Hello, Risky Business listeners. It's Maria and Nate.
We're stopping by to tell you about another podcast that we really enjoy and we think that you will like too.

It's Bloomberg's Odd Lots, Odd Lots, hosted by our friends Joe Weisenthal and Tracy Alloway. Joe and Tracy are journalists.
They know finance, markets, and economics inside and out.

Every episode they have an insightful, engaging, and nuanced conversation with the perfect guest.

Nate and I have both been on the show.

You could find a baker one day and a banker the next day in Odd Lots. You could also find us.
Last summer we went to Odd Lots to talk about election betting.

It was a pretty good conversation, I must say. We get along with Joe and Tracy really well, and we think it's a very sympathetico kind of vibe with this show.
Don't stop at just our episode.

Odd Lots hits a wide range of topics.

If you're interested in private credit, induction stoves, housing, supply chains, Euro dollars, dollar slice shops, startups, vaccines for bees, vaccines for shrimp, just about anything else, you might like the show.

Enjoy this preview of Odd Lots. It's available wherever you get your podcast.
New episodes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Hey there, I'm Tracy Alloway. And I'm Jill Weisenthal, and we're the co-hosts of Bloomberg's Odd Lots podcast.
Joe, how would you describe Oddlots?

I always say it's the most interesting and engaging conversations in finance, markets, and economics.

I would agree, and to be specific, we always have the perfect guests to talk about all sorts of things. Right, a real wide variety of topics.
Like we've talked about the possibility of a U.S.

debt crisis with Ray Dalia. And we've discussed tariffs and immigration with Stephen Myron from the White House, as well as interest rates with San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly.

We also talk about a lot of things that don't really fit into the market's themes on any specific day.

Yep, gold coins with Philip Deal, supersonic jets, induction stoves, an interview with the lentil king of Saskatchewan to talk trade and tariffs and supply chains.

It really is a lot of perfect guests. And we get into the weeds with all of them.
From the basic to the more complicated, we hit all of the burning questions.

Like, what do multi-strategy hedge funds actually do? And will all those billions pouring into AI actually turn into profit. We dive into the incentives, the whys, and the hows of it all.

So join us for all thoughts every Monday, Thursday, and Friday. New episodes on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
