald.
Sheesh.
Painting me head to toe in green.
And like, I had like custom-made armor and like, I had these
contact lenses in.
I was completely aliened out.
Please tell me you got a bag for that, at least.
Yeah.
Well, this was like one of the first features I did.
I thought I got paid a lot at that time, but I was like, I was like, eh.
It's all relative.
Yeah, it's all relative.
So there's definitely in the industry different, I guess, kind of pay levels or pay grades with that.
So, when I first started out, man,
I was like, when I was making like $200, $300 a scene, I was like, damn, that's a lot of money at that time, you know, 10 years ago,
being a broke entrepreneur, I was like, that's good money.
So now it's like, I'm not going to leave the house for anything less than a thousand.
Yeah, the top ones make a lot.
Like, they're making millions, right?
The top, top female are.
Oh, female.
Yeah.
The adult industry,
like the most consumers are men.
Yeah.
So
the women are the the ones, the breadwinners per se.
Men can, we can shoot more.
So say like,
you know, some guys are shooting 20 days a month.
I used to like five years ago shooting 20 days a month, but I'm getting too old.
I got my businesses I'm working on too, so I don't have like the time to be shooting that much.
So it's a volume game for guys, you're saying?
Yeah.
So like the women can't shoot as much per month because they, you know,
take in a pounding like that, I guess, a lot.
You know, these guys, a lot of the guys in the industry are pretty well endowed.
So, you know, you can only take that so much as a female.
You have their cycles in it as well.
Right.
Oh, yeah.
So, you know, they're losing a few days to a week from that.
Yeah, I didn't even think about that, actually.
Some girls still have sex on their period, too.
Yeah, they do.
And here's a trick that the industry has for if a girl's on her period sometimes and she still wants to shoot, they'll put a makeup sponge
up there.
It blocks the bleeding, stops.
But she won't feel it, right?
Sometimes you can feel it.
Wow.
Sometimes you can't.
Sometimes it's a little tug of war with the sponge in there.
That's kind of gross.
Yeah,
I guess you get used to it.
Oh, God.
But yes, it's a volume game.
So
the men can shoot more.
Yeah.
We're getting paid a little less, but
I guess for professional shooting, it kind of equals out for the top-level guys and girls.
OnlyFans, that's where the real difference makers are at.
That's what I heard.
You know, Some of my peers are making six figures, quarter million a month.
Jeez.
I don't know any guys making that.
Yeah.
Actually, Taiga, right?
Tyga.
Yeah.
That's about it.
Tyga's doing that, but he's a
celebrity mainstream artist.
For actual male.
Yeah.
What about
what's his name?
The top male?
Johnny Sen.
Is he not on that?
Yeah, Johnny Senns is probably making six figures a month on OnlyFans, but he's like the Michael Jordan.
So it's like the goat, right?
Yeah.
And why,
just kind of looking at the marketing aspect of why Johnny Sins really blew up, kind of a case study.
So Johnny Sins, he's been in the industry for, I don't want, I'd say like 15 years now.
Yeah.
And when he came on the scene is when social media, Instagram, Twitter first kind of came on.
Right.
So when Instagram and Twitter were starting up in like, was it 2010, 11-ish?
I was in high school.
It was a while ago.
Yeah.
In that, in that range, he was like the top at that time.
Saw these memes, and he's got a very unique look, bald head, good-looking guy.
So,
you know, he, when the memes first started, like, he was like one of the first memes ever.
So, Johnny Sins was like on that wave of virality and social media.
Yeah.
So, he's just kind of stuck.
Like, he's been there since that.
And even with like Michael Jordan, they, with athletes, they were never really endorsing athletes like that.
Athletes weren't the brand.
You know, like Michael Jordan was the first one to really take it to the next level and have his own shoe, have his own product and have like a brand propped up off of his name.
Yeah.
So it was like a Michael Jordan effect.
Like that's kind of how I look at it.
Absolutely.
How often do you have to get tested?
So we get tested every 12 to 14 days.
Wow.
Yeah.
So actually I have to test today after this.
I got to go.
So for the pre-test.
Yeah.
So we have to test every 12 to 14 days.
That's where I'm like, one of the misconceptions with the adult industry is like us as adult stars, we're dirty or we're like walking STDs.
We're actually like a safer pool of like people to have sex with than like the general population.
Wow.
Yeah, because we're all self-police.
We all test.
So every time I shoot a scene, my co-star has to be tested within the 12 to 14-day period.
Yeah.
And we're getting blood taken.
Yeah, what's a blood test?
Blood test, urine,
oral swabs as well.
It's intense, man.
Yeah, so it's like we're testing for everything under the sun.
Wow.
Yeah.
You mentioned the.
No, go ahead.
Yeah.
So it's a very safe, very like strict protocol
with that.
Wow, yeah.
Do you have any limits on set?
Like, is there certain things you won't do?
Uh, yeah, certain things I won't do.
Um,
I don't like doing things that degrade women.
Okay.
Like, I like to be like, you know, empowering women.
So I'm not like slapping them, throwing them around.
Like, because I do realize that younger people can be watching, like, younger, like, you know, 18, 19.
Younger people can be watching that.
And I don't want to be giving off something that's going to, you know, just has that bad vibe.
Like, I want to do things that, you know, again, I tell people not to watch to learn what to do in the bedroom.
But if your people are watching, like, I want to be able to set like somewhat of a good example.
Yeah.
And to show things that might work in the bedroom for them.
Yeah.
So yeah, anything too aggressive.
But that's the thing also, like, a big nuance of is consent.
Because there are certain companies like kink.com, if you're familiar with that, which is like, like hardcore BDSM, like bondage, whips, like people are actually like getting smacked.
And like, you know,
yeah, oh, 100%.
So you're signing waivers for that.
You sign waivers.
We sign waivers for every shoot we do.
That's another thing with the adult industry is we sign 2257s, which you know shows that we are of age.
So there's no worries with like sex trafficking or people underage shooting.
It's very restrictive in that aspect of it.
Before every shoot, we do
a checklist of things, like do's and don'ts, we call it.
So, we, like, me and my performer, co-scene partner, will sit there and we'll go down a list of 50 different things.
And, you know, like, I like this.
I don't like this
hair pulling.
Like, how hard can I pull your hair?
So, we really discuss it in depth
before a scene.
I didn't know that.
It didn't used to be like that because there were some instances, you know, over the past decade where there were some performers that got a little aggressive.
And those
do's and don'ts weren't really discussed beforehand.
Got it.
So with this, there's no gray area because we discussed it beforehand.
It's all
recorded on camera.
Like it's very safe.
So no boundaries are pushed where anyone's uncomfortable.
Got it.
And will you shoot with other guys or are you only girls?
I only have sex with women, yeah.
Okay.
But like
yeah, yeah, three ways.
I've done that.
Okay.
Yeah.
So you'll do that, but just not like other s ⁇ .
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel that.
Yeah.
Those three ways, I feel like those get a ton of views.
Yeah.
The three ways get a bunch of views.
It's different
because people are like, how do you like,
I don't know, because like a lot of the guys in the industry were like friends, yeah, we're homies.
So it's just like you're doing that with a homie.
Like it's not like a random dude.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I feel like if it was a random, it'd be a little weird.
Yeah, it's a little weird because that's like I'm kind of particular on like who I'll do scenes like that with.
If it's like some random dude, I don't know or a new guy, like, I don't know.
You're not doing it.
Yeah, like, and I just don't know.
Like, a lot of the guys in the industry, like, were a lot of the top guys in the industry or have been around for a long time.
Yeah, like even me and at 10 years there's a handful of guys that have been around for 20 plus years that are like elite like top level performers.
Yeah, you know
I'd say for every solid male performer in the industry, there's like 50 girls.
Wow.
So we're a very small pool very like tight-knit.
It's funny because I have a lot of friends that are pro athletes.
Yeah.
And they're just so like, how do you do this?
Like it's like our group of the elite performers is smaller than like
say like NBA all-stars or NFL all-stars.
It's that small?
Yeah, because there's it's not yeah, it's I'd say like 15 to 20 guys are like I'd say elite in the industry.
I feel like it's tough as a guy to make a name for yourself in that industry.
It is.
It took me
again 10 years in.
It took me about, I'd say like
four or five years to really,
I was making moves like three, four years in, but like I'd say I felt like myself personally, I made it like five years in.
And what was that?
Was it a specific moment?
Yeah.
So, um, my favorite adult star when I was in college was Rachel Starr.
Yeah.
Um, and then I shot a scene with her on hole.
I remember it was a Halloween scene, and like, I shot, I shot with her, and I was like, oh my god, I'm shooting with like the girl that I used to love watching.
So that was my I made it moment when I shot with Rachel Starr.
Nice.
Another I made it moment was definitely shooting with like legends like Alexis Texas,
like Brandy Love,
Asa Akira.
Damn, these are some big names, man.
Yeah, Lexis Fox.
I mean, and you name it.
Wow.
Dude, that's crazy.
People used to watch you're working with now.
Yeah, it's wild.
And it's just like, again, like the athletes.
They're playing against guys that they grew up watching.
That's true, LeBron, all the time.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
And do you get super nervous when it's someone you used to watch?
Yeah.
So
when I shot with Rachel Starr, I was like,
I was telling myself, like, don't be a fanboy.
Don't just act cool, play cool.
I was like, hype myself up.
So, when I met her for the first time in person and we were about to shoot the scene, I was like, hi, I'm, because my stage name is Damon Dice.
I'm like, I'm Damon.
What's your name?
Like, I just, I pretended I didn't know who the f she was.
It's like, obviously, it's Rachel Starr.
So, like, I just like, times like that, again, like, the first time I shot with like Alexis Texas, legend.
Like, I just
play cool.
Cause like on the inside, like, I'm like, oh my God, this is like a legend.
Yeah.
So, again, it's, you just got to breathe.
Breathing is a very important aspect in this industry.
Like, that's another tip I tell a lot of guys is
focus on your breath and your breathing.
Yeah.
Because if you kind of start hyperventilating or lose your breath, people, when they get nervous, they have shortness of breath.
Right.
When you're short of breath or you're kind of not calm here, that affects blood flow and your...
activity down there.
Interesting.
So you're saying to take deeper breaths?
Yeah, so I'm actually into meditation.
Yeah.
Since I've been practicing meditation for the past five years now, like it's significantly helped out my performance.
Damn, really?
Yeah, because there's a lot of those times, like I said, you know,
say we're shooting a scene outside in the desert 100 degrees, like I feel like I'm a die.
Right.
But, you know, me breathing kind of like, all right, you're okay.
You're going to make it through.
So just like that tuning out and really kind of focusing and breath is very important because once you lose your breath, you lose your wood.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's good advice, man.
Some people, like we said earlier, last like two minutes.
Yeah.
So like a lot of people,
you know, that's one of the biggest issues.
It's like one of the easiest things they can fix.
Because like if you're, you know, think of a time where you hooked up with a girl for the first time, like you're nervous.
You're like,
you get those nerves.
For sure.
So whether it's like your public speaking or giving a presentation or even for sex, like.
Taking deep breaths, gathering yourself, collecting yourself,
it helps out a lot.
Yeah, that makes sense.
How tough is dating with your profession?
It makes it tough.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I've dated both girls that are adult stars and I've dated girls that are not adult stars while I've been in the industry.
Both have their pros and cons.
It just makes it tougher overall.
Because me personally, like I'm a lover boy.
Like I love,
I love love.
Like I really do.
And it makes it tough.
to share.
You know, I've had times where like I lived with a partner
and I would go to work work and I'd go to a shoot and then I'd come home from my shoot.
She's like, how's your day at work?
I'm like, how do I, and if it was a really good day, I'm like, how do I answer this?
Right.
That's her question.
It's tough, man.
Yeah.
So it's like, yeah.
So
yeah, so it definitely, it definitely makes it tough.
That's cool.
It's definitely a serious relationship.
But again, some, like everyone's made differently.
Yeah.
You know, like, Some people are into monogamy, some people aren't.
Like, it's, there's so many different, I mean, just looking at the adult industry and the people that are in it, again, like I said, like a lot of people are dating, a lot of people are married with kids.
Yeah.
You know, so people can separate work and their private life, but it's definitely difficult.
It's more difficult than, I'd say, your regular nine-to-five job.
I don't think I can do it, dude.
Yeah, it's to separate that.
Yeah, it's tough.
It's tough.
It's not easy.
I'm not going to, not going to fake.
Like, it's not easy to.
I just don't want to share, dude.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, I don't want to share my
either.
So it's like, and I have, when I first got in, I I dated a girl that was pretty big in the industry.
And like, damn, my girl's getting railed out right now.
God,
this sucks.
It sounds like you're a student of the game.
Like, you really studied how to get there and you implemented it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It definitely has its nuances.
It's, it's a very unique industry.
And it's, it's definitely developed.
It's a lot different now than it was when I got in 10 years ago.
Oh, yeah.
When I got in 10 years ago, there wasn't OnlyFans.
There wasn't like self-content creation like that.
So we, as performers, were at the mercy of these big box companies or the studios like Wicked or Digital Playground.
Our work was only depending on if we got booked.
And most of us have agents.
Actually, I haven't had an agent for six years now, so I'm self-independent.
But a lot of the performers have agents, and it's basically the same business model as like Hollywood.
Right.
They take 20%.
Yeah, 10 to 20%, do the deals, set up the shoots.
But now
over the past five,
especially over the past three years since and OnlyFans really blew up, a lot of the performers are now self-sufficient.
They don't need to rely on shooting for these big brands or these companies to perform.
Right.
Like there's no, now there's a lot of the big name
that they don't even shoot professionally anymore because they're making more from home doing their OnlyFans.
Wow.
So why go to set?
Why, you know, be on set all day and
put your body on the line when you can just be at home and make more money?
Yeah.
So there's a lot of performers that have retired and they just shoot content.
Interesting.
Yeah, so the content creation has definitely been huge.
That's something I talk about a lot is kind of the progression of the industry and where it's gone.
Yeah.
Again, since
everyone was locked in at home, they didn't have things to do.
A lot of people lost their jobs.
Yeah.
So
you couldn't even film right during that time so yeah they there was like a six-month period in which the
the adult like the professional industry shut down because of
uh so a lot of people were doing their own independent content creation yeah and what's unique about it is that there was a lot of jobs created by only fans through the pandemic because a lot of people lost their jobs and couldn't go to work so it's like you know there was hundreds of thousands of people those few years that joined only fans just to survive like i've come across you know, teachers and dentists, any line of work you can imagine, both male and female, that went to OnlyFans basically for survival.
Yeah, I see the teacher want to, it's a shame because they get fired once they fired.
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
It's tough.
Yeah, I get it.
I mean, would you want your kids?
Yeah.
Yeah, it's tough.
It's tough.
I mean, that's, I don't know how to answer that.
Yeah, it's a tough.
I think it's case by case, honestly.
Yeah, it should be.
And then even like state by state, you know, because if you're in the Bible Belt, like you do do that alabama like oh they're
they're gonna nail you to the cross with that one yeah um yeah so it just really depends on your situation it's tough it's tough yeah do you get recognized a lot in public
i get a lot of
i get a lot of like i've seen you from somewhere
or we've met before i'm like no we haven't met before but you've seen me somewhere that's fun so i get a lot of like oh like we met i'm like no you you've watched me before they don't want to admit it right well they they don't know because subconsciously, again, mostly males watch, so they're not watching it to watch me, they're watching to watch my female co-star.
True, so their focus is on her, but I'm just kind of in the peripheral.
Yeah, I can't.
So, like, they know they've seen me from somewhere, like, oh, we met or I've seen you.
Like, they just don't know, and then, like, oh, that's facts because I can't think of any guy right now.
Yeah, it's like, who gives a
for sure?
What do you think of the documentary on Netflix?
Documentary on Netflix.
Um,
it was a fluff piece.
Make them look good.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, that's cool to get your point of view on it because people loved it as consumers.
Yeah.
But you're in the industry.
Yeah, it was
politics.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So why do you think they put that out?
Well,
got into some trouble for like uploading illegal content on their site or like legal content was uploaded.
Yeah.
So they lost their payment processing systems with MasterCard and Visa.
So they got in a lot of trouble.
And I think they kind of use a documentary to kind of clean their name up.
Interesting.
So they still don't have those payment processors back?
Visa and MasterCard are still off of.
And that's another reason why there was an Exodus to OnlyFans because a lot of performers were monetizing them.
Yeah.
And now they can't.
So they went to their campsites or OnlyFans.
Wow.
That's interesting.
Well, dude, it's been fun.
It's a beast.
Like, it's a conglomerate.
I mean, they own all of them, right?
Oh, yeah.
Well, the parent company, they sold it.
They sold the company.
Mind Geek.
Mind Geek was sold to private investment group.
Now it's called Alo.
I mean, I have close to a billion views on
holy, but I haven't seen a penny of it.
What?
Yeah.
They don't pay you any of that?
No.
Is it because they're giving you that flat fee up front?
So they're deducting it?
Exactly.
Yeah.
So that's basically what happens is once I shoot a scene,
goes on the internet.
They can use it wherever they want to.
And then they keep it.
90% of my scenes end up on eventually wow so they made a bag off you oh yeah i mean just what's what's uh youtube monetization right now for a million views it depends on the channel but anywhere from two to ten k i'd say i mean so say average 5k yeah so say i
say i have a billion views i'm close to a billion so imagine that same business model yeah that's what a million dollars that's more than or is it 10 mil uh
i can't even know
it's in the millions yeah it's a lot of money it's like damn if if this was on youtube i'd be a millionaire but yeah it's like i I hadn't seen a penny of it.
And their CPMs are probably good because the products that are advertising are so targeted.
Yeah, CPMs are great, actually.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Actually, Hardeen, it's a dispenser here in Vegas I work with.
We advertise on
and we actually get really good conversions on them.
Wow.
Yeah, it makes sense.
And it's also a very...
It's very, it's cheaper relative than Instagram ads, Facebook ads, Google ads.
Oh, those are so expensive.
Yeah, like this is a fraction of the cost.
You can't even make money off those these days on most of them.
No, so the ROI is actually pretty decent with that.
Yeah.
Well, dude, it's been fun.
Anything you want to close off with or promote?
