Filling in for Glenn, Justin Barclay discuss another transgender athlete making waves at the college ranks for finding success as a woman, after no notable accomplishments as a male athlete. Riley Gaines joins the program to weigh in and talk about the response by female athletes that she has seen. Speaker Johnson continues to get backlash from the left for having the nerve to suggest that porn might be a terrible thing for he and his son to view, and they need to hold each other accountable. Ron DeHaas joins the program to discuss the fight against pornography, especially when viewed by minors. Justin discusses the latest fight against a Chinese virus infecting their hospitals... are we going to go through COVID-Part 2? Maybe not, as Justin explains what is really happening, as well as the fight back against enemy agents trying to infiltrate at the local levels with former Ambassador Pete Hoekstra. Just how corrupt has the American justice system gotten? Are we really living in a banana republic? Julie Kelly joins Justin to discuss how radical some judges have been to defendants in the January 6th trials, as well as to just conservatives in general. How is protesting the death of a five-year old girl who was stabbed by an immigrant considered "far-right"? Jonathon Dunne joins Justin from Ireland to discuss the way the protests in Dublin are being covered by the media at large versus what truly is going on. Justin also discusses the latest from Israel, as 25 hostages have been released, yet none of them are the Americans still trapped overseas.

Speaker 2 Welcome into the Glenbeck program. And yes, it is the day after Thanksgiving.
It is Black Friday. In fact, they've got a new nickname for this day that I wasn't even aware of.

Speaker 2 And we'll fill you in on that. It has to do with

Speaker 2 something that everyone may be experiencing record numbers today. It's Justin Barkley live from Michigan today of

Speaker 2 three full hours out of Detroit and West Michigan.

Speaker 2 It's Detroit's News Talk Superstation 9, 10 a.m. And in here in Michigan, West Michigan.
Grand Rapids, it's News Radio Wood 1300, 106,9 FM. So we've got lots of ground to cover.

Speaker 2 Today, Riley Gaines joins us. You know, they've got another record breaker.

Speaker 2 Another one of these record breakers that he's swimming in sports for men just, I don't know, just days prior, switches over to the women's category.

Speaker 2 And there

Speaker 2 he is.

Speaker 2 or she is, what now? Megan.

Speaker 2 Megan.

Speaker 2 Breaking records. Riley Gaines

Speaker 2 out there

Speaker 2 trying to explain it all. And she'll join us coming up on the program about a half an hour from now.

Speaker 2 But also, we're going to hear from Julie Kelly, who if you don't know who Julie is, she's at the forefront of all of the reporting that's happening right now.

Speaker 2 It's been arduous, but she's been in courtrooms. She's been watching the judges.

Speaker 2 She's been reporting on all things January 6th and even some of the cases that President Trump is having to deal with right now.

Speaker 2 She's going to join us with a little bit of an update later on in the program. The latest, you know, we heard that these

Speaker 2 videos were going to be the

Speaker 2 latest

Speaker 2 batch coming, some of the new stuff coming out, and then some of the things that we've we've already seen, but she's

Speaker 2 going to walk us through it all and what we can maybe expect coming in the days ahead is

Speaker 2 MAGA Mike Johnson.

Speaker 2 At least I think that's what they're calling. Democrats now call him Mega MAGA Mike Johnson.
He's released some of the latest tapes. And the story that

Speaker 2 this stuff paints,

Speaker 2 the picture that it paints,

Speaker 2 it really is fascinating because it's turning some heads. And I think some of us are starting to get a better read on what's going on.
But first, first, let's start here. The Rainbow Bridge.

Speaker 2 Did you see this just the day before Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 And probably a day before Pattons 2 were wrapping things up. I was that day, wrapping things up, and this story breaks just later on in the afternoon.
A car explodes.

Speaker 2 The Rainbow Bridge. This is a bridge that goes, I guess, over into from America into Canada at Niagara Falls.

Speaker 2 It is an interesting area. One like

Speaker 2 very similar to where I am right now. We have a Detroit Windsor crossing.
We have a bridge and there's a tunnel that goes under and over the Detroit River and then into Canada.

Speaker 2 And I've been through and

Speaker 2 that crossing, I've done the bridge and I've done the tunnel and they're building a new bridge right now.

Speaker 2 But there's so much traffic that comes through. Do you know that it is like when you're going into Canada specifically? it is like, I mean, they are going to inspect you with a fine-tooth comb.

Speaker 2 They are going to poke you. They are going to prod you.
They're going to ask you about things that you may have posted online 10, 20 years ago. I don't know.
I mean, they dig deep into your past. So

Speaker 2 it's wild what happens to get over into Canada.

Speaker 2 Coming into the United States, I don't know if it's as tight. We know that we've got issues with our southern border.

Speaker 2 That's obvious. We got millions of people coming across every single day.
There's more and more coming, pouring across every day.

Speaker 2 Wide open. We got a Biden administration out there lifting up razor wire, cutting it first, right? And then they were told by court, you can't do that, that the governor in Texas is laid out.

Speaker 2 Then you've got the Biden administration. Oh, so we can't cut it.
Okay, well, we'll just lift it up with a bulldozer. Yeah, that's great.
So border's wide open.

Speaker 2 And meanwhile, they've got a terrorist alert. I don't know if you saw this, but

Speaker 2 governor of

Speaker 2 New York, fully aware of it. CBS, I think, had the first full report on it.

Speaker 2 Catherine Herrods, who came out and said, yep, you know, they are looking at a terrorist report, at least, threats that something may take place here over the holiday weekend.

Speaker 4 A security alert suggesting an increasing terrorist threat to New York State.

Speaker 4 The New York State intelligence bulletin points to Israeli operations against Hamas and specifically that the increase in civilian casualties raises the likelihood that violent extremist threat actors will seek to conduct attacks against targets in the West, with New York State being a focus.

Speaker 2 So that was out there, and as that was out there, and very

Speaker 2 rightly so, people

Speaker 2 are concerned.

Speaker 2 So when you have this explosion that takes place at the border, you can understand people are saying, well,

Speaker 2 that's what it looks like. Was a terrorist attack, a car filled with explosives.
But I'm here to tell you what actually took place

Speaker 2 was much strange. Or at least what we're being told right now.
That took place much stranger

Speaker 2 than what we were initially thinking with the terrorist attack. Here's some of the reporting.

Speaker 2 A $300,000 car, a wife and husband off to a kiss-in concert, ended up at a casino instead, and then in flames.

Speaker 5 Well, investigators have been going backwards through the day of the person they believe to be the driver of that car, and what they see is a 56-year-old man from the area.

Speaker 5 He lives in a very upscale island

Speaker 5 that's not far away, who had intended to go to the KISS concert, which was canceled, then changed his plans to a casino where he spent some time, and then leaves the casino and then drives at a high rate of speed along this road in Niagara Falls, hits the divider, goes airborne, as the governor said, and lands in an explosion.

Speaker 5 Authorities believe he was in the car with his wife. This was a Bentley two-door Excelsior X.
This is a car that goes for about $300,000 new.

Speaker 5 So it does not, as Matt Moragular from the FBI indicated, the special agent in charge in Buffalo, who runs the Joint Terrorism Task Force up there, does not have any of the earmarks of terrorism.

Speaker 5 It looks much more, as they have been able to go backwards through it, like a terrible accident. The question is how and why, and they're still looking at that.

Speaker 2 Somebody on my morning show out of Detroit today actually sent me a message.

Speaker 2 Look at all these black boxes these smart cars have now.

Speaker 2 Can they dig in and get some information? You know, they're always creeping on us, and they're trying to get that, you know, privacy issues and things like that.

Speaker 2 Is there any way that they can dig into the black box and find out what happened? Because the thing was going at a high rate of speed. I saw

Speaker 2 I guess one of the guys that witnessed this, a resident there, come out and he was interviewed. He said, no, no, nothing like they said actually happened.

Speaker 2 This car, and here's another piece that I find kind of interesting, was actually circling around

Speaker 2 the area multiple times. He said that looked a little suspicious to him.
Then he saw it rev up high rate of speed. It must have hit some sort of

Speaker 2 incline or some sort of concrete embankment or something and that's when it goes airborne finally impacts on another

Speaker 2 look like concrete or steel beam something

Speaker 2 in the inside that that uh

Speaker 2 post before you get to the actual bridge that border patrol will oversee and that's where the explosion happened so i'm just telling you the thing that came out and i don't know terrorism or what i don't really know that we'll ever know the real truth about what actually happened here

Speaker 2 but terrorism uh it looks like it probably wasn't What happened? I don't,

Speaker 2 I guess it's hard to make sense of it. I think maybe what did happen is far more strange

Speaker 2 than what will ever, who knows? Were there drugs or alcohol or something like that involved? I don't know.

Speaker 2 But it is just part of the stories. And I know since we've

Speaker 2 probably had a chance to talk, that's the latest in the outnumbers happening right now as we speak. Today, the first group of Hamas hostages is set to be released.

Speaker 2 That's as we speak right now, the first group. I haven't seen any

Speaker 2 actual reports that they have been yet released. There's a group of these, maybe 50 or so.
And then there's

Speaker 2 an exchange of prisoners that

Speaker 2 are being held that are going to be released as well. I think there's about 150.

Speaker 2 And this is during the four-day, the first of which, during the four-day ceasefire, that seems like it's sticking so far.

Speaker 2 Praying for those people. One of the saddest stories out of all of them is the three-year-old girl who is an orphan now.
Her mother and father both killed in those attacks on October 7th. And she,

Speaker 2 you know, I've got a daughter her age.

Speaker 2 She is yet to be released. And I can't imagine

Speaker 2 what she's going through. I can't imagine what that's going to be like for her surviving family.

Speaker 2 It is unthinkable. We're praying for those people, and we'll continue to cover that story and more today.
But we are just getting started. So it's Barkley Infrabeck today.

Speaker 2 You want to join us on the program of any kind, you can at Triple 8.

Speaker 2 Hold on.

Speaker 2 I just forgot the number. I'll give it to you in a second.
We come back. I'll get that.
I promise. I'm just kind of getting my footing here and we'll get things rolling.
Riley Gaines coming out.

Speaker 2 We're also going to talk to Julie Kelly today. Lots loaded up in for Beck back after this.

Speaker 2 Welcome back. It's Barkley, and for Beck today on the Glenn Beck program on an

Speaker 2 interesting, this is going to be a Black Friday to remember. You know, one of the things that I find

Speaker 2 most fascinating about where we are right now, particularly in the

Speaker 2 weird economic times that we're facing, is is that there is more of a

Speaker 2 there's more of a strain there's more of an economic strain I think than we've ever felt before

Speaker 2 and it is

Speaker 2 you know it's

Speaker 2 it's from everything but

Speaker 2 there's there's a there's plenty of Biden campaign out there sending out talking points for Thanksgiving I don't know how your Thanksgiving went

Speaker 2 Was there any

Speaker 2 talk any politics over the turkey?

Speaker 2 I am

Speaker 2 actually grateful that it didn't, nothing escalated, nothing got any weirder than it really normally does.

Speaker 2 It's family, so there's always going to be some weirdness to it, right? You know, but No, nothing got too weird.

Speaker 2 I will say that I thought it was fascinating. Biden administration, the campaign, they put out these talking points.
Here's how you deal with anything from them. The economy isn't

Speaker 2 as good as it was under Trump to what about the polls? And

Speaker 2 I overheard some interesting conversation.

Speaker 2 I'm going to save that for later. And along with the talking point, I'm going to just tell you something that I don't think anybody can deny, although they're trying.

Speaker 2 Particularly the Biden campaign folks. They're trying.

Speaker 2 It's not as bad. It would be worse if it were Trump.
So just imagine that. That's kind of where they're at.
But it's no denying things are really tough for a lot of people.

Speaker 2 This is a woman who's gone viral

Speaker 2 over a million views. The first time I saw it over on TikTok, she'd gone viral talking about how bad things are to the average American.
And she says, you know, they're just not making it.

Speaker 32 I don't know why I'm making this video, but

Speaker 32 like

Speaker 32 I feel like

Speaker 32 my husband and I are doing everything

Speaker 32 right.

Speaker 32 We both have good jobs. I'm a nurse.
I'm a registered nurse.

Speaker 32 I work full time.

Speaker 32 He works full time.

Speaker 32 We just got paid this past Friday, right?

Speaker 32 We paid the mortgage.

Speaker 32 Bought some groceries. Put some gas in the car.

Speaker 32 And guys, it is Tuesday.

Speaker 32 And we have like two or three hundred dollars to last us until next Friday. Like,

Speaker 32 we don't live in a big house.

Speaker 32 We live in

Speaker 32 a little

Speaker 2 it's nice. It's modest, but it's nice.

Speaker 32 Little ranch. It's 1,100 square feet, three bedrooms, one bath, us and our two kids.

Speaker 32 And like.

Speaker 32 I don't I don't know what to do.

Speaker 32 I'm in school full-time.

Speaker 32 I work full-time.

Speaker 32 He works more than full-time. He works overtime every week.

Speaker 3 I don't know what to do.

Speaker 2 The comment section of this was just,

Speaker 2 as you can imagine, everybody...

Speaker 2 Blaming her, judging her, but also saying, you know, yeah, everything's bad. And then some people saying, wait a minute, you got 300 bucks left over?

Speaker 2 You're rich. rich.

Speaker 3 You're rich.

Speaker 2 It is, it's, like I said, it's going to be interesting at Black Friday. So here's what we have.
We have people feeling the pain because they barely have any money and they've dipped into savings.

Speaker 2 And I mean, 25% still have debt from last year's Christmas shopping, holiday shopping.

Speaker 2 And then you have the companies who know the retail's not really going in a good direction, no matter how much Biden administration tries to tell us.

Speaker 2 Oh, no, no, things are great. Things are great.
Don't worry about it. It's great.
Keep going out there and spending. Dip into your savings.
Rack up debt.

Speaker 2 Get those credit cards as high as you can with all the interest rates on them right now. Holy cow.

Speaker 2 But this is what the average person. I think they're doing that just

Speaker 2 to hit the normal groceries, the normal bills. And that's what she means.
She goes through. She's an RN.
She goes through what her husband does, the whole thing.

Speaker 32 She's I'm so stressed out.

Speaker 32 This isn't how it's supposed to be.

Speaker 32 You know, growing up, we were told,

Speaker 32 you know, go to college, get a degree,

Speaker 32 work to support your family.

Speaker 2 Here we are.

Speaker 32 Did that. Now what?

Speaker 32 Now what?

Speaker 2 Gotta feel that pain.

Speaker 32 I'm not into politics.

Speaker 32 I don't follow it. Frankly, that stresses me out too.

Speaker 32 But, like...

Speaker 2 That might be the problem. I'm not into politics.
I don't follow it. That stresses me out too.
I think that might be the problem. Here's another problem.

Speaker 32 I don't know. Somebody.

Speaker 32 Somebody has to do something to change this because

Speaker 32 like I make good money.

Speaker 32 He makes good money.

Speaker 32 We don't live live above our means.

Speaker 2 I don't know. I'm not going to get into the math of what they're doing, although it does seem like they're making at or above six figures.

Speaker 2 And I mean, depending on where they are, they're in Pennsylvania somewhere, but where they are and where

Speaker 2 that's, well, they used to be decent money, but maybe the math has changed. And

Speaker 2 maybe the reality of why it's changed is Bidenflation. Inflation is theft.
It steals from every single one of us. I saw a guy do the math.
He said it used to be $70,000 was all you needed.

Speaker 2 The average, now you need to make $120,000.

Speaker 2 So people are being robbed right and left. What does that look like on a Black Friday?

Speaker 2 Will tensions be high, violence and things like that, as people are rushing into the stores to try and grab something. They have some semblance of normality in this crazy world.

Speaker 2 It's like drinking from a fire hose. We keep you up to date with all of it.
Riley Gaines joins us coming out next. It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 2 Welcome back to the Glenbeck program. Barkley and for Beck today.
It's AAA 727-BEC, B-E-C-K.

Speaker 2 888-727-BEC. If you want to join join the program at any time, love to have you.
And of course, this story is another one of these world records that's been smashed.

Speaker 2 It's amazing. It's amazing.
Swimming as a man,

Speaker 2 just days prior, and now swimming as a woman, New Jersey Liberal Arts College, Megan

Speaker 2 Cortez Fields, a student there.

Speaker 2 smashes women's 100-yard butterfly record after competing in the men's team for three years.

Speaker 2 So I guess what this is, is if you're just not making it, if you're just not cutting it, you can have massive success if you just make the switch.

Speaker 2 And that's about all you have to do, really. I mean, you don't have to probably do much to qualify.
Riley Gaines has been very outspoken about this, Swamford UK, and of course,

Speaker 2 now is really the one out there ringing the bell about the fairness in these sports and particularly protecting young women. Riley, we appreciate you joining us.
I got two daughters of my own.

Speaker 2 This is very important. I watch this and I think, what in the world are they facing?

Speaker 2 But you've stared it down the barrel and come out better, I think, on the other side. What about this latest story? This is just another in the saga.
Appreciate you being here with us.

Speaker 50 Well, I appreciate you, Justin, and you're exactly right.

Speaker 50 This is just another story, another story of the exact same scenario, right? We've seen this time and time and time again.

Speaker 50 Make no mistake, this is a mediocre male athlete who is just that mediocre average at best to then switching to the women's team and becoming a record smasher, like you said.

Speaker 50 We saw this, of course, in regards to Leah Thomas. We saw this now at this college in New Jersey.
We saw this at a college at Roanoke College. It's continuing to happen.

Speaker 50 And notice, of course, it's only going one way.

Speaker 50 We only see men infiltrating into women's sports and not the other way around. And of course, ask yourself why.
And I think every common sense person knows exactly why.

Speaker 50 And it's because males are advantageous when it comes to something that requires sheer strength or athleticism. And it's not sexist or bigoted to say that.

Speaker 2 You know, it seems like common sense, but now we can't even agree, apparently,

Speaker 2 these days on what a woman is.

Speaker 2 So it's this crazy conversation that's taking place where people are, I think, rationally standing up and saying, no, no, no, I'm not going to, and you're, you're one of them.

Speaker 2 So, you know, you ought to be applauded for that, but I'm not going to waver here.

Speaker 2 And yet we see more and more of this. And I don't know the details of this particular swimmer.

Speaker 2 Whether there was like a full transformation that went through, you know, physically, you can't change down to the genetics. There are things that you just can't change.

Speaker 2 You could cut and tuck and nip and slice and dice all you want. But

Speaker 2 the truth is, down to the genetic level, you can't make those changes. There are advantages, and you point that out.
This is

Speaker 2 but this isn't the only sport. Swimming seems like we see this more and more, but there are other sports, including like fighting.
I've seen some of these cases where some of these fighters

Speaker 2 decide they're going to get.

Speaker 50 That's just crazy abuse to me of course and when you when you have sports like fighting or for example like field hockey which we saw recently you have to add in the safety element to it because you know in in regard to swimming of course the argument is about fair competition and women losing out on opportunities and our our our privacy aspect in the locker room but we didn't necessarily have to worry about our physical safety because There's no collision or throwing something at one another and swimming.

Speaker 50 But in field hockey, recently in Massachusetts, a male player playing on the women's team, of course, posing as a woman, hit a woman in the face. And I just talked with her team and her teammates.

Speaker 50 She lost her teeth, several of her teeth, and had to undergo facial reconstruction surgery to reconstruct her jaw.

Speaker 50 Same thing with Peyton McNabb, a volleyball player in high school in North Carolina, who was hit in the face by a male. again,

Speaker 50 playing on the women's team.

Speaker 50 Still to this day, this has been a year and three months since, still to this day from that hit, she's now not playing college sports like she was supposed to. Her vision is impaired.

Speaker 50 She's still partially paralyzed on her right side of her body. She has to have special accommodations for testing at school, all because of the brain injury she had from the male.

Speaker 50 And look, that's not to say that women playing against women, there's no injuries

Speaker 50 or injuries never happen because of course they do. But in those cases and many more, those injuries should have never happened

Speaker 2 you know i'm riley gains joins us right now to talk about this latest story and and so many others and this whole situation but you know

Speaker 2 i just you know you you're looking at these things and uh every one of these stories has something that i think is very similar in common which is the solution um we just played this This clip with this woman who is going on about how bad the economy is and how much pain she and her family are feeling and how far things have come for them.

Speaker 2 And they're making good money, but they're finding it harder and harder every day to survive. And I understand that.

Speaker 2 I get that a lot of people are going through that right now. They think they're doing the right things.
But she says a couple of things. Number one, she says,

Speaker 2 you know, I'm not political. I don't like to really get political.
It stresses me out, she says. And then following that up, she says, somebody's got to do something.

Speaker 2 Something is, it's so bad right now, but somebody has got to do something.

Speaker 2 And I think to myself, I mean, she's nailed it. She doesn't realize it in both of those statements, right? Like, I'm not political.
Well, that's how we got into this place. Of course.

Speaker 2 There are a lot of people that are sitting on the sidelines right now, to use a sports phrase, but they're sitting on the sidelines watching all of this go down. The world's burning.

Speaker 2 And they don't want to get political because, you know, it stresses them out. But the alternative is this dumpster fire that we're watching right now.

Speaker 2 And then the second piece of it is somebody ought to do something. Well, that's right.
That somebody is you.

Speaker 2 You've got to take a stand. And I know you've chosen to do that.
Yeah.

Speaker 50 Let me tell you, when I was in the position that I was in, again, that national championships where we faced Leah Thomas, a male, same story, 462nd against the men, to then dominating the women.

Speaker 50 I thought the exact same thing. I thought, surely.

Speaker 50 Really, I thought, surely someone who is supposed to be protecting us, like our coaches or our parents or people with political power or people within the NCAA,

Speaker 50 I thought, surely someone who's supposed to be protecting us would protect us. I mean, what a naive thought, I guess.

Speaker 50 And I remember the moment distinctly when I decided it had to be me because I'm standing on the podium and look, I was smiling. I was cheering, although I knew what was happening was wrong.

Speaker 50 Me specifically, I was denied the trophy because they told me that Leah Thomas had to hold it.

Speaker 50 Again, formerly Will Thomas, keep up if you can, had to hold the trophy because it was crucial when photos were being taken, although we tied.

Speaker 50 And I remember we were cheering, we were applauding, we knew it was wrong, we knew the unfair competition, the locker room, the silencing that we were facing from our universities was wrong.

Speaker 50 Yet we were applauding, and it hit me on that podium holding this trophy I know I have to give back, sharing my spot with a man.

Speaker 50 How in the world could we expect someone else to save us if we weren't even willing to save ourselves?

Speaker 50 This has to come from us as women, I think female athletes, and I didn't think this for the longest time, but I think female athletes need to boycott these events where males are participating, send the message that we're not, we've had enough, we're rolling up our sleeves and we're saying no.

Speaker 50 That being said, I do think parents need to step in. We need coaches willing to defend their female athletes.
You know, we ask the question of where are the feminists? Where are the feminists?

Speaker 50 What about the question of where are the men?

Speaker 50 We need strong men. There's a lot of...
fingers to be pointed here in this battle. This burden, really, shouldn't fall entirely on the shoulders of young girls and women like myself like it has.

Speaker 2 No, I know dads are a big part of it. Moms are a big part of it.
Parents got to take, coaches got to take some action, but you're right. All of this stops.

Speaker 2 And you noted before when I've talked to you about this, but like all of this stops when we just refuse to participate, just refuse to participate in the insanity.

Speaker 2 But

Speaker 2 that hasn't happened. We haven't quite hit that moment yet.
The truth is, whether it's this crazy situation, we're talking about men competing

Speaker 2 in women's sports, boys competing against girls, whatever it might be, or it's things that we're dealing with in our own backyard and the takeover that's happening at every step of the direction that we look across the country with China trying to come in.

Speaker 2 Matter of fact, we'll have a conversation about that a little later on this morning in the program. But also...

Speaker 2 the other issues that we're facing, the border wide open, all of these things, they start with us getting more engaged in what it is that we're facing on a daily basis, finding the strength to take action, however that comes,

Speaker 2 and

Speaker 2 moving forward with that. You said something the other day on Twitter or X now, and I think this is perfect.
Courage is contagious, so is hopelessness.

Speaker 2 And if we stick our heads in the sand, boy, we really, we're going to feel that way. And that's sometimes what I think what they intend on us feeling.

Speaker 2 But the opposite is true, too, and that's the inspiring part. I think that's the part they don't want to catch catch fire, is that courage is contagious.
And I thank you for yours.

Speaker 50 Absolutely. Well,

Speaker 50 I truly believe that. I think we know courage is contagious.

Speaker 50 But like I said, so it's hopelessness. And so it's our job.
It's our duty, I think, as human beings.

Speaker 50 I think as parents, I think as women, as Christians, I think it's our duty to have hope, to stand firm, to be bold, to be empowering, and to say the truth.

Speaker 50 this, that's what this all boils down to is merely saying the emperor wears no clothes.

Speaker 50 And I don't think it's hard to do, so I think it's something we should all be doing.

Speaker 2 Vile Gaines, what are you up to now? Obviously, speaking out, standing strong, and I think you got a podcast, too.

Speaker 50 I do. I have a podcast through Outkick.
It is the Gaines for Girls podcast, where

Speaker 50 interviewing different policy experts and, of course, people who have been affected by this gender ideology movement, world-renowned scientists regarding the topic.

Speaker 50 So really cool stuff going on there.

Speaker 50 I'm going to continue speaking at college campuses in the spring semester, which I think is really important to engage the younger generation who certainly needs to be engaged and who I believe is desperate for the truth, to hear the truth.

Speaker 50 So lots of really awesome things. Another congressional hearing coming up in a few weeks, testifying in

Speaker 50 Ohio on behalf of their women's sports bill this week. So lots of impact to be made in the near future, which is exciting.

Speaker 2 I'm following you on X, but where's the best place people can keep up with you?

Speaker 50 X is perfect. My username is Riley underscore Gaines underscore, many underscores, because my account before Elon Musk era was banned many times.

Speaker 50 X is a wonderful platform, and I am thankful for the ability to speak freely there, where that's not the case on a lot of platforms.

Speaker 2 We'll continue to keep people updated, and thank you for your courage as well. Riley Gaines, thanks for being here with us today.
Appreciate you.

Speaker 50 Thank you, Justin.

Speaker 2 You got it. In for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program, we continue the conversation.
You can join us too at 888-727-BEC. That's 888-727-B-E-C-K.
There's a mystery illness.

Speaker 2 Overwhelming hospitals in China. Plus, we get the update on hostages.
It looks like some of the release is underway right now. But I know what you're thinking.
Here we go again. China.

Speaker 2 As a mystery illness. But there's some facts.
There's some truth behind some of this that actually gives me a little bit of hope, a little bit of encouragement that I hopefully will get out.

Speaker 2 Mark this date that you hear the truth because you know it's an election year, so things can get

Speaker 2 a little weird in the coming days. We'll get to all of that more coming up next on the Glenn Beck program, Barkley Infrabecative.

Speaker 49 Glenn Beck.

Speaker 2 I'm on Acts at Mr.Justin Barkley. In fact, I'm all over those platforms the same at Mr.Justin Barkley, Barkley and for Beck this morning.

Speaker 2 And the updates we have that hostage release is underway according to reports that are coming in right now.

Speaker 2 It looks like about 14 imminent children being released as that ceasefire is underway too, and so forth. Sticking for the next several days,

Speaker 2 praying for those folks.

Speaker 2 I've got a story that's sending chills down the spines of a lot of folks. I think mine included, because you're thinking to yourself, you're seeing this, oh boy, here we go again.

Speaker 2 It's a story of a virus out of China.

Speaker 2 This is not good.

Speaker 2 It is a mystery pneumonia, leaving China overwhelmed, they say, with sick children.

Speaker 2 But I've got to slow it down. I've got to give you a little bit of a, just a pause for caution.

Speaker 2 Some of the things that we're hearing about this story, overwhelmed hospitals, kids, and the worst off and all of this, we're getting some clarification on.

Speaker 2 It turns out China just lifted their restrictions. So I get it.
We're going into a

Speaker 2 nothing, nothing's off the table, but we're going into an election year. Anything's possible.

Speaker 2 So there are people that are a little freaked out about it.

Speaker 2 I understand your concern on this, but we're finding out the same thing is happening in China that happened in America, where they finally are coming off of those restrictions. Imagine that.

Speaker 2 The masks and the protocols and all the other things they did in order to keep people safer, quote unquote, right? That's

Speaker 2 it ends up hurting people. We know this now more than ever.
We continue to hit the updates and the data.

Speaker 2 The school closings hurt kids more than they could have ever imagined in so many different ways. And mental health

Speaker 2 particularly,

Speaker 2 but also the fact that the kids weren't around each other. So your immune system kind of drags when it's not competing, when it's not out there fighting and fighting off bugs.

Speaker 2 So now they've taken the masks off and they're out circulating again and they're being overwhelmed. And one of those things is the RSV, which is we saw all of that here in America.

Speaker 2 So just bring you down a little bit of, maybe a little bit of hope, some good news, but we will touch on China because they are a force we ought to be concerned with coming up in the next hour.

Speaker 2 You're going to hear more about that and what people are doing all across the country at little towns to fight back, to stand up. Maybe a blueprint for you to join the fight coming up in just moments.

Speaker 2 Sparkly in for Beck today. Triple 8-727-B-E-C-K, the number if you want to join in as well.

Speaker 2 And maybe it's soil. Oh, we're at it.
Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Back program. Back after this.

Speaker 14 aches and pains are just part of getting older.

Speaker 59 You know it, and I know it, but that doesn't mean you have to just accept it.

Speaker 22 That's why I want to tell you the story about Nancy from Texas and her Relief Factor story.

Speaker 23 For years, she took care of horses and gave riding lessons.

Speaker 9 She started getting older, and Nancy began feeling the effects, so she decided to give Relief Factor a try.

Speaker 59 It didn't work overnight, but it did work.

Speaker 25 These days, she says, I have more stamina because I don't hurt.

Speaker 44 With Relief Factor, she can keep going and doing more.

Speaker 18 I can relate as I used to have terrible aches and pains in my hands.

Speaker 59 It was to the point that I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning.

Speaker 14 But ever since starting Relief Factor, I've got my life back.

Speaker 18 If you're living with aches and pain, see how Relief Factor, a daily drug-free supplement, can help you feel and live a better life every day.

Speaker 21 To get started, try Relief Factor, their three-week quick start kit.

Speaker 62 It's $19.95, comes with a feel better or your money-back guarantee.

Speaker 13 Visit ReliefActor.com or call 800 for Relief.

Speaker 20 That's 800, the number for relief.

Speaker 2 You know, something interesting is happening. You know, amongst all of the bad news that we get on a daily basis, and we get lots of it, right?

Speaker 2 It's like drinking from a fire hose, I have to say. It's never a dull moment these days.
They're constantly under attack. And look, I think some of that is intentional.

Speaker 2 No doubt. I mean, the more that's thrown at us, the more that we have to

Speaker 2 dodge or fend off. Well,

Speaker 2 the less likely we are going to be able to spot what really matters most. And of course, then

Speaker 2 defend against it. That's just

Speaker 2 the strategy of the nature of the warfare we're at right now. And what we're seeing happening is unfolding on a daily basis.
I think it's important for us to have

Speaker 2 good news, too.

Speaker 2 In fact, I wrote a book about it: good news, hope, and encouragement for trying times. And that's what this is today: a story about

Speaker 2 some good news.

Speaker 2 It happened just the other day

Speaker 2 in a small rural town,

Speaker 2 in fact, a township just north of

Speaker 2 a place called Big Rapids, which is in Michigan, northern Michigan.

Speaker 2 Ferris State University is the home of this place.

Speaker 2 Place called Green Charter Township. Americans came together, both on the left and right, to stand up and fight back and take action against a township board that just wasn't listening.

Speaker 2 They just weren't listening to the people.

Speaker 2 I don't care where you are, Democrat, Republican, left, right, whatever your politics are,

Speaker 2 when the people who have been elected to represent you are no longer doing so. In fact, they're not even listening to you.
And many of them have been in place for decades.

Speaker 2 They don't feel like they have to.

Speaker 2 You got to stand up and you have to take action. And people that had never been involved in politics at all did just that.
And it all hinged on an electric vehicle battery plant,

Speaker 2 a plant owned by a company proposed there by a company named uh goshen parent company goshen high-tech

Speaker 2 in their official company articles on their very own website they mentioned their allegiance with the chinese communist party china

Speaker 2 as you can imagine this isn't flying well in rural michigan i don't think it would fly well really anywhere across the country along with those national security implications there are also concerns from folks on the left about the environmental impact of this battery plant, all the toxic chemicals that are going to be used to build these batteries.

Speaker 2 And of course, they're telling us it's going to be jobs, jobs, jobs, so many jobs. You're going to love it.

Speaker 2 The question about those jobs, how many and what the impact might be versus the other issues as well is what really has sparked the fight. Left and right, standing up to fight back.

Speaker 2 Here to talk a little bit about that. Former congressman, former ambassador, and right in the fight, in the middle of it all, Pete Huckstra from Michigan joining us right now.

Speaker 2 Appreciate you, Ambassador. How are you?

Speaker 3 Hey, I'm doing just fine. Thank you.

Speaker 3 Yeah.

Speaker 3 And thanks for staying focused on this issue. It really is,

Speaker 3 as you characterize it. It's the left and the right fighting, but for once, they're not fighting each other.
They're actually fighting together, and they're fighting the elites in their township.

Speaker 3 They're fighting the elites in our state capitol in Lansing, and they're fighting the elites in Washington, D.C., who all came together and said, you know what?

Speaker 3 Putting this mega-site battery factory in this little rural community in northern Michigan, providing them with billions of dollars of tax breaks,

Speaker 3 you know, we think that's a good idea. We think that's a good idea for Greene Township.
And these folks all said, what?

Speaker 3 What say you?

Speaker 3 We say no. And so they, you know,

Speaker 3 they came together, they got the signatures for a recall. So they recalled their elected officials.

Speaker 3 They recalled and rescinded a township ordinance that facilitated this battery plant. And, you know, the new group has been installed.
They're already fighting back.

Speaker 3 But I think the most important thing here, Justin,

Speaker 3 they just didn't barely win.

Speaker 3 They crushed them. They crushed them.
They got 70% of the vote in a recall. They crushed them.
And hallelujah.

Speaker 2 It was wild to watch. You know,

Speaker 2 this whole process has been wild. And I know that Ambassador Pete Uxher is with us right now.

Speaker 2 He has been in the middle of this, kind of watching and participating, helping in the fight bring along with Ambassador Josella,

Speaker 2 Congressman John Molinar here in Michigan, now the entire Michigan delegation coming together, actually joining with a congressman in Illinois, where, coincidentally, there's a battery plant.

Speaker 2 The same company wants to put in another plant in that state as well. And this is happening across the country.
This is why I bring this to your attention: because

Speaker 2 this is a fight that is not going anywhere.

Speaker 2 They first wanted to try this in Alabama, and the story just came out a couple of weeks ago that the folks in Alabama looked at it and they said, No, we're going to pass on this. Why?

Speaker 2 National security concerns. But the governor of Michigan, who is one of the worst

Speaker 2 wicked Whitmer of Michigan,

Speaker 2 she's been all in on this along with Biden. And of course,

Speaker 2 she has pledged, they've gave almost a billion dollars, Michigan taxpayer money to buy the farmland.

Speaker 2 So China buying pure Michigan farmland, and in this case, to put a battery plant on top of it, I know that's another issue that's coming up across the country as well.

Speaker 2 What is China doing buying up all this farmland? And aren't we going to be maybe taking a closer look at this? Why haven't we? It is a fight for the nation's soul, but also the nation's soil.

Speaker 2 We really, we do have to take a closer look at some of these things because this is part of China's overall plan, isn't it? And I know you're very familiar.

Speaker 2 You've written a book actually on this, but China's plans for America, they're quite detailed and they're quite patient about it, aren't they?

Speaker 3 They really are. I mean, they have a long-term goal to, you know, to

Speaker 3 dominate the world. They want to be the military leader in the world.
They want to be the economic leader in the world.

Speaker 3 And, you know, here we are.

Speaker 3 And it's not just Governor Whitmer. I mean, yeah, she's right smack dab in the middle of it.

Speaker 3 But, you know, we ought to also lay the blame right at the feet of prominent Michigan Republican business people.

Speaker 3 It's how they get corrupted when the federal government and the state government lays billions of dollars out in front of them for the taking and say and says, hey, you know,

Speaker 3 we'll slip you $50 million for your priorities as we want this Chinese battery plant in Maca County, Green Township.

Speaker 3 And these folks just go after the money like crazy. And, you know, so

Speaker 3 the only place to really fight them is what the residents in Green Township did. They fought them at the local level.

Speaker 3 You know, because you're fighting, you're fighting for votes, but you're also fighting for money.

Speaker 3 You know, we're, you know, we're put up a bunch of, trying to put up a bunch of legal obstacles to Goshen. But who are we fighting? We're fighting, we were fighting Green Township.

Speaker 3 We were fighting the state, their economic development group.

Speaker 3 We were fighting an organization called the Right Place, which is a big economic development group on the west side of the state of Michigan.

Speaker 3 These folks have deep, deep pockets, and we're fighting it with grassroots in a township.

Speaker 3 You know, so, but, you know, don't forget the little guy.

Speaker 3 You know, that's what America is all about. And the little guy spoke in Green Township.
And, you know, we're moving forward. And, you know, it's amazing that the tip of the spear.

Speaker 3 of fighting the Chinese Communist Party. You won't find the tip of the spear in Washington.
You won't find the tip of the spear in Lansing. You find it at the local level with grassroots Americans.

Speaker 3 It's amazing that there's only a few people in Washington and in Lansing who are willing to join this fight.

Speaker 3 But, you know, the little folks in Green Township, they said, hey, we'll take this fight on, and they've demonstrated that they can win.

Speaker 2 Ambassador, former Ambassador Pete Huxer joins us right now. And I want to give people a chance to help out if they can.
I know this issue is far from over. It's a win.
It's not the final.

Speaker 2 It's one of the battles, not the end of the war. But the MaCosta Environmental and Security Alliance, I know you're working with them at Mesa.

Speaker 2 They've got a website where they are taking donations to fight this thing off. And by the way, this win, they're in that little township of Michigan.

Speaker 2 will have echoes and reverberate across the country. And this is not just about Michigan.
It's not just about that township. It's about the fate of our country.

Speaker 2 I know they're taking donations at protectmacosta.org, the website there. Protectmacosta.org.
But

Speaker 2 what do those donations go to, and what will that help fund in the fight?

Speaker 3 Well,

Speaker 3 what it's been funding so far, our legal, our legal fight against Goshen. I mean, there's all kinds of issues that we think we can tackle this plant on.
environmental issues.

Speaker 3 A battery plant's going to be a huge consumer of water.

Speaker 3 So we're concerned about what happens to the groundwater.

Speaker 3 We're concerned, like you said, we're concerned about the materials that they're going to be bringing into the site, the environmental impact that they may have.

Speaker 3 We're concerned about

Speaker 3 what it's going to do to the community. Because as you said, it's environmentalists, it's community activists, and thank you, Barack Obama, it's community organizers.

Speaker 3 that have joined with us who are concerned about the national security implications, all fighting this really bad idea. And so the funds that you donate to this organization,

Speaker 3 they're used to fight all of these initiatives and to fight the deep pockets that you find at Goshen, that you find at The Right Place, that you find in Lansing, and that you find in Washington.

Speaker 3 Remember,

Speaker 3 this is billions of dollars. And as you said,

Speaker 3 it's not just about Maca. It's about what's going on in another community in Michigan, Marshall, Michigan.

Speaker 3 It's about what's going on in Illinois, where they want to build, where Goshen wants, again, is being incentivized to build a battery plant.

Speaker 3 But the other thing is it's a much bigger fight. Remember during COVID? I do.
In the Netherlands, we were dependent on supplies coming in from the Chinese Communist Party, coming in from China.

Speaker 3 And the big talk was then we've got to onshore some of the production of these products. But that fight has now gone away under the Biden administration.

Speaker 3 You know, we need to reshore some of these articles,

Speaker 3 some of these commodities and some of these products. And those are the fights that on a larger scale, we're also going to be engaging in.

Speaker 3 It's battery plants and key technologies today. Don't give China the lead.

Speaker 3 And in the future, it's going to be resourcing to America, to our allies, the things that we need every day to survive and be a great nation.

Speaker 2 Former congressman, former ambassador, and speaking of which, Pete Huxtra, you just mentioned the Netherlands. I've got to take a quick pause here, a quick break.

Speaker 2 If you can hang on with us through this, I want to ask you something pretty incredible, revolutionary, is happening over there. In fact, I think you maybe have a little insight into it.

Speaker 2 We'll get your take on

Speaker 2 something big happening, a conservative movement happening there. We just saw in Argentina, conservative movement.
This is movements happening throughout the world right now.

Speaker 2 We'll get your take, get the pulse on that when we come back. Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenbeck program.

Speaker 2 All right, back in the Glenbeck program, Barclay in for back today. We got a former Congressman, former Ambassador Pete Huckstra on the phone line with us.

Speaker 2 Now, you're ambassador to the Netherlands during your time, and something big just happened there.

Speaker 2 In fact, we're seeing seeing some things happening throughout the world right now that are shocking a lot of people. But there was just a massive election

Speaker 2 there, and something wild happened. Can you fill us in on this?

Speaker 3 Yeah, actually, I was just in the Netherlands. I just came back from the Netherlands earlier this week.
But Kerrit Wilders,

Speaker 3 who

Speaker 3 has been a prominent

Speaker 3 politician in the Netherlands since the 90s. I met him when I was in Congress in the 90s.
So I've known Kerr for almost close to 30 years.

Speaker 3 And, you know, so he's a friend of mine. But when I got to be the ambassador to the Netherlands, I talked to, you know,

Speaker 3 my employees at the State Department and said, hey, I'm a parliamentarian. I want to get to meet the parliamentarians in the Dutch parliament.

Speaker 3 And they said, okay, and we'll start scheduling meetings with you. And I said, okay, and I'd like to meet with Gert Wilders.

Speaker 3 And they said, well, you know, you really can't do that, Ambassador. And I said, what do you mean I can't do that? Well, you know, he's too controversial.

Speaker 3 I said, you know, it doesn't, that doesn't bother me. I mean, I ended up meeting with the Muslim Party,

Speaker 3 and I ended up, you know, it's kind of like, no, you're not going to tell me who I'm going to meet with. I'm going to meet with all the parliamentarians, and that includes Gerhard Wilders.

Speaker 3 And so he's been on the scene for more than 20 years.

Speaker 3 I've been, you know, spoken very aggressively

Speaker 3 on anti-Islam issues, radical Islam, and those kinds of things.

Speaker 3 And then during, but he's also

Speaker 3 spoken on a lot of other issues, immigration, the EU, and those kinds of things.

Speaker 3 And, you know, he consistently, in election cycles, would come in, you know, somewhere between the second or the fourth largest party in the Netherlands. And you say, well, you'll come in fourth.

Speaker 3 And it's like, hey, the last parliament had 15 parties in it. So you come in fourth, you're still a pretty sizable voice.

Speaker 3 And in this election cycle,

Speaker 3 it appears that the same thing that happened up in Green Township.

Speaker 3 The people who were in elected office forgot who they'd worked,

Speaker 3 they forgot who they'd worked for.

Speaker 3 You know, the Dutch, you know, they've been going along the green movement. They've been the leaders in Europe on the green issues.

Speaker 3 They were at

Speaker 3 the last parliament. They're having huge fights with their farmers because they want to close 30 to 50 percent of their farms.
Well, the Dutch are the, you know, they're a huge agricultural country.

Speaker 3 And, you know, who told them they had to close that many farms? The EU. And they're saying, wait a minute, this is our country.

Speaker 3 You know, we'll make our rules. And we kind of like farmers.
But the elites and the establishment said, no, we have to follow the EU.

Speaker 3 And so what happened in this cycle, I think what happened on, you know, on Wednesday was

Speaker 3 The Dutch people spoke. They were dissatisfied with the establishment parties and said, you know, you've been working on these issues for the last 13 years, on immigration,

Speaker 3 on our concerns about the EU. You haven't done anything.
And in some cases, we think that you've made the situation worse.

Speaker 3 We're going to go with somebody that we think is finally going to confront our concerns about immigration, who's going to confront our concerns about the green energy movement, who's going to confront our concerns about losing our Dutchness

Speaker 3 to the EU.

Speaker 3 And, you know, there were four parties. They were all expected to get between 20 and 25 seats in the parliament.

Speaker 3 And builders came in. Builders' party came in

Speaker 3 what looks like now 37 seats,

Speaker 3 beating all expectations. And again, not by a small margin, but by a huge and significant margin.
The challenge now for Harris is he's got to put together a coalition. He's got to get the 75 votes.

Speaker 3 And we'll have to wait and see whether he can do that or not.

Speaker 2 We'll keep an eye on all of it for you. But former ambassador to the Netherlands there, Pete Hookstrer.
Appreciate your time with us. And again, the website is.

Speaker 2 You got it. God bless you.
And if folks want to donate to that cause, Mesa, Macosta Environmental Security Alliance, Protect Macausta, M-E-C-O-S-T-A.org. I'll put it up on the Lincoln X as well.

Speaker 2 Coming up next, a lot of talk about Meghan Mike Johnson and a lot of controversy over the new speaker of the house. One of the controversies I never saw coming is apparently he's a guy who

Speaker 2 does not want to look at certain things, doesn't want his family to see certain things, and tell you why and what he's doing next.

Speaker 2 The Glenn Back program.

Speaker 2 MAGA Mike Johnson. In fact, some are calling him MEGA MAGA Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House.

Speaker 2 I think a kind of a miraculous

Speaker 2 fight for the Speaker. You know, you go back and you remember how this all played out.
And I was hearing from all kinds of folks. They're in Congress,

Speaker 2 staff, and people on the sidelines with other organizations and groups. And they're talking about, there's no way.
How do you get to 217? Who can do it?

Speaker 2 We have no clue how this is gonna all go down and of course

Speaker 2 it's just uh miraculous circumstances surrounding it all and i think there was a little bit of a divine providence maybe divine intervention uh through it all and

Speaker 2 that's that's

Speaker 2 That's probably why I find this next story kind of fascinating, how they're going after it. Now, they're going to go after anybody.

Speaker 2 Anybody on the right. In fact, right now in Dublin, they are talking about the riots the clashes that took place so i think five people were stabbed three kids

Speaker 2 in dublin uh by somebody who was there illegally and um

Speaker 2 still learning more about that individual but they are now saying that these people that were protesting and part of the riots last night in dublin they were far right

Speaker 2 So now you are far right. That's like they will call MAGA Mike Johnson far right.

Speaker 2 You're far right if you if you're against stabbing kids.

Speaker 2 That's where we are right now. The insanity of the world, the way things are just completely turned upside down.
I guess, you know, when the world is so messed up, just the point to me is

Speaker 2 I don't mind being called crazy. When normal is so

Speaker 2 evil and it's so wrong, I don't mind being called a little nutty. I don't want to be normal.

Speaker 2 And so does neither does Megan Mike Johnson apparently. He and his son, this is one of the stories you never thought would take

Speaker 2 charge like it has, but it has. He has talked about how he and his son have downloaded an app

Speaker 2 to help keep them accountable so that they're not looking at things online that they shouldn't be, things online that aren't good for them and other people as well.

Speaker 2 And this story, the way the world and the left particularly, media folks have reacted to it is

Speaker 2 just

Speaker 2 incredible.

Speaker 2 I've been watching the

Speaker 2 fallout from it all.

Speaker 2 And I've been rather amused, but also curious, and maybe you have too, there is an app called Covenant Eyes, and they have downloaded this app and they are using it.

Speaker 2 In fact, I sparked my interest because I've heard of it, but I wasn't really sure exactly how it's used, how it works, and what exactly they're doing.

Speaker 2 And also, just how this all plays in, maybe other people are starting to draw some attention to this and the issue.

Speaker 2 And so, we reached out and thought we would talk to a founder, someone who will discuss this with us. Ron DeHaas is with us right now from Covenant Eyes.

Speaker 2 Ron, we appreciate you being here with us today on the Glenback program.

Speaker 3 Hey, Justin, it's great to be here. Thank you.

Speaker 2 So, tell us what Covenant Eyes is and where it came from, and then we'll get into MAGA Mike and

Speaker 2 his story in just a little bit. But what's the app about and where did it come from?

Speaker 3 It is quite a story, and I agree with everything you just said. You know, it's interesting.

Speaker 3 So here's how Covenant Eyes works. First of all, you get an ally, someone who cares about you and is willing to hold you accountable for your internet use.

Speaker 3 And your ally will then get from Covenant Eyes a regular check-in on your activity. And so the idea is to beat porn, right? And so the result is, and here's the kind of the statistics of the result.

Speaker 3 The result is that less than 5%

Speaker 3 of our software users cross the explicit threshold from the very first day that they use it. So, in other words, even from the very first day, 95%

Speaker 3 of Covenant Eyes members are successful in avoiding explicit material. And we get that from

Speaker 3 over 100 million data points that we gather every month. And now compare that to cigarettes, for instance.

Speaker 3 Imagine if there was a solution that was 95% successful in beating cigarettes from the very first day. It's pretty remarkable.

Speaker 2 Why is this such a problem for some? I mean, I can imagine what you're going to catch and what the app might

Speaker 2 track, but,

Speaker 2 just looking at anything, Facebook or Instagram or anything social media people are going to come across, chances are they're going to come across stuff that, I mean, it's right there on that edge and something a lot of times crosses it.

Speaker 3 Oh, yeah, we have to face the facts that

Speaker 3 virtually everybody, now there are a few exceptions that I've come across, but virtually everybody has been tempted by porn on the internet.

Speaker 3 The statistics show that upwards of 70% of men and upwards of 50% of women actually have an ongoing struggle with it.

Speaker 3 And I've corresponded with hundreds of teens and young adults who have struggled with porn since they were younger than 13. And these are people that come, kids that come from good homes.

Speaker 3 You know, their parents really are shocked to find this out. And rarely do I hear from anyone under 25 who was not exposed to porn by the time they were 12.

Speaker 3 It has become the sex education of our young people.

Speaker 3 It is training the boys, young boys, this is how you treat girls, and it's teaching the girls, this is how you get treated.

Speaker 3 It really is becoming the sex education

Speaker 3 of our youth. And, you know, it's interesting, the growth of the erectile dysfunction industry,

Speaker 3 ED,

Speaker 3 in 1941, the Kinsey report showed that less than 1%

Speaker 3 of men 18 to 32

Speaker 3 had ED.

Speaker 3 And by 2013, there were three peer-reviewed studies that showed that upwards of 30%

Speaker 3 of young men 18 to 32

Speaker 3 have ED. And so two decades ago, the ads for the ED drugs

Speaker 3 were

Speaker 3 old men talking to old men in the ad.

Speaker 3 Now you listen to the ads. It's young men talking to young men.
And so

Speaker 3 that's the results.

Speaker 2 I can see the headline here as I know this as I'm about to say it, but like this is this is what I'm thinking, Ron. But like

Speaker 2 porn is a communist plot. And I know that the headline is coming, but I want to say that like

Speaker 2 that that it is it is it is a version of evil, and it's a very seductive version that may start out in a very sort of relatable or just introductory way, and it gets worse and worse and worse over time that people have talked about this.

Speaker 2 But it really does seem to me that we are under attack these days, not just obviously with the physical that we're facing on the battlefields

Speaker 2 across the world, but also in our hands. We've got these devices.
There's an information battle happening. There's a battle for the soul of the nation in a lot of ways through information, propaganda.

Speaker 2 But if if you can get, it seems to me, into

Speaker 2 the relationships of men and women and even stop them from having them at all

Speaker 2 in America, and you can put a little wedge in between husbands and wives

Speaker 2 and just affect people in that way.

Speaker 2 I mean, you can do tremendous damage. And I'm just reminded of Paul Harvey and

Speaker 2 that famous If I Were the Devil segment that he did years ago that piece I mean it just it's like prophetic the way that so many of those things have come true but these are the things you might do you know and that's why I just think about all of the ramifications that we're seeing because of social media or any number of websites or things that have things on them that might lead people down a path that they don't want to be on

Speaker 2 you know

Speaker 3 you're absolutely right pornography is damaging every relationship that you can think of it's your family, your friends.

Speaker 3 It impedes your work.

Speaker 3 It impedes whatever ministry you have.

Speaker 3 And 93%

Speaker 3 of our members, we do a poll of 300,000 members, what we have,

Speaker 3 we do a poll, and

Speaker 3 93%

Speaker 3 say that the reason they are, one of the reasons that they're using covenant eyes is to improve their relationship with God.

Speaker 3 And they recognize that it has damaged that.

Speaker 3 And so, you know, the Mike Johnson story, for instance, the true story is he was being a good parent.

Speaker 3 Mike Johnson, the true story is Mike Johnson is a good father. And you're right.

Speaker 3 People have taken that and turned it around to evil.

Speaker 3 That's an evil thing. Being a good father is a bad thing.

Speaker 2 So he introduced this app with his son and a way to help keep him accountable, it sounds like.

Speaker 2 And this

Speaker 2 sounds like a great way for him and his son to grow their relationship. So tell me,

Speaker 2 what's the story on him, the true story about what happened with Mike as a father?

Speaker 2 Well, okay,

Speaker 3 he was on a panel in a Baptist church gathering, and this was a year ago now.

Speaker 3 And there was a video recording of the panel. And in that panel, I mean, it's like,

Speaker 3 honestly, the Speaker of the House doing doing an advertisement for Covenant Eyes because he talked about Covenant Eyes accountability and how well it works

Speaker 3 and and how he used Covenant Eyes successfully to help teach his son to stay away from pornography and so

Speaker 3 the the headline Rolling Stone magazine had had the ran the headline so when Mike when Mike Johnson goes to his son and he says, I want to hold you accountable and I want you to hold me accountable on our on our internet use because

Speaker 3 I want us both to avoid pornography. I want us both to hold each other accountable.
And so

Speaker 3 they installed Covenant Eyes on their computers.

Speaker 3 And here's the headline from Rolling Stone. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson admitted that he and his son monitored each other's porn intake.

Speaker 3 Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 That was the article. That was the headline that really kind of stirred up this whole story.
And of course,

Speaker 3 that's not quite the actual story. The actual story is that Mike Johnson, a good father,

Speaker 3 had a desire to discourage his son from getting trapped by pornography. And not only that, he sets an example for his son by holding himself accountable with his son, mutual accountability.
So

Speaker 3 the real story is Mike Johnson is a good father.

Speaker 2 That is quite a contrast, and we could use more good fathers who are active and engaged in parenting and we ought to salute him. So Ron, how can people

Speaker 2 download the app and where can they go to find it?

Speaker 3 CovenantEyes.com.

Speaker 3 If you have and it is available on of course the laptop

Speaker 3 the

Speaker 3 Mac and Windows computers, but also on the iPhone and the Android. And by the way, the

Speaker 3 ratings that we get on on Android and Mac are really pretty impressive. We have

Speaker 3 one and a half million downloads on

Speaker 3 the two

Speaker 3 on Android and iPhone.

Speaker 3 And

Speaker 3 with all those downloads, it is very tough to get a rating above four

Speaker 3 on either platform. But on Android, we have a 4.7 rating from nearly 10,000 reviews.
And on the iPhone, with over a million downloads and nearly 50,000 reviews, we get a 4.3 rating.

Speaker 3 And so it really is,

Speaker 3 you know, our internal data shows that it's successful, but also what people say about it. Bottom line is, if you want to beat porn, accountability works.
And so if you just go to covenantees.com,

Speaker 3 you can download it there. By the way, there is on the iPhone and the Android, there's a free version that we call Victory.

Speaker 3 And the purpose of Victory is to change the course of history by providing content and courses and other information that will help you beat porn. That's totally free.

Speaker 3 And I encourage people to at least get that and then take a look at our accountability program because it really does work.

Speaker 3 By the way,

Speaker 3 there's a phone number at the bottom. We have world-class customer service.
We never get a complaint on our customer service. And they will walk you, if necessary.

Speaker 3 If you're not accustomed to downloading things, and a lot of people aren't,

Speaker 3 all you have to do is call our customer service. They will walk you through it step by step on how to set up your iPhone with parental control, even beyond Covenant Eyes, parental controls

Speaker 3 and all that.

Speaker 2 You know, watching some of these stories, absolutely heart-wrenching.

Speaker 2 The latest I saw today from Julie's feed. And by the way, if you're not following her on X or formerly Twitter, we'll give you the details about how you can follow her.

Speaker 2 Just type in Julie Kelly and she will come up. It's Julie underscore Kelly2.
But she's been following all of this all the way back, following part of President Trump's legal battles as well.

Speaker 2 But she's posted today a story where a judge has told the

Speaker 2 person who's

Speaker 2 being charged that they can't dip in to like go fund me

Speaker 2 basically a fun crowdfed fundraiser in order to help feed the family.

Speaker 2 I mean, something as simple as that. Maybe pay some bills, maybe even legal bills.
I just,

Speaker 2 this stuff, you can't make it up, the insanity, and it's largely not being reported outside of folks like Julie.

Speaker 2 And that's why it's being allowed to happen because there's no sunlight being put on any of this.

Speaker 2 These judges and some of the things that are happening in DC are just happening under the cover of darkness. But hopefully we'll put a bit of an end to that today.
Julie Kelly joins us now.

Speaker 2 Julie, I appreciate you being here with us today.

Speaker 51 Hey, Justin. Thanks for having me on.

Speaker 2 Yeah, this story that

Speaker 2 the judges said they can't use their

Speaker 2 GoFundMe and all that. It's just insanity to me.

Speaker 51 So this is a defendant named Jeremy Grossklose.

Speaker 51 He was not convicted of any violent crime. He wasn't convicted of assaulting police officers or destroying federal property.

Speaker 51 He was found guilty during a bench trial, which means a single judge determines his guilt or innocence.

Speaker 51 And this is Judge Chris Cooper, an Obama appointee who happens to be married to a top chief of former Attorney General Eric Holder.

Speaker 51 And the two were married by none other than current Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Speaker 51 So that should give you a little insight as to, and look, this is universal with these judges having ties either directly themselves through a spouse, whomever,

Speaker 51 to this Department of Justice. Chris Cooper found this man guilty of numerous offenses.
And then at his, when he announced his verdict on Tuesday, the Department of Justice under U.S.

Speaker 51 Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, another Abiden appointee, not only asked for the judge to immediately remand Mr. Gross Klose into custody,

Speaker 51 he snitched on Mr. Gross

Speaker 51 Close's Gift Send Go account. created by his common-in-law wife.
They've been together, he told me since they were 11 years old.

Speaker 51 They have two special needs children together they've raised about forty thousand dollars from the public and this DOJ now is Judge Cooper directed or orally ordered that mr.

Speaker 51 Grossklos not use any of those funds that had been raised and

Speaker 2 how can that even be legal I know what under what

Speaker 2 they don't how are they How are they

Speaker 2 mentally what are the gymnastics that they are going through the hoops to make that a thing? Or is it just that blatant that they don't care?

Speaker 50 They don't care.

Speaker 51 There is no oversight. This is one of many reasons why we need either video or audio feed to every federal criminal district courtroom.

Speaker 51 Because unless you go there, and I have to pay to go to Washington, D.C.,

Speaker 51 sit in the courtroom where no devices are allowed in, you know, the old-fashioned way, write down as much as you can, or you can go into specially allotted media rooms where you can see the proceedings, only the ones that are chosen, by the way, see the proceedings happening live, and then you can, you know, type it out on your computer or post it on social media.

Speaker 51 There's no reason why these trials and proceedings should not be accessible to the public, except for the fact that you have sadistic judges like Judge Chris Cooper, who gets away with all of this because there is no public oversight.

Speaker 51 There's no congressional oversight. I have urged House Republicans after they took over the House, I've asked them, here are judges.

Speaker 51 This is what they're doing under cover of darkness, right down the street from where you guys work. This is what they're doing to American citizens.
You know, haul some before a hearing.

Speaker 51 Let's do our own J-6 committee. Have Judge Chris Cooper explain why he did that, under what law enables him to do that.

Speaker 51 all of these judges why they're holding nonviolent offenders for nearly two years under pretrial detention orders.

Speaker 51 I've got a long list of unconstitutional, more importantly, inhumane things that these judges have done.

Speaker 51 And to your point, unless you cover it, someone like me, you didn't see the corporate media, the JSICS reporters who are assigned to cover January 6th at this courthouse.

Speaker 51 You didn't see them posting about this. And there's a reason why, because because part of it is to promote the agenda, the narrative of JSIC, also to cover up what these judges and DOJ are doing.

Speaker 51 So Mr.

Speaker 51 Gross Closes, public defender, Carmen Hernandez, filed a motion on Wednesday morning asking what law Chris Cooper and the DOJ could cite that enabled him to direct him not to use funds out of a fund he didn't create.

Speaker 51 and he didn't donate to that American citizens have donated to.

Speaker 51 So, look, as I said, one in a very, very long list. And this is why we need public access to especially the D.C.
courthouse.

Speaker 2 Julie Kelly's with us right now talking about the latest in these cases.

Speaker 2 And obviously we had Speaker in the House, Mike Johnson, say that he would release, and we heard this before, but he would release some of these, more of these

Speaker 2 videos, footage from that day. We've seen some of it come out.

Speaker 2 What have you seen

Speaker 2 that you think has

Speaker 2 made a difference? And is there any yet still to come? What's the impact going to be on all of this?

Speaker 51 Well, I think you saw the impact, Justin, not just from people on our side, many of whom have not seen the surveillance video. Of course, I was granted access to it.

Speaker 51 I have seen these videos of police officers standing by, allowing protesters into the building, fist bumping them, doing nothing to indicate that the building was closed or that they were somehow committing a crime.

Speaker 51 But most Americans have not seen this, so they were shocked and outraged that this is the first time they've seen this video.

Speaker 51 And then you saw the reverse reaction from the J6 propagandist in the media, people like Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, reposting well-worn clips of clashes between protesters and police that day as if that is the only thing that happened.

Speaker 51 So they are panicking because the release of these tapes is gradually unraveling their carefully constructed narrative.

Speaker 51 Millions of Americans, including lawmakers and even senators like Mike Lee, are asking questions why this video has not been released and why the January 6th Committee, of course, cherry-picked videos, as we know, only a focus on the alleged role of Donald Trump and not everything else that was happening that day.

Speaker 51 So I applaud Mike Johnson. I do want to say that Speaker McCarthy's office has been working on this for months.

Speaker 51 I know for a fact that they've been trying to work on a platform that was easily accessible to the public because these videos just are not easily accessible.

Speaker 51 But I urge Speaker Johnson to accelerate the rate of release. These are, this is only a teeny, tiny handful of clips.

Speaker 51 He needs to release a lot more on a rolling basis so we can continue the drumbeat to unravel this narrative and push for our own January 6th select committee that will do the actual work in exposing the truth.

Speaker 2 We got to take a quick break here. I want to ask you more about some of these that have been released, but also that committee and whether or not some of the stuff was destroyed.

Speaker 2 We've been hearing that maybe some of the evidence and videos may have been, some of that footage may have been destroyed. I want to see if there's any truth to that.

Speaker 2 We're talking with Julie Kelly right now. We'll be back in just a quick second.
Got to take a quick, just pause in the break here, back after this on the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 2 Julie Kelly's with us right now, and we're talking January 6th.

Speaker 2 And Julie dash, that's underscore Kelly 2 over on X or Twitter, if you want to stay up to date. We'll ask her more about that coming up in a second.

Speaker 2 But we heard some rumors, Julie, that some of this footage or evidence, certainly certainly we know it was doctored we've seen the the way they had left things in or took things out during the committee and the hearings but was any of it

Speaker 2 truth to this that some of this may have been destroyed

Speaker 51 yes and i'm working on a piece about that right now not only that some of the evidence is missing uh and of course they were supposed to this january 6th committee benny thompson the chairman and nancy pelosi are supposed to preserve all records produced during that congressional session and turn that over to the relevant committee.

Speaker 51 So all of this really should have been turned over to the House Administrative Committee.

Speaker 51 Well, Representative Barry Lautermilk has, you know, contrasted what they have versus what investigators and other records show that the committee should have. And there are big discrepancies.

Speaker 51 in the trove that the GOP was given and what the JA6 committee produced.

Speaker 51 Also, per a letter that I received, that someone sent to me between House Republicans and both the Biden White House and Benny Thompson, all the video interviews, remember they cherry-picked all the clips from Cassidy Hutchinson talking about how Donald Trump tried to strangle the Secret Service agent who was driving the limo that day, et cetera.

Speaker 51 All of those videos are missing. They have not been turned over to this committee.
Furthermore, on that note,

Speaker 51 the transcribed interview with Battie Engel, who is driving the beast or whatever they call it, the limo that day, that Cassidy Hutchinson said under oath that Donald Trump tried to strangle him for not taking him to the Capitol, that transcribed interview has not been released publicly either.

Speaker 51 There are hundreds of transcribed interviews, just the records missing, not to mention the videos.

Speaker 51 So I'm doing some work on that. I believe that Representative Lautermilk's committee continues digging into what they have and what they don't have.
And I think that that's a great effort.

Speaker 51 But look, it's time to turn the tables, which is why I detail in a recent Substack piece why the Republicans need to form their own J-6 committee, not the least of which is the videos, videos that are missing, videos like surveillance that have been under protective orders for almost three years.

Speaker 51 But where are the missing records? Why was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi off limits in the J6 committee's investigation?

Speaker 51 Where are the reports of police brutality and use of excessive force that day, which prompted many of the clashes that we saw?

Speaker 51 You have Liz Cheney, who just cherry picks protesters and police in these physical scuffles, but they don't show what police had done for an hour before those scuffles began, which is assault the crowd outside with flashbangs, tear gas, rubber bullets, and pepper balls, which agitated the crowd outside, most of whom were doing absolutely nothing wrong.

Speaker 2 And were these rogue responses or were they orders coming down from somewhere else?

Speaker 51 Well, that's what we need to know. And it's important to note that former chief, Capitol Police Chief Stephen Son,

Speaker 51 who is really the fall guy in all of this, and of course he was...

Speaker 51 gave up his resignation the day after Nancy Pelosi used him as the scapegoat, but he he has publicly testified that he was left in the dark. He was not in communication with the FBI.

Speaker 51 He did not, he was not aware of the dozens of undercover agents from both DC Metropolitan Police, Capitol Police, Department of Homeland Security. We can go on and on.

Speaker 51 He was intentionally left in the dark. Why?

Speaker 51 Which, by the way, left his own officers out to dry as well. But someone ordered MPD, D.C.

Speaker 51 police to start firing on this crowd at about 1.10 that afternoon, which Justin just happened to coincide with the exact time that Donald Trump finished his speech at the ellipse.

Speaker 2 I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Speaker 3 Oh, it's a conspiracy theory.

Speaker 51 Conspiracy theory. That's my favorite.

Speaker 2 Oh,

Speaker 2 so many coincidental moments happening these days. It's hard to keep track of it all.
Julie Kelly with us right now talking January 6th.

Speaker 2 And one of the things that I've seen that's maybe maybe one of the most

Speaker 2 this whole thing is really opening up. Okay, so this is one of the most concerned.
We've heard that they're going to start going after

Speaker 2 people who

Speaker 2 maybe were around,

Speaker 2 maybe didn't do anything, just had

Speaker 2 somehow set foot somewhere in the crowd that day. There has been talk about that.
There has been conversation about what might happen,

Speaker 2 who might they go after next.

Speaker 2 And

Speaker 2 there's something even more frightening, I think, that has devastating effect and impact today,

Speaker 2 not just on that actual day itself. And I'll talk about that in a second.

Speaker 2 But I first want to ask you about what have you heard about how they plan to start opening up because they want to bolster, from what I've seen and heard, maybe you've written about this too, is that

Speaker 2 they want to bolster these numbers and and inflate them as much as they can the closer they get to the election here

Speaker 51 they absolutely do and look they've already been arresting people who never went inside the building the very first article i wrote entitled america's political prisoners back in february of 2021 was the arrest of coy griffin the founder of cowboys for trump he was arrested and denied release at request of Joe Biden's new DOJ, and he was charged with two misdemeanors.

Speaker 51 And he, I believe, had a permit, like many others did,

Speaker 51 to demonstrate on Capitol grounds during the joint session. So he was one of the very first who was charged.
He never went inside the building, neither did someone like Brandon Strzok.

Speaker 51 They tried to destroy him as well. He was also one of the first arrested.

Speaker 51 Matthew Graves, the DCUS attorney appointed by Joe Biden, whose wife, by the way, going back to spouses, runs an extremely influential $100 million nonprofit in Washington.

Speaker 51 This nonprofit and she are very involved in the effort to remove Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court.

Speaker 51 Matthew Grace told the Washington Post last year that he expected the total caseload to reach extend beyond 2,000 individuals. At the time, it was less than half of that.

Speaker 51 Matthew Grace recently bragged in an update for the Capitol Siege investigation as he rebranded it.

Speaker 51 1,200 encounting defendants. You have new arrests announced every week, including this week.

Speaker 51 So they are desperately trying to reach that caseload, but also to keep this in the news as we approach Donald Trump's March 4th trial for January 6th.

Speaker 2 We're not going to let this die down. And Julie, maybe we could talk more with you in the future.

Speaker 2 Obviously, Julie underscore Kelly too over on X, but where else can folks find out how to stay in touch with you?

Speaker 51 Sure. All my recording can be found at my Substack Declassified with Julie Kelly.
I've also done extensive work at Real Clear Investigations, so people can check out my articles there as well.

Speaker 2 Julie Kelly, thank you so much for being here with you. Appreciate your work.
God bless.

Speaker 51 Justin, thanks for having me on YouTube.

Speaker 2 Glenn Beck covering this along with the Blaze.

Speaker 2 You know, this is a story, and they've got details and video that continues to come out that proves some of these folks, these capital police officers, in fact, one very powerful one, perjured, lied on the stand.

Speaker 2 These reports are going to be significant, they're going to be critical,

Speaker 2 and the Blaze will continue to cover it all as far as I'm concerned. I've been hearing all those reports and look forward to hearing more in the future.
We continue to cover that.

Speaker 2 And a story you probably won't hear much about.

Speaker 2 He's in Ireland now, in fact, 15 minutes away from where the riots took place in Dublin. What happened, and how is the media covering and twisting everything that happened overnight last night?

Speaker 2 It dovetails into our immigration crisis here. That next

Speaker 2 The Glenn Bach program.

Speaker 66 Who's there for the families left behind when a service member or first responder dies or is catastrophically injured in the line of duty? Who's helping our nation's homeless veterans?

Speaker 66 And who's helping our nation keep its vow to never forget 9-11? I'll tell you who, the Tunneled Towers Foundation.

Speaker 66 The foundation's in the line of duty programs honor our nation's heroes and their family. That includes its Gold Star, Fallen First Responder, Smart Home, and Homeless Veterans programs.

Speaker 66 The foundation's Never Forget programs engage people in 9-11 remembrance events all across the country. Over 80 runs, walks, and climbs a year, dozens of golf outings and barbecues.

Speaker 66 And the Tunnel to Towers 9-11 Institute is helping educate kids in kindergarten through 12th grade about our nation's darkest day.

Speaker 66 More than 95 cents of every dollar you donate to Tunnel to Towers goes to its programs, and the charity keeps its word and honors our nation's greatest heroes.

Speaker 66 Will you donate $11 a month to Tunnel to Towers? Tunnel to Towers at t2t.org. That's t the number 2t.org.

Speaker 66 It is.

Speaker 2 It is wild to watch, and it's kind of reminiscent to me of the BLM

Speaker 2 and Tifa moments. To see your city burn or to see any riot or anything take place in your own neighborhood,

Speaker 2 it is jarring. I saw that in my city in 2020.

Speaker 2 Living in Grand Rapids at the time when the city burned in some ways, there were riots, windows smashed. It was an incredible moment.
I was on the air during the entire thing.

Speaker 2 And covering it,

Speaker 2 it was in a city that I originally moved to because it felt like Disneyland Clean. It was just that nice.
It was that good.

Speaker 2 The people in West Michigan have their stuff together, and

Speaker 2 it's a beautiful thing.

Speaker 2 We saw it all fall apart in the summer of 2020. So I can't imagine what is happening in Ireland, particularly Dublin, as we hear the story and see the videos coming out of what's

Speaker 2 buses on fire,

Speaker 2 buildings on fire.

Speaker 2 One of the green buses, the footage that's floating around on the internet right now, is

Speaker 2 completely engulfed in flames.

Speaker 2 The words out spray painted on the bus. But the back and forth about what happened and who's responsible in some of this and where it all started

Speaker 2 breaks down to a story that is

Speaker 2 even more

Speaker 2 concerning.

Speaker 2 The media is spinning this today as far-right

Speaker 2 activists have gone off the deep end.

Speaker 2 Well, where this originally started, where

Speaker 2 about five people, I think three of them were children,

Speaker 2 stabbed outside of a school.

Speaker 2 So now, apparently, if you are against, I

Speaker 2 saw this online today. I think that's good.

Speaker 2 Let's keep in track here. If you're against children or anyone being stabbed,

Speaker 2 you are now far right. If you are

Speaker 2 against

Speaker 2 pornography being taught in schools, indoctrination, you are now far right. If you are a feminist and you believe that women should be competing against women, you want to protect them,

Speaker 2 You're now far right. These are crazy.
I don't think we've ever seen times like this. But that's the case.
People are seeing through it, and they are fighting back.

Speaker 2 On the line with us now is Jonathan Dunn, a good friend. In fact, someone who used to work for Glenn and the Blaze here.
He joins us now to talk about, in fact, just 15 minutes away from where he is.

Speaker 2 what has happened over the course of the last few days and where things sell now.

Speaker 2 Jonathan, thank you, my brother, for being here with us today.

Speaker 3 Chop in the morning, brother. Thanks for having me on and hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 It has been. I don't know if it was as eventful as the last couple of days for you.

Speaker 2 Oh, man.

Speaker 2 So break this down.

Speaker 3 I thought I come back to Ireland for a visit.

Speaker 2 Yeah, you've been here in America for a while now and

Speaker 2 went back to take care of your mom and have been doing some time with spending some time with family there. But can you break it down?

Speaker 2 What I just said, can you cover cover it to clean it up and what I just said can you break down what has happened and where things stand right now

Speaker 2 yeah so

Speaker 3 what happened I'll hear the facts of the story and then we can get into the the underlying principles which no one will ever want to discuss um because we don't want to have a discussion today so the fact of the matter is about 1 30 local climb yesterday there's a school got discharged and what we know is there was a person hanging around acting very suspicious had a knife on him and proceeded to stab three young kids and one very is critical and is still, as right now, is still in critical care and is touch and go.

Speaker 3 And one is a carer, and one is the person involved.

Speaker 3 Information is very sketchy coming out from the police. They're not following any other lines of inquiry.
They know exactly who did it. And we do know it's an immigrant, but

Speaker 3 because of the tensions that that brings up, they're not releasing a whole lot of information. Then last night,

Speaker 3 basically, the city went into a bit of craziness and buses were, and the Lewis, which is like a train station, a train that runs on the ground,

Speaker 3 was basically destroyed and put on fire and buildings were looted.

Speaker 3 Buildings were destroyed. The estimates are coming already in a tens of millions of dollars worth of damage.

Speaker 3 So they're the facts of the story.

Speaker 3 What we have is an underlying tension. that is not going to go away until we start having hard conversations with people.
What you have to understand is

Speaker 3 our America is very different in the terms of political. There is a far right in Ireland.
There is a far right in Europe and you should be afraid of them because you have to understand their ideology.

Speaker 3 Likewise, there's a far left. And what you have to understand about these two factions is they hate each other, but they have so much in common.
Their principles are about government.

Speaker 3 And what they disagree on is this. They all believe, if you line down the far left and the far right, it's like, you know, the far left in America and some moderate Republicans.

Speaker 3 They both believe in big government, they both believe in high taxation, they both believe in high regulations, they both believe in childcare,

Speaker 3 healthcare, any government policy you believe, they want us. Where they firmly disagree, where it boils to hatred and willing to kill each other, is the far left are communists.

Speaker 3 And the far right are national socialists. So what one wants is the far left believes in an international type of socialism where everyone comes in.

Speaker 3 We should just accept everyone, whether you're an Irish person, an English person, because there is no Irish person, it's workers of the world unite. You cannot have a national identity.

Speaker 3 You cannot have anything like that. So it's for everyone.
So I'm Irish, you're American, you're Scottish, you're English, you're Lithuanian, you're African, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 Everyone is entitled because it's the workers of the world unite. The far right says no.
It's about the national system, that it's I'm Irish.

Speaker 3 And while I believe in universal health care and universal school system and all these different plans, I believe they are for Irish people only or if I'm living in England, I believe they're for English people only.

Speaker 3 And what you have is the far left and the far right both want chaos. They want this.
They want the destruction of the cities. They want the destruction of civilization.

Speaker 3 And the sad thing is, the far left are winning because if you say something like that, let me give you an example. My mom.
My mom is not very political at all.

Speaker 3 She follows the news, but she's not left or right. You know, she probably doesn't, you know, know too much about the difference of it.

Speaker 3 But one thing I can tell you about my mom that would paint her as a far-right person is she is one of the most proudest Irish persons, people that you'll meet. She loves Ireland.

Speaker 3 She's like, you know, I'm Irish and I love the tricolor and I'm proud to be Irish and I'm so glad I was born here. That is radical thought right now to the far left.

Speaker 3 You know, if you say anything about all these immigrants that have come in to Ireland over the last year, 18 months, you've had the influx of the illegal immigration.

Speaker 3 You've had the influx of the Ukrainian immigration. You now have an influx probably potentially from Palestine and Israel.
If you dare say, hey, should we question who comes into the country?

Speaker 3 Oh, what are you racist and xenophobic?

Speaker 3 Oh, well, we'll take 10,000, but I say we should only take 5,000 people. Oh, there you go.

Speaker 3 Do you hear the racist undertones under there?

Speaker 3 You cannot have a conversation. And this is something we are going to have to deal with.
Because what you're seeing right now is the total destruction of society.

Speaker 3 You said it perfectly beautifully in the intro, where you cannot have an opinion where, you know, if you dare say in Ireland, you know, a man has a penis and a girl has a vagina.

Speaker 3 In Ireland, that's called a hate crime.

Speaker 3 A hate crime.

Speaker 3 That's simple biological fact, but it's a hate crime. They're trying to destroy us.

Speaker 3 And what we have to do is ignore the far left, ignore the far right, and unite as people based on a set of principles. And that is where America comes in.

Speaker 3 Because I hate being the person that always points to America, but it's true. You're the only country, and thank God it's my home now.
So I'm not just pointing it on you.

Speaker 3 I'm doing this myself, where I'm saying we have to understand why America made the world better. And it's not because of America and because of Rar-Rah and the people.
It's because of a set of values.

Speaker 3 What you're seeing is there is no foundational stone in the world. Everything is up for grabs.
There's chaos. If I may quote Jordan Peterson, what we need is a bit of order and structure.

Speaker 3 And the only order and structure that ever came in the history of the world was Christianity and the founding principles of America.

Speaker 2 Jonathan Dunn is with us right now. He's a good friend.
And this conversation, Jonathan, I...

Speaker 2 You know, it's funny because

Speaker 2 we could talk about this. We could go in-depth.
And you and I could probably spend hours talking about it.

Speaker 2 We obviously don't have the time to do that, but you are an immigrant here in America. You've seen this up close and personally.
You've seen the process.

Speaker 2 You've seen how it's played out for you and how it's playing for some right now or just walking across the border.

Speaker 2 I want to talk about that, and I want to dig in a little bit further and touch on the principles, the things that are at stake here.

Speaker 2 What really is the issue? How do we fix these problems, these challenges that we're dealing with right now?

Speaker 2 But I've got to take a quick break. So, if you're going to hang out, if you could, just I know we're, there's a long-distance phone call here overseas.
Jonathan is in Ireland as we speak.

Speaker 2 He's near Dublin there, where just 15 minutes away from him is where these riots took place. And I think, as I watch it, it could be a prelude, a preview.

Speaker 2 It's certainly a warning of things that could come here in America. And as he just mentioned, there's a lot of folks who want to see just that.
They want the chaos. They want the division.

Speaker 2 They want to see it all crumble down around us because then they can remake it into their own image. What do you think Build Back Better is all about, anyway? More after this.

Speaker 2 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck Today on the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 67 George Clooney stars as an actor confronting his past and present on a journey of self-discovery, alongside Adam Sandler as his devoted manager.

Speaker 67 Critics are calling it a declaration of love to the chaotic art of filmmaking, with the Wall Street Journal praising it as a transcendent comedy drama.

Speaker 67 Jay Kelly is now playing in select theaters and on Netflix December 5th.

Speaker 2 Our good Irish friend Jonathan Dunn joins us right now from Dublin, that area where the riots took place yesterday and the story behind it.

Speaker 2 We've been talking about that, and I think it is a prelude of certainly a warning of things that could come here in America as we are being pushed further and further to the brink every day.

Speaker 2 Talking about why that matters. First, I wanted to ask you, I'm going to get into principles and things like that, but first I wanted to ask you, Jonathan, what the process had been like.

Speaker 2 You've been trying to come here for years.

Speaker 2 Finally, you had a chance to come here and work that immigration process, but you're ultimately seeing, as you spent years trying to get here, millions pouring across the border, and every day there's more and more.

Speaker 2 Um,

Speaker 2 how is that to watch that? I just can't imagine.

Speaker 3 Oh, it's

Speaker 3 if you want to do a poor me for like 10 seconds, it's it's it's a really rigged system. Um, you know, it cost me $5,000, $6,000, $7,000.

Speaker 3 I couldn't work for a year.

Speaker 3 I had to go through all immigration questions, basically answer every type of question known to man about my background, you know, my work experience and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 And it's an invasion of privacy. But for me, it's worth it because America is worth it.
And I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 But wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait.
This is why

Speaker 2 we need this process because you are the person who needs to come to America.

Speaker 2 Not somebody who just wants to come here for a free ride or even worse, but you're the kind of person who needs to be in this country because you love it.

Speaker 3 I do, and I'll die for this country. I'm so thankful every day that I get to call America home.
You know, I'm back in Ireland and everyone's saying welcome home and that's great and I appreciate that.

Speaker 3 But my home is Oklahoma, America. I will go down with this ship and I will do everything I can to stand for the values that America made exceptional because I'm seeing the chaos.

Speaker 3 You know, I'm seeing it in Ireland.

Speaker 3 I'm seeing it in our homelands.

Speaker 3 We're not immune or above this. This could happen anywhere.
And you're seeing the far left become more and more radical.

Speaker 3 And if you dare disagree with them, you're a xenophobia or a homophobia or racist and what we need to do is stand up but we just can't stand up and hit back because then if everyone hits back all we get is black eyes everyone what we need to do is stand up and America is the only country that can say we're going to stand up but this is what we're going to stand for we're going to stand for the Constitution we're going to stand for federalism we're going to stand for the individual and you know what else we're going to do And it's because it's become too cliche.

Speaker 3 But we're going to be proud to be an American.

Speaker 3 And I would encourage, if there's any people overseas listening be like my mom be proud to be Irish be proud to be English because if you are it makes it that bit harder for them to destroy you because that is what they want they just want to see you as a cell as a clump of beings as nothing more than a part of a collective the American experience is about the individual I will stand with anyone who stands for the Bill of Rights I will stand with anyone who believes in free markets.

Speaker 3 Because here's the thing, and visiting Ireland has really shown how bad things are. The economy is crazy.
Gas is through the roof. Food prices are through the roof.

Speaker 3 And just the overall optimism for the future.

Speaker 3 America is bad right now. We have a horrifically bad president.
A president who barely knows his own name at any point.

Speaker 3 But you know, as bad as America has it, we still have it that much better than the rest of the world.

Speaker 3 And I think that is the motivation thing we need to get back to and start getting to a set of principles and start looking optimistically because there is no set of values or principles that can compete with the American family principles.

Speaker 3 Jonathan does not work once. And we will do it again.

Speaker 2 I can hear you talk about the greatness of this country all day long. I know folks might want to hear that too.
I know you had a podcast at once. Where can folks follow you and find you online?

Speaker 3 If you look at Freedom's Disciple on Facebook or Twitter, you'll find me, and I'll be making some big news over the next couple of weeks as well.

Speaker 2 Keep an eye on it. Thank you, my brother.
Wishing you the best

Speaker 2 and praying for you and all the folks there.

Speaker 2 The hostages released today, about 25 of them in Israel so far.

Speaker 2 None of them among the

Speaker 2 25 Americans. That story continuing to develop.

Speaker 2 And of course, we'll have the latest for you. The Glenn Back program, it's always a pleasure filling in for Glenn that love this audience.

Speaker 2 Justin Barkley, you can follow me everywhere at Mr.JustinBarkley or justinbarkley.com. God bless America.
