Hey everybody, it's Alden Ford here.

And it's Seth Lind here.

And we're here with a couple of announcements.

That's right.

Hey, guys, Mushan's here, too.

I'm out on the line.

What?

Wait, the line?

Yeah.

What line?

Putting in some hard work and sweat.

Picketing.

Screw the fat cats at the studios.

We're out on the line today.

Honk for me.

Honk.

Oh, the greatest strength.

You're on the picket line right now, Mushan?

Yeah.

Thank you.

That's right.

Oh, I hear some honking.

Yes, gives me power.

It should be mentioned, though, to everyone listening.

Mujan is actually on a picket line for the writer's strike right now.

That's true.

That's not a bit.

And it's very exciting.

Good for you.

We're rooting for you.

Good luck.

Stick it to them.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Proud member of the WJ.

SAG Afra.

And Double J.

Double J.

Did you just say the Double J Sag Afra?

Wait, you might be in your own separate strike.

Well, you know, Mujan, I'm so glad you called in because I wouldn't want you to miss our special announcement to promote the Shrimp Lovers Variety Hour, the live variety show we're doing in New York next Thursday, June 8th.

You can attend in New York, but also from anywhere via live stream.

Yep, I'll be there.

Oh, good.

And I won't be ticketing, but I'll be actually performing.

Oh, cool.

That's even better.

Sorry, guys.

No, that's okay.

But it's true.

By popular demand, aka we wanted to do it again.

We're doing another first.

It's popular amongst the seven of us, so we're doing it.

This is a Zix adjacent show.

The cast of Zix and special guests who have appeared on Zix, all performing as ourselves in a variety improv stand-up music show.

Yeah, but maybe a little Zixie.

The first one.

It gets a little Zixie.

A little bit of Zix in there.

Yeah, we love performing with each other, and we have some really fun guests.

We have Justin Tyler, older, Elise Morales, who who played dame wiggles gonzalez kevin kevin the blob we have yoni who played penny gorneau we got natasha van blott played back up becca doing stand-up and we also have the incredible jordan carlos coming back he's also going to be doing some stand-up so it's just a joy of a show the tickets are at mission to zix.space or caveat.nyc yeah if you are not dot nyc yourself you may uh purchase a ticket to live stream and watch it on the internet and you know what why wait for next Thursday?

Let's give our listeners a little taste of our first Shrimp Lovers Variety Hour because we just happen to have a clip.

Okay.

Mujah, just for old time's sake, can you give us the Bargie roll the clip?

Excuse me, hold on.

I have to get to character.

Oh, good, good.

And see a clip.

Yeah.

Oh, wow.

Ah, ah, it hurts.

It hurts.

I know we promised that we would do no Zix-related content tonight, but we did manage to secure a very special guest direct from the Zig Squadron.

And he's agreed to come on stage and perform

some of his brand new original songs.

We get the impression he may have just written them or maybe he hasn't written them at all, but he's agreed to come and do a concert.

And this is a guy who sells out like...

Five-digit, six-digit arenas.

Huge.

Super famous.

I'm not familiar with him.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to Stage the Galactic Pop Star Peeny Gorno.

Ladies and gentlemen.

What's going on, New York City?

Who hasn't listened to the podcast?

My name is Peeney Gorno.

I am a very popular pop star.

I float between British accents, and I got a fin for a mohawk.

And that's all you need to know.

Oi!

Music is a beautiful thing.

If you love music, scream, yes, yes, yes.

It heals communities.

But yeah, oi, I'm Petey Gorno, and I got some new songs I want to sing.

I got me, DJ here.

DJ Jerry.

Now, now this is the thing about Pinni Gorno.

Now,

music in space is a little different than music here on Earth, right?

And I wanted to invite you all into my creative process, and you and I are going to make music together.

Oi.

Oh, God.

Good.

Oi.

Yes, yes, yes.

Oi.

So, so, in my creative process of making music, I say to myself,

if I put the word space

in front of the word, how does that change

the word?

And that's how I kind of start my creative process.

For example,

give me a word, any word.

Space truck.

Take out the word space.

Okay, truck.

So we all know a truck, but a space truck?

I imagine

it's got more lasers than a normal truck.

It's floating

and a song about a space truck would go something

like this

There's a space truck driver working nine to five space truck

He takes a space shower at a gas station, space truck.

And kind of like that, it's just like...

And I know what you're thinking.

It's like a space gas station must be like, you know, more colorful, floating a little bit.

What's a word?

Any word?

Corn.

Now we all know corn.

It's corn,

knobs, it's got the juice.

But space corn

hit it

Space Corner

Space Corn, you can make so many things.

So something like that, because it's like

when you say so many things, you're thinking of what?

It's truly, it's truly art.

And I think we have time for one more.

So anybody in the back row, give me a word of anything at all.

What was that?

Upholstery.

We all know what upholstery is, right?

It's the thing that puts couches together?

Cushions?

It's the exterior of the exterior.

But what would

space upholstery sound like?

Hit it.

The exterior.

The exterior of this space couch

is made of metal.

Okay.

Well, thank you so much.

I am Peeny Corno.

Space thank you.

Yodi La Dan.

Peeny Gorno, ladies and gentlemen.

Wow.

What a delight.

And that is the type of thing that you could see along with lots of non-zix things at our next Shrimp Lovers Variety Hour next Thursday, June 8th, in New York City or anywhere in the world on the internet live.

Tickets at missiontozix.space or caveat.nyc.

It's going to be great.

See you there.
