92%ers we are back with another episode of New Heights presented by Hershey’s. Shop Reese's Chocolate Lava Big Cup now at a store near you.

We are getting ready for Championship Sunday but first Jason and Travis share their thoughts on the College Football Playoffs, the great TikTok blackout of 2025, and what rules changes Jason was willing to pitch Roger Goodell.

We also have a lot of football to talk about starting with Travis’ thoughts on the Chiefs advancing to their 7th straight AFC title game, his mentality when it comes time for the playoffs, and Jason’s candid opinions about the ongoing referee debate surrounding the Chiefs.

There’s also a breakdown of the rest of the divisional round with the Saquon running wild in Snow Bowl II, Jayden Daniel’s huge upset over the Lions, and Lamar Jackson coming up short against the Bills.

Also, find out which member of the New Heights team has a hobby horser in the family and just how long it took us to name Travis’ playoff beard.

Speaker 7 Did you guys survive the great TikTok blackout of 2025?

Speaker 11 That didn't affect me one bit.

Speaker 7 Didn't even know it happened. What app being banned would actually ruin your life?

Speaker 13 i'd probably say like youtube or spotify or wondry plus or wherever you get your podcasts that would be a big bomb for us

Speaker 15 that would mean i'm out of a job

Speaker 6 welcome back to new heights ladies and gentlemen a wondry show produced by wave sports and entertainment and brought to you by reese's new chocolate lava big cups that's right oh yeah god damn those things are good you had some yeah I did.

Speaker 20 I mean, they're enormous.

Speaker 7 They're a little thicker, kind of like the specialty Reese cups, which I like. Personally, the pumpkin Reese during Halloween is my favorite Reese.

Speaker 7 Reese's. But the Lava, what's nice about the lava cup? What's that? The lava isn't like a flowy lava.
It's like a gooey lava.

Speaker 7 And there's a nice little texture on the bottom that I kind of enjoy so far with the chocolate lava big cups. There's like a little gooeyness to it that pairs well.

Speaker 21 Well, we're your host. I'm Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 22 This is my big brother Jason Kelsey.

Speaker 25 Subscribe on YouTube, Wondry Plus, wherever you get your podcast and follow the show on all social media at New Heights Show with 1S.

Speaker 10 Jason, tell the motherfucking people what we got coming up.

Speaker 7 Oh boy, we had a great week of football that we're going to dive into. That's right.
Chiefs advance to the seventh straight AFC title game. That's fucking crazy.
I mean, that is fucking insane.

Speaker 7 God, you guys are good. All right.
Eagles. dashing through the snow in a one sequento way over the rams we go

Speaker 10 all the way.

Speaker 10 We're out of Christmas.

Speaker 26 We're out of Christmas. I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 Eagles dashing through the snow against the Rams. We'll provide a bunch of championship Sunday discussions and more.
And as always, though, we're going to get a little bit to that new news.

Speaker 10 New news.

Speaker 7 New news is brought to you by American Express. Yeah, we got to get into the college football championship that happened this past Monday.
Ohio State Buckeyes.

Speaker 7 That's right.

Speaker 7 National championship back in the Buckeye State as they are the winners of the 12-team college football playoff. Was the 12-team format a success? Did it go too long?

Speaker 7 I think both of those can have different answers. Did it go too long?

Speaker 10 Yes. Yes.

Speaker 7 It went too long to me.

Speaker 7 But I'm also,

Speaker 7 I just don't like the, I don't like the playoff thing being that long for college. I don't know why.
Maybe I'll get used to it.

Speaker 7 But it was very hard to stay engaged through the whole college football playoff.

Speaker 22 Just go six teams.

Speaker 7 But here's the problem. Both of the the teams that won it two buys, both of the teams that won it weren't in the top six, right?

Speaker 7 Both of the teams that were in the championship were what, seven and eight, right?

Speaker 27 Seven and eight, eight and seven.

Speaker 28 All right,

Speaker 29 hey.

Speaker 7 So, I mean, if it's a success to figure out who the best team is in football, then I think it worked because it allowed all of the big teams to compete in it.

Speaker 10 But

Speaker 7 that said, I don't like it still, even though

Speaker 19 we're just old school kind of guys.

Speaker 10 Probably it.

Speaker 31 We just like shit how it used to be.

Speaker 28 And I don't know.

Speaker 29 I'm kind of with you.

Speaker 32 But at the same time, I did enjoy all these college football games.

Speaker 35 I did enjoy watching meaningful football being played and kids out here, you know, fighting for their team to go a step further in the playoffs, be crowned champions.

Speaker 27 I did enjoy it.

Speaker 7 I will say, I can't remember a less exciting national championship, though. I mean, just a complete ass kicking.

Speaker 19 You hate to see it you hate to see it i mean

Speaker 32 especially between like literally the battle of cleveland in my book i mean you when you grow up in cleveland ohio you either love notre dame or ohio state or both no doubt it was a funny uh feeling at least going into it for me um on top of that freeman being an ex-Ohio state buckeye yep not ex-cincinnati bearcat coach right yeah yeah so he was uh he was there when uh since he went to the uh the college football playoffs uh themselves.

Speaker 7 You know, Ryan Day was with me in Philadelphia for one of Chip Kelly's seasons, and now Chip Kelly is the OC for Ryan Day at Ohio State.

Speaker 36 Did not know that.

Speaker 10 Wow. So Chip Kelly

Speaker 7 got a national championship.

Speaker 39 That's right. Nice.
He went to the...

Speaker 10 I was at the...

Speaker 28 Damn, I didn't even realize.

Speaker 27 This is why I got to watch more TV.

Speaker 21 Well, shout out to Chip Kelly getting himself a ring.

Speaker 3 And shout out to Ohio State Buckeyes, man.

Speaker 40 I got a bunch of friends that were super stoked that Ohio State went for the field goal at the end to make sure they covered the spread.

Speaker 10 And

Speaker 10 something that the Chiefs did not elect to do in the game against the Houston Texans this past week.

Speaker 7 Dude, that is always, that is one of the things, man, with the sports gambling that

Speaker 7 these end-of-game scenarios where it's the right thing to do.

Speaker 24 That's so crazy.

Speaker 31 We had a legit bad beat.

Speaker 44 Like SVP and Stanford Steve always love to do those bad beats, man. That is as bad of a beat as you can think of.

Speaker 45 A safety with 40 seconds left in the game

Speaker 10 just

Speaker 23 to go to the other side of the spread.

Speaker 7 Dude.

Speaker 13 Hilarious.

Speaker 7 I had

Speaker 7 Big Wit in the suite for the Eagles versus Packers. And when Saquon slid and missed his bet, he would have gone over or whatever.
I don't even know what 50% of it. Was it?

Speaker 46 Yeah, whatever Marlay or whatever it was.

Speaker 7 But it just like, you could see it just like, just crushing.

Speaker 7 And it's so sick how Vegas always knows.

Speaker 38 They always know it's right.

Speaker 21 It's going to be this way or that way at the end.

Speaker 17 Ohio State goes up three fucking touchdowns or whatever it was.

Speaker 20 And all of a sudden it's right at the end of the game.

Speaker 3 It's right at eight to like 10 points.

Speaker 41 Are you kidding me?

Speaker 39 It's right in between those two numbers.

Speaker 10 Either way.

Speaker 35 It's absolutely hysterical.

Speaker 7 The NFL is scripted. You know that.

Speaker 27 Well, that's why you got to give them a story to write, man.

Speaker 36 Got to give him a good story to write.

Speaker 36 You had Roger on last week talking about it.

Speaker 7 All right. Shout out to the Buck guys.

Speaker 17 Speaking of Roger, Goodell on late night.

Speaker 20 Yeah, baby. Jason,

Speaker 21 you had our big doll, Roger Goodell, a friend of the show, on, they call it late night.

Speaker 7 That's right. Every NFL player's dad.

Speaker 22 He all but confirmed the NFL will move to an 18-game

Speaker 33 in season.

Speaker 7 Yeah, I mean, I don't think he can technically confirm it because I think it has to be voted on by the owners. But I think everybody knows.
I mean, everybody knows this is where it's headed.

Speaker 7 17 games doesn't make sense. There's like more away games than home games some year for some teams.
I think that the 18-game season was a foregone conclusion when they went to 17.

Speaker 7 They went to 17 to see how it felt.

Speaker 17 Well, we did get some rural updates.

Speaker 3 Roger's still out on including hockey fights, which...

Speaker 3 Big bummer over here, but Ocho Cenco wants DPI to be 15 yards instead of a spot foul.

Speaker 7 First of all, I love that Ojocenco is trying to make the game more fair for defensive players because it feels like that's the complete opposite direction.

Speaker 7 As a receiver, I would not expect him to say something like this.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 But I wonder if there's a way to have DPI similar to face masks where depending on how overly egregious the DPI is, it's a 15-yarder or it's a spot foul.

Speaker 7 Like if you straight up tackle a guy, that should be put at the spot. Like you, that's bullcrap.

Speaker 7 But if if you're just like hand fighting and it kind of happens like in the play, I kind of feel like that should be 15 yards. Does that make sense?

Speaker 3 I hear what you're saying. I think it's

Speaker 46 fine the way it is.

Speaker 40 I think all of this is fine the way it is.

Speaker 10 All right, fair enough.

Speaker 45 I think defensive holding is only five yards. That's kind of like where it balances out.

Speaker 20 Offensive holding is 10.

Speaker 7 Yeah, we got to get rid of offensive holding just in general. The defense can hold.

Speaker 47 Psycho.

Speaker 20 You're insane. Bo Allen wants hitting the crossbar on a field goal to be worth four points.

Speaker 21 Doink is actually good.

Speaker 7 I'm very out on this rule.

Speaker 31 Yeah, I don't know where Bo was going with this, but it was good to see him in the suite after the game.

Speaker 36 Yeah. Honey Bobo.

Speaker 10 Honey Bobo.

Speaker 3 Miss my guy, man.

Speaker 29 It's always fun watching him on the late night, man.

Speaker 7 He's brought a lot of energy and juice to it.

Speaker 44 Yes, he always does.

Speaker 23 Shout out to Goodell and everybody.

Speaker 43 And you guys are always killing.

Speaker 49 I can't wait to see this week, brother.

Speaker 48 You want to pump it?

Speaker 41 You got any good guests this week?

Speaker 10 We got Ryan Clark.

Speaker 36 Hey, nice.

Speaker 7 We got Jameis Winston.

Speaker 19 Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7 Yeah, baby.

Speaker 28 Famous Jameis.

Speaker 7 And then we got my man Jim Gaffigan.

Speaker 10 Jim Gaffigan. Yes.
Are you fucking kidding me? I'm excited for all of you. Oh, he's awesome, dude.

Speaker 7 Do you know he played offensive line, I believe, in college?

Speaker 3 I mean, goddamn, it makes sense.

Speaker 10 Yeah, right?

Speaker 22 A lot of the offensive linemen are some of the funniest motherfuckers I know.

Speaker 7 Dude, he is, and he's right up there with one of the funniest dudes out there.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 I've been a fan for a long time. Are you getting a pre-show speech from Jameis?

Speaker 7 I don't know, Brandon. I'm trying to.
We haven't figured out the full gambit of the content, but

Speaker 7 we got some fun things lined up.

Speaker 23 You always do.

Speaker 34 But he sure does get the fucking people going when he does that.

Speaker 7 Something else that got the people going was TikTok being banned for 15 hours. That's right.
You would have thought all of the internet lost their mind.

Speaker 7 Did you guys guys survive the great TikTok, TikTok blackout of 2025?

Speaker 7 Didn't even know it happened. I'm not on TikTok.

Speaker 21 Knew it happened. Didn't give two shits about it.

Speaker 18 Shout out to everybody on TikTok that needs it to make money and does a great job of

Speaker 50 promoting themselves or their business on there.

Speaker 28 Yep.

Speaker 11 But that didn't affect me one bit.

Speaker 51 I'm an Instagram Twitter guy. I don't know.

Speaker 44 It is what it is.

Speaker 10 I got off Facebook a long time ago and haven't looked back since.

Speaker 7 Facebook, what happened?

Speaker 10 How did Facebook go route of MySpace?

Speaker 7 What happened to that?

Speaker 10 Well, they let all the old people on.

Speaker 51 They let our parents get on and our parents, you know,

Speaker 7 pretty true.

Speaker 35 Started telling everybody how they felt.

Speaker 7 They would have just kept it at college, kids. You have to have the college URL.
That's how you first

Speaker 7 had to get on.

Speaker 33 You got to have the college email.

Speaker 27 That was the only time I ever used it.

Speaker 18 I never used it.

Speaker 7 I used my college email for a good

Speaker 7 10 years after leaving the University of Cincinnati and then found out that it was not working anymore.

Speaker 38 Yeah, I think they

Speaker 27 move on.

Speaker 7 They cut me off.

Speaker 40 I didn't know how to log in.

Speaker 7 Well, that's a problem.

Speaker 34 That is a problem, unless you let it work for you instead of against you.

Speaker 42 Although it did work against me when class was canceled and I just showed up to class for no fucking reason.

Speaker 23 Shout out to TikTok.

Speaker 10 What app

Speaker 7 being banned would actually ruin your life?

Speaker 10 I don't know that anyhow. I'd say probably maps.

Speaker 13 I'd probably say like YouTube or Spotify or Wonder Plus or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 7 That would be a big bummer for us.

Speaker 7 That would really suck.

Speaker 15 That would mean I'm out of a job.

Speaker 17 All right. That's it for new news brought to you by American Express.

Speaker 7 All right, let's move on to some bold topics to wrap up the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, starting with Chiefs 23, Texans 14.

Speaker 10 Try up.

Speaker 7 How does it feel to be going into your seventh straight AFC title game?

Speaker 3 It feels good, man.

Speaker 22 One game and you get one game and you get the puncher ticket into the Super Bowl, man.

Speaker 28 Fuck.

Speaker 10 It's right there.

Speaker 52 It's one of those scenarios you dream about in the beginning of the season to be able to do this.

Speaker 37 And we've been fortunate enough to do this for seven straight years.

Speaker 24 I've had a heartbreak.

Speaker 3 I've had a triumph.

Speaker 40 I've won and lost this game multiple times.

Speaker 37 So

Speaker 35 I know exactly how to attack this thing, and you just got to attack it day by day and not peak too soon.

Speaker 28 And,

Speaker 36 you know, circle the wagons, baby.

Speaker 40 It's going to be a tough one against the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 7 I don't think people realize how fucking crazy this is. Seven straight times, you have been one of the top two teams in the AFC.
It's just mind-blowing that this has happened this much.

Speaker 7 And it's a testament to you guys, obviously. Is it just expected you're going to go to the AFC championship?

Speaker 10 Yeah, I mean, that's your ball.

Speaker 27 I put that on myself every single year.

Speaker 34 Yeah.

Speaker 38 It's either that or I'm a failure.

Speaker 10 Oh, okay.

Speaker 51 Nothing in between.

Speaker 7 Well, that's a hell of a way to live your life. It's working out so far.

Speaker 3 And it has nothing to do with, I don't care if I'm the MVP of the league, which I'll never be, or which I've never been up for, but it doesn't matter what you do individually.

Speaker 32 It's all about what your team does at the end of the day.

Speaker 7 I don't care if I'm the rushing league title, like if I'm the rushing yardage champion.

Speaker 35 It's all about what your team does. And

Speaker 35 in Kansas City, we set those expectations for ourselves.

Speaker 7 This game was also Andy Reid's 300th career win.

Speaker 19 Big red.

Speaker 10 How about that?

Speaker 23 Did you hear what he said?

Speaker 7 What did he say?

Speaker 37 He said, we get a few more. It actually match my weight.

Speaker 7 I wonder how many more.

Speaker 39 So I'm here to get him a few more and match his weight.

Speaker 7 He's gotten a little bit skinny. I think he's under 300 now, right?

Speaker 10 Yes. He looks great.
He does look great.

Speaker 34 I have no idea how much he weighs, no.

Speaker 47 But I thought it was a pretty good bit that everybody should hear because Andy Reid, even though he's one of the greatest coaches ever in 300 career wins is absolutely insane.

Speaker 51 He still finds a way to brush it off and have fun with it.

Speaker 34 That's why I love the guy.

Speaker 51 Andy's the greatest.

Speaker 7 Playoff Yeti. Let's get to the real thing.
You wore the right cleats again, and you finished with seven catches for 117 yards.

Speaker 43 I wore them just for you, just so you could thrive.

Speaker 24 Just so you could thrive right now.

Speaker 7 There is nothing more that I love knowing that I'm still having an impact on the field by telling Travis to wear the right cleats.

Speaker 21 That red die, baby, makes me look way faster, doesn't it?

Speaker 53 Dude, you got to be. You can move so much quicker.

Speaker 10 I can really outrun everyone, can't I?

Speaker 10 Get those new ones.

Speaker 7 It's not so much speed as it is the, the, the,

Speaker 7 all right. Anyways, uh, so

Speaker 7 why do the playoffs bring the best out of the Yeti?

Speaker 50 You know, I would, I wish it was just a switch that I could say that's it's time to go and I'm ready to play.

Speaker 45 That's not what it is.

Speaker 14 It's throughout the year, we try and play our best every single week.

Speaker 40 Every single play, I'm trying to, I'm trying my hardest.

Speaker 27 I'm doing everything I can to help my team win throughout the week.

Speaker 34 And over the course of a season, I think that we have a method and a formula from Coach Reed that we just gradually get better as the season goes on.

Speaker 27 And when we go into the playoffs, we're playing our best football.

Speaker 40 At least that's the effort.

Speaker 24 That's the focus.

Speaker 32 That's the determined mindset to be able to play your best at the end of the season.

Speaker 10 Right.

Speaker 52 You know, every, it's everybody on the same page,

Speaker 48 everybody, you know, doing their part.

Speaker 39 And when the ball is in our hands, we make plays when we're called upon.

Speaker 40 And I was fortunate that I had seven to eight chances to make a play. I failed on one and had a ball slapped out of my hand early on.

Speaker 28 And,

Speaker 40 you know, from that point on, I felt like I could get a rhythm and get going here.

Speaker 22 But at the same time,

Speaker 19 it's just football, baby.

Speaker 3 There's never a time where I'm, you know, holding back and

Speaker 3 I got to make sure I keep some things in my back pocket.

Speaker 36 It's not that.

Speaker 29 I'm always competing my ass off, man.

Speaker 7 Yeah. I think

Speaker 7 I also, you guys had 23 days off from your last game. At least the starters did, uh, most of them.
Yeah.

Speaker 41 Before this game, some, some of that helps. Some of that helps.

Speaker 10 At the end of the day,

Speaker 7 it hurts you guys a little bit. I feel like offensively, your guys' timing was off.
The first like two or three drives, you ran some plays that felt like, oh, there's a little bit of rustiness there.

Speaker 7 But I feel like with for guys like you, for guys that have been in the league for a long time, I know I always appreciated the rest.

Speaker 10 Hell yeah. You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 Like it means more for the older guys.

Speaker 22 That's what you're playing your ass off in the regular season for is to get that rest going into a stretch

Speaker 42 and being able to get that one seat or being able to get a playoff berth under your belt so that you can maybe miss that last game.

Speaker 34 You know,

Speaker 32 whatever the situation is, you try your ass off throughout the year to get that opportunity and get the honor of being able to kind of, you know, take those weeks to get healthy.

Speaker 7 Let's watch this touchdown catch you had because I just,

Speaker 7 the styling and profiling by you was awesome as well.

Speaker 10 You go, Pat up.

Speaker 52 Patty Mahomes pushes the pocket, has the strength

Speaker 3 to fight off a 300-pound man while throwing an absolute dart in the back of the end zone.

Speaker 10 Why you got to look at

Speaker 7 Shair like this?

Speaker 28 Listen, I'm just in the moment.

Speaker 10 I got a lot of people. No, no, no, no, no.
There's something personal there. There is something personal there.

Speaker 3 There's something personal there.

Speaker 43 Stop doing that.

Speaker 33 I don't have vendettas against people for no fucking reason.

Speaker 37 He's never done anything to me.

Speaker 35 He's a great competitor.

Speaker 7 He is a great competitor.

Speaker 40 And all that is is just me having fun playing football, dog.

Speaker 40 And sometimes, you know, in the playoffs, you play with a little bit more emotion, a little bit more aggression, and a little bit more swagger.

Speaker 40 And I went on Stephen A's show last week and told everybody if I got in there, I'd swag it out.

Speaker 43 And sure enough, this is just how I did it, man.

Speaker 7 Well, you also had this catch for 49 yards.

Speaker 32 Yeah, that was the first catch I had.

Speaker 28 This one was just

Speaker 28 making a bunch of people.

Speaker 7 Come on, look at them red shoes. Come on now.

Speaker 7 Oh, yeah, red shoes.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 3 Yeah, the red shoes really helped me when Zaire went for the strip.

Speaker 22 Yeah, I mean,

Speaker 32 you play a little bit better when nobody's guarding you.

Speaker 10 And that's the beauty of the NFL.

Speaker 7 It's always good. They went with a blitz on this, right? Is that where my pat started?

Speaker 10 Yeah, they went with a nickel blitz.

Speaker 17 They nickel blitz on top of that.

Speaker 22 When they rush five, less defenders on the back end.

Speaker 41 You got two guys running with the flat.

Speaker 40 Nobody over the middle of the field.

Speaker 37 And you just run and replace.

Speaker 27 Pat was right there in sync with me.

Speaker 23 It's a day one install play, so you can play really fast.

Speaker 43 That's why, that's why Coach loves dialing up those things.

Speaker 36 And good football, man.

Speaker 7 Big play, big play. The whole world was talking about something else during the game.
And I'm sure you saw some of this, but they were complaining about the refs again, Trav. Even Lil Wayne.

Speaker 7 Lil Wayne, I hate the cheating ass Chiefs. He's going ass with Tuesday.

Speaker 17 Shout out to Duncey, man.

Speaker 7 Colin Saunders had a rebuttal. He said, literally, folks, we'll see shit like this and say, yep, just like I thought.
Refs versus the Texans.

Speaker 7 Bro, the Texans left the all-time leading playoffs receiver wide booty butt naked open for four quarters.

Speaker 10 Just hearing

Speaker 10 him say that.

Speaker 7 And yet the Chiefs needed those calls.

Speaker 36 Wide booty button naked open.

Speaker 3 They did. They left me butt naked open.

Speaker 7 And I forgot to mention them boys at eight sacks. Eight.
CJ couldn't even scratch his ass for a good second before he was getting sacked.

Speaker 7 We need to get Colin on the podcast. This guy's fucking hilarious.

Speaker 48 Oh, man.

Speaker 40 As you know, the D-line and O-line rooms in the NFL, it's the pure comedy.

Speaker 23 Shout out to Sir Bank.

Speaker 7 And you guys were getting after. I mean, CJ's offensive line wasn't great all year.
That was the big thing that was kind of holding them back.

Speaker 7 He was getting hit quite a bit all season, but the Chiefs got after him a bit extra hard. 14 quarterback hits, nine tackles for losses,

Speaker 7 one blocked field goal again.

Speaker 29 Leo Chennau.

Speaker 7 What do you think about the two rough and the pastor calls?

Speaker 23 I'd like to plead the fifth.

Speaker 7 I can comment on it, though, right?

Speaker 10 Of course.

Speaker 7 I think the second one was completely, just like absolutely ridiculous, right? I mean, he didn't even get touched. I don't know.
They just missed it.

Speaker 26 He definitely got touched.

Speaker 7 I could see what they saw, but I don't think it was really that much forcible contact to his head. I think it was like, it looked like it was, but it didn't look like it was.

Speaker 7 In slow motion, it was that much. But I understand why they called it.
Just thought it was a bad call. Let's talk about pregame fits.

Speaker 7 Trav, you went with the shorts and it was, I mean, that wind was fucking cold.

Speaker 38 Pregame fits. You're talking about the walk-in or like when I was warming up?

Speaker 7 That shit was cold as fuck.

Speaker 40 It was not.

Speaker 10 The sun was out.

Speaker 14 And regardless, it's like I got a hat on.

Speaker 49 I'm keeping the wind off my ears. My legs don't get cold because I'm a hairy son of a bitch.

Speaker 7 Bro, that wind, I don't care what you say. That wind was gusting and it was a blowing and it was a chilly.

Speaker 3 Well, you got to understand, I'm going out there. When I do these warm-ups, I'm going out there for 10 minutes max.

Speaker 10 That's a good point.

Speaker 28 Like I'm going out there to gauge it.

Speaker 20 Like if it's, if it's super snowy or super like rainy and super cold, like I might throw a hoodie on just to like get the sweat going.

Speaker 36 But for the most part,

Speaker 40 I really don't care what the weather is in the warm-ups.

Speaker 52 That being said, I didn't put anything else on for the game, but

Speaker 37 whatever it is.

Speaker 27 I mean, the cold is the cold.

Speaker 43 I'm going to find a way to stay warm on the sidelines, whether I got a jacket or I'm sitting on the heaters or I'm running up and down the sideline to keep the blood flow going and the body loose.

Speaker 24 Like, I'm going to do what I have to do.

Speaker 34 I'm not worried about what the weather is and

Speaker 51 how it's going to affect how I play. I just go out there and play my fucking game.

Speaker 7 I felt the same way when I used to play. I didn't really get cold, but I'll tell you this, being an analyst on the sideline, it was cold.

Speaker 7 Especially when you sit down and your pants roll up and your ankles are exposed.

Speaker 10 Got to get some socks out of you, bud. We got some longer socks.
Actually,

Speaker 7 I had wool socks and I had boots on, but the area in between the pant leg, it still rolled up on me.

Speaker 10 That was cool. It was cool.

Speaker 47 Good, get your tailor.

Speaker 10 Work on that. I don't know what's saying.

Speaker 3 Well, Jason, we got a good one from Rodney Lacroix.

Speaker 10 Lacroix. I think that's how you say that name.

Speaker 55 Jason looks like the guy you hire to get possum out of your attic.

Speaker 19 Which I thought was absolutely hilarious because outside of like the,

Speaker 34 what do you call it?

Speaker 19 The jacket and the hat like coordination, it's the yellow gloves that give you this guy can fucking just round up some

Speaker 7 rodents. Well, I went with the yellow gloves because a lot of times, Trav, you'll go with the yellow gloves, but you didn't do that on this one.

Speaker 40 You got to know if you're calling me out for going and I got to go red cleats, I got to go red gloves.

Speaker 10 I can't just

Speaker 10 be out here. Well, go yellow cleats.

Speaker 36 You want me to go yellow cleats this week?

Speaker 7 But go with that kind of yellow, not like the other kind of yellow.

Speaker 10 What?

Speaker 7 Don't do like the

Speaker 7 other

Speaker 7 Jordan yellow. I don't know how to show the cleat that I'm talking about.

Speaker 49 I only have one cleat, yellow cleat.

Speaker 7 Don't go with this kind of like color. It's got to be full.
It's got to be full.

Speaker 10 Full yellow. All right.
Yeah.

Speaker 24 I don't even know what you mean to show me. But I hear you saying full yellow.

Speaker 10 I got you. Yeah.
Yeah. All yellow.
Yeah. On it.

Speaker 7 But also maybe just keep wearing the red ones because they're working. And I don't know what the yellow does.

Speaker 12 Player makes the shoes.

Speaker 43 Shoes don't make the player.

Speaker 7 Yeah, tell that to your feet when they start fucking hurting and they don't work very well.

Speaker 7 I had to go back into this old-ass cleat for the last four years of my career.

Speaker 49 It's because you were in Under Armour, man.

Speaker 7 Well, I went, I was in Nike, then I went to Under Armor, then I went back to Nike, and then Nike made these awful cleats. The bottom of the new Nike is just so fucking terrible.

Speaker 7 And so I went back to an old Nike cleat

Speaker 7 and I tried the Jordans, but they were too soft. It was like running in sand.
So I went back to the old like Nike cleats, and then I got my acceleration back.

Speaker 10 Nice.

Speaker 36 Shout out to Nike.

Speaker 7 Did you meet the Rizzler?

Speaker 10 Did you meet the Rizzler? Did I meet him?

Speaker 38 I didn't meet him.

Speaker 10 Who's the Rizzler?

Speaker 19 There you go.

Speaker 3 He didn't meet him, folks.

Speaker 19 Is that the Rizzler?

Speaker 7 This kid?

Speaker 33 Yeah, the kid?

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 28 Yeah. He's big on TikTok, I think.

Speaker 7 Oh, nice.

Speaker 43 TikTok went down, so he had to show up at the game.

Speaker 10 That's huge.

Speaker 43 Shout out to the Rizzler, man.

Speaker 50 He's just a young, chubby kid, man, just like me.

Speaker 51 Just a sports fanatic.

Speaker 7 LeBron stats, Travis Kelsey's 14th straight playoff game with 70-plus receiving yards. That is the longest streak in NFL history.
The second longest streak in the NFL history is seven.

Speaker 7 The second longest active streak is two.

Speaker 7 In other words, Travis Kelsey is fucking killing the postseason. Great LeBron stat.

Speaker 36 There you go. 70 yards.

Speaker 3 Chris Berman, the Swami himself,

Speaker 32 he interviewed me before this one and told me that, including my playoff yardage, I have over eight miles of receiving yards.

Speaker 7 Eight miles.

Speaker 11 That's pretty cool.

Speaker 7 That's

Speaker 7 pretty damn awesome.

Speaker 51 It's insane.

Speaker 7 How's it feel to be right behind Jerry Rice? The only players with 2,000-plus receiving yards and 20-plus receiving touchdowns in the postseason.

Speaker 36 I mean, I'm right there with him at this point, and it's a pretty goddamn cool feeling.

Speaker 49 That being said, for whatever reason, man, you know, you set these goals and these like

Speaker 30 statistical accolades that

Speaker 35 you want to meet when you first get into the league.

Speaker 50 You're just like, man, I want to be in the conversations with the greatest ever and the most yards and the most touchdowns.

Speaker 19 And all the guys that you look at that are at the top of that list, like, you feel like, that's what's going to make me satisfied.

Speaker 50 And that's what's going to make me feel like I've done it.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 40 While you're in it, I just, I'm just not satisfied with, you know, what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 I feel like I have this mentality and this

Speaker 32 mindset week in, week out, year in, year out to just be better than what I was the previous day.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 32 You know, I think all these stats and accolades and everything, they'll be cool when I'm done playing.

Speaker 43 I'll be able to look back on everything and say, nice, man, that was what I fucking edged in

Speaker 28 history.

Speaker 38 And

Speaker 28 right now, I'm just...

Speaker 47 I'm so focused on beating the Buffalo Bills right now, man, that

Speaker 32 I could really care less about passing any of Jerry Rice's records.

Speaker 43 And, you know, shout out to Jerry Rice.

Speaker 28 I'm not saying that because, you know, Jerry's a man. I'm downplaying that.
You know, he's the fucking goat.

Speaker 29 And even if I do pass his records, I'm still going to consider him the greatest

Speaker 43 to ever do it.

Speaker 30 You know, like, what, like, it's, it just is how I, it's how I feel about these kind of things of just never being satisfied, man.

Speaker 45 And as I look over the course of my career, I've just never felt like that.

Speaker 3 I've never felt that I've made it feeling.

Speaker 50 It's always just been, what can I do better?

Speaker 34 What can I do next? And what I can do next is, you know, win another AFC championship.

Speaker 10 Yeah, no, I get it.

Speaker 7 And you're focused on

Speaker 7 team goals, and you guys are one game away from going to your another consecutive Super Bowl. There was somebody that cared about the LeBron stats, and that was LeBron.
LeBron James tweeted, Matt T.

Speaker 10 Kelsey.

Speaker 10 Congrats, brother.

Speaker 7 See you now.

Speaker 10 NFL record.

Speaker 28 This got me going.

Speaker 46 This is yeah, right.

Speaker 7 Sometimes this is why the LeBron stats matter because then LeBron tweets about you. Congrats, brother.
NFL record for most 100 yards receiving in the playoffs. Nine games.
Bada boom.

Speaker 10 Fire. NBA games now.
Three of them.

Speaker 7 And a salute. Oh, you had a salute.

Speaker 10 Yes, sir.

Speaker 56 Mom and dad, mom and mom, dad and dad, whatever.

Speaker 57 Parents, are you about to spend five hours in the car with your beloved kids this holiday season?

Speaker 56 Driving to old Granny's house? I'm setting the scene.

Speaker 17 I'm picturing screaming, fighting, back-to-back hours of the K-pop Demon Hunter soundtrack on repeat.

Speaker 57 Well, when your ears start to bleed, I have the perfect thing to keep you from rolling out of that moving vehicle.

Speaker 10 Something for the whole family.

Speaker 56 He's filled with laughs.

Speaker 58 He's filled with rage. The OG Green Gronk, give it up for me, James Austin Johnson, as the Grinch.

Speaker 56 And like any insufferable influencer these days, I'm bringing my crew of lesser talented friends along for the ride with A-list guests like Gronk, Mark Hamill, and the Jonas Brothers, whoever they are.

Speaker 56 There's a little bit of something for everyone.

Speaker 57 Listen to Tis the Grinch Holiday Podcast, wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 7 Let's keep moving on to some of these other games, Trav. Congratulations.
Good luck this week.

Speaker 20 Thank you, brother.

Speaker 19 Eagles 28. Rams 22.

Speaker 17 Moving on to a little snow game in Philly. Jason, you were at this magical snow globe.

Speaker 10 I was.

Speaker 17 I was talking to you earlier about it.

Speaker 22 You said it kind of reminded you of the 2013 game you had.

Speaker 7 A little bit. I mean,

Speaker 7 the 2013 game was snowing from the get-go. What was unique about this one is if you go back and watch the first half, there's like not a fucking fleck of snow.

Speaker 7 It all just like started coming down randomly. Yeah.
And then by the time it's the third and fourth quarter, it's a full-on goddamn blizzard.

Speaker 10 Like it was intense. It was cool.

Speaker 7 And the Eagles have already, I think, maybe even said publicly, at least it's being alluded to, that they want to go to a retractable dome because they want to be able to like host Super Bowls.

Speaker 7 They want to be able to have events year-round in the next stadium they build. And I just am so much against the dome.

Speaker 7 Like, I think that snow, rain, that's one of the things I love about football is that the elements play a factor. And they played a factor in this game.

Speaker 7 So I thought it was awesome. I love snow games.
I was also in a box, so I didn't really have to deal with any of it, but it was awesome to watch from outside the window.

Speaker 7 Highly a big fan of the snow game.

Speaker 32 Well, the irony about the 2013 game and this game was that the Eagles were playing Matthew Stafford in both games.

Speaker 10 That's right.

Speaker 7 That's right.

Speaker 22 And the Eagles came out on top in both games.

Speaker 36 Shout out to Matty Stafford, man, our guy.

Speaker 10 Hell yeah.

Speaker 3 Fellow friend.

Speaker 40 And man, what a fucking competitor that guy is.

Speaker 22 Are snow games the best best type of football game, though?

Speaker 7 I think so. I think snow is, it just makes everything magical.
It has this way of putting everything, especially when you're playing in it, but also as a spectator, like, I don't know.

Speaker 46 It just does just make it more dramatic and just more like just a fun atmosphere, doesn't it?

Speaker 40 I mean, we played Buffalo up in Buffalo, and it was snowy, and we're getting pegged with fucking snowballs at the end of it.

Speaker 31 And I just, I, there was something about, I don't think if it's as snowy as it was and, you know, built up like excitement for the fans going in there, getting paid $20 an hour just to clear out the snow.

Speaker 53 I think it makes such a cool element for certain stadiums and certain

Speaker 24 teams that I think it has to be the best atmosphere to play in.

Speaker 51 It's the only one that kind of uplifts everybody if it's the right amount of snow, I guess.

Speaker 7 Yeah, it just has this way about it where it just feels like it's almost like whimsical and like it's awesome. I love snow games.
Always.

Speaker 44 Where did you get this? What is this?

Speaker 17 This bro, This like poncho?

Speaker 10 Is that actually

Speaker 36 blanket material, though?

Speaker 3 That's not poncho material.

Speaker 7 Oh, it's poncho. I got it in LA.
It's definitely not NFL licensed because it was from a guy named Chang on Venice Beach Boardwalk. I'm not even making this up.

Speaker 7 Bro, we had a whole bit for the late-night show that we ended up not doing because of the fires that are out in L.A.

Speaker 7 We didn't, like, it didn't feel right anymore, the comedy behind it. Yeah.
But I ended up making friends with one of the shop owners down there on Venice Beach.

Speaker 27 And this was what he had for you.

Speaker 7 Yeah, he he scammed me into paying $100 for this poncho.

Speaker 17 $100?

Speaker 7 I knew it was wrong, but I'm like, I got to support Chang. You know, I knew there's no chance, but you know what? This guy's out here trying to scam people and make a living.
I get it.

Speaker 10 Fuck it. Yeah, so I did it.
Whatever.

Speaker 33 Nice. You're a good guy.

Speaker 43 That's all I saw in that. You didn't get scammed.

Speaker 3 You knew exactly what you were buying.

Speaker 7 Well, he tried to scam me. I didn't knew.

Speaker 10 I just went along with it.

Speaker 36 Yeah, that's not getting scammed.

Speaker 36 You just wanted to help a guy out.

Speaker 3 It's true. There's nothing scammy about that.

Speaker 7 Well, he was scamming. I wasn't scamming.

Speaker 20 Well, he was scamming or he just knew that he could hit you at the right spot.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 10 There's nothing scamming. He's like, there's a big whale over here.

Speaker 7 He's got a big old pocketbook.

Speaker 38 Oh, yeah. And

Speaker 10 I could hit him where it hurts.

Speaker 7 I bought three other ones for $100, and then I had people sign them, and then I sold those for $200.

Speaker 19 And that's how you didn't get scammed.

Speaker 7 I became the scammer.

Speaker 10 And then I took the money back.

Speaker 7 I took the money back to Chang. One day that video will surface.
It was going to be epic.

Speaker 10 So good.

Speaker 39 The biggest combo going on in the game was Rams rookie Jared Verse talking that shit.

Speaker 27 And, I mean, he was backing it up.

Speaker 17 He was backing up.

Speaker 36 He was having himself a hell of a game.

Speaker 53 But after every single play he made, he made sure that the Eagles fans saw him and heard him as he was running to the sidelines.

Speaker 19 But a pre-game quote, though, I hate Eagles fans.

Speaker 53 They're so annoying.

Speaker 42 I hate Eagles fans when i see that green and white i hate it i actually get upset i actually genuinely get hot i get and being him being hot is like him being uh furious yeah he's from like an hour or two north of philly i think at least that's where he went to high school so he gets it

Speaker 7 just embracing it yeah listen he played pretty dang good for being honest yeah he backed it up their d line played better than i thought they would i mean i think um the Eagles' offensive line is very good.

Speaker 7 They have a good D-line as well with the Rams, but I thought that the Eagles' O-line was really going to block them pretty handily because of how good they are.

Speaker 7 And that was a good matchup all game long.

Speaker 10 I mean,

Speaker 7 they brought the heat. They ran games well.

Speaker 7 I think.

Speaker 36 The rookie getting banged up.

Speaker 10 I think

Speaker 10 he slowed him down.

Speaker 43 Yeah.

Speaker 10 And man, that dude is good.

Speaker 7 Yeah, and Fisk runs a lot of the games really well. He's got a knack for running those TEs and everything.
He sets things up for other guys. So he's a big part of what they do up front.

Speaker 10 I will say this, though, being

Speaker 3 a Chiefs player my entire life, going to your games, I've gotten some fun banter with the Eagles.

Speaker 10 Of course.

Speaker 21 I think Eagles fans get it.

Speaker 36 I think they know

Speaker 19 they arguably do love it.

Speaker 41 They want somebody to come in and talk shit to them.

Speaker 21 For sure.

Speaker 20 They want it to be a rowdy and almost like a fight mentality.

Speaker 31 Like, I fucking hate you.

Speaker 7 You hate us yeah like let's do there's like we're gonna talk shit but then there's also like kind of like at the end of the day there's a respect at the end kind of respect that a little bit being a dickhead but fuck you exactly i think there is uh there is a little bit of that so uh the eagles putting it on the jumblotron before the game

Speaker 10 i didn't see that i saw that i thought that was pretty clever make sure the the eagles knew that that was hey in case you missed this yeah exactly that guy said this before the game yep but i think uh i think i've learned to appreciate the eagles fans for that.

Speaker 50 And I've also been lucky that my brother is one of the best Eagles to ever play the fucking game.

Speaker 3 So that makes them kind of appreciate my family a little bit more.

Speaker 11 So we have more of a mutual respect for each other.

Speaker 3 But yeah, Eagles fans,

Speaker 32 they want you to do this kind of stuff.

Speaker 33 And I think,

Speaker 36 I don't know,

Speaker 36 maybe Jared knew that coming in because he grew up not too far away.

Speaker 7 I think he did know because he said this after the game. He said, after the game, I was walking in the locker room.
They were throwing snowballs at me. They bleed green and white.

Speaker 7 I like that they stand on it. They don't shy away from it.
My phone was blowing up the last two or three days. All I was seeing was, yeah, we embrace it.
We love that. And I'm like, okay, I got it.

Speaker 7 So I think he grew up on the East Coast. He knows what the deal is.
This is just kind of the way it works. I loved every second of it.
And clearly, I mean, it got the most out of him.

Speaker 10 I thought he played pretty damn well. Yeah.

Speaker 7 Really, the Rams in general played pretty well. I thought the elements affected them quite a bit.

Speaker 10 And

Speaker 7 the other guy that played really well was Saquon.

Speaker 3 Let's talk Saquon then.

Speaker 21 Finished with 26 carries, 205 in a touchdown.

Speaker 10 Broke off.

Speaker 53 TD runs a 62 and 78.

Speaker 33 God damn.

Speaker 35 The guy's just absolutely taking over every fucking game he's in.

Speaker 24 He seems to be unstoppable and a force that you just got to weather and you can't fucking stop this thing.

Speaker 36 Let's see both of these clips, though.

Speaker 42 I want to see both of these to the house.

Speaker 28 I mean, speed kills, especially in the fucking snow.

Speaker 35 Looks like this is the 62-yard of this first one.

Speaker 10 This is the first one.

Speaker 3 Very similar to

Speaker 50 the in-season touchdown that he had against him.

Speaker 7 Interesting is that if you go back to the start of this, both of these plays, I believe, were inside zones. They hit front side.
Typically, that play has a tendency to roll behind it. Yeah.

Speaker 7 Good job by Cam. God, that was a great block.

Speaker 47 Technically, it hit in the A gap, so it hit where you think it would.

Speaker 7 Yeah, but I mean, normally it rolls behind the center.

Speaker 43 Yeah, it stays on that hash.

Speaker 10 Actually, that might not be.

Speaker 7 That was a strong side inside zone.

Speaker 27 Yeah, great kickout block by my guy, Dallas Goddard.

Speaker 10 Was that even inside zone?

Speaker 7 Go back to this. Let me see.

Speaker 47 This guy's who gives a shit.

Speaker 34 It's 100% inside zone.

Speaker 10 Right?

Speaker 33 Yes.

Speaker 42 Outside zone, the running back takes three steps past the midline.

Speaker 43 Come on, Jason.

Speaker 38 You know this.

Speaker 38 God damn it.

Speaker 28 I've been doing this too damn long.

Speaker 22 The second clip, though, came at one of the most crucial points in the fucking game. Fourth quarter, five minutes to go.

Speaker 3 Now, this is an inside zone.

Speaker 7 This is an inside split zone. The tight ends whacking back.
Landon Diggerson does a phenomenal job. They're going out to this overhang player.

Speaker 7 He bangs the guy that he thinks he's going to end up blocking out on top of the tackle as that outside backer folds back in and then tracks him on the front side of this.

Speaker 10 And then Cam Jerkins does a huge block as well.

Speaker 37 Yeah, I was about to say, what screws that kind of stuff up is, I mean, very similar, just hand the ball off and let him just find the crease.

Speaker 7 He just has a knack for finding his way on these plays. He really does.

Speaker 3 What I like about this, though, is that Jordan Malada kind of hangs in there.

Speaker 38 He doesn't get too much depth.

Speaker 7 They could have very easily got thinned out right there.

Speaker 41 Two guys are blocking one.

Speaker 7 Stout would call that asparagus when all of a sudden the outside guy kind of folds in behind. Like, it's not like a design game.
He just kind of like flows naturally in behind the other D-tackle.

Speaker 53 Why are we calling it asparagus?

Speaker 7 I don't know because he didn't know what to call it. I think it's literally why he called it asparagus.

Speaker 10 I don't know what to call this.

Speaker 7 Call it asparagus. So then he just called it asparagus.

Speaker 10 It can make sense. It's asparagus because that's what we call it.

Speaker 7 But Landon does such a great job of knocking that out, tracking his guy, blocking. I mean, he blocked damn near three people in that play.

Speaker 7 And then Cam Jugens has the hard job held up with the nose, and he just does a fantastic job. And this thing goes for a big one.
This was kind of the game ceiling run. Not kind of.
It was.

Speaker 41 Well, you say it was the game ceiling run, but the Rams definitely had a chance.

Speaker 7 Yeah, they had an opportunity.

Speaker 36 They did. They definitely had a chance, and he got a little bit of a story.

Speaker 10 I shouldn't say that.

Speaker 7 It wasn't the game-stealing.

Speaker 7 They had an opportunity at the end.

Speaker 21 Huge momentum booster, though.

Speaker 7 Huge run. Saquon, obviously, another unbelievable game against the Rams.

Speaker 50 200-plus yards, man. This guy's running for 200-plus in the playoffs.

Speaker 12 Holy shit.

Speaker 39 Do we know that's the guy we need to stop?

Speaker 17 Are we locked into our IDs?

Speaker 36 Are we playing our gaps?

Speaker 38 Easier said than done, obviously, with that type of offensive line, tight ends, the way the wide receivers are in there in the run game,

Speaker 24 how the Eagles spread everybody out with the RPOs.

Speaker 42 And then on top of that, the way Saquon can just set up fucking blocks and absolutely knife the defense and hit the holes and speed, confidence, bulldozer, break arm tackles.

Speaker 32 I mean,

Speaker 50 he's been doing it all and he's playing confident, man.

Speaker 7 I think there's such an underrated part of his game is setting blocks and being able to, his vision, I'm telling you,

Speaker 7 didn't, we never got a chance to witness it with the Giants because the line just wasn't that capable, to be honest with you.

Speaker 42 Well, they were dealing with injuries, it felt like every single fucking year.

Speaker 7 I guess, but I'm just letting you, like, him behind this offensive line and watching him able to manipulate blocks, hit plays front side that I didn't think were like nobody I've seen do that. Like

Speaker 7 there was a same side run I was bringing up all the time where he gets in, then he gets back out. He's just got an insane feel for the game.

Speaker 36 You want to be good at running back?

Speaker 3 Figure out how the linemen are taught to block this play.

Speaker 3 Don't just go out there and just be like, give me the ball and I'm going to just run through the A gap or the B gap.

Speaker 36 Figure out how guys are being blocked and how the scheme is like supposed to be.

Speaker 7 When I also, like, I've never talked to this with him, but I feel like the best backs I've played with, similar to the way you play tight end.

Speaker 7 Like you have like your first read and your second read

Speaker 7 when you're running a play. But I feel like you do that kind of when you're practicing.

Speaker 7 When you're in the game, I feel like a lot of it is just like natural feel for how the game's being played and what is happening in front of you. You're not so narrowed in.

Speaker 7 There's so many guys I play, I run outside zone with where like they run to the first read. It's like, brother, there's a cutback lane like two steps ago.
Why didn't you just hit that shit?

Speaker 7 You know what I mean? And it feels like he's just got that, he's got that ability to see it.

Speaker 7 And I wonder if he's just like doing that all on instinct and natural ability in the game as opposed to like, I don't know. Does that make sense?

Speaker 53 No, 100%. Yeah.

Speaker 52 You got to have a feel for the game, understand the structure in the scheme, but you still have to have a feel for the game and be able to go out there and

Speaker 50 just play ball, man.

Speaker 50 And that's what he's doing right now, man.

Speaker 43 He's playing the best ball of anybody right now at the running back position.

Speaker 3 As an O-line, what is it like when you know you're blocking for a guy who can break it at any time?

Speaker 7 I don't know that I,

Speaker 10 I mean, the last one I probably had. I had one.

Speaker 7 Yeah, I mean, I played with some really good backs. Ryan Matthews was an underrated back.
Obviously, the Sean McCoy was the best one I played with.

Speaker 17 Fresno. Darren Sproles.

Speaker 7 Like, I played with some big play ability guys.

Speaker 7 And to me, I don't think you really ever are blocking, thinking about that big play.

Speaker 7 Now, it might be different because the Saquon's had so many of them this year, but I was always just like, hey, just block it to the whistle.

Speaker 7 And then you just knew when you had a big play like that, it was such a momentum shift. Like, it's just like a, it is a huge, huge, uh, just like great feeling for the entire unit.

Speaker 7 And then you just get to go walk off to the sideline and you're like, yeah, that's fun. Let's go do that again.
Yeah. I'll do that as many times as I want.
I don't got to grind out a 15-play drive.

Speaker 7 Yeah, let's just have those big ones. That's fun.

Speaker 40 Shady McCoy tweeted out, my boy going for 200 yards again.

Speaker 34 Yeah, baby.

Speaker 43 As he added Saquon.

Speaker 3 I mean, he just knew.

Speaker 43 He knew what kind of day it was going to be and that Saquon is is just in the zone right now.

Speaker 7 Well, and you know this, Trav, but the snow is to the benefit, in my opinion, at least, to the running game because the defensive line is the ones that have to make a play.

Speaker 7 They're the ones that have to go out of their way to beat an offensive player. We get to sit on double teams.
We get to just plod forward.

Speaker 7 The defensive guys have to be the ones that cut and make a play where Saquon, if he just hits something 100 miles an hour, a guy to try and go like regain his footing, get over there, tackle.

Speaker 7 Like, I always feel like whenever it's raining or snow, the run game is going to be more impactful in the outcome of the game.

Speaker 28 I think I'm, if it's a snow game, I'm going to have a big game.

Speaker 7 As a pass catcher? Yeah. So maybe, oh, why do you think that?

Speaker 46 Well, one, because Pat Mahomes can sling that ball to anything.

Speaker 51 It doesn't matter if it's rain, sleet, or snow.

Speaker 28 But also, I'm heavier than the DBs, which means my feet are going into the the ground more, which means it's not so much ice for me as, and on top of that, I grew up playing hockey.

Speaker 40 I know how to even run on ice.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 20 So I feel like I have the upper hand.

Speaker 7 So you just have a more

Speaker 42 acclimatized game? I can move.

Speaker 32 Yeah, just a more acclimatized game.

Speaker 7 Yeah. Snow neutralizes speed to a certain extent.

Speaker 10 Oh, yeah, baby.

Speaker 43 That's all I need.

Speaker 22 Everybody just come on, slow down just a little bit from me, baby.

Speaker 7 Yeah, come on down to this. You remember we used to play UConn and the UConn used to grow their grass out longer just to slow the game down and make you play their freaking power football?

Speaker 7 Bears do it.

Speaker 38 Green Bay does it.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 Smart.

Speaker 10 Smart.

Speaker 24 If you don't have fast guys.

Speaker 7 That's right. If you have fast guys,

Speaker 7 make that attract me. All right.
Anyway, shout out to Saquon and LaShawn McCoy for being the best snow running backs I've ever seen.

Speaker 23 Well,

Speaker 35 it wasn't just the offense that was that was firing, man.

Speaker 32 Jalen Carter.

Speaker 10 Bro. Arguably the best game of his career, maybe.

Speaker 23 Five tackles, three QB hits, two sacks, PBU, forced fumble.

Speaker 41 I mean, what else?

Speaker 23 That's a stat stuffer right there.

Speaker 24 You hit just about every defense outside of an interception in a fumble recovery. You hit just about every defensive statistic you could possibly hit.

Speaker 7 It was insane. I mean,

Speaker 7 he made all of these huge plays and really important parts of it. The forced fumble, the sack, obviously, on the third and two, right before the last play of the game for the Rams.
Yeah.

Speaker 7 I mean, he had so many huge plays. Yeah, I don't know which one you would kind of narrow it down to, but I think it was nobody impacted the game more probably on either team than Jalen Carter.

Speaker 26 Straight up.

Speaker 10 Outside of maybe Saquon.

Speaker 38 No, I'm with you.

Speaker 32 The second, third, and two at the end of the game, it's like me sitting in the middle of the fucking field wide open.

Speaker 23 You got to block the biggest guy on the fucking field, guys.

Speaker 3 And you would rather have two on him than none.

Speaker 7 So he kept doing this. Like, he kept slanting down inside.
How was the game plan with the game on the line not to double Jalen Carter? I don't know how that's not the game plan.

Speaker 40 Yeah, dude, I get it, man.

Speaker 36 Football is a hard game, man.

Speaker 10 I mean, I'm happy about it, but it's a hard game.

Speaker 7 It's not that hard. I mean, they made it harder for themselves.
Secure that D-tackle first, especially when he's freaking Jalen Carter. I just, that blew my mind.

Speaker 3 It's a weird sense that a lot of great defensive linemen have.

Speaker 31 They feel this like leverage point where

Speaker 52 you're giving them too much pressure.

Speaker 22 Yeah. The moment you get too much pressure and you get just a little bit off balance,

Speaker 52 they're fucking swimming you, they're fucking ripping, they're spinning, they're using the momentum and the strength you have against you.

Speaker 46 The great ones just have an ability to like put somebody in a mental blizzard all day by playing with the speed, the power, the hands, and the juke moves, man.

Speaker 7 So the biggest thing I'm trying to do against them is, first of all, double team them. I'm doing everything I can.
Whoever is blocking to at least put a hand on

Speaker 38 every technique is the mic today.

Speaker 7 Even if you got to block this guy over here, drag. Do not just go straight out there.
We ain't fucking doing that today. All right.
And if I got to go over here, I'm going to drag for you.

Speaker 7 That's how we're going to do this. We're not going to give this guy space.

Speaker 22 A drag for the non-football heads is what?

Speaker 7 If I'm going away from him, I'm not just going to go away and do my assignment. I'm going to stick my hand out to limit the amount of space that that guy has to work with.

Speaker 10 There it is.

Speaker 51 You're going to limit the the space.

Speaker 7 Nice. And the tackle can do that.
The center can do that. Or the guard can do that, depending on what technique he's in.
But I'm limiting space.

Speaker 7 I'm applying.

Speaker 7 I'm trying to get him before he gets going. And I'm getting ready when I quick set him for that quick hump move.

Speaker 7 That's what I'm trying to think about in the back of my head. And then after that, he's going to beat me nine times out of ten if I'm not double him anyway.

Speaker 47 So I was about to say, just fucking.

Speaker 10 Yeah. That's the

Speaker 10 call.

Speaker 22 Let's move on to the rest of the game. Shout out to the Eagles and good luck next week against the Commanders.

Speaker 53 And speaking of the Commanders, rest of the games, Commanders 45, Lions 31.

Speaker 40 No one in the world thought that the Commanders were going to come out on top in this one.

Speaker 7 I'll be honest, I think Scott Van Pelt, SVP, he's kind of a commanders homer because that's what he has.

Speaker 26 So he's a Washington guy, yeah.

Speaker 47 He is that

Speaker 10 area.

Speaker 7 I have not thought the Commanders were ready for this all season. I feel like I always felt like they were a year away.

Speaker 7 Even with the rookie quarterback playing great, it just felt like they don't have as many talented guys as you would want. And they continually do it.
They just have continued to play better.

Speaker 7 I think Dan Quinn, and this is not like a fucking groundbreaking take. What Dan Quinn has done up there with that defense has been nothing short of remarkable.

Speaker 7 I think he is having those guys play so great right now.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 It was a huge get getting Bobby Wagner this offseason. I really feel like that's accelerated the vision of a lot of things happening out there on defense.

Speaker 10 That's the guy.

Speaker 3 That's the guy that's making it happen.

Speaker 7 So the Eagles played the Commanders last time in the first game, and they had almost 100 yards rushing.

Speaker 7 Not the first game, the last time they played them, the second game. The Eagles almost had 100 yards rushing.
Maybe they did have 100 yards rushing in the first half.

Speaker 7 And when they ran this counterplay and it was there, they had a huge hit on it. Then all of a sudden, you saw them adjust to it.
Bobby is screaming over. The tight end couldn't block him.

Speaker 7 Like he had no chance on the Y block, the double team block to collect Bobby Wagner. He kept beating him.
Deron Payne started looping outside a lane and making the play. Yeah.

Speaker 7 They adjust so well to what you're doing on the day.

Speaker 7 They listen to calls really well. I felt like they did that well in Dallas when Dan Quinn was down there.

Speaker 7 Everything he does, they're not overly complicated on defense, but he gives those guys freedom to make plays. He coaches them well.
They play.

Speaker 7 If you have any type of like tendency that's going to give the playaway run pass, what run it is, formational tells, anything. They are going to sniff it out.

Speaker 7 And they play so disciplined across the board. That being said, I mean, you know, their offense, I mean, they were the reason they beat the Lions.
They just, they weren't stopped.

Speaker 7 They punted one time. They went for it on fourth down a bunch, but.

Speaker 22 Which they got a bunch of fucking, you know, veteran proven guys on that side of the ball.

Speaker 10 Zach Ertz,

Speaker 22 you know, the offensive line.

Speaker 3 veteran offensive line, two Super Bowl champs over there.

Speaker 10 Delegretty.

Speaker 10 And Andrew Wiley, baby.

Speaker 24 On top of that, they got guys like Eckler is a very savvy vet.

Speaker 28 And I think they got a lot of guys that

Speaker 3 have that confidence of I've been doing this a very long time.

Speaker 49 I know how to win.

Speaker 24 I know how to have success.

Speaker 40 And I know how to be accountable.

Speaker 36 And then you mix that in with a young quarterback that's very confident, does the work,

Speaker 3 understands a great scheme under Kingsbury.

Speaker 52 I mean, it makes sense.

Speaker 10 And he's got wide receivers all over the place making fucking big time fucking plays.

Speaker 7 Yep. I mean, obviously, McLaurin's the biggest one, but they still got Zach Ertz out there.

Speaker 10 Ertz is making fucking big plays.

Speaker 22 Big third down, big in the red zone.

Speaker 7 They're a well-balanced offense. They run the ball really well.
We were talking about Eckler. He's a great third down back.
He does some good.

Speaker 7 He'll have some good runs too, but Brian Robinson gets north and south very well. Jaden Daniels with the Reeds.

Speaker 7 And then all of a sudden, if you want to stop that Reed stuff, you got to sneak somebody down in the box to take it away. And And then they throw it over your head.

Speaker 7 They just, they are very conducive offensively.

Speaker 10 Conducive, nice.

Speaker 7 Is that the word I'm looking for?

Speaker 10 Sure.

Speaker 7 They're very.

Speaker 13 I like the way you sold me.

Speaker 7 Yeah, they're very

Speaker 7 complimentary offensively.

Speaker 7 And I think Kingsbury is doing a phenomenal job right now.

Speaker 43 Somebody's in their thethorith.

Speaker 30 No, seriously,

Speaker 40 they're hitting on all cylinders. And I'm not going to...

Speaker 28 The Lions were fucking hitting on all cylinders, too, man.

Speaker 32 That was probably the funnest of the three games, the other two games that I watched, or three games that I watched.

Speaker 7 For sure.

Speaker 52 That one was just non-stop action.

Speaker 40 It ripped my fucking heart out seeing Coach Campbell go down.

Speaker 3 And that Lions team was super fun to watch, man.

Speaker 50 But the Commanders, they earned that one, man.

Speaker 7 And what's particularly rough about the Lions losing this one is they're losing Ben Johnson. He's going to Chicago.
It's already been stated, which shout out to Chicago. Way to get a hell of a coach.

Speaker 10 We'll see.

Speaker 7 I think Aaron Glenn has said that he might leave. So,

Speaker 7 this was like the last year of this group, including the coaches, to kind of get it done. And they just got so decimated by injuries.

Speaker 7 Even as an NFC fan, I think everybody was kind of like, man, it would be kind of cool to see the Lions go win the Super Bowl this year.

Speaker 38 Yeah, no, I didn't think it was that cool.

Speaker 7 I think everybody kind of feels for, you know, what they went through as a team. And I don't know, man.
It just sucks.

Speaker 34 Losing does suck.

Speaker 45 You think the Bears, you think the Bears offensive linemen are like, dude, fuck yeah.

Speaker 21 We get fucking Ben Johnson?

Speaker 24 Dude, I'm about to start scoring some touchdowns.

Speaker 7 They got some athletic tackles now.

Speaker 10 They got some hook and laterals to their fucking tackles.

Speaker 7 Their right tackle, I remember when he was coming, I'm trying to remember his name.

Speaker 7 Oh my gosh, but he can run now. He's got some,

Speaker 7 he's a pretty athletic dude. God damn it.
What's his name?

Speaker 7 D, something with a D.

Speaker 10 D's.

Speaker 10 Nuts.

Speaker 10 Darnell Wright-Wright. Yeah, Donnell Wright.

Speaker 7 Donnell Wright-Wright. Yeah, speaking of Ben Johnson going to Chicago, there are fans out there, especially Lions fans, that are upset about them interviewing for other jobs.
That's right.

Speaker 10 Why?

Speaker 7 I think there's a perception from fans that you can't prepare your team as much as possible and interview for these coaching positions.

Speaker 10 Erroneous.

Speaker 17 Erroneous on all accounts.

Speaker 7 We dealt with something similar in Philly when we lost to you guys with Jonathan Gannon, who had went to Arizona.

Speaker 7 I think there was more involved with the Gannon thing, but I always felt like it was a reach.

Speaker 39 I lost Doug Peterson.

Speaker 40 I lost Matt Nagy.

Speaker 44 I lost.

Speaker 7 I was about to say all the best coaches.

Speaker 10 Eric Bienemi, Mike Kafka, four out of...

Speaker 45 Basically, every offensive coordinator that I've ever had has gone somewhere else, and we've still had success.

Speaker 45 You have to give those guys the opportunity to be to better on their careers, to strive for for like a new position that's the that's the honor of being one of the best in the league is that everybody gets an opportunity to take that next that next step if they get it i don't think it's the reason why the lions lost their offense put up 31 fucking points had 500 plus yards of offense like what like that wasn't it and by any means ben johnson put together a great fucking game plan Bills 27, Ravens 25,

Speaker 20 the last of the four playoff games.

Speaker 10 Did it live up to the hype? Of it did.

Speaker 7 Yep.

Speaker 30 Two of the best quarterbacks in the league duking it out

Speaker 41 for four quarters in the snow, man.

Speaker 27 Doesn't get more magical than that.

Speaker 7 No, it doesn't. It was an awesome game.
Obviously, it came down to that last drive.

Speaker 7 Everybody's talking about the Mark Andrews drop because obviously that was a two-point play that would have tied it up.

Speaker 10 Fuck, man. I will say this.

Speaker 7 Even before the drop,

Speaker 7 I was thinking in my head, like, they scored way too fast. There was over a minute 30 left.

Speaker 3 You can't control on how fast you score, though.

Speaker 7 Yes, you can. Yes, you can.

Speaker 10 You got to just

Speaker 10 score, man.

Speaker 22 When you can get a touchdown, when you're going to get a score.

Speaker 7 It's different when you need a touchdown. You need a touchdown.

Speaker 10 You got to score.

Speaker 17 You need a touchdown and a two-point touchdown.

Speaker 7 Let's say

Speaker 7 Mark Andrews catches that pass. What happens?

Speaker 16 You give yourself a chance for your defense to get a base.

Speaker 7 No, I'm just saying, what do you think would have happened?

Speaker 7 I'm not saying they did the wrong thing. I'm not saying that.

Speaker 47 I'm not going to play would have, could have, should have.

Speaker 10 I will.

Speaker 7 I think the Bills would have gone down there and kicked the field goal anyway. I'm just trying to say Mark Andrews catching that pass wouldn't have mattered.

Speaker 10 I would have loved to see what the Bills could have done with it tied up like that.

Speaker 26 You know, it's good fucking football.

Speaker 7 There's no question. Everybody wanted to.

Speaker 3 I like to see everybody playing and showing their best.

Speaker 47 Yes, thriving.

Speaker 7 One of my favorite playoff games I've ever witnessed was you guys playing Josh Allen and the Bills in the infamous comeback game with the 16 seconds or wherever the hell was up on the clock because it felt like everybody was playing so well.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 Like Josh was playing great. Pat was playing great.
That's fun football to watch. You don't ever want to watch something like that end up being the deciding factor in the game, in my opinion.

Speaker 10 It's just not as fun to watch.

Speaker 36 I'm with you.

Speaker 7 Either way, though, outstanding season for the Ravens. And Bills are going to be coming to Arrowhead next week.

Speaker 23 A lot's going to be said about how

Speaker 42 the Ravens, quote-unquote, lost that game, but the Bills fucking showed up.

Speaker 7 For sure.

Speaker 41 The Bills did it.

Speaker 40 The Bills played their tails off.

Speaker 42 27 points against that Ravens defense is fucking

Speaker 26 damn good.

Speaker 7 The Bills, yeah, the Bills are fantastic as they've been all year, especially towards the end of the year. They freaking have come on really strong.

Speaker 7 It's been inspiring watching the way this team has come together. You know, I think Josh Allen after the game,

Speaker 7 you know, you could tell, man, they feel like they've been doubted heavily this year.

Speaker 10 And they were.

Speaker 7 I mean, there was a lot of players on the offense that people had not heard of that have showed up and have. risen to the occasion.
Yeah.

Speaker 7 They play very complimentary football with the run game, with James Cook and a lot of the misdirections. The backs are really active in the passing game.
The defense showed up big.

Speaker 7 I mean, Derrick Henry didn't have a bad day, but he didn't have the big day that he did the first time around when they played these guys.

Speaker 7 And credit to those guys and Sean McDermott for figuring out a way to slow that rushing attack down a little bit. Overall, this was an awesome game between two of the best teams in the NFL.

Speaker 7 And kudos to the Bills for sure.

Speaker 37 Yeah. And I'm excited, man.

Speaker 7 We're going to get a great one this weekend.

Speaker 33 It's going to be,

Speaker 28 you know me.

Speaker 50 I love going up against the best, man.

Speaker 35 And the Bills are showing just as good as anybody in the fucking league right now.

Speaker 28 So

Speaker 50 I'm excited for it to be Championship Sunday at Arrowhead, baby.

Speaker 7 Let's go.

Speaker 21 Well, let's go ahead and talk about some previews for Sunday.

Speaker 45 The NFC Championship Commanders at Eagles.

Speaker 21 Jason, got any keys to the game or just like right off the bat?

Speaker 30 Have you ever played a team three times?

Speaker 7 Yes, I played the New York Giants three times the year that we went to the Super Bowl against you guys.

Speaker 7 What is that like?

Speaker 3 I've never played a team more than twice.

Speaker 7 It feels weird, especially when they've been three meaningful games. Like the one game we had against the Giants was kind of like we were resting guys a little bit into the playoffs.

Speaker 7 Whenever you play a team twice, you know how this works. Like the first game plays and you see what you did well, what they did well.

Speaker 7 You go into the next game prepared to either keep doing what you did well or like, you know, hey, be ready for this. If they do this again, this is how we're going to react.

Speaker 7 And now you're doing that for a third time. And it's like, man, they know know exactly what we're going to do and what our counter is.

Speaker 7 So it's always interesting to see how teams respond to a third game against each other.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 I think the Philadelphia Eagles, defensively, the key to the game, you got to stop the rushing attack.

Speaker 7 This team, I know Jaden Daniels is a great quarterback, and he's known to push the ball down the field, but I really think a lot of it is set up with the ground game, Brian Robinson, they get into a lot of manageable third and fourth down situations.

Speaker 7 And if it's manageable at all, fourth down is going to be a go-forward situation.

Speaker 7 Try and keep them out of that as much as possible.

Speaker 7 Easier said than done. They're as good as, like, they're like

Speaker 7 we've said before, complimentary team. They do a lot of things well.
They don't make mistakes. This is not a team you can go into turning the ball over and making mistakes.
They will capitalize on it.

Speaker 7 They will make you pay. Those are the big ones for me.
Obviously, offensively, I think that we can run the ball as long as

Speaker 7 we're executing everything properly.

Speaker 7 If you go back to that last game against Washington, and credit to Washington now, they adjusted well in the second half, and they really started shutting down our runs for the day.

Speaker 7 But if the Eagles take care of business and everybody does their job, I think that they should be able to have a successful day on the ground. But this is a really good team.

Speaker 7 Both of these teams are great. Dan Quinn coaches these guys so well.
They have Jonathan Allen back this time around. He's a great player.

Speaker 7 Bobby Wagner is as good of a defensive leader as you're going to find in this league. So I'm looking forward to watching it.

Speaker 7 Freaking crazy that an NFC East divisional game is going to decide the NFC champions.

Speaker 40 That's fucking nuts. I can only imagine AFC West.

Speaker 15 I can't even fathom it, man.

Speaker 32 Trying to fucking go toe-to-toe with a team that knows everything about you, man.

Speaker 7 A lot of familiarity here, and that makes a difference.

Speaker 7 I brought that up earlier. If there's one thing I think Dan does a great job of, those guys are well coached.

Speaker 7 They know what they're looking for formationally. They know what their keys are.

Speaker 7 I've always felt like no matter where he's been at, he schemes things and lets those guys operate in the scheme and teaches them well on how to react to stuff.

Speaker 7 You see it in the way that they adjusted last game, and that's a battle that's going to happen in this game.

Speaker 10 Nice.

Speaker 7 Well, AFC championship bills at Chiefs. Trav, what's the keys to the game?

Speaker 10 I'm not going to tell you those. That's fair.

Speaker 10 Yeah,

Speaker 10 I'll leave it.

Speaker 7 Can I say mine?

Speaker 10 I'll say mine. Boy, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 3 Go ahead and give me the keys to the game, Jason.

Speaker 10 Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 7 Well, I'm giving the fans. I'm not giving you the keys to the game.

Speaker 10 These are

Speaker 7 what I think 92%ers.

Speaker 26 Okay.

Speaker 7 Keys to the game.

Speaker 10 I don't know.

Speaker 10 Good call.

Speaker 17 Well, we do know this.

Speaker 3 We got a few extra weapons on offense.

Speaker 36 I think we're a little bit healthier on the defensive side.

Speaker 21 So

Speaker 10 it doesn't mean that

Speaker 21 we'll have the upper hand just because of that.

Speaker 40 You know, it's obviously these

Speaker 30 two great coach teams,

Speaker 35 two superstars at quarterback,

Speaker 40 and playmakers all over the board.

Speaker 52 The biggest thing for me is just going out there and playing my fucking tail off of these guys next to me, man.

Speaker 45 We're excited for that challenge to go up against these Bills.

Speaker 3 We know they match up very, very good with us.

Speaker 30 It's a very familiar,

Speaker 48 you know, matchup.

Speaker 49 We've seen these guys a lot. We've seen them a lot in the playoffs and in the regular season.

Speaker 54 And,

Speaker 3 you know, that being said,

Speaker 24 it's going to be a dogfight.

Speaker 7 No doubt about it. I think, obviously, James Cook is such a huge integral part of that Bills offense.

Speaker 7 You got to try and slow him down, but easier said than done. And Josh does such a great job.

Speaker 7 There's something really hard about stopping stopping a passing attack that doesn't just zero in on specific playmakers. I mean, he spreads the ball around as good as anybody else.
Yeah.

Speaker 7 And then they're well coached on defense. Come on now, Sean McDermott.
Let's go. Sean McDermott, freaking Spagnola, Andy Reed, Joe Brady.
Gosh, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 7 This is going to be a fun game.

Speaker 10 Can't wait.

Speaker 27 Fire me up, baby.

Speaker 28 Best on the best.

Speaker 10 That's what I love. All right.

Speaker 7 Before we get going with the rest of the show, it's time for Travis to duck out of here for a second because he can't be here for this next segment. It's too degenerate for him.

Speaker 42 Yeah, that's what it is. That's what it is.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 Joining me now is intern Brandon.

Speaker 10 Hey.

Speaker 10 Hey.

Speaker 60 We've only got two games this weekend.

Speaker 10 It's almost

Speaker 10 almost God. All right.

Speaker 60 Jason, I'm going to build us a single game parlay.

Speaker 10 Okay.

Speaker 10 Hit me.

Speaker 60 We're going to build a little single game parlay here

Speaker 55 looking at just the Eagles and Commanders. Got it.

Speaker 7 I got six picks.

Speaker 19 Let's whittle it down to three. What do you like better?

Speaker 60 Saquon Barkley over 100 rushing yards or Jaden Daniels two passing touchdowns?

Speaker 7 I'm picking this or you're doing this.

Speaker 19 You're the expert. You inform me.

Speaker 60 I'm thorn.

Speaker 10 I don't know.

Speaker 7 Saquon over 100.

Speaker 60 Okay. All right.
Jaden Daniel's out of here.

Speaker 10 All right. Do we like Jalen Carter over one sack or Jaden Daniels over one interception?

Speaker 20 I have a favorite, but I want to hear the expert.

Speaker 7 I mean, with the way Jalen Carter played last game, I'm going to go with Jalen Carter.

Speaker 60 All right, last pairing here.

Speaker 55 Saquon Barkley, anytime TD scorer, or Jalen Hurts, anytime TD scorer. Is he going to house one or are we tush-pushing?

Speaker 7 I'll go with Jalen Hurts anytime TD scorer.

Speaker 10 There we go.

Speaker 59 That leaves us with Saquon.

Speaker 60 over 100 yards, Jalen Carter, over one sack, and Jalen Hurts, anytime TD scorer.

Speaker 30 That is our single game parlay.

Speaker 60 That means your odds on that single game parlay are plus plus $360.

Speaker 22 Before we get out of here, let's get to some no-dumb questions.

Speaker 17 No dumb questions is brought to you by Mint Mobile.

Speaker 7 All righty, after hearing you guys talk about obscure sports on Wondery Plus exclusive, I need to know if y'all consider hobby horsing a sport. No, I do not.
I do not consider hobby horsing a sport.

Speaker 26 There's no way.

Speaker 7 I don't consider a lot of things a sport, though, that people call sports. So I'm not really, this isn't so much just a hobby horse thing.

Speaker 10 I just think that.

Speaker 36 Why is this a thing?

Speaker 7 Hobby horsing?

Speaker 10 Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7 I mean, it's, you know, there's like LARPing and, you know, this thing right here, whatever this is. I mean, there's some form involved.
I'll go. I'll go see what it's about.

Speaker 7 Hey, if Wyatt can jump over a hurdle like that with a wooden horse between her legs, that's pretty impressive. Watch this.

Speaker 10 Look at this hurdle. Yeah.

Speaker 7 I just think this is the type of stuff you open yourself to when you allow judges to be a part of sports. I just don't think judging.

Speaker 7 Sports are there's a goal scored and somebody has more points than the other team at the end of the day. I don't want to hear somebody's opinion on what my score should have been.

Speaker 7 I want to know, did I score? Is there a goal in the net? That's a point. I don't need to hear you

Speaker 10 tell me that I...

Speaker 22 I can throw this further than them.

Speaker 7 Yeah, I don't need you to tell me, was my fucking high-knee form correct or not? Get the fuck out of here.

Speaker 7 That's my only problem with this, is that it's a judge sport. Now, highest jump, listen, that's a sport.
That's a sport.

Speaker 7 The jumping, whoever could jump over the highest obstacle with a goddamn wooden horse in between your legs, I can get on that boat with being a sport.

Speaker 7 Because it's very, there's no subjectiveness to it. It's like, hey, if you jumped over the higher fucking rung, you fucking win.
There was a second part to this question.

Speaker 7 Also, who would win a hobby horsing competition between Travis, Jason, Jets, Jake, and intern Brandon?

Speaker 43 It sounds like Jason would.

Speaker 7 I don't think I would. I definitely ain't winning the jumping contest.

Speaker 3 I'm definitely not doing it.

Speaker 7 Well, then you're definitely not winning. So I guess I think

Speaker 7 it's really between me, Jets, Jake, and Intern Brandon, would you partake in this?

Speaker 10 Yeah, sure.

Speaker 10 Interim Brandon, why not hear?

Speaker 61 Oh, can you not hear me?

Speaker 10 I don't know. I can hear you.

Speaker 7 I don't know if they can. I don't know how this works sometimes.

Speaker 20 I'm recorded.

Speaker 61 We figured out that mechanism like two weeks ago. It's been pretty solid.
Yes.

Speaker 10 There we go.

Speaker 55 We're advancing the podcast at all times.

Speaker 7 Jets Jake, would you try this?

Speaker 62 Some experience. My sister did this, and it's the dumbest fucking thing ever.
She used to run around their backyard jumping over horse things. Julia, I love you.
Sorry for

Speaker 62 blowing your spot up on a national podcast.

Speaker 10 Have you ever told your sister

Speaker 16 you used to go to them?

Speaker 24 You used to have to go to competitions?

Speaker 62 No, she didn't compete in these. She just had them in our backyard and we just run over the jumps.

Speaker 7 Oh, well, if it's a kid that's in the backyard being a kid, that's one thing.

Speaker 62 She was in high school.

Speaker 10 My God.

Speaker 62 Julia, I love you.

Speaker 7 That's so good.

Speaker 24 Everybody's got their hobby.

Speaker 7 From Ashley Gunno, if Travis is El Trevidor when he has the mustache, what is his name when he has the playoff beard?

Speaker 19 Ooh, the playoff beard. I go

Speaker 19 a little less

Speaker 37 Spanish and I go more like...

Speaker 10 Nordic?

Speaker 13 Celtic.

Speaker 10 Yeah. Celtic.
Yeah.

Speaker 7 I was thinking more Viking.

Speaker 27 What did I say?

Speaker 7 Celtic. I mean, listen, the Irish people have beards too.
I feel like yours,

Speaker 7 I think it might be red beard.

Speaker 38 It's not that red.

Speaker 7 Because in the playoff mode, especially, there's like an anger that you play with.

Speaker 10 It's not that red. It's a little red.

Speaker 7 It's got some tinge to it.

Speaker 3 No, you're trying to give me more.

Speaker 7 I'm not trying to get you. I'm trying to give you.
I think it's like.

Speaker 10 It's like brown beard.

Speaker 7 I think redbeard is a great. It's not blackbeard.

Speaker 7 It's definitely not blackbeard. I don't think it's brown beard.
I think it's red beard.

Speaker 27 It's definitely brown beard.

Speaker 10 It's red beard. It's not red beard.

Speaker 7 If somebody somebody saw that beard and they were like, give it a color, they would say red beard.

Speaker 28 No, they would not.

Speaker 7 Brandon, come in here. What would you call that beard? Not like the actual color, but if you were going to nickname that beard.

Speaker 10 Let me get in.

Speaker 6 Travis, get a little closer.

Speaker 10 Come on.

Speaker 21 You get what you get.

Speaker 7 Let the light hit it too.

Speaker 10 There's red in there. There's red in there.

Speaker 10 There's red in there. Okay.
I mean, it's red beard.

Speaker 10 Yeah.

Speaker 7 I'm not shitting on you. I think it's awesome.
Redbeard is a great name.

Speaker 61 Redbeard's a good one. It sounds more.
Redbeard's more pirate. Redbeard's more pirate.
I think

Speaker 10 that's mad. Yeah, I'm not just mad at all.

Speaker 3 There's nothing wrong with someone having a red beard.

Speaker 52 I'm saying you're throwing me into a boat that I'm not in.

Speaker 14 Like there's people out here with actual red beards.

Speaker 7 Well, yeah, there's reder beards. I just think

Speaker 7 if you have any redness to your beard, you can be called red beard. Just like I can be called whitebeard,

Speaker 10 gray beard.

Speaker 7 Not yet. No.

Speaker 7 But red beards, I think, is a little bit more lenient. No.

Speaker 7 No.

Speaker 13 This is why they're all dumb questions.

Speaker 7 What is the...

Speaker 7 What's a good. I'm just thinking of good beard nicknames.
What's a good Nordic freaking...

Speaker 7 You can't look it up. Nordic for Travis.

Speaker 27 This is what I'm saying. You can't look it up.

Speaker 33 Let's just look at it, feel the energy.

Speaker 7 How do you say Travis and Norse?

Speaker 34 You did this, Brandon.

Speaker 36 I know.

Speaker 7 It might just be Travis.

Speaker 10 I fucked up.

Speaker 61 I can't leave open-ended questions in the show anymore.

Speaker 7 Viking names.

Speaker 10 What?

Speaker 29 What about Ragnar?

Speaker 10 Dude, Ragnar. Did I get it? Did I nail it? Did I nail it?

Speaker 7 Similar to Travis.

Speaker 10 It's nowhere near Travis.

Speaker 7 Translate the Travis.

Speaker 10 God damn it, Jason.

Speaker 28 Celtic.

Speaker 61 God damn it.

Speaker 43 Jason's stuck.

Speaker 38 He's in a wormhole.

Speaker 50 He doesn't get out of these these things.

Speaker 42 You did this.

Speaker 61 I know. Every week I do this, and

Speaker 61 I reflect upon this. I'm like, never do that again.

Speaker 61 Tomislav, the first king of Croatia.

Speaker 36 Travis Slav?

Speaker 10 Travislav.

Speaker 7 Travislav? Good. Travis Slav.
I mean, we're Slavic.

Speaker 10 Oh, fuck.

Speaker 61 You got there, Travis. Thank you.

Speaker 7 Travis Slav.

Speaker 62 Travislav.

Speaker 7 Travislav.

Speaker 44 When you say it like that, it actually...

Speaker 10 Travislav!

Speaker 8 There it is.

Speaker 27 You have to say it more Russian.

Speaker 10 Why Russian?

Speaker 29 Say it more, Arnold.

Speaker 7 Travislav.

Speaker 10 There it is.

Speaker 47 Travislav.

Speaker 7 Travislav.

Speaker 7 That's good. That's real good.

Speaker 42 That's funny as fuck.

Speaker 7 All right, I think we figured it out. That's it for no dumb questions brought to you by Mint Mobile, the smart answer to saving money on premium wireless.
