Is it hard for you to like date men?
Yes, it does.
The truth is, when some dude comes in and he is not shining in his fluff, so when somebody is is low energy and like just not really like performing at their highest level, I tell them, sit down so the man behind you can stand up because you ain't being a superior man.
So you're not a fan of these one night stands?
No, I mean I've done enough, but like
Welcome to the Digital Social Hour.
I'm your host, Sean Kelly, with my co-host, Wayne Lewis.
What up, what up?
And our guest today, Natasha Graziano.
How's it going?
What's up, boys?
Natasha
in the building.
I love her energy already.
I bring the fire.
Like, when I walk into a building, I'm like, I'm here.
I have arrived.
Right, right, right.
Stage came in with the whole glass set on.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Tell people your story because I'm already feeling the energy.
Thank you.
Yeah, crazy story.
I mean, like, I sit here now and I still pinch myself.
I'm like, wow.
Like, when I look around me, once I didn't even know where I was going to go the next day, I didn't even know if I was going to be able to show up for my son.
Three years ago, maybe four years ago, something like that, I was in the lowest place of my life.
I was a single mom who had hit rock bottom emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially.
I was ill, I was unwell, trying to overcome an illness.
And I was ashamed at who I'd become.
I'd been a webcam girl for years, had a drug problem, and I just thought, where the f am I going from here?
How am I going to get out of this mess?
But it was from that place of rock bottom.
It was from that place of pain and suffering that was rebirthed the Natasha that you see today.
Wow.
So you were a webcam girl.
I didn't even know that.
Oh, yeah.
Well, I dropped that randomly, like here and there.
You guys throw that in there.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
oh,
and the rest.
I loved it the time, but like it was, I was trying to pay the bills.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like I was trying to get by.
So it's like for me, it's like, I see the girls do it.
I'm like, I rate you because I don't know your story.
Right.
Everyone has a story.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, but I mean, I think, like I was telling you, I think you're, you're a unique case because, like,
I think black China's going through that right now, right?
Oh, that's interesting.
I was at Tigers the other day.
Her baby daddy.
Yeah, she's, she's, I think she's going through a transitioning phase.
She was like number one on there, right?
Yeah, she's, I mean, she undid her body and everything.
Wait, she's she's going the other way.
Yeah, she's taking what they put in her body, she's taking it out.
Oh, she's cheese, everything tattoos, everything, right?
Yeah, she's evolving, right?
She's going through her own journey.
So when did you reach that place of like,
I guess, consciousness?
Like, what, where, what, did you just wake up one day?
Did you, were you, like, what was the experience?
Were you like, oh, wow, like, now I'm here?
Like, when did you arrive?
Hmm.
Love that.
You know,
it was an evolution, but there was a one day when it just hit me.
I was getting lower and lower.
Doing my worst.
Like, when you're that low, it's so hard to get out because nothing seems good anymore.
You just, you just feel like the world is against you.
But I remember standing in the mirror and I was looking in the mirror and I was ready for my mom's wedding.
I was about to walk down the aisle to be her bridesmaid with my sisters.
And my makeup was streaming down my face.
I was still overcoming this illness.
And I looked at myself, and I was listening to Denzel Washington in my ears, and it was like driving this like energy through my body.
And I started preaching life over myself, saying, This is just temporary.
You are not meant to be in this place.
Get out of it.
Like, leave this place.
Pain is just temporary.
Like, you're here to evolve.
Get out of it.
Like, believe you can do it.
And I suddenly heard these words.
You're going to be a motivational speaker.
And I was like, what?
Five foot four?
Like, this wounded soul.
Like, I'm going to be a motivational speaker.
I was like, well, how is that possible?
Right.
But in that moment, is where I realized if I can just believe this for one day,
maybe tomorrow I'll believe it again, just for one more day.
And then one day, one day, one day turned into a year.
And all of a sudden, I'd healed myself.
Wow.
So, where did the voice come from?
Like, when did,
not the actual voice in your head, but your voice.
Like, was it, did you just started speaking one day or did you practice?
Or just it was like, yo, set this camera up, I'm just gonna go.
Yo, that's so funny.
So, I've always been one, like, people say, like, were you born this way, or did you, did you learn it?
I was born this way.
Like, I used to bust out on the stage, and like, I'm gonna tell you some funny stories today, I'm sure, like, for the first time, I've never shared anywhere, but you know, later on.
But I went out on the stage when I was a kid, and it was like a fashion show or like a singing contest.
I don't know what you call it, a beauty pageant.
I would go up there, and I would do whatever, and I would win.
Like, just my personality would win.
Like, I knew, like, whenever someone raised their hand in the audience, I always get chosen.
Shout out to today's episode sponsor, Hostage Tape.
Man, this stuff's good, bro.
I know.
Last night I slept with my mouth open.
I really needed it.
Did I heard it?
Even decreased the blood pressure.
Dude, it's got a lot of health benefits for sure.
I've even used it and slept like five, six hours, and I felt so refreshed the next day.
Wow.
When I do that without mouth tape, I feel terrible.
Yeah, it stopped me from snoring too.
Yeah, yeah.
I can't wait to get the finished results because I know I actually took a B4 pic and I want to see what the results are in a couple weeks, how much face changes.
Yeah, I've seen some nasty photos of people with like fat jaws before.
Yeah.
And then them using tape.
And it just everything lines up.
It looks so chiseled afterwards.
It's actually crazy.
Yeah, I can't wait.
I'm excited.
But I definitely use hostage tape a lot, bro.
Yeah, people that are struggling to sleep and, you know, feeling exhausted and snore, I definitely try it out.
It's pretty cheap, too.
Yeah, and it's really comfortable too.
It's really, really, really, really flexible.
You can just kind of slide it on.
There we go.
Well, there you have it, guys.
Hostage tape.
Shout out to them.
Link will be in the bio.
Check them out.
Because I just believe I'm lucky.
I believe it's going to happen for me.
I believe it's my turn.
And so I stood in front of the mirror and I then started preaching life.
And then that one ripple there turned into a ripple effect of me then kind of recording these tapes.
And they were almost imagined like a mixtape for an artist, but I was just like recording these tapes and feeling alive.
And then I shared one on YouTube and it went viral.
And I was like, oh my God, my Denzel Washington speech is now mine.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, I'm now lifting somebody up.
I'm now saving somebody's life.
Right, right, right.
You know, so it just every day.
But I'll tell you what really cracked it for me.
Do you remember Clubhouse?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Clubhouse is where I got famous.
Like, that's how I grew.
But you don't know what?
Clubhouse, a lot of people pivoted from Clubhouse, bro, because it's voice.
And I mean,
listen, let me pay attention to her energy.
Yo, that's crazy.
Are you still on there?
Are you kidding me?
My rooms used to have 25,000 people across four hours.
Like, you'd see the stats after.
I was like, 25,000 across four hours.
We have everyone in there from Damon John to Jaru.
All my boys will come in.
It was dope.
And then.
it started to decline.
Like something happened.
I don't know what happened, but something happened.
And it just, I was like, I'm out.
Like, I leave at the peak of the party.
Like, I'm not the girl who leaves last.
Like, trust me, you're going to be missing this energy, baby.
Like, I I just, I decided to leave.
But Clubhouse was amazing, and it gave everybody a platform who didn't have one.
And if you hit it at the right time, which I did, I grew my name on there.
And so I went from being on virtual stages, practicing.
So I'd be like carrying my phone around the house, like, you're speaking into it.
And so then COVID lifted, like, you were allowed out of the house all of a sudden.
So first thing I know, I was in the UK.
I moved to America.
I mean, got out of there.
You got out of here.
Oh, you was in the UK this year?
I was living in the UK.
You couldn't tell by her accent.
I mean, no, no, no.
I mean, like, I'm thinking she's in LA doing all this clubhouse stuff.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I'm not thinking that you, like, during COVID.
So you're kind of new to LA.
Three years?
I just moved two months ago to LA.
I was in.
Oh, two months ago?
Yeah, so I moved end of 21 to Vancouver and then was in LA back and forwards, like, you know, staying in Airbnbs for like two years.
And then I can't add up, but whatever the time difference is, I think it's a year.
And then, like, now I'm like, okay, I just realized like i have to move like full-time so i moved my son and you know he was so seeing with your high energy you know um
a positive thought process is it hard for you to like date men that's so interesting
so and i'm saying not date men in general but i'm saying
does the mindset of certain men turn you off of them i love this question yeah oh my god love is like my favorite topic i just love this you know i'm gonna drop some knowledge for you on there.
This is my thing.
Yes, it does.
The truth is, when some dude comes in and he is not shining in his flow, you know, I don't care whether you're a marketing expert or whether you're a star or whether you're, it doesn't matter what you do.
As long as you are doing it at such a high level that you feel amazing and you show up every day, because then you match my energy.
You don't have to match my frequency like this, but you have to match my like determination, ambition, feeling for life, right?
I'm so excited by life.
Like I just, I'm excited.
Like I come to your show, I'm just excited.
Like, yeah, I love it.
So when somebody is, is low energy and like just not really like performing at their highest level, I tell them, sit down so the man behind you can stand up because you ain't being a superior man.
You need to be a superior man.
Like the book says, David Dale's book, sit down.
Like if you want to be with a queen, you have to first be a king.
You know, all these men, oh, you know, I'm dating and like, there's no one I like.
And I look after a lot of A-list stars, actors, rappers, DJs,
all the rest of it.
And they're like, oh, don't find love.
I don't find love.
And I'm like, that's because you're just having so many one-night stands.
So you're not allowing a woman to be a queen.
You've got to behave like a king.
Go celibate.
Pull your energy back.
Hold energy back.
And then release it into that woman you love.
Wow.
So you're not a fan of these one-night stands.
No, I mean, I've done enough, but like,
I've got no filter.
Like, I'm one of these people.
No, that's that's perfect because it shows that you're human.
I'm real.
Like, I love it.
You're a human being.
But I like that, though.
So, how can people raise their energy, raise their vibration?
Because a lot of people operate so low and they're prone to disease because of it.
They're prone to all these bad problems.
How can people raise it?
Okay, so if you're prone to something or you feel you're prone to something, the thing to do is to tap into a new version of you.
Tap into like who you want to be.
So, for example, we'll take love.
If you want to attract a 10 out of 10, you first have to be a 10 out of 10.
You can't play it a 2 out of 10 and expect a 10 because you're just going to attract what you are.
So, if you're trying to overcome an illness, I overcame an illness.
If I kept complaining and being in pain and allowing it, which is very easy, by the way, it's very easy to get depressed and you lose your full sparkle.
You feel like you've lost your life.
Why is it so easy to get depressed?
It's so easy to be negative.
It is.
Because your brain, the science behind it is your brain is actually chemically prone to go that way it will go always into a negative thing it's like a plane and the pilot the pilot constantly has to pull the plane back on track it's constantly going off course all it does the whole journey is pull it back on track pull it back on track pull it back on track and so your brain does the same it constantly wants to think negatively it wants to throw you down a dark path because we rent space in our mind for free we should be elevating saying no I'm not going to give you space in my mind for free I'm going to choose what serves me.
What, if this belief in my head does not serve my mission and who I am, I'm going to remove you from my head because you are not going to rent space for free.
Wow.
So, were you always super spiritual, or did you sort of develop into that later?
You know, I've always been this way because my dad became Buddhist halfway through my life, and so he would like om and like chant in my ears.
I went to bed, so I guess it started there.
But I read.
I just read a lot.
Like, I read The Secret of 15.
I read a lot of these books.
And then, you know, full 360, I'm now like speak on stages with them and coach with them.
And it's amazing.
But I definitely read a lot.
These books are ingredients.
Yeah, they're ingredients.
Do you believe in soulmates?
I love this question.
I can't believe it's gone there.
I believe in multiple soulmates.
I do not believe in one.
I believe in.
So you believe in polygamy then.
So I
on on which in the woman's end or the guy right the woman can do it the woman can do it the man can't no like whoa so the woman can do it but the man can't truth is if the woman does it she's gonna go off with the person she meets if the man does it it's just
so they both have to do it or not at all like polygamy is a whole other thing soulmates I truly believe that like you know every guy I've been with I've been like you're my soulmate you're my soulmate and you'll see me like online in articles it's like oh he's my soulmate and people want to say oh she always says a soulmate yeah babe i think there's a lot of them yeah yeah like that's just my thing i do genuinely believe that we have multiple soulmates in our lifetime however some people don't actually find all their soulmates they end up with one person and no matter what they make it work and i rate that in some ways you know they stay together for the kids but i believe everything has a sell by date so i'll give you my best like she said sell by date
sell by date i'll be in it for three years i might be in it for five i'm gonna give you my best like i'm gonna try so you don't believe in forever, love?
No, I don't believe in forever, love, because I've been burned and I've also been on the other side of that where I've been the one who's not.
And I just know that the grass is always greener.
And the truth is, if you can just water the grass where you are, it will last longer.
And I have to tell myself that every day as I wear green, but I just feel that if you can try and do forever, that's the best way because you'll try and get to 10 years.
But when it starts to turn off,
When the passion goes, try and reignite it.
Try and reignite it three, four times.
But when you've tried for three years years and all you do is argue in front of the kids, that's not worth it.
Get out.
So there is a moment when it's like, you know, the word soulmate just becomes like not right for you anymore.
Yeah, I feel like it's, I mean, like,
I guess you can have multiple soulmates.
I think that's the problem in society.
I think a lot of people are unhappy because they do have multiple soulmates and they just don't want to be honest with themselves.
Yeah.
They like more than one woman.
Well, this is the thing.
So like, you know, we can look at many different people.
I can think of someone right now who's dating someone and what dating was got a baby with her, and you got another eight babies at the same time.
And like, wow, you know, I look at that and I'm like, he just understands it, and they're all happy with it.
But I personally wouldn't be one of a many harem.
Like, I'll be, you'll be with me, and then if you weren't with me, then you would be with somebody else at another time.
But you and I would have had our moment.
And if you have kids, that's when it gets complicated.
Because now it's like, oh, the kids, like, only three, that's awkward.
Like, my son's six, and we split up when he was young.
So that was like, you know,
really hard.
So like you have to think about like, okay, how can I evolve in a way with you?
And you evolve, but when you stop evolving and they don't evolve or they evolve faster than you, you have a problem.
There's a gap.
Yeah, it is definitely.
It's kind of like a chase.
It becomes a one person's trying to keep up with the other one.
Yes.
I mean, look, I'm all through.
A lot of women are very supportive of their person.
They're like, sit behind them and they're like, I'm going to make sure your food is done.
I'm going to make sure you look amazing.
And I don't moan the fact you're out all day because you're making the money.
Like I can give her her props.
I would find that very boring because I did that before.
I was a housewife and I found like, you know, it was tough.
But out the other side of it, like being somebody who's so empowered, I just say, if you are super empowered, you will attract an amazing partner to you who won't ever be bored of you.
Like I tell my guys who are super successful, you keep thinking you need a beta woman because you're an alpha.
No, sweetie, you need an alpha because she's going to match you.
It's going to be like two stars.
It's going to be like two powerhouses together.
And then you only have two powerhouses together.
All of a sudden, you have this like excitement.
Like, what are you doing?
Yeah, but
she has to know how to channel her alpha, though, because there's some women who take that alpha and they run with it, meaning they exude masculine energy.
And an alpha woman isn't supposed to exude masculine energy.
She's just supposed to be alpha in her space, not in the household.
Yes,
yes, interesting.
Yeah, it's funny because, you know, a lot of women are like, I'm so, you know, my masculine energy is so strong, I overpower men.
Well, I don't overpower men.
Like, I'm super, like, masculine.
Yeah, but I'm so feminine in my ways.
I can soft touch you.
I can, like, meditate with you.
We can be calm together.
It's sweet together.
I can cry with you.
I can be a cutesy with you.
Like, I can go all the different phases, right?
But, and that's who I am.
It's just who I am.
But my masculine energy is just like, you know, I'll just make a lot of decisions.
I'll just make it easy for you.
Like, I show up and I'm like, this is what we're going to do today.
I'm going to make your life so easy.
You know, we're going to do this.
And by the way, in the meantime, I'm introducing you to like these four artists who you're going to do something with.
Oh, my God.
Thank you.
Sounds great.
Do you feel like
a lot of women are nowadays that are chasing after a certain kind of guy?
Do you feel like a lot of those women are delusional?
Yes.
They are wanting perfection.
But sweetie, perfection is okay.
But how long you've been single for?
If you've been single for more than three years, maybe perfection doesn't happen.
Like, how long are you gonna go until you meet somebody?
Perfect, yeah.
Look at look at how long you've been single for.
By choice is different when you're actually like cut away from the world, you don't want to do it, you're like choosing to do it, that's very different.
But I really want this guy, I really want this perfection, or your partner, whoever it is, you know, I want this, and I want this and them.
Perfection does not exist.
Nine out of ten does.
you can't get a nine out of ten that's your soulmate you know i always used to wonder when i was with my ex he was um he was an actor a really famous actor and um what's his name
i'll say the first name elijah okay so we were together we lived together and um he was cool like we had a great relationship but
it just got to that point and i was like wait is this the one i was like is this the one so i started feeling like this is the one but then i would cry all the time and then it got to a point where i was like this is not what the one would feel like surely.
Or is there anything better?
So now I'm cross-questioning my own relationship, my own self, which is really sad.
So you have to recognize, am I in something amazing?
Is it the one?
How you know it's the one is it feels blissful.
You do not argue.
You feel amazing.
It's easy.
I keep telling people that when you know that she's a solid chick or if she's the one, it is easy.
It's easy to be with her, easy to be around her, easy to spend time with her.
Nothing is forced.
So it almost feels like she's already been there.
Even though if you guys just meet it, it feels like she was kind of been there already.
It's weird.
Like you just know her.
It's odd.
Yeah, no, you're right.
Yeah, it's very odd.
Time vortexes.
So
like time disappears.
So effectively, what you'll do is you'll feel like you've been together for an hour, but it will feel, sorry, you've been together for three hours.
And it will be like, boy, we've been here for like days.
Three hours is the equivalent of three days.
You get lost into this like space of love.
That's when you know like I'm really with somebody I love, somebody who's the one, because you just, it's so different with them.
And then you don't realize you've been with them as long as you've been with them until you look up.
It's like, oh, we've been together four years.
Time just, there's no time.
It's just you've been with them for so long.
You just, it doesn't feel like it.
But when they're not the one, four years to like 40.
Like, we're
going to end.
No, I know.
And we've all probably been in a relationship where we felt like, oh my God, I need to get out of here.
But you know, you've got to just follow your heart.
Like, you'll know, like, when you meet the one, if it feels good.
Like, I just, when I, when I fall in love, I love falling in love.
Like, I'm the worst.
She's hard falling in love.
How many times have you fallen in love?
Oh, God.
Like, at least
made me.
Bad at this point.
No, I'm the worst.
Even like situations, I love love.
I love falling in love.
Yeah, like, I love love.
I'm such a romantic.
And, you know, so what?
I put my heart on my sleeve.
I might get hurt, but the hurt's gonna last for a few days Maybe a week It'll be really painful and then like I'm gonna either win it back or I'm just gonna continue into another realm and like, you know meet somebody else and love is beautiful.
What are like some of your hobbies outside of your profession?
What you do like what do you do like when nobody's watching like is it like bake?
Is it cooked snacks?
Like what's what's your thing?
Oh, yeah, I eat snacks.
What's your wish?
Oh, absolutely.
What's your favorite snack?
Oh, well, I make them myself, if you must know.
So I love chocolate.
So at night, I go into my like naughty cupboard.
You said the naughty cupboard?
The naughty cupboard.
My grandmother used to use that word.
Really?
Cheers for that.
That's so cool.
She's from the UK.
Oh, she's from the UK.
Oh, she is.
I was like, said in the same way.
That's so cool.
Oh, my God, you have cools because you're pop British.
Love your mix.
That's so cool.
Yeah, don't mix.
Okay,
so I go in the cupboard and
whatever you call it, they have a naughty drawer.
And although, yeah, another story about the naughty drawer another a lot of time but i go in there and i get out chocolate and cacao nibs and dates and like dark dark dark chocolate and anything else i can find and then i put it together and i like heat it up mix it up or i make squashy little things and then i eat it oh
okay that is cool so what do you actually call that snack I would call that like a date cookie dough snack.
Sounds good.
I would draw it.
You sound pretty healthy.
Oh, I am so healthy.
Like I take it.
Oh, yeah.
So that's all like.
All natural.
Yeah.
So again, you didn't see anything like bad in there.
It's all like, I take my health really seriously.
I think when you've had a health challenge,
you have no other way than to look at what
you love.
And back to the hobby thing as well.
You know, I now do what I love.
I once didn't.
I was led by his story, and that's not mine, right?
I was led by society.
I was led by what the world wanted of me.
Whereas now I live my life and I go and dance.
So when no one's there, I love dancing and walking in nature.
Like this morning.
With shoes off or shoes on?
Off.
Always.
You know about grounding?
Yeah, you know.
You ground?
Yeah.
You ground in Vegas.
Well,
we find some grass patches.
Not much, but there's some.
There's some near.
So if I lived here, I would literally go to the garden center, whatever you call it, and I would buy like a four-foot patch of grass.
And I would plant that in my garden.
And I would be like, that's my grounding spot.
Like, I would, I love grass.
Standing on it and grounding is one of my favorite things to do.
It is so refreshing.
It is so good for the soul.
It is.
It's so beautiful just to like let the energy flow through your body.
Then I breathe.
I do breath work.
And I do all of that, you know, for fun.
I just, yeah, I hang out with my son.
Yeah.
I love studying and reading and learning more about my craft.
I love to cook.
I really don't do it enough because I'm always on tour, but like I love to cook.
Bad stuff or healthy stuff.
Yeah.
Bad or healthy stuff.
Oh, you're healthy.
Okay.
So everybody can eat.
Like, if you cook, everybody can eat.
Oh my god, it's like gluten-free, dairy-free, but like filled with goodness.
Like the best one that I make is a roast chicken.
So you'll know this with the British side.
So like on a Sunday, you have a roast chicken.
Basically, we have Thanksgiving every Sunday.
Oh, for real.
So yeah, so it's like you feel so full after.
And I do like nice portions of it.
So I'll do like a roast chicken and then vegetables underneath.
And like I bake it in the oven and like, oh my god, the juice comes off it I'm making someone hungry right now and like pour the gravy over it at the ends and like it is so good.
Wow, I need to try that.
That sounds insane.
I love food.
Yeah, for sure.
It's in my top three.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Oh really?
That's I put it above fix like it's it's definitely up there.
Wow.
Wow.
I would probably go with that's a great question.
Um
with the right person.
Okay.
and then but but food is a big thing for me like everybody in my team and my family know like
I take my food seriously like I will not just go and grab a meal like you best know like you know my food what am I eating like I take it so seriously because I understand what it does to your body on top of that I love the flavors and there's so much it can't eat so I have to have a good one yeah
how do you balance traveling the world with a six-year-old son does he come with you uh no he's at school.
So we spend time on like the weekends or if I'm traveling during a weekend, like I'll see him when I'm back.
And then I just kind of give him my time when I'm there after school.
I'm like, right, here's an hour where I'm just going to be like Rio and mommy time.
And we go and catch insects and like, you know, find snails to put in like tanks.
And then like...
Once we bought African land snails, they're like these giant snails.
And we bought them and they grew so big.
And then we had to set them free because
we set them free in the middle of a park in London.
And like, you're not allowed to do that on the African land.
Thank God I've moved out of the UK.
I don't want to get a red in doing this.
For real?
Like, you're not like, you are not meant to, like, let live.
It says, do not let live African land snails out.
They're so big.
And they, I think they're really, like, I don't know, they're huge.
And we had to set them free because we were moving country and they growing so big.
So we just let them.
So what do they eat?
Well, they eat lattice and grass.
Yeah.
Oh, they They could survive.
It was the problem that someone else is going to come across it and be like, oh my god, the dinosaurs are back.
Like, this is out there.
You know, it's like, it's so loose.
What about growing up without a father figure?
Does that worry you?
No,
he has his dad in this life,
which is amazing.
So his dad is in LA too?
No, his dad's in the UK.
Yeah, exactly.
But my partner now is amazing with him as well.
Nice.
Oh, okay.
So you have someone you date in LA?
actually in a relationship yeah she manifested it I manifested it yeah yeah she wrote down a hundred things right she wrote down I did my research oh yeah yeah I wrote this is a crazy story so I wrote down a hundred things I wanted in a guy like every detail I was like um
you know he's this he's this he's this ambitious loving kind
quirky funny like just everything I wanted and it was just so detailed and then I wrote a story and I scripted it and I was like in the past tense which is the method that I coached, which was like,
you know, he is this.
So wait, the past method.
Explain that so that people understand.
Oh, yeah.
No, I'm glad we talked on that because I know people are going to mess you like, what script are you talking about?
What is the past tense tense?
You know, it's such a powerful method.
It's so easy.
You get a pen and paper.
You have to do it with a pen and paper versus typing because that's part of the science behind it.
And what you do is you write in the past tense a story about yourself for, say, in a year's time or in three years' time.
But you write a story about the future as though it's already happened.
so it could be i met the love of my life and they were sensational we just clicked we knew that we were the one for each other we moved in after three months got married after six and had a baby after a year boom you are so detailed to the point and then you explore that more so you put lots of using your five senses it felt amazing when we made love they made me
they made me do this like we ate the most delicious food together we cooked chicken all the time whatever it is detail detail detail on detail you do it in the past tense because when you do it in the past tense, it's scientifically proven to bring it to fruition faster.
There's actually an article, a citation from the Harvard Business Review 2014 by Otenjen, which is she wrote about this article in Positive Thinking, and it says, When you write your goals down in the past tense, you are scientifically likely to achieve them so much more than if you just wrote them down normally.
Okay, so in the past tense,
you would have already achieved your goals.
Yeah, so you're saying, I am am married, right?
Not I will be.
I got married.
I got married, yeah.
I got married, I do have a million dollars or
ten million dollars.
I already have, I live in the mansion, I moved into the mansion ten.
I moved into the mansion,
see, so mostly most people are going to.
The reason why I'm saying it like that is most people are going to, they don't really know how to write it like that.
So it has to be written in a certain dialogue.
Oh, yes, yes.
Right.
Well, I'm going to start doing that.
How often do you do that?
Honestly, every day.
I miss days, obviously, but it's fun.
Like, I'll sit on the plane and like I just write or I go before I go to bed because your mind is more impressionable.
So if you are about to fall asleep, we're going into the alpha state and then theta and delta.
These are slower brainwave states where your mind is more impressionable.
And that's when you do all the hardwiring, the rewiring of the brain.
So right before you go to bed, you relax, you relax deeper, you relax more, and all of a sudden, you are in a really calm state.
You're about to fall asleep.
I usually do this with a candle and you can't even see what I'm writing.
Or to be safe, safe, just do it with a light, but just like, you know, the candles are relevant of what I'm talking about.
I'm just saying what I personally do.
But when you're writing it down, you just, you're really sleepy.
It's good to do it right before bed because your brain will find a way to bring it to fruition.
Because when you've written it down, it activates the ventralateral or prefrontal cortex of your brain, which is in charge of behavior and emotional regulation.
And it doesn't know whether or not you've achieved that goal.
It doesn't know whether it's a memory or an imaginary one.
So it finds a way to mirror it in your outer reality, which is even more neuroscience.
We'll do that another day.
But essentially, before bed, writing it down helps you to bring it to fruition faster.
Your brain does all the work while you're asleep, trying to find a way to make it happen.
The next day, you go out and you're like, yo, this is so nuts.
I feel like I'm 10 steps closer to my goal.
This person just came into my life.
This event just happened.
Everything's just showing up in my life, which is showing me I can achieve it.
Like, I'm feeling it.
Everything's starting to mirror in my reality that I can do this goal.
It's a really nice feeling.
So
what are the
it's really good?
What are the key words again so that they know that you use specifically?
It's not that I have it's I
was I was I met I met I had
I had get it so it's like I had the most amazing year 2020 you're already claiming it yeah 23 24 25 whatever year it claim it but you see most people do this I am amazing I am loved now they're beautiful affirmations do work however your brain, when you write it in the past tense, it is so much more.
So instead of using I am, they must use I have.
I was.
I was.
Yeah.
So they're like, you've got I was,
I am, and I will.
I will puts is in the future and it puts distance between you and the thing.
It's too far.
I am is affirmation.
Yeah.
I was is past tense.
Yeah.
I love that.
See, we're starting to see you got it.
It's specific.
I'm telling you, I read it.
It's specific words that still have to be used in dialogue in order for it to fully manifest.
Because, like she said, I am is an affirmation.
It's kind of like a standstill.
I will be is future.
It creates distance.
I was is already happening.
You get what I'm saying?
Totally.
That's a really good way of putting it.
You have to actually use specific words in that in order for it to really fully, you know,
come to manifest.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Wow.
It's been a blast.
It's over already?
Yeah, it's been 30 minutes.
Yo, I could do this for four hours with you guys.
Oh, my God.
This is amazing.
Next, I have so many things coming up i just did my ted talk on scripting on that exact topic so it'll be out now and you guys will be able to watch it um if it's not out yet it'll be out in a minute um we're working on some really cool things in tv which we'll stay tuned for nice um and just back on my speaking tour helping people around the world you know inspired yeah i love appreciate you for coming through your energy is fired thank you honestly you're both really beautiful souls and like really just i've really enjoyed myself thank you for having me.
So, you have any books or anything that you're working on?
Any audio?
My book is a Wall Street Journal bestseller.
It's my latest book.
It's my favorite one.
So it's called Be It Till You Become It.
And, you know, it's a take on play, you know, fake it till you make it.
I never liked that.
I like become it.
Like, decide it today.
Just like become who you want to be.
Step into it today and be it.
Just don't wait till the future.
Don't wait and think, oh, you know, like, I'll just do it one day.
No, no, do it today.
How would you behave if you were the billionaire today?
How would you behave if you had a top podcast?
How would you behave if you were a top genius in this era?
If you were a top public speaker, how would you behave?
You'd be really calm and fulfilled and like certain and confident about what you do.
And so, that for me is what the book's about.
It's the neuroscience and ancient wisdom behind the law of attraction.
So, you're coming out with a cookbook too, then, right?
Yeah, I shouldn't stop putting that.
The law of attraction for cooking.
Feel it in your stomach.
Try wipe off the ingredients, it'll shorten up.
Oh man, she and Aisha Curry can do it,
right?
For sure.
Oh man, thanks so much, Natasha.
That was awesome, appreciate you.
Yeah, we'll have to catch up again for sure.
It's so fun.
