Oh, oh, oh,
stay the straight
and hold the line.
It's a new day, a time to rain.
Welcome to the fusion
of entertainment
It's Stuin for Glenn here on the Glenn Beck program.
Jeff Fisher gonna be joining us as well today.
Lots going on.
We have, of course, the vice presidential pick that's been out of the past couple of days.
You have an assassination attempt on the president of the United States, the former president.
And I think because of all this going on, we've lost track of what's going on with the actual current president of the United States.
We'll get into that in about 60 seconds.
So, you know,
you know, look, it's one of these things we've got in our world where
pain is not just in politics.
Pain can actually be real in your life.
It feels like all the pain comes from politics these days, but no, it can come from your body as well.
And if you have an issue with pain, everyday pain, pain that bothers you all the time, you should definitely try Relief Factor.
It's a 100% drug-free daily supplement that helps your body fight pain naturally.
It's developed by doctors and Relief Factor uses a unique formula of natural ingredients that addresses the inflammation in your body, which is where the pain starts.
And it doesn't just mask your pain for a short time.
It helps reduce or even eliminate it all day, every day, wherever you're hurting, your back, your neck, your joints, your muscles.
In about three weeks or less, you'll see a difference and rediscover what it's like to feel better and live better.
So if everyday pain is affecting your life, don't go with the mind-over-matter approach.
Try Relief Factor instead, relieffactor.com or call 800 for relief.
Save on your first order.
It's 1-800, the number 4 relief.
Fight pain naturally with Relief Factor.
So the Republican National Convention is going on, and that is usually a big news cycle.
Everything that happens is you talk about the RNC.
It's one of the big two conventions.
It dominates the political news.
We also have a vice presidential pick that just happened.
And usually when that happens, it dominates the news cycle.
We're talking about it for a week or two.
It goes on and on and on.
Was this the right pick?
Was this the wrong pick?
Then you also have
the
former president of the United States who was almost assassinated this past weekend.
And when that happens, it's usually, I don't know, months of news.
And it's not just a one-day story.
We're talking about something that is talked about forever, right?
You know, you remember where you were when something like that happens.
And all that's going on with at the same exact time, the opposing party can't figure out who their nominee is going to be.
Well, he's figured it out.
He has figured it out, Jeffy.
Jeff Fisher joins me here on the Glen Head Brooks.
He has figured it out.
Yeah, Biden has figured it out.
Absolutely.
He has figured out that it's going to be him.
And he keeps saying this over and over and over again.
And everyone seems to ignore him.
And this is...
I hate to say this because we've all been through this situation with family members, but this is what happens when you hit this period of life.
When you hit the season of life where you're old enough that the people around you start
ignoring
your requests,
right?
They start
hearing what you're saying, but not acting upon what they've heard.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
If you think about
you have an older relative,
they hit a situation where
they may be infirmed and no longer can remember, make decisions that are appropriate.
And then one day they ask you if they can go on a drive in their car to pick up their medicine at the pharmacy.
And what is normally said is, oh, yeah, yeah,
absolutely.
In a little bit, we just need to, I need to do a couple things and then we'll go.
And then you just hope they forget.
That is what's happening with Joe Biden right now.
He is in a situation where his own party has started treating him like he's a dementia patient.
Like the things he's saying, he doesn't mean.
Well, his inner circle and himself have not let it go.
I mean, they have not let it go at all.
It's going to be me.
It's going to be Joe, and that's where we're at.
Yeah.
And it's funny because maybe the best example of this is Nancy Pelosi, who I might remind you is older than President Biden.
This is not like the 45-year-old son or daughter, grandson, granddaughter saying, oh, grandpapa, no, you can't go in the car anymore.
I'll bring you the ice cream.
No,
this is someone older than Biden who is saying, hey,
Maybe it didn't make that decision yet, Joe.
Almost trying to talk him out of the decision he's made so that they have this sort of recourse later.
And there was reporting yesterday
that
Joe Biden had a call
with a bunch of Democrats who were skeptical of his run.
And this is something that has happened over the past couple of weeks, right?
Sure.
He talked to all the governors.
He talked to all, you know, they all want to talk to him.
They all want to talk to him.
And say, hey, what are you doing?
And hoping that either they'll talk him into stepping out of the race or
they can get some sort of assurance that might make them feel feel okay about what's going on which I think basically at this point is impossible because there's too much evidence right they should have never nominated this guy in the first place I mean he said watch him we are yeah
okay gotcha Joe we are yeah oh we're watching have been but now they are and this is a side point I appreciate you bringing that up Jeffy because He keeps saying, look, I have a test every, a mental acuity test every day.
Just watch me.
Just watch me.
I'm dealing with these big things every single day.
And that's normally a good place to go, right?
Because, of course it's a high pressure job there's a lot going on for the president the issue with this specific thing is that before the debate he had a 36 approval rating it's not like the guy was hitting home run after home run before the debate now it's dropping even farther of course after the debate and god only knows what it is now we don't have any polling since uh
they tried to kill his opponent um but
i just can't even believe that this is this is what we're doing
but I mean, this is a guy who
keeps trying to push himself back to this idea that he had a good presidency so far.
He has not.
No.
This has been a catastrophe from day one.
Sadly, he's got a lot of days left.
Yeah, I know.
He does.
That's a scary part.
But think about where he was.
A guy with a 36% approval rating.
And what's happened is since the debate, The Democrats approached this a very specific way.
They basically said, we're not going to say you're terrible.
We We want you out, because that means we have to abandon all of our policies at the same time.
We can't say that the presidency was a failure.
Plus, Joe Biden, if we go after him that way, is going to dig in his heels and stay.
So what do we do?
We flatter him.
We say, you've been fantastic.
These three and a half years have been amazing.
50 years of service has been incredible.
You're going to be a living legend if you just step down.
And they went after the flattery route.
Well, Joe Biden has bought the flattery.
And his answer to, should I step down, is, what are you talking about?
You just said I was one of the best presidents of all time.
Everything is wonderful.
He now is saying he's achieved more in three and a half years than any other president ever.
Since at least FDR.
And I don't know how Barack feels about that.
I'd love to know.
Barack let this boy George Clooney
post the op-ed of Joe being terrible.
That went through Barack.
Yeah, it went through Barack.
George Clooney just didn't drop that.
No, that's very true.
I mean,
it's an interesting back and forth here.
So now you have a situation where
Biden
has had these extra days where people won't talk about this because, of course, what happened with Donald Trump.
And Biden is trying to dig his heels in and his claws and hold on to power every single way he can.
He had this call with, I think it was something like 50 Democrats,
big call.
And there's been this progression with Biden over this period where Biden started out saying, Look, I don't agree, but I want to, you know, I want to
calm the waters a little bit.
Have these people, I'll talk to them.
I'll say, I understand your concern.
Let me show you what I'm going to do.
I'm going to go out and I'm going to do this interview.
I'm going to do this press conference.
I'm going to do all the things you've been demanding that I do, and I'm going to show you how incredible that can be.
Yeah, you got it.
No problem.
He's an old guy.
He's lost patience with this process.
He's come to the point now where
I'm done.
How many times do I have to say this?
Right.
I'm the president of the United States.
I won the nomination.
I don't have to answer to you guys anymore.
So they popped him on a call with a bunch of where he.
Went well.
It did not go well today.
Oh, no, no.
You're going to be surprised to hear that it did not go very well because he is angry at this point.
I mean, he's having a real struggle with anger issues issues anyway.
I mean, his interview with Lester Holt, which I, you know,
that was angry.
His speech at the NAACP was angry.
And what little bit he didn't mumble and stumble and bumble through that.
He was, you know, yelling and screaming.
I mean, that's where he's at.
Yeah.
Unify.
That's you.
When you see that, I think
unity.
But this is what happens, right?
You're an old person.
You're in the throes of, God knows, some terrible ailment that is not going to reverse.
You get angry.
I've had relatives who went through a dementia situation, and I remember one in particular.
Look,
he just turned into a jerk.
I mean,
it was sad.
We all understood why it was happening, but it wasn't.
It didn't make it any better.
He wasn't chill at all.
It didn't make it any better.
Right.
He was like insulting.
And, you know, he would insult his wife.
This is, you know, a few generations.
This was a relative of mine.
But, you know, this is, it was multiple generations older than I was.
And he was, you know, in the last days of life, this is what I was like, I maybe in high school.
And I remember him just being a jerk.
Like his wife would come in and he'd just insult her.
His son would come in.
He'd just blow him off and be a total jerk to him.
It was like, it wasn't he would forget everything.
His attitude totally changed.
And I don't know.
I don't think it's important to understand that Joe Biden has been a jerk his entire life.
This is not a guy.
They always bring him out.
Oh, he loves to shake everybody's hands.
He's been a jerk his entire life.
He's been lying his entire life.
He's derailed multiple times the country to a bad direction.
This is not someone who's had a 50-year service of
a wonderful public record.
He's been a jerk and he's hurt the country.
I feel bad for him going through this, but let's be clear who this man is.
So he gets on this come
yesterday.
Or actually, this is a few days ago now.
But the reporting came out yesterday.
Okay.
And his staff is noticing that he's no longer even attempting to win these people over.
He's just become a jerk to them, right?
He's now just
obstinate.
So this is pre-Lester, right?
No, this is, yes, this is pre-Lester and pre-shoot.
We should point out pre-assassination attempt.
Okay.
So this is a massive detail here.
So he's going through this call and it's not going well at all.
And his staff comes over to him and says,
Hey,
you know, this is what you do, right?
We've done this with Glenn a hundred times.
Dude, like, what are you doing?
You slip a note.
You kind of try to redirect the conversation.
Yeah, come on.
So they slip him a note and it says, stay positive.
You're sounding defensive.
Right?
Okay.
Stay positive.
This happens behind the scenes.
Unity.
Unity, Joe.
We're here.
The problem is.
It was a note that Biden's aides handed to him during a call with members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which the president immediately read out loud on the call.
So, can you pick it up?
It's amazing, first of all, that he could read it because he has a real problem with the translation of reading what's on the teleprompter that comes into his brain and then what he says.
Oh, and we're going to get to that
in a moment.
So, then obviously he could read it.
Whoa.
Stay positive.
So, he's in the middle of this call, and he's like, all right, look, you got to make sure I'm staying in this race.
That's all.
Stay positive.
You're sounding defensive.
And everyone's like, wait a minute.
what?
So, he actually blurts that out.
Their excuse, as they always have, is some retroactive excuse.
They said, Two people familiar with the call said Biden intentionally read the note out loud for a moment of levity.
Right, okay, I did it on purpose.
Not real at all.
So, let me tell you how bad this call went.
That's awesome.
This call went so badly that after the call ended,
there were notes and circuits, you know, emails being passed around.
They expected 50,
50 Democrats to come out in the next few hours and say Joe Biden was supposed to step down and needed to step down.
50.
Wow.
Now we're at like, I don't know, 14, 15.
Yeah, this is the one.
We're going to the teens.
Something like that, but that's still a pretty low number.
50 were supposed to come out and say, hey, it's time for Joe Biden to step down.
One hour later, a bullet hit Donald Trump's ear.
Assassin attempts an hour after that call.
So this is how close he was to potentially losing this nomination.
Now, he doesn't have to step down because 50 Democrats say he should.
In fact, if I were him, I'd say, screw you guys up.
Absolutely.
He's already in.
I don't care.
You can all say that.
I'm president.
And I got Jill here.
I got Hunter here.
Yep, we're in.
That's all we need.
And I will say, this is a very Jeffy approach when it comes to this.
You're dirty, right?
Like, you just stay in.
I'm staying in.
I'm in.
If you're Bob Menendez today, you're staying in.
Absolutely.
He got robbed.
That was his wife.
Anyway, so you just go with it, right?
You stay in it.
But the assassination attempt happens.
This, of course, buys him time.
I do expect one more wave of this to try to get him out of this race before the actual nomination process, which they're trying to go ahead with early, which is fascinating.
I mean, that's what, you know, Lester even asked him, right?
He got angry with Lester about what happens if you have another episode.
I don't plan to have another episode.
We should play that.
That wasn't the question, sir.
We should play that.
Because that whole interview isn't crazy.
I know Jeffy has this weird fan club interest in Lester Holt and has for many years.
I do like Lester.
It is one of the strangest things about you in the world.
I was a bit of a job a while ago, and I was for him.
That's true.
You were very, very for him.
I will say that because of all the stuff we discussed at the beginning of the show, the BP pick, the RNC, the assassination,
people totally forgot that.
To the extent that I will admit, I didn't even watch it live.
We had talked about doing a YouTube live after the Lester Holt interview because it was such a big deal.
And I didn't even watch the thing live.
I didn't even get to it.
There was too much other stuff going on.
Yesterday, I decided to sit down and watch the interview beginning to end.
And only...
The media cycle of all of these other stories has saved Joe Biden.
This was one of the worst interviews I've ever watched in my entire life.
The go.
Yeah.
It is almost on the level of the debate.
All right, let's get to that here in a second.
Triple H727BECK.
It's a stew with Jeffy in for Glenn Bechte.
He's sick, by the way.
Hopefully he'll be back tomorrow.
Let me tell you about the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
There are far too many veterans who are out there and who've served our country honorably.
but who are now homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
That's unacceptable.
Glenda Williams, a U.S.
Army veteran who faced homelessness along with her five children, was struggling to keep up with her rent and basic living expenses.
She and her children lived in a run-down apartment unit with rodents, mold, broken windows, and broken electrical appliances.
How does this stuff happen?
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation's Homeless Veteran Program provided Glenda and her children not only a shelter, but also a safe and secure environment in which to thrive.
Glenda has since returned to school to pursue a degree, and her children are excelling in their studies.
Imagine what it means to a veteran like her know that people like you and I are out there and care about them, our heroes, and their families need help.
And Tunnel to Towers is stepping up every single day.
It's a great organization.
For Glenda's family and so many others like them,
it's really up to us to make the difference.
Donate $11 a month to Tunnel to Towers at t2t.org.
It's t2t.org.
T, the number 2t.org.
It's tunnels to towers, t2t.org.
10 seconds, station ID.
Okay, so we have the setup here for this Lester Holt interview.
I'm going to do a bunch of this on Studos America tonight because we can't miss it.
I'm now at the point where I'm several layers behind the news, and I'm not going to let all this stuff go.
I refuse to let things like this Lester Holt interview go.
I'm not going to do it because it's really, really important.
And I care if it's a day or two behind when the interview happened.
The clips I've seen online do not do that interview justice.
No, they do not.
No, they do not.
And I will say, maybe worse than the Lester Holt interview was the speech Joe Biden gave at the NAACP yesterday.
And it got buried.
The man is incoherent and he is totally out of it.
And he doesn't even know the details.
of his own policies at this point.
Well, yeah.
So let's get into this here in a second.
But he can't see.
He can't see.
He can't process
what's on the screen into his brain.
So even if I give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows his own policy, barely, he's just supposed to read what's on the teleprompter.
And he can't.
He can't wait.
That is so true.
He can't do it.
What they tried to do was shelter him so that no one, the old basement campaign idea, have him pop on and do a bunch of things off the teleprompter.
We can get through it.
Right.
An understandable request if you happen to be
a demon who is running his campaign and trying to get this dementia riddled person to be president for a little bit longer.
So if you're that person, understandable approach.
He can read the thing.
We'll be fine.
He can't read it anymore.
He can't do it.
He can't process it.
Nope.
He doesn't even understand when he's making mistakes.
No.
And this all sounds like, oh, well,
oh, gosh, can you believe this guy?
Our country, our lives are at stake here.
There is a situation.
Russia had a big threat again today about how they might just start a war with us if we do something that's wrong
by their eyes.
And the people managing this are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Now, that was a terrible, terrible idea two years ago.
What it is now is a recipe for all of our children to explode.
That is what it is.
That is how serious this is.
And I'm not like overstating this.
The next five, six months, whatever it is to January 20th,
we are in serious danger.
Yeah, but the good thing is, and I mean this in all seriousness, the good thing is, is that they see Trump coming too.
And so you don't want to step on that.
I mean,
I'm hoping and praying that's the case.
I think that's true.
I do think you're seeing a little bit of people saying, okay, this is just around the horizon.
If we hold back, I think number one, maybe things will calm down.
Yes.
Which is crazy to say with Donald Trump as your president, but it's true.
And number two, we don't want to piss that guy off.
He looks like he might do something about it.
So we'll get into that.
888727BECK is the phone number.
It is stew with Jeff Fisher.

That car is gone to live on a farm.
It's sad.
It's going to be fine.
It's just on a farm.
It'll get to run and play with the animals and drive around.
Wow, that's nice.
And it'll be happy.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
It's 888-727-BECK.
I'd love to get some of your calls today.
How are you feeling right now?
How are you feeling after watching the president you likely wanted to be the next president almost be assassinated?
You know, where were you?
What was going on?
What do you feel for the future?
I get the sense that most people at this point feel like this is going to be a landslide.
Like
Biden was already bad.
He's showing that he's falling apart.
There's turmoil on the Democratic side.
J.D.
Vance, I think most people on the right like the guy.
He's young.
He's energetic.
He's got a great family.
Great story.
Great story.
And then in addition to that, you have the fact that people are literally shooting at Donald Trump.
And not only does he get shot, he then steps up with blood on his face, raises his fist, says fight.
I mean, it all feels.
We're three and a half months away from a landslide.
But I'd love to know what you're thinking, how you're feeling about this.
888 727BECK is the number one.
That is pretty incredible that
him having the presence of mind
to stop and raise his hand to the audience to let them know he's okay, say fight, say I'm not dead.
It was pretty amazing.
Now, I will say, it's annoying.
Doesn't really happen?
No.
No, no.
Now, it's annoying that I work with Glenn Beck every day and for a multitude of reasons that many that you're aware of, of course, Jeffy.
But I will say my initial reaction to that was, it's the most badass thing I've ever seen.
Like the most badass thing in the history of politics.
That was definitely my reaction.
Now, of course, I will have to admit that the first thing I do is get on with Glenn.
He's like, I've got the speech where Teddy Roosevelt got shot.
It blocked the bullet and he finished the speech.
All right, Glenn.
Okay.
I got it.
You weren't there for that either.
And he holds it up in his hand.
Oh, and here's his eyeglass case.
All right.
Okay.
You have to understand how frustrating it is to live with the guy.
I feel like I live with him.
But work with a guy like Glenn for all these years.
But
it was
one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my entire life.
And the fact that he just stood up and did that,
the presence of mind.
A lot of it.
There's two things going on there.
And we'll get into this a little bit more.
Jason Buttrell, he's a security expert.
He's going to be on here with us in a couple of seconds to break down the security failures.
But like,
it's not, there's two things going on.
Number one, Donald Trump is a master at stagecraft, right?
I think there's part of his mind that goes to,
he could almost, he's almost watching everything that happens to him on television.
He knows what it looks like.
He knows what it feels like.
He, he knows the, you know, he wants to inspire that crowd.
He sees the, the arc, the narrative arc of the campaign.
And he does all that processing instantly.
It's like nobody I've ever seen before.
The other part about it is
the guy loves the country.
He loves the people who are out there.
He knows these people just saw their president almost get killed on stage, and he wants to reassure them that I'm not going down like that.
No way.
I'm not dead.
I'm here.
What did he call it with RFK Jr.?
Like the world's largest mosquito.
So we'll get into that a little bit more here in the next hour.
I want to get into the Biden thing yesterday because he's sliding below all of our radars right now.
People aren't paying attention for understandable reasons.
But let me give you this, and we're going to go into this in more depth on Studos America
tonight.
Make sure to follow the podcast.
Go to youtube.com slash studosamerica.
I'll point out to you that not only do we post all of our normal shows there, but we've been doing a lot of YouTube lives where we go live.
We did one, I mean, it must have been 10 minutes after the shooting occurred.
We were there trying to give some perspective.
We've been doing this after the big speeches, the big interviews.

So the whole show tonight, or at least a good chunk of it, is going to be on this Lester Holt interview because there's 10 clips from this interview that you need to know about.
Seriously.
And need to understand that no one is posting online.
Like there's just, this did not get a lot of attention.
Let me give you one of the clips here.
You may have heard this one.
This is Lester Holt talking to Joe Biden about the fact that he seems to be going through a lot of episodes in front of the nation.
You know, what happens if there's another one?
Here's Lester Holt with Joe Biden.
What happens if you have another episode like we saw during the debate?
What happens?
What happens if you have another performance
on that level?
I don't plan on having another performance on that level.
I don't plan on having another part like that.
Now, I don't know how many English words were in his responses there.
There are very few of them.
Yes.
That's how he speaks now.
What happens if
level?
That's how he speaks of it.
That's the best of ending a sentence in a train of thought that he gets.
Yeah, because on that one, you could almost tell what he was saying, right?
I think he said, I don't plan on having another appearance at that level or another episode at that level.
Well, of course you didn't plan on it.
You also didn't plan on it at the debate.
And that wasn't, yeah, right.
That wasn't the question, sir.
What happens if?
Right.
Well, it's been interesting to watch this because the media who has protected this man
since the beginning, everybody knew he was going through this four years ago, but they protected him throughout the campaign.
They protected him through the COVID basement campaign.
They protected him.
They didn't ask for more press conferences.
And I will, I know a lot of mainstream media and people listen to the show.
I will note there were some exceptions.
They were few and far between.
There were some exceptions.
People who actually did call this out.
I mean, David Axelrod,
who is an Obama official, right, was out there saying these types of things.
You know, people like Nate Silver certainly were.
There was Derek Thompson at the Atlantic was saying these types of things.
There were people who were doing it, but it was few and far between.
And as we went through this and watched it all unfold, it was stuff that we all understood.
Conservatives all understood.
Every conservative I know expected that exact debate performance that night.
It was not surprising to us at all.
It was surprising to a lot of Democratic voters who watch MSNBC, who are constantly told, no, these are cheap fakes.
These aren't even real.
Well, it was just a week, right, before the debate when we were told that him being
handled and walked off stage by Barack was a cheap fake.
Right.
A week before they were using this.
Karen Jean-Pierre out there blabbing on about how about and her job.
I'm not going to go down this rabbit hole.
It's a cheap fake.
It's a cheap cheap fake, right?
Now, I have actually seen cheap fakes made of Donald Trump since the shooting.
You go online and the left-wing conspiracy theories on this thing are freaking adorable.
They're great.
They are.
They have come up with the craziest crap to believe.
And it's a lot of high-profile people on the left who are like, oh, well, actually, it was glass.
It wasn't a bullet.
And actually, that bandage is fake.
He has no damage damage to his ear.
I think it was a catch-up packet.
I mean, they're at the point at this.
They are to the extremes.
And Corinne Jean-Pierre is still out there blabbing out of me.
I mean, I love her.
I love her.
You love Corinne John Pierre.
Because, you know why?
Why?
Because we all know she's terrible.
Yeah.
She comes with her great big book of everything every day, and she barely knows how to read what's on those pages if she can find the right page to answer the question.
It's so good.
They tried to get rid of her.
They tried to bring John Kirby.
They brought Kirby in, gave him a new title.
Anita Dunn
had him do some more press conference, tried to run her off.
Anita Dunn came in behind the scenes, tried to push her out.
And she was like,
I am the DEI hire.
I check almost every box, if not every box.
Every box.
Fire me.
Show them how you love diversity in this White House.
I dare you.
That's where she's at.
That's true.
That's where she's at.
She's not going.
If you talk about somebody dug in, there's no way she goes in.
Well, where does she go after this?
I mean, I think best case scenario is Applebee's.
I don't know that there's another.
There's not another job for Corinne Jean-Pierre out there, right?
After this?
What particular Applebee's?
Because I'd like to go to another one.
Exactly.
Would you try?
If she's bringing you an awesome blossom of chilies, are you excited about that?
I don't know what the hell she's done with it.
I wouldn't want her anywhere near my food,
let alone the White House.
Yeah.
Yeah, you don't have to come back.
I've got a cart.
So
it's so true with her.
By the way, we have a great set.
Jeffy, you're in the segment.
The investigative reporting we did on Corinne Jean-Pierre and how she's never actually worn the same outfit twice.
This is a real thing.
It is a real thing.
We have a real thing.
We did a comedy version of this investigation.
It's available at youtube.com/slash judasamerica as well, where we go through that and show
150 different outfits in quick succession.
She has never worn the same outfit twice.
Jeffy in this
segment plays a conspiracy theorist who believed it's happened one time.
And it may have happened sort of one time.
I'll give you that.
So we're getting off track here, but I will say the Corinne Jean-Pierre thing has been fascinating because she's loyal.
Jill seems to be loyal.
Oh, Hunter seems to be loyal.
Jill's been pretty quiet this last week or so.
They haven't heard much.
And Hunter, too, maybe there's been hold up at the White House.
I'm not sure what's happening there.
They've dug in, though, I think.
And like, Hunter is the ultimate example of this, right?
If you're Hunter Biden, you can't go down.
Your dad can't.
No way, Dad.
You got this.
You got it.
You got this, Dad.
Is there any benefit to Hunter Biden with his dad having pardon power?
Like, my guess is yes, right?
Like, it's, is there any benefit to Hunter Biden that his dad is running the DOJ?
I'd say, yeah.
You're going to say stay there no matter what if you're Hunter Biden.
Don't listen to them.
But like, that is an example from Monday, the one we played from last year.
That whole interview, and I know you're covering it all on Stu Does America, but that whole interview was combative from our president from the very beginning.
I don't know, to be honest, I would have liked Lester to just say, all right, we're done.
It was really weird.
We're out of here.
I've been on your side, sir.
To the point of he's accusing Lester Holt of ignoring Trump's lies.
I mean, can you imagine?
It's probably the most delusional thing the president has done.
Can you imagine accusing NBC News of ignoring Trump's lies?
It's all he comes out.
And Lester's like, we've talked about
all of that.
Yeah, Lester's very clear.
We have covered it.
And they get into a little back and forth.
So I'll get into that tonight on Studios America.
Let me give you this clip, though, from yesterday.
This is at the NAACP
gathering.
He's great here.
And I want you to listen to what happens here because it is one of the most fascinating things.
The man is struggling so badly, not just to comprehend, but also to just read and see.
And it's important to understand that this is one of his central policies he is discussing, one of his brand new initiatives to try to win at the ballot box, or he would say the battle box, which is another mistake he made recently, multiple times.
Speech at the oval.
Yes.
It's terrible.
The battle box.
And that one is fascinating as well because the battle box, B-A-T-T-L-E, is what it sounded like.
They corrected it on the official White House transcript from Battle Box to Battle Box, B-A-T-T-O-L, which is not a word.
They actually corrected the president of the United States because he was trying to say battle box.
Sometimes they just delete it and put in the right thing.
The right thing.
Or they cross it out.
But they knew he didn't say that.
They couldn't go that far because he actually said battle.
Right.
So instead, they didn't want him to say battle because he was trying to lower the temperature.
So they made up a fake word they claimed the president said.
Okay.
B-A-T-T-O-L.
It is on the official White House transcript of that speech.
Okay, so here is another speech.
Biden talking to the NAACP about his new rent control policy, which I might remind you would be an absolute catastrophe if it's actually put into place.
Some would say that it's illegal.
And it would be illegal and unconstitutional.
It's so terrible.
But here he is talking about that new policy.
The idea.
The idea.
The idea.
That corporate-owned housing is able to raise your rent $300, $400 a month or something.
Something.
That's what I'm about to announce.
Leaning in.
You can't raise it more than
$55.
Yeah, you can't see it.
They're going crazy, right?
The crowd goes crazy.
$55?
So your rent can now no longer go up more than $55.
This is an incredible policy.
Yay!
Now, that policy, if it were implemented, would be an economic catastrophe.
But what really happened there is he's looking at the prompter and the prompter says 5%.
That is his actual policy.
It will not go up more than 5%.
He can't see it.
Can't see it.
Can't process the numbers from the screen to his brain.
He literally guesses while he's announcing a new policy, guesses as to what that policy is because he has
no idea what his own policy is.
He sees a five at a percentage sign.
He can't read it.
So he thinks it's two fives.
And does that?
And it says $55.
Now, if he was familiar with his own policies, he would easily be able to say, oh, this is the 5% thing.
But he doesn't even know his own policies.
Who the hell is the president of the United States right now?
It's not this guy.
He doesn't even know what he's talking about.
Oh, my gosh.
We are in serious trouble.
888-727
CK is the phone number.
Holy crap.
We are, we got, we're in for a big one today.
This show is, we've got too much to talk about, too much to get to.
Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile before we do.
Wouldn't it be great if we had to deal with
maybe not a stalled economy, maybe not a president who doesn't know his own policies, maybe not endless wars and the relentless assault by our government and our media on American values?
If we had that world, wouldn't it be nice?
Well, you know,
it's not.
We don't live in that world.
We can't change it all back overnight, but we can take steps in a positive direction, one that will lead us to where, you know, we want to be.
So think about switching your phone service to Patriot Mobile.
Right now, you're going to get a whole month for free.
That is a great way to start your new service.
Of course, you're going to save some cash.
They're America's only Christian conservative mobile company.
And their mission is, this is an actual quote, to passionately defend our God-given constitutional rights and freedoms and glorify God always.
And I read that mission statement to you because I think about all the times these companies come out like Disney or Bud Light and we complain about them.
There are companies out here like Patriot Mobile too who are doing something totally different.
They're giving you the dependable nationwide coverage.
They're giving you the access that you need.
They're giving you all the affordable, excellent plans that you need.
But their 100% U.S.-based customer service team is there to help you switch to a company that isn't going to give your money to Planned Parenthood.
Go to patriotmobile.com, patriotmobile.com/slash back, or call 972-Patriot.
You'll get a free month of service today.
It's patriotmobile.com/slash back, patriotmobile.com/slash back, or call them 972-PATRIOT.
You're listening to the swinging sounds of Glenn Beck.
Sit tight, boys and girls.
We'll be right back after these messages.
So we were talking about this a while ago, that
Graceland
had their home title stolen.
Graceland, the Elvis Presley's family.
I thought you might be mad at that.
Dare they, Jeffy.
Do you believe that?
No.
They went after Elvis's stuff.
You can't do that.
Disgusting.
And they actually had it to the point that the Presley family had to go to court to reclaim Graceland as if we didn't know that they owned it, right?
Is that that big of a question?
So, did you know that a scammer can forge your signature on a fake transfer document just like that?
You can be affected just like Graceland was.
They can take out loans against your equity and collateral.
They can disappear, leaving you with a financial and legal nightmare.
Well, a new report shows that homeowners are setting on like $16 trillion in available equity.
This is where all of our money is, right?
Like this is where it is.
And so this is where thieves go.
Just like if all your money's in a bank, they go to the bank, try to rob the bank, your home's in your equity.
They come to rob that equity and they can do that without even disturbing you.
They're not going to set off any alarms.
You need to protect your equity from this with triple lock protection from Home Title Lock, where they watch your title 24-7 and alert you if there's any change.
You've also got U.S.-based experts to take action if something, God forbid, does happen to you.

It's Stu with Jeff Fisher for Glenn Beck here on the Glen Beck program.
It's been overwhelming for people, and I think it's been overwhelmed.
The news has overwhelmed all of us over the past few days.
I want to know where you are.
How do you feel?
How are you processing all of this?
Where do you think we are as a country?
888-727-BECK is the phone number.
We got a bunch of calls lined up.
I'd love for you to get into line as well.
And don't forget to subscribe to Jeffy's podcast, Chewin' Fat,
with Jeff Fisher, as well as Stu Does America.
It's available on YouTube and wherever you get your podcast.
Glenn is sick.
He will be back tomorrow.
Coming up in a few moments, we're going to be talking to a security expert.
Explain to us exactly how this stuff could have possibly happened in Pennsylvania.
Back with that in a second.
The Glenn Beck program.
I'm going to tell you about Lear Capital.
You've worked your whole life to build everything that you've had
so far, and you've saved what you've needed to save.
You've cut costs when you needed to cut costs.
You've probably made a mistake or two here or there.
Not me.
My financial record's perfect, but you're always there to work hard and correct it.
And now, because of someone responsible like yourself, and because of, you know, you are in a situation where you might be okay, but we have an irresponsible government.
And now the value of everything you've built over time is rapidly shrinking.
If you don't see the need to shore up your hard-earned money with something that will act as a firewall against economic disaster, you're not looking very hard.
Precious metals, and particularly gold, have always been a safety net in times of looming economic trouble.
Glenn bought his first gold from Lear Capital like two decades ago.
And since then, he's been going up.
It's been going up and up and up and up and up you've seen the charts uh check it out do your own homework with over three billion dollars in trusted transactions thousands of five-star reviews lear is there for you this is lear capital go check it out now uh 800-957 gold 800-957 gold

Glenn is out sick today.
It is Stu Brigueer filling in, along with Jeff Fisher, who joins us, and in a moment, Jason Buttrell, who is a security expert.
He was in the military.
he has some stupid resume that I don't really want to go through but he knows what's going on and I will tell you can explain a little bit about how on God's earth the incident in Pennsylvania happened with Donald Trump not only that we're getting lots of new footage there's lots of I mean there's theories everywhere there's so much to cover we're going to get to that here in just a second triple 8727 BECK we're going to take your phone calls as well but first going to tell you about simply safe emergency

And if you're not protecting your home, you know that those emergencies can turn ugly.
Well, what do you do when you need to protect your home?
There are lots of things with the paperwork you need to do.
There's lots of things with insurance you need to do, but you need to make sure that your home is physically protected as well.
When you get on board with Simply Safe, you're helping to ensure your family and property are the last things any criminal wants to mess with.
They offer advanced home security and 24-7 monitoring plans for less than a buck a day.
Buck a day.

All right, it's Stu with Jeff Fisher along with Jason Buttrell, who joins us now.
And Jason, and give people a quick rundown of your background when it comes to the security.
Do we have the time?
No, for your entire resume.
No,
you can give me a short version of it, all right?
The condensed version.
Well, I spent spent four years in the military, military intelligence, deployed to Afghanistan.
But right afterwards, there's not a whole lot of jobs for people that can operate machine guns and stuff.
So I did.
Oh, really?
On a resume?
I was like, I wanted to be an accountant, but that just did not look good on the resume.
You'd be a pretty good accountant because people would walk in and be like, can I do this?
And you'd be like, pull out the machine gun.
And they'd, you know,
no.
The answer is no.
But afterwards, when I got out, I did executive protection for actually the same firm that RFK used for his when he was denied secret service.
I did that for about 15 years.
Kevin De Becker.
Yep.
And you were protecting Glenn for a time?
Protecting Glenn for a time, protected pretty much almost every single Hollywood person that you've ever heard about or you've seen on TV
at some point.
And I mentioned to you that we were going to talk about the Trump event, but actually we weren't going to have you just reveal secrets about celebrities.
So go ahead.
I wish I could.
There's probably a lot of good stories.
I will not.
And it really pisses me off when I see other
security people like blab, right?
Tell all books.
You can't do that.
You can't do that.
I mean, you're just ruining it for the entire profession.
They're never going to be trusted.
So it just, it really annoys me.
But anyway, I was at the planning stages for multiple events where the Secret Service was there.
So I've seen the advance process.
I've seen the execution, you know, process.
I know how it's supposed to go.
And let's just say there's a lot of questions.
There is
for this event.
So let me start with question number one.
I think the biggest question for me.
as a layman watching this unfold.
And this was not something that took me a month to put together here.
It was instant.
When they showed where the shooter came from, my instant question was, why
the hell was there not an officer of some sort on that roof?
It's the most obvious place.
If anyone's ever played Call of Duty, if you ever played some video game, you would have picked that spot as a sniper position.
It's the only elevated position really in the area, and it was completely left unprotected.
How did that happen?
Yeah, well, The initial answer is I don't know.
If you look at a schematic or overhead aerial imagery of the area, that's the main spot.
So, if you're like going, if you're on the advance, which the Secret Service does, they show up weeks in advance and they show up and they figure out everything as far as like a three-tiered security system, where we're going to allow our most trusted people.
The next tier is like, you know, maybe like donors, next tier, on and on and on.
And then after that, they're like, okay, well, let's designate, you know, firing positions.
Where could a sniper fire at us?
I've seen the Secret Service director and a few other people talk about, well, it wasn't on our scope perimeter.
Bull crap.
The perimeter is not some arbitrary area.
The perimeter is how far in depth is the threat.
That becomes your perimeter.
So if 1,000 to 2,000 yards out, or let's say miles, let's say, I don't know,
Glenn had a sniper on, the Canadian sniper shot like, what, three miles out?
Yeah.
If there is a danger three miles out,
three miles is your perimeter.
That's what's your perimeter.
So that is spoken from an agency that is trying to cover their butts.
That's what it is.
Yeah, because, I mean, the idea is, if you think about it, you go into a concert, right?
You have a situation where where every, you know, you have certain areas.
There's like a VIP section where you can get super close to the stage.
And then there's the place, you know, maybe there, you know, the place where Jeffy would go, which would be like way out in the back somewhere, like, didn't buy a ticket, like looking over the fence, trying to get a free show.
I got to see it.
But like, just because that's not where ticket holders are, security people still have to say, well, the threat could still come from there.
In fact, it's far more likely to come from there because these people didn't have to go through security.
That building, you could have just walked, anybody could have just walked up to that area.
In fact, you see a bunch of people who are walking around there that are just Trump fans.
And they are the ones that identify the shooter on the roof.
They see it.
They're there to listen.
They didn't get into the event.
We just wanted to hear them.
Right.
And so they're just standing in the field next to the event.
Any one of them could have taken a shot at the president of the United States or the former president of the United States, probably future president of the United States, Donald Trump.
So how could they not have
noticed this?
Like, is this something that, I mean, to me, it looks obvious.
Should it have been obvious to them?
Gautious.
I identified, I think, three questions that, I mean, there's tons of questions.
There's tons of them.
There's three main ones that I just want to know now.
The very first one was, did Secret Service operate as per their standard protocols?
Did they set up a typical three-tiered system
to safeguard the president in close range?
The second one
was, did they designate properly all these different firing positions?
What's I assumed they did?
And did they properly secure all the entrances and exits and stuff into the
into the venue, yes.
But they also,
my impression was, is that, and this is what I was, my impression was, is that they
designated, you know, like you have the main circle that's us.
And then there's police, yeah.
And then there's another
circle that has, I don't know, the Sheriff's Department.
Yeah.
And there's another circle that has local police.
So that is common.
And it's not just like local police being like, ah, I'll let you guys figure it out.
They're just executing a plan that's been designed by the Secret Service Service.
Exactly.
And they're supposed to have comms for that, right?
I thought that's what we thought we fought against because of 9-11.
People couldn't communicate with each other, right?
So I forget what they call it.
Sure.
There should be communications between the local law enforcement and the Secret Service.
But it's not like every single cop has a direct line to every single Secret Service agent.
Sure.
There's like...
But there should be.
a supervisor, law enforcement officer that can speak to a supervisor level in the secret service that's there.
So like you can imagine, and that's another thing that I was struggling with, how long it took them for communications to go up the chain.
Right.
That would take a little bit.
Some of the footage that has come out, and it seems to be confirmed, is you see
regular people who care about President Trump.
who are looking at this situation and seeing a man on a roof with a rifle.
Okay.
And they're seeing him crawl toward the peak of this roof.
Yeah.
Pointing him out.
And they say, now that we have, we believe it's at least 86 seconds where they say, hey, there's a guy on the roof.
And they try to communicate this to law enforcement.
You can see people saying, he's got a gun.
He's got a gun.
Officer, officer.
Yeah, officer, officer.
Now, I can understand why, you know, there's going to be a few seconds there where maybe there's chaos.
Maybe they don't understand.
Maybe they don't believe the person.
But they're going to look right away.
They're going to see this.
This should have been communicated.
Was that not enough?
Was 86 seconds not enough time?
Oh my God.
It's so much worse than 86 seconds.
Now, I try to, so let me tell you my last question.
Question number three on this was,
is this the most scary?
And it's, did the shooter have help?
Now, every time, I don't even want to go there, but every time I try not to, new information comes in.
And all the new information that's come in within the last 72 hours, I'm like, have you guys seen JFK with all of your stuff?
JFK?
Of course.
Parts of it were filmed, actually, crazy, right here in the studio.
Yes, that's right.
But I always think of that one of the last moments where Kevin Costner is like, I'm not, I typically try not to be a conspiracy type person, but at the end of it, Kevin Costner is like talking to the jury and he's like laying out the entire case.
By the end of that, you're like,
holy crap.
Like, man, it was the Soviets and gangsters.
And they all, it wasn't even Oswald.
He was just a passing.
You know, you are convinced.
It's every true crime documentary, right?
Like, you watch it.
You always think the making of a murder, the guy's totally innocent.
Like, then you find, oh, there's five details they left out.
They didn't tell you.
Totally.
Well, that's how I hear Kevin Costner's voice, like, reading me these details as they come in.
And I'm like, what the, holy crap.
26 minutes.
That's how bad this is.
26 minutes before the shot started, which we have now known from reporting from both CBS and the New York Post, is when the law enforcement first saw this shooter.
The officer saw the shooter, right?
Walking onto the grounds, right?
Where were they?
They were below by that building right inside that building oh wait so the snipers are set up inside that's where they why stew why were they inside the building now i am not an expert in this but i feel like you should be having like maybe you'd be on the roof or some sort of clear line of sight toward the crowd unless it was dangerous like spikes on the ground or you know heavy gunfire active at the time sure maybe you would rethink that is that what was going on no no that wasn't what was going on no not at all so these guys are inside and we do have do we have the clip of the Secret Service agent talking about this is this is one of the most unbelievable things I've ever heard in my entire life.
Can we play this?
My eyes are going to roll back in my head.
I cannot continue, I think, for the rest of the day.
You may need to deal with that because this clip must be heard.
Look, this is Kim Cheadle.
She's the head of the Secret Service.
It should not be more than five minutes after I play this clip that she is no longer the head of the Secret Service.
This is the most embarrassing thing I've ever heard in my entire life.
Listen.
Should that roof have been secure, period.
That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point.
And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof.
And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building from inside.
I mean, I
cannot even freaking believe she said that.
And this is, I think, her tour to try to get her to keep her job, right?
She doesn't want to do this interview.
Someone in the White House said, get out there and get ahead of this.
We look like, you know,
we look like we're completely incompetent.
Go out there and solve this.
And her answer is, ah, you know, it's a sloped roof.
So we can't put anybody up there.
I saw roofers all over America posting pictures of themselves on roofs that are like straight down being like, hey, I can help out whenever you need me.
Did you see the picture of this actual snipers that were behind John on that roof?
On a sloped roof.
It's actually, I thought it was the same building.
It's more of a slope.
It's more of a slope.
Yes, that is the comments of a woman that is frightened for her job.
And she's covering her butt because she should be.
Why would she be covering it unless she knows that they're negligent here?
She knows they are.
I mean, when you watch the sniper crawling around up there, I mean, the only thing he's not doing is burpees.
He could be doing burpees.
And like somersaults.
It's incredible.
She should be gone today.
Absolutely.
Today.
I don't want to wait for the hearing.
I don't want to wait for any more answers.
This is over.
Get her out of there immediately, not just for the safety of Donald Trump and now RFK, but also President Biden.
Every single person who is under the control of the Secret Service with her at the head of it is in danger.
And this needs to end today.
There's no waiting.
I know she's supposed to come testify.
God only knows what she'll say then.
Well, was,
it was too high off the ground.
What is she going to talk?
I don't know what her next excuse is going to be.
It was a metal roof, which gets awful hot.
Awful hot.
I didn't want the bottom of my officer's shoes to melt while they were on the roof.
I'm legitimately expecting something like that of this woman.
It's completely ridiculous.
Everyone's talking about the DEI part of that.
That needs to be investigated.
Absolutely.
That is all real and all needs to be done.
It also needs to be done with her not in control of the Secret Service.
She needs to get me out of there immediately.
No.
To go on television after the president former president of the united states and probably future president of the united states was almost almost had his head blown off in front of not only us but a lot of our children watching this speech the fact that her excuse for that is the roof the roof was sloped
it's one of the most Insane.
I mean, it's on the level of like Baghdad Bob from like the Iraq war saying, oh, there's nobody here.
And two minutes later, they're out of power.
Like, it's that bad of a statement.
It needs to be over today.
Yeah.
But 26 minutes is what I keep on going back to.
Yeah.
I can't, if you, if going back to Kevin Costner, like narrating this, if, if you heard all of these details.
Like the Secret Service says that this, this is Kevin Costner saying this in the courtroom.
It was a slopey roof.
So the Secret Service said they couldn't, you know, put as they're supposed to snipers up there.
They, they noticed the sniper.
They noticed Lee Harvey Oswald 26 minutes before the actual shot.
They noticed Lee Harvey Oswald pull out a rangefinder.
They noticed Lee Harvey Oswald then come back with a backpack.
What?
Like, are you kidding me?
And then all this is reporting.
And this was before.
Have you seen, you've seen that video where it's like two minutes and they link up and the people are like, officer, officer, officer?
He's on the stage.
Trump should have never even been on the stage.
That's what I was going to ask you.
My impression would have been that, okay, let's use your 26 minutes.
All right.
And we have a possible threat inside our perimeter, right?
So you pull him.
Pull him off.
Hold off.
He doesn't need to be on the stage.
We can wait.
And they've done it before.
You can make it look however you want him to look like.
Like, you know, like, oh, we got another speaker coming in.
Or, oh, you know, but whatever.
You can make up whatever.
Whatever.
Yeah.
Wait, what if you're the other speaker?
They're just going to put you on stage.
It's usually what a guy like Stu comes in last minute, you have to fill in.
Hi.
Wait a minute.
That's happening today.
Oh, oh.
I'm doing the show today for Glenn, who was quote unquote sick.
He seemed fine yesterday.
I got a ton of people.
Are there threats on the studio?
They're like, yeah, just throw stew on.
I'm not feeling well right now myself.
I'm going to have to get out of here.
All right, let's take a quick break.
We'll be back
with more of this in just a second.
This is incredible.

We're going to be going to your calls here in about five minutes.
So hang out for a couple more minutes.
Jason,
before you go,
we have a situation where
conspiracy theories are all over the place.
The ones on the left are hilarious.
Like they are just straight out like, well, he wasn't actually shot.
It's not a real bandage.
Like, they're going, you know, all the way to the wall with every conspiracy theory they can come up with.
And you're starting to see some of this, I think, on the right, too, is trying to explain what the hell happened here.
Yes.
And normally, like, a lot of the conspiracy theories you can dismiss right away in this situation i think a lot of them you still can dismiss however i kind of understand people reaching for theories after watching this debacle
what does this mean to our country
it shows that how you know how they've been operating these situations in the past with with big-time political motivations behind it.
Like
this breeds conspiracy theory.
They're creating this situation.
And what I mean by that is every every single time something like this happens, everything is immediately scrubbed.
Access is locked down, and they just won't tell us anything.
You still don't know what happened to the Las Vegas shooter.
What the hell?
I mean, we don't know.
All they can say is this, oh, it just came out of nowhere.
That's a really good thing.
You have no lead.
Normally, we get something, though.
This situation.
Depending on the,
if it was a guy with a white power tattoo across his forehead, we would know now.
I think so.
Absolutely.
And we really know very little about this shooter here.
Here we are several days after a presidential assassination attempt, and we have very, very little about this guy.
He's apparently just the only 20-year-old on earth that wasn't going online a lot.
He's apparently like
we know that he, you know, they keep saying he's a registered Republican.
It's the only detail they repeat.
It's the only one.
And that he made a donation to a liberal cause.
This is not a sane political
move.
If you're actually a registered Republican, you're not going through Act Blue to donate to a liberal get out out the vote campaign.
That's just not happening.
Okay, so I've done intelligence counterintelligence.
That sounds exactly like textbook way of how you confuse the masses.
That might not be what they're doing, but because they're not being transparent, let's give them one thing on one side and one thing on the other and have them fight it out.
Meanwhile, we never figure out.
And like the lowest forms of investigation never really happens.
Right.
The lowest forms of the left and lowest forms of humanity, people like Eric Swalwell, are out there going, like, oh, I guess a Republican, Republicans should really stop shooting their own candidates.
Now, he is just a complete dirtbag.
How does that guy even have the balls to continue to say anything in public anymore?
Yeah, considering his...
He farts on live TV.
He sleeps with like Chinese agents.
Like allegedly.
Like, come on.
Like, how do you have the guts to even say anything?
He does, though.
Go in your hole.
Because the president of the United States just continues to lie every day, too.
Why not them?
I personally love the fact that this is a man who slept with a Chinese spy over and over and over again, and you led with the fact that he farted on live television.
That was your number one criticism of Harris Waffle,
which I will say is he did fart on live television.
That is not a conspiracy theory.
That curse.
I did not watch that replay of that.
Oh, I don't know what to do with that.
Like on replay for like a 30-minute period.
All right, it's 888-727 back.

Right, Jeffy, you know the NMLS number from back in the day.
Would it be nice to live in a world where your credit card balance wasn't hit with crippling compound interest?
Sounds kind of nice, right?
Unfortunately, we don't live in that world.
And if you're someone who has to use credit cards a lot, chances are fair that you could end up into lots and lots of debt.
And that's not a fun place to be.
Especially when you're talking about the kind of debt that can wipe out your savings and set you back years and years, if not permanently, if you're a fiscally responsible person, you should find a little time in your schedule to give the mortgage consultants over at American Financing a quick call.
They're going to look over your finances.
They're going to say, hey, there's some areas here that can be improved.
We can help you with this.
For instance, your mortgage really can be made to work for you.
It can help you get out of high interest debt fast.
It's the kind of thing that happens for people when they get in touch with American Financing.
As always, don't take my word for it.

By the way, I want to remind you, we've got a big show on tonight for Studios America, which includes going through the Lester Holt Joe Biden interview, the parts that you may have missed.
Fantastic interview.
It really was riveting.
And Joe Biden is somehow getting a pass on this thing just because of the news cycle.
Did it make you proud that he's the president of the United States, his interview with Lester Holt?
I frequently just feel an overwhelming sense of embarrassment watching this guy speak.
It's incredible how often it happens to me.
It's that cringy feeling that you have.
I'm like, I can't believe this guy is our president.
He is.
He's unreal.
He is.
And he doesn't seem to be actually operating as a president, but we'll get into that more tonight.
Go to youtube.com/slash stew doesamerica.
Follow the show.
Click the bell for notifications because we're doing a lot of live broadcasts when all this breaking news is happening.
So don't miss it throughout the day.
And it'll give you a little bit of an alert.
I want to get your phone calls in here because we've been trying to cover all the news.
We've been trying to hit everything.
It's been impossible.
Oh my gosh.
It's overwhelming.
Literally, we joked
three months ago that it's overwhelming.
It really is now.
I've never seen a week like this.
Just the fact that just the RNC is always what dominates this week of college.
Always.
And then add-on that the VP happens where Trump kind of like releases that at the same time.
So there's added drama.
We have all the stuff with Joe Biden's mind failing.
And then we have a bullet hitting the former president of the United States all at the same time.
It's overwhelming.
And so I want to feel, I want to ask you that.
Are you overwhelmed?
When you're watching all of this, how do you feel?
What is your sense of where the country is going?
We want to hear from you.
Triple 8-727-BECK.
We'll start with Kay in Ohio.
Kay, welcome to the Glenn Beck program with Stu and Jeffy.
Thank you.
Well, your question was,
how do I feel about J.D.
Vance as the VP?
And I'm excited about it.
I wanted, he was kind of one of my picks.
I would have been happy with any of them, but I'm extremely happy that he picked him.
And I,
this morning, I was listening to a show locally that there was this guy from Cleveland, and he's some kind of, you know, talk host or whatever.
I don't know.
Anyway, he was saying,
yeah, he was saying, oh, that's a terrible pick because he's not a woman or he's not black or he's not something else.
And I'm like,
go
be careful.
Thank you.
Thank you.
It's a tense time.
I don't feel like those words typically slip out of your mouth, Kay, but maybe you are that type of person.
But I appreciate it.
And thank you for the call.
I've heard that same criticism a lot.
And I don't really get it because we sit here and we criticize these companies for going woke.
We criticize these candidates for going woke.
We laugh at the diversity, equity, and inclusion inclusion efforts.
And then everyone's like, well, he's got to choose a woman.
He's got to choose a person of color.
Like, this is Donald Trump we're talking about.
The whole point of him as a candidate, as a president, and he'd tell you the same, is I don't deal with that nonsense.
I pick on merit.
Go back to The Apprentice and watch it.
That was the whole point.
Who I think will do the best job, period.
Yeah, that's what it's supposed to be.
So I will say, just on that front, I never believed that.
I always believed he would pick who he thought was the best candidate.
And JD Vance
is
two things about the J.D.
Vance pick.
Number one, in 2016, he picked out of a position of weakness.
He was worried that the evangelical right would not come along with Donald Trump.
The party wasn't comfortable with him.
They didn't know what was going on.
Lots of questions about Donald Trump.
He picked Mike Pence to sure up that part of his base.
He doesn't need to do that anymore.
Now he's at a position of strength, certainly within the party, but I think also looking at this election, he believes he's winning it.
So, if you're winning the election, and again, you can argue whether he's going to or not, but if you think you're winning the election, you can pick somebody who you think will be the, will help your legacy, will continue your policy platforms when you're long gone.
And J.D.
Vance is a great pick for that.
He's very well aligned with Trump.
He has an intellectual backbone to the Trump policies.
What is he, 39?
He's 39 years old.
So, this, and he's great on television.
He's super smart.
We'll see how he is.
I mean, he speaks tonight.
You know, Vivek was great yesterday
at the RNC.
I mean, it's the new breed.
You're not seeing any of the
old school RNC Republicans at this
convention.
The new breed is there.
Interesting to watch.
All right.
Kay, thanks for the phone call.
Jack in Ohio, welcome to the Glenn Beck program with Stu and Jeffy.
Hey, Stu.
Hey, Jeffy.
Hello.
I'll answer the question that I was talking about before, which is, I think that
we got a great pick in the vice president.
I've shook his hand.
He is a good guy.
And I think that he'll do an awesome job with President Trump.
And he's driving the left nuts.
But I think that any of those people
who spoke last night, the three common people, and all of his former opponents,
we have such a deep bench
in the Republican Party, I would have voted for any of those people
before Joe Biden or anyone else.
Yeah,
they all looked really good.
I don't know that I would have voted for Nikki Haley, but
the others, I mean, Sarah Huckabee was great last night.
Vave was.
You're right.
They even put an adorable dog on the stage for part of the night.
Whoever that dog was.
Very cute.
Very cute dog.
Yeah, no, I think they're right.
There is a big bench.
Now, you have to factor in that the Democrats Democrats have Kamala Harris.
So.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
And Gavin Newsom.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, they got that going on for them, which is nice.
No, I mean, it was.
There is a good crowd there.
I mean,
Cruz, Ramaswamy, DeSantis, Haley.
I mean, look, Haley, you might not agree with.
I know you don't like her policies as much as some of these other people, but like on a normal Republican year,
Haley would probably be better than half of the people that run.
Yeah, that's very cute.
And on paper, was a pretty pretty strong candidate.
I don't know.
I think you're right.
There is a good bench there.
And I will mention, too, on J.D.
Vance, a lot of people are saying, well, you know, it's not a person of color.
Who is he appealing to?
He's appealing to the Rust Belt.
He is a man who is famous because he wrote Hillbelly Elegy.
Hillbelly Elegy, the baby.
Back at number one on Amazon Prime yesterday on Prime Day and in the top 10 on Netflix.
I'll add.
Yeah, because people are interested.
It's him speaking about the problems of that specific area, which coincidentally is the exact area Donald Trump needs to win a state in.
If he wants to become president of the United States again, he's got to win Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, or Michigan, one of the three.
And yes, you know,
Vance is from Ohio, but I mean, he's from that area.
The book specifically addresses the area,
the needs and problems of the voters in those areas.
You know, Trump reportedly said, well, what are you going to, someone asked him, what are you going to do with Vance?
He says,
I'm going to leave him in Pennsylvania was his answer.
In other words, go to these areas and just pound the pavement.
And look, Vance knows these people.
He knows these voters really, really well.
He came up as a person dealing with all these same problems.
And so from that perspective, I think it's an underrated pick.
I think it does have utility.
It's not just a legacy pick, but it does fit that as well.
Tom in Pennsylvania.
Ah, but you're going to be seeing a lot of J.D.
Vance in the coming months.
Tom, welcome to the Glenn Deck program.
We look forward to it.
You You know, a U.S.
Marine, a graduate, Suma Kum Laud of Yale Law School, do you think he'll be able to keep up with Kamala, though?
God, can you imagine Kamala Harris against J.D.
Vance?
J.D.
Vance is going to smoke Kamala in a debate.
He did that with Tim Ryan, who was somewhat strong.
He was certainly very well-funded Senate candidate in his last run.
He smoked him in those debates.
I mean, go back and watch some of the highlights.
J.D.
Vance is not going to have a problem with the intellect of Kamala Harris.
That, I promise you.
I look forward to it.
But I'll tell you, having worked in Pennsylvania politics for the better part of 50 years, I'm not overconfident, you know, because this is a tough state.
I worked for the state house for 35 years.
I worked in campaigns, statewide campaigns back in like 1981.
And
it's a tough state, and it's gotten a little tougher for Republicans.
And I remember one thing Governor Dick Thornberg said, our former governor going way back,
he was asked about politics eons ago.
And he said, well, in politics, a year is like a millennia.
So
a lot can happen between now and November.
So I'm a little worried about that.
And anybody who's overconfident needs to get checked.
Yes, this is a great point, Tom.
And let me add on to it, because I talk to a lot of people, friends, who are like, this is over.
I got news for you.
It's certainly possible.
Is Donald Trump the favorite?
Absolutely.
He's the favorite.
He was the favorite before he was taking bullets for you, right?
Like, this is a guy who was the favorite against a candidate with a 36% approval rating who had a 36% approval rating before the debate.
But one thing I will say is four months is a long time.
If you go back and you look at the Reagan assassination attempt, he did get a bump in approval rating following that assassination attempt.
It was gone in three months.
We're three and a half months away from the presidential election.
And I will say that you might notice that news cycles go by a lot faster these days than 1981.
Yes, they do.
In addition to that, we have the entire cycle of Joe Biden being an invalid on the debate stage.
And yes, that's hurt Biden, but he is absolutely still within striking distance in all of these polls.
Now, the state polling looks worse for him, but a normal polling error
You know, usually they're not perfect.
A normal polling error, if it goes
to the side of Joe Biden, has Joe Biden basically squeaking out a win.
Wow.
So that's how close we are now.
That
does not factor in anything that happened after the assassination attempt.
We have no good polling since that occurred.
That'll probably come later this week, and we'll get a beginning of a sense of what that thing meant.
But I'll say this: like,
it all feels like it's going
really well politically for Donald Trump right now, and it is.
I don't remember ever seeing a run like this.
He's getting cases dismissed against him.
He's surviving gunshots and like making iconic photos.
He's in the middle of what seems to be a really successful RNC.
But these things change fast, and the media will do everything they can to change fast.
That's for sure.
That's for sure.
But that's what you have to hope
doesn't happen because they want to desperately.
And when you have the president being combative with the people on his side, that's a problem.
Because now you're...
now, dude,
we were on your side.
Yeah.
What do you, you, you don't, you're yelling at us?
We're on your side.
We're not saving you.
Yeah, it's true.
And it's impossible to know where this goes because of what you're talking about, Jeffy.
Until we get these,
who the candidate is
sorted out, God only knows where this goes.
And look, yes, Joe Biden is terrible.
And of course, Kamala is also terrible, but Kamala would be harder to beat than Joe Biden because at the very least, she can read a teleprompter.
Especially the later it gets.
Yeah, and also she's...
Whoever they replace him with, if they replace him, is not going to be 81 years old.
That I can promise you.
So anyone who can at least solve that problem, which is their largest problem when it comes to the polls, is his age and incompetence when it comes to whether he has the mental acuity to do this job.
Look, no one thinks Kamala Harris is a strong candidate, but any sort of uncertainty you inject into this situation makes me nervous, frankly.
So we'll get into that maybe in a little bit.
Tons more calls on the board.
We're going to go to those here in a second.

This month we've been celebrating the birth of our nation and remembering the heroes who fought for our freedoms.
But you know, some Americans today still don't have that freedom.
Why?
Well, they're aborted.
Thousands of unborn babies are, and their lives are taken away every single day.
Why do we allow this to happen in our country?
Well, Pre-Born is doing everything they can to try to stop that.
They are the largest
pro-life organization in the country, Pre-Born is, and they are leading the charge to put an end.
to the atrocity of abortion.
Every day, they sponsor free ultrasounds for women.
That's a big deal because, you know, when these women are there, they have double the chance of choosing life after they see the unborn child on the monitor or hear that heartbeat.
Twice as likely.
You can make a difference with this.
If you're a business owner, maybe you can even do something more than just a couple bucks.
Maybe you can consider a larger donation for a write-off, a donation of $1,000, $2,000, even $20,000.
It is worth it.
to keep children alive.
I mean, that's not an argument you should have to make in this society, but man, you do have to make it quite often.

What are you feeling?
What are you seeing?
Let's go to Linda in Ohio.
Linda, welcome to the Glenbeck program.
Hi, thank you for taking my call.
I guess this whole DEI thing is eating away at me.
I'm a senior citizen with a very long, distinguished career that involves some interaction with the Secret Service.
I was around in the workforce way before DEI, and as a female, I am totally insulted by this whole program.
Because let's face it, recently all the embarrassment has come from women put in positions for which they were not skilled enough
she needs to go yes
embarrassment to a very honorable organization she only got her job because of her gender so as a fellow female it's like it insults me because I'm thinking every woman with a decent job, the rest of the world's thinking they only got it because they were a female.
Yeah, it's affecting whether she needs to resign.
She works for us.
She needs to go.
Okay, that's my main beef there.
Linda, yeah, thank you so much.
I mean, it's funny.
I think the people who are most pissed off about this are women.
Just like, what the heck?
Really?
Like, that's going to be the example of who we are.
And of course, it isn't, right?
Like, there are many, many millions of very competent women out there doing their jobs very well.
I will say this, the Secret Service head does not seem to be one of them.
I don't know.
I have a vacation next week.
I don't know that she has.
I have a feeling she'll also be on vacation by the time I'm back.
I don't know.
I could be wrong on that.
I don't think this is going to go well.
In fact, luckily, we do have Sarah Gonzalez coming on because if you want to have someone who's going to tell us about
whether women should be in certain roles, she has strong opinions on this.
I can't wait to hear what she has to say about the Secret Service head.
So much.
And I want to hear from you.

Now, you've been seeing all these anti-American, anti-Israel college protests over the past few months, and a little terrifying for the country, I think you might have detected.
But who's helping George Soros fund these college occupations?
Unfortunately, you very well might be.
Every time you use your credit card, your woke credit card company uses your money to support left-wing groups.
It's not the best thing to hear, but it's good to hear the truth.

Welcome to the fusion

and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
I was thinking to myself, we're in kind of a crazy world right now.
We're seeing the female head of the Secret Service tell us that she didn't want to put agents on a sloped roof.
We're seeing the president of the United States get shot because of that decision.
And then we're seeing him surrounded by agents, many of which seem to be about half the height of the president, which seems to be a problem.
There are agents who don't seem to be able to holster their own weapons in all of these videos.
And I thought, who's the one person I'd love to talk to about all of these problems?
Sarah Gonzalez joins us here in 60 seconds.
First, I want to tell you about my Patriot Supply.
I want you to stop what you're doing and think about this for a second.
Your God-given freedoms are up for the taking.
And even worse, those doing the taking are the same people who have sworn to defend your freedom.
Man, it's been a crazy time, and they've been trying to take away freedom every way they can for years and years and years, largely with success.
but you know what they can't take away from you self-reliance peace of mind do you have let's say water filtration at your home how about a charged solar generator do you have emergency food on the shelf my patriot supply can help you with this they're the nation's leader in high quality emergency food and other preparedness equipment and they provide the perfect way to have peace of mind for you and your family remember it's always better to have emergency food and not need it this should be obvious but it's i will say to some people today it doesn't seem like it is.

It delivers over 2,000 calories per day for you and your loved ones, and it's sealed inside basically unpierceable packaging.

That's right.
Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher.
I don't know why that's so difficult.
I should really remember it.
Although you are thinning out a little bit.
I don't know what's going on.
How much weight have you lost?
About 40.
40 pounds.
Congratulations.
I'm sticking a bucket of water out of the ocean.
I know that.
It's okay.
It's all right.
It's okay.
It's a big step.
So

Yeah, thanks.

It's on Blaze TV.
She doesn't believe you.
I think she does.
I do.
I think he sold it well.
He sold it well.
And I appreciate you having me on filling in for
Glenn as the diversity hire.
You know, you're not a DEI hire.
They said today we're going to have the DEI hire on
instead of Glenn.
Here's the thing, Sarah.
Sometimes, and this is going to surprise some people, sometimes, you know, women can do jobs really, really well.
Sometimes better than men.
That's an amazing thing.
Yeah.
Actually.
And I clean my house way better than my husband.
Well,
let's be clear.
Believe me, that's true in my house.
That's definitely true in my house.
Absolutely something that should be true for every house.
There you go.
Thank you, Jeffy.
We're bringing the chauvinism in.
And we're going to get probably even more chauvinism from Sarah because I think one of the first conversations I ever had with you, we were talking about politics and we were talking about somebody who at the time wanted to run for president, a woman.
And like, you know, we were like, ah, you know, I think she'd be great.
I don't remember even who it was.
And you're like, yeah, I don't think women should be president.
No, not at all.
I don't.
I really don't.
I'm very strong on that stance.
Yeah,
you still feel that way.
Yes, I also think that women should not be in the secret service.
Really?
I will say.
Or the military.
Or the military.
So you're just, you're eliminating women from a lot of roles.
And you mean just like,
do you mean like in the field?
Yeah, I mean like combat.
Now, I will say, I mean, if the secret service director is, you know, any example, I also don't think they should be high levels of any of those organizations either, because clearly they are not capable of making right decisions when it comes to protecting and defending, you know, the one thing they're supposed to do.
It does feel that way.
We're talking about Kim Cheadle.
She is the head of the Secret Secret Service.
Now, her background was, she was, I think, lifelong Secret Service for at least a very long time.
She eventually went to the head of security at Pepsi.
And my understanding was there were no assassinations of any Pepsi employees.
There were big security threats going on at PepsiCo.
I will say, my eyes have lit up when the new Doritos flavor comes out.
Who knows?
People steal Cheetos all the time.
I don't know what you do as a head of security
for Cheetos or Frito-Lay or Pepsi, but that's where she came from.
But she was Secret Service before this.
She didn't just jump into this role.
I will say the focus of the organization recently seems to be
different than how I think I would set it up if I were the head of it.
Again, I'm just a layman.
I don't know this stuff, but it seems really obvious that the genitals of the agents should not be the focus of you as the head of security.
But like DEI has been a big deal for this woman.
Yes, 100%.
I mean, one of her main goals was to hire more women in the secret service.
Why in the world would that even be a goal?
The goal is to make sure that the person you're protecting is secure.
And the way that you do that is obviously by having giant men surround them, giant, very strong men surround them.
You know, there was a story not that long ago that I think mostly went kind of unnoticed by the legacy media, but there was a story not that long ago about, I believe this was one of Kamala's protection details.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Remember?
And it was a woman, and she went crazy.
Yes.
I mean, crazy started, started making threats to her fellow Secret Service members to the extent that one of the Secret Service members had to tackle her.
Yeah.
And handicapped.
Totally missed this.
And guess what?
The one that tackled her was a man.
Yeah.
Because men are stronger than women.
Isn't that crazy how that works?
The one who was able to keep the threat under control was the man.
And like, this is not an insult.
This is just biology.
It's just biology.
Like, you're going to be taller.
I mean, the height thing, to take out the strength for a second, the height thing, the average male, taller than the average female.
Right.
Watching the president of the United States, who's a tall guy.
What is he, 6'4?
Yeah.
He's walking around there.
And, like, I liked, look, I loved the moment where we could see Donald Trump put his fist up and say fight, fight, fight.
It was an incredible American moment.
Also should not have been something we could see because he was instead behind large Secret Service agents.
Instead, we saw him because,
I mean, it is over someone who's like 5'3.
Yeah, well, right, exactly right.
But don't worry, Stu, because she was putting her hand up as if she were Iron Man, thinking maybe if someone took that headshot, the bullet wouldn't just go straight through her hand into Donald Trump's head.
I mean, it's ridiculous.
Of course, she shouldn't be guarding someone who's much taller than her.
Right.
And so,
and it's not just height, it's not just
body mass and strength.
There does seem to be a difference in the competence level of at least the agents that were there that day.
Correct.
That's what we saw.
I mean, many of them looked surprisingly panicked.
You could hear them.
There's audio of them saying, what are we doing?
What are we doing?
Where are we going in the moment where they're supposed to have a plan?
Which is exactly what I hear when we're trying to go out to dinner.
My wife, what are we doing?
Where are we going?
I don't know, honey.
It is very difficult.
Well, you can't expect the woman to come up with a decision.
No, I brought up 42 restaurants.
You said no to all of them.
And then when I asked you for the 43rd one, you said, I don't care.
You do care.
You do care what restaurant we're going to.
Your wife is not a secret service agent.
She is not.
And I think she would say she shouldn't be.
I would agree with that.
I know your wife.
And by the way, she's stronger than me.
So she's
jacked.
But she still shouldn't be a secret service agent.
So when you watch this and you see the incompetence, seemingly, of these moments, and look, I'm not in that moment.
I've never had to deal with a live fire situation.
I can't, I mean, it's got to be the hardest thing in the world.
But these are the people that are supposed to be able to handle it.
I know I would handle it poorly.
That's why I'm not in this job.
Right.
When you look at this, you see the bumbling.
We notice the bumbling.
We notice it looks like, and people have said this, but it looked like a scene out of Reno 911.
And that's not, I mean, that's terrifying for not only Donald Trump or RFK Jr., but also President Biden.
I don't want anybody assassinated.
Let's skip that.
That was bad back in the day.
I remember that.
It was a really rough era of
our country's history.
So, I mean,
am I wrong in thinking that this is just DEI?
It is, you know, they're putting people in positions not based on merit, but based on some other weird metric having to do with gender or something else.
And that's just wrong for the country.
Yeah, I mean, the crazy thing about this is that we've leaned so far into DEI, and we have such incompetency at all of these governmental agencies that it's hard to even know whether this was just straight incompetency or if there was something more sinister at play because we do have a very very active deep state i don't know if anyone's paying attention right and so you've got all these people i mean i talked to a greenberey sniper who He's very convinced that there was some sort of an inside job or second shooter going on because the levels at which there was just complete failures rose to
doesn't make sense.
It doesn't make sense.
that it would be a coincidence for this to happen it's more than incompetency and but but but you have to step back and go but how crazy is it that we're living at a time where we have to go i mean this joe biden better hoped that this was just straight and uh that joe biden better hoped that this was an inside job and not incompetency
because he's a threat he's at risk at risk as well right if this is incompetency yeah and i don't i mean i just he doesn't even know who she is well he just
to lester hopefully he misgendered her to Lester.
Yeah.
He doesn't even know who she is.
He doesn't even know.
We are in one of the craziest situations any president has ever had to deal with.
His opponent, a former president, almost got assassinated.
And the guy doesn't even know who this head of the Secret Service is.
If it wasn't Joe Biden, it would be, you know, maybe the benefit of the doubt that it was just like, yeah, I've talked to him.
You know, I've talked to him.
I mean, you could say he's, I think they're trying to basically claim it's, I talked to them.
Yeah.
He kind of just.
Oh, that was a him.
But that was a him.
Absolutely.
It it was.
Absolutely.
But because of all those other past
fumbles.
Fumble.
Thank you.
Fumble.
Thank you.
That was an F-word that you were allowed to use.
Yes.
Because I thought you were going to do something.
There's no way you're going to give him the benefit of the doubt.
No way.
He doesn't deserve it.
How can you?
You can't give him the benefit of the doubt.
And like, I was thinking about this where
I want the job to be
filled because of merit.
And I think when you're talking about, you talk about Corinne Jean-Pierre getting that job.
mostly it's just funny, right?
Like she's completely incompetent at it.
She obviously would have not had this job if she was not black and gay and whatever other, you know,
intersectional line she crosses.
She obviously wouldn't have had that job.
And what it does is it gives us a lot of entertainment.
It's a job that it's sad.
It does make a difference that she's butchering that job every day, but mostly it's just funny to me, right?
When you talk, we're talking about secret service agents.
When you're talking about our military, it crosses a much different line.
And like, look,
you know if gina carano were on that uh that uh detail it's probably totally fine she'd probably kick everybody's ass right like you know there are it's possible yes but that does not seem like what they were doing those are rare those are rare though right like you're a ufc fighter sure you probably i don't know probably you can do it i don't think that that is a
there are very few exceptions to that rule and the exceptions are so few that maybe you just don't even look for them exactly right and that that's my stance is, sure, people are going to come at me.
They always do.
And they're like, but what about so-and-so?
Because they could do the job.
But what about this woman?
She could be president.
All right.
I got it.
But as a general rule, I just think we just don't even go there.
Let's just not even go there.
Are you willing to find out if this is the woman who can actually do the job or not?
I'm not.
Look, I think it's pretty obvious to people that like...
I think most people would say, okay, wait a minute.
A five-foot-three Melissa McCarthy type woman should not be, you know.
Can't even find her holster.
Right.
Can't find her holster.
Should not be protecting the president.
I think you may need to explain the president, though, line that a woman can't do that job.
Because that seems like just a mental job.
Like, that's a,
you don't need to be strong and tough to do that job.
Okay, I can do that for you.
Okay.
Give it to me and we're going to take a break.
Okay.
All right.
So it's the same thing as the Secret Service director saying no one could be on the roof because it was sloped, right?
Women are too emotional to make certain decisions.
Also.
It's the same thing with the Secret Service woman going crazy.
Women are too emotional and irrational.
I've heard the case made that
you're dealing with world leaders, and a lot of world leaders.
They don't respect women.
They don't respect women.
Is it wrong?
Yes, but it's just the truth of the matter.
It's very basic.
I will say, I mean, you're negotiating with, I mean, we've had secretaries of state that have been female, and there have been reports of like certain countries, you know, heads of state that just won't even speak to them.
Right.
So there are those risks there.
Now, that's not,
we don't necessarily have have to make decisions based on what, you know, Saudi Arabia is doing in their country, but it is a factor, right?
Right.
It is a factor.
And then apparently they're too emotional as well.
I mean, look, I'm not a woman.
I have had women in my life, and I've, you know, you've said that.
And
occasionally, I mean, I do have a daughter who maybe occasionally is occasionally emotional.
So we'll get into this a little bit more here in just a second with Sarah Gonzalez.
Of course, Sarah Gonzalez Unfiltered.
She's the host of that particular program.
You should subscribe to it.
And of course, subscribe to Blaze Blaze TV as well.

Check out the shows.
See if you like the coverage.
I think you will.
And you'll get 30 bucks off your annual subscription as well if you decide to stick around.
Look, if you've watched the mainstream media coverage of not only this, where they're already back to Trump is Hitler.
Like, that's already expired.
The window there where you weren't supposed to say that anymore.
Already over.
That Lester Holt interview we're going to go through on Studos America tonight.
It's filled with him saying, well, the reason why this assassination happened is the victim of the assassination kept saying bad things.
Wait, what?
That's essentially what Biden said, if you could translate the mumbling.
We'll get into that tonight on the program as well.
Let me tell you quickly about Rough Greens.
Rough Greens, if you have a dog, you love your freaking dog.
We were on vacation.
We were in Colorado for a few days, and we came back and picked up the dogs from their little pet resort thing and brought them home.
And man, it's just the freaking best.
They come home.
They're so excited to see you.
The tails are wagging like crazy.
They want to come and just, we have this one dog, Ivy, because comes, runs at you full speed.
And before she even gets to you, just turns around and lays on her back.
And she's doing it so fast and so excited for you to rub her belly that she slides on her back toward you.
It's freaking adorable.
I love these animals.
And, you know, look, they just become a part of your life.
You want to do the best for them.
And rough greens is a great way to do that.
Both our dogs love rough greens.
It's not a dog food.
It is a supplement developed by naturopathic Dr.
Dennis Black that you sprinkle on top of the dog food.
Brown food is dead food.
You want the greens, and if you name it, you know, I mean, like, you're going to find it in Rough Greens if it's healthy for your dog.
The folks at Rough Greens are so confident that your dog is going to love it, they have a special deal for you.
Go to roughgreens.com/slash back or call 833-GLEN33.

It's 833-GLEN33.
833-G-L-E-N-N33.
Give a call today.
It's RoughGreens, 10 seconds station ID.
888-727-B-E-C-K is the phone number.
We have a bunch of phone calls lined up, and we'd love to get you in line as well.
Kind of trying to take the temperature of where you are in your community and the people around you.
What are people feeling?
What do you think is going to happen with the election?
How are you reacting to the Trump craziness?
Get in line now.
888727 Beck.
Sarah, where were you when you heard the news that this had happened with Donald Trump?
At home feeding our toddler dinner.
And our friend Chad Prather texted me and said the president was just shot.
Trump was just shot.
And I was like, no way.
Get out of here.
Yeah, you think they're joking, right?
You're like, okay, whatever.
I texted my mom and told her she said the same thing.
No, you're lying.
No, we didn't.
And so, of course, immediately turned on the coverage and then actually had to end up turning it off because our toddler was was asking a lot of questions.
And I was like,
I can't expose him to this.
So,
but yeah, it was, it was heavy.
It was.
You know,
I got a text from a friend who said, hey, you know, president,
he said
there were shots fired at a Trump rally.
And I, and I, I'm like, oh my gosh.
So I'm running over to the TV.
I turn it on.
I'm like, gosh, I hope, you know, Trump wasn't hit by them.
Like, you know, thinking there's no chance that happened.
And the first thing you see is just blood on the side of Donald Trump's face.
And I go back to this over and over again.
It's what happened is impossible.
What happened is impossible.
A bullet fired from 400 feet away that hit his ear.
I don't know if you've seen the video recreation that's been going around on the
you see the head in like digital form as the bullets are going by and you see him I mean, one split second turn his head just slightly.
That totally saves his life.
Yes.
If you brought it into a Hollywood pitch meeting, they would say that's a dumb plot.
No one would ever believe that it would hit his ear.
An absolute miracle that we, along with a bunch of toddlers, children, adults, didn't watch the president of the United States' head get blown off on national television.
I mean, it is a miracle that didn't happen.
The fact that he was up there speaking at the RNC and like walking through with a little bandage on his ear is an absolute miracle.
Yeah.
I mean, he glances a different direction and we would be having a a much different situation.
We sure would.
It's really hard.
I mean, I get chills just talking about it.
It's just really hard to fathom.
It really was.
And it's almost one of those things where
because he wasn't killed or,
you know, hurt in a way that he's still lying in a hospital bed and
unable to communicate.
Because he was okay so quickly, it almost feels like the moment.
The significance of the moment isn't hitting us.
Yeah.
You know, the fact that he got up and put his fist fist up and said, fight, fight, fight, seconds after, you know, indicating to everyone, I think, that he was okay that quickly was really powerful for America and for him and his campaign.
Yes, he was.
But I think almost took some of the sting out of that moment for America.
We have to realize how close to the edge we are and how close to the edge we were this weekend.
Oh, yeah.
And it's all because of women.
Women.
Because they stepped in and saved him.
All because of women in the secret service.
Security failures, I'm just saying.
Let me ask you this question.
Put you on the spot right here.
Oh, gosh.
On this weekend, I am going away for a few days.
I come back on a week from Friday.
A week from Friday, I come back.
Is Kim Cheadle still the head of the Secret Service?
Yes.
Yes.
I think so, too.
Yes.
It's amazing to say that.
How can she last through this?
And the interviews where she's saying the sloped roof is the problem.
They're going to double down on the DEI.
That's what they do.
They do.
I mean, Karen John Pierre still got her gig after all these years.
And Kamala Harris is still the vice president.
I mean, I guess he can't lose a job in the Biden administration.
It's maybe impossible.
Triple 8-727-BECK, your phone calls are coming up.
Next.
Glenn Beck.
So how comfortable are you with the way things are right now?
Are you worried about the state of our nation?
I think you should be.
Maybe about the upcoming election.
Are you worried about that?
What about the downstream consequences of whatever that result is?
Are you paying attention to what the U.S.
dollar is doing around the world?
Did you know, for instance, that Saudi Arabia recently did not renew their petro-dollar agreement with the U.S., that our dollar essentially is losing its status as the world's reserve currency?
How comfortable are you with that?
I mean, you shouldn't be very comfortable.
I certainly am not.

Tonight on Stu Does America, we are going to go through the Lester Holt interview with Joe Biden that I guarantee you didn't watch because there's too much other stuff going on.
And you probably saw one or two clips that were really bad.
We played one of them earlier on today's program, but you probably missed a lot there.
And I think Biden is, oddly,
having his,
his coverage has been cushioned essentially by the crazy news cycle.
And they're not covering this.
They do want him out.
It does seem like that.
And I think we're going to get another push to get him out here in the next couple of weeks.
But ignoring what he did, not only on the Lester Holt speech, but yesterday at the NAACP, which was horrible, terrible.
It was unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Three times, at least that I heard of, he was in the middle of the speech, again, on prompter, talking, and just goes, and
anyway.
Well, I mean,
that's his crutch.
He's got a bunch of crutches.
He has many crutches.
Yes, that's his crutch.
There was one time where he was just
back to the prompter.
Yeah.
Or
he'll just redirect.
He has these like reset crutches.
And anyways, one of them, you know, look is one of them.
The idea is one of his Kim Jong-un story.
Or is Kim Jung-il story?
I mean, I'm sorry.
Which has been debunked many times.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
He traveled the most miles with the man that anybody else ever had.
What a weird flex.
And he couldn't remember, but he forgot the story.
He couldn't remember.
He says in this
AACP, people want to see NCAA,
speech, that
because I've traveled with Kim Jong-hon and we talked together on the
mountain.
Forgot the plateau.
On the mountain.
Just amazing.
Just amazing.
So needless to say, he doesn't even remember his own story.
No.
With all this other stuff going on, the Biden situation has continued to bubble under the surface, and we'll get into that tonight.

We all need it more than anything else.
We're going to go back to the phones.
888-727-BECK.
I want to hear from you.
What are you thinking right now?
Let's go to Tammy in Georgia.
Tammy, welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Hi, I just wanted to say about the metal building that the Secret Service was inside.
You've got a metal building and a metal roof.
Why did they not hear this guy up there?
I mean, I guess you'd have to see the inside.
I don't know if there's another layer of insulation or something inside the building.
It's a good question, though.
It's one I'd like to know the answer to.
Yeah, I mean, there's coffee cups clinking, donuts boxes being opened.
You don't know what's going on in the building.
It's true.
It's true.
Maybe they're blasting some Taylor Swift.
You don't know.
They're kind of hanging out.
You don't know.
It could be a bunch of ladies.
Who knows what's going on right there?
And you're really screwed.
Joe in Indiana.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Joe, are you with this?
Yes, I am.
Okay.
Go ahead.
It's time to talk.
Hi.
I've been watching the convention, and after the last couple nights, I feel very uplifted.
In fact, I'm very excited to be able to vote for something very positive, not just against someone.
So
I'm really enjoying the convention, especially the speakers last night.
I also think that J.D.
Vance was a tremendous pick.
I thought they had a lot of great candidates, but I think Vance
is a home run.
Such a contrast to the vice president right now.
While I am excited, I'm also somewhat fearful.
I think the Democrats are desperate.
I think they're ruthless.
I think that,
well, I think they're capable of anything.
There are a lot of deranged people out there, especially the media.
So I am excited, though, for this election.
I wish it were tomorrow.
Well, yeah,
so does Trump.
So do I.
I mean, he would have a 90-plus percent chance of winning if this thing happens.
Thank you so much for the call.
I appreciate it.
You know, it is fascinating to watch because we've gone through a cycle here over the past, let's say, 10 years, since 2016, where there's always been something weird going on, right?
Like 2016, it was still a very divided party trying to figure out what it was.
2020, obviously it was COVID.
That was bizarre.
2024, like, I think you can make an argument that Trump taking over the party is, I mean, it is done, right?
Like the J.D.
Vance thing, I think, locks this in for a very long time.
You know, it was interesting if you picked, let's say, Marco Rubio, I don't think it necessarily would have been for sure.
Right.
Vance locks in this Trump version.
And look, it's just Trump's party.
Like it, don't like it.
It's just true.
But like, I think as
an event, a convention, it works a lot better when you just everybody's on the same page.
And it does feel like people are there now.
Yeah,
I thought it was funny.
MSNBC ran a graphic that was like notable Republicans who are not at the RNC.
And it was like George W.
Bush,
you know, all of these like very old school Republicans who the new breed would say, we don't want them there anyway.
Yeah, right.
I mean, look, we had McConnell announcing for Kentucky, right?
And he gets booed just for the announcement.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Mike Pence was on the list.
I mean, it's like, guys, we're done.
We're done with those people.
And you mentioned it's Trump's party now.
And I don't disagree with that.
But I also want to point out it's America first.
And that's what we've all come together and said, we're tired of you guys sending all of our money to all of these foreign countries.
We're tired of you guys making, you know, brokering deals with China.
We're tired of all of our jobs going overseas.
Like we are ready for a party to put our country and our people first.
And I think that that most, you know, first and foremost is why J.D.
Vance is just such a great pick.
Well, and it's a great point.
And I think it was one of the interesting things about, let's say, people like Rubio, where Rubio is like not, he's not aligned with the J.D.
Vance version of essentially what we should do in Ukraine, for example.
Yeah.
This is a very specific pick to say something that's been central to Donald Trump's ideology for a long time, which is more,
you know,
you could call it isolationist at some level, not wanting to be involved with foreign affairs as much.
He has been that way since the 80s.
You know, he's, there's certain things that Donald Trump has believed the entire time we've known him, you know, border security, crime prevention,
and,
you know, being less involved overseas.
He's been that way for a long time.
Those are the three three main planks, I would say.
You know, like he's not always, he's been pro-choice before, but he's come a long way on that.
There's a lot of different stuff he's changed his mind on, but that has been pretty consistent.
And J.D.
Vance takes that and
makes it from a situation that we had before, which has been this guessing game for everybody for a long time.
Donald Trump comes in.
He takes the world by storm.
He takes over the Republican Party.
Is this just a Donald Trump thing, though?
Is it a thing where Donald Trump is around for four years or eight years, or in this case, 12 years because of the four years we're unfortunately living through right now?
And then he comes and then he's done and then there's a battle for power.
Does it go towards the Trump direction?
Does it go towards the old school direction?
Is there some new direction?
What is it?
This is a move by Donald Trump, if he can win, that sets the Republican Party on a Trumpian path for as long as we're going to we can see in the foreseeable future.
You agree with that, Sarah?
Yeah, absolutely.
We're making America great again.
So we're going to make America great again.
She's got the red hat on.
You can't see it, but she's got the red hat on.
I'm all for it.
Let's do it.
Let's make America great again.
There we go.
I mean,
real seriously.
Yeah.
Now,
it's going to take some doing.
You know, I mean, what's.
The job's not done in four years.
No, it is not.
That's why this pic was so important.
This last three years, three and a half years,
it's going to be a lot to return to be.
Yeah, I mean, even just, even just take one aspect of that, right?
Like the border, you can't fix that in four years.
Well, you can, you can start blocking it down.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
No, you can make progress, but it, but the job is not done in four years.
That shows with Trump, right?
Like Trump wasn't able to do it in four years.
Dismantling the deep state.
You don't, you can't do that in just four years.
You need more time than that.
Again, progress can be made, but you need someone to carry the torch for you.
All right, let's go to Larry in Florida.
Larry, welcome to the Glen Beck program.
Hi.
I wanted to make a point about J.D.
Vance.
I think he's brilliant picked by Trump, but maybe in a way a lot of people aren't talking about.
It sends a message to the Never Trumper and Rhino Republicans that, you know, we're not going to have that this time.
We're going to have, we're going to do it Trump's way.
It's definitely a Trump party.
That is definitely true.
Thanks for the call, Larry.
Look, I don't even know if that message needs to be sent anymore.
I keep hearing people like, oh, I can't believe this Mitch McConnell.
He's not even a factor
anymore, really.
Like, this is over.
That battle that I think a lot of people are obsessed with, at least online, on Twitter, I see it all the time.
It's like, stop worrying about Paul Ryan.
Like, Paul Ryan isn't there anymore.
Paul Ryan has got a corporate job.
He's had a corporate job for years and years and years.
You don't have to worry about that anymore.
I mean, look,
there will always be people you don't like in the government, but like this has been a situation where like Trump tried to essentially take over the Republican Party and move certain parts of it in totally different directions.
He has succeeded.
He won.
He won that battle.
And I, you know, some of those changes I really like, some of them I don't like as much.
But overall,
the truth of the matter is whether you like it or not, it's just freaking true.
You know, I get these people online all the time, like, especially on the conservative sort of
media side that are like, well, we got to blame, you know, libertarians.
Libertarians have no role in this.
They can't even run their own party, let alone the Republican Party.
I mean, they get, they're nominated, like, like, they can't even like, they can't even do, run their convention.
They're, they're inviting Donald Trump to the freaking convention.
He's taking over their party, too.
Like, I just, like, it's just, we get these sort of debates that pop up and they last way longer than the utility requires.
Like, these are not even questions anymore.
Look, the guys want it.
That's where the American people are right now.
He gets to take the party in the direction he wants to take it in.
And the American people had a chance in 2024 to say, I'd like to go in a different direction than Donald Trump.
I'd like to
keep the general direction, but tweak it with, you you know, whether it's Ron DeSantis or whoever, Nikki Haley, whoever you want.
They said no.
They said they wanted this direction.
This is what the party is.
Like these other debates.
That's on the Trump train band.
Yeah, come on.
That's where, that's where the party is, right?
I mean, I'm not wrong on that.
No, okay.
Well, let's take another call.
Can we take one more from Lucy in Ohio?
Lucy, welcome to the Glenbeck program.
Hi, Stu and Jeff.
You're doing an awesome job, but I'm actually excited.
I didn't know Sarah was coming on.
And when she said women don't belong in in the secret service, I had to like kind of do a cartwheel and cringe.
Thank you.
Like my husband said, even my husband said, women belong in the secret service, just not protecting the president.
So I know that's what you probably might have meant, that there are jobs for them, but just protecting them.
When I saw that guy jump up four feet onto the stage like some Marvel movie kind of actor to get to Trump and then I see the little girl protecting him from the front where the massive people are behind her, where they didn't know where the shooter was coming from.
She wasn't even as tall as his face, but I give her credit.
And the other girl that was a little thick, that I could see inside of her mind, and she's saying, like, how am I going to get down this three-foot step without falling, the three-foot-wide staircase?
I just,
you are spot on.
Did you, I'm sorry, did you say a little thick?
Is that the describe?
Pardon?
Did you say a little thick?
Is that how you described her?
Yeah.
Well, I don't want to say she's fault, but she was back in the camera.
That's what you said.
Yeah.
She's a little thick, you know?
I mean, that's an interesting.
She's a little insulated.
Yeah.
Are you frustrated, Lucy, by the coverage of this so far?
Am I frustrated?
We have no info on the shooters, no pictures of the parents, no social media hints, no manifests, no phone info except where they got into it.
Big deal.
Yet with the Vegas shooter, when the Vegas shooter came out we knew within a couple of days how many guns how much ammo yeah what the caliber was the size of the friggin suitcases he took into the hotel with the sandy hook shooter you knew his mental status that he had add what video games he played pictures of his parents that they were split the schools he attended and with this nearly a week out we just keep seeing a pimple-faced middle school picture and know that he was a Republican because I heard that 500 times.
Yes.
Yes, that's the one thing they've been very clear to communicate.
Lucy, thank you so much.
I appreciate it.
That is the one thing that we all know about this guy.
He is a registered Republican.
What does that mean?
We don't know that yet.
All right, we're going to take a break.
888727BECK is the phone number.
