Love.
Courage.
Truth.
Glenn Beck.
When you boil it all down,
it's really a simple concept.
You can boil it all down to one word, freedom.
Freedom of ideas and people.
Freedom of will, freedom of activity.
freedom to decide for yourself.
Regardless of all the debates we have over the years,
country, country, area to area, even within America,
everybody knows in their heart of hearts
that they want freedom.
They may spin it different ways.
They may say, well, we need less freedom for this, for the greater good of society, or maybe they're a tyrant or whatever, but they know that's what's right and that's what should happen.
We all as human beings desire to have that freedom.
And that's one of the simple concepts America was founded on.
And that's one of the reasons it's so special.
That
and capitalism.
Capitalism.
The idea that you could take place in commerce for yourself
and cast your net upon the waters and reap the benefits that all it brings in or suffer the losses of what you don't bring in.
The two of them work hand in hand, freedom and capitalism.
And you really can't have one without the other.
Milton Friedman wrote about it in a book by the same name.
They work hand in hand, and that's what's built America.
As much as countries and people around the world try to badmouth America to take us down, say that's not right.
Look at you with your laws and your gun laws and your capitalism and socialism is the way forward.
I would ask you and I would ask them,
how has America done
by virtually every measure compared with your country?
How's America doing now by virtually every measure compared with your country?
It's done pretty well, hasn't it?
Even in recent years, as much as we've lost freedoms, we've lost free markets, we have a more oppressive government, we have a debt,
those are not failures of capitalism or freedom.
Those are failures of men and failures of ideas who've moved away from those simple concepts of freedom and capitalism.
Our road back
is partially
through those simple concepts, freedom and capitalism.
Our road back to greatness in economy, thinking, education,
It's all part of it.
So while colleges today, unfortunately, are primarily focused on things like, how do you feel?
And are you safe?
Let's have a safe space.
Let's bring in kittens and puppies during exams so you feel
better.
While they're focused on that, I'm going to continue to focus on entrepreneurs and capitalism and free markets
because that's the right way forward.
So few people are focused on that.
That's what we're doing here on the Glenn Beck program.
And that's what we're going to keep doing at the Blaze as well.
Focusing on those things that we know are right and we know will help.
There are a few people
or companies in the world that will give you anything for free.
And there are a few broadcast media companies that will give you commercials for free.
But that's what we're going to do today on the program.
I'm Doc Thompson in for Glenn today.
On my morning broadcast on the Blaze Radio Network, go to theblazeradio.com to find out more about me.
Regularly, we feature a segment called Building America.
If you go on Twitter and look it up, you'll see past people we featured on this, and we just give commercials away.
We just give people airtime at times to promote their business.
We recognize the importance of capitalism and entrepreneurship in Building America, and we also know that's so difficult now for people when you're starting a business, whether you you have aspirations to make it a giant conglomerate in the future, a Fortune 500 company, or you just want a little side income to make a life a little bit better for your family.
Whatever it is, marketing, promotion, and advertising is one of the most difficult things out there because we have all of these areas where you can do it yourself.
Sure, you can go on social media.
It's out there like never before.
It's even quote unquote free.
But there's also more people and more competition doing it.
Breaking through is really difficult.
We've helped a lot of people over the years and we're going to help people more today.
We're willing to give you free commercials.
All you have to do is call up if you own a business.
Don't tell me about a product you like or something you used or somebody else's.
You got to be the owner of the business.
888-727-BEC.
888-727-BEC.
And over the next couple of hours, we're going to let you talk about your business.
888-727-BEC.
The idea is
people who dream and people who do.
We've boiled the entrepreneurial spirit down to that.
Dreaming and doing.
Lots of us dream.
How many are willing to take that chance?
Ultimately, at some point, that's what you have to do.
It can be a calculated risk.
It should be something that you've studied and done your research on.
But at some point, you do have to step off of that safe ground.
888-727BEC if you want to promote your business.
We'll give you about a minute or so.
Now, I would caution you to make sure your website is up and working and can handle the onslaught that it's going to get because this is a powerful, powerful radio broadcast with a number of people that listen.
Make sure that it can handle it.
We don't want to crash your site.
We want to get as many people there as possible.
And also, please tweet with the hashtag BuildingAmerica and promote your business there.
I will try to retweet retweet all of them out to make sure everybody
gets theirs out.
So if you miss somebody, you're like, oh, what was that sausage company or the gun company?
You can go back later throughout the day, look up my account.
It's at Doc Thompson Show or Building America and go back and check it out and find out what it was.
And one final, if you don't make it through today, keep trying.
Keep using that hashtag Building America, even in the future.
But use it today as well, because as other people search on there, they'll likely see your business.
This is our commitment to you.
All right, I'm going to get right to the phones now.
888-727-BEC.
888-727-BEC.
Let's get to Tara in North Carolina.
Tara, how are you?
I'm good.
How are you?
I'm doing well.
What's your business?
Actually, it's Teresa, but that's fine.
The business is
wasted beer bottle candles.
Wasted beer bottle candles.
That's right.
And the website is getwastedcandles.com.
What I do, I've been making candles for a dozen years.
And this particular product I make out of upcycled beer bottle candles.
And
the name is a play on words, Wasted.
It refers to a program here in the Raleigh-Durham area
where we donate 20% of the proceeds to underage and binge drinking
organizations.
Oh, awesome.
Okay.
Yeah.
So not only are we recycling these beer bottles that would otherwise be thrown away, we give a portion of the proceeds for education.
So phenomenal candles.
Again, the website is getwastedcandles.com.
Now, how long have you been in business?
With this particular product, I've had it out for a year.
I do make other products, but this one has been out for more than a year.
I'm looking at the gallery right now.
All right, I'll tweet a link to it or whatever.
Again, it's getwastedcandles.com.
Really clever stuff.
And it looks like it may have crashed already.
But okay, we're going to tweet a link to it.
And hopefully, people keep checking it out.
All right, Teresa, thanks so much for calling.
Let's go to line number nine now.
Andy in Tennessee.
How are you?
Hello, Andy.
How are you?
I'm well.
How are you?
I'm doing well.
Tell me about your business.
So I'm calling about a novel that I recently published called Noah Croft, Conceived in Liberty.
It's a little bit of a dystopian tale about a sort of runaway federal agency that we call the Department of Social Responsibility.
I can actually hear that coming.
It's probably being proposed right now.
We'll keep our fingers crossed that it's not.
But it's also about
a faithful family, a religious family that's doing its best to maintain its freedom of religion.
And I won't get into too much about the details of that, but we want people to go ahead and read.
The book's available on Amazon in paperback and
as an e-book.
What's the name of it again?
Give me one more time.
Two weeks ago.
Yep, it's Noah Croft, Conceived in Liberty.
Okay, Conceived in Liberty.
Gotcha.
And when did you write it?
Just published it and made it available in the Amazon store two weeks ago.
Okay, so this is brand new then.
Brand new, yep.
Okay.
Have you written anything else?
This is my first novel.
Published a few other articles
and have done some sort of technical writing, but this is my first novel.
How hard is it to write a novel?
I always hear it's so difficult.
People say that all the time.
It's so difficult to write a novel.
You know, from my perspective, the thing was diligence, right?
Just write something every day
and go back and revise.
The biggest effort for me was research to make sure that all of the details feel real
as well as the dialogue.
Oh, okay, yeah.
Because you want, and I always thought about that because I've written some things for the show or whatever, even if it's just
satire or whatever.
And I want that historical reference to still be true, even though it's not really
germane to the story, you know.
Exactly, right?
Because if the details aren't there, everything sort of just falls flat.
Okay, Noah Croft, conceived in Liberty.
And what's your full name?
Andy Petro.
P-E-T-R-O.
All right.
I'm tweeting out a link to it, Andy.
Hopefully everybody will check that out.
Keep us posted, and I hope you do well with it, man.
Okay.
Thank you very much, Doc.
Happy holidays.
All right have a great day all right let's go back to the phones let's go to Gerald in Ohio we got one other author here I want to check out too how are you sir I'm doing good a little under the weather so excuse my voice a little bit not a problem we'll get through this and still get you some publicity tell me about your book
okay I write fiction
I like writing books about good versus evil
And I have two books out.
The second one's the sequel to the first one.
It's called The Genesis Beast.
And and it's a prehistoric shape-shifting creature that the heroes have to find a way to beat in the book.
Okay.
How long ago did you write it?
I wrote the first one back in 2011.
So is this a series?
Is this like with sequels?
Yeah, I have the second book.
It was published in 2014.
Okay, and give me the name once again so I can look it up and make sure I tweet out the link to it.
Okay,
the website is www.
G-E-N-E-S-I-S.
E-S-I-S.
Genesis, uh-huh.
Beast, B-E-A-S-T.
The number one,
the word and,
the number two, the column.
Got you.
Okay.
Genesis Beast one and two, and the numbers are actual numeric.
They're not written out.
Got it?
And I see the link right here.
Are you?
Oh, so you got multiple books up there, too, right?
Yeah, I'm working on some more now that probably won't be done until after the first of the year with some of those.
But
we have two books out.
Well, God bless you.
I'm going to tweet out a link to this.
Hopefully, we can get some attention for you.
And hopefully, you excel at this through the holidays.
All right.
Okay, thank you.
Thanks, Gerald.
Appreciate it.
I'm going to get a quick break in and back with more as we give you free commercials on this, The Glenn Beck, program.
Glenn, back.
Glenn back.
888-727-BEC on this Black Friday.
Lots of people are thinking about deals.
We're offering you deals.
We're offering you the ultimate deal, a free commercial for your business, because we believe in entrepreneurs, and we know that's the backbone of America.
That and Filipino Tilta were operators.
That's the backbone of America, Cal.
We know that.
All right, back to the phone lines we go.
Let's go to Nate in Georgia.
What's going on in the Peach State today?
Morning, Doc.
How are you?
I'm with Illuminate Electric.
Yes.
We provide a high level of service that seems to no longer exist.
We return calls.
I show up when I say I'll be there.
I complete jobs on time at or under budget.
And I stand behind my craftsmanship 100%.
So expire.
We don't need any fake businesses, okay?
You need to be honest.
So what is Illuminate Electric?
We do everything from electric vehicle charging stations to basement finishes.
If you bought a new light fixture or ceiling fan and you need it
on the ceiling, I'm your guy.
See, this is important because, see, I mean, I can do some of this stuff myself, Nate, but when it gets to certain things with electricity, I just, that's where I call you in a little bit of the stuff i mean i could turn the power off and you know change a socket or a light switch but it's it gets a little difficult for me it's a whole different story when you've got those wires staring you in the face right what's your website uh we have a facebook page at illuminate electric i tweeted it out and chris said that he would get that retweeted all right chris you're on that right all right chris gonna redo it from my account well go bless you what area are you located in georgia uh mostly in the atlanta area and northwest headed up toward uh murphy North Carolina, as well.
All right.
You need an electrician.
Anybody who can handle any of that stuff for you, especially during the holidays?
Here's your guy, Illuminate Electric.
Electric.
Thanks, buddy.
Appreciate it.
Thanks, Doc.
Let's go to Idaho now.
And Michael, how are you?
I am doing well.
I am doing well.
Thank you.
Thank you for calling.
So, what is it you do?
Well, I am an author, and I have written a book called The Founders Revolution, and it is the forgotten history and principles of the Declaration of independence well it's right up my alley right off give me some uh give me some examples or tell me a little bit more about it
um well um it is i've written it this is non-fiction it is from the words i write as much as possible from the words of the founding fathers as well as other original source documents giving insight into every charge and claim that the founders made in the declaration and you will uncover what the founders intended America to become with their lofty yet practical ideals of the proper role of government.
Okay, now you're just talking crazy because we don't want that.
Right.
No, we don't.
But
we truly have forgotten those principles, that history.
And, of course, I have to make
insight into how government is doing the same to us that King George III was doing to them,
well, doing to us
You know, it's funny.
I saw somebody tweeting over the weekend, and they were being critical of the president and something else, and mentioned, you know, how he hasn't respected the Constitution or whatever it was.
And I just saw, I was sitting there with
my jaw on the floor thinking, okay, even if you question him on that, how are you on the left not holding past presidents accountable, President Obama, Bush, whomever?
We seem to be one-sided, you know, whatever camp we're in, calling out people for some of the same things when across the board we have a lot of people that are not, you know, respecting the Constitution, for example.
Yeah, we certainly are.
And there is plenty of blame to go around in all parties and with most individuals.
So, okay, your last name is Law.
Is that right?
Law, L-A-W, yes.
So it's michaellawauthor.com.
Did I get that right?
That is correct.
And you can also find it on Amazon, barnes noble
uh kindle if you want a kindle good deal everywhere well what i'm gonna i want to make sure to get that out there though michaellawauthor.com because because if you look it up by title which i tried to do it gets a little muddy because there's similar titles even though they're not the same so the founders revolution is what it's called right
that is correct and just uh just fyi um it is currently uh for pre-sale um everywhere it actually comes out in uh january oh good okay
and then And then comes out physically in April.
However, if some people don't want to wait, I do have
not too many, but a couple thousand of my
author advanced copies for sale now.
Gotcha.
Well, I'm going to go ahead and tweet this out, Michael.
Thanks so much.
Appreciate the call.
And hopefully this will work for you.
Let's go to Florida real quick.
And Alexis, how are you?
Hey, Alexis, how are you doing?
Are you there?
Ken.
Oh, this is Ken.
I got something screwed up here.
Ken, how are you?
Good.
How are you doing?
Doing well.
So thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and my company.
I'm a 14-year military veteran, and I founded CompuDev Solutions about three years ago.
We are based out of Southern Florida in Punta Gorda, Florida.
We provide information technology services to small businesses that otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it.
What's your website?
How can people reach us?
They can reach us by doing CompuDev Solutions.
That's C-O-M-P-U-D-E-V solutions.com.
And there's a contact form on there, or they can reach us through our phone number, 941-356-9335.
All right, so I have this on there, Ken, and it's CompuDev, D-E-V, CompuDev Solutions.
I found it.
I'm going to tweet out a link to it with the the hashtag Building America.
I wish you the best of luck and Merry Christmas.
Happy holidays, buddy.
Thank you very much, Doc.
Don't forget, look it up with the hashtag BuildingAmerica.
Glenn, back.
This is the Glenn Back Program.
And it's Doc Thompson in for Glenn today.
My excuse, Cal, is they've never told me not to.
I started this a couple years ago, giving commercials away on Black Friday.
And they never said not to.
So until they say it, I'm going to do it.
Why not?
And I mean, you've given a lot of forewarning.
I have.
I've been promoting it for a week or whatever.
So let's just get back to it before they shut us down.
Let's go to the Buckeye State.
And Shelly, thanks for holding you on the Glenn Beck program.
How are you, Shelly?
That would be line number eight, Cal.
Happy Friday.
Happy Black Friday to you and happy holidays.
What is your business that you would like to promote?
Well, I have a gluten-free bakery called Moondance Dessert that I started in my kitchen 12 years ago, and it has grown to be a national brand, and we make delicious cheesecakes, brownies, coffee cakes, and every type of cookie, including holiday cookies this time of year.
Okay, I have to apologize for Chris Cruz, too, because I think you're the one he was on the phone with during the break, and I heard him.
He's like, really?
No, you can send me cookies.
He samples all for himself, right?
Yeah, that's very Chris Cruz.
I caught him giving his home address.
I know, what was that about?
I was like, Give the studio address so we can share the love around you.
Shelly, we've had this problem in the past.
People send stuff in, and they never make it from Chris's house.
So, all right.
Well, you know, that's what happens with desserts.
People want to want to keep them for themselves.
So, how did you get the idea?
Why did you say, Okay, I'm going to do desserts?
Why is that your business?
Well, because I found out about 15 years ago that I couldn't eat gluten, and it was a pretty sparse market back then.
And I figured out that a lot of people don't really know how to bake or like to bake, and everyone wants desserts.
So I started out to give people gluten-free desserts that don't taste gluten-free.
And I think I really have succeeded in that.
And
so, you know, it's just kind of grown.
And I'm a woman-owned business.
And like I said, I started on my own in my kitchen.
And we have wonderful customers all all over the country.
And we sell in retail stores from Ohio to California to Florida to Texas.
And we're in Whole Foods.
So
you just launched.
Why you managed getting Whole Foods in some other stores as well?
Yes, sir, we did.
We just launched in 350 Kroger stores two weeks ago in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
What part of Ohio are you?
I'm in Cincinnati.
Okay, that helps if you're in Kroger then.
Right, because Kroger's local, right?
That's a good one.
Exactly, exactly.
But see, this is, and I want to spend just an extra minute with you, too.
Again, it's MoondanceDesserts.com.
MoondanceDesserts.com.
I just tweeted a link to it.
But a moment of advice to get some advice for other people as well.
Obviously, you can do stuff online, be very successful.
For your type of product, though, to be able to get in stores is really important.
That's a difficult process, isn't it?
Yes, it is.
It is.
It takes persistence because you can imagine how many businesses are trying to get in the doors of buyers but you know I think that's what it was I just found a way to market myself and I and I had a product that I really believed in and I you know just kept emailing just kept calling because the the main I think the main thing is is to get the food in their mouth and I don't know how much you know about gluten-free but a lot of the food out there it just doesn't taste good and you know that was that was
the most important thing to me is if they taste it, they will come.
That's what scares me about the gluten-free.
It always kind of fails when you try it.
If anything, I like extra gluten.
Right.
Usually the stuff doesn't taste good, right?
Usually.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And I have had people
really question,
how do you make this gluten-free?
Because it tastes so good.
And that's kind of what I do.
I just test and I test and I test until people can't tell it tastes gluten-free.
And
I think I've really nailed it.
But
it's an adventure.
And
I was in sales for a long time but you know when you really when you're selling something you believe in and you know it's it just makes you feel good and when i think sometimes you know we ship out product every week on on you know big semi trucks and i think this that i made with my own hands is going to be in california and it's just that's cool it really is it makes you feel good well shelly i appreciate you sharing a little bit more of your story because i hope it's uh inspiration to other people and thanks so much for calling and checking in it's uh moondance desserts.com okay
thank Thanks so much for your time.
And you guys have a great Christmas and great holidays.
You as well.
MoondanceDesserts.com.
Yeah, I want to spend a little bit more time.
She touched on a couple of regular things we've learned over and over from people on our Building Americas during our morning broadcast.
And that is persistence has to be a part of it.
Number one, persistence.
If you have a passion for what you do, it's going to help you be persistent.
And at some point, you step off a safe ground.
Hopefully with education, some calculated risks, right?
That's the only way.
That's what gets it done.
All right, back to the phones.
A lot of people to get to.
Let's go to Wyoming now.
Is it Kenton?
It's nine number five, Cal.
Kenton?
Oh, it's Keaton.
Oh, Keaton.
Keaton, how are you?
Tell me about your business.
I'm doing great.
My business is DC Mountaineering, and we are a rock climbing company that has come up with a product that solves a common issue in rock climbing.
That is that climbers have to leave their gear outdoors on the wall when they can't finish a climb for whatever reason.
And so it's called the firefly, and it helps climbers get their gear off the wall.
Okay, now explain what the problem is.
You have to leave your gear when what happens?
Yeah, so if a climber can't finish a lead climb for any reason,
it's too hard or the weather gets bad or they just have to bail for any reason, they usually have to leave their gear up on the wall.
That could be a carabiner or a quick draw to get off the wall.
They have to repel off of that.
So what we've done is we've developed a small little piece of equipment that attaches to that carabiner.
And with a cord, they repel down and then they pull on the cord and it pops off their quick draw or their carabiner right off the wall.
And they can clean the wall every time and get their gear back.
Oh, this is awesome.
Now, is this a Kickstarter for you?
You're trying to get the full funding.
So, your business, and this is another thing we like, really, Keaton.
So, we just talked to a woman who's a little further down the road starting her business than yours, and you know, she's experiencing some more of the success.
But you're at another stage that we've got this product, it's a good product, just help us get it off the ground, right?
Exactly.
Yep.
Yep.
We're live on Kickstarter until December 10th.
And, you know, we're doing really good, but we need some more help to be able to make this a reality for all climbers.
So it's DCmountaineering.com.
I'm there now.
It says the Firefly is now available on Kickstarter.
It's 75% funded.
So far, you've raised just over $11,000.
Am I reading that right?
Correct.
Yep.
And our goal is $15,000.
Okay.
You only need a couple of grand.
So, you know, somebody who's a rock climber, somebody that wants to be involved in this, or you just want to help Keaton out, a couple of bucks is going to go a long way for him to get up over that.
I mean, you're 75% there.
Correct.
Yep.
All right.
Listen, Keaton, you hang in there.
Good luck to you.
Keep us posted.
We'll try to get you up over that 15,000 today, okay?
Thanks so much.
Thanks so much.
I'll tweet out a link to it as well.
But see, I like helping the people that are.
that are early on in the campaigns as well.
Starting to get off the ground.
And the crowdfunding or crowdsources funding for stuff is really a great way to go because it is.
A lot of times they're saying you're just getting, you're pledging to buy it.
So you're not just donating money to people.
You're just going to be one of the first ones who get the product.
Plus, if you're one of the first, you know, quote-unquote investors and pledgers, you get some extra stuff that they give out as part of it, not just the item itself.
Think about like, what, 50 years ago when someone was starting a business, there was no crowdfunding.
There was no way to reach people and ask to see if they wanted to, you know, buy into your product.
Oh, no.
In fact,
if you try to get money, the ironic thing is there's so many people out there that want to invest their money.
And there's so many people out there that need money.
Getting them together is crazy because if you're an investor, there's so many bad,
risky things that are horrible.
And to get through them, so a buddy of mine years ago,
he takes like his last couple of bucks and he takes this trip to New York.
He rides the train from Virginia up to New York.
And he'd been traveling in some circles with some big money people and got to know a couple of them and had this pitch.
It was a great idea.
And he scrounges up his last like 80 bucks, takes the train to New York.
He's only had enough money to be up there for the day.
Goes to this big meeting
and
finally runs into the guy he wants to, met him many times.
And he goes up to the guy, how you doing?
Hey, how you doing there, man?
Good, good.
And he said, listen, I have this blah, blah.
And he gets like eight words into it.
And the guy goes, I can't help you.
Shuts him down.
And he goes, Yeah, no, I know what I'm saying.
He goes, I can't help you, but I can't help you.
And walked away.
Wow.
Now,
spun mine.
This was his whole, everything was out there for it.
He was, you know, this was his moment.
He said, I, I had like $18 left in my pocket, and I immediately went out on the street and bought a pack of cigarettes for like $14 of the dollars or $16 of the dollars.
He goes, I had to wait around for the train like eight hours.
I had no money to do anything.
Broke.
He said, I went into a little restaurant area where he goes, I couldn't even afford the peanuts on the menu because I only had like two bucks left.
He goes, so I waited there for hours just smoking the cigarettes because I was so miserable.
He called me just a couple of days ago.
That story was six, seven years ago, five years ago, six years ago, something like that.
And since then, he stayed with it.
found some other investors' resources, but he goes, that was one of the darkest moments of my life because he goes, I was just so low.
I couldn't even afford anything.
And he really thought that was going to be.
I mean, being an entrepreneur is definitely a tough journey.
It takes a certain type of person.
He's actually got something big coming out in the next couple of months.
We may end up sharing with you.
All right, in Virginia now, let's go to Blair.
Blair, tell me about your business.
Hey, Doc, greetings from WRVA country.
Oh, good to talk to you.
Good to hear from you, sir.
Yeah, so I am the co-founder chef of Personal Chef to Go.
And at Personal Chef to Go, we bring back the family dinner hour with fresh, never frozen,
fully prepared meals that are delivered nationwide.
And we started shipping nationwide in 2007.
So we're kind of an innovator in this market before, you know, when we first started out, people were like, gosh, food in the mail.
How can you do that?
You know, I've heard of frozen steaks and stuff.
But we had to, you know, by carefully preparing the food, packaging it, we were able to sort of grind it out through recessions, through
a lot of different industries.
And,
you know, here it is, 2017.
And, you know, we're struggling a little bit because the kit meals are getting all the attention, which are, you know, they're wonderful.
But we tend to say, you know, that's great for people that have that lifestyle, but we care to a lot of people who are
can't prepare foods, seniors, busy professionals.
So, the difference to yours is yours are more prepared than some of the others where they send you the ingredients and the recipes.
Is that right?
Oh, yeah, they're fully prepared.
They're chef-created meals that are fully cooked.
They're sealed in a special way so that they provide through an oxygen-free packaging so that they maintain their freshness and flavor for 12 days.
And then they're ready in three minutes.
Oh, that's awesome!
Yeah, it's a no-prep solution.
In fact,
when Glenn was in town,
I prepared some food for him, and then he said, Hey, you know, let me try some of your meals.
I sent some to him, and they loved all of them.
I think Tanya, because she's a talk with her hands, Italian,
Glenn said, she wasn't as really thrilled about the pasta dishes, but everything else they loved, just because,
you know, she had to let, you know, she couldn't give up her own pasta.
Of course, of course.
So real quick, so is it personal chef to go?
Personalcheftogo.com.
Okay.
That's right.
I'm going to tweet out a link to it right now.
Personal Chef2Go.
Again, any of these, if you want to look up, go to Twitter, look up hashtag BuildingAmerica, or follow me at Doc Thompson's show, and I'll tweet them all out.
Real quick, a buddy of mine, Chef Patrick, who's on, Patrick Mosier, who's on with us regularly during the week, has tried to start and probably 15 years ago tried to start something similar, and the market wasn't ready for it yet.
He was just bad timing, but it looks like you've come into an era where a whole generation of people don't cook.
So this is good for you.
It is, but I really appreciate the opportunity because we still are sort of a, you know, a small business that's struggling to
cut through, you know, a lot of the advertising.
And, you know, we're two guys that believe in what we do.
We support our local community.
Well, hopefully, hopefully this is going to help you out.
I just tweeted it out.
And Blair, thanks so much for listening.
I appreciate it.
Cashtag Building America.
You too, sir.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays.
The website, again, personal chef to go.
You want to plug your business?
888-727-BEC.
It's Doc Thompson in for Glenn today.
Glenn back.
Glenn Beck.
Doc Thompson in for Glenn on this Black Friday.
Thanks for joining us.
888-727-BEC, you want to plug your business on this Black Friday.
We're just trying to help businesses grow, do what we can because we support entrepreneurs and free markets and freedom on this program.
Line number 10 now, standing by in the Mitten State.
Patrick in Michigan, welcome to the program.
Hello, thank you.
Tell me about your business.
It's rustic design and blacksmithing.
It was started about a year ago with me and my wife.
And what type of things do you do?
I'm the blacksmith, so anything made out of metal, pretty much I can make it.
The wife redoes furniture and makes custom furniture.
Okay, where can I find it?
Give me your website before I ask you anything else so we can start getting people on it.
No problem.
It's rusticdesign and blacksmithing at facebook.com.
Okay.
So it'd be facebook.com slash rusticdesign and blacksmithing, right?
Okay, good.
Correct.
All right, I found the Facebook page, and then I'll send out a link to it, too, so people can find it.
How long have you been around?
About a year ago, you said?
Yeah, we started the business about a year ago.
I've been smithing for about four years now.
Oh, I see.
You got all kinds of stuff up here, too.
Oh, this is awesome stuff.
Nice job.
Nice job.
All right, I'm going to send this out again.
It's rusticdesign and blacksmithing.
Go to facebook.com/slash rusticdesign and blacksmithing.
Did I get that right?
Correct.
All right, sounds good.
Got to get a break in here, and then we're going to come back.
And right after the top of the hour, I'm going to get as many as I can, just roll these off to help you promote your business.
Don't forget, it's got to be your business.
You can also look up ones that we've had on using the hashtag Building America and look up my account on Twitter because I'll retweet them all out at Doc Thompson Show.
Glenn Back
Love, Courage,
Truth.
Glenn Back
It's kind of become a tradition when I fill in for Glenn on the Friday after Thanksgiving because it's Black Friday and kind of a focus on commerce and entrepreneurship that I give people some free commercials.
They've never told me not to.
So when I've done it, they've never said don't do that again in the future.
So until they tell me not to, I'm just going to give away free commercials.
We believe in entrepreneurs.
We believe in building America by starting businesses.
And when I say business, it doesn't necessarily mean for-profit.
It could be a non-profit.
It's just the entrepreneurial spirit, people who dream and then actually do, who try things.
There's lots of very successful people in the the world who tried all kinds of things and failed.
People started business after business and failed.
You may not have the idea of starting a business that's going to be your primary focus.
Maybe that's just not you.
But the future is likely going to be what they call the gig economy.
You're likely not going to have one income.
When my father was growing up,
You didn't even need to have a high school education.
You go and work in the factory.
Depending on the factory, you could usually make pretty good money.
That's what he did.
And then you needed a high school education, then a college education, and now a college education, and many people end up with $60,000, $80,000 in debt by the time they start the business world.
And for what?
A job that will start you at, maybe if you're lucky, $40,000 a year with no job security?
We know AI is a thing.
Automation's coming.
The future is what you make of it.
Throughout history, the future has at times looked very bleak.
But when you look back, you go, well, I recognize their fears, but hindsight, I know what really happened.
We know automation is going to take over huge portions of our world, many
sectors of the economy.
Right now, most states,
the number one job in most states, the most common job, most states is truck driver.
That's going to be one of the first things to go.
The automated trucks are already out there.
Cars are already in the road.
And every company is working on some sort of automated big delivery truck.
Oh, that's that's a yeah, that's an industry that's going to get hit pretty hard in the next
one.
It's coming and it's coming fast.
And trucking, if you're a hustler, you can make some cash.
You can do okay.
I mean, those guys have a hard job.
They're on the road.
You know, they don't see their family a lot.
They go to their truck.
Oh, I really appreciate what they do.
But that job may change.
So maybe you have a big career change coming in the future because of this, or maybe your job is safe, but you need a little extra money.
Whatever it is, that entrepreneurial spirit is what's going to see you through.
So let's open up the phone lines and just go through as many of these as we can, giving people some free commercials.
If you miss any of them, follow me on Twitter at Doc Thompson Joe and look up the hashtag BuildingAmerica.
Russell, joining us now from Florida.
How are you, sir?
I am phenomenal.
I thought you were telling my story.
Really?
Tell me what happened.
Well, I used to be a tow truck driver.
I went back to school, became an engineer, and now I sell skincare as well as be a real estate agent.
Oh, so you got it.
You get it.
Yeah, you hustle.
I appreciate guys who do a lot.
Yep.
Well, we purchased this company, Liberty Health Network, and we had a product called V La Say.
Back then it was called Beau Visage, but we had to get it trademarked and
branded.
And we started getting pictures from our customers before and after.
And we said, we can't use these.
They're photoshopped.
And I said, no, they're not.
And what our product is, it's a facelift without surgery a non-surgical facelift mask and I actually tried the product myself and said you know this thing works we've got something here we started selling and it went gangbusters we've been selling on Amazon for about five years we've never had a negative company feedback on Amazon but we have a special offer for the Glen Beck listeners if you go to our corporate website not only will you get the lowest price with the Black Friday pricing if you put the promo code BECK V-E-C-K, we're going to give another 50% off on the product.
And the company website is vlasay.com.
V-I-L-I-S-S-E.com.
All right.
And I just tweeted out a link to it as well.
And you still do the other things, right?
You still have the other businesses?
Yeah.
Okay.
Still an active realtor.
Yep, absolutely.
That's great.
See, the reason I want to bring that up is because if you've just heard my monologue,
we can't rely on anything anymore as far as a job or business goes, you know, and any business you have may be going gangbusters and at some point could change.
So
you got to be passionate about it.
You got to get it.
Absolutely.
The landscape continually changes and you've got to change with it or we're going to be left behind.
Absolutely.
V-lasay.com.
V-I-L-I-E-E.
Give me that to you again.
V-I-L-I-S-S-E.com.
Okay.
Promo code Beck, B-E-C-K.
All right.
Thanks so much, Russell.
Appreciate it.
Let's go to Ohio now.
Line number three.
Randy, thanks for holding.
You're on the Glenn Beck program.
Hey, Doc.
It's a blast from the past.
Is it rocking, Randy?
Rocking, Randy.
What's happening?
How are you doing, brother?
I'm doing great, boss.
We're upcoming company Citywide Solutions.
We do the articulating gates like at the Cleveland Clinic or maybe the big mansion gates that swing open.
Oh, yeah.
Been in business for about four and a half years now.
You can contact us at www.citywide Solutions with an F Incorporated.com.
Citywide Solutions.
Citywide Solutions, Inc., I-N-C.com.
You got it.
All right.
Call the office at 1-1-844-395-4101.
All right, Rock and Randy.
Good to hear from you.
Hang on a second.
Let me put you on hold.
I'm going to get some more information from you as well.
Pennsylvania, Paul, you're on the Glenn Beck program.
How are you?
Yes, this is Paul Albert.
I'm very glad to have you doing this.
Yeah,
I hope people get some value out of this.
That's really the reason we do this.
This is all for everybody else.
Let me help promote your business.
So tell me about yours.
Okay, the name of the business is Aircraft and Avionics Sales.
My son and I started this business nine years ago, and we repair aircraft avionics, which is aviation electronics, and install new avionics in aircraft.
And we've been we also are busy doing ADS-B in each aircraft.
This is a mandate from the FAA that all aircraft need to have it installed.
And we're located in New Cumberland, PA at Capital City Airport.
And we are the only company in the country that repair narco radios.
And we're repairing those radios all the time.
So it's a very interesting business.
How long have you been doing this?
Well, I've been been doing it for 50 years, but our business we have now has been nine years.
So you've still been around a little while, and it's tough to roll through the changes, isn't it?
Oh, my gosh.
That's why not everybody's done entremodure.
Right.
That's just it.
You're absolutely right, Paul.
The ups and downs are very tough.
Well, and that's part of the reason we focus so much on this, because like I said, in the future,
everybody's going to have to have a little bit more of that because it's not going to be as stable.
You know, it may be a situation where we're all farmers on some degree again, where you have a little garden to take care of some of that.
But we better get it again.
We better learn it, right?
Yep, that's right.
Thanks for watching.
My website is aircraft, and the word and spelled out, A-N-D, avionics, and that's A-V-I-O-N-I-C-S dot com.
And I just tweeted out a link to it, Paul, in Pennsylvania.
Thanks so much.
It's aircraftandavionics.com.
Aircraftandavionics.com.
Let's go to Kentucky now.
Roy, what's happening in the Commonwealth this morning?
Hey, I'm here just to give you guys a little update on our massageville.
It's in Florence, Kentucky.
It's just a small company.
We've been in business almost four years and just trying to grow and grow each year.
And we do a lot of things with military.
We do offer them a special discount with anybody retired military, our heroes locally, firemen, EMTs, paramedics.
We do offer a program, unlike the chains.
We do try to reward our customers that are clients, and we offer them a program where they can purchase a small VIP card and and and get 20% discounts and then actually receive free massages without any monetary or commitment to payments each month.
You know it's funny.
I think this is this is one of the businesses, more retail businesses, you know, as opposed to just online of the future.
Because I think more and more people are going to get massages not just for, oh, I feel pretty good, get a little relaxation, but as we get older, bodies getting beaten up over the years, it really helps.
It absolutely does.
It is a great thing.
It's a great stress reliever.
I know a lot of our clients come in.
They just come in.
They just want some time by themselves.
They want a chance to relax and they have some rest and just do away some stress.
So I know that's something that we're just seeing more and more people that come in just for that benefit of just having some rest and relaxation and stress relief.
And of course, also health care and health maintenance in business as well.
We go out to businesses and do chair massages or tail massages as well.
So Northern Kentucky, or I guess Southeast Indiana, southwest Ohio, you're located in Florence, Kentucky.
Massageville.biz.
Massageville.biz, your ultimate passport to relaxation.
Yes, sir.
I do.
Thanks, buddy.
Appreciate it.
And by the way, Roy, if you get a chance, please check out theblaze.com.
Find my page, Doc Thompson.
See if you can find Chris Cruz's picture.
Post that in the front of your business.
If anybody sees him walk into massageville.biz.
I don't want to be able to.
Is that what I do?
No, I'm saying to keep him out.
That's what I'm saying.
If you see this man, do not let him in.
This is going to be a problem.
I I already offered myself.
I know what you're doing.
He said I have to go to Kentucky, so I'm not going to Kentucky for a massage.
Did you ask him, what do I do with my hands?
I did.
He said, just relax.
Just relax.
Okay, what do I do with my hands?
Although we may end up on the road this year, you'll be in northern Kentucky at some point.
Drop into massageville.
All right, massageville.biz.
Let's go to New York now.
Joe, how are you?
Hey, good morning.
How are you?
Doing well.
Tell me about your business.
It is the Patriot Institute.
It's the at patriotinstitute.org and the story behind it is when i retired from the army after uh 24 years in 2010 i saw where the country was going and i kind of didn't like it so i started the patriot institute as a school and um to inform people about the america's founding and our principles and convictions that made america great and uh we've got we've grown and uh we've partnered with hillsdale college and we've got over 200 classes on there from hillsdale college And we've got a number of writers and all of our commentary and political analysis, 100% original content.
And we've launched a clothing line recently
called American Patriot Wear.
And it's on the Patriot market on our website.
That is awesome.
You're certainly doing the Lord's work here with the
Patriot Institute and the fact that you've partnered up with Hillsdale so people know they're getting really quality stuff, if you're familiar with Hillsdale at all.
Yes,
they're fantastic.
And I've since authored a book called Of Faith and Freedom, which talks about our Christian Judeo-founding and the principles and what made America great and capitalism and how the two are interwoven.
And
I really believe in this, and we have continued to grow, and we're always looking for original writers.
And we've got 19 columnists right now who
write daily and a newsletter, and it's fantastic.
And I just want to get the word out there.
Yep, patriotinstitute.org.
PatriotInstitute.org.
I'm tweeting a link right now.
It was funny when I said the Lord's work.
A couple of guys kind of looked at me.
And it was my monologue at the top of the broadcast: that capitalism and freedom go hand in hand.
And if you think about the foundations of America, Joe, and I'm sure I can find representations of this written about on your site.
America has lifted more people out of poverty and oppression than any society that has ever been.
And
it's based on those principles of freedom and free markets.
And we've known this right from the beginning.
We talked about this yesterday with the pilgrims and their experimentation with socialism and its failure.
And only turning to free market capitalism did they prosper.
And that's just it.
So I have tweeted out a link to patriotinstitute.org.
If I can help you in the future, you let me know, buddy, okay?
Our only revenue stream right now is American Patriot wears the t-shirts and coffee cups and products that we have on sale for there.
Okay, good.
So make sure to pick up the products if you want to help fund it.
And make sure I get it right.
PatriotInstitute.org, right?
That's correct.
Yes.
Thank you very much.
Absolutely.
Yes.
So if you want to help them out, go there and read the stuff.
But if you want to help fund and keep it going, you purchase the hat, the shirt, whatnot.
All right.
Let's go to North Carolina now.
Enrich, you're on the Glenbeck program.
How are you?
Good morning.
Thank you for this opportunity.
It's great to see the entrepreneurial spirit alive and well well in the 21st century.
Absolutely.
We are picking up that torch and we're holding it high for you, Rich.
We all appreciate it.
It's great to hear everyone's stories.
All right.
Tell me about your story.
DrumworksFurniture.com.
That's right.
We take
55-gallon steel drums and recycle them, repurpose them into amazingly comfortable furniture storage.
We make bars.
We're available nationwide with our retail partners such as Wayfair, Amazon, House, Hayneedle, and the list goes on.
All right, let me see what I got here.
Some really cool stuff here.
Yeah, we're just pulling it up.
This is awesome.
Turned drums into furniture, and it's really cool-looking, too.
It's very
there's almost there's almost a creative design.
Yes, creative design.
Some of it, Rich, looks almost an Art Deco style, which I love.
Yes, it does.
Most of it is very industrial-looking.
Love that, too.
People love it.
We use nothing but top-grade materials in manufacturing our furniture.
We're located here in the furniture capital of the world, High Point, North Carolina.
Our items ship in 48 hours.
Made in America, eco-friendly designs.
I'm just reading off the website here.
How do you come across the barrels?
Do people just sell them back to you?
No, we have to be very careful about what we use.
Oh, yeah.
We source the drums from an industrial recycling company that recycles steel drums for industrial use.
So when we get them, they're all cleaned and they only had oil in them to begin with.
Nothing hazardous.
No, we don't want to do that.
I love the love the car bar.
Very interesting.
So imagine, yeah, imagine you walk into somebody's garage and you see a 55-gallon drum, but it's really well finished, you know, cleaned up where you can kind of set stuff up on the top.
But the front of it opens and they're shelving in there so you got a little bar to put your supplies and whatever too that's really cool innovative stuff rich drumworksfurniture.org what i'm going to do is i'm going to do you an extra little favor oh excuse me dot com thank you drumworksfurniture.com i'm going to send a link of this to glenn because uh glenn loves furniture and creative stuff like this so who knows maybe you get a knock on your door someday from him okay we'll even answer it all right rich thanks so much buddy appreciate it drumworksfurniture.com quick break back with more on this, the Glenn Back program.
Glenn back.
Glenn Beck.
Doc Thompson in for Glenn today.
We're giving people some free commercials on this Black Friday.
You want to plug your business?
Give you 60 seconds or so to talk about your business.
Just call 888-727-BEC.
If you miss anybody and you want to check it out, follow me on Twitter at Doc Thompson Show.
And I'm tweeting out a link to all of the ones we talk to.
Let's go to, is it Utah now?
And Brandon, line number eight.
How are you, sir?
There we go.
Brandon, how are you, sir?
Yeah, good, thanks.
How are you?
Doing well.
Tell me about your business.
Yeah, it's actually my mom.
And I appreciate the opportunity to promote my mom.
But there is nobody more deserving than I think,
you know, what she's done.
And, you know, I got to say there's nothing better than to teach your kids hard work and value.
And she's done that.
She's worked full-time, you know, our whole life.
And she would always make time to come home.
And, well, she would come home after a long day and make us all, you know, a home-cooked meal.
And there's nothing like that.
And,
you know, there's just so much that
she said throughout the years
that have stuck.
And, you know, and I got to say, it's really raised the bar for me with, you know, with my family.
And it's just so important that you work hard and, you know, you set that example for your kids.
But anyway, so she's early into retirement and she still works because she can't, you know, she just can't be still and she's she's got to stay doing something.
And she's taken up
authorship.
She started to write books, and, you know, I got to say, I mean, honestly, she's one of the most interesting person
that I've seen.
Hang on a second, Brian.
Let me get back to what you're promoting, though, so we don't lose that in the
Bore and Castle Sauce.
Is that right?
No, no, no.
Oh, wait, I'm sorry.
That's the wrong one.
I'm on the next one.
That's my fault.
That's what's confused about that.
There we go.
Okay, the screen jumped around on me there.
What is your mom's book?
Sorry about that.
Oh,
she has like six or seven.
She just keeps writing them and she keeps pumping them out.
And I keep asking her, well, how are you doing as far as selling them?
And she's like, oh, not too well, but it's kind of hard.
You know, it's kind of hard to get your name out there.
So she's just like, I just keep writing and I just enjoy putting them out there.
And I was listening to
a world-renowned book.
Give me something.
How do we find her?
Yeah, how do we find her?
And give me the book title.
Yeah, yeah.
Her name is Robin Rant,
R-O-B-Y-N-R-A-N-C-E.
And like I said, she has several.
And at the top of my head, I know my wife's been reading.
I don't read, but my wife reads them, and she says they're actually really good.
Robin Rant, and I think I
got it right here.
And I'm going to tweet out a link to it so they can check out all of the books for themselves.
And I'll give you another plug right when we come back, Brandon.
Glenn, back.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
Hi, Brandon.
Our last caller before the break.
I couldn't find, I was looking up and I didn't find your mom's stuff.
Tweet at me at Doc Thompson Show.
Use the hashtag BuildingAmerica.
We'll retweet you and get it out there.
If you do, I'll also announce it or whatever.
That's part of it's my fault.
I got him confused with somebody else I saw on our screen.
And then, second of all, he wasn't as clear where we were going with that.
So quite a few Robin Rants came up in our search.
So
it wasn't clear, but I want to to get it out there.
His wife might know.
Maybe.
She may.
Just go ahead and tweet it out.
It's at Doc Thompson's show.
All right, let's go to North Carolina now.
Bella, I was confusing our previous guest with yours, bore and castlesauce.com.
How are you?
I'm fine.
Thank you.
It's so good to talk to you this morning.
You know, you're the only one who says that.
Most people hate talking to me, but thank you so much.
Bore and Castle Sauce.
I'm on the website.
What is boring castle sauce?
Bore and castle sauce is literally the best sauce on the planet.
It's a tomato mustard vinegar sauce.
We have been in business for nearly 90 years, almost 100.
The Boring Castle used to be like America Giti type place in Greensboro for about 50 years.
They had the car hops and the people would cruise.
Oh, so anybody in the region knows this stuff.
They're like, that's right.
Oh, yeah.
It runs through our veins.
We don't have blood.
We have boring castle.
All right.
But it's great on everything.
You can cook with it, marinate, dip, season, grill.
It's the sauce that made Castle Burgers famous at the Bourne Castle.
But it was so good, they ended up putting it on everything, like burgers, shrimp, chicken, ribs, just everything.
And I see you have the story up at the website as well.
So go to boreandcastlesauce.com.
boreandcastlesauce.com and um they can i think a lot of people like to sample stuff like this that you know is season is regional that uh they're not familiar with and you'll find something new usually that uh that you like so hopefully lots of people will
Yeah, it's so good.
And you can order it online.
And also like our Facebook page, Bore and Castle Sauce.
And you'll see all the old pictures with the old cars.
It's really cool.
Really cool.
Awesome.
Thank you so much, Bella.
It's an boarandcastlesauce.com.
All right, let's go to Cincinnati, line number 11.
And Joe, you're on the Glenn Beck program.
Hey, Joe, how are you doing?
Hey, Doc.
It's a pleasure talking to you.
You as well, sir.
What's your business?
Well, I am a health and wellness coach, and I have gotten certified in order to help people who
are dieting or are trying to
get over that hump.
They can't get that last stubborn 10, 15 pounds off, or they are overweight, they don't know how to get started.
About three years ago, I was 470 pounds, and since then, I've lost 200.
Oh, my gosh.
And I want, yeah, and I want to give back to everyone that has helped me in the past and helped me go through this journey.
So I want to give back and help others that can make it through and get to their goal.
Oh, that's awesome.
So you're in the Cincinnati area?
Correct, Cincinnati.
All right.
And how can people find you?
You can find me right now.
I just got a Facebook page.
It's Team470.
It's 470 because I was 470 pounds.
And it's the number 10.
Is it the number 470?
It's not spelled out, right?
Right.
Okay.
Right.
The number 470.
And if you're local,
we do walking groups.
If you're out of the market,
I've done Skype, FaceTime
sessions via that.
So I appreciate the opportunity.
I found you here.
So facebook.com/slash team470.
Team470.
Oh, you look great.
I see your picture there.
Wow.
You were tipping the scales there a little bit, weren't you?
Yeah,
maybe I had too many of those moonbeam desserts.
That's probably what it was.
All right, Joe, thanks, buddy.
Appreciate it.
Again, it's facebook.com/slash team470.
Let's go to line number 12 now in Chicago.
Is it Gwen?
It is.
Hey there, Doc.
Hey there.
How are you?
Wonderful.
So my name is Gwen Rich, and I'm the founder of the Rich Solution,
which is the Gwen Marie Collection.
So it's a women's handbag collection that connects with the cancer community.
And so we raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.
And you can find us at GwenMarieCollection.com.
So what's really neat is, so my business started about three years ago with a mission to specifically address education to help women reduce their risk of cancer.
So I'm really excited to tell you that we have grown since then and taking the business to the next level.
So in addition to selling handbags to raise money for cancer research, we are focusing on celebrating living with meaning and my real journey as a teacher.
So we are starting an online teaching community called the Rich Solution.
So it's going to launch next month.
And it is a place where people in our own community as well as the extended community we will be building, can come and learn from our journey.
Oh, so you got multifaceted here.
Oh, my gosh, for sure.
And this month is really exciting because I have reached a major milestone with my health.
And so I just celebrated my five-year anniversary of my diagnosis.
And this is really significant because less than one out of four women with an incurable breast cancer diagnosis makes it to this five-year milestone.
Oh, that's awesome to hear.
First of all, that's amazing.
Yeah.
So, woohoo.
Yeah,
that's great.
Yeah.
So also, I want to tell you that we are, our first, first book is being released in January called The 5% Advantage.
And it is to help people thrive in all areas of their life,
no matter how hard their struggle.
Because what I know to be true, Doc, is that there are many things suckier than cancer.
We're really excited about this.
Yeah,
there are.
There are.
It's pretty awful, but yeah.
So it's thegwenmariecollection.com.
Am Am I getting that right?
Absolutely.
You got it right.
Okay, so that's for the line of handbags.
Tell me about the handbags, first of all.
So the handbags I launched three years ago after I was diagnosed with my cancer.
And it starts with five handbags that are named specifically after cancer survivors that have impacted my life significantly.
And since then, we've gotten to a total of 10 handbags, which they all raise money for breast cancer research.
So very excited about that.
A way to connect with the cancer community.
A lot of women feel very alone once they've been diagnosed, so this is definitely a way to feel that connectivity and a sense of belonging.
And so the book and that are coming out, but is that at a different website or will that also be Gwen Marie Collection?
It will be a different website, but I know once it starts next month, it's all going to converge.
So just for right now, it'll be the Gwen Marie Collection.
When we launch next month, it'll be therichsolution.com.
Oh, okay.
So you'll at least link it so people will be able to find it in the future then, too, right?
Absolutely.
Okay, it's a great story, and good job.
You're just rolling along.
So GwenmarieCollection.com.
Yeah.
Thanks so much, Doc.
Appreciate it.
Thanks, Gwen.
Appreciate it.
GwenmarieCollection.com.
We'll tweet out a link, although I think I may have crashed that one.
I think I may have, but we'll get it done.
Just keep going there.
And that's part of the reason I tell you, if you follow me on Twitter at Doc Thompson Show, you'll be able to go back, look through the hashtag Building America, or after back through everything I've tweeted out and see everybody who called in.
All right, back to the phone lines.
We go.
Let's go to California now.
Line number four.
Greg, welcome to the program.
How are you?
Hey, good morning, Doc.
How are you?
Doing well, sir.
What's your business?
We are the Tot to Walk, innovative baby walking aid.
Taught to walk.com.
That's T-O-T, the number two,
W-A-L-K.com.
So taut2walk.com, an innovative baby walking aid.
Explain how this works.
Well, we all remember the position.
We're bent over at the hip, holding our little ones' hands while they learn to take those first steps.
Hours, weeks, and sometimes months of being bent over, straining our backs.
Well, no longer.
Introducing the TottoWalk.
Tot to walk is the first baby walking aid on the market that doesn't have a harness or a strap.
A very sleek design, very simple to use.
Tot to walk is designed to allow the caretaker to steady the toddler while standing comfortably.
No more bending over at the hip.
Child simply grabs the taught to walk by its carefully designed handles and initiates the learning process.
Wow, this is really cool.
I'm at the website right now, and it's one of those people have to go to see it to really understand it.
Once you go there, and Cal's got a little one, we've got a couple.
One will be learning to walk in the next six months or so, and I've got one on the way.
This one, I think the best way to describe this is kind of like a little handlebar for your kids where there's two little handles for them to hold on, and then one handle for you on the other end.
And instead of having to strain over, you just hold it there and they hold on.
And you know, you kind of drag them along, teach them to walk.
Now, did you invent this?
Yes, my wife had suffered from a bad back, Vanessa, and my daughter, Stella.
She just was stubborn, didn't learn the old-fashioned way, didn't push carts or any of the normal things you see with toddlers learning.
And one day, she just picked up a toy that was in a similar shape.
And all of a sudden, my wife's walking comfortably around the house.
And Stella's in tow, just like the picture, just like if you go to our website, you'll see videos.
And we're on Facebook.
We're on Amazon, keyword taught to walk.
and taught to walk.com.
It's just a wonderful thing.
We've been a couple of years in business.
Awesome.
We're in stores coast to coast.
Check us out at Whaley's Pharmacy in Jefferson City, Missouri,
all over the United States.
Interesting.
It's really cool that you developed something new, too.
I mean, you know, a lot of businesses
sell other stuff, whatever, but this is obviously an invention.
So that's really cool.
Did you have to get this patented?
We have patent pending, and we have a trademark the name, obviously.
And yeah, that process of working in the baby industry is interesting.
Just for your listeners that are trying different things, it's very difficult.
There's a lot of difficult things to navigate through, especially the safety testing, which we're all, you know, tested.
It's persistence, isn't it?
It's absolutely persistence.
And it's things like this, these little opportunities that you have to seize and take advantage of.
I called 150 times this morning.
Oh, wow.
Awesome.
Well, Greg, have you tried something like Shark Tank?
You know, like you get in front of those investor guys and try to get some.
Yes.
We were finalists on or semi-finalists for Shark Tank season nine last year.
And
we're still going to work at that.
So, you know, we're wanting to get out there, get our name, taught2walk.com.
So that way people can take a look.
And this is a really helpful tool.
It's awesome.
You're going to be shocked at the response you get from this program, Greg.
It's going to do well for you.
But thank you so much.
I'm going to tweet it out.
It's Tot T-O-T, the number twoandwalk.com.
Go there, check it out because if you, you really got to see it to understand it.
And I think it's going to help a lot of people.
Thank you, Doc.
And we'd like to send you guys one.
I know you guys gave us an address, and we sent you a couple in the mail.
So
I know you got a little one on the way.
So good luck, and we love you.
God bless you all.
God bless.
Thanks, buddy.
Appreciate you.
God bless you as well.
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas.
Tot TOT, the number two, walk.com.
Back in a minute with more on the Glenn Back program.
Glenn back.
Glenn back.
It's Doc Thompson in for Glenn.
Back to the Phones We Go, giving people an opportunity to promote their business in Ohio.
Line number nine, Randy, welcome to the program.
Hi there.
Good morning, Doc.
Tell me about your business.
My business is Keepsake
Solutions.
We help people relive their memories of people that have recorded stuff throughout time,
slides, negatives, photos, old 8mm film.
We restore that, digitize it, and so they can have it for the future.
Oh, that's an awesome thing.
A lot.
I mean, this is one of those, my wife even has, you know, boxes of stuff that we don't know what to do with.
Where are we going to put it?
Exactly.
And with technology changing as fast as it is, you know, most people don't have the EHS players anymore.
And if they do, they don't work.
The old eight millimeter film.
When's the last time you see one of those projectors?
Oh, right.
exactly.
So
do they contact you and then send them to you and you digitize them?
Is that what you do?
Yes, yes.
We put everything on DVD, and then we also put everything on hard drive, flash drives, as an MP4 file that they can play on their computers or Apple TVs or whatever they want and give a copy of it to every member of the family.
Oh, that's really cool.
So then they can go back and get more copies if they want to at some point.
Yeah, exactly.
And it's the most economical way to do it because you don't have to buy DVDs or anything like that.
It's just a digital file.
You're just going to make a copy of it and give it to a family member.
Do you do cassette tapes?
Yeah, we do.
If I give you my old band demos, can you turn them into digital MP3s?
Oh, definitely.
You would not believe how much of that we do on cassette tapes.
My high school buddies would love that.
Reel to reel.
I mean, everything.
All right, Randy, tweeting out a link.
Keepsake network.com.
Keepsake network.com.
Appreciate you calling.
Hopefully, people check it out.
In Pennsylvania now, Ken, welcome to the program.
How are you?
Wonderful, Doc.
Thank you.
Tell me about your business.
Yes, tell me about your business.
Yes, Ken's Lawn and Stump specialized mainly in taking out tree stumps.
And
this year, started taking down small trees as well.
Ken's Lawn and Stump?
Yes.
Okay.
We're in the
central Pennsylvania area.
And you have a Facebook page?
Yes, sir.
It's facebook.com/slash slash Ken's Lawn and Stump.
Ken's Lawn and Stump.
I'm going to make sure I go there, and then I'll tweet that out.
And what area are you at in Pennsylvania?
We're out of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, but I go all over wherever the money takes me.
That's a wise foreign policy, right?
Exactly.
All right, I'm going to tweet out a link to it right now.
Ken's Lawn and Stump.
We'll tweet that out.
It's the Facebook page.
If you find it and you're in need of such services, contact Ken.
He can help you out.
Ken, thanks for calling.
Appreciate it.
If you miss any of these, just go to Twitter.
It's at Doc Thompson Show.
You can see I'm tweeting out a link to it or look up hashtag Building America.
If you don't get your business on today, tweet it out with the hashtag Building America.
Glenn back.
Love, courage,
truth.
Glenn Beck.
Hi there, it's Doc Thompson in for Glenn Beck, and it's Black Friday.
So we decided to just open up the phone lines as we've done in years past and just give people free commercials because we believe in capitalism and freedom and free markets.
We believe in that entrepreneurial spirit that helped drive America.
Before we get back to the phone lines, 888727 Beck and some more businesses, got to take a moment and update some of the things happening and going ons in the news cycle.
Not a lot going on, pretty much a lot of the same stuff.
But one item of note that I got to mention and stress not only how awful it is, but hopefully put some things into perspective.
This morning in Egypt, a gunman broke into a mosque and shot the place up.
235 dead.
Is that right, Cal?
Yeah, 200.
I don't know if it was a single gunman or if it was...
Could be multiple gunmen.
It probably was multiple gunmen.
I think there was bombings as well.
Cal's family is from Egypt.
He was born in Egypt.
He's an American citizen.
And Cal's regularly heard on my morning broadcast on the Blaze Radio Network.
Give me an idea of what's going on in Egypt right now.
So the president is really cracking down.
Yeah, there's a really,
in the Sinai in northern Egypt, there's an Islamic group that is loyal to ISIS.
I forget their name exactly.
I think
they're a bunch of crazy nuts.
Yeah, and they've been set up over there, and he's been running a pretty pretty harsh campaign on them.
The military's involved, and they're just rooting them out and just getting rid of them.
Good.
And I think this is probably in retaliation to that because they've been coming down pretty hard and just kind of
the military goes in and just wipes them out.
235.
How many people were killed recently at the church?
In Texas?
Yeah.
24.
40?
No, about 50.
It was about...
48?
48 is Mars telling me 48.
Yeah, so quite a few.
So this is 235.
The gunmen had set up ambush locations, opened fire on ambulances as they were transporting wounded worshipers, even.
This is in a mosque.
Now, a lot of Christians are going to hear that and go, although they wouldn't wish bad on people, certainly a lot of American Christians,
may have a certain sense of, well, it's over there.
It's Muslims.
They're killing each other.
They're so on and so forth.
These are still human beings.
And although you may not identify with their religion, that's fine.
You have a right to worship and should worship the way you see, you know, the way you see fit.
But these are still human beings.
And most of the people in the Middle East are not terrorists.
They're not killing people, even if they're Muslim.
You may disagree.
I don't even hold debate about the Koran.
But just to say, these are human beings who suffered similarly to the way the Christians were killed at the church in Texas recently.
These are people that they're most vulnerable on a holy day because Friday is
the same as Sunday for Christians.
It's Friday for Muslims.
It's the end of the week gathering for prayer.
So you're at your most vulnerable worshiping and people bust in and shoot the place up.
Yeah, it's a horrible, I mean, cowardly thing to do.
Horrible.
All right.
Let's get back to some phone calls.
Now, let me go to line eight.
ziptext.org.
Al in Michigan, ziptext.org.
Tell me about ziptext.
Well, first of all, hearts and prayers go out to the people in Egypt.
That is um
this is kind of why we started this business.
You know, you got Colin Byn and you got Sandy Hook.
We talk about it, Doc.
We talk about it.
My brother and I, we said we got to do something about it.
We came up with this zip tips.
We've been working on it for probably five years now,
where it's a key fob.
Let's say an example, teachers in a classroom, something goes on, there's a threat, they push a button, within two seconds everybody in this school can be notified through text through email that there's a problem and then they can take a uh the correct course of action so we can probably we can't stop all threats but maybe we can stop a few less body bags and more people more family walking out safe
absolutely it's a great idea I'm going to go ahead and tweet out a link again it's zip text.org and how long ago did you start?
We started working with a company out of California called Iontra.
And they kept telling us, no, we can't do it.
No, we can't do it.
And we started getting,
we started working and said, well, maybe it can work.
And we really got it within the last two, three months.
We got it where we feel comfortable.
We can put it in schools.
Real estate people that go out on showings by themselves, absolutely perfect for them.
Okay, it's ziptext.org.
Al, hang on one second.
I'm going to tweet out a link to it, but I want to put you on hold one second.
Again, it's ziptext.org.
Thanks, buddy.
Appreciate it.
All right, let me go to DM in Des Moines.
How are you, sir?
Very good.
Now, I actually know DM.
DM is somebody who has appeared on my program in the Morning Blaze.
I met DM, was it five years ago?
Four years ago.
Four years ago, when you were just starting off your coffee company, and I love it.
It's the official coffee of the morning blaze.
But give me a quick rundown of how you started.
Regale us with the story of how you decided to start brewing coffee.
Well, several years ago, almost 10 years ago, I was brewing coffee for myself.
I was roasting it out of little air pop popcorn poppers, and it was just kind of a hobby, doing something for fun, able to get good coffee for a cheap price.
And just over five years ago, I lost my job and had spent a few months unemployed.
And we happened to be on a little trip.
I mean, we were doing okay financially, but things were starting to get a little tight.
But we're trying to maintain a normal lifestyle.
We were out west in South Dakota, and our transmission went out on our excursion.
And all of a sudden, reality hit that I needed to do something for myself right now.
And
that was our solution.
was roasting coffee and trying to figure out how we could make it turn it from a hobby into something a lot bigger.
That's awesome.
And you've grown over the years.
It really is amazing coffee.
It's AmericanPride Roasters.com.
And you have a special right now, a Christmas special, because I know you do different flavors.
Yes, for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, we're doing a couple different things.
If you buy two pounds of coffee, we'll give a free bag of the Calvin Coolidge as well as 10% off your entire order.
That is awesome.
And you have to, they actually named one after me,
the Doc Thompson Bacon Blast, which is just really good coffee.
All right.
And the Chris Cruz, too.
Yeah.
And what flavor is that?
That's a mega mocha coconut.
Okay.
I just thought it was like banana leaf or plantain or something like that.
Patchouli.
Coming in 2018.
Patchouli.
Banana leaf and patchouli.
All right.
DM, thanks, buddy.
I appreciate it.
AmericanPride Roasters.com.
Get that deal.
And if you miss any of these, just go to look up the hashtag BuildingAmerica or follow me on Twitter.
It's at Doc Thompson's show.
All right, let me go to line number three now.
Karen in Utah.
Welcome to the program.
Hi there.
Hi, how are you?
Doing well.
What is narrativeatlas.com?
So I personally handmake pocket squares for men's suits in my home studio here in small town, Utah.
I have 81 solid colors and 165 prints to choose from, so pretty much find something that suits every man.
Okay, pocket squares, you said?
Yes, and some bow ties, a few bow ties thrown in there.
Oh, awesome.
So how did you get started?
Okay, well, so my life got a little tricky and I found myself to be a single mom.
And so I'm just trying to do my best to provide what my kids need.
See, that's what I love about it, though.
So many people, you know, are forced because of bad moments in their life or negative things into starting businesses or whatever.
And you're like, I got to come up with some way to take care of the family, right?
Yep.
Well, and I come from a really long line of, you know, creative and artistic people that do that did handwork, you know, my grandma, my mom, all the way along.
So, you know, I've got the skills that I need to do it.
And so pull down out.
And
see what I can.
I see some of them right here.
Bow ties.
You got the pocket squares.
You got a whole collection up here, too.
Lots of different stuff.
And if you notice there,
I've got some PDF sewing patterns that are coming.
I've gone and taken some classes so that I can design those patterns for home sewers so that that'll be coming in the future.
I understand.
Well, hopefully, we are going to get you some business here to help your business grow, get some eyes on your website.
Narrativeatlas.com, right?
Yes, that's it.
NarrativeAtlas.com.
I'm going to tweet out a link to it, include a little picture of that, but hopefully people will go there and help you out and help grow your business, Karen.
Perfect.
Thank you.
Thanks so much.
NarrativeAtlas.com.
It's bow ties, pocket squares, a lot of different cool designs.
So check that out.
All right, let me go to another Utah, Utahan, line number five.
Jared, welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
How are you?
I'm doing great.
Thank you.
Thank you, Doc.
So tell me about your business.
Yeah, so it's dirttodream.com.
And, you know, when my wife and I got married 11 years ago, we set a goal to build a home together.
And it's taken a decade of a lot of hard work.
And we actually recently purchased a dirt lot, and we're in the process of building that dream home.
And even though I own a software company for about eight years, we're doing exactly what you've been talking about, and that's diversifying.
And we decided, hey, let's document this entire process to help others to inspire them to dream big and pursue their dreams.
And
so we're just putting it all out on YouTube, our personal lives with our five kids.
They're ages 9, 8, 6, 4, and 2.
So everything about the build process and we homeschool and running my own business.
We just kind of share it all to hopefully, you know, share some light and uplift others and have some positive entertainment out there.
Okay, at first glance, I'm not sure how water skiing is building a house.
That sounds like a house that I need to build.
You know what?
That's part, Doc.
I'm so glad you mentioned that.
That's part of the dream.
One of our favorite places to be as a family is out on water.
And
the lot that we were able to secure is about three minutes from a lake.
And so that was a big part of the dream was how can we do more of the things we love that's really cool and i see you do have the youtube video up there so if they go to dirtto dream.com does it tell you the story
uh yes it does yeah so that the very next video so you probably saw the intro the very next video is all about our family there's a lot more story behind it sites being built so right now the domain will redirect you to you uh to youtube and you can also just search dirt to dream on youtube to find it that sounds awesome thanks so much jared for sharing it's dirtto dream.com let's go to oh now line number number eight.
Mark, thanks for holding.
You're on the Glenn Beck program.
How are you?
Great, Doc.
Thanks for having me on.
Thanks for joining us today.
Tell me about your business.
Tell me about your adventure.
My business is a film called Abby's List: a Dogumentary.
About a year ago, my dog, Abby, a 16-year-old Whippet, 15 at the time, was really going downhill.
We decided to pack up everything and travel the country doing her bucket list
and decided to shoot some video for friends and and and to post online uh and we had such an enormous response that that has her bucket list has turned into a film
and uh so that little film is now turning into a big film now you've had an amazing run on on just the videos where you were making it right
Four and a half million views in the last three months.
And it's Abby's bucket list?
Is that right?
Yeah, it's Abby's bucket list.
We started out in Northern California so she could pee on one of the tallest trees in the world,
which was pretty remarkable.
One of the proudest moments of my life.
We went to Vegas so she could do room service in a high-roller suite
overlooking the lights of the strip.
Please tell me she was like Rain Man and helping you count cards.
We rode down the escalator together,
dressed the same.
Exactly matching suits.
Yes.
We caddied for a PGA pro, Scott Simpson.
It's just been remarkable.
But the coolest thing about it is we did something for the right reasons, and the world responded.
And, you know, and now that
little film has become a big film.
We have two distribution offers.
We're talking to some real big ones now.
We're hoping to finish at the White House with a meet and greet with the president or the first lady.
Yeah, now, real quick, Chris Cruz told me that you have a request about the president, right?
You're trying to get in touch with the president to see if you can finish up your film there.
Is that right?
Yeah.
Well, and I taught Abby, I know usually it's difficult teaching an old dog new tricks, but I've just recently, at 16, I've just recently taught her to shake.
And I figure, what would be better than having her shake the hand of the most powerful person on the planet?
That's awesome.
So what can people do to help you out?
If anybody has, that's the one thing that we haven't been able to put together yet.
You know, this is a very busy White House, and we haven't been able to get the attention of the president or the president's staff yet.
So if anyone has connections and can connect us to the White House, we'll be driving up the East Coast in the next few weeks.
And so it would be great to stop in.
That's awesome.
Give me, how can people find you?
And maybe they can share the link with the president or anybody else connected with the administration.
Tweet Adam.
You know, he's a big Twitter tweeter.
How can they find you in Abby's bucket list?
Abby's Listmovie.com.
Abby's
List Movie.com.
Yeah, and watch the trailer too.
Even if you can't help us reach the White House, great.
But even if you can't,
watch it, share it.
I think you'll appreciate it.
It's heartwarming, but it's also, you know, fun-in-cheek and fun.
Yeah.
And we're just,
you know, we're blessed to be a part of it and blessed that people are responding in such a huge way.
You know, and if that's not a commercial for the American Dream, I don't know what is.
Abby's ListMovie.com.
Yep.
All right.
I'm going to tweet that out, Mark.
Thanks so much for holding.
Back in a minute with more as we give people some pre-commercials on this Black Friday on the Glenn Beck program.

Nobody will hear that.
Don't worry.
Just edit out.

I'm a little embarrassed, just in push production.
Okay, good.

free shipping.
And I also sell the dryers that
dry the ink
for around yeah, for around $300.
And then I have a complete package for $645.
But I do,
I have a lot of videos on how to build
different stuff that you need for silk screening and how to build your own silk screen shop at home.
I'm on the site right now and I see your mug right there in a couple of videos.
As soon as it pops up.
Yeah, right.
Okay.
Well, that's good.
Yeah, I have over 2 million views on YouTube and over 10,000 subscribers.
And, you know, people call me, even if they don't buy equipment from me.
Um, I help them, you know, they run into trouble, and and um, you're a good resource for them.
Yeah, and I really enjoy helping people in business, and uh, you know, I really appreciate you doing this.
Absolutely,
glad to help.
Uh, it's silkscreennow.com.
Bob, thanks so much for joining us.
SilkscreenNow.com, and I tweeted out a link to it.
Let's go to SlaterNow in Tennessee.
Slater, how are you?
Good, how's it going?
Doing well.
What's your business?
We make military dog tags.
The website is US Military Tags.com.
USmilitaryTags.com.
And how did you get started?
Well, I was in the Air Force during Desert Storm.
We would do these what's called road kits.
And we would make tags for the road kits on a dog tag machine.
I thought,
well, you know, if a guy had one of these on the outside, he could make some money on the side just making tags for people.
I love it.
Love the entrepreneurial spirit.
I'm looking at it now, and they're reasonably priced.
It makes a good gift for people.
So let me tweet out a link.
It's usmilitarytags.com.
USmilitarytags.com.
Slater, thank you so much for your service and thank you so much for joining us today in the Glenn Beck program.
USmilitaryTags.com.
Glenn Back.
You're listening to the Glenn Beck program.
Back to the phones.
We go get as many people as we can, giving them some free airtime, free commercials, the Glenbeck program this Black Friday.
Line number 10 now, Patricia in the Buckeye State.
How are you?
I'm great.
Thank you.
Thanks for taking my call.
Thanks for calling.
Tell me about your business.
Well, I design and make handmade dolls.
And the most popular doll we have selling, I'm happy to say, is a Jesus doll.
We make them in all different sizes.
And it's a family business.
My husband and I also write children's books.
We've been doing this for,
well, since our children were born, and our old son is 34.
Oh, wow, that's quite a while.
How'd you get started?
Well, we always liked kids.
Before we had kids, we kept our nieces and nephews over and we told them stories.
And that's how we started.
And we, at one time, had a big contract with
a plush company that was making our dolls.
That fell through, unfortunately.
And then we stopped.
We homeschooled.
We took care of our aging parents.
And then a few years ago, we decided to get back into it and started
just a
website with
thought we could, you know try to sell it that way directly it's halotoys.com h-a-l-o-toys.com
yes yes
and um
and it's named after our um our our dads harry and lou and um
it's um we all the dolls that we make we do in prayer for the people that um oh that's awesome
and the dolls are great you guys got awesome stuff here these are really cool well thank you all sizes they're they're plush.
They're all handmade.
And they're made in the USA.
So you even do some custom dolls as well for weddings or different things, right?
Yes, weddings.
We just got an order for a doll that a couple recently lost their daughter, and they wanted to
memorialize her in a doll.
So we take faces, photographs, and we try to match
the personality and the look of the person person that we're making a doll for.
Patricia, that's awesome.
I just tweeted out a link to halotoys.com and I wish you the best.
Merry Christmas.
Happy holidays, okay?
Thanks, Doc.
Have a great day.
It's halotoys.com.
Let's go to Indiana now.
Mark, you're on the Glenn Beck program.
Hi, Doc.
Thanks for having me on today.
I appreciate your time.
Thanks for joining us.
Tell me about your business.
My business is called Auto Import Specialist, and I just recently purchased it.
And we specialize in German and Asian used car sales and service here in northern Indiana.
Whereabouts?
What area?
Be a little more specific.
We're in South Bend, about 10 minutes from Notre Dame.
Okay.
I think I found your site.
Is it AISAutoCare.com?
Yeah, that's correct.
That's our website.
And then we also have a Facebook page at facebook.com slash auto import Michiana.
So you have an interesting story in the fact that you bought it, which a lot of people that have called today have started businesses.
So you bought one that already at least somewhat existed?
Yeah, that is correct.
I had been in the car business for almost 25 years now in this area and got an opportunity to purchase this business who had actually been in business for about 16 years.
And I knew the gentleman and was able to purchase it.
And so we have a team of five guys working here with over 70 years of experience between the five of us added together.
That's really cool.
That's nice that you got to that point where you said, okay, I can pull the trigger and do this myself.
But it's an adventure isn't it
it is it's an adventure but it's been a very exciting adventure well hopefully people will visit you in south bend indiana uh you're on state road it looks like auto import specialist it's aisautocare.com and i'll tweet out a link to it mark
awesome thank you very much doctor thanks buddy really appreciate it have a great day it's uh aisautocare.com joey in louisiana thank you so much for calling the glenn back program how are you
i'm fine Doc.
Thank you for the opportunity.
I'm really enjoying the show.
Oh, thank you so much.
That's the reason we're trying to help people out here.
Tell me, you are an author?
Yes, I'm a new Christian author.
It was only published last October of 2016.
That's exciting.
Very exciting, though.
Yes, yes, it is.
Unfortunately, being new, it's hard to get some recognition.
My book is called Dawn of Reason.
The book examines how the fulfillment of biblical prophecy relates to human history by challenging conventional Christian ideology with fresh, innovative, alternative considerations.
The book throws a few unexpected curveballs while it maintains perfect harmony with the scriptural message.
It's written in a friendly narrative style that's easily understood by the average reader.
It offers believers much to consider and presents a wealth of information for the serious Bible student.
I was asked about a website a minute ago.
I'm not sure if it's still up, but it would be at www.outskirtspress.com slash dawn of reason.
If it's still there,
I hope it is.
The book is also available, and more information can be found.
A review and and some other information
at amazon.com yeah let me make sure let me make sure I have your name so we can find it it's Dawn of Reason and then what's your name your author name your your pen name
you're right my pen name is initial J for Joey gotcha
Anthony both
that would be B-O-V as in Victor E.
Yep and I found it I think finding it I found it at Barnes and Noble and Amazon I'm gonna go ahead and tweet out one of those links because I think that's probably the easiest for people to find.
Yeah.
That would be good.
Yeah.
If they do Dawn of Reason and then letter J, Anthony Bove, B-O-V-E,
they're going to find it.
But I wish you the best of luck and hopefully people check this out and hopefully get some eyes on it for you.
It's a long ride, but thank you so much.
I really appreciate it.
Thank you.
You bet.
Thanks so much for calling.
Appreciate it.
Dawn of Reason, J, letter J, Anthony, B-O-V-E.
It's Dawn of Reason, a triple feature recognizing fulfillment of prophecy and harmony with human history.
I'll tweet out a link to that as well.
Let's go to New York now.
Victor, how are you?
I'm awesome.
Tell me about your business.
What we do is we do custom Lego minifigures and parts.
Wait, I'm sorry.
Wait a minute.
Your phone cut out there just a bit.
Give me that again.
But we customize Lego minifigures.
Oh, okay.
Cool.
So we buy Lego in the aftermarket, but it's very Lego.
We erase it, and then I print my own designs on them.
And we focus on like pop culture movies, video games.
Our top seller right now is Jesus Christ Minifigure.
Oh, that's cool.
What's your website so we can look it up?
EclipseGraphics.com.
Eclipse, E-C-L-I-T-S-E.
And graphics is spelled G-R-A-S as in Frank, F as in X-ray.com.
Okay, make sure I find it here.
EclipseGraphics.com.
Yes.
EclipseGraphics.com.
Okay.
And let me go ahead and tweet out a link to that as well.
When did you and how did you get started?
Well, about seven years ago, my wife and I went on the honeymoon.
I rediscovered my love for Lego back then with my son.
And I started doing some research trying to find some Lego online use for him because he was only about seven years old and I didn't want to spend a whole lot on.
And I discovered...
other people doing custom Lego minifigures, but the issue with their stuff was it was very fragile.
They were just for display, so you would collect these novelty items, just display it.
And I couldn't spend $65 on a figure for my son just to watch it, you know, on a shelf.
And as a graphic designer, I thought, well, I could learn how to do this, do it better, and make sure that our quality and durability is a lot better so that the kids can actually play with it.
And since then, we've actually helped drive the market price down on these items where it's more competitive and people can actually get their hands on it.
And I'm looking here at the website.
It's at eclipsebricks.com also works, correct?
Yes, it does.
Yeah, so it's eclipsebricks.com.
And then we're looking at it.
It looks pretty awesome.
Yeah, because I was having trouble finding it whatever.
Explain what you're seeing, Chris.
So it's basically Little Legos, and he really does a good job.
Of course, Cal clicked on the horror.
There we go.
Now I can see it.
So it looks pretty cool.
Oh, these are pretty awesome.
This is like from my son.
This is perfect birthday gift.
Yeah, and they're not expensive either.
Not at all.
Thank you yeah that's awesome
we also have a uh i better uh create a coupon code for your listeners today uh they can get 20 off on anything store-wide and the coupon code is uh blaze 20 the number 20 b-l-a-z-e and then the number 20 and it's eclipse i'm gonna give the bricks one it's easier eclipsebricks.com eclipsebricks.com and i'll tweet out a link to that victor okay
Yeah, and everything's done here in the USA.
Actually, I do it for my home with my wife.
We homeschool.
It's a family-run business.
Awesome.
My oldest son, you know, every once in a while when he needs money, he'll come down and help.
You know, he'll work.
I understand.
At least he's involved, right?
Yes, yes.
All right, Victor.
Thanks so much, buddy.
Appreciate it.
EclipseBricks.com, promo code BLAAZE, B-L-A-Z-E, and then the number 20.
And that'll give you a discount as well.
Let me get a quick break.
We'll come back and get some more calls as we give people some free publicity on this Black Friday and the Glenn Beck program.
Glenn back
Glenn back.
Giving people some free commercials on Black Friday.
Let's go to line number nine now.
Is it Tan
in Georgia?
Tan.
Hello, going once.
Are you there?
Nope.
All right.
It was firesideog.com, A-U-G.
I think it's a non-profit group, but I'll tweet out a link to it anyways.
Let's go now to Jake in Ohio, line number four.
Thanks for calling the Glenn Beck program.
How are you, Jake?
Hello, Jake.
This has got to be us.
Is this a problem?
Is this us?
Are we having some sort of technical issue?
Worked before.
Try the gear.
Jake, are you there?
Are you there, Jake?
Seems as if some Four Soto phone issue all of a sudden.
Are we there, Jake?
Jake in Ohio.
There we go.
Are you there?
Wow.
We went through all the calls, Cal.
Did something change?
We couldn't have had two in a row.
Okay, leave Jake at home.
Let me go back to the, let's go to Brent and PA.
Let's try to see if another one works.
Maybe the two people have dropped.
That seems unlikely.
But Brent, how are you?
Yeah, that's got to be our phones.
All right, put Brent back on hold and we'll get through.
All right, in the meantime, let me tell you, if you haven't had an opportunity, please go to...
Twitter and follow at Doc Thompson Show.
All of the people we've had on today have retweeted or tweeted about them, tweeted a link to their company.
Also with the hashtag Building America.
If you click on Building America, you'll also get get an opportunity to just go through and cipher and decipher everything that everybody else has tweeted out.
If for some reason you need to get on the phones or our phones have died like they obviously had while we're trying to get them back up, you can also use Building America and tweet it out.
And hopefully everybody else will see that and
check out the products and services offered there.
In the meantime,
if you would like to be on one of our Building America segments for our morning broadcast, you can tweet buildingamerica at theblaze.com.
Buildingamerica at theblaze.com.
We'll have somebody go through, monitor it, go through all the emails.
It may take a while, likely we're going to get quite a few, but we'll have you on at some point on our morning broadcast and feature you and give you a little bit more time even.
We do it a couple times a week, at least once a week, and we just have people on for 10 minutes or so to talk about their business.
And the idea is pretty simple.
It's helping people promote their business at a time when it's so difficult to do because we believe in capitalism and entrepreneurship and also
maybe inspire people along the way.
And you get to hear about some great products and services.
That's the key.
Products and services, inspiring people,
and also helping promote.
We know that
if we're going to change things,
we have to do it ourselves.
If we are going to change the direction that America has been heading and all the things that we are so frustrated about on a daily basis, we're going to have to roll up our sleeves and do it ourselves.
It's not going to be those people in D.C.
And a lot of people have worked for years trying to get some of those people kicked out,
some change there.
But as it stands, it's going to have to be done elsewhere as well.
We're going to have to build up our resources, our supplies, our businesses individually.
And we do that by helping each other as well.
That's going to have to be the key to it.
All right, we're going to get the phones up.
If for some reason we don't, please email us because I don't think we're likely going to have have time to get to the past the last couple of that we're waiting.
We'll definitely put you on.
Just put something bold in the heading.
And we have a list of a couple of people that we wanted up there.
I tweeted out a couple of them, even though we didn't get to them, and we'll make sure to help promote.
My apologies.
It was just one of those weird tech things right at the end that it died.
But at least we got as many on as we could.
I also tweeted out a link to another business that I'd like to share.
Yeah, what's that, Cal?
What do you
what?
I don't see anybody else on the line.
No, no, no.
It's just one I tweeted out there.
What was the tweet?
I don't have a tweet.
It's my wife's business.
Oh, I see what you're doing.
I'm not going to mention it.
Name of you the promotion.
I'm just going to say it's out there somewhere.
It's out there somewhere.
Because I didn't feel bad that other people didn't get through.
So I'm just going to go ahead and make sure it's out there.
Is this like my wife's coloring books?
No wife.
Because your wife bought my wife made.
So there's a little different there.
Your wife is
a craftsperson.
Now, at some point, we'll end up talking about it on our radio broadcast in the morning.
At some point, you got to put your money where your mouth is, right?
You know, that's where we are.
It's definitely
I do some of my own entrepreneurial stuff on the side, trying to make some extra money.
Build some apps and different things.
Yeah, you got to do it.
You know, you got to take that risk.
And
it's that time where
you really got to try.
And by the way, did you see we were talking about Bitcoin yesterday?
Bitcoin is just under 8,200.
Ethereum, one of the other three big ones, E-T-H-E-R-E-U-M, is at 460.
It was under 300 a week, a couple weeks ago.
Wow.
It's grown 4,000%
since last year.
It's incredible.
All right.
Join us Monday morning on the Blaze Radio Network, theblazeradio.com.
Have yourself a great weekend and enjoy yourself.
Stock Thompson on the Glenn Beck program.
Glenn back.
