Speaker 3 You're listening to
Speaker 3 the best of the Blenbeck program.
Speaker 3 I say hello and welcome to our executive producer, Mr. Stuberge.
Speaker 2 We were both up late last night. You were up later than I was.
Speaker 3
Yeah, it was a lot, a lot to talk about last night. We had Blaze TV coverage.
It was, you know, a crazy night and a bizarre, bizarre moment in our history. Yeah.
But Kamala Harris had her big speech.
Speaker 3 Yeah. The big.
Speaker 3 She did a lot to get that nomination, Glenn. She kind of stood back and watched it all happen.
Speaker 2
Yeah, she did. She worked hard for it.
Not a single vote, but she worked hard for it. I have to tell you, it was,
Speaker 2 you know,
Speaker 2 I just watched it. My head just about exploded.
Speaker 2
I had vivid dreams last night, you know, four hours of fitful sleep. And I'm ready.
Let's go. The new normal is here.
Let's do it.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 2 she accepted the nomination
Speaker 2 last night, and it was a beautiful moment. Cut 29, please.
Speaker 4 And so,
Speaker 4 on behalf of the people, people,
Speaker 4 on behalf
Speaker 4 of every American, regardless of party, race, gender, or the language your grandmother speaks,
Speaker 4 on behalf of my mother
Speaker 4 and everyone who has ever set out on their own unlikely journey,
Speaker 4 on behalf of Americans like the people I grew up with, people who work hard,
Speaker 4 chase their dreams, and look out for one another,
Speaker 4 on behalf of everyone
Speaker 4 whose story could only be written in the greatest nation on earth.
Speaker 3 Oh, so passionate. Surely she believes that.
Speaker 3
It's a loud crowd. I mean, you got to give it to them.
It was quite the show.
Speaker 2
No, it was quite the show. She did a very good job.
It was a nice performance. None of it was real.
None of it was really accurate.
Speaker 2 I mean, I couldn't take when she said, you know, the greatest country in the world, excuse me?
Speaker 2 Excuse me?
Speaker 2 How could you possibly say that after the years of things that you've said, which were exactly the opposite?
Speaker 2 It was, there were times that I thought it could have been delivered by Ronald Reagan. The policies that when she was, not even policies, the outline of, you know,
Speaker 2 we're low taxes, we're,
Speaker 2 you know, we're for the family, we're for all of, could have been Ronald Reagan. We love our troops.
Speaker 3 We were pro-military.
Speaker 2 We're pro-police.
Speaker 2 I mean,
Speaker 3 who are these?
Speaker 2
I could not believe it. I couldn't believe it.
So just a reminder before we go in, cut 31, please. Let me just give you a little flashback.
Here's Kamala telling you the truth.
Speaker 4 And yeah, I am a radical.
Speaker 4 I do believe that we need to get radical about what we are doing and take it seriously.
Speaker 2
Okay. All right.
So
Speaker 2 she is radical.
Speaker 2 Now, let me give you some of the things that she's radical on.
Speaker 2 First, let's see here.
Speaker 2 How about this one? Cut 18.
Speaker 4 Opportunity is not available to everyone.
Speaker 4 That's why we will create what I call an opportunity economy, an opportunity economy where everyone has the chance to compete and a chance to succeed.
Speaker 4 Whether
Speaker 2 you live in a rural area, small town, or big city.
Speaker 4 And as president, I will bring together labor and workers and small business owners and entrepreneurs and American companies to create jobs, to grow our economy and to lower the cost of everyday needs like health care and housing and groceries.
Speaker 4 We will provide access to capital for small business owners and entrepreneurs and founders.
Speaker 4 And we will end America's housing shortage.
Speaker 2 Yeah,
Speaker 2 she's going to end America's housing shortage. And one of the ways she's going to do that is to have
Speaker 2 the right to housing and health care.
Speaker 2 Now that was exciting
Speaker 2 because I heard that the day before from our vice president, as I pointed out to you yesterday, that was the exact language that is in the Soviet Constitution.
Speaker 2 You have a right to housing and health care. And we all know how good that health care and housing really was in the Soviet Union.
Speaker 2 When she talks about providing housing,
Speaker 2 that is not a right.
Speaker 2
That is an American dream, not a right. But they're changing that.
When she talks about I'm going to lower the cost of everyday items, she's not talking about by increasing growth.
Speaker 2 She's talking about price controls, something else that comes from communist nations. It is extraordinarily dangerous.
Speaker 2 The lies that were told yesterday, but I'll get into those here in just a second.
Speaker 2 Here she is. Now, see if this doesn't sound like Lindsey Graham, cut 22.
Speaker 4 As commander-in-chief, I will ensure America always has the strongest, most lethal fighting force in the world.
Speaker 2 Neocon, Neocon.
Speaker 4 And I will fulfill our sacred obligation to care for our troops and their families. And I will always honor and never disparage.
Speaker 2 Stop.
Speaker 2 Stu.
Speaker 2 Whose administration said if you don't put this untested uh unknown experimental drug in your body
Speaker 2 you had to be removed from the military who was that which administration i'm trying to remember there was a an a president i think his name was biden um yeah but i mean who was his vice president
Speaker 3 That's, you know, history has lost that, unfortunately.
Speaker 3 It's a fact that no one knows these days.
Speaker 2
Yeah, no one knows anymore. That is just weird.
Don't talk to me about respecting our military when your administration won't even admit that anyone died
Speaker 2
in Afghanistan. Don't talk to me about being strong and a leader of NATO and you would never leave your allies behind when you didn't even tell England we were leaving.
Just leaving Afghanistan.
Speaker 2 Leaving them in the lurch.
Speaker 2 Oh,
Speaker 2 it's so maddening. All right, go ahead, finish.
Speaker 4 And their families, and I will always honor and never disparage their service and their sacrifice.
Speaker 2 This is a Democrat?
Speaker 2 No, this is a show for the Reagan Democrats.
Speaker 2 That we leave the world
Speaker 4 into the future on space and artificial intelligence, that America, not China, wins the competition for the 21st century, and that we strengthen, not abdicate, our global leadership.
Speaker 2
Trump on the other hand. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
That we don't advocate or abdicate our
Speaker 2 global position as a leader.
Speaker 2 That's America first.
Speaker 2 Okay, that's America first.
Speaker 2 What are you talking about? We're just another country just like every other country, and we are just, you know, maybe it's time for the hegemony to end.
Speaker 2 The Americans have been trying to lead the world for the rest. Who are we to do that?
Speaker 2 Oh my gosh,
Speaker 2 I can't put into words how stupid you have to be to buy any of this.
Speaker 2 This was an absolute show last night. They are hoping that in the next 12 weeks, nobody gets a chance to ask her a question, that she is on teleprompter the entire time.
Speaker 2 Remember, six weeks ago,
Speaker 2 Even the press thought she was an idiot.
Speaker 2 Even the press thought that she was
Speaker 2 horrible to her staff and a horrible person.
Speaker 2 Now she's Mother Teresa, except Mother Teresa with nuclear armaments that are gonna, she's gonna be strong. Now listen some more.
Speaker 4 Trump, on the other hand,
Speaker 4 threatened to abandon NATO. He encouraged Putin to invade our allies,
Speaker 4 said Russia could, quote, do whatever the hell they want.
Speaker 2 Uh-huh.
Speaker 4
Five days before Russia attacked Ukraine, I met with President Zelensky to warn him about Russia's plan to invade. I helped mobilize a global response.
Over 50.
Speaker 4 Stop.
Speaker 2
Stop. Okay.
All right. You got to go back a little bit because I want to make sure you mobilize.
I mobilize that is the next sentence I want to take apart. So five days before
Speaker 2 she went and met personally with Vladimir
Speaker 2
Zelensky to warn him of Russia's plans. Everyone knew of Russia's plans.
Everyone knew. This was not a hard thing to figure out.
When your administration was saying, oh, you know what?
Speaker 2
We're going to let him into NATO. We're going to let him into NATO.
We're going to let him into NATO. And Russia saying, the only thing we want is you not to let them into NATO.
Speaker 2
We're going to let them into NATO. It didn't take a genius to figure out what they were going to do.
Now listen to the rest of it.
Speaker 4 Five days before Russia attacked Ukraine, I met with President Zelensky to warn him about Russia's plan to invade.
Speaker 4 I helped mobilize a global response over 50 countries to defend against Putin's aggression.
Speaker 2 Stop.
Speaker 2 Now, Stu, what was different
Speaker 2 about this coalition that we had never, ever seen before?
Speaker 2 You remember?
Speaker 3 What was different about the coalition?
Speaker 2 Uh-huh. That we had never seen before.
Speaker 3 Yeah, you're going to have to remind me on that one.
Speaker 2 Okay.
Speaker 2 Do you remember McDonald's?
Speaker 3 Yes.
Speaker 3 All the big companies.
Speaker 3 It was
Speaker 2 universal. It was a coalition of countries.
Speaker 2 And countries,
Speaker 2 when she put that coalition together, that's when gas prices went through the roof. Okay.
Speaker 2 Between them shutting off all of our pipelines and then saying,
Speaker 2 Russia
Speaker 2
we can't buy any Russian oil, which never worked. Because we're going to collapse their economy.
Oh, good. Good.
Yeah. Maybe somebody should try that.
Oh, they're doing it themselves with our economy.
Speaker 2 What was different about this coalition is when it came together, it involved the largest corporations in the world.
Speaker 2
And McDonald's walked away from every asset they had in Russia. They said at first they can't be a part of the blockade.
They can't.
Speaker 2 They have too much money, too many resources there, and they've worked too hard to grow McDonald's in Russia.
Speaker 2 And then two days later, after the big banks and the Harris administration came in and put the screws to them, they were like, you know what? We're just going to walk away from all of those.
Speaker 2
We're just going to walk away. I'd love to know, Kamala, what those negotiations were like.
What did you promise McDonald's? How did you get everyone on board? How?
Speaker 2 Through threats, intimidation, ESG,
Speaker 2 and the World Economic Forum. That was the first time we saw what a global government could possibly do.
Speaker 2 But I digress. Last part.
Speaker 4 Defend against Putin's aggression.
Speaker 4 And as president, I will stand strong with Ukraine and our NATO allies.
Speaker 2 Listen to that crowd.
Speaker 2 I will stand strong with Ukraine. Ukraine's not a popular thing.
Speaker 2 But they cheered.
Speaker 2 I'm reminded by
Speaker 2 the
Speaker 2 Star Wars line. And this
Speaker 2 is the way democracy ends.
Speaker 2
So Labor Day is just around the corner. And you know what that means? Barbecue.
Yeah. Uh-huh.

Now back to the podcast.
Speaker 2 This is the best of the Glenn Beck program, and we really want to thank you for listening.
Speaker 2 I don't know if you saw, but the teachers' union heads were
Speaker 2 speaking at the DNC. Now, what's interesting about these people is they
Speaker 2 kept our schools closed. They were the ones who fought to keep our schools closed.
Speaker 2 And Weingarten said that Trump was an existential threat to democracy.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 she said the Trump administration
Speaker 2 closed schools and
Speaker 2 I don't know if she remembers, but she said Trump was reckless, callous, and cruel and wanted to kill old people and teachers by reopening the schools. But
Speaker 2 that's not the thing anymore.
Speaker 2 Also on stage, so you know Randy Weingarten is an absolute socialist,
Speaker 2 an absolute tyrant,
Speaker 2 and we now have evidence of it because we've seen what they do. Joining Weingarten on the stage was the National Education Association president, Becky Pringle.
Speaker 2 Well, who could hate somebody named Becky, right? That sounds normal. Well, she said
Speaker 2 Harris will strengthen our schools, support our educators, and help our students live into their brilliance.
Speaker 2
I don't even know what that means, but Donald Trump and J.D. Vance are not just wrong.
they're dangerous. Now, dangerous to whom? Dangerous to whom? Perhaps to good old Becky and her plans.
Speaker 2 She delivered an absolutely unhinged speech
Speaker 2 last month, and she said the public education needed to be transformed, I'm quoting, into something that it never was designed to be. A radically,
Speaker 2 racially, and socially just and equitable system that prepares every student.
Speaker 2 You know, I don't think we need that. I think we need more math and reading, you know? I think that would probably be, you know, really, really good.
Speaker 2 So they're the Freedom Party
Speaker 2 and they're the party to make sure your kids are educated, but educated in what?
Speaker 2 The most important line that was said all last night, and it was said a few times with a few speakers, we will not go back.
Speaker 2 What do they mean by that? Well, the teachers' unions will not go back to a time when they can't talk to your kids about gender.
Speaker 2 They won't go back to a time where you can't have drag queen story hour.
Speaker 2
They will not go back. It's a new era in America.
It is the fundamental transformation of America, which has now been done.
Speaker 2 And they will not go back.
Speaker 2 I think we should just, you know, keep that in mind. Let me go to another Becky.
Speaker 2 She's in Kansas. Hello, Kansas.
Speaker 2 Hello, Becky.
Speaker 5 Hello.
Speaker 6 I listen to you every day, and I
Speaker 6
have to tell you what I was thinking. I watched last night with an open mind, and when she started railing against Trump, she is so divisive.
She's not a uniter.
Speaker 6 How can she say that she wants to do something good for America when she rails against Trump, she's railing against at least half the nation?
Speaker 6 How can she say she loves America when she spouts so much hatred? And I want to say something about that van that was sitting out front with the abortion, doing abortions and vasectomies.
Speaker 6
I wrote that this morning. And I feel like God gave me this.
Before you have an abortion or a vasectomy, think about this.
Speaker 6 The life that's been created is half you. Would you want to kill yourself or have someone kill you? What if it is your only chance to ever have a child?
Speaker 6 Someone who would grow up and achieve the things you didn't or couldn't and someone you could pass things on to?
Speaker 6 What if the life that is being ended is the child who would grow up and develop the cure for cancer? What if the life that is being ended is your grandchild? Would you say stop, don't do it?
Speaker 6
Just being able to bring a life into the world is a gift. That precious gift you created may even be your only chance to make your life count for something.
Don't pass it up.
Speaker 2 Thank you so much, Becky. I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 Where do we go next, Sarah?
Speaker 2 I've got such a small screen. Yeah.
Speaker 3
Go ahead. Yeah, they're working through them here, Glenn.
But
Speaker 3 the answer to her question, like, how can she say this, it's called lying.
Speaker 3 That's how she says it. She says she knows one thing is true and she says the opposite of it with
Speaker 3
a cold lack of conscience. That's what she does.
That's what you saw last night. It's what you saw the entire four days, Glen.
Speaker 2 She,
Speaker 2 yesterday,
Speaker 2 the head of the ADL
Speaker 2 was walking into the convention and said,
Speaker 2 I never
Speaker 2 thought I would see, after 50 years of fighting anti-Semitism in America. I could not have imagined a time where Jews would have to meet in a secret location in Chicago at the DNC.
Speaker 2 Foxman said he didn't see this coming.
Speaker 2
Well, I know you didn't. I know you didn't because I told you this was coming and you said that I was a Nazi sympathizer.
You said that I was spreading propaganda and fear.
Speaker 2 When I said 15 years ago, we're going to see the same kind of hatreds on our streets that we have seen back in the 1930s.
Speaker 2 When I told you that was going to come from the Democratic Party, I think you called me an anti-Semite.
Speaker 2 So who's your friend now, Abe?
Speaker 2 Who's your friend now? You surrounded yourself with people who despise Israel and really don't care for the Jews.
Speaker 2
He said, I know in my heart that in the future it will be better for Jews in America than it is today, but I fear it will never be the same. No, it won't be the same.
It won't be the same.
Speaker 2 You know why? Because we've let millions of people in from the Middle East that are trying to transform our country.
Speaker 2 But, you know, hey, don't worry about it.
Speaker 2 By the way, the uncommitted delegates, they camped outside the DNC, dozens of them. They would not vote for Kamala Harris at the convention roll call.
Speaker 2 And they kind of did a sit-in.
Speaker 2 And you'll never guess what they were for.
Speaker 2 Yeah, they wanted a Palestinian to speak and to speak on
Speaker 2 the main stage. And the DNC wouldn't give it to them because that would expose who they are.
Speaker 2 All of these people that they have empowered are working with the people that love Hamas and Hezbollah and hate Jews.
Speaker 2 I mean, I don't know how this is
Speaker 2 so hard to get. You know, they're doing vasectomies and they're passing out trans literature.
Speaker 2 Do you think the Gazans and Hezbollah and Iran will be for that?
Speaker 2 We got to wake our neighbors up. We got to make sure they're
Speaker 2
at the poll. Let me go to...
Let me go to Florida and Alberto. Hello,
Speaker 2 Alberto. How are you? How are you, going?
Speaker 5
Very good. Very good.
Thank you.
Speaker 5 Thank you for everything that you do. I will tell you that you need to read very carefully Romans chapter 1.
Speaker 5 And we are living, as Paul wrote back then to the Romans, but of course that letter is always, you know,
Speaker 5 it obviously can be related today. We are dealing with a group of people.
Speaker 5
that do not respond to debate and normal conversations. And it is because they have reprobate minds.
That is from the original Greek of the New Testament, reprobate minds.
Speaker 5 Your Bible version may not use the word reprobate, but that is really the original Greek word, which means that it's a non-functioning mind.
Speaker 5
You cannot get through to them unless the Lord Himself does divine intervention. It's just very clear.
This is basically evil having taken over individuals who can no longer see the light.
Speaker 2 I'm just reading, it's Romans 1, you said, right?
Speaker 5 Romans chapter 1, I would start around verse 18
Speaker 5 to the end of the chapter.
Speaker 5 And it talks about how it starts with homosexuality, and it goes into transsexuality, and then it goes into the reprobate mind, in which basically the mind no longer functions.
Speaker 5 Now, different Bible versions may not use reprobate, but that is, it basically means from the original Greek, it's a mind that no longer works, unless there is divine intervention from the Lord himself.
Speaker 2 Yeah, because of that, when they knew God, they glorified him, not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Speaker 2 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of an uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things.
Speaker 2 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanliness through the lusts of their own heart to dishonor their own bodies between themselves, who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.
Speaker 2 Amen.
Speaker 2 This is the cause God gave them up unto vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into which is against nature.
Speaker 2 And likewise also the man, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned their lust toward one another. Men with men
Speaker 2 working that which is unseemingly, unseeming, yeah, unseemingly, and receiving themselves that recompense of their error which was met.
Speaker 2 Well, you're right. This is it.
Speaker 2 They even did, as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to retrobate mine, to do these things which which are not convenient, being filled with all unrighteousness, fortification, wickedness, covetous, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, and whisper, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventor of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection.
Speaker 2 Unmerciful. Boy, you are,
Speaker 2
you're right. That is the time we're living in right now.
Thank you so much. Let me go to Roy in South Carolina.
Hello, Roy.
Speaker 5 Hey, Glenn, good morning. You know, she was spouting
Speaker 5 the things that basically the right is spouting, uniting America,
Speaker 5 stronger things, you know. And so what will happen is, like Rush Limbaugh used to say, the low-information voters.
Speaker 5 cannot see through that. And, you know, my biggest fear is that this is a shoe-in for her because of what she espouted.
Speaker 5 And so
Speaker 5 unless Trump can truly stay on task and on focus and be disciplined on the issues and not personalities, I don't think we have a chance to win this.
Speaker 2 Well,
Speaker 2 I'm not going to
Speaker 2
count him out or count her out. This is a fight and it's going to be a very, very close fight.
I think you're right. He does have to stay stay on message.
But, you know, if you look at
Speaker 2 what he has been saying recently,
Speaker 2
he's been very compassionate. He's been very clear on what he's for.
But you're right. She's saying she's for all the same things.
Speaker 2 So if you are a low information voter, you don't really pay attention at all. You think all of this stuff is true.
Speaker 2 Or if you're a high-information voter, but your information all comes from the left-wing media, it all comes from mainstream.
Speaker 2
If it's coming from the mainstream media, you're not hearing stories that you need to know about. They're keeping things from you.
So you can cheer when they say we're going into
Speaker 2 Ukraine and we're going to stand by them till the very end. And the cheers grow louder.
Speaker 2 Let's see.
Speaker 2 888-727-BECK. Did they burn the vasectomy van van, Stu?
Speaker 3
I don't know, Glenn. I'm very, very distraught.
It was such a wonderful place to,
Speaker 3 you know, to alter your body at the convention. And now,
Speaker 3 was the vasectomy van and the abortion hut the same? Was this the same vehicle?
Speaker 2 I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 I don't know if they were using the same rusty tools.
Speaker 2 But, you you know, because I like to get all my surgeries done in the back of a food truck. Yep.
Speaker 2 You know, I think that's really, I think that's really nice.
Speaker 3 Well, the best abortions come along with a grilled cheese.
Speaker 3 So I think
Speaker 3 right off the side of a truck. You can get dry.
Speaker 3 I think there's a little too much pessimism here. And let me...
Speaker 3
Let me call this out a little bit because I understand where the previous caller is. And I think there is something to be said for it.
If
Speaker 3 she's coming in with a new approach,
Speaker 3 Donald Trump had
Speaker 3
a war machine designed to defeat an enemy called Joe Biden, and he has to switch gears here. He has to find a completely different gear.
If he can't do that, he will lose. I think that is true.
Speaker 3 If he can't figure out a way to push her off of her spots and take her out of her comfort zones, he probably will lose. But this is his job.
Speaker 3
And honestly, with Trump being a somewhat unique candidate, in a way, it's the campaign's job. We all know what Donald Trump does.
He does some things really, really well, some things not so well.
Speaker 3 I think if you're depending on Donald Trump to be on message for 10 straight weeks, you're probably in some trouble.
Speaker 3 Donald Trump is going to have some days where he's excellent and stays on message, some days where he's off his message and he's going on other things. That's part of what you have with Donald Trump.
Speaker 3 Really high highs and really low lows at times. But the campaign does have to figure out a way to
Speaker 3
essentially shame the media into making these off-the-cuff moments happen. And it's not going to be easy, but it is as an opposing campaign, their job.
And they've got to figure it out.
Speaker 3
And I would assume they have a plan. I think it partially starts today with the RFK Jr.
speech. I mean, I think that's step one.
Speaker 2 I think that's a really big thing.
Speaker 3 I think it's in a race this close. I think it is.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 And especially all of the independents that are very, very left are calling out the Democratic Party and saying the people who say they love democracy, they're kicking us off the ballots everywhere.
Speaker 2 They're filing lawsuits to keep us out of the race. I mean,
Speaker 2 that's what dictators do.
Speaker 2 They arrest the people that they can't stop and they just make sure that you can't get on a ballot
Speaker 2 if you do run.
Speaker 2
It's remarkable. It's Iran.
It's Russia. It's the way it's always worked for dictatorships.
Speaker 3 The best of the Glenbeck program.
Speaker 2 Let me just give you a little bit of
Speaker 2 perspective here on what happened, especially last night.
Speaker 2 First of all,
Speaker 2 did you hear the rumors that like everybody, including George W. Bush, was going to show up and speak last night? Now, where do those rumors come from?
Speaker 2
Why was Taylor Swift rumored to be there? Why was Beyonce rumored to be there? George W. Bush rumored to be there? Well, because it drives eyeballs.
Where do you think those rumors came from?
Speaker 2
The people who wanted Americans to watch. Okay, so you were being manipulated again by these people yesterday.
But so who showed up this week? Well, the
Speaker 2 usual household names.
Speaker 2 It really is just the usual. Oprah Winfrey, Steph Curry, John Legend, Eva Longoria, the ever-lovable Mark Hamill,
Speaker 2
Octavia Spencer, Spike Lee, Carrie Washington, and Little John. Also, Mandy Patinkin was there.
Still looking for that six-fingered man.
Speaker 2 Rosario Dawson was there. Fat Joe, Cheryl Lee Ralph, Tony Goldwyn, Wendell Pierce, and Sean Austin, otherwise known as Samwise Gamgee.
Speaker 2 Now,
Speaker 2 did we have that many celebrities at the RNC? No.
Speaker 2 Is this really? I mean, you didn't expect Oprah Winfrey. You didn't expect Mark Hamill,
Speaker 2 John Lennon. We know who these people are.
Speaker 2 We know who they are, okay?
Speaker 2 Now, let's look at the RNC, the household names, Kid Rock,
Speaker 2 Russell Brand,
Speaker 2 new name, new name, Dana White,
Speaker 2 Hulk Hogan, Jason Aldean,
Speaker 2 and of course you had Lee Greenwood, who,
Speaker 2 and then Chris Jansen, a country music singer, and Savannah Christley, a reality TV star. Okay.
Speaker 2 So we had less celebrities.
Speaker 2
And the assumption is the culture makers are all on the left. And of course, Hollywood was all in for the Democratic Party.
But if that's the case,
Speaker 2 where was Taylor Swift? Where was Billie Eilish?
Speaker 2 Where was Beyonce?
Speaker 2
She was rumored to be there. Did you hear how she responded to that rumor? She didn't say, oh no, I would have loved to be there, but I couldn't.
She said, I was never going to be there.
Speaker 2 That seems a little hostile.
Speaker 2
Especially when you realize it costs Democrats nothing. Celebrities to join the Democrats, it costs them nothing.
It actually helps them in their world.
Speaker 2 And celebrities showing up to the Republicans, it costs them
Speaker 2 everything.
Speaker 2 Russell Brand has doubled down.
Speaker 2 So it's a miracle that the RNC had as many celebrities as it did.
Speaker 2 And it's also strange that the DNC didn't pull out more A-listers.
Speaker 2 So culturally, the DNC underperformed and the RNC overperformed in terms of expectations. So what does all of this mean?
Speaker 2 The DNC, the celebrities that were there, were mostly the establishment culture makers. The only one you were missing that you would expect is George Clooney.
Speaker 2 You know, they're all, they're the same people, okay?
Speaker 2 They have forever and relentlessly been DNC culture makers, okay.
Speaker 2 But I take Dana White over Mark Hamill every day of the week.
Speaker 2 It's tiny. It is tiny.
Speaker 2 But I feel the wind shifting.
Speaker 2
Something is happening. They've overplayed their hand for too long.
People, when you have RFK
Speaker 2 and his very, very, very,
Speaker 2 very
Speaker 2 liberal vice president saying,
Speaker 2 we're going over to Trump, and they get pounded for it on social media and they say, don't talk to me about that. These people are currently suing us to keep us
Speaker 2 out of the race. The people who care about democracy are suing suing us.
Speaker 2 You have the Green Party saying the same thing.
Speaker 2 Somebody I never, ever, ever, ever, ever thought I would want to interview or would want to come on the show to interview
Speaker 2 is RFK's running mate.
Speaker 2 I found out this morning
Speaker 2 She's been trying to get on the show for a couple of days.
Speaker 2
I said, absolutely put her on the show. I'd love to talk to her.
We don't have a lot in common, but do you see how it's breaking down?
Speaker 2 The
Speaker 2 thinking people,
Speaker 2 the thinking people are all starting to say, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know about Donald Trump, but I'm not buying into your bull crap anymore on who you are.
Speaker 2
Because at least he tells us who he is. You're not telling us who you are.
You're doing all of the the things that you're accusing him of doing you know he could this was last night
Speaker 2 he could weaponize the department of justice no
Speaker 2 well i can't imagine that happening in america he's not gonna do that you're doing that
Speaker 2 there's a change there is a change We just cannot give up hope. We cannot give in.
Speaker 2 Fight, fight, fight.
Speaker 2 Steve in Ohio, you're on the Glen Beck program.
Speaker 5 I'm calling about the Connelis talk on the children and parents' rights, not being able to be involved with their gender assignment.
Speaker 2 Uh-huh.
Speaker 5 Yeah, it drives me crazy.
Speaker 5 You know, I've raised two boys, and as teenagers, they didn't know what they wanted for breakfast half the time, much less make decisions that would affect their life for the rest of their lives.
Speaker 2 It just drives me crazy.
Speaker 2 Yeah, but remember, as she said last night, she is for the freedom for each individual to
Speaker 2 make decisions in their own life. Now, that doesn't include parents
Speaker 2 when, like you said, kids don't know, you know, a lot of kids, you're like, no, don't, no, no, you can't wear boots in a swimming suit, but yet they can decide
Speaker 2
their long-term future future of never being able to have children again. I got news for you.
When I was 16, I never wanted children. I didn't want children.
Speaker 2
I didn't want children when I was, you know, 20. And then I started having children and I love it.
And now that I'm 60, I wish I would have had more.
Speaker 2
You can't make a decision when you're 12 about having children. Thank you so much.
I appreciate it. And by the way, do you notice that they're running the same campaign that they did last time?
Speaker 2 A return to normalcy.
Speaker 2 That's what they said Joe Biden was.
Speaker 2 And then Joe Biden put a radical as his underticket. Okay.
Speaker 2 Now that radical is trying to tell you she's normal, and she puts somebody who's even more radical under her.
Speaker 2
This is the Overton window. Let me go to Al in Florida.
Hello, Al.
Speaker 5 Hello, Glenn. How are you?
Speaker 2 I'm great.
Speaker 5
Good, good. And I have to tell you, Glenn, just for a minute, I go to several people to decipher the news of the day and to give me context.
And you are at the very top of the list.
Speaker 5 So I really appreciate what you do and what you guys go through.
Speaker 2 Very kind.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 That's very kind.
Speaker 2 We do it prayerfully and we do it with you in mind. So thank you.
Speaker 5 And you do, my friend. You really do.
Speaker 5 Last night, I was concerned, not frightened, not shaken, but concerned because what I saw was an unintelligent, dishonest, disingenuous, completely misguided and unsympathetic, power-hungry communist manage a coach
Speaker 5 and even motivational teleprompter speech, given a similarly misguided audience.
Speaker 5 It was delivered impressively. The only thing that I have to say, Glenn, is vigilance because, because
Speaker 5 we have to remember the context. She's giving this speech in contrast to, forgive me, a demented fossil, someone who is just cognitively impaired.
Speaker 5 So we're used to Joe Biden, and then someone can string words together, and all of a sudden they're Winston Churchill.
Speaker 5
That's like, I mean, I did this from the beginning. I don't want to be self-serving, but I wrote, I'm a singer-songwriter.
I wrote the original song by Dynamics. It's out there.
It's all
Speaker 5
I wrote the song, and it's a country, two-step, and spawn. I'm not saying it to promote anything, so forgive me.
But this was years ago.
Speaker 5
I saw this coming, and it has everything in it from Iran to Carrie Lake. And it's just, you know, we know their lies, Glenn.
We know it. We see it.
We're informed.
Speaker 5 But, you know, snake all around and have a way of, you know, impressing upon the impressionable. And that's my concern, and that's my call, I think, for now.
Speaker 2
More than anything, thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
I have to tell you, I want to give credit where credit is due. They will never do this for us.
Speaker 2 But that was an impressive speech last night. It was written, I think, by Ronald Reagan.
Speaker 2 It wasn't written by a Democrat, surely. Or it was written, and they were like,
Speaker 2 let's put this in.
Speaker 2 But she delivered it very, very well.
Speaker 2 Okay, we know she can read.
Speaker 2 We know she can read and say those things out loud and sound like they're genuine.
Speaker 2 But she cannot do that when it's not written for her.
Speaker 2 And that will be Donald Trump's job and quite honestly, the press's job to get her to sit down for several interviews. She has multiple questions to ask, like, what are your policies?
Speaker 2 what are your policies their platform talks like seven times about in Joe Biden's second term you didn't even take time to change that it was incredible it was like I was reading John Roberts decision on Obamacare
Speaker 2 except they had time to change it he didn't
