Speaker 1 I believe that hydrogen tablets will be as common as a multivitamin in five years. Mark my words.

Speaker 1 The reason why I use H2TABS is because it is an elemental magnesium tablet and you get exactly 12 parts per million hydrogen gas every single time.

Speaker 1 Here's what's happening when you're drinking hydrogen gas. We all know about oxidation and that's why we take antioxidants.

Speaker 1 There are all these different things that cause oxidative damage and antioxidants lower these things, which we would think think is a good thing.

Speaker 1 But there is something in the human body called redox homeostasis. This means certain amount of oxidation, a certain amount of reduction.
So these are in balance. Too much inflammation is bad.

Speaker 1 Some inflammation is very good. Hydrogen gas.
is a selective antioxidant. It will actually bring these into balance, what we call homeostasis, which no other antioxidant does.

Speaker 1 Hydrogen, water, and hydrogen tablets will be used to deliver medications. It will be used to mitigate injury and to restore human beings back to redox homeostasis.

Speaker 1 Here's what's so fascinating about hydrogen.

Speaker 1 So I want to touch again on hydrogen gas and why I am so pumped up about hydrogen tablets. I used to be a big fan of hydrogen water bottles.

Speaker 1 I discovered that the majority of these bottles, the seals will break down over a period of time and they will create less and less and less hydrogen gas. So less parts per million of hydrogen gas.

Speaker 1 They're also very expensive and they're difficult to travel with.

Speaker 1 So the reason why I use H2 tabs is because it is an elemental magnesium tablet and you get exactly 12 parts per million hydrogen gas every single time.

Speaker 1 There is no water bottle on the market that has a membrane that can make 12 part per million hydrogen gas. Full stop.

Speaker 1 And so, what's really interesting about hydrogen gas, and I haven't really touched on this, is that hydrogen gas is a selective antioxidant.

Speaker 1 So, on the periodic table, you have hydrogen, which is a hydrogen ion, the smallest, lightest element in the universe. When you take two hydrogen ions and put them together, you have H2.

Speaker 1 So, you have hydrogen gas. That's what we're talking about.
When you take that elemental magnesium tablet, that H2 tab, and you drop that into a glass of water.

Speaker 1 By the way, these are less than $1 a day. Okay, that's why I'm in love with these things.
They're super easy to travel with and they have a long, long shelf life.

Speaker 1 When you take that H2 tab and you drop it into a glass of water and it starts to efferves

Speaker 1 into little hydrogen gas bubbles, you will notice that it's very difficult to see through that glass. You'll also notice that the longer the time goes on, the bigger the bubbles become.

Speaker 1 That's because there are a lot of nano bubbles in there that you can't even see, and they're essentially coalescing and forming larger and larger bubbles and then leaving the glass.

Speaker 1 This is why I say drop that tablet into the water, wait about 50 seconds to a minute until this glass is full. of hydrogen gas and then whack the whole glass back.

Speaker 1 Here's what's happening when you're drinking hydrogen gas and here's what's so fascinating about hydrogen. You know, we all know about oxidation, and that's why we take antioxidants.

Speaker 1 So there are lots of oxidative-free radicals. There are things like hydrogen peroxide,

Speaker 1 superoxide, a hydroxyl-free radical. There is an oxygen singlet.
There are all these different things that oxidize and cause oxidative damage.

Speaker 1 And antioxidants lower these things, which we would think is a good thing. But we also have what's called redox reactions.
So some inflammation is good.

Speaker 1 For example, superoxide is good in the body until there's too much. Hydrogen peroxide is good in the body until there's too much.
Oxygen is, of course, great in the body until there's too much.

Speaker 1 You know, one of the reasons why people that live at altitude have a tendency to have longer lifespans is because the amount of oxygen coming into the system and the amount of oxygen being used is equal.

Speaker 1 When you have excess oxygen, you have oxidation. So, we don't actually just want to, well, the only one we want to take to zero is the hydroxyl-free radical.

Speaker 1 This has no known positive effects in the body. But there is something in the human body called redox homeostasis.
This means certain amount of oxidation, a certain amount of reduction.

Speaker 1 So, these are in balance. Too much inflammation is bad.
Some inflammation is very good. So, some hydrogen peroxide is good, too much is bad.
Some superoxide is good, too much is bad.

Speaker 1 So some oxygen is good, too much is bad. Hydrogen gas is a selective antioxidant.
It is a phenomenal molecule because it can actually bring up the redox reaction or lower the redox reaction.

Speaker 1 It will actually bring these into balance what we call homeostasis, which no other antioxidant does. Vitamin C doesn't do that.
Glutathione doesn't do that. Catalase doesn't do that.

Speaker 1 None of the antioxidants stop when they are back in balance. They just keep going.

Speaker 1 We learned this when we looked at the theory of vitamin C and cancer, and taking tons of vitamin C would stop or prevent cancer.

Speaker 1 Now, vitamin C can be good during cancer treatments, but too much drives the oxidative stress too low.

Speaker 1 So if you go into a cell and you find the nucleus of the cell, inside the nucleus of the cell is the DNA. And the DNA is the boss.
The DNA is running the show. It has two main roles.

Speaker 1 One is called replication, making an exact copy of itself. The other one is called transcription.
It gives orders to the cell. It actually tells the cell what to do.

Speaker 1 So there is a pathway into the DNA called the NRF2 pathway. And what this pathway does, and this is exactly the pathway that hydrogen gas affects.

Speaker 1 It actually uses your cell, your DNA, to regulate these things into balance rather than just push straight down on them and drive them into submission.

Speaker 1 So when you use the DNA and the NRF2 pathway, you make superoxide dismutase. You can neutralize an oxygen singlet.
You can neutralize a hydroxyl-free radical.

Speaker 1 But when these different oxidative species, you also make glutathione.

Speaker 1 Yes, we make glutathione in the body. The liver makes it.
It's the most prevalent antioxidant in the human body. It resides inside of every living cell in our body.

Speaker 1 Every single cell in your body contains glutathione, and the NRF2 pathway can actually regulate the production of glutathione. It regulates the production of something called catalase.

Speaker 1 Catalase.

Speaker 1 So for the first time, we're starting to discover that this magical molecule can actually put you into balance, homeostasis, redox homeostasis. We don't want too many antioxidants.

Speaker 1 We want oxidative balance. You can actually, in the same cell, have too

Speaker 1 much oxidation and too little oxidation. If you actually looked at a cell, sort of a bilayer here, this is called a phospholipid bilayer.

Speaker 1 It's sort of a layer of protection around the cell. There are these little ion channels.
So things are moving in, things are moving out of the cell.

Speaker 1 We generally want to balance between the oxidation on both sides of the cell membrane. This is what hydrogen gas does.
No other antioxidant does that.

Speaker 1 And it is the smallest, lightest element in the universe. 10% of your body weight is hydrogen.
I believe that hydrogen tablets will be as common as a multivitamin in five years. Mark my words.

Speaker 1 Hydrogen. water and hydrogen tablets will be used to deliver medications.
It will be used to deliver supplements.

Speaker 1 It will be used to help repair the endothelium, to make us more sensitive to secreting GLP-1s.

Speaker 1 It will be used to mitigate injury, concussive injuries, and to restore human beings back to redox homeostasis. So, if you are not taking hydrogen tablets, now's the time to start.
