Speaker 4 I didn't think the pain from the shingles rash would affect simple, everyday tasks like bathing, getting dressed, or even walking around. I was wrong.
Speaker 4 Though not everyone at risk will develop it, 99% of people over the age of 50 already have the virus that causes shingles, and it could reactivate at any time.
Speaker 4
I developed it, and the blistering rash lasted for weeks. Don't learn the hard way, like I did.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist today. Sponsored by GSK.
Speaker 5 God bless football, football, Mikey A.
Speaker 1 God bless football, Fuentes.
Speaker 6 God bless football, Billy Gill.
Speaker 5
Hey, thank you guys. Dugats is on assignment.
He'll be joining us probably never. So we'll talk to him soon.
We'll see how that goes exactly. We have an exciting show today.
Speaker 5 Was my energy better on that one, Mikey? It was so much better.
Speaker 1 Like, I'm ready to go now. And then I faked it.
Speaker 1
Dugat stuff. That's okay.
It's okay to fake it.
Speaker 5 Well,
Speaker 5 there's been a lot of mishaps this morning in the Gill household that that I was telling Mikey
Speaker 5
about involving dogs and humans and just vomit and fevers and what have you. But hey, you don't care about me or my life.
So we're here to talk about some football. We have some segments that...
Speaker 1
What's that, Mikey Hay? I just said football because you said football. Okay, good.
By the way,
Speaker 5
Kabos Football is presented by DraftKings. The crown is yours.
So I have a segment that I want to debut today.
Speaker 5 And it is called, because it's this time of year, it's a very special time of year.
Speaker 5 I know that you guys right now are probably, you know, knee-deep in brackets and March madness and college basketball. So like we appreciate you guys coming and
Speaker 5 joining us on God Bless Football. I have a game that's called
Speaker 5 God Bless Football's Bracket Bonanza.
Speaker 1 I love a good bonanza.
Speaker 5 Yeah, it's a bracket bonanza, and we're going to be playing GBF's inaugural bracket bonanza next segment. So we're not going to get to bracket bonanza this segment.
Speaker 5 We're going to get to it next segment. We also have a game called Will It Pass, which could be about anything, and
Speaker 5 a new round of More Mikely. So fun show today.
Speaker 5 I want to start things off, though, as we do every week, with our favorite game called Here's a Headline.
Speaker 5 So for those of you who are new to the program, this is how Here's a Headline works.
Speaker 5 I will say, here's a headline, and then I will give you a headline, and then I will discuss, and Mike Ye will discuss, and Mike Fuentes will discuss.
Speaker 5 And Stu Gats when he joins us he will discuss Mike Ye will say here's a headline and then he will give a headline and then we will go around and round until we've filled out enough time for the first segment to be over and that's how here's a headline works so all right here's a headline okay ready I didn't ask you already ready
Speaker 1 ready I am ready here's a headline
Speaker 5 the Vikings have said, you know what?
Speaker 5 I think we're going to see this through with JJ McCarthy, at least through spring practice, and then we'll reassess the quarterback situation and decide whether or not we need to make a move and whether or not we're interested in Aaron Rodgers, which is an interesting decision.
Speaker 5 And it now kind of puts everybody in a predicament because Aaron Rodgers has said that his preference is to go to Minnesota and that if he didn't go there, he might retire or he might go to Pittsburgh or he might go to New York.
Speaker 5 And we're trying to figure that out. But in the meantime, the Steelers have just been waiting to see what it is that Aaron Rodgers does.
Speaker 5 The Giants have been waiting to see what it is that Aaron Rodgers does. The Giants might trade up to get the number one pick in the draft and draft Cam Ward.
Speaker 5 So they don't know what they're going to do at the quarterback position.
Speaker 5 And right now, it seems like the Vikings are calling all the shots and they've decided we're going to kind of put everyone on hold right now while we figure out whether or not we like J.J.
Speaker 5 McCarthy, who was our first round draft pick last season and then got injured. and we didn't know what to do with him.
Speaker 5
So we signed Sam Darnold, which he had already been signed, but he was their backup. He became their starter.
They lost him to the Seahawks.
Speaker 5 So if you've been living under a rock, now you kind of know what's been going on football in Minnesota for the past year or so. So headline,
Speaker 5 we're kind of just going to play the waiting game now with Minnesota and see what they got to do. And Aaron Rodgers needs to maybe make a decision or maybe not.
Speaker 1 It sounds like everybody is learning what the Aaron Rodgers at the end of his Green Bay tenure was like, which is a whole lot of wishy-washy. It's a whole lot of maybe, I don't know.
Speaker 1
We didn't get this as bad as the play was on the field. We didn't get this with the Jets.
He was always in. He was always all in.
Speaker 1 And
Speaker 1 this is probably just as frustrating because if you're a Steelers fan right now, what are your other options? You burned the bridge with Russell Wilson. There is no other quarterback that can possibly
Speaker 1 make you a decent contender right now. It's not
Speaker 1 Jameis Winston. Well, listen, Jameis Winston, Jameis Winston with DK Metcalf and George Pickens
Speaker 1
might be the like. I would watch hard knocks every episode if they just followed them around.
Like all I want is that. So
Speaker 1 if you're a Steelers fan, I don't know what your other option is but to sit around and wait for Aaron Rodgers to decide whether or not he wants to come.
Speaker 5 To your point about Aaron Rodgers, I don't think there's a team he's ever been more committed to than the Jets.
Speaker 5 Even the end of his relationship with the Jets, he wanted to stay and they didn't want him, which is the weirdest thing ever. Like, Green Bay is like, I don't know about Green Bay anymore.
Speaker 5 I'm tired of being there. Jets, he loves.
Speaker 5 He really wants to go to Minnesota for some reason, but they don't really want him.
Speaker 5 Do you even want, like, if you're the Steelers, I know this is going to sound crazy, but if you're the Steelers or the Giants, where you've basically been told, like, I don't really want to go there unless I absolutely have to.
Speaker 5 Like, is that who you want kind of in your locker room because as it is there's already all the other stuff that comes with aaron rogers where it's like is he a distraction is he this is he that and now you have an aaron who's not necessarily even entirely committed to being there the whole time
Speaker 1
I mean, you do because you don't have another option. Yeah.
Your other option is Mason Rudolph. And like, you know, thanks, but
Speaker 1 I'd rather just wait this out.
Speaker 5 Yeah.
Speaker 1 All right.
Speaker 5 Well, that was that headline.
Speaker 1 Mikey, do you have a headline?
Speaker 1 I do.
Speaker 1 There is a certain quarterback who is flying up draft boards right now. Mel Kuyper has Jackson Dart out of all miss
Speaker 1 going 12th to the Saints. This is the highest I've seen him picked.
Speaker 1 I think it's absolutely bonkers for Mel to even consider the Saints taking a quarterback right now, let alone Jackson Dart, who might not be a second round pick, you know, talent-wise.
Speaker 1
But they are committed next year to Derek Carr for a $69 million cap hit. Like, you cannot be drafting your quarterback of the future with that.
price tag waiting for next year. You can't do it.
Speaker 1 Like there's no point in paying and there's no getting out of the Derek Carr because what you kept doing was you kept pushing the cap it and pushing the cap it until eventually it's all going to come to
Speaker 1 a head next year with $69 million.
Speaker 1 And I just don't see how you can take a quarterback and do anything other than bench him for two years. Then why take it? Why not wait till next year and see what else you can get?
Speaker 5 Is this, how does this compare in your opinion to what the Falcons did last year
Speaker 5 after signing Kirk Cousins, giving him a big deal, and then drafting Michael Penix right after.
Speaker 1 So I think when they drafted Michael Penix, they knew that going into this draft class, it was not going to be a very good,
Speaker 1
it was not going to be a very good draft class. So they wanted to make sure while they had an opportunity to get a guy, they could.
They were also a little worried about Michael Pennix's medicals.
Speaker 1 He had a lot of injuries in college. So they wanted him to sit and to
Speaker 1 and to learn a little bit.
Speaker 1 At the end of 2026,
Speaker 1 the Falcons can get out of the Kirk Cousins business for $45 million.
Speaker 1 I realize that's still a big hit, but it's not almost $70 million.
Speaker 1 Like $70 million
Speaker 1 is an entire defensive line if you play your cards right.
Speaker 1 So
Speaker 1 I think it's a little bit
Speaker 1 similar, but the Falcons thought they were going to need Kirk Cousins longer than they do.
Speaker 5 Yeah.
Speaker 1 All right.
Speaker 5 Where do you see Shadur going? I know that's not the game that we're playing, but Jackson Dart is flying up the boards. Where is Shadur going to go?
Speaker 1 I don't see how the Giants pass on a quarterback. The only,
Speaker 1 the question becomes: do the Giants move up to one for Cam Ward?
Speaker 1 I mean, I'm sure there's still some questions in Tennessee if they're going to take the quarterback. They could take Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter and
Speaker 1 be run
Speaker 1 back one year with Will Levis, but I don't see how Shadora goes past the Giants, especially if Cam Ward goes number one overall.
Speaker 5 Do we think that Will Levis is going to go on the redemption tour at some point? Like, he's not going to be the long-term solution in Tennessee, but is he going to have like a
Speaker 5 Sam Darnold, Geno Smith-type year somewhere? Or is a team going to convince themselves that they can do that with Will Levis and give him a shot?
Speaker 1
I don't. I mean, I don't see it.
I don't see Will Levis having this redemption tour because I just don't think he's that good. I think
Speaker 1 he can't get out of his own way. I think Will Levis is much more likely to go the Jameis Winston tour, where it's like
Speaker 1
he's going to go back somebody up. He's going to come in.
He's going to be like, oh, yeah, that guy. He's so good.
Oh, look what he just did. Never mind.
Speaker 5 I feel like we laugh at Jameis Winston a lot. Jameis Winston,
Speaker 5 so he's only 31, but I see a world in which Jameis Winston, I mean, he's been in the league already 10 years. Jameis Winston can easily be like a 17-year NFL vet, I think.
Speaker 1 Oh, yeah.
Speaker 5 Like very easily.
Speaker 1 Make no mistake about it.
Speaker 1 The number one quarterback I wanted for the New York Jets going into this offseason was Jameis Winston.
Speaker 1
That was who I wanted because I figured if we're going to be bad, we might as well be entertaining. And Jameis, Jameis has got all the talent in the world.
He just has to get out of his own way.
Speaker 5 Yeah.
Speaker 5 Zach Wilson was introduced this week to the Dolphins. Ugh.
Speaker 1 Had that go.
Speaker 5 It was, you know, I think that they were expecting it to be something not the best. Ooh, by the way, also,
Speaker 5 here's a quick headline because I think Mike Fuentes is going to get to it, but we're running out of time this segment. Here's a headline.
Speaker 5 The Cincinnati Bengals decided to give all of their money to their two receivers.
Speaker 5 They've not learned anything, and they're going to have two receivers making $80 billion a year.
Speaker 1 And they're going to trade their one player on defense that was worth anything because they paid their wide receivers and their quarterback all of the money. All of it.
Speaker 5 Yeah. Well, you know what? That might come into play next segment.
Speaker 5 We play a brand new game when we come back.
Speaker 5 Called God Bless Football's Bracket Ponanza.
Speaker 4 I didn't think the pain from the shingles rash would affect simple everyday tasks like bathing, getting dressed, or even walking around.
Speaker 5 and we're back so it's been a while uh it's been a while since i've done that but it's been a while since we've introduced a new segment on this show we pretty much just play the same segments every week more mikely winners and losers during the season
Speaker 5 headlines you know all the segments that we do so i'm really excited about this and i've been waiting to do this specifically for march sadness just because it's bracket themed it's called god bless footballs brackets bonanza
Speaker 5 and i haven't really given you guys a ton of information on how this works just yet but we're gonna play it as a group today so mikey myself mike fuentes
Speaker 5 uh GQ, if he wants to play, is allowed to play as well. So you're excited about this.
Speaker 1 Like you have been since I saw the light bulb pop on just before we started recording and you're like, I have an idea.
Speaker 5
Yeah, I have a good idea. It's called God Bless Football's Brackets Bonanza.
And this is how it works. And I feel like you guys are going to misunderstand how it works originally.
Speaker 5 And I'm going to have to clear things up, but I'm going to shoot you straight. So this is how God Bless Football's Bracket Bonanza works.
Speaker 5 Because and in honor of March Madness going on presently, I think what we could do here today is we can construct a bracket style tournament with the AFC teams and the NFC teams.
Speaker 5 And what we'll do is we're going to seed them one through seven.
Speaker 5 The one seed will get a buy, and then we will have the five face off against the four, the six against the three, the seven against the two, and like that.
Speaker 5 One side will be the AFC, the other side will be the NFC, and then we're going to kind of go bracket style, have them competing against each other, and then decide an ultimate winner of God god bless football's brackets bonanza okay isn't this just called the playoffs well some people would say that but this is different there's a very big difference and this is this is why it's different okay in the playoffs there's reseeding in god bless football's brackets bonanza there is not like not reseeding but you realign the matchup so that the highest seed always faces the lowest seed etc not how it's going to work today not in brackets bonanza the one seed gets a buy and the one seed i hate to say it gonna play the winner the five and four the winner the six and three playing the seven and two so on and so forth so what we're gonna have to do here collectively myself mikey a mike fuentes some people would say is this the season ended today no this is god bless football's brackets bonanza so sure what we're gonna have to do first is we're gonna have to seed the different conferences so
Speaker 5 I would like to suggest, and I don't know if you guys feel as strongly as I do, but I think we should start in the AFC.
Speaker 5 I want to make a suggestion for the one seed seed and see if it's okay with you guys, if that's all right.
Speaker 1 All right. Okay.
Speaker 5 I want to pencil in the bills at the one seed next season, I think.
Speaker 1
Okay, next season. Next season? Okay.
Yeah. Okay.
Speaker 5 Well, well, what were you thinking?
Speaker 1 Well, I mean, the Chiefs were 15 and 2 this year. The Chiefs were, but we're...
Speaker 1 Well, we're into next season.
Speaker 6 Yeah, we're looking ahead here. We're looking ahead
Speaker 6 ahead.
Speaker 5 Do you guys have any issues with me penciling the bills in as a one seed?
Speaker 1 No.
Speaker 1 Okay.
Speaker 5 So the bills are going to get the buy in brackets bonanza.
Speaker 5 Would you like to have any suggestions on seedings or anything of the like? Or do you want me to just keep suggesting? And if we have any differences of opinions, we'll work on different things.
Speaker 6 I like the suggesting.
Speaker 6 I like the suggestion.
Speaker 1 I'm going to say the Chiefs got to be the two seed.
Speaker 6 I might even have an opinion.
Speaker 1 Just out of respect, like the Chiefs got to be the two seed, right?
Speaker 5 Well, I was going to go Baltimore two-seed Chiefs three seed, but,
Speaker 5 you know.
Speaker 1 No, that's fine.
Speaker 1
We can do the Chiefs. We'll do Chiefs.
That's what I'll do.
Speaker 5 We'll do Chiefs two.
Speaker 5 You want to do Ravens three,
Speaker 5 or do we think maybe the Chargers are going to make a run here?
Speaker 1 Nope. I like the Ravens at three.
Speaker 5 Ravens at three.
Speaker 5 Okay.
Speaker 5 Who do we like at four?
Speaker 5 Do we have faith that the Texans will bounce back? Are the Chargers going to come up swinging? The Steelers don't have a quarterback right now. I don't know where we're going to put them.
Speaker 1 That was going to be my question. Do they get Aaron Rodgers?
Speaker 1 Well,
Speaker 5 this isn't if the season ended today.
Speaker 1
So we just rejected. I'm going off board.
I'm going off board. Yeah.
Speaker 1 The Bengals.
Speaker 6 The Bengals.
Speaker 6 I was going to say, they have Joe Burrow. I like the Bengals.
Speaker 6 They have two very rich receivers.
Speaker 6 Let's go with the Bengal.
Speaker 5 All right. We could put the Bengals there.
Speaker 5 I was flirting with the Bengals, not even making the bracket, but that's
Speaker 5 the Bengals a four seed. That's fine.
Speaker 6 Yeah, the Bengals, they at the very least next year, they'll be fun.
Speaker 6 You know, they'll have to have to score 50 to win every game, but they'll be fun.
Speaker 5 Texans, do we see the Texans in here anywhere?
Speaker 1 I have the Texans off the board. Off the board.
Speaker 1 Their whole problem last year was they couldn't protect C.J. Stroud, and then all they did was get rid of their two best linemen
Speaker 1
and sign a one, yeah, like a one-year stopgap at left tackle. So I just don't see the Texans having a good year.
C.J.
Speaker 1 Stroud is going to is going to develop the yips if he, if he's getting hit on every play.
Speaker 1 Here's my question for brackets bonanza. Do we have to have an AFC South team?
Speaker 5 No, sure. Why not? No.
Speaker 1
I love that. I love that about this.
I love that about this. Then I'm going to the Chargers at five.
Speaker 5 Chargers at five. Okay.
Speaker 5 And then we have two slots left. You don't want anyone in the AFC South, you have said.
Speaker 6 I kind of like the Broncos. I like the Broncos, and I'd probably say just because of the great unknown,
Speaker 6 probably the Steelers.
Speaker 1
All right, I'm going to go off board a little bit. I'm going to throw it.
I just want to throw it out there. Not saying it should be.
I'm just throwing it out there.
Speaker 1 The Patriots. Wow.
Speaker 5 Okay.
Speaker 5 I like the Patriots in just because of the unknown. So then do we leave out the Broncos or do we leave out the
Speaker 5 Steelers?
Speaker 6 Steelers.
Speaker 1 Steelers.
Speaker 5
Broncos are in at six, and then at seven, we will put in the Patriots. Now we're going to hop over the NFC real quick before Brackett Sponanzas really gets interesting.
Okay.
Speaker 5 So at the one seed in the NFC,
Speaker 5 who are we liking?
Speaker 1 I mean, it's hard to say.
Speaker 1 It's hard to go against the Eagles.
Speaker 1 They lost
Speaker 1 their third d tackle their second d tackle they they've still got like
Speaker 1 a lot of draft capital they all right so we'll make some good moves i'm gonna say that eagles two seed
Speaker 6 can i sneak a commanders in there i was gonna say i like i like the commanders i like it i like it okay we're gonna sneak the commanders in at the two seed
Speaker 5 the lions how far will the lions fall
Speaker 1 i have them
Speaker 1 borderline in i have them as a seven. I have them as a seven.
Speaker 5
Okay, I like that. Wow.
Okay, Lions at seven.
Speaker 1 Packers
Speaker 5 step up this season?
Speaker 6 Fears?
Speaker 6 Bears? I think I have the Bears. I think I have the Packers, a Lola, to be honest.
Speaker 5 Really? Okay, where do you have the Bears? At three?
Speaker 1
No, not at three. Not a three.
You still got Tampa Bay. And Baker Mayfield will always.
Speaker 6 And the Vikings are still going to be okay. Like, I think.
Speaker 5 You want to put the...
Speaker 1 Okay.
Speaker 5 Why don't we put the bears at five?
Speaker 6 Can I can I can I do something real quick?
Speaker 6 Everybody's so low on the Vikings, but then everybody almost hated Sam Darnold, so now they get rid of Sam Darnold and then we hold it against the Vikings, even though nobody thought that Sam Darnold was that great.
Speaker 6 Right?
Speaker 6 Am I wrong?
Speaker 5 I plugged in the Bucs at three, the Bears at five, so we need a four and a six. We still have the Rams, we still have the Vikings.
Speaker 5 Sam Darnold, is he gonna be the answer in Seattle? Michael Pennix's gonna lead the Falcons all season.
Speaker 1 Cowboys San Francisco lost their entire team.
Speaker 5
Yeah, 49ers are out of it. Sorry, 49ers fans.
So we have two slots left, the four and the six. What are we thinking?
Speaker 1 Give the Rams the six.
Speaker 6 I want the Rams in there.
Speaker 6 I'm an LA guy. Put the Rams in.
Speaker 1 And then I'll let Fuentes pick the NFC North team he wants for them.
Speaker 6
I'm telling you, the Rams, I love a Devontae Adams signing. I think you're going to see...
A really good year from them next year.
Speaker 5 We have them at six already, so we need a four.
Speaker 6 Vikings.
Speaker 5
Vikings. Okay.
All right. I like how we go from the Vikings won't make the playoffs.
They're four seed. That's fine.
Speaker 6
No, I just don't understand. Like, nobody likes Sam Darnold there.
He wins 14 games. Then they get rid of Sam Darnold, and then we still don't like the Vikings.
Speaker 6
So they got rid of the part that nobody liked, and then this guy's supposed to be better. I don't know.
It's weird.
Speaker 1
All right. I dare you, sir.
I'm just saying.
Speaker 5 So now that we have our teams and our brackets seated, it's time to play Bracket Bonanza.
Speaker 5 All right, so we're going to head to the AFC, and we're going to have the five and the four matchup, the Chargers against the Bengals.
Speaker 5 Who do we like?
Speaker 1 Chargers.
Speaker 5 Really?
Speaker 1 Wow.
Speaker 1 Okay.
Speaker 1 I was leaving Bengals.
Speaker 1 Fuentes, you're the deciding vote. Yeah.
Speaker 5 He is an LA guy.
Speaker 6 Yeah, but the Chargers' offense isn't that great, but then the Bengals defense. Chargers aren't that great.
Speaker 6 Yeah, it sucks.
Speaker 6
I'm going to go Chargers. All right.
Their defense is better.
Speaker 6 Yeah.
Speaker 5
All right. We then have the Broncos and the Ravens.
Number six to number three seeds. The Broncos and the Ravens.
Speaker 5 I love Brackett Bonanza.
Speaker 6 Ravens.
Speaker 1 I'm going Broncos.
Speaker 6 Wow.
Speaker 1
I'm going to go Broncos too. Broncos.
Baltimore. Baltimore in the playoffs, man.
Speaker 6
Baltimore in the playoffs. Believe-in bow.
Wow.
Speaker 5 Okay, then we have the number seven Patriots against the number two Chiefs. Chiefs.
Speaker 1 chiefs it is okay fine we'll move on with the chiefs very quickly you hated that i got the patriots in there didn't you fuentes you hated that yeah i'm not a drake may guy no it's all dough
Speaker 5 heading over to the other side we have the nfc we have the five seed bears against the four seed vikings
Speaker 5 bears bears okay fuentes
Speaker 6 i don't know those two quarterbacks can't trust uh
Speaker 5
one of them has a better offensive line i'm putting down the bears because Bear down Billy, so that's two out of three. So we're going to just keep him.
Of course, Rams and Bucs.
Speaker 5 Fuentes is a noted LA guy.
Speaker 6 Big Rams, big on the Rams. Let's go.
Speaker 1 Big on the Bucks.
Speaker 6
Big on the Bucs. You know what? I was surprised, Mikey, now that you said that.
I'm surprised they re-signed Godwin.
Speaker 6
I thought he was for sure done there after the injuries and how much it was going to cost. I'm surprised that they brought him back.
He's a great player. Don't get me wrong.
Speaker 6 I just didn't think they were going to
Speaker 6 money-wise and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 So it's on you.
Speaker 5 I don't like the exciting vote.
Speaker 5 I'm going to put the Rams.
Speaker 5 I like the Bucs better.
Speaker 1 Oh, no.
Speaker 5 I like the Bucks better, but I feel like Baker is always capable of having a Baker game, and that might be the game.
Speaker 6 It's funny how you say he can have a Baker game, and yet that goes both ways.
Speaker 1 Yeah, exactly right.
Speaker 5 And then we have the number seven Lions against the number two Commanders in a big revenge game.
Speaker 1 that game's in Washington.
Speaker 6 Yeah, the higher seed, yeah.
Speaker 1 Give me the commanders. Give me the commanders.
Speaker 6
Wow. So it might be Jaden Daniels.
Continues ascending. Debo Smith here.
Speaker 5
It might be the end of the road for the Lions if you're basing it on the results of Brackett Bonanza. Okay, headed back to the AFC.
We now have the teams that had buys in play.
Speaker 5 So the number one seed Bills are going to take on the number five seed Chargers.
Speaker 1
I love that matchup. Oh, man.
I love that matchup.
Speaker 1
Give me the upset. Give me the upset.
Give me the Chargers.
Speaker 5 Wow, Fuentes.
Speaker 6 I don't trust Herbert.
Speaker 1
Do it. No, I don't trust Herbert.
But you trust Josh Allen in the playoffs?
Speaker 6 Yeah. I mean, the only person he can't beat him.
Speaker 1 I should say it's not Josh Allen. Let's just say you trust the Bills in the playoffs.
Speaker 6
I'm going to take Josh. He just sold it for me.
I'm going to take Josh Allen over Justin Herbert every time. So there you go.
Yeah.
Speaker 5 I went Bills too. Sorry, Mikey.
Speaker 1 I tried. I tried.
Speaker 6 You're very enthusiastic.
Speaker 5 Broncos against the number two Chiefs.
Speaker 6 Number two Chiefs. The Chiefs.
Speaker 1 Oh, I was going to go Broncos. Okay.
Speaker 1
Number two Chiefs. No.
No.
Speaker 6 I can't have the one white seat against the two seeds. I know, but
Speaker 6 I can't go Josh Allen over Justin Herbert and then be like, oh, yeah, Bo Nick's over Mahomes. That makes Bo Nick.
Speaker 1 That is very good reasoning by you. Okay.
Speaker 5 We have the number one Eagles against the number five Bears over the NFC. Brackets Bonanza is so fun.
Speaker 1
I'm going to go the upset again. I'm going to go to the upset again.
Okay. Super Bowl, Super Bowl, like too many playoff games for too long.
Bears need it.
Speaker 1
They got a change of everything. They got a brand new offense.
Ben Johnson. Yeah.
I'm going to stop the Tushbuns.
Speaker 6 Yes. And I'm going to say Stugatz was right, but one year late, and the Bears are going to the big game.
Speaker 1 Nice. The Jets make it.
Speaker 6
Yes. Bears.
Okay.
Speaker 5 The number six Rams against the number two Commanders.
Speaker 1 Commanders.
Speaker 5 Buentes?
Speaker 6 Rams.
Speaker 5 Oh, God. All right.
Speaker 1 I'm going to go Commanders.
Speaker 5 Yeah, James.
Speaker 5
This is great. Okay.
Then we head to the AFC Championship game of Brackett Sponanza. We have the number one Bills against the number two Chiefs.
Speaker 1
Guys, history. History.
It's the Chiefs. Okay.
Speaker 5 Buentes? Yeah, it's the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 Oh, Oh, I was going to go Bills.
Speaker 5 All right. So the Chiefs are back in it again.
Speaker 6 What is that?
Speaker 5 And then we have the five-seated Bears against the two-seated Commanders.
Speaker 1 Guys, Buentes, I'll give you the first shot.
Speaker 6 Okay. I'm going to say the Bears because the ultimate conflict, Bear Down Billy versus Chiefs, Kingdom Billy in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 5 Oh, I don't like that.
Speaker 1 I'm going Commanders.
Speaker 5 Oh, I mean, what are you guys doing to me?
Speaker 1 Exactly what you do to Stew Gods every week.
Speaker 1 Making him be the deciding vote.
Speaker 5 I'm going to go commanders.
Speaker 1 Wow. Commanders versus Chiefs.
Speaker 5
I think the Bears might be a year. They're a year away from being a year away, maybe.
Or they're just a year away. I don't know.
Whatever that saying is.
Speaker 5
So we have a battle of two seeds here in the championship for Bracketts Bonanza. The number two seeded Chiefs against the number two seeded Commanders.
Who do we like?
Speaker 1 You'd be the Chiefs.
Speaker 5 Okay, Fuentes.
Speaker 6
Yeah, the Chiefs. The Chiefs.
It's the Chiefs.
Speaker 3 Ask me commanders.
Speaker 5 All right. Well, regardless, so
Speaker 5 congratulations to the Chiefs. I mean, they didn't three Pete.
Speaker 5 They're not necessarily going to the Super Bowl next year, but that was God Bless Football's Brackett's Bonanza and our winner, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 1 Nice. We'll be back.

Speaker 5 Mikey Fuentes, it dawned on me in the break,
Speaker 5 and I don't know how the fans felt about bracket bonanza, but if you liked God Bless Football's Bracket Bonanza, reach out to us on social media.
Speaker 5 Also, by the way, I will say this: God Blessed Football has its own feed for podcasts and such.
Speaker 5 And if you're used to getting us on the Lebatard show feed, I would suggest following the God Blessed Football feed just because you can get the show there and then maybe
Speaker 5
additional stuff there in the near future. Just if you can and you like what we do, please follow the God Blessed Football feed moving forward.
So aside from that,
Speaker 5 it dawned on me that
Speaker 5 March Madness is not going to be over this week. So maybe if Brackett's Bonanza was well received, we can play a new edition of Brackett's Bonanza next week and see how that goes.
Speaker 1 But
Speaker 1 you know what? I might pick completely different teams next week just because
Speaker 1 I was kind of shooting from the hip.
Speaker 1 Maybe next week I think it out a little bit and I'm like, oh, you know what? I do like this matchup better.
Speaker 5 Let's not tip our hand on Brackett's Bonanza next week. If we get to Brackett's Bonanza next week, we'll get to Brackett's Bonanza next week.
Speaker 1 Don't ruin
Speaker 5 any potential surprise.
Speaker 1 I got you. I got you.
Speaker 5
I got you. Also, follow the Godbless Football feed.
So
Speaker 5
here's a new game, and it is presented by Smirnoff, the world's number one vodka. Please drink responsibly.
Thank you to Smirnoff, by the way. They've been great partners.
Speaker 1 So
Speaker 5 if you want to listen to us and you love Smirnoff, follow our Godbless Football feed. We're also going to be doing a draft watch-along for the first round in Nashville.
Speaker 5 So if you want to go check us out there, we're going to be doing that live in Nashville, I think. Live in Nashville.
Speaker 1 Nashville Sports Social, right?
Speaker 5 I didn't say because I wasn't 100% sure. I was going to say details to come on exactly where we're going to be, but we will be in Nashville for the draft on Thursday night.
Speaker 5 So if you're in the area, if you want to say hi to us,
Speaker 5 you know, go by and say hi to us in Nashville for the first round of the draft. And hopefully the Titans keep that pick because if not, we're in Nashville regardless.
Speaker 5 And we're just going to be enjoying the draft from a bar.
Speaker 1 There are worse places to be, there are worse places to be, you know.
Speaker 5
Like, come hang out with us in Nashville. Hopefully, they have the number one pick, and that makes sense.
If not, we're just gonna be hanging out in Nashville.
Speaker 5 And whenever the Titans pick, we'll celebrate or we won't, or whatever.
Speaker 1 So, Billy, are we gonna go? Are we gonna go out in Nashville? Are we like, are we gonna, like, are we gonna go line dancing or something? Like, are we gonna go get go get crazy?
Speaker 5 I'm trying to figure that out, right? I want to, well, the last couple times that we've done these things, they've been very in and out trips for me.
Speaker 5 So when we went to Kansas City for opening night, I was in Kansas City for
Speaker 5 from check-in to check out of the hotel,
Speaker 5
it was less than 24 hours. Chicago was the same thing.
I was in and out of Chicago for our watch-along in Chicago. Arizona, it turned into a family trip.
So I was there a couple extra days. Nashville,
Speaker 5
I'll be honest with you. I had conversations with my wife.
I was like, you have any interest in going to Nashville, taking the channel?
Speaker 1 I'm trying to do the same thing to Nashville.
Speaker 5
See if anyone wanted to make a little family trip out of it. I haven't gotten a bite yet.
So
Speaker 5 I'm thinking maybe
Speaker 5
hanging out. Sorry about that.
I think maybe we're going to be hanging out a little bit, Mikey, in Nashville. Maybe get in there
Speaker 5 mid-Wednesday or so, paint the town tight and blue.
Speaker 5 On Wednesday.
Speaker 5
Oh, yeah. We can go take a picture with those wings that that exist.
We can wear some cowboy hats or whatever. Maybe some boots.
Just kind of go to the honky tonks. Are there honky tonks yet, right?
Speaker 1 There are honky tonks. They're good honky talks.
Speaker 5 Go to some honky tonks and just kind of enjoy Nashville. Fuentes, you're welcome to attend all these honky tonks and all these parties with us.
Speaker 6 I very much like Nashville. One time I'm going to...
Speaker 5 Keep it on the download. We don't want too many people watching.
Speaker 6 That's a good point. We're going to go get some Hattie B's Nashville hot chicken.
Speaker 6
Okay. We've got to do some of that.
A little honky tonk, walk down Broadway, maybe buy myself a ridiculously expensive cowboy hat or a pair of cowboy boots. Maybe both.
Who knows?
Speaker 5 There you go.
Speaker 1 All right.
Speaker 5 Maybe I do that. I wear it to the draft party the next day and maybe get the old expense.
Speaker 1 I was going to say, maybe we could expense a nice hat? Yeah.
Speaker 5
See exactly what we're going to do there. Anyways, here's a new game.
It's called Will It Pass. Mikey,
Speaker 5 there have been a lot of rules proposals this week, not to spoil this.
Speaker 1 Best time of the year. You've been collecting it.
Speaker 5 And the way that this segment's going to work is you are going to be presenting things and then ask us, Will It Pass?
Speaker 6
Question, though, though, Billy. Yeah.
Who's this segment brought to us by?
Speaker 5 Ah, great question. This segment is presented by Spearnoff.
Speaker 5 The world's number one vodka. Please drink responsibly.
Speaker 1
Yeah, this is the best time of the NFL. Some people say it's the opening weekend.
Some people say it's the playoffs or the draft. Nope, it's rule proposal time.
Speaker 1
That's the best time of the NFL season or offseason. So, with that in mind, there is a proposal made by the Green Bay Packers right now to essentially ban the tush push.
Billy Gill, will it pass?
Speaker 5 I think it will not pass. We've been hearing about them banning the tush push for years now.
Speaker 5 No one seems to enjoy it, but it feels like one of those things that's just
Speaker 5 not
Speaker 1 going to pass.
Speaker 1 Puentez?
Speaker 6 I agree. I think
Speaker 6 the year where you propose getting rid of it is the year that the team that does it the best wins wins a Super Bowl is probably not the best way to go about it because now it just sounds like you're crying over spilled milk.
Speaker 6
Sour grapes. Yeah, sour grapes.
So
Speaker 6
probably not the best time, but like Billy said, they didn't do it the year before or the year before that. They're probably not going to do it this year either.
I mean, it's, it's, is it boring?
Speaker 6 Do I not like it?
Speaker 6
Yeah, I don't like it at all. I think it is boring.
I think it kills the flow of the game, but at the same time, like
Speaker 6 it's football and
Speaker 6 it's guys running into each other and they they do it really well and they're just gonna take advantage of it and there's also gonna be a moment in time where
Speaker 6 they may not be as good at it. So I just don't see it going anywhere.
Speaker 5 This feels also like one of those things that politicians are out front, like, we are going to get rid of the tush-push and this and that. And then you're like, but you voted to keep it.
Speaker 1 Like, what happened here now?
Speaker 1
It keeps offenses on the field. It puts more points up.
I think everybody hates it, but they will never get rid of it.
Speaker 5 Okay, so it will not pass, Mikey. Mikey, the next one.
Speaker 1 Okay, the next one is proposed by the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 1 And you can see why they would propose this after last year, where essentially they would do new seating system for the playoffs, and everybody would be seated based on their record, not whether they won the division or not.
Speaker 1 Now, the division winners would still get in. However, once you're in, you're seated based up solely on your record.
Speaker 1 Billy Gill. Well,
Speaker 5 we just played Bracketts Bonanza, and in brackets bonanza we don't worry about the seedings we do we have the initial seedings and then it's just brackets style they don't want to have automatic uh you know like three seeds for teams that win their division if they're bad will it pass
Speaker 5 i think this year it will not pass I'm going to go no
Speaker 5
this year it will not pass this feels like one of those that is kind of floated floated out there. We'll see how it's received.
It's not going to pass.
Speaker 5 Then it's going to take a couple of years, pick up steam, and then maybe eventually it passes. But I think this year it will not pass.
Speaker 1 Puentes, will it pass?
Speaker 6 No, I think the NFL wants divisions to mean something. So if they don't get the home playoff game, then you totally strip that away because then really who cares? You just got to get a good record.
Speaker 6 And I mean, no, I don't think it passes. They've been doing it this way for a long time.
Speaker 6 And yes, yes, it does suck when you get a seven and nine Seattle team hosting a 12-win New Orleans team, which, as we all know, is the Beast Mode run. But yeah,
Speaker 6 I just don't see it passing.
Speaker 1 All right. Another proposal by the Eagles.
Speaker 1 Essentially marrying the playoff overtime rules with the regular season overtime rules so that both teams will get a possession in overtime, regardless of if it's in the playoffs or in the
Speaker 1 regular season.
Speaker 1 Mike Fuentes,
Speaker 1 will it pass?
Speaker 6 This one should pass, but I don't know if it will.
Speaker 6 I can't really think of a reasoning. I mean, I mean, why not?
Speaker 1 I guess more football. Yeah, it's more making players play more football.
Speaker 6 But as we know, like the Player Association isn't going to like that.
Speaker 5 So, um, I don't know.
Speaker 1 I'm going to say they always get what they want.
Speaker 6 Also true. But I just,
Speaker 6
I would like it. Obviously, like you said, it's more football for us.
I mean, they already got the two extra games, you know, so during the season. So,
Speaker 6
you know what? I've been so negative. It will pass.
We're going to get more football.
Speaker 5 I hope it doesn't pass, honestly. I like the sudden death aspect of the playoffs and football during the regular season.
Speaker 5 I do like the whole situation where if it's a field goal, you have a chance at the touchdown, but I like the urgency. I like not necessarily saying, you know what, we're going to get the ball anyways.
Speaker 5
It doesn't really matter. Let's take our time.
Let's draw this out. I want it to feel like it can get ended any minute.
So I hope it doesn't pass, even though that's not the question.
Speaker 1 What one more quick one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because this one's funny for me because the Pittsburgh Steelers are the one proposing this.
Speaker 1 The Pittsburgh Steelers are proposing a resolution that allows teams to have some contact with pending free agents in that legal tampering window.
Speaker 1 Right now, they're only allowed to talk to their agents.
Speaker 1 But I imagine after this year, the Steelers would have liked to have known a certain player's intentions prior to making the moves that they did. So my question for you, Billy Gill, is, will it pass?
Speaker 5 The legal tampering.
Speaker 1 is such a cross.
Speaker 5 It's so ridiculous. Anyways, I feel like the way this should be asked is, are we just going to move up the window where you can speak to the players directly?
Speaker 5 I'm going to say, yes, it's going to pass. And if it doesn't, it's just a charade anyways.
Speaker 5 There's no way any of these players are signing at the times that they're signing, being contacted for the first time.
Speaker 5 I don't know why we're even pretending that's still how it works, but I'm going to say, yes, that passes.
Speaker 1 Juentez, will it pass?
Speaker 6
Be quick now. Yeah, I'm going to say yes.
I'm going to say yes because it's so true what Billy says.
Speaker 6 Like, yeah, because we all know negotiations with lawyers and contracts, you just sit down at a table and 10 minutes later, it's done. So yeah, it's going to pass.
Speaker 1 All right, guys. Join us next year or never for another edition of Will It Pass? Wow, Will It Pass.
Speaker 6 Coming up next. Presented by Smirnoff.
Speaker 5
Presented by Smirnoff, the world's number one vodka. Please drink responsibly.
Coming up next, it's the return of a fan favorite, Moore Mikely.
Speaker 5
God Bless Football is presented by Spearnoff. We do game days.
Please drink responsibly with the Spirnoff Company, New York, New York. It's been a fun show so far.
Speaker 5
How would we rank our games that we've played? I'll ask you, Mikey, and then I'll ask you, Fuentes. We've done so far, Will It Pass.
We've done here's a headline, and we've done brackets bonanza.
Speaker 5 So if you were to rank the three in order of like to least like, which would you say?
Speaker 1
This is easy for me. Number one was easily Brackett's Bonanza.
Yes.
Speaker 1 Yeah, that was number one. Number two,
Speaker 1 I think, is a solid will it pass?
Speaker 5 Yeah.
Speaker 1 And then here's a headline is probably third. Not because it was bad, just because it didn't have any pizzazz.
Speaker 5 Yeah, I think the thing about here's a headline is we're going to have to do it every week because we have to talk about the headlines and we could just play the headlines or we could just play here's a headline.
Speaker 5 So I'm going to...
Speaker 5 I'm just going to stay with those rankings and not even ask Fuentes what his rankings are, just because I feel like what's the point of asking him the rankings. We're just wasting time at that point.
Speaker 5 Respectfully to Fuentes, I'm not saying Fuentes, you're not offended by that, are you?
Speaker 6 Uh, no, but I can say that I really like Brackett's Bonanza. I just wish it would have been extended because then we would have had the chance for like
Speaker 6 a really big upset, like, would have like the rate. Oh, so you want builds, you want, yeah, you want the full
Speaker 6 in the bracket, yes,
Speaker 5 you know what?
Speaker 1 I don't hate this. I don't hate this for next week.
Speaker 5 I'm making a note of this, and I think that maybe next week we will come back with a new brackets bonanza in which the AFC and NFC are seeded 1 to 16,
Speaker 5
and there will be no buys, and we'll just kind of play it out. I like this.
I'm making a note of this. Brackets Bonanza 1 through 16.
Speaker 6 I want to see if the 5-12 Panthers can somehow find a way to take down the 11-6 Packers. Can they see it? Can they find a way to get it hot? One-game scenario.
Speaker 5
I think for that one, we're going to have to seed the teams in advance, though. We're not going to be able to seed them one through 16.
In fact,
Speaker 6 we'll actually have to put some thought into it. Yes.
Speaker 5
I think we're going to cheat and we're going to start. We're going to keep one through seven the same just for some consistency.
And then we'll rank eight through 16 in each conference off air.
Speaker 5 And then we'll come to you with a brackets bonanza where we do one through 16 and see if it's the same results because it might not be.
Speaker 5 Because remember, no reseeding once the or re-racking the matchups once it is at the playoffs start.
Speaker 1 And no buys. Exactly right.
Speaker 5
Everybody knows the the rules. That's how it works.
So, of course.
Speaker 1 Yeah.
Speaker 5
All right. So it is time now for more Mikely.
Mikey, take it away.
Speaker 1 All right. Let's start with some breaking news from, I guess it would be yesterday if you're listening to this on Friday.
Speaker 1 More Mikely to be a better investment. The $6.05 billion
Speaker 1 that the new owners paid for the Washington Commanders or the $6.1 billion that was just paid to buy the Celtics.
Speaker 1 Better investment. A middle-of-the-road football team or the best NBA team?
Speaker 1 Relatively speaking.
Speaker 5 I'm going to go with the NFL team. I feel like NFL teams appreciate and value much more than NBA teams.
Speaker 5 Like NBA teams, there's maybe like one or two franchises like at the top that are like going to be worth a crazy amount of money, where NFL teams are always going to be worth a crazy amount of money i mean let's be real all the teams are going to be worth a crazy amount of money but to your point
Speaker 5 if a middle-of-the-road team is you know going for the same as one of like the premier teams in the nba nfl team
Speaker 6 yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna agree with billy uh mainly because the commanders are like a historic nfl franchise they have a lot of like gibbs era all that stuff very long tradition with the Commanders.
Speaker 6 So,
Speaker 6 even like, maybe I would say there'd be a little bit of an argument.
Speaker 6 It feels like the Jacksonville Jaguars are like a lower-tier franchise of the NFL because obviously the Boston Celtics are one of two premier franchises of the NBA.
Speaker 6 But just the way football is just a juggernaut in this country when it comes to sports entertainment, I'm going to say the Commanders.
Speaker 1 All right, put you on the spot. How many NFL teams would you put the Celtics as more valuable then?
Speaker 5 Oh, wow. That's a good question.
Speaker 6 I'll give you the Los Angeles Chargers
Speaker 1 Even though it's L.A.?
Speaker 6 Even though it's that market? That's the only saving race. Because the San Diego Chargers were
Speaker 6
not a great-looking franchise for a long time. Then I'd say the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I'd probably say Tennessee Titans.
Speaker 5 The Panthers.
Speaker 6 The Carolina Panthers, yes.
Speaker 6 I wouldn't say the Browns just because they've been around forever.
Speaker 6
Let me see who else here. Panthers.
And maybe the Falcons?
Speaker 6 That's it. Broncos.
Speaker 6 No, Broncos have a big tradition.
Speaker 6
That's it. That's it, really.
So maybe four or five. Really? Yeah.
Speaker 1 All right. It's interesting.
Speaker 1 Here's another interesting one for you. Did you say the cards?
Speaker 6 No, I didn't, but I'd probably throw them in there.
Speaker 1 How dare you, Bird Gang? Bird Gang.
Speaker 1 We got to go to Arizona again next year.
Speaker 5
We do. My kids, it's the strangest thing.
I don't know if you're like this, Mikey. You never know what's going to resonate with your kids.
Speaker 5 My kids will not stop mentioning cactus anytime they drive by like cactus, cactus, and I'm like, guys, like, why were cactuses so much? Like, they left such an impression on you in Arizona.
Speaker 1 It's the craziest thing.
Speaker 1 Anyway, yeah, yeah, we got to do that again. Uh, all right, more Mikely to be the position taken first in the NFL draft out of these positions: wide receiver, tight end, running back.
Speaker 1 This is shocking to me because I think there's an obvious.
Speaker 6 Oh, you have like extra actual data or just your opinion?
Speaker 1 No, I just who do you think this year is more likely to be taken first in this draft class
Speaker 1 in this draft?
Speaker 1 Because every other year, you'd say
Speaker 1 it's an easy one.
Speaker 1 It's this position.
Speaker 1 But this year, I think it's the one that you would take last.
Speaker 5 You're saying tight end,
Speaker 5 wide receiver, running running back.
Speaker 1 I'm going second. Are you on this one?
Speaker 5 Can I just
Speaker 6
go running back? Yeah, it's either Austin Genty or Warren, right? Ashton. Yeah, Ashton.
Yeah. Yeah.
So it's those two guys.
Speaker 6 Those are the two ones because I can't think of a wide receiver that's great.
Speaker 1 McMillan is
Speaker 1
the best wide receiver. Now, here's the other question.
Do you count Travis Hunter as a wide receiver?
Speaker 6 Ah, you're cheating.
Speaker 1 Oh.
Speaker 1 I don't think so. I think he's a corner.
Speaker 6 I'm going to say Warren.
Speaker 5 I'm going Genty.
Speaker 1 I think Genty goes six to the Raiders.
Speaker 5 If we're not counting Travis Hunter as wide receiver, we're just counting him under the famous football athlete category. then I would say Genty.
Speaker 5 If we're counting him as a wide receiver, then I would go wide receiver, though.
Speaker 1 Staying with the draft, more likely to be an NFL bust. Shador Sanders or KM Ward?
Speaker 5 Man, this is okay.
Speaker 1 We don't know where they go yet.
Speaker 5 The answer, if they both fail,
Speaker 5 The answer should be Cam Ward. If they both fail, If he goes number one in the draft and he fails,
Speaker 5 even if they both fail at the same time, if he's the number one pick, he would be the bigger bust.
Speaker 5 Shador
Speaker 5
is getting so much hate that I believe everyone wants him to fail just to begin with. I believe everyone wants him to fail.
And if Shadur and Cam both fail, Like, that's how I'm playing this.
Speaker 5
Not if one fails or the other fails. If they both fail, Cam Ward should be the bigger bust.
bust however if they both fail i think shador
Speaker 5 will be considered a bigger bust completely unfairly and people might forget about cam ward
Speaker 6 i'm i'm gonna that makes sense yeah i'm gonna do this analysis assuming that they both get drafted by the titans so that way they're in the same situation because
Speaker 6 The Titan situation is really bad. Can we all agree on that? So,
Speaker 6 just by the way, you know,
Speaker 6 it's in the numbers. If Shador goes after Cam, he's going to be on a better team, right? Not loads better, but it should be a better team because they're drafting later.
Speaker 6 In terms of personality, I think Billy's kind of hitting it on the head.
Speaker 6 There's people out there that want Shador Sanders to fail more just because of who his dad is and all the hype in Colorado and all that stuff, which is unfair.
Speaker 6
But who I think is going to be more likely to be a bust is probably going to be Shador, I would say. But I don't know.
The Titans are so bad. Like, I don't know if Cam can really flourish there.
Speaker 6 I think they're both kind of in a losing proposition.
Speaker 1 Interesting follow-up. Who was a bigger bust? Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota? They were taken 1-2.
Speaker 1 I feel like we could be looking at a very similar situation eight, ten years from now.
Speaker 6 I would say Mariota was a bigger bust, though.
Speaker 5 Mariota was a bigger bust.
Speaker 5 Like, Jameis is still, I mean, they're both still in the league, but if you had, okay.
Speaker 6 But drive for your life tomorrow. You'd rather have Jameis and Marcus Mariota, right?
Speaker 5 Yeah, and if you, and if you could say, you know what, this is who I want.
Speaker 5
I have a backup position available. They're going to go for the same amount of money.
Do I want Jameis or do I want Marcus Mariota? I feel like almost every team would take Jameis Winston.
Speaker 6 Yeah, if I need a drive from one of them, I'd much rather put Jameis in there than
Speaker 6 Marcus Mariota. Even though Marcus Mariota has has been solid, he's only been solid as a backup.
Speaker 6 Like, you could consider Jameis a very low-tier starter, but you still consider him a starter more than Mariota is.
Speaker 1 Interesting.
Speaker 1 We got time for one more point. Yeah,
Speaker 6 yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 5
Don't even ask him. Don't even ask him.
Yeah,
Speaker 6 yeah. You have 30 seconds, but go ahead.
Speaker 1 More likely to make the playoffs in their first season as head coach with their new team. Mike Vrabel with the Patriots or Liam Cohen with the Jaguars.
Speaker 5 Vrabel.
Speaker 6 Angry.
Speaker 6 I'm going to say,
Speaker 6 what's the other guy's name? Cohen? Liam Cohen. Yeah, Liam Cohen, just because it's a lot easier to win the AFC South than the AFC East.
Speaker 5
He's just wild card, is what I'm thinking. Also, Marcus Mariota, NFL bust, who has made $75 million in his career.
Sign me up.
Speaker 6 Yep.
Speaker 5 Sign me up for that right now.
Speaker 6 God bless football.
Speaker 4 God bless football.
