It's a new day, a time to rise.
Welcome to the fusion of entertainment
and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
Well, hello, America.
The pandemic is not over.
We're still feeling the aftershocks, and this is a new earthquake.
In March of 2021, 25 heads of the governments and international agencies called for a new treaty that would protect the world from future health crisis.
We needed to act faster than we did.
Currently, the WHO is negotiating two documents.
One of them is the pandemic agreement known as the Accord Treaty, CA ⁇ ,
and Zero draft.
And the other is amendments to the international health regulations.
The good news is these lay out new powers for the WHO if there's a health emergency and broadens the context in which they can be used.
So
they're just, they want to cut through the red tape.
And if the WHO says, you got to shut your, your, uh, your country down, that the countries don't really have a choice.
We got to shut the...
If they say, you know, who's really hurting, it's the Trump people that are spreading this.
I guess maybe
we'd have to close all the doors for the Trump people.
I don't know exactly.
I just know this usurps
our
right to govern ourselves and our country's sovereignty.
And it is coming up right around around the corner.
We have Dr.
Kat Lindley on.
She grew up in Yugoslavia, and so she knows this kind of oppression, and she is one of the fiercest fighters against it.
We're going to get all the details in 60 seconds.
First, I want to talk to you about Jace Medical.
You know, the good people over the Chinese Communist Party, they have your best interest at heart.
They really do.
And if there were, let's say, you know, major medicine shortages throughout the United States all of a sudden, why, our good friends, the Chinese, they would just make more of it and send it as fast as they could.
Of course, now they got a lot of fentanyl coming over,
you know, so they'd have to wait in line for the fentanyl because there's a big demand for that here in the United States, apparently, and they're willing to do it and send it right to Mexico where the drug cartels can send it.
So I don't know about you.
I just don't trust the Chinese.
And unfortunately, most of our medications are made not here in America.
So I want to talk to you about the Jace case.
Jace case, you need one in your home.
It's a pack of different antibiotics that you can use to treat a host of bacterial illnesses in an emergency.
It's something you can keep in your home ready for use in a situation where you otherwise can't get the medication that you need.
And if things in the supply chain get worse, there's going to be a vast majority of vital medications.
So don't delay.
You can get all the medications your family takes.
They're adding more medications all the time you can have a year's supply worth at your house jace medical j-a-se-emedical.com jacemedical.com enter the promo code beck at checkout and keep it to yourself uh promo code is back is beck at jacemedical.com
dr cat Lind Lindley, she is a family physician and a Global Health Project co-founder and president, and she is the director of globalcovidsummit.org.
Doctor, welcome to the program.
Thank you for having me today.
You bet.
So
tell people, most people don't know anything about this.
What is the WHO doing?
So exactly as you said, they came together in 21 and decided that we need better protection from future pandemics because that's what they feel, that we
are going to have this perpetual state of
emergent pathogens and new pandemics.
What they're trying to do is negotiate at the same time two documents.
One is the treaty that they are calling an agreement currently, because they're trying a way
to get away from calling it a treaty since treaties have to be ratified in our Senate.
So this is one document.
The other one is amendments to international health regulation.
They really need to be looked at together because exactly as you said, if they are passed in May of this year by the World Health Assembly in Geneva, it would give powers to Director General in an event of public health emergency to decide that the area needs to be closed, the borders can be closed.
They can issue quarantine, isolation.
They can dictate to the member states what type of therapeutics we use, diagnostics, vaccines.
There is a huge push for more censorship of voices that don't feel the same as the World Health Organization.
There is this war on infodemics.
There is going to be a sharing of intellectual properties, more push for EUAs to approve new products.
And all in all, when you really look at the documents and read both of them, you really understand that this is an attack on the U.S.
Constitution, specifically First Amendment, Fourth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments.
Okay, good, but only only those.
Only those.
That's good.
People will say, oh, this is a conspiracy.
They're not trying to take away.
They're just trying to help.
They're just trying to help.
Well, yes, that's actually the big push that
Director General Tedros always says.
For the future generations, we must pass this pandemic agreement because we need to protect them.
And if we don't, we are failing at our jobs.
In reality you have to see that the World Health Organization is trying to position themselves to become this global health authority.
There is also something in the Article five of the pandemic agreement called One Health and One Health essentially says that the lives of humans are not more important than animal plants and everything is intertwined with the climate
So with this one health agenda, the World Health Organization would essentially have
power over
the full aspect of life on Earth.
That's fantastic.
Is the World Health Organization still in bed with the Chinese, or is that something that
can change from time to time just based on the, I don't know, the appointments of the people?
Or is this still an arm of the Chinese?
Very much so.
TENROS was actually a position with the support from China and specifically United Nations.
As you are well aware,
World Health Organization is subsidiary of United Nations.
And there is actually, it's interesting to watch both of these organizations at the same time because the UN is pushing for global governance.
and they are pushing for this CBDC, the central bank digital currency.
If you combine that with the World Health Organization push for vaccine digital passport that they have adopted from the European Union, you can really see this
possibility of reaching the social credit score system that they already have in China.
These are not conspiracy theories.
You just have to read their documents.
They lay it all there.
Yeah, they.
Are you getting any attention at all from the mainstream media?
No, mainstream media really likes this pandemic agreement.
Luckily, we are getting some support from legislators on federal level and specifically on state level.
I feel that
I listen to you all the time, so I know you're well aware of our
political landscape.
On federal level, we will have a difficult time because the Biden administration is the one pushing for most of these amendments,
and they are very much in favor of the pandemic agreement.
But on state level, we can actually protect ourselves because of the 10th Amendment.
And in New Hampshire, I testified in February on a bill HB 1156
that would not allow any jurisdiction to the World Health Organization on state level, on
county levels, and things like that.
So they are going for a full vote on the floor this Thursday.
And we need all hands on on deck.
We need everyone in New Hampshire to call their representatives because it made it out of the committee split, right?
Democrats were against this bill, and Republicans obviously understand the danger.
So we need people to call their representatives and push for this bill to be passed.
And that is in New Hampshire.
And when is that
decision that votes?
Thursday, and the bill is HB 1156.
1156.
Okay.
We'll put some notices out.
If you're in New Hampshire, please call.
This happens Thursday.
And
the 10th Amendment is the amendment that says anything that's not enumerated in the Constitution as a federal power, all of that goes back
first to the states and the people.
And
if it's not spelled out in the Constitution, then
they have no jurisdiction.
The state
can make the rules on that.
And so you're trying to use the 10th Amendment saying that there's nothing in the Constitution that says what exactly.
What are they claiming is their power?
The health care, the police power, when it comes to health care of the citizen of the state, go to the federal, I mean, to the state level.
Federal
level has no jurisdiction over the health care, the citizen.
So this is why it's important to actually push for this to protect the states
so that the World Health Organization, if they decide we need future lockdowns, new vaccines, quarantine things like that, the state agencies do not have to comply and they should not comply.
How different would COVID have been if this were in play?
Not only that, how how different the COVID would have been if the physicians were allowed to do what we know best to do.
Correct.
You know, early treatment, us really coming in first line and taking care of the people and then speaking with our agencies and our agencies listening to us.
I would say the only good thing that happened during the COVID era is that we realized that our government I know you know this, but most people didn't realize that our government is not really working for us and that there are too many strings attached with many of these agencies.
You know, someone like me, I understand what has happened because I looked at it through global eyes.
You know, build back better.
When have you had these heads of state in every country say exactly the same words, build back better?
You had me in Cologne.
That's nonsense.
Yes.
And, you know, people need to realize that this truly is an attack on national sovereignties of all the countries.
You know, I was in Croatia in December testifying in their parliament, and that's exactly what I said.
You know, Croatians need to remember who they are, love their country, and take back their power.
The same thing with Americans.
This is a country that understands freedom, that understands this is the most important thing we have in the world, and we need to take back our power.
Simple as that.
How concerned are you, just as
an individual that grew up under communism, left Yugoslavia, I think, when you were about 18,
and got to Italy and then to America to go to school.
How concerned are you with what you're seeing in just America itself?
You know, I am a true example of what American dream is.
And I have five children.
I do fear for their future.
I fear, you know, with everything that's happening, the transgender policies, we're trying to confuse our children and who they are so that they are easily controlled.
You know, I hate this bipartisan divide because we all should value what America stands for.
If you lose this country, if we lose the freedom, you know, America is a beacon of hope for so many people like myself.
And every everyone, when I speak with people around the world, everyone says, eyes are on United States.
You know, you guys, get your act together, do something.
We're letting it slip through our fingers.
And
I'm a realist, and I have to tell you, I'm afraid.
I am really afraid.
We need a complete change of leadership in November.
Every person needs to go and vote.
They need to become poll
watchers.
They need to do whatever they can to make sure that we have fair elections, that our voices are counted, and that whoever is in leadership next understands that this country is such a unique place in the world, and there is no place like this.
Dr.
Kat Lindley, thank you.
We'll talk again.
The thing that you can do right now is educate yourself.
Go to globalcovidsummit.org.
Globalcovidsummit.org.
If you live in New Hampshire, there is a vote on Bill 1156 on Thursday.
It must pass and stop the federal government from giving the state sovereignty away.
Your doctors will not be able to speak out.
Your doctors will be silenced
and we will be controlled by the World Health Organization.
Something really run by China and the United Nations.
I don't know.
I'm not really for it.
Wake up, America.
Doctor, thank you very much for joining us.
Rough Greens, if you consider your dog to be part of the family and that means love and affection, then yes,
it means more than that.
It means responsibility.
My dog Uno,
I love him so much.
I take
the responsibility for his well-being and health, and so does my wife, seriously.
And
he was just not eating.
And the big thing that I wanted from Rough Greens is, will my dog eat?
Well, he licks the bowl clean now.
And he gets the nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, probiotics, omega oils, all of the things.
If it's good for your dog, it's most likely in Rough Greens.
I thought he was getting all of this stuff, but I will tell you, I saw a massive, massive difference in my dog.

Today's newsletter,
and
really
in the last week or so,
the news, if you are somebody that wants to be prepared mentally, physically, spiritually,
you need to really pay attention to the news.
I know, because I live it, I don't want to pay attention to the news.
I don't want to read.
I listen, I used to read all kinds of nonfiction books.
I'm reading fiction books now to escape from the reality of what's really happening, just to give my brain a rest a little bit.
But you have to know what the news is because it's becoming critical because so many things are happening.
When you listen to this entire podcast or broadcast today, you'll have a scope of what's coming our way.
And in looking at today's news,
it's a straight and narrow path to be able to navigate these waters.
And I don't know if you've ever actually been
in a strait where you have to navigate through that water.
I've only done it once.
I was on a big boat.
We were in the Bahamas and we were going someplace, some pink, you know, sand island or something.
And
this large boat needed to have a boat in front of it.
And all hands were on deck because they had dug this straight out.
And so right by the shoreline was this very narrow path that the ship could go.
And if it missed anything, it would get stuck.
And so every hand was on deck and they were all looking.
off to the side and they would be shouting up to the count the to the captain five feet five feet five feet four feet
uh and it was it was a little nerve-wracking um you know not dangerous but we'd be stuck and it would our journey would be over
that's where we are
straight and narrow path straight is not spelled like a straight line a straight is very different
and it's
really difficult to navigate.
Now is the time that we need to be very, very aware of our surroundings.
You know, I said there's going to come a time where
you're going to need
the constant companion of the Holy Spirit.
And when it says, stop, turn around, go away, that's right now.
That's happening right
now.
And if you're not asking,
Should I go here?
Should I do this?
If you're not listening to that still small voice in you, start listening and obeying.
It will get stronger as you listen and obey.
Do it, no matter what it says.
Sometimes it doesn't make any sense.
Stop, you're going the wrong direction.
What?
Stop,
you're going the wrong direction.
You must start listening to that voice.
Get the newsletter.
Just today's will show you a giant cage is being made for the entire Western world.
And
these things are coming in.
All of the bars are being put in one by one.
And we're going to go through a few of them.
The World Health Organization is one.
That can happen by June.
And they know exactly what they're doing.
That's why they're calling it anything but a treaty so it doesn't have to go through the Senate.
Senate!
Glenn Beck.
So if everybody was jumping off a cliff, would you do it too?
Yeah, mom, yeah, I would.
You know, this is such an interesting phrase right now because
one of the righteous among the nations, somebody who saved Jews during World War II, told me, You don't understand.
We weren't suddenly righteous.
We didn't change.
That was the point.
We didn't change.
We just remembered what was true and tried to stop everybody else from going over the cliff.
Don't jump off the cliff with everyone else.
Change the things in your life right now that can
can buy us more time, help us in the fight, or make us better people.
Patriot Mobile is one of those things that will help slow things down.

Somebody from the Blaze just burst into the studio a few minutes ago and said, we have big breaking news.
You want to break it.
And Stu and I listened to it and we're like, wait, what?
What?
I mean, I don't even think I understand it yet.
I mean, it's like, it's crazy.
It's crazy.
So
we're trying to understand it.
And apparently
this is not any place else.
So we'll have that.
If we understand it, we don't know even the ramification.
We're like, wait, it is so bizarre.
It is so bizarre.
Strange world right now.
Good heavens.
All right.

United States faces increasingly fragile world order, says our spy chiefs.
No.
The U.S.
intelligence agency said on Monday the country faces an increasingly fragile world order.
Really?
I'm quoting them.
An ambitious but anxious China, a confrontational Russia, some regional powers such as Iran and more capable non-state actors are challenging long-standing rules of the international system as well as U.S.
primacy within it.
Oh, okay, good.
China is providing economic and security assistance to Russia as it wages war in Ukraine.
By supporting Russia's industrial base, it also warns that China could use technology to try to influence this year's elections.
China may attempt to may attempt, of course it will, China may attempt to influence the U.S.
elections in 2024 at some level because of its desire to sideline critics of China and magnify U.S.
societal divisions.
Okay,
so interesting.
So China sounds like a real problem, right?
I mean, we're debating whether or not we should have TikTok.
I mean, TikTok is an absolute nightmare.
TikTok
is waging cognitive warfare.
Remember, we talked about this?
We have the U.S.
government waging cognitive warfare on us, the citizens, and China is doing it well as well.
But TikTok is really doing a number on our kids.
The average American using TikTok spends how many minutes a day on it?
Good God.
If it's over one,
82 minutes.
Every day.
That's the average.
And each video is how long?
Like six seconds.
Six seconds.
The company Byte Dance, which is TikTok, also makes movies.
Watch carefully.
is located right by the headquarters of the Ministry of State Security.
So this is convenient because ByteDance, while streaming billions of videos onto our screens via TikTok, is also spearheading an artificial intelligence infrastructure that is run by the Chinese intelligence service.
It's not an entertainment company.
It is part of the military intelligence industrial complex of China.
And this algorithm is made to keep people
glued to their phones.
This is
the Communist Party has said that the algorithms of TikTok is a national security asset.
Interesting.
So
you have TikTok doing this.
Military strategists in China are saying we need mind superiority through perception manipulation, via propaganda, by changing how people look at the present, cutting off a people's historic memory by warping their view of their own country's past so people will be open to changing their views.
Changing the paradigm of thinking by targeting people to change the way they view problems and thereby changing their belief, deconstructing symbols, getting people to
reject certain traditional symbols and
therefore modifying a nation's identity.
We've got our own people in our own country trying to do all of those things.
When you're taking down the statues, when you're reimagining history, what do you think you're doing?
You're dismantling our narrative so we are more likely to collapse.
Here's the kicker according to the Chinese Communist Party.
The ultimate goal is to manipulate a country's values and to achieve strategic goals without an actual overt military battle.
So
they are trying
to destroy us without ever sending a Chinese bullet our way.
And we're playing footsie with them.
Meanwhile, we are also having everything built by them.
Chinese crane manufacturing company at the center of a congressional espionage investigation denied posing a threat to the United States national security.
Here's what happened.
At the seaports, China builds ship-to-shore cargo cranes.
Those are those giant cranes.
You saw Tom Cruise operating one in War of the Worlds.
You know, there's kind of like these these big, you know, U-shaped kind of devices and the crane operator sits at at the top.
Well, they found spying devices in all the cranes they were making.
And China was like, what?
You're kidding me.
Well, we didn't mean anything by that.
No, they're just spying on our ports.
I don't know.
Trojan horse sound familiar?
So I go back to what they were saying yesterday.
with the spy chiefs.
The threats reported noted that trade between China and Russia has been increasing since the start of the Ukraine war and that Chinese exports of goods with potential military use rose more than threefold since 2022.
So they're helping Russia.
They are partners with Russia.
Republican House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, an ally of former President Donald Trump, has so far refused to call on a vote that would provide $60 billion more for Ukraine.
The measure has passed the Democratic-run Senate.
Why would we want to get into a bigger war with Russia when we now know China's in bed with them and our real enemy is China?
Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns
said continued support for Ukraine would send a message to China.
Oh, would it?
It's our assessment that Chinese leader Zizhengping was sobered by what happened in Ukraine.
The crisis in Gaza is a stark example of how regional developments have the potential of broader, even global implications.
They noted attacks by the Houthi militias on shipping and said the militant groups al-Qaeda and ISIS, inspired by Hamas, have directed supporters to conduct attacks against Israeli and U.S.
interests.
Well, that sounds good, right?
We should send more money over to Iran.
After a protester interrupted the hearing with shouts about the need to protect civilians in Gaza, they turned to protecting the Palestinian enclave.
The reality is there are children who are starving.
They're malnourished as a result of the fact that humanitarian assistance can't get to them.
Whose fault is that?
Whose fault is that?
It's very difficult to distribute humanitarian assistance effectively unless you have a ceasefire.
Uh-huh.
Emotions rose in the hearing as some senators discussed immigration across the U.S.
border with Mexico.
Notice immigration is nowhere.
Nowhere.
Senator has to bring it up.
Hey, what about immigration?
And then the tensions rose.
FBI Director Christopher Wray expressed concerned.
Now listen to this because I don't understand it.
Concerned about terrorism implications from potential targeting of vulnerabilities at the border, noting rising threats from Americans inspired by Islamic groups and other foreign militants since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th.
So, are we talking about those Americans that are, I don't know, in Dearborn?
What Americans are we talking about?
Are we talking about those
damn mega, mega, monstrous, MAGA Trump supporters that are somehow or another inspired?
Who is he talking about?
Well, he said the domestic threat has gone to a whole new level.
Okay, I'm all for getting rid of extremists.
I'm all for making sure they don't hurt people.
But who are the extremists?
Because I know you never want to say the word Muslim, but anybody who believes in the Constitution seems to be on a list right now.
Also, we found out yesterday in another report that the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI,
and other intelligence agencies are working together with gaming companies to root out so-called domestic violent extremists.
Now,
okay, that doesn't sound constitutional, does it?
And
here's why I say this.
I've told you before that my son
was being groomed online, and it was through a game.
And in the days I trusted the FBI, We called the FBI.
They came over.
They caught the guy,
knew exactly who it was.
And the reason why they knew who it was is because
everything that is said on the games is recorded
everything
did you know that I didn't know that until the FBI said they needed his gaming box why
because
every conversation is recorded
So I'd just like a little more information on what the government is doing with the gaming companies?
What information are they giving?
Because the gaming companies spoke off the record.
They didn't want to be identified.
But they spoke off the record that, yeah, we're giving up information.
What information?
By the way, you know, the whole border thing, wide array of dangerous threats.
Wide array of dangerous threats.
Meanwhile, the Italian police have arrested three Palestinians allegedly planning terrorist attacks in Italy.
And what are we doing?
The DOJ, the Department of Justice, has just issued a gag order that requires immigration judges to seek department approval before speaking out publicly on anything regarding the border.
So
we're now silencing the speech, the First Amendment right of our judges.
I don't know.
Starfield, which direction is it running?
Towards freedom or away from freedom?
Back in a minute.
Car Shield.
So what's your plan when your car breaks down?
Stu, what is it?
What is it?
What is it?
Huh?
What is it?

Yeah, because you have an MG.

just be sad.
Bad.

Mike Lee on X yesterday said it's time to abolish the TSA.
Airlines can and will secure their own planes if a federal agent doesn't, if a federal agency doesn't do it for them, they'll do a better job than the TSA without undermining the Constitution and with less groping, showing more respect for passengers.
I saw this and then the comments underneath were all the same.
Oh, you're going to let a private company do it?
Yeah, you know the one airport that has a private company, I think there's only one in America that chose because they didn't trust the government,
San Francisco.
That private company is known in test after test after test to do a better job than any of the other airports that have TSA.
So, yeah, yeah, the airlines are really kind of motivated to make sure that nobody gets on that shouldn't get on.
The government, in the meanwhile, is just giving people a free pass.
Oh, you came across the border illegally.
We don't really know who you are.
Come on in.
We're going to put you on a plane.
So, yeah.
And I wonder, I haven't talked to Mike about this, but I wonder why he's suggesting this now.
Is he as concerned as I don't know, I and others are, that the state is growing so powerful and that TSA is just
another,
you know, brown shirt or jack-booted thug
organization that could spring out of whatever they're actually building in Washington?
I don't know.
I don't know.
We should have him on, but I thought that was very interesting.
By the way, one dead after the Mexican cartels opened fire on illegal immigrants who were utilizing an Uber to cross into the United States on our southern border.
Apparently,
they didn't have permission from the drug cartel.
They didn't pay the tax to the drug cartel, so they just opened fire, killed one, injured a bunch of other people.
The Border Patrol says that happens all the time.
You can't cross without the drug cartel's permission.
And thank you, Biden administration, for making all of that great stuff, including the money-making possibility for the drug cartels, the fact that they actually have laws, you know, drug cartel laws that they're enforcing, but we don't.

So an amazing,
amazing statement from a governor, the governor of Alaska, Mike Dunleavey.
He said,
the Biden administration has sanctioned Alaska more than they have Iran.
I'm going to go through some of those sanctions on Alaska
in 60 seconds.
First, realestate agentsitrust.com.
One of the things that I value the highest in my life is trust.
I work hard so people will trust me.
I want to be able to trust the people around me.
And sometimes they fail, sometimes I fail.
But it's the ones who are working hard every day to make sure that their word is their bond.
It's important when the stakes are really high.
If you're trying to
buy or sell a house, the process is so complicated.
You need to be able to trust somebody that they are actually working for you.
They're the best in your area and are going to give you the best deal and find the best deal.
Fortunately for you, I happen to own a business called Real Estate Agents I Trust, and I named it that because they first have to be people that I trust.
Let me tell you, when you trust your real estate agent, you will then have trust for the inspectors, the appraisers, the home repair contractors, the photographers.
You will be able to know you're talking to somebody who relates to the world like you do.
And my company has dedicated 100%
to pairing you up with a real estate agent that you can trust.
We have been buying and selling and helping people just like you, helping this audience for over 10 years and billions of dollars in sales.
It's realestate agentsitrust.com.

Hopefully, we don't have a problem with the time difference, but we're waiting for the Governor Mike Dunleavey
to call in from the great state of Alaska.
The sanctions on Alaska, when you look at the map of Alaska and you see what the federal government has done, it's like where you can actually be free is the size of a postage stamp.
It is remarkable what they are doing to the state of Alaska.
And meanwhile, they're just letting Venezuela, everybody else just, oh, no sanctions on you.
Go ahead.
Pump oil.
Pump oil.
Anyway, we'll talk to him as he calls in.
I guess we should update you.
There is the hearing today on the guy who gave President Biden a pass
saying, oh, you know what?
He's just
a, you know, kind old man who's just forgetful.
Yeah, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.
Yeah.
yeah.
The transcript has actually been released, and the transcript is a little shocking.
I didn't think it was shocking at all, actually.
I've watched Joe Biden for multiple years, and this is about how I think he is in private.
Now, it's weird because the
portrayal of Biden by the media, and of course, the Democrats is that when he's in public, he's a bumbling idiot, sure,
but you don't see him like we do.
When he's behind the scenes, he's always on top of everything.
In fact, it's so impressive.
None of these 25, 30-year-old aides can even keep up with the guy.
I mean, it's incredible.
This is so stupid.
And if you believe that, you literally will believe anything.
Yes.
Anything.
But I thought some of the transcript was interesting.
Can I give you some of this?
This is from the people were talking about how he couldn't remember dates.
And I think it's overblown after reading the transcript.
You make up your own mind.
Here's Joe Biden.
He said, this is from the New York Times.
This is actually the part of the New York, of the transcript the New York Times wanted you to know.
What did you know?
Occurred.
Biden, quote, well,
um,
I,
I,
I,
I,
I
don't know.
This is
what
2017, 2018, in that area?
He's uh, her answers, yes, sir.
Remember, in this timeframe, my son is
either been deployed
or is dying.
He is 2017.
2017, 2018, Glenn.
When did he die?
2015.
Oh.
Whoops.
So he's either deployed or dying in 2017 or 18.
And he says,
well, he's either been deployed or dying.
And so it was.
And by the way, there were still a lot of people at the time when I got out of the Senate that were encouraging me to run in this period, except the president.
Which is just sad that he has to admit this.
Yes, yes.
And I'm not, and that's not a mean thing to say.
He just thought that she had a better chance of winning the presidency than I did.
Says quite a bit.
The most hated woman in all of politics.
She's a better bet.
And so I hadn't, I hadn't, at this point, even though I'm at Penn, I hadn't walked away from the idea that I may run for office again.
But if I ran again, I'd be running for president.
And
so, what was happening, though?
What month did Bo die?
Oh, God, May 30.
And then all of the lawyers step in at this point.
White House lawyer, 2015.
2015.
2015.
Unidentified male speaker.
2015.
And he says, was it 2015 he had died?
Unidentified mail speaker.
It was May of 2015.
Biden.
It was 2015.
Biden's personal lawyer.
Or I'm not sure the month, sir.
I'm not sure that was the year, though.
Another person's chiming in.
That's right, Mr.
President.
It was 2015.
All these other people remember when his Biden's son died.
And he said, and what happened in the meantime is that as,
and Trump gets elected in November of 2017
question mark unidentified male speaker 2017
we have actually elections every four years yeah he doesn't know always an even number yeah you know without question he's only been in government his entire life so how would he know that that's you know of course that's just the senate um 2016 uh 2016 all right so why do i have 2017 here that's when you left office january of 2017 says the White House counsel.
Yeah, okay, but that's when Trump gets sworn in, January.
You see, he's just repeating what other people, after he's wrong, people correct him, and then he just repeats what they're saying.
And every person has seen this with an old relative, right?
Like when you're in a conversation with them, they don't know what the answer is, you tell them, and then they kind of just repeat it.
It helps them kind of,
I don't know, center themselves on what's going on.
When you don't have somebody to give you something to repeat, this is what that relative sounds like.
This is from yesterday, cut one.
Tremendous amount of things you can cut.
Let me be precise.
Tremendous amount of things you can do, not cut.
He said, I will,
but the bottom line is he's still at it.
Oh, my God.
Wow.
So you got that going for you.
Now, this is the guy who is, according to the governor of Alaska, Mike Dunleavy,
sanctioning Alaska more than he has sanctioned Iran.
Governor Dunlevy, welcome to the program.
Hey, Gwen, good morning.
Hey, good morning.
So I know it's really early for you.
Thank you for being on the program.
That's quite a statement to make.
Well, it is, but if you look at the 55, 56 actions now, compared to the 19 actions that have been set against Iran in
2005, this is 55 actions since the Biden administration came into office against one of its own states, a resource-producing state like Alaska.
And so it is serious, it is real,
and
many of us in Alaska view it as an economic war on Alaska.
So 56 executive orders and actions targeting your state.
Can you go through some of them?
Oh, absolutely.
So, for example, in 2017, under the JOBS Act that was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump, that required lease sales in Anwar, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the coastal plain area that was always up for oil production anyway.
Those leases were sold, and then under the Biden administration, they unilaterally canceled them.
That's a violation of law.
That's huge because that has one of the last remaining large oil and gas fines, probably in North America.
That was taken off the list.
Offshore oil leases in the Arctic, off the list.
13 million acres in NPRA.
Now NPRA, National Petroleum Reserve, up in Alaska that was founded over 100 years ago under President Harding, its sole purpose was to provide oil for the nation.
It was a
naval petroleum preserve at first.
And so
this is just a handful of
incidents of what we call sanctions against Alaska that make it difficult for us to produce oil,
makes it difficult for us to mine, makes it difficult for us to even get into the Tongass National Forest for timber, the largest national forest in the United States.
We really can't get into that forest to harvest timber.
This is one thing that I have not experienced, so I don't know if I understand it.
They're no longer building roads or maintaining any of the roads.
So you can't get in
to haul lumber lumber out.
And then they've also banned you from taking out
mature lumber.
Is that right?
Old growth.
That's correct.
Old growth.
And not only are they not building roads, they dismantled all of
the mills that were in Southeast Alaska.
And this happened
under the Clinton administration.
However, under President Trump, he began to restore it as an actual working force for timber, for mining, for recreation.
And then when the Biden administration came in, they once again closed it down again.
And so it's just been a series each year of different actions, different executive orders that are targeted against Alaska.
And Glenn, here's the interesting thing.
I don't think your listeners understand about Alaska.
We were the only state required at statehood in 1959 in our statehood act.
We were required to collectivize all the resources in Alaska under the government, under the state state government.
And the reason for that is those that were contemplating allowing Alaska to become a state felt it had too small of a population, about 150 to 200,000 people, to pay for itself through things like an income tax or a statewide sales tax.
So they compelled us to collectivize those resources to develop those resources to pay for ourselves.
And that's the cruel irony of this whole thing is We were allowed to come in as a state as long as we developed our resources.
And now we're being being told we can't develop our resources, which means our viability as a state is in question.
I'm looking at the map
of Alaska.
And by the way, you know this.
Alaska is far more beautiful than anybody could ever describe.
It is stunning.
And it's also enormous.
Flying over Alaska, you're like, when does this state ever end?
But
I'm looking at the map.
You maybe have,
maybe a third of Alaska is not protected now?
Pretty much.
Yes, that's correct.
And as a matter of fact,
you know, we had national parks before 1980, and in the waning days of Jimmy Carter, his gift to Alaska on the way out was to build even more monuments and wilderness areas, taking millions and millions of acres off the table for Alaska's ability once again to develop some of those resources.
And by the way, Glenn, we develop our resources, the little that we're allowed to, in probably the most responsible manner in the world.
And
what really befuddles many of us up here is the environmentalists obviously have their hooks in this administration, and they don't want to have any development in Alaska, but they're okay with it going overseas to places like Iran, to places like China, to places like Venezuela, where the environment is not protected, human rights are not protected.
And as we know in the case of Iran, they're now producing 3.74 million barrels of oil per day.
They're using some of that money to fund terrorism throughout the Middle East.
So none of it makes any sense to us.
We'll continue our conversation with the governor of Alaska
in just a minute.
Stand by.
Since data reporting began back in January of 73, there have been three instances where commercial bank credit has pulled back at least 2% from its all-time high.
First time, October 2001 during the dot-com bubble.
In March 2010, shortly after the recession, and just a few months ago, in November of 23.
Wall Street and the economy aren't intertwined.
Recessions tend to negatively impact corporate earnings, which can then send the stock market plummeting.
We have to take our economy and our problems seriously.
We're going to talk a little bit about the incredible spending bill that has just been proposed by Joe Biden.
It is
honestly, it's like the insane asylum is running everything, the inmates in the insane asylum.
It makes no sense and it will collapse our dollar.

10 seconds, station ID.
Welcome back to Governor Mike Dunleavey of Alaska.
So, how is this impacting you as a state, your state funds, and the people who do business up in Alaska?
Well,
great question.
So, what happens is
there's a chill for investment in Alaska.
In other words, outfits that would otherwise be investing in mining, oil, gas, timber, they go other places because the uncertainty caused by this administration and these actions, level against Alaska, once again, 55, I think it's 56 now, just make it such an uncertain situation that investors don't want to come here.
Our population right now is pretty much stagnant.
We haven't grown in the last
few years because of some of these actions.
We have many of our young people are actually leaving the state and going to the lower 48 48 where there's more opportunity.
And so the impact on our coffers
is going to be significant.
Right now,
we run about 490,000 barrels through our pipeline.
We were able to get Willow, the Willow project, passed or allowed to be put into play.
And so with that investment, we should get another 140,000 barrels here in the next several years.
But nonetheless, when we're looking at the midterm, Glenn, in the long term, the prospects don't look very very good for investors, don't look very good for opportunity in Alaska.
And really, what this appears to many Alaskans is an attempt to just turn Alaska into a big national park and
absolutely hamstring the viability of the state going forward.
So it's an uncertain situation which causes a lack of investment and uncertainty.
I have to tell you, if Congress doesn't take their power back and
take the unconstitutional power
away from the administrative offices,
we're not free and we have no way to fight this.
What are you doing to fight?
Well,
we've had a lawyer up, unfortunately.
We've asked our legislature the past several years
for millions of dollars in funds, what we call our statehood defense, to fight against their own federal government in order to slow down what these agencies are doing, in order to try and reverse some of the the things that these agencies are doing and so we end up spending money again against our own federal agencies our own federal government and I mean Glenn you know that the federal government has unlimited resources
like Alaska does does not and so
we're fighting them we're trying to uh enlist the help of other uh you know other states we've been talking with other uh
congressmen and senators from other states explaining Alaska's situation.
We're getting, I think, a good reception, especially from those on the Republican side.
I also have to say senators like Joe Manchin from a resource state like West Virginia has been very sympathetic to the plight of Alaska.
He understands it well.
So
we're trying to build up a group of legislators, congressmen, senators, and other governors to understand what's going on with Alaska because once it happens here, And if they're able to be successful at snuffing out
the future of Alaska in terms of a development state, state,
there's no telling where they're going to stop.
This is so concerning.
How can we help, Mike?
Well, this is, I mean, the form you're giving me right now is a great way to get this out to people.
And people need to understand that, as you said, Gwen, Alaska is a very beautiful place.
And because of that, we do take care of it.
We have some of the strictest environmental regulations there is.
The state itself put them in.
So we know how to develop our resources.
But what the Biden administration is doing is just trying to kill off the whole enterprise.
And so just letting people know, sharing the 55 actions that
Dan Sullivan, our senator, had put together on that sheet is going to be helpful.
And then we're going to be getting some congressmen and senators up here, hopefully this summer, so they can see on the ground how well we take care of the state, but also see the
impact of what the Biden administration is doing.
So, Governor, let us know how we can help
other than this.
Keep us informed on this because, as you say, they pick on the one that nobody really is paying attention to.
And if they can do this to Alaska, they'll do it to a lot of our states.
Thank you very much.
From Alaska, Governor of Alaska,
Glenn Beck.
Governor Mike Dunlevy.
All right.
Let me tell you about the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Man, the Friends of Israel seem to be dwindling.
Doesn't it feel that way?
You know, when the president says a two-state solution is the only solution, that's a little concerning that he doesn't even understand what's going on over there.
The suffering of those in Israel is not, of course, being attended to.
Nobody is paying attention.
There are real hardships now,
actual economic hardships.
People have lost their homes, etc., etc.,
in Israel.
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews are there.

I want to tell you about a couple of things.
And the first one you may not know about.
It's in today's newsletter.
It is so important.
Earlier this month, a federal judge in Alabama held the Corporate Transparency Act as unconstitutional.
And
then they granted the summary judgment against enforcement of this law.
Went into effect earlier this year.
However,
Apparently, the government is saying it only applies to the plaintiffs, not to everybody else.
What is the Corporate Transparency Act?
Does it affect you?
Well, yeah, maybe, maybe.
If you have an LLC or you are a company with fewer than 20 employees,
then this is for you.
And remember, two years in jail if you don't comply.
When Congress passed in 2021 the National Defense Authorization Act, it included the bill, the Corporate Transparency Act.
Now, remember, we're going to look at everybody's checks because we're looking for, you know, we're looking for embezzlers and people who aren't paying their taxes and everything else.
Well,
they weren't worried about people, you know, just everyday people.
Now, this is another enforcement arm, exactly like that, except this is for people, this is small business, only small business people.
Okay.
What it is,
is it forces anybody who is incorporated or has an LLC
and fewer than 20 employees to disclose personal stakeholder information to the Treasury Department's criminal enforcement arm.
So
now,
like I'm on parole, I have to report
to the criminal enforcement arm on what I'm doing with my money.
Large businesses, of course, are exempt.
The law applies only to companies with 20 or fewer employees.
Justifications for the law laid out in early versions of the legislation invoked a laundry list of alleged financial horribles, including money laundering and tax evasion, but also they added the word terrorism.
Oh,
okay.
So they're coming after, they're not doing this to shut down small businesses.
No, definitely not.
They know small businesses have nothing to do but, you know, print money.
Oh, no, that's them.
Well, we make so much money because we're a small business and we just have nothing but a whole, we have a legion of accountants.
Oh no, that's big business.
What they're doing is trying to make sure that unions are everywhere.
They're trying to put small businesses out of business.
If you lose the small business community in this country, you're toast.
So the U.S.
Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, FinCEN,
has set up an online reporting system through which business owners are required to report information to FinCEN about the individuals who ultimately own or control them.
They started compiling reports for such beneficial ownership information, BOI, on January 1st with a deadline for compliance of January 1st, 2025, or 30 days after the creation for companies registered following that date.
Is there a penalty for non-compliance?
Oh, of course there is.
Of course there is.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Civil penalties, up to $500 for every day that the violation continues.
And the person may be subject to criminal penalties of up to two years in prison and a fine of $10,000.
Wow.
I mean, that seems weird
because I didn't even know about this.
I think we talked about it at one point, maybe.
Didn't really register how many people had to be employed.
I thought that it was for companies over 20,
you know, and then no small business or no large businesses.
So I knew that scam.
Gee, I hope my accountants are aware of this.
I hope your accountant is aware of all of this
because that would be,
wow, that would be really bad.
You know, when they ran those ads
for,
you know, sign up for free health care?
And they made the free website.
Well, it wasn't free website.
Well, it was free for you to check, but it cost us, I think, $30 million to build and it didn't work.
And they put all that ads, those ads out for Obamacare.
Why did they do that?
Because they wanted everyone to know about it so you could get free stuff from the government.
But here's something that
creates criminals out of small business owners, and they're not advertising it.
Why?
What the hell is going on?
They're doing the same thing.
We just talked to the governor from Alaska.
What are they doing?
They're shutting it down bit by bit.
And if you think he's exaggerating, he's not.
The 56
actions, executive actions from Biden is shutting that down to where they'll be just a national park that nobody can go to.
What are they doing here?
They're shutting businesses down, small businesses.
Try this one.
The independent contractor rule.
What is that?
Well, that went into effect yesterday.
And that threatens anybody who is independent.
If you're a gig worker, what's a gig worker?
Well, we think of gig workers as being Uber drivers or things like that.
No, that's an independent contractor.
Anyone who works when they want to work.
You know who's a gig worker?
An independent contract?
Truckers.
Truckers are independent contractors.
Now let me ask you something.
If you're a trucking company, you have 10,000 trucks.
10,000 truckers, all of them independent,
you just hire them for gigs.
Hey, who wants to drive from here to Seattle?
Who wants it?
Put it up for a bid.
Okay, great.
You take the truck.
You can't do that.
Now they have to hire and provide
employment, employment benefits, FICA, everything else,
healthcare.
And they're now having to hire 10,000 truckers who, by by the way, are going to demand those benefits because, you know, well, the unions will be there to organize.
And the Teamsters, oh, they're a bunch of cupcakes.
They're great.
What do you think's going to happen to the trucking companies?
Do you think their trucking companies are going to grow like leaps and bounds and trucking prices will come down?
Do you think in the transition it's going to be hunky-dory for everybody?
You think you're going to have food in your grocery stores?
Where is the freedom?
Independent contractors
like it because they can choose their schedules.
They can choose their hours.
They can choose the clientele.
But if you're an employee, you are a slave to the employer.
I started the Blaze.
I'm an independent contractor for, I don't know how many companies.
I started it because I didn't want a boss.
I'm my boss.
I'll choose who I work with, who I don't work with.
By the way, just to make it even easier for independent contractors, and I'm sorry to say this.
I know, I know Minneapolis.
You know, you guys are doing your best there.
Minneapolis City Council, you are so great.
You're just helping out the people who are gig workers.
Minneapolis, the Democratic mayor and the city council have
decided that
you have to pay the Lyft and Uber drivers
more.
And
I think it's a $20 an hour or I don't remember what it is, but
you're greatly
putting
an onerous amount of
regulation on Uber and Lyft.
And they think it's going to help the drivers.
It's going to help the drivers.
Uber and Lyft have said,
we'll leave Minneapolis if that's what you make us do because we can't make money.
So we're not going to do that.
And of course, the mayor,
well, I tell you what, our yellow cabs are just as good because you can open up a phone book and find the yellow cab and just call them.
You know, you just get your rotary form
phone out, you know.
It's,
well, I don't remember the number, but the last three letters are cab.
Why are they doing that?
Why are they doing that?
I wonder if you could get a cabby union.
Wouldn't that be great?
And we could take freedoms away from other people.
I know a lot of people that work two jobs.
Some of them don't have to.
They just like, you know, when they're sitting at home and they're like, ah, you know what?
i'm not doing anything let's make some money and they they become an uber driver it's not their full-time gig
yeah i was just traveling this weekend and you know in a bunch of ubers and one mom who homeschools her kids was like this is perfect for me i i get to homeschool my kids and then at night i can go out and drive around i can do all that stuff on our own time And then my husband, you know, when he goes, he goes and does that when I have the kids.
And we're able to kind of like make a whole schedule work just based around this thing, that of course now
they're getting ripped off, they should join a union.
They didn't feel like they should.
They should be in a yellow cap.
She doesn't know.
She's not smart enough.
The people in Washington are smart enough to know.
So she can't make her own decisions for herself.
No, of course not.
The city council knows.
Okay.
Okay.
They know.
They know her life.
They know what's best for all of us.
Does anybody see the box that is being built?
And it is being built on almost every front.
And if we don't
connect
with
other people other than just us
and show them what is being built in reasonable ways by meeting people where they live,
if we lose this election, That box becomes a cage.
And America is fundamentally transformed.
You can't take out the small businessman.
You can't take out the gig workers.
You can't start just putting people in jail
and still have America?
More in a minute.
If you're living with a rain cloud of money worries over your head, let me give you some good news.
Right now, mortgage rates are in the fives, which is a lot lower than they've been in a long time.
That means something like a
mortgage refi
could be the very thing that you need to get out from that high-interest debt.
Take 10 minutes today, just 10 minutes, call American Financing.
They never charge any upfront or
hidden fees,
and that's just one of the reasons why they have like, you know, I don't know, 7,000 Google reviews that are 4.7
rating as the average.
I've been a fan of American Financing for a very, very long time.

The Glenn Beck program
will be right back.
Looking at this budget, President Biden unveiled his election year budget pitch Monday calling for $5.5 trillion tax increases by raising rates on the wealthy and corporations, while spending $7.3 trillion on defense, federal benefit programs, affordable housing, student debt cancellation, among other proposals.
So I'm just trying, because he is going to spend $7.3 trillion in one year.
That's what the budget is calling for.
And that seems in line with just another typical massive spending increase.
Like in 2023, we spent 6.1 trillion.
So what were we spending in 2019?
$3 trillion.
You don't want to know that.
Yeah, that's like $3 trillion.
Glenn, I don't think you want to know that answer.
What was it?
It was $3.5 trillion in 2019.
$3.5.
We have doubled.
That's a lot, by the way.
I don't even know.
I mean, I want to make sure I understand.
This is not...
I'm not happy with $3.5 trillion.
No, no, no, no.
I know that.
That's when we were saying we need to cut the budget when it was 3.5.
We were saying it long before that, but yes.
Yes, yes, yes.
Now it's 7.3 is the proposed budget.
From 3.5 to 7.3.
They've doubled the size of spending.
And this isn't exactly right, but basically that's doubling the size of government.
Yes, it is.
I mean, it's a nice way.
It's not exactly right, but most of these programs do require the government to expand.
So it's mainly in hiring and
government projects done by government people.
And a 5.5 now.
Wait, wait, hold on one second.
I may have mistaken that.
You said revenues or you're saying outlays.
So with spending, we spent four.
I should be clear.
We didn't actually spend what we took in.
We took in $3.5 trillion in 2019.
We spent 4.4 trillion.
So it hasn't quite doubled yet.
It's only up like, what, 70%?
So sorry
if I misstated that.
From a high, an all-time high,
to almost doubling it.
Now, he's calling for $5.5 trillion in new taxes, and he promises none of that will come to you.
Of course not.
The Glenn Beck program.
We have Mike Row in coming in just a second.
It's good to have him here.
He's probably a big fan of American Giant.
American Giant is a company that believes in making things here in America.
And they rescued a company about 13 years ago.
It's a clothing factory in North Carolina.
It was closing down.
The guy who runs American Giant was like, that can't happen.
We've got to make clothing here.
And they understand that
when they bought the factory, they put new equipment in they trained everybody that helped the community thrive gave people a sense of
of honor and integrity american dash giant.com slash glenn see the integrity with every stitch every bit of ink every piece of clothing all of it made and assembled here in america american giant go there now american dash giant.com slash glenn

Welcome to the fusion

This is the Glenn Beck Program.
Hello, America.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
This hour, the one, the only, Mike Rowe, joins us.
I'll bet he has a lot to say about, you know, what's going on in America and with our jobs being shut down, with the government coming after
gig workers, et cetera, et cetera.
I don't know.
Oh, and colleges.
That's a good idea to send your kid right to college, especially an Ivy League college that they'll never pay off and they won't have a job to go to after they get that degree.
We're going to hear his point of view here in just a second.
I'm wondering if he disagrees with any of that.
Tunnel to Towers Foundation is our sponsor this half hour.
Tunnel to Towers' mission is to do good and make sure that we never forget the horrific events of September 11th.
That was 2001, kids.
In case you didn't know, ask your parents what it was.
It means never forgetting the soldiers and first responders who put their lives on the line then and ever since.
The foundation is committed to helping these heroes and their families and heroes like retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Michael Cardoz.
This guy served his country for 20 years, two decades, received tons of accommodations including a bronze star.
During his time overseas, he was exposed to the toxic burn pits and he contracted cancer and died.
Tunnelled a towers stepped in and paid off the mortgage for his family's home, enabling his widow and their six children to stay in the home.
This is really what they do best.
The foundation helps Gold Star families and the families of fallen first responders here in the States, as well as catastrophically injured heroes and homeless veterans.
This is really
a group of people that do good and 95%.
95 cents on every $1 that you would donate goes directly to these guys.
That's an astounding high percentage.
Donate $11 a month, will you, to Tunnel to Towers at t the number two t dot org t2t.org
friend of the program, Mr.
Mike Rowe.
How are you?
First of all,
with regard to your sponsors,
excellent choices.
Thank you.
I love this foundation.
And at the risk of just shameless pluggery and wanton capitalism.
This is an American giant shirt.
Oh my gosh.
I have that shirt.
I have that shirt.
I think you wore it last time I was here and I thought, what are the odds that we'd show up looking like the Bobsy twins?
But you know Bayard.
He's a friend of mine.
I love him.
And I've had him on my podcast and he's featured in a new book that you'll love if you haven't seen it.
It's called Flannel.
Yep.
And it's all about what it really takes to make this shirt.
Shockingly difficult.
It is amazing, brother.
I mean, I know you know that.
You gave me a shirt 10, 11 years ago when you were doing what was it, 1791.
Yeah, I still have it.
It was like a canvas work shirt.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And ever since then, man, I've been obsessed with trying to better understand the drama and the trauma of getting textile manufacturing back in this country.
It's mind-boggling.
If companies like Levi's would do 5%
of
their manufacturing here in America, America would change.
Yep.
It would change.
For sure.
No interest in it at all.
I mean, when you really start to peel back the layers, and this is, I don't know if this is on your agenda of stuff to talk about, but it is,
I just did a whole thing on the toothpick.
Like the business, we used to be the toothpick capital of the world.
We were very proud of it.
It was a giant industry up in Maine, you know, white birch.
I mean,
the book on it is amazing.
And when you slowly see the way that we basically gave up on toothpicks, you can start to understand the way we gave up on textiles.
And then you start asking questions like, well, what hope does Detroit really have?
Like, if we can't get the splinter right, if we can't get a shirt right, right?
So there are no small things.
Anyway, what American Giants doing, I think, is.
I think it matters because
they're 13 years at it now, right?
So that's, you know, good for you for having them on.
They're great.
I I love them.
I love them.
So, Mike, let's just talk about the state of the world because we are being boxed.
If you're a small business guy, you have under 20 employees, you now have a Transparency Act where you'll spend two years in jail if you don't tell the federal government, the Treasury Crimes Division,
everything that they want to know.
I don't know how much that's going to cost the small businessman
in just time alone.
Plus, you have the PRO Act, which has now just been done through the Department of Labor.
We don't vote on anything anymore.
It's just a new guidelines.
Guidelines.
Yes, yes, new guidelines.
And
what is that going to do to, when we think gig economy, we think, you know, Uber drivers, et cetera.
No, no, no.
Truckers alone.
Will we have groceries at our stores?
50,000 in California alone.
50,000.
I had a guy on my podcast called Tom Odom, who's one of these truckers, and he's been written about in the press, and I was just so interested in his story.
In fact, I interviewed him while he was in his truck driving across the fruited plain, you know, and he just pulled over, and we had this amazing conversation.
But people,
I like to talk about it in terms of unintended consequences, but I realize now that I might be giving too much credit.
Way too much credit.
Right.
But look, I'm trying to stay in whatever lane is left to me.
But when I first saw it,
it's getting narrow.
It's very nice.
It's getting narrow.
When I first saw this thing rear its ugly head, it was,
to your point,
aimed toward the gig economy in Silicon Valley, mostly Uber and Lyft.
And then it just grew and grew and grew.
Graphic artists, writers, cinematographers, dancers,
so many people.
And I'm like, how many are actually going to be impacted?
And then the question was, how many people are actually freelancing right now?
And the answer is north of 70 million in the whole country.
And so what the drafters of AB5 asked us to believe initially was that huge numbers of workers were being shamelessly victimized by greedy and rapacious capitalists who should have hired them as employees and therefore
opened the door to benefits and so forth.
Now, did that ever happen?
Yeah, I suspect.
It's a big country and there's exceptions to every rule.
But the number of people who were adversely affected prior to this versus the number of people who have now lost the freedom to work the way they want is mind-boggling.
And it happened in California, of course.
And to your point, it's happened and is happening right now.
And when people realize what this means, you know, you want to set your own schedule?
Forget it.
You want to eat what you kill?
Forget it.
We don't want to think that way anymore because
that person might fail.
And if that person fails, well, then the narrative goes, we just can't tolerate that.
I'm sure you've been to Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
I was just over there for the first time, and
the new king was in the castle.
And he's got this whole wing by himself, and he lands his giant helicopter right there in his backyard.
And I've never been, like I've been to, you know, the American castles, and I've never had a problem with it.
Never.
I walked through that castle, and it pissed me off the entire time because I thought, there is no one in this country that could ever build this except the one who's cornered the market.
You know, know, there's no opportunity, none to actually become something because the government has you so pigeonholed and people just accept it.
And I don't want to be like that.
I don't want to live in that kind of country.
You know, if there's no risk, there's no reward.
Well, there's the four-letter word, right?
Risk.
I guess risk and maybe debt are the only four-letter words right now that I think are truly for sale.
You know, we have to have honest conversations about both of those things.
The willingness to accept risk is the fundamental bedrock of freelancing.
Right.
And not everybody is willing to take that risk.
Some people just want a stable job.
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Nothing wrong with that.
It's so similar.
I think the reason this thing has become such an issue for me is because it
translates perfectly into a four-year education versus a trade school.
This idea that we have to put our thumb on the scale, this idea that one has to be elevated at the expense of the other is precisely what's informing the PRO Act.
We're not saying
that
it's good to be an employee.
We're saying it's so good that if you don't do that, then you're doomed.
You are engaging in a level of behavior that's so risky, you're actually posing some sort of existential threat, not just to yourself, but to your family, to your neighbor, and so forth.
So
it's amazing how we can't simply put all the options on the table and let the grown-ups decide what fits best.
I got to tell you, you say even in today's world, where universities are taking our children and molding them into the exact Woodrow Wilson said, the job of a university is to make a man the most unlike his father as possible.
That was his goal.
And that's really kind of the goal now, I think, in many, in many places.
And so many people will say, because I've got two teenagers, are they going to go to college?
No, probably not.
One of them, maybe.
The other one, trade school, maybe.
Don't know.
Don't know.
It's going to be up to them.
And what is the value of a big, expensive $250,000 education if you're not going to use it?
If you don't have something, if you're just like, well, I think I'm going to do this.
A, the world is changing so fast.
We don't know what jobs are going to be there.
I worry that.
Like, I'm the product of a liberal arts education.
I got one.
It served me well.
I'm glad I got one.
Did it lead directly to my chosen field?
No, it did not.
But it comes in handy every single day.
And mine consists of two years at a community college and another couple of years at a university.
And when I finished in 84, the whole thing cost $12,200, all of it.
Today, same schools, same course loads, $92,000.
Now, nothing in the history of this country has increased faster than the cost of a four-year degree.
Bitcoin.
Bitcoin.
Bitcoin.
Well,
but then fallen and then back and then.
Right.
I mean, look, it's, but, but, I mean, really, if you look at healthcare, if you look at real estate, if you look at food, and if you look at energy, the big four, those things have all been eclipsed by the cost of a four-year degree.
But still, we can't help ourselves.
Still, we've told this whole generation, if you don't get one, you're screwed.
Right.
And that's criminal.
It's a shame because my liberal arts education right now is on this thing.
All of us.
I've got access to 98% of the note information right now for free.
Yeah.
Okay.
But still, still we charge.
During lockdowns, Columbia raised their rates.
NYU raised their rates.
And we still paid it.
Right.
So, look, it's easy to look at the Ivy League, especially now, and point to all sorts of embarrassments.
But it's not even about that.
It's just this bigger thing that's happening where a whole chunk of our workforce is tied to a whole chunk of our education system
that has become the proximate cause of derision.
I said to my son, where did you learn that?
He said,
I can audit a course at MIT
online.
Oh,
okay.
Yeah.
I mean,
you have the opportunity unlike any human has had, and yet it's a bad thing.
I want to talk a little bit about what you're doing with Microworks here in just a second.
First, let me tell you about pre-born.
Nearly 65 million innocent have been aborted since Roe versus Wade.
Now that Roe is gone in some states, and this drives me out of my mind,
it's up to the voters.
in each state.
That's what the Supreme Court said.
It doesn't belong in the hands of a bunch of guys in black robes.
Let the people decide in each state.
That's what that's about.
Anyway,
we can't erase the past, but we can do what we can do.
The Ministry of Pre-Born is working on this every day.
And what they do is they introduce an expecting mother to her unborn baby through free ultrasound.
It doubles the chance that she's going to choose life.
Here's the amazing thing.
For so long, people have been shouting, baby killer, baby killer.
68% of the moms who have abortions, they don't want to have one.
They just feel alone and trapped and don't know what to do.
And many times they are alone.
And they just,
what do we do?
They regret it.
68% wish they didn't do that.
Okay.
So why don't we love the mom and help her out and be there for her first two years?
Make sure we give them all the baby clothes and the books and the help and the food, whatever they need.
Let's be there for mom.
We save two people: the baby and mom.
One ultrasound is $28, or $140 will help rescue five baby lives.
Abortion doesn't stop, so we can't either.
Just dial pound250 on your cell and say the keyword baby.
That's pound250, keyword baby, or go to preborn.com/slash beck.
Preborn.com/slash beck, sponsored by pre-born.
10 seconds station ID.
So your big push for a long time is you can go to college, but you don't need to go to college.
That's right.
And you've been, I mean, you know, started with dirty jobs.
Now
you are, I mean,
your foundation has raised a ton of money.
How many people are you putting through college?
So far, we've got close to 2,000 who we've helped master a skill that's in demand.
Microworks began really just as a PR campaign in 2008.
Dirty Jobs was at its absolute height.
The whole country seemed to be unemployed, but everywhere we went, we saw these help-wanted signs, so it seemed pretty clear there was some other narrative going on.
And this idea that you could fix unemployment by simply creating more jobs was actually a canard.
Today we have close to 10 million open jobs.
We've got $1.7 trillion in student loans.
And we're still sending the same basic message that we always have.
This path is the best.
Everything else is going to lead to some sort of vocational consolation prize.
So that PR campaign morphed into a trade resource center, and now we're a scholarship fund.
We've raised about $9 million and given it out.
You're doing another million this year, aren't you?
Right now as we speak.
Yeah, microworks.org.
If anybody's listening with a kid or a grandkid or you yourself want to learn a skill that's in demand, demand, we can help and we have helped.
But it's really a means to an end, Glenn.
The scholarship program in and of itself is great.
But what it's done for me is it's given me a chance to circle back and talk to people who five, six years ago got a welding certificate with our help or a plumbing, right?
And when you ask them the question today, how's it going?
You get amazing answers.
Like, now some of them are still plumbing.
They're in a strong union hang on just a second still plumbing do you know what plumbers may you do i do plumbers make a really good living if they bust their ass they make a really good living and if you're back to that freelance model we were talking about yeah you can work as much as you want you can set your own schedule you and you are busy i know a lot of guys both electric plumbing uh heating and air conditioning you can basically work anywhere in the country right now i have to tell you i had some, I was building a house and I had the plumbers there and I was talking to him.
The guy's like, I can't get anybody to help me.
He's like, I'm aging out soon.
I don't have to do this.
He said, I've been trying to get all the kids in my family to, hello, good living here.
Here's the math.
For every five tradespeople who retire this year, two will replace them.
Jeez.
That's been happening for 15 years.
Now,
you know where this is going.
Right.
In fact, we're here right now.
It's happening right now.
So what I'm trying to do with my little slice of the internet is make sure I can tell the stories of the people that I just described.
Because, I mean, I can tell a decent story, but I'm not persuasive to a 25-year-old or a 20-year-old.
They need to see somebody who looks like them and talks like them, who is living debt-free.
and making $150,000 a year.
And I've got a long list of those people and they are very persuasive.
So, you know, going back to your first question, you know, how do I feel about the country?
What do I think needs to happen?
I've got a list of things.
But for me, somewhere near the top is a persuasive campaign.
And that's not even the right word, but we need persuasive voices talking in a credible way about the value of all forms of education and the absolute criticality of not ignoring the part of our workforce that keeps these lights on because it's only a matter of national
security.
National security.
It really is, man.
And so, and so, look, here's the good news.
And I'm not sure it's good.
You know, sometimes things need to go splat, right?
We've talked about this before.
And so rather than just having a conversation about, okay, this company's trying to hire skilled tradespeople and they can't.
And these people over here don't have a skill.
We should get them together.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's happening.
But now the real conversation is how long do you, Glenn, Glenn, want to wait for a plumber?
How long does Stu want to wait for an electrician when the lights aren't coming up?
There's a Simpsons on this very thing that I thought.
There's a Simpsons on everything.
Yeah, there is.
There is.
And a South Park, too.
Okay, where do people go if they want to find out more about the scholarships?
Microworks.org.
We're always open.
We'll be taking applications through the middle of April.
We'll give away a million bucks in this tranche, and we'll probably do it again later this year.
But, you know, baby steps, man.
You got to push the boulder up the hill.
Micro, always pushing the boulder up the hill.
Thank you.
Anytime.
Glenn, back.
So, Jim, who lives in Arizona, he wrote in and he said, I got to tell you, I used to have extreme lower back pain.
Nothing that I tried really ever touched it.
Then I heard about Relief Factor, tried to give it a, you know, decided to give it a try.
Relief Factor works so well and so quickly.
It eliminated the pain, allowing me to function better than I had before.

The promo code is Glenn.
Welcome to the Blood Beck program.
We're glad you're here.
I asked Mike to hang around for a few more minutes because we were just having some great conversations off the air about, you know, the state of the world.
And, you know,
isn't it crazy how many great conversations you have during the break?
Yes.
Like in the course of your career.
Yeah.
Like if you could somehow string all those together.
I know.
What a special that would be.
Yeah, it would be good.
It would be good.
Career ending.
I tend to save those for on the air, quite honestly.
Are you as sick of the hippies as I am?
I don't, you know, you can,
sure,
but you can erase hippies.
Anybody who didn't get the memo regarding the time to leave the party.
Yeah.
I don't understand.
Well, I mean, I do understand.
I understand inertia and I understand fear and I understand all of the things that keep us in the well-worn path.
But we do seem to have forgotten that part of the political deal is you come in, you make your promises, you do your thing, you do your best, you thank everybody, you know, for their indulgence, and then you leave.
And you leave.
Go and you do a farm.
Go back to whatever.
You don't leave.
I mean,
best story of any president leaving office, Harry Truman.
I love this.
He hasn't driven in years, okay, because he was vice president.
Before that, he was a, I think he was a senator.
And so he comes in and
Bess is with him, and they pack up their clothes, and they just put it in the trunk of his old Buick.
Yeah.
And he drives, and he stopped on the highway.
Okay.
Right.
And the police come and Bess, he's driving Bess out of his, my, out of her mind because he's not the best driver.
And he's, you know, can you step on it a little bit?
Finally, lights come on behind him.
And cop comes up and said,
registration, Mr.
President?
And he says, yes.
And she leaned over him
to look at the cop and said, Would you please tell him to speed up?
It was the first time he had ever driven on the highway.
And he just went back and that was it.
That's great.
That was it.
Now presidents and senators, congressmen, they just embed themselves and enrich themselves.
And it's, I hate it.
Well,
I think it's part of why so many people have just a general sense of,
it's not even frustration, it's dread.
There's a sense of dread happening.
And part of it, I do believe, has to do with the fact that nobody got that memo.
No one knows when to leave.
No one wants to leave, it seems.
And I would say that equally on
both sides.
I mean, imagine being 23, 24, 25 years old and flicking around and just seeing these ancient bipeds just standing there as if they've been wound up going through motion after motion after.
It's just,
they dare you to care.
They wear you down.
Yeah, they do.
They dare you.
It's like in the last segment, we were talking about the PRO Act and all that.
They dare you to open a business.
They're double dog daring you.
And to the point where when you do find somebody who's willing to hang out a shingle or you do find somebody who's willing to run in an environment like this, you have to ask yourself, what's wrong with them?
Why do I have my tongue stuck on a flagpole?
It's what you feel like all the time.
Yeah.
So,
I mean, I wouldn't give the keys to my car to most of these people.
I mean, that's my test.
Would you give your keys to your car if they were at your house and they're like, I gotta run it over.
Of course not.
Of course you wouldn't.
You wouldn't give it to Mitch McConnell.
You wouldn't give it to any of them.
Nope.
And yet.
And yet we sit here appalled, aghast, and we just watch it.
Yeah.
It's happening in front of us, and we just watch it like the townspeople and Hans Christian Anderson's great story,
the emperor's new clothes.
We're just standing there waiting for somebody to go, hey, wait,
he's too old.
Yeah.
And not with age for entirely different reasons.
These two candidates that we have are so polarized.
And I think the average, help me out on this.
I think the average person is sick of it.
They don't want to hate their neighbor.
They don't want to argue.
They just want to be left alone and just, can we just not all just get along here, please?
You don't want to walk into a restaurant and be handed a menu.
And you don't want to look at the menu and see something that you're deathly allergic to and then something that in the past has only ever made you vomit.
Okay.
You don't.
You don't want these choices, right?
Now, I say this with great respect to both candidates because, of course, they have their supporters, obviously, but in a giant general way, I think the country might be saying, really?
This is my party.
Is this the best my party can do?
This is my party.
Is this the best that party can do?
This is it.
This is what we've done.
I don't think it's an allergic reaction.
I prefer the...
description of, you know, you open the menu and it's a pile of dead bodies and a pile of crap.
And you're, and they're like, sir.
You got to have one of them.
You got to eat one of them.
Have you tried the crap?
No, the way we prepare it, it's really, really good.
At least it's not a dead body.
Look, again,
I'm certainly not trying to make trouble with either individual.
I'm saying that as a country.
You know, I think that's the way we feel.
Right.
It's like, what happened to my restaurant?
What happened to this menu?
What's happened?
Who moved my cheese?
Everything just like, it's like an episode of punct.
Everyone's just kind of looking over their shoulder for the camera because surely, surely this must be some giant farce that's unfolding.
It is, I think, impossible to
be the Babylon bee.
I mean, how do you
I mean, the stuff that we talked about today, you're like,
I mean, this would have been a joke.
That's right.
Five years ago, I would have written that as the punchline.
Yeah, well, you know what?
You know, pretty soon they'll start.
And they're doing it.
They're doing it.
Hey, God bless the Vatalon B.
Oh, I know.
Right?
I mean, there was a time when the onion picked up that load, and then they dropped it.
And then the B came along.
Saturday Night Live?
Woof.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
But, you know, good news.
Saturday Night Live.
actually had what was his name he was the uh guest host oh shane gillis yeah last week or week before weeks ago Yeah.
I mean, and
he was actually funny and said things that you're not supposed to say anymore.
Single best Trump impersonator I've ever heard.
Oh, yeah.
I mean,
he's awfully good.
Yeah.
But, you know, I mean, you know, the one candidate that wouldn't be hard to impersonate is RFK.
He would be.
I think that would just get tiring.
I mean, no offense to him or anything else.
And not talking about his politics.
Just,
wow, that would be hard to listen to in an an hour-long state of the union.
You know, it's funny.
I was, I met him here in Dallas, actually, about six months ago.
Just ran into him, and then
we had a conversation on the other side.
Where does one run into RFK?
Well, we were in a studio.
I was going into a studio over at TBN,
and he was coming out.
And we kind of triangulated some things.
And he said, you want to get together sometime and have a chat?
And I said, actually, I'd love to.
I don't know if you knew this.
I wrote an open letter to Barack Obama in 2008 and a very similar one to Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump.
Didn't really do any good, huh?
Well, you know, it's funny.
I've had a different experience with all of them.
But the point of the letter and the point of my meeting with RFK was really to talk about the foundation, to talk about work ethic, and to talk about the need on some national level to make a more persuasive case for all this stuff.
Yeah.
And what are your thoughts on him?
I think he's saying some things that the other guys aren't.
I like the idea that,
well, I don't like it.
I hate it.
I hate the idea that when we get to 50 trillion in the hole, the party's over.
There's no way we can service that kind of debt, and there's no plan, it seems.
You know, what is the problem with that?
We have less than a minute.
What is the problem with that?
Is it that we just don't think we're going to ever have to pay it?
It's like a dream.
It is.
It's like falling down the stairs in slow motion.
Yeah.
If we get there, for sure, there's just no math in the world that's going to allow us to be a country, right?
And I think it's important to talk about that.
I like Woody talks.
I like ending the forever wars.
I think it makes sense to have that conversation.
It's amazing how the left and the right have switched places.
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
I like the whole war on obesity and chronic disease and diabetes and all the trillions of dollars that are pulled in there.
I think he says things that are going to make a lot of people nod their head.
Now, we don't see eye to eye on the environment.
Right.
And there's a list of stuff, but it's another menu item.
Right?
Yeah, yeah.
They're in the same restaurant, but it is
a different menu item.
Micro, thank you so much.
Microworks.com.
All right.

You're listening to the swinging sounds of Glenn Beck.
Sit tight, boys and girls.
We'll be right back after these messages.
This is unbelievable.
They're questioning the guy who came out and said, you know,
I have testimony from the president.
You know,
he was a little befuddled and, you know, seemed like a nice old man with a bad memory.
They're now saying that he did that to hurt Biden's credibility.
And they're doing it by saying, remember when they said that he couldn't remember when Bo died?
He didn't even know when his son died.
That's what the left is saying.
That's not true.
He did.
And they're releasing
it was 2015 from president.
They have that in the transcript.
Which is part of the transcript.
Yeah.
It was 2015.
When your son...
It was 2015.
Okay.
That's that line.
Stu, do you care to read the previous lines?
Oh, I'd love to.
You mean like when he says, well, this is what, 2017, 2018 in that area?
Remember, in this timeframe, my son is either been deployed or is dying in 2017 or 2018, he says.
Okay.
Then the White House lawyers correct him and say, no, it was 2015, 2015.
Biden says, oh, was it 2015 he had died?
Yes, it was May of 2015.
Then Biden says, it was 2015.
That's where they pick up the transcript.
That's crazy.
They pick it up after he says 2018 was maybe the time.
Skip to the part where he doesn't know when he was vice president.
Somebody must have been packing this up, put it in a box because I didn't do it.
And Herr says, okay, do you have any idea where this material would have come from and where it got moved into the garage?
Biden says, well, if it was 2013,
when did I stop being vice president?
Lawyer says, 2017.
Oh, so I was vice president.
It must have come from vice president stuff.
That's all I can think of.
Another section, Biden says, my problem was I never knew where any of the documents or boxes were specifically coming from or who packed them.
Just did I get them delivered to me.
So this is, I'm at this stage in 2009.
Am I still vice president?
His question.
Am I still vice president?
In 2009.
Now, you might might remember him beginning his time as vice president in 2009.
He's asking, was I still vice president in 2009?
He's not saying, was I vice president yet?
Right.
Which he should know.
He's asking if he's still the vice president in 2009.
It would have been better if he said, was I vice president yet?
But it's like everyone, Barack Obama, 2008 election.
Like everyone would know that.
Now, you might know that, but that's not necessarily what Biden knew.
He actually talked about trump being elected in november of 2017 because he didn't know it was 2016 or 2017.
um
but i will say this article from the new york times does summarize it well uh that
he was clear-headed most of the time
now is that the first of all is that the standard that we're looking for as president no Do you get a driver's license
if you're coherent, clear-minded most of the the time.
Now, first of all, no, but do you want a president who's clear-headed most of the time?
And is it part of like, is that the standard we're looking for?
Like, hey, most of the time he's coherent?
Like, no.
And then this is the evidence, though, is dramatic.
And I will say this, Glenn.
The evidence they present that he was clear-headed most of the time is convincing.
It will persuade you that he's fine.
Here it is.
When Mr.
Biden provided a lengthy description of the layout of his house in Delaware,
Mr.
Hur observed that Mr.
Biden appeared to have a photographic understanding and recall of his house.
Oh, of his house.
So he remembered what his house looked like, which proves he was clear-headed and most of the time.
And photographic memory.
I got to tell you, he's lived in that house for how many decades?
Many.
Yeah, many decades.
I don't know.
And how, I mean, you know, I've lived in my house for under a decade.
And I got to tell you, sometimes I walk around like, where's the bathroom?
Right.
Who can know?
And I just, I lift up the seat of the couch and I go to the bathroom there.
And my wife says, what are you doing?
And I'm like, what?
Is this not the bathroom?
Is this not the toilet seat?
And she's like, no, it's the living room.
And I'm like, I can't tell the difference.
I get lost.
I don't know.
It happens to people all the time.
The other day I just heard this like knocking, knocking, knocking, knocking over and over again.
My wife was just walking into the wall.
over and over and over again, thinking there was a hallway there, but actually, no, no, no, there was a wall.
Wow.
And it's just typical for me.
You don't have a photographic memory, and neither do I.
I don't.
How do you
usually apparently?
The average person needs a map for their own house.
Do you actually get credit for remembering what your house looks like now?
That's where the media is.
The media is like, hey, he did a great job remembering his own home.
They were kept there in the garage, which is right off the kitchen.
But again,
does he have a photographic memory of his own house?
He didn't know any of these documents were there.
Of course, now we know he did know they were there, but he didn't know what was in the boxes.
So that's not really a photographic memory, even of his own house.
The Glenn Beck Program.
