Speaker 1 Ten years from today, Lisa Schneider will train in her office job to become the leader of a pack of dogs. As the owner of her own dog rescue, that is.
Speaker 1 A second act made possible by the reskilling courses Lisa's taking now with AARP to help make sure her income lives as long as she does.
Speaker 1
And she can finally run with the big dogs and the small dogs, who just think they're big dogs. That's why the younger you are, the more you need AARP.

Speaker 1 This
Speaker 1 is
Speaker 1 the Glenback program.
Speaker 2 Oh,
Speaker 2 boy.
Speaker 2
What a week. And what a week it is shaping up to be.
You know, you used to take some time off during this time of year, the holidays.
Speaker 2
And you used to just enjoy it. And not a lot happening.
But these days, the way the news cycle is, it's like drinking from a fire hose. And I think
Speaker 2
right now we've got our mouth right on the hider. It's Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn Beck today.
And boy, oh boy,
Speaker 2 I got to tell you, we're going to do our best to catch up. I don't know if you're still in the turkey hangover or not, but we'll start with Biden and an
Speaker 2 odd character that
Speaker 2 he was joined with yesterday, Al Roker,
Speaker 2 right after this.
Speaker 2 The Glenn Beck Program.
Speaker 3 If you haven't heard about it yet, Legacy Box is a simple and safe way to digitize your treasured videotapes, film reels, things that you don't even know what format that is or what machine plays it.
Speaker 3 They have helped millions of people safeguard their important recorded moments by digitizing them all by hand right here in the U.S.
Speaker 3 You'll get all the originals back alongside the digital copies that will always be protected. It's what Better Homes and Gardens calls the most sentimental gift to make the holiday season special.
Speaker 3 And with their Black Friday event, which is starting right now, more families can enjoy digitizing their home movies and photos with an insane 65% off.
Speaker 3
I've used Legacy Box to save photos that we found while we were remodeling our house. Pictures, they fade over time.
This holiday is the perfect time to preserve those memories.

Speaker 2 You know, while most folks would normally take off, and right now, I think that this time of the year, the holidays,
Speaker 2 there's one
Speaker 2 individual who is sort of off. Well, he's always off.
Speaker 2 Let's just be honest. But
Speaker 2
you would wish and kind of hope that he'd take a little bit more time off. But yesterday he was working.
He was at it. And
Speaker 2 I missed this live.
Speaker 2 I won't really say, I guess I missed it, but I turned the parade on for maybe five seconds yesterday.
Speaker 2
Because it's what you do, right? The morning of Thanksgiving, you get up and you watch the parade. And tend to take it easy yesterday.
I made breakfast for the family.
Speaker 2 We were getting ready. And
Speaker 2 let's turn the parade on for a few minutes.
Speaker 2 And it was,
Speaker 2 I don't think, did they do one last year?
Speaker 2 It was very strange if they did.
Speaker 2 Everything kind of runs together now.
Speaker 2 But I thought it was kind of interesting that this parade, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, there were people you could see out in New York City and they weren't wearing masks.
Speaker 2 I mean, even though they were outside, that's still kind of a big step for a lot of those folks.
Speaker 2 So I thought that was kind of interesting, but I didn't really recognize any of the names, a lot of the people that were going to be these big celebrities. And then I say, okay, Sesame Street.
Speaker 2 A lot of woke, there was like a lot of wokeism that was already starting to come in. And
Speaker 2 these women that were in sort of lingerie or something dancing. And I got
Speaker 2 my little girl here. She's just about ready to turn a year old.
Speaker 2
It's probably not the best for her. Let's just turn this off.
We'll do something else. Can't even watch the parade these days.
And that's when I found out later the day I missed it.
Speaker 2 I don't know if you saw this, but apparently the resident, I call him the resident because I don't really think he's altogether there anyway, Paul.
Speaker 2 I think there are other people behind the strings or behind the scenes pulling the strings, if you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 Biden, Brandon, he decides he's going to call in
Speaker 2 for a
Speaker 2 surprise, and I'm using the air quotes because you can't see me right now, but a surprise phone call with Al Roque. And I tell you, there's nothing.
Speaker 2
surprised about any of this. Everything's planned.
They've got this stuff, and especially when you do a live TV like this, down to the second, everything's planned out, scripted.
Speaker 2
Everything's scripted on TV anyway. It's a lot different than radio.
Here, I just kind of have a bit of an outline.
Speaker 2 I may have like some ideas of things, there's stories that I have bullet points I want to talk about, or whatever.
Speaker 2 And then you got to be flexible because things might come up, or you get a phone call, or I get something that pops up, and you're going to maybe talk about something different.
Speaker 2 So, you got to be able to be fluid,
Speaker 2 like gender, you know, these days. You got to be able to go with the flow, and so uh, it's really different.
Speaker 2 So, that's when uh Roker gets this strange surprise phone call, and here it goes, folks. The residents on the other line, it's what he said
Speaker 2 that has people talking. Wow, oh, hold on, my phone's ringing.
Speaker 4 Just a second.
Speaker 2 Oh, my gosh, look at who's calling.
Speaker 2 Hello, hello, Mr. Brooks.
Speaker 5 Wow, how are you doing, pal?
Speaker 2 How are you doing?
Speaker 4
Oh, Dr. Biden, and Mr.
President, thank you so much. Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Speaker 2 It couldn't be more fake, could it? I mean, this guy is not winning an Oscar anytime soon. I'm sure Al is doing his best.
Speaker 2 He probably likes these guys, so it's not a big deal for him.
Speaker 2
Oh, Dr. Biden, Mr.
Prey. You know, she's a doctor, right?
Speaker 2 Of education. But
Speaker 2
anyway, she's on the phone, and he's on the phone. I don't know.
He probably didn't even dial it. She probably probably dialed it and pushed the phone in his face and said, talk to this guy.
Speaker 2 We've had some lucid moments. Let's get you on TV.
Speaker 5 We had a new firefighter.
Speaker 4
That's right. We had a New York firefighter here.
And it's so good.
Speaker 2 Good for you.
Speaker 2
I have no clue. Maybe there was a firefighter on before this.
I didn't see it live, so I don't know. But he said, ah, firefighter.
Speaker 2 Calling.
Speaker 4 We thank you so much.
Speaker 4 What's your message to the American folks on this Thanksgiving Day?
Speaker 5 my message is after two years you're back america's back there's nothing we're unable to overcome out and you're one of the reasons for that pal you're always up you're always rooting wow well we appreciate it mr president thank you so much i hope you're going to continue to watch the parade sad i don't even know if al
Speaker 2 could believe what he just heard the president say after two years we're back
Speaker 5
america's back there's nothing we're unable to overcome al and you're one of the reasons for that pal. You're always up.
You're always rooting.
Speaker 2 So, this is the we're back now?
Speaker 2 Apparently, we're back, folks.
Speaker 2 That's the message the resident had yesterday for America, for Al Roker, and, of course, the
Speaker 2 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. We're back.
Speaker 2 So, I guess this is what back means.
Speaker 2
Because I had to think, do a double. Back from what? He's back on Nantucket with his billionaire friend spending the weekend there.
Is that what he meant?
Speaker 2 He's back on the phone with Al? I don't know. America's back.
Speaker 2 By the way,
Speaker 2 I'm reporting I was watching Dow Futures
Speaker 2 tumble this morning.
Speaker 2 But America's back was the message the resident had yesterday.
Speaker 2 I don't know about you, but it sure doesn't feel that way.
Speaker 2 In fact,
Speaker 2 I don't know if anyone who's being
Speaker 2 legitimately honest
Speaker 2 could answer the question:
Speaker 2 you feel like we're better off than we were
Speaker 2
four years ago. We don't even have to go four years ago.
How about a year ago?
Speaker 2 Two?
Speaker 2 We're certainly not better. We're certainly not back
Speaker 2 by any stretch
Speaker 2 of the imagination.
Speaker 2 What does back
Speaker 2 look like
Speaker 2 for this administration?
Speaker 2 We'll talk about that coming up because I want to go through the facts.
Speaker 2 I want to go through the list.
Speaker 2 This morning, by the way, as we hear with the latest news,
Speaker 2 there is
Speaker 2 another variant of concern.
Speaker 2 Yes, a dangerous variant that is making its way across the globe
Speaker 2 that we all must be afraid of.
Speaker 2 Be very, very afraid.
Speaker 2
First, we have the Delta variant. That's not enough.
Apparently, I didn't scare people enough. It was supposed to target your kids.
Remember the Delta Variant, the dreaded Delta variant. Oh, goodness.
Speaker 2
Now, that's not enough. We have a new variant out of South Africa, apparently, that is all the raids.
We'll talk about that a little later on this morning. But
Speaker 2 in every category, in every area,
Speaker 2 I don't know that there's one place that you could pick and say, you know, we're actually better off
Speaker 2 than we were, specifically in COVID. More people have died this year
Speaker 2 than last year.
Speaker 2 And that's with
Speaker 2 a jab.
Speaker 2 The
Speaker 2 data
Speaker 2
tells the truth. And remember, we're supposed to listen to the science and the data.
And it's not just the polling data
Speaker 2
and the political science. Because, boy, I'll tell you what, that's not in his favor either.
We'll run through that list. Are we really back
Speaker 2 after this? It's Justin Barkley in for Glenbeck this morning, the Glenbeck program.
Speaker 3 You've heard me talking about my pillow for years and how it's changed the way I sleep.
Speaker 3 Mike Lindell, the inventor of MyPillow, fitted me personally for my own My Pillow because I told him, I said, I don't think I really like him. And he said, wait, I think you have the wrong one.
Speaker 3
Got me the king-size pillow. It has changed the way I sleep.
It will not go flat. You could wash and dry it constantly and it stays the same amazing shape.
Speaker 3 You fluff it once before you go to sleep, and it's that way. Best of all, it's made right here, so you don't have to worry about are there going to be my pillows on the shelves.
Speaker 3 Along with the lowest price offer, Mike is also extending his money-back guarantee trial until March 1st of next year, so it makes a great Christmas gift.
Speaker 3 You can get the standard My Pillow for $19.98, originally $69.98, a $50 savings, and the king-size pillow is $10 more. Go and see all their rotating discounts, over 150 MyPillow products.

It's mypillow.com. Promo code Beck.
Speaker 2 Hey, live from Grand Rapids, Michigan, high atop the thriving metropolis. This very cold, a little bit of snow
Speaker 2 to the rest of America, it's Justin Barkley in today for Glen Beck on the Glen Beck program. Hey, by the way,
Speaker 2 if you want to reach out to me, I'll give you the phone number here in a second. I've got a text line, and you can text me during the entire program today.
Speaker 2 And the great thing about this is that I can actually see what you say while I'm on the air.
Speaker 2 So if you've got a comment, something you want to add to the program, you can, and vice versa, I can send things back to you as well. Here's the number: 616 is the area code, 201-3353.
Speaker 2 616-201-3353. So a couple of questions, and you can answer me here on the text if you want, but very simply, are we better off?
Speaker 2 I think the only person who thinks so may be
Speaker 2 the man who's brain dead in his basement.
Speaker 2 There's just no way. In fact, the polling shows.
Speaker 2 This is just a man who is increasingly less and less popular every day. The only person who is less popular than this
Speaker 2 resident is the vice resident.
Speaker 2
She is the only one who is, in fact, less popular than him. And I saw a story yesterday, I think it was New York Post.
The polling's so low now, especially where he's in an end tucket,
Speaker 2 I guess, with the billionaire friend of his staying the weekend at the compound there, polling in the single digits
Speaker 2 from one resident at least who flipped him a digit
Speaker 2
yesterday when he was making his way through in the motorcade. Very interesting, nevertheless.
But
Speaker 2
it's that type of feeling out there. So, what would you add to this list? Because I was just making a bit of a list, and here's what I got.
I mean, more people have died this year than last from COVID
Speaker 2 from the RONA.
Speaker 2 And that's with
Speaker 2 a jab.
Speaker 2 And not just one, two.
Speaker 2
And then the various boosters. You know, you might need to get a, but might be, but might have a booster for you.
You might need to get one every month.
Speaker 2 You might have to, it could be problematic because maybe
Speaker 2 the efficacy isn't as good as it was.
Speaker 2 And so maybe you might need to get an extra booster over here. I don't know.
Speaker 2 That's the high priest of health, by the way.
Speaker 2
With the boosters. So we've got all these boosters.
We've got all these people. Their jobs are being threatened, forced out.
Actually, I have a very good.
Speaker 2 i won't say the full relationship we've close family uh friend who actually had it this individual is a nurse working
Speaker 2 front lines
Speaker 2 these are heroes
Speaker 2 and how fast did we go from one year hero to zero so quickly
Speaker 2 frontline worker
Speaker 2
She had it. Forced to work without any actual protection, no jab during this entire time on the front lines, just because she cared.
She actually works
Speaker 2 at a veterans home.
Speaker 2 She's serving some of the folks who, in a lot of cases, are forgotten, left behind.
Speaker 2 But she's part of the force of the folks that actually
Speaker 2 serve these individuals.
Speaker 2 And so she got it last year, it was about this time, Miss Christmas with the family.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 another interesting piece was wearing an N95 mask the entire time she was at work.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 2 she is now, even though she still has not regained her sense of taste or smell,
Speaker 2 and still has issues, and even been told by doctors, yeah, you may not want to get this
Speaker 2
right after, you know. In fact, you have the antibodies already.
She's taken tests, found that she has them.
Speaker 2
But because of the CMS mandate, she's been told, get the jab or lose your job. So people are being forced out of work.
No jab, no job. I don't even think she can test everyone.
Speaker 2 I think she would if she could.
Speaker 2 She's facing that staring down the barrel of possibility. And
Speaker 2 at the age of near retirement,
Speaker 2 And there are what? 13 states, I think it was, that are now suing a part of that action. And that's separate again
Speaker 2 from the OSHA Department of Labor issue. And that is also separate from the DOD.
Speaker 2 And so there's several different prongs of this
Speaker 2 administration
Speaker 2 that is trying to administer all these different rules and mandates to us
Speaker 2 That may, in fact,
Speaker 2
be illegal. I would argue they are.
In fact, what, now the 6th District is taking this up, specifically the OSHA
Speaker 2 issue.
Speaker 2
And that maybe just gets thrown out altogether. They put a halt on it.
And the Biden administration's gone out and said, hey, no, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Speaker 2
If you're a company, if you're a big employee, still put this into place. Go ahead and move forward.
The rules and the laws don't really matter to these people. They don't care.
Speaker 2 So what else do we have on that list?
Speaker 2 What does Build Back Better look like? What does America's back
Speaker 2 actually
Speaker 2 look like? And now after two years, he said.
Speaker 5
In two years, you're back. America's back.
There's nothing we're unable to overcome now.
Speaker 2 There's nothing we're unable to
Speaker 2 undo, apparently, is, I think, the real phrase he was looking for.
Speaker 2 So what else is on that list? And I'd also add empty store shelves,
Speaker 2 supply chain issues. And I think a lot of those crunches have still a lot to do with the fact that, you know, government continues to meddle in everything.
Speaker 2 If you look at what happened over the last couple of years, you always see the reporting
Speaker 2 nowadays.
Speaker 2 Well, because of the pandemic.
Speaker 2
Because of the pandemic, you know, these jobs were in pandemic. Because of the pandemic, this happened.
Because of the pandemic, economically, that happened.
Speaker 2 It's very similar to the reporting on what happened in Waukesha
Speaker 2 last weekend. Now we're starting to see that apparently it wasn't a man
Speaker 2
who had some serious issues, was just out on bail, by the way. What, a thousand bucks? Long, long rap sheet.
Should never have been let out of jail. Never.
Speaker 2 He decides he's going to plow into a Christmas parade, run people down, killing innocent children.
Speaker 2 And they want to run these reports to say that the SUV
Speaker 2 did it.
Speaker 2 The SUV, and there was an accident that happened.
Speaker 2 So it's very similar.
Speaker 2 We don't call it like it is. And the truth is, it wasn't the pandemic that caused all this chaos nationwide.
Speaker 2 It was government overreach.
Speaker 2 It was the folks in the Build Back Better
Speaker 2
clan over here that caused these issues. Our governor here in Michigan shut businesses down.
This time last year, you couldn't go into a restaurant. They had restaurants outside.
Speaker 2
You could go and sit in a tent outside, but you couldn't go inside. So the outside was inside.
You could be inside outside as long as you just weren't inside.
Speaker 2 She had crazy rules. You can go into certain stores, big chain stores, but not mom and pops, because we all know that that's where the virus spreads.
Speaker 2 You could buy certain things when you're in those stores, but you couldn't buy, you know, like paint.
Speaker 2 The pot stores were open. You want an abortion? Go get it.
Speaker 2 It was the people and the response or the overreaction that caused these issues and continue to do so.
Speaker 2
So the empty store shelves, I don't know when they clear up. I don't know when that happens.
We are starting to see some movement there, but I just don't know. Gas prices?
Speaker 2
Have you seen the gas prices? Through the roof. And then he goes and releases what this strategic supply that we've got.
And this thing is only making matters worse.
Speaker 2 So Biden says he's America's back, and we are, folks,
Speaker 2 things are better than ever.
Speaker 2 All as he sits.
Speaker 2 In a compound owned by a billionaire friend on the island of Nantucket.
Speaker 2 Let them eat cake.
Speaker 2 Let them eat cake, he says.
Speaker 2 Well, folks,
Speaker 2
we're just barely starting to scratch the truth. We'll get to more of it.
And why is this all happening? The behind the scenes coming up next.

Speaker 2 Hey, welcome back to the Glenbeck Program in for Glenn today.
Speaker 2 Justin Barkley
Speaker 2
at Mr. Justin Barkley on Facebook and Twitter.
You can follow me there. And again, if you'd like to text me while I'm on the air today, your message will go straight to me.
Speaker 2
And that way you can join in the conversation if you like. And then I can send you stuff as well.
Here's that number. Area code 616-201-3353.
That's 616-201-3353.
Speaker 2 I'd love to hear from you. But again, all of this
Speaker 2
as the resident himself, Biden says yesterday, America is back, baby. Two years, and here we go.
He was with Al Roker
Speaker 2 on the phone as Al was
Speaker 2 on the parade route there yesterday, Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Speaker 5
Two years, you're back. America is back.
There's nothing we're unable to overcome, Al. And you're one of the reasons for that, Pal.
You're always up. You're always rooting.
Speaker 4
Well, we appreciate it, Mr. President.
Thank you so much. I hope you're going to continue to watch the parade.
Santa is coming. Santa is is coming, Mr.
Speaker 2 President.
Speaker 5 I'm waiting for Santa.
Speaker 2 All right.
Speaker 4 Well, listen, happy Thanksgiving to both of you, from our family to yours. Thank you, thank you, and happy Thanksgiving.
Speaker 5 Wish you're there with you, Al. Nice to see you, pal.
Speaker 2 Can you imagine? Is Santa coming? Is Santa going to bring gas prices back down?
Speaker 2 Maybe Trumpy Claus could do that. Maybe DeSantis Claus
Speaker 2 could do that. Maybe anybody with half a brain could do that.
Speaker 2 But it's not just incompetence. Because I look at this
Speaker 2
quite often. I don't know about you, but I have this discussion in my head that goes back and forth.
It's this
Speaker 2 pure incompetence at a level which we've never seen before. Or is there something more
Speaker 2 going on here?
Speaker 2 Is it intentional?
Speaker 2 That's something to think about. Our next guest here, James Simpson, an author.
Speaker 2 You've heard him on the Glenback program before, and I just wanted to have him back on to talk about some of the things that we're seeing and why they may be happening and what's really happening behind the scenes here.
Speaker 2 He's the author of Who Was Karl Marx, The Men, the Motives, and the Menace Behind Today's Rampaging American Left.
Speaker 2
Mr. Simpson, thanks for joining us today.
I appreciate you being here with us.
Speaker 7 Hey, Justin, happy Thanksgiving. Great to be with you.
Speaker 2
Thanks for having me. Hey, you too, my friend.
Yeah, I was just looking at this list of what America being back means. And apparently, that's
Speaker 2
the stock market taking a big hit this morning. It's down because it is, well, they say they're afraid of this new COVID variant.
That's part of it.
Speaker 2 I'm sure it has nothing to do with all the rest of the chaos that we're seeing.
Speaker 2 More people dead from COVID this year than last, even though we have jabs. Those jabs look like the efficacy is
Speaker 2 questionable, so you've got to continue to get them every couple of months, it looks like. For now, at least.
Speaker 2 Empty store shelves, gas prices through the roof, people forced out of work because no jab, no job. That's just, I'm barely scratching the
Speaker 2 list here, but what the debacle that took place in Afghanistan, the fact that we continue to look weak
Speaker 2 on the world stage. James, I don't have time to go through the whole list here,
Speaker 2 but is this intentional?
Speaker 7
Yeah, it absolutely is. It's unmistakable that it's intentional, in fact.
Even though
Speaker 7 Joe Biden is really mentally challenged, I mean, he proved it in just that little short statement where he
Speaker 7 bumbled his words.
Speaker 7 You know, Communist China is his Santa Claus, and they have paid him and his son enormous amounts of money, and he is now doing their bidding. But the entire agenda of the left, and he is hard left.
Speaker 7 He may not actually be a communist, but he has been doing the bidding of our enemies since he was elected
Speaker 7 many decades ago.
Speaker 7 He was
Speaker 7 put into office by an organization called the Council for a Livable World, which was founded by a guy named Leo Zillard.
Speaker 7 who was a Manhattan Project scientist, and the Soviets called him their most reliable source for information on the atomic bomb.
Speaker 7 So in other words, he was committing treason and he founded this anti-nuclear organization to
Speaker 7 put up people
Speaker 7 to run for office to do their bidding. And Joe Biden has always voted with the Soviets in the Senate.
Speaker 7 I mean, it's really stunning that he gets away with being considered a moderate, which he is nothing of the sort.
Speaker 7 He's really just basically somebody who is so unethical that he's willing to
Speaker 7
work for the highest bidder. And the highest bidder over the last few years has been the Communist Chinese.
And he's been doing their bidding. But the overall issue was
Speaker 7
the left has always, their goal has always been to destroy our country. They have always worked with our enemies.
And
Speaker 7 this is deliberate, deliberate manufactured crisis. And in fact, in my book, Who Was Karl Marx, I have a whole chapter on orchestrated crisis where the goal and in fact that was what Glenn Beck first
Speaker 7 discovered my work on the crisis strategy back in 2009, and he did a series of shows based on the research, largely, well, a lot of it anyway, that I provided through my writing. And
Speaker 7 it's all about overwhelming the system with problems, creating fractures in society,
Speaker 7 just
Speaker 2 deluging us with problems.
Speaker 7 They started with welfare, but now it is in everything they do. The border, swamping the border,
Speaker 7 all the chaos, all the legal chaos, letting people out of jails,
Speaker 7
no bond. All of these things are designed to create chaos, uncertainty in our country, all of it.
And he is leading the parade right now.
Speaker 2 James Simpson's with us right now, author.
Speaker 2 And let me ask you, because you particularly mentioned this bail reform issue and some of these things that we've been hearing about, but
Speaker 2 the man who drove that SUV, I know that CNN and MSNBC and the rest of them want you to think that the SUV was responsible for the killing there in Waukesha.
Speaker 2 But the man who was behind the wheel should have actually been in jail.
Speaker 2
And there's great conversation about that. Apparently, he was out on a $1,000 bail.
He's got a lengthy rap sheet.
Speaker 2 But
Speaker 2 this notion of this bail reform,
Speaker 2 this is nothing new, is it? I mean,
Speaker 2 this is part of the intention, the crises.
Speaker 7 Yeah, no,
Speaker 7
it absolutely is. And I mean, he was out on bail after trying to run over his girlfriend.
Uh you know, so uh take a cue there.
Speaker 2 Uh he
Speaker 7
all of that. I mean, you know, we're seeing now district attorneys around the country, the most prominent of whom is Chasa Boudin, San Francisco DA.
He's the guy who can be credited with turning
Speaker 7 San Francisco into
Speaker 7 pardon the expression, poop city.
Speaker 7 You know, he led the charge on the
Speaker 7 letting people out of jail, zero bail.
Speaker 7 He is the adopted son of weather underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn. His mother, Kathy Boudine,
Speaker 7 and his father went to prison for murdering a prison, murdering a
Speaker 7 either a police, one of the three men killed in the
Speaker 7 Nyack, New York Brinks robbery in 1980 or 81. I forget what year it was.
Speaker 7
And they were doing life. They both got out early.
Kathy Boudin now teaches at Columbia.
Speaker 2 But
Speaker 7 Chase Boudin's a communist just like them. Before he was
Speaker 7 San Francisco DA,
Speaker 7 he was an advisor to Hugo Chavez in
Speaker 7 Venezuela. And so these people, their goal is to do whatever they can to disrupt,
Speaker 7
divide us. It's a divide and conquer strategy.
It's really a military strategy to overthrow our country. That's how you have to look at it.
Speaker 2 So it's no wonder James Simpson, the author of Who Was Karl Marx, The Man, the Motives, and the Menace Behind Today's Rampaging American Left, it's no wonder why we constantly feel divided and
Speaker 2 are divided by folks in the military, politicians, or not military, but media, politicians.
Speaker 2 It's actually media now, or military now, because we've got Millie out there saying, yeah, I want to know about white rage. So, I mean, it's in every
Speaker 2
it's coming at us from every angle. And again, as I mentioned, you know, this is either another level of sheer incompetence or it's intentional.
And James, you're saying it is.
Speaker 2 This is coming from people who hate America and want a revolution. Is that what I'm hearing?
Speaker 7 Yeah, no, that's exactly right. And
Speaker 7 the most stunning thing about it is they don't want the revolution. They want us
Speaker 7 to launch the revolution because that way they will have the pretext to clamp down.
Speaker 7 And you know, Obama began purging good people from the military the minute he got into power, and he spent eight years replacing good people with really, really bad people.
Speaker 7 And in particular, I hate to say this, but you know, the gay rights and transgender rights issue, you know, now permeates the military.
Speaker 10 And now why did they do that?
Speaker 7 Do they really care about gay rights or transgender rights or any kind of rights? No.
Speaker 7 What they have done is put and I, you know, I can't
Speaker 7 don't take me to say
Speaker 7 I think everybody who's gay and joins the military hates America. But the fact of the matter is that a lot of them do, and they have said so.
Speaker 7 They would be more than willing to shoot Americans, which is not something that was true of the military 10, 15, 20 years ago. And so
Speaker 7 they are literally
Speaker 7
corrupting and sabotaging our military, and it also affects good order, morale, and discipline. And so people in the military are really demoralized.
I had the opportunity to meet Matthew Lohmeyer
Speaker 7 last week, who wrote the book about how he was fired from the Air Force. He was an
Speaker 7
instructor fighter pilot. And he was fired from the Air Force because he raised the issue with his superiors that they were teaching Marxism in the Air Force.
And he was fired.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 7 so that kind of thing just demoralizes the ranks.
Speaker 7 This
Speaker 7 forcing people to take the shot
Speaker 7 is an effort to push out people who don't want to take the shot, who, as you and I, I think, understand, are much more likely to be on the conservative side than the liberal side. And so
Speaker 7 he's deliberately sabotaging and weakening the military and honestly setting us up for attack.
Speaker 7 Because when our enemies see us in this degraded state where our economy is also being sabotaged, it just astounds me that he talks about how we're back. It's just amazing.
Speaker 7
The stock market is really worried. That's why the stock market's been going up and down.
It can't make up its mind about Joe Biden. And I think pretty soon
Speaker 7 here on, it's going to finally say, uh-oh, now we know who this guy is, and you're going to see the stock market go down. But the whole thing is to weaken us at every aspect, divide us,
Speaker 7 and hopefully provoke us into
Speaker 7 a genuine insurrection so that they can then have the pretext to clamp down and silence us.
Speaker 2 All right. So, James, we can
Speaker 2 hang on to that thought because I think this is maybe the most important part. Because as things continue to get worse, you kind of wonder yourself, can it get worse?
Speaker 2 And I guess the answer is yes, and it will.
Speaker 7 It can only
Speaker 7 get worse.
Speaker 2
Especially if it's by design. James Simpson, the author of Who Was Karl Marx? Hang on if you can with us.
Through the break, we'll come back.
Speaker 2
I want to talk about it, because we talked about the problems, but I want to get into solutions. Justin Barkley, in for Glenn Beck Today, and the Glenn Beck program.
We're back right after this.
Speaker 2 The Glenbeck Program.
Speaker 12 Born from the tragedy of 9-11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has been honoring America's heroes ever since.
Speaker 12 This year, the foundation is bringing 200 mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and to our nation's most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
Speaker 12 Frank Siller connected where America was attacked on foot from the Pentagon to Shanksville to downtown Manhattan, where he retraced his brother's footsteps on 9-11.
Speaker 12 Thanks to your support, Towers of Light returned to the Pentagon and Shanksville memorials again this year.
Speaker 12 For the first time, our country recognized the people we lost to 9-11-related illness through the Foundation's ceremony. And another first is planned for Veterans Day.

All right, so it seems as though we're jumping from crisis to crisis, one emergency to the next. James Simpson, author, says that's intentional.
It's because they're trying to force us into something.
Speaker 2 What should or shouldn't we do? I know we only got 30 seconds here or so, but I think this may be the most important part for us to hear today, James.
Speaker 2 My answer: stand up and say no.
Speaker 7 That's what we have to do. And as more people willing to risk standing up come out, more people will be encouraged by that.
Speaker 2 What is that?
Speaker 2 What does that look like, though? Yeah, what does stand-up look like? Because you said they're trying to force us into a revolution.
Speaker 7 The best example recently are the 12 jurors in the Rittenhouse trial who stood up to the mob and said no.
Speaker 7 They looked at the evidence and it was crystal clear that this was self-defense.
Speaker 7
For them to decide anything else would have been to rule of the mob. We have to stand up and say no.
There's 17 pages in my book describing specifics of how we can do that.
Speaker 2 Lawfully, peacefully.
Speaker 2
James Simpson, I appreciate that. Who was Karl Marks in the name of the book? You can grab it online or anywhere books are sold.
James, thank you so much for being here with us today.

Speaker 2 Well, I hope you had a great holiday eating dry turkey and overcooked stuffing on stolen land yesterday.
Speaker 2 That according to the Twitter account of Black Lives Matter, verified on Twitter, by the way.
Speaker 2 I know I did, and now I'm geared up for a
Speaker 2 fun capitalist Black Friday.
Speaker 2 That ought to drive him even
Speaker 2
battier. But we'll get into all of that and some of the wild things that are happening.
As you've been hearing
Speaker 2 the crises after crises, one after another,
Speaker 2 intentional? Yes.
Speaker 2 And what's happening in the schools is even more concerning. We'll talk about the latest, a Michigan teacher resigning
Speaker 2
over a pride flag. But it's not what you think.
There's some good news baked in. We'll talk about it
Speaker 2 after this. It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn Taylor on the Glenn Beck program.
Speaker 2 The Glenn Beck Program
Speaker 3 Every day in this country, the left is doing its best to make sure the next generation of kids, that's your kids, your grandkids, that they don't know where they came from.
Speaker 3
They don't understand liberty and American exceptionalism. That's what we are fighting every single day.
The left's bad ideas with the good ideas, but who's teaching the good ideas?
Speaker 3
This is precisely what the Tuttle Twins books do. They teach your kids and your grandkids about American values in a fun and interesting way.
The books are incredibly important.

Speaker 2 I'm always, or have been at least for the last few years, a little twisted, a little conflicted on
Speaker 2 this holiday and others like Columbus Day, for example.
Speaker 2 I was adopted growing up, and I found out a couple of years back that I have
Speaker 2 some Native American heritage.
Speaker 2 I have some Native American blood in me, in fact.
Speaker 2 Not enough to get a check.
Speaker 2 But, you know, I find it interesting. So I dig into
Speaker 2 some of this. And there's one particular, there's apparently a chief in my history somewhere back in the family tree in the Alabama Cherokee something.
Speaker 2 I don't know enough about it to talk at any sort of length of intelligibility on it, it, but I found that to be kind of interesting.
Speaker 2 So, when people, like, you know, the Black Lives Matter Twitter account comes out with this posting about
Speaker 2 the
Speaker 2 dry turkey, the overcooked stuffing on stolen land, I think to myself, well, whose land was it before they got there?
Speaker 2 Because
Speaker 2 these folks, indigenous,
Speaker 2 I mean, they were moving around, and
Speaker 2 there was, in fact, other tribes that they were
Speaker 2 in conflict with at some point in time over that land.
Speaker 2 So, I guess all land would be stolen at some point.
Speaker 2 It's really crazy to me. I think the biggest problem we have is we focus on the wrong things.
Speaker 2
Let me give you an example. I just saw this this morning.
I thought, oh, my goodness.
Speaker 2 Here we go again. Go woke, go broke, by the way.
Speaker 2 And this is particularly disturbing because it's a great organization that does a lot of good. But the news is this morning that the Salvation Army,
Speaker 2 according to the Daily Wire, the story I'm reading here, wants white donors to, quote, offer sincere apology for their racism.
Speaker 2 This is just as crazy as now am I having to struggle with the fact that is the white side of me the problem or
Speaker 2 the indigenous side of me?
Speaker 2 I didn't even know that I had any of this until
Speaker 2 maybe I at one point now I start to sort of figure this out.
Speaker 2 And with kids, I'm hearing stories about kids in schools that are going through the CRT or the DEI, whatever they call it, critical racist theory
Speaker 2 or die.
Speaker 2
Call it that. Diversity, equity, inclusion, whatever they call it.
They're constantly looking for different names because they want to keep parents on their toes.
Speaker 2 Again, intentional, but they're indoctrinating the kids.
Speaker 2 And so there are stories that I've heard about kids that'll come home, and one parent's white, one parent's black, and these kids are melting down because they don't know what to think.
Speaker 2 And they're completely confused by all of this.
Speaker 2 Divide and conquer again
Speaker 2 is
Speaker 2 you know,
Speaker 2 daddy's white and mommy's black, and is daddy evil and racist? Is he oppressing mommy?
Speaker 2 It just, you cannot, no one ever wins in this hierarchy of this
Speaker 2 woke-ness.
Speaker 2 So the Salvation Army, again, I think, is falling hook line and sinker for the charity is asking its white donors to do more than just drop some coins into the kettle, they say.
Speaker 2 Leaders of the Army want whites to apologize for being racist.
Speaker 2 Here's the quote, they say. The desire is that salvationists achieve the following, the Army says.
Speaker 2 An online resource titled Let's Talk About Racism, listing several goals, including to lament, repent, and apologize for biases or racist ideologies held and actions committed.
Speaker 2 The resource claims Christianity is inherently racist and calls for white Christians to repent and offer a sincere apology.
Speaker 2 Whoever wrote this and whoever allowed this to go out from the Salvation Army
Speaker 2 is purely evil.
Speaker 2 This can't be a mistake. If it is, boy, I hope they repent.
Speaker 2 To say that Christianity is inherently racist?
Speaker 2 I mean, it's a religion
Speaker 2 that's really based on
Speaker 2 a man of color, Jesus, a Jew,
Speaker 2 that the folks who are of that religion worship.
Speaker 2 There's no logic to any of this.
Speaker 2 Furthermore, if we break this down,
Speaker 2 the the CRT, the wokeism, etc.,
Speaker 2 I think Christians are especially
Speaker 2 vulnerable to this because you want to
Speaker 2 do the right thing, you want to be kind, you want to be nice.
Speaker 2 But they're all too often, I think, being led astray.
Speaker 2 How am I supposed to repent
Speaker 2 for the sins of the white man or my ancestors?
Speaker 2 I can't barely, you know, really
Speaker 2 handle what I'm dealing with on a daily basis.
Speaker 2 That's why I've got to give it to God.
Speaker 2 In fact, my religion, that's why it says in my faith that Christ died for me and my sins, you too.
Speaker 2 It is that redemption
Speaker 2 that these folks miss.
Speaker 2 The price has already been paid. The battle's been won.
Speaker 2 And it's just sad to see that Salvation Army, a great organization that has done so much
Speaker 2 work in the past, powerful work, made such an impact,
Speaker 2 would be led astray.
Speaker 2 But this go woke, go broke infects everybody.
Speaker 2 Well, here's some interesting news. The word sex offender,
Speaker 2 they say, is to be replaced by adults who commit sexual offenses in Colorado. Wouldn't want to offend anyone.
Speaker 2 Just like the man who
Speaker 2 drove into that parade at Christmas. Now, the media organizations are saying that
Speaker 2 his SUV was responsible for that, that he wasn't.
Speaker 2 So let me get this straight. I'm not responsible for what my SUV does.
Speaker 2 I'm not responsible for myself, but I'm responsible for the fact that slavery was a thing in this country at one point.
Speaker 2 Despite the fact that we were one of the first countries to say, hey, we stand up, no, we don't want this anymore.
Speaker 2
To throw it off. Slavery is still happening throughout the world in a lot of places.
We don't talk about that, though.
Speaker 2 We talk about what happened here hundreds of years ago because we focus on the wrong thing. You know, it's interesting because yesterday is such a big holiday, Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 I think it's so important for us. We often miss the boat.
Speaker 2 You know, the Bible says enter his gates with Thanksgiving and praise. But I think the power of gratitude, focusing on what's good,
Speaker 2 focusing on what's right.
Speaker 2 Instead of spending all of our time focusing on
Speaker 2 maybe a piece of negative or maybe something that
Speaker 2
isn't so perfect in our world. Do we have issues? Of course, we're human.
We're always going to have issues.
Speaker 2 But we live in the best country in the history of the world.
Speaker 2 We enjoy freedom.
Speaker 2 We enjoy lifestyle. We enjoy
Speaker 2 an amazing amount of abundance and prosperity that's never,
Speaker 2 never before been enjoyed.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 I think it all has to do with our founding in this country. I think it all has to do
Speaker 2 with the
Speaker 2 relationship
Speaker 2 of faith
Speaker 2 that those folks had
Speaker 2 even back years ago when they came on the Mayflower with their creator.
Speaker 2 Lots of folks had talked about this.
Speaker 2 But I will tell you that it's no mistake.
Speaker 2 It is by intention that this nation is great.
Speaker 2 And it is by intention
Speaker 2 that the attempt to dismantle it piece by piece is happening all around us today, specifically in schools.
Speaker 2 In fact, I had an opportunity to sit down and hear somebody speak on what's happening in our schools right now.
Speaker 2 If you've got kids in schools or grandkids in schools, you're going to want to hear what she has to say because what she said, I'd never heard before.
Speaker 2 I thought I'd heard it all, but I'd never heard this. Coming up, our next guest shines a light on some of the just wild things that are happening with your kids in our schools after this.
Speaker 2 It's Justin Barkley Inn for Glenn Today on the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 2 Well, it's happening in our schools right under our noses. Parents,
Speaker 2 some of the things that I heard most recently are just
Speaker 2 so
Speaker 2 sad
Speaker 2 and quite frankly, disgusting.
Speaker 2 You won't want to miss this, our next guest. But first, right here in Michigan, this story broke the other day and the media is treating this man like he's a martyr.
Speaker 2 He's resigned over a pride flag in his room. But that's because he was told to take it down.
Speaker 2 Yes, parents, you're winning.
Speaker 2 Officials at the school and administration told him and everyone else to take their flags down because they had challenges, legal challenges, from parents saying, wait a minute, why are you pushing politics
Speaker 2 in
Speaker 2 class?
Speaker 2
Skip the politics. Let's stick with arithmetic or whatever subject you're supposed to teach.
This man
Speaker 2 took to some sort of social media and made this announcement.
Speaker 15 After 10 plus years in education, I tendered my resignation today, drove home for the last time, and won't be returning.
Speaker 15 I was already feeling a high level of teacher burnout and struggling to meet the day-to-day demands of the education field.
Speaker 15 But when administration came around and told me I had to take down my pride flag, I told them no, I was not going to be an active participant in the suppression and oppression of an already marginalized group that I'm a part of.
Speaker 2 This is Russell Ball, 33-year-old phys ed and health teacher. Now, my health teacher was teaching sex ed too.
Speaker 2 So, I think that's probably the case here.
Speaker 2 And I think it's important to the situation. This individual says he's bisexual, and that's why he was displaying that flag in class.
Speaker 2 I don't really think that politics have any place in that classroom, specifically your
Speaker 2 politics of what you do in the bedroom.
Speaker 2 You do what you want to do, but at the end of the day, I don't think we need to talk to our kids about that. In fact, I don't think you need to be talking to my kids about any of that.
Speaker 2
But they are, and so much more. And what I heard really disturbed me less than a month ago.
Abby Johnson joins us right now.
Speaker 2 Abby,
Speaker 2 they made a movie about her experience. You will know her, recognize her name.
Speaker 2 The movie Unplanned is how she really went from one of the top Planned Parenthood officials at one point to someone who has just drastically changed by her relationship with Christ and her faith.
Speaker 2 Abby, thank you so much for being here with us today.
Speaker 9 Yeah, of course. Thanks for having me on.
Speaker 2 So much we could talk about, but I really
Speaker 2 want you to sort of give you an opportunity to
Speaker 2 expose what's happening in the classrooms because some of the things I heard you talk about, and it's been happening intentionally for quite a long time with Planned Parenthood and folks in the classrooms with your kids.
Speaker 2 It was so disturbing, it blew me away when I heard you speak not too long ago here in Grand Rapids. But
Speaker 2 what are kids being taught?
Speaker 9 Yeah, I mean, this has been going on a long time.
Speaker 9 I worked at Planned Parenthood
Speaker 9 12 years ago, and I started there 20 years ago. So I worked there for eight years.
Speaker 9 And this was happening, you know, the whole time that I was there. So Planned Parenthood has been in the public education system in many private schools
Speaker 9 for decades.
Speaker 9 And that is their purpose. You know,
Speaker 9 they're not trying to get to people like me and you, right?
Speaker 9 They figure that we've made up our minds about abortion, about
Speaker 9 these types of issues. And so they're really not trying to
Speaker 9 get to us to convince us one way or the other. They're trying to get to our kids.
Speaker 9 And
Speaker 9 which sounds familiar, right? That's exactly what Hitler did as well.
Speaker 9 They go for the youth and they try to brainwash the youth. And so that's I mean, that sounds like I'm being
Speaker 9 dramatic, but I'm not. I mean,
Speaker 9
it's part of their business plan. It works very successfully.
Planned Parenthood's education program begins in kindergarten. Their sex education program begins in kindergarten.
Speaker 9 They their first grade program has educators going into the classroom
Speaker 9 talking about various sexual positions with first graders using stuffed animals.
Speaker 2 I was blown away by that when you were talking about what so what does this look like? Because as you described them when you were speaking,
Speaker 2 you kind of showed that they take the stuffed animals and they show them different things that I mean
Speaker 2 kindergartners, first graders, they shouldn't be talking about any of this stuff.
Speaker 2 No, they shouldn't be.
Speaker 9
But they do it. I mean, they do it for two reasons.
One,
Speaker 9 they do it to break down the natural modesty of children, right? So all of us are born with a natural desire to protect our bodies and to protect our modesty. Planned Parenthood and other
Speaker 9 sex education
Speaker 10 promoters
Speaker 9 want to break down that natural modesty. So
Speaker 9 they want to tell children that flaunting your body is okay.
Speaker 9 You know, that you should be proud of your body. That's what this body positivity trend is all about.
Speaker 9 It's fine to trap around in your underwear in front of people.
Speaker 9 It's fine to do that.
Speaker 9 And so that's sort of what they're teaching our children. Number two, they do it because they want to break down the parent-child relationship.
Speaker 9 Planned Parenthood says in all of their training materials that parents are a barrier to service.
Speaker 9 So parents are a barrier to service. So parents are the reason that children are not coming into Planned Parenthood centers and getting contraception at 10, 11, 12 years old.
Speaker 9 They're the reason that children aren't getting abortions
Speaker 9
as early as they want to. So we need to break that parent-child relationship as early as we can.
And one way that we can do it is by getting in to the schools as early as possible.
Speaker 2
Abby, hang on one second. Trust us.
This is important.
Speaker 2 Abby Johnson explains, coming up in here just a little bit, how your child could be dropped off at school, taken by one of those school employees to get an abortion,
Speaker 2
and brought back home the next day. You would have no idea.
Right after this, this is the Glenback program.

Speaker 2
Welcome back in the Glen Beck Program. Justin Barkley in for Glenn today and Abby Johnson.
She is the uh
Speaker 2
well, she is the uh the the uh the focus of that movie on Planned that you probably saw. And if you haven't, I would definitely say go out and see it.
But her story is incredible.
Speaker 2 She used to want to be one of the highest uh folks in Planned Parenthood at one time until until
Speaker 2 her entire perspective and position was changed. And Abby, we'll share a little bit more about that maybe here in a bit if we have time.
Speaker 2 But the story about what's happening in the schools with the kids and what Planned Parenthood is doing, and you're sharing it, it really isn't unlike any other company, a strategy where they're going after, brands are going after.
Speaker 2 consumers at a very, very young age to win them over from
Speaker 2 the childhood. And that's what's happening in schools with Planned Parenthood.
Speaker 2 You were a part of this. And one of the things that really disturbed me the most is what they're teaching in the schools, how they're grooming these kids to be customers of theirs.
Speaker 2 And ultimately, the fact that as parents, your child could be taken at some point
Speaker 2 by
Speaker 2 somebody that works at the school to Planned Parenthood or another organization where they could have a surgical procedure done on them that could lead to them losing their lives.
Speaker 2 And you, as a parent, would have no idea about it.
Speaker 9 Right. Yeah, so
Speaker 9 I mean, I can't say it's terribly uncommon, but
Speaker 9 so there's a lot of states that have really great laws on the books about parental consent.
Speaker 9 And unfortunately, though, the Supreme Court ruled that any state that has any sort of parental notification, parental consent laws on the books surrounding abortion, they must also have something called judicial bypass in the law that states that a minor child can have an abortion without the parents knowing.
Speaker 9 They just have to go in front of a judge, and that judge can essentially consent for the minor child to have an abortion without the parents knowing.
Speaker 9 And there are organizations set up in all the states that have parental consent laws that basically find judges that will just rubber stamp a court order for a minor child to have an abortion without the parents knowing.
Speaker 9 And
Speaker 9
so like in my state, the state of Texas, the organization is called James Due Process. And so they just walk with a girl through the process.
The girl goes in front of a judge via Zoom.
Speaker 9
They walk with her through that process. They find a judge.
The judge rubber stamps it. She goes in and gets the abortion.
And the sad part is that, you know,
Speaker 9 She can go to school one day and the school counselor, the school nurse, you drop her off at school thinking, oh, she's going to learn about math and science, but really what's happening is the school nurse, the school counselor, whoever can take her from school that day to an abortion clinic, have a surgical abortion where the risk is possibly death.
Speaker 9 She's going to sign that consent without you knowing, without your consent.
Speaker 9 And she's going to have that abortion procedure. She's going to be brought back to the school.
Speaker 9 You're going to pick her up at the end of the day, and you're not going to have any idea that your daughter just underwent a surgical procedure without your knowledge.
Speaker 9 And that's legal in all 50 states.
Speaker 2 So this is just something that I never realized.
Speaker 2 And I think there's a lot of people that maybe don't realize what's happening in their schools and what's perfectly legal and it could take place.
Speaker 2 So Abby, I mean, number one, I wanted parents to be aware.
Speaker 2 I think we know that things are really, I mean, especially
Speaker 2 last couple of years,
Speaker 2
you got to be, if your eyes are open, you've got to be aware that crazy things are happening in schools with their kids. But this just takes it to another level.
People are waking up.
Speaker 2 Give us some of the hope and maybe some of the good news, the solutions here. What should we be doing as parents? What can we do?
Speaker 9 Well, I mean, everybody's got to get Planned Parenthood and these sex education programs out of their school. So, you know, parents have got to get involved.
Speaker 9 And even if you don't have kids, I don't have, I don't have, I I have eight kids, none of my kids go to public school, but that doesn't mean that I'm not at the school board meetings.
Speaker 9 There are vulnerable kids in those schools, and I feel like I have a responsibility, even if their parents aren't standing up for them, I feel like I have a responsibility to go stand up for those kids.
Speaker 9 So, you know, we all have a responsibility to be our brother's keeper. We all have a responsibility to go and fight for those vulnerable kids that are still in those schools.
Speaker 9 And so we need to know what's going on in the school system. We need to be fighting for those vulnerable kids.
Speaker 9 We need to get Planned Parenthood and these graphic sex education programs out of the public schools.
Speaker 9 But that's going to take us showing up to the school board meetings, showing up to the school health advisory committee meetings. And we need good parents to run for school board positions.
Speaker 9 We need to get these liberal maniacs out of school boards, off the school boards, and we need good conservative parents.
Speaker 9 Even if you don't have kids in the school, we still need good conservative people on these school boards and in these school board positions.
Speaker 2 These are things that seem,
Speaker 2
I mean, they just seem almost insurmountable. They seem almost impossible.
One of the things I think, and my daughter, she's going to be a year here in the next couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 And, you know, I've just, we've been fighting.
Speaker 2 She was born, you know, two months early. She was born at 27 weeks and
Speaker 2
two pounds, six ounces when she was born. And we just seen God working miracles throughout the entire process.
So we've been fighting with her from the beginning, and we won't stop fighting.
Speaker 2 I think, as a parent, that's just a natural instinct. But some of these things can seem overwhelming.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 I just want people to know about the hope that if we take some of these steps, that we can make good things. So we can make big things happen.
Speaker 2 One of the stories you shared, Abby, and it was just, I think,
Speaker 2 something that we could all use right now in the season that we're in,
Speaker 2 maybe a little bit of hope, is the story about this woman that went to get an abortion. I think it was in New York, and she walked into
Speaker 2 one of these places where
Speaker 2 a resource center where they were going to give
Speaker 2 resources and health care and all these different things to these moms that come in and inquiring. And
Speaker 2 the outstanding happy ending that came out of this was nothing short of a miracle.
Speaker 9 Yeah, so I have a friend that works at a pregnancy center in
Speaker 9 New New York, and this woman came in, and there's a late-term abortion clinic
Speaker 9 right next to this pregnancy center. And
Speaker 8 this woman walked in
Speaker 9 to my friend's pregnancy center, and she put her hand up in my friend's face, and she said, I don't want to hear about your God. I don't want to hear about religion.
Speaker 9 I want you to give me a free ultrasound so I know how far along I am in my pregnancy so I can go downstairs and have my abortion.
Speaker 9
And so my friend was like, oh man, okay. So she took her back.
She was doing the ultrasound. She was really praying and she was like, Lord,
Speaker 9 you got to give me something to say to this girl to sort of soften her heart. And she kept feeling like the Lord was telling her to
Speaker 9 ask the woman, do you want to hold your baby's hand?
Speaker 9 And she was like, what? That doesn't make any sense. Why would I ask her that?
Speaker 9 But that's what the Lord kept putting on her heart. And so finally she was like,
Speaker 9
do you want to hold your baby's hand? And the girl was like, what? And she said, I don't know. I've just been praying for you.
And that's what God keeps telling me to ask you.
Speaker 9 And right then, my friend felt very compelled to take this woman's hand and to put it on her abdomen. And so she did.
Speaker 9 And
Speaker 9 they both looked up at the monitor right then. And the 16-week-old baby reached her little hand up and put it right at the top of her mother's womb.
Speaker 9
And it looked like they were holding hands on the screen. And that woman, of course, chose life that day.
And,
Speaker 9 you know, I tell people all the time, I mean, of course, that was a huge miracle that happened that day in that pregnancy resource center.
Speaker 9 But there are miracles happening every day across the country in more than 2,500 pregnancy resource centers across our nation.
Speaker 9 There are miracles happening with those prayer warriors that are standing out in front of abortion clinics every day. Women are turning around, choosing life for their babies.
Speaker 9 You know, these women that had abortion appointments that are seeing people standing out in front of those clinics and saying, you know what, I'm not going to choose abortion today.
Speaker 9 You know, there's miracles happening. I run a ministry for abortion clinic workers.
Speaker 9
We've had over 600 abortion clinic workers walk out of their jobs and come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. And that includes seven full-time abortion doctors.
So miracles are happening.
Speaker 9
Conversions are happening. We're seeing God move in a big way.
And just next week on December 1st, the Supreme Court opening arguments in front of the Supreme Court are going to be taking place.
Speaker 9 And we may see Roe overturned this spring. And so we all need to be in prayer and we all need to be doing our part and taking action.
Speaker 2 Abby Johnson,
Speaker 2 you can go and find out more at abbyj.com, abbyjohnson.org, websites where you can get more information and stay in touch.
Speaker 2 One of the things that I think we always hear, Abby, before I let you go, is this argument from people, a lot of times from the left, and they'll say things like, well, you know,
Speaker 2 they care about a child up until they're born, and they don't really care about it afterwards.
Speaker 2 So some of the things that I've learned about these organizations that are doing this work is the incredible things that they do behind the scenes to get women actual health care, but also resources to take care of those babies.
Speaker 2 And I've seen you post this on your Facebook page where there's something happening and you need some help for a specific woman out of the blue.
Speaker 2 And then people just come out of the, like the floodworks just outpouring to help these women. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 9 Yeah, I run a 24-hour crisis line called Loveline.
Speaker 9 And
Speaker 9 if you ever encounter anybody, anybody that's listening, if you ever encounter anybody at a hotel or at a fast food restaurant, anybody who's ever struggling, a single parent, single dad, single mom, woman who's pregnant, woman who's homeless, and you see somebody who needs help, you can send them to Loveline.com.
Speaker 9 We're a crisis pregnancy line.
Speaker 9
But we don't just help people who are pregnant. We help anybody who's in crisis.
We've help domestic violence survivors, anybody.
Speaker 9 And
Speaker 9
we post registries for families. We had a family whose house burned down.
We had to completely replenish a whole new house for them.
Speaker 9 And really, Justin, we have, I mean, we post a registry and within two hours, a registry of 200 items is completely filled.
Speaker 9 I mean, you know, people, you know, the pro-abortion movement will say that, you know, we're only here for people, you know, for babies after, you know, once they're born and then we leave them.
Speaker 9 But that's totally untrue. And I got to tell you, though, even if we were only here for babies, you know, up until they're born, that's still more than the pro-abortion movement does.
Speaker 9 But it's just, it's totally untrue.
Speaker 2 Well, thank you for all the good work, and thank you for everything you do. And Abby, thank you for sharing your story with everyone and the stories of what are happening.
Speaker 2
I think you've given us some good solutions. People are getting engaged.
They're getting involved now more than ever.
Speaker 2 And I think that's sort of the, you know, the silver lining of what we've been through in the last couple of years is that people are waking up and now they've got sort of the marching orders of what to do next.
Speaker 2 Abby Johnson, thank you so much for being here with us today.
Speaker 9 Of course. Thank you.
Speaker 2 You got it. Abbyj.com, if you want to stay in touch with Abby and, of course, hear more of her.
Speaker 2
The movie movie is incredible. You have Time This Weekend, Unplanned, is what it's called.
You can rent it and watch it.
Speaker 2 It's just an amazing story.
Speaker 2 But I think one that we all need to hear as we continue to feel hopeless and helpless at times. That's part of, I think,
Speaker 2 the bigger picture of what we're facing. I do think, as we talked about earlier in the program, all of these things,
Speaker 2 the series of crises, one after the other,
Speaker 2 that we see happening on a daily basis all around us, intentional and designed
Speaker 2 in such a way that I think really to bring down this country and our way of life.
Speaker 2 One of the things they want us to feel
Speaker 2 is like we're hopeless.
Speaker 2 It's like we're helpless.
Speaker 2
But that's just not the truth. We'll talk more about that coming up after this.
Justin Barkley and for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
Speaker 2 The Glenn Beck Program.
Speaker 16 Hey, parents, here's some good news for America's future. Kids ages 5 to 11 are now eligible for a COVID vaccine.

Speaker 12 Towers of Light tributes, a ceremony to read names aloud for those lost to 9-11 illness, and names of all lost in the war on terror are being read on Veterans Day. Donate $11 a month at t2t.org.
Speaker 2 You know, there is far more good happening in the world. In fact, I believe
Speaker 2 you're just not hearing about it.
Speaker 2 Here's part of a story that you probably didn't hear about. You probably heard about the verdict and the trial for the three men convicted of murder in Ahmed Arbury
Speaker 2
trial the other day. But did you hear what his dad had to say? The man who was killed.
This statement made right in front of Reverend Al Sharpton and Benjamin Crump
Speaker 2 moments after the verdict came out.
Speaker 2 It's incredible.
Speaker 2 What does he have to say?
Speaker 2 It's something you're probably not hearing anywhere else. The news didn't run this.
Speaker 2 For real, all life matters. Oh,
Speaker 2 not just black children. We don't want to see nobody go through this.
Speaker 2
I wouldn't want to see no daddy watch a kid get lynched and shot down like that. That's right, Mom.
So it's all our problem.
Speaker 2 It's all our problem.
Speaker 2 so hey let's keep fighting
Speaker 2 let's keep joining and making this place a better place for all human beings amen
Speaker 2 all human beings amen everybody
Speaker 2 love everybody
Speaker 2 this is incredible because it's not the divisive narrative the mainstream not gonna play that for you won't see it on the nightly news with listerol
Speaker 2 but i thought you should hear it if in fact you want to share that with other folks i posted up on Facebook, and I've also posted it up on my website, Justin Barclay, B-A-R-C-L-A-Y, JustinBarclay.com.
Speaker 2 Every day when I talk about different things on my program, and like today, I will post things there that maybe if you want to get the links, et cetera, call it the stack. In fact,
Speaker 2 a link to Abby Johnson and her organization over there, as well as the link to James Simpson's book, Who Was Karl Marx? We talked about in the first hour this morning.
Speaker 2
So if you want to get any of that, you can grab it. Lots more.
In fact, more good news and some solutions. Not just problems.
I know there's plenty of those, but we talk solutions.
Speaker 2 Coming up today, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today,
Speaker 2 post-Thanksgiving, the Glenn Back Program.

Speaker 2 Hey, welcome back in. It is Justin Barclay in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
Speaker 2
I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan, high atop the thriving metropolis, as we continue the Glenn Beck program today, the post-Thanksgiving edition. And the numbers are incredible.
We're starting to see
Speaker 2
more. We didn't talk about this too much earlier, but it's over 900 points down now, the Dow.
And a lot of this they're saying is
Speaker 2 because of uncertainty or speculation with what's happening in this new
Speaker 2 Rona variant.
Speaker 2 Now,
Speaker 2 this is this is we have had several. In fact, viruses are always
Speaker 2 virusing,
Speaker 2 the experts will tell you.
Speaker 2 They're always varianting.
Speaker 2 And this is the latest. We were told to dread
Speaker 2 the Delta variant.
Speaker 2 Yes, we were told to be afraid.
Speaker 2 To be very,
Speaker 2 very afraid.
Speaker 2 Just when you thought it was safe to go back into society, right? And we just got done with Thanksgiving, and now we've got, what, Christmas on the one? Oh, you thought you could celebrate Christmas.
Speaker 2 No, no, no.
Speaker 2 so what is this new variant this is the
Speaker 2 coming out of South Africa
Speaker 2 and of course it's apparently
Speaker 2 we always hear this a variant of concern right
Speaker 2 the market dropping sharply on Friday this from CNBC here as a new covet variant found in South Africa triggered a global shift away from the risk assets the Dow Jones industrial average dropped 900 points or 2.5%, while SP 500 and NASDAQ competency
Speaker 2
slid 1.8 and 1.5%, respectively. Friday shortened trading day because of the Thanksgiving holiday with U.S.
markets closing at 1%.
Speaker 2 The downward move comes after the WHO.
Speaker 2 Why are we still listening to any of these folks anyway? I don't know. Fauci in particular.
Speaker 2 Why are we still listening listening to any of them?
Speaker 2 The WHO officials on Thursdays warned of a new COVID-19 variant that's been detected in South Africa.
Speaker 2 The new variant contains more mutations to the spike protein, the component of the virus that binds to cells,
Speaker 2 than the highly contagious Delta variant. Because of these mutations, scientists fear it could have
Speaker 2 increased resistance to vaccines, though
Speaker 2 the WHO said further investigation is needed.
Speaker 2 The UK temporarily suspending flights from six African countries due to the variant. Israel barred travel to several nations after reporting one case and a traveler.
Speaker 2 Two cases were identified in Hong Kong, and Belgium also confirmed a case. So the market's now in a
Speaker 2 bit of a chaotic
Speaker 2 front here.
Speaker 2 I can't wait. And that means the weekend is coming.
Speaker 2 And of course, you know, that means Fauci is going to be out there on all the shows. And then Monday will have all the great Fauci
Speaker 2 video clips to play where he is contradicting himself and saying just the latest ridiculous things.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 2 that's the label. By the way, all of this as the FDA says that it wants
Speaker 2 55 years
Speaker 2 to process FOIA requests
Speaker 2 about the JABs, meaning data may not be available to the public conveniently until 2076.
Speaker 2 I think we'll find out what really happened with JFK
Speaker 2 and UFOs and the rest of it before we actually find out
Speaker 2 what the data between the JABs here.
Speaker 2 Portugal, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, has declared a state of emergency
Speaker 2 and is imposing new restrictions to curb the sudden surge they're seeing. This was a story even before we heard about this South African variant.
Speaker 2 Now, I thought it was racist, by the way.
Speaker 2 You remember we couldn't call this the China virus
Speaker 2 because it comes from China,
Speaker 2 Sned Rick.
Speaker 2 Remember, we can't call it China, you certainly certainly can't call it the Wu Flu.
Speaker 2 They will cancel you.
Speaker 2
Because it's racist to put geographical areas related to where these things come. It's racist to do that, apparently.
But now all of a sudden they're calling this a South Africa. Is it just too?
Speaker 2 Is it because it's so new?
Speaker 2
Because I thought, speaking of new, that's also a Greek letter in the alphabet. They've had all these letters lined up.
Did they run through them all? Because we went from Delta to South Africa.
Speaker 2 There's a bit of of a disconnect here, folks, and I'm not really sure what it is, other than
Speaker 2 maybe
Speaker 2 these Greek alphabet letters weren't scary enough for folks.
Speaker 2 At one point, I thought they were just going to go through the entire alphabet until they got to one that stuck and scared people sufficiently. But that's where we are today.
Speaker 2 We are now moving past that and we're moving on to the South African variant.
Speaker 2 So, folks, there in Portugal, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, declaring state of emergency, imposing news restrictions, because
Speaker 2 with 99.2% of adults at least partially vaccinated,
Speaker 2 they're saying vaccine passports for major events, bars, and clubs, as well as mask mandates for public transit. Portugal has announced they have new restrictions.
Speaker 2 Proving once again that I guess if you just follow the experts, you can end the pandemic, huh?
Speaker 2 And this also also comes as news is
Speaker 2 summer of 69, right? He did that. Brian Adams, isn't he the summer of 69 guy?
Speaker 2 Has tested positive for the Rona
Speaker 2 for the second time in a month.
Speaker 2 Follow the signs.
Speaker 2 Apparently, what happened here is after you test by, you can still test positive for like, I don't know, months on end, even though you're not contagious and you don't, you're not like actually sick with it, apparently.
Speaker 2 So, that brings in more question about
Speaker 2 the testing and all of these things. By the way, it's not like anything's on the line here with people, like their livelihoods or life in general, our economy.
Speaker 2 Not like anything's hanging in the ballot. So, you know, the accuracy of these tests.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 California, Santa Cruz County.
Speaker 2
Anytime. Say they must have had Fauci write this one up for him.
Anytime I hear California or Comifornia, it just, you know, I know that something crazy is coming. They have now issued
Speaker 2 an indoor mask mandate
Speaker 2 for private homes.
Speaker 2 Let me say that again. In California, Santa Cruz County has now issued a mask mandate indoors
Speaker 2 for private homes.
Speaker 2 No word on who exactly will be doing the policing of this, but if you have anybody who lives outside of your home, apparently, you are required to make them mask up.
Speaker 2 Which is almost as crazy as the clip from the CBS.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 I don't know if you saw this or not, but apparently getting ready for Thanksgiving,
Speaker 2 the folks at CBS had a bit of
Speaker 2
some advice for folks who were going to hold Thanksgiving gatherings. I don't know how yours went.
Ours went really well, largely uneventful at all.
Speaker 2 But they were telling people that they should
Speaker 2 test,
Speaker 2 kind of like Brian Adams, I guess, guess,
Speaker 2 the winner of 21, they should test you before you come into the Thanksgiving gathering. Here's their advice.
Speaker 21 It might be a difficult conversation before people step into your house to say, whoa, wait a minute, where's your card? What's your status?
Speaker 21 Before you walk into my home,
Speaker 22 this is tough because people are all over the map on this, and they're also all over the map with their risk tolerance.
Speaker 22
But the rapid tests have made this a lot easier. Right.
Because whatever people's vaccination status is, we can actually confirm safety on the spot.
Speaker 22
So if it feels like it's going to be weird, maybe make it kind of fun. Say we're going to start with hors d'oeuvres in the garage.
What? You know, we'll have drinks. We'll do our rapid test.
Speaker 2 And then come on in, right?
Speaker 22 You can make it playful, make it fun.
Speaker 2 Are they laughing because this is absolutely ridiculous, or they like this idea? By the way, the woman giving the advice,
Speaker 2 oh, she's a doctor, all right. She's a psychologist.
Speaker 2 She's the one saying, hey, set up the testing before you had people in. I don't know how your Thanksgiving went.
Speaker 2 We didn't have to deal with any of that.
Speaker 2 None of that, thankfully.
Speaker 2
And all largely went off without a hitch. Food was good.
Had a great time. Enjoyed it.
Speaker 2 And none of that
Speaker 2 to deal with.
Speaker 2 By the way, before I'm done with this Rona report, I'll just tell you: New York Times reporting, despite vaccines, this is their headline, by the way.
Speaker 2 The U.S. has lost more lives to COVID this year than last.
Speaker 2 But as you know, yesterday, Biden said to Al Roker over the phone during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade that everything's good because we're back.
Speaker 2 And somebody who had texted me earlier on my text line said, does it mean we're on our backs?
Speaker 2 What is he saying exactly? Great point. Well taken.
Speaker 2 The higher death toll, the New York Times says, attributed to lower than needed vaccination rates and the relaxation of everyday precautions amid a rise of the highly contagious self- You've done everything we've asked you to do.
Speaker 2 And it's still not enough because it never will be.
Speaker 2 It's still
Speaker 2 your fault.
Speaker 2
I do have good news. Folks are standing up in a myriad of different ways.
In fact, we get to our next guest who shares what parents are doing all across the country.
Speaker 2 In fact, some of those parents who stood up in Virginia to take their kids' schools back.
Speaker 2 Share that next. Justin Barkley in for Glenn Today on the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 2 By all means, text me. The area code is 616-201-3353.
Speaker 2
That's 616-201-3353. One of the things I can share with you, in fact, is a story about folks who are standing up and making a difference.
It started here in Michigan, Michigan, in fact.
Speaker 2 There's a group of individuals concerned when we were going through the ringer here, really at the height of the craziness with our governor and the shutdowns.
Speaker 2 Like I said, she shut down certain stores but kept others open. You could certainly get an abortion, but elective surgeries to save lives, she called them elective,
Speaker 2 removing cancer
Speaker 2 from the body of a friend of mine. That was elective.
Speaker 2 But you could have an abortion.
Speaker 2 The government picking winners and losers, and the governor here, Whitmer in this case,
Speaker 2 and also caught during this entire time, you know, breaking her own rules, kind of like Newsom out in California.
Speaker 2
There are folks that decided, you know, this enough is enough. And they started to stand up.
And in fact, that's the name of their organization, Stand Up Michigan. Ron Armstrong, one of the folks that
Speaker 2
co-founded that group, is with us right now. I appreciate you being here with us today on the Glenn Beck program.
Morning, Ron.
Speaker 8 Good morning. Great to be here.
Speaker 2 The reason I wanted to talk to you is Ron's a friend. Obviously, I've had various conversations with him here in Michigan on Wood Radio, the station, the show that I host here locally.
Speaker 2 But he's got some national connections. This movement that started here, Ron, in fact, has trickled out all over.
Speaker 2 And one of the places that it hit was Virginia. We saw some pretty wild wild things happen with the last election of
Speaker 2 this new Republican governor there, but also local levels, school boards, et cetera. We've seen some big movements happening with parents at that ground level.
Speaker 2 And I wanted to take a minute to just really recognize the good news of the things that are happening there, but the role that maybe your organization, but also parents on the ground floor are playing.
Speaker 2 in these uh in these everyday victories. So let's start with that.
Speaker 2 I mean, you guys got off the ground ground and running and quickly spread like a virus all over the country in ways that folks in the Biden administration probably wouldn't like to see that happen.
Speaker 8 Yes, we started Stand Up Michigan during the lockdowns here in Michigan, and we quickly grew to almost 400,000 members.
Speaker 8 That was, of course, during the lockdowns, and people were wondering, where can I get truthful information?
Speaker 8 How do I get unemployment? How do I take care of my kids? How do I educate my kids?
Speaker 8 And we really just allowed them to tell their their stories and what is it you're going through and try to provide them with solutions, which is something that our government, especially our governors, were certainly not doing.
Speaker 8 It was just stay home and wait to hear from me as to what we're going to allow you to do with your lives, your businesses, your kids, your schools, and so on.
Speaker 8 And so over the course of 2020, of course, the message got out and it spread around and somewhere was in Virginia. Stand Up Virginia was formed and they have a website, standupvirginia.com.
Speaker 8 They've done lots of amazing things, but one of the things was go all the way down to the local level and the Loudoun school systems and so on.
Speaker 8 I'm sure many of your listeners had seen the Stand Up Virginia signs
Speaker 8 that were held up at those school board meetings. But what we've seen now is, is it's one thing when you affect our lives individually or even our businesses to a certain point.
Speaker 8 But when they've come for our children, again, this last fall, When they decided that we are going to first keep them out of school or we're going to have them in school in masks, we're going to now force vaccinations potentially on them.
Speaker 8 That's when the parents said we've had enough. And that's the point, obviously, we need to get to.
Speaker 8 It's the question we've asked, I think, for the last 18 months is, what is it going to take for you to stand up and actually get involved? It's not about political affiliation.
Speaker 8 This is about freedom and liberty.
Speaker 2 So let me ask you, Ron, because this is a part of the conversation that we've had, and a lot of people here or might say that, stand up. What does that mean?
Speaker 2 I talked about this with a guest earlier today, but
Speaker 2 his point was, look, a lot of the things that we're seeing are intentional. He said, you know, they're trying to
Speaker 2 provoke us into some sort of conflict. And he said, whatever we do, we've got to make sure.
Speaker 2 He drew a parallel with the jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, but he said that those 12 folks did standing up to the mob and mob justice,
Speaker 2
what they did was standing up. It was peaceful.
It was lawful. So what does that look like for you and for folks that are listening? Peaceful, lawful.
How do we stand up?
Speaker 8 Well, the greatest thing we have in America is a republic, which means we have local governance and control. Now we need to take that back because we've just been asleep for way too long.
Speaker 8 So what we've seen here and what we pivoted to in 2021 is getting involved in local areas with local county chapters in order for you to get involved in your own school system.
Speaker 8 get involved in your own local government.
Speaker 8 What you're going to find is they're filled with liberal progressives who are part of this game they either live in fear or they listen to just the left and they listen to this progressive agenda they're a part of this agenda and we have to become leaders we have to get involved we so often as conservatives have decided no look I'm running my business I'm taking care of my family I'm doing all these things I don't have time to get involved in local politics it's not politics it's actually changing and controlling your local community which means whether it's your school board or it's your city council county commission, whatever level you need to get involved in, you have to show up and you have to get involved.
Speaker 2
We have to be able to. Ron, hang on.
I want to give them some resources, some tools to do that, some ideas, some tips. We'll do that after we get back, right after this.
Speaker 2 Barkley and for back on the Glenback program. This is the Glenback Program.
Speaker 3 This is precisely what the Tuttle Twins books do. They teach your kids and your grandkids about American values in a fun and interesting way.
Speaker 3
The books are incredibly important to share with your kids or your grandkids. You can even read them yourself while you're at it.
I've learned a few things. The Tuttle Twins books.
I love them.
Speaker 3
My kids love them. Grandkids love them.
Tuttle Twins having a Black Friday sale right now. The biggest deal they've ever done.
Speaker 3 It includes the kids' books, activity books, audiobooks, guide books, parent guides, all for 75% off the normal price. Tuttle Twinsbeck.com, access this special deal now.
Speaker 3 Tuttle Twinsbeck.com, a whopping 75% off.
Speaker 6 Doing our part to keep free speech alive.
Speaker 6 There's much more after the break on the Glenn Beck program.
Speaker 2 You know, I
Speaker 2 never really wanted to talk about politics.
Speaker 2 In fact,
Speaker 2 it's just not one of my favorite
Speaker 2 topics.
Speaker 2 But I have been working on the radio since I was in high school, doing all kinds of different formats, working for different radio stations all across the country.
Speaker 2 And I found myself working in talk radio back in 2012.
Speaker 2 And the things we talk about would be mostly the news of the day, things that were topical,
Speaker 2 just the average water cooler talk.
Speaker 2 But times have changed.
Speaker 2 And over the last
Speaker 2 almost two years now, what we talk about at that water cooler,
Speaker 2 in fact, whether we actually get to
Speaker 2 get together around a water cooler has changed. Everything has changed.
Speaker 2 And so while I don't necessarily
Speaker 2 relish the fact that we
Speaker 2 have to talk about politics, I have to talk about politics.
Speaker 2 I feel called.
Speaker 2 The last couple of years, it's been the thing that I've had to talk about
Speaker 2 because
Speaker 2 I just felt called to be here through these things with the folks that I get a chance to talk with on a daily basis with my radio program and my podcast, etc.
Speaker 2 I think we're all in that moment now.
Speaker 2 I think we have most of us, if you're listening to this
Speaker 2 right now,
Speaker 2 you find yourself in the same position, the same predicament. This is the same reason why this guy won in New Jersey, the truck driver, who didn't really even want to run,
Speaker 2 but he felt like he had to.
Speaker 2 We find ourselves, average everyday folks, at a crossroads.
Speaker 2 We either stand up now or we lose it all.
Speaker 2 You think it's bad now.
Speaker 2 Just wait
Speaker 2 to see how bad it could get.
Speaker 2 And when I say that, I tell you all of these things just to tell you that that's why I'm standing up.
Speaker 2 And that's how I'm standing up.
Speaker 2 I would be easier to sell out and to not
Speaker 2 talk about some of these things and some of the
Speaker 2 issues of the day that are
Speaker 2 confrontational,
Speaker 2 controversial, whatever. It'd be easier to do that.
Speaker 2 And I'm sure I'd be more well-liked by certain folks in my industry and whatnot.
Speaker 2
But I just couldn't sleep at night. And so that's why I'm standing up.
And standing up can look
Speaker 2
as simple as sharing the stories that you just aren't hearing anywhere else that we share on a daily basis on the radio. Glenn shares on this program.
I share on my local program.
Speaker 2 Talking about these things together with each other, even around the turkey at the dinner table, if there's a a way to do that in your family, to talk about the things that are maybe uncomfortable,
Speaker 2
to share the stories that we share, whatever. I mean, those could be very simple ways.
It could be looking
Speaker 2
like something even more detailed, running for office. Those are some of the things that we were just talking about.
It's Justin Barkley back in for Glenn today in the Glenn Back program.
Speaker 2 And Ron Armstrong is one of the founders of the Stand Up Michigan organization. They're starting to spread throughout the country, Stand Up Virginia, etc.
Speaker 2 And Ron, we were just talking about those things that people can do.
Speaker 2 But you have people literally coming together in various different ways all throughout the country to get involved and engaged in the process, to stand up in their own ways, whether it's running for office or making sure that they're involved in whatever is happening, and specifically at a local level, to make a difference and an impact.
Speaker 2 Because if we don't do it now, who knows
Speaker 2 where we'll be. Well,
Speaker 8 we just don't have the choice any longer. This is not the end.
Speaker 8 Everybody thinks we were going to go back to some sort of normal, but they took away our ability to free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly.
Speaker 8 And we all just stood by in the name of a so-called virus and watched it happen. Now they want to give us back those freedoms a little bit at a time, and we're supposed to be thankful for that.
Speaker 8 But the good news is, and I love your
Speaker 8 slogan, good news, because there always is good news. The good news is the opportunity is there for us to reclaim and to claim our freedoms that are here for us.
Speaker 8
We just have to stand up and stand together. And you can only affect change in your local community.
You can't change your state capitol. You can't change Washington, D.C.
Speaker 8 But if we each focus on our own local communities, make them better, be the solution for your people, we can together reclaim what we call freedom and liberty here.
Speaker 8 It's what our country was founded on.
Speaker 2
And I'd add to that, Ron, is a lot of times we look outside, like you said, D.C. or your state capital here.
It's Lansing. We think about pointing the finger and, oh, these people are the problem.
Speaker 2 But, you know, if we take the responsibility, that's really what this country operates on, right? Is that ultimate freedom and that ultimate personal responsibility. If we take that
Speaker 2 radical responsibility, say, you know, I have an opportunity to control what happens in my own home.
Speaker 2 And to be a leader in my own home, and I can take the opportunity to lead myself, then you can make an impact, as you mentioned, locally in your churches, in your neighborhoods,
Speaker 2 in your schools, and in the town that you live in. That is how
Speaker 2 we make this effort together to stand up, but it's going to require all of us. The good news is, is that each of us doing it
Speaker 2 on our own and these little bright sparks like that man in New Jersey I was just talking about, that the individuals that stand up and speak at your school board, look at the wave
Speaker 2 that can happen. That's what they fear, I think, in 22
Speaker 2 is what happened in Virginia and probably New Jersey if we're honest about all of it. But that's what happened here just recently, isn't it?
Speaker 8
It is, and it's just beginning. The wave in 2022 is going to be huge.
And the important thing is, is not that we choose a political party again. It's going to be looking at the individuals.
Speaker 8 What do they stand for? Will they stand up for our freedom? Will they defend us when they go to their congressional seats or wherever they might serve?
Speaker 8 And are they going to represent us in the school board?
Speaker 8 Are they going to look at the real data and science in regard to these masks and vaccinating our children when they're simply not getting sick and they're not dying from this? They're not symptomatic.
Speaker 8 All of these things that we know are true, but we just don't have the people in leadership that are willing to stand up.
Speaker 8 And together, we're going to make a difference, but we need you to get involved. And that's why we started not only this organization, but why its message is spreading throughout the country.
Speaker 8 And the last thing is understand that you have lots of grassroots groups that are pro-life, pro-gun, pro-whatever it might be, but they're all small factions.
Speaker 8 And what Stand Up Michigan did is become an umbrella for all those organizations to let them get involved in the area that affects them most.
Speaker 8 And that brought basically didn't take away their identity, but lets us have and speak with much bigger collective voice.
Speaker 8 Yeah.
Speaker 2 We've got to come together and we've got to make sure because there's enough of this division happening, I think,
Speaker 2 on other levels that we don't fall into that
Speaker 2 same trap ourselves. And make sure that we find the things that we do agree with on each other, those common core principles, you know, those values, and we take a stand for those.
Speaker 2 Ron Armstrong, Stand UpMichigan, standupmichigan.com is there best way people can get in touch with social media, et cetera, Ron?
Speaker 8 Yes, standupmichigan.com. And if you want to have censorship free,
Speaker 8 join us on locals. That is the new community that has been around.
Speaker 8
It's standupmichigan.locals.com. You can also go to our website and look for the sign up for locals for free.
There's a promo code there.
Speaker 8 And then you can get live broadcasts and links to all kinds of information and resources that will help you be able to stand up in your community.
Speaker 2
Yeah, appreciate it, Ron. Thank you very much, my friend.
God bless.
Speaker 8 Thank you.
Speaker 10 Have a great weekend.
Speaker 2 You too.
Speaker 2 You can stand up together. And I think, yeah,
Speaker 2 it doesn't take much more
Speaker 2
than just small efforts to make a big impact. And some of those we talked about, some more we'll talk about here in a little bit.
I want to give you an opportunity, too. Guys, today's Black Friday.
Speaker 2 And before we put the wraps on this whole thing, There's been a lot of
Speaker 2 this insanity that happened over the last couple of years.
Speaker 2 Big box stores, corporate America,
Speaker 2
making large profits, mom and pop getting left in the dust. And I want to give a chance before we leave here today, small business, for you to get maybe a shout-out.
So if you'd like to,
Speaker 2 88-8727-BEC is the phone number, 888-727-BEC. And we'll go through these lightning fast, though.
Speaker 2 If you've got a product or a service or something that's for sale out there, Black Friday special, something like that, that you want to share with folks, I give you the floor to do that.
Speaker 2
Now, this is invaluable advertising space here that we're just going to get. Now, I don't know.
I may get in trouble for this. They may not ever allow me to come back.
Speaker 2 Somehow, I feel like Glenn would be okay with this, though.
Speaker 2 Somehow, I feel like he would support this 100%.
Speaker 2 So, give me a shout, or you can text me at 616-201-3353.
Speaker 2
616-201-3353, and we'll make sure we get you a plug in the limited amount of time that we have right after this. Justin Barklay in for Glenn Beck Beck today and the Glenbeck program.

Welcome back, Justin Barkley in for Glenn Today and the Glenn Beck program. Okay, we've got limited time.
So a lightning round, I'm going to kind of try and go through it. 888-727-BEC is the number.
Speaker 2 That's 888-727-BAC. I'm going to give you a chance to give a quick plug, if you'd like, for your business, your organization, whatever it might be, for mom and pops, really, on Black Friday.
Speaker 2 Let's start with Ian in Colorado. Ian, a quick plug
Speaker 2 for your company. What do you do?
Speaker 10
Thank you, Justin. Yeah, I've been sheet metal all day.
I run a sheet back,
Speaker 10 sheet metal shop.
Speaker 2
That's awesome. Sounds like fun.
And who are your customers who might use you?
Speaker 10 Anybody in the Grand Valley in the Grand Junction area on the western slope here in Colorado.
Speaker 2 And what kind of stuff
Speaker 2 do you usually make there?
Speaker 10 You know, pretty much anything out of sheet metal. You know, if you could draw it, I could bend it and weld it.
Speaker 2
That sounds cool, man. Very, very fun and creative job.
And
Speaker 2 what is the name of your company or where can people find you, Ian?
Speaker 10 The company's name is Jacksblade Sheet Metal, and we're in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Speaker 2
Awesome. Well, thank you very much, man.
We'll look you up. I appreciate you calling in.
All right, I'm going to try and go quickly because we don't have a lot of time here, but let's go to Susan.
Speaker 2 And I don't know if it's Louisiana or LA. I hope it's Louisiana for your sanity, Susan.
Speaker 24 Oh, no,
Speaker 24 I live in Georgia, in Dallas, Georgia, but it's
Speaker 24 my daughter's business out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Speaker 2
Okay, great. Tell me about it.
What is it?
Speaker 24 It's called Amanda Proctor Ceramics. Her specialty is pet portrait mugs.
Speaker 24 You send her a portrait of your pet, and she carves it on a coffee mug, a little doggy ball, a treat jar, a Christmas ornament, whatever you want your pet's picture to be carved on.
Speaker 24
And she carves it by hand. She makes the mug.
She fires it in a kiln. She carves it.
She glazes it, and she ships it to you.
Speaker 2 That is really cool. I'm
Speaker 2
looking at the pictures and the things right now. Amanda Proctor, P-R-O-C-T-O-R.com.
We might have to get one of these for our dog Daisy. That's really cool.
Speaker 24 They're gorgeous.
Speaker 2
Susan, thank you for the call today. I appreciate it, and good luck to Amanda.
Let me go to Frank in Iowa. Frank, you're up next on the Glenn Beck program.

Speaker 7 Morning.
Speaker 10 Yeah, our product is flatulence odor control products using activated charcoal cloth.
Speaker 2 Now, I'm not supposed to take this personal, am I? Because this is.
Speaker 2 No, sir. No, no, you wouldn't do that.
Speaker 11 So you're stuck in that tiny booth there.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2
And I also hear that this is how the virus can spread, possibly, through this type of exposure. So this might be safe.
You might have to get you in touch with Dr. Fauci.
Speaker 2 I hear he's full of hot air anyway. So maybe this would be
Speaker 2 full of it.
Speaker 2 Great product for him. Frank, where can people find your odor control products for Frank? At our website.
Speaker 10 At our website and Amazon, but the website is F-L-A-T-D.com.
