Today, breaking news. President Donald Trump is signing an executive order making English the official U.S.
language. Did you know that we did not have a U.S.
language in our country's history? Even though, of course, the Constitution, the Declaration, the Federalist Papers, all of our founding documents are written in English, our laws and our customs, we have not had an official language of the United States. This is not insignificant.
This is about national unity. The numbers are approximate, and they could put them in the chat, but based on my memory, I believe that Spanish is the dominant language for those under the age of 40 in the state of California, if I'm not mistaken.
That Spanish is actually spoken more than English at home in the state of California. If you cannot communicate with your neighbor, you become a nation of strangers.
You become foreigners in your own land. And more importantly, this is a symbol that we do have a certain tradition in this country and we are going to protect and defend it.
Did you know that English is an official language in India, Pakistan, and the Philippines, but not in America? But up until today it is. California is one of the most linguistically diverse states in the United States.
It's estimated more than 200 languages are spoken on its territory. One fourth of the population was foreign born.
This is two times more than the rest of the United States, 10 million foreigners. And at some point you become a colony, not a country.
And if you want America to be a colony, just tell us that. A colony is where you could trade stuff, you could barter stuff.
However, you have nothing in common with your fellow countrymen. And language is fundamental to that.
A nation is comprised definitionally of three components, three ingredients. You must have borders or else you're not a nation.
You must have unified language or else you're not a nation. And you must have shared culture or else you are not a nation.
Borders, language, culture. And I originally got that, by the way, from the great Michael Savage, just to be clear.
I did not come up with that. But when I started listening to him back in 2010, 2011, he was always on borders, language, culture, borders, language, culture.
And he's exactly right. A nation ceases to exist without strong unifying practices and principles.
Six years ago, showed a study that there are more native Spanish speakers in the United States than in Spain. It's remarkable stuff.
And we're going to say, no, English is the official language of the United States and official government documents. And if you still want to talk Spanish at home, that's not what this applies to.
You could do obviously whatever you want, freedom of speech. This instead applies to what will the U.S.
government have as a standard? No more when you call DHS, it's going to be press two for Spanish. You got to learn English.
And by the way, all of our, well, not mine, because my family's been around since 1620,

but all of people that have immigrated to this country, assimilate.

If you do not assimilate to the land that you come to, then you don't have a nation.

Assimilate through culture and through, most importantly, language.

Learn English to become an American. It's a fundamental American practice, tradition, and value.
So I was on campus yesterday when a lot of this Epstein situation was unfolding. I'm very well read into some things happening in the White House.
This one, complete outsider. From what I understand, a lot of my friends were invited as influencers to some sort of an influencer gathering at the White House about meeting JD and meeting Caroline Levitt.
They were given binders about some of the Epstein documents, but apparently all the Epstein documents that they were given were documents that were already made public and so went totally viral. The camera op was not scheduled.
It seems as if that the press was there to see Keir Starmer. The Epstein files, which we need to see, it is mandatory that we, the American people, see the Epstein files.
We have been told they're coming. We've been told that the Epstein client list is on the desk.
We We need to see every single Epstein document non-redacted. No more redactions.

That should be sorted out as of today. And we'll look for Pam Bondi, who I really like and really respect to give updates.
But look, rather than being cynical, this is all proof that this administration wants to get the information out. But there are other open questions about what documents there even are on Epstein and what have been destroyed.
And that's the other thing. I bet there's been a lot of destruction of documents.
Are we going to learn about people like Les Wexner? We don't know. Are we going to learn about people like Reid Hoffman? We don't know.
Bondi is giving Kash Patel 14 days to get to the bottom of this. And I bet they're just shredding documents.
I don't want to be too cynical, but I bet there's a lot of destruction of documents right now. And allow me to please prove that to you.
Remember when Lois Lerner did the IRS targeting scandal against conservatives and she lost the emails and she lost the emails? Do you remember during the Mueller investigation? During the Mueller investigation, when the Mueller team intentionally inputted wrong passwords on their phones so many times that it triggered an automatic phone wipe. Whoops, broke my phone, thus triggering a complete deletion of all the text messages and communications on the Mueller team.
They should have been imprisoned just for that, the Mueller team. I want you to understand what the Mueller team did.
They went through their phone. So if you enter your wrong password enough times, like 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, wrong password, eventually it will wipe your phone.
And the entire team did that. That is flagrant obstruction of justice.
And none of them are held accountable. But of course, the most obvious was

Hillary Clinton's bleach bit of emails. The deep state operation, they're deleting Epstein files almost certainly as we speak.
Look, I trust Kash Patel with my life. I trust Pam Bondi.
I trust every single one of these people. And it's going to, I guarantee you right now, there is this major head-on collision happening.

And there you see a lot of my friends. There's Liz Wheeler, who's great.
There's Scott Pressler. There's Rogan O'Hanley.
And it says on the binders, the Epstein files, which is technically true. However, a lot of these files, almost all of them were already out previously.
And look, more will come, I hope. And we want transparency.
In fact, we demand transparency. And we've been told that the Epstein client list is right there on the desk.
So we need to see it. The expectation has been set very, very high here.
And the letter is, Dear Director Patel, before you came into office, I request the full and complete files related to Epstein. You know, by 8 p.m., 8 a.m.
tomorrow, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to our office. Guys, we just got to get these out.
I'm going to be very honest. You just got to get them all out.
No more filter. We don't care.
And just to be clear, a lot of all these friends that were there, Jack and Rogan, they thought they were receiving actual Epstein files. These are stuff that we've known for three years.
There's nothing new in these. And Mike Cernovich was there, great American.
All of them are great. They're all my friends.
I mean, they're phenomenal, every single one of them. And there's a very easy way to make this right.
Every single document needs to be made public. No redactions, no names removed.
Every single document. Just put it out there.
Full transparency. Just publish them on a DOJ website.
Allow the internet to go ablaze. Let things happen.
There's over 250 victims, they say. And by the way, Trump signed an executive order ordering this.
Trump, this is all under the guise that Trump said this. He signed the executive order.
And so yesterday, again, I was on campus. I had a huge donor event last night.
People were texting me. I was getting calls about Epstein.
I said, what are you talking about Epstein, all this stuff? Meanwhile, Jack's taking selfies with binders, and we got people. I was like, oh, people are all over the place.
A very confusing news day for me. I was handling, I was putting out fires.
I was raising money, and people are calling me like, why are they doing selfies? And there was an influence me I had no idea all I know is this is that we deserve we were promised every single Epstein file with no redactions and I hope we get it hey everybody Charlie Kirk here there's a lot of excitement in Washington DC as we start the year but I wanted to talk to you about something just as exciting happening outside the D.C. Beltway, a revolution in the states.

In the first few weeks, we're going to be sitting down with some of the biggest leaders and architects in the mega movement. This is Gavin Newsom.
So Alex is a Californian. Alex, I want to get your take on Gavin's new podcast.
And what advice would you have for me as I venture into that? Well, first of all, I'm kind of surprised he's having you on, Charlie, because he is not a good debater. And you're a not only a great debater, but you're a seasoned debater.
You've been doing it nonstop for it's got to be over a decade now. He is someone who's gonna be very vulnerable to debate.
And I would not not necessarily debate him in a traditional sense because you're going to crush him and it might look weird. What I would love to see you do is actually probe his bad ideas because he's got a couple of parlor tricks.
He uses vocabulary to make it sound like he's incredibly informed on stuff. He'll use words that you don't even know.
If you ask him to find the words, he doesn't know what they are. And he doesn't have a good track record.
He tends to know where to show up in places and how to speak nicely to people who might disagree with him. But then he goes around and he's spending, you know, $50 million right now trying to Trump-proof California at the same time he's asking for Trump to spend $40 billion on fire relief.
He's never really explained why the reservoirs have run dry and why we prioritize the Delta smelt over the human populations when it comes to the fires in California. So, but the main thing I would do, Charlie, if I were you, is just ask him to fully flesh out his positions.
And what you'll find is he'll be using these words that are just trying to impress people as if he's an expert. He's not an expert at anything other than being a politician.
You being a Californian, what would you say, an average nonpolitical Californian, if they had an opportunity to challenge Gavin Newsom in an unfiltered way, what would they say? What would they complain about? What would they question? Yeah, so the first thing that we would ask is why was there nothing done to mitigate or prevent the fires? Why was everything such a mess? They didn't make one decision properly. They had used all the DEI to gut the fire departments.
They had not updated.

They hadn't built a dam in 40 years.

Dam, D-A-M, not D-A-M-N.

It is one of these things where there is nothing that had changed.

And we had prioritized bait fish.

We had prioritized salmon runs.

And ask him why he thinks that he should be, he does not deserve any accountability considering

he's been a fixture in California politics for that long.

That's number one.

That's number one. Number two, another thing is legal immigration.
The state has been completely changed by illegal immigration, not just electorally, but our school systems are unusable because of it. We're in immense amounts of debt.
And he's never been held accountable, even though he'd been an open borders guy forever. And the world's moved on.
And I would love to hear him acknowledge. Do you know the world's move on? Do you know people get it now that the open borders was a huge problem? I would love to hear his explanation to that as well.
And then also he squandered a golden opportunity and that we did budget surplus for a while and he just blew it. You should ask him what he did with all that money.
What good came of all the money that he blew? It was so crazy that we had a surplus.

I couldn't even believe it myself.

And he wasted it.

That was his ticket to have a chance of beating Trump. And I don't see how he could beat anyone in 2028, considering he blew all that, if we're able to make that case as a party.

Quickly, he's probably going to run to the middle and position himself more as a moderate.

I'm just kind of inferring based on that trailer. Do you think something like that could end up being successful? 30 seconds.
Yeah, it's a great thing that he has a feel for being able to do this. He has a feel for being able to find a centrist position, but just know he's governed as a pure leftist.
And it won't take you very long to bone up on some of his key proponents that he's taken up

over the years, but they are across the board, left-wing Democrat, quote-unquote progressive

politics without a single exception. He's never worked for a Republican or a moderate, which is

why, again, I'm frankly surprised actually having you on because he's terrible in these situations

because he's not used to debating people who disagree with him completely.

I rarely disagree with Alex. I'll say I think he's smooth and slick.
We'll see.

One of the most important things happening in the country politically right now is the Supreme Court special election in the wonderful state of Wisconsin.

And joining us right now is the candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Brad Schimmel, a great Wisconsinite and American patriot. Brad, welcome to the program.
Thank you, Charlie. Thanks for having me on.
And thanks for all you're doing to get the truth to conservatives and to get them to the polls. This is the key here.
We've got to get conservatives to wake up and get out and vote. It's the only way we're going to take our nation back and we're going to take the state of Wisconsin back.
I completely agree. And let's just frame the significance of this.
And everybody in Wisconsin or neighboring state, I want you to drop what you're doing and listen carefully. Brad, it's an off election year.
It's 2025. Didn't we just have an election? Didn't we just elect the president? Why is this important?

We have tons of time.

What's going on and why does this matter?

Well, in Wisconsin, we have our judicial elections in April.

So this is the normal judicial election cycle.

We have seven justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Only one can be on the ballot at a time.

We've got a liberal justice retiring, and this is an open seat. The stakes could not be higher here in Wisconsin.
We have leftists took over the majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court two years ago in 2023, and they're going through a political agenda. They are working to wipe out every conservative reform that's been passed in Wisconsin to make us strong, prosperous, safe.
All those things are on the chopping block now. And it's not just about Wisconsin.
This is something that this race has become nationalized first from liberal billionaires across America who saw an opportunity in Wisconsin to take the presidency, to take the House of Representatives. Here's how.
My opponent went on a Zoom call with billionaire donors across America, liberal ones, of course, and she offered up that if she gets help getting elected onto the Wisconsin Supreme Court, they're going to take out two Republican congressional seats in Wisconsin and turn them Democrat. That's what they're offering up.
This is bigger than just Wisconsin. They are looking to control America through the actions of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
And the way she's going to do it is they're going to redistrict. They're going to take those two, our two toughest Republican districts in Wisconsin, redistrict them so they can flip them Democrat.
That's what they're up to. So let's let's go back to the previous Supreme Court race that we lost, I believe, in 2023.
What happened after we lost that? What were some of the decisions that ensued because of that lost election? You know, the candidate who ran the liberal, she openly stated on the campaign trail how she was going to rule on cases. She told voters that the maps are rigged, referring to the state legislative district maps.
She said they're rigged over and over again. No surprise, the day after she was sworn in, a lawsuit was filed to have those maps strucken down.
And within a matter of months, the leftist majority bypassed the trial court, bypassed the court of appeals, took the case directly up and struck down the maps that were put in law by our state legislature so they could be redistricted and gerrymandered to help Democrats. That's what they're up to.
They promised on the campaign trail that they're going to take out a thing called Act 10. Most people in America don't know what it is, but it's a reform in Wisconsin that limited some of the bargaining power of public employee unions.
Has nothing to do with private sector unions, but limited some of the power of public sector unions. They're promising on the campaign trail to take that out.
That is going to cost instantly, it's going to cost Wisconsinites billions to try to overcome what happens when that law is wiped out. They promised to do this.
They're going to keep that promise. My opponent was the lead lawyer attacking Act 10 in the courts over a decade ago.
You know what she's going to do. It's not hard to predict

what's going to happen next, given what they're doing. You mentioned something of great significance.
You said there is a lot of national out-of-state Wisconsin money flowing into this. Explain more, please.
You know, my opponent has gotten nearly half of her money from outside the state of Wisconsin. 97% of the money I've gotten and 97% of my donors are from people who vote in Wisconsin.
I'm proud of that. And I prefer that, but I can't keep up if she's going to continue to get a million dollars from George Soros.
He just passed a check right through the state Democratic Party for a million dollars to my opponent. The governor of Illinois is in for over half a million dollars already.
He was in for a million dollars two years ago. Reid Hoffman is already in for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
She's getting all this money from these national liberal billionaires. And I'm particularly concerned about George Soros, because if that guy's influencing what someone does in a race, we're not going to last very long as a state.
He hates everything good about America. I want everyone to donate.

I want to also, I want to ask just the trend of these elections has become unnecessarily more partisan. I imagine that 20 or 30 years ago, Wisconsin Supreme Court elections weren't this divisive.
But it is those on the left or on the activist side that are deciding to rewrite the Constitution and contort state law towards their political aims and ends and purposes. Please speak to this.
Right. They went raw political in 2023, promising what they were going to do on the bench when they got their majority elected.
And then they went forward and they started delivering on those promises. They have turned this raw partisan.
And we have to turn this back. The reason I got in this race is to restore objectivity of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
The legislature should make the law. The political branches should worry about the politics.
On the court, we should set that aside. When you put the black robe on, that's symbolic of being objective, being impartial, not worrying about whether it's a good policy or a bad policy, but simply enforcing and implementing the law the way the legislature wrote it.
If we don't do it that way, this all fails. If the court's going to get into writing the laws, then there's no reason to have a legislature.
If the court's going to engage in political decisions, then there's no reason to have an executive branch. And it takes away power from voters.
Our Supreme Court justices are elected statewide for a 10-year term. So when they decide what the law says, that means the local legislature that represents you has no power.
And that means you as a voter have no power. You have no way to take these justices out until 10 years later, and they're going to decide everything for you.
That's what we have in Wisconsin. In closing here, I know you anticipate being outspent but not outworked.
What are ways that people can help? And also reiterate, this is a purely turnout election, that if we turn out, if we can get even – we won't get close to presidential turnout. But I mean, even if we can break records and get low propensity voters, we're going to win.
Please explain more. Yep.
That's exactly the key. 3.4 million people voted in Wisconsin in our November election.
Now on April 1st, we expect about a million and a half of them to fall off. Whoever retains their voters best wins in this.
We've got to get out and ask those low propensity and mid propensity conservative leading voters, ask them if the job is done. Do they think it's finished? And I think they're all going to say, no, there's a lot more work to do.
Well, then we've got to convince them that part of that work is to get out and vote April 1st. If I get 60% of the voters who voted for Donald Trump in Wisconsin for November 5th, if I get 60% of them to come out and vote for me on April 1st, I win.
That's our message to people is get out there and vote. This job is not done.
And it didn't take that much effort. Seriously, it didn't take that much time to go vote.
Nothing bad happened. No SWAT team came and kicked your door in after you voted.
And you got to feel great on the morning after the election, knowing you were part of a movement to save our nation. You can continue to be part of that movement and have that great feeling on April 2nd.
If you get out and vote April 1st, and actually we've got to encourage people, Wisconsin has very expansive early voting laws. You can start voting by mail early by March 11th.
You can vote in person early absentee March 18th. We're urging people to get out and do that because in Wisconsin, we can certainly have a blizzard on April 1st.
You don't want to have that happen and you don't get out and get your votes cast. We have people watching who live in Wisconsin, people listening to the show that they have relatives in Wisconsin.

Okay, everybody, there is a lot going on in a certain Eastern European country, and it's not Ukraine. We will talk about Ukraine, but it's Romania.
Growing up in Chicago, there were some amazing Romanian-Americans that I was raised with, really great people that were passionate about America, and of course, also the country of origin of Romania. It's always been a beautiful place.
My wife's visited there. She's done a lot of work.
But what's going on in Romania is of international significance that everyone here should care about. Canceled elections, people being detained for differences of opinion, and so much more.
To help us understand this is the former Prime Minister of Romania. He's a member of the Chamber of Deputies and also a candidate for a new term for the President of Romania, Victor Ponta.
Mr. Prime Minister, thank you so much for joining the program and for making time for us today.
Please take a second to introduce yourself and welcome to the program. First of all, good morning in America.
It's not morning in Romania, but we are really looking for sunnier weather here in terms of politics. And we have great hopes after the new Trump administration came.
Yes, I was prime Minister a long time, 10 years ago, when Romania was trying to become a real strategic partner for the United States, when Romania was making big economic advances. But in the last years, unfortunately, a sort of network of, like you say, you call it in America, the deep state, took over the power.

It was strongly supported by some people in Brussels and even some people in your former administration. administration.

Romanian people, they just

want to

live peacefully,

to be a part of Europe,

but to have a special relationship with the United States.

There was a lot of hope with the new administration, with Trump administration, that we will go back to our shared values.

But as you mentioned, and I'm sure you want to get to the point, what happened in the elections showed us that the former system do not surrender, do not accept the vote of the people.

Last year in November, it was the first round which was cancelled based on some allegation never proved.

And since then, we are in this turmoil.

Officially, we will have new elections in May, but every day something new is happening and I think that what is happening in Romania is significant for the whole fight for freedom of speech, for the will of the people and change of the former system in US, in Europe and all over the world. So thank you for that.
I know you're running for president again, which is of high consequence and also potential risk given all of the different factors. So let's just repeat what you said and further explain this.
So Romania is part of NATO and part of now the Western democratic traditions.

And I put that in air quotes.

And it's supposed to be a country that would respect democracy and freedom of speech and the will of the people.

I don't want to move on too quickly from what you said.

There was a nullified presidential election.

And what was the accusation and who was able to make that decision? So let's try to explain something which is difficult to explain even to the Romanian people, the ones who get to vote. They saw a result with two candidates in the second round.
One is Mr. Georgescu, the other one a lady from a very progressive party.
They qualified for the second round. It was obvious, according to all the polls and the public mood, that Mr.
Georgescu was going to win. And then the Supreme Council of Defending the Country, which is a body chaired by the former president of Romania who finished his mandate, they recommended the Constitutional Court to cancel the elections based on an allegation that it was Russian and foreign interference in support of one of the candidates.
We were all shocked. First, because in our democratic experience in the last 35 years, it was the first time that an election is cancelled.
Second, because the allegations coming from the former president were

so, let's say,

really shocking. Russia

interference. We've just

us and

US and Europe

and the independent

observers, they just said,

show us the proof, show us the evidence.

We've seen that also in

your election, so many

allegations of Mr.

Trump being supported by Russia. And we haven't seen any evidence up to now.
The election was still cancelled by the Constitutional Court. And the turmoil, the angriness of the people, it's going towards the idea you don't accept our vote unless our vote is the direction that you wish.
Something that Vice President Vance underlined in the recent Munich conference speech and which our political establishment rejected. But the majority of the people consider it right and true regarding our situation.
So I have to stay on this for a second. So this sounds very similar to what happened in America in 2017 when they were criticizing President Trump for being a Russian agent.
What was the supposed interference? Were they complaining about Facebook ads or TikTok or something on X?

And you have a constitutional court that has the ability to nullify the will of the Romanian people? So the main allegation was that the TikTok campaign of one of the candidates has been massively

supported

from outside of the country

and by a state entity. This is called in this Supreme Council of Defense statement.
And then, yes, the Constitutional Court in Romania, it has the general right, like it is the Supreme Court in the United States, of defending the constitution. It doesn't say in any provision that they can cancel the election, or they can...
It's just guarding the constitution, and also the constitutional Court is supposed to certify the result of the presidential election.

But it has never interfered before. We had many presidential elections.

We had good results and bad results, depending on which candidate we supported.

But the Constitutional Court, if you ask me very specifically, its first time in 35 years when it takes such a decision of examining and the cancellation of presidential election. That's why we are all so frustrated and so worried about the real democratic rules, because majority of us, we feel that this is not democratic, that if the people vote, a body made up of nine people, they can cancel this.
Yeah, that's very true, and that's very bluntly said. So let me just ask, the fellow European countries that are defenders of democracy that are relentlessly lecturing America and Romania about the need for elections and we can't have autocracy.
Did Germany speak out against this? Did France speak out against this? Did Italy speak out against this? the fact that you guys were not able to have an election.

What was the response from the ruling class of the European elite when your election was nullified? Unfortunately, Charlie, it was the response that you for sure you will expect. They immediately took the official statement and they supported it without having any more data than the statement from Romanian authorities.
And they said, yeah, yeah, it's obvious that Russia has interfered. And I would also add that your former State Secretary, Mr.
Blinken, maybe in 48 hours, had the same opinion. And the public, he published his opinion.
We support Romanian government and authorities on cancelling the election. When the administration changed, and we are happy for this, it started to be a real debate.
And it started to, first of all, the U.S. new government to ask questions.
Really, what are your proofs? What are your evidence? How did you take such a decision? How do you want to give us, your partners, clear messages that you will respect the will of the people? But December, as you regarding your very direct question, the European establishment and the Biden administration, they just took it for granted the short communication of the Romanian authorities, and they didn't check. They just supported without getting too deep into this.
All in the name of democracy, the Western governments who constantly are telling us that autocracy is growing, that for some reason we have to cancel elections. So I know that you're going to be running for president again.
I want to get into that. But let me just ask a more broad and general question.
Of course, Romania was in the Eastern Bloc for decades and lived under a form of totalitarianism, outsourced totalitarianism, and communism and Marxism. I know you're running for the presidency again, and you were former prime minister.
Are you concerned that the country that you love, that you want to serve again, is becoming more like a Soviet top-down dictatorship than a Western liberal democracy? I am very concerned because I've seen what happened

in Romania in the last years. And because you mentioned, yes, we come from the communist bloc, but even during the Soviet time, we succeeded to preserve our national values, which is loving our country, religion, family, traditional values,

which are very close to our mentality. And in the last years we felt like coming from Brussels this time, not from Moscow, it was the same effort of trying to change our values, our mentality, our traditions.
And the reaction of the people, including myself, it was like, look, we want to be in Europe, we feel well in Europe, but we want to be Romanians, and we want to put Romania first, and that's why the majority of Romanians, they were clear supporters of President Trump when saying America first. It's something that not only Romanian people, but I think the eastern countries felt even more than the western ones.
It was a sort of dictatorship of unnatural and unspecific values from Brussels besides the huge bureaucracy, the hypocrisy coming from there and this very easy Orwellian speech if you are with us you are good, if you disagree on something you are with Russia or you are with somebody bad. It was a huge pressure and this is how I explain why the two candidates coming from the government, from the main parties, they did not even qualify for the second round.
It was first time in our democracy and it gave a very, very strong message about what Romanian people really want. A big change, not changing the Moscow times with the Brussels times.
We don't love Russia. We are afraid of Russia, but we see United States as being our ally, which will guarantee not only our military safe, but also our values and our democracy and our freedom of speech and everything that we and our parents have fought for.
So I want to continue on that, which is if you are elected prime minister again, how would you position yourself with the incoming Trump

administration? Because the new German government seems to be saying we must decouple from the

United States. You're running for president, not prime minister.
I'm sorry. You're running for

president. My apologies.
And so if you are president again, how would you position your

country with the United States when it comes to not just international and geopolitical matters, but also ones of domestic concern? How should Romania and the United States work cooperatively? I strongly believe that first of all, the values, most of the values that the Trump administration is trying to reinstate in the United States are not only acceptable, but are feeling very familiar to Romanians.

Once again, to put your country on first position, you put the United States, and President Trump is doing this.

We should put Romania on the first position always, and to fight for our sovereignty and our national interest. Also, once again, that respecting all the people.
But we have a tradition, we have a religion, we have our values which should be respected and in Europe we just have to be member of a club but not surrendering our tradition and our national interest. Being more concrete regarding this new, because it's a new, let's call it the conflict between US and the European establishment first of all I think that the idea of change it's more than necessary for Europe like it is for America whatever it's important about reducing bureaucracy reducing getting back to the real values, cutting off the Soros fake values that were imposed.
It's something good for Europe and it's something good for Romania. Besides that, in terms of security, Romania wishes to contribute more.
We understand that we cannot just say we don't care. America will defend us against Russia, so it's U.S.
concern to bring here military. No, we want to share.
We want to have a very pragmatic approach, saying, look, Romania can afford now to pay, to invest more, as long as we have a strong and reliable partner

in the United States.

And I strongly believe that Europe is going to be weaker without the United States.

I strongly believe that NATO without the United States doesn't exist and doesn't work.

And it's the interest of Romania, and it's in the good interest of Europe, to strengthen the relationship, military, politically, economically, with the United States, not to look for a conflict, which will totally be in disadvantage of my country and Europe. When when you during your premiership, the Romanian economy grew quite significantly.
And what was your proudest achievement achievement when you were prime minister? And what would you have done differently, maybe in hindsight, from 2012 to 2015? So when I was prime minister, this is something that, to my big surprise, my enemies and my friends are sharing. The Romanian economy was growing based on very low taxation and less reglementation.
And also, we strengthened the partnership with the United States. And we tried, I was the one to start the big projects with American companies regarding our natural resources.
Romania is a very rich country. Human richness, but also natural resources.
We started the exploration for the natural gas on the Black Sea. So big economic projects which made the life of Romanians much better and they felt it like this.
They felt it in their pockets. They felt it in the quality of education and health.
This is something that Romanians really appreciated to see the economic growth. What I would do differently, and I will do differently, I will take from President Millet of Argentina, I will take maybe not a silver, we are a very rich country in gold.
I will take a gold machine and cut our bureaucracy. And also I will start the fight with the only bureaucracy which is worse than Romanian.
I mean the Brussels and European bureaucracy. I think this is the biggest problem for development of Romania and Europe.
And besides the bureaucracy, because this is very important to mention, the Soros Network ruled Romania and it's still ruling. And it doesn't rule Romania in the interest of our people.
I think the values that they imposed on us, they were wrong values. And I'm sure that I will assure that Romanians are living every day based on their values, not on imposed values.
So thank you for mentioning that. Let's dive a little bit deeper, if that's okay.
George Soros is well known here in American circles for pumping billions of dollars into our communities, our neighborhoods, our district attorney races, trying to thwart the will of the people and trying to turn America into an open border, no crime enforcement, weakened, disastrous country. What specifically has George Soros and his foundation, Open Society Foundation, done in your country?

And if you win the election, what would you do about it? The worst thing that people financed and supported, not only by Soros NGOs, but sometimes even from your USAID funds. and we were so happy to see that you started in America to unveil how those funds were used and how those funds were used against the interest of the people, but rather to control different countries and different nations.
So maybe the worst thing that they do,

they try to control the judiciary.

And

a lot of prosecutors and judges

they just persecuted

people for, because

we were promoting different

political ideas.

They prosecuted people

for having different opinion

on social networks

or in the media.

The Soros

The Soros network built up a sort of network of analysts, reporters, journalists, influencers who are just telling us this is the truth, these are the values, you have to obey to this,

or otherwise our prosecutors will prosecute you for something else. And now just crossing my mind, I remember that the biggest protesters against all energy and natural resources projects

that we started with big American companies, so the protesters, they were openly financed and supported by Soros. That's why we remained so much looking to our resources without being able to use it for our people.
It was a very bad network.

And it is still in place.

And they are the ones telling us

right now, Trump is bad.

America is bad.

We have to fight with them.

But thanks God,

the public mood

this time really changed.

And it's not so easy to be

intimidated or manipulated like it used to be before. Well, I am thrilled to hear that.
So anything else you want our audience to be aware of about why you are running and the stakes? And who is your opposition? What is the contrasting political party? What are they advocating for? Kind of educate our audience, the separate visions that are being presented to the Romanian people. So I would just wish to take this great opportunity to talk to you.
You have so many followers, so many people in America, first of all, to tell you that majority of American people, they really look to United States like the model for democracy and for freedom. And even my parents, they look to this, and my grandparents, they were waiting for the Americans to free us, to make us live in peace and freedom and democracy.
And it's still the same. And I also wish to tell you that all the Romanians, most of the Romanians who are working in America or with U.S.
companies, they try to prove that we are good partners and reliable partners. We share the same value.
We like to go to church. We like to go to family.
we like to love our country and to be allowed to do this. And I'm sure that even that we are not such a big country, but we are a significant country in this area, you can rely on us as long as you find the trustworthy people.
I strongly believe that this partnership is a win-win. It's not Romanians asking from Americans.
It's rather let's live together on the same, sharing the same values. Let's do business together.
Let's defend together and pay our fair share for this. And let's make America great again and make Romania free and independent again.
I love it. Let me just play a couple pieces of tape here and I would love to get your reaction.
Let's go to cut 209, please. Now, we're at the point, of course, that the situation has gotten so bad that this December, Romania straight up canceled the results of a presidential election based on the flimsy suspicions of an intelligence agency and enormous pressure from its continental neighbors.
Now, as I understand it, the argument was that Russian disinformation had infected the Romanian elections. But I'd ask my European friends to have some perspective.
You can believe it's wrong for Russia to buy social media advertisements to influence your elections. We certainly do.
You can condemn it on the world stage even. But if your democracy can be destroyed with a few hundred thousand dollars of digital advertising from a foreign country, then it wasn't very strong to begin with.
Your reaction, sir? Yeah, I was listening to the speech of Vice President Vance and for most of the Romanians, it was like, you see, they come to help us when we need. Our president, our politicians, they were enraged.
Oh, it's not true, but yes, it's true. Are we a strong democracy? Then if we are a strong democracy, we don't use undemocratic tools to cancel election.
We have to prove if Russia has been involved or not. Otherwise the people went to vote.
You have to respect that vote. That was the message that I got from Vice President Vance.
And I think it was what the majority of Romanians were wanting to hear. And they were pleased to see that our big partner finally has such a strong voice supporting the Romanian people will.
Very good to have you on the program, sir. Thank you for all of your time.
I would love to visit Romania. However, I will say this as a Westerner, I don't know, under current leadership, if I were to come to Romania, I might be arrested under the direction that it's going.
So we need you to win the presidency or whomever, whatever party. And then I would imagine I would be welcome in your country.
Is that correct? It's more than correct. You will see Romanians are wonderful people.
It's a wonderful country. And we will fight for our rights.
And we will be most welcome to a new free and democratic Romania. I'm sure about it.
And it's going to be very soon. We'll be watching very closely.
And hopefully you'll be able to restrain the Soros
