If you've ever wanted to see us live, well, we're heading back to London.
That's right.
Again, we will be performing June 22nd at the Big Fat Festival at the Big Belly Comedy Club in London.
So get your tickets now.
They'll be in the show notes.
You can come see us, like 20 other acts, including friends of the show that we have worked with before.
Get your tickets now, and we hope to see you there.
But you know, we got
what is effectively a straight-up Kamehameha that kills the Dark Gundam.
And then we get the group of friends standing off in the distance, shaking and quivering, going, Oh, I really want to take part in this battle as the two people who can actually fight do everything like 20 miles away.
That is like such a trope in DBZ.
And we finally really get that here.
I mean, the tournament arc doesn't count because, like, by definition of the tournament arc, nobody else can get involved.
But this one is, it's a fight to the death for the, the, the, the survival of the human race and earth and all the neocomedies.
I'm just like, let's all stand here and watch.
Cool.
We've done it, boys.
We've done everything we can.
Argo Gulski likes to watch.
I mean, that might be true.
I don't know what him and Tasha are into.
The battle cockholdery.
The Gundam comes with a cuck chair in the corner.
Drone pilot.
A really, really big cuck chair for a Gundam to sit in.
Drone pilots are the cockholes of warfare.
I'm not going to disagree with you there.
Oh, and Argo does get unarrested or whatever the fuck is going on here.
Natasha just takes his handcuffs off, which were never really on in the first place, and we're just like bracelets.
And he's suddenly free because now the power of friendship now involves Natasha.
Most importantly, Joe, do you know who shows up?
His homies hit me with the drop.
What is the power of friendship if not homies?
Exactly.
You know, I do like occasionally I'll see a comment online, like, why does why do all the fans of the show keep talking about Juggalos?
But yeah, so Master Asia's been defeated.
There's a nice tender moment between Domon and Master Asia.
And then there's like a
celebration of Domon is the champion of the Gundam championship.
And
then Japan takes the Dark gundam major ulbe plans to use the dark gundam and kidnaps rain and shoves her in it then fucking yeah so the dark gundams coming back i did find an interview involving inigawa where he was talking about why rain need to be shoved into the dark gundam okay because you know plot wise it really doesn't make any sense but it's because he could not comprehend a robot functioning independent of a human being sitting inside of it.
Also, there is a weird bit in this where it's like, Ube is like, oh, to realize the true potential of the devil Gundam, we need to put a woman in it because a woman can reproduce life.
So it's reproducing the life of the devil Gundam.
I'm like, there's some weird sexual politics in this show, man.
I mean, and he's like rubbing on Rain, who has been turned seemingly steel or whatever.
at that point.
Yeah, it's like a Star Wars carbonite thing.
Yeah, yeah.
There's a lot of weird shit going on here.
I mean, like, Master Age is dead, and that leaves his horse to grief for him.
Yep.
Living the Japanese nationalist dream of
killing anyone who represents Hong Kong.
God.
I was about to say
when I was writing my notes for these episodes, when Domodo wins.
And that means that the dictatorship of space falls in Neo-Japan.
I was like, oh, wow, nothing bad could possibly happen with Japan being in charge of the entire world, which seemingly mostly involves other Asian countries.
That one white guy who supports Tottenham in London, who is like a Japanese nationalist, it's his wet dream.
I'm here to support Neo Hirohito.
That is a real person.
You know, I've discovered so many people over the course of making this show with you.
that I wish I never would have discovered.
I mean, to be fair, the Japanese nationalist Tottenham supporter White Guy from London definitely has been in your mentions before.
That is probably true, and I assume it involved the Nanking series.
More than likely.
We're here at the tail end of the show, right?
And we're suddenly getting a whole lot of plot development in a way that really was not handled well.
For example, Walube,
the Metal Face man who suddenly becomes the dictator of Neo Japan, he has like 10 10 lines in the entire show up until this point.
And now suddenly he is the big bad.
And he has fused the Dark Gundam with Neo-Japan as a colony.
This is not really explained very well because he puts out like an order saying everybody needs to go back to their home because they're going to war.
The first thing he does when he takes over as dictator of space or prime minister of space, whatever, is he outlaws the Gundam competition for, you know, don't worry, we don't even need them anymore.
Japan will simply be in charge forever.
This leads like Neo-America to deploy their Statue of Liberty-based weapon of mass destruction, which is a laser coming from the torch.
It does absolutely nothing.
And then Japan nukes America.
Real solid Uno reverse card there.
But
from there, the Dark Gundam becomes one with the colony,
Yeah.
Which now means Domon and the Shuffle Lions and all of the other Gundam pilots we have been introduced to so far over the show are now fighting and trying to kill Neo Japan.
Yeah, I think.
Because Neo Japan is the Dark Gundam.
I was kind of watching it and I was like...
this kind of reminds me of a little bit like how the tyrannids work in 40k is like oh just like kind of any sort of i suppose it's a bit different but like any sort of like biomaterial or metal or whatever it can fuse itself to and use for mass.
But I mean, we do kind of get that because it deploys those tentacles to start sucking some, I assume, Mako energy from Earth.
I don't fucking know.
And all the other Gundam pilots have to start fighting the tentacle monster, which I assume is the fate of any anime character at one point or another.
Yeah.
And, you know,
Domon isn't sure what to do.
Rain has told him to leave him, to leave her alone, never speak to him again, but now he has to go rescue her.
So Domon has to like communicate with the rest of the shuffle lions via a fishing boat from space.
Judy threatens to put Rain in his harem if Domon doesn't rescue her, which is a really weird thing to say.
Yeah.
So we got Tyranid Gundam, Hive Mind Gundam, whatever, Tentacle Monster Gundam.
And then we get what amounts to be a highlight show of all of the other Gundams that have been introduced being deployed back into combat to fight dark Neo-Japan Gundam.
You've got Nepal Gundam.
You've got the Mermaid Gundam is Denmark, isn't it?
It deploys like all the
other mermaids, which includes a lobster Gundam, which I wish had gotten more screen time.
And then we see Neo the Netherlands just has a fleet of nethergundom windmills.
Yeah, they just like flitter off like butterflies.
Like they're, it was just like a field of windmills, and then they're like, ah, we must deploy now.
And they just shoot directly up into the sky.
Yeah.
All of whom are immediately laid to waste.
I mean, if you have a wood and wind-powered galactic war robot, you're probably not fielding the best military technology.
Yeah.
And then what we have is the Shuffle Alliance and Domon go into
japan's space station neo colony yeah they have to go into the dark gundam like into its to beat it up on the inside yeah also known as what everybody on xbox live said they did to my mother
you have they eventually find ube although i have a question about why do
gundams need to take an elevator Because they take an elevator once they're like, you're literally flying like 30 seconds before.
It's like, surely this is a bit redundant.
If it was a video game, I would say it's like a loading screen, but I'm not really sure how it works in a fucking TV show.
Yeah, there's a lot of things that really don't make a lot of sense in this whole thing.
Like, for example, why is the Dark Gundam seemingly made out of a series of easily navigated corridors?
Why is this inside hallways?
A detail we also missed was Domon has to chase the Devil Gundam into space, but the lander gets destroyed by Mr.
Wong.
So Fusaki is a Fu Saiki.
The horse shows up and he rides him into space.
The horse shows up.
Yep.
Yep.
And the Funsaki jumps into his horse, Gundam, and now he is Domon's horse.
Yes.
And this is after we get a small scene of the horse just crying next to Dead Master Haitian.
So horses can feel grieved now.
And like visibly cry.
yes,
yeah.
The horse has become a Ronin.
It must fucking wander the countryside looking for it, you know, it's masterless going around seeking Domon out for vengeance.
That would have been a much cooler thing than just becoming best friends with the dude who killed your father
rider thing, whatever the fuck.
I don't know where Master Asia falls into the horse family tree.
