Welcome to an HBO podcast from the HBO Late Night Series, Real Time with Bill Ma.
Hi, everybody.
Well, the news this week is all about Michael Cohen.
You've seen Michael Cohen.
He looks like the guy who shares space with a palm reader.
That's his office.
But we found out that, you know, he only has three clients.
One is Trump, and we found out this week the third one, Sean Hannity.
I was shocked that Trump and Hannity share a lawyer.
I thought Hannity was Trump's lawyer.
But yeah, and apparently Sean Hannity now is denying that he ever took any money from or paid Michael Cohen in any way.
He said, I may have handed him 10 bucks at a party.
Really?
What a compliment to a lawyer, huh?
It's like seeing a doctor at a party.
Doc, would you look up my ass?
Here's 10 bucks.
You could step into the powder room.
But
Trump finally acknowledged Stormy Daniels in a tweet the other day.
And get this, his popularity with evangelicals is now at an all-time high.
Yes,
since the goons started threatening the porn stars, his popularity with evangelicals has only gone up.
Apparently, Jesus Christ is short for Jesus Christ.
What is wrong with you people?
No, but Trump, he's such a vulgar guy, isn't he?
I mean, Barbara Bush died this week, and he tweeted, and I thought Jeb was low energy.
He also acknowledged his catchphrase, which is, we'll see what happens.
He was talking about North Korea, he said, we'll see what happens, as I always say.
Could there be a less presidential catchphrase than we'll see what happens?
You might as well replace the presidential seal with the shrugging emoji guy.
Truman's slogan was, the buck stops here.
Trump says, I wonder where the buck is going.
But the headlines this week are all about Starbucks.
Two African-American men were arrested there.
They were charged with waiting while black.
And one of of the guys was a customer he said there for eight years.
And he said he's going to keep being a customer there until they get his name right on the cup.
So Starbucks has announced that May 29th, that is the day they're going to have their racial bias training, closing all the stores.
This will affect 8,000 Starbucks franchises, 175,000 employees, and 4 million unemployed screenwriters.
All right, thank you very much.
