Speaker 2
Hi, I'm Ari. And I'm Manch.
And this is Girls Gone Bible. We talk all things Jesus, relationships, mental health, everything you've been through.
We probably have too.
Speaker 2
We always say, come as you are, just don't stay that way. Hi, sweet babies.
We love you guys so much. We are filming today on a random Sunday.
We're preparing for the holidays. How is your birthday?
Speaker 2 My birthday. I was telling Ange this.
Speaker 2 So I want to put this picture on the screen.
Speaker 2 I come in my house.
Speaker 2
I like started to cry to Ange because I was like, she just made it so special. Like I felt so loved.
She got me all these balloons, cake, just everything.
Speaker 2
And she just, I don't know, you just made my birthday so special. You really did.
I love it.
Speaker 2 I will be saying thank you for the next month, but I also just felt so, it was the best birthday I've ever had.
Speaker 2 All these years, this was my favorite birthday. And
Speaker 2
it's not even like we did all this stuff. I just felt so much love.
And I just want to thank you guys because
Speaker 2 I have never felt felt so loved than this year. Like the messages you guys,
Speaker 2 the messages that I received were just, I just, I can't even believe it. Like I can't believe how blessed we are to have you guys as our, our family.
Speaker 2
It's, it's, I just like really reflected all day on just how we have you guys. And it's just, it's the greatest blessing.
And you've given me the space to really just be unapologetically myself.
Speaker 2 And that is a gift. That has been the biggest gift with GGB is because you guys just make me feel so seen, so loved, and like I can just be Ariel.
Speaker 2
Yeah, and for most of my life, I never felt like I could. And so, I just want to thank you guys for all of the messages and love and support.
It's just you guys made my whole birthday.
Speaker 2
So, thank you so much. I read every single message, and my heart is so full, so full.
So, I love you guys so much. Thank you for being the greatest family to us.
Speaker 2 I also want to thank you guys because I had the time of my life reading your messages because it was like every message that I wrote or a comment that I read, I was like, yep, that's my girl.
Speaker 2
Yep, yep, yep. That's like, you know what I mean? It's just, it's just such a beautiful thing to see what you are to them and what you've done for them.
And it's just like, it's just insane.
Speaker 2
It's so crazy how. people who don't know you can love you so much and like I'm just so grateful for what we have here and what we get to do and yeah, we just love you guys so much.
I love you.
Speaker 2 I'm grateful for the support that you give both of us, and just how loving you guys were to Ari. Thank you for answering the call and writing all your favorite things about her.
Speaker 2 And everyone said their favorite things were how authentic you are, how funny you are, how just yourself you are. And that's why I wrote that in the caption.
Speaker 2 I was just like, Million, you've made your mark on millions of people by just being Ari. And we love Ari, so just be Ari.
Speaker 2
I love you guys so much. Thank you so much.
So cute.
Speaker 2
Yeah, we went to dinner last night. We went to Chipriani.
We got some Italian pasta. I felt like I was in Long Island again at Chipriani's.
I know. It was so much fun.
Speaker 2 It was such a chill day, but it was so good.
Speaker 2 It was Ari's birthday dinner. And you guys.
Speaker 2
Something happens to me in Ari. I don't know why.
I swear it's like, I don't know, but when we're around other people and the giggles hit, it is the most annoying thing.
Speaker 2
Nobody knows what we're laughing at. What did we start laughing at last time? I don't know, but you know how we go silent and it's the silent laugh.
And it's your birthday.
Speaker 2
Nobody knows what to do with those things. Nobody knows what to do.
My whole body is convulsing. And then I start having a full-blown panic attack.
Speaker 2 Because guys, when I laugh too hard, like when I pass the threshold of laughing too hard, I then will start to have a panic attack. And you know, I always like to take my shirt off.
Speaker 2
I was just like, I gotta get out of here. Somebody let me.
Yeah, you know, I like to take my shirt off. Curls going by with 2.0 baby
Speaker 2 you told him sometimes when i have a panic attack i'm like rip it off
Speaker 2 so many of you guys probably do that too you know when you panic and you just like have to rip off your clothes
Speaker 2 are we leaving you guys astray i don't know if we should keep this in okay here's a confession ari and i like
Speaker 2
Always feel like we need to do something spiritual. So I can't do something.
Like, I haven't watched TV in two years. Two years.
Speaker 2 I can't do anything for more than 30 minutes without being like,
Speaker 2
okay, haven't prayed in a while. Got to go be alone with the father.
We have to call up the Sodom Religious Socd because it's real. It's so real.
Speaker 2 And so we're sitting there, and I'm like thinking of all the things like, we could be reading Hosea, we could be
Speaker 2 like starting Jana says, I can't. That was so funny.
Speaker 2 Can we watch a movie? He said,
Speaker 2
you think we could be watching? Read it all. Josea.
I've never read Jose. I don't even know what's in that book.
I am.
Speaker 2
I listen to me. I tried watching Love is Blind the whole time.
I'm thinking. We can't watch that.
Oh, are you sure? I see some Christians watching Love is Blind.
Speaker 2 Hey, why are we the only two Christians on the planet that aren't allowed to do anything?
Speaker 2 No, no, we have come to the realization that we have an extreme spiritual OCD and we're starting to come out of the bubble. Remember, I said, I don't come out of my bubble.
Speaker 2
We're coming out, and we have. I'm scared.
I'm staying in the bubble. I don't want to go anywhere.
I'm so scared.
Speaker 2 I made some Christian friends this year, and they're super Christians. And they had a Halloween party, and I was looking at them like, What are you guys doing? I couldn't even watch Hocus Poke.
Speaker 2 I can't even watch Halloween Town without thinking that demons are seeping through the screen and like latching onto me like leeches. I'm,
Speaker 2 but you know, you know what it it is? We're so unwell.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 We think that to even see through the seams. Seems? Screens.
Speaker 2 You see through the seams.
Speaker 2 No, you know what it is? When you've come from, I swear this really is true. When you've come from such darkness and you've seen so much darkness, you're way more sensitive to it.
Speaker 2 And when did you come up with that analysis, Anne? The father revealed it to me.
Speaker 2 You know what it is when you come from you know what it is when you come from the pits of hell aka the projects aka the trenches aka the slums of albania
Speaker 2 i really did i want you to weigh in with massachusetts
Speaker 2 florida's
Speaker 2 i also went through a lot when i was in florida if i'm being honest florida's like you know what it is you know what it is you know we're about to say something really philosophical when we start you know what it is you guys the father just revealed it to me I gotta go be with the father.
Speaker 2
I gotta go be with the father. No, really.
When you do come from darkness
Speaker 2
and you get saved, you don't want to ever even like tiptoe back into that. Even if it's a bad movie, I'm scared off.
Going over there.
Speaker 2 I'm scared.
Speaker 2
Oh, I'm scared. Whenever I say anything, I look at her and go, I'm scared off.
I'm scared.
Speaker 2 Where did that come from? Get out of here, Demon.
Speaker 2 Shadow!
Speaker 2 Okay.
Speaker 2 Do we have anything good to say today? No. Let's, guys.
Speaker 2 We want to do a GGB question session. Who do you think you are?
Speaker 2 Demon.
Speaker 2 Where am I?
Speaker 2 You guys are coming here on a Friday to get healed. Yeah, we're hitting the microphone saying, don't eat candy because there's witchcraft in it.
Speaker 2
I promise you, we're going to say something really good today. It's coming.
Let's answer some questions. Okay, so today we're doing
Speaker 2 a GGV question session today.
Speaker 2 This episode is brought to you by No C D. When you're struggling with your mental health, knowing that you're not alone can mean everything.
Speaker 2 And that's why Ari and I are so open about our own experiences with depression, anxiety, and OCD.
Speaker 2 And why we want to shed some light on a part of mental health that can be hard to talk about, which is religious OCD, also known as scrupulosity OCD.
Speaker 2 People usually have a really good idea of what what depression is or anxiety, but OCD is still really misunderstood. And it isn't just about hand washing and organization.
Speaker 2 It can focus on anything you care about. And when OCD attacks your relationship with God, it can be devastating.
Speaker 2
Religious OCD often involves unwanted, stressful, and even blasphemous thoughts that go against your beliefs. Thoughts like, did I pray correctly? I need to do it again until it's perfect.
perfect.
Speaker 2 Did I do something to offend God? Or I had a hard time focusing in church, so I feel like I've sinned. These thoughts can lead to intense guilt, shame, and compulsive behavior.
Speaker 2
But what you need to understand about religious OCD is that it's not a sign that you're a bad Christian. It's a serious but treatable condition.
And with the right care, you can take its power away.
Speaker 2 And that's where no CD comes in.
Speaker 2 With No C D, you can do live face-to-face video therapy sessions with a licensed therapist who deeply understands OCD as well as your faith and how important it is in your life.
Speaker 2 They'll help you work work through these thoughts using exposure and response prevention therapy or ERP, the gold standard treatment for OCD.
Speaker 2 No CD also accepts many major insurance plans and offers always-on support between sessions.
Speaker 2 If you think you might be struggling with religious OCD and you want to learn more about therapy with no CD, go to nocd.com and schedule a free 15-minute call with their team.
Speaker 2 That's nocd.com to learn more and book a free 15-minute call. What are some things you girls like to do to keep your friendship strong?
Speaker 2 Wow.
Speaker 2 We like to duke it out.
Speaker 2 We like to duke it out, huh?
Speaker 2 What do we do?
Speaker 2 Aria and I, I mean, other than like a million things. What we do to keep our friendship strong is we don't give up on each other.
Speaker 2 And we've learned that keeping things in, even if it sounds so stupid, even if it's something so emotional and irrational,
Speaker 2 it's all about the delivery, how you come come to each other as friends. But if you come, when you come to each other and you say, look, can you talk to me about this?
Speaker 2
This is what is like replaying in my mind. This is what hurt me.
And you really come together, share how you're feeling and you're open and you're willing and you have humility and you talk it out.
Speaker 2
You don't give up on each other. Even if it's something that you're like, no, this is stupid.
No, I'm not going to go and talk to her about that.
Speaker 2 When you keep things in, it builds up, it builds up, and then you'll have an explosion. And so that's what I feel like divides friends when they just keep things in and they don't communicate.
Speaker 2 So, we are in constant communication. Yeah,
Speaker 2 we respect each other, we hold each other accountable,
Speaker 2 and we love each other and we honor each other. And I just think the biggest thing, honestly, is we don't give up on each other.
Speaker 2 There have been so many times where you and I could have given up on each other, honestly. Yeah,
Speaker 2 true.
Speaker 2 Everything you just said, and the only thing I would add is just,
Speaker 2 I mean,
Speaker 2 I just have to repeat what you said about being so honest and telling each other how you feel. That's like what.
Speaker 2 I swear that's what has saved, like, that's the only thing that can save friendships and relationships is just being like, yeah, this might seem so ridiculous, but I have to get it out because if I don't, then there's a lie in my mind that will fester and I'll begin to think things that aren't actually true.
Speaker 2
And then like my own insecurities and my own whatever will like feed on that lie. And I think we just like, we just love each other so much.
And we just choose each other.
Speaker 2 And we choose to love each other. We choose to give each other the benefit of the doubt.
Speaker 2 And, like, when you make a genuine commitment to one another, like, no matter what happens, we are in this thing together.
Speaker 2 It's like, honestly, truly, like a like a marriage in a sense where you're like
Speaker 2
splitting up, dividing is not an option. Yeah.
So we have to figure it out.
Speaker 2 And I think what we do, you and I, if one of us has an issue, the other one, it's not like you just blindly accept blame for something, but you immediately, we're both immediately like, I'm so sorry I made you feel that way.
Speaker 2 I'm not even going to argue it because like there is a reason you feel this way.
Speaker 2 And I'm just going to like, even if I don't fully agree in the moment or whatever, like I'm just going to be like, your feelings matter more to me than like being right in the situation. Just try it.
Speaker 2 Try it in your friendship, even your romantic relationship to be like even if you don't if you think the other person is wrong to come at them in that manner of being like listen i'm not going to judge you i'm here to listen you know i i want to just talk things out with you you'll see the whole dynamic of the situation will immediately change another thing i will say is um we don't we don't
Speaker 2 talk to other people about our friendship.
Speaker 2 Like we we're not gonna go to other friends because everyone, yeah, and because everyone has these opinions and then they pin you up against each other and then you're like, okay, well, is that right?
Speaker 2
And then you hold resentment because of that. And no one's, you can't go to all these other people for opinions and, cause that's when division creates.
Like that's when.
Speaker 2 Because naturally, unless you're talking to like the
Speaker 2 morally strongest human being on the planet who who has no bias whatsoever, no matter who you're talking to, is naturally going to have a bias towards you. You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 Like, even if you're like, even if they're not closer to you than the other person, like, because they're talking to you, they're going to be biased towards you.
Speaker 2 And so, any opinion that you get, I don't know, I'm not saying, like, you know, have everything be secret by any means, but you and I have been so smart from the very beginning to be like, we do not need anybody else's voice in whatever we have going on.
Speaker 2 And so, that has
Speaker 2 saved, I promise you, when you see female friendships fail,
Speaker 2
it's usually because they let other voices come in. Too many opinions.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Cause, and as soon as someone's like, oh, yeah, that's like, yeah, they probably did mean that.
Speaker 2 That's what it is. And then you're like, wait, they did, huh? Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 100%.
Speaker 2 Yeah, just being aware of each other's like sensitivities and triggers. Exactly.
Speaker 2
Just being humble. I promise you, you want to save a relationship.
You lay the pride down and you come to each other in humility and you come to each other in surrender, in a way, and like submission.
Speaker 2 I care about this friendship more than whatever is going on, so I'm willing to do what I need to do to make it be whatever. You know what I mean? It's really all comes down to humility.
Speaker 2
It is and understanding that no one is perfect. No one is perfect.
You cannot cut off somebody just because they, you know, fall short sometimes.
Speaker 2 In order for a long-lasting friendship to withhold itself, it's truly forgiveness. Forgiveness, Forgiving.
Speaker 2
Over and over again. Yeah.
Thoughts on going out and drinking with friends?
Speaker 2 That's a good question, right? That's a great question.
Speaker 2 I'm not just going to give you a blanket statement. I mean, what my heart wants to say is don't drink alcohol, but I'm really biased towards that.
Speaker 2 Obviously, you guys know about my history with alcohol and all that. I just think, you know, your personal conviction definitely comes into play with it.
Speaker 2 The Bible, the one thing that it's clear on is that it says to not get drunk.
Speaker 2 If you drinking alcohol isn't a sin, getting drunk is losing control of yourself is not being sober-minded is, it is a sin. Like it actually, no matter what anybody says,
Speaker 2
getting drunk is not godly. It doesn't do anything good for you.
But I'm also very aware of myself.
Speaker 2 I know that if I go out and I'm around drinking, I am not in a compromised, vulnerable position because I know myself.
Speaker 2 I know I'm not going to get into any trouble or do anything that I don't want to do.
Speaker 2 I think that you just need to be so aware of your surroundings, be aware of your friends, be aware of where you're going. I don't think going to the club serves anybody.
Speaker 2
Getting drunk does not serve you in any way whatsoever. You guys know.
You know what's right and you know what's wrong. If you're walking with Jesus, you can feel what's right.
Speaker 2 If you're sitting there like taking shots with your friends, that's obviously not godly. and i'll just say one more thing that like even if it's not a club and and parties and you're in high school
Speaker 2 you're gonna eventually begin to do what everybody around you is doing none of us are strong enough i'm sure if i was in the club every single night god knows i might start acting in a way that is like not natural to me

Speaker 2 What is your favorite thing about Jesus? That's cute. That's so cute.
Speaker 2 Can we pick a couple different things?
Speaker 2 Can I pick two things? Yeah.
Speaker 2 Okay, can I okay, can I like re
Speaker 2 no, no, I'll I'll I'll can we reframe that question a little bit? What are your favorite attributes about Jesus?
Speaker 2
Like, I'll say, two of the first ones that come to my mind are that he's kind and that he's faithful. Like, he's so kind.
It's in his kindness. Like, everything comes out of his kindness.
Speaker 2
He loves us out of his kindness. He corrects us out of his kindness.
He rebukes us out of his kindness. Like, we repent out of his kindness.
Even like the harsh parts of God.
Speaker 2
all are derivative from his kindness. Like it all comes from his kindness.
So he's so kind. Everything he does.
Speaker 2
Everything he does is so kind. I look at the people in my life and I'm like, God has been kind to me.
I look at you and I'm like, God has been so kind, you know?
Speaker 2 And then the other one is faithful. Like if I know Jesus to be anything, that man,
Speaker 2 that man
Speaker 2
is faithful. There is nothing, not one time that he does not come through.
He's so faithful over and over and over again.
Speaker 2 And my favorite thing about walking with Jesus has been looking at the past few years of my life and even my life before really walking with him and being like analyzing the timeline of things and being like, There he was, there he was, there he was, and he's come through every single time.
Speaker 2 And every time I'm in a bad situation, I have the experience, the past experience, to be like, all I know is that he's faithful. He will come through.
Speaker 2 So kind and faithful, like, that's what I know him to be.
Speaker 2
What about you? Beautiful. Same as you.
Uh, kindness and just
Speaker 2 his love. Um,
Speaker 2 you know, there have been so many moments where I have felt so unloved and so alone. And in my isolation season, he has filled every single broken part and piece that has went missing.
Speaker 2
And even in my isolation season, he's filled it with love. He's, I haven't had to go to any void to put the band-aid on because he's filled that.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 And he just provides me with so much love and safety that i always lacked in my life and i feel so whole now as a woman because the love he gives me every single day it's it's something that i will never stop praising him for i mean because when you have love and when you he fills that
Speaker 2 all these pieces that have been broken since you were a young girl or boy and he fills all that with the love you feel you feel whole you feel when you're when you feel loved you feel unstoppable like you can like that's what life is that's what joy is right is when you just feel loved and so I realized that I don't need to get that from another person.
Speaker 2 I don't need to get that from
Speaker 2
a career or a purpose. It all comes from him.
He's so good. And he's so cute.
And he's so cute. You know what it is, too?
Speaker 2 With that love,
Speaker 2
once you experience that love, you will never, never. Like, the love of God wrecks you.
It destroys you in the best way. It ruins you completely.
You can never go back.
Speaker 2 Like, anyone, I always think about anyone who has experienced the true love of God, who then goes back and turns their back against them.
Speaker 2 I'm like, what insane demonic force could get something like that to happen? You know what I mean? I always say that. I'm always like,
Speaker 2 if you are like in, like, still living in sin, like, get deeper with him because when you truly experience his love, you don't go back.
Speaker 2 Like, you want, like, and I think that's another thing that I love about him, too, is like, he's taught me, he's, he showed me true love to where it's, it's made me say, okay, I want to live right.
Speaker 2
And so now I'm such a better person because of his love. Yeah.
I want to live right. I want to do right.
I don't want to live the ways of the world. So
Speaker 2 so good.
Speaker 2 So, so good.
Speaker 2 Okay, how to not let things of your past linger and steal your peace. Ari and I are clearly so big on not letting things that you've done in your past hold you back from anything in life.
Speaker 2 If you're like us, and I know that you are, you have a past, we all have a past, even
Speaker 2 people with who have been faithful Christians their whole lives have done things in their life that they regret or they're ashamed of.
Speaker 2 And we're here today to tell you that you don't need to be ashamed about anything if you've given your life to Jesus if you've repented and done away 180 and turned from the sin and turned towards Jesus you are a new creation there is grace to cover everything that you've ever done where sin abounds grace abounds much much much more and Jesus is so kind and faithful like we said to forgive all your sins and so whatever you've done I really truly and I don't want to say it like in a politically correct way like I want you to understand that I have done so many things in my life that I regret, that I'm ashamed of, that I wish I didn't do, that I would take back if I could, but not really because I don't need to, because they're already taken back.
Speaker 2
Like Jesus already paid for them. So just know that whatever is in your past, that's not who you are anymore.
And you can release it right now. And you can even say, I release it in Jesus' name.
Speaker 2
That's not a part of me. It's not a part of my identity.
And you're better than that. You're beyond that.
That isn't who you are. And you are a new creation.
And so be bold in that.
Speaker 2
And honestly, like, be bold about your mistakes too. I talk about everything that I've done.
Not with everyone. You have wisdom.
Speaker 2 Like, you don't have to, whatever, be vulnerable with every single person. But I really talk about things in my past that are ungodly and sinful and not good.
Speaker 2 And I talk about them with confidence because I'm like, but look what Jesus did. Look at my
Speaker 2
framework in which I look at my life and the way that I look at the world. Like, I'm different.
I'm redeemed. This is redemption.
I am not who I was. So, I'm not going to be ashamed.
Speaker 2 And so, please, I just want that to be encouragement that you have nothing to be ashamed of if you've given your life to Jesus.
Speaker 2
And, you know, that doesn't mean a free-for-all, go and do whatever you want. It means don't go on sinning, don't go on living in darkness.
But, yeah, you don't have to have shame. You're good.
Speaker 2
I'm proud of you, truly. Truly.
And I remember when we first started doing our walk, and I I
Speaker 2
remember I felt so much shame. I was like, I can't, I can't even be around other Christians.
I was so embarrassed. And then
Speaker 2 now God has revealed, like, no, this is part of your testimony. You, you guys are able to help people because of the mistakes you did.
Speaker 2 And so, for some of you guys, too, what you guys have been through and your mistakes, you too will help others. Yeah.
Speaker 2 And so, that's why I say everything you've been through is going to be a testimony to help help the person behind you.
Speaker 2 And I'll just say one more thing about not looking at the past.
Speaker 2 I know sometimes the past really hurts and it's really hard to let go, but it's just every single day knowing that it's okay that it hurts, but every day just saying, Jesus, I surrender it to you.
Speaker 2 Continuously repeating that out of your mouth. Every time the thoughts of the past start to come back in your mind, you say, no, no, no, this isn't my burden to carry anymore.
Speaker 2
Jesus, I put it in in your hands. Have your way in my life.
So good. I love that.
Speak back to those thoughts of the past because it's definitely not God's voice that's bringing them up.
Speaker 2 And if you're having flashbacks of the past, which I know happens to a lot of people,
Speaker 2 remember when I told you guys, I know someone that every time they get a thought they don't like, they go.
Speaker 2 And they like
Speaker 2
throw it to hell. Throw it to hell.
No, don't like that.
Speaker 2 You know, I get visions all the time of like things of my past, sinful moments, like things that I don't love to see and I definitely don't want to see. And I honestly give them no attention.
Speaker 2
I'm like, bye. Yeah.
I'm not dealing with that. That's not from G.
I know who is accusing me right now and it's not God.
Speaker 2 So tell me, has summer really done a number on your hair? Because the quality of my hair always depends on the season. And when it starts getting cold, my skin and hair don't like it.
Speaker 2
They get incredibly dry. And not to mention, I live in California, which makes it extra dry.
And the fact is that even if we're not aware of environmental changes in our day-to-day, our hair is.
Speaker 2
And that's why I recommend Prose. Ever feel like beauty products just aren't made for you? I used to, until I tried Prose.

Secular music, what's your take on Taylor Swift?
Speaker 2 Go ahead.
Speaker 2
I don't really know the, I don't know the problems with Taylor Swift. I'm not really, you, you probably know more than me.
Should I answer that? Yeah, if you want to. If you have a take.
Speaker 2
I just want to. Secular music.
I don't listen to really secular music anymore. And it's truly because I don't like it.
Like, I love country music. I love worship.
Do you ever suffer from nightmares?
Speaker 2 I was just reading that one. No, do you?
Speaker 2 Sometimes, actually, I'll have night, not night, I'll have bad dreams in the early morning sometimes where the pat, the last like couple hours, I'll just like, sometimes I'll dream about not scary things, but like irritating things.
Speaker 2 Like, like I'll be either fighting with people or someone will be like betraying, I don't know, like hurting me emotionally. Like I'll wake up in like emotional pain sometimes.
Speaker 2 I have dreams that there's spiders everywhere on my walls. Snakes are wrapped around my throat.
Speaker 2 I have dreams that my teeth are falling out,
Speaker 2
which means new beginnings, I guess, it says on Google. Hey, let's have Stephanie.
Let's ask Stephanie.
Speaker 2 Every time me and Ari are like you scrolling on TikTok late at night, I'm like, this is not making the bed an altar. We are failing.
Speaker 2 Of course, we're dreaming about our teeth falling out. We're listening to ASMR, like demonic ASMR at night.
Speaker 2
I'm asking people for shout-outs. It's ridiculous.
Or when you're running and you can't run and they're coming out. What is that? I don't know.
Let's Google it. I don't know.
Speaker 2 Google giving us biblical answers.
Speaker 2
Do you ever struggle with your prayers like a loss at a loss for words? I do all the time. Oh, that's such a good question.
Biggest but God moment for you both. That's a good one.
Biggest God moment.
Speaker 2 Biggest but God.
Speaker 2 Oh,
Speaker 2 all of them.
Speaker 2
Literally. Literally, all of them.
Our whole life is a but-god moment. Yeah.
Everything of our past, everything of our generations before us, everything of our family lineage, everything.
Speaker 2 Our lives are testimonially miraculous.
Speaker 2 Our lives are a picture of the gospel. When you believe in Jesus and you lay your life down for Jesus, your life becomes a perfect reflection of the gospel, which is death to life.
Speaker 2
And our whole life, like, we should not be who we are. We shouldn't be where we are.
We shouldn't do what we do. We shouldn't believe what we believe.
But God. Yeah, but God is right.
You know? Yeah.
Speaker 2 Don't ever, don't ever second, don't ever doubt yourself, second guess yourself, think you can't do something. Yeah.
Speaker 2 My butt, God was he took a girl who had just started reading the Bible, never had self-worth, could barely look people in the eyes,
Speaker 2 was everybody else but herself,
Speaker 2 got everything taken from me
Speaker 2 and took me and
Speaker 2 put me in ministry.
Speaker 2 brought me a family that has accepted and loved me and loves me just the way I am. Everything I second guessed about myself are the very things that you guys actually love about myself.
Speaker 2
And it's like, wow, but God, that's what he did for my life. Amen.
Showed me how worthy and smart I was. I just, I will never, one thing I learned about my life is I will never second guess myself.
Speaker 2
I will never sit there and say, I can't do something. Yeah.
Because the very thing that you don't think you're good at or you critique yourself of is the very thing that God will be like, oh, really?
Speaker 2 That's what you don't think you're good at. right?
Speaker 2 And I almost feel like so many of us, like the things that we feel like we lack are actually the things that we're actually really good at because every time it's true.
Speaker 2 It's because that enemy will always take whatever is your biggest area of attack in your life is probably your biggest strength.
Speaker 2 Whatever you get attacked in the most, it's because there's something there. It's because, so if you're getting attacked for whatever it is, your self-worth, it's because you're probably very loved.
Speaker 2 You're a very lovable person. If you think you're not smart, you're probably actually very smart.
Speaker 2 If you think you're not talented, you're probably so gifted and talented and God wants to use it, but the devil has spoken lies into that situation so much to keep you from what God actually has for you.
Speaker 2
That's what it is. It's when you are being so attacked in the mind, it's because you're truly carrying something so significant in you.
So beautiful. Seriously, guys.
Speaker 2
Don't doubt what God can't do. I don't know if we've ever said how to study, how to read the Bible.
Have we done that? Because it's really hard when you're
Speaker 2
a baby Christian and you're trying to dive into the Bible and you're trying to understand it. I mean, it's so big.
You're like, where do I begin?
Speaker 2
I would start reading with John and start with a partner. There is nothing.
better than reading the Bible with somebody and talking it through.
Speaker 2 And even if you don't feel, you're saying to yourself, well, I don't, I don't have anyone to read the Bible with.
Speaker 2 Guys, there are the the community groups at church there are so many of them fight for community fight for a church go go to a church and be bold and just give yourself the push to say hey i'm gonna join a community group i'm gonna join a bible study even if it's scary even if i go there by myself the one thing that i did when i started my faith was i really fought and i pushed myself and i was like i don't care i'm gonna be bold and like ask for help and ask for prayer and join groups like
Speaker 2 i I would just, when you start, when you're new to Christianity and you're reading the Bible,
Speaker 2 Angela, like having her to help me every day saved me. It was amazing because there were so many things that I was very confused about and she basically like spoon-fed it to me.
Speaker 2 So if you're new into Christianity, I would really encourage you guys to find a partner, join a community group, start with the New Testament, John, Mark, Matthew, Luke.
Speaker 2
I would start with John, read John, read Romans, read 1 and 2 Corinthians. Just get, you know, read as much as you can in the New Testament.
And then, whenever you're ready, go hit Genesis.
Speaker 2 And the beginning of the faith is my Genesis is my favorite book of the Bible.
Speaker 2 There's nothing better than reading about the origin of the creation of humanity, first of all, and then the origin of our faith is just the best thing. I love what you said about community groups.
Speaker 2 It's so, so important. Matthew hits.
Speaker 2
I love Matthew. I started reading Matthew again.
Man, does that hit?
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 2 somebody said, how can I not backslide when hanging with worldly friends? And, you know,
Speaker 2 Ari and I are, I know we joked in the beginning of this saying, like, you guys, we're getting out of our bubble, but we're just kidding because it's really hard to not backslide when you're with your worldly friends.
Speaker 2
I know even I am so, so unbelievably strong in Jesus. I love him more than anything in the world.
I am like, whatever, all the things I can feel myself when I'm around worldly people.
Speaker 2 Of course, you start naturally acting like whoever's around you. You start talking different.
Speaker 2 Like,
Speaker 2 I personally believe that it's impossible not to backslide if you are with
Speaker 2 completely worldly friends who are opposite of your faith, right? My advice to you is
Speaker 2 really fight for godly community because this walk is impossible. Like, you just, you need, you need godly
Speaker 2 computing.
Speaker 2 You need godly community.
Speaker 2
You need people to hold you account accountable. You need good, godly counsel.
You need,
Speaker 2 you just need good, godly people.
Speaker 2 And again, you don't have to like obviously cut off your friendships, but you just, you have your people that you know are the ones that you go to for advice.
Speaker 2 They're the ones that you go to when you need help, when you need direction. And then you've, you know, you just hold boundaries in your life.
Speaker 2 And if you see that when you're around someone, you start acting a certain way or you start going back or you start reverting back to your old ways, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 It's something that even if you've been friends with them your whole life, even if it's a family member, the Bible is so clear that God is expecting you to leave your own family if they're in opposition to him,
Speaker 2
if they're in opposition to following him. So it is really hard, but there is no excuse truly for like being in a situation that makes you not like Jesus.
You know what I mean? And pray for them.
Speaker 2 If I could
Speaker 2 pray for them, keep praying for them. Prayer is,
Speaker 2 I pray for, yeah.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 I saw something in there. It said, like, um, what do you guys,
Speaker 2 what do you guys do for fun?
Speaker 2 What do we do for fun? Come on. Is that what it says? No, but why don't we tell them? Hello? What do you do for? What do you do for fun? I hang out with you.
Speaker 2 We're going to start doing tennis lessons, right? We're going to do tennis lessons. Right now, you know what we do for fun?
Speaker 2
We sit with the father. No, no, no.
No, we don't.
Speaker 2 What do we do for fun? I mean, we.
Speaker 2
Angela, we don't do anything for fun. Yeah, we do.
We go to Reformation.
Speaker 2 We go to Aritzia. Do you guys have boyfriends or crushes?
Speaker 2 Yes, I have a crush.
Speaker 2 His name's Jay-C.
Speaker 2 JC. Do I have a boyfriend? Do you have a boyfriend?
Speaker 2 I don't. What's your dream man?
Speaker 2
Oh, gosh. Here we go.
Come on. Give him something good.
Your dream man. And you can't say loves Jesus, obviously.
Speaker 2 I've said it a million times.
Speaker 2 I want a good, hard-working man
Speaker 2 who has a job. Who just...
Speaker 2 Who's just cool and
Speaker 2 is giving and loving and kind and loves family,
Speaker 2 loves family life.
Speaker 2 What would you do if you were married and you're married to someone uber spiritual, like super, super spiritual, like loves Jesus, hears from God, and he wakes up one day and he's like, baby,
Speaker 2 we got to move to the slums of a third world country to do ministry
Speaker 2 for a year. And you had to, and you, and, and you had to be in like, uh, like, not a five-star hotel.
Speaker 2 What would you say?
Speaker 2 You know, I'm giving my life for those kids. You know, I'd be like, I know, but you, but there's no, I know, I'm sleeping in a hut.
Speaker 2
And there's spiders everywhere. There's spiders and no lip liner.
There's no lip liner, and there's spiders. That sounds like my worst nightmare.
Speaker 2
If it's for the kids, and there's no fresh, there's no wild-caught salmon. It's only farmed.
Oh, yeah. I have Angela going to restaurants now saying, is that wild-caught? She's ruined me.
Speaker 2 You know how Jesus ruins ruins you forever because he loves you so well she's ruined me forever because i like i was chill i was like i'll go to friggin panera bread and get like i don't i didn't care i would eat so like i didn't care
Speaker 2 you were eating what's it called every day you were eating you you led people to eat um uh how could i do that to
Speaker 2 i got them addicted on i don't know the quest bars guys if anyone who's now eating quest bars please get off of them no now we're on barbells so would you guys please send me photos of your barbells get the cookie dough barbell.
Speaker 2
It's the best flavor. Ah, I'm obsessed.
I'm off the barbells right now. I am just not a protein bar girl.
That's probably I'm eating croissants every day.
Speaker 2 Yeah, you see me with my chocolate croissant on the side of my lip every day.
Speaker 2 It's not okay. It's incredible.
Speaker 2 Where'd you go? I thought we were talking.
Speaker 2 Let's talk about the father.
Speaker 2 I love you guys so much. Are you both single?

Speaker 2 Your best advice to a teenager in high school:
Speaker 2 don't worry about boys or girls. Follow Jesus, read the Bible every single day, do your homework, listen to your parents.
Speaker 2 And whatever you're going through that seems like such a big deal, legitimately, truly, I promise you with my whole heart, will not matter very soon, sooner than you think.
Speaker 2 All the things that feel like such a big deal have no actual,
Speaker 2 will have no significance in your life whatsoever. So just
Speaker 2 get as smart as you possibly can and as close to Jesus as you possibly can. Schnett.
Speaker 2 That means bless you. In Albanian.
Speaker 2 And then you say schnett pach.
Speaker 2 It's so worse when you're about to do it and then you can't.
Speaker 2 I say schnett and then you say schnett pach.
Speaker 2 That's German, huh? No, that's Albanian.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I'm German. Put another shribal ball.
Speaker 2
What? Bobby, do you want to look look like my dad today? I'm going to put a photo of my bo dad. I'm going to Australia.
Austria!
Speaker 2 Name that movie. What movie is that?
Speaker 2
I thought that was something you said. Oh, in case anybody wants to know my all-time favorite movie, it's Dumb and Dumber.
You know, I've never seen it. Harry!
Speaker 2 Are we dumb and dumber? Are we like? I'm super dumb and dumber.
Speaker 2 I'm riding on the back of your moped, and I said, and we were riding through a blizzard in
Speaker 2 Aspen.
Speaker 2 I said, I'm gonna tell you,
Speaker 2
I'm tired of it. Oh, I have an extra pair of gloves.
You've had an extra pair of gloves this whole time. That's literally gonna kill you.
I'm her, whoever that is. Listen, so I have this like tick.
Speaker 2 Okay, I'm just gonna say it.
Speaker 2 Sometimes when I'm really tired, like I'm exhausted right now, I will, when I'm really tired or I'm anxious, like it's anxiety, I'll like blink really hard or I'll like continuously blink.
Speaker 2 And Aria will see me and be like, huh?
Speaker 2 Like, it's so mean. That's you think I make fun of you? Like, she thought I made fun of her
Speaker 2 purple eyeliner, and I wasn't. I was saying it was
Speaker 2
blue, whatever. What is the lip liner you both can't live without? Spice lip liner by Mac.
That's all you need. I mean, hers is probably better than mine.
I go for the cheapo stuff.
Speaker 2
I get rough on babies. You want to come to this cheapo stuff? Get over here.
I'll give you a discount. We could do, oh, what's that? NYX,
Speaker 2 mauve, or any, or like coffee, any of the browns. Speaking of.
Speaker 2 Yeah, all that's all you need is a brown But the thing with the I started going back to spice Yes, it's $28, but it lasts yeah, no NYX does not last for anything truly So I mean I would do what Ari said anything brown though I don't even wear lipstick I don't wear anything.
Speaker 2 I just wear a brown lip liner a little a nice little 90s look, you know I just do a little lip liner Cindy Crawford said that that's what'd she say?
Speaker 2
That's what all they did was put spice lip liner on so now I'm like not going back to anything. I love that.
That's my favorite look. The 90s
Speaker 2
supermodel. I just love that.
I love the 90s. High-waist jeans.
Sidney Crawford follows us. I didn't even know she was a Christian.
I almost had a panic attack. She was, I like, love Sidney Crawford.
Speaker 2 I cannot believe.
Speaker 2 God bless. Yeah.
Speaker 2 What's your biggest fear?
Speaker 2 Other than like getting tortured.
Speaker 2 Yeah, other than losing me.
Speaker 2
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make this, Bobby.
My biggest fear. Sorry.
Speaker 2 What's your biggest fear of losing me?
Speaker 2 What is your biggest fear? Losing you. No, really? Just kidding.
Speaker 2 What's my biggest fear? My freaking mom dying.
Speaker 2 Jumping in there with her.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I'm like, bye and
Speaker 2 anything happened to my sister.
Speaker 2 I don't even know. It's just like anything happening to the people that I love.
Speaker 2 I it's it you know yeah that and getting to the pearly gates and him saying depart from me I never knew you and I was like but um
Speaker 2 dad dad we spent a lot of time together and I really
Speaker 2 that'd be really scary
Speaker 2 yeah
Speaker 2 how to stop feeling numb you know what I learned about numbness I've I've realized this in the past couple years it is so crazy how the nervous system system works.
Speaker 2 When your body goes into fight or flight, when your nerve, your nervous system, it's like all of a sudden this block comes because you're like, you're fighting.
Speaker 2 It's like your body is fighting and you go completely numb. And then all of a sudden, days later, it will just hit you.
Speaker 2 But our body just completely shuts down and we don't, we're like, you know, you know what I mean? Like when you're completely numb.
Speaker 2 And that can be scary because you think you're okay and you don't know what you're feeling because your body is in a state of shock. And then all of a sudden, you just crash.
Speaker 2 And that's hard.
Speaker 2 And so that's why,
Speaker 2 that's why
Speaker 2
I love being so open. That's why I love talking until something hits and it comes out.
Do not let things fester inside of you. Have a mentor.
Have a therapist. Have a friend.
Keep talking.
Speaker 2 Even if you think you sound annoying or it's too much. No, people that love you, good counsel will sit there and listen with open ears.
Speaker 2 I just, my biggest thing is not keeping things in.
Speaker 2 You keeping things in seriously,
Speaker 2
emotionally will come out physically a sickness. Emotional pain, you don't realize how much it festers inside of you.
It literally, I remember holding things.
Speaker 2 because I didn't even know what I was feeling and I physically was in and out of the hospital.
Speaker 2 No one could even tell me what was wrong because I was in so much emotional pain that it physically was coming out.
Speaker 2 And so
Speaker 2
that's why I don't hold things back. That's why I am a big advocate for therapy.
That's why I am like, hey, I don't know what's going on, but can you sit and talk to me?
Speaker 2 That's why prayer and just bringing it to the feet of Jesus,
Speaker 2
he knows. He knows you're numb.
He sees you. He knows exactly what you're feeling.
And he will, he will intervene and help you and just keep your ears open to into listening.
Speaker 2 You know, he will speak to you through his word. He will heal you through his word.
Speaker 2
That's why we have the gift of his word because that's what's going to heal us. That's how he speaks to us.
And so that will bring the numbness to the forefront as well. And
Speaker 2
but I know that feeling of numbness. Yeah.
It's horrible. It's horrible.
And one thing that I always do, because I go through periods of feeling a little numb emotionally.
Speaker 2 And one of the reasons why I hate it so much is because I know how much I love Jesus and I want to experience that love. Like I want to experience it with him.
Speaker 2
I want to feel how much I love him and I want to feel how much he loves me. And so I'll always be like, Jesus, would you give me access to my heart? I can't reach my heart.
I can't access my emotions.
Speaker 2 Like would you, would you, would you just melt this heart of ice and give me a heart of warmth and just give me access to my heart? And he always will. And praise until you feel it.
Speaker 2 praise until you feel it something that i was thinking about recently because um worship is such a massive part of my life and i need god to know how much i love and worship him so i spend so much time in worship singing to him i make up my own songs to jesus sometimes i'll write songs on the spot to him and like i just i realized recently like what is like a good measure for worship like how do you know you've reached something you know what i mean because it's not just about feelings but i really think that if it didn't move your heart it probably didn't move his.
Speaker 2
So if you're not able to access your heart, you need God to intervene and you need him to remove whatever block there is in that. So just ask him.
You know what the beautiful thing about Jesus is?
Speaker 2
You literally just get to ask him for anything and he does it because he loves us so much. Thank you, Jesus.
We love you guys so much. We hope that you love this GGB question session.
Speaker 2
I love these so much. I really do.
I feel like I'm talking to my best friends. I feel like we're in the same room together and I just, I love you.
I love your questions. I love reading them.
Speaker 2
I know we don't get to all of them, but I just love you guys. I love how interested you are.
I love how much you want to learn about Jesus.
Speaker 2 I'm just so proud of GigBgang that like so many of us aren't even like die long life.

Speaker 2
You guys, you know what's up, you know what you're doing. GGB gang is so smart and you guys just really ask the best questions.
So I love you so, so much. I love you guys.

We adore you and we just love you so much.

May he turn his face towards you and give you peace.
Speaker 2 We love you, we love you, we love you, GGB gang, forever.
Speaker 2
GGB gang, gang, gang, gang. If you've made it to the end of this, why don't you type GG? No, what should they type? GGB gang, gang, gang, gang.
Okay, G, yeah. Is that a little gangy?
Speaker 2
No, no, it's GGB gang, gang, gang, gang, gang. Okay.
So write that so we'll know. And when we see the comments, we'll know who made it to the end of the episode.
And if you did, you're a real one.
Speaker 2 We love you so much. We love you.
